Transcript

00:00:00.600 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, live on Sirius XM Channel 111 every weekday at noon east.
00:00:12.380 Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show. I'm back home today after hosting Charlie Kirk's show yesterday in Arizona.
00:00:20.180 An experience that was emotional and honestly it was cathartic. I think it was cathartic for me and I think some of the folks at Turning Point felt that way.
00:00:28.220 Just that we had the chance to sit around Charlie's desk and share some fun stories about him.
00:00:33.420 You know, it was, of all the dark days since he died, that was less dark, right?
00:00:40.060 Because we, you know, we had the chance to sit around and remember what we loved about him and some of the silly things about him.
00:00:47.060 And I learned a lot about him that I didn't know.
00:00:50.000 And anyway, it was an important trip for me personally and I loved, loved, loved meeting his staff.
00:00:57.280 That the organization is in great hands.
00:01:01.540 Erica can do this and that staff, hand selected by Charlie, can do it with her.
00:01:08.740 So we're good. We're all going to have to chip in and help, but we're good.
00:01:13.320 We are going to talk about Charlie's life and legacy today ahead of his memorial service on Sunday,
00:01:18.400 which will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
00:01:21.160 That's home of the Arizona's, the Arizona NFL team.
00:01:24.720 And we're going to do that in our second hour.
00:01:28.760 And really a special man is joining us, an advisor, a friend, a mentor to Charlie who was with him when he died.
00:01:36.660 And he'll walk us through their relationship, what this means, a man of faith, and what he saw.
00:01:42.620 And we've also got some new details about Jimmy Kimmel being taken off the air for his ghoulish remarks about Charlie's death and MAGA supporters.
00:01:51.420 And I'm just going to tee that up for you.
00:01:52.900 Steve Mannen is going to join us in a minute.
00:01:54.360 But he'll be here in a couple of minutes.
00:01:56.880 But let me just tell you the latest on what's happening.
00:01:59.680 When inflation jumps, when you hear the national debt is over $37 trillion,
00:02:04.020 do you ever think maybe now would be a good time to buy some gold?
00:02:07.000 Well, you'd be right.
00:02:08.080 Whether as a hedge against inflation, peace of mind during global instability,
00:02:11.740 or just for sensible diversification, Birch Gold Group believes every American should own physical gold.
00:02:17.260 And so they created something special.
00:02:19.240 Until September 30th, if you're a first-time gold buyer,
00:02:22.000 Birch Gold is offering a rebate of up to $10,000 in free metals on qualifying purchases.
00:02:28.000 To claim eligibility and start the process, request an info kit right now.
00:02:32.300 Just text MK to 989898.
00:02:34.780 Plus, Birch Gold can help you roll an existing IRA or 401k into an IRA in gold.
00:02:40.100 And you're still eligible for a rebate in free metals up to $10,000.
00:02:44.160 So make right now your first time to buy gold.
00:02:46.440 And take advantage of a rebate up to $10,000 when you buy before September 30th.
00:02:52.420 Text MK to the number 989898 to claim your eligibility and get your free info kit.
00:02:58.320 So the reports broke last night, mostly,
00:03:02.560 that there were multiple reasons why Jimmy Kimmel was pulled off the air.
00:03:06.740 But chief among them was,
00:03:08.580 not only was he not planning on apologizing when he was going to go back out on his show Wednesday evening,
00:03:14.560 he was planning on attacking MAGA.
00:03:19.760 Attacking.
00:03:20.880 Words, my words are being purposefully twisted,
00:03:24.020 he was planning on saying,
00:03:26.380 per a report in the Wall Street Journal.
00:03:28.820 See, it's our fault
00:03:29.980 that we didn't understand
00:03:31.580 that really he was supposed to
00:03:33.300 be super supportive of MAGA.
00:03:35.760 He wasn't pointing the finger at MAGA.
00:03:37.660 Just a reminder for those of you who hadn't heard them,
00:03:40.640 here's what he said on Monday night that caused the trouble.
00:03:44.800 Sat one.
00:03:46.480 We hit some new lows over the weekend
00:03:48.440 with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize
00:03:51.480 this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them
00:03:55.520 and doing everything they can
00:03:56.820 to score political points from it.
00:04:00.340 Unbelievable.
00:04:00.960 I mean, like, every word there was untrue.
00:04:02.680 Like, literally every word he said was false.
00:04:05.100 And an intentional smear.
00:04:07.000 And the shooter had nothing whatsoever to do with MAGA, which he knew.
00:04:10.940 And I'll tell you how I know he knew.
00:04:16.080 Jimmy Kimmel has made perfectly clear in the past
00:04:20.640 that he's factual.
00:04:23.200 He's super factual.
00:04:24.700 Is this a sot, guys, or is this just a quote?
00:04:28.620 But he got into his own little dispute
00:04:32.380 with Aaron Rodgers, the football player,
00:04:35.820 who had suggested Jimmy Kimmel might be on the Epstein list.
00:04:39.620 And Jimmy Kimmel was very upset about that allegation.
00:04:42.580 And Jimmy Kimmel went out on his show
00:04:44.460 and said the following in January of 2024.
00:04:49.740 He decided to insinuate that I am a pedophile.
00:04:52.720 This is how these nuts do it now.
00:04:53.940 You don't like Trump, you're a pedophile.
00:04:55.740 It's their go-to move.
00:04:57.080 And it shows you how much they actually care about pedophilia.
00:04:59.680 And as far as the, well, you say things about people all the time argument goes,
00:05:03.900 yes, I do.
00:05:04.500 It's not the same.
00:05:05.480 It's not even close to the same.
00:05:07.080 We say a lot of things on this show.
00:05:08.820 We don't make up lies.
00:05:10.080 In fact, we have a team of people who work very hard to sift through facts and reputable sources
00:05:15.660 before I make a joke.
00:05:17.020 And that's an important distinction because the truth still matters.
00:05:20.160 And when I do get something wrong, which happens on rare occasions,
00:05:23.700 you know what I do?
00:05:24.160 I apologize for it, which is what Aaron Rodgers should do, which is what a decent person would do.
00:05:29.740 So he is what we would call in the law a fucking liar because he says he has a team of fact checkers
00:05:39.200 that don't allow him to say lies and that if he errs, he'll go out there and apologize and clear it up.
00:05:48.060 But he was entirely wrong in trying to blame this shooting on MAGA and saying this shooter was affiliated with MAGA or one of theirs.
00:05:57.240 And he knew it.
00:05:59.020 And the reason I know he knew it is because he says he has a team of researchers that researches every fact before he says it on his show.
00:06:07.480 And what we knew as of Monday night was that this shooter, while yes, he had Republican parents,
00:06:13.920 do your parents, does their party registration dictate what you're going to be?
00:06:18.700 Oh, if only, if only.
00:06:21.720 No, that what matters is what were his politics.
00:06:24.420 That's what we're looking for here and most specifically his motive.
00:06:27.380 We know that this was a unaffiliated voter.
00:06:29.660 That's how he was registered, this shooter.
00:06:31.500 We knew that his own mother said that he had gone leftward.
00:06:34.660 We didn't yet have the mother saying he had latched on to pro-gay and pro-trans ideology.
00:06:39.900 That came another day later.
00:06:41.480 Fine.
00:06:41.740 But we knew that he was living with somebody who is transitioning male to female.
00:06:47.280 That he, Tyler, was into, quote, furry culture.
00:06:51.120 That the man he is living with was also dressed like a, quote, furry, which is an anthropomorphic, I don't know, human slash animal type character that people have weird sexual fetishes around.
00:07:05.820 Don't go there.
00:07:06.780 It's closely linked to the trans community.
00:07:08.600 That's what you need to know.
00:07:09.500 We know that the Utah governor had said he was driven by leftist ideology.
00:07:15.360 We know that the bullet casings had leftist messages on them like anti-fascist catch, hear fascist catch, an anti-fascist song, and the notices bulges, O-W-O, which is another, it's a reference to furry culture once again.
00:07:33.040 All of that, of course, spells leftist to anybody with eyes and ears and a brain.
00:07:40.100 And by the way, we didn't even have to go that far.
00:07:41.640 All you needed to know was that Charlie Kirk got shot at one of the Charlie Kirk events, and you knew it was someone who hated Charlie Kirk because of his politics.
00:07:50.240 That was obvious.
00:07:52.420 Only leftist trying to deny any connection to the shooter or his ideology or what infected his mind would deny that.
00:07:58.840 So he knew, he knew because he had his team of fact checkers who knew all the things I just said, because I know them, and I too am into facts.
00:08:08.960 And I learned them from the same news sources he had access to or his fact checkers did, which is how I know it was an intentional lie that he told on the air on Monday night.
00:08:19.080 And the other reason I know it was an intentional lie was by the time we got into Tuesday, we did hear from the mother.
00:08:24.520 We saw the indictment.
00:08:25.760 We saw all of the things that were alleged at that press conference, specifically with the mother saying leftist ideology, the gay thing, the trans thing, which we knew.
00:08:33.660 We knew it was just more evidence, but whatever.
00:08:35.760 It got even more airtight.
00:08:36.940 Right. And here's what he did on Tuesday night.
00:08:40.680 On Tuesday night, already the controversy had blown up.
00:08:44.320 And what did he say?
00:08:45.640 Did he go out Tuesday night to apologize, to say, I got it wrong.
00:08:48.760 Let me correct it.
00:08:49.500 Well, let's listen in.
00:08:50.460 Stop two.
00:08:52.020 Many in Magaland are working very hard to capitalize on the murder of Charlie Kirk.
00:08:57.320 The president and his henchmen are doing their best to fan the flames so they can, I guess, attack people on the dangerous left.
00:09:04.840 Which is it? Are the dangerous?
00:09:06.960 Are they a bunch of sissy pickleball players because they're too scared to get hit by tennis balls or a well-organized deadly team of commandos?
00:09:15.020 Because they can't be both of those things.
00:09:17.300 Unfortunately, it can, and it is.
00:09:21.040 You have a super big tent for wackos over there on the left.
00:09:24.860 Jimmy.
00:09:25.120 You do have weak-kneed, soy boy, skater, scooter types who, yeah, would much more likely be on the pickle court than the tennis court.
00:09:34.880 But there's nothing wrong with pickle.
00:09:37.060 And then you do have the Antifa types.
00:09:40.280 And you have the radical types who absolutely would take a gun, lie down on a rooftop, and try to kill the next president of the United States.
00:09:49.260 And by the way, that description applies both to Trump and to Charlie.
00:09:56.140 Everyone knows Charlie was going to be president one day.
00:09:58.400 You could see it just upon shaking the man's hand.
00:10:02.080 It's your side, Jimmy, that does that.
00:10:04.100 Yeah.
00:10:04.360 And it's your side that's feminizing men right out of their non-toxic masculinity, out of their masculinity, period.
00:10:11.500 So that was his message on Tuesday night.
00:10:13.620 Tuesday night, he's still attacking MAGA.
00:10:17.720 Attacking MAGA as working very hard to capitalize on the murder of Charlie Kirk.
00:10:22.020 We want to capitalize.
00:10:22.860 We're in mourning, you fucking asshole.
00:10:25.380 We're not capitalizing on the death of Charlie.
00:10:27.140 We're in mourning.
00:10:28.900 You leftist losers are out there trying to blame us for his death, trying to disparage his legacy.
00:10:35.440 And we're trying to correct you.
00:10:36.960 And we're trying to correct the record.
00:10:38.200 And for once, we're fighting back.
00:10:39.920 That's what you're talking about.
00:10:41.240 You're just not used to it.
00:10:42.420 You've crossed a line that we're not willing to let you cross without a fight.
00:10:47.500 We usually blow you lunatics off as a fringe who we can't even respond to rationally.
00:10:54.220 But it's beyond that now.
00:10:57.120 So we get to Wednesday.
00:10:59.860 And Disney and ABC are now in meltdown because, according to The Hollywood Reporter, The Wall Street Journal, CNN,
00:11:06.480 the phone lines were ringing off the hooks, both at ABC, at Disney, which owns ABC, of course, and at the affiliates.
00:11:17.480 Right?
00:11:17.880 Because you've got the big ABC, you know, the headquarters where they make Good Morning America and all that.
00:11:23.460 And then they have affiliates across the nation that bring you local news and so on.
00:11:27.600 And they carry the ABC programming.
00:11:29.960 They don't produce it.
00:11:31.060 They kind of get it because they're ABC programs.
00:11:34.300 And they have independent obligations under the law when it comes to the FCC and independent standards of taste and so on.
00:11:39.840 And they were their phone lines were getting burned up, too.
00:11:43.560 And so they were upset.
00:11:47.000 They, too, are feeling the vibe shift that we felt since Trump's election.
00:11:51.720 And they've had it with this nonstop pinko commie leftist programming up and down their airwaves from the view in the morning straight through to Kimmel in the evening.
00:12:01.380 And don't even get me started on David Muir.
00:12:03.220 Sure. And then you had Brendan Carr go on Benny Johnson's podcast and say, you know, enough is enough.
00:12:14.840 Like, these affiliates actually do need to take seriously their obligation of protecting the public interest when they decide what goes on their airwaves.
00:12:23.880 And they should stand up.
00:12:25.020 Should.
00:12:25.340 It was him saying, look, we can do this a hard way or we can do this the easy way, which sounded like I will get involved if I have to.
00:12:31.920 But he hadn't yet.
00:12:33.220 He hadn't.
00:12:34.440 He had used words saying hard way, easy way.
00:12:36.480 We'll see.
00:12:37.200 And then they all started calling ABC saying, we're out.
00:12:39.840 We do not want Jimmy Kimmel.
00:12:41.160 We're out.
00:12:41.820 We're not airing him tonight.
00:12:43.400 Yes, there was the one group, Nextar, which does have a merger that it needs FCC approval on.
00:12:50.040 Got it.
00:12:51.000 But then came Sinclair.
00:12:52.300 They don't.
00:12:53.440 They don't have a merger.
00:12:54.060 They felt exactly as Nextar did.
00:12:55.780 We don't want him.
00:12:57.280 And we certainly don't want him going back out there.
00:12:59.160 Now we find out.
00:13:00.000 And not only tripling down on the message, but turning it into yet another attack on MAGA.
00:13:07.640 He was going to attack MAGA again.
00:13:10.600 He was going to go out there and say, my words are being purposefully twisted by MAGA.
00:13:15.860 Here's how Elizabeth Wagmeister, a reporter on CNN, described his plan.
00:13:21.780 Jimmy wanted to go on his show last night, and in his monologue, I hear that he wanted to address
00:13:28.760 the backlash from the right regarding his commentary about Charlie Kirk's charged killer.
00:13:35.740 And I hear that that monologue was very hot.
00:13:39.040 It very much took aim at MAGA.
00:13:41.260 And that is when the executive said, we can't have him go on the air tonight.
00:13:45.620 Yeah, so Disney pulled the plug.
00:13:50.900 They called Jimmy.
00:13:53.100 They had been speaking to him for hours, saying, could you please tone it down, you complete loser.
00:13:59.300 Those are my words.
00:14:00.840 And he wouldn't.
00:14:02.800 So you know what?
00:14:03.540 They said, you don't own ABC.
00:14:06.040 You don't own Disney.
00:14:07.340 And we are indefinitely suspending you until you can get your shit back together.
00:14:13.200 He's not fired.
00:14:13.920 We actually don't know how this is going to end.
00:14:16.400 And that is the series of events that has led to the leftist meltdown now.
00:14:20.760 And literally, T-shirts, we're all Jimmy Kimmel.
00:14:23.900 I am Jimmy Kimmel.
00:14:24.860 As though they've lost, like Charlie, they're actually equating their loss of Jimmy Kimmel
00:14:31.160 on his loser show, which no one watched, to our loss of Charlie Kirk.
00:14:36.680 These people are sick.
00:14:38.820 And no one knows that better than Steve Bannon.
00:14:41.420 He's host of Steve Bannon's War Room.
00:14:42.860 Steve, welcome back.
00:14:43.900 What do you make of it all?
00:14:46.020 Thanks, Megan.
00:14:46.660 Well, I think it's typical.
00:14:47.600 This is why I say, you know, we're kind of at a civil war here.
00:14:50.640 And we're the peaceful ones that want to do it through political power.
00:14:54.040 They're the vital ones.
00:14:55.020 And there's no area to compromise.
00:14:59.520 I mean, you can just see what's happened this week.
00:15:01.220 Remember, Kimmel, and I think Ellison at CBS ought to pull, they've already fired him,
00:15:07.740 but they ought to pull Colbert off the network right away.
00:15:11.340 And I think we have to get more aggressive at the federal government level at the Election
00:15:15.260 Commission.
00:15:15.640 I would argue that Colbert and Kimmel are essentially in-kind payments to the Democrat Party.
00:15:22.320 Yes.
00:15:22.700 Colbert is bad as Kimmel.
00:15:23.920 And if you think about it, he loses.
00:15:25.940 Megan, think about it a second.
00:15:27.040 You've done TV for so long.
00:15:29.200 The Steve Colbert show costs $100 million a year to produce.
00:15:34.320 Produce.
00:15:35.040 They take in 60 in revenue.
00:15:36.980 They lose 40.
00:15:38.400 I would say that that $40 million is a donation, an in-kind donation to the Democrat Party,
00:15:43.840 because these guys are political operatives.
00:15:46.440 They're political messaging.
00:15:47.680 This is not humor.
00:15:48.640 This is not being cute or funny.
00:15:50.560 There was nothing that Kimmel said.
00:15:52.900 That's what Brendan Carr said.
00:15:54.140 Now, the power of the MAGA movement and to continue to burn the phone lines up, not just
00:15:59.440 at corporate, but at your local TV station, is the affiliates, particularly Dave Smith
00:16:04.420 and the guys over there that are not doing a merger.
00:16:06.400 He's already done a consolidation.
00:16:08.420 Remember, the affiliates make their money from the local tire ads and the car dealerships
00:16:13.300 and the gardening groups and the florists and the people like the Orkin people coming
00:16:18.080 to your house.
00:16:18.660 All those local spots really add up for the affiliates.
00:16:22.600 And when people are saying, no, you're not going to attack half the nation or 55% of the
00:16:26.460 nation, this is capitalism at work.
00:16:29.000 It's kind of the reason Howard Stern's on the ropes.
00:16:30.900 These guys are all woke and they are more than just liberals from the past or progressives
00:16:36.200 from the past.
00:16:36.920 They push this neo-Marxism of Herbert Marcuse, which Andrew Breitbart was so brilliant and
00:16:44.280 explained to us, the Frankfurt School.
00:16:45.960 And you've got critical theory, critical race theory.
00:16:48.660 Now, what is it?
00:16:49.800 Queer theory.
00:16:51.120 It's destroying the substrate of our society and our culture.
00:16:56.520 It's embedded in the schools.
00:16:58.560 It's what these kids are taught from kindergarten on.
00:17:01.240 I would actually argue that Weingarten, these people are almost domestic terrorists themselves
00:17:05.860 and what they're doing and forming.
00:17:07.520 And essentially, they've turned these schools into a neo-Marxist madrasa.
00:17:11.840 And that's what you're seeing when you look at, you know, when you look at what's happening
00:17:15.540 with these kids, the alleged shooter and his boyfriend and all that, it's sick and depraved
00:17:20.160 beyond, you know, comprehension.
00:17:22.260 And it's got to be stopped.
00:17:23.580 And the only way we're going to stop it, it's not debating, it's not, you know, Charlie
00:17:27.980 Kirk did that and changed the direction of this country and they shot him in cold blood
00:17:32.740 and killed him because he was a voice of reason.
00:17:35.460 So it's now time for the Megyn Kellys and the Steve Bannons of the world who are the voice
00:17:40.100 of not reason, right?
00:17:42.380 We're not reasonable people.
00:17:44.460 We don't pretend to be reasonable.
00:17:46.280 We want victory.
00:17:47.220 We'll unify and have a group hug after we win.
00:17:50.140 And on our terms, we'll have the group hug.
00:17:52.380 Not until that moment.
00:17:53.880 Yeah.
00:17:54.460 I want to tell the audience that some of the left are trying to get Perry Sook, who's the
00:17:58.940 head of Nextar Media Group, again, that went to Disney and said, we're not airing Jimmy
00:18:04.400 Kimmel.
00:18:04.640 We're not doing it.
00:18:05.300 He's trying to get this guy harassed to the point where he stands down.
00:18:08.000 I know Perry Sook.
00:18:08.780 He's a good man.
00:18:09.700 He should not be harassed.
00:18:10.820 I urge you to call this number, which they're distributing through leftist media to try to harass
00:18:15.620 him and tell them how much we support what Perry did.
00:18:20.420 We stand with Perry.
00:18:21.700 We do not want Kimmel back.
00:18:23.280 The number is 972-373-8800.
00:18:26.520 972-373-8800.
00:18:28.960 Let them know that you support their decision.
00:18:31.060 We don't want Jimmy Kimmel.
00:18:32.100 We don't want someone who's smearing and endangering MAGA with vile lies on the air every night.
00:18:38.740 And then when called to his attention, tripling down over and over, notwithstanding the threats.
00:18:43.440 He didn't, he doesn't care about us and Jimmy Kimmel, that is.
00:18:46.340 And we should enforce this guy that we have his back, that we, we will keep watching Nextar
00:18:51.140 because they did take a principled stand.
00:18:53.620 You mentioned Colbert.
00:18:55.220 Here's what he said.
00:18:56.220 This is, there's something very interesting in this soundbite.
00:18:58.360 Listen here, Asad 11.
00:19:00.320 Tonight, we are all Jimmy Kimmel.
00:19:02.540 Yesterday, after threats from Trump's FCC chair, ABC yanked Kimmel off the air indefinitely.
00:19:10.120 That is blatant censorship.
00:19:12.780 But with an autocrat, you cannot give an inch.
00:19:16.300 Carr went on a podcast yesterday afternoon and described Jimmy's comments as the sickest conduct possible.
00:19:23.080 Wow.
00:19:24.200 Those are strong words.
00:19:25.620 I mean, Jimmy must have really been off the rails.
00:19:28.300 I mean, completely out of control.
00:19:29.940 Truly psychotic.
00:19:31.100 Fuck, let's, let's see what he said.
00:19:33.420 We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize
00:19:38.020 this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything
00:19:42.820 they can to score political points from it.
00:19:45.640 In between the finger pointing, there was a grieving.
00:19:49.640 Is that the clip?
00:19:52.420 Really?
00:19:53.900 Because that's just Jimmy Kimmel.
00:19:56.220 I mean, given the FCC's response, I was expecting something more, you know, provocative.
00:20:00.440 That's like hearing that Playboy has a racy new centerfold and finding out it's just Jimmy
00:20:05.040 Kimmel.
00:20:07.900 I totally agree with him.
00:20:10.020 That is just Jimmy Kimmel.
00:20:11.900 That's the problem, Steve.
00:20:14.200 Nailed it.
00:20:15.040 You nailed it.
00:20:15.720 That's it right there.
00:20:16.460 He said the quiet part out loud.
00:20:18.100 That's what Kimmel and he's been doing.
00:20:19.680 This is why I say, Megan, it's a it's an in-kind donation to the Democratic Party.
00:20:24.080 We would that the FEC ought to bring a massive lawsuit.
00:20:27.020 I calculate back of the envelope that Colbert is a four hundred million dollar minimum contribution
00:20:32.940 to the Democratic Party night after night after night after night.
00:20:35.880 Kimmel's the same way.
00:20:36.680 I'll do the same thing.
00:20:37.900 Let's just go for it.
00:20:38.620 We we cannot have half measures right now.
00:20:42.120 We have to have a maximalist strategy move with a sense of urgency and understand we have
00:20:46.760 to seize the institutions.
00:20:47.860 If we're to save this country and I will tell you, with President Trump in the greatest
00:20:52.320 comeback in history, the House, the Senate, the Supreme Court, it's it's still a pretty
00:20:58.000 dark night.
00:20:58.760 Given everything President Trump's done, we're still in a in a very dark night right now.
00:21:03.160 You can't see that.
00:21:04.840 So you can't see the dawn and you certainly can't see the sunlit uplands.
00:21:08.000 And so we have to fight harder than ever right now.
00:21:11.020 And as I said, when Charlie invited me to the Tampa Student Action Summit, I gave the
00:21:18.480 speech on taking down the administrative in the deep state.
00:21:21.240 Right.
00:21:21.460 I call them the Tampa Resolves.
00:21:23.260 The last one was who's not with us is against us.
00:21:26.740 Right.
00:21:26.960 And so right now, if you're not if you're if you're just not cut out for this, that's
00:21:30.900 fine.
00:21:31.340 I have I have no problem.
00:21:32.520 You have to do what your own conscience says.
00:21:34.220 But you see the nonviolence that that that we have no burning of buildings, no riots in
00:21:39.740 the streets, nothing, but we must maximize political power right now while we have the
00:21:45.700 opportunity.
00:21:46.240 And that's why we have to have a maximalist strategy and you have to throw the book out
00:21:49.320 of me.
00:21:49.540 They need to be sued and they need to and they need to be run off.
00:21:53.640 Colbert Ellison should pull Colbert tonight from CBS for his arrogance and his hate.
00:22:01.460 If you want to take the temperature down, start by that.
00:22:04.240 And let's see if you want to deescalate, deescalate over there because we ain't deescalating.
00:22:08.520 But we're only going to crank it up.
00:22:10.960 Send a signal to us that you get it, that we've actually been heard.
00:22:14.320 And if ABC puts Kimmel back on the air now, I mean, is there any chance you think that
00:22:19.140 they would actually do that, Steve?
00:22:20.560 Because I think there'll be a revolt even greater than the first one if they do.
00:22:25.160 I think you're going to see the creatives over Disney.
00:22:27.580 Remember, look, Disney is rotten to the core anyway.
00:22:30.260 You know what's happened over Disney.
00:22:31.480 You know what's happened in the filmmaking division where they've been perpetuating this
00:22:36.300 LGBTQ and this really sick transgender ideology into their movies.
00:22:42.480 They're going to get huge pressure creatively.
00:22:44.860 I think they're going to try to come back, Megan, with some sort of, you know, Jimmy gives
00:22:48.300 some sort of lame apology and make some donation at Turning Point.
00:22:52.460 Turning Point should turn down any donation Jimmy Kimmel tries to give you.
00:22:55.600 And there is no apology good enough.
00:22:58.140 There's no apology good enough.
00:22:59.460 But I think they're going to try to do something to getting back up there.
00:23:02.140 And I think you see everything you want.
00:23:03.780 And I'm so glad you put that number out.
00:23:05.880 The CEO, they're trying to drive the CEO of one of these big affiliate groups, a guy that's
00:23:11.080 just a normal business guy and do what business guys do in free market capitalism.
00:23:15.500 They're trying to drive him.
00:23:17.460 And by the way, I'm sure it's dangerous around his family.
00:23:20.460 This is what they try to do.
00:23:22.040 So no, we're in a fight.
00:23:24.280 Let him know we've got his back.
00:23:26.040 We will continue watching Next Star.
00:23:27.740 The left does not control this country.
00:23:29.800 It's a new day.
00:23:31.400 And there's a reason Trump won and Kamala lost.
00:23:33.540 We're in the majority.
00:23:34.920 It's too bad, but we are.
00:23:36.260 And they can't keep canceling our people and then letting their people get away with
00:23:40.920 murder, literally with murder.
00:23:43.940 There is a piece, Mark Halperin on his show called attention to this.
00:23:48.540 And it was a great, it was a great point.
00:23:50.520 It was something I didn't know.
00:23:51.420 Um, you mentioned Ellison.
00:23:53.960 So they're taking over CBS news and maybe bringing in Barry Weiss to try to be like a
00:24:00.420 non-woke voice of reason in their overseeing editorial.
00:24:03.740 That would be a step definitely in the right direction.
00:24:06.240 Um, then there's a possibility, uh, that there was some talk about Ellison possibly even buying
00:24:12.460 CNN and doing the same thing there.
00:24:14.960 Um, then, so this guy, Dan Pfeiffer, who used to work for Obama, he's part of the pod save
00:24:19.240 America guys.
00:24:20.000 He has a sub stack and Mark Halperin was writing about it and talking about it.
00:24:23.300 And on this guy's sub stack, this is a former Obama guy.
00:24:26.100 He's, he's worried.
00:24:27.400 He's pearl clutching over there about the fact that now you have, you know, possibly a de-woke
00:24:32.720 a fire at CBS, potentially in the future at CNN.
00:24:36.200 And on top of all that, you've got Trump trying to save Tik TOK in a way that would rest it
00:24:44.060 from Chinese control and possibly make it more reasonable and God forbid, even more open-minded
00:24:51.200 to conservatives.
00:24:51.800 Cause right now it is a far left site and he's very worried about that.
00:24:56.240 Steven, he writes as follows.
00:24:57.660 Well, the MAGA right is on the verge of controlling the vast majority of the American media ecosystem.
00:25:02.720 There are exceptions, but much, much of the corporate press is now too loyal to, or too
00:25:09.240 afraid of Trump to act as a true check on power.
00:25:13.020 Yes.
00:25:13.300 What would that be like to have an entire media controlled by the same party that controls
00:25:19.380 the white house and acting as a bunch of sycophants in service of him?
00:25:24.320 I feel like the, the obtuse statement, like the cluelessness of this.
00:25:28.500 It, it, it absolutely is because of what they've done for decade after decade, after
00:25:34.880 decade, that being said, I'm, I'm a, I'm a hardcore Neo Brandeisian.
00:25:40.960 Uh, I'm a huge believer in Lena Khan and what the FCC, the FTC, what, what these antitrust,
00:25:47.580 um, uh, really fire breathers and Trump's justice department trying to break up Google, trying
00:25:53.160 to break up Facebook, uh, I, I actually am quite concerned.
00:25:56.720 I am concerned with, and Larry Ellison is a great guy.
00:25:59.480 Oracle has done a great job what they're doing, but to know that trying to buy Warner
00:26:03.100 Brothers immediately after closing a quite difficult transaction, they're trying to buy
00:26:06.840 Warner Brothers and CNN, um, is, you know, I think it has to be questioned.
00:26:11.420 And then on top of it, TikTok, remember what we want to have as a system of actual free
00:26:17.240 market capitalism.
00:26:18.040 We don't have that today.
00:26:19.520 The United States has corporatism.
00:26:21.480 Our model, the Chinese communist, the Chinese did not become liberal Democrats, liberal free
00:26:26.800 market Democrats.
00:26:27.780 They became, uh, you know, in the broadest sense, uh, what they be, what we, we became more like
00:26:33.020 their model, state capitalism or what I call corporatism in the concentration of power.
00:26:37.440 You see this every day.
00:26:38.760 The one thing I told people is different than the first administration, right?
00:26:42.300 The second is that we have the greatest concentration of power under Biden in, in media on wall street
00:26:49.160 and big pharma and big medical and the big tech oligarchs in the defense industry, though
00:26:54.180 that power in Washington, trying to get, trying to have, um, regulatory, uh, merger, right?
00:27:01.500 Uh, is something that we as MAGA and a populist nationalist movement have to be worried about
00:27:06.740 all the time.
00:27:07.340 And so I love the fact, I love the fact that conservatives are now coming and we're, we're
00:27:11.920 giving them a little taste of what they've had for years and loved it.
00:27:14.860 And the reason they're suppressing it, but we have to spare me the, Oh gee, it would be
00:27:19.680 so hard if the other party controlled media while they control the white house.
00:27:23.560 Welcome to our world.
00:27:25.060 We've been living like this for 50 years.
00:27:29.380 Yes.
00:27:29.960 And particularly fight from Obama, but we as populists always have to be on guard for the concentration
00:27:35.580 of corporate and state power.
00:27:37.620 That's something we're going to, and that's a fight that's a internal to MAGA and the
00:27:41.700 Trump administration.
00:27:42.500 And I think that, I think that fight's going to get very big, uh, coming next year and up
00:27:47.980 to the midterms.
00:27:49.020 That makes sense.
00:27:50.040 Let's let, let me ask you this.
00:27:51.360 The other piece of this is like the leftist meltdown around the Jimmy Kimmel indefinite
00:27:55.980 suspension.
00:27:56.520 I mean, it hasn't even been fired is really at 10 out of 10.
00:28:00.420 Like I said at the top, they actually are pretending that this is as serious and as big an event
00:28:05.220 as what happened to Charlie.
00:28:06.720 It's very strange.
00:28:08.020 It's like weird trauma glomming.
00:28:10.760 And, um, you know, saying 12 out of 10, I think it's a 12 out of 10.
00:28:14.460 I've never seen anything like it.
00:28:15.640 The, the, the, this morning on morning, Joe and CNN, it's, it's full coverage.
00:28:19.180 Everything else going in the world, not important.
00:28:21.000 They are literally, cause I think they see the fact they could be fired.
00:28:24.360 Would it be this high if we hadn't just lost Charlie?
00:28:27.400 Because they're, they're scared.
00:28:28.580 They know how angry we are.
00:28:30.260 They know how mobilized and motivated we are.
00:28:32.220 And, and is it a direct reaction to that?
00:28:34.620 Would it be at a 12 if we hadn't just lost Charlie clearly at the hands of somebody infected
00:28:38.720 with left-wing ideology, or is this just because, as you say, now they're worried they could
00:28:43.880 actually lose their jobs?
00:28:45.320 I do think, I think normally it would be a seven or eight, maybe a nine.
00:28:49.280 I think it's 12.
00:28:50.200 Of, and the reason is they see the self-organizing nature of the commemorations of Charlie's,
00:28:57.540 uh, the, the death and the vigils, but also the determination of these young people to carry
00:29:02.740 on his work.
00:29:03.500 And I think they see the streets of Korea.
00:29:05.320 They are scared to death because I think for the first time they see that there has been
00:29:09.740 someone that actually made not just a political difference, but a deep cultural difference.
00:29:14.440 I think that's got them scared to death.
00:29:16.320 And I think they feel if they don't put this down now, that if, if president Trump and the
00:29:21.220 regular regulators go after him, and also the free market capitals, like the affiliate groups
00:29:26.180 start responding to the, actually the consumers in their local communities where most of this
00:29:30.540 is happening, right?
00:29:31.660 Because remember in the affiliates, the own and operated or the, or New York, Chicago, LA,
00:29:35.880 you know this, the affiliates are really out in the heartland of the country, right?
00:29:39.200 The smaller stations, if they see this happening, they think that's a revolution.
00:29:43.720 They think the barbarians have actually breached the gate.
00:29:46.280 And so that's why they have to put it down.
00:29:47.840 Now, I think the self-organizing, uh, response to Charlie's death has been something that I
00:29:53.080 don't believe it's ever happened in American history.
00:29:54.900 It didn't happen in Kennedy, uh, didn't even happen.
00:29:57.420 I don't think in even Martin Luther King, right?
00:29:59.260 The peaceful, just self-organizing vigils, et cetera.
00:30:02.160 And they're scared to death.
00:30:03.580 That is raw political, cultural and political power.
00:30:06.540 That's why they're at a 12, not a eight or a nine, which they normally would be.
00:30:11.100 But Megan, they're irrational.
00:30:13.020 If you've seen this coverage from the other, when it first happened all the way to this
00:30:16.540 morning, they have lost reason in talking about this.
00:30:20.960 Okay.
00:30:21.020 So let me go into both of those rabbit holes.
00:30:23.180 We're going to start with the freak out over Kimmel and his indefinite suspension.
00:30:28.500 Here's just a small sample.
00:30:29.640 SOT 12.
00:30:31.340 I mean, this is a straight out of the authoritarian playbook.
00:30:34.160 When they appease the bully, they put all of us at risk.
00:30:37.520 Out of nowhere, remove a late night talk show host and program who was sharing an opinion
00:30:44.300 during a comedic monologue, I think should concern every single American show host who
00:30:50.580 are like modern Tom Paines.
00:30:52.600 You need to see what is happening right now is the systematic destruction of free speech
00:30:57.300 in this country.
00:30:58.540 This is a moment for the country to mobilize.
00:31:00.120 This is a moment for all of us to be out on the streets protesting.
00:31:03.800 This is a red alert moment.
00:31:04.900 The days are getting darker.
00:31:06.160 I've also read a whole lot about authoritarian regimes.
00:31:09.720 This is the playbook, folks.
00:31:11.340 If you're not paying attention now and doing something about it, well, then you're going
00:31:14.720 to have to sit down the rest of your life because democracy is being taken away.
00:31:19.480 Okay.
00:31:20.480 There's the meltdown.
00:31:21.560 That's just a small sample.
00:31:22.640 We could be here all day playing their leftist freak out over poor Jimmy Kimmel.
00:31:25.780 And what you said, though, is exactly right.
00:31:29.160 They're worried about the vigils across the world.
00:31:32.900 They're worried about the 62,000 applications with high school students and college students
00:31:38.440 to join TPUSA.
00:31:39.940 They know exactly where that's going to lead when those kids become voters in a couple of
00:31:45.920 years for the high schoolers.
00:31:46.980 And they're probably already registered for the college students.
00:31:49.700 Not in a good place for Democrats.
00:31:51.300 And so now what we're trying to, what we're starting to see is there's no, there's, there's
00:31:58.360 nothing on our side that makes us look bad.
00:32:01.080 Okay.
00:32:01.360 So we talked about, we didn't shoot him.
00:32:03.180 We didn't infect the person who shot him.
00:32:05.120 That was all MAGA, Jimmy Kimmel at the apex of that argument.
00:32:08.480 And also we're not celebrating Charlie's death.
00:32:11.460 We're not, it's not happening.
00:32:13.320 Okay.
00:32:13.660 So you've got, let me just give you this woman who's said it on MSNBC as their, she's
00:32:17.900 their fact checker.
00:32:18.520 She's like their disinformation, misinformation person, Brandy Zedroski, the other day, SOT
00:32:24.100 18.
00:32:24.620 Watch this.
00:32:26.120 I think if you look across media generally, you have seen a lot of people trying to grapple
00:32:30.920 with Charlie Kirk's legacy and what that is as a right wing agitator and as a provocateur
00:32:36.220 and as, you know, a strategist and the most important GOP figure besides Donald Trump,
00:32:43.800 arguably ever.
00:32:45.300 And so, or right now, and so there's a lot of grappling to do, but to suggest that the
00:32:51.240 internet is cheering for this is just the opposite, total opposite of what's actually
00:32:56.440 happening.
00:32:56.780 It is horrible.
00:32:58.180 Okay.
00:32:58.660 She's such a liar.
00:32:59.760 I'll just, this is only 25 seconds.
00:33:01.580 Just, just, just a few examples.
00:33:03.240 Here we are.
00:33:03.620 SOT 20.
00:33:03.980 Charlie Kirk just got shot in the net.
00:33:09.580 Hey, ooh, ha, ooh.
00:33:11.940 Eye for an eye, bitch.
00:33:13.300 I think the only thing that went wrong that day was that Trump wasn't standing behind him
00:33:18.080 getting a secondhand bullet.
00:33:19.160 He was such a good person.
00:33:20.500 Why did he get shot?
00:33:21.660 What do you think?
00:33:22.820 What do you think we're going to do?
00:33:24.060 Honestly, y'all, he had to come.
00:33:25.620 Charlie Kirk was a big advocate for the Second Amendment.
00:33:28.660 It worked out well for him.
00:33:29.860 Oh my God.
00:33:32.360 Keith Olbermann is just tweeting out, Sinclair can rot in hell along with Charlie Kirk.
00:33:36.940 His tweet, last I checked, had 40,000 likes saying Charlie Kirk is rotting in hell.
00:33:41.680 I mean, this is a sick group.
00:33:43.740 And so they feel the need to go on MSNBC, Steve, and just deny it's happening, which is
00:33:47.880 also driving people to our side.
00:33:51.940 A hundred percent.
00:33:52.940 And by the way, as bad as the one you put up, and we can play hours of that, they have
00:33:58.080 ones about Charlie's children, Charlie's widow.
00:34:00.540 I mean, these people are depraved to a level.
00:34:02.800 And that's why I say there's no compromise.
00:34:04.880 There's nothing to compromise about.
00:34:06.160 You can't give that a group hug.
00:34:07.200 You can't sit down and debate it.
00:34:08.900 The person that debated it and gave his life doing it with humility and humble and always
00:34:13.860 say, bring the people up that disagree with me the most in the front line was Charlie
00:34:16.920 Kirk.
00:34:17.260 And they shot him like a dog and then celebrated it and mocked it.
00:34:21.420 Okay.
00:34:21.700 So there's nothing to compromise.
00:34:23.320 There's nothing to compromise with.
00:34:24.700 And they show you right there.
00:34:26.680 They tell you exactly who they are.
00:34:29.140 So all we have to do is figure out how to shut that down.
00:34:33.780 And you're starting this already in the FBI.
00:34:35.680 We're designating these transgender militias as nihilistic units, extremist units.
00:34:46.340 So to do that, we're going to designate Antifa as, I think, an executive order by Charlie's
00:34:50.700 funeral, a terrorist organization that get all the tools in the toolbox.
00:34:55.000 It's now time to take action.
00:34:56.780 Because you see right there, they'll lie to your face.
00:34:59.680 The thing also, it's hidden, I want to make sure we bring this up, is that what they most
00:35:05.360 fear is not so much Charlie Kirk, the political operative, but Charlie Kirk, the dedicated Christian
00:35:13.860 nationalist.
00:35:15.300 Charlie Kirk was a Christian, evangelical Christian, and he served when he just went to Korea in
00:35:20.620 the last weekend of his life.
00:35:21.900 Half of it was turning point and rallies about how to stand up to the political party that's
00:35:26.020 controlled by the CCP that just won election there for the young people.
00:35:29.360 The other half was going to do spiritual speeches and talks to the great evangelical population
00:35:38.840 of young people in South Korea, which is one of the most Christian nations on earth.
00:35:43.540 And so that's what they fear about Charlie Kirk.
00:35:45.360 When they're looking at this, and they look at those vigils, and they look at that humility
00:35:50.040 and the humble and the prayer, they see a political force that is a Christian political force.
00:35:56.120 Nothing puts the fear into Wall Street and corporate America and the globalist, okay, as America,
00:36:03.380 as a Christian nation, based upon Judeo-Christian values, but a Christian nation.
00:36:09.280 And that is what's freaking them out the most.
00:36:11.940 That's why they're in meltdown.
00:36:13.420 That's why they don't know what to do about this.
00:36:15.120 And particularly as we sit there and go, we're going to be relentless.
00:36:18.260 We're going to take your entire apparatus apart, brick by brick, and we're not going to blink,
00:36:23.660 and we're not going to stop.
00:36:25.060 We don't care about your claims of fascism either.
00:36:27.420 They did all of this to us.
00:36:29.300 They want to lecture us now on censorship, Steve?
00:36:31.980 The Democrats?
00:36:33.520 After the last four years, we just went through with the Biden regime?
00:36:37.400 I mean, do they think our memories are that short?
00:36:39.920 Hey, I'm still banned.
00:36:42.720 You know, War Room, I'm still banned on every platform.
00:36:44.780 We're banned on Facebook.
00:36:45.900 We're banned on YouTube.
00:36:47.300 We're banned.
00:36:47.660 Yes, no, I'm banned on Twitter.
00:36:49.020 We're banned.
00:36:49.460 We're still banned everywhere.
00:36:50.900 And I don't complain about it because that's the way they roll.
00:36:54.880 And I say, okay, what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
00:36:58.640 These people are absolutely totally fascist.
00:36:59.920 Great, we'll play by your rules.
00:37:02.400 Yeah, exactly.
00:37:03.240 So let's roll.
00:37:04.260 And I'm all for everybody like Spencer Cox and these people that want to sing Kumbaya
00:37:09.580 and want to sit down and reason together.
00:37:12.140 They're not reasonable people.
00:37:13.820 They're radicals.
00:37:14.580 We cannot reason with them.
00:37:15.940 We've tried that.
00:37:16.980 Charlie Kirk gave his life trying to reason with them, okay?
00:37:22.220 It can't happen.
00:37:23.720 When a Charlie Kirk can't make it happen, it can't happen.
00:37:26.820 So now it's time to get very focused and play Smash Mouth.
00:37:30.600 And that's what we need to do.
00:37:31.760 And we can do it nonviolently.
00:37:33.160 Like, I'm so proud of people.
00:37:34.660 No riots, no burning of cars, nothing.
00:37:37.160 Just the power of Christian vigil, right?
00:37:40.680 And Christian remembrance of a man that I say will be deemed eventually as a modern-day
00:37:47.820 Christian martyr.
00:37:49.820 Yes.
00:37:50.980 When Charlie was in South Korea, he gave like a little press conference after a speech he
00:37:56.460 gave there.
00:37:57.340 And he's like towering over everybody, right?
00:38:00.260 He's 6'4".
00:38:01.280 South Korean men tend to be a lot shorter.
00:38:03.240 And they're all looking up at him when one guy is like, oh, you know, how about the fact
00:38:07.420 that you're a racist?
00:38:08.740 And Charlie was like, how am I racist?
00:38:11.700 And basically dismantled the guy's argument by saying, you tell me that one thing.
00:38:16.960 If 30,000 Muslim Palestinians come into South Korea, is South Korea still South Korea?
00:38:24.420 And they're like, oh, good point.
00:38:26.740 Like, that was part of his power, right?
00:38:29.700 Like, South Korea is worried about that too.
00:38:32.020 Like, he was able—and he said it so boldly, Steve.
00:38:36.300 I mean, he really did say all the things that you think but you don't say.
00:38:41.200 Charlie, he crossed all those lines.
00:38:43.420 And that's why the left is now saying he was a racist.
00:38:45.800 He was all these terrible things.
00:38:46.840 It's like because they won't give it the proper context.
00:38:49.460 And the people who actually totally agree with that obvious statement are even silently
00:38:55.460 or not silently now saying, no, we're on Team Charlie.
00:38:57.820 He brought the people that disagreed with him most up to the front of the line all the time.
00:39:04.600 I used to tell Charlie, I said, I don't know how you do the college.
00:39:06.800 I know you started that.
00:39:07.960 I was there actually for one of his—he worked—I think his first job was for Breitbart when
00:39:11.780 I was—I ran it after Andrew passed away.
00:39:14.500 The—but the people that had helped finance that I think were his first big donors.
00:39:18.740 And, you know, I would often ask Charlie, I said, man, given everything you've got going
00:39:23.180 on and, you know, all the podcasts and the shows and, you know, he's on Real America's
00:39:27.200 voice with us, I said, in everything else organizationally, in the ground game and
00:39:30.980 everything you have over at TP Action, how do you still do this?
00:39:35.480 And he just says, I have to do it.
00:39:37.080 That's—that's my calling.
00:39:38.240 Remember, Utah Valley was, what, a week ago?
00:39:41.020 He was supposed to be at Colorado State last night.
00:39:43.180 They had 10,000 people that showed up.
00:39:44.720 The power of what you're seeing spontaneously, the power that you're seeing, what I call
00:39:50.400 self-organizing, is what's put the real fear—that's the real fear in corporate
00:39:56.980 American—the corporatist, Wall Street, and the radical left.
00:40:02.020 That's what they fear most.
00:40:03.000 That's what MSNBC cannot stop, the power of that, and that's why they're freaking out.
00:40:07.600 It was incredibly brave of Charlie because he was suffering increasing death threats for
00:40:13.460 going on these college campuses.
00:40:15.120 Stephen Crowder gave an interview, I think it was on Pierce the other night, saying he blames
00:40:20.400 himself, which is very sweet, and he does not—he should not blame himself, but he blames
00:40:23.740 himself because he originated the college campus thing, or at least was one of the OGs,
00:40:29.240 with his change-my-mind segments, the predecessor to the prove-me-wrong segments Charlie would
00:40:36.000 do, and he stopped doing it because of the threat, because it just got too dangerous,
00:40:41.160 and he was blaming himself unnecessarily, but because he felt like he should have been more
00:40:45.340 outspoken about it so that Charlie knew.
00:40:47.940 But I think Charlie did know the danger.
00:40:50.300 This is like going into the lion's den, going onto these campuses, and it's so represented
00:40:55.640 by what we're seeing right now on places like CNN and MSNBC.
00:40:58.800 Those are their emissaries.
00:40:59.900 That's where they get their news and their information, from this disinformation lady
00:41:03.500 on MSNBC who's saying, oh, no one's celebrating the death, and from places like The Nation—by
00:41:08.620 the way, that's—this is where Ellie Mistal does his writing, who's the favorite guest
00:41:13.500 over on MSNBC.
00:41:14.520 He was like practically Joy Reid's co-host, a viral, vile racist, and this is what they
00:41:21.180 wrote in the wake of Charlie's death on The Nation.
00:41:24.140 Elizabeth Spires, I mean, an absolute cretin, writes, Charlie Kirk's legacy deserves no mourning.
00:41:31.420 There's no requirement to take part in this whitewashing campaign, and refusing to join in
00:41:35.140 doesn't make anyone a bad person.
00:41:36.940 It's a choice to write an obit that begins, Joseph Goebbels was a gifted marketer and
00:41:42.900 loving father to six children.
00:41:45.040 He had children, meaning Charlie, as do many vile people.
00:41:48.300 I don't know if Kirk was a good father, but if he was, that does little to mitigate the
00:41:52.200 damage he did to other people's children.
00:41:54.200 I can only hope for the sake of his kids that they have role models who will teach them
00:41:57.620 that it is wrong to profit off of the dehumanization of people because of who they are.
00:42:02.600 That's what we're up against.
00:42:06.440 You're right, Steve.
00:42:07.540 You don't lock arms with that person.
00:42:10.020 You don't try to persuade that person.
00:42:12.160 With all due respect to Charlie, you don't invite that person to the front of the line.
00:42:15.720 That person's not reachable.
00:42:18.560 They're telling us who they are.
00:42:20.700 Let's believe them this time, and let's take action on it.
00:42:23.320 We need political action.
00:42:25.500 We need, actually, since we're in charge of the government now, we need government action.
00:42:29.260 We need to do this, and it's got to be uncompromising.
00:42:32.100 How far should it go?
00:42:32.820 Because one side's going to win here, and one side's going to lose.
00:42:37.080 I think they ought to go through.
00:42:38.440 I think it ought to be, first of all, at the SEC, at the FEC, Federal Elections Commission,
00:42:42.700 the Communication Commission.
00:42:43.920 I think it's going to be a huge investigation of things like the view.
00:42:48.020 All of it, they're in-kind payments to the Democratic Party.
00:42:51.880 These things are working under broadcast licenses.
00:42:54.380 It's different than cable or streaming or something like that.
00:42:56.220 It's totally different.
00:42:56.980 It's a different set of rules.
00:42:57.880 We just didn't sleep in the switch.
00:42:59.800 I think Stephen Colbert, the Ellisons ought to pull Colbert today.
00:43:03.940 Send a signal that, yes.
00:43:05.320 And by the way, they'll save money because he's going to lose $40 million in a year.
00:43:09.700 You pay out his contract.
00:43:11.020 It can't be worse than $40 million.
00:43:12.540 Just pay it out.
00:43:13.220 He's only got, what, nine months left.
00:43:15.200 They ought to pull him today.
00:43:16.220 Or we ought to start an investigation in a major suit by the federal government for an
00:43:20.960 in-kind contribution that I would argue you can go back over time and see it's $400 million.
00:43:25.460 They did the analysis the other day, I think, is like 600 Democrat politicians and two or
00:43:31.300 three Republicans.
00:43:32.100 And those are like Liz Cheney and those people coming on to Coral Bet sending guys like me
00:43:36.340 to prison.
00:43:37.140 So it's fine.
00:43:38.440 If you're going to do it, you're going to do it.
00:43:40.000 But there's rules and regulations about that.
00:43:42.520 We have to enforce these and we have to enforce them in a tough way with a sense of urgency
00:43:47.100 right now.
00:43:47.760 And I say maximalist strategy.
00:43:50.060 You take it to the absolute, to the absolute outer edge of what you can do regulatorily because
00:43:55.520 that's all they understand.
00:43:56.560 They don't understand anything else.
00:43:58.000 All the phoniness that they, all this, they're all First Amendment guys now, right?
00:44:02.280 They're all about the First Amendment.
00:44:03.620 I know, please.
00:44:04.160 They never cared about the First Amendment.
00:44:05.780 All they care about is control.
00:44:07.400 And by the way, the First Amendment, the government did not force anything here.
00:44:13.140 They didn't.
00:44:14.100 He was threatening, but he didn't actually do it.
00:44:16.900 This is a Disney call because Jimmy Kimmel refused to apologize.
00:44:20.300 Jimmy Kimmel was going to go out there and attack MAGA again.
00:44:23.420 And that's why Kimmel got indefinitely suspended.
00:44:27.040 But by the way, there is a role for government in this particular lane.
00:44:31.360 That's why we have the Federal Communications Commission.
00:44:33.920 Brendan Carr does have a responsibility to make sure the airwaves are consistent with the
00:44:38.680 public interest.
00:44:39.880 Is it to have some guy going out there and stirring up tempers and inflame the public at
00:44:45.000 a time when MAGA is at its most vulnerable, its most grievous?
00:44:48.500 No, it's not.
00:44:49.680 So spare me because there actually is a government role to be played here.
00:44:53.620 Speaking of government, this is a very interesting development.
00:44:57.220 There's a report today that AOC may be getting ready to run for president, that her team is
00:45:01.440 looking, and I know you've said she could potentially do it, but her team is looking at maybe Senate.
00:45:07.040 Chuck Schumer is, I think, going to be 78 when he runs for re-election.
00:45:11.340 That's really old.
00:45:12.420 And the Democrats seem to get that now.
00:45:14.940 Or she might just go for president.
00:45:17.360 And at the same time, this happened today.
00:45:20.620 The Republicans in the House introduced a resolution to honor Charlie Kirk.
00:45:26.120 It condemns the murder, and it praises Charlie as a courageous American patriot who boldly
00:45:30.720 lived out his faith with conviction, courage, and compassion.
00:45:33.520 Calls on all Americans, regardless of race, party affiliation, or creed, to reject political
00:45:38.780 violence, recommit to respectful debate, uphold American values, and respect one another as
00:45:42.880 fellow Americans.
00:45:44.780 Democratic leaders, including Hakeem Jeffries and nearly 100 rank-and-file Dems, voted for
00:45:48.820 it.
00:45:49.360 But 58 Dems voted no.
00:45:52.280 38 voted present.
00:45:53.780 22 didn't vote at all.
00:45:55.240 Among those who voted no, the squad.
00:45:58.900 Jasmine Crockett, Pramila Jayapal, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and then there's AOC, who
00:46:07.900 said the following.
00:46:10.240 Rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated, and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans.
00:46:18.980 Far from the working, quote, working tirelessly to promote unity, unquote, asserted by the
00:46:25.740 majority in this resolution.
00:46:27.140 And that's it.
00:46:33.580 Then she voted no.
00:46:35.040 She refused to join in the resolution.
00:46:37.940 Consequences to her, politically, for doing that?
00:46:39.900 Well, she'll get a leg up on Newsom in the Democratic primary.
00:46:45.880 I would love to have her run for president at the Democratic side.
00:46:50.020 It's a contrast, right?
00:46:51.360 What you see is what you get.
00:46:53.760 If that's what you think can lead this country, is that where your values are?
00:46:57.160 Is that what you think will continue to promote American freedom and liberty and ourselves as
00:47:03.040 the greatest industrial power in the world, AOC?
00:47:05.680 See, this shows you how frivolous they are.
00:47:08.440 This shows you how they're not serious people.
00:47:11.880 And they've controlled the media, and they've controlled the apparatus, and they hate us
00:47:15.280 for the fact that we're taking that apart and taking it away from them.
00:47:18.200 That's where the hate's coming from.
00:47:19.700 Because in the old days, you could jam down a Barack Obama out of nowhere down your throat,
00:47:24.760 and you just had to accept it.
00:47:26.420 They're in the business of jamming people down your throat.
00:47:29.200 And if they can jam AOC down your throat, hey, I say bring it.
00:47:31.980 I'm all for, we love democracy, because with the MAGA and the Maha movement, we can't
00:47:37.620 be beaten.
00:47:38.820 You look at right now the shift of demographics in this country and the shift inside the states,
00:47:44.220 we cannot be beaten.
00:47:45.680 So if they want to, please don't waste a Senate run.
00:47:48.460 Throw up there and let it run for president.
00:47:50.240 We love it.
00:47:50.840 Let's do it.
00:47:51.660 You don't feel threatened by her at all, like if she got the nomination?
00:47:56.840 I do not feel threatened.
00:47:58.800 I do not.
00:47:59.500 Listen, she's a very crafty and cunning politician.
00:48:02.740 But you see what she stands for and who she is?
00:48:05.720 Let's take the best.
00:48:07.840 Newsom and her, let's go.
00:48:09.040 Let's roll.
00:48:09.760 Give us your best shot.
00:48:13.020 Yeah.
00:48:14.140 I don't know.
00:48:14.900 I've never seen the rights so mobilized as they are right now.
00:48:17.720 And it came at a very, very high cost.
00:48:20.240 But they are mobilized.
00:48:21.940 And it's happening organically, not just nationally, but internationally.
00:48:26.960 Our mission grows.
00:48:28.060 Our ranks are growing.
00:48:29.700 And it's completely heartfelt.
00:48:31.860 It's at a higher plane.
00:48:33.780 It's evangelical.
00:48:34.880 It's going to be unstoppable.
00:48:36.860 That's how it feels today.
00:48:38.080 Steve Bannon, thank you.
00:48:39.860 Always a pleasure.
00:48:41.540 Megan, thank you.
00:48:42.220 Thank you for doing Charlie's show, tossing to you yesterday.
00:48:45.300 Thank you for doing Charlie's show this week.
00:48:47.120 Everybody, everybody appreciated it.
00:48:49.420 Oh, God.
00:48:49.980 The honor was all mine.
00:48:51.820 Only wish it weren't necessary.
00:48:52.960 Up next, a powerful, powerful speaker who was dear friends with Charlie and was just feet
00:49:00.140 away the day he was assassinated.
00:49:02.420 Do not miss this.
00:49:03.180 You might think home security was just an alarm that goes off after a break-in, scaring the

00:49:12.020 But that is a reactive approach.
00:49:14.460 By the time an intruder is in your home, it's too late.

00:50:15.580 Recently, I learned about colostrum.
00:50:17.780 Well, I mean, anybody who's had a baby kind of knows about colostrum.
00:50:20.260 It's the very first milk, known as liquid gold, that babies receive from their mothers
00:50:25.460 after birth.
00:50:26.740 It's packed with proteins, natural growth factors, antimicrobial peptides that work to
00:50:32.760 enhance your immune response, reduce inflammation, and more.
00:50:35.840 I want to tell you about cowboy colostrum, which offers the highest quality cow colostrum
00:50:41.080 available.
00:50:42.160 You could drink colostrum from a cow.
00:50:47.600 It's 100% made in America from 100% American grass-fed cows.
00:50:53.460 Now, look, you're already drinking cow's milk.
00:50:56.060 Whether you know it or not, you're already kind of being breastfed from a cow if you drink
00:51:00.200 milk.
00:51:01.020 This is just getting you the very best stuff that comes from the cow.
00:51:05.700 So, don't overthink it.
00:51:08.140 Just go for it.
00:51:10.040 It's going to leave you feeling satisfied.
00:51:14.660 And it's going to give you high protein.

00:51:25.400 And it's made with delicious natural ingredients, no artificial flavors.
00:51:29.100 All you have to do is add three, a three-gram scoop of chocolate, Madagascar, Madagascar colostrum
00:51:36.140 from a cow.
00:51:36.800 Who doesn't want that?
00:51:38.100 Vanilla or strawberry into your coffee or your smoothie.
00:51:42.140 It's going to be a fun conversation piece.

00:52:09.660 what they've heard.
00:52:11.600 Thank you.
00:52:13.800 We absolutely have to keep talking.
00:52:16.380 It's more important now than ever.
00:52:18.600 To cower, to hide, to go silent is not the answer.
00:52:22.520 And all I can tell you is there is no fucking way I am canceling one stop on this tour.
00:52:31.260 Not one stop.
00:52:32.560 I'm going.
00:52:33.420 I'm going to stand on these stages and I'm going to say all the things that we say all
00:52:38.280 the time on this show.
00:52:39.380 We're going to make it safe for me.
00:52:40.340 We're going to make it safe for my team and my guests and you.
00:52:43.040 We're going coast to coast and do something really important, which is say what's true
00:52:48.720 and what's real to honor him.
00:52:52.100 I really now more than ever would love to see you all face to face.
00:52:55.900 God, I would love to see you face to face.
00:52:58.960 I need to see you face to face.
00:53:01.680 I am doing this tour and I would love for you to join me.
00:53:05.700 MeganKelley.com for the tickets.
00:53:07.040 Joining me now, a close friend and faith mentor of Charlie Kirk's.
00:53:15.240 Frank Turek is a Christian author and the president of Crossexamined.org.
00:53:20.500 He was with Charlie on the horrific day of his assassination in Utah last week.
00:53:24.940 And he joins me now to honor Charlie's legacy and talk about that terrible day.
00:53:31.240 Frank, welcome to the show.
00:53:32.080 It's great to have you.
00:53:33.460 Megan, first, let me thank you for going out to Phoenix yesterday.
00:53:37.040 It meant so much to the team there that you would go all the way out there and be with them.
00:53:42.740 It was so sweet, Frank.
00:53:44.400 It was an honor.
00:53:45.440 It truly was an honor.
00:53:46.620 And they gave me a shirt just like the one you're wearing now.
00:53:49.220 And it was something to put it on.
00:53:50.920 It does feel like it makes you feel a little closer to Charlie, doesn't it?
00:53:54.740 Yeah, it does.
00:53:55.820 And I'm so tired, Megan, as I know you are, of the left calling Charlie Kirk a fascist.
00:54:04.020 Megan, when was the last time you heard a fascist say, if you disagree, come to the front of the line.
00:54:08.420 I'll give you the microphone.
00:54:10.000 I mean, it's ridiculous.
00:54:13.860 Fascists kill people.
00:54:16.200 They don't hear out their opponents.
00:54:18.140 The guy that pulled the trigger was the fascist.
00:54:21.220 Frank, can I ask you a question related to that?
00:54:22.940 I think I've been thinking a lot about this.
00:54:26.340 I and many other people on the right have been talking.
00:54:28.940 And I'm convinced that the reason Charlie was targeted, you know, because there are many people in conservative media that say all the same things that Charlie said and fought for all the same things.
00:54:39.760 But I'm convinced that the reason he was targeted is because the faith quotient was so high, which made him more powerful than everyone.
00:54:51.120 Like, it's no accident he was elevated above us all in that way to where he attracted the attention in a way that has inspired the world, but also the negative attention.
00:55:04.380 Yeah, I agree.
00:55:06.740 There is a certain amount of aura that came with Charlie in terms of not just his conservative politics, but the fact that he was sold out for Jesus.
00:55:17.280 And that was really his focus.
00:55:19.860 In fact, just a few weeks ago, Megan, he said politics is peanuts compared to Jesus.
00:55:25.520 Because without Jesus, look, all of us are going to check out of here in a few decades.
00:55:32.260 What then?
00:55:33.340 Right?
00:55:33.580 Politics is temporary.
00:55:36.080 Jesus is eternal.
00:55:37.780 And there's nothing more important than eternity.
00:55:41.340 And so Charlie, while he loved politics, as I do, as I know you do, and realized it's very important to a functioning society to have the right laws in place, even from a Christian perspective, Megan.
00:55:53.740 Because I hear people saying, oh, Christians, you ought not get involved in politics.
00:55:57.300 Since when are we supposed to allow the atheists to run the country?
00:56:01.180 And if you don't think—
00:56:02.360 That's how we got into this mess.
00:56:03.580 Yeah, exactly.
00:56:04.820 And I always tell pastors who say, oh, I just talk about the Bible.
00:56:09.580 I just preach the gospel.
00:56:10.700 I don't get involved in politics.
00:56:11.900 And I say to them, if you think the gospel is important, you better think politics are important because politics affects your ability to preach and live the gospel.
00:56:20.240 If you don't think so, go to some of the countries I've been to.
00:56:22.940 I've been to Iran.
00:56:23.800 I've been to Saudi Arabia.
00:56:24.820 I've been to China.
00:56:25.660 You know, you can't have a church in Iran, not legally anyway.
00:56:29.380 They can't listen to the Megyn Kelly podcast in Iran, not legally anyway.
00:56:33.900 Why?
00:56:34.340 Because politically, they've ruled it out.
00:56:36.600 So politics, while it's not our first calling as Christians, it's important because it protects our first calling, which is to go out and preach and live according to the principles that Jesus wanted us to live by.
00:56:47.780 How did you and Charlie become friends?
00:56:51.180 I listened to your whole podcast the other day, and I was fascinated by the backstory, but tell us here.
00:56:57.380 Charlie happened to be in Washington State, of all places, probably in like 2020 or 2019.
00:57:04.980 And for some reason, one of the TV shows that I do happened to be on public access up there in Seattle.
00:57:11.820 And I don't know why, but it was.
00:57:14.320 And he looked me up on the Internet, and he watched a lot of my videos because I go to college campuses quite a bit as well.
00:57:20.580 I co-wrote a book called I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist.
00:57:24.540 And so I go to colleges, high schools, and churches and present that.
00:57:27.740 And I answer a lot of questions.
00:57:28.960 And so Charlie was intrigued because that's what he was doing.
00:57:32.060 And so my colleague just dug out the email that he wrote us back.
00:57:37.440 It was January 18, 2020, just before COVID.
00:57:40.800 And he essentially said, hi, I've been watching all of Frank's videos.
00:57:43.420 They've really helped me and helped me do what I do here at Turning Point USA.
00:57:47.980 I'd like to meet.
00:57:49.840 And from that point on, we were fast friends.
00:57:52.180 And what was happening over this summer in particular, Megan, was he really took the college tour that was coming up here in the fall extremely seriously.
00:58:08.220 And he's been studying all summer for this.
00:58:11.300 And so he and I met on four occasions this summer.
00:58:13.540 I'd fly to Phoenix, and we'd spend two or three days.
00:58:16.460 We'd go on these long walks.
00:58:17.820 We'd sit in his office.
00:58:19.200 We'd get in a conference room.
00:58:20.460 Not just me, but other guys.
00:58:22.060 Blake yesterday on the podcast was part of this.
00:58:25.700 Danny Phillips, another researcher, was part of it.
00:58:30.560 Of course, the great Mikey McCoy, what a hero the other day Mikey was.
00:58:34.160 Let me tell you, Megan, that kid is amazing.
00:58:37.660 That's this young, fresh-faced kid who Charlie said, don't go to college.
00:58:41.900 He met him just as he was going off to college.
00:58:43.240 He said, don't go to college.
00:58:44.020 Come with me.
00:58:44.780 I'm your college.
00:58:47.360 Megan, Mikey McCoy was a hero on September 10th.
00:58:51.580 If we have time, I'll tell you what he did.
00:58:53.180 I mean, it's just amazing.
00:58:54.320 In any event, it's not just me, but other people poured into Charlie.
00:58:57.760 And the only thing that surpassed Charlie's intellect was his humility, Megan.
00:59:03.500 You know, it's hard to be a mentor to somebody who's smarter than you.
00:59:07.360 And Charlie is much smarter than me.
00:59:09.260 But he knew I knew a few things he didn't know.
00:59:12.340 And so he would always want to get together and go through these hard questions that he
00:59:17.340 was going to get from students, particularly when it related to the evidence for Christianity
00:59:20.760 and issues in the Bible, that kind of thing.
00:59:23.380 And so that's what we'd get together and do.
00:59:25.160 And we would just, we'd go on long walks.
00:59:27.020 He'd sit there, take notes.
00:59:28.420 He'd speak into his phone.
00:59:29.560 Oh, that's a good insight.
00:59:30.300 Let me tell you, you know.
00:59:31.580 And I learned a lot from him just as much as he learned from me.
00:59:34.080 I learned from him.
00:59:35.220 That was a brand new insight to me because as good as Charlie was on these college campus
00:59:38.780 appearances, it never dawned on me that he prepared.
00:59:41.440 I don't know why it never dawned on.
00:59:42.480 I just thought like he speaks for a few hours a day and he gives so many speeches.
00:59:46.220 Maybe that's the prep.
00:59:47.140 But no, he studied up for these things.
00:59:49.740 Oh, he studied big time and he was ready.
00:59:52.220 I mean, he would have, he almost sounded like you, Megan, at one point.
00:59:56.140 He was talking to one kid about illegal immigration and he started citing the U.S.
01:00:01.600 code.
01:00:02.700 You know, U.S.
01:00:03.620 code 13 dot.
01:00:04.800 And I'm going, who is he?
01:00:06.200 Megan Kelly all of a sudden?
01:00:07.360 How does he know all this stuff?
01:00:08.880 Right?
01:00:09.460 Because he had studied it.
01:00:11.220 He was ready for almost every possible question, every possible contingency.
01:00:16.140 He was ready.
01:00:16.640 Yeah, just yesterday sitting at his desk in front of Charlie's microphone, he's still got
01:00:23.900 the Glenn Beck golden microphone that Glenn got from Rush right now.
01:00:28.460 And also there's two little toys there because his daughter would give him two little toys
01:00:33.500 and he would take them and she liked to see them on the air.
01:00:35.800 So he would always show these toys that she'd give him there too, sitting there.
01:00:39.300 And then there is a copy of the U.S.
01:00:41.860 Constitution.
01:00:42.760 And I said to his team, did he always have it at his desk?
01:00:46.360 And they said, oh, he always had it on him, on him.
01:00:49.800 And some of those clips of him challenging people on their knowledge of the Constitution
01:00:53.440 or whoever made the foolish mistake of asking Charlie if they, if he understood the Constitution,
01:00:59.100 learned the hard way that they had stepped on a rake.
01:01:01.880 Oh yeah.
01:01:02.480 And when he had so much of it memorized too, he said, no, that's article two.
01:01:05.760 Article two.
01:01:06.340 You know this?
01:01:07.300 Oh yeah, he knows it.
01:01:08.080 Yeah.
01:01:09.320 He loved it.
01:01:09.960 Yeah.
01:01:10.120 So just evidence of his preparation, his devotion to being great so that he could be heard and
01:01:16.860 he could be compelling.
01:01:18.540 You know, the goal truly was to change people's minds, to actually, you know, have them hear
01:01:24.600 him past all the noise and all the nonsense that was already out there about Charlie so they
01:01:29.280 could connect and maybe listen and maybe possibly vote Trump or, you know, rework their worldview.
01:01:36.220 That was being foisted on them in college.
01:01:38.200 You know, the last walk we went on, Megan, was Monday night.
01:01:42.180 So the, the terrible day was Wednesday.
01:01:44.800 And so we spent some time Monday and then we both went to dinner.
01:01:49.480 He wanted to have dinner with the family, which is, he's a family man.
01:01:52.160 So he said, hey, can you come back at about eight?
01:01:54.420 We'll go on a walk.
01:01:55.280 I said, yeah, okay.
01:01:55.920 So I came back down at eight and, um, uh, I texted him.
01:02:00.640 I said, okay, I'm, I'm about here.
01:02:02.940 He said, coming out.
01:02:04.240 And then a minute later, he said, shortly, Gigi just got up.
01:02:09.020 So, so he was obviously taking care of the baby, taking care of his daughter, because
01:02:14.920 that's the kind of person he was.
01:02:16.720 And then we went on this long walk and there were two major issues that kept coming up that
01:02:21.440 he wanted to be better at.
01:02:23.340 He wanted to be better at explaining the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus, because
01:02:28.260 he and I always spoke that if you want to show that Christianity is true, you only need
01:02:32.100 to establish two facts, Megan.
01:02:33.600 If you, if these two facts are true, then everything else falls into place.
01:02:37.820 The first fact is God exists.
01:02:39.940 And the second fact is Jesus rose from the dead.
01:02:42.500 If God exists and Jesus rose from the dead game over Christianity is true.
01:02:47.680 So we talked a lot about how he said, I want to persuade kids.
01:02:51.400 I want to show them despite the skepticism they're being taught in college.
01:02:55.220 I want to show them that the evidence for the resurrection is so good that they, that they'd
01:02:59.460 have to have more faith to not believe it than to believe it.
01:03:03.600 And so we talked a lot about that.
01:03:05.320 And then the second issue we spent a lot of time on is he really wanted America and, and
01:03:11.560 young people in America to get back to marriage and family, because I think you probably even
01:03:17.680 covered this on your podcast at some point about that survey that came out maybe two weeks
01:03:22.660 ago, Megan, where it looked at Trump voters, males and females and Harris voters, males and
01:03:28.480 females, and where they put marriage and family on their priority list.
01:03:31.680 Do you remember that?
01:03:32.600 Yeah.
01:03:33.360 And, and the, the, the men who voted for Trump had marriage number one.
01:03:37.560 I think the women who voted for Trump were about five or six, but the women that voted
01:03:41.940 for Harris were like, it was like 12 out of 13.
01:03:44.880 Marriage is something they, they have no interest in.
01:03:47.560 And he wanted to communicate to the world, the beauty of marriage and the beauty of family.
01:03:51.680 And of course, if you take care of the family, you take care of the country because the immune
01:03:56.660 system for the country is the biological two parent family.
01:03:59.960 If you keep them together, everything else will take care of itself.
01:04:02.960 This is something I'm really wrestling with.
01:04:07.180 I, I had this long section and we released this AM update podcast in the mornings now.
01:04:14.060 It's only like 16 minutes long usually.
01:04:15.900 And it's the headlines of the day for people who don't have two hours to listen to the show.
01:04:20.600 And we had a section in there this morning that I then removed.
01:04:24.360 I taped it.
01:04:25.000 I voiced it.
01:04:26.040 I wrote it and, um, I took it out.
01:04:30.740 It was about this Daily Mail article that got into the disgusting porn habits of the
01:04:36.780 shooter.
01:04:38.020 And I wanted to put it in there because it's just, it's so vile.
01:04:41.560 I think this man needs to be exposed for just how awful he is and was.
01:04:46.620 This isn't a crazy person.
01:04:47.940 This is an evil person.
01:04:49.100 And that's my belief.
01:04:50.520 And I couldn't do it at the end.
01:04:53.640 I just said, it's so dark.
01:04:54.800 I can't put this in, in a morning podcast where people haven't even had their coffee
01:04:58.240 and they're sitting there driving to school with their kids and so on.
01:05:00.100 So I took it out, but, and I'm not going to get into the details here, but the, the,
01:05:03.160 some of it is this kid was all over this young man, pornography and the most vile kinds
01:05:09.180 of pornography that you can look at online.
01:05:12.120 And it occurred to me, Frank, this is Charlie also constantly talked about the dangers of
01:05:19.000 pornography and urged young men not, not to go there.
01:05:22.200 The, while he urged them to get married, to even consider saving themselves for their
01:05:27.560 wives, to have a family, to take care of their family, to be the breadwinner, to make their
01:05:32.460 lives, the lives of their wives easy and as carefree financially as possible so that they
01:05:38.040 could worry about other things.
01:05:39.420 And it occurred to me that this man who shot Charlie was the living opposite of Charlie.
01:05:46.640 That like one is a devil and one was an angel walking the earth at the same time with the
01:05:51.520 most vastly different ideals and character and just the incredible misfortune that their
01:05:57.600 paths would line up, that Charlie would be in Utah where this man lived and trigger this
01:06:02.200 sense of thinking so that he could, he could steal him.
01:06:04.980 I don't, and that, and that leads me to my question to you as a, as a man of faith and
01:06:08.500 I, as I am a woman of faith, but you know your Bible much better than I do.
01:06:12.500 How, how, how, how, how could a loving God allow that devil to take this angel from us?
01:06:20.220 That is the hardest question to answer, Megan.
01:06:22.940 But one thing we do know is that it doesn't mean that God doesn't care because his own son,
01:06:30.080 who is innocent was put on a cross to save us from our own iniquities because an infinitely
01:06:37.640 just God can't allow any of us to go unpunished.
01:06:41.000 Otherwise he wouldn't be infinitely just.
01:06:43.400 And look, we're all fallen.
01:06:45.300 We all need a savior.
01:06:47.020 None of us have lived the perfect life like Jesus has, but Jesus did live the perfect life.
01:06:53.020 So he's our substitute.
01:06:54.080 Uh, he takes the wrath of a infinitely just God upon himself.
01:07:00.340 So you, me, and everyone else who's committed sins can be forgiven of those sins and also
01:07:07.580 given the righteousness of God.
01:07:09.420 That's why it's the greatest story ever told.
01:07:12.420 In fact, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, kind of the, the shortest summary I've ever heard of reality,
01:07:18.200 Megan, is this God created it.
01:07:20.920 We broke it.
01:07:23.020 Jesus fixed it.
01:07:25.060 God created it.
01:07:26.560 We broke it.
01:07:27.940 Jesus fixed it.
01:07:29.220 We're all broken.
01:07:30.300 Obviously what this shooter did is horrific evil, but of course we've all done evil ourselves.
01:07:36.340 Maybe not to that extent.
01:07:37.460 I like to ask audiences, cause I do this a lot on college campuses.
01:07:40.600 They'll say, if there's a good God, why doesn't he stop all the evil in the world?
01:07:43.640 And I normally say this, maybe because if he did, he might start with you and me, because
01:07:50.780 we do evil every day.
01:07:52.960 You ever notice when we complain about evil, we're always complaining about somebody else
01:07:55.780 doing it.
01:07:56.300 Hey, God, why don't you stop him?
01:07:57.600 Why don't you stop her?
01:07:58.320 We never say, God, why don't you stop me?
01:08:01.180 And, and I, I ask audiences, I say, if God were to stop evil at midnight tonight, would
01:08:06.060 you still be alive at 1201?
01:08:07.780 I wouldn't be Megan.
01:08:11.340 So although we can ask questions, why did God allow this to happen?
01:08:18.020 We know that God can bring good from it, just like he brought good from the crucifixion of
01:08:21.940 his own son.
01:08:23.380 And sometimes we can't see the good, but there's always a ripple effect, Megan, always a ripple
01:08:28.020 effect.
01:08:28.720 We can see some of the ripples right now.
01:08:30.860 Have you seen the nation begin to awake from its apathy regarding God, regarding Jesus,
01:08:39.980 regarding love and saying this, we can't stand for this anymore.
01:08:43.400 We have to do something.
01:08:44.340 There's a spiritual awakening going on.
01:08:46.460 And if you were to ask Charlie right now, would you give your life in order to awaken
01:08:52.500 millions to the truth of what Jesus came to do to save them for eternity?
01:08:58.020 Would you do it?
01:08:58.820 He would say, sign me up, because that was his mission anyway.
01:09:03.560 Of course, he'd hate, obviously, to leave Erica and those two beautiful kids, but he would
01:09:08.000 know the ripple effect.
01:09:09.340 He would say, I would give my life for this.
01:09:12.740 That was what he was all about, Megan.
01:09:15.000 He was Jesus number one.
01:09:16.840 Everything else was secondary.
01:09:19.060 I know it's true.
01:09:20.360 I mean, I think when I listen to you, I think of a soldier.
01:09:24.400 I think of, you know, a Navy SEAL or a Ranger or a Green Beret, and they know the danger
01:09:30.060 is immense before they jump out of this helicopter or go into this compound and storm, you know,
01:09:35.680 an ISIS-infected place.
01:09:37.660 They know they might die.
01:09:39.100 They're very aware that they might die, and they do it anyway because they're courageous
01:09:42.980 and there are some things greater than self that they're willing to sacrifice for.
01:09:47.720 And I see Charlie that same way because he knew this was dangerous.
01:09:51.500 I mean, he knew this had grown dangerous beyond a point where I think the rest of us expect
01:09:56.680 it to be.
01:09:57.100 You're right.
01:09:58.880 In fact, about six months ago, something happened in the news where someone prominent, I can't
01:10:07.500 remember the exact situation, but somebody prominent got shot.
01:10:10.660 And so I texted him.
01:10:11.520 I said, Charlie, I hope you've increased your security detail.
01:10:16.820 And he said, I have.
01:10:18.600 I know they want me dead.
01:10:20.480 And now, I don't know who, I don't think he had a specific they in mind, Megan, but
01:10:28.820 he knew that there was hostility.
01:10:32.000 I mean, he got death threats all the time, and he knew there was hostility out there.
01:10:36.520 And in fact, when we were driving into that event, this is the first event I've gone to
01:10:41.420 a college campus with Charlie.
01:10:42.800 He said, Frank, if you can come help me the first couple of days, could you stay an extra
01:10:46.740 day and come with me to the first event?
01:10:48.200 I said, of course.
01:10:48.700 So we're driving in, Megan, and his team has drones up, looking at the crowd from above,
01:10:56.420 and they text him some video.
01:10:58.480 And there's thousands of people there an hour before the start.
01:11:03.840 And I said, Charlie, I don't like this place.
01:11:06.680 There's too many buildings.
01:11:09.060 But he shrugged it off.
01:11:10.860 He knew there were thousands of people there.
01:11:12.700 And he knew in order to minister to people, you can't completely isolate yourself.
01:11:16.700 It's just like love.
01:11:18.980 You can't keep your heart in a box.
01:11:21.460 You got to give it away.
01:11:23.780 If you keep it in a box, you'll protect it.
01:11:26.660 It won't get hurt, but you won't love anyone.
01:11:29.560 And Charlie loved people.
01:11:31.300 He wanted to go out and interact with them.
01:11:33.480 He wanted them to bring whatever question or objection they had to him so he could try and
01:11:39.920 persuade them to the truth.
01:11:41.340 And he knew that meant risk.
01:11:44.380 Do you think he was scared at all?
01:11:46.920 Like that morning, did he have any sort of a premonition?
01:11:51.780 No, no, Megan.
01:11:52.940 He was...
01:11:54.900 We got off the...
01:11:57.060 We got out of the car after we prayed.
01:11:59.120 And so many people out there.
01:12:02.220 There were all these kids from TPUSA lined up.
01:12:04.880 And you take pictures with them.
01:12:05.960 And then we're about to walk in.
01:12:08.260 It was kind of an amphitheater.
01:12:09.600 And you were walking in from the front of it, like right toward the crowd.
01:12:13.700 And he's just going, welcome to the big leagues.
01:12:17.800 It was like a Trump rally.
01:12:20.360 I mean, people were chanting USA, USA.
01:12:23.380 And Charlie starts flipping hats.
01:12:24.860 And I'm just standing there with my phone going, this is amazing.
01:12:29.860 And then somebody hands me hats.
01:12:31.980 So I give my phone to Danny there, the guy that you had on the podcast yesterday.
01:12:35.960 And he starts filming.
01:12:37.040 And so I'm flipping hats, you know?
01:12:39.640 Right.
01:12:40.040 Right.
01:12:40.360 You're in on the action.
01:12:41.660 Yeah.
01:12:41.980 It was just such a festive atmosphere.
01:12:44.740 It was...
01:12:45.200 We actually have a little tape of it, Frank.
01:12:47.120 Let me show it.
01:12:47.760 It's not 50.
01:12:50.080 Wow.
01:12:50.580 Look at that.
01:12:51.400 Beautiful.
01:12:54.600 Look at that.
01:12:55.360 It's...
01:12:55.840 Just give him a little taste.
01:13:04.600 This is inside Charlie's car.
01:13:06.360 Now he's out of it, throwing hats.
01:13:08.780 Wow.
01:13:09.160 Huge crowd.
01:13:09.700 It's really incredible, Frank, because I remember Charlie doing these events.
01:13:28.460 And you'd get like a handful of people who would show up and see him.
01:13:31.920 And it had grown, as Andrew's been saying, into tent revivals.
01:13:36.760 It has.
01:13:37.220 He was kind of a cross between Billy Graham and Rush Limbaugh.
01:13:40.660 Yes.
01:13:41.720 You know?
01:13:42.120 Yes.
01:13:42.760 That's perfect.
01:13:43.640 Exactly right.
01:13:44.880 It was like people who, even if they weren't Christians, loved him.
01:13:49.040 And even if people weren't conservatives, but they were Christians, loved him.
01:13:52.780 Everybody on the secular and Christian right loved him.
01:13:59.360 Yep.
01:13:59.980 And in the middle, I think, too.
01:14:01.660 He had the middle.
01:14:02.500 He just didn't have the left.
01:14:04.540 Yeah.
01:14:04.800 No, but he was reaching out to the left.
01:14:06.920 Can I say one other thing about this, Megan?
01:14:08.800 I think the biggest mistake that our country is making and has made in quite a long time
01:14:14.740 is for us to think that love means approval.
01:14:19.260 Love does not mean approval.
01:14:21.240 I mean, you know, you have kids.
01:14:22.440 I have kids.
01:14:22.980 If you approve of everything your kid wants to do, are you loving?
01:14:27.020 No, of course not.
01:14:28.100 If you approve of evil they want to do, you're not loving.
01:14:33.040 You're enabling them.
01:14:35.060 And in the passage that everybody reads at their wedding, but hardly anybody obeys, the
01:14:39.720 first letter to the Corinthians chapter 13, the great chapter on love, the Apostle Paul
01:14:44.160 says, love always protects.
01:14:47.160 Love does not rejoice in wrongdoing.
01:14:49.640 Love rejoices in the truth.
01:14:51.720 Love always perseveres.
01:14:53.360 If you want to love someone, you have to tell them the truth, even if they don't like it.
01:15:00.220 And love means seeking what's best for them according to the will of God, not what they
01:15:05.440 want to hear, but what they need to hear.
01:15:07.920 In fact, as the great Thomas Sowell said, he said, when you want to help people, you tell
01:15:13.720 them the truth.
01:15:14.840 When you want to help yourself, you tell them what they want to hear.
01:15:19.000 How often do we tell people, Megan, what they want to hear rather than what they need to
01:15:24.740 hear?
01:15:24.920 Because we don't want them mad at us, right?
01:15:27.260 When, and so we say, okay, I'm with you.
01:15:30.160 Whatever you want to do is fine.
01:15:31.260 And we think that's love.
01:15:33.220 That is not love.
01:15:35.040 That is enablement.
01:15:37.140 And I was just at a university just two nights ago, because Charlie would want us to continue
01:15:42.040 to go to these universities.
01:15:43.180 And a young person got up and basically said, well, you don't agree with me, so you don't
01:15:49.360 love me.
01:15:49.900 And I'm like, you don't agree with me.
01:15:52.420 I mean, disagreement is not hate.
01:15:55.840 Disagreement is just, you have a different opinion about something than I have.
01:16:00.740 Let's talk about it and work it out.
01:16:02.260 And that's what Charlie was doing.
01:16:04.180 And yet somebody who claimed he was a hater shot him in the neck.
01:16:09.400 Who's the hater?
01:16:10.180 You were steps away in that tent when it happened.
01:16:16.200 Did you know in the moment that it was a gunshot?
01:16:19.800 Yes.
01:16:21.040 And, and I, I had worried about this, Megan, even long before this date.
01:16:25.380 And I always, I always said to myself, if I'm ever with Charlie in there and they take
01:16:29.540 a shot at him, what am I going to do?
01:16:31.360 Because I, like I was in the Navy, in the Navy, you, you always, as all military, you always
01:16:38.680 have emergency procedures.
01:16:39.900 You think about stuff before it happens and you decide before it happens.
01:16:45.540 So you don't even have to think when it happens.
01:16:48.000 So when the shot, when I heard the shot, the first thing I thought was go to Charlie, but
01:16:56.320 his security detail was right there, Megan.
01:16:59.800 And so I took two steps toward Charlie.
01:17:02.700 I was maybe 25 feet off his left elbow, right elbow, sorry.
01:17:06.780 And I started heading toward him and then the security team was there.
01:17:11.020 And so, okay, we got Charlie.
01:17:12.820 So then I ducked thinking, okay, there's going to be more shots.
01:17:16.680 And they went out one side behind the tent.
01:17:21.300 I went out the other side and started running with them to the car.
01:17:25.600 And we had this SUV lined up, the SUV we took in, the one you just saw in that, that film
01:17:33.840 clip a couple of minutes ago.
01:17:35.100 And, uh, they got him on the right side of the car.
01:17:39.300 They, they opened the back door and, and kind of drug him in and I couldn't get in either
01:17:43.620 door.
01:17:44.040 So I popped the gate open and got in the back and climbed over the seat.
01:17:51.520 And so his, uh, his, Justin was driving.
01:17:59.040 Dan, Dan, his main security guy had the GPS in the passenger seat, Rick, right to my left
01:18:06.740 was on the head side of Charlie.
01:18:08.760 He was dragging him across the seat and Brian was in to my right where the door was.
01:18:16.360 And Charlie, as you know, Megan, six foot four, so too tall.
01:18:20.140 We couldn't close the door.
01:18:22.440 Just go, go, let's go.
01:18:24.660 So we just started driving and it's not an emergency vehicle.
01:18:29.800 There's no sirens.
01:18:30.640 There's no lights.
01:18:32.820 There's, we're just beeping the horn.
01:18:35.500 And I don't know how Brian stayed in the car.
01:18:38.120 Cause we're just yanking and banking, trying to get to this, this hospital.
01:18:42.040 It's like a little over four miles away.
01:18:44.940 Um, and as we're, as we're heading there, maybe halfway there, there's a, there's an ambulance
01:18:52.020 coming toward us going toward the venue.
01:18:54.600 And we're, we're, should we stop?
01:18:56.260 No, just keep going.
01:18:57.600 Just the doctor later said that was the right thing to do.
01:19:00.980 And we're trying to stop the bleeding.
01:19:05.740 And I said, we got to start CPR.
01:19:10.700 I'm looking down at Charlie.
01:19:11.920 I mean, he's, he's a foot from me.
01:19:14.200 His face is a foot from me.
01:19:15.520 And, uh, his eyes are fixed, Megan.
01:19:22.900 He's not looking at me.
01:19:24.200 He's looking into eternity.
01:19:26.160 He was already with Jesus.
01:19:29.140 Absent from the body, present with the Lord, says the New Testament.
01:19:34.940 And, uh, but we had to start CPR anyway.
01:19:38.860 So we did, I just started pounding on him.
01:19:41.460 Um, trying to get him to respond, couldn't do it, got to the, got to the hospital and
01:19:51.240 just ran him right in, right in through the emergency room.
01:19:54.520 And, and they, uh, they had a team there and they started pounding on him and started putting
01:20:02.100 blood in them.
01:20:02.840 And they did get a pulse, but later the doctor said, that's just because he was healthy.
01:20:10.060 Um, but the, the shot was catastrophic.
01:20:14.840 Let me just put it that way.
01:20:15.960 It was, we couldn't have done anything.
01:20:18.720 We, he died at first day there when he was killed instantly.
01:20:23.180 The only, the only comfort is that he didn't, he didn't experience any, any pain, according
01:20:28.240 to the doctor.
01:20:28.900 He was just, just taken out.
01:20:32.160 What did the doctor say when, when he came out?
01:20:35.360 What did the doctor say when he came out?
01:20:37.260 Well, there was one doctor that basically said, okay, we have a pulse.
01:20:43.700 So we're all praying out loud.
01:20:45.580 We're like, come on, come on, give us a sliver of hope here.
01:20:50.960 And, uh, we're praying out loud in the car on the way there.
01:20:54.340 And, uh, then they brought him into surgery and about, I'd say a half hour later, the head
01:21:04.720 surgeon came out and said, he's dead.
01:21:08.060 Hmm.
01:21:08.580 And that's when the great Mikey McCoy showed up.
01:21:13.280 Actually, he was there just before that happened.
01:21:16.540 And, uh, 23 years old, he's calling the vice president.
01:21:22.540 He's calling Erica.
01:21:24.120 He's sending a plane to get Erica.
01:21:27.040 He's, uh, talking, he's, he's asking the doctor real hard questions.
01:21:32.300 He's, he's, he's shaking a little bit, but he knows what he needs to do.
01:21:38.240 He said, Charlie would want me to do this.
01:21:41.300 And he just took over.
01:21:43.900 Uh, I couldn't be more proud of that man.
01:21:46.500 Love that man.
01:21:48.080 23 years.
01:21:48.940 He was a very impressive guy.
01:21:50.680 We spent some time with him yesterday in the audience, got to see him, meet him on the
01:21:53.840 show.
01:21:54.440 I, I've been wondering since last Wednesday, how are the guards?
01:21:59.360 Do you know, they must be so shaken up.
01:22:03.400 Yeah.
01:22:03.800 Um, that whole day I just kept going to hugging him saying, this is not your fault.
01:22:07.580 I'm telling you, Megan, any one of those guys would have taken a bullet for Charlie.
01:22:12.060 They loved him.
01:22:14.240 They would have.
01:22:16.020 And, uh, they're professionals.
01:22:18.920 The most of them have military background or at law enforcement background.
01:22:24.620 Uh, they, they would have died for Charlie.
01:22:27.400 Like Jesus died for us.
01:22:29.760 They, they, they would have done it.
01:22:32.420 And, you know, I'd like to think I would have done it too, but I can't be the apostle
01:22:37.460 Peter and say, Oh Lord, I'll never deny you.
01:22:39.340 And then I would, you know, I don't know.
01:22:41.000 I, I, I'd like to think I'd have done the right thing if I had a chance to, but I, um,
01:22:46.620 he was like a son to me, Megan.
01:22:48.660 That's why I had to be in that car.
01:22:50.860 I, you know, imagine your, your, your, God forbid, one of your children, you get shot.
01:22:55.640 You're not going to stay behind and, you know, I'll see you at the hospital.
01:22:57.760 No, I had to be in that car.
01:22:59.660 Mm-hmm.
01:23:00.520 Mm-hmm.
01:23:01.480 I know you had your phone on and your son was hearing all of this too.
01:23:05.280 So, I mean, he must, he must've been traumatized just listening to it all.
01:23:10.320 Yeah.
01:23:10.580 He, it was my son and daughter-in-law.
01:23:12.760 I mean, he's 35 years old.
01:23:14.000 And I was just, I was FaceTiming them because they love Charlie.
01:23:18.720 And I was just, well, I, at first I was FaceTiming my wife and then I said, let me call Spencer.
01:23:23.660 And so I started FaceTiming him.
01:23:25.880 During the event.
01:23:27.120 During the event.
01:23:27.860 Yeah.
01:23:28.020 Both during the event.
01:23:29.560 And, uh, and then when the shot rang out, I just, as I say, started heading toward the car
01:23:36.000 and I just put the phone in my back pocket.
01:23:37.880 I didn't even, I didn't turn it off.
01:23:40.140 I just, you know, instinctively.
01:23:42.720 And, uh, by the time I got to the hotel, I pulled it out.
01:23:45.100 They were still there.
01:23:47.120 So they heard the whole thing.
01:23:50.300 Do you know why the roofs were, of the buildings were not protected?
01:23:56.420 I wish I knew, Megan.
01:23:58.840 I wish I knew.
01:23:59.840 I, as I understand it, that was the university police's role.
01:24:03.840 That's my understanding too.
01:24:05.080 This is Butler PA all over again, isn't it?
01:24:07.880 Yep.
01:24:08.760 You know, like what, what, what's.
01:24:10.860 There does need to be a real investigation as to why, why that they weren't patrolling
01:24:15.600 that roof.
01:24:16.880 I know.
01:24:17.260 The local PD or the campus police, whoever had the responsibility, but that's my understanding
01:24:21.860 as well.
01:24:23.040 I hope Cash Patel and Dan Bongino and the folks, the local people in Utah will look into that
01:24:32.560 because somebody obviously dropped a really big ball there and I mean, okay, make a mistake
01:24:41.220 once, maybe twice.
01:24:43.420 You guys haven't learned from this kind of thing.
01:24:45.120 This was national news a year ago.
01:24:49.300 There's no excuse that it was a failure of imagination.
01:24:52.100 You didn't need imagination.
01:24:53.180 You had an example 14 months earlier.
01:24:55.000 So, I mean, I really would love to hear answers from that team on what happened.
01:25:00.460 Like why?
01:25:01.340 I'm going to guess understaffing, but I will have to wait and see.
01:25:04.840 No, and, and the, and the security team itself, Megan, they, they, they hated amphitheaters.
01:25:12.040 Why?
01:25:12.620 You know, because any shooter could be elevated above Charlie.
01:25:17.560 But Charlie couldn't get these huge crowds indoors, right?
01:25:20.520 Is that, that's my understanding.
01:25:21.680 Like the crowds were just too big.
01:25:23.360 There was no room on these campuses adequate.
01:25:26.700 No room on the campus adequate.
01:25:28.260 And also Charlie loved people so much that he wanted to attract people walking by.
01:25:32.060 See, you don't, you don't get that indoors.
01:25:36.340 So when you're out on the quad, you know, just passerbys will get sucked into the conversation.
01:25:43.640 And so that's how it started.
01:25:44.920 That's how it started back when he only had a handful and grew it, grew it by doing exactly that.
01:25:50.520 Without divulging any confidences, have you spent time with Erica?
01:25:55.380 I, I confess I had the honor of spending some time with her yesterday.
01:25:59.100 And I was, I'll just say this, utterly amazed by her, amazed by her.
01:26:05.080 Well, multiply that by 10 for me, because that Friday night speech, Megan, that may have been
01:26:14.400 the most inspirational 30 minutes I've ever witnessed.
01:26:19.980 How did she do it?
01:26:21.240 How, is she that strong a person?
01:26:23.120 Did you know that before this?
01:26:25.020 No, I didn't know it.
01:26:26.440 I mean, I, I, I, in my life, I've spent very little time with Erica.
01:26:29.980 I mean, I just, I was, Charlie introduced me a few times, you know, hello, hello, that kind of thing.
01:26:38.080 The only time I spent with her was with other people the night of the murder.
01:26:41.900 Not, you know, we were, well, we were at that hospital for probably six or seven hours after the, the murder.
01:26:56.320 And I would say Erica got there maybe three hours after the murder, something like that.
01:27:02.660 And, and, uh, of course she had to have a long talk with the surgeons and then she had to go see Charlie and
01:27:07.420 had to do a number of things.
01:27:10.400 And when, when the, she was done with Charlie and we were about to head out, we were, we were going to,
01:27:19.920 we were changing cities essentially.
01:27:22.160 Charlie and of course, Mikey arranged it all.
01:27:26.220 Um, she came out into the hallway and I was just standing there.
01:27:30.100 I was standing in scrubs for, well, you can imagine why I couldn't wear my clothes.
01:27:36.860 And, uh, she saw me and just came up to me and she said, he loved you.
01:27:41.340 And he was doing what he loved to do when he died.
01:27:44.260 And we just hugged one another.
01:27:45.540 And then she said something about making sure her husband's legacy continued.
01:27:59.580 And in, in the moment she was cognizant of that moment she had just seen Charlie.
01:28:08.800 Dead.
01:28:11.040 She comes downstairs.
01:28:13.240 It's basically, let's go.
01:28:15.540 And, uh, and then I, they, they, they roped off the vehicle that we took out of there as a crime scene.
01:28:27.760 I don't know why it wasn't part of the crime scene really.
01:28:30.520 So we couldn't get into the vehicle until the FBI cleared it.
01:28:35.400 And it happened.
01:28:36.620 So happened that Charlie in the back seat below him between these two bucket seats with my computer bag.
01:28:44.420 So everything, I couldn't go anywhere.
01:28:48.060 You know, my wallet was in there.
01:28:49.300 I wasn't going anywhere anyway, but I had to go in and get that out.
01:28:52.740 And so when they finally cleared it, I got into the car and I pulled out my bag.
01:28:58.100 And draped over my bag was Charlie's necklace that had a cross and medallions on it.
01:29:07.520 And I had heard they were looking for that.
01:29:09.680 And so cop was like, oh, we've been looking for that.
01:29:15.460 I said, I got it.
01:29:17.340 So I just took it.
01:29:19.720 I don't, this is, I don't understand this.
01:29:21.920 I like, I do not.
01:29:22.880 I saw the necklace.
01:29:26.060 Erica's wearing it.
01:29:27.780 And it had a cross on it and it had a St. Michael's medal.
01:29:33.200 St. Michael.
01:29:34.780 I mean, St. Michael, he's the one who's supposed to protect us in battle, defend us against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
01:29:43.140 It's like, I don't get it.
01:29:44.360 And I don't know why I'm putting it all on St. Michael as opposed to Jesus.
01:29:47.480 And, you know, he was wearing a cross.
01:29:49.440 He was wearing a St. Michael medal.
01:29:50.500 I just feel like if I went out in front of a crowd wearing a cross and a St. Michael's medal, I would feel next to invincible.
01:29:58.000 I just, and not only was he shot and killed, he was shot and killed around the neck, just exactly where the necklace was.
01:30:06.240 I know what you said about, you know, God sacrificed his own son, but I just feel like this doesn't make sense to me.
01:30:14.460 I'm angry.
01:30:15.540 I'm mad at God.
01:30:17.720 Oh, I get it.
01:30:18.860 I certainly get it.
01:30:21.300 And it's okay to be mad at God.
01:30:23.320 Read the Psalms, right?
01:30:24.560 Sometimes the Psalms are going, hey, God, you know, we're doing okay down here.
01:30:28.180 Where are you?
01:30:29.480 Right?
01:30:30.740 And it's perfectly legitimate to question God.
01:30:35.460 I mean, Job did.
01:30:36.800 It's perfectly legitimate.
01:30:37.760 God can take it.
01:30:39.080 But just don't blaspheme God.
01:30:40.640 Just don't say, I'm no longer a believer.
01:30:42.200 I just want to know God.
01:30:43.300 I want to know why this happened.
01:30:46.280 Now, when people ask me, why did this happen?
01:30:48.920 I say, well, I know why it happened in general.
01:30:51.540 We live in a fallen world.
01:30:52.760 None of us are guaranteed 80, you know, pain-free years.
01:30:56.440 Right?
01:30:57.020 And if Christianity is true, people don't really die.
01:31:00.120 They just change location.
01:31:01.840 They go from this life to the next life.
01:31:04.120 And it's up to God when that happens.
01:31:07.160 Why did God allow Charlie to be killed?
01:31:09.540 Why didn't our prayer in the car before protect him?
01:31:13.120 Well, I don't know why, Megan, but I know why I don't know why.
01:31:17.920 I'm inside a time.
01:31:19.340 I hardly know any of the past, very little of the present.
01:31:21.640 I know none of the future.
01:31:23.680 But maybe God allowing this to happen is going to set forth a ripple that we talked about earlier
01:31:29.260 that's going to bring many to Christ, that many people are going to come to Christ around the world.
01:31:37.560 And, I mean, sometimes pain does that.
01:31:40.780 Sometimes you only look up when you're on your back.
01:31:42.880 You're going to look up when you're on your back.
01:31:43.120 I don't know about you, but when everything's going really great for me, I tend to forget about God.
01:31:49.020 And so pain and suffering can wake us up.
01:31:52.260 As C.S. Lewis famously said, that pain is God's megaphone to arouse a morally deaf world.
01:31:59.360 And a lot of times we're deaf.
01:32:01.360 Notice that we're not deaf anymore.
01:32:04.540 Notice that you and I are talking about eternal things right now.
01:32:08.340 And hopefully people are interested in it now.
01:32:11.620 Because of the example of one man and now the example of his wife who's going to rule the world, Megan.
01:32:22.320 I mean, she's a Khaleesi-like figure.
01:32:25.040 Oh, she's unbelievable.
01:32:27.880 I just couldn't believe what she said the other day.
01:32:30.620 And so good is going to come from this.
01:32:34.580 God can redeem evil.
01:32:35.760 You know, there's a passage in the second letter to the Corinthians where the Apostle Paul is talking about suffering.
01:32:41.180 And he says this, Megan.
01:32:42.360 And he says, our light and momentary afflictions are achieving for us a greater weight of glory that far outweighs them all.
01:32:51.120 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, for what is seen is temporary.
01:32:55.420 We fix our eyes on what is unseen, for what is unseen is eternal.
01:32:58.860 And there's a lot right now, Megan, going on that's eternal that we might not see.
01:33:04.560 But a lot of people are coming into the kingdom now.
01:33:09.340 I mean, I'm seeing it on my comments.
01:33:11.560 I got people in Denmark going, I was an atheist.
01:33:15.500 Now I'm a Christian because of Charlie Kirk.
01:33:17.900 People in Australia, people all over the world are waking up because of this tragedy.
01:33:25.240 Did God want it to happen?
01:33:26.880 No.
01:33:27.240 Did God allow it to happen?
01:33:29.220 Yes.
01:33:29.860 And he can bring good from it, even good we can't see right now.
01:33:34.360 Do you think Charlie knows?
01:33:36.420 You know, when I saw the announcement from Turning Point, 62,000 now college and high school chapters applied for.
01:33:43.000 They only had 2,000 total between college and high school eight days ago.
01:33:47.220 Now they, another 62,000.
01:33:48.720 And I just saw an article this morning in the paper talking about the number of trans identified youth now in Gen Z at all time highs.
01:33:59.940 You know, this young, vulnerable population has been brainwashed into thinking that this is something they should mess with their gender.
01:34:06.300 It's, it's so pernicious.
01:34:07.640 It's evil.
01:34:08.220 And I look at Gen Alpha, you know, they say born after 2006 is when we start Gen Alpha.
01:34:15.400 And that's my kids.
01:34:16.960 And I see it, Frank.
01:34:18.320 I don't, they're not falling for this stuff.
01:34:20.800 I think Gen Alpha is going to be the answer to Gen Z and what we've done to them and help hopefully set them straight.
01:34:27.060 And I think they're part of, and that tail end of Gen Z are the ones who are applying for these applications at Turning Point.
01:34:33.600 And I, and I, and my daughter said to me, and I said, oh, if Charlie could only see it.
01:34:38.160 And she said, he can, he can see it, mom.
01:34:41.980 What do you make of it, Frank?
01:34:43.540 Oh, I, I agree with you.
01:34:45.080 I, I, I think there's a lot of rejoicing in heaven right now.
01:34:48.620 I mean, Charlie's a martyr.
01:34:51.260 And it's been said before that the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church, that this wakes us up.
01:35:00.240 And let me also say that people like you and, of course, Charlie and, and others in the conservative world have spoken out clearly on the dangers of this gender ideology.
01:35:16.820 And unfortunately, many pastors have not.
01:35:21.580 And so let me commend you and Charlie and others to speak out about this issue.
01:35:25.500 Why?
01:35:25.760 Because we love people who are tempted to think this is the solution to their pain.
01:35:32.860 It's not because we hate them.
01:35:34.340 It's because we love them.
01:35:35.880 Why is Charlie putting his life on the line, going to college campuses to talk about these things and offer these folks the microphone, if not for love, Megan?
01:35:46.840 What, what other reason?
01:35:47.680 He doesn't, it's not for money.
01:35:49.560 He doesn't need money.
01:35:50.900 He doesn't need notoriety.
01:35:52.500 He has that.
01:35:53.440 He's not getting any of the big three that cause us often to make bad decisions, sex, money, and power.
01:35:59.280 He's not getting any of that.
01:36:01.660 He's doing it because he loves them.
01:36:04.000 And he loves these kids.
01:36:05.440 And he's got a generation of kids coming up in his own family.
01:36:08.480 And he wants a bright future for them.
01:36:11.540 So we love people.
01:36:14.260 That's why we tell them the truth.
01:36:15.900 And so if there's people watching this podcast right now.
01:36:20.080 I told the audience this when it happened, but we went to an Episcopalian service about a year ago.
01:36:25.560 I did.
01:36:26.540 I'm Catholic, but I went to an Episcopalian service.
01:36:28.540 And we walk right in.
01:36:29.300 There was a female priest, pastor.
01:36:32.000 And the whole homily was about transing children, how we need to accept them, how they need to be encouraged.
01:36:41.360 There's nothing wrong with it.
01:36:43.000 I got up and walked out.
01:36:44.500 I don't even know what this is.
01:36:46.020 What are you saying?
01:36:46.700 This is exactly the opposite of what God would want.
01:36:50.060 To be told, yes, you are born in the wrong body.
01:36:52.980 I made a mistake on you.
01:36:54.160 You should start cutting off healthy body parts in a way that will damage your enjoyment of life and your wellness forever.
01:37:00.360 What?
01:37:00.760 It's madness.
01:37:02.200 It is, Megan.
01:37:03.180 I mean, imagine if your daughter came to you and said, mom, I'm a mermaid.
01:37:06.180 Would you take her off the coast and drop her in the ocean?
01:37:09.480 No.
01:37:10.000 You'd say, honey, your mind is playing tricks on you.
01:37:13.160 Let me let's get you some help.
01:37:15.340 OK, you wouldn't affirm the delusion.
01:37:19.020 If your daughter's struggling with anorexia, you wouldn't say, honey, you know what?
01:37:23.360 I got to get you liposuction.
01:37:25.200 You're absolutely right.
01:37:26.040 You're overweight.
01:37:27.240 You would say, no, dear.
01:37:29.960 Let me help you.
01:37:31.940 Your mind is playing tricks on you.
01:37:34.380 We have to get you some prayer.
01:37:35.980 We have to get you some counseling.
01:37:37.560 We have to get you maybe some medication.
01:37:40.760 But I can't affirm something that's going to hurt you.
01:37:44.780 That would not be loving.
01:37:46.100 That would be enabling evil.
01:37:50.800 Charlie was super clear on all of that.
01:37:52.620 We talked about that issue a lot behind closed doors and on the air.
01:37:57.740 And unfortunately, he talked about it so much that he somehow got into the ear of Tyler Robinson.
01:38:04.000 And, you know, while the left wants to pretend that that had nothing to do with the motive, it's very obvious.
01:38:09.340 He was living with somebody who was, quote, transitioning, which is not possible from male to female, had all this furry culture connection, which is very linked to the trans community.
01:38:19.500 And that man stole Charlie Kirk from the world.
01:38:21.880 What do you make about the death penalty and his shooter?
01:38:28.200 Well, can I say something about the shooter first?
01:38:31.200 I hope the shooter repents and accepts Jesus, number one.
01:38:36.080 And then I hope he's executed.
01:38:39.020 Because I'm pro-life.
01:38:43.060 I know you are.
01:38:44.660 But pro-life doesn't mean that a guilty murderer should not be punished.
01:38:51.000 It means an innocent baby should not be punished.
01:38:55.020 In fact, capital punishment is given by God to the government to protect innocent people from evil.
01:39:04.800 This is in Genesis chapter 9.
01:39:06.880 It's in Romans chapter 13, where Paul says that God gives the ruler the sword for a reason.
01:39:16.720 The sword is a reference to capital punishment, to protect innocent people from evil, to punish wrongdoers.
01:39:21.600 And when Jesus was before Pontius Pilate at his trial, Jesus said to Pilate, or I should say Pilate said to Jesus,
01:39:30.680 don't you know I have the authority to kill you?
01:39:33.280 And Jesus said, you do.
01:39:36.020 But you get that authority from above.
01:39:38.540 In other words, God delegates to governments capital punishment in order to protect innocent people from evil
01:39:46.040 and to demonstrate that life is so valuable that if you wantonly take a life, your life will be taken because of that crime.
01:39:55.860 Frank, I only have a short time left, but can you give us a thought?
01:39:58.920 What should we be thinking about going into this weekend, Sunday Mass, Charlie, his funeral?
01:40:05.440 Give us a thought going into the weekend.
01:40:06.920 We should be thinking about the fact that we all have evil on our hearts and we all have to repent of our sins
01:40:13.980 and we all have to have Jesus take our sins from us and give us his righteousness
01:40:19.520 and pray for everybody involved that they would repent and accept the gift Christ provides for us.
01:40:27.740 You know what's crazy?
01:40:29.480 Trusting the government or some random insurance agent to give good Medicare support.
01:40:34.240 That's how people could wind up stuck in the wrong plan.
01:40:36.400 Get this.
01:40:37.840 Trump's Department of Justice sued three, count them, three major Medicare brokers for pretending to be unbiased
01:40:43.580 while allegedly pushing people into the plans that got the brokers the biggest kickbacks.
01:40:48.540 Let's be honest.
01:40:49.860 The government made a mess of Medicare and no one should have to untangle that mess alone.
01:40:54.880 That's why I want to tell you about Chapter.
01:40:57.300 Chapter compares every single plan nationwide, not just the ones that pay the biggest commissions.
01:41:02.040 Because of that, they can save people an average of $1,100 per year.
01:41:06.400 That's real money.
01:41:07.700 So whether you are brand new to Medicare or you've been on it for years, consider making the call and finding out more.
01:41:13.740 If you're already in the best plan, Chapter will tell you.
01:41:16.540 If not, they could help you save thousands.
01:41:18.920 It's free.
01:41:19.360 It's fast.
01:41:19.860 And in less than 20 minutes, they will review your options.
01:41:23.300 Call the number 27 Medicare today.
01:41:25.160 That's 27 Medicare.
01:41:26.140 And finally, feel confident about your Medicare.
01:41:28.940 We absolutely have to keep talking.
01:41:32.880 It's more important now than ever.
01:41:34.840 This fall, Megyn Kelly is taking her show live to cities nationwide.
01:41:39.640 To go silent is not the answer.

01:41:49.400 We're going to make it safe for my team and my guests and you.

01:43:06.060 Keep calling the truth out.
01:43:09.360 Keep getting it out there, Megyn.
01:43:11.560 You're amazing at it.
01:43:13.200 Did I?
01:43:13.460 I got to say one more thing.
01:43:14.720 I was talking to Charlie.
01:43:16.000 I don't know if I mentioned this before.
01:43:17.560 And I said, if there's one person in the public square I would never want to debate, it's Megyn Kelly.
01:43:21.800 And he said, totally.
01:43:25.320 Oh, we'd have nothing to debate.
01:43:27.220 We're on the same side on everything.
01:43:28.320 Well, I know.
01:43:28.760 But if you took opposite positions, I would not want to debate you.
01:43:31.700 You're so sharp.
01:43:32.740 And I got to ask you a question from my wife.
01:43:35.580 How are you de-aging?
01:43:37.800 Okay.
01:43:38.040 Is there some sort of Megyn Kelly?
01:43:41.460 You tell her.
01:43:42.500 Okay.
01:43:42.780 I do to use Botox.
01:43:44.840 I admit to it.
01:43:46.040 And twice a year, I get a Fraxel.
01:43:49.060 It's this laser procedure that really, truly does work miracles.
01:43:53.300 Not the true miracles, but good miracles.
01:43:55.920 And it's like no downtime.
01:43:57.380 It's not cheap, but it works.
01:43:59.600 Fraxel.
01:44:00.140 Twice a year.
01:44:00.940 Fraxel.
01:44:01.360 Well, you're amazing.
01:44:02.100 And you ought to release the Megyn Kelly youth cream.
01:44:04.880 The de-aging cream.
01:44:06.300 All right.
01:44:06.800 I will text you as soon as I have it.
01:44:08.860 Thanks, Frank.
01:44:09.780 God bless you.
01:44:10.460 Thank you.

01:44:23.480 Lots to think about.
