The Megyn Kelly Show - Tariff Threats Get Results, and Absurdity at Grammys and DNC Conference, with Ric Grenell, Stu Burguiere, and Coach Tuberville ｜ Ep. 998

00:00:00.520 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, live on Sirius XM channel 111 every weekday at noon east.

00:00:12.180 Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show and happy Monday.

00:00:16.740 President Trump's whirlwind first couple of weeks has continued over the weekend.

00:00:21.320 It's nonstop. He does not rest.

00:00:23.120 There's no more, you know, weird sand shuffling over long weekends at Rehoboth Beach from the busy work week of the president that goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at best, four days a week, as we had with our last president.

00:00:39.380 This president does not stop. All he does is work and try to improve the country.

00:00:43.960 I mean, I don't think he sleeps. It's kind of crazy.

00:00:47.200 Don't you need to sit down? I need to sit down. I need to have my coffee.

00:00:52.780 I can't even talk to Doug in the morning. He's such a chatty Kathy. I'm like, honey, I need my coffee.

00:00:57.860 President Trump's up and at him. OK, so a lot of big things happening. We're going to go through it.

00:01:03.160 News today about these terror threats against Mexico and Canada, where it appears Mexico's already folded.

00:01:11.000 Fast action from Secretary Rubio down in Panama.

00:01:13.780 You know, he kind of gave us a preview of what he was going to do down there.

00:01:17.140 He's worried about the Chinese influence. Well, he already scored a big W down there.

00:01:21.100 And I think it's going to be the first of many because President Trump wants the whole kit and caboodle.

00:01:25.280 He doesn't want just small wins. He wants the big victory. And we'll talk about what that means.

00:01:30.340 Plus, we have got to in just a bit talk about last night's Grammys.

00:01:33.680 Of course, you didn't watch them. Neither did I. Nobody watched them.

00:01:36.000 We only see the clips online. But it does give you a little window into how

00:01:39.580 insane these so-called cultural leaders of the music industry are.

00:01:44.240 They're just I mean, it used to be kind of cool to be a musician, right?

00:01:48.800 To like somebody who could fill a stadium in Italy, in, you know, France, in Denver with people

00:01:58.180 jumping up and down and loving them. Now you've got absolute idiots trying to espouse their political 1.00

00:02:04.960 views to us as though we care about anything about them other than the way they sing songs. 1.00

00:02:10.300 We'll get to that. But we begin today with an exclusive interview with our friend Rick Grinnell.

00:02:15.580 Now, back in December, President Trump appointed Grinnell as his envoy for special missions,

00:02:19.960 a title that sounded important but vague. We weren't sure what it was. But Rick,

00:02:23.620 of course, has a lot of international experience. Former ambassador to Germany,

00:02:29.240 former acting DNI, was at the UN for a long time. I mean, he knows what he's doing overseas.

00:02:34.760 And now we're starting to get a better feel for how Trump intends to use him.

00:02:37.980 And it's boy, for the good of the United States. We've already seen his diplomacy in action as he

00:02:43.280 returned this past Friday night from Venezuela and not alone. He brought with him six Americans

00:02:49.920 who are being effectively held hostage by the Maduro regime. Here to tell that story is Rick Grinnell.

00:02:58.640 When it comes to grocery shopping and meal planning, it's often stressful and time consuming.

00:03:03.400 Between busy schedules and personal demands, finding the time to shop, plan meals, or cook

00:03:09.020 healthy dishes from scratch is challenging. On top of that, maintaining special dietary needs

00:03:14.440 and health goals, I mean, it can all be overwhelming, right? But now there's Hungry Root,

00:04:15.640 Rick, great to see you. This is an incredible story. I mean, I saw a lot of reactions on Twitter from,

00:04:20.400 you know, well-meaning fans of the president even saying, is it bad that I didn't know we had six

00:04:26.520 Americans being held in Venezuela? So just give us a little background on who these people are.

00:04:32.480 Well, first of all, I have to say, I'm still really emotional about what happened Friday. It was

00:04:37.120 probably the highlight of my career to be able to represent America, to represent the president,

00:04:43.420 and to watch what was happening in real time to negotiate. Not only did we get the hostages back

00:04:49.920 without paying a penny and without trading any hostages, which is really important, but we also

00:04:58.380 got the Venezuelan government to bring their planes to the United States to take illegal immigrants in

00:05:08.560 our country from Venezuela back to Venezuela. They are sending the planes and they are paying for it.

00:05:13.920 I think this is the new standard. It's pretty amazing. But the negotiations were obviously very

00:05:20.280 secret. I left Friday morning super early. I went on an Air Force plane, had Air Force protection. The

00:05:26.220 Air Force is amazing. They've got young people who just are totally committed and working in secret

00:05:32.680 and working around the clock. We flew out of Washington, D.C. We landed in Caracas and made our

00:05:42.520 way into the presidential palace. There hadn't been a White House official there in Caracas in a very

00:05:49.520 long time. And I started negotiating with the Maduro team and then eventually with Nicolas Maduro.

00:05:58.300 And it was pretty amazing to be there and to negotiate on behalf of the U.S. But we had a clear

00:06:06.400 mandate from President Trump. He knew what he wanted. We knew what the parameters were. And the pressure

00:06:12.760 was on to deliver. What was that clear mandate? First of all, to get the illegal immigrants in our 1.00

00:06:21.980 country back to Venezuela. And they needed to accept all of these individuals, including the

00:06:28.460 awful group, the Trende Aragua. And we needed to make them realize that they had to take them back. 1.00

00:06:38.580 And we went for everything by saying, you need to provide the planes. You need to pay for it. You need

00:06:44.680 to come get them. And there are, you know, hundreds of thousands. And so there's going to be a big group

00:06:51.120 going back to Caracas. And then the president wanted us to focus on the hostages. You know,

00:06:57.480 there are 12 Americans, at least. We may have found a couple of more while we were there,

00:07:04.360 that are, in essence, hostages. They're held on really lame charges. But we had a conversation about

00:07:13.080 the individuals. It's the Venezuelans government position. It's Nicolas Maduro's position that some of

00:07:20.240 these individuals were arrested because of terrorism charges or individuals that were

00:07:28.520 trying to kill the president of Venezuela or the vice president. And what I said to Nicolas Maduro very

00:07:36.780 clearly, I said, look, if you've got evidence that individuals were trying to kill you or the vice

00:07:41.240 president, those are serious issues. We should absolutely prosecute those individuals. We are with

00:07:47.320 you on that. We agree on that. However, we need to share information because our information doesn't

00:07:53.840 say that. Our information says that some of these individuals were simply working in the military,

00:07:58.600 a former Navy SEAL who didn't do anything wrong, but you're reading their background and pretending

00:08:05.240 like they were there and sent there by the U.S. government. We in the U.S. understand that there are,

00:08:10.860 you know, millions of people who served in the military and who then leave the military and proudly

00:08:16.820 carry their military experience with them as they go into life, whether they're vacationing in Colombia

00:08:24.920 and, you know, going over the border accidentally into Venezuela or meeting a woman that they were

00:08:33.260 interested in for the weekend in Venezuela. These are all innocent human issues. And it's our job to

00:08:41.300 explain that. So some of these individuals, it's going to take some time, but we are very focused on

00:08:46.420 making the case and sharing the information to be able to get the others out. But we did have six.

00:08:53.380 We were able to successfully argue that these six were absolutely innocent. They're not political

00:09:00.080 in nature and they deserve to come home. And we were able to-

00:09:05.540 Look at this picture.

00:09:07.980 Yeah, it was pretty amazing.

00:09:09.820 So that's you with the six, one, two, three, four, five, six. They all appear to be 0.63

00:09:13.960 approaching middle age or around middle age.

00:09:17.700 Some of them were young, although the guy in the middle was young.

00:09:22.040 The guy with your arm, that you have your arm around, he looks younger, with all due respect.

00:09:25.620 The others look closer to your age than my age.

00:09:30.080 I have to tell one story, Megan, that I haven't told anybody this publicly. And it's pretty

00:09:37.060 remarkable. You'll see if you pull up that picture that four of them are in kind of their prison

00:09:45.580 blue uniforms and two are in regular uniform. And what happened was we negotiated for six.

00:09:55.800 And the four in blue actually had said when we got on the plane. So they said, where are the other

00:10:03.340 two? We were released into this room and we had the other two guys with us and they asked us to shave

00:10:11.520 and to get ready, get cleaned up. And two of the individuals said, we're not doing this again.

00:10:18.660 We've done this four or five times. This is fake. We're not doing this again. And they refused to

00:10:24.580 follow the rules and get cleaned up. The other four did. And what ended up happening over time that we

00:10:31.760 only learned later was that the Venezuelan government found two other Americans to replace them. They

00:10:39.660 didn't have time to get everything together. So they they're in their plain clothes. And that's why

00:10:46.900 there are two others not in blue. It's heartbreaking to think that there were two individuals that could

00:10:53.100 have been released. But they thought that once again, this was just a head fake from the Venezuelan

00:10:59.540 government. And so they refused to play the game, not knowing, not realizing that this was for real.

00:11:06.120 Oh, no. So are we going to go back for them by your total that you said 12 that we should have six

00:11:12.820 still there? Yeah, there's at least six. We think we found another two because we interviewed these

00:11:19.120 individuals. As you can imagine, if you're in prison, one of the first things the State Department does is

00:11:23.120 to say, well, are there other Americans? Give us information about who's there. And so we're working

00:11:29.600 on that. We will absolutely go back. Part of our work is to really push them to show the facts,

00:11:37.500 right? Because these these individuals are not terrorists. They're not trying to kill the president

00:11:41.840 and the vice president. That's what the Venezuelans believe. So it's our job to convince them, show them

00:11:47.180 the facts and to actually dig in. This is what the Biden team didn't do. The Biden team didn't even send

00:11:53.400 anyone to the prisons. These individuals that you're looking at, they didn't even get a wellness

00:11:59.480 check from the Biden administration. They had no idea what was going on. No one. Is that protocol,

00:12:05.540 Rick, to at least get a wellness check? Worse. Of course. It's it's that's what we do at as American

00:12:13.460 diplomats is to at least get wellness check and to say, do you have the lawyer? We're working on your

00:12:18.660 case. Give them information. These individuals were completely in the dark. So much so, Megan,

00:12:26.240 that when I what you you were showing that video of me walking out on the tarmac, we were on the

00:12:31.140 tarmac for about two and a half hours waiting. And I didn't know if they kind of were not going to give

00:12:37.060 us the individuals. We waited and waited and everybody on the plane, the Americans were very

00:12:43.700 nervous. I was nervous. What what's going to happen when these cars pulled up? And I was I was

00:12:49.280 standing there for a little while. I saw the six were in individual cars and I could see from across

00:12:56.940 the tarmac that somebody got out of the car and they had a black hood over their head. And I and I

00:13:04.620 just stood there thinking this is an American. I'm an American diplomat. I have the Air Force behind

00:13:10.520 me on an Air Force plane. And we can't just stand here while an American has a hood on his head and

00:13:19.400 is shackled. And so I walked over there and each individual was being unhooded and unshackled to get

00:13:29.300 on the plane. And I would say to each individual, get on the plane, get on the plane. I'm an American

00:13:34.740 diplomat. Go get on the plane right now. One individual that I think there's a picture of me

00:13:40.220 hugging him was standing in front of me with his black hood over his head. And as they took the hood

00:13:48.560 off, he would later tell me I had no idea where I was, what was happening, what was going to happen to

00:13:54.900 me. But when he took his hood off, I looked at him and I said, I'm an American diplomat sent here by

00:14:02.560 Donald Trump. I'm here to take you home, get on the plane. And he broke into tears and hugged me.

00:14:09.380 And I have to say, you know me, I'm a personally, I'm an emotional person, but professionally,

00:14:14.580 I'm not emotional at all. I'm that's right. It doesn't matter what you say. My in my life with

00:14:19.480 my nephews and nieces, I can be the first softie. But professionally, I just don't have emotions. I go

00:14:25.660 and I work. But in that moment, in my 25 year career, I felt emotion rush over me like never

00:14:33.520 before. And I really had to hold back tears. And I just said, get on the plane, we're getting out of

00:14:39.020 here. And he was the sixth, we got him on the plane. And as soon as we got in the air, they all clapped.

00:14:44.920 And as soon as we landed in American soil, they all were incredibly grateful. One of them told me,

00:14:52.520 and you know, these guys, they they they have nothing there. They didn't have shoelaces anymore,

00:14:57.560 no phones, no clothing. It was freezing cold when we got back to Washington, D.C. And this this guy

00:15:05.340 looked at me and he said, I don't have much. But let me tell you, for the rest of my life,

00:15:10.380 everything I have is yours. And I said, you don't owe me anything. You're an American.

00:15:16.000 And we together do this. And we're bringing you home.

00:15:19.380 No man left behind. I know you guys made a phone call to President Trump

00:15:23.240 from the plane. And we have a little bit of that. Take a listen here. Sot, one.

00:15:29.680 I had Donald Trump all over my prison cell. I love you, Donald Trump. Thank you.

00:15:33.660 Thank you. Greg Werber here. I thank you. I can't believe we're here. This is incredible. I'm

00:15:38.900 walking on a cloud. We love you, Trump. We love you, Trump. Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you.

00:15:46.880 Unbelievable. Rick, I I hate to say to use this word, you guys almost made it look easy. So what?

00:15:53.960 Oh, why? Why wasn't the last administration doing this? I mean, obviously there was a deal to be had

00:16:00.460 and I don't. Did Venezuela get anything other than the threat of Trump's wrath? Like, how did we get

00:16:07.200 them? Well, it's a really good question. And I think in diplomacy, what I've learned is you've

00:16:13.680 got to show up, right? You've got to show up and talk. And so I was asked that question. President

00:16:19.400 Maduro said to me, you know, OK, so we're going to give you these. And now these are the things we

00:16:23.660 want. And I said, no, we're giving you a huge gift. And the huge gift is that I am here sitting

00:16:31.800 with you and you've got all sorts of cameras around and you're going to use this for propaganda

00:16:36.360 purposes because an American diplomat is sitting here with you. And I get that. It is my job to let

00:16:43.220 you know that we want a different relationship. We're going to put America first. We want the

00:16:49.580 Venezuelans who are in our country illegally out. And there's a lot of them. And we want you to pay for 1.00

00:16:55.820 them and bring them back home. And I want our hostages and we want to go down this road of

00:17:00.580 getting back the Americans. And so the gift was a conversation, a hope of a different future 0.76

00:17:09.800 and an American diplomat sitting there. And I am very clear eyed that an American diplomat sitting

00:17:18.420 with Maduro is a controversial thing. But I have to say that I think that we have to be able to talk.

00:17:27.640 Talking is a tactic. It is not weakness. It is in the face of looking at someone else,

00:17:34.960 pushing for the American agenda and not backing down. And I think there was an individual from the

00:17:40.860 Biden administration on Twitter attacking me saying, oh, come on, they must have paid or switched

00:17:46.060 Venezuelan hostages for that. And I say, no, actually, we didn't. We're sending Venezuelans 1.00

00:17:53.180 back to Venezuela. And we are absolutely giving no money, no hostage switch. It's called diplomacy.

00:18:02.300 And it's what you do when you look at someone and you put America first and you make the arguments

00:18:07.120 that this is what America wants.

00:18:09.380 And when you know, they know you're not bluffing, that Trump will follow through on any

00:18:16.060 veil or explicit threats. And you have a boss who's alive, not afraid, and understands the power

00:18:23.540 of this great country. And you're exactly like him. So it's like they're dealing with a totally

00:18:28.800 different team than under Biden and, you know, with Blinken and Jake Sullivan. So that had to play

00:18:34.720 right. President Trump also recognizes that exact point. And so what we wanted to make clear on

00:18:43.040 Thursday night before I left, nobody knew I was going to Venezuela the next morning. But in the Oval

00:18:48.600 Office, we took a picture with President Trump. I then went to J.D. Vance's office and took a picture

00:18:53.580 and both of those, the president and the vice president, both those pictures were released

00:18:59.380 Thursday night and very early Friday morning to send a message that this is our guy without

00:19:05.700 actually saying anything specific.

00:19:09.060 Mm hmm. Oh, I like that. This must have been thrilling for you personally, Rick, on a number

00:19:13.980 of levels. Like when you got this title, did you know it was going to include things like this?

00:19:19.940 Well, I knew that there's a whole bunch of issues with Venezuela and we got to continue 1.00

00:19:24.200 tackling those, tackling those. We've got North Korea. We've now got the California federal

00:19:32.080 government's reaction to the fire. So I like to tell people, Megan, that I'm dealing with

00:19:36.860 Nicolas Maduro, Kim Jong-un and Gavin Newsom. I like the notion of I actually just tweeted this

00:19:44.960 out the other day about Scott Pressler, but it's going to work for you, too. I tweeted out something

00:19:48.580 like the scariest thing a politician in America used to be able to used to hear was Ronan Farrow's on

00:19:53.580 the phone. It's like doing some Me Too expose of you. But today it's Scott Pressler's here.

00:19:59.640 You know, this Republican activist who got tons of a million and a half Pennsylvanians registered

00:20:03.940 red this time around and is threatening the governor of New Jersey is going to do it there.

00:20:07.640 But you're kind of in that role where it's like, oh, God, Rick Grinella's here. You know,

00:20:13.220 you're going to be going to these hotspots, it sounds like, with the president's backing,

00:20:18.140 letting them know there's you may not love this visit, but you're really not going to like

00:20:22.840 the visit you get from my boss's team if it doesn't work out between us. This is a brilliant

00:20:27.160 pairing. I think this is a great way of using you. Let me steal a couple of minutes of your time.

00:20:32.740 And by the way, we're not officially releasing the name of the hostages, right? Is that true?

00:20:36.520 I mean, I saw a couple of the names in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal,

00:20:39.460 just so our audience is not wondering why we're not doing bios.

00:20:42.340 Yeah, we're not. I don't know exactly if all of them have contacted their families. They

00:20:47.040 have complicated issues. So I'm just not going to say their names.

00:20:50.760 OK, yeah, it's there's a couple of them are out there if you guys so desire, but we'll update

00:20:54.440 as the week goes on. OK, so let me ask you this while I have you yesterday. I think it was yesterday

00:20:59.260 or Saturday. It's all blending together now. Donald Trump posted the following this morning.

00:21:05.420 I ordered precision military airstrikes on the senior ISIS attack planner and other terrorists

00:21:12.020 he recruited and led in Somalia. These killers who we found hiding in caves threatened the U.S.

00:21:16.580 and our allies. The strikes destroyed the caves they live in and killed many terrorists without

00:21:20.960 in any way harming civilians. Our military has targeted this ISIS attack planner for years,

00:21:25.580 but Biden and his cronies wouldn't act quickly enough to get the job done. I did. The message to

00:21:30.140 ISIS and all others who would attack Americans is that in all caps, we will find you and we 1.00

00:21:35.320 will kill you. And then Trump himself posted today video of the attack, which we can see here. 0.99

00:21:42.740 Stand by. I mean, obviously, he's declassifying it by posting it himself in just what looks like

00:21:48.060 a pretty significant show of American firepower from the air. And now, Rick, there's a lot of

00:21:53.940 speculation about whether this is not only a message to any foreign terrorist, but perhaps one to the

00:22:01.060 drug cartels along the Mexican border who we've deemed foreign terrorists, that if they don't get

00:22:07.340 in line, they could be in a lot of trouble, just like the Somalia ISIS workers, that their threat over

00:22:14.380 the weekend to drone attack ICE agents is not being well received and they're messing with the wrong

00:22:22.540 first world nation. Your thoughts on all of it? Yeah. First of all, there are two different issues,

00:22:27.520 and I wouldn't blur them together, first of all, with Somalia. And actually, I would say a concern 0.68

00:22:34.200 until a few weeks ago in Syria as well. We've defeated Donald Trump defeated ISIS. And we watched

00:22:41.920 over the last four years with concern that ISIS may be trying to reconstitute. We've been very clear

00:22:50.020 that we will not let that happen. ISIS is a horrible terrorist organization that has really gone after 0.91

00:22:55.560 Christians. And so we've watched them very closely. And I think President Trump was very troubled by 0.96

00:23:02.240 even them beginning to organize to come back. And so we have to be able to do this to keep ISIS at bay.

00:23:12.080 This is the right thing to do. And we're watching where ISIS would begin to form in any possible way.

00:23:19.360 Separately, you know, President Trump is very credible when he talks about stopping fentanyl and

00:23:25.640 drugs coming into our country. And so I think every single narco terrorist, every single country or 0.99

00:23:33.440 individual or group that is facilitating drugs into our country, they should be on notice that Donald

00:23:39.780 Trump absolutely wants to stop them and he will use all force necessary.

00:23:43.900 I love the warning of it. And it was amazing because I think a lot of us have kind of forgotten about ISIS.

00:23:49.920 We thought Trump took care of that and like Biden have been took our eyes off that ball, though Biden's the

00:23:55.340 commander in chief or was and had an obligation to keep paying attention.

00:23:59.500 Marco Rubio went down on his first foreign international trip to Panama. I sat with him last week just as he was about

00:24:06.020 to depart. And he made clear that one of the main reasons, if not the main reason of going down there was the

00:24:11.600 growing influence of China in the canal, that when we gave the canal to Panama, it was explicit that they would 0.98

00:24:17.020 not allow it to fall under the control of another foreign entity and that it certainly shouldn't be 0.94

00:24:22.980 China and that what they're doing now is they're building all these sort of corporate concerns along the

00:24:28.720 Panama Canal that are owned by the Chinese that could be flipped like that into military strongholds. 0.92

00:24:33.860 So we're just not going to have it. And Trump has said, we want this canal back.

00:24:37.400 So Marco Rubio goes down there. Here's what he told me on Thursday.

00:24:42.560 In reality, if China wanted to obstruct traffic in the Panama Canal, they could. That's a fact. 0.97

00:24:50.660 And it's my view. That's a violation of the treaty agreement. And that's what President Trump is

00:24:54.380 raising. And we're going to address that topic. It's one of deep concern. That dynamic cannot continue.

00:24:59.240 It's not in the national interest of the United States to have a canal we paid for and we built

00:25:04.260 used as a as a leverage and a weapon against us. That can't happen. We built this thing. We paid for

00:25:10.020 it. Thousands of people died doing this. Americans. And somehow our naval vessels who go through there

00:25:16.820 and American shipping that goes through there pays rates, some cases higher than other countries are

00:25:22.340 paying or, you know, for example, a vessel from China. That's also not acceptable. But we should not be in a

00:25:28.380 position of having to pay more than other countries. In fact, we should be getting a discount or maybe

00:25:32.200 for free because we paid for the thing. So what we learned today is that the Financial Post is

00:25:39.920 reporting Panama promised free passage to U.S. warships. Rubio saying he was going to demand that.

00:25:46.600 He got it. And on top of that, the Panamanian president says he will not renew the Belt and

00:25:53.100 Road deal with China as we are demanding less influence that that that he said their sovereignty

00:26:00.160 is not up for debate. He doesn't want to give us the canal, but he said that they would not renew a

00:26:04.340 2017 memorandum of understanding to join China's overseas development initiative known as the Belt

00:26:09.060 and Road suggested that the deal with China could, in fact, even end early. All good. All great. That's a 1.00

00:26:16.700 W for us. But then the big the big boss weighed in just in case people were clear. Like, that's great.

00:26:22.800 But in here's what Trump said yesterday. It's not three. Secretary of State Rubio is in Panama,

00:26:30.280 Panama right now. And we're talking about the Panama Canal. What they've done is terrible.

00:26:36.040 They violated the agreement. They're not allowed to violate the agreement. China's running the Panama 1.00

00:26:42.020 Canal. That was not given to China. That was given to Panama foolishly. But they violated the 0.85

00:26:48.780 agreement. And we're going to take it back or something very powerful is going to happen.

00:26:54.860 OK, frame it up for us, Rick. What's happening here?

00:26:58.120 Well, first of all, big win from Secretary of State Marco Rubio for Donald Trump and for the

00:27:02.220 American people. But I think there's a lot more that that Secretary Rubio is going to deliver.

00:27:07.480 No one has been better on China than Marco Rubio. He has been clear eyed about their threat. And 0.94

00:27:14.020 he's very concerned of China's rise in Latin America, a region of the world that Marco Rubio

00:27:21.820 knows extremely well. And so it doesn't surprise us that that he's going to get these wins. But this

00:27:27.000 is just the beginning for the Western Hemisphere and Marco Rubio and and defeating China. He is very

00:27:33.340 clear eyed on this. President Trump wants us to all work on these issues. And so I think this is only

00:27:39.620 the beginning. China and Russia have infiltrated not only through the Belt and Road Initiative in

00:27:46.920 Eastern Europe, a place that I know well, but through Latin America and Central America. It's a huge

00:27:53.200 concern. We've got to defeat them. It's some of the same issues in Venezuela. And so what what we need to

00:27:59.740 be able to recognize is that this is an administration that is going to concentrate on

00:28:04.700 America, what's best for America. We're not working for other countries. We're working for America and

00:28:10.440 Americans. And when we're working around the world, we're trying to make sure that American businesses

00:28:16.400 flourish. Americans are protected. All of these America first doctrines are what we have in mind.

00:28:24.640 And I'm reminded watching Kristi Noem at the border this morning. You see J.D. Vance absolutely

00:28:32.520 going back and and figuring out what went wrong in Ohio, Palestine, Ohio. And so you really have a

00:28:41.700 team of people that are focused on America and Americans. And I love it. The last question. And by the

00:28:47.420 way, speaking of Kristi Noem and Venezuela, the Trump administration also ended temporary immigration

00:28:52.320 program, the temporary immigration program for hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans.

00:28:56.780 She revoked one of two temporary protected status designations for Venezuela. It's by far the biggest

00:29:02.480 of its kind, protecting more than 600,000 migrants from deportation. So no more. We're saying you do not

00:29:11.580 have temporary protected status. You got to go home, go back to Venezuela. And thanks to Rick

00:29:17.200 Pennell, President Maduro is going to fly you back home. You're going to go see mom. Good luck with

00:29:23.380 that. Last quick question before we go. Elon's all over Twitter saying that he has shut down USAID,

00:29:29.440 this this organization that they say they're they're running like humanitarian aid and other

00:29:35.580 benevolent programs for foreign aid groups that that we support. And Elon saying he held out Twitter

00:29:42.200 spaces last night at midnight saying that thing is so corrupt. The money is being totally mismanaged.

00:29:48.540 It's not that there was a worm in the apple, he said. It's that all we found were worms. And the

00:29:53.900 workers who work for USAID got a notification last night. Don't come to work. Stay at home. You're on

00:29:58.720 paid leave. And there's a question about whether this thing is even opening its doors. Why should

00:30:03.400 Americans care? And what do you make of the freak out on the left about this?

00:30:07.240 Well, look, this is a very complicated issue because we clearly in putting America first want

00:30:13.600 to not waste our tax dollars. And USAID has been wasting our tax dollars. Just look for yourself

00:30:19.360 at all of the different programs they've been spending money on. It will outrage you.

00:30:25.640 J.D. Vance has been put in charge of this and he will figure it out. There might be some core parts

00:30:32.060 that need to go back under the State Department. But I think that's what J.D. Vance is going to figure out.

00:30:38.140 The the problem is it's become a left wing organization that just funds its favorite

00:30:44.280 causes. There is a report out today about how Bill Kristol set up some group that's through

00:30:49.560 some back end gets money from USAID unconfirmed. He does not appear to have denied it yet, but I'll

00:30:55.600 check. So we're funding these left wing groups through the Biden administration under the auspices

00:31:00.500 of like we're going to help the sick and the poor in Africa and winds up in the back pocket

00:31:04.380 of somebody like Bill Kristol. It's a no. At a minimum, it deserves to be to get a hard second

00:31:09.900 look and to stop the funding until we can figure out, as President Trump infamously once said,

00:31:14.420 what the hell is going on? Rick Grinnell, thank you so much. And congrats. What a huge victory for us

00:31:20.280 all. All the best. Thank you. Wow. It's amazing. I'll look at like it truly is so much winning,

00:31:26.340 right? Are you tired of all the winning? I'm not tired of all the winning. I mean, think about it

00:31:29.960 like these six to 12 guys are languishing in Venezuela. And the reason it was a win for Maduro

00:31:36.460 to sit with Rick is because we haven't recognized that government. You know, they're there. He lost

00:31:41.380 the election, but he wouldn't leave. And so are we weren't recognizing him. But, you know,

00:31:46.640 he's not leaving and we have Americans stranded there. And what Rick is saying is that the mere

00:31:51.660 fact that he was willing to be seen on camera with him is a win for the guy. And does that really cost

00:31:56.220 us so much to get back our people? And by the way, to have him willingly take back his people who are

00:32:02.540 far worse than our people we're talking about here, six to 12 Americans who appear to have been falsely 0.99

00:32:07.960 accused versus hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans who are in part gang members committing crimes in

00:32:13.820 America. There's a lot happening. We're going to get into more of this when Stu Berger joins us

00:33:41.600 In addition to all the foreign policy news that's happening today, and there's a lot of it,

00:33:45.880 you've got the tariff situation where Trump got all this negative news coverage over the weekend

00:33:52.380 because he threatened, he said, as of Saturday, he said, I am jacking up tariffs on Canadian goods by 25%,

00:33:58.800 Mexico by 25% and China by 10% because he'd already raised the tariffs on China, which Joe Biden then

00:34:05.480 kept in place after criticizing Trump for the tariffs, but kept them because they were working.

00:34:13.140 And Trump said they're going into effect on Tuesday. It's happening. I want a better fair trade

00:34:19.260 situation with Canada and some crackdown on the border. And I want a serious crackdown on the Mexican 1.00

00:34:25.200 border from the Mexicans. Well, you know, cue the Harry Enten segment over on CNN about how many 0.98

00:34:32.360 people do not want this. They're very against the tariffs. Okay. I think the average person doesn't

00:34:38.560 think about tariffs at all. It doesn't, maybe doesn't even fully appreciate what it is. They've

00:34:42.520 just been told by every media outlet left and right that this is a colossally bad idea. Go find the media

00:34:48.900 outlet that's going to explain why this is a clever idea such that both parties wound up agreeing to it.

00:34:54.480 Trump than Biden, when it comes to China, that's not out there. Anyway, Mexico is already caved and

00:35:01.840 we get the news this morning that Mexico has agreed to put 10,000 troops along the Southern border.

00:35:10.140 In addition to other measures, which I will pull up and go over in one second,

00:35:14.640 but what do you make just of the overall posturing of this thing and where we are after 48 hours?

00:35:19.460 It really is incredible. These things move really quickly in the Trump world. You know,

00:35:24.520 I think in a vacuum, I'm not a huge fan of tariffs either. Like I, you know, their tariffs are attacks

00:35:29.260 and they do tend to do some economic damage. They raise prices. Donald Trump talked about that very

00:35:35.520 specifically and said, you know, we could be seeing some short-term harm from this, but long-term he

00:35:41.440 thinks it's going to be worth it. What I think is kind of fascinating about the way everyone's reacted over

00:35:46.160 this particular round of tariffs is it, we're all kind of acting like we weren't here for the first

00:35:52.460 term. Like the first term, a lot of this was talked about as well. Some of it went into place. Some of

00:35:58.320 it was more targeted than initially proposed. And some of it wound up just being what most of, I think

00:36:03.800 these threats are from Donald Trump, which are negotiating tactics. We all know how Donald Trump

00:36:08.160 operates. And he puts something like this out there, a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico.

00:36:13.500 And within two days, he's already got a giant chunk of what he wanted to get done

00:36:18.800 and a month delay. And the month delay in these tariffs indicates he wants more. He hasn't had

00:36:25.840 everything that he wants yet, but he's giving them a little bit of time to come across those lines so

00:36:30.600 that these things don't have to go into place. And he is just able to do this in a way that I think

00:36:37.180 is central to his overall philosophy that we don't need to apologize for being Americans. We don't need

00:36:42.740 to apologize for being a global superpower. You saw this with Panama, your great interview with

00:36:48.140 Rick just a few minutes ago. Like Panama, the Panama Canal is in the hands of Panama because we all kind

00:36:54.100 of felt bad. The Carter administration was like, oh, we don't want to be colonialists. You guys can

00:36:58.700 have this incredibly valuable thing that we built with our blood and treasure. You can just have it.

00:37:04.700 And Donald Trump is turning that around and saying, we don't need to apologize for being Americans.

00:37:08.480 We're going to be aggressive. We're going to stand for what we actually believe in and try to turn

00:37:12.180 around these agreements that we have with these other countries that are not beneficial to us.

00:37:17.320 America first kind of playing out in real time.

00:37:20.480 Mm hmm. The Mexican president said this is via the New York Times that the 10,000 Mexican National

00:37:27.240 Guard troops being sent to the border would be pulled from other parts of the country and would

00:37:32.120 be in addition to security forces already there. She said it was important for humanitarian reasons

00:37:37.500 for Mexico to help control the flow of fentanyl into the United States. And she said there was a

00:37:42.640 plan to deploy the troops immediately. I mean, who in their right mind thinks that's a bad idea,

00:37:49.980 right? There's this isn't the whole ballgame, but that's a concession that was gotten within hours of

00:37:56.740 Saturday's announcement by Trump that he meant business on these tariffs and he actually was going

00:38:01.940 to do it. Um, then you've get, you get Trudeau up in Canada who starts off by saying, Oh, we used to be

00:38:10.700 really good friends and we've helped you out a lot. It's like the first stages of grief, you know,

00:38:16.500 denial. What do you mean? We used to, we go back a long way. And then he says, um, I want to tell you

00:38:22.540 that less, less than 1% of fentanyl, less than 1% of illegal crossings into the United States

00:38:27.500 come from Canada. We're not your number one problem, but hearing concerns from both Canadians 1.00

00:38:32.520 and Americans, we launched a $1.3 billion border plan. Great. Thank you. It's a start. It's not

00:38:41.580 going to end the deal, but it's a start. Uh, political reported on Friday that a source said

00:38:47.160 Trump's commerce secretary nominee has asked for proof of these efforts regarding Canada's $1.3 billion

00:38:52.520 border plan. Apparently they don't believe that Trudeau's actually doing this or actually

00:38:57.360 about to do this, but they announced it. And right now they too are facing a 25% tariff on

00:39:05.260 some $30 billion of us goods starting Tuesday. It will ramp up to $125 billion worth of goods

00:39:11.920 in 21 days. If they don't do what Trump wants, which I think goes beyond just this, this, um,

00:39:19.040 $1.3 billion border plan. But it's very interesting because I don't see a ton of positive coverage

00:39:25.860 for president Trump across the same outlets today on how it's working. Yeah, it is working. Um, you

00:39:34.840 know, often I, you know, I, when I talk to my daughter about cleaning her room, I will tell her,

00:39:39.300 I don't expect you to be perfect. I just want you to care. I want you to actually care. That's all I'm

00:39:46.080 asking. And I feel like that's all we're asking of like a Mexico, right? You don't, we understand that 0.99

00:39:51.500 you're not going to be able to stop every single person coming across the border. We have to have

00:39:55.160 security on our side for that reason. Right. But you have to actually care. You can't be encouraging

00:39:59.820 people. You can't be telling people that, you know, go to the border and please send back all 0.99

00:40:04.480 the money to our country. You can't be letting people from your Southern border traverse through 1.00

00:40:08.760 your entire nation without stopping them as they go to our border. That's a basic ask. And that's why,

00:40:14.880 you know, look, tariffs as an economic policy, definitely not my favorite thing, but it is,

00:40:20.800 everyone knows that, right? We know that it kind of can do some damage to both sides.

00:40:24.900 What our argument is as the big boys on the block is to say that, look, we know that the damage that

00:40:30.020 it will do to you is a lot worse than it's going to do to us. So we will sit here and we will wait

00:40:33.940 you out. If we have to, we'd like to get to a place. And Trump has talked about this in the past.

00:40:38.280 We'd love to get to a place where there was none of this stuff. There were no tariffs at all.

00:40:41.340 Everyone was free trading. Everyone was dealing with each other fairly.

00:40:44.140 We're not there. And I think it's largely because of the stance America has had for

00:40:49.720 seemingly a generation of being sorry for who we are. You know, I listened to your interview with

00:40:56.620 Marco Rubio, Megan, the other day. And at one point you said, you know, these are smaller countries.

00:41:01.260 The argument is that we can, sure, we can bully around Columbia. And Marco Rubio is like, ah, you

00:41:05.880 know, I don't want to call it bullying. It wasn't, it's not bullying. I mean, you don't have to call it

00:41:10.860 that. But we are sort of big boying the rest of the world right now. And that's okay. Like,

00:41:18.120 that's a good thing. It's a place we should get back to. We shouldn't be unfair to people.

00:41:24.380 We shouldn't be unfair to other countries. We shouldn't just terrorize them for the sake

00:41:28.240 of the pleasure. But what we should be able to do is stand on our values, prioritize our own citizens

00:41:35.660 and the economy they have to deal with and the safety and crime situation that they have to deal

00:41:40.700 with on a daily basis and say, look, we'll work with you to stop these problems, but you have to

00:41:46.160 care about it a little bit. And right now it doesn't look like you do.

00:41:49.700 And so we'll make you care. If you don't care, we'll get your money involved in this game. And

00:41:55.320 then you will care. You'll care a lot because right now most products from Canada and Mexico into

00:42:00.520 the United States face no tariffs. So this is a big change. If we slap on this 25% tariff to most

00:42:07.380 of their goods, we did make an exclusion on, I think it was Canadian energy. It's down. It's a 10%

00:42:12.780 tariff. Crude oil from Canada would suffer only a 10% charge, which the New York times points out

00:42:18.800 appears to be a tacit acknowledgement by Trump. The tariffs might translate into higher gas taxes or gas

00:42:24.380 prices. He understands what he's doing. Trump himself tweeted out, will there be some pain?

00:42:30.560 Yes, maybe, and maybe not, but we will make America great again, and it will all be worth

00:42:35.080 the price that must be paid. We're a country that is now being run with common sense and the results

00:42:39.960 will be spectacular. He said the tariff lobby headed by the globalist and always wrong Wall Street

00:42:46.880 Journal is working hard to justify countries like Canada, Mexico, China, and too many others

00:42:51.060 to name, too many others to name, uh, to continue the decades long ripoff of America. We're not going to

00:42:57.100 be the stupid country any longer. And he's all, it seems to be, he's asking Americans to understand 1.00

00:43:02.400 maybe there will be some short-term pain in some areas, but trust me, it's for long-term gain. Um,

00:43:09.800 and here's just the latest here. Okay, hold on. Um,

00:43:14.320 yeah. Okay. So I mentioned the news media. Here's, here's how they're spinning the breakthrough.

00:43:20.880 New York times made a headline right now. Mexico reaches deal with us to delay Trump tariffs.

00:43:25.820 There's no mention whatsoever of the fact that they're about to send 10,000 troops

00:43:29.200 to the border to help with the illegal problem, the fentanyl problem to Washington post does mention

00:43:34.660 it. They say U S U S tariffs on Mexico delayed as country agrees to rush 10,000 troops to the border.

00:43:39.660 NBC news, not surprisingly makes no mention of it. Trump and Mexico's presidents say tariffs will be

00:43:44.100 delayed for one month after talks, not important enough to put the 10,000 troops in the headline.

00:43:50.180 And that's why I mentioned the Harry Enten thing. I'm, I'm, I know this guy is just taking polling

00:43:54.340 numbers and putting them on TV, but there's a reason that the vast majority of Americans I think are

00:43:59.580 against Trump on the tariffs because truly the left doesn't want tariffs, the wall street journal

00:44:05.460 and the Rupert Murdoch types don't want tariffs. It's really just sort of the core MAGA group that

00:44:11.780 is a, that is in favor of them. And some group of the left that has been more, you know, against

00:44:17.240 free trade and more in favor of quote, fair trade for some time. But here's what I referenced with

00:44:22.520 the Harry Enten thing. Watch Trump's tariffs on Canada, China, Mexico. Look at this, just 38% support.

00:44:30.760 You don't have to be a mathematical genius to figure out that 51% oppose is larger than the 38% support.

00:44:38.480 Look, Trump has done some fairly popular things in his first few weeks in office. This is not one of them.

00:44:43.940 No, no, no. Horrible, horrible, horrible to quote Charles Barkley. The American folks are opposed to these tariffs.

00:44:52.260 Take a look at weekly Google searches for tariffs. Look how much higher they are versus a year ago.

00:44:57.360 They're up 2,400%. That reaches a 21 year high. You know, folks are paying attention when there are

00:45:03.020 more Google searches for that than for Taylor Swift, who almost always is in the top of Google

00:45:07.000 search. There were more Google searches for tariffs than Taylor Swift. Correct.

00:45:11.860 Oh, well, that's promising. But by the way, so where will you wait over the next 24 hours and see if

00:45:17.740 there's a $1.3 billion guarantee from Canada to crack down on border security and 10,000 troops

00:45:22.460 flooding to the border right now in Mexico to crack down on border security in response to Trump's

00:45:27.120 tariff plan? See if that winds its way into your local paper and the headlines, America, because

00:45:33.080 they won't.

00:45:34.160 Yeah, no, that's not that you're not going to hear much about that. You know, and I like Harry

00:45:40.660 Antoinette. Generally, he does some good work, actually, at CNN, as opposed to some others over

00:45:45.140 there. But I you know, look, you look at a poll on tariffs, you're not going to get the entire

00:45:50.400 picture. I don't think I mean, I am again, I don't I don't like them. I would be in that 51%.

00:45:55.140 Generally speaking, some targeted tariffs at times have been beneficial. But we do see prices go up. I mean,

00:46:01.100 we we raised tariffs on washing machines years ago, by 25%. And the price for washing machines went up

00:46:08.940 25%. And people had to pay more for that. Sometimes that can be worth it, especially if it's targeted in

00:46:14.420 one way. But like, I don't even think that's what we're talking about here. You know, tariffs as a

00:46:18.440 policy are one thing. And you can look at that and see what the negative consequences are. And some of

00:46:24.480 the positive consequences. Really, what it is, though, is negative consequences for both sides,

00:46:29.140 and who can kind of outstand withstand the the heat that comes from that. But more here is what we're

00:46:35.060 seeing, like the best case scenario is what's happening with Mexico right now. The tariff didn't

00:46:39.100 even go into effect. He just said it. That was him just saying a thing. And because he said a thing,

00:46:45.500 and people act Thank you, Megan, people actually believed him for once, it wasn't an empty threat,

00:46:51.200 people knew he wanted to do this and would do it if he had to. And because of that, we're starting to get

00:46:56.480 the things that we should have already been receiving anyway. Mexico should have been taking 0.99

00:47:00.400 this situation seriously on the border before all of this. And this is a great commercial to

00:47:05.860 everybody who's out there running for Mexico. None, none. They should double the number 10,000.

00:47:11.940 They're the source of so many of our problems. They dumped the worst criminals who come up through

00:47:16.000 their country into the United States. They allow their drug cartels to run wild at the southern border

00:47:20.480 and are largely responsible for the the coyotes and the trafficking of the people into the United 0.88

00:47:24.980 States. Zero sympathy for Mexico. By the way, targeted tariffs are are at times terrific is

00:47:31.800 great alliteration by Euster Berger. Here's a thread that was on Twitter by Melissa Chen, who is

00:47:37.740 a commentator. I don't exactly know what she writes at the spectator and elsewhere, but she's a smart

00:47:44.080 commentator. And I've seen her on Rogan and elsewhere. And she's always worth listening to. And she

00:47:49.240 she did a little thread on the what we're doing with respect to trade and China. All right. This

00:47:55.460 is just one example. Again, the Chinese tariffs are only going up 10 percent because we already jacked

00:47:59.580 them. But let me give you a flavor for what Trump is doing here. He's paying attention.

00:48:06.300 Timu, Shine and all these tacky, fast fashion companies that sell mostly crap have long relied on 0.87

00:48:12.960 an unfair and unwarranted trade advantage versus the United States. They have long been beneficiaries of 0.79

00:48:17.620 what's called the de minimis loophole. This loophole allows goods to be shipped directly from overseas

00:48:22.880 to American consumers so long as the value of each package is under $800 American without any customs

00:48:28.740 declaration. It's cheap, direct, untaxed and unregulated. It's a law that's existed since the

00:48:33.720 1930s, long before the Internet. Last year, the U.S. received a billion packages from China

00:48:39.000 through this loophole. CPB cannot possibly inspect the items at scale. So things do slip through the

00:48:44.140 cracks, unsafe items, knockoffs, products made with forced labor from China and, yes, 1.00

00:48:48.640 chemicals that are used to make fentanyl. To put things in context, in 2022,

00:48:53.660 Gap, the Gap, paid $700 million while H&M paid $200 million in import taxes. Timu,

00:48:59.140 this company, paid zero. Free trade, she writes, is not free. It's flooding our markets with cheap,

00:49:05.060 crappy, potentially toxic goods, gutting our own retail markets and allowing unsavory foreign 1.00

00:49:09.680 competitors to exploit loopholes and gain unfair competitive advantages over retailers who have

00:49:14.820 to play by the rule because of geography. Now we've closed it and Trump shut down these

00:49:19.720 de minimis entries from China. Effective Tuesday. It's just, he's never even going to get credit for

00:49:26.080 these things, Stu. They're too small. People aren't paying attention. But he's clearly got a both guns

00:49:31.260 blazing approach to what used to be lauded by the Republican Party as free trade. But free trade

00:49:37.220 hasn't, is not working for a lot of Americans. Yeah. Make free trade free, I think is a great

00:49:42.900 way to go. And this is part of it. And I will say, I only once ordered from one of those companies,

00:49:47.620 a workout shirt. It was like $2.99. And I did not think there was a way to make me look worse in the

00:49:52.320 gym than I already do. It never works out. But that did it. Never works out. Do not order your 0.99

00:49:57.220 clothing from China. Double check. Make sure it's made in America. Stu stays with us. Don't go away. 1.00

00:51:10.420 with the numeral four, cars4kids.org slash MK to donate your car today.

00:51:15.480 So, Stu, the polls have made absolutely clear that a clear and hearty majority of Americans want to see

00:51:28.120 all illegals in this country deported. Not just the criminals, not just the really, really bad ones, 1.00

00:51:34.840 all, all, between 55 and 62 to 63 percent, depending on which poll you look at. Okay,

00:51:41.900 so that's a majority of Americans. That's not just Republicans. Notwithstanding that,

00:51:48.000 Governor Phil Murphy of New Jersey, who's about to be Scott Pressler'd, and I am here for it,

00:51:54.320 as the kids say. Go, Scott, go. New Jersey ought to be red, and large portions of it are red. Just go

00:52:01.020 to Atlantic City and take a look at the Trump signage. Decides to give an interview and offer up

00:52:08.280 the following little tidbit. Listen here. Tammy and I were talking about, I don't want to get

00:52:14.880 into too much detail, but there's someone in our broader universe whose immigration status is not

00:52:23.020 yet at the point that they are trying to get it to. And we said, you know what? Let's have her live 1.00

00:52:29.960 at our house above our garage. And good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her. 1.00

00:52:37.600 Whoa. So he doesn't explicitly say that she's illegal, but obviously she is if he's presuming

00:52:44.220 the feds would come to get her. And the only thing that would stop them from being successful

00:52:50.300 is Governor Murphy. That's extraordinary. He's harboring an illegal in his garage apartment and

00:52:59.740 is bragging about it, Stu, in, again, a country whose clear majority wants all illegals gone. So 0.59

00:53:08.040 should our friend Tom Homan and his friends swing by the New Jersey governor's home and see what's up

00:53:16.360 above his garage? I sure hope Tom Homan and Donald Trump hear that because that certainly sounded like

00:53:23.000 a challenge to me. You know, I was playing a little game of chicken and I, after watching what this

00:53:29.200 president is doing around the world right now, I don't think I'd want to challenge him to that

00:53:34.280 particular game. Seems like a losing venture. You know, I feel like, you know, you mentioned the polls

00:53:39.480 of the American people. They see this, I think, in the same way. I know that when I drive home every

00:53:47.000 day, if I roll through a freaking stop sign, there just always happens to be a police officer there to

00:53:52.440 remind me that that's not actually allowed. If I go a few miles an hour over the speed limit,

00:53:56.880 they are there to make sure that I know I'm not following that rule. And yet we're supposed to just

00:54:02.080 accept that people cross the border, make a major life decision like that against our laws, 0.98

00:54:07.940 and set up life here for years and years and decades and have families and generations.

00:54:14.240 They're not following the rules. They either have to have some sort of legal ID or fake ID,

00:54:19.180 or they're not paying taxes, most likely, certainly other crimes being committed. But like that is

00:54:24.640 something I think the American people see is like, hey, if you're breaking the rules,

00:54:28.060 there should be a consequence to that. We shouldn't be treating you unfairly, but we should be treating you

00:54:32.540 like everybody else gets treated. That's how I feel like I'm going to get treated. I mean,

00:54:36.000 unless you're Hunter Biden, it seems like when you commit a crime, you usually have

00:54:39.180 some consequences to it. And so I'm not surprised the American people feel that way. It's only

00:54:45.760 rational to feel that way. And if you're Phil Murphy, if you think that you can stand up and

00:54:50.880 essentially say to the country, screw you, we don't care what you think about our laws. 0.61

00:54:56.480 This is a law I don't like. And so therefore I will break it and I will be so out there. I will 0.68

00:55:02.660 tell you about it on television and expect nothing to happen to me. That is not a society that has a

00:55:10.160 civilized rule of law. That's exactly right. Honestly, I'm a homeowner in New Jersey,

00:55:15.360 but maybe I should just stop paying my state taxes on the home. And that, you know, I just dare you,

00:55:20.040 Phil Murphy, you think he'd let me get away with just flouting the law because Megyn Kelly doesn't like 0.79

00:55:23.900 it. She doesn't agree with it. This is outrageous. They absolutely should go and collect that woman 1.00

00:55:29.180 and they should make an example of her. I don't mean hurt her. I just mean, get her out of the 0.57

00:55:33.640 country among the first deportations. And that will teach a lesson to Phil Murphy and anybody else

00:55:38.460 who's got great ideas about waving in our face, their flouting of the law, how that's going to go

00:55:43.240 for them. I mean, thanks. Thanks for letting us know on the bright side. We now have a great roadmap

00:55:48.580 for exactly how to get this one, but he had to be ashamed of himself. Um, his party is a hot mess,

00:55:56.140 right? Even though the vast majority of Americans are, are over illegal immigration and this open

00:56:01.800 border, and they're very over girls in, uh, having to deal with boys in their sports. By the way,

00:56:06.900 we have an exclusive at the end of the show with Senator Tommy Tuberville, who's going to be talking

00:56:11.000 about who in the Senate is blocking the Senate from taking a vote on the protection of girls and women

00:56:15.640 in sports bill because the house passed this thing and the Republicans control the Senate and it's

00:56:21.780 being blocked and he's prepared to name names. That's in our segment right after Stu. But so the vast

00:56:27.520 majority of the American public is on our side on these issues, but the Democrats come together this

00:56:33.140 past weekend to, to elect their new leaders. They have no leaders. Kamala's gone. Biden's gone in more

00:56:38.220 ways than one. They have no leaders. And this is the clip that's going everywhere, which shows you

00:56:44.360 what they care about. This is how, well, let me start with this. There's two, um, Jonathan Capehart,

00:56:51.160 this far left guy who has a show on MSNBC. He starts by asking this question. And for the

00:56:57.020 listening audience, every single person on the panel raises their hand. These are all the candidates

00:57:00.600 for the head of DNC. It's top 16. How many of you believe that racism and misogyny played a role

00:57:08.280 in vice president Harris's defeat? Okay. So that's good. You all pass.

00:57:20.880 You all passed. Jonathan Capehart will decide why Kamala Harris lost. And then they elect a white guy.

00:57:31.620 They elected a white guy, Stu. It's been like 12 years or something before they ever,

00:57:36.260 but the reason this guy, Ken Martin got elected as a white guy, I would submit is because of repeated

00:57:42.060 statements like this one he offered in 2019. Sot 14 here. So I have to admit that I have my own white

00:57:49.220 privilege here and, uh, but that doesn't prevent me from seeing, uh, the phobias that exist throughout

00:57:56.000 our communities, uh, both in Minnesota and frankly, throughout this country. Okay. But he got elected

00:58:03.500 as chair, David Hogg, the far left kid who was part of the Stoneman, um, school shooting. He was

00:58:12.340 there. He was a student down in Florida when that happened at Parkland. Um, who is just, I mean,

00:58:17.860 with all due respect to that terrible experience, he is truly one of the most annoying leftists on

00:58:22.280 Twitter. He is truly hateful, very nasty, does not understand there's a second amendment in this 0.97

00:58:26.920 country and that he doesn't get to rewrite it with his eraser. Um, he wins vice chair. So now you got 0.97

00:58:32.000 two white guys, two, two, and the DNC chair, Jamie Harrison, I guess, outgoing tries to explain that

00:58:40.900 this has thrown things into chaos because they have quotas. They have bare minimums for non-binaries 1.00

00:58:48.160 as, uh, as, as part of DNC leadership, which I guess neither of these guys is. Listen to Sod 18.

00:58:56.180 Rules specify that when we have a gender non-binary candidate or officer,

00:59:01.520 the non-binary individual is counted as neither male nor female in the remaining six offices must

00:59:08.340 be gender balanced. In order to be gender balanced, we must, uh, we must select, uh, one male, one female,

00:59:19.800 and one person of any gender. We have to elect one male, one female, and one person of any gender.

00:59:27.900 To ensure our process accounts for male, female, and non-binary candidates, we conferred with our RBC

00:59:34.760 co-chair, our LGBT caucus co-chair and others to ensure that the process is inclusive and meets

00:59:40.860 the gender balance requirements in our rules.

00:59:44.960 It's very hard. If you have a quota for neither males nor females and for the listening audience

00:59:54.000 on the screen, the entire time he was reading that is this little like pronoun primer that reads

01:00:00.920 there's Zim there. Her, Z, she, his. Zay, they, them, Zim. Hers, Zay, him, he. I refuse. Fuck off, DNC.

01:00:13.920 Those are not real words nor real pronouns. There's no such thing as a Z or a Zay or a Zim. And that's 1.00

01:00:22.040 why they're having such difficulty finding the right balance because they require it at the leadership

01:00:27.240 level still. Well, it's hard to get to find the right people when you've created a totally, totally

01:00:32.920 new type of person that you have to somehow fit into your quota. It's got to be difficult. I could

01:00:38.660 see the challenge there. Totally. I have two reactions to this. One is I put on my American hat

01:00:45.240 and I look at this and I think this is very disconcerting and terrible because it would be

01:00:51.240 great if we had an opposition that may very well get back into power someday that had some level of

01:00:58.500 sanity that maybe they saw how things went over this past election and reacted to it and said,

01:01:04.120 hey, maybe we shouldn't go down these roads anymore. It would be great that if, you know,

01:01:08.020 we lost an election, uh, the other side wasn't so crazy as to throw us this far off track every time

01:01:13.660 they win. The other part of me just really wants conservative candidates to win. And I, my eyes light up

01:01:20.040 when I see stuff like this, they've learned absolutely nothing. They are just as ridiculous 1.00

01:01:26.020 and, uh, and, and terrible with this stuff as they were before they got slaughtered in this election. 0.99

01:01:32.240 So you'd think a moment like that would make you have a, a bit of self-reflection, Megan,

01:01:37.500 but apparently not. No. And the reports coming out of there were just as delicious. So, uh,

01:01:43.440 the headline today is in the, or actually yesterday, the wall street journal, uh, Democrats have a new

01:01:47.800 leader, but have not come to grips with failure. They quote Adam Frisch, a Colorado Democrat who

01:01:53.420 lost his house race in November to now Republican representative Jeff heard as saying as follows

01:01:59.680 20 big cities, Aspen and Martha's vineyards. That's what's left of the democratic party.

01:02:07.160 And I'm not exactly sure those 20 big cities are getting the best version of the democratic party.

01:02:12.380 Z Zim Zay. You don't, you don't think so, Adam, I think you might be right. Here's some more color 0.87

01:02:17.520 from that whole debacle. Um, okay. New York times headline coming out of that meeting was

01:02:23.680 no coherent message. Dems struggle to oppose Trump. They point out that, um, a Quinnipiac

01:02:31.920 university poll conducted the week after Trump took office, found that 57% of voters viewed the

01:02:37.940 democratic party unfavorably. That is the highest level since 2008. They did more than 50 interviews

01:02:44.680 with democratic leaders. They broadly agree that they need to do more to address issues like

01:02:48.760 grocery costs, inflation, and immigration, but there is little consensus on how, or even whether

01:02:54.280 to prioritize the party's traditional concerns like abortion rights, LGBTQ equality, and climate change.

01:03:03.280 Um, there's a quote in here from representative Jasmine Crockett, democratic Texas. 0.98

01:03:06.900 This guy, meaning Trump is psychotic and there's so much, but everything that underlies it is white supremacy 0.99

01:03:14.120 and hate. And last but not least, this little ditty from Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy, you have to 1.00

01:03:20.460 portray a sense of alarm and urgency, or people will continue to believe that the country will be okay.

01:03:27.620 So they have no idea what the messaging should be. They know they've, they're, they're not dumb enough 0.96

01:03:33.940 to believe that the identity politics help them. They, they have got to see the polling showing 0.98

01:03:39.180 it's crushing them, but it's too strong a strain. The party has this malignant tumor that's in it

01:03:49.160 that loves DEI and equity and identity politics at every turn. And they, they can't excise it still.

01:03:58.440 It is. It's a puzzle that they can't put together. I mean, they, they really don't know how even to

01:04:03.960 attack it again. Maybe if you had that real moment of self-reflection, you might be able to find a

01:04:08.760 path. But if you think about the incentives of not only activist politics, but also the internet,

01:04:14.120 it's really hard for a party that has kind of crazy views and goes to the American people and says

01:04:20.340 these crazy views and, and locks you in with that sort of maniacal purity test that they've been

01:04:25.440 putting people on over the years. How do you unwind that? You know, I mean, look at, you know,

01:04:30.700 you look at someone like John Fetterman, who again is a Democrat who says democratic things in

01:04:35.780 both democratic ways, 90% of the time, but just occasionally comes out with something that I would

01:04:41.460 call rational. He's treated as a villain for that. They've excised every pro life Democrat from the

01:04:49.480 party. They're all gone at this point. Um, and they have so many different problems here. It's

01:04:57.100 not just DEI and it's not just all, all the things that we've been talking about here. I mean, you

01:05:01.280 mentioned Phil Murphy, go back to Phil Murphy's performance during COVID. I mean, he is one of

01:05:05.780 the only guys that could challenge Andrew Cuomo for level of incompetence. Uh, and what do they do

01:05:13.080 with these people? They reward them. Andrew Cuomo is probably going to be the next mayor of New York

01:05:16.020 city. So they don't know. You don't think so against it? I realized, no, I mean, I, he might

01:05:21.820 be, but I, I'm not, I refuse. I'm going to work against him. He helped kill 15,000 New Yorkers

01:05:31.700 with his inane orders to put sick patients into nursing homes and did not let them test them for 0.95

01:05:38.520 COVID. Then he tried to lie and cover that up when he got caught. It's insanity to put this guy back

01:05:45.860 in power. Just ask our mutual pal, Janice Dean, New Yorkers. Your memory cannot be that short.

01:05:54.380 Sorry. Keep going. Oh, you can keep going on that strain forever. If it's up to me, Megan,

01:06:00.640 it deserves to be said he was, uh, he terrorized the entire state during this period and went on TV

01:06:08.580 and acted. Yeah, he is legitimately a villain. Um, and I will say too, less attention because I think

01:06:15.400 of generally Cuomo being such an arrogant jerk on top of it, less attention went to Phil Murphy, 0.96

01:06:20.440 but he did many of the same things during that period. He got almost no heat for it, but like, 0.99

01:06:26.260 he did get some attention from the voters of, of New Jersey who made his, his reelection a lot

01:06:31.660 closer. We're seeing elections in New Jersey get much, much closer. We went through a period. I mean,

01:06:37.000 my entire life analyzing politics and I have to do like, you know, I have to call the States and do all

01:06:41.000 political predictions over here at the blaze. And as I go through that process, the entire,

01:06:45.140 my entire life, there was always one poll in New Jersey that showed it kind of close and

01:06:48.740 gave Republicans a little hope. And then when election day would come, you'd of course have

01:06:53.820 your, your, uh, your hopes and dreams, uh, thwarted. Yeah. I think for the first time,

01:06:58.700 New Jersey is in play. You mentioned what Scott Pressler is doing. This stuff is actually happening

01:07:02.800 now. And the American people are sick of what they've been getting. And if the Democrats don't wake

01:07:08.840 up, they will turn into a party that's just completely irrelevant in a lot of places in

01:07:14.240 this country. And I, you know, frankly, I think that's a good outcome for the future of the nation,

01:07:19.680 but it is one they really have to face right now. They're already a national joke. I mean,

01:07:25.840 they're, they're, you know, it's like the sad kid at, you know, the parties in high school who

01:07:32.640 runs and tells the teacher every time he sees somebody misbehave who really doesn't have a lot of

01:07:38.020 friends, but he's not like the lovable nerd. He's like the turn States evidence douchebag nerd who 0.95

01:07:43.400 people really do want to punch, but they won't cause they have boundaries there. That's what 0.97

01:07:47.860 the Democrat party is now. Like this feckless weakling tattletale, annoying loser kids who 1.00

01:07:53.480 nobody wants to brand with, you know, it's like that. I keep thinking about that beautiful picture 0.99

01:07:57.740 of all those young Republicans at the CJ Pearson, you know, organized inaugural ball and New York

01:08:03.960 magazine, calling them the cruel table. It's like, no, that's the face of the up and coming

01:08:09.120 generation, young Trumpers who are gorgeous, promising, hopeful, optimistic, patriotic.

01:08:17.380 That's what drives the left crazy who are so focused on Zay Zem and God, we don't have enough

01:08:23.820 non-binaries. Is there any woman here with a penis? Anyone at all? Is there any man here with ovaries? 1.00

01:08:30.140 Please. Oh, we can't get to a quorum. And this is why, um, just to add more color to it,

01:08:35.760 a political reporting on X that, um, Dems are in a bit of disarray over this whole thread by Dave

01:08:41.800 Weigel, who works for Semaphore, who talked about some of the crazy answers these candidates gave

01:08:46.840 on how they think they're doing. Like we should take money from good billionaires, not bad ones.

01:08:52.880 Uh, and anyway, the, the quote repeated by political was we are so fucked said one democratic 0.99

01:08:59.500 strategist. They even, they see it still. Yeah, no, it's, it's, it's very true. I think they are now. 0.99

01:09:07.540 I, I, I hesitate to, to be too confident here, right? Things do change. I think that the Democrats

01:09:13.000 felt like this back probably in 2008 after Barack Obama. I remember people writing books saying

01:09:18.760 Republicans would only be a regional party from here on out and things change quickly. The next

01:09:23.860 election was the tea party election. So it does change quickly and you got to be really, really

01:09:27.820 careful. But like, when I look at that, you know, the New York magazine cover, you mentioned,

01:09:32.260 obviously they cropped out all the black people to make it look like it was an all white audience.

01:09:37.040 But when you look at that whole picture, that's an inspiring picture of our future. It is,

01:09:42.720 I mean, you're right. It was like a bunch of good looking younger people who were like

01:09:47.000 inspiring, engaged in politics, cared about, you know, uh, relationships in a traditional sense.

01:09:54.780 Um, and you know, when, when, when you become the uncool party, it's really hard to shake that.

01:09:59.960 We saw that back in the eighties, but like the, the just say no thing when it came to drugs,

01:10:04.100 look the right message, obviously you shouldn't do drugs. Um, but you know, it was just seen as

01:10:09.120 uncool. And for a long time, Democrats took advantage of that showing Republicans as the uncool

01:10:14.480 party. And over time they turned to this party that was like, you know, just say no to the guy

01:10:20.120 making the funny joke. Just say no to the guy who says, follow the law or, uh, you know, who says,

01:10:26.220 uh, you know, that you, uh, can notice things like women, uh, playing against men in their sporting 0.92

01:10:32.900 events. Um, they're, they turn into a bunch of Karens, right? They just, they're like constantly 1.00

01:10:39.360 policing our lives. It's Margaret now. Oh, Margaret. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean

01:10:44.200 to, but it's another one I have to change. After that interview with JD Vance and Margaret

01:10:48.600 Brennan, I don't really care, Margaret. Margaret is the new Karen. Um, okay. Debbie Murphy,

01:10:54.380 Canadian Debbie tells me we cannot end this segment without me playing the following soundbite. This

01:10:58.160 is from, I mentioned there were a bunch of candidates who were running other than the white

01:11:03.320 guy who won. And I want to introduce you to Dr. Quintessa Hathaway of Arkansas, who told the

01:11:10.180 audience she wanted to give them something that's been on her heart here over the last couple of

01:11:16.220 days. And then this. Good evening, everyone. It is my desire to be the next DNC chair. And I just

01:11:26.260 want to give you all a little bit of something that's been on my heart here over the last couple of

01:11:30.420 days. You fight on, you fight on, you fight on, you fight on, you fight on. When your government

01:11:44.160 is doing you wrong, you fight on, oh, you fight on.

01:11:51.220 Quintessa, sadly, you are no longer in the running toward becoming the next DNC chair.

01:12:00.820 You received, oh, this checks, checks notes, zero votes for that apparently not rousing rendition of

01:12:07.660 you fight on. This, we have Trump and they have Quintessa still. I'm feeling, I'm feeling like we're

01:12:15.980 in good shape. All right. I got to move on because I can't let you go without getting to the Grammys.

01:12:19.640 Did you watch any of the Grammys at all? I watched exactly 0% of the Grammys, though I did

01:12:26.680 see some pictures and some revealing photos in one sense. But yes, I did check in on it a little

01:12:34.060 bit. I watched no Grammys. I just watched some of the clips and the responses on X. And within about

01:12:41.140 two minutes, I think the world knew that Kanye, now known as Ye, and his wife, question mark,

01:12:47.080 Bianca Sensori showed up there and she was naked. So we have blurred this because we do have kids

01:12:53.600 who watch the show, but she dropped that fur coat and you see full vag, big fake boobs and her naked 1.00

01:13:01.080 bottom. And she's, I guess, wearing a, quote, mesh dress, which is totally invisible. You cannot see 0.98

01:13:09.340 that at all. It doesn't even appear. I mean, the best was she kept trying to pull it down,

01:13:14.400 like the dress, like, sweetheart, we've seen your badge. There's, there's no reason to pull it down.

01:13:20.000 If you, if you had any hopes of modesty, they ended when you chose that outfit. And Stu, I have to just

01:13:26.200 say a couple of thoughts on this. First of all, it's so crass. It's so classless. I mean, any of us,

01:13:32.480 you, me, Canadian Debbie, Steve Krakauer, my EP, if any of us just took off all of our clothes

01:13:38.560 and showed up at the Grammys wearing mesh, a mesh dress, we would get tons of attention.

01:13:44.920 It's because you've crossed another new societal low. It's not because, Ooh, we all want to see

01:13:53.020 you naked. There's no question. She has a beautiful body. She's a beautiful woman. We knew that from all

01:13:57.560 the other nude pictures, but to show up at the red carpet like this at a festive event,

01:14:02.180 totally naked is just another blow to our already craven society. Something kids sometimes watch,

01:14:11.200 right? If you're not smart, you don't let your kids watch the Grammys, but just saying what she

01:14:15.220 wanted them to see was her naked body. That's what she wants people to know about her. I find it

01:14:20.580 disgusting. I'm not like angry because I don't let my kids watch these things anymore, but it,

01:14:25.220 I'll just put it to you this way. My kids, I was telling them about it in the car because I thought

01:14:30.920 they might hear about it at school. And I, well, of course my 15 year old Googled it and it wouldn't

01:14:38.240 even pull up on his phone, right? Because we've got like screeners on there because it's pornographic,

01:14:43.520 but it's shoved in our face at every turn, especially by these two. Yeah. I mean, just

01:14:51.440 absolutely embarrassing. I do have the same dress and it was my alternative choice for this interview.

01:14:55.620 I'm glad I didn't wear it. Um, but I, I, you know, it is just like, it's the devaluing of it,

01:15:02.440 right? Like, it's just like, if this is all you are, then what are you? Right. And, and it is a

01:15:07.920 sort of kind of revolting sort of statement about America. And Kanye West has spent, I don't know,

01:15:13.980 he's been all over the board, but you know, at one point he was singing religious songs. So I don't

01:15:18.000 know what is, what, what's happening with that. And I was also concerned about the cushions on the

01:15:23.000 chairs, uh, inside the venue. Um, because if you're not wearing clothing, I mean, I just don't think

01:15:29.500 that's sanitary. It just seems like I don't want to have cocktails next to somebody dressed like that.

01:15:36.580 I feel like, you know, just spray everything down after if you're in the Grammys.

01:15:41.160 Especially as you've been sleeping with Kanye, who's left with Kim. God only knows what you're

01:15:45.360 getting. Uh, no, not suggesting anybody has a disease. Just saying, you know,

01:15:49.000 you don't want that trail coming your way. Um, they didn't actually make it into the venue. They,

01:15:53.000 they, there were reports, they were kicked out because they weren't invited. But then

01:15:57.400 there was a report clarifying from, I think, entertainment weekly saying, no, no, no.

01:16:01.180 They were invited. He'd been nominated for something. They just didn't go in. They came,

01:16:05.700 they posed, they walked out, uh, because obviously they was just, they were just there for the photo op.

01:16:10.540 Can I just remind you, this was Kanye on with Tucker shortly before they booted Tucker off of Fox

01:16:17.480 news, trying to play all like, Oh, I'm a man of God. Now I object to the objectification of women. 0.89

01:16:25.400 Um, I think it's, well, let's start with, I don't know. Start seven. Yes. I said.

01:16:33.040 Kim is a Christian, but she has people who want her to go to interview magazine and put her ass out 1.00

01:16:38.620 while she's a 40 something year old multi-billionaire with four black children. And this 1.00

01:16:44.860 is what, how fashion wants to, um, how they want to present her. I had a lot of issues with the

01:16:52.780 imagery of, of scams. I felt like there's a lot of imagery that was overly sexualized and

01:16:58.920 did you things that I wouldn't want to see my wife and definitely not my daughter's doing

01:17:03.540 in the future in order to sell product. I don't, I've seen skims promotions. Many of the,

01:17:12.140 I've never seen Kim Kardashian's full vag on display. Even she hasn't gone that far. I've

01:17:17.280 actually never seen her full boobs in promotion of skims. I've seen them many times elsewhere on 1.00

01:17:22.360 the internet. Thanks to you, Kanye, who participated in that one shoot. I'm told where she had the

01:17:27.860 champagne coming out of that, whatever. Uh, he definitely tweeted it out and wrote all day

01:17:33.140 long. And then he added this to Tucker for good measure. It's at eight.

01:17:38.520 The girl's showing her body off, showing this, showing that. And I didn't realize that that was

01:17:43.480 affecting like my soul and my spirit as someone that's married and loved and the father of like

01:17:49.680 now with about to be four kids. Of course it's like a formal underwear. It's hot. It's like it's

01:17:54.860 hot for who knows. So like the night before the flag, you're going to come in here and say that

01:18:01.340 you're not into a corset bun. Give me really bad anxiety. What are you talking about? Why is that

01:18:08.240 giving you anxiety to say that? Because you knew last night I was having really bad anxiety and I

01:18:12.460 don't need any more negative energy for you to now say that you're not into me wearing a tight dress.

01:18:16.520 You are my wife and it affects me when pictures are too sexy. You've built me up to have, be this like

01:18:23.540 sexy person and confidence and all this stuff. What a difference a divorce makes. I don't help me

01:18:32.060 still. I think maybe as, as a, as a conservative and someone who, who, you know, can appreciate some

01:18:40.080 of the things Donald Trump does as president. We saw Kanye West put on a red hat for like two weeks

01:18:45.600 and we lost track of the point that he's just completely insane. He was insane when he was saying 0.53

01:18:51.320 George Bush doesn't like black people. He was insane when he was, when he went to the Donald 0.99

01:18:55.800 Trump side, he might've made a point or two that you liked, but he was insane. He was insane when he 0.98

01:18:59.860 ran for president against Donald Trump. He was insane when he started hanging out with Nick Fuentes 0.90

01:19:04.160 and becoming an anti-Semite. And he's insane now. That is the really simple summary. I think of 0.99

01:19:10.160 everything with Kanye West, none of this makes any sense because he is insane. He's a crazy person. 1.00

01:19:17.520 And like, this is not a clinical diagnosis. This is a, this is an opinion about the way in which 0.99

01:19:21.900 he has been behaving, which is totally fair. I, I'm like, I would like to state for the record that

01:19:27.320 I have, I did never, I did not buy into this and I did not, I did not put him on the air or try to

01:19:33.620 milk that for ratings. Like Chris Cuomo did. I just, you could see he wasn't, there's something off

01:19:39.340 and I have no wish to exploit it, but I feel like this wife, I used to think she was exploited. I now

01:19:44.520 think she's totally in on it. She's, she's, she's in on it. Like she just wants to be a star. I have

01:19:49.060 zero use for these two. Okay. Alicia Keys accepts the Dr. Dre global impact award and uses it. Miss 1.00

01:19:58.280 Alicia Keys of the, Oh, I swear I wasn't coincidentally wearing the Palestinian colors 0.97

01:20:04.040 like hours after 10 seven. No, I wasn't. I swear. This is how she spent her acceptance speech.

01:20:12.260 This is not the time to shut down the diversity of voices. We've seen on this stage, talented,

01:20:22.480 hardworking people from different backgrounds with different points of view and it changes

01:20:27.080 the game. DEI is not a threat. It's a gift. And the more voices, the more powerful the sound

01:20:40.320 when destructive forces try to burn us down. We rise from the ashes like a Phoenix.

01:20:49.300 Okay. Destructive forces try to burn us down. I mean, obviously I believe that was yet another

01:20:57.240 reference to Israel. By the way, it was the Hamas who did the burning of actual people and babies.

01:21:04.900 Alicia, you might want to actually do a little research before you go out there and wag your

01:21:08.860 tongue because you don't know what the F you're talking about. Anyway, your thoughts.

01:21:12.480 I mean, it's fascinating. She said diverse voices or different voices from different backgrounds

01:21:20.080 are important. Well, sure. I mean, we don't want the same person singing all the songs. We don't

01:21:25.300 want everyone to, I mean, you do get a different perspective. That's got nothing to do with skin

01:21:29.140 color. No one's saying that we shouldn't have different people from different backgrounds.

01:21:33.220 It's this maniacal focus on immutable characteristics that are the problem. And especially when you're

01:21:39.320 promoting people who are less qualified, you know, who knows what went on exactly, of course, with

01:21:44.360 the air crashes and stuff. But we do know that that stuff is a serious problem inside the FAA and

01:21:50.300 an uncountable amount of government agencies that are doing important things that are supposed to

01:21:56.360 help Americans. If you're focused on that, you're not focused on finding the best person. You're not

01:22:01.880 focused on finding the best singer. You're not focused on finding the best lyricist. You're focusing

01:22:07.400 on, you know, genitals or skin color or whose genitals you like the best or whatever, you know,

01:22:14.580 whatever intersectional value we're supposed to be caring about this week. When you're caring about

01:22:19.140 that, you're not caring about merit. I thought that was great. You know, Pete Hegg said that in his

01:22:23.240 term. I know Marco Rubio has spoken about it. All these appointees from Trump are talking about it.

01:22:28.520 Pick the best person. Don't care about those things. And that's the way to go.

01:22:31.960 You had Shakira who did, she pulled a Selena Gomez like the immigrants. You had Lady Gaga make it all 1.00

01:22:39.860 about trans people are not invisible. These people are very annoying and you really should pause before 1.00

01:22:45.620 you think about giving them your money. All right. It's like, oh, then Beyonce, Beyonce, she's won 33

01:22:51.980 Grammys, including for best country album last night. Meanwhile, they, you know, somebody went through

01:22:56.640 and did the list. Hold on a second. I have it here. It's actually outrageous. So did you know,

01:23:01.860 listen to this too. Um, somebody tweeted this out. Mike Harlow, Frank Sinatra got 11 Grammys. The

01:23:09.780 Beatles won seven. Judy Garland, two. The Rolling Stones, three. Beyonce, 33. Most overrated artist of all

01:23:22.280 time. I totally agree with that. And by the way, you don't have to take my word for it or Mike, uh,

01:23:31.520 Harlow's word for it. Listen to what John Rich tweeted. Folks are asking me how to music award

01:23:36.920 shows work. He writes labels and publishers all have blocks of votes. They make deals with each other.

01:23:43.260 You vote for mine. We'll vote for yours type thing. It has zero to do with who made the best music.

01:23:48.500 Thus Beyonce with country album of the year. Nice, right? The same thing is true with the CMAs,

01:23:55.180 the ACMs, billboard, et cetera, all work exactly the same. Last night, the Grammys outed themselves

01:24:00.520 in a big way. It's ridiculous. Her husband, I'm sure pays for all these aggressive marketing campaigns. 0.99

01:24:08.240 And we're supposed to pretend that queen Bay is unassailable in her country music attempts. 0.99

01:24:14.920 Well, you know what? She isn't. We're not buying it. We know what happened and how she got this award

01:24:20.380 and how she got her 33 Grammys when you've got two for the Judy Garlands of the world. Your thoughts?

01:24:28.680 I mean, it's funny because they praise DEI so much, Megan, but if DEI hits their industry,

01:24:34.980 a lot of boring white guys like me are going to be winning hip hop awards. And I don't think that's

01:24:38.300 what they want. I'm concerned about the way they look at this. At least you know you have your

01:24:45.000 outfit ready. Yes. It's ready. Don't look at the red carpet. Take your kids away. It's funny too,

01:24:51.720 with Lady Gaga, you mentioned trans people are invisible. This terminology is so strange. Like,

01:24:57.200 if anything, I feel like trans people are the most visible. Every time they walk down the street,

01:25:01.680 I can tell immediately. Way too visible. I want to know less. I want to see less. I want to know

01:25:08.060 less. Please don't wear Kanye's wife's dress anywhere. But this is, it's just like this

01:25:13.880 standard stuff that I feel like, you know, look, these are not the smartest people among us. I mean,

01:25:18.680 I'm not sitting here thinking that they're all necessarily, you know, going into deep thought

01:25:23.480 about what they're saying. A lot of them just, they've got a vibe that DEI is good to them. So

01:25:28.280 they're going, they're going to say it, but like, you'd think there'd be some thought after all of

01:25:33.680 this has happened, right? You had this supposed mandate in 2020, which has gone away. The culture

01:25:41.400 is moving in the opposite direction. People who are, I think, standing out right now are people

01:25:45.620 pushing back against this old guard and this, you know, which encompasses DEI and so many other

01:25:52.400 things. It's great to be fair to everybody, but like just on the merits, Beyonce should not,

01:25:58.280 you know, I just, I don't think enough of her music to believe that she could possibly have

01:26:04.080 more, uh, more awards than all of those people. I think you just mentioned combined.

01:26:09.500 I know it's ridiculous. We know what you're doing. It's obvious what the industry is doing. 0.78

01:26:16.560 It's just not the same as it used to be. Like there was a time when true merit determined who won

01:26:21.440 these awards. That time has come and gone and Americans know it. They know it, whether it's an Oscar

01:26:26.660 campaign or Grammys campaign. And you know, these stars are making fools out of themselves in trying 0.94

01:26:33.740 to walk over into political commentary that no one believes they have any working knowledge 0.69

01:26:38.920 of the issues. And by the way, I'm convinced on that Alicia Keys reference. We know what you're

01:26:44.140 doing. We realize you thought what Hamas did was aces. You made that clear. You're disgusting. 0.60

01:26:51.440 Stu Bergeer is not disgusting. He's a champ. It's great to have you. Thank you for being here. 0.99

01:26:56.040 Megan, you're the best. Thank you. All right. Coming up next,

01:26:59.820 U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville coach is here. I mean, this is one of the most respected,

01:27:05.960 celebrated, most winning coaches of all time. And he happens to be a U.S. Senator who for years

01:27:14.060 has been pushing to protect girls in sports. And he's about to blow the whistle on his fellow

01:27:19.660 Republicans for not getting this bill, which already been passed in the house,

01:27:23.460 a vote on the Senate floor. Don't miss that. You might've heard about this new brand called

01:27:27.780 XXXY Athletics. It's the only athletic brand standing up for women's sports. 0.78

01:27:32.720 It was founded by former elite gymnast and longtime Levi's top executive, Jennifer Say.

01:27:38.440 XXXY Athletics actually knows men cannot become women. Hello. And while we've had some wins as of late,

01:27:45.240 we're not done. Trump's executive order only impacts sports governed by Title IX that take place within

01:27:50.220 federally funded education institutions. That leaves competitions and sports governed by the U.S.

01:27:55.200 Olympic Committee unaffected. That's more than half of all sports competitions. We have work to do.

01:28:01.640 We need to change the culture to end men in women's sports once and for all. XXXY Athletics makes 1.00

01:28:08.060 world-class products, including sweats, graphic tees, and workout gear that holds up to the toughest

01:28:13.120 workouts. Check them out at thetruthfits.com. Use the code MK to get 20% off your order there.

01:29:29.920 Now we turn to a subject that was key to the 2024 presidential election and a key issue here on our

01:29:36.200 show, the protection of women and girls in sports. A bill titled Protection of Women and Girls in Sports

01:29:42.340 Act passed through the House on January 15th, 218 to 206. The legislation bans federal funds from going

01:29:50.680 to institutions that allow biological males in sports and requires Title IX provisions to solely

01:29:56.200 recognize biological sex. But now the bill is being stalled in the GOP-controlled Senate. Hello, what?

01:30:05.700 And my next guest has more on the GOP leadership failing to bring the legislation for a vote.

01:30:12.560 Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama has been on the front lines working to pass this legislation,

01:30:18.240 and he's been working for years. I went back and looked at the number of times he's tried to bring

01:30:22.900 this up when nobody wanted to hear from him, when it appeared to have no chance of passing. He brought

01:30:27.660 it up. He brought it up again. He brought it up again. He has been like a dog with a bone on this,

01:30:32.240 a true ally to women and girls everywhere. And there's a reason, I think, he's got a historic

01:30:37.960 background in the sports world. As a former head coach for several college football teams,

01:30:43.760 Senator Tuberville, Coach Tuberville, welcome to the show. Thank you, Megan. Thanks for having me on.

01:30:50.080 And what a great subject we're going to talk about. I'm your huge fan. Like the number of times

01:30:56.520 you have tried to push this boulder up the hill really makes me respect you. Even when you knew

01:31:02.960 there was no way a Democrats controlled Senate was going to give you a vote. But then GOP wins

01:31:08.660 control of the Senate. And what we've seen since you guys took over in the Senate and the House now

01:31:14.700 is the House passed it and it got massaged a bit. They passed it again. They said, yeah, okay,

01:31:21.100 here we go back to you guys over in the Senate. And we've been waiting. I've been waiting to see a vote.

01:31:26.180 By the GOP controlled Senate on this thing, because it's much better, notwithstanding Trump's

01:31:29.300 executive orders, if it can become law, law that can't just be undone by an executive order four

01:31:35.260 years from now. So why aren't we seeing a vote? Well, exactly right, Megan. A lot of people don't

01:31:41.880 realize an executive order, which President Trump signed almost a couple of weeks ago,

01:31:46.940 defining gender, by the way. And he even came out and said, listen, we have to have a bill within 30

01:31:55.340 days. Because if you don't know this, executive orders only last as long as that president's

01:32:00.880 there. So we got some work to do. This is a third time. Third time's a charm. I've had it on the floor

01:32:05.840 twice. We didn't have the votes, even had a Republican vote against me the first time.

01:32:11.460 Joe Manchin voted with me the second time. But we're going to have to get 60 votes. And we've got

01:32:15.820 a lot of work to do. We have 53 Republicans. We know we've got to get some Democrats. But it is a

01:32:20.760 very, very touchy subject. Do you know, Megan, that there's some high school teams in this country

01:32:26.700 and blue states that are totally biological boys? It is a disgrace. It is a disgrace what's going on.

01:32:34.360 And what's going to happen is we're going, we are going to end up not having women's sports because

01:32:41.220 parents are not going to allow their kids to dress in dressing rooms, take showers with biological boys, 1.00

01:32:46.360 or they don't want them to compete against them because of being a safety factor. But it is

01:32:52.320 devastating what is happening. President Trump understands. They put $100 million in advertising

01:32:58.320 in the election the last three months, and it helped him get over the top. 79% of the people in this

01:33:06.160 country, Republican and Democrat, say it is wrong for men or boys to participate in women's sports.

01:33:12.200 We've got the majority on our side. As you said, we've got to get it to the floor. John Thune told

01:33:19.620 me he's going to get it to the floor. He hadn't done it. Now it's time to put up or shut up. We've

01:33:24.260 got to get it on the floor so people can see if it's not going to pass, we'll do it again. But we've

01:33:30.120 got to get people on the record because this is something that is very dear to the heart of all

01:33:34.820 parents across this country and is dead wrong. Would John Thune not want it to come to the floor?

01:33:40.680 He certainly wouldn't want to protect Democrats. He must know Republicans who are not ready to vote

01:33:44.500 for this thing. Well, leadership is actually co-sponsors of this. And I think at the end of

01:33:50.600 the day, John Thune has been overwhelmed. Obviously, you've got President Trump breathing down his neck.

01:33:55.140 You've got the Congress or the House pushing things over. We're trying to do the reconciliation.

01:34:01.220 The Lake and Riley Act needed to be passed because that was so important with the border being under

01:34:06.320 attack. And we're losing so many young men and women for fentanyl and all those things. But now is the

01:34:12.140 time to act on this. So we can't wait any longer. 50 years of Title IX, it has been decimated by the

01:34:19.020 Biden and the Democrats and all the far left progressives. I grew up in this business and

01:34:24.080 coaching. I saw what it did for young girls, older girls. It's created leaders across this country.

01:34:30.520 And we're absolutely devastating this. Still today, I don't know what Joe Biden was thinking or

01:34:36.260 was he even thinking or any of the Democrats when they thought this was the right thing to do.

01:34:41.720 Is there some belief that this can't pass and they only want wins right now? They only want to put

01:34:49.000 legislation on the floor that can get through?

01:34:52.260 Yeah. Put yourself in John Thune's position and the leadership of the Senate. They're looking at

01:34:58.700 things, hey, let's win early. Let's get on the scoreboard early. But the problem with this is

01:35:06.160 we've already won because President Trump pushed this out there. Now is the time to put pressure

01:35:10.360 on the Democrats time and time again, four or five times where we have to, even before the next

01:35:16.480 election, get them on the vote that they're going to vote against girls and women having to 0.99

01:35:23.660 participate against men and boys. It's devastating to sports. It's devastating to the lives of young

01:35:31.300 people. There's been rapes in dressing rooms and showers. It is absolutely amazing. Riley Gaines and I

01:35:38.780 have become good friends over this, talking about it. Again, we're going to talk about her with her again

01:35:44.580 later in the week because this is a girl sports week. It is so important that we keep people's mind

01:35:50.580 on this and not let it go down and and and forget about it. This is so important to the people across

01:35:56.880 the country. Can you just tell me when you said that there are girls sports teams in the United States 0.70

01:36:02.280 that are filled entirely with boys posing as girls? You know, I just heard a story. I'm not going to name

01:36:07.720 the school because I haven't confirmed this, but it's a mom friend of mine. And I believe her because she

01:36:11.940 had a kid at this school in Westchester, a private school, they hired a new sports director, athletic

01:36:17.140 director, and then they turfed this guy because he didn't believe in allowing boys into girls sports. 1.00

01:36:22.420 And the school made a conscious decision that not only did they want boys in the girls sports,

01:36:28.160 but they had a plan to stack the entire girls ice hockey team with biological boys so that they could 1.00

01:36:36.600 be totally dominant against other schools. So I do have some information in my own personal world

01:36:42.440 that that they're doing this now for competitive advantages. But you're you probably hear from a lot

01:36:46.560 more people than I do in your role. So is that true? Like what sports are they filling the whole

01:36:51.760 roster with boys? Yeah, most of them are track teams that you're going to have a few in volleyball and a few

01:37:00.380 in basketball, but mostly the track teams. And they're in blue states. We get calls all the time

01:37:07.300 about this. And again, even the parents in the blue states are in an uproar about this. And again,

01:37:15.420 it's going to become a common thing. If we don't stop it now, you'd let this landslide keep going.

01:37:22.020 We're going to have huge problems getting this stopped. So it's important that we stop it now.

01:37:26.880 President Trump's hot on the trail on this with his executive order. Again, this is sports week for

01:37:32.780 girls. It's so important that we look at Title IX as something that is constitutional and that was

01:37:40.840 written in our constitution because it wasn't because 50 years ago, it was the first time we ever

01:37:45.560 said, okay, let's give women, young men and women, young girls and women an opportunity. And it started

01:37:53.300 and it's the best thing that's ever passed out of this place. We call the swamp here in Washington,

01:37:57.820 D.C. But again, we're going to keep fighting for it. But again, I'm going to continue to push

01:38:01.860 leadership. John Toon, John Barrasso, they all are on my side on this. But again, you might have hit

01:38:08.060 the nail on the head a while ago when you said, you know, they might just want to win. Well, we've had

01:38:12.700 two losses in the last two votes that weren't Lake and Riley. So it's, hey, just don't worry about

01:38:17.940 winning or losing on this. Let's get it out there where people can see what's going on.

01:38:21.240 But do we think, Senator, that you'd get all 53 Republicans voting for this?

01:38:26.620 Well, Murkowski voted against it last time. And then I think the next time she may have voted for

01:38:32.820 it. I can't remember. But at the end of the day, now we have 53. It's going to be a touchy subject.

01:38:41.740 Again, if you just go back and look at the last three months, President Trump hammered this home

01:38:46.220 of the people and everywhere I went. No, you're 100% right. The New York

01:38:51.100 Times just did this poll in January of 2025, as in a few days ago. 79% of respondents said

01:38:58.440 biological males who identify as female should not be allowed to compete in women's and girls sports. 0.99

01:39:04.940 67% of Democrats said that. 94% of Republicans, 64% of independents. These are huge majorities.

01:39:15.440 Even within the Democrat Party, we think we have the Republican votes. Maybe not Murkowski. I've heard

01:39:21.260 a little wiggling from Susan Collins, but I don't know. Even if you counted those two out.

01:39:26.660 I feel like we have the votes needed to pass it. We just don't think we have the votes for cloture.

01:39:33.700 Is that true?

01:39:34.200 Yeah, that's true. I think it'll be close, though. You got to remember now, they've got

01:39:38.340 quite a few people that suffer election in a year and a half. And it's going to be, this is going to

01:39:44.420 be maybe one of the top subjects out there. We get the border under control. We get inflation under

01:39:50.340 control, crime under control. President Trump continues this march down the path of getting

01:39:55.340 back to the United States. This will be one of the top issues. And so if we go ahead and get it done 0.94

01:40:01.060 now, obviously, without, you know, too much fanfare from the Democrats, I think we've got a great

01:40:08.300 opportunity. But they're going to push back hard. Chuck Schumer is definitely against anything that

01:40:15.280 we do of blocking this. So he's going to hold his group's feet to the fire on this.

01:40:21.640 And you had like a preview of what the Democrat argument is on this from AOC in the House,

01:40:29.480 who actually explained or claimed that this is going to lead to inspections of little girls

01:40:36.200 going into the locker room to make sure they're female. I mean, just the worst fear-mongering.

01:40:41.280 Here is her soundbite in SOT 30.

01:40:44.900 Republicans who have voted against consistently against the Violence Against Women Act,

01:40:51.220 who have taken away the right of all women to choose and have control over their own body, 1.00

01:40:58.840 who, as women are bleeding out in parking lots across the country, standing there, 1.00

01:41:07.060 allowing us to die, now want to pretend today that they care about women. And why? To open up

01:41:17.160 gender and, yes, genital examinations into little girls in this country in the so-called name of 0.91

01:41:25.480 attacking trans girls. And to that, today, what we have to say are two words, not today. Trans 0.99

01:41:35.280 girls are girls. And for all the folks that are so concerned, thank you for your concern about women

01:41:42.300 for the first time that I've seen. I don't know about y'all. I don't know who's been to gym class

01:41:47.560 lately, but girls, even if you only believe in two genders, I've played co-ed sports all the time. 1.00

01:41:55.220 What's your response to her, Senator?

01:41:57.980 Well, it's typical, just rant and rave. She's just trying to make headlines. She has no clue what 1.00

01:42:03.940 she's talking about. Inspectioning of young girls. You know, up until the last year or so,

01:42:09.440 we didn't have to worry about this. And that's never happened before. And it's not going to happen

01:42:13.880 in the future. It's just, it's just, they've lost their mind, Megan. They've absolutely lost

01:42:18.200 their mind. They want total control. And if they can control a scenario like this, they think they

01:42:22.760 can control anything. It's total fear mongering. So what we need is for Leader Thune to call for a

01:42:31.520 vote on the Senate floor so that we have names. We have, we have actual names of the Democrats who

01:42:35.840 are standing in the way of what 67% of their base of their voters want. I don't see how that's a

01:42:43.920 downside for Republicans at all. Even if we don't kick cloture, let's see them vote. Let's see those

01:42:49.520 senators say, I am not for this. And we can campaign accordingly thereafter. While I have you, can I ask

01:42:58.000 you about the president's nominees? Because I saw you, I went to the Hegseth confirmation hearing. I saw

01:43:04.540 you did a very nice job. RFKJ, Tulsi Gabbard, Kash Patel. News out today is of, you know, Hegseth's

01:43:12.760 been confirmed, but of those I named, maybe Tulsi's on the least steady ground in terms of

01:43:18.780 getting confirmed in the Senate. Do you agree with that? And do you think she'll get through?

01:43:24.100 Well, I'm hoping she gets through, but I think if, if one of those three is going to have a tougher

01:43:28.320 time, it's probably going to be her. We have these people up here that think they invented 1.00

01:43:32.180 national intelligence. Most of them just look at scenarios and, you know, what, what can, what can

01:43:40.460 give us a good opinion that we can tell our folks back home that we're going to vote against her?

01:43:46.140 It amazes me. Everybody tries to, tries to be a one up everybody else. And you, and I saw you at one

01:43:53.160 of the hearings that they were waiting in on Pete Hegseth. They, the Democrats were getting ready to

01:43:59.620 absolutely run over the top of them. And maybe even a couple of Republicans, he handled it so well.

01:44:04.900 It kind of shut them all up for a while, but their scenario, every, every one of these hearings,

01:44:10.900 Megan is seek and destroy. They want to do everything they possibly can. Most of them have no morals.

01:44:17.160 The things that they've done to this country for the past four years is it's not forgivable. But again,

01:44:23.780 I think Robert Kennedy will get in. I think it'd be close. Cash Patel probably has a better chance

01:44:28.800 in both of those two. I think he'll go through maybe with 52, 53 votes. And then of course,

01:44:34.580 Tulsi, she is perfect. She's both, all three are out of the box and exactly what we're looking for.

01:44:39.660 And as I tell my colleagues on the left, or excuse me, on the right, Robert Kennedy brought millions of

01:44:46.040 votes to President Trump, because when he flipped sides and came his way, you could just, you could just

01:44:54.080 feel the momentum from, from Robert Kennedy. He needs to be approved because he will do an absolutely

01:45:01.440 outstanding job, not just for vaccines, which everybody thinks it's all about vaccines. It is

01:45:06.420 about everything. It's about food. It's about the future of our country and our kids and everything

01:45:10.720 we do and our healthcare. Amen to that. Well, fingers crossed on all three of them. Last question.

01:45:17.860 So does this mean, since you used to coach Patrick Mahomes, that you're rooting for the Chiefs

01:45:22.620 at the big game this Sunday? Well, I never even coached him. What happened is I recruited him

01:45:28.040 and then I left and went to another school, but I've got to be very good friends with him. He's a good,

01:45:34.440 he's not just a good athlete. He's, he's a very good example for a lot of our young youth across this

01:45:40.340 country. Same thing with Dwayne Johnson coaching Dwayne at university Miami years ago. It wasn't,

01:45:47.420 you know, he's a good football player. Wasn't a great one, but you could tell he was a perfect

01:45:51.260 gentleman on and off the field. So one of the, one of those types of people, but, uh, uh, now I,

01:45:56.360 I, I like both teams again. I, I'm not a big NFL person. Uh, I like college football more,

01:46:02.180 but, uh, I'll probably be pulling for Patrick this week. Oh, very nice. Okay. I'm, I'm going to confess.

01:46:08.160 I, I am going to the Superbowl. Uh, I've never been to one before, but Doug and I are going and I am

01:46:14.500 going to be rooting for the Eagles because even though I don't really love the Eagles coach,

01:46:18.860 I gotta be honest, ever since the Michael Vick thing, I have hold it. I've held it against them

01:46:23.620 and I'm a Giants fan, but I am going, the Giants aren't in it. I am going to root for the Eagles

01:46:28.600 out of marital support and love. Um, so we'll see, maybe I'll bet you a dollar. I'll bet you a dollar

01:46:34.820 that the Eagles will win. You take that bet. I'll take that bet. It should be a good time though.

01:46:38.920 The football game is secondhand compared to everything else around it. I've been to them,

01:46:43.140 the halftime, the pregame, all the festivities and, and, and new Orleans is a great place.

01:46:47.680 So be careful down there. It will be safe. You know, they'll have a lot of security, but, uh,

01:46:52.900 at the end of the day, it's the biggest event of the year sporting wise for our country. And

01:46:57.320 hopefully we'll have a great game. Very cool. Great to see you, sir. Thank you so much for coming on.

01:47:03.060 Thank you. Thanks for all the great work you've been doing on this. Really appreciate it. Uh,

01:47:07.340 it's a very simple, very simple act. It says sex shall be recognized based solely on a person's

01:47:15.820 reproductive biology and genetics at birth, and that it will be a violation for someone receiving 1.00

01:47:23.040 federal funds who runs a sports program to allow someone whose sex is male to participate in an

01:47:30.520 athletic program or activity designed for girls. That's it. It's really not that complicated.

01:47:34.840 Get behind it or get voted out of office Democrats. You remember that poll? We saw 3000 swing state

01:47:44.080 voters. The number one issue they voted on in the 2024 presidential election was the gender thing. 1.00

01:47:51.480 And the sports thing is a huge part of that. It just makes sense to people that boys shouldn't be

01:47:57.820 playing against girls, get on board or get left behind, especially these senators from those six 0.99

01:48:03.360 swing states. Make them vote, make them say they won't allow a vote on this very simple bill.

01:48:10.860 Leader Thune, it's the least you can do to reward people like Senator Tuberville,

01:48:15.380 who's worked so hard on this legislation that has majority support of the nation. Nevermind the House

01:48:21.060 and the Senate. Thanks to all of you for listening. We are going to be back tomorrow with a very

01:48:26.980 interesting show with our legal eagles, Mike and Dave. I mean, there's so much stuff happening in

01:48:32.500 Trump world. Is any of it going to pass muster in the legal world? We've already seen some challenges

01:48:37.120 filed and much, much more. So don't miss that show and we will see you soon.

01:48:43.240 Thanks for listening to The Megyn Kelly Show. No BS, no agenda, and no fear.
