The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 1659 - Jimmy Kimmel Defamed Charlie Kirk And His Supporters. Now He’s Off The Air. Good Riddance.

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, Jimmy Kimmel lied and defamed Charlie Kirk and his supporters,

00:00:04.000 and now he's been kicked off the air. Of course, the left is treating this like a national tragedy,

00:00:07.900 to them a far greater tragedy than the actual murder of an innocent man.

00:00:11.700 We'll talk about that. Also, Nancy Mace moves to censure Ilhan Omar. The Muslim mayor of 1.00

00:00:16.720 Dearborn tells a citizen that although he lives in the city, he isn't welcome there.

00:00:20.860 It's funny because I feel exactly the same way about the mayor. We'll discuss

00:00:23.620 all of that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.

00:00:30.000 Are you drowning in credit card and loan debt? Well, you're not alone, but here's something most

00:00:54.560 people don't know. September is actually the best time to negotiate with your lenders. Why September?

00:01:00.060 Well, credit card companies and lenders are doing year-end accounting and desperately need

00:01:04.320 to clear problem accounts from their books before audits begin. This creates a narrow window where

00:01:09.440 they're far more willing to cut deals than any other time of year. Done With Debt has cracked the

00:01:14.040 code on this timing advantage. They know exactly which companies are most motivated to negotiate

00:01:19.200 right now and use this insider knowledge to get results you can't achieve on your own. The best part,

00:01:24.000 no bankruptcy, no new loans, no credit damage. In fact, most clients end up with more money in

00:01:29.500 their pocket within the first month because they're no longer drowning in minimum payments.

00:01:34.260 But the September window won't stay open forever. Once Q4 hits, lenders lighten up again and your

00:01:40.300 leverage disappears. Get started now. While you still have time, go to donewithdebt.com and talk

00:01:46.320 with one of their specialists for free. Visit donewithdebt.com, donewithdebt.com.

00:01:52.100 Eight days after the murder of Charlie Kirk, it's time to get specific about what actions

00:01:56.960 need to be taken in order to prevent any more conservatives from being hunted in this country.

00:02:01.920 Now, it's true, as we discussed yesterday, that there are several indications that Charlie's killer

00:02:07.020 did not act alone. At the moment, the FBI says that it's looking into additional suspects,

00:02:12.420 including the people who predicted that the shooting would occur several days in advance

00:02:16.480 on social media. But even if a domestic LGBT terror cell is uncovered in this case,

00:02:22.260 prosecuting them isn't going to be enough. It's a necessary step. But at the same time,

00:02:26.700 it's nowhere near sufficient. If we want to ensure that conservatives have the right of free expression,

00:02:31.040 we need to dismantle hundreds, if not thousands, of left-wing terror networks all across the country,

00:02:36.500 as we've been saying all week. But it's one thing to say something like that. It's one thing to rail

00:02:43.460 against left-wing NGOs and trans activists over and over again until everybody gets bored and moves

00:02:48.280 on and nothing is accomplished. To get anything done, of course, you need evidence of actual

00:02:52.380 criminal activity. You need some kind of smoking gun. And despite what the attorney general might

00:02:56.400 claim, hate speech does not qualify as criminal activity. Mocking Charlie Kirk's death, as virtually

00:03:01.860 everyone on the left is doing, is obviously reprehensible. It's disgusting. It's demonic. But

00:03:06.260 in most cases, it's not illegal. What is illegal, on the other hand, is planning, funding, organizing,

00:03:12.660 and otherwise abetting riots, harassment, property destruction, economic sabotage, murder, and so on.

00:03:20.560 Those are the kinds of activities that, under RICO law, are actually very easy to prosecute.

00:03:25.400 If an organization exists to repeatedly engage in criminal activity like this, the whole organization

00:03:30.000 can be shut down and everybody involved can be hauled to prison. The president himself has invoked

00:03:35.000 the RICO law recently in public appearances as a potential way to dismantle some of the left's

00:03:39.660 biggest and most powerful institutions. And the other day, a researcher named Ryan Morrow

00:03:44.240 with the Capitol Research Center outlined exactly what those prosecutions could look like.

00:03:50.140 He provided what appears to be a smoking gun, or at least the first of many, many smoking guns

00:03:56.020 that will soon follow. This is a very important report that's worth highlighting because it moves

00:04:00.460 beyond rhetoric and gives us, gets us much closer to actual tangible results. So here's part of that

00:04:05.100 report. Quote, since 2016, George Soros' Open Society Foundation, OSF, now run with his son Alexander,

00:04:12.740 has poured over $80 million into groups tied to terrorism or extremist violence. Open Society has

00:04:17.840 spent millions of dollars, sent millions of dollars into U.S.-based organizations that engage in direct

00:04:23.380 action that the FBI defines as domestic terrorism. These groups include the Center for Third World

00:04:29.820 Organizing and its militant partner Ruckus Society, which trained activists in property destruction and

00:04:35.420 sabotage during the 2020 riots, and the Sunrise Movement, which endorsed the Antifa-linked Stop Cop

00:04:40.740 City Campaign, in which activists currently face over 40 domestic terrorism charges and 60 racketeering

00:04:46.860 indictments. Open Society awarded $18 million to the Movement for Black Lives, a group that instructs

00:04:52.980 activists in the use of false IDs, blockades, and economic disruption. Now, the report adds that,

00:04:59.420 according to Morrow's investigation, quote, Open Society rewarded at least $23 million to seven groups that

00:05:04.920 engage in or materially assist violence, property destruction, economic sabotage, harassment, and other

00:05:10.660 criminality that meets the FBI's definition of domestic terrorism. Now, just to expound on one of those

00:05:16.480 organizations, the Ruckus Society, as the name implies, reportedly suggests in their own training material that

00:05:23.240 they encourage certain types of illegal activities. According to Influence Watch, these training materials

00:05:28.120 instruct members on, quote, tactics to resist the unjust system. Some of these may be legal strategies, while others

00:05:33.500 may be outside of the law, such as the use of civil disobedience. Now, to be very clear, under federal law,

00:05:41.540 non-profits are not allowed to engage in any form of partisan political activity, much less criminal

00:05:47.620 activity. So we're potentially talking about tax crimes here, in addition to everything else.

00:05:53.300 There could be layers upon layers of criminal activity going on, and it happens so often that you

00:05:57.920 probably don't even think about it or realize the extent of the problem. For example, you probably don't

00:06:01.720 remember this scene from San Francisco last year. A rioter stormed the Golden Gate Bridge, and they blocked

00:06:08.640 traffic, including ambulances, from going anywhere for hours. And guess what? It wasn't a random group

00:06:14.740 of leftists who decided to do this. A woman named Ellen Caminiti served as a spokeswoman for the

00:06:20.840 rioters, and her day job, as it turns out, is serving as a communications director at a non-profit called

00:06:26.800 National Center for Lesbian Rights. So she takes tax-exempt money from the lesbian non-profit, 0.98

00:06:32.920 then stages a criminal takeover of a major bridge during work hours. Of course, the lesbian non-profit 1.00

00:06:40.020 had no problem with this because this is the entire purpose of left-wing non-profits. For the most part,

00:06:44.800 they're engineered to organize and fund lawlessness under the cover of law. Multiply this incident by

00:06:51.960 about a million, and you begin to get a sense of the scale of the problem. There is a vast network of

00:06:56.960 well-funded left-wing NGOs that, if you look below the surface and get past their mission statement,

00:07:02.340 you see that they are intent on undermining and destroying the United States. 0.50

00:07:07.560 If you're somebody who likes to find conspiracies, well, here it is. This is it.

00:07:13.940 Here's another example, which Andy Ngo reported over the summer. Michael Backus is a 46-year-old

00:07:19.200 trans activist and prostitute from Houston who dresses like a girl. And according to Ngo, the man, 0.96

00:07:26.240 has been standing outside the courthouse in downtown Portland recording people to try to

00:07:31.280 intimidate witnesses who testify in the injunction hearing to enforce sound ordinances at the anti-ICE

00:07:37.620 Antifa riots. Supposedly, he's often armed as well. Now, you can see what this looks like on your

00:07:43.600 screen. We'll spare you some of the more unsettling photographs of this particular trans prostitute, 1.00

00:07:48.840 but you can imagine. This is a deranged individual. This is a psychopath who's reportedly 0.99

00:07:54.500 there intimidating people near the courthouse to advance some kind of open borders agenda. And 0.81

00:08:00.540 guess what? This person has apparently received financial support from yet another left-wing

00:08:05.100 nonprofit. No reports that this prostitute has, quote, received thousands in grant money from a

00:08:09.980 trans 501c3 for cosmetic surgery. Disturbingly, the Point of Pride nonprofit describes Backus' child 0.93

00:08:16.460 prostitution past as if it was normal. Now, this kind of thing is very, very common, and it needs to 1.00

00:08:24.160 be shut down immediately. Nonprofits should not be allowed to fund known criminals, much less known

00:08:29.160 criminals who are engaging in acts of intimidation outside of federal courthouses. And even beyond that,

00:08:33.900 nonprofits shouldn't be allowed to fund sex changes for mentally disturbed individuals who think that 0.62

00:08:37.920 they're transgender. That's another problem we could put an end to overnight, and it's time to do so. 1.00

00:08:42.920 Now, if you want to read Ryan Morrow's full report, and you should, it's on the website of the Capital

00:08:47.860 Research Center. You can read more about how various organizations have received millions of dollars

00:08:52.440 from entities connected to George Soros, and then used that money to endorse Antifa coalitions that have,

00:08:58.820 quote, engaged in arson, property damage, and violence against law enforcement and personnel and utility

00:09:03.540 workers to try to stop construction of this local police training center. Attacks include setting a police

00:09:09.880 vehicle ablaze, throwing Molotov cocktails, bricks and rocks at police, setting construction equipment

00:09:14.920 on fire, blocking roads with obstacles like tires, harming police officers' eyes with lasers, and

00:09:20.220 attacking the Atlanta Police Foundation's building with fireworks. And on and on. Dozens of charges,

00:09:27.160 including domestic terrorism and racketeering, have been filed in these cases. The evidence is well

00:09:32.380 established, and now it's time to act on it. This is a crackdown that should commence without any hint of

00:09:37.900 hesitation whatsoever. It should be lawful, but forceful. We have control of the federal government.

00:09:43.060 We have the support of the majority of the American people, and we are morally justified.

00:09:49.260 On our side, we don't celebrate cold-blooded murder. We don't glorify political assassinations.

00:09:54.880 We don't deny the reality of biology or encourage the mutilation and sterilization of children.

00:09:59.300 We have every conceivable mandate to dismantle these criminal enterprises,

00:10:03.240 and we need to carry out that mandate using the full weight of the federal government.

00:10:07.900 The momentum is ours. There are other indicators, as you may have seen, that we are winning

00:10:12.560 this fight. Last night, for example, the left-wing activist Jimmy Kimmel was finally taken off the

00:10:17.880 air. Here's what Kimmel said, in case you missed it. Watch.

00:10:21.600 We hit some new lows over the weekend, with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize

00:10:26.240 this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can

00:10:31.560 to score political points from it.

00:10:33.780 Now, Kimmel was taken off the air just hours after the FCC chair, a man named Brendan Carr,

00:10:38.440 gave an interview with Benny Johnson yesterday where he suggested that ABC, or more specifically

00:10:43.480 ABC's affiliates, might be violating the terms of their broadcast licenses by airing Kimmel's

00:10:48.800 show. Now, for background, it's been clear for many years that Kimmel was violating the

00:10:53.960 terms of ABC's broadcast license. He was never performing any kind of comedy routine.

00:10:57.340 He was simply delivering propaganda on behalf of the Democrat Party every single night,

00:11:02.480 seemingly unconcerned with the fact that his ratings were plummeting year after year. In fact,

00:11:06.400 on several occasions, he was caught working directly with Democrats in the Senate to distribute

00:11:10.080 campaign materials. He celebrated the termination of conservatives, including Tucker Carlson. He

00:11:15.100 celebrated when Donald Trump was banned from Twitter. He routinely embraced censorship and

00:11:19.420 partisanship, and now he's finally gone, at least for the time being.

00:11:23.320 Now, from a legal perspective, Kimmel's behavior was a problem because, as you may have noticed,

00:11:29.620 not everybody gets the right to use the public airwaves in the way that ABC and their affiliates

00:11:34.300 do. One of the requirements of holding a public broadcast license is that your content must advance

00:11:40.220 the public interest in some way. Now, quoting from the FCC's website,

00:11:44.420 in exchange for obtaining a valuable license to operate a broadcast station using the public airwaves,

00:11:48.920 each radio and television licensee is required by law to operate its station in the public

00:11:53.300 interest, convenience, and necessity. Generally, this means it must air programming that is responsive

00:11:57.720 to the needs and problems of its local community of license.

00:12:02.160 Now, flagrant lies about major public events, which are distributed solely for the benefit of one

00:12:07.180 political party, are clearly not in the public interest. In fact, there are specific federal rules

00:12:11.460 against disseminating false information using the public airwaves about crimes or catastrophes.

00:12:17.040 Let's put that up on the screen. Again, this is the direct from the FCC's website.

00:12:21.720 These are the rules. They've been the rules well-established for decades. Just because

00:12:26.940 they've never been enforced against these left-wing networks doesn't mean they didn't exist.

00:12:31.880 So as you can see, broadcast licensees cannot broadcast false information concerning a crime

00:12:36.720 or catastrophe if the licensee knows the information is false and it's foreseeable that the false

00:12:41.840 information will cause substantial public harm. And then the false information does actually cause

00:12:46.780 substantial public harm. Now, you can debate whether Kimmel's lie caused public harm under the strict

00:12:50.960 legal definition. But in general, there's no doubt that flagrant falsehoods like this, falsehoods that

00:12:55.820 effectively endorse political assassinations by running cover for them, are extremely damaging to

00:13:00.820 the country in every meaningful way. And they certainly aren't in the public interest.

00:13:05.840 Now, Kimmel knew that it wasn't true that Kirk's assassin was a Trump supporter. He knew that it made no sense

00:13:10.540 to suggest that. He knew he was defaming a Christian husband and father who had just been murdered in front of his

00:13:15.220 family and in front of the entire world, but he lied anyway, like the disgusting scumbag that he is. 1.00

00:13:21.580 And he thought there would be no consequences for doing so because he's been lying for more than a 1.00

00:13:25.540 decade in pretty much the same way. And indeed, normally, conservatives would hear smug degenerates 0.52

00:13:30.860 like Kimmel say stuff like this, and they just shrug it off. Meanwhile, the left would destroy

00:13:37.040 conservatives' livelihoods for infractions that weren't half as egregious. Conservatives wouldn't start

00:13:42.940 a campaign to cancel Jimmy Kimmel's show. They certainly wouldn't call the federal government

00:13:46.920 to do anything. That was the state of play right up until the moment that Charlie was murdered.

00:13:55.280 And that is not the state of play anymore. First of all, immediately after Kimmel's comments,

00:14:02.880 conservatives on X with large followings, including people like Aaron McIntyre at The Blaze,

00:14:07.340 began telling their followers to bombard all of Kimmel's advertisers, as well as Disney and ABC

00:14:11.920 executives, with complaints. And there was a massive response. Huge numbers of people were

00:14:18.380 doing that. Then on top of that, here's what FCC Chair Brendan Carr said in an interview with Benny

00:14:22.860 Johnson yesterday, quote, we could do this the easy way or the hard way. These companies can find ways

00:14:27.620 to change conduct and take actions on Kimmel, or there's going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.

00:14:33.180 This is the approach that, along with activism by conservatives and social media, presumably sent

00:14:37.320 ABC executives into a panic, along with the executives at Sinclair and Nexstar, which own the

00:14:42.380 affiliates that broadcast ABC's content. But it's not actually clear that Brendan Carr was the tipping

00:14:47.640 point here. There's evidence that these affiliates, especially after seeing the backlash, were simply

00:14:51.720 tired of Kimmel's act, outraged by what he said, or probably more specifically, were worried about

00:14:57.780 the audience backlash. In fact, Sinclair is now demanding that Kimmel apologize to Kirk's family

00:15:04.820 and make a donation to Turning Point. Meanwhile, they're going to broadcast a tribute to Charlie

00:15:08.760 Kirk in Kimmel's usual time slot. In other words, there's no reason to think that the government or

00:15:12.740 the FCC had anything to do with Kimmel's suspension. The response from conservatives was

00:15:18.120 probably enough. In any event, the upshot is that, at least for now, Kimmel won't be able to lie to his

00:15:24.140 15 viewers anymore or implicitly encourage them to commit political assassinations.

00:15:28.740 And in response, the best defense that the left can offer isn't particularly convincing. Watch.

00:15:34.960 Let's back up and look at what Kimmel actually said on the program that has caused controversy.

00:15:40.100 This is from Monday night in his Monday evening monologue. Kimmel suggested that the alleged killer

00:15:46.240 of Charlie Kirk might have been a pro-Trump Republican. He said, quote,

00:15:49.880 the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything

00:15:54.740 other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.

00:15:59.340 He said, in between the finger pointing, there was grieving. Kimmel was expressing what we've

00:16:04.080 heard some other liberals say in recent days, that the motives are unclear and that maybe the suspect

00:16:09.300 in this case was a Republican or was some sort of far right fringe figure. Of course, there has been

00:16:15.140 a lot of discussion about that in recent days. There's a lot of evidence pointing in other

00:16:18.880 directions about the suspect. But Kimmel was on the air talking about this, making a very serious

00:16:24.420 commentary amid his jokes in his monologue Monday night. Again, it's another lie. That's all they

00:16:29.940 can do. First of all, Kimmel didn't suggest anything. He said it. He flat out said that the shooter was a

00:16:35.680 MAGA Republican. And contrary to what Brian Stelter is saying, there's no basis at all for saying that

00:16:43.360 the shooter might have been a Republican. Every single piece of evidence, every single piece of evidence

00:16:47.700 contradicts that claim. Starting with the fact that he shot one of the most prominent Republicans

00:16:52.800 in the entire country. And also he wrote that Charlie was a fascist on the bullets. He fell 0.96

00:16:57.420 into left-wing politics, according to his own family. He had a gay, furry, transgender roommate. 0.99

00:17:02.480 Okay, all of these things are evidence that obviously he was not a Republican. Any attempt to suggest that 0.98

00:17:09.460 this was a Republican shooter, including the claim that Stelter just made, is a grotesque lie.

00:17:15.260 And it's a lie that does have legal implications, given that ABC relies on broadcast licenses.

00:17:23.340 But the lies kept coming on CNN. Here's what Van Jones had to say.

00:17:28.500 That is why we exist. Not to knuckle under, not to do what we're told, but to stand up and to say,

00:17:36.020 listen, if you want to pull these licenses, then we're going to go to court and we'll be in the court

00:17:40.680 of public opinion. But you don't get to go on a podcast and set policy for American media,

00:17:47.760 for an American media institution that's been around a lot longer than me, you, or Donald Trump.

00:17:52.820 This is a red line that has been crossed for our industry, for the First Amendment, for the right of

00:18:01.120 people to speak. There was nothing hateful about what was said. And even hateful speech is protected.

00:18:07.080 This is this is not acceptable. If you are going to run a media organization that's called a news

00:18:14.080 organization, you have to stand up to government bullying anywhere in the world and certainly in

00:18:17.980 the United States. Well, the job should be to speak truth to power, even when there are people who don't

00:18:25.480 like the word truth anymore. Well, he's wrong, by the way, that the speech wasn't hateful. I mean,

00:18:30.240 it clearly was. It was very obviously an attempt to malign Charlie Kirk's movement and every one of his

00:18:34.740 supporters. But that's not the biggest problem with what Van Jones said. He's acting as though the

00:18:38.980 FCC has just violated the First Amendment simply because the FCC chair mentioned on a podcast that

00:18:43.320 they were considering the possibility of, you know, taking a look at this and and and seeing if there

00:18:49.600 was lawful action to take against ABC and its affiliates. I mean, that's the most that was done

00:18:54.700 on the governmental level was talking about something on a podcast. But of course, in his answer,

00:19:00.020 Jones doesn't say a word about broadcast licenses or ABC's obligations under the law. He doesn't

00:19:05.100 acknowledge the very significant distinction between an organization like CNN, which is a cable

00:19:09.460 network, and a network like ABC, which is broadcast over public airwaves. Nor does he address the

00:19:14.160 statement from Sinclair, which was obviously appalled by what Kimmel had said all on their own.

00:19:18.980 Nextar had a similar statement. But even if we assume the FCC was the deciding factor, even though it

00:19:25.320 probably wasn't, the key point is that Jimmy Kimmel and these ABC affiliates do not have a

00:19:30.220 constitutional right to use the public airwaves to disseminate malicious propaganda on behalf of a

00:19:35.380 political party. I'm sorry, but they just don't. The use of those airwaves is a privilege and there's

00:19:41.600 a mountain of evidence up to and including Kimmel's statements about Charlie Kirk that ABC does not

00:19:46.640 deserve to have that privilege. I know we're so used to the fact that that ABC, that networks like ABC

00:19:53.880 have been able to use the public airwaves and maintain their broadcast licenses while every

00:19:59.340 single single day for years and years and years violating the rules of the license and disseminating

00:20:05.560 propaganda lying to their audiences. Like we're used to that. But that doesn't mean that it was ever

00:20:10.840 actually legal to do. And there are a lot of things that up until this moment, conservatives have

00:20:16.400 have just said, OK, yeah, well, you know, probably they shouldn't be doing that. Really, they aren't

00:20:21.740 supposed to do it. They can't do it, but they're doing it anyway. And, you know, what are we going

00:20:25.980 to do? What are we going to what are we going to do? Take their license away? That was kind of the

00:20:31.560 conservative attitude up until this moment. And now the attitude is, well, yeah, we'll take their

00:20:38.960 license away. Why shouldn't we? You violated the rules. We're going to hold you to it. 0.96

00:20:46.780 What argument do you have besides crying about it? Go ahead and cry. We don't care. 0.77

00:20:51.740 In fact, we revel in your tears. We revel in them.

00:20:57.820 Now, admittedly, at this point, you know, we are in unfamiliar territory as conservatives. We're not

00:21:04.260 used to the idea of utilizing the power of the federal government in a way that incites,

00:21:08.760 that inflicts any kind of meaningful consequences on our political opponents.

00:21:14.720 Or even that suggests consequences might be possible in order to improve this country and restore civil

00:21:20.360 liberties to all Americans. We've seen how Democrats use the power of the federal government maliciously

00:21:24.740 and unlawfully. And so we have a natural aversion to the idea of doing anything that may appear remotely

00:21:32.880 similar. But not all federal crackdowns amount to lawfare. Not every aggressive action by the DOJ or the FCC

00:21:40.060 is unconstitutional.

00:21:41.080 We actually don't have an obligation to pretend that every Soros-funded nonprofit is untouchable

00:21:47.540 or that every corporate media outlet deserves to have a broadcast license.

00:21:50.660 We can believe in the First Amendment while also punishing unlawful conduct that's masquerading as legitimate.

00:21:57.000 Every conservative must understand this. As long as we are very judicious about how we proceed,

00:22:01.220 as long as we don't devolve into a Fannie Willis-style circus or go around policing hate speech,

00:22:05.460 then we have the opportunity to bring about some of the most significant improvements to American civic life

00:22:10.600 in generations.

00:22:12.820 We can prevent rioters from terrorizing entire cities because BLM has selected a new martyr

00:22:18.420 or because ICE officers are arresting illegal aliens in a particular city.

00:22:21.960 We can shut down militant trans NGOs, preventing young people from receiving money to mutilate their bodies 1.00

00:22:28.880 or commit acts of terrorism. We can end the practice of strangely well-funded and well-equipped protesters

00:22:34.280 popping up at a moment's notice to harass law enforcement or witnesses in federal trials

00:22:38.640 or shut down traffic on the highway.

00:22:41.280 We can and should do all of those things.

00:22:44.640 The job of the federal government is to ensure that every citizen in this country

00:22:47.820 can enjoy their civil liberties, and a big part of that responsibility

00:22:50.440 is to ensure that criminal enterprises are not operating within our borders,

00:22:54.900 plotting acts of terrorism that will silence conservative expression.

00:22:58.400 Again, the president seems to understand that.

00:23:01.120 Last night, for example, he declared that Antifa is a major domestic terrorist

00:23:04.200 organization, and while the left will complain about that designation,

00:23:08.640 no reasonable person can really dispute it.

00:23:11.260 Everyone can see now that the left supports political assassinations.

00:23:15.200 They openly endorse political violence without any reservation.

00:23:18.460 They revel in it.

00:23:20.260 And there's strong evidence that some of the most powerful groups on the left

00:23:23.000 are funding this violence.

00:23:25.740 These criminals have operated with impunity for far too long.

00:23:28.240 Like Jimmy Kimmel, they've never contemplated the possibility of facing any consequences

00:23:32.200 for their actions.

00:23:34.420 Never contemplated the idea that any rule would ever be enforced against them.

00:23:39.820 Now, after what they've done to Charlie, those consequences,

00:23:44.380 which will be as ruthless as they are righteous, are finally upon them.

00:23:50.140 Now let's get to our five headlines.

00:23:51.480 Do you guys ever read protein bar labels and feel like you're reading off a candy bar?

00:24:02.360 Most protein bars are loaded with sugar and processed junk food that leave you bloated

00:24:06.540 and unsatisfied.

00:24:07.920 Well, my team was hunting for something better, a clean protein bar that actually keeps us energized.

00:24:13.140 Now enter Equip Foods Prime Bar, the first grass-fed beef protein bar made with only real food ingredients

00:24:21.420 and absolutely nothing to hide.

00:24:22.780 Starting today, my listeners will receive an exclusive discount on Prime Bar,

00:24:26.440 which has become our team's favorite protein bar on the market with 20 grams of protein in every bar.

00:24:32.520 I've tried a lot of protein bars on the market, and none of them taste like real food.

00:24:36.260 They taste artificial and strange, but Prime Bar actually tastes like real food.

00:24:40.920 And it's good, with just 11 clean ingredients, including collagen, beef tallow, and colostrum,

00:24:46.200 naturally sweetened with dates and honey.

00:24:48.280 You get 20 grams of clean protein without the bloat.

00:24:51.460 No whey, seed oils, gluten, or artificial junk.

00:24:54.240 They're third-party tested for heavy metals, microplastics, and pesticides,

00:24:58.100 so they can actually back up their cleanest bars on the market claim.

00:25:01.900 If you want to try the cleanest protein bar on the market that already sold out once,

00:25:05.560 go to EquipFoods.com slash Matt Walsh and use code Matt Walsh at checkout

00:25:10.000 For over a week, we paused advertisements and any appeals for Daily Wire memberships

00:25:27.000 to focus on the only thing that truly mattered in the moment,

00:25:29.980 remembering and honoring the legacy of Charlie Kirk.

00:25:32.100 And yet, even without being asked, you showed up for us,

00:25:35.740 watching, commenting, sharing, and supporting us by becoming Daily Wire members.

00:25:39.860 You reminded us once again that we're not alone in the fight for freedom,

00:25:42.880 that we will not be silenced, and that together we will keep building the future.

00:25:46.860 Thank you for standing with us.

00:25:48.600 You are what makes America great and inspires us to continue the work we do every day.

00:25:52.880 I have talked about the necessity for conservatives to band together

00:25:58.300 and put their squabbles and grudges aside,

00:26:01.440 and so I want to lead by example here

00:26:03.800 by coming to the defense of Congresswoman Nancy Mace.

00:26:11.380 Now, as you know, I have not exactly been a Nancy Mace fan in recent months.

00:26:17.820 I've been pretty hard on her, actually, very critical.

00:26:20.700 But the olive branch that I've extended goes to everybody on the right.

00:26:26.000 Everybody on the right, across the spectrum.

00:26:30.640 Because that's what I truly believe the moment calls for.

00:26:37.760 That's what I truly believe.

00:26:40.560 And now, if anyone on the right, and as we've already seen,

00:26:43.660 there are some on the right who have declined,

00:26:48.380 who have said, no, thank you.

00:26:51.700 I don't want to be united with you.

00:26:53.960 I want to keep picking you apart and defaming and slandering you.

00:27:01.540 In fact, there are some ostensibly conservative accounts on X right now

00:27:08.400 that over the last couple of days have been frantically claiming

00:27:13.040 that I am using Nazi rhetoric now.

00:27:16.680 Well, we'll get back to Nancy Mace in a second here, but now I'm going off on a tangent.

00:27:20.320 But, you know, because I've extended the olive branch.

00:27:23.720 I've said, anyone on the right, okay?

00:27:26.440 And there are some of these accounts on X that have said that it's a Nazi rhetoric.

00:27:35.060 And you're going to think that I'm exaggerating when I say this.

00:27:38.160 But what is the Nazi rhetoric that I've used?

00:27:43.420 Well, the Nazi rhetoric, according to these ostensibly some conservative accounts,

00:27:49.400 is that I have talked about friends and enemies.

00:27:55.660 So I've made a distinction between friends and enemies.

00:27:58.960 And according to my critics, that is Nazi language.

00:28:06.180 That's really what they're claiming.

00:28:07.660 I'm not making a straw man.

00:28:08.760 That's really what they're saying.

00:28:09.840 In fact, when we were on, you know, we had the great honor of being guests

00:28:15.840 on the Charlie Kirk show a couple of days ago.

00:28:21.660 And it was this one clip where I made the same point on the show that, you know,

00:28:27.040 it's very easy for me to see the distinction between friends and enemies.

00:28:31.820 It's always been pretty easy for me to see.

00:28:33.780 But now over the last week, that distinction could not be more stark.

00:28:38.360 And the distinction is that, as I said, I said on Charlie's show,

00:28:45.340 that I know that if I'm killed, nobody on the right will celebrate it.

00:28:57.980 They will all mourn it.

00:29:01.280 And even the people on the right that I have had serious differences with,

00:29:05.340 even though people that have criticized me relentlessly, as some of them have done 0.98

00:29:09.600 for years and years, if I were to walk outside right now and get shot and killed,

00:29:15.440 none of those people would celebrate that fact. 0.53

00:29:18.540 They would all mourn it.

00:29:19.960 And I believe that they would genuinely, that they would genuinely mourn it.

00:29:24.320 Just as I would for them.

00:29:25.540 However, on the left, if I walk outside and get shot,

00:29:33.460 we all know it's unanimous celebration.

00:29:38.600 There's no, it's nearly unanimous.

00:29:41.840 Like 95% agreement there will be that it's a good thing that I was killed.

00:29:46.940 So, so it's easy for me to see, like the people that I know for a fact would celebrate my death.

00:29:54.300 They are my enemies.

00:29:56.260 If that doesn't make you my enemy, then the word enemy doesn't mean anything.

00:29:59.600 Um, and so it was that point that I made a few times, I made on Charlie's show that, uh,

00:30:11.480 that I was told by some supposed conservatives is, uh, is Nazi language.

00:30:19.200 Because did you know that Nazis invented the distinction between friends and enemies?

00:30:25.360 Before the Nazis came along, everybody was, everyone was friends.

00:30:29.600 Did you know that?

00:30:32.040 Yeah, you gotta, you gotta really, you gotta really study world history or,

00:30:35.020 because you could miss that.

00:30:36.020 That's a fact you could miss.

00:30:37.020 There are a lot of things, there are a lot of things in world history that you could misinterpret.

00:30:41.740 When you, when you read the history of the world and, and, and you see just nothing but war and violence and conflict,

00:30:48.420 you might see that and think that, oh, wow, well, they had friends and enemies.

00:30:51.720 There's always been friends and enemies in human civilization.

00:30:55.620 Um, but no, no, everybody was friends until the,

00:30:59.420 and the Nazis came along and they invented, they invented the, the enemies, you know? 0.95

00:31:03.880 And so then all of a sudden there was a distinction between friends and enemies.

00:31:06.920 Um, so that's what some conservatives.

00:31:09.420 So, so they, they have, uh, not only have they declined my olive branch that I've extended,

00:31:16.340 but they've even said that in my extending of the olive branch, I, I'm revealing that I'm a Nazi.

00:31:23.180 So, um, and that's fine.

00:31:26.420 If, if anyone, anyone who says, uh, we don't want to be united with you, then that's, then that's fine.

00:31:32.060 But as I said, you, you've made yourself irrelevant.

00:31:34.520 Um, you were already probably irrelevant, but you've made yourself even more so, um, as, as we move forward.

00:31:41.080 Um, because there's a real battle, a real battle between good and evil right now, between light and darkness.

00:31:49.400 And, um, you want to sit on the sidelines and nitpick.

00:31:52.300 That's Nazi language. 0.63

00:31:53.900 You know, that's not even nitpicking.

00:31:55.700 That's just, that's flagrantly making things up.

00:31:59.440 You want to do that, which is just, um, so you're, you're opting out of the battle. 0.79

00:32:03.460 You want to be totally useless and that's, that's fine.

00:32:06.440 Um, but back to Nancy Mace now, granted, she is a politician. 1.00

00:32:13.880 So I reserve the right to criticize when necessary, but the focus right now should be coming together against the left who wants us dead.

00:32:23.880 So with that said, um, here is, uh, Nancy Mace. 0.79

00:32:29.780 Listen, here I am standing outside of the anti-American Ilhan Omar's.

00:32:36.440 Office tomorrow.

00:32:37.880 We will file a privileged motion to censure her and to strip her of her committee assignments. 1.00

00:32:45.880 She is, uh, inciting violence against conservatives in the league of Charlie Kirk's political assassination.

00:32:53.000 She is dehumanizing conservatives all across the country, calling Charlie Kirk a terrorist.

00:32:59.160 We have been villainized and dehumanized far too long.

00:33:03.200 The Democrats sets a standard for stripping people of their committee assignments.

00:33:08.180 I'm not going to be silent on this because enough is enough.

00:33:12.960 I'm tired of your performative BS that is putting lives in danger.

00:33:20.100 However, you can take your Sharia loving anti-American self back to Somalia.

00:33:27.880 Couldn't have said it better myself.

00:33:29.700 So Nancy Mace is filing a motion to, to censure Ilhan Omar. 0.99

00:33:33.360 She says Omar should take her ass back to Somalia. 0.99

00:33:36.020 She's right about that. 1.00

00:33:36.820 Here's more from the Daily Mail.

00:33:39.000 Representative Nancy Mace is working to punish progressive squad member Ilhan Omar for the Democrats' vile comments about Charlie Kirk's assassination.

00:33:45.680 A day after the 31-year-old father of two was killed while speaking in front of 3,000 people, Omar ripped into Turning Point USA co-founder's legacy.

00:33:52.580 Omar told Zateo last Thursday, there are a lot of people who are talking about him, that is Kirk, just wanting to have a civil debate. 0.99

00:33:59.380 These people are full of shit, and it's important for us to call them out, but we feel anger and sadness. 0.99

00:34:05.560 And later, the Minnesota Democrat reposted a video that claimed Kirk was a reprehensible human being and a terrorist. 1.00

00:34:14.160 Omar, though, claims that Mace's gambit will fail.

00:34:18.540 She posted, fun fact, Nancy Mace is trying to censor me over comments I never said. 1.00

00:34:22.960 Her resolution does not contain a single quote from me because she couldn't find any.

00:34:26.600 Unlike her, I have routinely condemned political violence, no matter the ideology.

00:34:30.600 This is all an act to push a false story so she can fundraise and boost her run for governor. 0.99

00:34:35.820 So Ilhan Omar is, of course, lying.

00:34:37.340 She's hiding behind the fact that she was retweeting people saying vile things about Charlie rather than saying them herself.

00:34:42.940 But there's no difference there.

00:34:44.440 She retweeted a video of somebody calling Charlie a terrorist, and she did that mere hours after his death.

00:34:49.880 Now, when somebody is murdered and you call them a terrorist, are you justifying their murder?

00:34:57.280 Yes, obviously you are. 1.00

00:34:58.920 Terrorists, actual terrorists, deserve to be killed. 1.00

00:35:03.080 That's what we do with terrorists, right? 1.00

00:35:04.980 It's not controversial. 1.00

00:35:05.740 We kill terrorists. 1.00

00:35:08.940 They should be killed legally. 1.00

00:35:11.240 They should either on the field of battle or arrested, convicted, and executed. 1.00

00:35:16.660 But, yeah, when you call someone a terrorist, you are justifying them being killed.

00:35:24.380 And when you call them a terrorist right after they've been killed, you're justifying it. 0.89

00:35:30.460 And it's even worse with Ilhan because she's too chicken to come out and just say it herself. 0.99

00:35:35.880 So she posts other people saying it and then plays dumb. 1.00

00:35:39.040 She deserves to be censured, deserves to lose her committee assignments. 1.00

00:35:44.080 She deserves more than that.

00:35:45.400 I mean, I said a few days ago, I think she deserves to be denaturalized and deported. 1.00

00:35:49.520 She lied in her documentation when she became a citizen.

00:35:52.320 She has no loyalty to this country.

00:35:54.220 She lied.

00:35:55.020 She became a citizen under false pretenses.

00:35:57.240 And so, yeah, she should be denaturalized and kicked out of the country. 0.99

00:36:00.060 And I shouldn't need to explain this either, but just for the record, this is not a free speech issue.

00:36:08.480 You know, Ilhan is a public official.

00:36:10.360 She's a member of Congress.

00:36:11.480 There are certain standards we expect people in her position to live up to.

00:36:15.120 You have certain responsibilities.

00:36:18.620 Ilhan is not living up to those responsibilities.

00:36:20.660 She deserves to be punished for it. 0.99

00:36:22.760 So, well done, Nancy Mays.

00:36:26.360 Post Millennial reports a heated exchange at a Dearborn City Council meeting last week has sparked controversy after Mayor Abdullah Hamoud told a Christian resident he was not welcome in the city for objecting to new street signs honoring an Arab news publisher that has supported terrorism.

00:36:44.320 Edward Ted Barham, who identified himself as a longtime Dearborn resident, voiced concerns during the public comment period about Wayne County's decision to name two intersections on Warren Avenue after publisher Osama Siblani.

00:36:56.360 He's a promoter of Hezbollah and Hamas, Barham said.

00:36:59.180 He talks about how the blood of martyrs irrigates the land of Palestine.

00:37:01.980 Others will fight with planes, drones, and rockets.

00:37:05.160 Barham compared the honor to naming a road Hezbollah Street or Hamas Street.

00:37:10.960 Several council members interjected.

00:37:14.840 And then we have the comments from the mayor.

00:37:19.860 In fact, we have a video.

00:37:20.820 So we'll just go ahead and play the video.

00:37:22.300 So this is, that's the setup.

00:37:24.780 That's what this guy was objecting to.

00:37:26.360 And the mayor, what's this guy's name again?

00:37:30.900 Mayor Abdullah Hamoud had this to say in response.

00:37:35.740 Listen.

00:37:36.920 I mean, Hezbollah, you know, bombed the embassy in Beirut, including many Americans.

00:37:44.500 So I just feel it's quite inappropriate.

00:37:47.260 You are an Islamophobe.

00:37:48.180 And although you live here, I want you to know as mayor, you are not welcome here.

00:37:52.560 And the day you move out of the city will be the day that I launch a parade celebrating the fact that you moved out of the city.

00:37:57.760 Because you are not somebody who believes in coexistence.

00:38:00.140 Now this is why I have no remorse for the way that I talk about these foreigners who come here and hate our country and our people and subvert our culture for their own ends. 1.00

00:38:12.620 Because I have no remorse, no compunction about it.

00:38:16.820 Because this is how they talk about us and to us.

00:38:19.480 Just imagine the nerve it takes, the nerve, to be a guy named Abdullah H. Hamoud and to tell someone else, a guy named Ted, that he's not welcome here.

00:38:35.420 And listen to what he says.

00:38:38.160 He says, although you live here, you aren't welcome here.

00:38:41.960 Oh, well, that's funny, Abdullah.

00:38:44.320 Because I feel exactly the same about you.

00:38:46.760 Yeah, you live here in America, but you're not welcome here.

00:38:51.140 And you're not really an American. 0.57

00:38:53.360 And once we ship all the foreign subverters out of this country, the people who hate this country, hate our traditions, hate our culture. 0.99

00:38:59.740 Once you're all gone, I too will throw a parade.

00:39:02.760 We will all throw a parade.

00:39:03.760 So the feeling is mutual, Abdullah.

00:39:10.060 What's happening in Dearborn and so many other places, Minneapolis, many places, is a perfect illustration of the problem with mass migration.

00:39:18.000 You know, the foreigners are obviously not attempting to assimilate into American culture. 0.86

00:39:21.600 The assimilation ruse was dropped a long time ago. 0.99

00:39:24.020 We know that.

00:39:25.080 But they also aren't nearly trying to set up their own enclaves, their own little foreign bubbles in our country.

00:39:31.940 That's bad enough.

00:39:33.760 But what they're actually doing is this.

00:39:36.420 They're doing what you see here.

00:39:37.400 They are attempting to force America to assimilate to them. 0.99

00:39:42.600 That's what's happening.

00:39:44.400 So I think we should all, myself included, we should be more precise in how we speak about this issue.

00:39:51.240 Because we say that, oh, assimilation isn't happening.

00:39:54.160 I just said it a second ago.

00:39:57.120 But it's worse than that.

00:39:58.280 No, what's actually happening is that these people will not assimilate to us.

00:40:06.700 What they want is for us to assimilate to them.

00:40:09.560 And assimilate to them, not just in tolerating them coming here and setting up their own enclaves, but actually, it's our obligation.

00:40:22.020 So when a foreigner from an Arab country comes here, they're going to work to turn our country, our land, in Arab. 1.00

00:40:31.700 And it's our obligation to get with that program.

00:40:36.240 That's their attitude.

00:40:37.260 And so they're going to start renaming the streets and the cities after their Arab heroes.

00:40:45.220 And if you have an issue with it, you aren't welcome.

00:40:48.580 You aren't welcome in your own country, in your own land.

00:40:54.380 Just the gall to say that.

00:40:57.720 For Mayor Abdullah to say that to Ted in America, you're not welcome here.

00:41:07.260 Who do you think you are, Abdullah?

00:41:15.880 This is how you end up with a mayor named Abdullah who condemns a citizen of his own town, an American citizen, says he isn't welcome in his own land.

00:41:24.460 He isn't welcome.

00:41:27.420 This is a takeover.

00:41:28.580 This is a hostile takeover.

00:41:30.220 Couldn't be any more clear.

00:41:31.220 These people come here and they say, okay, now all of you, all of you in America, you people who welcomed us, who allowed us to come, who were generous to us.

00:41:43.580 Now you must do as we say.

00:41:46.120 You have to get with our program.

00:41:49.980 We can't tolerate this.

00:41:51.680 We cannot tolerate it.

00:41:53.160 Can't put up with it.

00:41:54.160 It's too much, too far, gone way, way, way too far.

00:42:04.920 And they will use this kind of language and yet you'll still have Americans who tell us that for us to use that sort of language in return is, you know, not welcoming enough, racist, xenophobic.

00:42:18.020 Well, I don't care what you call it.

00:42:24.920 You can call it xenophobic all you want.

00:42:26.640 People like this are not welcome.

00:42:29.480 You're not welcome here.

00:42:35.120 Here's a.

00:42:37.120 We'll move to this.

00:42:38.060 The new college of Florida put out this tweet.

00:42:40.100 The tweet says, today we announced that we will commission a statue of Charlie Kirk to honor his legacy and incredible work after a tragic assassination last week.

00:42:46.620 The statue, privately funded by community leaders, will stand on campus as a commitment by new college to defend and fight for free speech and civil discourse in American life.

00:42:53.780 Location for the statue will be announced in the coming months.

00:42:55.920 You can see the statue there or I guess the mock up of the of the statue.

00:43:01.060 It's a great idea.

00:43:03.400 Now, I will say this.

00:43:04.400 If you're going to put up a statue of Charlie, you better have security around it and cameras rolling.

00:43:11.360 At all times, security cameras, you better be prepared to arrest and prosecute anyone who vandalizes it.

00:43:16.620 You better be able to, you better be ready to bring the hammer down on the first leftist who comes and tries to spray paint it or tear it down because that'll happen in about 30 seconds.

00:43:28.840 And you got to bring that hammer down and bring it down hard.

00:43:32.000 Like prison time.

00:43:34.600 Throw every single possible, throw the entire, everything in the book you can find. 0.97

00:43:39.160 To throw at that person, throw it at them.

00:43:44.580 First student that comes along, okay, you're expelled and we're going to send you to prison. 0.99

00:43:48.640 Congratulations, you just ruined your whole life.

00:43:50.980 All I did was spray paint a statue. 0.95

00:43:52.440 Yeah, okay, but your life is ruined.

00:43:56.640 Sorry.

00:43:57.000 And now you're an example for the next person who comes along and thinks that it's your place to do that because you don't like.

00:44:06.320 I mean, look, there's, there's, it's all about, you know, a lot of what we're dealing with right now is, you know, I always bring it back to parenting.

00:44:14.840 Uh, and, and, you know, these leftists, because in a lot of ways they, they, well, they didn't, they had bad parents or they didn't have parents at all.

00:44:26.460 They have not been parented or they've been parented poorly.

00:44:29.900 They act like children.

00:44:32.580 And so there's a lot of, um, you know, lessons you can draw just from an experience as a parent.

00:44:39.980 So these leftists have, they've developed really bad habits.

00:44:42.640 They've developed really bad habits and they need to be broken of those habits.

00:44:51.120 And one of the many bad habits that they've developed is that because, because they've been allowed to, they've, they've developed this habit of thinking that if they see a statue or a monument, they don't like, they can just tear it down.

00:45:06.540 Because, because, because as a parent, if you put up with bad behavior and you make it and you do that, and that's, you're going to get a lot more of it.

00:45:17.420 Once the child realizes that he can get away with whatever the bad behavior is, he's going to keep doing it.

00:45:22.680 And so it's, it's insane, but we tolerated this for years.

00:45:32.380 I mean, you, everyone remembers it.

00:45:33.900 We lived through it.

00:45:36.820 There was years where the left, they could just, they see a statue and they're like, I don't like that one.

00:45:40.180 I'm just going to take it down.

00:45:41.080 It's like, what?

00:45:41.940 What?

00:45:43.420 How, you can't, you can't just do that.

00:45:45.220 You, you, you don't like a public monument, you can just tear it down, but they could just do it.

00:45:54.840 We allowed it.

00:45:56.380 Didn't have to allow it.

00:46:00.600 You tear down a statue.

00:46:03.020 There's like dozens of laws that you're breaking all at once.

00:46:09.740 So we need to, this is one of the many bad habits that they need to be broken of.

00:46:13.820 And one of the ways that you do that is by setting an example.

00:46:18.500 You come down hard, you set an example.

00:46:21.920 And I suspect that this statue, when it goes up, will be a good place to start.

00:46:27.700 But this is also what we need to do.

00:46:29.140 We can't, you know, we can't just oppose the left.

00:46:30.920 We can't just fight against whatever they're trying to do because, because that's what the left does.

00:46:34.440 You know, they only oppose.

00:46:35.460 They, they only try to tear down.

00:46:36.880 They have no positive vision, right?

00:46:38.740 They, they destroy, they tear down statues, but then they put nothing in its place.

00:46:44.440 They have no heroes, really.

00:46:46.740 Now, sure, you might say, well, they have George Floyd.

00:46:48.620 They have BLM martyrs. 0.75

00:46:50.420 Right.

00:46:50.640 Well, that's exactly the point.

00:46:51.520 George Floyd is not a hero.

00:46:53.500 He never did anything heroic.

00:46:54.640 He never contributed a single positive thing to the world or to his community. 0.95

00:46:57.900 He, he, he was a predator.

00:47:02.940 It's, you know, the stark difference between, uh, between Charlie Kirk and George Floyd.

00:47:11.420 Um, I mean, you could, it's, it's an endless list of differences, but you notice when, when people are mourning Charlie, his friends, family, uh, wife, children,

00:47:27.880 and then even people who didn't know him, they're talking about, they're not just talking about how he died.

00:47:36.160 They're talking about what he did in his life.

00:47:38.520 They're remembering the, the, the wonderful things that he did and achieved and the positive impact that he had on them.

00:47:48.880 When the left was mourning George Floyd, there was none of that.

00:47:52.340 Even his own family, even his own family, like they couldn't come up with anything good the guy ever did.

00:47:58.840 Endless eulogies to George Floyd.

00:48:00.660 We never heard one thing.

00:48:01.800 Like, what did this guy ever do?

00:48:03.600 His own family.

00:48:04.560 They, they couldn't, they couldn't give one example.

00:48:06.040 Like, give me what, did he ever do anything good?

00:48:08.100 Did he loan someone five bucks at some point?

00:48:10.020 I mean, did he do anything ever good for anyone at any point in his life? 0.99

00:48:13.260 And the answer is no, he never did anything good for anybody because he was a horrible person and a violent predator. 0.99

00:48:20.720 He invaded a woman's house and robbed her at gunpoint. 0.97

00:48:23.380 I mean, this is the kind of person he was.

00:48:24.920 It's like the worst kind of person you can be.

00:48:28.880 So he was not a hero.

00:48:31.920 And, and, uh, they, they turned him into a symbol simply because of the manner of his death.

00:48:37.900 And that's all they have.

00:48:39.880 They have no real heroes.

00:48:40.860 So we, as conservatives, we have to have a positive vision and we have to assert that vision.

00:48:48.020 And part of that is having heroes that we celebrate.

00:48:51.900 Having cultural heroes is a very, it's a very important part of having a culture and being a culture.

00:48:56.380 Um, having people, great men that we look up to.

00:49:01.460 And that's why it's important to build statues and name streets and cities after our heroes.

00:49:05.660 It's very important.

00:49:06.860 It's an essential part of having a national identity, a part of building and maintaining a culture.

00:49:11.440 So yes, let's build the Charlie Kirk statues.

00:49:14.100 Have Charlie Kirk, uh, schools and streets.

00:49:17.240 He's a true hero.

00:49:18.860 Not just because of how he died.

00:49:20.440 Not just because he was, he's a symbol because of how he died, but because of how he lived.

00:49:25.120 And we should celebrate him as such.

00:49:28.660 And this should be part of a larger campaign to start celebrating our cultural heroes again.

00:49:36.120 Um, I've said many times that, that, you know, we, we should, we should start erecting 100 foot statues of, of, of Columbus everywhere.

00:49:45.160 Um, you know, it's, it's not enough to just stop the left from vandalizing and tearing down the statues.

00:49:53.180 We have to build these monuments again.

00:49:55.120 Columbus, one of the greatest men in the history of the world.

00:49:58.700 One of the great men of Western civilization.

00:50:02.160 You know, and there's many, many other examples.

00:50:04.220 We have to celebrate our heroes, celebrate our traditions.

00:50:07.320 And, uh, I think this is a good place to start.

00:50:09.920 I want to close the show with a very brief thought.

00:50:13.980 Um, I spoke at an event for the organization, do no harm last night.

00:50:17.660 It was the first speech I've given since Charlie's death.

00:50:20.380 Uh, fitting that I think that my first speech would be at a do no harm event,

00:50:24.280 given that they fight against gender ideology.

00:50:26.200 And so did Charlie.

00:50:27.260 And of course he was killed by a militant for that ideology.

00:50:31.720 I'd like to reiterate something that I said during that speech,

00:50:34.380 because it's, it's been on my mind quite a bit.

00:50:37.560 And I think that it's, it's worth saying to a larger audience here on the show.

00:50:41.340 So that's what I will do.

00:50:44.700 Uh, a couple of days ago, someone asked me a question that I've been thinking about ever since.

00:50:52.840 And the question was this, do I think that Charlie thought that it was worth it in the end?

00:51:02.380 In his dying moments, if he was able to think anything at all, if he was able to form any thoughts before he passed,

00:51:10.720 did he think that it was worth it?

00:51:13.660 Was it worth fighting for truth given the price he had to pay for it?

00:51:18.360 If all he had worked for had led him to this, this moment, death, pain, was it worth it?

00:51:29.580 Would he take it all back if he had known the cost, if he had known that it would cost him literally everything?

00:51:36.760 And this is a question that resonates deeply because it has personal implications for all of us.

00:51:41.780 You know, when I say that we're under attack, that they want us dead, that all of this is probably going to get worse before it gets better.

00:51:51.860 I really mean it.

00:51:53.060 I don't say it for effect or to be dramatic or, or to generate a viral clip or whatever.

00:51:59.420 I say it because I believe it to be true.

00:52:03.180 Which means that I have to ask myself, we all have to ask ourselves, is it worth it?

00:52:08.840 What if you meet the same fate as Charlie?

00:52:11.080 I mean, really, really think about it.

00:52:13.140 What if you do?

00:52:15.420 If you have the chance to think anything before the lights go out, will, will you think that it was worth it?

00:52:20.820 Or, or will you wish that you had just kept your mouth shut?

00:52:24.500 That you had stayed out of it, that, that, that you hadn't put yourself out there?

00:52:29.340 What did Charlie think about that?

00:52:30.780 Well, I don't, I don't know what Charlie thought, obviously.

00:52:34.620 I mean, there, there are a lot of people speaking for Charlie, putting words in his mouth,

00:52:38.600 telling us what he thought or would have thought about this or that.

00:52:42.480 I don't want to do that.

00:52:44.620 The truth is, I don't know what goes through a man's mind when he's in his final moments.

00:52:48.260 I literally cannot imagine it.

00:52:53.080 When he's lying in a pool of his own blood and all he can hear is the chaos and the screaming and the shrieks of horror all around him.

00:52:59.460 When he's confronted suddenly and violently with the reality that he will never see his wife and children again in this life.

00:53:06.580 I don't know what kind of thoughts you think, if any.

00:53:13.160 But if I had to guess, based on what I know about Charlie, did he think it was worth it?

00:53:19.960 Yes.

00:53:21.780 Yes, I really do.

00:53:23.720 And what I can say for sure, without making any assumptions about Charlie's state of mind, is that it was worth it.

00:53:31.800 Charlie died because he stood for the truth.

00:53:33.880 Let's make no mistake about that.

00:53:36.580 That's why he was killed.

00:53:37.980 He was killed because he spoke the truth.

00:53:42.160 And the truth is worth any cost that we must pay for it.

00:53:47.020 The truth is worth our lives.

00:53:48.600 It's worth our blood.

00:53:49.440 It's worth even the grief and tears of our loved ones.

00:53:55.760 Because the truth is the only thing that's worth anything.

00:53:59.300 And the truth always wins in the end.

00:54:00.860 The truth always prevails.

00:54:01.860 I mean, you can hide from it.

00:54:02.920 You can lie about it.

00:54:04.700 You can try to distract from it.

00:54:06.400 You can attempt to confuse and change the subject.

00:54:10.340 You can cajole and harass and threaten those who speak it. 1.00

00:54:15.360 You can kill them. 0.99

00:54:17.020 But you can't kill the truth. 1.00

00:54:18.000 The truth will outlive all of us.

00:54:21.520 It was here before us.

00:54:22.480 It'll be here after us.

00:54:24.380 When we're all dead and gone and our graves are forgotten and overgrown, the truth will still be the truth.

00:54:31.020 Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life.

00:54:33.500 Jesus Christ is the truth.

00:54:34.680 The truth is Christ.

00:54:36.060 The truth is eternal.

00:54:38.460 There's nothing more important than it.

00:54:40.300 It's more important than any of our lives.

00:54:45.500 And the truth is what Charlie dedicated his life to.

00:54:47.900 So, yes, the truth is worth dying for.

00:54:53.120 Because it's worth living for.

00:54:55.660 And Charlie never forgot that.

00:54:57.960 And neither should we.

00:55:00.540 That'll do it for the show today.
