00:01:49.760 Knowles. More details emerge in the federal raid of Democrat Congress Lady Ilhan Omar's home
00:01:56.020 and the reason for the raid is actually pretty juicy. We will get into all the details. But for
00:02:02.200 the first time in this whole saga, I am beginning to think that there is a semi-realistic chance
00:02:08.100 that Ilhan Omar gets booted out of the country. Then liberal undergrads officially have a higher
00:02:13.440 opinion of Palestine than the United States. And President Trump comments on Ohio Republican
00:02:20.560 Senate nominee John Husted's hot bod. I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show.

00:04:32.440 First up, Ilhan Omar. All right. We may have broken the story among the podcasts. Obviously,
00:04:39.060 the news broke from the news agencies. But we may have broken the story among the podcast yesterday
00:04:44.820 because Ilhan Omar's home was raided, and the news came out about that just minutes before we
00:04:52.180 went live. So there wasn't a lot to report. We knew that DHS conducted a pre-dawn raid on the
00:04:57.180 home of Somali Democrat Congress Lady Ilhan Omar. We know that for a month or two now,
00:05:03.860 There has been a federal investigation pertaining to immigration and Ilhan Omar.
00:05:08.940 We know that for years there have been rumors that Ilhan Omar helped to commit immigration fraud for someone else, for her brother who became her husband.
00:05:18.340 But it's all been rumors and innuendo and insinuations.
00:05:22.120 And even the claims that Ilhan Omar committed immigration fraud have always been about someone else.
00:05:29.720 that she would have been an accessory to immigration fraud for her brother-husband.
00:05:34.860 And therefore, I never got my hopes up that Ilhan Omar was going to be deported.
00:05:39.300 Would love for her to be deported. She giggles about Al-Qaeda. 0.80
00:05:42.460 She doesn't consider herself American. She's just awful. 0.99
00:05:45.920 But I never got my hopes up. I never allowed myself to hope.
00:05:50.700 Until now, the details are coming out. So what does Ilhan Omar say?
00:05:53.540 She says, I'm okay. Make no mistake. This is an attempt. Sorry.
00:05:57.700 I'm okay. Make no mistake. This is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement for 10 years. Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. Al-Qaeda. No, I added that part in. But she said that. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.
00:06:21.220 Okay.
00:06:22.340 Okay.
00:06:24.140 She's keeping a straight face.
00:06:26.380 She's standing firm.
00:06:27.500 This is political targeting.
00:06:29.580 And you say, all right, hold on.
00:06:30.800 These rumors about Ilhan Omar have been going on for years,
00:06:33.560 including when Trump was out of office.
00:06:35.780 This was a raid that was signed off on by a judge.
00:06:40.160 The judges are not exactly on Trump's side, generally speaking.
00:06:43.300 This has been a case that has been building from the DOJ for a long time.
00:06:46.760 So I don't think you can just blame Trump for this.
00:06:50.360 what's this about? So while we all thought that the raid was about Ilhan Omar marrying her brother,
00:07:00.120 helping some other guy commit immigration fraud, it seems that the case is actually about Ilhan
00:07:06.020 Omar's immigration status. According to the reporting, which we're getting now from New York
00:07:11.400 Post, Fox News, elsewhere, the most likely scenario, according to multiple people familiar
00:07:17.240 with the investigation is that immigration cops are looking into a long floated rumor
00:07:22.380 that Ilhan Omar is actually a year older than she says she is. So, okay, hold on. Wait, what? This
00:07:28.780 is the first a lot of people are hearing about this. The issue is that Ilhan Omar is a, I mean,
00:07:33.640 a lady never tells, but why does it matter if she's a year older than she says she is?
00:07:37.360 Because Ilhan Omar became a U.S. citizen at the age of 17. She became a U.S. citizen at the age
00:07:43.780 of 17 through a program that allowed the minor children brought over by naturalized citizens
00:07:50.240 to more easily gain U.S. citizenship. Had she been 18, she would not have been eligible for
00:07:58.080 the program. So if Ilhan Omar is a year older than she says she is, all of a sudden, her
00:08:05.060 naturalization could have been illegitimate. But when you think it's too good to be true, 0.97
00:08:10.540 it usually is. There is a statute of limitations on committing that kind of fraud. Apparently,
00:08:14.960 there's a 10-year statute of limitations. Ilhan Omar is older than 27 or 28. Therefore,
00:08:20.760 it's not helpful, right? Well, except that if Ilhan Omar continued to use the fraudulent
00:08:29.840 birth date on new documents, on passports, on driver's licenses, etc., the statute of limitations
00:08:36.460 resets. So assuming that Ilhan Omar has put that fake birth date on any documents in the last 10
00:08:43.720 years, all of a sudden this could be a live issue again. And President Trump has responded to the
00:08:50.540 investigation. I understand they're looking at her very carefully. I've always found her to be
00:08:58.720 totally crooked personally, but that has nothing to do with me. I think she's a terrible person, 0.97
00:09:03.840 just a complainer. She comes from a country that is a non-country. And then she comes over here and 1.00
00:09:11.320 she complains about our constitution. I think she's a terrible person, but that's really up
00:09:16.440 to the DOJ. I have nothing to do. Okay, so Trump comes out, he's asked about the Ilhan Omar raid,
00:09:21.420 and he just gives general criticisms of Ilhan Omar. She's a terrible person. She's not really
00:09:26.580 American. She doesn't consider herself American. But whatever, the investigation's into the DOJ.
00:09:31.620 So he doesn't go into the details.
00:09:33.540 I'm not convinced that President Trump is all that involved in this.
00:09:36.680 I mean, he is officially not involved at all.
00:09:38.520 I'm not sure he's even all that briefed on the Ilhan Omar issue.
00:09:42.240 Because this has been building for a long time.
00:09:45.180 And if this were merely political reprisal, first of all,
00:09:48.700 Trump has bigger enemies to take care of than Ilhan Omar, who is largely irrelevant.
00:09:53.100 She gets a lot of publicity, but she's not really all that powerful.
00:09:56.080 uh this really seems to have been built from the doj from dhs signed off on by a federal judge
00:10:02.520 if she lied about her birth date they might have her dead to rights this is the first time for
00:10:09.600 years now you know i'm the realistic one i'm the one all the podcasters all the influencers they
00:10:14.480 get all sorts of carried away they get all excited talarico's definitely a loony bin and
00:10:19.780 the walls are closing in and and i always say hold on hold on if it sounds too good to be true
00:10:24.880 usually is. In this case, there is a chance that you could see Ilhan Omar booted out of Congress,
00:10:33.600 denaturalized, and booted out of the country. It is, I'm not saying it's likely, I'm saying
00:10:38.160 it is possible. And just to get to Trump's criticism here, because he's not going into
00:10:42.880 detail on the technicalities, forget about the technicalities. Let's say she didn't lie about
00:10:46.420 her birthday. Listen to how Ilhan Omar speaks about her country. I'm going to have to translate
00:10:50.920 for you because she's not speaking English.
00:10:56.080 We must fix our roads.
00:10:57.600 I am an American migrant in the U.S. Congress, but I am a Somali girl, a girl with your lineage,
00:11:10.220 she's obviously speaking to Somalis, a girl with your language, a girl with your religion,
00:11:13.360 that was a young child taken from her country that misses her country and wishes to live there
00:11:22.080 and share with its people, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Taken from her country as if the 0.69
00:11:28.560 U.S. kidnapped her, as if the U.S. went to Somalia and said, we really want all these Somalis. 0.89
00:11:33.220 You're coming with us like it's a slave ship or something. We didn't ask for the Somalis. 0.99
00:11:37.640 The Somalis came. We very generously gave them a place to live and gave them mortgages and gave 0.51
00:11:43.840 them welfare and allowed them to defraud us and all the rest. And still, Ilhan Omar says that
00:11:51.040 she is Somali, not American. Ilhan Omar is in no meaningful sense American. So why on earth would
00:11:57.940 we tolerate her being here? Add on to that, that she may have actually violated the immigration 0.93
00:12:03.020 law. And it just throws into stark relief how perverse our immigration system is. You have a
00:12:09.300 person here who we know with near certainty broke immigration law in the case of a brother, husband.
00:12:14.840 We know that it's increasingly likely that she committed immigration fraud herself. 0.56
00:12:21.380 We know she publicly disses the country, says she doesn't identify as an American, identifies as a
00:12:27.420 foreigner, wants to go live in a foreign country, but she likes the goodies that are here. So she
00:12:31.140 wants to bring some of that largesse to her real constituency, Somalis. She is constantly 1.00
00:12:37.360 attacking the foundations of our country. If we can't boot her out, we can't boot anybody out. 0.99
00:12:44.740 It shows you the great obstacles that the immigration common censors, the immigration 0.55
00:12:51.100 restrictions, the people who want to restore some order to our demos are facing. It makes you offer
00:12:57.200 a little bit of grace, I think, to President Trump that he's only deported two and a half
00:13:00.940 million people instead of, I don't know. He's actually almost three million people have left
00:13:05.980 the country since the beginning of the second term, but about two and a half of them are
00:13:09.420 illegal aliens. And you say, oh, I want it to be three and a half. I want it to be four and a half.
00:13:12.440 Do you realize what Trump is up against? It gives you a little grace here and gives you a little
00:13:17.920 hope when it comes to Ilhan Omar. Now, we'll see what happens first. Are we going to deport Ilhan
00:13:22.120 Omar or the Democrats going to retake the Senate? Right now, our friends over at Kalshi
00:13:25.200 are not painting a great picture. We'll get to that in a second. Then we'll get to President
00:13:28.500 Trump commenting on the Ohio Republican Senate nominee's super hot bod. First, though, I want
00:13:34.420 to tell you about Ave Maria Mutual Funds. There's a lot more to say. First, though, go to
00:13:38.380 AveMariaFunds.com slash Michael, M-I-C-H-A-E-L. Perhaps you have not heard that the midterm
00:13:46.340 elections are around the corner. Everyone talks about voting with your wallet. Very few people
00:13:51.480 think about investing with your wallet. The companies you invest in are the companies you
00:13:56.040 are helping to grow. That is not a political statement. It is just how investing works. That
00:14:00.240 is one of the many reasons that I'm proud to serve on the board of Ave Maria Mutual Funds. Since 2001,
00:14:05.740 they have helped investors pursue financial goals without leaving their values behind.
00:14:09.580 They now manage nearly $4 billion in assets from more than 100,000 shareholders.
00:14:13.720 Their approach is straightforward. They avoid investing in companies involved in abortion,
00:14:16.800 pornography, embryonic stem cell research, or companies supporting Planned Parenthood.

00:14:35.400 slash michael m-i-c-h-a-e-l but really really believe in these guys and what they're doing
00:14:39.680 it's very very important don't just check your values at the door when you're investing go to

00:15:07.120 Our pals over at Calci say that the Democrats have a 59% chance of taking the U.S. Senate.
00:15:11.860 that is really, really bad. It seems now a fait accompli that the Democrats are going to take the
00:15:19.580 U.S. House. Now, 59% chance with the Senate means you really have to get out there and vote. Vote
00:15:24.960 early, perhaps vote often, make sure that your vote counts, because the Senate's in play for
00:15:30.960 Republicans. It's not a lost cause, but it's in play. But the Senate's in play. That's brutal.
00:15:36.740 So what's going to happen? Let's just say the Democrats take the House and the Senate.
00:15:39.680 let's not doom and gloom let's not black pill let's do everything we can let's raise money
00:15:45.380 let's knock on doors let's go vote but let's say it happens we have to prepare what are they going
00:15:51.120 to do they're going to do one thing they're going to try to destroy trump that's what they're
00:15:58.720 actually going to do for better and for worse for some people that's going to come as a relief
00:16:02.260 they're going to say okay they're not going to implement this policy or that policy or this or
00:16:05.580 that they're only going to focus on trump well that's better than them focusing on all these
00:16:09.020 other policy areas that I care about. Okay, some people are going to realize it's a bad thing for
00:16:12.860 them to just try to destroy Trump because politics is an embodied practice. It involves teams and
00:16:18.540 people, and Trump is the leader of it. And this gets me to a point that I was talking about this
00:16:24.120 with a buddy the other night. He made an excellent observation, and it should really shape how we
00:16:29.320 view 2026 and 2028. When the left says that Trump is polarizing, that is literally true. That is
00:16:36.600 true in the most literal sense of polarizing. Polarizing referring to like polarity, like
00:16:42.080 magnets. You know, you get a bunch of little magnet fillings, whatever, and then you introduce
00:16:45.300 a magnet and all the magnets go to their respective sides. A lot has been said about
00:16:50.440 how Trump has reshaped the Republican Party. He comes in in 2016. There were all these factions
00:16:54.360 of the Republicans, the Tea Party and the Chamber of Commerce and the neocons and the Bushies and
00:17:00.160 this and traditionalists, religious right. And Trump comes in and he just completely reshapes
00:17:06.340 the party in his image. Less has been said about how Trump did the exact same thing to the Democrats.
00:17:13.340 With the Democrats, when Trump entered, there were different factions. There were the
00:17:19.340 identity politics Democrats, the increasingly woke Democrats. There were the economic progressive
00:17:27.020 Democrats. There were the neolib Democrats. There were still a handful of the blue dog Democrats. 0.84
00:17:33.220 Trump comes in, and he just reshapes the whole thing.
00:17:37.420 Now it is all just anti-Trump.
00:17:40.160 So Republican politics for the last 12 years has been defined not by policy, not by institutions,
00:17:48.220 it's been defined by whether or not you support Trump.
00:17:53.240 That's what it's about.
00:17:54.840 Is the Republican Party pro-tariff or anti-tariff?
00:17:57.080 I don't know.
00:17:57.500 It depends how Trump's feeling that day.
00:17:58.700 Is the Republican Party pro-foreign intervention or anti-foreign intervention?
00:18:02.580 It depends on how Trump's feeling that day.
00:18:05.280 People can whine and cry about that.
00:18:06.920 I don't whine and cry about that.
00:18:07.980 That's just a descriptive matter.
00:18:09.640 It's a fact about how politics works now.
00:18:11.960 The Republican Party is defined by whether or not you support Trump.
00:18:16.620 And so is the Democrat Party.
00:18:18.400 All these different people, all the way up to including Bill Kristol.
00:18:21.360 Bill Kristol, who's one of the intellectual leaders of the right for decades,
00:18:24.020 is now a pink hat wearing Democrat simply because he opposes Trump.
00:18:28.700 okay so trump is is a truly polarizing figure which means if trump leaves the political arena
00:18:38.000 and i'm not convinced he will i think he'll probably still exert a lot of influence on
00:18:41.500 the gop which means he'll exert a lot of influence on the whole politics which means it will still
00:18:45.300 be about him but if he were to uh remove himself to some degree after he leaves office you're
00:18:52.380 going to get chaos. You're going to get absolute total chaos. You're going to see old factions
00:18:58.380 emerging. You're already starting to see that in the shadow war for 2028. But what you are also
00:19:04.580 going to get is this reaction to Trump. Everything is going to have to be about punishing Trump and
00:19:10.420 everybody around him. If the Democrats, bringing us back to our first point on Kelsey, if the
00:19:15.380 Democrats retake the House and the Senate, you are certainly going to see movements to impeach him.
00:19:20.460 What you're mostly going to see, though, is just endless investigations, endless subpoenas, endless investigations of all of Trump's associates, all of Trump's family, all of Trump's employees, all of Trump's employees, neighbors, all of Trump's employees, neighbors, third cousins that live in a different state.
00:19:37.640 Anyone even remotely close to the blast radius of Trump, and Trump is a very potent figure, you are going to see very personal attacks on them. 0.51
00:19:45.140 uh it it kind of was ever thus because no matter what some of the squishier republicans and whatever
00:19:53.880 the democrats want to say they say politics isn't just about trump it isn't about one man it kind
00:19:57.460 of is kind of he is he's our napoleon okay and that's what it's about that is what they are going
00:20:03.200 to do and the fallout from that is going to be brutal because if the democrats simply had a
00:20:08.420 policy agenda at least you could counter that with rational arguments but they don't they are out for
00:20:14.280 revenge. They are out for blood. Some of them tried to murder Trump and other Republicans along
00:20:19.540 the way, and many of the other Democrats have encouraged that, have supported that. They were
00:20:23.580 literally out for blood in some cases. That's your next two years, two and a half years,
00:20:29.080 if President Trump, if the Republicans in the House and the Senate lose their power. That's
00:20:35.180 what you're looking at. And soon enough, they'll come for you. You don't need to believe me on this.
00:20:39.640 The chief law enforcement officer in the state of New York, Letitia James, was just in a midterm 0.97
00:20:45.140 election debate with her opponent. It's the debate for state attorney general. Letitia James
00:20:50.740 accidentally let the cat out of the bag that facts in the law are not relevant to her and 1.00
00:20:56.920 the Democrats' policy agenda. Ms. James, should prediction markets be regulated by the state
00:21:03.160 government or the federal government? Yes, we've sued too. Sounds like you mean the state.
00:21:07.840 Yeah. Okay.
00:21:09.920 Just call me to ready. That's a pending case. Then it's an important one. I have to look at
00:21:13.540 the facts in the law when I'm attorney general on January one, I'll do that.
00:21:16.360 You don't have to look at the facts in the law. All you have to do is study what they do.
00:21:19.380 It is illegal in the state of New York. Well, there you go. You don't have to look
00:21:22.080 at the facts in the law, gentlemen, your attorney general.
00:21:24.440 You don't have to look at the facts in the law. Democrats 2026. That was a true Freudian slip.
00:21:32.220 You know what a Freudian slip is where you say one thing, but me and your mother,
00:21:34.580 that was a true Freudian slip from Letitia James. You don't have to look at the facts in the law.
00:21:41.440 I'm suing. Letitia James, when she ran for AG the first time, she basically ran on that motto.
00:21:47.400 She said, elect me and I'll get Trump. The exact same point we were just talking about.
00:21:52.060 Here, she's talking about prediction markets and calci. And in fact, part of the reason they don't
00:21:56.640 like prediction markets is because a lot of conservative Republicans are involved in
00:21:59.600 prediction markets. It's another issue. But she says, no, no, no, forget about that. I'm going
00:22:04.060 to get Trump. Vote for me. I'm going to get Trump. I already know my criminal. I'll come up with the
00:22:08.300 crime afterward. Don't worry. I've already got my verdict. I'm going to come up with the case before
00:22:12.920 that. I'm going to come up with the reasoning before that. Same thing here. This is true with
00:22:18.880 everything. I've got my answer. I'll fill in the blanks. I know that we need a lot of weird sex
00:22:25.500 stuff. I'll fill in the blanks of the biological arguments for trans or LGBT or whatever. I'll 1.00
00:22:30.580 fill that in beforehand. I know that we're going to kill babies. We have to kill babies for the 1.00
00:22:35.400 liberal conception of women's freedom. I'll backfill the ethical and biological arguments 1.00
00:22:39.920 afterward. I know that we're going to give amnesty to all the illegals. I'll backfill the arguments 0.93
00:22:45.460 afterward. Forget about that. You don't need facts and the law. Democrats, 2026. That's what
00:22:54.200 they're campaigning on. Get ready. Okay, so let's look at the other side. Let's focus in on the
00:23:01.500 midterms from the Republican angle. We will move from the facts and the law to something much more
00:23:05.360 important, which is, of course, physique. President Trump goes viral yesterday, all the left-wing
00:23:09.620 accounts posting this, because he seems to be commenting on, complimenting the apparently hot
00:23:18.340 body of the republican nominee for senate in ohio that means i like ohio we have to get vivek
00:23:26.100 and we have to get john gotta get them in and i think they will i think they're going to be a
00:23:32.040 good check but i'm standing over here and i don't do this with men very often i started examining
00:23:37.780 his body because i didn't know he was a great athlete and i looked and i watched up and down 0.94
00:23:44.160 I looked at his ass and I looked at the whole, and then I looked at his hands, look at his hands. 0.99
00:23:50.320 He's got these like claws and I got it. You are a great athlete. I didn't. 1.00
00:23:58.700 Watching Trump do this. This is like watching Michelangelo paint the ceiling. Okay. And you
00:24:05.180 know, some of you might not even be aware that that is what you're watching.
00:24:08.400 watching trump do this whatever this is you are watching babe ruth call his shot okay you are
00:24:17.480 watching jordan in his prime why what is he doing people look at this even conservatives
00:24:22.980 look at this and say this is weird why is he talking about a guy why is he talking about
00:24:27.420 anybody's hot body why is he talking about a guy's hot body the the senate nominee for the republicans
00:24:32.820 what is he doing? One, he knows exactly what he's doing. I realized this when I saw Trump.
00:24:40.720 I've only been to one Trump rally. I've been around the president. I've been fortunate enough
00:24:44.420 to be in rooms with the president on a number of occasions. I've been a huge admirer of his
00:24:48.400 for 10 years, more than 10 years. I'm a New Yorker, so as a kid, Trump was on every newspaper
00:24:53.960 and every tabloid. But I saw it at MSG, at the MSG rally. When he walked out on stage,
00:25:02.300 I appreciate it for the first time, which is that Trump is Elvis. He knows how to work the audience
00:25:08.940 with a precision that you see from Elvis and very few other people. He knows exactly
00:25:14.580 the effect that his words will have. So he comes out here and he makes these comments that seem
00:25:19.920 super gay, but nobody thinks that Trump is gay, right? Nobody, the Democrats are trying to
00:25:25.660 insinuate that now. It ties them in a knot because they think that gay is a good thing 0.92
00:25:28.660 and everything Trump does is bad, but they're kind of insinuating that he's gay as an insult. 0.94
00:25:32.300 but nobody thinks Trump's gay. Whatever you want to say about Trump, he probably ain't gay, right? 0.88
00:25:36.860 This is a man who is most famous for being a little bit of a ladies' man, billionaire playboy, 0.53
00:25:42.640 supermodels on each arm. Nobody thinks that he's gay. So why is he making these comments? 0.71
00:25:48.800 Well, in part, the way he's speaking here, it's kind of like baseball players going out and 0.95
00:25:53.540 smacking each other on the behind, you know, after that seems kind of gay too, but it's not. 0.88
00:25:58.340 It's kind of like, it's like a big macho guy wearing a pink polo shirt for that matter. You 0.98
00:26:01.840 You know, something that is apparently effeminate on the outside
00:26:04.480 is just containing the virility, the animal beast on the inside.
00:26:09.960 What it really is here is having a little bit of fun.
00:26:14.580 I don't know.
00:26:15.760 You know, like baseball players doing that.
00:26:17.820 No one thinks they're gay, unless it's the Boston Red Sox.
00:26:19.920 Nobody thinks they're gay, right?
00:26:21.800 It's having a little bit of fun. 1.00
00:26:24.460 It's being a little weird.
00:26:25.300 It's being a little unexpected.
00:26:26.560 But what is the political point of this?
00:26:29.100 the political point is were you talking about john hustad yesterday no were you talking about
00:26:37.780 john hustad two days ago or three days ago or ever in your life no you weren't are you talking about
00:26:45.120 john hustad now yeah everybody is because that clip is going viral because it was so weird
00:26:50.220 and what are you saying about john hustad what are you thinking about him because trump could
00:26:57.260 come out he said john hustet has a very good economic agenda and he's going to vote to cut
00:27:02.960 taxes and he is going to keep our country safe and he is a good upright family man and he is
00:27:10.800 he goes out what if he's basically doing an al pacino please pardon the slightly no but he's
00:27:19.040 basically going out there like pacino in that movie he's got a greater than you got your head
00:27:23.120 all the way. He's going out there and calling your attention to this man who needs a lot of
00:27:28.880 support because we could lose Ohio right now. And that would be very, very bad because Ohio's
00:27:32.200 a Republican state. And all you're thinking about him is John Husted. He looks good.
00:27:39.600 Trump couldn't get you to think about John Husted if he didn't say something weird.
00:27:42.980 And he couldn't get you to think about John Husted in this way that is very visual. Trump
00:27:46.240 is always very graphic, very visual. He kind of paints with his poetic diction. He did that with
00:27:52.020 all the nicknames in 2016 onward. And all you're thinking is John Husted, he's an athlete. He's
00:27:57.160 strong. But instead of saying like, John Husted, strong for Ohio, strong for America, like some
00:28:03.660 stupid political campaign. Instead, you're thinking like, wow, he's got really firm glutes. 1.00
00:28:08.780 He's got really powerful hands. It's just so much more evocative. Drives the left crazy.
00:28:16.740 it's kind of funny we're in on the joke Trump is doing he's like saying a thing that's kind of gay 0.97
00:28:23.660 but we all know he's not gay so we're like in on the joke drives his enemies crazy and what's the
00:28:30.560 upshot of it John Husted's name ID goes up the positive image of him goes up there's a chance
00:28:36.200 that we win Ohio there's a chance we hold the Senate love it love it man that's we're just
00:28:42.500 watching Political Michelangelo. Okay, speaking of weird sex stuff, I do have to get to Tobey
00:28:46.920 McGuire officiating the wedding of his wife to another man. First, I want to tell you about GOP
00:28:53.600 Votes. There's a lot more to say. First, though, go to gopvotes.org. The Democratic Socialists of
00:28:58.720 America won primaries across the country. Next, they're coming for Congress, and they're coming
00:29:02.940 for you. If they win the midterms, they will defund the police, reopen our border, and force
00:29:07.480 men into women's sports. You are the last line of defense, and gopvotes.org is your partner in the
00:29:13.240 fight. Go to gopvotes.org right now. Make a plan to vote early if you live in the critical Senate
00:29:18.200 battleground states of Maine, Ohio, or Iowa. Early voting is already underway this week.
00:29:22.860 Democrats are energized, and the stakes have never been higher. We cannot afford to have people like
00:29:27.620 AOC and her communist cronies running the show. That is why I need you to make a plan to vote
00:29:33.680 early. Right now, go to gopvotes.org. Find your polling location. Vote early. Stop the socialist
00:29:39.480 takeover of America. Paid for by SLF PAC, not authorized by any candidate or candidate's
00:29:44.940 committee. Tobey Maguire has gone viral for officiating the wedding of his wife to another
00:29:52.980 man. This other man is the heir to a Nigerian billionaire. So, you know, I guess, I don't know,
00:30:01.520 I guess all the kids will probably do well, get a decent inheritance.
00:30:05.320 There are a lot of kids here.
00:30:08.480 The wife and Tobey Maguire got married decades ago.
00:30:13.760 Then she and Maguire separated.
00:30:16.540 I think they met on the set of Seabiscuit.
00:30:19.100 They were married for a long time, had a couple kids.
00:30:21.340 She and Maguire separated 10 years ago.
00:30:24.160 They filed for divorce six years ago.
00:30:27.840 They got divorced last month.
00:30:30.220 they got divorced last month now toby mcguire is officiating the wedding now four months ago
00:30:37.540 so before the divorce was finalized this woman gave birth to the new husband jeffrey
00:30:42.840 ogun lezzy's daughter but she of course has teenage kids with toby mcguire and everybody
00:30:50.620 was at the wedding and toby mcguire was officiating oh man everybody's making fun of
00:30:58.320 toby mcguire for this and they're like calling him a cuckold because he's like it's not it's
00:31:03.540 not just that his wife you know is with another man he's like officiating the wedding so you say
00:31:08.000 okay it's worse than that it's worse than that there's no evidence that this woman cheated on
00:31:13.840 toby mcguire there's no evidence that toby mcguire opposes this wedding uh there is precedent for
00:31:20.620 celebrities doing this kind of thing don't forget george harrison and eric clapton shared a wife
00:31:25.380 remember that one? She was George Harrison's wife. Then Eric Clapton fell in love with her. 0.75
00:31:29.760 George Harrison said, whatever, you're going to have her. And then George Harrison showed up to
00:31:32.600 the wedding. So, you know, stars are a little weird. The reason this has political import,
00:31:39.520 though, and the reason I suspect that Tobey Maguire agreed to officiate, that the wife asked
00:31:45.680 him to officiate, that they say they're best friends, but now she's marrying this other guy,
00:31:49.680 is because they think it seems nice. They think that this is the nice thing to do.
00:31:54.680 When couples divorce, it's so often acrimonious, and that's really bad for the kids.
00:32:00.460 And so, this is the nice thing to do.
00:32:03.160 This rests upon an even earlier error, which is this belief that has become popularized in recent decades, that it is better for kids if parents get divorced.
00:32:15.280 An idea that no one ever held anywhere ever for all of human history until like 40 years ago.
00:32:21.260 They said, it is better for,
00:32:22.700 previously, if mommy and daddy didn't like each other very much,
00:32:26.200 they'd try to work through their problems
00:32:27.300 and they would at least stay together for the sake of the kids.
00:32:29.840 But then, in the wake of the sexual revolution,
00:32:32.380 they said, no, no, no.
00:32:33.080 They came up with this new idea.
00:32:34.340 They said, it's actually, what's really good for the kids
00:32:37.460 is for mommy and daddy to be happy.
00:32:40.480 And the way that mommy and daddy are going to be happy
00:32:42.480 is by divorcing and dating other people. 1.00
00:32:45.360 That'll make them happy.
00:32:47.340 So there are two errors there.
00:32:48.640 one, it is not better for the kids, for parents to pursue their own happiness over the stability
00:32:57.880 and the good of the marriage, which exists for the procreation and education of children.
00:33:05.060 And when it is dissolved, it blows up the whole world of the kids. That's the first error.
00:33:09.260 The second error is the parents aren't even happy. They split up and they say they're going to be
00:33:13.840 happier and they're not. Just practically speaking, they're generally more miserable 0.71
00:33:16.800 because, especially when you have kids,
00:33:18.960 you can't actually end a marriage.
00:33:21.380 Because you still have to talk to the person.
00:33:23.300 You still have to arrange child visits.
00:33:25.220 You still have to figure out holidays.
00:33:26.860 You still have to deal with this person
00:33:28.200 for the rest of your life.
00:33:29.440 So it's not that you end the marriage.
00:33:32.160 It's not that, okay, fine,
00:33:33.180 I'm going to have some new problems,
00:33:34.220 but I'm going to at least end this bad marriage.
00:33:35.680 You just have a worse marriage. 1.00
00:33:37.180 And then maybe you have another marriage 0.88
00:33:38.640 to somebody else.
00:33:39.440 So anyway, all sorts of errors on top of that.
00:33:41.600 But then you have this newer error,
00:33:43.860 which is, you know what'll be really good?
00:33:46.800 okay, we divorced. It's bad. It's going to be a little tough for the kids, but you know what?
00:33:53.180 My ex and I, we're going to be really, really good friends. We're going to support each other.
00:33:55.980 We're going to go to each other's new weddings. Hey, I'll tell you what, let's have my ex-husband
00:34:00.360 officiate our wedding. Won't that be really nice? But it's not. It's worse. It's much,
00:34:05.180 much worse than even an acrimonious divorce because it creates the sin of scandal,
00:34:11.980 or it exemplifies the sin of scandal. Scandal is an obstacle. It's the sort of thing that
00:34:18.760 causes one to stumble, to lose one's faith, to lose one's understanding of the world.
00:34:24.240 And then what is the lesson that a kid is supposed to take from this?
00:34:27.560 Whether we're talking about these people's kids or other people's kids, what is the lesson that
00:34:32.940 we're supposed to take? The lesson we're supposed to take is that marriage is not permanent.
00:34:36.640 The lesson we're supposed to take is that the individual autonomy of individuals
00:34:41.720 trumps any responsibility they may have,
00:34:44.720 including the responsibility to their kids.
00:34:46.800 It makes it much more likely that people are going to,
00:34:49.060 that the kids are going to get divorced
00:34:50.140 later on down the road.
00:34:51.120 This is borne out statistically,
00:34:52.660 but it makes it more likely,
00:34:54.380 even just out of common sense,
00:34:56.000 because you have an understanding of marriage
00:34:57.820 which is no longer permanent,
00:34:59.240 which is no longer monogamous,
00:35:00.800 which is no longer anything even resembling marriage.
00:35:03.880 So I'm not going to beat up on Tobey Maguire.
00:35:05.800 I think it's kind of mean,
00:35:06.700 or even this wife or the billionaire heir
00:35:10.880 or any of these people, this is the natural outgrowth of our radical misunderstanding of
00:35:17.780 marriage today. I mean, in a world where Anthony Kennedy can say that marriage isn't even limited
00:35:22.540 to a man and a woman, that marriage is just derived from the right to intimacy that is
00:35:29.100 written in invisible ink in the Constitution, and the two fellas or two ladies or three guys
00:35:33.580 and a billy goat can get married. In that world, whatever Tobey Maguire is doing here is relatively
00:35:39.240 normal. At least the multiple marriages involved one man and one woman. But this is the fruit 0.89
00:35:48.960 of misunderstanding marriage and of trying to change the reality of marriage. This is the
00:35:54.500 inevitable fruit of that and began long before so-called gay marriage. It began many, many 0.93
00:35:58.640 decades ago. But does anyone think this is good? No. Everyone thinks this is shameful. Everyone
00:36:03.220 thinks this is wrong. Everyone thinks this is embarrassing. Everyone thinks this is bad for
00:36:06.240 the kids and everybody else. So are we going to have the courage to say, okay, if this is too
00:36:12.860 far, if this is bad, if this is obviously wrong, how far do we have to unwind to get back to
00:36:21.460 something good and right and normal? Because we don't just have to unwind to husbands don't
00:36:28.700 officiate the marriage of your wife to another man. We're going to have to unwind a little
00:36:32.580 further than that. We're going to definitely have to unwind back to the time when we realized
00:36:37.140 marriage is the union of a man and a woman. We're going to have to unwind a little further than
00:36:41.580 that. We're going to have to get to marriage is the union of a man and a woman ordered toward 0.99
00:36:45.880 procreation and the education of children. We're going to have to unwind a little earlier than 1.00
00:36:49.840 that, I think, though, to marriage is the union of one man and one woman ordered toward the
00:36:55.220 procreation and education of children for life, which is what marriage was understood to be,
00:37:01.180 certainly in our civilization, but basically everywhere in the world, forever until we screwed
00:37:05.960 it all up. Okay. Okay. Beyond that scandal, I want to get to other perverse behaviors on campus,
00:37:13.060 speaking of children, because liberal college students across the country now have a more 0.58
00:37:18.320 favorable view of Palestine than they do of the United States. Before we get to that, I want to
00:37:23.540 tell you about trust and will. There's a lot more to say first to go to trustandwill.com

00:38:38.540 My favorite comment yesterday is from Daniel Wiest8, who says,
00:38:42.880 Tallarico spent 10 days talking to his constituents. Very well-written comment.
00:38:49.980 It's got a little subtlety to it.
00:38:51.440 It's a little dryness.
00:38:53.020 Tallarico just spent 10 days talking to his constituents.
00:38:55.520 Yes, make of that what you will.
00:38:58.340 According to a new survey released by the Buckley Institute,
00:39:02.540 my old stomping grounds,
00:39:04.540 this is the 2026 National Undergraduate Student Survey.
00:39:09.440 Liberal students now have a higher favorable opinion of Palestine
00:39:12.700 than they do of the United States.
00:39:16.280 59% of undergraduates.
00:39:17.880 And the good news is 59% of liberal undergraduates
00:39:20.600 have a favorable view of the United States.
00:39:22.380 I actually thought it would be lower.
00:39:24.060 I actually thought it would be lower.
00:39:25.440 Isn't that crazy?
00:39:26.340 The vast majority of undergraduate students are liberal.
00:39:29.680 And I thought most of them would hate the United States.
00:39:32.420 But no, it's only almost half of them.
00:39:36.160 59% say that they basically like the United States.
00:39:40.380 64% have a favorable view of Palestine.
00:39:44.080 Palestine, which is not a state, which is not a nation.
00:39:47.880 It's a territory, it's a geographical area, a disputed area, but that's considered more
00:39:56.360 favorable than the U.S. by American students. Okay. Conservatives, no surprise, have the highest
00:40:01.620 favorable opinion of the U.S. 22% of undergrads say that America deserved 9-11. More than one in
00:40:09.220 five say America deserved 9-11. A lot of them, 40%, say that offensive speech should be subject
00:40:15.620 to criminal prosecution, you know, on and on and on. Okay. I want to focus though on those two
00:40:21.120 numbers, the Palestine favorability and the 22% who say America deserve 9-11. There are lots of 0.96
00:40:28.340 different purposes to education. The chief purpose of liberal education is to help us make sense of
00:40:33.540 our freedom. As I've said many times, and I'm in the minority of conservatives who say this,
00:40:38.960 because most conservatives say either don't go to college, or if you do go to college,
00:40:41.960 study something practical like business or become an electrician or something. And I don't think
00:40:46.460 that's true. I think if you go to college, you should study something that is not all that
00:40:52.660 practical. I think you should get a liberal education. In other words, you should be able
00:40:56.880 to read dusty old books written by long dead authors and help make sense of your own freedom
00:41:03.440 because that's the purpose. Liberal education is the freedom befitting a free man and benefiting
00:41:09.060 a free man for that matter, okay? And you can go to trade school afterward. If you want to become
00:41:12.520 a doctor or a lawyer or an electrician or anything, you can go do that afterward, but that's not the
00:41:16.880 purpose of liberal education. That is basically impossible in the U.S. today. At most schools,
00:41:23.580 that is almost impossible. Most schools don't even pretend to offer that anymore. There are
00:41:29.960 a handful of great institutions, places like Hillsdale, Ave Maria, a handful of others. I
00:41:35.240 don't want to just pick favorites, but those are the two that have offered me honorary degrees,
00:41:38.300 So I'll give them a little shout out.
00:41:41.340 And they do a very good job.
00:41:42.700 But a few others do.
00:41:43.440 You know, Franciscan, Thomas Aquinas College.
00:41:47.500 At some of the older, you know, kind of more liberal schools, it's still possible.
00:41:53.660 I think it's still possible to get that at Yale, maybe.
00:41:56.060 But like five students a year get that.
00:41:58.040 The vast majority do not.
00:41:59.120 Okay.
00:41:59.440 So if you're not going to get that, the second purpose of education is to form good citizens.
00:42:04.280 it's at least to inculcate a sense of civic responsibility and pride such that you were we
00:42:13.520 are investing public resources in you and you are going to become a good citizen of the united
00:42:17.200 states it's obviously not doing that 22 say that america deserved 9-11 so if it's if we're not
00:42:22.480 getting the liberal education we're not getting the civic education okay the very least are we
00:42:26.640 getting a practical education or are we at least learning some useful skills so people can go out
00:42:30.700 make money. No, we're not getting that either. You're not getting anything out of it. So at this
00:42:35.940 point, it becomes a political priority. We have to defund these schools. We need to bring the
00:42:45.160 weight of the state and the alumni and the trustees and whatever institutions we can
00:42:51.480 to reform these schools. They're very, very perverse. They're doing the opposite of what
00:42:57.300 they're supposed to do. Now, the Palestine number. Palestine is Wakanda. If you didn't 1.00
00:43:04.000 know that before, you should know that now. Palestine is not a real place. I mean, it's 1.00
00:43:09.160 not a real state, like it's literally not a state. But I mean, the Palestine that the
00:43:14.320 liberal activists talk about is not a real place. I am concerned about the legitimate 0.97
00:43:21.220 rights of Palestinian Arabs. That's another kind of unpopular view. On the American right,
00:43:28.000 you either have to essentially cheer on the indiscriminate destruction of the Palestinian 0.88
00:43:34.420 people, or you have to put on the keffiyeh and detest the state of Israel and start marching
00:43:42.380 for free Palestine. And I don't agree with either of those. I am concerned about the legitimate
00:43:49.820 rights of the Palestinian people, but I recognize that the Palestinian people have not demonstrated
00:43:55.080 any capacity for self-government, that it would probably not serve the interests of the United
00:43:59.920 States or the interests of the Palestinian people, certainly not the interests of the
00:44:02.520 state of Israel, if the Palestinians got more political autonomy. And that this is a problem
00:44:08.180 that goes back a long time, not just 1,400 years since the beginning of Islam, but the problem of
00:44:14.400 this troublesome province has gone back many millennia at this point. So I take that issue
00:44:20.660 seriously. I'm not just dismissing the issue of Palestine. The students marching for free
00:44:26.320 Palestine, they do not take that issue seriously. They don't know anything about Palestine. They
00:44:31.100 don't care to know anything about Palestine. Palestine is Wakanda for them. Palestine is 0.99
00:44:36.380 utopia for them. Palestine is just a symbol. It's a symbol of not America. It's the symbol of not 1.00
00:44:44.300 colonialism. It's a symbol of not white. It's a symbol of not Christian. Even though Palestine, 0.98
00:44:48.700 one of the earliest Christian communities, though the Christians have largely been run out of there,
00:44:54.160 nevertheless, we have in the Holy Land, the Holy Sepulchre, so many of the
00:44:58.240 important holy sites. There are still some Christian communities within the Palestinian
00:45:04.280 territories, obviously a bunch within the state of Israel. It doesn't matter. It's kind of like 0.97
00:45:09.320 the point we were talking about with Trump, that Trump is polarizing. So it's just everything
00:45:15.320 becomes about Trump. The Republican Party is all about Trump, but the Democrat Party is all about
00:45:18.900 Trump too. It's the same thing here. If these kids been around in the 80s, they would be marching
00:45:25.000 for South Africa. South Africa, which is worse off today than it was in the 1980s. South Africa,
00:45:31.240 which now has open calls for genocide of the white people there. South Africa, whose political and
00:45:35.880 economic situation has really plummeted over the last decade, two decades. South Africa was never
00:45:41.200 about South Africa when you had the anti-apartheid protests. All the anti-apartheid protests were
00:45:46.720 about was not America, not colonialism, not imperialism, not white people, not this, not that.
00:45:54.140 So that's really what they're talking about here. It's concerning, but the 22% say America
00:46:00.480 deserve 9-11, and 64% have a more favorable view of Palestine. Those are basically the same numbers. 0.72
00:46:08.420 It's reflecting the same underlying fact, which is not about any particular place or other. It's about
00:46:14.060 liberal students hating that which is their own, and it is because they hate themselves. And who
00:46:20.540 knows? Maybe some of them were scandalized by the improper ways that they were raised.
00:46:25.840 Another story I really, really want to get to, I know I'm running late.
00:46:29.260 The DOJ is going after, not just Ilhan Omar, but DOJ is going after the major news networks
00:46:34.420 over antitrust violations because they cut coverage of the White House because President
00:46:41.480 Trump kicked CNN out. It's a little bit of a convoluted story, but what it comes down to is
00:46:45.240 a lot of conservatives who talk a big game, they talk a big, big game. They're the second coming
00:46:50.520 of Charlemagne. A lot of those conservatives will clutch their pearls, they will flinch,
00:46:55.040 they will blink at the slightest sign
00:46:57.000 of pushback. So we'll get
00:46:59.000 into that. I don't have time right now. We'll get to see
00:47:00.640 Tuesday. We have to get to that. If you're not a member, you have to become a
