00:00:30.000 On Friday, we will premiere our new special, The Real History of Communism, The Russian Revolution, on YouTube.
00:00:36.860 And we're making it available for free because it's too important to paywall.
00:00:40.920 As the elections approach, it's more important than ever to understand how and why the left takes power and what we can do to prevent it.
00:00:49.480 Pre-Bolshevik Russia seems far away.
00:00:53.860 It's not. You'll actually recognize it quite a bit when you see the special.
00:00:57.420 But for now, speaking of Russia, we need to talk about the bizarre and maybe Soviet-style disappearance of James Tallarico,
00:01:05.900 the very creepy heretic who, if polls are to be believed, is favored to become the first Democrat senator from Texas in nearly four decades. 0.73
00:01:15.160 So here's the timeline. It gets a little confusing, so we'll just lay it out. 0.93
00:01:19.000 On September 26th, which was a Saturday, Tallarico held a news conference on gas prices and the war in Iran in Carrollton, Texas.
00:01:28.280 He also attended the State Fair of Texas later that day.
00:01:31.700 Tallarico then reportedly attended a fundraiser on September 28th in New York with Robert De Niro.
00:01:37.820 There's no clear evidence that he was there in person.
00:01:41.220 It's all based on claims from the campaign since it was a private event.
00:01:44.340 And on September 30th, Tallarico was scheduled to participate in an in-person interview with the CEO of the United States Hispanic Business Council.
00:01:52.380 But he attended via Zoom instead, claiming he had the flu, even though, as the moderator at the event pointed out, he looked fine.
00:02:01.640 Watch.
00:02:03.140 They will tell you that I was looking forward to being down in the valley.
00:02:07.360 I've been talking about it all week.
00:02:08.980 I was ready to eat my favorite quesadilla tacos, but I was starting to feel kind of
00:02:17.660 under the weather a few days ago, and last night it got so bad that I went to the urgent
00:02:22.980 care here in Dallas, and I was diagnosed with the flu, and so I'm running a fever, and I'm
00:02:30.640 my most contagious right now, and I guess I've been shaking too many hands on the campaign
00:02:37.180 trail uh and so i uh i want to keep everybody safe and uh you know if something if i was passing
00:02:43.420 on this illness to somebody and got someone's grandmother or someone's baby sick uh i wouldn't
00:02:49.680 live with couldn't live with myself so um i thought the best thing to do was to put safety first and
00:02:56.220 and put everyone's health first uh so thank you javier thank you to your team for being so flexible
00:03:01.460 and and uh and thank you all for making the technology work so we can still have this
00:03:06.160 this really important conversation um that i've been looking forward to well we're delighted
00:03:10.800 we're delighted to have you james um you know and you know and then when we talk we talk to
00:03:17.240 by the way you look a hell of a lot better right now um but i'll i don't know if i feel better
00:03:22.260 but i appreciate that you cleaned up you cleaned up okay so and we'll leave aside the fact that
00:03:29.740 you know it's i mean it is interesting that he uh so where he went to a fundraiser in new york
00:03:34.020 with Robert De Niro, and then he's speaking to the Hispanic Business Council. So that kind of
00:03:37.460 shows you his priorities, what he's worried about as a Democrat senatorial candidate. No surprise
00:03:43.960 there. But anyway, make a mental note of how he said he went to urgent care in Dallas, because
00:03:50.520 that's going to be important in a second as we are trying to solve this puzzle. But first,
00:03:55.740 putting aside the question of his health, it needs to be said that this has to be one of the
00:03:59.380 most patronizing and phony candidates to ever run for office in this country, which is obviously
00:04:05.740 really saying something. But just by looking at him, you can tell that if he thought it would
00:04:10.520 help him win this race, Jim Salarico would not hesitate to sacrifice your elderly grandmother
00:04:15.460 to the gods, Aztec style. Like no one's buying the idea that this guy made the decision out of
00:04:21.220 the goodness of his heart to self-quarantine just a couple of weeks before early voting begins in
00:04:25.120 one of the most important elections of the year. We're supposed to believe that he couldn't live
00:04:28.720 with himself if he infected a random person with, what, a head cold? And that's the other problem
00:04:33.500 in the video. In the video, he comes across as someone who's kind of congested. Whatever fever
00:04:39.480 he has is obviously seems a pretty mild one. This event lasted an hour, and for the entire thing,
00:04:44.520 he was answering questions without any issues. This is why he felt the need to explicitly state
00:04:49.320 that he's very sick and that he's trying to protect innocent men, women, and children
00:04:52.140 from his horrific illness. If he didn't spell it out for everyone in that way, nobody would have
00:04:57.680 any idea that he's sick. Even the moderator of the event seemed confused by the whole thing.
00:05:01.340 And then he claims he's at his most contagious during that event, which means that he shouldn't
00:05:06.320 be much sicker than he currently is. You know, that should be the point where the fever kind
00:05:10.620 of breaks, where things start going in the other direction. He starts improving and he kind of
00:05:14.760 gets back to normal in a couple of days, but that's not what happened. So after this virtual
00:05:18.080 event, Tellarico fell off the map completely. He didn't appear at a single in-person campaign event
00:05:23.980 from October 1st to October 8th.
00:05:26.180 He was scheduled to appear at a fundraiser
00:05:27.840 and a symposium,
00:05:29.180 but he backed out of both of those.
00:05:31.260 And meanwhile, Tallarico's extended absence,
00:05:33.460 as you'd expect,
00:05:34.780 was making his campaign volunteers nervous.
00:05:36.880 On October 7th,
00:05:37.920 one of the leaders of Tallarico's volunteer operation,
00:05:41.020 Alex Balderas,
00:05:42.940 posted the following message on Slack.
00:05:44.680 This was reported by the New York Post.
00:05:47.160 It says, quote,
00:05:48.120 I suppose spokesman JT Ennis,
00:05:50.300 who works on the campaign,
00:05:51.780 should come out and update on James' health,
00:05:53.600 conservatives doubting he's sick, but conservatives leaving out the important part. James is diabetic.
00:05:58.500 That's why it's taking a while for recovery. So basically conservatives and Paxton are being very
00:06:03.260 immoral. In a separate post, Balderas wrote, I think it'll be fine. It's just conservatives
00:06:08.480 blasting him. I'm just worried about him losing momentum. Now it's true that Tallarico has said
00:06:13.940 that he has type 1 diabetes, which was reportedly diagnosed when he was running for the Texas house
00:06:19.300 in 2018. He claims he slept for 36 hours before going to the emergency room. I have no idea if
00:06:25.340 that story is true or not, but even if we assume it's accurate, it still doesn't come close to
00:06:28.940 explaining what's happening right now. First of all, as the volunteers noted, Tallarico's campaign
00:06:34.820 hasn't claimed that his absence is caused by his diabetes. And secondly, even if his diabetes is
00:06:40.220 making his recovery take a while, that still doesn't explain why he can't appear at all,
00:06:44.840 even for a Zoom call. By the morning of October 9th, after Tallarico had been missing
00:06:49.580 for the entire month, the LA mayoral candidate, Spencer Pratt, posted the following message
00:06:57.900 on social media. Quote, my sources are telling me Tallarico is in a mental health facility.
00:07:04.380 His campaign has stopped actively planning events and the vital homestretch of the campaign.
00:07:09.080 If this is true, this is actually a time to pray for Tallarico. As much as I don't want
00:07:13.080 Tallarico anywhere near government. I also don't want to wish him harm, and no political office is
00:07:17.720 worth having a breakdown. His awful advisors are at fault for this. They pushed him to be something
00:07:21.700 he isn't, and it didn't work. I'm praying that this isn't true, and he's okay. You want to win
00:07:26.360 these fights on the battlefield of ideas, not the minefield of poor health. Several other reporters,
00:07:32.660 including Sara Gonzalez at The Blaze, had posted messages suggesting they were working on a similar
00:07:37.040 scoop. Gonzalez, for example, wrote, I've received unverified information on James Tallarico's
00:07:41.380 whereabouts. If true, it will end his campaign. Within hours of Pratt's post, by the afternoon
00:07:47.020 of October 9th, Tallarico's campaign responded to all of this speculation. The campaign posted
00:07:52.900 this footage from the Austin City Limits, the music festival in Texas, showing Tallarico posing
00:08:00.300 for a photo with some supporters. And he looks normal, basically, as normal as he can look
00:08:06.600 for a weird freak, such as he is. This is nine days after the Zoom conference and 13 days since
00:08:14.060 his last documented in-person appearance in public. And instead of making any kind of statement or
00:08:19.960 formal appearance, you know, we get this footage here. But the mystery was not resolved. On October
00:08:25.980 10th, Caroline Wren, who's a prominent Republican operative, posted the following information on
00:08:31.100 social media. It says, quote, what are the chances that a private plane took off from Austin
00:08:36.500 and flew to tiny Hamilton Airport in Ohio,
00:08:39.740 which is 20 minutes from the Lindner Center,
00:08:42.960 a private inpatient mental health treatment facility,
00:08:45.480 and then turned around and flew back to Austin,
00:08:47.340 landing yesterday morning at 10.24 a.m.,
00:08:49.740 right before James Tellarico magically reappears
00:08:51.840 at the Austin City Limits Music Festival that afternoon.
00:08:55.220 Lindner Center also happens to be the same facility
00:08:58.080 that Tellarico's good friend and Harris County judge,
00:09:00.840 Lena Hidalgo, spent seven weeks in
00:09:03.720 when she had a mental breakdown three years ago.
00:09:06.500 Sarah Gonzalez reposted this reporting saying, quote, evidence is growing stronger by the day
00:09:12.440 that my sources were correct and Tallarico was in a mental health facility. Two days ago on the
00:09:18.100 evening of October 10th, the investigative journalist Nick Sorter and an associate named
00:09:23.540 Ryan Amacher decided to call the facility, the Lindner Center, directly to see what they could
00:09:30.420 find out. Now, under HIPAA laws, which protect patient privacy, a lot of people assume you can't
00:09:35.620 do this. After all, HIPAA is supposedly the reason we're not allowed to know anything about the
00:09:39.360 medications that mass shooters were taking. It's a privacy law so powerful that it blocks the public
00:09:45.160 from learning relevant information about mass murderers even after they're dead. But actually,
00:09:50.800 when it's not being used to protect mass shooters, HIPAA is pretty flimsy. You know, nothing prevents
00:09:56.640 a reporter from calling a mental health facility and asking whether a specific patient has been
00:10:01.840 discharged because HIPAA only applies to medical providers and HIPAA also doesn't prevent the
00:10:07.920 mental health facility from answering the question. Believe it or not, that's the way
00:10:12.240 the law works. According to HHS guidelines, the fact that a patient has been treated and released
00:10:16.720 can be considered directory information, so the hospital isn't required to keep it confidential
00:10:23.980 unless the patient specifies beforehand that he wants it to be confidential.
00:10:28.540 So under federal law, the hospital or mental health facility can disclose this information to anyone who asks whether or not the person is related to the patient.
00:10:38.200 As long as you ask for a specific patient by name, the hospital can tell you, it might not, but it can tell you whether he was discharged and, if applicable, what his condition is, you know, stable, critical, etc.
00:10:52.080 This is how, when someone prominent gets injured, you know, the media is able to report on their condition.
00:10:56.560 So with this law in mind, Sorter and Amacher called the Lindner Center near Cincinnati, Ohio, and asked about the status of James Tallarico.
00:11:07.180 They recorded the phone call on the night of October 10th, and this call went all over the internet.
00:11:11.980 Elon Musk and millions of others responded to it, so it was all over the place.
00:11:16.640 Millions and millions of views and listens.
00:11:19.760 And here it is.
00:11:22.320 Okay, so nothing for James Tallarico?
00:11:26.020 Okay.
00:11:26.560 It looks, well, this is what it's today.
00:11:38.300 It looks like she was discharged this evening.
00:11:42.040 That's why I don't have it.
00:11:44.100 Oh, he was discharged then?
00:11:46.320 Mm-hmm.
00:11:47.480 Okay.
00:11:48.200 And this is the Hope Linder?
00:11:48.820 They should be.
00:11:49.860 Okay.
00:11:50.300 I'm sorry.
00:11:50.980 I'm going to make sure you're at the right.
00:11:52.420 This is Hope Linder?
00:11:54.640 Yes.
00:11:55.140 Uh-huh.
00:11:56.040 Okay.
00:11:56.560 And you're in Hamilton, Ohio?
00:11:58.920 No, we're not in Hamilton.
00:12:00.440 Oh.
00:12:00.820 We're in Mason.
00:12:02.860 Okay.
00:12:03.520 So that's why he's on the system.
00:12:04.640 He's in Reset.
00:12:05.340 Okay.
00:12:06.380 All right.
00:12:06.900 Okay.
00:12:07.520 Thank you.
00:12:08.140 Thank you.
00:12:08.820 Bye-bye.
00:12:09.940 Okay, so the Tallarico campaign has denied that this call has anything to do with Tallarico,
00:12:14.140 and they're saying it's a deranged conspiracy theory to suggest that he was shipped away to any kind of mental health facility.
00:12:20.260 And to be fair, it's very possible that this call isn't what it seems like.
00:12:23.500 There are obvious red flags.
00:12:25.300 First of all, the woman at the Lindner Center clearly says that Tallarico was discharged that same day, October 10th.
00:12:30.620 But if that's true, it doesn't make sense with the timeline because Tallarico was spotted at the music festival on October 9th.
00:12:37.760 So that's a big problem. And just by itself, that means we can't take the call as definitive proof of anything.
00:12:42.600 And secondly, we don't have the full unedited phone call.
00:12:46.360 And that's a huge asterisk because it's possible this whole conversation was a miscommunication.
00:12:51.420 even from this excerpt, it sounds like the woman is implying that she can't find Tallarico in the
00:12:56.240 system and that by inference, that means he must have been discharged recently. But she could have
00:13:01.600 been basing that inference on the statements that a mocker was making in that call, which we can't 0.65
00:13:07.120 hear. Indeed, according to the Bulwark, the extent that you can trust them, quote, which isn't very
00:13:14.320 much, but this is what they say. We obtained the full six minute audio of the Lindner recording.
00:13:18.040 the employee there repeatedly denied anyone named James Tallarico was in her system at all.
00:13:23.300 Only towards the end did she say someone had checked out that day.
00:13:27.500 Okay, so it sounds like this woman at the facility maybe was browbeaten into claiming Tallarico was there.
00:13:33.520 And for his part, Amacher posted an earlier call that he had made to the facility,
00:13:37.180 which makes a couple of things more clear.
00:13:38.640 First, Amacher lied and claimed that he was Tallarico's relative.
00:13:42.100 And secondly, the hospital, maybe to comply with state law, does have more stringent privacy standards than HIPAA alone requires.
00:13:50.200 And in particular, they ask for some kind of code before they're willing to disclose any information about patients.
00:13:57.240 Listen.
00:13:59.460 Linder Center of Hope, the span.
00:14:01.880 Hi, I'm trying to reach my cousin James.
00:14:04.340 I don't know if he's checked out yet, but I was going to send him a letter in the mail.
00:14:08.920 I was just trying to, I don't know if he's still there.
00:14:12.120 He told me he was going to go there last week,
00:14:14.400 but I just don't know if I can send it to him yet
00:14:17.180 or still can send it.
00:14:20.860 Do you have a code?
00:14:23.280 A what?
00:14:24.500 A code.
00:14:26.080 I can't give you any information without a code.
00:14:30.020 Oh, no.
00:14:30.540 You should have had.
00:14:31.940 Oh, he didn't give me a code.
00:14:34.720 Okay.
00:14:37.340 Well, I really can't give you any information.
00:14:40.540 Okay.
00:14:41.120 Well, if I send it to him, I guess if he's not there, will it get bounced, or will it get bounced, or will he still accept it?
00:14:48.700 Yeah, well, if you send it to him, he would get it at home, if he's gone home.
00:14:58.460 Well, if he's there, he'll get it, but I'm saying if he's still not, I don't know if he's still there or not, will it get sent back to me?
00:15:05.920 It should be, yes.
00:15:07.780 Okay.
00:15:09.280 Okay.
00:15:09.680 All right.
00:15:10.480 I'm sorry.
00:15:11.120 That's all right.
00:15:11.800 Bye.
00:15:12.480 Bye. 0.85
00:15:15.320 Okay, so as for how a mocker eventually got this code,
00:15:20.240 he claims he eventually just made up a four-digit code
00:15:23.500 and they accepted it.
00:15:26.140 I don't know.
00:15:26.580 So is that how it works?
00:15:27.540 They ask for a code, you can just say anything
00:15:29.580 and that's fine.
00:15:32.320 The code is any four numbers at all, okay?
00:15:35.340 So there are a lot of unanswered questions here
00:15:37.120 and everyone involved has an incentive to lie
00:15:39.240 about where Tellurico really was.
00:15:41.880 Now, it's one of those kinds of situations.
00:15:43.460 Late last night, the Lindner Center put out the following statement after deflecting questions about Tallarico all day.
00:15:49.920 They said, quote, Representative James Tallarico has never received treatment from Lindner Center of Hope.
00:15:54.900 Okay, so that's a pretty definitive statement.
00:15:57.000 For his part, Tallarico then responded to this post from the facility saying he's never even been to Ohio.
00:16:02.180 So a couple of things about this.
00:16:03.440 Number one, it's very possible Tallarico and his campaign are hiding something.
00:16:08.000 We'll talk about that in a second.
00:16:09.320 We do have to concede that as for the mental health institution in Ohio, this looks an awful lot like a fraudulent story that was planted by GOP operatives.
00:16:19.000 Maybe they were right directionally, as people like to say.
00:16:22.560 There are reasons to think that there's something strange going on here.
00:16:25.280 But on the facts that were alleged in this particular case, this seems to be a massive overreach by a lot of people who on the right have been accurate, trusted reporters.
00:16:35.740 And that speaks to desperation among Republicans, including Republicans in Texas, who are seeing
00:16:42.420 Tallarico's numbers and panicking.
00:16:44.860 Healthy living has become unnecessarily complicated.
00:16:47.480 It's no longer enough to eat reasonably well, exercise, sleep, go about your life.
00:16:53.100 Now you're expected to optimize everything.
00:16:55.660 You need the perfect morning routine, the perfect supplement stack, the perfect workout,
00:17:00.400 the perfect sleep schedule.
00:17:02.120 You need an app to track all of it.
00:17:03.960 And then you need another app to track how often you check the first app.
00:17:08.180 Now, I'm not doing any of that.
00:17:09.700 I have a job.
00:17:10.680 I have a family.
00:17:11.660 I have, you know, I got stuff to do.
00:17:13.320 What I want are healthy habits that are simple enough to fit into a normal life.
00:17:17.560 And this is one reason I like Balance of Nature.
00:17:19.700 Their whole health system brings together 47 ingredients of real whole fruits, vegetable, 0.55
00:17:23.840 spices, and fibers.
00:17:24.700 The routine is straightforward.
00:17:26.360 You take three fruit capsules, three veggie capsules, and two scoops of fiber and spice.
00:17:31.020 That's it.
00:17:31.400 no binders, no fillers, no flow agents, no artificial colors or flavors. It's simple
00:17:35.640 enough that I can make it part of my routine without turning health into another full-time
00:17:39.240 occupation. And right now, Balance of Nature is giving my audience 35% off the first subscription
00:17:44.200 order. Go to balanceofnature.com, subscribe to the Whole Health System, use promo code Walsh for

00:17:57.580 The midterm elections are here, and if the DSA Democrats win, well, they'll push a radical
00:18:02.820 socials agenda and drown President Trump in endless investigations. We've seen their playbook
00:18:07.440 before. They tried impeaching him. They tried putting him in prison. We tried everything.
00:18:11.660 Don't let them win, because if we lose, they'll undo everything our movement has fought for. I
00:18:15.900 need you to vote early. You can bank your vote and fight back against the left's turnout machine.
00:18:20.660 Go to gopvotes.org right now and find out when you can vote. If you live in the critical Senate
00:18:26.180 battleground states of Maine, Ohio, or Iowa. Early voting is already underway this week.
00:18:31.440 Making your voice heard is easier than ever. You can get election reminders, look up your polling
00:18:36.100 location, and pick a date to vote early. Go to gopvotes.org today, paid for by SLF PAC,
00:18:41.940 not authorized by any candidate or candidates committee. And what we can say with certainty
00:18:47.220 is that it's extremely unusual for a candidate who, at all appearances, was not seriously ill
00:18:52.500 to disappear from the campaign trail at a pivotal moment for nearly two weeks.
00:18:57.900 Yesterday, Tallarico finally appeared for an interview
00:18:59.900 with a local news station to explain what happened, his version of it.
00:19:04.520 And he didn't really help matters, I would say. Watch.
00:19:08.940 You were off the campaign for more than a week, roughly nine days, I believe.
00:19:12.680 Your campaign said you had the flu. What happened?
00:19:15.200 Yeah, I got the flu, and I'm feeling much better,
00:19:18.060 and I'm glad I had a chance to recover.
00:19:19.920 If you don't take the opportunity to get well, sometimes you can get even sicker.
00:19:24.300 And so I'm glad we made the decision to just take the week, get better, and now I'm glad to be back on the trail.
00:19:31.180 You've talked about how you're a diabetic, and when diabetics get the flu, it can get really bad.
00:19:39.140 How bad was it for somebody who wants to know, is this just like in bed rest, or did you ever have to go to a doctor or a hospital?
00:19:45.100 I just went to my primary care physician, but it wasn't anything worse than a nasty case of the flu.
00:19:52.600 And so I was in bed and, you know, drinking lots of liquids.
00:19:55.980 Unfortunately, the campaign made me work from home, so I didn't even get full days off.
00:20:00.200 But, you know, didn't want to be out on the trail and didn't want to get anyone else sick.
00:20:03.240 It's important, I think, for leaders to be responsible in these moments.
00:20:06.560 And I'm glad to be back. I'm feeling much better.
00:20:09.040 I want to get your response because the Internet was...
00:20:12.020 The Internet's doing its thing.
00:20:13.080 The internet was invested in your outcome, right?
00:20:15.540 Yes, yes, yes.
00:20:16.040 I'm sure it's because they care so much about me.
00:20:20.380 Well, no, it's because you're clearly lying
00:20:22.560 and you people lie about everything.
00:20:24.420 So, and everything about this interview,
00:20:26.220 his demeanor and his answers
00:20:27.180 makes it seem more likely
00:20:29.260 that he's lying about something.
00:20:31.560 You know, he looks perfectly healthy, first of all.
00:20:33.600 If you just spent two weeks battling the flu,
00:20:35.680 an illness that left you bedridden,
00:20:37.780 unable to campaign for the most important election
00:20:39.720 of your life,
00:20:40.960 or even speak on a Zoom call,
00:20:42.600 then you simply don't look this healthy and normal when you go out in public. His weight
00:20:48.600 hasn't changed at all. It's bizarre. And it gets worse. He's now admitting on the record that he
00:20:54.480 didn't suffer some kind of severe diabetic complication or even a particularly unusual
00:20:58.980 bout of the flu. And most importantly, he contradicts what he said during that Zoom
00:21:03.640 meeting two weeks ago. Because remember, he said in the Zoom meeting that he went to urgent care
00:21:09.020 in dallas when his symptoms became severe but in this interview he said he went to his primary care
00:21:13.920 doctor so let's play that side by side here and last night it got so bad that i went to the
00:21:19.480 the urgent care here in dallas and uh and i was diagnosed with the flu how bad was it for somebody
00:21:25.860 who wants to know is this just like in bed rest or did you ever have to go to a doctor or hospital
00:21:30.400 i just went to my primary care physician uh but uh it wasn't anything uh worse than a you know
00:21:35.880 nasty case of the flu. Okay, so this is the kind of contradiction that by itself doesn't
00:21:43.080 necessarily mean much. People make mistakes, you know, saying primary care and then saying
00:21:48.260 urgent care and then saying primary care is not that, it's a contradiction. It's not that glaring
00:21:53.040 that someone couldn't have just been mistaken. But when you combine it with everything else,
00:21:58.140 including how utterly bizarre his disappearance was and how he's acting now, it seems more
00:22:02.540 significant. And also the, you know, look, rumors themselves don't prove anything. There could be
00:22:09.300 false rumors, but someone disappears from the campaign and then there's this rumor spreading
00:22:16.180 that they're in some kind of, having some kind of mental health crisis. You know, very often that
00:22:20.600 it doesn't, that doesn't come from nowhere. Sometimes rumors could just be invented out of
00:22:24.880 nowhere, but, but the fact that that rumor is spreading in the first place, it's kind of an
00:22:29.340 oddly specific thing, which makes you curious. And there's no doubt that James Tallarico is a
00:22:35.740 sociopathic liar, and it's a grave indictment of our country that he's anywhere near getting 0.97
00:22:40.140 elected to the U.S. Senate. And also, we know that the Democrat Party has a long history 0.97
00:22:46.560 and a recent history of lying about the health situation of candidates in really important
00:22:56.500 elections. Most obviously, Joe Biden. Fetterman is another example. So they do this and they've
00:23:05.020 done it very recently. They've done it in very high stakes situations. They told very brazen
00:23:08.580 lies about someone's health status. And so that also gets factored in here. Now, whether or not
00:23:15.320 he spent the last week in an asylum, just based on his public statements, the guy, even aside from
00:23:21.060 that, we already know should be institutionalized. He told Joe Rogan that the annunciation supported
00:23:25.400 as pro-abortion politics because God supposedly asked for Mary's consent. He thinks God is
00:23:33.520 non-binary. He called racism a virus that white people spread wherever we go. Maybe that's why 0.97
00:23:41.180 he went to urgent care and he left the campaign because he didn't want to spread the virus of
00:23:46.800 racism. I don't know. It could be it. He could have had a bout of racism that flared up and
00:23:50.580 And maybe that's what went on.
00:23:52.800 He was also oddly specific about the number of genders he claims scientists have identified.
00:23:57.340 Watch.
00:23:58.700 I want us all to be aware of is that that modern science obviously recognizes that there are many more than two biological sexes.
00:24:07.620 In fact, there are six, which honestly, Representative Hefner surprised me, too, surprised me, too, because I am not well versed in this this issue area.
00:24:17.980 I'm not a scientist. I'm a politician, a lot worse than a scientist.
00:24:23.380 Not a scientist. Well, yeah, we could have guessed. Six genders. So he's, you know,
00:24:29.320 obviously erasing the other 40, the other 46 that I think, I thought we were up to 52. I don't know.
00:24:37.700 It won't surprise you, given how strange this guy is, that a lot of his online support is
00:24:42.960 fraudulent. This is from the New York Times, an outlet that, you know, you'd think would be
00:24:46.360 friendly to Tallarico, and nonetheless, they reported this, quote, the Times found dozens of
00:24:50.260 accounts on TikTok that were paid $4 per 1,000 views to post positive clips about Mr. Tallarico,
00:24:58.360 according to a job posting and online records of creators who accepted the job. Mr. Tallarico's
00:25:02.640 campaign said it was not involved in paying creators. The company claiming responsibility
00:25:06.720 for the payments, Frontier Media, could not be reached for comment. This is now a feature of
00:25:12.260 American politics. And to be fair, it's happening on all sides to some degree. But this election
00:25:19.540 cycle has involved a massive new influx in dark money, which is to say, untraceable money from
00:25:25.660 unknown donors that's benefiting leftist radicals who want to destroy the country. This is from a
00:25:31.440 report in the Wall Street Journal over the weekend, quote, in Michigan this year, a new super PAC
00:25:36.440 vowing to fight pro-Israel money chipped in more than half a million dollars
00:25:40.760 till progressive Abdul Al-Sayed's Senate bid. Its funders, a crew of virtually unknown political
00:25:47.720 donors, many of whom had never given to politics before last year, but have since donated up to a
00:25:53.040 million dollars each. In New York, billionaire Alex Soros cut checks directly to progressive
00:25:58.000 politicians, including Representative Pramila Jayapal of Washington and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
00:26:02.640 Those donations are part of the millions of dollars that Soros and his father, George, plan to give the Democratic causes this year.
00:26:09.440 And in Philadelphia, nearly a million dollars in TV advertising paid for by outside groups is boosting Democratic socialist Chris Rabb,
00:26:16.960 highlighting his endorsement from New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and his willingness to fight for Medicare for all.
00:26:23.760 So we have no idea who they are, but some unknown donors are pumping $500,000 into Abdul Al-Sayed's Senate campaign and other campaigns as well.
00:26:35.460 And incidentally, Al-Sayed happens to be related to people with very close connections to the Muslim Brotherhood, which is a terrorist organization.
00:26:43.960 Watch.
00:26:45.460 Abdul Al-Sayed's candidacy for senator in Michigan concerns you?
00:26:50.220 Yes, sir, it does.
00:26:51.240 Why is that?
00:26:51.780 Well, to begin with, I look at the connections that his father-in-law, Jakaku Tayyib, has to Brotherhood-linked groups.
00:27:00.100 This includes being the president at one time of CARE Michigan, also his presence on the Islamic Society of North America Founders Committee,
00:27:08.400 which is only for those most exclusively devoted to ISNA and provide a significant amount of funding.
00:27:14.540 There are other known Brotherhood members on that committee.
00:27:16.940 I would also look at El Saeed's ties to a group called M-Gage, which purports to be a Muslim sort of get-out-the-vote or candidate recruitment organization, but it has close ties to CARE.
00:27:31.420 It was created by a former CARE member who at one time was on a terror watch list and was also a consultant to convicted terrorist Samuel Arion.
00:27:39.500 do you believe the islamic society of north america or isna is an ongoing part of the
00:27:49.920 muslim brotherhood network in the united states yes sir i do there were some hlf documents that
00:27:55.600 reflected uh hesitation by the brotherhood that they thought perhaps they were losing control
00:27:59.700 now the extent uh the corporate press will touch this story which isn't very much
00:28:06.500 they they'll ask Syed a softball question so that he can deny it and they can pretend that they
00:28:12.120 investigated the allegations and he's refuted them uh so kind of just symbolically checking
00:28:17.480 the box that's what NBC tried to do the other day but it didn't go very well watch for Michigan
00:28:24.280 voters who are hearing those attacks against you who are looking to separate fact from fiction
00:28:31.540 can you set the record straight about whether you or your family have any ties to the Muslim
00:28:36.700 Brotherhood? No, but let's talk about this. No, you don't have any ties. No. And your family
00:28:42.640 doesn't. No. Um, yeah, it's, you know, it's, it's, that's the kind of thing you don't want
00:28:50.020 to, but you don't want to put a, but after that, do you have any ties to terrorist organizations?
00:28:53.700 No, but it's always a bad sign when you have to do a no, but on that. And that's just, and this
00:29:00.660 is just basic this is communications 101 if you're denying something don't do the no but

00:30:10.980 So that was the fastest pivot that you'll see after the denial, if you can even call it a denial.
00:30:16.740 It's the old mud or something and then move on and hope they don't notice strategy.
00:30:21.060 which if you're trying to do damage control, it's not the best option.
00:30:24.860 He did it so fast, the anchor woman had to go back and ask the question again. 0.72
00:30:29.120 Now, is the Muslim Brotherhood funding this guy's campaign? 0.78
00:30:33.980 We don't know for sure, but we do know that these donors clearly have the objective of destroying the United States as we know it. 0.83
00:30:40.260 That's the only reason that a Senate candidate is going to talk openly about our duty to open the borders right out in the open,
00:30:47.200 doing this during a televised debate.
00:30:49.680 Watch. 0.91
00:30:51.240 Would refugees be a part of this plan? 1.00
00:30:53.240 Absolutely.
00:30:54.000 We as a country, I believe, owe it to the world to open our doors.
00:30:58.540 And we're better because of it. 1.00
00:31:00.740 So this guy is born to Egyptians. 0.93
00:31:05.160 He spends his summers in Egypt.
00:31:07.040 He claims he held Egyptian citizenship.
00:31:09.260 His wife owns property in Dubai.
00:31:11.800 He has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:31:13.500 He's spoken positively about the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:31:15.740 He mourned the death of Iran's supreme leaders a few months ago. 0.79
00:31:18.900 and he's now lecturing Americans about their sacred duty to open the borders to let even more 0.99
00:31:25.200 foreigners into the country. And he doesn't have anywhere near the charisma or the intelligence 0.76
00:31:30.120 that's necessary to sell this fraud to anyone. He's a dumpy foreigner who's telling us to our faces 1.00
00:31:35.840 that he doesn't think America should exist as a country. And at the moment, he's favored to win 1.00
00:31:41.960 the Senate race in Michigan. What's important to understand is that Syed and Tallarico as
00:31:47.220 unsettling and un-American and creepy as they are, are not remotely unusual, of course, by the
00:31:53.740 current standards of the Democrat Party. In fact, they are highly representative of the current crop 0.84
00:31:58.320 of candidates on the left. They're very much in the mainstream. Here's Jocelyn Benson, for example.
00:32:03.920 She's the former SPLC board member who, if the polls are accurate, is about to be the governor 0.93
00:32:09.420 of the state. Watch. Benson, I just want to ask you one question. I'm going to ask Alyssa to
00:32:14.940 recognize folks so but thanks roof this keeps coming up and i just wanted to give you an
00:32:23.100 opportunity to answer it with us in the press about uh your husband's involvement potentially
00:32:28.060 with this uh john james has said over and over again that the disclosures just aren't transparent
00:32:33.640 and then kind of checks were cashed and then the oratorium came do you dispute any of that
00:32:39.400 I think the record speaks for itself.
00:32:42.440 Just weird. 0.95
00:32:44.440 She can't even take a question from a reporter who's not on her pre-approved list.
00:32:48.100 But more than that, just like look at her mannerisms.
00:32:50.500 Look at her face.
00:32:52.760 She's kind of like, it looks, she looks like, she does about 10 different facial expressions randomly while she's listening to the guy.
00:33:00.520 She looks like, I don't know, like an actress in the trailer looking in the mirror,
00:33:06.480 practicing facial expressions before she goes to shoot a scene or something. But she's doing that
00:33:10.900 in front of everybody at a press conference. It's really strange. Tallarico has the same
00:33:17.360 unnatural twitching motions. It's like uncanny. It's not simply these candidates are determined
00:33:22.680 to undermine and demolish what's left of civilization. I mean, that's the real problem,
00:33:27.140 but they're also just profoundly strange people. They look like animatronics.
00:33:31.780 and you have to ask, where are they finding these people? What kind of person runs for office in the
00:33:37.080 Democrat party today? It looks like based on what we're seeing that you need to find like an apex
00:33:43.100 narcissist. You have to be severely damaged in some meaningful way to stand apart from a sea of
00:33:49.900 very unwell, confused people and to win their vote. Maybe that explains it. And then the foreign
00:33:57.500 money flows in to put these candidates over the top. So here's another example. This is a quote
00:34:02.000 from William Lawrence, a Democrat and until recently DSA member who's running for a house
00:34:07.920 seat in Michigan. Again, he's favored to win. He went on a podcast just two years ago in 2024,
00:34:15.140 and here's what he said. This is reporting from the Washington Free Beacon. Quote,
00:34:18.720 Lawrence, in an episode on protecting our migrant neighbors, mused about the political
00:34:23.820 tactics of left-wing reformers versus left-wing revolutionaries, siding decidedly with the latter.
00:34:30.100 We are lacking for a framework that can make sense of how to be revolutionary in the sense of truly,
00:34:35.340 truly wanting a world without borders and wanting to redistribute all the land and all the money.
00:34:39.880 Lawrence also envisioned a humane society in which we would throw open the gates and welcome all of
00:34:45.060 the migrants, the refugees, the asylum seekers from climate disasters and conflicts all around
00:34:49.380 the world. Now, you can go down the list. Troy Jackson in Maine has children with his cousin.
00:34:54.740 Dan Osborne in Nebraska calls for a border wall. Our racism, Graham Plattner had to drop out,
00:35:02.700 and it wasn't even the Nazi tattoo that did him in. Scott Wiener in California needs to have his
00:35:07.440 hard drive checked, and on and on. These people are, in some ways, totally unserious clowns in 0.91
00:35:15.120 that a real country where things are going reasonably well would never consider them, 0.93
00:35:20.460 or at least they wouldn't be viable options. But the polls show that they're probably going to win.
00:35:26.920 And if we're being honest, we can identify a number of reasons. Two primary ones jump out.
00:35:33.160 One, the war in Iran, which was supposedly going to spark an internal revolution that never took
00:35:37.600 place and high gas prices, which have made everything from transportation to the cost
00:35:42.320 of groceries increase substantially in cost. Those are two big reasons. And because of that,
00:35:47.780 these very unserious candidates have to be taken seriously because some of them will soon be in
00:35:55.540 the United States Senate. And once they're in, they can very quickly transform this country in
00:36:00.920 ways that for most people are unthinkable right now. The reason we're making Real History of
00:36:06.620 Communism, as I mentioned at the top, while we're making it free on YouTube on Friday,
00:36:10.440 is that if you want to understand how leftists can seize power, even when their ideas are
00:36:15.720 extremely unpopular and when they're just creepy, weird, disturbing people, then you
00:36:20.760 need to become familiar with the Russian revolution. 0.50
00:36:24.360 Now, at no point did the Bolsheviks win a national election in Russia.
00:36:28.160 They never had the support of the majority of the population or anything close to it. 0.84
00:36:31.980 But they rose to power anyway, because unlike the conservatives, they were willing to fight
00:36:36.860 and fight dirty.
00:36:39.060 There were other reasons, which we talk about in the documentary, including a very unfortunate miscommunication that could have come straight out of a Coen Brothers movie called The Kornilov Affair.
00:36:47.660 But that's the big one.
00:36:49.440 And then shortly after the Bolshevik takeover, people were getting letters in the mail, giving them a date and time where they had to show up to the banks where they would be forced at gunpoint to empty out all their savings and hand their money over to the commissars.
00:37:04.700 The government took everything.
00:37:06.660 There was a mass exodus.
00:37:08.220 Foreign investment went to zero.
00:37:10.400 Soon there was starvation.
00:37:12.180 Dissidents, including members of the church, were executed in the streets.
00:37:16.060 And as this catastrophe unfolded, everyday Russians simply couldn't believe what was happening.
00:37:21.020 They never thought their country would become a socialist hellscape,
00:37:24.260 and by the time they realized what had happened, it was too late. 0.81
00:37:28.520 The Bolsheviks, who never won an actual election again,
00:37:31.260 ruled for more than seven decades, killing millions of people in the process. 0.51
00:37:37.100 The real history of communism is as much a documentary about what happened in Russia
00:37:41.140 in the early 20th century as it is a warning about what could easily take place
00:37:46.020 and in some ways is currently taking place in the United States,
00:37:49.980 no matter how invincible we may think we are.
00:37:52.920 Again, it's out Friday.
00:37:54.560 It's probably the most important real history documentary we've done
00:37:57.040 and probably the most interesting,
00:37:59.880 especially at this particular moment,
00:38:01.780 which is why you should watch it and share it.
00:38:04.020 And remember that whatever happens in November,
00:38:07.340 the Bolsheviks did not win at the ballot box. 0.88
00:38:09.540 They never do. 0.94
00:38:11.180 They win when their opponents stop fighting,
00:38:14.720 which is something that,
00:38:16.320 especially given the current crop of Democrat candidates,
00:38:19.020 we must never do.
00:38:22.000 That'll do it for the show today.
00:38:22.960 Thanks for watching.
00:38:23.500 Thanks for listening.
00:38:24.040 Talk to you tomorrow.
