00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Walsh Show, we will play the one clip that puts the debate over Disney grooming
00:00:04.240 to rest and proves once and for all, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that they do have an agenda
00:00:08.540 to groom and indoctrinate children. Also, Elon Musk is now officially on the verge of becoming
00:00:11.980 Twitter's new owner, and Democrats move to legally bar Marjorie Taylor Greene from running for
00:00:16.660 re-election. If you can't beat him in the ballot box, just take him to court, apparently. Plus,
00:00:21.320 Taylor Lorenz comes up with the lamest possible excuse to justify doxing libs of TikTok.
00:00:25.900 In our daily cancellation, a stay-at-home dad weeps over the fact that his son is becoming
00:00:29.920 quote-unquote traditionally masculine. What's a gender-bending dad supposed to do in that
00:00:34.720 situation? We'll talk about all that and more today on the Matt Walsh Show.
00:00:47.320 Just like the foundation of this great country is the Constitution, the foundation of your family
00:00:51.700 should be your faith and your beliefs. So I have a serious question for you. If something should
00:00:55.780 happen to you or your spouse, who do you trust to instill those same core beliefs and values
00:00:59.900 in your children? Do you think it's the same person the state would assign them to?
00:01:05.380 If you don't have a will in place, you have no say in the future of your children. Let that sink in
00:01:09.800 for a minute. And if you're single and you don't think you need a will, you could not be more wrong.
00:01:13.300 A will allows you to establish advanced directive and medical power of attorney. Do you really want
00:01:17.900 to leave the burden of deciding life support or not to your family members or close friends? Of course
00:01:23.020 not. A will allows you to clearly communicate to your loved ones what your wishes are regarding your
00:01:28.260 health. If you haven't made one yet, you're not alone, but we're going to make it easy for you

00:01:54.300 You know, very often in our world today, we are told that we must disbelieve
00:01:59.080 our lying eyes. Truths that are right in front of us, plain as day, are to be rejected as mere
00:02:04.280 figments of our imagination. The most obvious realities become conspiracy theories, statements
00:02:08.640 of basic fact or propaganda. We run fact checks on self-evident certitudes, and the fact check
00:02:14.660 corrects the record. Reality is not reality, we are informed. The sun is not in the sky. Water is not
00:02:19.120 wet. There is no gravity. We're not living on planet Earth. Nothing that you see is real.
00:02:23.420 The self-assigned arbiters of truth assure us. Don't rely on your own common sense. Close your
00:02:29.060 eyes, which so often deceive you anyway, and let them guide you to and fro. Let them be your
00:02:33.900 window into the world. They will tell you what is real and what isn't. And they, our culture's truth
00:02:40.920 deciders, have decided that all of the recent talk about grooming is absurd, outrageous, offensive,
00:02:46.880 bigoted. It's all just a bunch of anti-gay fear-mongering, they say. And the claim that Disney,
00:02:52.180 Disney of all companies, Disney, not Disney, the claim that they're actively grooming and
00:02:57.040 sexualizing children is the most ludicrous falsehood of all, they insist. That's why,
00:03:02.020 they tell us, the move in Florida last week to take away Disney's special tax privileges
00:03:05.880 was a catastrophic overreaction. Worse, it was an all-out assault on the First Amendment somehow.
00:03:12.100 I mean, Disney has no constitutional right to the extra privileges afforded it by Florida, but
00:03:16.100 now that it has those privileges, taking them away is unconstitutional, we're told.
00:03:22.160 It's an unnecessary act of retribution. Disney didn't do anything to deserve this.
00:03:28.220 Poor, helpless Disney, that $200 billion damsel in distress. Disney now needs its own Prince Charming
00:03:35.620 to come rescue it. But unfortunately, Disney declared years ago that those kinds of characters
00:03:39.560 are misogynistic, retrograde, gender essentialist, and so there is no one left to save them.
00:03:45.320 They are abandoned to the clutches of the dastardly DeSantis. A man who, we are reminded,
00:03:50.960 completely made up this whole issue of Disney grooming children. That is entirely fictional.
00:03:57.640 And yet, there are, of course, many examples we can point to, and have pointed to many times recently,
00:04:02.600 of Disney endorsing, encouraging, and often actively engaging in predatory grooming practices
00:04:09.380 towards children. We've gone through the partial catalog, enough to prove the point, I think,
00:04:14.560 but we've missed one example. One example so disgusting and twisted and over the top
00:04:21.500 that it's really the only one we need. The conversation could begin and end right here.
00:04:27.520 Anyone defending Disney, anyone claiming that the grooming label is unfair or overboard,
00:04:35.400 anybody, including people on the right, panicking over Florida's revocation of Disney's legal
00:04:40.460 privileges should be confronted with this clip. This is from an episode of Good Morning America
00:04:45.940 on ABC, which is, of course, owned by Disney. Because when we're talking about Disney, we're not
00:04:50.760 just talking about Disney World and Mickey Mouse and The Little Mermaid. We're talking about all of the
00:04:56.060 media properties that Disney owns, like ABC. Now, what you're about to see happened on live TV,
00:05:04.900 on a major network, in front of a live studio audience. I didn't dig this up from the darkest
00:05:10.860 fringes of the internet. This is as mainstream as it gets. It's what Disney promotes and supports.
00:05:17.460 So here's the time when Good Morning America featured an 11-year-old boy in drag.
00:05:21.620 The child's stage name is Desmond is Amazing. And everyone in the building, including the hosts,
00:05:27.400 including Michael Strahan, who's one of the hosts, seem to very much agree that what you're about to
00:05:31.940 see is indeed amazing. Here it is.
00:05:35.720 Please welcome Desmond Napolis, a.k.a. Desmond is Amazing!
00:05:40.940 Because I'm strong enough to live without you. Strong enough to live without you. Strong enough to act with crying.
00:05:49.780 I'm strong enough to know. You've got to go. There's no more to say. So, say, I'm not going to walk away.
00:06:02.820 You've got to go. I'm not going to walk away. So, I'm strong enough to know.
00:06:10.600 Hello. Hello, Desmond. How are you? How are you doing?
00:06:17.540 Thanks for being here.
00:06:20.280 I love that you love root beer caffeine-free. I can get on board with that.
00:06:25.020 My mom doesn't like me drinking caffeine.
00:06:27.820 Does it make you hyper? Yeah, me too. They don't like when I drink caffeine either.
00:06:31.940 But, Desmond, you're one of the youngest and first drag queen-slash-kids.
00:06:37.940 And I've heard that you've gotten messages from young adults who look up to you for being who you are.
00:06:46.420 What are some of the notes you've gotten?
00:06:49.420 Some of the notes I've gotten are like that you inspire me very much,
00:06:54.780 and I wish I could have had the support that you have when I was a child.
00:07:01.940 Now, if you're listening to the audio podcast, you have been spared the worst of what we just experienced altogether.
00:07:08.580 Though you can't fully appreciate just how dark and deranged it was because Desmond, the 11-year-old drag kid, quote-unquote,
00:07:17.480 prances out on stage in women's clothes, makeup caked on his face, dances for the adoring crowd of grown adults,
00:07:25.900 at one point lays himself out prostrate on the ground, on the stage, while creepy Michael Strahan stares and claps.
00:07:32.900 And then he sits down for a lengthy interview.
00:07:36.140 And later in this segment, this segment that was aired on Disney's ABC,
00:07:40.580 even though Disney totally is not trying to groom children at all.
00:07:44.900 Later in the segment, three adult drag queens are brought out on stage with Desmond
00:07:49.160 in their full cross-dressing costumes, woman face fully on,
00:07:53.520 and they proceed to give Desmond gifts of makeup and, quote-unquote, dance classes.
00:07:59.120 Watch.
00:07:59.360 Do you guys want to tell us what's out here real quick?
00:08:01.760 Well, I see.
00:08:02.900 I drew Desmond a little green-haired lady.
00:08:06.080 It's for you.
00:08:07.520 It's to bring you good luck and prosperity in your future.
00:08:11.220 And to eat iceberg lettuce.
00:08:13.780 And to eat iceberg lettuce.
00:08:15.140 Good roughage, okay?
00:08:16.440 There you go.
00:08:17.640 With tomatoes and cucumbers.
00:08:19.400 Absolutely.
00:08:20.880 And I brought you a gift basket of some of my favorite.
00:08:25.100 Actually, you know what?
00:08:25.640 Let me actually hand it to you because I think you need to have it in your hand.
00:08:28.800 Oh, look at those lines.
00:08:29.340 It is some of my favorite makeup essentials that I use always.
00:08:35.040 I will never understand so many things about what we're seeing here.
00:08:39.220 But one of them is how every woman is not insulted when they see the drag queens.
00:08:47.760 And I know so many women are, in fact.
00:08:49.480 But every woman should be insulted because, I mean, leaving aside the worst part about this,
00:08:55.080 which is the fact that there's a kid there.
00:08:56.660 We'll get back to that in a second.
00:08:57.440 But you see that and, like, that's what they think of you.
00:09:01.000 That's their impression of you.
00:09:04.020 It is no different from blackface.
00:09:06.680 It is female blackface.
00:09:09.180 It is a mockery of womanhood.
00:09:12.100 This is what they think you are.
00:09:15.520 This is their female impression.
00:09:18.520 And if it seems cartoonish and degrading, that's because it is.
00:09:22.360 And that's how they see femininity, as a degraded, cartoonish thing.
00:09:28.600 By the way, if you're wondering where the father is in all of this, surprisingly, or maybe not surprisingly,
00:09:35.800 he is in the picture.
00:09:37.020 He's literally in the picture.
00:09:37.920 He's in the audience during this segment.
00:09:39.980 He's one of the greasy, disgusting old men staring and clapping while the young boys paraded around in cross-dressing burlesque gear.
00:09:46.960 Desmond may as well be wearing a sandwich board sign which announces,
00:09:50.900 I am a sexual abuse victim, because his abuse is on full display for all to see.
00:09:55.180 And the audience loves every minute of it.
00:09:57.440 And ABC loves it.
00:09:58.440 And Disney loves it.
00:10:00.260 Now, those who wish to mitigate and minimize this will point out that this segment aired back in 2018.
00:10:06.180 This is not new.
00:10:07.920 It's old news.
00:10:09.260 I've already been told this today after I posted this segment on Twitter.
00:10:12.340 People say, this is old news.
00:10:13.620 Why are you posting this?
00:10:15.080 Because to them, apparently, child sexual abuse doesn't matter if it happened a few years ago.
00:10:20.320 But maybe they'd have a point that its relevance to the current news cycle is minimized if there had already been an overwhelming public outrage about this spectacle.
00:10:30.920 And everybody involved was fired.
00:10:33.180 And Disney had issued a public apology.
00:10:35.320 And there was already a reckoning of that sort.
00:10:38.540 But no such reckoning occurred.
00:10:40.700 Nobody was fired.
00:10:42.880 Nobody apologized.
00:10:44.980 There wasn't even any real backlash.
00:10:46.760 Michael Strahan got a major contract extension last year after this.
00:10:51.600 Everybody involved rode happily into the sunset, except for Desmond himself, who is still being paraded around and used as a prop by the LGBT left and his evil, exploitative, ghoulish, abusive parents.
00:11:04.460 Desmond has been sent into gay clubs to dance for money.
00:11:07.460 That's a real thing.
00:11:11.060 This child in drag has danced at gay clubs at night while grown adult gay men throw money at him on stage.
00:11:21.420 He's appeared in videos with adult gay men where he pantomimes snorting ketamine off of his hand, something that no 11-year-old should know how to do or be aware of.
00:11:31.960 Just for reference, here's that moment.
00:11:35.100 Anyone can do drag.
00:11:37.460 Everyone can do drag.
00:11:38.920 Everyone can do drag.
00:11:39.460 Your mom can do drag.
00:11:41.080 What has this world come to?
00:11:43.060 It's come to a world where drag kids actually exist.
00:11:45.640 And people do ketamine on a couch.
00:11:48.740 And people do ketamine on a couch.
00:11:56.160 Yeah, so that's during some kind of Facebook Live or something.
00:12:02.360 And he's done a lot of these where he appears with adult cross-dressing men.
00:12:07.460 And very often in the videos, he appears to be on drugs.
00:12:11.880 I mean, he appears to this 11-year-old boy who very clearly appears to be drugged.
00:12:17.940 And in that video, he...
00:12:19.700 Now, that's not something that an 11-year-old should know anything about.
00:12:23.320 Do ketamine on a couch.
00:12:24.420 And then he...
00:12:25.160 But why was he doing that?
00:12:26.640 Because at the very least, he sees it happen all the time.
00:12:31.500 And I think we can assume that a lot more than just seeing it has occurred.
00:12:37.100 So this boy is quite clearly being drugged, abused, and exploited in front of the whole world.
00:12:41.860 And nothing is being done to stop it.
00:12:44.600 On the contrary, Disney is there to celebrate and promote it.
00:12:47.820 Meanwhile, the whole concept of drag kids and the mixing of drag queens and kids with things like Drag Queen Story Hour,
00:12:55.540 that's only become more mainstream, more common, more popular since 2018.
00:13:00.320 Once the left learned that it could put something like that on a network television morning show,
00:13:04.740 that was actually a pivotal, I believe, a pivotal moment in our culture was that.
00:13:12.480 Lots of people never knew that it even happened.
00:13:15.300 But that they could put that on Good Morning America.
00:13:21.100 And there's no backlash because of it.
00:13:26.040 Nobody even complains.
00:13:27.460 Well, they knew they could get away with a whole lot more.
00:13:30.180 And that's what they've set out to do.
00:13:32.880 Disney learned this lesson also.
00:13:35.580 The only problem with the current backlash against grooming, especially Disney's grooming of kids,
00:13:39.880 isn't that it's too harsh or over the line or too vengeful or unconstitutional.
00:13:44.360 It's none of those things.
00:13:45.880 The problem is that it's many years too late.
00:13:49.540 Boys like Desmond have already been destroyed while so many conservatives were distracted or too afraid to say anything.
00:13:54.720 Now that we're finally clued in,
00:13:56.680 there is very little we could do that we could possibly do in holding Disney and other groomers accountable
00:14:02.460 that would be truly overboard.
00:14:04.740 Certainly taking away their special cushy privileges doesn't even come close to that.
00:14:11.080 I mean, we could forget about everything else that Disney has done.
00:14:15.180 We could put all of that to the side.
00:14:19.160 We could skip over everything and just focus on this one segment on one episode of Good Morning America in 2018.
00:14:26.800 And that would be all by itself way more than enough to justify everything that's happening to Disney right now.
00:14:33.920 The only problem would be that it took too long.
00:14:39.100 Taking away tax benefits should be the least of it.
00:14:42.580 Why should a company be able to keep its tax benefits after putting that on the air?
00:14:45.480 You answer me that.
00:14:49.220 I want any conservative who has a problem with this to answer me that.
00:14:51.980 Why should they be able to keep their tax privileges while doing that?
00:14:55.640 In a sane and just and healthy society, all of the adults involved would, you know, tax privileges would be the least of it
00:15:05.640 because all the adults involved in producing and filming that segment would be in jail if we were a sane society.
00:15:12.240 Desmond's parents would have life sentences in solitary confinement at a minimum.
00:15:17.240 The backlash against Disney would have been so overwhelming and intense as to totally bankrupt and destroy the company.
00:15:26.180 That's what should have happened.
00:15:28.160 What should still happen.
00:15:31.120 Instead, we have to settle for making them pay taxes.
00:15:35.060 You know, that's not such a steep price to pay.
00:15:38.800 When you think of it like that.
00:15:41.000 Now let's get to our five headlines.
00:15:47.240 All right, parents, listen up.
00:15:49.780 We've all seen the countless examples of how radical radical leftists have been destroying American schools.
00:15:54.620 It's no longer just about the terrible math and reading levels.
00:15:57.280 Now radical left teachers birthed from liberal universities are forcing gender indoctrination in kindergarten.
00:16:03.720 They're teaching lessons on white guilt.
00:16:05.880 They're pushing critical race theory in classrooms.
00:16:07.680 We know all the things that they're doing.
00:16:09.420 Since COVID, parents have exposed dozens of violent and sexually explicit books and libraries.
00:16:13.640 Countless school boards have done nothing.
00:16:15.400 And the DOJ treated concerned parents like terrorists.
00:16:18.320 If you want a real education for your child, you need to check out Freedom Project Academy.
00:16:22.840 Unlike public schools, Freedom Project Academy has perfected live online learning over the course of a decade.
00:16:28.180 They're built on Judeo-Christian values and classical curriculum dedicated to providing mastery of subject matter, not propaganda.
00:16:34.680 So go to freedomforschool.com.
00:16:36.880 That's freedomforschool.com.

00:16:42.140 The average high school graduate is reading at a 7th grade level.
00:16:45.140 Think about that for a second.
00:16:46.520 Don't let that happen to your child.
00:16:47.940 Classes are filling up, so please don't wait until the last minute.
00:16:50.460 That's freedomforschool.com.
00:16:52.420 Freedom, F-O-R, school.com.
00:16:55.740 All right.
00:16:56.760 So I got to ask you this real quick.
00:16:58.160 So tell me if I deserve to be bullied for this.
00:16:59.980 Over the weekend, my wife, once again, was cyber-stalking, harassing, and fat-shaming me.
00:17:06.500 And this time she told everybody that on Saturday I had six slices of pizza in one sitting with nacho cheese.
00:17:15.060 Now here's the thing.
00:17:16.020 I'm getting a lot of harassment over this.
00:17:18.420 The thing is, out of context, that sounds pretty bad.
00:17:22.800 You know, it sounds like gluttonous and disgusting and reprehensible.
00:17:25.980 But that's why you need to wait until you get all the facts before you believe rumors on the internet, especially if they're started by my wife.
00:17:33.520 Here are the facts.
00:17:35.180 I did actually eat all of that, but I still rate the claim false because crucial details are missing.
00:17:41.780 And I've learned from the fact checkers you can do that.
00:17:44.220 Something could be totally true, but if not all the facts are given, then it's false now.
00:17:48.380 So this is false because here are the facts.
00:17:51.680 We ordered a bunch of pizza.
00:17:53.800 We had a lot left over.
00:17:55.600 I did my part to eat more because, as my parents always told me when I was a kid, there are starving kids in China.
00:18:02.280 And somehow they are helped when you stuff your fat face, even after you're already full.
00:18:07.600 As far as the nacho cheese, I'd never done that before.
00:18:10.420 But the pizza place where we ordered it, they asked, would you like nacho cheese with the pizza?
00:18:14.900 I'd never, no one ever asked me that at a pizza place before.
00:18:17.340 What am I going to say, no?
00:18:19.840 Somebody asks if you want nacho cheese as a side, no matter what your meal is, are you going to say, no one would say no to that.
00:18:24.940 So you say yes.
00:18:25.860 And I tried it, and frankly, it was a revelation.
00:18:29.240 I cannot recommend it enough.
00:18:31.980 Nacho cheese and pizza, it changed my life.
00:18:34.820 My life and my waistline will never be the same again.
00:18:39.340 All right, maybe slightly bigger news than me eating six slices of pizza is this from Reuters.
00:18:43.560 Of course, Twitter is poised to agree to a sale to Elon Musk for around $43 billion in cash, which was the best and final offer that he made a couple weeks ago.
00:18:53.520 And originally they said they wanted no part of it, at least the board, the board said that.
00:18:57.520 Twitter may announce the deal later on Monday once its board has met to recommend the transaction to Twitter shareholders, the sources said.
00:19:06.980 It's always possible the deal collapses at the last minute.
00:19:09.860 The sources added, Musk, the world's richest person, according to a tally by Forbes, is negotiating to buy Twitter at a personal capacity, and Tesla is not involved in the deal.
00:19:17.900 Now, listen, I'm not ready to build any statues to Elon Musk just yet.
00:19:25.200 Well, I take that back.
00:19:26.380 I think I would build them.
00:19:27.980 I would build a statue to Elon Musk right now for no other reason than how offensive it would be to the left.
00:19:32.940 Like if I was president, I would commission a 70-foot statue of Elon Musk, like just maybe right in the middle of Washington, D.C.,
00:19:42.060 and I would put it alongside the 70-foot statue of Christopher Columbus that I'm going to build and the statue of Stonewall Jackson murdering an endangered panda with a gun,
00:19:54.740 which will be labeled assault rifle, on the side of it.
00:19:57.420 That's my campaign promise.
00:19:58.620 My only campaign promise is that I'm going to do that.
00:20:01.080 The point is, aside from annoying the left, I would not be building monuments to Elon Musk,
00:20:05.240 but I do think that he will obviously go down as one of the most significant humans of our century.
00:20:13.900 And on top of that, he's one of the only rich guys in the world right now that I can think of
00:20:19.240 who's actually doing cool things with his money.
00:20:24.580 Not just cool things, but things that are making the world a better place.
00:20:29.280 Let's contrast this with Mark Zuckerberg, who's not the richest guy in the world.
00:20:34.240 He's only worth like $100 billion rather than $200 billion or whatever it is.
00:20:38.400 It's practically a pauper compared to Elon Musk.
00:20:41.660 But he's taking all of that, and his big project is the metaverse.
00:20:45.940 And so what he wants to do instead is he noticed that people are wasting their lives on the Internet
00:20:51.320 and that the Internet has taken over our lives, especially for kids.
00:20:55.240 And so his idea is let's take that situation and make it a million times worse.
00:21:00.580 Let's make it exponentially worse.
00:21:01.940 People have forsaken almost, they have all but forsaken their regular physical lives.
00:21:09.580 So let's just take the almost out of it and make sure that people entirely forsake their physical lives
00:21:14.700 and just walk around with these goggles on their face where they lived in a virtual world,
00:21:19.360 where they become like literally consumed by the Internet.
00:21:22.000 So that's Mark Zuckerberg's project is to do that.
00:21:27.880 Meanwhile, Elon Musk is doing this.
00:21:31.700 You know, he's buying Twitter, trying to protect free speech.
00:21:34.660 He's going into space.
00:21:36.360 Think of just the contrast there between the two rich guys.
00:21:39.540 One is, like, he's trying to make your life even smaller, removing you even from your physical environment
00:21:47.880 so that your horizons are not just diminished but actually extinguished so you can no longer see the horizon anymore.
00:21:57.740 And for Elon Musk, though, on the other hand, it's expanding our horizons, going out, discovering more of the physical universe that we all live in.
00:22:03.840 And that's a great thing, but the left hates him, and they hate him, even though Tesla is, by the way, doing more to save the environment.
00:22:14.100 If the environment needs saving at all, then he's doing more to save it than certainly any company in the world
00:22:19.120 and also certainly any government in the world.
00:22:22.200 But they hate him primarily and really solely because he could use his vast wealth to stifle dissident voices.
00:22:31.340 Dissident voices, as far as the left is concerned.
00:22:35.740 Voices that the left thinks are dissident.
00:22:38.840 He could use his wealth to do that.
00:22:41.280 And he could be a huge asset in their camp in squashing these voices.
00:22:48.000 But he's not. He's going the other direction.
00:22:51.640 He's trying to expand free speech, give more people a platform to speak, and have their voices heard.
00:22:56.200 And they hate him for that.
00:22:58.900 That is his great crime, as far as they're concerned.
00:23:01.340 All right, this is from CNN.
00:23:03.740 Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia was confronted in court on Friday
00:23:08.480 over past social media posts advocating violence against Democrats, allegedly.
00:23:13.940 This is CNN's version of events.
00:23:17.820 At the hearing in Atlanta, the determinant of Greene is constitutionally barred from running for re-election
00:23:21.420 because of her alleged role in the January 6th insurrection.
00:23:24.200 The congresswoman repeatedly said she couldn't remember past comments or interactions.
00:23:27.400 CNN's K-file reported last year, prior to being elected to Congress, Greene had repeatedly indicated
00:23:32.540 support for executing prominent Democratic politicians in 2018 and 2019 in comments and
00:23:37.620 posts on social media.
00:23:38.640 This, again, is CNN's claim.
00:23:40.700 And I would not believe it for a damn second until they give proof of it.
00:23:46.940 At the hearing, Greene initially denied she had called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi a traitor
00:23:50.740 to our country, which even if she did, so what?
00:23:55.420 I mean, I call Nancy Pelosi a traitor to our country, too, because she is in many ways.
00:23:59.600 And then it went on from there, and this is what they're trying to do, is that they're
00:24:05.460 trying to, as it says in the article, it's like, actually, the one honest thing, the one
00:24:09.720 truthful thing that I've read in the article so far is that they want to legally bar Marjorie
00:24:14.920 Taylor Greene from seeking re-election.
00:24:18.300 Which, by the way, they wouldn't even consider doing if they thought they could just defeat
00:24:22.140 her at the ballot box, but they don't think they can.
00:24:24.840 And so they're going this route instead.
00:24:26.280 A lot of video, a lot of clips have surfaced from this whole kangaroo trial.
00:24:32.740 This was my favorite moment, though, the way that Marjorie Taylor Greene handled this.
00:24:37.500 Listen to this.
00:24:39.120 And when you were notified that people had entered the Capitol illegally, did you also
00:24:47.340 understand at that point that there had been violence at the Capitol?
00:24:52.280 I only knew what I was told.
00:24:54.280 I'd heard a gunshot.
00:24:56.620 We all heard it.
00:24:58.220 And we were so confused.
00:25:00.700 We thought Antifa was breaking in or BLM because those were the riots that had gone on and on
00:25:06.860 all throughout 2020, day in and day out.
00:25:10.180 Just horrible riots all over the country.
00:25:12.460 And that was the only thing that made sense to most of us.
00:25:15.700 I love it.
00:25:17.440 That's great.
00:25:18.040 Because, like, of course, she didn't actually think that Antifa and BLM were breaking in.
00:25:23.040 But that's just her way of bringing up an important point that that's the rioting that happened.
00:25:29.000 Those are the riots that we should be worried about.
00:25:32.040 That plagued not just D.C. for a couple of hours on one day, but plagued cities across the country for months and even years on end.
00:25:40.180 So that was her way of bringing that up, which I just think is great.
00:25:44.040 The part that's not so great about this is that the left, while they accuse everybody else of waging war on democracy,
00:25:53.520 they call everything an attack on democracy, and they're doing it right now with the situation in Florida with Disney.
00:25:59.960 So taking away a megacorporation, a billion-dollar megacorporation's tax benefits,
00:26:06.860 and simply saying, to use their words, you have to pay your fair share like everybody else does.
00:26:13.880 So that's an attack on democracy.
00:26:15.960 That's an attack on the Constitution.
00:26:18.500 And they make that claim and are, in fact, supported by a lot of conservatives as they make it.
00:26:24.860 A lot of conservatives are joining arms with the left on that point and saying that, yes, this is a, let's all link arms and circle around Disney.
00:26:35.380 You shall not pass.
00:26:38.360 While they're saying that, just, you go north, you know, a few hundred miles,
00:26:44.200 and here they are in Atlanta trying to bar one of their opponents from seeking re-election.
00:26:52.720 On what pretense?
00:26:54.860 But because she had offensive tweets, allegedly, in 2019?
00:27:00.640 Accusing her of, like, somehow being involved in the rioting, of fomenting insurrection, even though there was no insurrection.
00:27:08.580 And she obviously wasn't, and the rioting that did occur, she wasn't involved in it.
00:27:14.400 And at no point did she stand in front of a crowd and say, yes, everyone, let's go invade the Capitol.
00:27:19.860 She never said that.
00:27:20.480 So, they're searching for a pretense, but they don't really even need it.
00:27:27.200 And they know that because the media is going to have their backs.
00:27:29.920 And they're just trying to bar, an opponent who they can't defeat in the ballot box,
00:27:33.920 instead they're going to go to court and try to stop her from seeking re-election.
00:27:38.160 If we could call anything an attack on democracy, this is it.
00:27:45.560 But you know what?
00:27:46.220 On the other hand, here I am complaining about it.
00:27:51.380 And so conservatives have been complaining about it.
00:27:53.340 And some Republicans, a lot of Republicans have just kept their mouth shut about this,
00:27:56.260 because they don't want to, establishment Republicans and so on,
00:27:59.180 you know, they don't want to be seen taking Marjorie Taylor Greene's side.
00:28:04.840 So they're just putting nails in their own coffin,
00:28:06.780 because if you allow them to do this to her, then they're going to do it to you next.
00:28:13.020 And you might say, well, I'm not like her, I'm different, I'm one of the good ones.
00:28:19.200 No, as far as the left is concerned, there are no good ones on our side.
00:28:21.940 But rather than complaining about it, you know, since they have set this standard now,
00:28:31.200 and they've said these are the rules now,
00:28:34.680 that you can bar someone from seeking re-election,
00:28:37.540 if you can tie them to a riot,
00:28:41.320 no matter how precarious that connection happens to be,
00:28:45.840 well, if those are the rules, then great.
00:28:49.740 Let's play by those rules.
00:28:51.820 See, what we have to stop doing is allowing the left to have their own rules.
00:28:56.520 Of course, they're going to take that privilege.
00:28:58.560 Speaking of privileges, they're going to take that privilege if we give it to them.
00:29:02.720 And for years, for decades, we have given it to them.
00:29:05.040 We've basically said, yeah, you can have it.
00:29:07.140 You can do it that way.
00:29:07.920 You can play by those rules.
00:29:09.040 We're too good for that.
00:29:10.840 So we're going to lose with dignity, year after year, decade after decade,
00:29:14.720 while our culture and society are destroyed,
00:29:16.860 and children are destroyed, and the family is destroyed,
00:29:19.060 and our civilization collapses.
00:29:21.560 We're going to let all that happen because, you know,
00:29:24.280 it's the dignified thing to do.
00:29:28.180 No, these are the rules now.
00:29:30.680 So once we're done complaining about it,
00:29:32.680 we can complain about it a little bit.
00:29:33.720 And then once we're done that, now we flip it around and we say we find every single Democrat
00:29:39.600 who actually encouraged and fomented rioting, BLM rioting for months on end,
00:29:46.240 and we do the same to them.
00:29:51.360 Every single one of them should be up on the stand.
00:29:54.380 Every single one of them should be dragged into court.
00:29:58.880 The entire squad, this is what the Republicans should be doing,
00:30:01.620 trying to legally bar them from ever seeking re-election
00:30:04.860 because of how they encourage rioting.
00:30:07.060 And they actually did, explicitly.
00:30:13.320 I mean, they were AOC and Ilhan Omar and all the rest of them
00:30:17.680 doing Instagram Lives and stuff like that,
00:30:21.500 saying, calling for more unrest.
00:30:24.020 There has to be unrest in the streets and all that kind of stuff.
00:30:25.980 So rather than simply complaining about it,
00:30:31.620 these are the rules.
00:30:33.400 If you can tie a politician to rioting,
00:30:36.180 then you can proceed to bar them from running for re-election.
00:30:41.460 Okay, well, that puts a lot of Democrats on the docket.
00:30:45.780 That puts a lot of them on the hot seat.
00:30:49.080 Unless we decide we're too good for that.
00:30:52.600 And the right thing and the moral thing
00:30:54.660 is just to allow this to be a tool
00:30:57.320 that only your enemies use.
00:31:00.940 Yet another tool that they use
00:31:02.640 to devastate and decimate you
00:31:05.640 while you stand by and watch.
00:31:10.760 Because somehow it's dignified or something.
00:31:15.200 So there's a lot of outrage right now at Publix,
00:31:18.780 the grocery store,
00:31:20.280 that supposedly some of the,
00:31:24.660 the sponsors of the Florida anti-groomer bill
00:31:28.040 received some donations from Publix.
00:31:30.120 I don't even know if that's true or not.
00:31:31.620 But it did lead to this,
00:31:32.920 which is pretty funny.
00:31:34.720 This is from a leftist activist,
00:31:37.060 Jack Patakis.
00:31:38.660 Is that how you pronounce his last name?
00:31:39.680 Who knows?
00:31:40.240 I'm sure I butchered it.
00:31:41.620 He says,
00:31:42.360 Today I resigned from Publix.
00:31:44.500 After four years of service,
00:31:46.380 I was so disheartened when the company
00:31:48.060 failed to even make a statement
00:31:49.640 following more than $200,000 in donations
00:31:51.840 to the sponsors of the quote-unquote
00:31:54.420 don't say gay bill.
00:31:56.060 Let's all call on Publix to stop funding hate.
00:31:58.660 Now this guy, Jack,
00:31:59.680 this is like a kid.
00:32:00.720 Okay, so he's not,
00:32:01.780 when he says he resigns from Publix,
00:32:03.400 he's not on,
00:32:04.680 he's not in the corporate side of it.
00:32:06.220 He's not a, you know,
00:32:06.940 a VP or something.
00:32:09.100 This kid's like a cashier.
00:32:11.740 He's bagging groceries.
00:32:13.140 And he just,
00:32:14.260 he just announced his resignation.
00:32:16.620 I like,
00:32:17.100 just,
00:32:17.320 just some news for you.
00:32:20.280 You don't get to resign from jobs.
00:32:23.300 Resigning,
00:32:23.800 you have to be,
00:32:24.440 I'm going to put the cutoff at 25
00:32:25.960 or over at least.
00:32:29.300 And you have to be making more
00:32:30.580 than minimum wage to resign.
00:32:33.320 When you're like 16 years old,
00:32:35.740 pushing carts around the parking lot,
00:32:38.760 which by the way,
00:32:39.320 is a very noble job,
00:32:40.280 but you're doing that,
00:32:41.460 you're bagging groceries,
00:32:42.260 you don't get to resign.
00:32:42.920 You just quit.
00:32:44.620 And not only did you quit from your job,
00:32:46.220 but you made a big public statement about it
00:32:48.240 and you're blasting your former employer.
00:32:51.260 And that's something that
00:32:52.480 prospective future employers
00:32:54.200 are going to see.
00:32:55.040 And they're going to be a little bit reluctant now
00:32:56.420 to hire you as well they should be.
00:32:58.500 I resign.
00:33:00.520 No,
00:33:00.940 you just quit,
00:33:01.600 kid.
00:33:01.740 That's all you did.
00:33:02.560 You just quit your job.
00:33:04.300 Meanwhile,
00:33:04.880 on the Florida bill,
00:33:05.940 Randy Weingarten,
00:33:06.960 who's the head of one of the largest teachers
00:33:09.300 unions in the country,
00:33:10.720 she was on MSNBC
00:33:11.760 and she had some thoughts
00:33:13.160 on the Florida bill.
00:33:14.100 Let's listen to those.
00:33:15.400 Have you had conversations
00:33:16.760 with LGBTQ teachers
00:33:18.900 in terms of how
00:33:20.240 they have been targeted
00:33:21.460 just for merely existing
00:33:23.380 in the classroom?
00:33:24.380 I mean,
00:33:25.020 I remember teachers
00:33:26.080 just openly talking
00:33:27.360 about personal experiences
00:33:28.660 and what they've gone through
00:33:29.640 and now we're seeing how
00:33:30.740 by merely existing,
00:33:31.860 they have been targeted
00:33:32.600 and smeared
00:33:33.300 as a danger
00:33:34.740 to their students.
00:33:35.840 So,
00:33:38.300 you know,
00:33:38.660 obviously,
00:33:39.780 I have
00:33:40.860 and I've talked
00:33:41.560 to several gay teachers
00:33:42.840 who are members
00:33:43.900 of our union
00:33:44.800 to just,
00:33:47.040 you know,
00:33:48.060 be their backstop.
00:33:50.200 PFLAG did
00:33:51.100 an amazing
00:33:52.120 petition
00:33:53.520 for one of those
00:33:55.100 teachers
00:33:55.540 in Florida,
00:33:57.060 a remarkable
00:33:57.980 elementary school teacher,
00:33:59.800 kindergarten teacher,
00:34:01.280 beloved by his kids
00:34:02.600 and the parents
00:34:04.440 of his kids
00:34:05.180 and he was
00:34:06.880 immediately terrorized
00:34:08.500 after the bill
00:34:10.260 was passed
00:34:11.240 and signed
00:34:12.220 by DeSantis
00:34:13.140 because he's gay.
00:34:16.440 We have to let
00:34:18.140 gay kids
00:34:19.500 and gay teachers,
00:34:21.140 frankly,
00:34:21.480 we have to let everyone
00:34:22.620 talk about their
00:34:23.760 lived experience.
00:34:24.960 That's part of how
00:34:25.840 you build relationships.
00:34:27.300 That's part of how
00:34:28.120 you unite people.
00:34:29.200 That's part of how
00:34:29.860 you save a democracy.
00:34:32.180 Of course.
00:34:32.600 She got it all in there.
00:34:34.440 I was waiting.
00:34:34.800 We got lived experience
00:34:35.880 and I was waiting
00:34:37.540 could we get one or
00:34:38.300 a couple other things
00:34:39.540 on the bingo card
00:34:41.240 and she got
00:34:42.580 saved democracy
00:34:43.180 so she got that
00:34:44.060 in there too.
00:34:44.600 So we got
00:34:45.000 lived experience,
00:34:46.960 saved democracy.
00:34:49.240 She didn't,
00:34:50.080 I was hoping
00:34:50.660 for the January 6th
00:34:52.140 tie-in
00:34:52.660 and we didn't get that.
00:34:55.460 But we did,
00:34:56.120 of course,
00:34:56.300 get homophobia,
00:34:57.280 stop hate,
00:34:57.880 so I think there's enough
00:34:58.640 for a bingo there.
00:34:59.360 We have to allow
00:35:03.160 people to talk
00:35:04.040 about their
00:35:04.420 lived experiences.
00:35:05.640 Yeah, well,
00:35:06.380 this is not
00:35:07.180 the anti-lived
00:35:08.340 experience bill.
00:35:11.740 I wish it was.
00:35:12.780 I wish it was a bill
00:35:13.520 banning people
00:35:14.240 from even using
00:35:14.900 the phrase
00:35:15.400 lived experience.
00:35:16.200 That's another thing
00:35:16.780 that I would do
00:35:17.300 if I was in charge.
00:35:19.360 But it's not.
00:35:20.120 So there is nothing
00:35:20.860 in the bill
00:35:21.440 which stops anyone
00:35:22.460 from talking about
00:35:23.340 their lived experiences.
00:35:25.740 It doesn't even
00:35:26.500 stop teachers
00:35:27.180 from talking about
00:35:27.920 their own
00:35:28.360 lived experiences
00:35:29.440 even though they
00:35:30.060 should not be talking
00:35:30.780 about their
00:35:31.060 lived experiences
00:35:31.660 because that's not
00:35:32.600 why the kids
00:35:33.080 are there.
00:35:33.480 They're not there
00:35:33.900 to learn.
00:35:34.440 It's not story time
00:35:35.420 where they're
00:35:35.760 learning stories
00:35:36.640 about your
00:35:36.960 lived experience.
00:35:37.480 They're there
00:35:37.760 to learn
00:35:38.220 the academic
00:35:39.660 subjects
00:35:40.100 that you
00:35:40.660 ostensibly
00:35:41.140 supposedly
00:35:41.640 are supposed
00:35:42.140 to be teaching
00:35:42.520 them.
00:35:44.580 Then what we get
00:35:45.000 from the MSNBC
00:35:45.720 anchor,
00:35:46.440 this line of,
00:35:47.700 this is another
00:35:48.060 thing that goes
00:35:48.520 on the bingo card,
00:35:50.300 attacked for
00:35:50.980 merely existing.
00:35:52.000 How often
00:35:54.360 do we hear this?
00:35:54.880 This is always
00:35:55.360 the line.
00:35:56.760 LGBT people
00:35:57.860 are being
00:35:58.180 attacked
00:35:58.520 for merely
00:35:59.060 existing.
00:36:02.060 No,
00:36:02.380 this is a bill
00:36:03.660 and the whole
00:36:04.340 anti-grooming
00:36:05.040 effort on the
00:36:05.740 right is
00:36:06.840 targeting
00:36:07.280 actions,
00:36:09.060 certain
00:36:09.460 unacceptable
00:36:10.340 behaviors
00:36:11.620 and actions
00:36:12.640 and very
00:36:13.840 specifically
00:36:14.340 in this case
00:36:14.960 the action
00:36:16.100 of sexually
00:36:17.100 indoctrinating
00:36:17.680 children.
00:36:18.840 So are you
00:36:19.400 saying,
00:36:20.240 as the MSNBC
00:36:21.500 anchor,
00:36:21.780 are you
00:36:22.240 saying that
00:36:23.360 sexually
00:36:25.020 indoctrinating
00:36:25.600 kids
00:36:26.180 is such
00:36:27.700 a crucial
00:36:28.260 part of
00:36:29.120 the LGBT
00:36:29.800 identity?
00:36:31.340 It's such
00:36:32.040 a part
00:36:32.300 of the
00:36:32.500 culture
00:36:32.820 that if
00:36:33.340 you take
00:36:33.800 that away
00:36:34.280 from them,
00:36:35.200 you have
00:36:35.480 essentially
00:36:36.360 removed
00:36:37.020 their ability
00:36:37.640 to exist.
00:36:40.380 Are you
00:36:41.140 saying that
00:36:41.740 the existence
00:36:42.440 of the
00:36:43.760 LGBT
00:36:44.060 community
00:36:44.700 depends on
00:36:46.480 indoctrinating
00:36:47.280 and recruiting
00:36:47.940 kids into it?
00:36:48.860 Is that what
00:36:49.200 you're saying?
00:36:49.520 I'm not
00:36:51.700 saying that.
00:36:52.260 That appears
00:36:53.000 to be what
00:36:53.380 you are
00:36:53.760 saying.
00:36:57.080 Which is
00:36:57.660 an interesting
00:36:58.080 claim from
00:36:58.620 you.
00:36:59.760 Something worth
00:37:00.300 thinking about
00:37:00.780 perhaps.
00:37:01.820 Next,
00:37:02.460 Taylor Lorenz
00:37:03.360 has,
00:37:04.340 I think,
00:37:05.400 been workshopping
00:37:06.220 some excuses
00:37:06.960 for why she
00:37:07.780 decided to
00:37:08.320 dox
00:37:08.680 libs of
00:37:09.460 TikTok.
00:37:10.560 And she
00:37:10.960 appeared on
00:37:11.340 CNN over
00:37:11.760 the weekend.
00:37:12.320 And this is
00:37:12.780 the excuse
00:37:13.420 that she has
00:37:14.080 settled on.
00:37:14.600 It's rare
00:37:17.940 to see an
00:37:18.380 account gain
00:37:19.780 so much
00:37:20.160 prominence so
00:37:21.080 quickly and
00:37:21.860 be shaping
00:37:22.480 these narratives
00:37:23.260 in such an
00:37:24.080 effective way,
00:37:24.720 especially against
00:37:25.260 trans people.
00:37:26.920 So I was,
00:37:27.620 I mean,
00:37:27.820 my story was
00:37:28.280 kind of long,
00:37:28.820 but I really
00:37:29.260 wanted to make
00:37:29.820 the case like
00:37:30.480 why this
00:37:31.000 account mattered.
00:37:31.920 And I think
00:37:32.340 it's incredibly
00:37:33.100 important,
00:37:33.740 you know,
00:37:33.920 as someone that
00:37:34.520 covers the
00:37:35.080 influencer industry
00:37:35.880 to know who
00:37:37.280 is exerting
00:37:37.840 influence in
00:37:39.040 this way.
00:37:39.660 I mean,
00:37:39.800 for all we
00:37:40.240 knew,
00:37:40.420 this could
00:37:40.700 have been a
00:37:41.040 foreign actor,
00:37:41.860 right?
00:37:42.120 Or someone we
00:37:43.300 just didn't
00:37:43.740 know.
00:37:44.080 And so I
00:37:44.520 thought,
00:37:44.880 hey,
00:37:45.060 look,
00:37:45.280 this account
00:37:45.640 has massive
00:37:46.300 power,
00:37:46.720 massive influence.
00:37:47.520 This woman
00:37:47.900 is basically
00:37:48.440 on an entire
00:37:49.040 right-wing media
00:37:49.720 tour.
00:37:50.060 She gave
00:37:50.320 interviews to
00:37:50.780 the New York
00:37:51.020 Post,
00:37:51.420 Tucker,
00:37:51.780 all of that,
00:37:52.700 and registered
00:37:53.580 as a media
00:37:54.140 company,
00:37:55.060 registered a
00:37:55.520 trademark.
00:37:56.040 So,
00:37:56.800 yeah,
00:37:57.020 I wanted to,
00:37:57.940 I thought it
00:37:58.420 was quite
00:37:58.960 important in
00:37:59.760 the public
00:38:00.240 interest to
00:38:00.780 find out
00:38:01.280 who was
00:38:01.840 running it.
00:38:02.460 So there
00:38:03.120 are several
00:38:03.620 arguments against
00:38:04.600 your article.
00:38:05.440 One is that
00:38:06.240 this person's
00:38:07.080 identity was
00:38:07.780 simply not
00:38:08.380 newsworthy.
00:38:10.400 Those are
00:38:11.080 dumb arguments,
00:38:12.120 of course,
00:38:12.560 not newsworthy.
00:38:13.320 Well,
00:38:13.860 she says,
00:38:14.720 that was the
00:38:16.140 interesting thing,
00:38:16.780 is that she
00:38:17.060 says,
00:38:17.540 well,
00:38:17.720 this person
00:38:18.140 could have
00:38:18.360 been a
00:38:18.640 foreign actor,
00:38:19.760 could have
00:38:20.020 been some
00:38:20.300 kind of
00:38:20.740 foreign agent,
00:38:22.760 could have
00:38:22.900 been a
00:38:23.920 foreign
00:38:24.440 government.
00:38:25.440 This was an
00:38:26.240 attempt by a
00:38:26.960 foreign
00:38:27.180 government.
00:38:27.700 Maybe Libs of
00:38:28.240 TikTok is a
00:38:29.140 creation of the
00:38:31.040 Chinese government
00:38:31.700 or something.
00:38:32.600 Or,
00:38:32.880 no,
00:38:33.180 Putin,
00:38:34.040 of course.
00:38:35.480 Maybe this
00:38:35.760 was Putin,
00:38:36.160 Putin himself
00:38:37.100 was behind
00:38:37.880 Libs of TikTok.
00:38:38.400 TikTok.
00:38:39.200 Maybe.
00:38:41.580 And I'll
00:38:42.400 tell you this
00:38:42.640 right now.
00:38:43.300 This is the
00:38:43.860 one concession
00:38:44.600 I will make
00:38:45.440 on behalf
00:38:46.400 of Taylor
00:38:49.300 Lorenz and
00:38:49.960 anybody else
00:38:50.520 who agrees
00:38:50.820 with this.
00:38:51.540 If it had
00:38:52.300 turned out
00:38:52.840 that Putin
00:38:53.840 was running
00:38:54.520 Libs of TikTok,
00:38:55.260 then I would
00:38:55.900 agree that
00:38:57.740 that would
00:38:58.140 be newsworthy.
00:38:59.500 Okay,
00:38:59.740 that's worth
00:39:00.220 writing a news
00:39:00.680 article about.
00:39:01.200 But before
00:39:04.700 you published
00:39:05.400 the article,
00:39:06.220 you discovered
00:39:07.040 that it was
00:39:07.780 not Putin,
00:39:08.380 and it was
00:39:08.680 not a foreign
00:39:09.080 agent,
00:39:10.040 and it was
00:39:10.880 not any kind
00:39:12.480 of shadowy
00:39:13.440 figure.
00:39:13.880 It was just
00:39:14.360 a woman,
00:39:15.880 just a regular
00:39:16.320 woman.
00:39:18.080 And so you
00:39:18.700 discovered that
00:39:19.720 this was a
00:39:21.200 regular private
00:39:21.920 citizen,
00:39:22.520 an American
00:39:22.960 citizen,
00:39:24.000 no known
00:39:25.420 ties to
00:39:26.160 Russia,
00:39:26.580 although I'm
00:39:26.900 sure you're
00:39:27.280 looking for
00:39:27.700 him,
00:39:28.340 but you
00:39:29.380 haven't found
00:39:29.760 him yet.
00:39:31.200 And you
00:39:31.860 discovered
00:39:32.240 that,
00:39:32.720 and yet
00:39:33.040 you decided
00:39:34.420 to publish
00:39:34.760 the article
00:39:35.080 anyway.
00:39:37.040 And that's
00:39:37.620 the best
00:39:37.920 she could
00:39:38.180 do.
00:39:38.480 That's the
00:39:38.880 best she
00:39:39.200 could do
00:39:39.440 in justifying
00:39:40.100 doxing this
00:39:41.560 woman,
00:39:42.260 is that maybe
00:39:44.180 she was a
00:39:44.600 foreign agent,
00:39:45.320 but she
00:39:46.120 wasn't.
00:39:47.600 Like,
00:39:47.880 the most
00:39:48.340 that that
00:39:48.640 excuse could
00:39:49.120 get you
00:39:49.500 is justifying
00:39:51.240 looking into
00:39:51.980 it,
00:39:52.760 which I don't
00:39:53.700 think it even
00:39:54.140 justifies that,
00:39:55.340 because there's
00:39:56.160 no reason to
00:39:57.040 think that a
00:39:59.480 foreign government
00:40:00.000 would have to
00:40:00.340 be involved in
00:40:00.820 this.
00:40:02.180 What lives
00:40:02.400 with TikTok
00:40:02.780 does is,
00:40:04.480 as I've said
00:40:05.180 many times,
00:40:05.680 is important,
00:40:06.740 and also I
00:40:07.600 imagine time
00:40:08.220 consuming,
00:40:09.040 but also pretty
00:40:09.560 simple.
00:40:10.620 It's like all
00:40:11.120 she's doing is
00:40:11.720 just looking at
00:40:12.440 TikTok and
00:40:12.960 then taking the
00:40:13.520 videos that are
00:40:14.360 the most outrageous
00:40:14.980 and putting them
00:40:15.660 over here.
00:40:18.360 There's no reason
00:40:19.200 to think that
00:40:19.720 there's any kind
00:40:20.440 of government
00:40:22.660 funding behind
00:40:23.540 it.
00:40:25.760 But if that gets
00:40:26.520 you anywhere,
00:40:27.000 it just gets you
00:40:27.580 to the point of
00:40:28.460 looking into it,
00:40:29.460 if even that
00:40:31.940 far,
00:40:32.660 it certainly
00:40:33.600 does not get
00:40:34.140 you to the
00:40:34.460 point of
00:40:34.980 publishing the
00:40:36.080 article with
00:40:39.140 the person's
00:40:39.560 name attached.
00:40:40.880 Let's get now
00:40:41.500 to the comment
00:40:41.820 section.
00:40:42.140 You know,
00:40:52.700 it's exhausting
00:40:53.560 just living in
00:40:55.000 this culture and
00:40:55.760 dealing with all
00:40:56.240 the things that we
00:40:56.780 talk about on the
00:40:57.320 show every single
00:40:57.840 day.
00:40:57.920 Maybe even
00:40:58.280 listening to the
00:40:58.800 show sometimes is
00:40:59.460 exhausting, and
00:41:00.080 that's why you need
00:41:01.220 a Helix mattress.
00:41:02.720 Helix Sleep has a
00:41:03.540 quiz that takes just
00:41:04.340 two minutes to
00:41:04.880 complete and matches
00:41:05.680 your body type and
00:41:06.460 sleep preferences to
00:41:07.100 the perfect mattress
00:41:07.820 for you.

00:41:09.220 a mattress made
00:41:09.960 for somebody else?

00:41:11.480 getting a mattress
00:41:12.180 that you know will

00:41:15.940 and Helix knows
00:41:16.460 that, so they have
00:41:17.320 several different

00:41:19.920 medium, and firm
00:41:20.520 mattresses.
00:41:21.080 Mattress is great

00:41:22.520 down if you sleep
00:41:23.100 hot.
00:41:23.900 Mattress is great

00:41:27.600 looking for a
00:41:28.180 mattress, you take
00:41:29.080 the quiz, you order
00:41:29.700 the mattress that
00:41:30.460 you're matched to,
00:41:31.280 and the mattress
00:41:31.860 comes right to your
00:41:32.680 door, and it's
00:41:33.640 shipped for free.

00:41:35.000 that.

00:42:16.320 Connor Noonan says,
00:42:17.780 Matt, as the world's
00:42:18.580 leading LGBTQ plus
00:42:20.080 author, we the people
00:42:21.200 demand that DW Kids
00:42:22.940 has a Johnny the
00:42:23.900 Walrus cartoon.
00:42:25.700 Well, I've read this
00:42:28.280 comment many times,
00:42:29.140 and the people are
00:42:29.800 demanding it.
00:42:30.720 I'm demanding it also.
00:42:32.620 Not that my demands
00:42:34.060 really mean anything
00:42:34.780 around here anyway,
00:42:36.420 but I will make the
00:42:37.080 demand.
00:42:39.540 Let's see.
00:42:42.620 Matilda says, I
00:42:43.440 think it's weird that
00:42:43.980 people are so concerned
00:42:44.780 about Disney losing
00:42:45.580 privileges in Florida.
00:42:46.780 It's not as if they're
00:42:47.780 being sanctioned.
00:42:48.760 They're just not being
00:42:49.540 coddled anymore.
00:42:50.620 If their special tax
00:42:51.940 rules have been in
00:42:53.220 place for almost 60
00:42:54.180 years, they should have
00:42:54.940 been reevaluated by the
00:42:56.060 state either way, not
00:42:57.680 just rolled on for
00:42:58.540 eternity.
00:42:59.700 And right, you would
00:43:00.480 think the people,
00:43:01.260 especially the people who
00:43:01.920 are so critical of big
00:43:03.980 corporations and so
00:43:05.280 suspicious of rich
00:43:06.100 people, you think that
00:43:06.800 they especially would
00:43:07.700 say, let's look into
00:43:08.620 this.
00:43:08.900 Let's not just keep it
00:43:11.300 going in perpetuity,
00:43:12.420 these tax privileges.
00:43:13.360 It's at least time to
00:43:14.220 reevaluate.
00:43:15.580 I agree with you on
00:43:16.480 that.
00:43:20.100 Elizabeth Ball says,
00:43:21.560 dang, what a shame for
00:43:22.380 the price of one gallon
00:43:23.340 of gas.
00:43:23.800 You could get a month
00:43:24.420 of incredible satire,
00:43:25.560 content so rage
00:43:26.400 inducing that watching it
00:43:27.440 burns more calories than
00:43:29.420 a workout.
00:43:29.740 And all the little side
00:43:31.300 stories that weren't
00:43:32.120 important enough for the
00:43:32.960 real media.
00:43:34.560 RIP.
00:43:35.160 CNN plus.
00:43:36.220 Another tragedy.
00:43:37.120 It is a tragedy in many
00:43:39.120 ways.
00:43:43.140 Connor says, I already
00:43:44.260 read that one.
00:43:44.800 Okay, here's this one.
00:43:45.560 It says, Matt, JT says,
00:43:47.180 Matt, you used to be a
00:43:47.940 Christian, but now all you
00:43:49.060 do is stoop to the left's
00:43:50.260 level.
00:43:50.680 I'm extremely disappointed
00:43:51.780 and I've almost completely
00:43:52.740 stopped listening.
00:43:54.160 Please go back to who you
00:43:55.140 were before.
00:43:55.560 I always find these kinds
00:43:58.600 of comments interesting
00:43:59.700 because, first of all,
00:44:00.520 I've always been like
00:44:01.420 this, so I'm not exactly
00:44:03.460 sure what you're talking
00:44:04.120 about.
00:44:05.400 I don't like it when people
00:44:06.420 try to start rumors that
00:44:07.440 there was a time when I
00:44:09.580 used to be much more
00:44:10.600 gentle and kind of a nice
00:44:11.740 guy.
00:44:12.180 I assure you that was
00:44:13.360 never the case.
00:44:15.700 As far as stooping to the
00:44:16.900 left's level, yeah, you
00:44:19.960 know what?
00:44:20.160 That's exactly what I'm
00:44:20.960 doing.
00:44:22.300 I think there are a lot of
00:44:23.120 people on the right who
00:44:23.880 agree with, who take the
00:44:25.040 same approach as me, and
00:44:26.540 they would take issue with
00:44:27.740 you describing it as
00:44:29.220 stooping to their level.
00:44:31.300 But I don't take issue
00:44:32.260 with it.
00:44:32.600 And, you know, in fact,
00:44:33.220 I'll accept that.
00:44:35.100 I am stooping to the
00:44:36.260 level.
00:44:37.160 Why am I doing that?
00:44:38.580 Because that's where they
00:44:41.020 are, right?
00:44:43.820 If I want to land some
00:44:45.020 blows, I got to be where
00:44:46.380 they are, okay?
00:44:50.120 If they're stooping down in
00:44:51.780 the mud, in the muck, and
00:44:52.840 I'm standing up here, and
00:44:54.140 I don't want to get my
00:44:54.780 hands dirty, I can swing
00:44:57.420 away all I want, and I'm
00:44:58.500 just going to be punching
00:44:59.060 the air, because there's
00:44:59.920 nobody there.
00:45:02.060 And I think so often with
00:45:03.180 conservatives, you want to
00:45:04.460 fight battles the way they
00:45:06.560 were fought 40 or 50 years
00:45:07.840 ago when it comes to
00:45:10.000 political and ideological
00:45:10.660 issues.
00:45:12.680 And you're basically, you're
00:45:14.100 fighting an opponent who
00:45:15.500 doesn't exist anymore.
00:45:18.120 You're fighting a version of
00:45:19.860 the left that no longer
00:45:21.360 exists.
00:45:24.420 And so if you want to make
00:45:26.980 any kind of impact at all and
00:45:29.140 win any battles, then you've
00:45:30.640 got to go where your
00:45:32.280 opponents are and fight them
00:45:33.860 there.
00:45:35.740 And if the battlefield's a
00:45:37.000 little bit muddy and it's a
00:45:39.720 little bit ugly, well, that's
00:45:40.680 just, that's how it is.
00:45:41.700 That's the world we live in
00:45:42.620 right now.
00:45:42.920 That's the culture we live
00:45:43.700 in.
00:45:46.720 So yes, I absolutely stooped
00:45:48.260 to their level.
00:45:48.800 I will accept that, and I
00:45:50.740 make no apologies for it.
00:45:52.320 Well, if you've been living
00:45:53.140 under a rock and you haven't
00:45:54.580 heard the six million times
00:45:56.420 I've mentioned it on this
00:45:57.440 show, then you might be
00:45:58.220 unaware that I've written a
00:45:59.120 children's book, and it is
00:46:00.180 changing the world as we
00:46:01.380 know it.
00:46:01.640 It's sold out in less than
00:46:02.400 24 hours and at one point
00:46:04.000 was crowned the number one
00:46:05.320 best-selling LGBTQ plus book
00:46:07.380 on Amazon.
00:46:08.220 The book is called Johnny the
00:46:09.640 Walrus, and I'm sure it will
00:46:10.580 serve as an inspiration for the
00:46:11.900 entire LGBTQ plus
00:46:13.580 community for centuries to
00:46:15.220 come.
00:46:15.780 As mentioned, the book sold
00:46:16.620 out right away due to its
00:46:17.500 immense popularity, but I have
00:46:18.840 great news for you.
00:46:19.400 The book will be back in stock
00:46:21.080 tomorrow.
00:46:22.380 It's finally happening.
00:46:23.200 It's finally here.
00:46:23.700 That's why you need to head to
00:46:24.600 johnnythewalrus.com and
00:46:26.520 reserve your copy right now.
00:46:28.560 Now let's get to our daily
00:46:29.360 cancellation.
00:46:34.080 You know, there is some
00:46:35.060 symmetry to the show today.
00:46:36.740 We started with a network TV
00:46:38.360 morning show celebrating the
00:46:39.900 grooming and indoctrination of
00:46:41.120 a young boy.
00:46:41.620 We end with something
00:46:43.380 tragically similar.
00:46:44.820 In this case, the today's show
00:46:46.020 website today.com features an
00:46:47.500 article with this headline.
00:46:49.320 I wanted my son to reject
00:46:50.580 masculine stereotypes.
00:46:52.040 Then he fell in love with
00:46:53.300 tractors.
00:46:54.140 All my life, I've prided myself
00:46:55.780 on blurring gender lines, but
00:46:57.260 when my young son started to
00:46:58.360 gravitate toward the very things
00:46:59.800 I'd shunned, I wasn't sure what
00:47:01.920 to do.
00:47:02.900 Now the column is written by a
00:47:04.300 guy named Jay Dietker, whose
00:47:07.780 Twitter bio tells us he's a stay-at-home
00:47:10.060 co-sleeping dad and a recovering
00:47:12.900 schmuck.
00:47:14.460 That's how he describes himself.
00:47:16.500 And it appears that his recovery is
00:47:17.940 not going well, sadly.
00:47:20.660 Jay, doing absolutely no favors to
00:47:22.300 stay-at-home dads who are worried
00:47:23.600 about negative stereotypes, tells us
00:47:25.220 that he's done his best to
00:47:26.520 indoctrinate his young boy into
00:47:27.820 being as effeminate as he is, but
00:47:30.020 so far it has not gone according to
00:47:31.680 plan.
00:47:32.480 He writes, quote,
00:47:33.200 Yeah, what a nightmare that would be.
00:48:00.020 Dear God, imagine if your son becomes
00:48:02.260 athletic, strong, talented, and
00:48:04.240 financially successful.
00:48:05.800 Who would want such a thing?
00:48:08.560 Who would wish for such a curse upon
00:48:10.540 their son?
00:48:11.040 Well, certainly not house husband Jay,
00:48:12.700 who continues,
00:48:13.420 I've always judged other guys who
00:48:15.680 seemed boxed in by masculinity, but
00:48:17.600 three and a half years ago, when I
00:48:19.000 became a stay-at-home dad, my bias
00:48:20.980 skyrocketed.
00:48:22.220 We co-slept, and he snoozed with his
00:48:24.040 head resting on my chest, listening to
00:48:25.900 the rhythm of my heartbeat.
00:48:26.780 I began attending mommy and me
00:48:28.600 playgroups and bristled when other
00:48:30.140 caregivers made jokes about me
00:48:32.080 providing daddy daycare.
00:48:34.800 Well, at least we could take solace in
00:48:36.840 the assurance that the moms at the
00:48:38.440 playgroup are bullying Jay.
00:48:40.960 I kind of imagine him sulking in a
00:48:42.660 corner, eating Activia yogurt, and
00:48:44.580 crying softly to himself.
00:48:46.800 And that thought at least brings me
00:48:48.300 some joy.
00:48:49.420 House husband Jay continues,
00:48:50.680 I grimaced at anyone driving a Ford
00:48:53.060 car, the John Wayne of automobiles.
00:48:55.100 I hated men who wore plaid.
00:48:58.480 How dare you, sir.
00:48:59.600 I felt ill if somebody mentioned a
00:49:01.720 wrench or another tool.
00:49:03.280 When my mom-in-law bought Avishai a
00:49:05.620 coverall with footballs on it, I
00:49:07.280 shoved it into the depths of his
00:49:08.600 closet, never to be found.
00:49:11.340 Well, this is some more good news for
00:49:12.660 me, I guess.
00:49:13.700 I'm always looking to pad my victim
00:49:15.320 resume, you know, and kind of pad my
00:49:17.360 stats a little bit.
00:49:18.260 And now I know that I've been
00:49:19.280 discriminated against for being a
00:49:20.660 member of the plaid community.
00:49:22.120 A person of plaid, as we call
00:49:23.500 ourselves.
00:49:23.840 P.O.P. for short.
00:49:25.700 At least I'm being discriminated
00:49:26.560 against by one person, and he just
00:49:28.020 so happens to be a man who actually
00:49:29.560 wrote the sentence, I felt ill if
00:49:32.380 somebody mentioned a wrench.
00:49:34.520 And he didn't mean it as a joke.
00:49:37.900 Let's read just one more section of
00:49:39.340 what is certainly at least in the
00:49:40.420 running for the title of most
00:49:41.760 pathetic diatribe in human history.
00:49:43.620 He continues, once my son could walk,
00:49:45.860 I paraded him through the park while
00:49:47.340 he rolled his baby doll down the
00:49:48.900 sidewalk in his stroller.
00:49:49.800 I felt accomplished because he
00:49:52.320 mirrored being a caretaker.
00:49:54.040 But then came the tractors.
00:49:56.420 It started with YouTube.
00:49:57.780 On days I was especially drained,
00:49:59.820 I'd sit avishai in front of the TV
00:50:01.680 and click on little baby bum.
00:50:03.900 He fell in love with the tractor
00:50:05.040 songs, and I was so worn I didn't
00:50:06.700 care.
00:50:07.760 When he asked to watch clips of
00:50:09.120 construction equipment, I mindlessly
00:50:10.820 pressed play.
00:50:12.380 But when he demanded the shirts, I
00:50:14.580 felt like I failed him.
00:50:15.420 I pride myself on blurring gender
00:50:17.640 lines.
00:50:18.540 I wanted him to also.
00:50:21.380 Okay, I take it back.
00:50:22.280 This is not in the running for the
00:50:23.580 most pathetic diatribe in human
00:50:24.600 history.
00:50:25.360 It has certainly won the title.
00:50:27.160 All other competitors are left in
00:50:28.660 its dust.
00:50:29.860 House husband Jay talks about his
00:50:31.900 toddler discovering tractors the
00:50:33.400 way that most parents might talk
00:50:35.100 about their teenage son developing a
00:50:37.060 heroin addiction or something.
00:50:38.860 He's devastated by it.
00:50:40.760 Though as the piece drones on and
00:50:42.600 on and on and on, the house
00:50:44.420 husband eventually does come
00:50:45.540 around to sort of accepting his
00:50:47.360 son's masculine tendencies, he's at
00:50:49.340 least accepted that he can't
00:50:50.500 completely deprogram his boy and
00:50:52.580 turn him into a girl yet.
00:50:55.120 Though I suspect he's not going to
00:50:56.440 stop trying.
00:50:58.100 For now, though, and for the
00:50:59.160 foreseeable future, his toddler son
00:51:01.380 is manlier than he is.
00:51:03.200 And he felt the need to write an
00:51:04.560 article and post it on today.com and
00:51:06.900 let us all know about that.
00:51:09.200 Now, it's hard not to laugh at
00:51:10.840 house husband Jay.
00:51:11.760 He certainly deserves all of the
00:51:14.180 mockery and bullying coming his
00:51:15.400 way.
00:51:15.840 If only he'd gotten a whole lot more
00:51:17.060 of it in his youth, maybe it
00:51:18.120 wouldn't have come to this.
00:51:19.620 But the laughter soon dies away when
00:51:21.080 you remember that there's an actual
00:51:22.500 real child caught in the middle of
00:51:24.420 this neutered man's self-hating
00:51:26.280 neurosis.
00:51:27.740 And it demonstrates, again, one
00:51:29.960 startling fact.
00:51:31.520 That on the left, there's only one
00:51:34.260 rule for children.
00:51:36.680 Okay?
00:51:37.080 They can be anything they want to
00:51:38.140 be, but they must become something
00:51:40.600 other than what they actually are.
00:51:43.360 They must be raised to reject
00:51:45.160 themselves, their true nature, their
00:51:47.240 authentic identities.
00:51:49.300 So it's not that, and this is
00:51:50.960 important, it's not that on the left,
00:51:53.840 it's not that they hate masculinity
00:51:55.160 per se.
00:51:56.760 Even Jay himself, who faints and
00:51:58.480 vomits at the sight of a socket
00:51:59.540 wrench, doesn't despise the idea of
00:52:02.100 masculinity.
00:52:02.520 He just despises it when it's
00:52:04.060 exhibited by men.
00:52:05.160 He quite admires masculinity in
00:52:08.040 women, which is why he's traded
00:52:09.380 places with his wife and ceded the
00:52:12.080 man's role to her.
00:52:14.700 Leftists certainly don't have a
00:52:16.280 problem with brawny masculinity or
00:52:18.480 pink and frilly femininity.
00:52:20.520 They just have a problem with those
00:52:21.960 things in their traditional
00:52:23.080 settings.
00:52:25.020 Boys can be as frilly and feminine
00:52:26.740 as they like.
00:52:28.000 Girls can be as masculine as they
00:52:29.680 like.
00:52:30.780 The only time a girl should be
00:52:32.280 traditionally feminine is if it's
00:52:34.620 actually a boy identifying as a
00:52:36.400 girl.
00:52:36.620 Just as the only time a boy should
00:52:37.820 be masculine is if the boy is
00:52:39.460 actually a girl identifying as a
00:52:41.100 boy.
00:52:42.840 The left has not waged war on
00:52:44.500 masculinity and femininity
00:52:45.500 directly.
00:52:46.900 It has instead ripped these things
00:52:48.520 out of their proper context and
00:52:50.320 had them sort of switch places with
00:52:51.780 each other.
00:52:53.260 Now, inevitably, both will perish in
00:52:56.200 that operation, just as any tree
00:52:57.760 dies when severed from its roots.
00:52:59.820 As maleness is the life-giving root
00:53:01.940 of masculinity and femaleness is the
00:53:03.960 root of femininity, but it's
00:53:05.640 important to know just how they've
00:53:07.280 gone about doing this.
00:53:09.440 It's also essential to realize that
00:53:11.240 in a very strange and backward sort
00:53:13.560 of way, leftists actually worship
00:53:15.980 femininity and masculinity.
00:53:18.420 Perhaps fetishize is a better word.
00:53:21.120 That's what all the drag queen stuff
00:53:22.280 is about.
00:53:23.820 They just don't like either femininity
00:53:25.680 or masculinity when they are found in
00:53:28.000 females and men, respectively.
00:53:29.480 Secondly, they want to switch those
00:53:31.280 two things.
00:53:32.740 So the theme, as always, is that
00:53:34.940 people must reject who they are.
00:53:37.600 Be anyone you want to be other
00:53:39.720 than yourself.
00:53:41.240 That's the core message.
00:53:43.080 It's the religion that this man's
00:53:44.620 son will be tragically indoctrinated
00:53:46.080 into.
00:53:47.780 And that is ultimately why Housewife
00:53:50.000 Jay is today canceled.
00:53:52.760 And we'll leave it there for today.
00:53:53.940 Thanks for watching.
