00:35:18.260 That seems entirely appropriate right now after you have what happened to Charlie.

00:35:22.960 And I remember, Megan, you did this segment a couple of weeks ago going through the insanities

00:35:27.500 in what people were saying about Charlie Kirk being racist, like all of the claims, just

00:35:33.140 taking them one by one by one.

00:35:34.860 And I remember on social media going back and forth with people who were making these blanket

00:35:39.080 statements that, like, objectively, Charlie Kirk racist, Charlie Kirk hateful, et cetera.

00:35:43.700 And everything crumbles when you take it apart and you realize that he's talking about points

00:35:48.440 that have been made by Thomas Sowell and Jason Reilly, as you point out, over many, many years.

00:35:53.440 But that lands flat with so many people now because they just have this worldview that is impenetrable

00:36:00.540 to reason, and that is so dangerous. That's why they want to shut people down as Nazis. That's

00:36:06.240 why they want to shut people down as Hitler, because they're at a point beyond being persuaded.

00:36:12.700 Hopefully, not everyone, but it's hard to look at somebody like that and say, yes, now they

00:36:17.320 are going to, we can hit them with all of this reason and logic and say, this argument looks

00:36:22.700 like this. This is why you're wrong. It doesn't matter. I mean, that's just the place that we're

00:36:27.400 at with a big chunk of the country. And it's, it's really, really dangerous.

00:36:31.640 It's so, it's so mentally deranged. And yet it's, it's not because one third of liberals

00:36:38.460 are open-minded to political violence. So it's really not, they can't all be crazy. Some of them

00:36:43.720 are sane and just believe this is actually a way out of our current problems. I genuinely don't

00:36:48.520 understand it. I genuinely don't. There are people who I can't stand on the other side of the aisle,

00:36:54.140 certainly in the punditry class. I mean, those are the ones who are at the top for me,

00:36:57.700 but also in the politician class. Most of the politicians, I just kind of laugh and scoff at,

00:37:01.720 but there are a couple who I really can't stand who have been very aggressive on the transing of

00:37:05.780 children, for example, like a couple in the, um, the legislature out in California. I would never

00:37:11.640 cheer their death. Never, never, never, ever. There isn't anybody alive. Like maybe if there was

00:37:17.580 somebody who was actively committing a genocide. Yeah. I mean like that's war. That's a different thing.

00:37:21.860 But then like they, they just, they would say, well, that's Donald Trump. He's genociding immigrants

00:37:27.700 right now. That's how they make the leap. And they lose like the connection to no, no, no, no,

00:37:32.900 no, no, no. You're talking about like an actual genocide, like something that's actually happening,

00:37:36.120 uh, uh, in Africa right now where, where you've got thousands being killed in the name of politics

00:37:41.560 or in any event, we could go down that, that path. But here, speaking of the, you know, Trump's

00:37:47.780 committing a genocide, they are just as vocal on the ice situation. And we saw that that's kind of

00:37:53.920 the catalyst for the no Kings, um, rallies in some ways. And so the anti ice rhetoric was at a fever

00:38:02.180 pitch again, peaceful. They were happy. They were joyful. Um, I guess they didn't catch this guy.

00:38:16.080 guy in Chicago sought eight. You got to grab a gun. We got to turn around the guns on this fascist

00:38:25.160 system. These ice agents got to get shot and wiped out this day. The state machinery that's a full

00:38:33.680 display right there has to get wiped out. Okay. Now I just had a debate with the fifth column guys

00:38:41.580 who we love. Um, and Matt Welsh, who was like the ice agents should not be wearing masks. And we had

00:38:47.780 not this video, but something like, and I said, Matt, that's, this is why they do have to wear masks.

00:38:51.580 They literally had bounties placed on their heads for execution by these drug cartels, but you don't

00:38:56.900 even have to go to the drug cartel place that appears to be an American citizen. He has an accent,

00:39:02.100 but it appears to be an American citizen standing up there calling for ice to be assassinated.

00:39:07.000 And so why wouldn't they need to protect themselves? And why wouldn't now the media

00:40:07.960 about, for example, migrants themselves, we all know, I mean, it's actually astounding, astounding

00:40:14.440 to me, the amount of evidence that you've played over the course of the show, Megan, that we know

00:40:17.980 if just one of these videos, if just one of these videos existed at a Trump rally or at a tea party

00:40:24.800 rally back in 2012, this would be the narrative. And it is, it is, people are so exasperated with it

00:40:37.460 Trump rally at Madison square garden who made the joke about Puerto Rico? How many segments on

00:40:51.940 they love America. They love our constitution. There they are in the cities protesting as peaceful

00:40:59.200 Americans. That's what we get instead. It's infuriating. Um, here's another bit on ice from,

00:41:10.920 to know. He had his stint weirdly inexplicably as a rom-com lead back in the nineties. Who the hell

00:43:51.320 be lumped into an actual hate bigot category because the media allowed him to be covered that

00:43:57.780 way. It is astounding. That is exactly what he's talking about. That is the authoritarian othering

00:44:04.940 that preceded this entire moment. That is how the cliche goes. That is how you got Trump because

00:44:11.320 people were tired of being called bigots for wanting a border wall, being categorized, lumped

00:44:17.360 into that, necessarily lumped into that category of bigotry by the media, by elites who are profiting

00:44:24.420 from all of it, by the way. And so it's actually very funny. That was his justification for taking

00:44:29.220 to the streets. And that's what he takes issue with being, in his argument, turned around on the

00:44:33.980 left. That is the othering that got us to where we are right now. Look at Don Lamont and his messaging

00:44:42.300 around ICE and what private citizens should do. Black people, brown people of all stripes,

00:44:49.920 whether you're an Indian American or a Mexican American or whoever you are, go out in your place

00:44:56.040 where you live and get a gun legally, get a license to carry legally. Because when you have people

00:45:04.480 knocking on your door and taking you away without due process as a citizen, isn't that what the

00:45:12.320 Second Amendment was written for? Go back and read what the Second Amendment says. And perhaps it will

00:45:18.480 knock some sense in the head, in the heads of these people who are saying, well, it's all great. I don't

00:45:23.580 believe they're doing it without due process. They're asking people for papers. They're not

00:45:27.120 really beating people up. These people are doing things that are illegal. Nobody is illegal. It is

00:45:32.020 a misdemeanor to cross the border. Okay. I don't know where, when he developed a lisp, but now he has

00:45:37.460 a lisp, I guess. And he's out there actually saying that they're tearing Americans out of their homes

00:45:43.200 and what, deporting them without due process. That's a lie. That is a lie. There is not an American

00:45:50.560 citizen who's not entitled to and doesn't get due process. The whole battle we're having is over people

00:45:55.860 who are here illegally, or in some cases, who are here on a temporary visa that can be withdrawn just as

00:46:03.860 easily and quickly as it was granted, because they are guests here and their invitation does not have to

00:46:08.960 be never-ending. So you spout off about certain things or the State Department deems you to be a potential

00:46:15.680 danger. Yeah, your visa is probably going to go away. But actually rounding people up is only

00:46:21.180 happening to suspected illegals who, the ones who are getting shipped out immediately, already have

00:46:27.260 a prior order of deportation. And the ones who actually get housed and then offered a trial are

00:46:34.140 ones who need some order of administrative hearing, which they get before they get deported.

00:46:39.400 There's been one category of people used under the Alien Enemies Act, where Trump went to a more

00:55:57.660 it's a sleight of hand. Because if you dig in this article, what they're saying is 170 have allegedly

00:56:03.280 been held by ICE, like making it sound like they were on the way to being deported. But really,

00:56:08.300 when you dig into it, you see it's the vast majority were arrested at ICE protests for throwing

00:56:14.200 things at cops or behaving badly. So any American can get arrested for doing that at a No Kings rally,

00:56:19.740 at a BLM rally, though they never were, and certainly at an anti-ICE rally. That's the vast

00:56:25.280 majority that they're objecting to. And they're like, oh, these are bullshit charges that were

00:56:27.900 soon thereafter dismissed. Well, that's because we have soft on crime DAs who don't like to protest

00:56:32.140 anybody who shows up at an ICE rally. It doesn't mean anything about their guilt or innocence.

00:56:35.480 And then just quickly zeroing in on the people who they say are citizens being wrongly detained

00:56:40.260 by ICE, they say nearly 20 children, including two with cancer. That includes four who were held

00:56:46.260 for weeks without their undocumented mother and without access to the family's attorney.

00:56:51.120 Okay, we covered these cases here on this show. What's happening is in those cases with the children,

00:56:57.200 the children may be U.S. citizens, but the mothers are illegal. The fathers in most cases have split,

00:57:02.280 so we're only dealing with a mom. And the mom's about to get deported. One of these moms,

00:57:06.500 I remember her case, she'd been deported three times, three times, and she continued to stay.

00:57:10.620 So when they got her the fourth time, Tom Homan did it courtesy of saying, what do you want me to

00:57:15.220 do with your young kids? Like they can come with you, they can go with you back to Honduras,

00:57:19.220 or we can leave them with a family member here. And in all these cases, the mom said,

00:57:23.560 I'm taking them with me. But now you get ProPublica who writes it up.

00:57:27.000 Like we're wrongfully detaining American children in ICE facilities. It's just

00:57:32.680 propaganda. What I said is right, which I knew. We are not rounding up American citizens and holding

00:57:40.740 them without due process. We are rounding up Americans who misbehave at protests. And it is

00:57:45.180 possible some American here or there could get wrongfully arrested by ICE, suspected of being

00:57:49.720 illegal. But even the ProPublica article admits that all the Americans got released within a day

00:57:55.000 when they got wrongfully tapped for whatever reason by Tom Homan or police for bad behavior at

00:58:01.440 a protest. So it's like, it's just, it's misleading. And Homeland Security has come out repeatedly trying

00:58:06.140 to debunk this saying it's not true. It's not true. But you get fudging numbers like this where

00:58:11.500 people believe it. And then they, then they want to kill ICE. You know, that Kristi Noem is pointing

00:58:17.220 out that the threats on ICE agents have gone up. I think she said 3000%. Like these guys forget the

00:58:23.360 bounties by the drug cartels, which you do need to take seriously every day just for doing their job,

00:58:28.340 which is law enforcement to clean up Joe Biden's mess, have to deal with the John Cusacks of the

00:58:33.200 world calling them goons. You're right. It's like, it's just so wrong. Okay. But enough of,

00:58:39.020 yeah, you, you comment on it and then we'll move on. Well, no, I was just going to say the ProPublica

00:58:42.520 article is frustrating because there, there are, there are a handful of cases. So there's a veteran

00:58:46.500 who got caught up in Oxnard, the California Oxnard raid that people have talked a lot about.

00:58:51.360 And there are cases like that, but then I'm clicking through the links just like you did

00:58:54.820 on the ProPublica story as I was reading it. And it's cases where, for example, a woman is knowingly

00:59:00.500 living with somebody who is pretty clearly involved in gang activity. And then it just gets dropped into

00:59:06.220 the ProPublica story with zero context, unless you click through on a hyperlink.

00:59:10.040 And we're talking about a US citizen who is again, like knowingly living with somebody who is not in

00:59:15.700 the country legally, who is pretty clearly involved with all kinds of bad stuff. And I'm supposed to

00:59:20.520 have sympathy for her getting caught up in a raid when it's her house that this guy lives at. So yes,
