00:00:00.000 Who should pay on the first date? 0.95
00:00:03.880 Men.
00:00:04.880 I'd want him to be like, just taking action.
00:00:08.640 Being a man, I guess.
00:00:09.640 Being the leader?
00:00:10.420 Yeah.
00:00:10.860 No, not really the leader, but just being a man and stepping up and paying.
00:00:14.100 Being the man, stepping up.
00:00:15.300 Doing his manly duties.
00:00:16.120 Stepping up and not being the leader.
00:00:17.780 We're going to take a look at some videos.
00:00:21.160 These are all videos having to do with gender roles.
00:00:24.360 So let's go to the first video.
00:00:25.840 The sad thing is a lot of these stereotypes actually come from sexist beliefs
00:00:29.040 because there is no biological difference between males and females
00:00:32.420 that indicates whether or not they can drive or cook well.
00:00:35.660 These stereotypes are exclusively because of the beliefs
00:00:38.400 that people have had in the past about gender roles.
00:00:41.160 This is so boring.
00:00:42.620 God, gosh.
00:00:43.400 ...reality, such as the idea that men are stronger.
00:00:46.700 This can still be really toxic and sexist and is not always true,
00:00:50.780 but biologically men tend to find it easier to build muscle
00:00:54.480 because of their hormones, therefore making them often stronger.
00:00:57.780 Men can cook and clean. 0.99
00:00:59.340 Women can drive. 1.00
00:01:00.520 And as for childcare, some people make the argument that breastfeeding is a biological difference,
00:01:05.000 but that kind of stops after the age too.
00:01:06.820 So men can look after children too. 1.00
00:01:08.760 You can do whatever you want.
00:01:10.260 Gender doesn't really matter. 1.00
00:01:11.480 It's sexist.
00:01:12.500 You like how she has to admit,
00:01:14.440 well, there are some stereotypes that are correct, like men are stronger.
00:01:16.820 That's not a stereotype, by the way.
00:01:18.120 It's not a stereotype that men are stronger.
00:01:19.960 It's just a reality.
00:01:22.160 It's a thing.
00:01:22.780 I'm stronger.
00:01:23.600 I'm smarter.
00:01:24.280 I'm better.
00:01:25.440 I'm better.
00:01:26.300 But even then, she has to begrudgingly admit that,
00:01:28.440 but she puts it in scare quotes.
00:01:29.780 Men are stronger, quote, unquote, stronger.
00:01:32.340 No, men are not quote, unquote, stronger.
00:01:33.760 We just are stronger.
00:01:38.380 The rest of it that she mentions,
00:01:40.060 like some of those stereotypes that men can't cook,
00:01:43.780 that's not even a stereotype.
00:01:45.060 That's, who actually thinks that?
00:01:46.960 In fact, most of the top chefs in the world are men,
00:01:50.080 so I'll take that.
00:01:50.700 Yeah, you're right, actually.
00:01:51.700 You know what?
00:01:52.080 Men can cook, and we're better at it. 0.99
00:01:54.420 I mean, that seems to be what you're saying,
00:01:55.260 so I'll take that.
00:01:56.580 Congratulations.
00:01:57.400 You played yourself.
00:01:58.340 What was the other one,
00:01:59.280 the stereotypes of men and women?
00:02:01.820 Oh, women can't drive. 1.00
00:02:03.160 I think that there is some,
00:02:04.280 probably some biological basis to that.
00:02:06.200 I mean, there need to be more research done on it.
00:02:09.140 I don't want to be involved in the research
00:02:10.680 because it's very dangerous
00:02:12.340 to be in a car with a woman while she's driving,
00:02:14.320 but I think that there's probably,
00:02:15.200 like, hand-eye coordination.
00:02:17.080 There are other things.
00:02:17.720 You know, it's a trend that we've noticed,
00:02:21.140 and there's probably a reason for the trend,
00:02:23.680 but you have to be willing to investigate it.
00:02:25.880 And when it comes to something like driving,
00:02:27.860 you know, that is, it's all,
00:02:29.220 it's hand-eye coordination, it's focus,
00:02:31.320 it's a very physical thing.
00:02:33.320 I turn now.
00:02:34.560 Good luck, everybody else.
00:02:35.980 And so if men tend to be better at it,
00:02:41.240 there probably is a biologically ingrained reason.
00:02:44.120 But a lot of these things we can't even,
00:02:45.220 you can't even research them
00:02:46.760 or look too much into them
00:02:48.160 because then it's automatic,
00:02:49.440 it'll offend people like this.
00:02:51.260 Most stereotypes,
00:02:53.140 and I'm not going to say all,
00:02:54.680 but with most stereotypes,
00:02:55.840 and this goes for gender stereotypes,
00:02:57.400 it goes for pretty much all stereotypes.
00:02:59.180 They are not proscriptive,
00:03:00.580 they are descriptive.
00:03:01.320 Okay, it is society noticing things
00:03:04.680 about groups of people
00:03:06.280 and commenting on it.
00:03:09.100 And that's where the stereotypes come from.
00:03:10.760 Nothing to cry about.
00:03:11.860 I've got a holiday gift idea
00:03:13.020 that's sure to make you the hero of the season.
00:03:15.260 Now we all know the holidays can be a bit hectic,
00:03:17.280 the shopping, the cooking,
00:03:18.280 the never-ending list of things to do.
00:03:19.940 But fear it out because I've discovered a gift
00:03:21.740 that's not just thoughtful,

00:04:12.740 That's GenuCell.com slash WalshYT today.
00:04:16.220 The same people that say men and women 0.95
00:04:18.300 have to be a specific way
00:04:19.680 are the same people who say that
00:04:21.440 gender is not a social construct
00:04:24.280 when they are...
00:04:25.400 And I'm sure that the insight
00:04:26.460 will be quite profound
00:04:27.500 and indeed insightful.
00:04:29.960 But what does that have to do with religion?
00:04:32.600 Well, a whole hell of a lot
00:04:34.560 because they're basing what a man
00:04:36.680 and a woman should be 1.00
00:04:37.820 and how we should all act
00:04:39.720 based upon what they think their God says.
00:04:43.640 Men should act this way. 0.72
00:04:45.240 Women should act this way. 1.00
00:04:46.560 Women should be subservient to men. 1.00
00:04:49.300 This is how God decrees it.
00:04:51.780 So you can see that these things
00:04:53.880 tie in together very well,
00:04:55.540 whereas the rest of us see that
00:04:57.080 these things are just made up by each other.
00:05:00.620 And it doesn't really matter.
00:05:01.900 Act how you want to act.
00:05:03.060 You don't have to be lockstep with anybody else.
00:05:05.480 Gender is just really made up stuff. 1.00
00:05:08.340 Yeah, my religion says put a shirt on.
00:05:10.020 Oh my God, put on a shirt. 0.96
00:05:11.460 It's disgusting. 0.71
00:05:12.040 Why don't you see all that? 0.99
00:05:13.180 Gender is made up, he says. 0.94
00:05:14.540 And he's actually right.
00:05:16.440 So he's 100% right,
00:05:18.620 but he's right in ways
00:05:21.020 that he doesn't understand.
00:05:22.120 Gender is made up. 1.00
00:05:23.640 It's a made up concept
00:05:25.240 made up by people like him
00:05:27.880 and by his side of the ideological divide.
00:05:31.060 And we don't need it.
00:05:32.020 I don't need it.
00:05:33.520 I don't need it.
00:05:34.600 It almost seems that
00:05:36.040 there could be an agreement here.
00:05:39.040 And there never will be
00:05:40.320 because these people
00:05:40.760 don't know what they're talking about.
00:05:41.800 They don't even know what they want
00:05:42.800 or what they're saying.
00:05:43.480 What do you want?
00:05:44.640 What do you want?
00:05:45.440 But if their words had any meaning,
00:05:48.260 then we would almost be able to agree on this topic.
00:05:50.460 Let's just get rid of gender. 1.00
00:05:51.560 We don't need it.
00:05:52.760 We don't need it as a concept. 0.90
00:05:54.480 We have sex,
00:05:55.520 male and female,
00:05:56.300 man and woman.
00:05:57.260 And that's all we need.
00:05:58.860 That's as far as this goes.
00:06:00.080 We don't need this second thing
00:06:01.860 that accompanies it.
00:06:03.740 And no one can figure out exactly like,
00:06:05.620 what does this mean exactly?
00:06:06.680 What do we need this for?
00:06:07.760 I don't see the point.
00:06:08.640 So much of the confusion
00:06:09.940 that the left has
00:06:10.880 when it comes to quote unquote gender
00:06:13.260 is that they've made up
00:06:15.020 all these concepts
00:06:15.880 and they're constantly trying
00:06:18.160 to figure out
00:06:18.700 what they're supposed to do
00:06:20.000 with these concepts
00:06:20.820 that they've made up.
00:06:21.900 So they make up all these things
00:06:23.560 and then they look at it
00:06:25.400 and say,
00:06:25.660 what am I supposed to do with this?
00:06:26.780 They come up with all these sloppy,
00:06:28.600 incoherent concepts
00:06:29.660 and then they are confused
00:06:32.200 by them themselves
00:06:33.260 and then so they try to throw that at us
00:06:35.360 as if we're responsible for it.
00:06:36.500 Hold on.
00:06:37.300 This whole operation was your idea.
00:06:39.440 So if you're trying to figure out
00:06:40.600 what to do with gender,
00:06:41.960 that's not my problem.
00:06:42.920 I don't need it.
00:06:43.780 You know,
00:06:44.100 let's just get rid of it. 0.99
00:06:45.960 We have sex, 0.99
00:06:46.580 male and female.
00:06:47.080 That's all we have.
00:06:47.800 That's all you need.
00:06:48.540 That's what we have.
00:06:49.180 We don't need this second thing.
00:06:51.140 Keeps it much simpler.
00:06:52.700 That'll do it.
00:06:53.240 We'll end it there.
00:06:54.440 Talk to you tomorrow.
00:06:55.180 Godspeed.
00:06:55.540 I'm a girl and by me that's only great
00:06:58.440 I am proud that my silhouette is curvy
00:07:02.020 That I walk with a sweet and girlish gait
00:07:05.500 With my hips kinda swivelly and swervy
00:07:09.400 Godspeed.
00:07:14.560 Godspeed.
00:07:15.560 Godspeed.
00:07:16.320 Godspeed.
00:07:16.540 Godspeed.
00:07:17.280 Bad
00:07:32.480 ック
