00:08:15.820 and then today, the Republicans decided that they're gonna start this narrative that
00:08:21.380 me, the state representative who represents downtown Nashville, doesn't like the city.
00:08:27.180 You're talking to someone who has cried no less than 10 times in the Country Music Hall

00:08:32.680 The girl that just goes to the Ryman to hang out.
00:08:36.100 No, no, we're not, we're not even gonna go there.
00:08:38.640 We are so close to winning this race, which is why these rumors are getting more wild.
00:08:43.280 Bain left stammering during a mild interview on MS Now this past Sunday
00:08:48.140 about deleted 2020 posts calling to defund the police.
00:08:52.140 You said in those since-deleted tweets that the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department
00:08:57.780 should be dissolved.
00:08:58.820 Another cheered on a teacher's union saying that defund the police should be a requirement
00:09:03.400 for schools reopening.
00:09:05.200 And another saying good morning, especially to the 54% of Americans that believe burning
00:09:10.020 down a police station is justified.
00:09:13.040 2020 was obviously a very fraught year.
00:09:15.840 Do you still stand by those comments?

00:09:20.700 Um, yeah, I'm not gonna engage in, in, in, uh, cable news talking points, but what I will
00:09:25.820 say is that, um, you know, our communities need solutions.

00:09:51.480 We really have an opportunity here in this country to talk about what type of policy,
00:09:57.720 progressive policies we want to see as young women.
00:09:59.500 And I think we have, you know, as, as birther, you know, as women who can give birth, men
00:10:04.740 and women who can give birth, we can maybe leverage that as collective bargaining.
00:10:09.140 We can really leverage collective bargaining when it comes to, um, having children in this
00:10:14.160 country.
00:10:14.480 And so, for example, like I'm not going to give birth until the United States government
