00:02:50.440Well, of course, you know, at first glance, it's surprising to see a white male depicted in an advertisement at all.0.52
00:02:56.860I mean, that's a rare sight these days, as we know.
00:02:59.160I was watching football on Sunday and I don't think I saw a single commercial with a white male unless he was depicted as part of a biracial couple or like a multiracial friend group.
00:03:11.920Aside from that, you know, you only see white males in commercials if they're portraying, of course, the burglars in a home security ad or, you know, maybe the greedy credit card company executives in an ad for a different credit card company that doesn't have greedy executives.
00:03:27.100of course. That's the kind of brilliantly subtle messaging we've come to expect from our nation's
00:03:32.400illustrious marketing departments. And it's also apparently exactly what we can expect from the
00:03:37.660Republican Party, which rose to power in the last election by campaigning quite explicitly
00:03:41.920against DEI and against anti-white discrimination in general, even if usually they won't call it
00:03:48.760that. Now they're trying to convince us that the prototypical welfare parasite is a 23-year-old0.97
00:03:55.540white guy named Brad, which is exactly like producing a PSA calling attention to plummeting0.94
00:04:01.080math scores featuring a procrastinating incompetent East Asian math student named like0.67
00:04:07.200Zhang Chen or something. You know, exactly the sort of person that immediately springs to mind1.00
00:04:12.140when we think of people who aren't good at math. Now, the truth, of course, is that white males0.82
00:04:17.480are among the least likely to be on any kind of welfare at all. And young white males like Brad
00:04:23.080are virtually non-existent on the welfare rolls.
00:04:27.320We'll dig into the numbers more in a minute
00:04:29.080because this is actually a much more revealing moment
00:06:08.840I object to it on the grounds that it is AI slop, on those grounds at least.0.72
00:06:13.880It's also not really representative of the statistically standard welfare moocher, who is more likely to be a black single mom with multiple children.0.51
00:06:25.460You know, the people attaching themselves to the welfare system like barnacles on the hull of a ship and staying on the dole for their entire lives and costing the taxpayers untold billions of dollars every single year are generally not young male gamers of any race.0.65
00:06:41.600You know, that AI slot video is a lowbrow, insulting, crass, black male caricature.0.92
00:06:51.560And the whole point is that you would never see that or anything like it, AI or otherwise, from any politician on the left or right.0.71
00:07:00.740And if you ever did, it would be widely condemned as racist.
00:07:04.540Nobody would pretend they don't see the problem with it, that they don't understand what the ad is doing or why.
00:07:10.960You know, and when people objected to that ad, if it ever did exist, which it never would, you know, you're not going to get people saying, what?
00:07:19.160I don't. Oh, you're upset about that? I have no idea why.
00:07:24.780That wouldn't happen because this kind of demonization only ever goes one way, only ever targets one group.
00:07:32.040White males have been degraded, demeaned and systematically disadvantaged by every institution in the country explicitly.
00:07:37.200so, openly so, for decades. That's a fact. That's not just like a sob story. That's actually just0.73
00:07:45.360a fact. It's true. Some of us are tired of it, and we expect our elected representatives to
00:07:51.480push back against it, or at the very least, if they don't have the gumption to push back against
00:07:55.300it, at least don't participate in it. Now, not every conservative feels this way. As the ad
00:08:01.180provoked a loud and justified backlash from many on the right, there were others who were quick
00:08:07.000to rush to its defense. For example, Joel Berry, who used to write for the Babylon Bee,
00:08:12.580posted this, quote, there's a strategic reason behind using a white guy in this ad. It's designed
00:08:17.960to keep the conversation on the merits of the policy instead of making it a racial issue.0.99
00:08:21.560That would have worked great 10 years ago, but now we have a growing contingent of whites0.94
00:08:25.920who are just as cripplingly insecure and neurotic about race as a BIPOC SJW.0.99
00:08:32.200Now, I don't know why Joel is pretending he doesn't understand the point, but I do know1.00
00:08:39.680that he is pretending. He's smart enough to know that there is a rather significant difference
00:08:45.580between the white people criticizing this ad and the, quote, BIPOC SJWs. The difference is that0.94
00:08:52.440the latter group complains about systemic and institutional bigotry against their favored
00:08:58.040demographic groups, except that the systemic and institutional bigotry is not real. On the other
00:09:05.260hand, the growing contingent of whites, as Joel calls them, complaining about systemic and
00:09:10.100institutional bigotry against white males, in that case, the systemic and institutional bigotry
00:09:17.000is real. So we're complaining about a thing that is real, it's actually happening,
00:09:22.020as opposed to complaining about a thing that is not real and not happening.
00:09:28.660Joel, do you understand the distinction between complaining about a thing that isn't happening
00:09:33.300and complaining about a thing that is happening?
00:09:36.320Do you see why there's no logical or moral equivalence between those two?
00:09:41.260I think you do see it. I think you're pretending that you don't see it.
00:09:46.340In fact, I know you see it because you admit it in the first sentence.
00:09:49.040You say, again, there's a strategic reason behind using a white guy in this ad.
00:09:54.440It's designed to keep the conversation on the merits of the policy instead of making it a racial issue.
00:09:59.160Hmm. Hmm. Why would that be the case, Joel?
00:10:04.160Why would political consultants assume that the only way to avoid a racial controversy1.00
00:10:10.820is to portray the oafish, dishonest, useless parasite as a white male?1.00
00:10:16.600Why is it? Is it because white males are the only group that can be portrayed that way in our society?1.00
00:10:24.180Is it because that is the unspoken and sometimes actually spoken, in this case by you, rule that every major institution in the country has followed for decades?
00:10:35.160Yes, you're right. And that's the point.
00:10:39.060Some of us are not okay with white males being the default punching bags.0.97
00:10:45.140We're not okay with a situation where we say, okay, well, we need a group to be the punching bag here.0.99
00:10:49.800Let's just use white males. Obviously, it's going to be white males.0.97
00:10:53.040We need a bad guy. Got to be a white male.1.00
00:10:56.280Like, yes, I agree that that is the strategy. That is what they're doing.
00:11:35.220Now, meanwhile, in the face of this backlash, instead of firing her communications team and admitting the ad was a terrible idea,1.00
00:11:40.660Sarah Huckabee Sanders proceeded to make the situation infinitely worse. She didn't simply0.97
00:11:44.600double down. She took a cue from the Joel Berry camp and pretended that she didn't understand
00:11:49.440what everybody was upset about. Here's what she wrote, quote, some critics online don't like my
00:11:55.360welfare work requirement ad. Next thing you know, they'll say I should have used cookies instead of
00:11:59.540cheese balls. If you're able-bodied, you should not collect welfare simply because you choose not
00:12:04.700to work, period. Again, these critics online are conservatives who are simply tired of seeing even
00:12:12.420our own side demonize young white men. Okay, your team, governor, made an obviously intentional
00:12:20.380decision to not depict a more statistically representative welfare leech, which as you know,0.95
00:12:25.680would be a black single mom. Can you explain why you made that decision? Don't pretend it wasn't0.84
00:12:32.380a decision. It might fool Joel Berry. It's not going to fool the rest of us. Don't pretend that
00:12:38.000it wasn't a deliberate decision where you've got consultants and marketing people, you're sitting
00:12:42.120around in it, trying to decide who is going to be the villain in this ad. Don't pretend it wasn't
00:12:48.500deliberately decided, oh yeah, well, that's got to be a white. There's no way we're putting a black1.00
00:12:52.360guy in that position. You're insulting our intelligence. Can you explain why there's no1.00
00:13:02.780way in hell, no way in a million years you would ever produce that kind of ad with any other group
00:13:08.380as the villain? Can you tell us why? If you don't want to explain it because it's precisely the
00:13:17.300answer we already know, then again, at least don't insult our intelligence by pretending you don't
00:13:23.120understand the point we're making. Now, you certainly know that we aren't upset about work
00:13:29.560requirements for welfare. I mean, Republican voters support work requirements generally,
00:13:34.020where people have to demonstrate that they're trying to find a job before they get benefits.
00:13:37.700Really, many of us want to go much further than that. Speaking for myself, at least, I don't know
00:13:42.860what the numbers are with Republicans generally. Speaking for myself, I'd like to eliminate food
00:13:46.580stamps entirely. I'm more anti-welfare leeches than you are, Governor, a lot more. I'd say get
00:13:54.480rid of the whole thing. The SNAP program has no reason to exist. It's the single easiest welfare
00:13:58.800program to defraud. And that's obviously saying something. And it's built on a faulty premise,
00:14:04.080which is that millions of Americans need free food or else they'll starve. That's just not true.
00:14:09.940It's a fantasy. It's not true. Nobody in America is at a risk of starvation. We're all going to die.
00:14:16.580You know, we're at risk of many different kinds of physical calamities, but starvation is not going to be the thing that takes any of us out.
00:14:27.080Americans are, by orders of magnitude, pun intended, more likely to die from eating too much than too little.
00:14:34.640As the Wall Street Journal reported this year, quote, America doesn't have a hunger problem.
00:14:39.000About three quarters of adult food stamp beneficiaries are overweight or obese.
00:15:07.800I mean, you can make a much more compelling case for distributing taxpayer-funded Ozempic
00:15:11.800than for food stamps. Not that I'd be in favor of that, but the point still stands. And if anyone
00:15:18.600doesn't, you know, does need help accessing food, they have about 10 other welfare programs that
00:15:24.160they can draw money from, not to mention private charities and soup kitchens and food pantries
00:15:28.480and so on and so on. And that's why if you spend five minutes on TikTok, you'll find that
00:15:33.920food stamp recipients are generally obese and highly entitled. They're also bragging about
00:15:40.600making plates and selling them on the street using their food stamp money watch i'm gonna tell
00:15:46.680y'all straight up like this i just got that text that the link is definitely cut the off for
00:15:52.620november um y'all better stay the out of my way in these stores i'm walking out with cars and i'm
00:15:57.520not paying for um trump if you won't um oh it's gonna happen before my kids go broken like jock
00:16:06.240i'm gonna be stealing like it ain't no tomorrow i am going to go in that store get everything i
00:16:13.260get regularly i'm going to bag my up swipe my link across who's that say ain't no pendant
00:16:19.160balance on there i'm going to walk the out i'm going to try the strawberry kiwi
00:16:28.260Mm. Yeah. A hundred out of ten. A hundred out of ten. Come on, now. Watch me.
00:16:41.760I don't know nobody selling no crime out of me, bud. Tell them about putting that work in, bud. It really did crack. Told you. Told you. Now I'll show you.
00:16:50.700Now, this is the kind of fraud that would be worth depicting in a political ad.
00:16:57.560It would actually resonate with voters because it's really happening, and it's costing us tens of billions of dollars every single year.
00:17:04.480Well, you know, there are many different figures floating around on social media about how different groups collect welfare at different rates.
00:17:11.020We're not going to take their word for it, but unfortunately, calculating the exact number of people on welfare is complicated, and the government makes it difficult to do so.
00:17:18.040and um you know that may be partly intentional after all if america america's welfare programs
00:17:24.760are really distributing wealth from people of one color to people of another then you know they
00:17:30.760wouldn't really want us to know that another reason is that welfare is a patchwork of dozens
00:17:34.600of different programs some administered by the federal government and some by the state
00:17:38.420some like what huckabee is talking about in her ad are federal programs administered
00:17:42.400by the state so to keep things neat we'll focus on one of the biggest programs snap which provides
00:17:47.640food assistance, as we know, to low-income people. This report on the SNAP program is the most recent
00:17:55.920government statistic published last month by the Department of Agriculture. On page 75,
00:18:01.480breaks down SNAP recipients by race and demographics. And according to the data,
00:18:06.140about 40.1 million Americans are on SNAP, which is a ridiculously high number already.
00:18:12.960We're supposed to believe that 40 million Americans would not be able to eat without
00:18:18.940taxpayer assistance. That's what we're supposed to believe. That's just under 12% of the population.
00:18:26.760About one in eight people. One in eight people are not capable of feeding themselves
00:18:33.020in a first world civilized country, is what we're supposed to believe.0.96
00:18:38.880Now, according to the official government data, 35% of SNAP recipients are white, despite them being almost 60% of the population.
00:18:49.660So that is wildly disproportionate in the sense that non-Hispanic whites are using welfare much less often than the other groups.
00:18:59.780Black Americans make up roughly 25% of SNAP recipients, despite being 14% of the population.
00:19:05.920Again, wildly disproportionate in the opposite direction, wildly overrepresented on the welfare
00:19:12.340rolls. Hispanics are 16% of SNAP recipients and are 20% of the population. So if you're going to
00:19:18.660pick any group that represents kind of the standard welfare recipient or represents a group that is0.96
00:19:26.400the most likely to be on welfare, whites are the last group you should pick of the three
00:19:32.880major American racial categories. Women are also 55% of the SNAP recipients, despite being 50.5%
00:19:40.800of the population. So if you're going to pick a typical welfare recipient, it'd be a woman,0.98
00:19:46.040not a man. In fact, based on these numbers, non-Hispanic white men aged 18 to 35 are among
00:19:51.600the least likely to be on welfare at all at around 5% of total recipients. And I suspect that even
00:19:59.620that might be a massive overcount. But it's a vanishingly small group. So to recap, the Sarah
00:20:06.100Huckabee Sanders team is going out of its way to demonize one of the few demographics in the1.00
00:20:11.740country who are actually net contributors to the U.S. economy. And that may not have been the
00:20:17.460conscious motive. They might not have sat in a room and said, let's figure out a way to demonize
00:20:23.280white men, although maybe they did. The conscious motive was more likely to simply avoid offending
00:20:29.080racial minorities, in particular, black women. And that's exactly what makes the decision so0.99
00:20:35.260ludicrous. Okay, this is a demographic. When they're trying to decide, well, who would we0.87
00:20:41.180rather risk offending? Which racial group? And they always decide, oh, well, you know, white men.
00:20:46.060Again, that's the Joel Berry approach. That's unjustifiable morally, also politically,
00:20:54.900strategically, it makes no sense. You know, in particular, black women are a demographic that1.00
00:21:02.060overwhelmingly votes Democrat in every single election. I mean, overwhelmingly, something like
00:21:08.24092% of black women supported Kamala Harris. 95% went for Joe Biden. 94% went for Hillary in 2016.
00:21:18.04096% went for Obama. You can't find a single election where black women supported Republicans0.99
00:21:23.580to any significant degree, never mind a majority.0.99
00:23:41.480Their formula is built around ingredients that have been studied for their ability to support healthy testosterone levels naturally.
00:23:47.680There are no synthetic hormones or weird stimulants, and it's made in the USA and third-party tested.
00:23:53.880The point isn't to pretend that you're 20 years old forever.
00:23:56.560The point is that if something has changed, you should probably pay attention to it rather than automatically accepting that this is simply how you're supposed to feel now.

00:24:36.000So to be clear about this, Sarah Huckabee Sanders does not oppose the idea of SNAP in general, we should note.
00:24:41.800A year ago, she publicly advocated to ban SNAP for junk food, which is a good policy.
00:24:48.100But at the same time, she demanded that the federal government allow people to buy hot rotisserie chickens with their SNAP benefits.
00:24:55.580And her stated reason was that she wanted people to be healthier, even though there's already plenty of healthy foods that people can buy with SNAP if they want to.
00:25:03.980especially if they're willing to cook their own food, which they should, watch.
00:25:11.620Right now you can use food stamps to buy a soft drink or a candy bar from a gas station,
00:25:16.780but you can't use them to buy an Arkansas-raised hot rotisserie chicken from a grocery store.
00:25:25.300Governor Sanders says she's acting because America is facing a chronic disease epidemic,
00:25:30.580with millions of Americans struggling with obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.
00:25:36.480She says one-third of all Arkansans have diabetes or are pre-diabetic.
00:25:41.560When the numbers are that high, it's important for us to examine a system
00:25:45.780that actively encourages and subsidizes unhealthy, highly processed, addictive products.
00:25:53.920Now, the honest explanation for what's going on here is that it's corporate welfare.
00:25:57.580And some of the biggest corporations in Arkansas, Walmart, Tyson, Sam's Clubs, Kroger, and so on, sell hot rotisserie chickens.
00:26:03.800If Sanders was able to secure an exemption allowing people to buy these chickens with SNAP benefits, it would be a very big deal for all these big grocery stores.
00:26:11.180In general, SNAP isn't allowed to be spent on prepared foods since it's supposed to be an absolute last resort.
00:26:17.000It's supposed to help people get the essentials that they can prepare at home.
00:26:21.440But she wanted an exemption which would benefit companies like Walmart.
00:26:24.900And as you probably guessed, the Walton family, which owns Walmart, are major donors to Sarah
00:26:29.440Sanders and her various initiatives. The Waltons were some of the largest individual donors to
00:26:34.420Sanders' campaign. Jim Walton sent half a million dollars to an education-focused group that employed
00:26:40.040Sanders' campaign manager, Chris Caldwell, in a high-level position. So is that what this is
00:26:47.600about? Who knows, but it doesn't look good. And if we really want those dastardly 20-year-old
00:26:53.080gamers to get off the couch and find a job and stop bilking the welfare rolls, all like five or
00:26:58.580six of them who are doing that. Why exactly should we be paying for them to eat hot rotisserie
00:27:04.040chickens from Walmart? Why don't we tell this mostly fictional group of welfare recipients to
00:27:09.180eat rice and beans every day until they finally put the controller back down and go to work?
00:27:15.740Hot rotisserie chickens taste good. It's the kind of food people can eat every night,
00:27:19.780and it's very convenient. And that's the opposite of the kind of food that we want to give people
00:27:26.780for free. You want to give the bare minimum. You want there to be some effort involved if
00:27:31.220you're going to do this at all, which I don't think you should. Since again, virtually all
00:27:35.100welfare recipients are already overweight. And also the idea is to motivate people to not to,
00:27:40.720this should not be a lifestyle choice. If you're going to have a system like this,
00:27:44.720which for the umpteenth time you shouldn't, it should be a last resort, a stop along the way
00:27:51.380to you getting your life back together. And by the way, if Sarah Sanders were truly concerned
00:27:57.760about the plight of young white men, not to take a total detour here, but she'd be talking about
00:28:02.900the rise of mobile sports gambling in her state, which the government legalized just a few years
00:28:08.280ago. In 2019, in Arkansas, a total of $11 million was wagered on sports, according to the Arkansas
00:28:13.660state government. And then they legalized betting on smartphones and everything changed. And by
00:28:18.5202025, more than $655 million was being wagered in a single year in Arkansas. This year, more than
00:28:25.540$2.5 million is wagered on sports in Arkansas every day. It's a massive financial problem for
00:28:31.440young men in the state. Instead of investing in their own retirement or a home, many of them
00:28:36.820making extremely risky bets on their phone. And mostly without realizing it, they're playing a
00:28:41.940rigged game. The sports books go to great lengths to ban anyone who wins too much.
00:28:48.100Has the governor of Arkansas said anything about this? As far as I could tell, she hasn't.
00:28:51.900She's allowed gambling to proliferate instead. In fact, the Arkansas Racing Commission just
00:28:56.220approved a petition from casinos to partner with all the major national sports betting apps
00:29:00.780to expand access to gambling even further. We're told not to worry about any of this. We're supposed
00:29:05.880to, you know, mock the unemployed white guy living in his mom's basement. We're not supposed0.90
00:29:11.520to criticize the sports books in any way. And while we're at it, we're supposed to, you know,
00:29:15.700pay for everyone to buy chickens at Walmart. It's not really a coherent message. And politically,
00:29:21.800it's catastrophic. It's the kind of messaging you get when a political party wants to lose
00:29:26.100or at least doesn't know how to not lose. What's interesting here is that Sarah Huckabee Sanders,0.78
00:29:33.360far from the only Republican who's pushing the message that white people are lazy degenerates,0.98
00:29:37.820you know, she's far from the only one to do that. This is a common message from Republicans.0.98
00:29:42.000Here's the Speaker of the House, along with his deputy, Steve Scalise.
00:29:45.580These are clips from 2025, for example.
00:30:08.180And by the way, we find dignity in our work.
00:30:09.900That's going to be good for everybody.
00:30:11.520We're actually cutting spending in this bill, getting rid of a lot of waste, fraud, and abuse, putting work requirements, for example, in a program like Medicaid so that the truly disabled and needy will be able to get better access to Medicaid because those able-bodied adults who are turning down work, the 35-year-old who's sitting at his mom's basement playing video games, is going to have to go get a job again.
00:30:33.280Those are going to be good things for the economy, but it's also something that helps reduce waste, fraud and abuse and saves hundreds of billions of dollars in those programs.
00:30:47.260So. I know I'm being insecure, apparently, even though, you know, here's the thing.
00:30:55.200I'm I am a white guy, but I don't quite quite infamously.
00:31:01.180I'm, I'm, I don't play video games. I'm not a big, I'm not a big gamer at all. And, uh, I don't live
00:31:06.760in my mom's basement. So, uh, there's no reason for me to take this kind of thing personally.
00:31:12.640And I don't take it personally, but I, I do object to it because it's just not,
00:31:18.040this is not the problem. Okay. When, when, when we think about all the people that we're spending
00:31:24.180billions and billions of billions of dollars, we're forking over billions of dollars to leeches
00:31:30.360and parasites who are just living off the government as a lifestyle, these are not0.88
00:31:37.300men in their 20s playing video games for the most part. That is a minuscule fraction of the problem.0.95
00:31:47.920You could kick every 20-plus-year-old white gamer in his mom's basement off of the welfare rolls,
00:31:55.860kick them all off in one fell swoop, it would make basically no difference.0.85
00:32:02.960That can be like a thimble of water being taken out of the ocean.
00:32:07.980But this is the go-to talking point on the right. The people who are
00:32:11.140sucking up the welfare dollars aren't black women or Somalis or Venezuelans or anything like that.1.00
00:32:17.740The real enemy, we're told, is gamers in their mother's basement. Young white males named Brad1.00
00:32:22.640who are playing with their virtual reality headsets on the sofa.0.83
00:32:34.660And Republicans are either unable or unwilling to see it.
00:32:37.440They're paying enormous sums of money to consultants
00:32:39.280who are telling them to go to war with their own voters.
00:32:42.820Meanwhile, back in reality, again, women are more likely to be on welfare than men0.52
00:32:47.760and black people are more likely to be on welfare than white people, significantly so.
00:32:52.640So the number of single young white male brads abusing the welfare system is minuscule, practically non-existent.0.99
00:33:01.060And yet Republicans don't have the balls to do this ad with Shaniqua as the villain.0.97
00:33:06.260Even though that would actually be an accurate portrayal of the problem at hand.0.99
00:33:10.640Summer has one major advantage, which is that everyone collectively lowers their standards for how they're supposed to dress.0.95
00:33:17.360Shorts, T-shirts, whatever shoes happen to be closest to the door for three months.
00:33:22.360Apparently, all of this is acceptable or so some people think.
00:33:27.100But now fall is here, which means it's time to start dressing like an adult again.
00:33:31.720And this is actually the perfect season for Tecovas.
00:33:34.200I have a few pairs of Tecovas and they're exactly the kind of thing that I want this time of year or really any time of year.
00:33:39.820They're simple, classic leather boots that look great with jeans and you can wear them casually or dress them up without looking like you're trying particularly hard.
00:35:20.300They build up an entire mythology around their favored voters, particularly black women,0.99
00:35:26.700even though it's transparent nonsense.0.96
00:35:28.620So here's just for example, and this was tweeted out today or this week,
00:35:33.220so it's a really interesting contrast.
00:35:35.940Here's Ayanna Pressley, who represents Massachusetts in Congress.
00:35:39.620Keep in mind how Republicans talk about young white males.
00:35:45.320Here's Anna Presley talking about black women.1.00
00:35:47.780Quote, black women are the backbone of our economy, and we all benefit from their essential contributions to our workforce and communities.1.00
00:35:56.340By pushing black women out of our economy, everyone is being denied their brilliance and intellectual capital.
00:36:03.880And then she posted this video where she elaborates on her grand thesis.0.92
00:36:09.620A thesis that's, by the way, and we'll get into this, but wrong on every level.1.00
00:36:14.740It's wrong to say that black women are the backbone of the economy.1.00
00:36:26.780The exact opposite is happening and has been happening for decades.0.99
00:36:31.140Every institution goes out of its way to change the rules, to change the hiring process, to hire as many black women as they possibly can.0.56
00:36:45.460But anyway, here's Ayanna Pressley describing this fantasy in greater detail. Listen.
00:36:51.240With the so-called reckless actions of the Department of Government efficiency that took a sledgehammer to the infrastructure of our federal government,1.00
00:37:01.140If you process a FAFSA application of the Department of Education, it was probably a black woman doing that.0.99
00:37:08.140If somebody in your family was preyed upon by a predatory financial product that got scammed, if they got justice, it was probably a black woman at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.0.99
00:37:17.140If your fair housing laws were being enforced at Housing and Urban Development, it was a black woman doing that.0.98
00:37:22.140If your public health was being protected at Health and Human Services, it was likely a black woman doing that.1.00
00:37:27.140you know and i could go on so this is disruptive of livelihoods and lives but this is devastating0.88
00:37:33.360for everyone that they are being denied the brilliance and the intellectual capital of black
00:37:39.720women now by the way i don't get this doesn't make me angry when i see this kind of thing i
00:37:46.920hear this it's total nonsense it's a complete fantasy but i get why they're doing it i mean
00:37:52.200it's a smart strategy. As we just said, black women are like 92% vote for Democrats at a rate
00:37:58.920of 92%, 95%. Your most loyal voters. I mean, black women as a demographic are more loyal to0.99
00:38:10.020Democrats than any demographic has been loyal to any party ever. I mean, this is, it's unheard of
00:38:16.10095%. Again, that's where your bread is buttered. And so you talk them up. You have nothing but
00:38:26.380positive things to say about this group that votes for us at a clip of 95%. I get why they're
00:38:33.100doing it strategically. But again, it's false. Now, she's talking about the intellectual capital
00:38:40.180of black women and how we should all be in awe of their brilliance. And as evidence of this claim,
00:38:44.740she lists a bunch of federal government agencies that employ black women as bureaucrats doing0.99
00:38:48.900mostly routine and unremarkable government work. She literally says that black women are1.00
00:38:54.860processing applications for student financial aid as if we're supposed to sit back in awe1.00
00:38:58.920at the brilliance it takes to, oh, they processed an application.
00:39:06.580That's like building a rocket. Move over, Elon Musk.
00:39:09.400sure you build a rocket ship but uh can you process an application
00:39:15.800i mean yeah you could definitely do that you're a business owner so you process
00:39:20.380you know paperwork all the time but still0.99
00:39:22.420what's next did a black woman give someone a parking ticket1.00
00:39:26.820maybe successfully stamp an envelope at the post office0.95
00:39:30.640so we're all supposed to be impressed here but all that presley is demonstrating
00:39:35.880is what is actually true, which is that black women hold a disproportionate number of government
00:39:40.940jobs, which is really a barely disguised form of welfare, which is designed to minimize0.98
00:39:46.520humiliation while maximizing payouts to black women.0.99
00:39:50.940There's a reason why only around 2% of black women in the workforce are employed in the1.00
00:39:56.300fields of science or engineering, while around 22% are employed in roles involving the government,
00:40:00.800jumping to over 30% when you include roles in nonprofits and public administration.
00:40:07.200Then if you add EBT and all other forms of welfare, you end up with a hugely, vastly disproportionate
00:40:14.080number of black women who are on the public dole in one form or another, more than any other single
00:40:20.940demographic in the country, and it's not close. Now, everything that Democrats say and that Ayanna
00:40:27.040Presley says about black women, about how they built the country, they're essential to the0.88
00:40:30.940economy, the country would collapse without them, and so on, is actually true of white men.
00:40:38.780Now, it's not statistically or historically true of black women.0.78
00:40:43.440I'm sorry, there's just no actual evidence to support the backbone of the economy claim.1.00
00:40:48.820And she didn't even say like, they're one of the back, I mean, you only get one backbone,
00:40:53.180but they're part of the backbone of the economy or they're, you know, an essential ingredient in
00:40:59.780the overall. She wasn't even saying they're one of the important instruments in the symphony of.
00:41:05.800No, she said the backbone, the backbone of the economy. And that is pure mythology.
00:41:15.720Not true. I mean, the fact is that if black women got sick and tired of being so oppressed0.67
00:41:20.880and persecuted by our horrible country and all decided to book JetBlue tickets and leave for
00:41:25.820greener pastures tomorrow, there's no statistical data-based reason to think that it would bring
00:41:34.240America to its knees, as Ayanna Pressley claims. Now, if white men were to all leave, though I'm0.81
00:41:40.740not really sure where we would go, it would, without question, cripple our society overnight.
00:41:47.480That's the reality. And if white men never came here in the first place, there would be no country.0.63
00:41:56.180If white men never came here in the first place, this country would not be a country. It would be0.99
00:42:01.500a landmass only populated by primitive tribes, most of whom still would not have invented the0.98
00:42:09.200wheel. Again, that's just a fact. And yet no elected Republican on the national stage,0.99
00:42:15.120and I really mean none of them, not a single one would ever get up on stage and say about white
00:42:24.520men what Ayanna Pressley and every Democrat says every day about black women. No Republican,
00:42:32.980not Sarah Huckabee Sanders or anyone else, none of them, even the ones that we think are, you know,
00:42:39.240kind of based, kind of, you know, kind of right wing. Even them, they are not going to get up and
00:42:46.500say, quote, white men are the backbone of our economy and we all benefit from their essential
00:42:52.140contributions to our workforce and communities. By pushing white men out of our economy,
00:42:56.880everyone is denied their brilliance and intellectual capital. No Republican will ever say that.
00:43:05.300even though it's true on every point. It's obviously not racist to say. It's just a true
00:43:14.480thing about this particular group that is essential to the country currently and historically
00:43:23.420in a way that no other group is. It's true. It's true that they're the backbone of the economy.
00:43:33.060It's true that their contributions are essential. It's true that they're being pushed out of the
00:43:38.180economy. Yet this is not a truth that will be explicitly acknowledged by any of our so-called
00:43:45.620representatives. The most that some of them might do, maybe, is to speak glowingly about
00:43:52.980the wonderful ways that various groups contribute to American culture and then include white men
00:43:58.920in that list. But most of them won't even do that. And they certainly won't say anything
00:44:06.100uniquely positive about white men. They'll say it about every other group. They would0.52
00:44:14.580never say that about white men. Again, we all know that. If you pretend you don't know
00:44:20.780that, you're insulting our intelligence. We all know that's true. Should we just accept
00:44:26.020that? Should we surrender ourselves to this state of affairs? Should we just learn to love or at
00:44:32.640least accept without complaint the idea that white men can only be condemned but never praised?
00:44:37.820Should we even sit back silently while the insulting stereotypes rightfully earned by
00:44:42.560other demographic groups are put around our neck instead? Should we just allow ourselves to be the
00:44:49.160kind of like sacrificial goats of modern Western society, saddled with the sins of the village
00:44:59.800My answer to that is not only no, but hell no.
00:45:04.280And that should be the answer we all give.
00:45:06.540It should be the answer the Republican Party gives.0.87
00:45:10.060That will only happen if they start by getting rid of all their communications consultants,1.00
00:45:13.840particularly the girl bosses and the DEI hires,0.97
00:45:17.000and replace them with people who understand why they won the last election
00:45:20.420and why they're currently on pace to lose the next one.
00:45:24.300Instead of running a demoralization campaign against your own voters, try something productive.
00:45:33.860And that goes beyond rhetoric. I mean, yeah, it wouldn't kill you to every once in a while say something positive about your own base.
00:45:44.800It wouldn't kill you. Maybe once every 100 years, maybe you might do that.
00:45:49.540But it goes beyond that. What about suspending the H-1B program, or shutting down SNAP entirely, or launching a civil rights investigation into every government agency that has deliberately refused to hire white men as a matter of policy, spoken or unspoken?0.54
00:46:06.920Maybe take a single concrete step to improve the lives of white Americans instead of mocking them.0.66
00:46:16.940that's one way you can have some chance of actually staying in power assuming you actually
00:46:23.300want to the white men did not simply build the united states they also built the republican
00:46:29.360party and without them this party as we know it will cease to exist in very short order
00:46:37.880i'll do it for the show today thanks for watching thanks for listening talk to you
