00:00:31.000 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, live on Sirius XM Channel 111 every weekday at New East.
00:00:42.720 Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show.
00:00:46.080 Oh my gosh, there's so much to go over. I'm excited.
00:00:48.620 It feels good to set the record straight with all the lying that is going on in the mainstream media.
00:00:56.740 It's cathartic for me to sit here and talk to you directly about what is real and the absolute lies being told to you in every corner of the media.
00:01:07.380 The debate this week between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris exposed ABC's Trump derangement syndrome
00:01:14.080 as it has officially descended into no longer being a news organization.
00:01:18.280 That is better for us to know.
00:01:20.200 It's truly, between that Media Research Center report on how the coverage of Kamala Harris was 93% positive, 92%,
00:01:26.500 and Trump was 97% negative, and then what we saw on Tuesday night.
00:01:30.920 It's great. It's great to have these reminders, because most of us aren't watching them like a hawk.
00:01:35.860 We're off living our lives.
00:01:37.600 But it's important to know these things.
00:01:40.120 Of course, it's not just ABC.
00:01:41.420 We are learning a lot about the biased corporate media in the wake of the debate all over the place,
00:01:46.900 with organizations like Time Magazine, The New Yorker, and CNN proving they either do not know
00:01:52.900 or do not care about Kamala Harris's actual positions.
00:01:58.780 Actual positions.
00:02:00.360 There are some egregious examples, and we're going to get to it all.

00:03:15.680 Buck, welcome back.
00:03:17.480 There's so much to go over, but here's where I think I want to begin with the media,
00:03:23.240 including Time Magazine, telling us that it's not true that Kamala Harris supports—I'm not going to say supported.
00:03:33.400 She hasn't reversed herself—taxpayer-funded sex change operations for illegal immigrants and prisoners.
00:03:43.700 Illegal immigrants and incarcerated people.
00:03:46.100 Trump raised this at the debate, and many in the left-wing media freaked out, saying it was another crazy Trump lie.
00:04:00.420 Notably, there was no question about this by the ABC moderators, and then you had reactions.
00:04:08.960 I'll get to the Time Magazine, but just I'll give you a taste for how this went.
00:04:13.020 Here's Keith Olbermann in Soft Hive.
00:04:14.660 There was then an extraordinary moment in which, you know, what were we expecting in an hour-and-a-half-long debate?
00:04:23.400 Fifty, sixty outright fabrications and lies, all of them familiar.
00:04:28.800 Well, we have a new one.
00:04:30.640 We have Kamala Harris wants to take your tax money to perform transgender operations on illegal immigrants.
00:04:44.660 The fact that she was able to manage for 90 minutes, almost without interruption, a look of, I'm about to burst into laughter, but I'll manage to control myself because I love the flag, is something I've never seen before in politics.
00:04:59.700 Okay, so he's obviously an extreme nutcase.
00:05:03.800 But let me tell you about Time Magazine.
00:05:07.080 Time Magazine.
00:05:08.760 The headline is, How Kamala Harris Knocked Donald Trump Off Course.
00:05:12.000 The former president repeated a baseless internet rumor that migrant invaders were killing and eating pet dogs and cats in Springfield, Ohio,
00:05:19.540 and claimed that Harris wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens in prison.
00:05:25.240 This is all under the auspices of how off-base and afactual Trump is.
00:05:30.460 They had to issue a correction yesterday at Time Magazine.
00:05:33.840 Quote, This story mischaracterized as false Donald Trump's statement accusing Harris of supporting transgender operations on illegal aliens in prison.
00:05:41.840 As a presidential candidate in 2019, Harris filled out a questionnaire saying she supported taxpayer-funded gender transition treatment for detained immigrants.
00:05:50.180 They had to call themselves out after all the blowback they got because this is not Breitbart reporting that Kamala Harris reported this.
00:05:59.760 And I like Breitbart, but I'm just saying the left wing always dismisses them.
00:06:02.920 It was CNN and Andrew Kaczynski at K-File who now is being harassed because of his reporting and unearthing this ACLU questionnaire she filled out
00:06:14.580 over the death of his young baby daughter by insane lunatics on the left.
00:06:19.500 Then there's the New Yorker's Susan Glaser, who is a far-left loon.
00:06:26.700 She has a piece titled, Donald Trump had a really, really bad night.
00:06:31.980 His line about how the vice president, quote,
00:06:34.900 wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison was pretty memorable.
00:06:40.820 What the hell was he talking about?
00:06:42.620 No one knows, which is, of course, exactly Harris's point.
00:06:45.960 As of 5 p.m. last night, I haven't checked it yet this morning, no correction by the New Yorker or Susan Glaser.
00:06:53.600 This is the K-File report by Andrew Kaczynski.
00:06:57.040 He did what a reporter should do.
00:06:59.260 He pulled her ACLU questionnaire she filled out in 2019.
00:07:03.320 And, indeed, she answered yes to all of this controversial stuff, saying, indeed, that—let me find it.
00:07:14.100 Let me get it exactly.
00:07:15.980 Okay.
00:07:16.560 She supported—she wrote, she supported taxpayer funding of gender transition surgeries for detained immigrants and federal prisoners.
00:07:27.280 Harris was asked if, as president, she would use executive authority to ensure that transgender and non-binary people who rely on the state for medical care,
00:07:35.500 including those in prison and in immigration detention,
00:07:38.520 will have access to comprehensive treatment associated with gender transition, including all necessary surgical care.
00:07:44.400 Harris replied, quote, yes.
00:07:46.020 And then she added, quote, this is her writing.
00:07:49.060 It is important that transgender individuals who rely on the state for care receive the treatment they need,
00:07:53.740 which includes access to treatment associated with gender transition.
00:07:57.320 She viewed gender transition treatment, quote, as a medical necessity and said,
00:08:03.920 I will direct all federal agencies responsible for providing essential medical care to deliver transition treatment.
00:08:10.460 This is a scandal, and the media failure and actual pushback on it is a secondary scandal.
00:08:16.520 And the fact that ABC did not raise this at all is a third scandal connected with Scandals 1 and 2.
00:08:24.200 Your thoughts?
00:08:24.600 Well, first off, I've seen video of Kamala Harris, which is now circulating,
00:08:29.920 where she essentially states that position and actually takes credit.
00:08:34.100 We have it where she's speaking of what she did for prisoners.
00:08:37.000 No, it's OK.
00:08:37.400 I'll let you finish.
00:08:38.020 But that's where she's speaking of what she did for prisoners.
00:08:40.680 The additional bonus of funding these procedures for all illegal immigrants here is another piece of it.
00:08:48.480 But I'm just saying, I mean, there's no question about this.
00:08:51.860 The only question is how long the media thinks they'll be able to lie and then and then pivot.
00:08:58.080 I mean, look, Megan, as far as as far as I'm concerned about all this stuff is from what I see, it's a good news, bad news situation.
00:09:06.260 I'll start with the bad news.
00:09:07.840 There's going to be nothing but what you are talking about until the election, because this is the whole game plan.
00:09:16.060 It is impossible for them to be honest about Kamala Harris's record and or just who she is and what she stands for and have a realistic shot at winning this election.
00:09:26.500 They know that. OK, they're not so delusional that they think that if it came out, what Kamala has stood for, not just, you know, it's not like we're dredging stuff up from what she wrote about in a college editorial.
00:09:40.220 This is when she was vice president.
00:09:42.360 I mean, as far as I'm concerned, as far as I can see, she was running for vice president in 2019.
00:09:46.680 I mean, these are all of her beliefs until five weeks ago.
00:09:51.620 I mean, this this whole thing is absurd.
00:09:53.360 But that's the thing about this one.
00:09:54.940 She's done nothing to reverse this, unlike all the other things.
00:09:58.060 And we can talk about whether those are real reversals, but she has not reversed this.
00:10:03.100 Yeah, well, I think that she won't reverse it, by the way, no matter how much pressure, no matter what comes out about it.
00:10:07.960 She'll do what she has done up to this point, which is bizarre.
00:10:11.580 But again, I understand the strategy. It's have surrogates tell media allies she's no longer on that position so that then people like me and you and anyone else out there who just wants to get to the truth is always hit with this.
00:10:26.980 Hey, here's Kamala's policy. Oh, that's not her policy anymore.
00:10:29.920 And you go, says who says some anonymous source from the campaign that told Politico or Axios or whatever.
00:10:36.300 Sure. It's absurd. But we have to remember that they used this same tactic in 2020 of hiding Biden.
00:10:46.380 So they were able to hide a dementia patient from the American people.
00:10:49.740 By the way, I know he got worse and I would I would admit that he got worse over the last four years.
00:10:54.120 But it was clear that he had lost many a step and wasn't where he needed to be even four years ago.
00:10:59.160 They hide it a dementia patient from the American people, made him president.
00:11:01.800 They're trying to hide a communist from the American people or a far left radical or however you want to describe it, a San Francisco Bay progressive.
00:11:10.240 They're trying to hide who she is until after the election.
00:11:13.300 Then it's, oh, fooled you. But I did. I told you there's a good news part of this.
00:11:17.080 The good news part of this is that the more that this has set in, I think, Megan, the more the reality comes to the forefront for anybody who is still thinking about this election,
00:11:27.280 meaning they're not in for one side or in for the other, this is it's just a sham.
00:11:32.500 But what the media did, what ABC did, I mean, you couldn't have scripted it any more clearly that there is a machine that's operating against Trump.
00:11:40.420 And I think the good news for Trump is he defies the laws of legacy media gravity.
00:11:46.760 They can throw everything they have at him. They can throw four criminal prosecutions at him, as they have.
00:11:51.140 They can break all kinds of norms and cross Rubicons and and throw institutions out the window in order to get Trump.
00:11:59.840 And somehow it doesn't stop him. And I actually think that they're getting increasingly desperate, which is why what you're talking about, again, the Kamala.
00:12:08.180 They're trying to back up Kamala, but it's so sloppy that it's actually just going to bring more attention to how dishonest the whole Kamala campaign is.
00:12:16.900 So that's how I see it playing out. The attempted fact check of Time magazine and the New Yorker of Trump's comment only to have it come boomerang back in their faces.
00:12:27.920 They can't believe even they can't believe she's this radical.
00:12:32.500 This K-File report didn't get enough attention.
00:12:35.600 It really has been almost ignored by most in the mainstream media, corporate media.
00:12:40.400 And it that's it doesn't stop there. Here's just a quick one.
00:12:43.680 This is, you know, a problem for people like me and you.
00:12:46.300 But here she is. He references in this piece of the fact that when she was at a town hall event in New Hampshire in April 2019,
00:12:54.140 she was asked by a voter if she supports adding a third gender to federal I.D. cards.
00:13:01.280 It's quick, but watch.
00:13:02.520 Right. So as president, I was wondering, would you recognize a third gender marker on federal I.D.s?
00:13:11.420 Sure.
00:13:14.340 Sure. She wants a third gender.
00:13:16.640 She wants us to pay for sex change operations for people who are here illegally and for felons who are in prison.
00:13:22.740 And then this thing goes on to talk about what she wants to do on the border.
00:13:26.860 You know, now she's John Wayne. She's down there. She's personally wants us to believe when she was A.G. and D.A.
00:13:32.340 She was down there making sure none of them there are immigrants are coming across that southern border.
00:13:37.220 It isn't true. This is OK.
00:13:41.580 What she said.
00:13:43.000 And immigration when asked about criminal justice reform, she wrote she would end immigration detention facilities,
00:13:49.860 along with private prisons related to immigrants.
00:13:52.760 Harris also said she supported decreasing funding for ICE dramatically,
00:13:58.240 that she wanted to end the use of ICE detainers,
00:14:02.800 meaning ICE requests to local and state law enforcement to hold an individual up to 48 hours beyond their release time
00:14:08.700 so ICE could take them into custody.
00:14:10.100 That's Sanctuary City.
00:14:11.060 What she's saying is she wants to make this a sanctuary country,
00:14:15.560 that ICE would no longer be able to issue detainers anywhere
00:14:20.680 because she would like to end the use of ICE detainers
00:14:24.640 so that all illegals who commit crime in this country,
00:14:27.480 if arrested on petty crime, would not be turned over to ICE and deported.
00:14:32.240 This is radical, radical stuff.
00:14:36.320 And then they point out that as San Francisco D.A.,
00:14:39.160 she supported immigrants' rights by defending the city's sanctuary status.
00:14:42.500 Yeah. Look, Megan, the one area where I had some frustration with with Trump and just in terms of getting across his message was was on the border
00:14:54.700 and really just on the invasion of this country by illegals who are overwhelmingly scamming the system.
00:15:03.240 They know what they're doing.
00:15:05.140 They're abusing the system and they're abusing it really in collusion with the Biden-Harris administration.
00:15:11.700 The numbers are absolutely staggering.
00:15:14.820 I don't think Trump actually got out during the debate.
00:15:17.860 And I think this is a good opportunity to remind everybody that when all said and done,
00:15:22.000 the number of people who are inadmissible and you get into all these legal technicalities, right,
00:15:26.800 there's a legal entry, but then they do secondary or defensive asylum requests.
00:15:31.920 So then they are technically in the country legally for a period pending their asylum hearing.
00:15:36.760 Oh, does anyone want to know how many people are pending their asylum hearing?
00:15:39.460 It's in the millions right now.
00:15:41.180 They're not going to be seeing asylum judges until 2045 or something.
00:15:44.960 It's a total disaster.
00:15:46.840 Ten plus million illegals coming into the country over the course of Biden's four years,
00:15:53.760 which, of course, Kamala Harris is the number two and was the border czar for.
00:15:58.320 And if anyone's wondering, what does enforcement look like under the Biden administration if I could
00:16:02.500 have just whispered this into Trump's ear?
00:16:04.320 And again, I think overall, actually, him dealing with the onslaught really sort of did what it
00:16:09.720 needed to do for him, which is just look at what a scam, what a sham this is.
00:16:13.500 But if I could have whispered something in his ear, it'd be not only 10 plus million illegals.
00:16:17.040 And that's an estimate.
00:16:17.920 I'll admit that.
00:16:18.560 That's actual illegal entries, which is over eight million in four years, plus all the
00:16:24.000 data ways.
00:16:24.720 2.34 under Trump, 2.34 under Trump's four years, 10.4 under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
00:16:29.900 And that was the beginning of the scam, by the way, of using a whole bunch of loopholes
00:16:34.360 that Trump then closed down and said, hold on, we can't allow this anymore.
00:16:38.660 Biden intentionally opened it back up.
00:16:41.080 But I think everybody needs to know that last year, 2023, for fiscal year 2023,
00:16:45.420 142,000 deportations total.
00:16:49.740 And that includes people in most cases.
00:16:52.940 That's not interior enforcement.
00:16:54.440 That's people who were caught near the border and were turned away, essentially.
00:16:58.660 So they've changed the way that they actually put numbers to this so that it can make it
00:17:03.460 seem like effectively everyone needs to understand if you're in this country and you are illegal,
00:17:08.560 the chance of you being deported unless you kill a few people.
00:17:12.240 And even then, by the way, if it's like a drunk driving accident, you know, you'll have
00:17:15.520 the ACLU saying, oh, human rights is effectively zero.
00:17:19.960 So while Biden and Kamala Harris are talking about how Trump killed some bill, which isn't
00:17:26.020 even true, the smart Republicans in the Senate knew that the whole thing was a trap and a
00:17:29.820 scam and wasn't going to do anything.
00:17:31.760 They have destroyed interior enforcement.
00:17:34.980 So the number that everyone's seeing that's really important, the 10 plus million, that's
00:17:39.080 catastrophic, of course, but the fact that you've also gotten rid of, right, it's like
00:17:44.720 it's getting bigger on one end and getting smaller on the other.
00:17:47.920 This is the worst border illegal immigration invasion we have ever seen as a country by
00:17:54.780 far.
00:17:55.740 Nothing else even comes close.
00:17:56.820 People talk about the 90s with a lot of Mexican nationals come.
00:17:59.980 Megan, they were coming back and forth and often being counted many, many times.
00:18:03.060 And they were working and then going back to Mexico and coming back in the country and
00:18:06.040 going back into Mexico, these are single adult males from 180 countries.
00:18:10.560 And we see what's happening in different cities across the country.
00:18:13.720 And what everyone needs to understand is that Kamala and Joe want this.
00:18:18.360 This was this is not a side effect of their policies.
00:18:21.900 This is the policy.
00:18:23.900 They have this CPB one app that lets you, you know, it's like an app now that in a whole
00:18:29.420 bunch of different countries, Nicaragua, Haiti, Venezuela, you can set up your appointment.
00:18:33.520 And the Biden administration has been flying people into the country under this, under
00:18:36.760 reunification, hundreds of thousands.
00:18:39.220 And then they give them temporary protected status.
00:18:41.460 They're never.
00:18:42.660 And when I say this, people yell at me.
00:18:44.000 They say, well, Trump will kick them out.
00:18:45.500 If Democrats have their way, they're never going to leave.
00:18:49.260 What happens with all these people?
00:18:50.940 We don't know anything about them.
00:18:52.360 There are a number of them.
00:18:54.320 I can't give you a percentage that are serious criminals.
00:18:56.680 Now we have to handle that.
00:18:58.240 They can't compete in the economy.
00:18:59.780 Most of them don't even have an eighth grade education in any language.
00:19:02.420 Nevermind being able to speak English.
00:19:04.160 What are we going to do?
00:19:05.360 It is a disaster.
00:19:06.700 And I sit here and I look at what the media is trying to say about Kamala and Joe.
00:19:11.180 They want to secure the border.
00:19:12.380 What you said, Kamala is going to go down the border, be serious about this.
00:19:15.360 It's like she's the greatest arsonist in history posing as a firefighter.
00:19:21.820 That's so well said.
00:19:23.120 You're exactly right.
00:19:24.200 I wanted to do this since the debate because I share your frustration about Trump on immigration
00:19:31.920 in particular.
00:19:32.720 And there's just so many opportunities for him to shove it down her throat.
00:19:36.100 And he tried to bring it up, but it just didn't do the most effective job of it.
00:19:41.480 But I have this little bit I'm going to show you with these soundbites.
00:19:44.780 It's just a run.
00:19:45.980 It's just this one Q&A.
00:19:47.380 It went for two minutes, but I sliced and diced it so you can see we can forensically
00:19:52.120 go through just how effed up the whole thing was.
00:19:54.820 This clip, I'm going to show these clips to show you how bad David Muir was, how frustrating
00:20:01.880 Kamala Harris was, and how frustrating Trump was, which is why we're all feeling so frustrated
00:20:06.460 about this debate, those of us who do not want to see this woman ascend to power in the
00:20:11.220 presidency.
00:20:11.580 So let's go to the issue of when they did ask Kamala Harris about what took you so long
00:20:18.660 to try to do anything about the border, right?
00:20:21.160 Six months before the election, Joe Biden puts a Band-Aid in place to try to look like, oh,
00:20:27.000 we've got control of the border.
00:20:28.080 We all knew why he was doing that.
00:20:29.740 He doesn't care about the border for all the reasons you just espoused.
00:20:32.360 So here's the question to Harris.
00:20:36.520 My question to you tonight is why did the administration wait until six months before the election
00:20:41.400 to act?
00:20:42.420 And would you have done anything differently from President Biden on this?
00:20:47.000 Okay, good question.
00:20:48.460 Why did it take so long?
00:20:49.820 And would you have done anything differently?
00:20:52.240 Here we go.
00:20:53.300 Fair question.
00:20:54.480 Let's hear what she has to say.
00:20:56.760 So I'm the only person on this stage who has prosecuted transnational criminal organizations
00:21:01.700 John Wayne for the trafficking of guns, drugs, and human beings.
00:21:05.860 And let me say that the United States Congress, including some of the most conservative members
00:21:11.440 of the United States Senate, came up with a border security bill, which I supported.
00:21:17.060 And I'm going to actually do something really unusual.
00:21:19.360 And I'm going to invite you to attend one of Donald Trump's rallies because it's a really
00:21:23.820 nothing to do with immigration.
00:21:25.320 You will see during the course of his rallies, he talks about fictional characters like Hannibal
00:21:30.020 Lecter.
00:21:30.900 He will talk about windmills cause cancer.
00:21:34.100 And what you will also notice is that people start leaving his rallies early out of exhaustion
00:21:39.420 and boredom.
00:21:40.160 So she pivots off of one of the most important issues in the country today.
00:21:45.680 Why didn't you do anything about this?
00:21:46.980 And would you have done anything differently than your boss to his rallies?
00:21:50.260 And we all knew what was going to happen because she was like something shiny over here.
00:21:54.540 And Trump, that is his trigger spot, his rallies, his crowd sizes, ran like Strudwick after
00:22:01.480 the liver snaps when I throw them on the side lawn, ran for it with gusto.
00:22:06.940 Here he is.
00:22:08.240 People don't leave my rallies.
00:22:09.540 We have the biggest rallies, the most incredible rallies in the history of politics.
00:22:13.740 That's because people want to take their country back.
00:22:16.600 Our country is being lost.
00:22:19.520 Okay, so then you're like, please pivot back to the issue.
00:22:22.760 Please, Trump, bring it back to immigration.
00:22:25.040 Like shove all those facts that you just said down her throat.
00:22:27.980 He could have brought up Lake and Riley.
00:22:29.680 He could have brought up the families he's been spending time with at the border whose daughters
00:22:32.720 have been killed at age 12 by these illegals crossing into America.
00:22:36.300 He went a different way, which it was an issue and it's fine to talk about.
00:22:40.840 It was not the best issue.
00:22:42.600 Here's where he went.
00:22:43.280 And look at what's happening to the towns all over the United States.
00:22:48.400 And a lot of towns don't want to talk.
00:22:49.760 It's not going to be Aurora or Springfield.
00:22:51.620 A lot of towns don't want to talk about it because they're so embarrassed by it.
00:22:55.440 In Springfield, they're eating the dogs, the people that came in.
00:23:00.020 They're eating the cats.
00:23:01.320 They're eating the pets of the people that live there.
00:23:07.260 And this is what's happening in our country.
00:23:10.880 Now David Muir comes in to save the day more.
00:23:13.800 Oh, here I am, objective fact checker.
00:23:16.200 I'm going to hammer Orange Man.
00:23:17.700 Watch.
00:23:18.780 I just want to clarify here.
00:23:19.900 You bring up Springfield, Ohio.
00:23:22.040 And ABC News did reach out to the city manager there.
00:23:24.520 He told us there had been no credible reports of specific claims of pets being harmed, injured, or abused by individuals within the immigrant community.
00:23:32.660 Well, I've seen people on television.
00:23:33.700 Let me just say here.
00:23:34.580 The people on television say my dog was taken and used for food.
00:23:38.960 So maybe he said that.
00:23:40.460 And maybe that's a good thing to say for a city manager.
00:23:42.880 I'm not taking this from television.
00:23:44.180 But the people on television say their dog was eaten by the people that went there.
00:23:49.260 Again, the Springfield city manager says there's no evidence of that.
00:23:51.880 We'll find out.
00:23:52.580 Now the moderator is arguing with Trump over a city manager in Springfield, Ohio, versus what Trump has seen on television.
00:24:01.060 By the way, that's why you should not fact check a thing that is in dispute and has not been settled, David Muir.
00:24:06.420 But things are spinning off the rails.
00:24:08.220 How far away are we right now from the Joe Biden immigration policies and whether she would have done anything differently?
00:24:15.000 So now he turns to Harris.
00:24:16.460 This is your opportunity, David Muir, to get this thing back on track and look at her and say,
00:24:20.420 The question, madam, was, would you have done anything differently than Joe Biden did?
00:24:26.220 He does turn to Kamala Harris.
00:24:28.000 And this is what happens.
00:24:29.900 I'll let you respond to the rest of what you've heard.
00:24:32.340 You talk about extreme.
00:24:35.460 That's not the fucking toss.
00:24:36.840 This is, I think, one of the reasons why, in this election, I actually have the endorsement of 200 Republicans who have formally worked with President Bush, Mitt Romney, and John McCain, including the endorsement of former Vice President Dick Cheney and Congress member Liz Cheney.
00:24:57.900 The toss to her is not, would you have anything to say?
00:25:03.200 I'll just follow up.
00:25:04.200 You know, would you like to respond?
00:25:05.580 It's, you didn't answer the question.
00:25:07.200 You talked about rallies.
00:25:08.400 And of course, what does she say?
00:25:09.940 Nothing about immigration.
00:25:11.460 All these Republicans love me.
00:25:13.280 He's unhinged.
00:25:14.560 This is why we felt sick when this thing was over.
00:25:17.460 Well, this also shows you, and I like that you broke it up in that way.
00:25:23.560 It's very clear that Kamala Harris memorized different little speeches and responses, and her whole game plan was get to speech A, get to speech B.
00:25:36.240 It had nothing to do, and avoid, of course, actual policy discussion, which is what happened there.
00:25:42.160 That was, you know, I'll be honest with you, Megan, like I'm having a little flashback trauma to watching that just because-
00:25:49.620 Me too, me too.
00:25:50.320 That was, if these are two boxers in a ring, that was Kamala Harris, unsteady on her legs, ready for the knockout blow, and Trump going off into the corner and doing a little dance and waving, you know, to people in the crowd.
00:26:05.680 That, for me, and it just makes me so mad because she knew exactly what she was doing, and it worked, okay?
00:26:13.920 You and I, it worked.
00:26:14.940 She was able to-
00:26:15.840 It worked.
00:26:16.480 Like a charm.
00:26:18.000 Worked like a charm, and Trump went right for it, but, you know, the other side of it, and I know that there's a lot of people who, like, they think everything Trump does is great.
00:26:26.380 I'm not one of those people.
00:26:27.500 I do like Trump a lot and support, you know, his presidency with all that I can.
00:26:31.960 And he's not a, he's a great presenter and entertainer.
00:26:36.640 He's not a skilled debater.
00:26:37.980 Those are different skill sets.
00:26:39.180 You and I know, like, there are people who, people say, oh, so-and-so is so good, so good on current events.
00:26:44.200 I'm like, they read off a piece of glass.
00:26:45.700 They don't know anything, right?
00:26:46.640 I mean, they're, even within media, people can have different areas of competency or lack thereof.
00:26:52.960 Same thing in politics.
00:26:53.980 But I do think that because of the, I don't know if persecution narrative is the right way to put it, but because of the sense that everything is always stacked against Trump by the establishment, this very much plays into that.
00:27:08.740 Trump has never had a great debate performance, you know, has never had a great debate performance.
00:27:13.360 I don't know.
00:27:13.640 I don't agree with that.
00:27:14.360 And yet has still won.
00:27:15.880 I don't agree with that.
00:27:16.560 He sliced and diced those Republicans in 2016.
00:27:19.300 Oh, I'm thinking about general election debates, but yeah, I mean, that's, he's very good and funny when he has, what was amazing about Trump in the general election, I'm sorry, in the primary against Republicans was how much he was able to command the stage, right?
00:27:33.940 Like, you've got eight other people there or whatever it was, and it was like Trump and really nobody else was there, and that's like a superpower, right?
00:27:41.240 I mean, really, most of the time you have all these politicians like, excuse me, like, you know, they look like the kid in the class who really wants to get in and answer all the questions.
00:27:48.200 And it's just not a, Trump just stands there and with limited time was always the center of attention, no matter where he was.
00:27:54.880 And he was actually center stage because he was first in the polls.
00:27:57.460 In general elections, I mean, I'd have to think back.
00:27:59.520 I don't think he did a great job against Hillary Clinton in the debate.
00:28:02.520 I think he had an amazing campaign and obviously won that.
00:28:05.180 I can't say that he did a great job against Joe Biden to memory.
00:28:08.520 I'd have to go back and look at it the first time around.
00:28:10.940 He obviously had a knockout blow against Biden this time around, but it wasn't that really just Joe Biden.
00:28:16.240 It wasn't really him.
00:28:16.900 It was Joe Biden.
00:28:17.740 It was good.
00:28:18.420 I mean, Trump, Trump didn't step on it, but this time around, I was expecting something better.
00:28:22.180 But I also think the debates, I agree with you.
00:28:24.100 Look, I think people understand how unfair this was.
00:28:26.580 I do think people understand how unfair this was.
00:28:28.300 And I don't think this, this debate is going to move the polls and we'll get to people who disagree with me.
00:28:33.380 We've got some of that sound queued up, but, but this Trump has been spending time with grieving families whose kids were killed by illegals.
00:28:45.160 He knows, he knows, he knows these facts.
00:28:47.920 It's just, he's driven by whatever he's seen on TV most recently.
00:28:51.120 But we have been covering, I mean, look at this sound, but he went down to the border and he met with moms who talked about the murder of their daughters.
00:29:02.640 Watch this.
00:29:03.120 My daughter was, she's 12.
00:29:06.680 She had dreams to be famous.
00:29:09.720 She wanted to be a famous actor.
00:29:11.540 June 17th was the day her life was taken.
00:29:13.900 She was, she was left with no clothing from the waist down, was thrown in a bayou, left, was strangled to death.
00:29:32.420 We believe, yes, she was assaulted.
00:29:34.720 They had no reason to do anything that they did to Jocelyn.
00:29:37.580 There was over 300 detention beds that they should have been at because they were detained and they were released when they shouldn't have been released.
00:29:48.080 And one had an ankle monitor, didn't stop anything.
00:29:51.880 So now I have to go through the rest of my life with my son, always asking for his sister.
00:30:01.680 Please take into consideration how important border control is because we're losing very innocent people.
00:30:10.880 To heinous crimes, please help him make a change.
00:30:16.200 This poor woman, her name is Alexis Nangare.
00:30:20.500 Her daughter was Jocelyn.
00:30:21.980 There was another mom down there, Patty Morin, talking about her daughter's murder.
00:30:25.760 And both of the suspects had illegally entered the United States this year.
00:30:32.520 They were released into the country.
00:30:35.820 They, one had claimed he feared for safety if he'd been sent back to Venezuela.
00:30:39.220 The other was fitted with an ankle monitor, but removed it after it was determined he had no known criminal history.
00:30:46.340 And they're murdering 12-year-old American girls.
00:30:50.820 This is not just about Trump.
00:30:52.840 Yes, that's what Trump should have said.
00:30:54.900 Those two girls, Lake and Riley.
00:30:57.160 For the listening audience, Trump was standing next to these mothers.
00:31:00.020 He took the time to go down there and meet with them and listen to them, unlike Kamala Harris.
00:31:05.340 But that's not where we went with the debate.
00:31:07.320 And because of ABC News, that's not where the debate wound up being steered when it got off course into GOP officials love me and rally sizes, which was all a Kamala Harris determinant.
00:31:19.280 Well, one of the most important things in the immigration debate that I think people should always have in mind, and I think Trump, he's having these events where he's allowing people to hear these stories, which are gut-wrenching, but the American people need to know,
00:31:34.260 is that the decision is being made in these sanctuary cities day in and day out to effectively get in the way of law enforcement.
00:31:46.520 I mean, they won't do this with anything else, by the way.
00:31:49.320 I worked at the NYPD Intelligence Division for about 18 months when I was a CIA officer, so it's a long story.
00:31:55.440 But anyway, I was there, and you had federal, local, all these different law enforcement agencies that were working together.
00:32:01.340 On immigration is where all of a sudden that suddenly breaks down.
00:32:03.820 It's only because of politics.
00:32:05.360 And there are these decisions made by really every large city in the country right now that they won't help with immigration and customs enforcement.
00:32:13.660 So what that means is that when you have somebody in the country who's an illegal, and they're arrested in many cases, and then ICE says, hey, they put in something called the detainer request.
00:32:24.600 They say, hey, can you hold on to that individual?
00:32:26.960 We're coming to get him in New York, in San Francisco, in Chicago, in L.A., good on the list.
00:32:32.780 They say, no, we will not help you, federal law enforcement.
00:32:36.880 We are specifically letting this person out so that you can't get them.
00:32:40.520 And sometimes those individuals, in some of the most high-profile cases recently, by the way, go on to murder, rape, do heinous things.
00:32:51.140 After they're in the country illegally, they broke an additional law, whatever it may have been, to be taken into custody.
00:32:57.620 But the people in charge who are Democrats think it is more important that we import the third world and pay for all their stuff than to protect the American people from exactly these kinds of situations.
00:33:13.400 I just think it's so important, Megan, because, you know, there's this idea like, oh, all these illegals come in.
00:33:18.000 How could we know?
00:33:18.900 No, no, they specifically decide that criminal illegal aliens, which I know is kind of saying the same thing twice, but I mean additional criminality to their legal status in the country.
00:33:30.420 They don't want to deport them either.
00:33:32.600 They don't want to deal with, you know, the ACLU and Amnesty International, all these groups that are going to say that's a human rights violation.
00:33:38.440 You mentioned that this guy said that this, you know, this one perpetrator said that he fears violence in his country.
00:33:45.420 I've been at the border. I've seen the wristbands that are just in massive piles on the ground that say that you've paid off the cartel different colors or whatever to make sure that, you know, they know what your status is.
00:33:56.560 That's how much of a business this is for the drug cartels, by the way, which means a tremendous amount of human trafficking, of sex trafficking, of minors.
00:34:04.480 I mean, horrible stuff going on at the border, making the cartels billions of dollars.
00:34:08.320 And they train people, they actually tell people that all you have to do is say that you have a credible fear in your home country, and you'll be able to get through this screening process at the border because we're a bunch of chumps.
00:34:24.680 They actually tell, sometimes they have little sheets of paper, Megan, that they're trained to read off of.
00:34:28.920 And the border patrol guy has to go, OK, credible fear of violence in your home country, 180 countries.
00:34:34.900 It is so much worse than than 90 something percent, I think, of the country honestly realizes.
00:34:41.020 Yes. And we're being scammed in ways that I mean, you know, I'll tell you, my relatives in New York City who live right in Manhattan, they see it and they understand it in a way that very few people do these days.
00:34:52.420 It is a mess. Well, that's why it was smart of Trump, though, maybe not our number one issue to raise.
00:35:00.340 I mean, I would have rather heard about the dead Americans, the dead children.
00:35:04.400 But it was smart of him to raise what's happening in Aurora, Colorado and in Springfield, Ohio, because these are two of the centers that have been overwhelmed in one with Venezuelan migrants in Colorado and one with Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio.
00:35:20.680 So overwhelmed these towns are with these migrants that have been shipped there by the Biden administration, the City Journal, which does a great they do great reporting in general.
00:35:31.240 But in a piece entitled Chaos in Aurora that came out the day of the debate, how the federal government subsidized the migrant madness in suburban Colorado does a great job of documenting what happened in Aurora with these Venezuelan migrants,
00:35:46.400 some of them members, some of them members of gangs who have taken over a series of apartment buildings there and unleashed terror, that some have been implicated in attempted homicides, shocking security footage showing heavily armed men forcibly entering one of the apartments.
00:36:03.220 Look at this.
00:36:03.700 And that this is all at the Biden administration's hand.
00:36:10.780 The story begins in 21 when the Biden administration signed the American Rescue Plan.
00:36:14.340 They allocated $3.8 billion of federal funds to Colorado.
00:36:16.900 The city of Denver declared itself welcoming to migrants and drew on the reservoir of money to launch an emergency migrant response resettlement program,
00:36:25.060 wanting to house and provide services to this massive flow of migrants Joe Biden had allowed.
00:36:30.300 Denver signed multi-million dollar contracts with two non-governmental organizations to provide housing and services and so on.
00:36:37.540 They created a magnet is what they did, Buck.
00:36:39.960 And now the citizens of Aurora, Colorado are overrun.
00:36:44.080 And what's happening in Springfield, Ohio is equally disturbing.
00:36:50.340 We've now spent three days arguing about whether cats are being killed.
00:36:53.900 There are testimonials that they are.
00:36:55.780 The city manager says it's not true.
00:36:57.840 I don't know what's real.
00:36:58.880 I know that poor city is overwhelmed.
00:37:01.340 And you want to know how I know?
00:37:02.560 Because we watched that entire city commissioner meeting, not just the most incendiary soundbites,
00:37:09.220 which we've shown the audience of the guy claiming that ducks are being beheaded and eaten from the local pond.
00:37:14.820 There's also a 911 call of people calling saying they're stealing geese and killing them.
00:37:19.160 There's also a Facebook post of somebody saying they skinned a cat and hung it up like a deer.
00:37:24.200 Unverified, but it's there.
00:37:25.300 But listen to this woman talking about what her life is like living in Springfield, Sop 9.
00:37:31.500 I was looking at the giant holes in some of our buildings.
00:37:35.820 I noticed all of the old familiar spots bearing new signs in an unfamiliar language.
00:37:41.260 I watched as groups of strangers walked around the city like lost tourists, and it was like a punch in the gut.
00:37:48.100 A terrible sadness came over me, and I began to cry.
00:37:51.080 I immediately started to think back to when I was little, walking from my grandma's house on South Fountain through downtown and all the way to Snyder Park,
00:38:00.400 going to Renn's to get new school clothes and shoes, the excitement of the mall for lunch at the Blue Fox, or even better to see Santa,
00:38:08.160 riding down High Street, admiring the beauty of those stately homes and their amazing architecture,
00:38:13.920 dropping pennies in the fountain and making wishes.
00:38:16.240 And now, all those warm memories are becoming fuel to the fire of anger inside of me.
00:38:22.460 I feel like we have been invaded by some sort of pest.
00:38:25.900 I'm angry that my friends and family are packing up and moving away.
00:38:29.800 I'm angry that foreigners are using up the resources that were set up for the Americans that reside here.
00:38:36.240 I'm angry that another country's flag was being flown in our city.
00:38:40.120 I'm angry when I see our businesses and recreational areas littered with garbage left by people that do not know or understand our laws and culture
00:38:49.340 and are making no attempt to learn about them.
00:38:52.420 And let me be clear, this is not about race.
00:38:55.880 This is about people being given the privilege of coming here from another country
00:38:59.980 and having no respect for our people, our land, or our life's work.
00:39:04.740 People living their life here the way they did in Haiti.
00:39:08.180 Angry, stealing, polluting, living in filth, and acting like animals.
00:39:13.000 These are not civilized people.
00:39:15.460 Opening containers in our grocery stores, helping themselves to what's inside,
00:39:19.400 and throwing the rest onto the shelves and floors.
00:39:22.080 Pulling off of the highway to publicly clean and gut the roadkill lying there in front of anyone that passes by.
00:39:28.740 Stealing animals from farmers and leaving their severed heads at the site of an old school where children play.
00:39:33.860 They're leaving themselves in public.
00:39:36.660 Making some barbaric stew out of the birds that live in our park.
00:39:41.020 This is insanity, and it has to stop.
00:39:45.820 Coming soon to a city near you, thanks to Biden, Harris, Buck.
00:39:50.560 You know, I spent, in my earlier years, Megan, in the CIA,
00:39:55.420 I spent a number of, I spent a number of years of my early life in some very nasty third world places
00:40:02.420 where there's tremendous poverty, tremendous corruption, and the anarchy of a failed state all around you.
00:40:10.060 One of the ways you can actually always tell about how sophisticated or not a country may be
00:40:16.480 is by how it deals with its trash.
00:40:18.740 And, for example, anytime someone brings up that recent migrants have a different handling of refuse,
00:40:25.760 culturally speaking, you're told, oh, that's so horrible.
00:40:28.220 It actually is true all over the world.
00:40:30.160 This is a reality that countries that are orderly and have rule of law
00:40:34.100 tend to also be better about dealing with their refuse.
00:40:36.240 So all these things that she's saying that she's dealing with,
00:40:39.480 not surprising to anyone who's been to countries that are as poor as Haiti, as I have,
00:40:45.660 and dealing with these things, it always falls on the working class.
00:40:50.180 It falls on people who just bought their first home, you know, who have been saving up for years.
00:40:54.860 And now in their neighborhood, in their schools, in their local hospital, it's deal with it.
00:41:00.740 If you have a problem with it, you're a bad person.
00:41:02.820 Why don't you want all these migrants here?
00:41:04.200 I think of the case of New York City, for example, and the way that there are so many migrants now.
00:41:10.580 First of all, hotels, you want to go to New York for the holidays, guess what?
00:41:13.260 You're going to be paying, I think, 20 or 30 percent more than you ever have before in the city of New York.
00:41:18.060 Part of that, I know, is also the Airbnb ban.
00:41:20.220 But it's a big percentage of the hotel rooms are being given to these migrants.
00:41:26.220 People who understand the history of Ellis Island in reality, not just the poem on the Statue of Liberty,
00:41:31.380 will tell you that about a third of Italian migrants during some of the great waves of migration to the United States went back home.
00:41:39.620 Why did they go back home?
00:41:41.160 They went back home because there was no welfare state here.
00:41:44.300 And if you couldn't make it, it just was too hard.
00:41:47.460 And they wanted to go back to the home country.
00:41:49.140 I think very few people know this.
00:41:50.600 I think more people should know this.
00:41:52.420 I think a lot of people should go check out what it was like for Irish and Jewish and Italian and other immigrants to this country in the early 20th century,
00:42:01.280 living in the tenements of the Lower East Side.
00:42:02.960 You know, there's the Tenement Museum.
00:42:04.380 Yeah.
00:42:04.500 They were just putting their children.
00:42:06.920 I'm sorry.
00:42:08.180 Those are my people.
00:42:09.140 That was our family.
00:42:09.880 I come from Irish potato famine people.
00:42:13.460 There were, yeah, no, they had, they would have outbreaks of cholera and typhus and they'd be stacking their children dead out front like firewood and nobody cared.
00:42:22.160 It was a different time.
00:42:23.700 People who talk about this like, oh, give me your tired, you're poor, you're weak, you're hungry.
00:42:27.120 They're showing up now with food cards and free housing and free medical care.
00:42:33.160 If this is the new policy, we need to take in a billion poor people who don't give a crap about America, but they want free stuff.
00:42:43.760 We can't actually do that.
00:42:45.220 They sent Trump's accountant.
00:42:46.920 I know this seems like a huge digression, but I don't think it is at all.
00:42:49.660 They sent Trump's accountant to prison in Rikers Island for not putting company use of a car on his taxes.
00:42:57.820 But then they're giving people who are not even supposed to be in the country free hotel rooms with your tax dollars.
00:43:02.780 I mean, think about the country we live in.
00:43:04.940 Think about the two tier justice system that exists.
00:43:07.520 This whole thing is absolutely insane.
00:43:09.920 And I mean, if I were Trump, this affects the economy.
00:43:12.840 This affects our, our, our cultural and political continuity as a nation.
00:43:18.620 I think there's the biggest issue that exists right now.
00:43:21.200 And Kamala and Joe Biden are the worst ever on this.
00:43:25.380 It's not even close.
00:43:26.660 Obama was the quarter in chief badass compared to them.
00:43:31.080 Yep.
00:43:31.360 I agree.
00:43:31.820 And it's not, you know, yes, we have these reports about what's being done to animals, but you don't have to go that far.
00:43:37.560 Listen to what that woman said.
00:43:39.080 Listen to, there was a young boy who was killed after one of these migrants hit a school bus.
00:43:44.600 20 children were injured and one boy killed.
00:43:47.260 And he was not the only one.
00:43:49.340 Take a listen to this soundbite again from the city council meeting on Tuesday.
00:43:54.460 It's not 12.
00:43:54.900 My mother-in-law, Kathy, on December 1st, I received a phone call that changed my life forever.
00:44:02.240 She was collecting her trash can from her driveway when a car struck and killed her instantly.
00:44:07.860 A task she had done over 2,000 times spanning four decades in Springfield.
00:44:14.100 That morning, though, a Haitian immigrant was allegedly driving recklessly when he struck and killed her.
00:44:21.280 I say allegedly because to this day there's been no punishment, not even for the expired tags on the vehicle he was driving.
00:44:28.820 Months before she was killed, I began noticing the reckless driving and complete disregard for our driving laws by some members of the Haitian community.
00:44:37.360 It made me angry.
00:44:39.160 But now my anger has turned to fear for the safety of my family and the citizens of Springfield.
00:44:44.800 Okay, but let me just add to this, Buck, because this is how the media is coming after it.
00:44:49.580 Do you see this story everywhere?
00:44:51.260 Do you see what's actually happening in Springfield, Ohio, or Aurora, Colorado, all over the news?
00:44:56.480 No, this is why Trump and others have raised it.
00:44:59.460 For whatever reason, this pet narrative has gotten more attention.
00:45:03.060 And this is what NBC, Yamiche Alcinaur, says to J.D. Vance when she gets access to him.
00:45:10.120 This is how she decides to hammer him on this whole issue.
00:45:13.260 Watch this in Sot 16.
00:45:15.200 Competence of Kamala Harris.
00:45:16.580 Senator Vance, what do you say to Haitian Americans and Haitian immigrants who say spreading false claims about them put their lives at risk?
00:45:23.540 Well, I don't think that no one has spread false claims.
00:45:29.400 What they've said is that a small migrant community, 20,000, so it's big for the city of Springfield, but it's small compared to all Haitians in the United States of America, that that small migrant community has caused a lot of problems.
00:45:41.180 It's led to higher rates of communicable diseases.
00:45:43.660 That's a verifiable fact.
00:45:45.040 It's led to animals disappearing.
00:45:47.140 Many of my constituents have said that has been happening.
00:45:49.840 It's led to higher home prices.
00:45:51.520 That is a verifiable fact.
00:45:52.960 So this influx has led to a lot of poverty in Springfield.
00:45:57.380 But you said that immigrants have eaten animals, and city officials have said that that's not true.
00:46:03.380 City officials have said that's not true.
00:46:06.640 That's not actually accurate.
00:46:08.240 What they've said is that there's no evidence that immigrants are eating animals.
00:46:12.560 And you have been saying, and Donald Trump just said on stage, that they are eating animals.
00:46:16.560 Would you like me to answer the question?
00:46:17.900 Yes, I'm asking you.
00:46:18.700 Keep interrupting me.
00:46:19.100 I'm asking you, go ahead.
00:46:21.560 Can you ask the question and then let me answer it?
00:46:23.520 Yes, please.
00:46:24.020 The city manager said there's no verifiable evidence.
00:46:26.520 A lot of residents on the ground have said that there is.
00:46:29.480 That just means the city manager, I think, isn't fully in touch with what's going on in
00:46:32.840 the ground there.
00:46:33.480 I've heard from many of my own constituents who have seen these things with their own eyes,
00:46:37.580 who have seen these abductions with their own eyes, who have seen geese being taken
00:46:41.700 out of local parks and slaughtered in front of their eyes.
00:46:43.940 What do I think is a bigger problem, insulting 20,000 people or the fact that my constituents
00:46:49.300 can't live a good life because Kamala Harris opened the border?
00:46:54.420 Perfectly done.
00:46:55.960 Yeah, I just I just want to note that there were some people on the right who were all
00:46:59.780 J.D. Vance.
00:47:00.460 They were getting all worried about him.
00:47:02.320 J.D. Vance is a super high wattage guy who I think represents the American dream, the
00:47:06.920 American dream for all, you know, for all races, for both genders, you know, which is
00:47:11.980 you don't have to come from a lot and you can make a tremendous amount of yourself.
00:47:15.100 And I think that that doesn't get nearly enough attention these days because it's all, you
00:47:19.900 know, you didn't build that and it's the state that has to help you and everything is
00:47:23.480 collectivist.
00:47:24.160 It's garbage.
00:47:24.620 I know that's a little bit of a digression, but I just think J.D.
00:47:27.180 got up from our side, got a lot of people all of a sudden questioning like J.D.
00:47:30.620 is is incredibly sharp.
00:47:32.260 He's not by the way, he's not even like a friend of mine or anything.
00:47:34.140 I'm just objectively looking at, I think, his skill set.
00:47:38.080 That never happened on this show.
00:47:40.360 What?
00:47:40.640 We, we've always been very supportive of the, the pick.
00:47:45.720 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:47:46.920 No, absolutely.
00:47:47.600 Defended his, his morality, his, his, just his honor, his honor.
00:47:52.700 I mean, I got to know him a bit back when I interviewed him five years ago and six years
00:47:56.380 ago now, the, the, he's an impressive, he's an impressive guy.
00:47:59.940 Republican panty grabbing over J.D.
00:48:02.280 Vance and him not being like a Nikki Haley was ridiculous at the time.
00:48:06.240 He's proven himself to be a brilliant pick by Trump.
00:48:09.980 And, you know, let's be honest, if J.D.
00:48:12.360 Vance had been under the same kind of fire Trump was under the other night, it probably
00:48:16.700 would have been handled much differently, which is why some of us are looking forward to this
00:48:19.920 VP debate.
00:48:20.640 Yeah, well, I think, I think J.D. Vance is going to wipe the floor with Tim Walls to
00:48:25.640 anybody who, look, Walls knows he's sort of his, his like, I'm just a Midwestern dad.
00:48:30.560 I got so much flannel.
00:48:31.920 I mean, we all know where he's going to go with some of this stuff.
00:48:35.620 Fortunately, you know, it's just, yeah, he's such a clown.
00:48:39.860 But he's also weird.
00:48:41.580 I think Tucker's been saying that a lot.
00:48:43.180 And I agree with Tucker.
00:48:44.200 There's something off about Tim Walls.
00:48:45.580 Tucker says he's a creeper.
00:48:46.880 He goes, mark my words, that guy's a creeper.
00:48:49.620 I mean, I don't, I don't think Tucker's wrong on that.
00:48:52.040 So, but, but back to the substance of what J.D.
00:48:55.340 was saying here and what he's saying about the sort of Haitian migrant community in this
00:48:59.320 area, find me any town of 40,000 people anywhere in the world and dump 20,000 foreigners on
00:49:09.460 it who overwhelmingly don't speak the language, certainly don't share the culture and are
00:49:15.000 suddenly just there, essentially.
00:49:18.440 Of course, supply and demand is still a real thing.
00:49:22.140 Housing costs are going to go up.
00:49:24.920 Emergency room access is going to go down.
00:49:26.420 My friends, New York City did a study, I think it was about six months ago, 30% of
00:49:32.220 ER visits in New York with 8.6 million residents, 30% of them were illegals, were the migrants.
00:49:41.640 You know what that means?
00:49:42.340 You go in there and you've actually like dislocated your shoulder in a fall.
00:49:45.420 It's, well, you know, we've got these guys who've come in and, you know, they, they have
00:49:48.880 to get first line services here.
00:49:50.680 And, and the places that get hurt the most, Megan, are the places that don't even have the
00:49:54.680 resources.
00:49:55.120 New York is spending billions of dollars.
00:49:57.040 Springfield, Ohio doesn't have it in the budget to handle this, but this is what the Democrats
00:50:01.120 are doing all over the country.
00:50:02.980 We have a wide open border.
00:50:04.300 Our country is falling apart in slow motion because of this.
00:50:09.140 Anybody who understands the issue can see it.
00:50:12.260 And I just hope that Trump, I don't know if there's going to be another debate, but I hope
00:50:15.920 that the campaign makes this very clear to everybody because single biggest thing they're going to
00:50:21.320 try to do is find some way to do, people keep saying, oh, they can't get amnesty through
00:50:25.940 in Congress.
00:50:26.580 Megan, there are a million little tricks they'll pull where the amnesty isn't even going to
00:50:31.020 matter because they'll have been here for 10 years.
00:50:33.160 Amnesty right now.
00:50:34.540 This is, we have a de facto amnesty at the moment.
00:50:36.580 It is an amnesty.
00:50:37.240 Fuck, I got to run.
00:50:38.680 I thank you for coming on.
00:50:39.920 It's great to see you, my friend.
00:50:40.600 It's good to see you.
00:50:41.260 Thanks.
00:50:41.660 Thanks, Megan.
00:50:42.860 Speaking of Tucker, you guys want to tell you tonight, tonight I'll be headed to Kansas
00:50:46.320 City, Missouri to appear with Tucker on, on the road.
00:50:49.780 He's been doing this sort of road show thing and I'm really looking forward to it.
00:50:53.600 If you, I think there are a couple of tickets left.
00:50:55.260 We, last week checked, it was like 95% sold out.
00:50:58.160 So that was a couple of days ago, but check it out.
00:50:59.880 It's tuckercarlson.com slash events in Kansas City.
00:51:04.320 Can't wait to see you this evening.

00:51:09.580 in an instant or jeopardized.
00:51:11.960 And that is why I want to tell you about my Patriot Supply and their four week emergency
00:51:16.820 food kit.

00:51:32.420 The food lasts up to 25 years, ready whenever disaster strikes.

00:52:05.860 Joining me now, Steve Dace, host of the Steve Dace Show.
00:52:09.620 Steve, great to see you again.
00:52:11.300 So continuing a discussion that we just started with Buck Sexton, we were talking about what's
00:52:15.760 actually happening in Springfield, Ohio, and in Aurora, Colorado, as the media just freaks
00:52:20.760 out over just what kind of animals are being killed, if any, and in what context, and completely
00:52:26.440 ignoring the actual human toll of what's going on in those cities.
00:52:30.440 Played a little bit from that town hall or city council meeting with Buck.
00:52:35.100 I want to get a little bit more on the record because it's actually deeply alarming.
00:52:39.060 Let's take a listen to Sot 10.
00:52:42.680 Mr. Heck, I sent you video of the homeless people living in the back of Lincoln School.
00:52:48.800 I have the pictures here today.
00:52:51.720 They're living in the back of Lincoln School.
00:52:53.860 I even showed you video of them.
00:52:56.100 You could see the monkey bars.
00:52:57.980 Nothing has to be done.
00:52:59.140 Code enforcement won't come out.
00:53:00.560 The police won't come out.
00:53:01.820 Come to the real life.
00:53:02.860 Go to Walmart and watch those Haitians open up jars of the tomato paste, pizza sauce, dip
00:53:09.940 their fingers in it and eat it.
00:53:11.280 Go to Kroger's.
00:53:11.960 You know how Kroger's has a little fruit up front for like five bucks?
00:53:15.460 They pick it up and start eating it, then discard the thing.
00:53:19.040 I've seen them do it.
00:53:20.460 So I'm not here saying I know they're doing it.
00:53:22.780 I seen it.
00:53:24.000 The city is going to shit.
00:53:27.140 And you guys thinking where we're doing good.
00:53:29.700 But my car insurance goes up.
00:53:31.380 So I called Nationwide's, which is my car insurance and my homeowner's insurance.
00:53:35.600 You know what they said?
00:53:36.920 Because the accident rate in Springfield has tripled.
00:53:40.240 I don't see any squatters, tent cities or anything here, but we got them in our neighborhoods.
00:53:46.060 Shouldn't we share?
00:53:48.940 Are we all not in this together?
00:53:51.360 Are we all not in this together?
00:53:53.120 I've heard people express concerns about personal safety, women who are afraid to walk
00:53:56.980 in stores, women stalked out into parking lots with their children.
00:54:01.200 But not once have I heard people complain about race.
00:54:05.040 And I wish you guys would stop pushing this through the filter of identity politics because
00:54:10.260 it's allowing you to ignore our real concern.
00:54:12.940 And that's what you've been doing.
00:54:13.660 You've been ignoring us.
00:54:14.640 Very powerful.
00:54:17.360 Your thoughts on it, Steve?
00:54:18.860 Well, number one, if they saw all of our cat memes on X, Megan, that means they saw all
00:54:24.660 of the videos like the ones you just played that accounts like yours and mine have and
00:54:29.100 shows like yours and mine have been sharing with our audiences for the last few days.
00:54:32.720 And so that's one of the beauties of social media, particularly X, since Elon took over
00:54:38.220 in 2022, is everyone has no excuse.
00:54:42.800 The idea that you do not know, the idea that you just didn't hear about this or you didn't
00:54:47.080 see this stuff, cognitive dissonance is no longer permitted.
00:54:50.820 Everything now is into the information gene pool.
00:54:53.920 Everybody sees everything, right?
00:54:55.600 So I think that's a point we need to stress.
00:54:57.940 If they saw our cat memes, which were wonderful, by the way, but if they saw our cat memes,
00:55:02.280 then they saw these kinds of testimonies that we shared as well.
00:55:06.720 And so it's very simple.
00:55:08.040 Why don't they just go there, find these people, interview them, and see if there's any factual
00:55:13.500 basis to their claims?
00:55:15.040 And then number two, I've done mission work in Haiti extensively and have seen most of
00:55:21.280 that country.
00:55:22.420 And I got to tell you, what's being reported on the ground by people like what you just
00:55:27.220 played in Springfield is exactly what I saw on the ground in Haiti.
00:55:30.360 It's a decimated country.
00:55:32.440 It's a decimated culture.
00:55:34.420 And there were movies like Gangs of New York written about when my ancestors came over here
00:55:39.300 from Sicily and Italy and some of the things that they did to bring some of the old world
00:55:44.220 ways that destroyed their culture and tried bringing them over here as well.
00:55:47.520 But the difference was at that point in time in our history, the institutions pressured
00:55:52.160 you, incentivized you into assimilation, to leave that stuff behind and assimilate into what
00:55:58.020 it means to be uniquely American.
00:56:00.140 We don't have those kinds of things anymore.
00:56:02.100 And so you can see Haitian immigrants that have lived in Florida, for example, for many,
00:56:07.000 many years, where you have institutions down there, particularly under the current governor,
00:56:11.240 that incentivize, if not punitively punish you.
00:56:14.640 If you do not want to be a law-abiding citizen, if you don't want to set your craven desires
00:56:19.140 and some of your base instincts that destroyed your previous culture, you don't want to set
00:56:23.720 those aside.
00:56:24.420 You won't get away with that in places like Florida.
00:56:26.680 And you've seen now onto a second generation of Haitian immigrants, they have assimilated
00:56:31.380 very well and they're productive members of the culture.
00:56:33.860 The problem we have under Kamala Harris as boarders are and Joe Biden as president, I guess,
00:56:39.740 is that all the institutions actually are weaponized against those that want to make people assimilate,
00:56:46.580 that want people to incentivize people to assimilate.
00:56:49.260 You are instead encouraged to bring your basic instincts and craven natures that destroyed
00:56:53.940 your previous culture and bring them here and let the freak flag fly.
00:56:57.560 And if anyone, including the taxpaying citizens, dare to stand up and say, hey, I'm going to call
00:57:02.300 BS on that.
00:57:03.040 That's not how we do things.
00:57:04.100 We have a social compact in this community.
00:57:06.160 We don't just openly pillage and plunder one another.
00:57:08.520 We don't just commit acts of violence against animals, live bait out in the streets, like
00:57:15.660 a third world country.
00:57:16.880 You're the racist.
00:57:18.020 You're the problem.
00:57:19.180 And herein lies the problem, Megan.
00:57:21.320 We can't share a country with people who have completely decimated our social impact or compact
00:57:27.760 and then try to punish us when we want to reinforce it.
00:57:30.600 We don't want to.
00:57:31.680 We don't want to.
00:57:33.100 Those people are being very honest about the same feelings we would all have if this happened
00:57:38.380 to our community.
00:57:39.420 But unlike what happened with Haitian migrants in the past, this is this is all it's been
00:57:43.680 dumped on them.
00:57:44.600 It's been dumped on them by the administration on one fell swoop.
00:57:49.380 Right.
00:57:49.620 It's not like a natural migration situation.
00:57:52.160 It's been, I guess, just Springfield, Ohio, was one of the towns chosen by Biden Harris.
00:57:57.520 And now they're dealing with the real life effects of this.
00:58:00.260 I'll give you another soundbite.
00:58:01.340 Uh, this one is sought 11.
00:58:03.220 Listen to this poor lady.
00:58:05.080 I am a disabled elderly woman that has such high anxiety leaving my house that I rarely
00:58:15.860 do.
00:58:16.960 And when I do, I'm armed and I have my 200 or my 120 pound pit bull with me.
00:58:22.940 I have been, I've been followed.
00:58:28.080 I've been groped.
00:58:30.060 I'm 58 years old.
00:58:34.540 I've been called racist because I'm white.
00:58:38.260 I'm scared.
00:58:40.300 I'm scared for the women here.
00:58:43.060 I'm scared for my granddaughters.
00:58:45.280 I cannot believe the media is getting away with this, just zeroing in entirely on the
00:58:53.720 dogs and the cats and the geese, which by the way, there's almost no doubt in my mind
00:58:59.780 that the thing with the geese is happening.
00:59:01.340 That's been proven.
00:59:02.300 There's a 911 call.
00:59:04.160 Uh, you could, I don't know about the cats.
00:59:05.580 I only saw the one post about that, but I also saw a pastor, uh, post saying that's true
00:59:10.900 too.
00:59:11.240 So it's unresolved at best, but their laser like focus on this at, at the expense of all
00:59:18.800 the human stories, they don't care.
00:59:20.620 They just want to fact check on Trump on that one thing and ignore this lady and the men
00:59:25.180 we just played in the butted soundbite before that and all of the carnage happening in that
00:59:29.420 city and beyond because she needs to win and she'll be even worse than Joe Biden on this
00:59:35.920 issue.
00:59:36.200 You know, I remember during COVID, uh, when, uh, Regeneron that was the, uh, the antibody
00:59:42.760 treatment, uh, was, uh, was really helping to save lives.
00:59:45.660 And just as the sunbelt was getting its seasonal wave of COVID suddenly, uh, the Biden administration
00:59:51.940 starts rationing, uh, that, uh, that treatment right when those states that just so happened
00:59:57.100 to be voting red right now, uh, right when those states need it the most, I wonder is
01:00:01.620 Springfield, Ohio being punished because this used to be a swing state.
01:00:05.340 I mean, Ohio used to be a state that was the bell cow determiner of presidential elections
01:00:10.460 going back to the mid 19th century.
01:00:12.500 And it's a state that in the Trump era has become reliably red.
01:00:16.100 Basically Trump did to Ohio in many respects, what Obama did to Virginia, took it as a swing
01:00:20.960 state, one that leaned one way.
01:00:22.520 Well, now Ohio is even deeper red than Virginia is blue.
01:00:25.560 And so I wonder why didn't they drop these people off at Martha's Vineyard?
01:00:29.040 Why didn't they drop them off in Manhattan?
01:00:30.640 Why didn't they drop them off in Hollywood?
01:00:32.600 Why weren't they dropped off in Portland?
01:00:34.040 Why were they dropped off in Springfield, Ohio?
01:00:36.520 Are you being punished for wrong?
01:00:37.880 Think are you being punished for wrong vote?
01:00:39.880 It's just funny how this always, always seems to work one way, right?
01:00:43.400 You don't, you don't ever have to see the folks on Rodeo drive or the upper East side
01:00:47.400 show up at the city council meetings, wondering why are there vagrants going and migrants going
01:00:52.020 through our stores and opening up dried goods and just eating them there and killing
01:00:55.300 geese and walking into my home.
01:00:56.860 Funny how that stuff never seems to happen there.
01:00:59.220 Weird.
01:00:59.420 On the subject of the 911 call, I will play this for you just so you can hear it in part.
01:01:05.300 So, so far, again, just to make clear, we've had at least the Facebook post saying they're
01:01:08.480 skinning cats and eating them.
01:01:10.060 We have had, now I'll read you the pastor's recitation claiming that is true, unverified,
01:01:14.860 but that is in writing from a pastor and his friend who relays what he said.
01:01:19.700 And the pastor himself is available on Twitter.
01:01:21.320 We're actually reaching out to him as others are, I'm sure, as well.
01:01:25.060 And we've got the, the video of the man at the city council meeting saying that they had
01:01:32.280 grabbed ducks and beheaded them.
01:01:34.460 We heard the other person at the city council meeting say the same thing, that they're killing
01:01:38.160 the ducks from the local pond.
01:01:39.560 And now here's a 911 call on the geese.
01:01:41.320 I'm sitting here, I'm riding on the trail, going to my orientation for my job today.
01:01:48.920 And I see a group of Haitian people, there was about four of them, they all had geese
01:01:57.340 in their hand.
01:01:59.300 There was two men, two women.
01:02:01.960 I couldn't tell the age and it's trying to make it to this orientation on time.
01:02:09.020 I'm time crunching here.
01:02:10.600 And I saw that.
01:02:11.700 I'm like, yeah, this has got to be reported.
01:02:13.700 How many geese did they have?
01:02:16.260 They each had one.
01:02:19.100 I mean, like who would do a fake 911 call over this?
01:02:21.940 I guess we're just supposed to dismiss it.
01:02:23.480 And last but not least, Steve, this is the guy, Michael Forster.
01:02:27.300 Foster is his name.
01:02:28.260 He's the pastor of East River Church and co-author of It's Good to Be a Man.
01:02:34.140 He lives with his wife and eight children on a small farm in Ohio, which is outside of
01:02:39.360 Springfield.
01:02:40.300 And he said this post is about his other pastor friend in Springfield.
01:02:45.700 He says, I know two local Catholic charities who have contracted with the federal government
01:02:51.080 to relocate, quote, refugees.
01:02:53.260 The results are predictable.
01:02:54.600 And I can confirm the stories are true.
01:02:55.960 Traffic accidents involving Haitian drivers have skyrocketed.
01:02:59.240 Property damage hit and runs more.
01:03:01.600 One kid was killed when a driver slammed into a school bus filled with kids.
01:03:04.460 Petty crime is out of control.
01:03:06.480 Stores are locking down merchandise due to rampant theft.
01:03:09.180 Driving without a license is ubiquitous.
01:03:10.980 The schools are chaotic.
01:03:12.600 The local district has to spend north of $300,000 on translators.
01:03:18.220 Some of these Haitian families have bank cards from somewhere with $20,000 earmarked for
01:03:22.820 buying homes.
01:03:23.460 The market was already tight, and now the prices are soaring.
01:03:26.560 Don't get me started on the hospitals.
01:03:28.500 And yes, the stories about Haitians killing and eating neighborhood cats and ducks from
01:03:34.240 the local parts is true.
01:03:36.720 He goes on from there.
01:03:38.200 Instead, what we got was David Muir overriding all claims to the contrary, putting all stock
01:03:45.680 in this city manager whose politics I haven't looked into, but I bet they're left-leaning
01:03:51.280 from him saying, you can't be racist.
01:03:54.400 And it's unfortunate that this has turned into a contest of hate.
01:03:58.440 In any event, that's what we have in our media.
01:04:01.020 Not interested.
01:04:01.940 And when the issue comes up, fact check erroneously.
01:04:05.100 Everything that that pastor described, I saw with my own eyes on the ground in Haiti.
01:04:10.960 Megan, I'm just going to tell you the most harrowing experience of my entire life was
01:04:16.260 driving through Haiti in our van.
01:04:19.140 I mean, between having to be in a bullet-protected vehicle, there were no traffic signals, no traffic
01:04:25.620 signs.
01:04:26.540 It was Lord of the Flies, Megan.
01:04:28.300 I mean, it was every homo sapien for themselves at full speed.
01:04:32.020 I finally had to just put my head down and not even look out the window.
01:04:35.580 I was going to have my very first ever PTSD on-time real board experience.
01:04:39.520 So everything and then the practices of the culture in terms of etiquette and food, everything
01:04:46.940 that he describes is what I saw on the ground in Haiti.
01:04:50.320 The problem also then becomes what I said earlier.
01:04:53.220 When your institutions no longer incentivize assimilation into the broader culture, but instead
01:04:59.940 are weaponized against you who want to defend your culture, who want to have assimilation
01:05:05.720 into your culture, and right away you're a racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, homophobic
01:05:10.360 bigot that just goes to show you right there the conditions are on the ground for this stuff
01:05:14.800 to be true.
01:05:15.640 It's what's in their culture.
01:05:17.040 I saw it with my own eyes.
01:05:18.440 On top of that, we've all lived through the last few years, and we know that our border's
01:05:22.840 been wide open.
01:05:23.700 Our institutions are weaponized against us.
01:05:25.920 Your former network has been running a graphic for two months about the jobs for immigrants
01:05:31.880 compared to native-born.
01:05:33.480 I mean, it's almost as if if I was trying to stir up, and this weird thing that Biden
01:05:37.900 has been saying whenever he's lucid about, you know, we've got bombers, you guys can't
01:05:41.840 shoot us.
01:05:42.400 It's kind of weird.
01:05:43.260 If I was trying to instigate and stir up the populace of my opposition to act out so that
01:05:49.420 maybe I could act against them, these are really the kinds of things that you'd be kind
01:05:53.220 of doing in order to stir those kinds of feelings of resentment and sentiment, a lack of agency,
01:05:58.240 a lack of representation.
01:05:59.700 Nobody listens to you.
01:06:00.740 This stuff is really sinister.
01:06:02.600 You know what I would do is I would move, but I have the resources to do that.
01:06:06.440 Most people cannot just up and move.
01:06:08.940 Particularly in this economy with these interest rates, this is the worst housing market since
01:06:13.040 at least 06.
01:06:13.960 And when you factor in the overall cost of living now and the overall taxation level now,
01:06:18.640 I would economically argue it's the worst housing market in American history right now.
01:06:23.100 It's not easy.
01:06:23.660 And by the way, if I moved, then they'd accuse me of white flight.
01:06:27.560 Correct.
01:06:28.200 Of course, you're trying to avoid the skin color of these people as opposed to the behavior.
01:06:32.840 On the subject of fact checks and these ABC debate moderators, because we're still on that
01:06:37.860 as well.
01:06:38.620 Um, the Seattle Times weighs in with this fact check of Trump.
01:06:45.220 Trump was out there the other night.
01:06:46.820 Do we have what he said teed up or I'll just, I'll just tell the audience what he said.
01:06:50.960 Um, okay.
01:06:52.320 He said, quote, we have it.
01:06:56.220 Stand by.
01:06:57.740 Okay.
01:06:58.180 Let's watch it.
01:06:58.660 South four.
01:06:59.680 One of the people that burned down Minneapolis is going to be prosecuted or in Seattle.
01:07:04.480 They went into Seattle.
01:07:05.720 They took over a big percentage of the city of Seattle.
01:07:08.100 When are those people going to be prosecuted?
01:07:11.900 They took over a big percentage of the city of Seattle.
01:07:16.980 The Seattle Times wanted to fact check that because Trump, I guess, according to them is
01:07:22.820 egregiously wrong.
01:07:24.420 Here's their fact check.
01:07:26.140 The zone's size fluctuated, but it essentially occupied about six, six city blocks.
01:07:31.440 They're mad that he said a big percentage when it was six city blocks.
01:07:37.540 Which is a lot.
01:07:40.020 But in the mind of the Seattle Times, they needed to fact check erroneous Trump again because
01:07:46.040 he said large percentage.
01:07:47.820 Never mind the people who were killed, who were robbed, who were beaten, the lawlessness.
01:07:54.340 Once again, right?
01:07:55.520 A complete not seeing the forest for the trees here.
01:07:58.700 However, it's all about is six city blocks a big percentage?
01:08:05.120 Is it fair to say that cats are being eaten when really it might just be geese and ducks
01:08:11.520 and the city manager says it's not totally verifiable?
01:08:15.400 This is the gaslighting that we're being put through, Steve.
01:08:20.180 It's 100% gaslighting.
01:08:22.500 And you saw that when Kamala repeated the lie about Charlottesville and even Snopes and
01:08:29.680 PolitiFact, who are basically captured institutions themselves, even they couldn't hold that back
01:08:34.380 any longer and declared those things to be lies.
01:08:36.920 And there was no fact check about that whatsoever.
01:08:39.020 Not Daniel Dale over at CNN.
01:08:42.180 He said she only lied one time.
01:08:44.780 And we believe that was about fracking, in his view.
01:08:47.180 We'll get to fracking.
01:08:48.440 But no, he didn't see any of those as lies.
01:08:51.180 I think, first of all, we should congratulate David Moore.
01:08:54.340 He has he I mean, it was a splendid audition to be a potential press secretary for President
01:08:59.780 Kamala.
01:09:00.400 I mean, he nailed that, stuck the landing.
01:09:03.100 OK, so congrats on his potential future employment that hopefully will deny him on November the 5th.
01:09:07.760 But this just goes to show I've used a term a few times here with your audience, social
01:09:12.140 compact.
01:09:12.720 I think we should unpack that a little bit.
01:09:14.760 And basically, social compact, every all human relationships have forms of social compact.
01:09:19.380 And it's that which intrinsically binds us together.
01:09:22.080 And then we will itemize it, we'll quantify it in a marriage ceremony, in a constitution,
01:09:27.000 in a declaration of independence, in a city charter, in a corporate charter, in a corporate
01:09:31.620 bylaw.
01:09:32.280 And those are the things that intrinsically bind us before we quantify them, that this
01:09:37.640 is how we are going to be in agreement in relationship, in business and in marriage or in communion
01:09:43.320 or community with one another.
01:09:44.980 And what you're seeing right now on the American left is they are taking they've already shredded
01:09:49.280 the constitution.
01:09:50.060 And they are now taking the last thing that creates e pluribus unum in this culture.
01:09:54.780 And that's the social compact.
01:09:56.600 And they are violating it.
01:09:57.960 The terms of the agreement.
01:09:58.980 These are the kinds of things, if you've ever been a child of a divorce or watched a family
01:10:03.620 member go through a divorce, when the relationship deteriorates to the point now that you will
01:10:08.380 say the things out loud to each other that when you wanted the relationship to continue,
01:10:11.900 you would never dare say.
01:10:13.600 That's where we are now.
01:10:14.700 When you will act against the other party in ways when you wanted the relationship and
01:10:18.660 the arrangement to continue, you would have never dared done.
01:10:21.020 Those are the things that you end up doing when you want it to end.
01:10:24.180 Those are the things the American left is now doing to us.
01:10:26.980 So well said the the frustration of like the the number of misleading statements that were
01:10:35.100 made during the debate that have been made since the debate as the gaslighting continues
01:10:38.960 is rising.
01:10:40.320 It rises day to day.
01:10:42.480 CNN, you know, I'm having whiplash because they've got Andrew Kaczynski of the K file who
01:10:47.740 did go pull to his credit the ACLU application or questionnaire that she filled out.
01:10:53.900 And it's just absolutely devastating what's in there.
01:10:55.980 I talked earlier about the trans gender surgeries for prisoners, for illegals on the taxpayer
01:11:01.280 dime that she supports, the open borders and the defunding ICE and allowing the entire
01:11:07.100 country to become a sanctuary country where we don't.
01:11:10.280 I hate to interrupt.
01:11:11.020 Can I ask you a question about that, Megan, for just a second?
01:11:13.740 Do you mind?
01:11:14.080 I want to ask you something because you have been you've been where I have not been.
01:11:18.420 Most people in our industry, particularly on the right, have not been.
01:11:20.760 And most people in your audience have not been.
01:11:23.220 You have been at the upper echelons of corporate media.
01:11:25.900 And we were completely mystified on my show this week that Dana Burnett on CNN, normally
01:11:31.000 when they do what Rush used to call accidental, Aaron Burnett, I'm sorry, that when they do
01:11:34.960 what Rush used to call accidental journalism, it's what you saw when they tried to get rid
01:11:38.760 of Biden.
01:11:39.480 They knew he couldn't win.
01:11:40.760 And so it was to further their narrative.
01:11:42.380 And that's why they were doing journalism was for their narrative.
01:11:44.600 But on our show, we were mystified when Aaron Burnett decided to tell CNN's audience that
01:11:49.800 Kamala is really a communist and unearthed these kinds of things.
01:11:52.880 We could not figure out for the life of us why they chose to do this.
01:11:55.880 So I would like to know what you think.
01:11:57.060 You've been there.
01:11:58.160 Well, so here's what's so interesting.
01:12:00.700 So CNN has been trying to be more middle of the road to win back some of their centrist
01:12:05.640 and right leaning viewers since they left entirely during the Trump years under Jeff Zucker.
01:12:10.900 And so there's still honest reporters at CNN.
01:12:15.560 And sometimes you see them.
01:12:16.940 You know, I believe that Harry Enten is somebody who is trustworthy.
01:12:20.500 There's a guy, his name escapes me right now, who does legal analysis, who I think is pretty
01:12:25.000 down the middle.
01:12:26.460 He's not bad.
01:12:28.020 You've got this Kaczynski who does reports that Ellie Honig, that's who it is.
01:12:33.540 You've got this guy Kaczynski who does these, you know, larger exposés and has proven that
01:12:39.020 even if it's a Democrat, he'll expose them.
01:12:41.980 But then you've got the talent, right, in the anchor desk positions, none of whom is
01:12:47.280 open-minded to the right.
01:12:48.740 I mean, truly, like the people who control and are in the anchor positions at CNN are
01:12:53.200 not open-minded to Trump in any way, shape or form.
01:12:57.360 So Kaczynski's done this big report and they've got to air it somewhere.
01:13:00.660 So Erin Burnett has him on.
01:13:01.820 OK, fine.
01:13:02.280 What did you find?
01:13:02.880 But she has no idea how far left Kamala Harris.
01:13:07.700 To her, this is downright shock.
01:13:09.340 And to all of us, we're like, yes, we understand she's an insane left-wing loon.
01:13:13.400 But here's what happened when he went on her show.
01:13:16.460 She said she supported taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained migrants.
01:13:22.360 She also said she supported-
01:13:23.560 Taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained migrants.
01:13:25.840 For detained migrants.
01:13:26.420 She actually said she supported them.
01:13:27.820 She wrote, both wrote and answered in the affirmative when she was asked this.
01:13:32.840 And she said she also supported it for federal prisoners.
01:13:37.220 She doesn't believe it.
01:13:38.920 Just like Keith Olbermann didn't believe it.
01:13:40.560 The New Yorker, Susan Glazer, didn't believe it.
01:13:43.440 Time Magazine didn't believe it.
01:13:45.180 They just live in their own bubble, Steve.
01:13:47.620 There's an old joke about the morning after the 1972 election when Richard Nixon mopped
01:13:54.140 the floor with George McGovern.
01:13:55.640 And a reporter for the New York Times gets into an elevator, and they're just stunned
01:14:00.020 at the results of that election, which were almost a mirror of the blowout LBJ had over
01:14:05.760 Goldwater just about a decade earlier.
01:14:07.840 And the New York Times reporter is said to have remarked, I don't know anybody that voted
01:14:12.240 for Nixon.
01:14:12.660 And one of the last corporate media appearances I did before the media went from biased but
01:14:21.740 usually credible on facts to just openly narrative casting and malfeasance, as we see today, is
01:14:29.000 NPR, their NewsHour brought me on the day after the 2016 election.
01:14:34.820 All right.
01:14:35.120 And can someone explain to us from the right what we missed here, how we all got it wrong?
01:14:39.240 And I asked, Judy Woodruff was hosting the show, and I asked Judy, how many people, live
01:14:45.240 on the air, how many people in your newsroom, you guys talk about diversity, and I come
01:14:49.740 out of the newspaper business, and I heard it at the newspaper I worked at all my career,
01:14:54.540 diversity, diversity, diversity, as if it's a mantra.
01:14:57.060 Okay, but what about ideological diversity?
01:14:59.020 How many people in your newsroom go to church at least once a month?
01:15:01.860 How many people in your newsroom are even moderately pro-life?
01:15:05.440 How many people in your newsroom have ever voted for a Republican not named Mitt Romney
01:15:10.900 or John McCain?
01:15:12.460 And it got really quiet and really silent on the other end of that discussion.
01:15:17.160 And Megan, that's the last time that the NewsHour on PBS ever invited me on.
01:15:21.800 Oh, no.
01:15:22.880 Oh, that's unfortunate.
01:15:25.020 No, you're exactly right.
01:15:25.820 I've told the audience this before, but I was invited to go out West and speak with all
01:15:29.100 these high, all the tech companies that you know.
01:15:32.180 And I spoke with many of them.
01:15:33.440 And one of the things that they were looking at was, how do we win back right-wingers?
01:15:39.080 You know, how do we become more fair when it comes to the way we cover the news?
01:15:42.640 And I said, get some Republicans in here.
01:15:46.600 Actually employ them.
01:15:47.920 Put them on your corporate board.
01:15:49.580 Include them in the discussion.
01:15:51.280 Yeah, that didn't happen.
01:15:53.540 On the fact-checking.
01:15:54.540 So here's CNN.
01:15:55.340 You saw Erin Burnett.
01:15:56.200 That was a great point that you raised.
01:15:57.420 She was stunned.
01:15:58.040 She couldn't believe her own reporter's reporting.
01:16:00.400 Not for nothing, but this guy, Kaczynski, he, this poor guy has been through a lot.
01:16:05.860 His daughter, his baby daughter died a couple of years ago.
01:16:10.260 And he talked about it on, wrote about it on Twitter.
01:16:12.660 And it was absolutely heart-wrenching.
01:16:14.500 And if you have a heart at all, you watch this and you thought, oh my God, you know,
01:16:17.940 the humanity.
01:16:18.600 And you prayed for him and his family.
01:16:20.160 And I saw he was attacked.
01:16:24.260 He's getting actually attacked by a lot on the left over this report.
01:16:29.220 You know, the tolerant left.
01:16:30.480 And I'll just give you one of the comments.
01:16:33.320 At least your dead daughter will never know what a terrible person you are.
01:16:37.120 Because of this report.
01:16:39.360 I'm so sick of being lectured to by these people about how they're the tolerant ones.
01:16:45.200 And people who are more right-leaning are racists and intolerant and hateful, right?
01:16:51.460 This is such an absurd.
01:16:52.880 I, I'm worried about those people in Springfield.
01:16:56.540 I'm worried about the families and the mothers down at the Southern border whose 12-year-olds
01:17:01.320 are being raped and murdered.
01:17:03.300 And I do have empathy for Andrew Kaczynski, even though he's probably on the other side
01:17:09.100 politically than I am.
01:17:10.000 I don't know.
01:17:11.060 And he works at CNN.
01:17:12.020 I don't care.
01:17:12.800 I care for him.
01:17:13.840 And I'm sure he's done a lot of reports I wouldn't like.
01:17:15.740 I don't give it.
01:17:16.280 I would know.
01:17:17.020 What kind of a person?
01:17:18.680 Anyway, it's just, it's so aggravating.
01:17:21.180 So on this, on the topic of CNN, let me just take it here.
01:17:25.000 Abby Phillip, who is one of their anchors, right?
01:17:27.740 So now we're back to, she's biased.
01:17:30.380 She's really biased.
01:17:31.540 She watched that debate on Tuesday night, and this is what she tweeted out about the
01:17:37.460 fact-checking.
01:17:38.420 Just FYI, when there is asymmetrical lying, there will be asymmetrical fact-checking.
01:17:45.380 Okay, that's her.
01:17:46.840 She has no idea.
01:17:47.940 And then here she is today.
01:17:50.700 No, last night, I think this was, seemingly unaware of the fact that when Kamala Harris
01:17:59.540 allegedly reversed herself on fracking at the 2020 vice presidential debate, she did not
01:18:05.540 actually reverse herself at all.
01:18:08.460 She only spoke of Joe Biden's position.
01:18:10.940 If he were to become president, look how clueless this woman is.
01:18:13.540 She, in 2019, when she was running, she said, I'm done with fracking, we're going to do
01:18:19.460 away with it.
01:18:20.260 You can't say you're going to do away with it.
01:18:21.940 They had her dead to right on that.
01:18:23.600 What you can say, as a candidate, that I'm not in 2019, I'm not in 2020, and you know
01:18:28.060 what?
01:18:28.240 I changed my mind.
01:18:28.980 Well, she, I guess the point, the reality of it is that she reversed herself in 2020.
01:18:35.720 Like, that's not true.
01:18:36.860 No, she did, Abby.
01:18:37.820 That's a lie.
01:18:38.500 That's not actually a lie.
01:18:40.200 But you know what?
01:18:40.920 But it's a lie.
01:18:42.000 That's a weak argument.
01:18:42.800 No, no, stop.
01:18:43.460 It's a lie.
01:18:44.380 All I'm saying is that more...
01:18:45.980 Look at that.
01:18:46.860 She had no idea.
01:18:48.880 She doesn't have to, Megan.
01:18:50.580 She doesn't have to.
01:18:51.840 There's no accountability.
01:18:52.700 No one, no one, no one systemically gets held accountable for almost anything.
01:18:59.340 I mean, Julie Swetnick, still out roaming the streets, claiming Brett Kavanaugh's a marauding
01:19:06.640 rapist.
01:19:07.580 Okay.
01:19:07.840 Gang rapist.
01:19:09.540 Yeah.
01:19:09.700 No one's ever held accountable for anything.
01:19:11.760 And when you create an enclave of people where it's just, you know, the two of you just
01:19:18.900 sitting around and smelling each other's flatulence and saying, boy, that smells like rose water.
01:19:22.700 That's the best I've ever, that's the best I've ever torn one off and no one questions
01:19:26.640 that kind of reeks, guys.
01:19:28.320 No one, no one, no one interrupts.
01:19:29.840 No one interjects.
01:19:30.680 No one calls BS.
01:19:31.920 No one gets held accountable.
01:19:33.600 No one goes to jail.
01:19:35.520 Of course you're going, you don't have to be fact-checked.
01:19:38.420 You are the facts.
01:19:40.000 You don't have to know the truth.
01:19:41.680 You are the truth.
01:19:43.160 You are your own ministry of information.
01:19:46.120 You are a law unto yourself.
01:19:47.900 And that's what you see in this media culture.
01:19:50.400 It's been funny, by the way.
01:19:51.760 I don't know if you've been watching Nate Silver's feed here for the last couple of weeks
01:19:55.980 since he flipped his model to favor Trump.
01:20:00.180 And he is spending half of his time subtweeting people, his fellow leftists, who now he is
01:20:06.540 suddenly a hack.
01:20:07.640 Now he's suddenly terrible at his job.
01:20:09.740 Now he is suddenly a sellout.
01:20:12.100 Now he suddenly is in the tank for Trump.
01:20:15.400 You know, the most, when I knew that we were really in trouble with corporate media, when
01:20:19.960 we had gone, it was 10 years ago, the New York Times sent a reporter out here to Iowa
01:20:24.080 to profile me before the Iowa caucuses for my role of influence in that process.
01:20:29.220 10 years later, they wouldn't even dare acknowledge someone like me exists.
01:20:32.860 And what, what, when I knew that we were really in trouble, that we had moved from bias to
01:20:37.120 malfeasance is when I saw what happened to Andrew Sullivan.
01:20:40.360 And for people that don't know who Andrew Sullivan is, Andrew Sullivan is basically the Benjamin
01:20:44.620 Franklin of the modern gay rights movement.
01:20:46.620 He was their first great intellectual that was taken seriously by mainstream America and
01:20:52.480 invited to the table of corporate new shows to debates as an open, as openly gay.
01:20:57.960 Uh, he was even, I mean, with a Neil deGrasse Tyson and Zack Snyder's, uh, you know, Batman
01:21:03.980 versus Superman as a, as a, as a figure of pop culture and a mock panel on cable news.
01:21:09.480 He was, and it's a name I know, you know, he was a celebrated name.
01:21:13.400 Well, what happened is when he saw the, the trans stuff and everything else getting introduced
01:21:17.840 and, and now we're going to try to, you know, give, uh, drugs we give to pedophiles and
01:21:21.920 prisons to kids, uh, as, uh, to deny them puberty and all this crazy stuff we're seeing
01:21:27.140 right now, he starts speaking out against that.
01:21:29.520 And he's like, morally, I don't agree with that.
01:21:31.640 Not to mention, I think politically, if you want to, if you, if you guys are trying to
01:21:35.240 erase the gains that we have made on our side in this last generation, doing that to people's
01:21:40.080 kids and that kind of backlash is a great way to do it.
01:21:42.720 He got totally excommunicated by the movement.
01:21:45.140 He basically helps to found and he mainstreamed.
01:21:47.560 And when, and, and, and that told me if there is no room at the end for critical thinking
01:21:53.440 for the likes of Andrew Sullivan, who street cred on the left, who, when many of these
01:21:58.040 leftists who would say things like that, that you mentioned to Kaczynski, when they were
01:22:01.680 still in diapers, dude was out fighting people with my belief system, frankly, in the culture
01:22:05.580 war.
01:22:05.980 If there is no more room in the critical thinking in for the likes of Andrew Sullivan, if I've
01:22:10.920 got more in common with Andrew Sullivan than he does with, than he does with corporate
01:22:14.660 media, that gives you an idea now how that process is irredeemably broken.
01:22:19.220 All I could think of was, you know, a couple of people made nasty comments about Tim Walz's
01:22:25.980 son at that debate and whether they knew he was special needs or not.
01:22:30.640 I don't know.
01:22:32.280 But it was vile and it was gross.
01:22:34.920 It was inappropriate.
01:22:36.460 And it was a story that went everywhere.
01:22:40.420 I wonder whether anybody, even at CNN, will report on the hate that Andrew Kaczynski is receiving
01:22:46.580 because of this report, if they, if, you know, bringing up his deceased baby daughter, like,
01:22:55.200 is that something CNN might report on just to, for the dignity of its own reporter and
01:22:59.980 to defend its own reporter?
01:23:01.140 I wonder, I'll wait.
01:23:02.740 Here's what's room, what's in the news now, um, as the reaction continues, you know, the
01:23:08.720 left is celebrating what they think was a clear victory for Kamala Harris.
01:23:11.700 And you've got Frank Luntz with this take on it, you know, a longtime pollster and, um,
01:23:20.220 he does the focus groups, but Frank has never been, uh, Trump fan at all.
01:23:26.180 And it's colored a lot of those groups.
01:23:28.780 Here he was on Piers Morgan after the debate.
01:23:31.500 Do you think Kamala won?
01:23:32.880 And does that mean she may now win the election?
01:23:34.820 I think more accurately is that Donald Trump lost and this is not the worst debate performance
01:23:43.160 I've seen in my career, but it's very close to it.
01:23:46.460 It was a pretty negative performance, pretty pessimistic, cynical, uh, contemptuous.
01:23:53.460 And I think that this will cost him, yes, I'm, uh, I'm trying to decide if I want to go on
01:24:01.140 record and the answer is yes.
01:24:02.760 I think that, uh, that he loses because of this debate performance.
01:24:09.240 OMG, nothing could be further from the truth.
01:24:13.160 I don't think this is going to move the polls much if at all.
01:24:17.540 And I certainly don't think that by the time voters go to the ballot box on November 5th,
01:24:21.860 they're going to be thinking about this debate.
01:24:23.540 Steve, what do you think?
01:24:25.820 I've always tried to be, let me take this personally for a second, Megan.
01:24:29.500 I've tried to be nice where Frank Luntz is concerned, even though I'm, uh, he's, his,
01:24:34.940 he's not a voice I take seriously in my daily work, but early in my career, I got invited
01:24:39.980 to a conference in New York and we have a mutual friend and he let me stay at his pat.
01:24:45.080 Okay.
01:24:45.440 When he didn't have to do that and I couldn't afford to go to New York otherwise, if he had
01:24:48.720 not done that.
01:24:49.400 All right.
01:24:49.660 So I've always tried to, I've always, it was nice.
01:24:51.860 It was kind.
01:24:52.380 And so I've just kind of chosen when he says something I find to be silly, which is often
01:24:57.280 on various fronts, just to kind of look the other way.
01:24:59.600 Okay.
01:25:00.580 Um, so let me as politely as possible, put it this way.
01:25:04.580 Listen, I'll be honest.
01:25:05.900 If I were a Democrat operative and I've worked on presidential campaigns, I've done debate prep
01:25:10.480 on, I've done spin room for multiple presidential campaigns.
01:25:13.240 If I was a Democrat, if I was a Kamala operative, I mean, I was, I was down to the cuticles.
01:25:18.920 I was down to the subcutaneous of my fingernails before that debate started thinking we're going
01:25:23.100 to get knocked out right now, 50 days before the election.
01:25:26.400 She at least survived.
01:25:27.800 I, and so I'd be ecstatic if I was a democratic operative.
01:25:30.540 If we got out of there and didn't get nuked.
01:25:33.100 Okay.
01:25:33.540 But, but keep this in mind, 54 days ago, Joe Biden was still the nominee of the democratic
01:25:39.760 party.
01:25:41.080 About 61 days ago, Donald Trump took a bullet to the face.
01:25:45.080 I mean, 54 days in an election is an incredible amount of time, particularly one that has had
01:25:52.200 so many, I can't believe that happened, happens all the time in this election cycle.
01:25:57.080 All right.
01:25:57.660 I mean, the, the, I, the idea, I think if the, I think we put the wonder woman lasso
01:26:01.440 of truth around Donald Trump there, I think he would tell us, you know, I had a chance
01:26:05.660 to knock her out and I let her off the hook.
01:26:07.440 Okay.
01:26:08.200 But the idea though, that nothing else is going to occur over the next 54 days that will remove
01:26:15.420 what people think of that debate.
01:26:16.840 Hey, listen, Kamala survived.
01:26:18.860 And to that, if I were a democratic operative, I'd be ecstatic because there's a reason why
01:26:23.080 she's still, even after the debate, I thought Trump made a great point yesterday.
01:26:26.400 Hey, if she, if they really think she did so well, then why is it still, she's still not
01:26:29.760 doing unscripted appearances after the debate.
01:26:32.120 Okay.
01:26:32.600 But 54 days in this cycle is an eternity.
01:26:36.760 54 days ago, we were looking at a dramatically different election than the one we're even looking
01:26:40.820 at right now.
01:26:41.800 A lot can happen in the next 54 days.
01:26:44.160 I'll be fascinated to see what the short-term polling shows.
01:26:47.920 I just, I'd be shocked if this actually moved the needle.
01:26:50.820 I mean, they had a huge ratings, 67 million people watched the debate because it was available,
01:26:55.740 of course, across all platforms and all networks.
01:26:58.180 And that's the total number.
01:26:59.840 I bet that the ratings were bigger in the beginning for the first half hour where Trump did a little
01:27:03.640 better than they were as the debate went on.
01:27:06.200 But I just don't, I think people are too dug in on their general feelings about these two
01:27:11.060 and the flash focus groups done by the various networks, CNN, CBS, after the debate showed
01:27:16.860 that if anything, people tended to be moving a little bit more towards Trump.
01:27:20.920 So we'll see, we'll get an answer on this thing.
01:27:23.220 But here's what's so galling about it, Steve.
01:27:25.380 You see this, I just, I made a list just on the back of my packet today about what happened
01:27:32.060 at that debate because it's so annoying.
01:27:33.660 Um, she tried to claim that Trump was lying when he said she wanted a mandatory firearm
01:27:41.840 buyback program.
01:27:43.740 That was a lie by her.
01:27:45.240 She said, stop lying.
01:27:46.680 It's a lie.
01:27:47.880 She's on camera saying she wanted.
01:27:49.160 In fact, we have that queued up in a butted soundbite of what she said at the debate and
01:27:52.800 what she's actually said in the past.
01:27:54.000 Here it is.
01:27:55.300 This business about taking everyone's guns away, Tim Walls and I are both gun owners.
01:27:59.800 We're not taking anybody's guns away.
01:28:01.360 So stop with the continuous lying about this stuff.
01:28:04.080 I support buybacks and it's something I'm so passionate about and so looking forward
01:28:09.380 to being president to address.
01:28:11.460 We've got to deal with this.
01:28:12.940 How mandatory is your gun buyback program?
01:28:15.460 It's mandatory.
01:28:16.380 Stop with the continuous lying about this stuff.
01:28:19.540 Unbelievable.
01:28:20.160 Done by the redheaded libertarian online.
01:28:21.860 A great fact check.
01:28:23.080 No fact check by David Muir or Lindsay Davis.
01:28:25.560 Trump called neo-Nazis very fine people and the bloodbath.
01:28:29.740 Trump did try to self fact check that on the stage so I can give ABC a pass on that one
01:28:35.760 because Trump jumped in and tried to do it himself.
01:28:38.700 Trump claimed that babies are being killed outside the womb.
01:28:43.380 That is true here in America.
01:28:46.020 And not only did they just, you know, that's a real thing.
01:28:50.480 They did try to jump in on that one, ABC, and fact check it.
01:28:53.080 To the contrary, saying it wasn't true.
01:28:54.880 It is true.
01:28:55.480 I'll just give you a couple things.
01:28:56.500 In Minnesota, eight babies who survived abortions, that's the issue that Trump was trying to
01:29:00.860 raise, were abandoned and died.
01:29:04.020 Five were born alive in 2021 during failed abortions.
01:29:07.900 None received life-saving care.
01:29:09.820 Two got comfort care.
01:29:11.460 Three died in 2019.
01:29:13.460 No life-saving care was provided.
01:29:15.060 That's in Minnesota, the home state of one of the people who's on the tickets.
01:29:18.620 Kamala Harris' running mate, it happened.
01:29:20.720 National Review pointing out in an article,
01:29:22.200 the CDC says 143 cases of infants born alive between 2003 and 2014, and they admit, the CDC
01:29:30.280 does, they could be underestimating the number, they were born alive and allowed to die on
01:29:36.300 the table, not giving life-saving care because of this belief that if a mother wants to abort
01:29:41.520 her kid and it happens to be born anyway, that it has no rights to life.
01:29:45.220 This is an issue for pro-life conservatives and pro-life Democrats, too, that ABC doesn't
01:29:51.720 know anything about because that's not the, that's the bubble they're in.
01:29:54.980 They don't, same way Abby Phillip didn't know about the fracking and, you know, none of these
01:29:59.480 other, the guy in the elevator in the New York Times had never heard of anybody who voted
01:30:02.460 for their conservative.
01:30:03.120 Like, that's, that's the problem here.
01:30:05.360 Um, she said that she, she laughed when Trump said she wanted to defend the cops.
01:30:09.080 No fact check by David Muir.
01:30:10.760 She is on record as having said that.
01:30:12.500 Um, she, let's see, she said it's not true that abortion can be performed in the seventh
01:30:20.640 month as Trump claimed explicitly.
01:30:22.640 She said the words not true.
01:30:24.600 Uh, we are not doing this.
01:30:26.500 She said no fact check by ABC, even though last year, the Atlantic profiled a Colorado
01:30:32.180 abortionist who performs elective abortions in month seven, nine states in DC place no limit
01:30:37.220 on abortions in DC.
01:30:38.700 You can go to clinics who provide abortion of up to at least 36 weeks.
01:30:44.360 Uh, I could go on.
01:30:45.860 Police died on January 6th.
01:30:47.500 No, they didn't know.
01:30:48.200 Fact check, uh, the fracking lie she told about how she changed her position, her position in
01:30:52.900 2020, no fact check by ABC.
01:30:56.220 I mean, we could be here all day, but that's why it's so aggravating to see someone like
01:31:00.740 Frank Luntz say Trump was cynical and lost the debate in a way that will lose him the
01:31:07.440 election.
01:31:08.620 Trump walked into an ambush by Kamala Harris and her two media enablers and did the best
01:31:15.740 he could.
01:31:16.400 Was it what you or I would have liked?
01:31:18.020 No, it wasn't.
01:31:19.200 But any assessment of his performance that doesn't factor that in is dishonest.
01:31:23.000 I'll give you the last word, Steve.
01:31:24.600 When elections are about issues, Republicans win.
01:31:26.860 This is a metaphysical certitude of the universe of American politics.
01:31:30.960 Iron law of the universe, as Tucker likes to say.
01:31:33.460 When elections are about issues, Republicans win.
01:31:36.260 Doesn't matter who the candidates are.
01:31:37.600 When elections are about personalities, Democrats win.
01:31:40.020 Doesn't matter who the candidates are.
01:31:41.160 And every presidential election since the dawn of the television era has been decided by
01:31:45.540 the side that better articulated a vision for the future.
01:31:47.980 Regardless of what you think about the performance of the two candidates on stage, the substance
01:31:55.360 of what was unveiled, which may be the only unscripted moment, however unscripted it actually
01:32:00.620 was, it may be the only unscripted moment of Kamala that the Trump campaign gets the
01:32:05.160 rest of the way.
01:32:06.340 There is a treasure trove of issues to hit her on.
01:32:09.720 If I were on that campaign, my struggle would be narrowing down the message because there's
01:32:14.080 at least 20 commercials there.
01:32:15.580 If you run too many with too many different attacks, they become white noise and don't
01:32:19.000 resonate my heart.
01:32:20.260 My temptation would be, how do I narrow this down to two or three and just keep hammering
01:32:24.340 those over and over again?
01:32:25.840 Because she was forced, despite her performance, which I do think exceeded a lot of people's
01:32:30.360 low expectations.
01:32:31.380 She was forced to articulate things on the issues and expose herself that can be exposed now
01:32:36.240 moving forward by the Trump campaign to their advantage.
01:32:38.520 Oh, definitely.
01:32:39.260 Well, we'll see what they do because their ad game is getting better.
01:32:42.080 But I did, I told the audience she was, she was strong in that debate against Mike Pence
01:32:46.020 and she's very good at memorizing answers.
01:32:47.880 And she proved that on Tuesday.
01:32:49.760 Steve, great to see you.
01:32:51.060 Thanks for being here today.
01:32:51.700 Thank you, Maggie.
01:32:52.220 Thank you.
01:32:53.040 You bet.
01:32:53.500 All right.
01:32:53.760 We'll be right back with another debate angle.
01:32:55.620 We've got a body language expert who's got thoughts.
01:32:58.400 I want to tell you about the Daily Wire's documentary that's exposing the left's precious DEI industry.
01:33:04.360 It's called Am I Racist?
01:33:06.400 And it's hitting theaters nationwide on September 13th.
01:33:08.980 From the same team that brought you What is a Woman, this film proves that the only way
01:33:13.240 to take DEI seriously is to laugh it into oblivion.
01:33:16.660 Right on.
01:33:17.600 Matt Walsh goes deep undercover.
01:33:20.560 Well, you'll see how deep in the twisted world of diversity training.
01:33:25.320 And the results are as hilarious as they are shocking.
01:33:28.420 Here's the deal.
01:33:29.080 Let's pack these theaters for these guys.
01:33:31.280 This is not just entertainment.
01:33:32.540 It's a counterpunch to Hollywood's woke propaganda.
01:33:36.000 Every ticket sold is a blow to the left's narrative.
01:33:38.480 The more tickets sold, the more theaters will show it.
01:33:40.900 That's how it works.
01:33:42.160 Go to amiracist.com and get your tickets now.
01:33:45.300 Bring your friends, your family, even bring a liberal.
01:33:48.560 They might actually learn something about this nonsense.
01:33:51.160 Let's show conservatives can dominate the box office and make opening weekend a big success.
01:33:56.440 Don't sit this one out.
01:33:57.840 Head to amiracist.com and get your tickets now.

01:35:05.020 Welcome back to The Megan Kelly Show.
01:35:06.720 We've talked about the debate, but here's my conversation with someone who watched the
01:35:10.020 debate from a unique perspective.
01:35:12.420 The handshake, Kamala Harris's chin stroke, her dry mouth.
01:35:17.140 Dr. Donna Van Natten, aka the body language doctor, is a renowned motivational speaker and
01:35:22.820 is the author of The Body Language of Politics.
01:35:25.960 Decide who is lying, who is sincere, and how you'll vote.
01:35:30.020 Watch.
01:35:30.280 Kamala Harris.
01:35:37.580 What's up?
01:35:38.060 Good to see you.
01:35:38.860 Have fun.
01:35:39.380 Thank you.
01:35:41.200 Welcome to you both.
01:35:42.200 It's wonderful to have you.
01:35:43.200 It's an honor to have you both here tonight.
01:35:44.880 Go ahead.
01:35:45.180 Yeah, so most definitely she had an agenda that she was going to shake hands because probably
01:35:50.440 had been noted before that it didn't happen with Biden and Trump.
01:35:53.940 So she extended her hand first.
01:35:56.400 I saw a couple still photos afterward.
01:35:58.560 And, you know, it's the first time strangers physically touch each other and we're pretty
01:36:02.640 sensitive to that.
01:36:03.480 So she had a long stretch with her arm, more so than him, but he didn't pull her in, you
01:36:08.620 know, like we can, or you see sometimes males do.
01:36:10.860 He actually palmed up a little bit and gave her.
01:36:13.600 Yeah, almost definitely.
01:36:14.360 Because he's a large person compared to many people.
01:36:16.780 And he's very aware of how he handles his body.
01:36:19.420 From when he's sitting, he might, you know, put elbows on knees to take a smaller position
01:36:23.700 in the room or if he wants to be larger.
01:36:25.480 But he definitely had gave her the slight palm up and let her have the handshake, even
01:36:30.380 though he kept his elbow bent more than she did.
01:36:32.980 And then she crossed the room.
01:36:34.280 So, yeah, that was one of the first things that everybody noticed.
01:36:37.140 So he wasn't trying to do a power move on her in response to her attempted power move
01:36:41.020 on him.
01:36:42.400 He did not.
01:36:43.420 He did not.
01:36:44.080 They both did a couple of things really well.
01:36:46.120 Let's look at how you dress.
01:36:47.640 You know, he had the traditional.
01:36:49.340 I mean, he dresses very well, you know, at this point in his life, the red, white and the
01:36:53.060 blue, very intentional.
01:36:54.540 Both had the flags on, you know, the little details.
01:36:58.640 But they did a pretty good job with her as well.
01:37:00.340 They knew to put her in a suit, a slight heel, nothing that would be wobbly.
01:37:05.420 And her top, very modest on the chest area.
01:37:08.640 And the way the fabric flapped over kind of simulate a tie, but not be as masculine as
01:37:13.940 a tie.
01:37:15.080 Neutral nails, neutral makeup, hair done.
01:37:17.440 So I would give to them both that they knew that they were going to be on a global stage
01:37:21.180 and to dress the part.
01:37:22.420 Yeah, and no distractions in the dress.
01:37:24.800 That's really what you want to avoid in their position.
01:37:26.980 No one should be thinking about your dress, your jewelry, or, you know, your hair, et cetera.
01:37:32.760 She did in the first half an hour of the debate have quite a few facial reactions to what he
01:37:39.180 was saying.
01:37:39.900 We've got a bit of a video montage put together.
01:37:43.540 Can you talk about what you noticed on her, her physical reactions to his, his statements?
01:37:49.620 We can just play it and talk over it.
01:37:52.440 Yes.
01:37:53.740 Right.
01:37:54.300 So that's putting the hand to the chin is very intentional because typically we don't
01:37:58.400 touch our faces unless we want to trigger a reaction or an emotion.
01:38:02.460 And typically when you see the hand to the face, it's an evaluation.
01:38:05.660 So she's subtly or very overtly considering what he says, but the smile on the face, it's
01:38:12.220 not a genuine smile.
01:38:13.420 That would be a Duchesne smile, says that she's entertained or amused by what he's saying.
01:38:18.720 And yes, as part of her prepping, she knew that she would look at him often.
01:38:23.900 And as part of Trump's prepping, he was not going to look at her.
01:38:27.480 He was focused straight ahead.
01:38:29.140 Hands almost never left the podium unless they were making a point, which they both at that
01:38:33.700 point used their hands to draw, you know, to make the point.
01:38:36.300 Opened palms for both of them, except at one time in Harris's final takeaway, where she
01:38:42.520 had a slightly closed fist to make her point in the passion that went with it, you know,
01:38:46.560 that she was really ramping up on her speech.
01:38:48.880 Other than that, both Trump and Harris did have similar use of hands.
01:38:54.840 One of the things that we did notice about Harris was when she started speaking that she
01:38:59.440 had some stress that you could see coming through on the cartilage in her throat.
01:39:03.340 You could only see the lines, the muscles or the cartilage.
01:39:06.320 And she had a slightly elevated tone, which indicated a little bit of stress.
01:39:10.600 But as the time went on, that went away and it softened around her neck.
01:39:15.900 Yes.
01:39:16.420 She also definitely had some dry mouth, which you could hear.
01:39:19.460 We actually pulled an example of that.
01:39:20.840 My team's amazing.
01:39:21.680 They had an example of everything.
01:39:22.900 Here's SOT 61.
01:39:24.720 Same old tired playbook.
01:39:26.620 A bunch of lies.
01:39:27.800 What the Wharton School has said is Donald Trump's plan would actually explode the deficit.
01:39:35.060 Donald Trump hand-selected three members of the United States Supreme Court with the intention
01:39:40.520 that they would undo the protections of Roe v. Wade.
01:39:43.780 And they did exactly as he intended.
01:39:46.520 What do you make of that?
01:39:47.240 We call that, it wasn't lip smacking, but it was definitely dry mouth.
01:39:50.900 Whereas when we look at over 100 micro expressions of the face, from the squinting of the eye,
01:39:56.720 does it match the face, to the raising of the eyebrow, like a surprise, to being sarcastic
01:40:02.240 in response, to pursing of the lips like he had, almost like a donut or a pursing at one
01:40:07.740 point when she was talking about something.
01:40:09.880 Almost when you close your lips tightly together that you don't, you're literally holding the
01:40:14.760 words in so you don't say them.
01:40:16.520 So, you know, we look for symmetry in beauty and everything and in our faces.
01:40:21.280 And when we break symmetry, whether it's smirk or a disgusting or a tilting of the head,
01:40:26.840 it catches our attention because something is going on inside their head that's being
01:40:31.080 displayed through their bodies.
01:40:32.440 And that's what we try to pick up on.
01:40:33.980 Because technically, you could turn the sound down and we'd be able to figure out a lot of
01:40:39.240 what they're saying just on how they're engaging or not engaging with each other.
01:40:43.080 That's what the challenging part is that we were limited.
01:40:47.000 What did you make of the fact that Trump didn't look at her?
01:40:50.140 We noticed that ourselves last night.
01:40:51.520 He was straight ahead and she kept looking over at him.
01:40:54.160 So what does that say about both of them?
01:40:57.380 Well, they had good training, is what it says.
01:41:00.280 They spent a lot of time and his camp said, you will not look at her because perhaps they
01:41:05.320 didn't want him to be distracted by her theatrics, right?
01:41:08.560 Of the this, of the this, of the smiling, of the pulling back.
01:41:12.500 Remember, she's a prosecutor, so she's, she too is comfortable, if you will, on some
01:41:16.640 sort of a stage by presenting how she wants the story to look, as is he on a, you know,
01:41:22.140 a public platform of how, where he wants to stand and what he wants to do.
01:41:26.220 So they both went in with an agenda that she would look at him and he would not look at
01:41:30.920 her.
01:41:31.320 A few times where the clock was located, you would see his eyes go up to watch the time.
01:41:35.760 And that's when his eyes became physically bigger.
01:41:37.620 But I think it was really interesting in when we analyze Trump from previous times, you
01:41:43.720 know, there's been a lot about his coloring or his makeup or his hair.
01:41:47.980 This time, there's not really been much talk, which has been interesting because somebody
01:41:51.860 in his entourage has figured out not to have that tinted or that orange, as some people
01:41:58.600 have said, and just style the hair that is flattering to the camera this time, which is
01:42:03.220 an improvement.
01:42:05.860 He did not look orange last night.
01:42:07.420 He looked like just a little tan, like a golfing guy, as opposed to his sort of signature color.
01:42:12.880 Thanks for joining us today.
01:42:14.180 Tomorrow, Dr. Casey Means is here.
01:42:17.640 Oh, I can't wait to talk to her.
01:42:19.800 This is the doctor who was on Tucker like a month ago.
01:42:22.600 And RFKJ mentioned her in his Trump endorsement speech.
01:42:25.920 I've read her book.
01:42:27.040 There's so much goodness in here, you guys.
01:42:28.800 You're going to want to hear this.
01:42:30.100 We'll see you then.
01:42:33.220 Thanks for listening to The Megyn Kelly Show.
01:42:35.400 No BS, no agenda, and no fear.
