00:02:55.140 President Trump ordering the strikes following years of insisting, as did Presidents Clinton,
00:03:01.120 Bush, Obama, and Biden, that Iran must never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon.
00:03:06.820 The Trump administration attempting to reach a deal for months.
00:03:09.980 In mid-April, the president issuing a 60-day deadline to the regime.
00:03:14.080 Make a deal or else.
00:03:15.480 On the 61st day, with no deal reached, the Israeli military beginning waves of attacks,
00:03:21.980 incapacitating Iranian air defense systems, and carrying out assassinations of several
00:03:27.220 top nuclear scientists and other high-ranking military officials.
00:03:31.780 Late Saturday night, well after American military assets safely exited Iranian airspace,
00:03:37.880 President Trump announcing the surprise mission first on Truth Social,
00:03:41.580 then delivering remarks from the White House.
00:03:43.680 Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the
00:03:51.080 nuclear threat posed by the world's number one state sponsor of terror.
00:03:55.940 Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success.
00:04:04.240 Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated.
00:04:09.160 Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace.
00:04:14.160 If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.
00:04:18.720 Remember, there are many targets left.
00:04:21.920 Tonight's was the most difficult of them all, by far, and perhaps the most lethal.
00:04:28.060 But if peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision,
00:04:33.920 speed, and skill.
00:04:35.080 Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dan Raisin-Cain, on Sunday, describing the highly
00:04:40.340 complex operation employing bunker busters to take out the nuclear facilities.
00:04:45.360 A large B-2 strike package comprised of bombers launched from the continental United States.
00:04:51.380 As part of a plan to maintain tactical surprise, part of the package proceeded to the west and
00:04:57.440 into the Pacific as a decoy.
00:04:59.400 The main strike package comprised of seven B-2 Spirit bombers, each with two crew members,
00:05:05.900 proceeded quietly to the east with minimal communications.
00:05:10.340 Throughout the 18-hour flight into the target area, the aircraft completed multiple in-flight
00:05:16.040 refuelings.
00:05:17.800 Once over land, the B-2s linked up with escort and support aircraft in a complex, tightly timed
00:05:25.400 maneuver requiring exact synchronization across multiple platforms in a narrow piece of airspace,
00:05:32.720 all done with minimal communications.
00:05:36.440 And just prior to the strike package entering Iran, a U.S. submarine in the central command
00:05:42.160 area of responsibility launched more than two dozen Tomahawk land-attack cruise missiles
00:05:47.780 against key surface infrastructure targets at Esfahan.
00:05:51.980 At approximately 6.40 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 2.10 a.m. Iran time, the lead B-2 dropped
00:06:01.660 two GBU-57 massive ordnance penetrator weapons on the first of several aim points at Fordow, with
00:06:10.600 a total of 14 mops dropped against two nuclear target areas.
00:06:16.020 All three Iranian nuclear infrastructure targets were struck between 6.40 p.m. and 7.05 p.m.
00:06:25.520 Eastern Time.
00:06:26.340 Again, that's about 2.10 in the morning local time in Iran, with the Tomahawk missiles being
00:06:32.400 the last to strike at Esfahan to ensure we retain the element of surprise throughout the
00:06:39.160 operation.
00:06:39.760 In total, U.S. forces employed approximately 75 precision-guided weapons during this operation.
00:06:47.160 This included 14 30,000-pound GBU-57 massive ordnance penetrators, marking the first-ever
00:06:55.360 operational use of this weapon.
00:06:58.100 General Cain saying the operation involved more than 125 U.S. aircraft, calling it the largest
00:07:04.140 B-2 strike in history, and noting U.S. forces in the region remain on high alert, ready to
00:07:10.320 react to any retaliation by Iran or its proxies.
00:07:13.640 The general saying plans for the mission were limited to a very small circle, with very few
00:07:18.900 people informed of the timing or nature of the mission.
00:07:22.620 Last Thursday, President Trump announcing he would decide what to do within the next two
00:07:26.960 weeks.
00:07:27.320 The Washington Post, reporting a senior administration official, now says that was part of an attempt
00:07:33.560 to throw the Iranians off guard.
00:07:36.120 The Iranian foreign ministry releasing a lengthy statement in response to the bombing, condemning
00:07:40.960 the action, calling it, quote, a grave and unprecedented violation of the fundamental principles of the
00:07:46.560 Charter of the U.N. and international law.
00:07:50.180 Iranian President Massoud Pazeshkian saying, quote, the Americans must receive a response to
00:07:55.600 their aggression. And an advisor to the supreme leader of Iran, all but giving up the ruse of
00:08:01.860 wanting enriched uranium for energy purposes, posting on X, quote, even if the sites were
00:08:08.220 completely destroyed, the game is far from over. Enriched materials, domestic expertise and
00:08:14.700 political will are still intact. Secretary of State Marco Rubio pushing back on Iranian claims that
00:08:20.980 enriched nuclear materials were moved prior to the strike.
00:08:24.960 No one will know for sure for days, but I doubt they moved it because you really can't move
00:08:28.960 anything right now. And they can't move anything right now inside of Iran. I mean,
00:08:32.700 the minute a truck starts driving somewhere, the Israelis have seen it and they've targeted it
00:08:36.380 and taken it out. So our assessment is we have to assume that that's a lot of 60 percent in rich
00:08:41.200 uranium buried deep under the ground there in Esfahan. They should bring it out of the ground
00:08:45.220 and turn it over.
00:08:46.820 The New York Times reporting that Israeli officials do believe, based on satellite imagery from the days
00:08:51.920 prior to the strikes, that the Iranians did move some uranium and equipment from the Fordow facility.
00:08:58.760 The Times reporting satellite images from Maxar Technologies from around this time show 16 cargo
00:09:04.800 trucks positioned near an entrance to the facility, though it is unclear what exactly, if anything,
00:09:10.080 was removed. A U.S. official telling the Times it would have been unrealistic to completely move all of
00:09:16.900 the equipment out of Fordow in the days since Israel began its strikes. The Iranian parliament approving
00:09:23.320 the closure of the Strait of Hormuz in response to the bombings, but leaving the final decision on
00:09:28.460 whether to actually close the Strait to Iran's Supreme National Security Council. According to the
00:09:33.900 New York Post, about 20 percent of the world's oil flows through the narrow shipping channel.
00:09:39.040 Vice President J.D. Vance warning the move would be economic suicide for the Iranians.
00:09:43.520 President Trump under fire from some on the political left and right for his bold move.
00:09:49.220 Democrat Congresswoman from Texas Jasmine Crockett and U.S. Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders
00:09:54.420 calling it an unconstitutional act of war.
00:09:57.780 The mofo that resides in the White House has unilaterally, in my estimation, declared war.
00:10:09.120 We have a constitution that seemingly does not matter.
00:10:13.740 Not only is this news that I've just heard the second alarming that all of you have just heard,
00:10:20.220 but it is so grossly unconstitutional. All of you know that the only entity that can take this
00:10:28.560 country to war is the U.S. Congress. The president does not have the right.
00:10:33.600 Congresswoman AOC calling the move grounds for impeachment. National Review's Andy McCarthy
00:10:40.160 concluding President Trump had all the authorization he needed for these bombings,
00:10:44.840 thanks to the post-9-11 Authorization for Use of Military Force, or AUMF,
00:10:50.620 which has been used by many presidents to justify strikes against our enemies.
00:10:56.060 A small number of Democrats supporting the action publicly. Democratic Senator from Pennsylvania
00:11:00.760 John Fetterman, posting to X, quote, as I have long maintained, this was the correct move by POTUS.
00:11:07.580 Democrat Congressman from New York, Richie Torres, saying in a statement, quote,
00:11:11.280 no one truly committed to nuclear nonproliferation should mourn the fall of Fordow. Some in the MAGA
00:11:17.760 world also skeptical of the strike, fearing wider conflict with Iran. Republican Congresswoman from
00:11:23.620 Georgia, Marjorie Taylor Greene, posting, quote, I can also support President Trump and his great
00:11:29.020 administration on many of the great things they are doing while disagreeing on bombing Iran and
00:11:34.220 getting involved in a hot war that Israel started. Israel, of course, was actually attacked by the
00:11:40.580 Iranian-backed Hamas on 10-7-23. Vice President J.D. Vance addressing some of these concerns on NBC on
00:11:49.040 Sunday laying out a path for peace. No, Kristen, we're not at war with Iran. We're at war with Iran's
00:11:55.280 nuclear program. And if they leave American troops out of it and they decide to give up their nuclear
00:12:00.980 weapons program once and for all, then I think the president has been very clear we can have a good
00:12:05.580 relationship with the Iranians. It was only when the president decided that the Iranians were not
00:12:11.160 negotiating in good faith that he took this action. But I actually think it provides an opportunity
00:12:15.360 to reset this relationship, reset these negotiations, and get us in a place where Iran can decide not to
00:12:23.140 be a threat to its neighbors, not to be a threat to the United States. I certainly empathize with
00:12:28.160 Americans who are exhausted after 25 years of foreign entanglements in the Middle East. This is not
00:12:33.920 going to be some long, drawn-out thing. We've got in. We've done the job of setting their nuclear
00:12:38.880 program back. We're going to now work to permanently dismantle that nuclear program over the coming years.
00:12:44.640 And that is what the president has set out to do. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth saying in a
00:12:50.640 Pentagon press briefing, the U.S. does not intend to conduct regime change in Iran. Secretary of
00:12:56.540 State Marco Rubio echoing those comments Sunday on CBS. This mission was not and has not been about
00:13:03.100 regime change. The president authorized a precision operation to neutralize the threats to our national
00:13:10.360 interests posed by the Iranian nuclear program. In this particular case, what we are focused on is
00:13:16.380 not the changing of the regime. OK, that's up to the Iranian people if they want to do that. But that's
00:13:20.460 not what we're focused on. President Trump, however, posting to Truth Social late Sunday, quote,
00:13:25.100 it's not politically correct to use the term regime change. But if the current Iranian regime is unable
00:13:31.480 to make Iran great again, why wouldn't there be a regime change? MAGA. M-I-G-A, a play obviously on
00:13:40.740 MAGA. Mr. Trump leaving it unclear whether he meant the Iranian people should want regime change
00:13:46.800 or whether the USA might help it happen. Coming up, the latest details on the Sean Diddy Combs trial.
00:13:59.360 Trust in the media is at an all time low. And let's be honest, it's no mystery why. We have
00:14:04.740 all seen how stories are twisted, buried or outright ignored, depending on who's in charge or what
00:14:09.280 narrative they want you to believe. But now there's Ground News, an app and website that gathers related
00:14:14.660 articles from around the world in one place, highlighting each source's political bias and
00:14:19.260 corporate influence. Ground News created their blind spot feed to expose important stories
00:14:24.160 receiving lopsided coverage and reveal how media narratives shape the conversation. And now you get
00:14:29.900 40 percent off the same unlimited access to their website and app through the Vantage plan, which you
00:14:35.260 can use to find the truth. Ground News is independent and supported by subscribers, not corporate

00:14:47.940 to take back control of the news you consume. Week seven of the Sean Diddy Combs criminal trial
00:14:55.960 beginning today in New York. Prosecutors originally set to rest the case on Friday, but facing a delay
00:15:01.740 after a juror called in sick one day last week, now likely to rest their case today. So far, about three
00:15:08.320 dozen witnesses called to testify in the sex trafficking and racketeering case against the
00:15:12.540 Mogul following six days of harrowing testimony from alleged Combs victim Jane, who testified under
00:15:18.580 a pseudonym, a Homeland Security expert testifying on June 13th to seizing 900 bottles of Astroglide
00:15:25.960 lubricant and 200 bottles of baby oil from Combs' L.A. residence in March 2024. Star witness Cassie
00:15:33.100 Ventura and Jane previously testifying to using copious amounts of both products while engaging in
00:15:39.040 prolonged graphic sex acts with male escorts at the behest of Combs, these events known as freak-offs,
00:15:45.480 hotel nights, or debauchery. A former personal assistant to Combs, Jonathan Perez, testifying on
00:15:51.640 June 13th to carrying large amounts of money and drugs for the Mogul. Perez also saying he believed
00:15:57.660 Jane was a willing participant in the hotel nights. Last week, prosecutors showing the jury clips of
00:16:03.500 the so-called freak-offs between Combs and Ventura, cutting together clips from 2012 to 2014. The jury
00:16:10.700 viewing the graphic footage from screens facing away from other members inside the courtroom,
00:16:15.720 including wearing headphones. Journalists in the courtroom reporting some members of the jury
00:16:20.660 stoically viewing the tapes, others showing visible signs of disgust on their faces. The judge ruling
00:16:26.580 the videos must remain under seal due to their explicit nature. Cassie Ventura previously testifying
00:16:32.620 that Combs once threatened to release the videos, saying, quote, I feared for my career. I feared for
00:16:38.020 my family. It's horrible and disgusting. No one should do that to anyone. On Friday, former assistant and
00:16:44.860 alleged drug mule for Combs, Brendan Paul, taking the stand, testifying after having been given
00:16:51.400 criminal immunity. Paul testifying to working for Combs from 2022 to March 25th, 2024, when he was
00:16:58.940 arrested at a Miami airport for possession of cocaine. Paul testifying to removing the cocaine from
00:17:05.080 Combs' room, placing it in his own bag, then forgetting to remove it before heading to the airport.
00:17:11.360 The witness saying he often worked long hours for Combs, typically 80 to 100 hours per week.
00:17:16.400 As an assistant, Paul saying he would frequently travel ahead of Combs in order to set up his boss's
00:17:22.000 hotel rooms. Paul testifying Combs expected his assistants to operate like SEAL Team 6 and also
00:17:28.900 saying he had been fired two or three times by Combs during his tenure. Paul testifying to purchasing
00:17:34.560 drugs for Combs on several occasions, including large quantities of marijuana every two months and
00:17:39.360 sometimes other drugs. In February 2024, Combs messaged Paul, asking him to get Xanax. Paul
00:17:46.360 responding he was not able to because Combs did not have a prescription. Paul testifying to cleaning
00:17:51.760 up after a few of Combs' hotel nights, which he says former Combs Chief of Staff Christina Corum called,
00:17:58.660 quote, wild king nights. The witness saying he understood wild king nights to involve partying,
00:18:04.920 alcohol, sex, and drugs. This is all part of the government's attempt to show that Combs was
00:18:10.220 operating a criminal enterprise involving multiple members of his staff. Paul attesting to wearing
00:18:16.180 gloves while cleaning up after those nights, quote, for sanitary reasons. On cross-examination,
00:18:21.900 Paul saying he absolutely was not a drug mule for Combs. Paul saying he spoke to Jane after almost
00:18:27.640 every hotel night, saying he never saw anything that made him believe she was not a willing
00:18:32.080 participant. Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Joseph Circiello will continue
00:18:38.320 testifying later today after first taking the stand on Friday. Prosecutors calling on him to
00:18:44.040 link together various records of evidence compiled by the prosecution, connecting the dots between
00:18:49.180 locations, transportation records, text messages, financial records, and more. Once the prosecution
00:18:56.300 rests, defense attorney Mark Agnifolo says the defense expects to present a short case resting on
00:19:02.060 either Tuesday or Wednesday. They have not yet indicated whether Combs will take the stand,
00:19:06.760 but most legal experts do not expect that at all. And that'll do it for today's AM update. I'm
