00:00:00.000 This episode is brought to you by Cardiff, America's favorite small business lender with
00:00:03.040 over $12 billion funded since 2004, applying under three minutes for same-day funding up
00:00:06.500 to $500,000 at cardiff.co slash Knowles. It's been a full week and left-wing journalists are
00:00:14.600 still complaining about how hot Sidney Sweeney looks in some new sports commercial. That part,
00:00:20.600 I guess, is to be expected, but a week in, right-wingers are defending Sidney Sweeney's
00:00:25.720 mostly nude gambling ad as conservative. And the craziest part of all is they're right.
00:00:33.780 On top of that, we learn even more about the lone juror in the Lindsay Clancy case,
00:00:37.540 whose racial and religious identity is similarly confounding the usual preferences
00:00:41.900 of the left and the right. I love it. And James Tallarico names his favorite drag queen.
00:00:46.860 I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:00:55.720 Welcome back to the show. Today is the day. If you are not watching this show on dailywire.com
00:01:14.680 right now, that means you're not a Daily Wire subscriber, which means you are not going to be
00:01:18.720 watching Run, Hide, Fight Infidels, but you have to watch it. So right now, listen, you know I love 0.75
00:01:24.740 you out there in Spotify and YouTube and MySpace and AOL Instant Messenger and wherever you're
00:01:30.240 watching this show, you need to go to dailywire.com slash subscribe. You need to be in the
00:01:34.620 conversation. You need to see the most schizo movie, the essentially that Mr. Davies' favorite
00:01:40.860 movie that's ever been made, including all the movies that he's ever been in. You have to go 0.68
00:01:44.580 see it. Red Dawn, but not just commies. It also has jihadis in there. dailywire.com slash subscribe.
00:01:49.840 We will get to the Sidney Sweeney ad, maybe the best tease I've ever had on this show.
00:01:53.640 First, I want to tell you about Hillsdale. Go to hillsdale.edu slash Knowles, K-N-A-W-L-E-S.
00:01:59.860 One of the quickest ways to convince someone that a great book is boring is to assign it when he's
00:02:03.980 15, hand him a worksheet, and ask what the curtains symbolize in the book. The problem is
00:02:09.900 usually not the book. It is how the book was introduced. This has been true of a number of
00:02:15.140 books I've read over the years that I've come back to revisit. Crime and Punishment would be a great
00:02:19.560 example of this. Lots of others, though. Pride and Prejudice. I hated Pride and Prejudice when
00:02:24.440 I first read it. Then I realized it's like one of the greatest novels ever. A great teacher does
00:02:27.960 more than explain what happens in a story. He helps you recognize why it matters. That is what
00:02:32.340 Professor Benedict Whelan does in Hillsdale College's completely free online course.
00:02:36.560 Across 12 engaging lectures, he guides you through the epic, bringing its characters,
00:02:40.260 choices, and deeper questions to life. You will examine why Odysseus chooses the difficult journey
00:02:44.960 home over comfort and immortality, and what Homer's story teaches us about duty, family,
00:02:50.440 self-command, and the good life. Right now, go to hillsdale.edu slash Knowles to enroll.
00:02:55.180 I'm a huge fan of Hillsdale. It is one of the last few serious institutions of higher learning in
00:03:00.960 the United States. Very honored that I will be joining the Hillsdale class of 2027 for their
00:03:05.840 commencement exercises. So you can be part of the Hillsdale community. Head on over at hillsdale.edu
00:03:10.460 slash Knowles to enroll. Totally free. Read deeply, think clearly, start right now at hillsdale.edu.
00:03:14.960 slash Knowles. I spent a week trying not to cover the Sidney Sweeney ad because I got enough sins
00:03:22.500 I got to confess. I didn't feel like I needed to cover the Sidney Sweeney nude, not totally nude,
00:03:30.040 but mostly nude gambling ad. I said, you know what? I'm just going to let this go. People can
00:03:35.000 talk about it, but people are still talking about it. And the left in particular is really upset.
00:03:40.940 the feminists, the defenders of women's sports. So ironic. These libs who have spent the last
00:03:48.180 six years destroying women's sports by letting hulking dudes into them. All of a sudden they 0.99
00:03:52.860 say, no, no, no. The real threat to women's sports is how hot Sidney Sweeney is. So look, 1.00
00:03:58.480 I spent seven days not covering it. Here it is. You want it? You want it? Here it is. Here's the
00:04:02.940 Sydney Sweeney ad. So for those of you who are only listening, the ad is mostly Sydney Sweeney
00:04:14.820 walking around looking good, looking really good and being mostly naked, but covering upper body
00:04:22.980 in sports paraphernalia, you know, different balls and bobbles. Okay. All right. You get the
00:04:30.320 point. You get the point of the ad. So the criticism of this ad, the chief criticism,
00:04:37.600 is that Sidney Sweeney is sexualizing women in sports. And we'll get to what would have been
00:04:45.660 the conservative criticism. We'll get to how kind of weird it is that conservatives are now defending
00:04:50.380 what is close to pornography, which is being promoted in defense of gambling. And okay,
00:04:58.640 we'll get to that. But just this first point, that Sidney Sweeney is sexualizing women in sports.
00:05:04.620 Once again, the left is demonstrating that they don't understand what women's sports are.
00:05:11.820 I guess we should have known that because of the trans ideology, but the question is, 0.71
00:05:17.040 what is women's sports? What is it? It is not the kind of sport that includes men. 0.89
00:05:24.060 So right off the bat, we exclude all the trans stuff we've heard for the last six years.
00:05:27.760 But let's go a little deeper than just women's sports or the kind of sports that include women
00:05:31.380 and not men. They include women, not men, because men are stronger than women. So if you let men
00:05:35.760 into women's sports, you destroy women's sports. You don't expand it, you destroy it. At a deeper 1.00
00:05:40.020 level, what is women's sports? Women's sports are about women's bodies. And women's bodies 1.00
00:05:46.280 are hot. They're good looking. They're attractive. There are some people who will say, 1.00
00:05:52.940 well, if a man did this kind of ad, one, you could never imagine it. No man would ever do
00:05:58.560 this kind of ad. And it would degrade men's sports. And so we shouldn't degrade women's
00:06:03.800 sports by suggesting that women's sports is about how hot women are. But this, once again, 0.96
00:06:09.700 misses the point. And it reaffirms the first error that people made in talking about women's sports.
00:06:15.780 The fact is men and women's bodies are different. And sports is about the body.
00:06:22.940 academic conferences at philosophy associations. That's not primarily about the body. That's
00:06:30.060 mostly about the mind. Uh, chess tournaments are not primarily about the body. They're mostly about
00:06:36.080 the mind and they're about strategy, but sports like football and basketball and baseball sports
00:06:42.500 are about bodies. They're about physique and men's bodies are not hot, but women's bodies
00:06:50.100 are hot. That's one of the differences. Men are attracted to women in ways that women are not 0.95
00:06:56.080 primarily attracted to men. It's not like, look, some of us, you know, for the Adonises among us,
00:07:00.880 it's true. You know, we, our physique is part of our riz and our appeal, but I don't care how hot
00:07:05.800 you are as a guy. I don't care what kind of an Adonis you look like. The way that women approach
00:07:10.800 attraction and men and sex is fundamentally different from the way that men approach
00:07:16.020 attraction and sex and relationships. For men, we are much more visual. We are much more visibly
00:07:23.280 stimulated and attracted by the physical form of the woman. The woman is attracted to other things.
00:07:29.980 This is why short, fat, ugly guys can get really good-looking women if they're funny, if they're 0.99
00:07:36.860 clever, if they're rich. And it doesn't work the other way. We're just different. Men are from 0.99
00:07:43.060 Mars. Women are from Venus. Vive la difference. So if you're beginning with something which is 1.00
00:07:47.300 about sports, that means that it's about the body. And so the way that women's bodies are 0.99
00:07:52.860 going to factor into women's sports, it's just going to be different from how men's bodies are
00:07:56.540 factoring to women's sports. I do think some of the women who are complaining about this,
00:08:00.020 it might be because generally female athletes are not quite as attractive as Sydney Sweeney is. So
00:08:06.660 maybe there is a little bit of jealousy. I would never want to accuse women of jealousy over other
00:08:10.900 women, but maybe there's a little bit of envy, I should say, going on there. But also I think
00:08:15.760 basically it's just the error of feminism. It actually is part of the very same error that 1.00
00:08:20.740 people are falling into, even when they talk about transgenderism in women's sports. Okay,
00:08:24.860 so that's the left-wing error. But what about the right? The right, I think, is raising a fair
00:08:29.260 objection, which is, hold on a second here. Are we really now defending nudity and gambling as
00:08:36.700 conservative virtues. This is crazy. 30 years ago, it would have been the conservatives. It would
00:08:42.300 have been the church moms, not the feminists, but the church moms and the stodgy guys in their 0.99
00:08:48.520 three-piece suits and ties who are complaining about the Sidney Sweeney ad. Now we're embracing
00:08:52.800 that. And the answer is, yeah, we are. Because relatively speaking, the mostly nude gambling
00:09:01.680 Sidney Sweeney ad is relatively conservative because we are living in a culture that is so
00:09:09.040 starved for truth that the fact that a company is putting a good looking woman in an advertisement
00:09:18.860 is refreshing. It's refreshing, not just because it appeals to the prairie and interest or something.
00:09:25.360 It's refreshing because it acknowledges the truth. And for the last 10 years, we have been told that
00:09:30.840 we have to deny the truth. We have to pretend that big, fat, ugly chicks are just as attractive 0.98
00:09:38.400 or more attractive as thin, good-looking chicks. We've been told that we have to pretend that men 1.00
00:09:42.900 are women. We've been told that we have to pretend that men are not attracted to women.
00:09:47.080 We've been told all of these lies. And so a little return to what would essentially be 90s liberalism
00:09:53.600 is actually refreshing. And I think that the reason that people are celebrating the advertisement
00:09:59.000 actually does go deeper than just how hot Sidney Sweeney is. It does. It does. Even if you just
00:10:06.220 had a conservative close his eyes and you told him about the ad, he would, whether he wanted
00:10:12.120 to admit it or not, he would be happy about that because it is a corrective to this crazy left-wing
00:10:18.360 culture. Now, obviously, we need to go further. The reason that that's conservative is because
00:10:23.600 of how far gone our political situation is. So we need to go further. We need to reestablish
00:10:28.760 modesty. We need to reestablish some norms and limits, I think, around gambling. Gambling,
00:10:33.980 which has proliferated, totally exploded in the last five or so years. We need to do all of that.
00:10:39.600 But actually, the first step to doing that, the first step to getting back to some modesty in
00:10:44.740 advertising is Sidney Sweeney being kind of immodest. I know that's weird, but let's say
00:10:50.920 the ideal kind of advertising is that you're not advertising products of vice, but you're
00:10:56.060 advertising nice things like, I don't know, ironing boards or something. I don't know,
00:10:59.920 whatever you're advertising. You're advertising cigars. You're advertising run, hide, fight.
00:11:02.860 Whatever it is that you're advertising. We want it to be good-looking women. There we go. We got 1.00
00:11:08.460 both the ding and the jihadi call. That's very impressive. You want it to be elegant. You want 1.00
00:11:16.100 it to be attractive, but not in a way that is crass or vulgar or too appealing to the Praurian
00:11:20.780 interest. Okay. Well, in order to get there, we need to at least reestablish what attractive is.
00:11:26.520 And in order to do that, sometimes you need a shock to the system. So instead of having some
00:11:30.660 like 400 pound, they, them, pansexual with a beard, wearing a mini skirt, which is what our
00:11:37.220 advertising has been for 10 years, you need to go back to Sidney Sweeney. There is a reason that 0.99
00:11:41.960 the left is seething over this. There is a reason the feminists are seething over it. And so 1.00
00:11:46.040 conservatives, we got to take the dub where we can get it. And then we need to move forward.
00:11:50.240 So while the normal people are talking about their favorite Sidney Sweeney ad, we have the Democrat nominee for Senate in Texas, who is currently winning the race.
00:12:01.840 He's currently leading James Talafrico, as President Trump calls him.
00:12:05.460 He's not talking about his favorite Sidney Sweeney ad.
00:12:07.840 He's talking about his favorite drag queen.
00:12:11.760 Mr. Talarico, so nice to meet you.
00:12:13.600 Sorry, I broke my head.
00:12:14.500 I was there when you defended the drag. 0.90
00:12:16.620 Who's your favorite drag queen in Texas? 0.99
00:12:18.500 Oh, my God. 1.00
00:12:19.240 Probably Alyssa Edwards.
00:12:19.940 I love Mikey Mays. Thank you so much.
00:12:24.700 Like a patient in a doctor's office, when the doctor pulls out the hammer and hits his knee,
00:12:31.100 it was an immediate reflex. That's a little, that's crazy. I've made a lot of jokes about
00:12:36.740 James Tallarico. I have made a lot of insinuations that he's a homosexual. And I'm mostly joking,
00:12:43.260 kind of. You know, he has a girlfriend, ostensibly. She goes to another school. She
00:12:48.040 lives in another town. But I've made that joke a lot. Even I am shocked by the rapidity with which
00:12:55.140 he responds to this question. Hey, hey, Mr. Tallarico, Mr. Tallarico, who's your favorite
00:13:00.080 drag queen? Alyssa Edwards. Alyssa Edwards, you just need it. Before the questions even out, 1.00
00:13:04.860 he says that. Tallarico is the moderate Democrat in this race. Are you aware of that? The Democrats
00:13:11.920 are running some of the candidates as a little edgier, like Abdul El-Sayed, who's leaning into 1.00
00:13:17.140 Islam. He's also leading into the weird kind of LGBT stuff. But Tallarico, he is their candidate
00:13:23.180 for Texas, good old red Texas, who's running as the white guy, the straight white guy in the suit
00:13:29.940 with the parted hair. Tallarico instantly says the name of his favorite drag queen. So apparently,
00:13:36.720 not that I'm an expert in this, Alyssa Edwards, which is the stage name of this fella who's a 1.00
00:13:42.040 drag queen, particularly loves doing drag performances for kids. So the most moderate 1.00
00:13:49.620 Democrat running in the midterm elections has right off the top of his head, right off the dome, 0.99
00:13:55.220 a favorite drag queen who just coincidentally is a drag queen who does the weird jiggling
00:14:01.540 routines in front of kids. You will recall this is the same James Tallarico who was asked to name
00:14:06.920 something he loves beyond his immediate family. The very thing that came to mind, the very first
00:14:13.980 thing, trans kids. Something that you love that's not family or friends. I love, I'm just saying 1.00
00:14:25.340 this because it's on my mind, the trans children who showed up yesterday at the state capitol
00:14:31.480 to advocate for their humanity. They shouldn't have to, but it was an inspiration to watch.
00:14:36.920 Hey, what do you love other than your family? What would you say just right off the off the
00:14:44.100 noggin? What do you love? If you asked me, Michael, what do you love other than your family? I'd say
00:14:49.000 I love old books and I love cigars, of course, and I love port. I love a nice vintage port.
00:14:57.140 I love my ukuleles. I love my piano. And if you ask me this and we were sitting here for a hundred
00:15:05.360 100,000 hours. And I finally exhausted the list of everything I love. I guess at a certain point
00:15:13.520 in the sense of general Christian charity, I guess at a certain point I'd say, and I love the kids
00:15:17.360 who are dealing with these problems and I hope they get better. I hope we can help them.
00:15:21.460 For James Tallarico, it was the first thing he said. And he said it a little slower than the
00:15:25.260 drag queen thing. He didn't come. It wasn't just, what do you love? I love trans kids. 0.99
00:15:28.980 It was even creepier than that, actually. James Tallarico, he said, what do you love? And he had 1.00
00:15:34.560 the answer right away. The answer was right, but he knew it sounded creepy, so he goes,
00:15:38.700 well, I mean, I'm just going to say this, just because it's on my mind. Yeah, I know it's on
00:15:43.920 your mind. Yeah, I just am going to, can I, am I allowed to say, I love trans kids. He sounds
00:15:50.340 as creepy as like a Philip Seymour Hoffman character. You know, he sounds at, I just love
00:15:57.700 trans kids. And then that coupled with the answer on the drag queen, I love trans kids and I love
00:16:04.020 the drag queens to perform for trans goods. It prompted the vice president, J.D. Vance,
00:16:09.380 to just post that meme of him from that debate. You remember that meme of the debate where he's
00:16:13.500 looking, eyebrow raised, hmm, what, could we get, can we get a hard drive check on aisle five?
00:16:20.560 That's Tallarico. That is the most moderate Democrat in this race. I gave a speech last
00:16:25.160 night. I'm here in Fayetteville, Arkansas, gave a speech. Big packed house was great for TPSA,
00:16:30.100 continuing the tour, Charlie's tour that continued. It was going to be with his friends last year
00:16:36.060 right after he was murdered. And then some of us carried on that tour. TPSA is carrying the flame
00:16:41.640 and other friends are helping out on the tour this time. This was the subject of my speech last
00:16:47.260 night. In this race, you have Republicans who are just like in any midterm election year,
00:16:54.380 they're just a little bit less enthusiastic. That's what happens historically. On top of that,
00:16:58.660 Some conservatives don't like the Iran war. Fair enough. They don't like the gas prices are going 1.00
00:17:03.020 to go up. Okay, I get it. I get it. They don't like that we've only have a net change of 7 million
00:17:09.280 illegal aliens in a year and a half. I think that's a pretty impressive number, but they want
00:17:13.320 it to be 8 million or 9 million. Okay, whatever. I get it. We're up against this guy. We're up
00:17:20.700 against a party, the most moderate member of which says that the thing he most loves is trans kids
00:17:26.960 and who has a favorite drag queen. If you have a favorite drag queen, period, especially one that
00:17:34.440 you can name immediately, you cannot make any plausible claim to be political moderate. That's 1.00
00:17:40.060 what we're up against. Are you going to sit at home or are you going to get out and vote?
00:17:43.680 Speaking of things that confound the preferences and the guesses of the left and the right,
00:17:49.640 we have to get to this Lindsay Clancy juror. My speech last night actually pointed out that the
00:17:53.660 left is the party right now of Lindsay Clancy. It's not the party of AOC. It's not the party of
00:17:57.220 Chuck Schumer. It's the party of Lindsay Clancy. You can watch a speech. It's on the TPUSA channel.
00:18:01.100 I think it's on my YouTube channel too. The Lindsay Clancy jury just keeps getting better
00:18:06.480 and better. We have new details out about the lone juror who stood against the mob.
00:18:10.520 Every new detail. I'm just like Salieri in that Mozart movie, you know, just, oh, it's just
00:18:15.220 brilliant. It's just genius. We'll get to that in a second. First, I want to tell you about Lean.

00:18:31.260 has now gone down a pant size,
00:18:33.040 which means apparently Brickhouse Nutrition owes him a new wardrobe.
00:18:37.240 But this is why we have kept talking about lean.
00:18:40.160 He has been consistent with it.
00:18:41.660 He's told us he feels lighter on his feet.
00:18:43.160 He has more energy throughout the day and is seeing actual progress.

00:19:29.760 who stopped the witches from letting Lindsey Clancy off the hook. We knew there was one
00:19:34.500 juror. Then we found out he was a man. That really irritated the left. Oh boy, did they hate that.
00:19:41.440 Then we found out he was a black guy. Do you remember this? I played the clip. I think it
00:19:46.420 just yesterday on CBS News, the anchor is talking to one of the jurors who was spilling the beans.
00:19:52.300 She says, yeah, you know, there's a person of color. And the anchor says, hold on, was the
00:19:57.320 holdout juror a black man? Oh, she goes, wow, I need to sit with that for a minute. It's so
00:20:04.840 horrified. Well, now we find out the lone juror is apparently a devout Catholic, according to
00:20:11.320 reporting. Love that. Score one for the Papists. And two, his family is a Haitian immigrant family.
00:20:20.440 It's the group. This is weird. The group that the left has most embraced of all of the immigrant 0.99
00:20:28.160 groups in the last year and a half is the Haitians. Remember the poor Haitians who were being sent
00:20:33.400 back because their temporary status expired 14 years ago and no one sent them back and Trump
00:20:37.600 sending them back. The Haitians, that beloved group comprising black men, another beloved
00:20:43.420 group of the left. It was that guy. They hate the Catholics, of course, but it was that guy
00:20:48.500 who held out against the jurors. It's so, so beautiful. And now the left is so angry, 1.00
00:20:55.460 they're trying to destroy this guy. So according to the reporting, you can read about it in the
00:20:58.460 New York Post. Now that they've discovered that this one guy stood up against the jury,
00:21:03.860 They want to ruin his life. So they're pulling up all these details. They're doxing him.
00:21:07.960 His family can't go outside. They're getting calls. They're getting threats.
00:21:11.460 And they finally got some dirt on this guy. And do you know what the dirt is?
00:21:15.820 According to the reports, the lone juror was accused of domestic violence,
00:21:21.800 which is a very serious thing. Maybe he committed it. Maybe he didn't. I don't know.
00:21:25.280 I do know that in the legal process, the charges were dismissed. So he was accused of domestic
00:21:31.520 violence, but he was never prosecuted for it. He was certainly never convicted of it.
00:21:36.500 Doesn't mean it didn't happen. Might have happened. I don't know.
00:21:40.260 There are all sorts of other reports from people in this guy's community saying this guy is
00:21:43.780 wonderful, that he goes to the mechanic and the poor woman can't pay to fix her car and he pays
00:21:49.200 to fix her car. He pays to fill her gas. So apparently he's very well liked and respected
00:21:53.700 in the community, but regardless, that's what the left is going on. This juror had an allegation
00:22:00.400 against him that he committed domestic violence. I can't believe no one is talking about this,
00:22:06.740 but my first thought when I heard that is, if you are shocked by a dismissed domestic violence
00:22:14.260 charge against this juror, just wait till you hear what Lindsey Clancy did. Do you know what
00:22:21.680 the Lindsey Clancy case is about? So for those who, I guess they only follow the very tippy top
00:22:28.800 of the headlines. Lindsay Clancy murdered her three children in cold blood and admitted to it.
00:22:36.520 No one disputes that she did that. That is, I guess we would have to say, the very worst kind
00:22:44.440 of domestic abuse that is even imaginable. And she doesn't deny it. And her lawyer doesn't deny
00:22:52.580 it. It just reveals as disingenuous, as hacks, the entire mostly left-wing movement to defend
00:23:02.160 Lindsay Clancy and now to try to ruin this juror's life. If it had been anything else,
00:23:07.040 if the lone juror had robbed a liquor store, you'd say, okay, well, now we're comparing
00:23:11.940 different crimes. If the lone juror had unpaid speeding tickets or parking tickets,
00:23:17.520 That would even be different. But it's that the left is saying domestic violence doesn't matter
00:23:24.760 when you admit to it and murder your three children, but it is the unforgivable sin
00:23:31.620 when you are accused of it and the charges are dismissed. Is that really what we're saying?
00:23:39.440 is this real, this is really about domestic violence? No, this is about the fury that one
00:23:46.440 man, especially that it was a man, and they're especially furious that he's a black guy and he's 0.97
00:23:51.120 Haitian, that one man stood up against this gaggle of crazy women and said, hey, we're not going to 0.99
00:23:57.820 let this murderer off the hook for killing her three kids. The Lindsay Clancy supporters are 1.00
00:24:04.620 not letting up. And yet another Lindsay Clancy supporter is going viral for calling Clancy,
00:24:11.260 not just, you know, a poor woman who fell into psychosis, who shouldn't be held accountable
00:24:16.280 because she wasn't really in her right mind and she's not guilty by way of insanity. She's not
00:24:19.960 saying that. She's saying, Lindsay Clancy, you are an inspiration. So Lindsay Clancy,
00:24:27.680 I want to say this to you. I don't care if you ever literally hear this out loud or not.
00:24:32.140 I am sending all the love and support in the world to you.
00:24:37.420 You are a hero.
00:24:39.560 You are divine feminine rising.
00:24:42.080 Your soul came here for a massive mission.
00:24:45.060 You are goddess incarnated woman.
00:24:47.000 You have sacrificed so much.
00:24:49.260 And I am so sorry for everything that you have experienced, all of the trauma.
00:24:53.680 But I am telling you that you are loved.
00:24:56.300 You are supported more than you could ever realize.
00:24:58.940 and there are so many people in this world who have the ability to help you and will support
00:25:04.280 you for the rest of your life because you deserve it and in honor of you and your babies we will do
00:25:11.260 better we will create new systems that can help you for the rest of your life but also will help
00:25:16.880 everybody else you are an inspiration you are elevating the level of consciousness on this
00:25:22.360 planet and Kevin Reddington let me tell you never thought I would say in patriarchy an old white man
00:25:28.160 would be a part of a massive movement of consciousness to dismantle patriarchy,
00:25:33.340 but I have to give a shout out to him.
00:25:38.480 She's a hero. She's a hero. We share a country with these people. Do you know that?
00:25:44.000 These, that woman's going to go vote in the midterms. Are you aware of that? That you live
00:25:48.620 in a country that is governed according to the demos, the people who go out and vote and elect
00:25:54.020 representatives, and you have a slate of representatives right now who are talking 0.97
00:25:57.860 about their favorite drag queens that twerk for children, that want to flood your country with 1.00
00:26:01.980 foreigners and take away all your stuff and castrate little kids and kill babies. You live 1.00
00:26:06.360 in that country, and that woman who just called Lindsay Clancy a hero is going to vote. That woman
00:26:12.740 who said, we're going to create systems that take care of you for the rest of your life. 0.98
00:26:16.660 The most charitable read that you could almost say about this woman is about the woman making
00:26:22.480 the video, and Lindsay Clancy, I guess, too, is the most charitable read is, okay, well, you're
00:26:25.820 talking about systems to prevent women who are going crazy from murdering their kids, right?
00:26:31.380 That's not what she's talking about. She tells you. She says, no, no, I want to create systems
00:26:35.400 that protect you, Lindsay Clancy, for the rest of your life. Not the Lindsay Clancy before she
00:26:42.760 killed her kids to stop her from killing. The Lindsay Clancy who already killed her kids. We 0.97
00:26:48.560 want to support you after that fact. And we want to create systems that support other women who 0.90
00:26:52.740 kill their kids. Like that lady on Oprah who said, hey, you know, my big concern is the next time 0.99
00:26:58.460 that a woman murders her kids, is she going to get off the hook like Lindsay Clancy if she's black? 1.00
00:27:04.860 I want to, my kids, no, no, no. My big concern, it's not to stop women from killing their kids. 0.99
00:27:08.820 It's what happens if a black woman kills her kids? Is she also going to get off the hook? 1.00
00:27:11.960 We share a country with these people. And their ideology is a little deeper than just ordinary
00:27:19.020 politics. You hear the language this woman's using? Key phrases here. She says, the divine 0.63
00:27:25.460 feminine is rising. She says, you are the goddess. She says, you're raising the consciousness.
00:27:33.020 You're on a mission. On and on and on and on. This is very new agey kind of language. This is
00:27:38.400 referring to specific Gnostic occultic kinds of rituals. She's mixing all of that with the
00:27:45.160 political language of feminism. We got to fight the patriarchy. She seems to imply, and I think 1.00
00:27:52.360 she's right, that you can't really separate political feminism from this weird occult 0.91
00:27:58.080 new agey stuff about what is the divine feminine. All of this to say,
00:28:04.300 these women are witches are you aware are you aware of that i know whatever the left-wing 1.00
00:28:11.780 groups media matters is kind of dead but whatever the new one is i'm sure they'll clip this out 0.99
00:28:15.240 but fine they can clip it out these this is witchcraft this is sometimes we have trouble
00:28:23.880 reading history because we just don't know how to relate to it we don't know what historical
00:28:29.180 accounts mean. In the past, in the 17th century, in the 11th century, when women were accused of
00:28:36.620 witchcraft, it wasn't as we think from children's stories, just like flying around on broomsticks
00:28:41.620 in the sky or something. It was this stuff. Witchcraft, by the way, which is self-consciously
00:28:46.780 on the rise, like many, many more women today are calling themselves witches and say that they
00:28:51.720 practice a religion called Wicca and witchcraft. This is it. This is what we're talking about. I 0.99
00:28:56.260 got in trouble because I was asked to go do a quick little bit. We played the yes or no game
00:29:00.100 at the America 250 celebration. And this cute little girl comes up. And one of the questions
00:29:04.200 was, are witches real or something? Or did the Salem witch trials not go far enough? Or it was
00:29:09.960 some kind of provocative question. And it was the girl. I got accused of lecturing a girl about
00:29:13.880 witchcraft. I did not do that. It was actually the opposite. The girl lectured me about witchcraft
00:29:18.120 and she had the perfect answer. She goes, yeah, yeah. They didn't go far enough or whatever 1.00
00:29:23.720 because witches are real. And I got in trouble for that. They put that on my Wikipedia. It was
00:29:28.120 her and she was right. The girl was totally right. This is witchcraft. It brings me to the top of the
00:29:34.760 show. If you're upset about sexualizing women's sports, if you're upset about focusing on women's
00:29:40.140 bodies when you talk about women's sports, what do you think women's sports are? If you're upset
00:29:44.880 about me calling this woman a witch and all the Lindsay Clancy supporters witches, what do you
00:29:48.420 think witchcraft is? Witchcraft is this bizarre occultic kind of pseudo-religion where you
00:29:54.320 investigate the divine feminine and you think about the cosmic mission of the women. A mission 0.98
00:30:04.660 that is not just like praying for your neighbor, a mission that involves murdering children. This
00:30:08.340 is like literally what the Salem witch trials were accusing these women of. And the problem 0.99
00:30:13.400 with the Salem witch trials is they were Protestant rather than Catholic. We can get 0.99
00:30:17.180 into that. We'll get into that some other time. But like this is textbook witchcraft and it's
00:30:24.000 happening right now. We have a hard time reading history. There's a massive, egregious, enormous
00:30:31.600 kind of persecution of Christians that's going on right now. Most people, probably most Christians
00:30:37.020 can't even recognize it. We'll get to that in a second. First though, speaking of religion and 0.99
00:30:41.600 history in the old times, I am so excited to tell you about Heaven in Stone and Glass. Go to
00:30:46.960 heaveninstoningglass.com slash group. Imagine beginning a project knowing you may never live
00:30:52.540 to see it finished. That is how some of the great cathedrals were built. People devoted their lives
00:30:56.640 to creating something that was not primarily for themselves and that would still be standing
00:31:00.840 centuries after everyone involved was gone. I just got to go to Europe. We were on a secret project
00:31:06.960 and I get to see some of these beautiful, beautiful cathedrals. I'm really, really excited because I
00:31:11.340 also got to read the audio book of Bishop Barron's excellent book and new documentary, Heaven in
00:31:18.220 Stone and Glass. It travels through five of France's great Gothic cathedrals to uncover the
00:31:23.140 theology behind these extraordinary buildings. They were not simply places to gather on Sunday.
00:31:27.720 They were statements about God, man, beauty, eternity, and what a culture believed was worth
00:31:33.500 sacrificing to create. Really, really important stuff. I absolutely love it. It tells you a lot
00:31:39.300 about our civilization, about the Middle Ages, how faithful Christians understood their culture, 0.99
00:31:45.460 and in our society, which just has a bunch of millennial, bland, gray, prison-looking buildings, 0.90
00:31:51.640 it gives you something to aspire to for what we can be. See Heaven in Stone and Glass in theaters

00:32:05.800 has stolen a child from Catholic parents because the Catholic parents refused to participate in
00:32:12.060 gender ideology. A lot of you are going to hear that and you're going to say, this is still going
00:32:15.940 on in the big two six. I thought we were done with that years ago. Well, the case began a couple
00:32:21.440 years ago. This was 2024. So kind of the end of peak woke. The election of Donald Trump in 2024
00:32:31.620 War marks the end of Woke One. So this was a few months before that. This Massachusetts family
00:32:38.100 lost custody of their teenage daughter. Child Protective Services showed up, took the daughter
00:32:44.260 away from this Catholic couple because the couple is Catholic. The daughter, her name is Sophie,
00:32:52.880 she apparently had been transed by her public school. The daughter's school, Algonquin Regional
00:33:00.580 high school in Southboro, Massachusetts, had secretly been transing this girl Sophie. According
00:33:05.820 to the report, the school, quote, exposed Sophie to a culture steeped in gender ideology and blamed
00:33:11.880 and a school counselor socially transitioned the daughter to become a boy without the knowledge
00:33:18.860 or permission of the parents. So the active party here was the school pushing this Gnostic,
00:33:24.440 occultic, hideously dangerous ideology onto the daughter. That's bad enough because the school
00:33:32.160 is an agent of the state. Then somebody calls CPS and they remove the daughter from the Catholic 0.99
00:33:39.820 parents' home. They steal the Catholic's daughter because the Catholic parents said, well, yeah, 0.58
00:33:45.340 we don't believe in that. We, not just because we're Catholic, but we, like statistically,
00:33:50.520 every single religious group, every single person who's ever lived everywhere for all of history.
00:33:56.100 We don't believe that a boy can become a girl or the girl can become a boy.
00:34:00.140 So we're not going to inflict what we think is a false ideology onto our kid,
00:34:05.140 particularly when it's an ideology that when you adopt it,
00:34:08.300 makes you much more likely to be depressed, anxious, and to kill yourself
00:34:11.740 and to engage in harmful mutilations that don't improve any of those numbers
00:34:17.200 and actually make at least one of them worse.
00:34:18.840 that's what they said and they said oh yeah well we're going to take your daughter from you
00:34:24.060 so what is this we read about the persecutions of christians by the state in the first century
00:34:33.800 in the roman empire in the earliest days of christianity first and second centuries we read
00:34:38.880 about that and we say wow that's crazy can you believe there was a time back before the
00:34:45.040 Enlightenment, back before political liberalism, back before widespread democracy, where the state
00:34:51.320 would go in and punish people for their religious beliefs. So might. You know, at the height of the
00:34:57.280 Roman Empire, the idea of just stealing a person's kid, I mean, that's harsh even for some of those
00:35:03.720 pagan Romans. We can't recognize that the very same thing is happening right now. This is extreme
00:35:11.620 religious persecution that is most particularly focused on Catholics, but it's against Christians
00:35:17.200 broadly and it's against religious people broadly. Don't forget when the Biden administration
00:35:20.960 was spying on religious people, calling them extremists, it was the Catholic churches they
00:35:26.400 were spying on. I know Biden was nominally Catholic, but they focused most particularly
00:35:31.760 on the Catholics. The Catholic church is really the chief enemy of the political left. Don't forget
00:35:36.620 the political left rises in the French revolution specifically to oppose the Catholic church. It was 0.51
00:35:41.500 the people who sat on the left side of the National Assembly who were there because they
00:35:44.820 opposed the Catholic Church. And there's fall over here, there's spill over to plenty of other
00:35:51.580 Christian groups and all sorts of other religious groups too. But that's really where their ire is.
00:35:56.060 Almost like it's a demonic, satanic kind of ire that comes from the pits of hell, you know,
00:36:01.420 from all time. In any case, this is it. This is it. And it helps us understand history because
00:36:08.980 we just think, you know, in the bad old-timey days, there were these really bad people with
00:36:12.300 really bad intentions who did really bad things. Whether they were persecuting women in the Salem
00:36:16.440 Witch Trials or whether they were persecuting Christians in the Roman Empire, they were just,
00:36:19.840 they were the bad men. And then they persecuted the good men. And we would never do that because 0.85
00:36:24.420 we're good men. Many people who think of themselves as good are doing this right now.
00:36:33.820 The CPS officers who took this kid away from her parents, they think they're doing the right thing.
00:36:37.980 And the school counselors who transed this poor little girl, they think they're the good guys. 0.95
00:36:44.180 The state of Massachusetts, which is allowing all this to happen, they think they're the good guys. 0.69
00:36:47.620 The Biden DOJ that was persecuting Catholics, they think they're the good guys.
00:36:53.600 That's the issue.
00:36:55.760 The ancient pagans thought they were doing the right thing too.
00:36:59.860 The people during the Salem Witch Trials thought they were doing the right thing too.
00:37:03.540 And the really, really crazy part is that the, I'm not like totally pro Salem witch trial. I'm
00:37:08.760 actually fairly opposed to some of the particulars. The men who ran the Salem witch trials
00:37:15.100 were on much more solid moral footing than the state of Massachusetts today.
00:37:21.600 On much more solid moral footing than the Lindsay Clancy supporters and others. Okay.
00:37:27.540 There was some good news. I don't want to leave you on this totally negative news about the LGBT 1.00
00:37:33.040 ideology in Massachusetts. We turn to the great state of Texas before it is taken over by James

00:38:15.880 content or I do a cigar review or I do anyway, I'm very offended, but you can judge for yourself.
00:38:20.380 Here's run, hide, fight. Every significant movement in history has started with protesting.
00:38:25.820 Uncle Tom. This is our generation's civil rights. I have no idea what the protest is about. Bingo.

00:39:42.820 as we have all of these debates heading into the 2028 presidential elections over political
00:39:47.900 liberalism and neoconservatism and post-liberalism and traditionalism and authoritarianism whatever
00:39:53.960 A bunch of nonsense that's probably going to have no effect on the primary whatsoever.
00:39:58.120 I want you to pay attention to this story.
00:40:00.940 Texas A&M has just announced that it is cutting over 200 classes across its 11 system universities.
00:40:13.400 And those classes, they're not cutting accounting.
00:40:15.600 They're not cutting biology.
00:40:17.340 They're cutting courses on LGBTQ studies, on ethnic studies, on climate change studies.
00:40:23.240 The courses that are going to be removed include Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies, LGBTQ Literatures, Introduction to Latinx Literature Studies. Remember Latinx? They didn't want to say Latino. They didn't want to say Hispanic, so then they said Latino, but they didn't want to say Latino because that offends Latinas.
00:40:41.060 So they did Latinx, which offends all of the Latinxes because the X would be an English
00:40:46.800 convention, not a Spanish convention. Anyway, they're getting rid of that whole thing. Women
00:40:51.860 writers, introduction to race and ethnicity, gender and health, blacks in the United States,
00:40:56.600 capital B, Bible as literature, not as truth, but as literature and climate change. Why are they
00:41:02.720 doing this? Why is that? First of all, you say Texas A&M had all those classes. A&M, that ain't
00:41:09.000 Yale or Harvard? That ain't Wellesley. A&M has that nonsense. I expected from some of the Ivy
00:41:16.080 League schools or the very liberal arts schools, but come on. But yes, it's all the schools. It's
00:41:21.400 all the state schools. It's all of them. And they're cutting the classes. The reason they're
00:41:27.140 cutting the classes is because the Texas legislature made them. Take this lesson,
00:41:34.660 please, conservatives, especially my libertarian friends, especially my friends who are worried
00:41:39.220 about authoritarianism and the heavy hand of the state and tyranny, pay attention. There was a
00:41:45.440 review that began because of a state law that Texas legislators passed requiring public university
00:41:52.720 boards to examine what classes their undergraduates must take in order to graduate for their various
00:41:57.800 majors. At the flagship campus of A&M, which I've been to a number of times at College Station,
00:42:03.400 78 of those classes will no longer count toward core requirements.
00:42:07.720 They pass the law.
00:42:08.860 They do the review.
00:42:09.800 They say there's a bunch of nonsense at the university system.
00:42:12.060 They cut hundreds of classes.
00:42:15.860 Are you happy about this or upset about this?
00:42:18.860 I'm speaking specific.
00:42:19.940 I know the libs who are watching are probably upset about this.
00:42:23.520 Maybe not all of them, but of the conservatives.
00:42:26.400 There are going to be some conservatives.
00:42:28.640 They're really libertarians who say, well, I don't like this because I don't like it
00:42:32.540 when the state is getting involved and we need to leave this up to the free market and to cultural
00:42:36.400 change and politics is downstream of culture and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I don't want to
00:42:41.080 straw man, but I think there will be some people who have that reaction because there's some people
00:42:44.340 who are just always so fearful of authoritarianism and tyranny and they only want to focus on
00:42:48.200 individual rights. I think it's a good change that the public university in Texas is no longer
00:42:55.800 teaching kids about a bunch of racial and sexual nonsense. I think that's good. I think that's
00:43:01.520 important. I think that's deeply conservative. I think that the modern conservative movement
00:43:05.340 began with William F. Buckley Jr., the founder of National Review, who wrote a whole book
00:43:09.540 about how dumb academic freedom is and how we all need to band together to get atheist and
00:43:14.220 socialist professors fired at private universities. Forget about public universities, even private 0.89
00:43:18.940 universities. That's how the modern conservative movement started. What made them do this was not
00:43:26.540 the free market. It was not changing consumer preferences. It was not the culture. It was the
00:43:33.400 strong hand of the state. That's what did it. And that's good. And that's what we need more of.
00:43:41.420 This has been an observation that some people have come to in recent years, even those who are
00:43:44.880 a little more inclined toward laissez-faire, libertarian kind of politics, which is if you
00:43:49.820 have two parties in the United States, in any political system, you have two parties.
00:43:53.760 One party wants to wield power, and one party wants to give up power.
00:43:59.260 Guess which party is going to win?
00:44:01.260 For the last at least 30 years, maybe 40, 50 years,
00:44:06.140 there have been many people on the right who want to just give up power entirely.
00:44:10.540 Now, I don't want to wield power capriciously, arbitrarily, without limits, tyrannically.
00:44:16.000 I want to wield power in a just way that is circumscribed with inappropriate limits,
00:44:20.800 that is ordered toward the common good.
00:44:22.840 it's either that or the Tallaricos of the world. It's either that or the guys who want to trans 1.00
00:44:29.500 the kids and have a favorite drag queen and flood the country with illegals and take away all your 0.99
00:44:33.720 money and take away all your guns and sell out the country to communists and jihadis. Go watch 0.99
00:44:39.420 Run, Hide, Fight. There's no member block today. I've got to fly back because of being in Arkansas,
00:44:44.580 but I will be back. We're doing a friendly fire tonight and I'll be back in studio tomorrow.
00:44:49.360 I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show. See you then.
00:44:52.840 Thank you.
