Ep. 1429 - Ann Coulter Stuns Bill Maher With Her "Superpower"

Summary

A neo-Nazi group led a protest in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday, and the media ignored it until a clip of the group and its leader emerged online and spread across the internet. This is a strange bedfellows.

Transcript

00:00:00.000 A couple dozen neo-Nazis marched through downtown Nashville on Saturday.
00:00:04.660 The group apparently calls itself Blood Tribe and was founded in 2020 by a former Marine
00:00:09.740 named Christopher Polhouse. Liberals were quick to denounce the demonstrators as evidence that
00:00:15.940 right-wing Trump supporters are taking America down a dark path. But the liberal outcry and
00:00:23.520 media coverage quickly died down when an inconvenient clip of the group and its leader
00:00:28.520 from last September emerged and began to spread across the internet.
00:00:33.260 Christopher, there's a presidential race going on right now. Are you going to vote in 2024?
00:00:38.780 What do you think is going to happen?
00:00:39.760 My vote is useless. I think Biden's better than Trump because he sends rockets to Ukraine.
00:00:46.820 In support of Ukraine, you mean?
00:00:49.220 Hail Ukraine. Hail Azo.
00:00:51.580 So for those who are having a difficult time tracking this story, and I can understand why,
00:00:57.140 the neo-Nazi march was led by a guy who's endorsing Joe Biden in 2024 because Biden supports sending
00:01:06.780 weapons to Ukraine, a country currently at war with Russia after Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine
00:01:14.060 specifically to denazify it, even though Ukraine is currently led by a Jew. All of which reveals
00:01:23.840 an eternal truth denied by simpletons on both sides of the aisle. Politics makes for strange bedfellows.
00:01:31.960 I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:34.000 Assistant Health Secretary Richard Levine, who now calls himself Rachel, has a dire warning this Black
00:01:59.000 History Month, and that is, of course, that global warming is racist. We will get to that in a moment.
00:02:03.080 First, though, go to goodranchers.com. Use code Knowles. Did you know that over 5 billion pounds
00:02:09.080 of meat are imported and sold in the U.S. every year? That is why you need Good Ranchers. They are
00:02:13.240 the number one source for 100% American meat that I trust to feed my own family. I had a very difficult
00:02:20.760 moment last night. I was eating a nice dish with chicken and broccoli that Elisa had made. The chicken
00:02:26.280 was off. It was not as good as the chicken usually is. The dish was excellent, but I said,
00:02:32.280 this is not Good Ranchers chicken because we've eaten all of our Good Ranchers meat, and I now
00:02:36.600 clearly need to double my subscription size. Right now, when you subscribe to any of their boxes,
00:02:41.160 you will secure their leap year offer of free bacon for four years. That is over 70 pounds of
00:02:45.900 applewood smoked bacon. You will get just by subscribing. Not sure which box to try? Get

00:02:59.780 feed to your family. It is the best quality on the market. The prices cannot possibly be beat.

00:03:13.620 in free bacon before their leap year sale ends. Goodranchers.com. American meat delivered.
00:03:18.700 A lot of people, the minute they saw this neo-Nazi march, they said, these guys are feds.
00:03:24.060 And there's no question that federal agents sometimes, frequently, pose as far-right extreme
00:03:31.660 neo-Nazi figures to try to generate a lot of controversies. That happens with some frequency.
00:03:41.100 Here, though, I don't think that's what's going on. There's no doubt in my mind that this guy,
00:03:46.040 Christopher Polhouse, is a real guy. We know about his background. At least the leader of this group
00:03:51.660 wasn't wearing some kind of a mask. And I kind of believe his argument. I think his argument is,
00:03:58.440 he says, my vote doesn't matter. So he's saying, I want a more extreme version of political
00:04:04.700 revolution than is possible within the current landscape. But if I had to pick between Biden
00:04:10.420 and Trump, I would pick Biden because Biden is arming Ukraine. You actually see this if you
00:04:14.640 delve into the far fringes of the internet, the far left or the far right, you'll notice that a lot
00:04:21.360 of the neo-Nazi types are really into Ukraine. It's kind of funny because in real life, in regular life,
00:04:26.980 it's the centrist liberals who are the most excited about funding Ukraine. But I guess it's just
00:04:32.760 evidence of the point that I've made for some years now, which is that politics makes for very
00:04:39.220 strange bedfellows. I totally see how you could arrive at this neo-Nazi's conclusion given his sort
00:04:46.640 of strange premises. But it is just chef's kiss, beautiful irony that the big splashy headlines
00:04:56.940 neo-Nazi's march in Nashville, this is clearly an example of Trump's degradation of our politics.
00:05:04.880 Oh, wait a second. He's endorsing Biden. Never mind. Anyway, bye-bye. We'll see that story later.
00:05:09.760 Also, speaking of violence in Nashville, I want you all to know, moments, mere moments before this show
00:05:16.920 began this morning, I was rear-ended in Nashville while driving to the studio by a teenage girl.
00:05:23.760 And I only mention it not because I want your pity. I don't want your pity. It takes more than a Honda
00:05:30.640 sedan to take down a bull moose or whatever the car was. I don't know. The reason I mention it is
00:05:37.240 because you will recall just about a month ago, our poor Professor Jacob, associate producer on this show,
00:05:45.300 was also hit by a teenage girl driving in Nashville, which is why I am calling for a complete and total
00:05:53.640 shutdown on teenage girl drivers until we figure out what the hell is going on. Now, speaking of
00:06:01.580 women and also speaking of racial politics, Joy Reid has a curious claim about American history.
00:06:10.280 And her curious claim is that she built the country. I mean, to be a black person in, you know,
00:06:17.100 2024 in America is to be in a state of complete perplexed confusion about what is wrong with a
00:06:24.980 country that hates your history, to this day can't admit even the basics of what was done to your
00:06:31.660 ancestors. And to find out that literally Barack Obama's two terms as president are your reparations
00:06:38.800 and Juneteenth, which you already celebrated anyway, is your reparations. And yet you built
00:06:45.280 this country. You literally physically built this country. And yet the attitude toward you from a lot
00:06:53.660 of your peers and your fellow citizens is just shut up and be grateful.
00:07:00.360 That is certainly my attitude to Joy Reid. That's right. It's not my attitude to all people or to all
00:07:05.720 black people, but it is certainly my attitude to Joy Reid. Joy Reid's parents are immigrants.
00:07:15.660 Joy Reid's father came from Congo. Joy Reid's mother came from Guyana. Joy Reid is a first generation
00:07:22.780 American. Not one single person in her family tree had any connection to slavery. Not one single
00:07:29.520 person in her family tree was here more than one generation ago. Joy Reid has had absolutely nothing
00:07:36.220 to do whatsoever with the building of this country. Her effect on America has only been negative in as
00:07:41.860 much as she goes on left-wing cable news shows and yaps and degrades our country. But beyond that,
00:07:49.240 let's take Joy Reid out of her commentary for a moment. She's saying this is really awful because
00:07:56.700 to be a black person in America today is to know that you built this country. Your ancestors are
00:08:01.620 brought over here in chains and you built this country and you get nothing for it. No affirmative
00:08:06.800 action, no special programs, no DEI, no this, no that. She's ignoring all of those things. She says,
00:08:11.300 you get nothing for it even though your ancestors built this country. But what that ignores is that for a
00:08:17.400 huge number of black people in America today, their ancestors had nothing to do with building this
00:08:22.960 country because 12% of black people in the United States today are immigrants. Just that number alone,
00:08:32.560 I think, totally destroys any argument that America is systemically racist toward black people,
00:08:39.040 any of the George Floyd BLM Marxist nonsense. The fact that a full 12% of American black people today
00:08:46.300 are immigrants, they chose to come here, totally destroys that argument. But in addition to that,
00:08:52.420 another 9% of black people in America today are the children of immigrants. Meaning that 21%,
00:09:00.400 little more than one in five black people in America today have absolutely no historical connection
00:09:06.480 to the country. And yet we are told they are robbed of what they are owed for their ancestors'
00:09:15.540 contributions. They are systematically discriminated against and they deserve reparations. Reparations
00:09:22.660 for what? If there were to be a system of reparations for slavery, Joy Reid would be the
00:09:29.620 first person in line with her handout asking for them. She is here. That is what she is asking for
00:09:34.360 here. At the very least, I think all reasonable people should agree that Joy Reid has no claim on
00:09:40.940 reparations. But the same could be said of at least one in five black people currently in the United
00:09:47.180 States. And that doesn't take into account people two to three generations ago whose ancestors
00:09:52.960 immigrated here long after slavery. Seems to me the woman undercuts her own argument by her very
00:10:01.780 character. Now, speaking of racial politics, my friend Ann Coulter just displayed what Bill Maher
00:10:08.620 described as a superpower on his show. This in response to a mass shooting.
00:10:16.300 I mean, we don't know who did this shooting, by the way, the Super Bowl.
00:10:20.720 We have some idea.
00:10:22.540 What?
00:10:23.100 If it were a white man shooting, we'd know.
00:10:28.940 Well, we don't know.
00:10:30.600 That's how we know it's not a white man. I can tell you that much.
00:10:33.780 You think they were repressing that reporting?
00:10:35.960 They wouldn't tell us about the transgender woman that shot up the Christian school for
00:10:41.100 what, like a year? Oh, San Bernardino out here. Remember the crazy terrorist Muslims?
00:10:48.760 That's when I first noticed, hmm, they're not telling us who it is. It's not a white male.
00:10:53.700 The longer they go without telling you, it's not a white male.
00:10:56.540 Okay, well, we don't, for this one, for right now, as of Friday night, February 16th.
00:11:01.820 We know.
00:11:02.360 We don't officially know. Okay, you know you have special powers.
00:11:07.900 And those special powers are called common sense. What's funny is Ann is sitting here on a panel with
00:11:13.220 Van Jones, who is the black, fairly liberal, but somewhat more reasonable CNN commentator.
00:11:19.620 And you'll notice Van Jones is quiet during this whole exchange because Van Jones knows that Ann
00:11:25.420 is right. And as of now, by the way, there are a lot of thoughts and suggestions as to who the
00:11:35.340 shooter is. We actually still don't know for sure. There was a picture of a guy getting arrested
00:11:39.520 at the chief's parade that actually was not a shooter. So the authorities are not telling us much
00:11:45.960 about the identity of the perpetrators. But to Ann's point, we know. We know because this is
00:11:54.540 always the case. Ann has been making this point for years that the longer it takes for the media
00:12:01.560 to report on the race and sex of the shooter, the less likely it is that that's a white man.
00:12:08.540 And it drops off precipitously. When it's a white guy, you know immediately. When it's a white guy,
00:12:12.920 you get the manifesto ASAP. When it's not a white guy, when it's a trans lady, whatever,
00:12:18.600 then the FBI is going to keep that manifesto under lock and key. It's all going to be very vague.
00:12:24.880 Certainly when it's a black person, it's just, you know, suspect. There's no mention of anything.
00:12:30.220 The only group that we are encouraged to target and malign, discriminated against by law, yes,
00:12:38.380 but also culturally to insult and malign, is straight white men who know that they're men.
00:12:45.320 That's the only group. And so that's the group you're going to see in the headlines.
00:12:49.980 In an age of absurdity, common sense seems like a superpower. Now, there's much more to say,
00:12:56.560 but first, text Knowles to 200, 300. For most homeowners, window replacement is not something

00:14:03.940 Go to windowappointmentnow.com for full offer details. Speaking of common sense and an age of
00:14:10.460 absurdity, there was a horrifically sacrilegious showing at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York
00:14:18.220 just over the past few days. St. Patrick's Cathedral is the most magnificent church in
00:14:25.180 the United States. I'm a New Yorker, so I've spent a lot of time in St. Pat's over the years.
00:14:30.180 It's just a beautiful goth-like cathedral in New York City, and it's considered America's parish
00:14:36.220 church. A bunch of trans activists took over the church a few days ago for a funeral for a trans
00:14:45.560 identifying kind of—I don't know if the person was a prostitute or just sort of styled him or herself
00:14:52.600 a prostitute. Here is the eulogy such as it is.
00:14:58.640 That no one can say you cannot do it.
00:15:02.640 This great whore, St. Cecilia, mother of all whores,
00:15:17.480 today we say we see you soon, and that you will give us the strength, the courage to continue your legacy, to continue the challenges ahead, to remain steadfast, because we know what we deserve.
00:15:47.460 Love, equity, the same rights, and a life of dignity.
00:15:59.260 A life of dignity, says the man, wearing some bizarre sexual outfit in an audience of people
00:16:06.900 who are committing all sorts of degradations to their bodies, extolling the virtues of selling yourself for sex.
00:16:12.520 That's what we deserve, a life of dignity. Not that we'll ever seek it, but that's what we decide that we deserve and we should get somehow.
00:16:18.660 Now, obviously profoundly sacrilegious, just what he says, St. Cecilia, you know, that awful thing he says about St. Cecilia.
00:16:25.180 St. Cecilia was a virgin who was martyred in the third century, early third century.
00:16:31.020 The funeral was for someone who went by Cecilia Gentili.
00:16:34.240 Since it's a trans-identifying person, I don't know if it's a—I guess it's a dude. Who knows?
00:16:39.420 A major scandal. The church has come out, condemned this.
00:16:45.420 There was a massive reparation that was said, you know, a special mass in—in reparation,
00:16:52.800 in a sort of penance for this awful sacrilege that took place there.
00:16:56.340 Unfortunately, I do know there are some members of the clergy who are not totally opposed to this sort of thing,
00:17:03.380 who are much more radical leftist sexual political activists and much more focused on that than they are on their religious obligations.
00:17:12.700 The whole episode, though, brings up a line that Ed Fazer, the philosopher, reminded us of.
00:17:20.260 He posted this to social media. It's a line from Plato, from the Republic.
00:17:23.220 And the line is,
00:17:25.360 All the pleasures of a dissolute life produce the sting of mania.
00:17:30.640 Then the master passion runs wild and takes madness into its service.
00:17:34.700 Any opinions or desires with a decent reputation and any feelings of shame still left are killed or thrown out
00:17:40.480 until all discipline is swept away and madness usurps its place.
00:17:45.260 Isn't this the reason why the passion of sex has for so long been called a tyrant?
00:17:50.540 Under the tyranny of the master passion, one becomes in his waking life what he was once, only occasionally in his dreams.
00:17:57.440 And there's nothing, no taboo, no murder, however terrible, from which he will shrink.
00:18:01.260 His passion tyrannizes over him, a despot without restraint or law.
00:18:04.720 Every man who has ever lived knows that this is true, what Plato is saying, brought to us by way of Ed Fazer, which is that the pleasures of a dissolute life,
00:18:18.740 in particular sexual passions, when you let your sexual passions run wild, it produces a craziness.
00:18:27.220 It produces a mania.
00:18:29.260 You do things that you would never otherwise do if you were in command of your faculties.
00:18:36.980 Even at the most basic level, when you get a little too into a girl or something, you say,
00:18:40.820 oh, why did I behave that way?
00:18:42.200 Why did I say that?
00:18:42.780 I was acting totally crazy.
00:18:44.640 And certainly when you follow really deviant desires like these people are doing,
00:18:48.000 it leads them to do really crazy things, like dress up like a woman, like go into the middle of a church and start shrieking obscenities and degrading yourself and calling yourself a whore
00:18:58.700 and calling your deceased loved one a whore and all just totally wacky, crazy stuff that's obviously contrary to nature.
00:19:07.060 That's what happens.
00:19:07.920 And if you don't bring that passion into line, if you don't discipline that passion and order it toward its proper place,
00:19:15.340 it is going to tyrannize you, it's going to drive you crazy to the point that even otherwise rational, reasonable people will look you dead in your eye
00:19:23.400 and tell you that a man can actually be a woman.
00:19:27.220 One of the most absurd claims you could possibly make, otherwise normal people, people with degrees from Harvard and Princeton and Yale,
00:19:34.620 people who work at fancy jobs, people who work for the federal government will look you in the eye and tell you that.
00:19:39.840 Not because they've arrived at some amazing scientific conclusion, some new discovery,
00:19:45.720 but because they have allowed their sexual passions to become so disordered and so exaggerated
00:19:52.320 that it's going to totally overwhelm their reason.
00:19:55.400 Reason be damned, they're going to follow their bizarre lusts.
00:19:58.920 That's what happens.
00:20:00.220 Plato knew it.
00:20:01.540 The great doctors of the church knew it.
00:20:03.660 Every wise thinker has known that for all of history.
00:20:07.120 And yet today, we throw that out the window and we pretend that there's some kind of right for a man to be a woman.
00:20:12.720 You can say there's a right to it, but it can never happen.
00:20:15.840 So what kind of right is that?
00:20:17.300 It's not a right, it's a wrong.
00:20:19.240 And wrongs aren't rights.
00:20:20.360 That's why we call them rights.
00:20:22.400 So then all we're left with is the mania.
00:20:26.560 These people seem insane because weird sex stuff in particular drives people crazy.
00:20:31.960 So perfect example of this, our assistant health secretary, Big Dick Levine, he goes by Rachel now, but his real name is Richard.
00:20:41.380 So Richard Levine has just made a Black History Month advertisement in front of the colors of the Kente scarf.
00:20:53.220 Some kind of, in a way, it almost, like the shapes almost look like my show logo, but the colors are, you know, the yellow and the green and the red and the black.
00:21:00.980 It's just the total black power.
00:21:02.340 And he's standing there, a man dressed up like a woman, talking about how the sun monster is going to kill us all because it's racist.
00:21:09.080 Hello, I'm Admiral Rachel Levine.
00:21:11.580 This Black History Month, I'm pleased to partner with OMH in advancing better health through better understanding for black communities.
00:21:18.840 Climate change is having a disproportionate effect on the physical and mental health of black communities.
00:21:25.520 Black Americans are more likely than white Americans to live in areas and housing that increase their susceptibility to climate-related health issues.
00:21:34.200 And 65% of black Americans report feeling anxious about climate change's impact.
00:21:39.660 Through our Office of Climate Change and Health Equity and the Office of Environmental Justice, we're working with providers and community leaders to identify innovative approaches that empower communities to address the health consequences linked to climate change.
00:21:55.600 Visit hhs.gov for more information and tune in next Thursday to hear from another HHS leader on how you can contribute to advancing better health for black communities.
00:22:06.440 For more information, visit hhs.gov slash black dash history dash month produced by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
00:22:16.440 Go to the government's health website during Black History Month so that a man who thinks he's a woman can tell you about the sun and the weather and how the weather hates black people.
00:22:33.100 And what that means for your health, more at 11.
00:22:36.840 What do these things have to do with each other?
00:22:40.180 We'll get to that in one second.
00:22:41.180 First, though, go to ramp.com slash Knowles.
00:22:43.980 When you're running a business, time is money, baby.
00:22:47.700 That is why I'm so excited to have Ramp as a new sponsor of my show.

00:25:15.860 Why is a man who thinks he's a woman the assistant health secretary at all?
00:25:20.980 That's crazy.
00:25:21.500 And then why is he standing in front of some kind of Kente design black power background to talk about climate change,
00:25:29.740 to talk about the sun and the weather and meteorology?
00:25:35.260 Sorry, my head's still a little shaken from getting rear-ended this morning.
00:25:37.860 What does that have to do with each other?
00:25:43.420 The answer is, what unites all of those things is an attack on norms.
00:25:50.440 That's what it's all about.
00:25:52.260 We have a norm in America that we're one nation, that we're united, e pluribus unum.
00:25:57.900 Okay, well, we got to attack that.
00:25:59.740 And the way we're going to attack that is by saying that whites and blacks live in totally different nations.
00:26:03.720 And we need a black national anthem, and we need black power signs, and we got to—blacks aren't really Americans.
00:26:08.760 They're a different kind of person.
00:26:10.780 Okay, that's the first thing.
00:26:12.760 Then a norm would be that men and women are different, and one can't become the other, obviously.
00:26:17.080 So we're clearly going to attack that one by pretending that the dude is a chick.
00:26:21.040 And we're further going to attack that one by elevating this person to the role of a health official.
00:26:29.700 So typically, you know, if you think you're the opposite sex, that would speak to a mental illness that you have, a defect in your psyche.
00:26:36.740 We're going to say, actually, that's the very symbol of health.
00:26:40.140 And then we also have a whole system of government in America that says that you get to vote for the things that you like.
00:26:47.780 You get to elect representatives.
00:26:48.860 They're going to pass laws.
00:26:50.200 You have a reasonable degree of political control over your country.
00:26:55.040 Well, no, global warming is going to come in and say, you've got to get rid of your national sovereignty.
00:26:59.260 You've got to get rid of your ability to govern yourself because we're facing a global threat.
00:27:02.820 The sun monster is going to kill us all.
00:27:05.180 And so you've got to totally upend your constitutional order, and you've got to outsource it to Dr. Fauci or somebody.
00:27:10.640 You've got to outsource it to the United Nations.
00:27:12.360 You've got to outsource it to all the geniuses who control the big corporations and the intergovernmental organizations that are going to rewrite your laws for you to stop Armageddon.
00:27:23.700 And furthermore, if you're not willing to do that, we're going to tell you that the sun is actually racist, which is ridiculous, by the way, because black people don't get sunburns.
00:27:32.280 So if the sun is racist against anybody, it's very clearly against white people.
00:27:35.940 But I digress.
00:27:37.080 You're going to say, just in case you weren't already convinced by all these other attacks on norms, the sun is also racist.
00:27:43.540 So we're going to further divide you there.
00:27:45.120 That's what it's all about.
00:27:45.900 That's what it's always about.
00:27:47.600 Now, speaking of sexual politics, there is a new suggestion of a new vice presidential pick for Joe Biden.
00:27:59.160 Not for Trump.
00:28:00.080 There's a lot of speculation over who Trump's running mate is going to be.
00:28:02.420 But for Biden, Biden's current VP is Kamala Harris, who is one of the least talented politicians I've ever seen.
00:28:11.420 She did rise to a very high level of politics, and the way she did it has been well documented, and we don't need to get into it here.
00:28:16.480 But she's not impressive on the campaign trail.
00:28:19.440 She's got a very low approval rating.
00:28:21.100 She's obviously unfit to be the president of the United States, and she's dragging Joe Biden down, if that were even possible.
00:28:27.860 She's at least keeping him down.
00:28:29.380 So there's been a lot of chatter among the Democrats.
00:28:31.900 If we can't replace Biden, at the very least, we should be able to replace Kamala Harris.
00:28:35.880 So people have suggested Susan Rice.
00:28:38.480 Susan Rice was the fall guy for Barack Obama in Benghazi.
00:28:42.800 Remember, the Obama administration pinned all of the blame for the Benghazi terror attack and the lies that they ended up telling about it on Susan Rice.
00:28:51.400 So she's already got a lot of baggage going in, but she's got something going for her, which is she's a black woman, and Joe Biden said, I'm going to pick a black woman to be my VP.
00:28:58.660 The reason I think this is nonsense that Susan Rice could be the VP pick is because they already had their chance to do this.
00:29:05.840 When Joe Biden came out and said, I'm going to pick a black woman to be my running mate, there were three choices.
00:29:11.800 There were three choices of prominent Democrat women who were black who could plausibly take on that role.
00:29:18.260 The choices were Karen Bass in California, who's an actual communist, like has been a member of communist organizations, and is, let's just say, not up to the task.
00:29:29.220 Then there was Susan Rice, who is certainly much smarter and more impressive, but was the fall guy for Benghazi and just has too much baggage.
00:29:36.560 And then there was Kamala Harris, who looked fine at the time.
00:29:39.580 You know, she had a warm body.
00:29:41.460 She had a beating heart.
00:29:42.980 People thought she could form a coherent sentence at the time.
00:29:45.340 So they figured, all right, I guess it's going to be her.
00:29:48.360 And she still remains basically the best choice for it.
00:29:52.020 You're not going to push out the first black woman vice president very easily.
00:29:56.880 There are all these rumors.
00:29:57.640 Maybe the Democrats will pay her a lot of money.
00:29:59.060 They'll give her some giant foundation.
00:30:00.200 It's not going to matter.
00:30:02.020 She doesn't want to get rid of that.
00:30:04.080 She sees what they see.
00:30:06.480 They say, oh, we can't keep her in this position because Joe Biden is on the brink of death.
00:30:10.500 And she's looking at that and she's saying, uh-huh.
00:30:13.240 Hey, take a walk down those stairs, Joe.
00:30:15.340 Hey, so it's just not going to happen.
00:30:17.880 It also shows weakness on a ticket.
00:30:20.140 When you swap out the running mate, it shows that you're afraid that you're going to lose.
00:30:23.440 And what the Democrats are projecting is strength.
00:30:26.400 And also, Joe Biden's the president.
00:30:27.680 And even though the Democrat establishment seems to be done with him, he wants to keep his job.
00:30:34.080 But the Democrat establishment is eager to push Joe Biden off a cliff.
00:30:38.720 The latest evidence of this comes from Politico.
00:30:42.600 There's a Politico report.
00:30:43.700 Biden's brother used his name to promote a hospital chain.
00:30:46.440 Then it collapsed.
00:30:48.500 Jim Biden played a major role in a company called AmeriCorps, which the government is accused of massive Medicare fraud.
00:30:53.440 And even though it's not quite in the headline, the Politico report goes on to show, Joe Biden was a lot more involved in this than anyone thought.
00:30:59.680 Now, you can see, if you're watching the show right now, you see how thick this report is.
00:31:04.900 This is not just some little blog post.
00:31:06.660 This is a deep investigation from Politico.
00:31:09.380 Why now?
00:31:10.180 We've known of all this sort of fraud for years.
00:31:13.280 We've known of the Biden brothers shakedown scheme where they just go around and trade on their brother's name,
00:31:21.360 which is to say they peddle American government influence and raise money for the Biden family.
00:31:27.120 How come Politico is only reporting on this now?
00:31:29.920 What do they discover?
00:31:31.580 The investigation reveals that Joe Biden's name and inner circle were more involved with this company than has been understood.
00:31:38.940 Maybe understood by you.
00:31:40.200 It was understood by all of us.
00:31:41.460 It was understood by anyone with two brain cells to rub together that the only way the Biden family was making this kind of money was with Joe's involvement.
00:31:50.420 You think Frank Biden is an impressive guy?
00:31:52.440 I don't think so.
00:31:54.020 You think Hunter Biden is an impressive guy?
00:31:55.720 I don't think so.
00:31:57.200 We all understand.
00:31:57.900 Everyone with common sense understood that.
00:31:59.340 No, now they're shucked.
00:32:00.600 It's much more involved than understood.
00:32:02.080 In addition to the accounts provided by former executives, investor materials described Jim Biden as an advisor to his older brother.
00:32:07.520 And on top of Joe Biden's own previously reported encounter with the firm's CEO, at least three of Joe Biden's relatives did work with AmeriCorps.
00:32:15.060 They include Jim Biden's wife, Sarah, and his son, Jamie.
00:32:18.000 The president's son, Hunter, also met with its CEO.
00:32:20.700 And his personal doctor, current White House physician Kevin O'Connor, joined a meeting with Jim Biden.
00:32:24.880 Wow, it's a whole family game, isn't it?
00:32:27.760 This is all according to former executives and emails obtained by Politico.
00:32:33.400 This, of course, after Jim Comer, the House Oversight Chairman, found that AmeriCorps obviously had been very involved with the Biden family.
00:32:44.520 And they found a $200,000 check that landed in Joe Biden's bank account through this whole scam.
00:32:52.680 Now, what's strange is back in October, Politico said there's no smoking gun on any of these Biden financial scandals.
00:32:58.740 There's no smoking gun.
00:32:59.720 Now, though, we're in February.
00:33:01.320 Oh, there's a big smoking gun.
00:33:02.340 We got, oh, this is shocking.
00:33:04.240 Oh, totally shocking.
00:33:05.640 You know, we're about a month or two away from the Democrats saying, hey, did you guys know Hunter Biden had a laptop?
00:33:12.860 Did you?
00:33:13.180 Hey, wow, guys, you're not going to believe this Politico breaking headline report.
00:33:17.300 Do you know Hunter Biden was taking money from Burisma in Ukraine?
00:33:22.160 Yeah, we've all known this for years.
00:33:24.580 And we've been yelling it at the top of our lungs till we're blue in the face.
00:33:27.820 And you tell us it's all fake news until you realize that Joe Biden is so weak that the Democrats might not even be able to rig the election to beat Trump.
00:33:35.000 And now you want to push him out.
00:33:36.320 So now you're admitting you're gaslighting us, to use an overused word, and you're admitting the stuff that Republicans have been saying for years.
00:33:44.800 And you've told us we're crazy and we're conspiracy theorists and we're kooks.
00:33:47.520 And it's all freaking true, man.
00:33:50.340 And the only reason they're admitting it now is because Joe Biden is in trouble.
00:33:53.600 I love this report.
00:33:55.240 I love that they're gaslighting us.
00:33:57.060 I'm fine with it.
00:33:58.480 Oh, what do you mean?
00:33:59.060 You never told us that.
00:33:59.920 What do you mean?
00:34:00.360 You never showed us this evidence.
00:34:01.660 No, no, no.
00:34:01.980 We just discovered it through our political investigation.
00:34:03.960 I love it because what it tells me is we have a chance.
00:34:08.880 What it tells me is they don't have this election totally locked down.
00:34:13.260 If Republicans go out, if we can vote, if we can mobilize voters who are less likely to vote, if we can flood the game on the mail-in ballots, and we can get people to vote in person, then maybe, maybe we have a chance.
00:34:30.620 Now, Joe Biden is not the only guy that the Democrat establishment wants out.
00:34:34.540 But John Oliver, an alleged comedian, a British fella, he wants Clarence Thomas off the Supreme Court, and he's willing to put up some money to do it.
00:34:46.880 From stripping away women's rights to Jewish sixth cases you definitely shouldn't be hearing to potentially helping roll back decades of federal regulations.
00:34:56.320 And you deserve a break, you know, away from the meanness of Washington.
00:35:00.020 So you can be surrounded by the regular folks whose lives you've made demonstrably worse for decades now.
00:35:05.720 And the good news is, I think we can help you there, because since your favorite mode of travel might be in need of an upgrade, we are excited to offer you this brand new top-of-the-line Prevost Marathon motor coat.
00:35:23.800 Look at this beauty, Clarence.
00:35:25.620 A million dollars a year, Clarence, and a brand new condo on wheels.
00:35:30.980 And all you have to do in return is sign the contract and get the f*** off the Supreme Court.
00:35:37.160 So Clarence Thomas likes to travel around the country in RVs.
00:35:43.220 It's actually really charming.
00:35:44.740 This is a guy who is at the pinnacle of the legal profession.
00:35:49.660 He could go on really, really fancy vacations, but he doesn't want to do that.
00:35:52.320 He wants to travel around America with his wife, and it's a lovely thing.
00:35:55.620 And John Oliver is saying, yeah, well, now listen here, governor.
00:35:59.080 Yeah, yeah, you're going to get off the court, and we'll give you a better RV, and you get the F off the court.
00:36:06.020 Which is the—I'm going to deconstruct this joke for you.
00:36:11.740 You see, the way that John Oliver tells jokes is he yells a statement, but then puts the F word in it.
00:36:20.580 You see, this is a similar style to comedy that you see from John Stewart to, a lesser degree, Stephen Colbert, from most of the liberals now.
00:36:29.600 You see, back in the old days, I was a history major in college.
00:36:32.160 Back in the old days, a joke was considered to be a humorous utterance.
00:36:37.680 It's when you would say words that, in combination, would induce laughter in people.
00:36:44.120 Today, what passes for a joke is when a liberal yells the F word really loudly.
00:36:54.000 That's it.
00:36:54.420 So just a completely unfunny statement.
00:36:57.340 Get off the Supreme Court.
00:36:58.980 He's like, get the F off the court!
00:37:00.900 And then the clapping seals in John Oliver's audience giggle about it.
00:37:07.540 The liberals have always had a very special hatred for Clarence Thomas.
00:37:11.340 Speaking of racial politics, it's because he's a black guy, because he was supposed to be a liberal, because he's black, but he's not a liberal.
00:37:16.920 So they call him all sorts of nasty names, and they particularly hate him.
00:37:20.400 They hate him more than they hate Alito.
00:37:21.820 They hate him more than they hate Amy Barrett.
00:37:24.240 They hate him more than they hate Gorsuch, certainly.
00:37:26.040 They hate him more than they even hate Brett Kavanaugh.
00:37:27.360 It's Thomas that they hate, and they hate him because he's rock-ribbed and principled, and especially because he's black.
00:37:34.540 The irony of this bit, though, is they're all trying to insinuate that Clarence Thomas has somehow broken the law.
00:37:40.160 He hasn't in any way.
00:37:41.600 But as they are doing this, as they're making their supposed jokes, they themselves are breaking the law.
00:37:47.600 John Oliver just broke a federal law because he's trying to bribe a federal judge, which is a very serious crime.
00:37:54.420 And so what I'm hoping for here, obviously, one hopes and one expects that Clarence Thomas will not step down from the Supreme Court to go RV around the country.
00:38:04.000 He'll probably stay on that court until his final breath.
00:38:07.600 Then one hopes that Trump really does have a chance, and he really can win.
00:38:10.740 And then Trump appoints a good attorney general, and then the future Trump DOJ prosecutes this limey lunatic, John Oliver, for violating federal law.
00:38:23.560 That would be, mm, delightful.

00:39:02.880 My favorite comment on Friday is from Hardboiled Entertainment, who says,
00:39:06.300 This whole Georgia case can now be described as the Biden administration talking out of their fanny.
00:39:15.360 Boo!
00:39:18.360 Bit of a groaner, but I'm a sucker for a good pun.
00:39:21.100 So there you have it.
00:39:21.900 There you have it.
00:39:24.700 John Oliver is not the only liberal comedian Daily Show alum who is losing it these days.
00:39:33.560 Stephen Colbert just seemed to break character.
00:39:36.880 He broke his comedic character, such as it is, to give a very serious message to the American people.
00:39:44.360 I know, I know how numb we've become, but it's not normal.
00:39:50.140 No other candidate for the presidency has ever had to pause his campaign to defend himself in multiple courts.
00:39:55.200 And I would like to point out that in all seven of his cases, no one, no one doubts that he did these things.
00:40:00.840 We're just sitting around patiently waiting to find out if the wheels of justice will grind fast enough for there to be any consequences.
00:40:07.180 And the media is covering it like it's any other political story, like it's all horse race.
00:40:12.860 Is there a joke anywhere in there?
00:40:14.480 There isn't.
00:40:15.120 It's not even the liberal fake joke where you just make angry statements and yell the F word.
00:40:20.540 There's no joke.
00:40:21.340 He's just saying, this isn't normal.
00:40:22.920 This isn't normal.
00:40:24.720 I hate Trump.
00:40:26.060 I hate him so much.
00:40:27.680 The joke is that I hate him so much, but it's not a joke to me.
00:40:31.340 I'm really angry.
00:40:33.380 A sign of madness, a sure sign of madness, is when people lose their sense of humor.
00:40:40.460 There's a great line from G.K. Chesterton who says, the angels can fly because they can take themselves lightly.
00:40:47.200 You don't want to make yourself a clown.
00:40:48.740 You don't want to degrade yourself like those people who committed sacrilege at St. Patrick's Cathedral.
00:40:54.120 But you don't need to take yourself so seriously all the time.
00:40:56.900 You don't need to walk around all doer and angry and yelling and screaming and pulling your hair out.
00:41:02.460 It's a fallen world.
00:41:03.640 Bad things happen.
00:41:04.540 We do our best to encourage good things to happen.
00:41:07.220 We hope and we pray and we have faith and we have charity toward our fellow man.
00:41:10.860 And just, you know, lighten up, bro.
00:41:14.600 But these people can't lighten up.
00:41:16.840 Because they have been driven insane.
00:41:19.200 Because they have been driven mad.
00:41:20.500 Some people are driven mad by their sexual passion, as we talked about earlier in the show.
00:41:26.380 Some people are driven mad by their political activism.
00:41:31.280 Some people are driven mad by their obsessiveness over temporal matters.
00:41:37.340 Some people are driven mad by their tastes and their appetites and all sorts of things.
00:41:41.920 Don't get driven mad.
00:41:42.960 You end up making a total fool of yourself.
00:41:44.500 Like, Mr. Colbert.
00:41:48.360 Now, speaking of trying to get rid of people.
00:41:51.400 A major geopolitical story that not a lot of people noticed over the weekend.
00:41:55.940 Which is that Alexei Navalny, who was the opposition leader in Russia.
00:42:01.020 He wasn't super popular.
00:42:02.320 But if Russia had an opposition leader, it was Alexei Navalny.
00:42:06.100 He was killed in a Russian prison.
00:42:07.800 But not surprising.
00:42:10.480 The fact that he lived this long is what's actually surprising.
00:42:13.380 The Putin regime pretty clearly tried to kill him earlier when he was abroad.
00:42:18.280 They tried to poison him with Novichok nerve agent, which they've used on other dissidents.
00:42:22.600 And it didn't work.
00:42:24.160 But then Navalny, quite heroic.
00:42:27.000 He goes back to Russia, knowing that he's going to be arrested and almost certainly killed.
00:42:30.680 And then he gets arrested.
00:42:32.360 And he's brought up on trumped up charges.
00:42:34.340 Now he's dead.
00:42:34.780 The timeline here begins, oddly enough, he and I kind of intersected at one point.
00:42:41.600 Because when I was an undergraduate in school, Alexei Navalny was a Yale World Fellow.
00:42:47.120 He was there right around the same time that Vivek Ramaswamy was there.
00:42:51.300 J.D. Vance was there.
00:42:52.680 It was kind of an interesting moment when there were a lot of, I guess there were always a lot of political people around those schools.
00:42:58.320 But he was there in 2010.
00:43:00.380 Then he ran for mayor of Moscow in 2013 and got 27% of the vote.
00:43:05.580 So not a ton, but he was still a leader.
00:43:08.300 2018, he was barred from running for president by Putin.
00:43:11.240 Then 2020, he was poisoned with the Novichok.
00:43:13.680 2021, he goes back to Russia.
00:43:14.880 He gets arrested.
00:43:15.600 2022, he has a sentence enhanced.
00:43:18.240 And 2023, he goes missing for three weeks.
00:43:20.560 He ends up in an Arctic gulag.
00:43:22.660 And then early 2024, he is killed.
00:43:28.360 Very sad.
00:43:29.580 You know, the man believed in something, and he showed a lot of courage.
00:43:32.860 And I think some people are going to try to portray him as kind of a squish and a lib.
00:43:37.720 He was not a squish and a lib.
00:43:39.120 Certainly, he was a pretty hardcore nationalist.
00:43:41.600 He softened some of his political views later on.
00:43:44.120 But he was a Russian politician, and Russian politics doesn't map that neatly onto American politics.
00:43:49.040 But all of that to say, most people don't really care about the inner political fighting in other countries, even when it involves things like assassinations.
00:43:59.240 And I get why they don't care.
00:44:00.540 There are only so many things we can worry about, you know, and we're much more focused on our own politics.
00:44:04.060 But that's actually why I bring up this story, because the basic summary of what happened to Alexei Navalny is that Vladimir Putin arrested the leader of the political opposition and let him die in prison.
00:44:20.160 And that is precisely what our government is trying to do right now.
00:44:25.360 No difference whatsoever.
00:44:27.140 Look, our government right now is trying to arrest, has arrested the leader of the political opposition, the undisputed leader of the political opposition, much more popular in our country than Navalny ever was in his country, had a much more official role in our country, obviously, because President Trump was the president already, than a mere opposition leader in a foreign country.
00:44:48.100 They've arrested him.
00:44:50.000 They are prosecuting him on extraordinarily trumped-up charges, ridiculous stuff.
00:44:55.500 I mean, you just look at the documents case.
00:44:57.460 The federal government has just come out and said, we are not going to charge Joe Biden, even though he did a much more egregious version of the crime that we're trying to charge Donald Trump for and to send him to prison where he can die.
00:45:09.020 They were trying to send him to prison for hundreds and hundreds of years.
00:45:13.120 The man is not a spring chicken.
00:45:15.540 He acts like it, but he's not chronologically a spring chicken.
00:45:18.420 They are trying to imprison the leader of the political opposition in the United States and to allow him to die in prison.
00:45:24.020 No difference.
00:45:27.560 So I have a great deal of sympathy for Alexei Navalny and his family and the Russians who supported him and all the rest.
00:45:36.540 I have more sympathy.
00:45:37.860 I have empathy, actually, for our own country, for what's going on here.
00:45:43.280 Because, you know, there's that good old blues song, before you accuse me, take a look at yourself.
00:45:51.220 Much more urgent, much more dire political problem to see what we are doing here.
00:45:55.320 Now, speaking of killing people, we can end on a happy note.
00:45:58.500 Well, not the killing people.
00:45:59.580 Actually, the not killing people is the happy note.
00:46:01.700 And Alabama court has just rightly recognized that pre-born babies are human.
00:46:08.240 A great, great decision here from Parker, the chief justice, who says,
00:46:13.180 A good judge follows the Constitution instead of policy, except when the Constitution itself commands the judge to follow a certain policy.
00:46:19.820 In these cases, that means upholding the sanctity of unborn life, including unborn life that exists outside of the wombs.
00:46:24.920 We're talking about embryos who have been put in freezers for whatever sort of perverse scientific reason.
00:46:30.860 Our state constitution contains the following declaration of public policy.
00:46:33.680 This state acknowledges, declares, and affirms that it is the public policy of the state to recognize and support the sanctity of unborn life and the rights of unborn children, including the right to life.
00:46:42.560 That's in the state constitution.
00:46:44.480 As noted in the main opinion, these cases involve unborn life, a fact that no party in these cases disputes.
00:46:50.380 Therefore, we examine the term sanctity of unborn life, and we find the decision goes on and on.
00:46:57.820 But we find that this pertains to unborn life inside the womb and outside the womb.
00:47:01.920 Obviously, a correct decision.
00:47:04.180 It's not particularly complicated.
00:47:05.560 It's right there in the state constitution, as he acknowledges.
00:47:08.180 It's a simple matter of bioethics.
00:47:10.180 This will greatly harm the new human trafficking industry that has cropped up in recent years, whereby people buy and sell babies, where they order custom babies, like you would order a new dress from a shop.
00:47:23.600 This is unfortunate.
00:47:25.780 Really, it's more than unfortunate.
00:47:27.300 It's a grave error and travesty.
00:47:31.720 And it is done because homosexual couples want to have a child, but they know that that's not how it works, so they go buy one.
00:47:39.540 Or single people want to have a child, but single people, you can't make a child on your own through mitosis or something.
00:47:46.920 So they go and order one out of a catalog, and it's just wrong, and it intentionally deprives a child of his natural parents and often deprives a child of a mother or a father figure.
00:47:59.340 And it's just wrong, and it's wrong not even because of all these consequences.
00:48:02.780 It's wrong because people are not objects to be bought and sold like commodities.
00:48:06.080 People are proper subjects who are entitled to rights.
00:48:08.600 The Alabama Supreme Court recognized it.
00:48:10.360 Well, the other courts should recognize that fact, too.
00:48:14.100 The rest of the show continues now.
