00:00:10.560 Elon and I had a great relationship. I don't know if we're well anymore.

00:00:16.240 Thermonuclear war between Elon Musk and President Donald Trump. Was it always bound to happen?

00:00:22.600 The Supreme Court ruling unanimously that members of a majority group, like white or straight

00:00:28.080 people, do not have to meet a higher burden of proof to bring a discrimination claim.

00:00:33.460 Whoever used the auto pen was the president. And that is wrong. It's illegal.

00:00:39.760 Sean Diddy Combs getting a serious warning from the federal district court judge.

00:00:44.300 And President Trump orders an investigation into who was really running the Biden White

00:00:49.120 House. All that and more coming up in just a moment on a crazy AM Update.

00:02:03.760 Well, it's over. For now. The Elon Musk-President Trump bromance imploding amid fallout from the big,

00:02:15.200 beautiful bill. The former first buddies on Thursday trading blows over social media in an

00:02:20.000 explosive back and forth that would make even Mean Girls Regina George blush. 0.91

00:02:25.100 That is the ugliest effing skirt I've ever seen. 1.00

00:02:27.120 Since leaving the White House seven days ago on glowingly positive terms, 0.89

00:02:33.040 Musk attacking Trump's big, beautiful bill on X, slamming it as a, quote, 0.96

00:02:37.680 mountain of disgusting pork, an abomination. On Thursday, Musk reposting many of President

00:02:44.660 Trump's decades-old tweets, lambasting budget deficits and raising the debt ceiling limit,

00:02:50.540 something the big, beautiful bill also does. President Trump responding to the criticism

00:02:54.780 from the Oval. I've always liked Elon, and it's always very surprised. You know,

00:02:59.300 Elon's upset because we took the EV mandate and, you know, which was a lot of money for

00:03:04.180 electric vehicles. Elon knew this from the beginning. He knew it for a long time ago.

00:03:09.300 That's been in there. That's been, I would say, J.D., that hasn't changed. That's been right

00:03:13.840 from the beginning. I can understand why he's upset. Elon and I had a great relationship.

00:03:20.640 I don't know if we're well anymore.

00:03:22.120 Going on to accuse Elon of suffering from acute Trump hatred upon leaving the White House.

00:03:28.540 He's not the first. People leave my administration and they love us. And then at some point they miss

00:03:38.460 it so badly and some of them embrace it and some of them actually become hostile. I don't know what

00:03:44.600 it is. It's sort of Trump derangement syndrome, I guess they call it. Tesla stock taking a sharp dive

00:03:50.280 immediately following those remarks. Musk responding on X, quote, without me, Trump would have lost the

00:03:56.000 election. Dems would control the House and Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate.

00:04:01.480 Such ingratitude. President Trump firing back in a pair of Truth Social posts, quote,

00:04:07.060 Elon was wearing thin. I asked him to leave. I took away his EV mandate that forced everyone to buy

00:04:13.880 electric cars that nobody else wanted that he knew for months I was going to do. And he just went

00:04:18.940 crazy. The easiest way to save money in our budget is to terminate Elon's governmental subsidies and

00:04:24.920 contracts. Musk then dropping this bomb on X, quote, Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the

00:04:32.200 real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT. Elon retweeted with the endorsement

00:04:39.140 Yes, another post in which Ian Miles Chong wrote, quote, President versus Elon. Who wins? My money's

00:04:46.580 on Elon. Trump should be impeached and J.D. Vance should replace him. Elon telling lawmakers on X,

00:04:53.400 wondering with whom they should side, Trump has 3.5 years left as president, but I will be around for

00:05:00.400 40 plus years. The Senate aims to vote on the big, beautiful bill by July 4th. Who knows what the state

00:05:06.400 of the Trump-Elon relationship will be at that point? On Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruling

00:05:13.540 unanimously that members of a majority group, like white or straight people, do not have to meet a

00:05:19.560 higher burden of proof when bringing discrimination claims in court. The case centering around Marlene 0.99

00:05:25.100 Ames, a straight woman working for the Ohio Department of Youth Services. Ames began working 1.00

00:05:30.560 for the department in 2004. She received positive reviews and multiple promotions throughout her career.

00:05:35.820 In 2019, Ames interviewed for a new management position, but lost the job to a lesbian woman whom 0.97

00:05:42.260 Ames believed to be less qualified. Shortly after that, Ames was demoted from her current role,

00:05:47.860 a move resulting in a $40,000 pay cut. A much younger gay man was later hired to fill the vacancy

00:05:54.040 created by Ames' demotion. Ames filing a lawsuit against the agency in 2020 under Title VII of the

00:06:00.500 Civil Rights Act, claiming she was discriminated against due to her sexual orientation, the fact 1.00

00:06:06.040 that she was straight. The federal district court in Ohio dismissing the case without a trial, saying

00:06:11.080 Ames had not shown, quote, background circumstances supporting the suspicion that the defendant is that

00:06:17.260 unusual employer who discriminates against the majority. The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals affirming the

00:06:23.600 decision and tossing out the case, noting the people who made the employment decisions were also

00:06:28.680 straight. On Thursday, in a 9-0 ruling for Ames, the High Court ruling, quote, the background

00:06:35.500 circumstances rule improperly imposes an additional burden on plaintiffs who are members of a majority

00:06:41.620 group when bringing discrimination claims to court. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson writing in her opinion

00:06:47.260 for the court, quote, by establishing the same protections for every individual without regard

00:06:52.780 to that individual's membership in a minority or majority group, Congress left no room for courts

00:06:58.660 to impose special requirements on majority group plaintiffs alone. Justice Clarence Thomas, in a

00:07:04.580 concurring opinion, noting this decision, quote, obviates the need for courts to engage in the sordid

00:07:10.380 business of dividing people by race or other protected traits. The Supreme Court remanding the case back to

00:07:17.200 the lower court for further proceedings. President Trump signing a travel ban, barring entry from

00:07:24.080 12 nations and restricting entry from an additional seven set to take effect on Monday. The countries

00:07:30.080 under the ban include Afghanistan, Iran, Libya and Somalia. The ban lays out several exceptions, for

00:07:35.800 example, Afghans who assisted the U.S. military and athletes participating in the 2028 Olympic Games.

00:07:42.800 According to the president's proclamation, the countries on the list do not have adequate vetting and

00:07:46.920 screening processes to assess a proper background check. The proclamation also stating, quote,

00:07:52.680 many of these countries have also taken advantage of the U.S. in their exploitation of our visa system

00:07:57.960 and their historic failure to accept back their removable nationals. President Trump announcing the ban

00:08:03.900 Wednesday from the Oval. The recent terror attack in Boulder, Colorado, has underscored the extreme

00:08:10.000 dangers posed to our country by the entry of foreign nationals who are not properly vetted, as well as 1.00

00:08:17.060 those who come here as temporary visitors and overstay their visas. We don't want them. In the 21st century, 0.96

00:08:24.720 we've seen one terror attack after another carried out by foreign visa overstayers from dangerous places all 1.00

00:08:32.160 over the world. And thanks to Biden's open door policies. Very simply, we cannot have open migration

00:08:39.120 from any country where we cannot safely and reliably vet and screen those who seek to enter the United 1.00

00:08:46.140 States. President Trump there referencing the Colorado terror attack allegedly carried out by an

00:08:51.000 Egyptian national who overstayed his visa, though Egypt is not on the banned countries list. The first Trump

00:08:56.820 administration issuing several versions of a travel ban, each met with legal challenges until the third version

00:09:02.860 was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court on the grounds that the text of the ban was based on national security

00:09:08.460 grounds rather than religious criteria. Democrat reaction to the Trump 2.0 travel ban, much more muted than under

00:09:15.900 the first administration. This time around, rather than calling it an existential threat to democracy, Dems calling

00:09:21.940 it a distraction from the Republicans' big, beautiful budget bill battle.

00:09:25.660 This is what demagogues have done all throughout time is to divide us from each other, make us feel like we need

00:09:33.380 to be fighting ourselves while on the side they're stealing from us. Mr. Trump is looking for distractions

00:09:39.660 from, for example, his big bad bill that seems to be going down in popularity here thanks to his former

00:09:46.740 co-president Elon Musk. It's a combination of this effort to to push forward with this great replacement theory

00:09:54.620 as well as just to distract from what's really going on, which is a revolt against his terrible

00:10:04.000 reconciliation bill that cuts taxes for billionaires and increases our deficit by two and a half trillion

00:10:09.060 dollars. Legal challenges to President Trump's latest travel ban are expected.

00:10:13.400 Coming up, President Trump orders an investigation into a possible conspiracy among certain Biden staffers

00:10:21.380 to usurp the presidency for themselves. And the judge in the Sean Diddy Combs case warns the defendant he could

00:10:28.220 be kicked out of his own trial if certain behavior continues.

00:10:31.600 Father's Day is coming up. Let's celebrate all the great dads out there who have had such a positive

00:10:41.100 influence on our kids and our nation. Want to celebrate a special dad? How about brightening his

00:10:46.100 day by giving him a gift of Riverbend Ranch steaks? Riverbend Ranch has been recognized by the team at

00:10:53.240 Certified Angus Beef as having some of the finest quality black Angus beef in America. The difference in

00:11:10.980 absolute best quality beef. And they raise their beef the old-fashioned way, without artificial growth

00:11:16.480 hormones and without antibiotics. Riverbend Ranch is all about quality. Last year, the Engineering News

00:11:23.520 Record named the Riverbend Ranch Beef Processing Facility as the best manufacturing facility built

00:11:28.860 in the U.S. in 2024. Exceptional American beef, grown and processed in America. For a very special

00:11:52.060 President Trump on Wednesday ordering an investigation into whether there was a conspiracy

00:11:56.740 to deceive the public about President Biden's mental fitness and unlawfully take presidential

00:12:02.200 powers for themselves. President Trump's order is specifically citing the use of the auto pen to

00:12:07.120 sign clemency and pardon proclamations. Writing, quote, just two days before Christmas in 2024,

00:12:13.720 the White House announced that Biden commuted the sentences of 37 of the 40 most vile and monstrous

00:12:19.500 criminals on federal death row, including several child killers and mass murderers, end quote.

00:12:25.500 In March, the Heritage Foundation publishing a report finding, quote, we conclude that individuals

00:12:30.220 in the Biden administration, other than the president, appear to have used a device called an auto pen

00:12:35.580 to affix the president's signature onto some of the most controversial clemency warrants of his

00:12:40.840 presidency. Throughout the Biden presidency, the Biden auto pen signing executive orders,

00:12:46.760 judicial nominations and more, according to the report. President Trump commenting on the

00:12:50.980 investigation Thursday. The auto pen, I think, is the big scandal outside of the rigged election of

00:12:56.700 2020. I think the biggest scandal of the last many years is the auto pen and who's using it. I happen

00:13:02.840 to think I know. I'm sure that he didn't know many of the things. Look, he was never for open borders.

00:13:08.420 He was never for transgender for everybody. He was never for men playing in women's sports. I mean, 0.95

00:13:14.020 he changed it. I mean, all of these things that changed so radically. Essentially, whoever used the

00:13:19.260 auto pen was the president. And that is wrong. It's illegal. It's so bad. And it's so disrespectful

00:13:26.580 to our country. A statement attributed to former President Biden and given to news outlets reads

00:13:33.080 as follows, quote, I made the decisions about the pardons, executive orders, legislation and

00:13:38.160 proclamations. Any suggestion that I didn't is ridiculous and false. The judge in the Sean Diddy 0.85

00:13:46.040 Combs case issuing a warning about Diddy's courtroom behavior. The judge telling the defense on two

00:13:51.660 occasions during alleged victim Brianna Bongolan's testimony, he saw Combs looking at the jury and

00:13:57.780 nodding vigorously, quote, it is absolutely unacceptable. It cannot happen again. The

00:14:03.800 judge reminding the defense that he already warned against Combs making any facial expressions toward

00:14:08.860 the jury. The judge telling defense attorney Mark Agnifolo, if it happens again, he will consider

00:14:13.940 removing Combs from the courtroom for the duration of the trial. In the afternoon, another alleged victim

00:14:19.660 of Combs taking the stand, testifying under the pseudonym Jane. Jane's allegations central to two of

00:14:26.360 the charges facing Combs, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. Jane

00:14:31.920 testifying to meeting Combs on a November 2020 trip to Miami, quote, he was really charming, really nice,

00:14:37.920 and I was already drawn to him pretty instantly. In January 2021, Jane testifying to meeting Combs

00:14:44.180 again in Miami, the first date lasting five days. The following month, the pair went on a trip to

00:14:50.680 Turks and Caicos for her birthday. Jane testifying that Combs gave her a bracelet that read love. He also

00:14:57.400 gave her ecstasy about 10 times throughout the trip. Jane testifying that in May 2021, Combs asked her

00:15:04.960 about inviting another man into the relationship. Jane agreed, then Combs called a man that night.

00:15:10.380 Initially, Jane attesting to feeling exhilarated by the encounter, quote,

00:15:14.460 I felt excited. I was happy. It was taboo. It was fun. She believed it would just be something they

00:15:20.040 did on random occasions, she said, but quote, I truly felt that that night just opened like a

00:15:25.380 Pandora's box in the relationship. It just completely set the tone for our relationship moving forward.

00:15:31.320 She said these encounters, which have been referred to by others as freak-offs, but which she and Diddy

00:15:37.180 called debauchery or hotel nights became 90% of their relationship. Jane testifying to telling Combs

00:15:44.540 verbally and in writing repeatedly that she did not want to have sex with other men, but quote,

00:15:50.260 I feared losing him. I just wanted to be everything that he wanted. Jane testifying that Combs would

00:15:55.700 give her money in amounts ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. She said he made clear that without the

00:16:02.140 freak-offs or debauchery, the relationship would end. The trial resumes later today with more

00:16:08.140 testimony from Jane, who is expected to be on the stand for several more days. And that'll do it for

00:16:14.480 a busy AM update. I'm Megan Kelly. Join me back here for The Megan Kelly Show, live on SiriusXM Triumph
