00:00:58.140 Good Rancher's American Meat delivered. In response to the, by all accounts,
00:01:03.500 false accusation of rape by a sophomore girl who had a ketamine-fueled menage a wheat
00:01:09.380 with a bunch of at least slightly homosexual frat bros, Cornell is officially banning
00:01:16.280 frat parties. Probably the least effective thing the school could possibly do, but also the only 0.58
00:01:23.480 thing that the administration's liberalism will allow them to do in the face of this scandal.
00:01:27.900 We'll get into it. Then more evidence emerges that Ilhan Omar defrauded immigration authorities
00:01:33.740 enough to get herself deported. And Vice President J.D. Vance insinuates that Texas
00:01:40.100 Democrat Senate nominee James Tallarico is gay, even though Tallarico says he has a girlfriend
00:01:47.080 in a different town. She goes to a different school. I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael 0.87
00:01:51.680 show. Welcome back to the show. The Daily Wire has a new movie coming out and everybody is
00:02:16.960 talking about it. Legitimately, not just conservatives on Twitter, like everybody.
00:02:22.320 It's on all these big news aggregators and channels because the movie is starring James
00:02:29.980 Franco and Rob Lowe. It's got Brad Dourif, a terrific actor, Nick Nolte. The list goes
00:02:36.400 on and on and on. And it was written by Ben Shapiro. And it looks phenomenal. I actually
00:02:41.360 have not seen the movie yet. I got Ben. I twisted his arm to send me the screener last night.
00:02:46.480 So I'm very much looking forward to seeing it.
00:02:48.760 The trailer looks killer, though,
00:02:50.260 and you have to be a Daily Wire subscriber to watch it.
00:02:53.160 So check this out.
00:02:53.760 This is crazy.
00:02:54.760 This is a big star-studded cast.
00:02:57.160 It's a movie about the Soviets and Christians.
00:03:01.680 It's called Confession,
00:03:02.960 and you need to go to dailywire.com slash subscribe
00:03:05.500 if you want to see it when it comes out soon.
00:03:07.940 But I'm going to see it before you do.
00:03:08.940 Okay, speaking of things to do in your free time,
00:03:13.060 speaking of recreational activities,
00:03:14.600 Cornell is banning frat parties in response to the Cornell 7 allegations. We've gone through
00:03:21.440 the litany of allegations and counter-allegations a number of times. I won't rehash them.
00:03:27.400 But the long and short of it is this gal goes to a frat party, has a menage a wheat with a bunch
00:03:33.780 of ketamine. Afterwards, she says it was all consensual. It was fine. She said she wanted
00:03:38.220 to do it again. She wanted to come back, albeit with a slightly different arrangement of men.
00:03:42.860 Then she was upset that she wasn't invited to a Halloween party the following week. 1.00
00:03:46.740 Then her reputation was toast, and everyone was calling her a whore. 0.99
00:03:51.340 And then she decided to call it rape. 0.99
00:03:55.040 This was investigated.
00:03:56.880 It wasn't rape, according to the Cornell authorities.
00:04:00.240 Two years later, she files a civil suit.
00:04:01.860 All of a sudden, they're reopening the criminal investigation, and everybody looks terrible in this whole thing.
00:04:06.780 So the institution that looks the most terrible is Cornell.
00:04:11.040 Cornell, which is now totally associated with this depraved, debaucherous, disgusting activity.
00:04:20.460 Cornell, which has not really made a lot of statements on it until now.
00:04:24.580 The president of Cornell decides what they are going to do in response to this allegation of rape that almost certainly is false,
00:04:32.840 according to the evidence that we've seen over the last, well, not just two months, over the last two years. 1.00
00:04:37.780 and in response to the drugs and the hookups and the creepiness and the kind of gay stuff 0.64
00:04:43.840 and in response to all of it, Cornell is going to ban frat parties. 1.00
00:04:50.040 That's their response.
00:04:51.260 Before I get to why that's, of course, that's their response.
00:04:54.720 Before I get to why, here's what the president of Cornell, Michael Kotlikoff, says in a letter.
00:05:00.380 Very lengthy letter.
00:05:01.260 I won't read the whole thing, but he says they're looking at three measures to remedy what happened.
00:05:05.820 One, strengthen campus safety. All parties and social events in fraternity council houses at Cornell will be suspended for the remainder of this year. So no more frat parties.
00:05:16.580 Two, better support for survivors. Cornell will also add staff to the Cornell Office of Civil
00:05:25.040 Rights, including the appointment of a dedicated case manager who will help individuals who report
00:05:29.220 sexual misconduct navigate other university processes, such as financial aid, academic
00:05:33.960 accommodations, da-da-da-da-da, as needed. Student support staff will be added beyond the
00:05:38.320 presidential tax force recommendations to provide additional victim advocate support in the sexual
00:05:42.580 harassment and assault, response in education, office, blah, blah, blah. So they're going to
00:05:46.280 add more administrators. They think that the problem at universities, where the sexual culture 0.83
00:05:51.860 has gotten worse and worse and worse over recent decades, is that they don't have enough
00:05:55.020 administrators. The chief area of growth in the universities for the past several decades
00:06:01.920 is administrators. It's not that they're hiring more teachers or better teachers. It's not that
00:06:06.100 they're bringing in better or more accomplished students. It's just the admin. Why has the
00:06:10.840 tuition gone up? The tuition has gone up because the federal government has guaranteed the loans.
00:06:14.900 Where have the universities spent the money? They've spent it on administrators,
00:06:18.300 deans, and deputy deans, and deputy assistant deputy deputy deans of nonsense.
00:06:23.660 And so now they're saying, you know what? Our admin has grown by 7,000% in recent years. Well,
00:06:28.440 it's going to be 7,001% now. Totally ridiculous. And so they're going to add HR managers, 0.90
00:06:34.060 basically. For what? To deal with claims of sexual assault for the victim's support?
00:06:40.720 Let's not forget, the girl wasn't raped. According to her, now she's saying she was raped,
00:06:48.260 but according to her, in many, many text messages that have come out during the event,
00:06:55.040 after the event, a week after the event, she said verbatim, explicitly, all the sexual stuff
00:07:01.540 was consensual. Our body, our choice. I loved being with you guys. I want to do it again.
00:07:10.820 The whole reason she accused them of rape is because she wanted to go back 1.00
00:07:14.420 to the site of her alleged rape with her alleged rapists. Totally ridiculous. So to say, well, 0.99
00:07:19.840 you know, in response to this, it's a completely objectionable, disgusting thing that happened
00:07:23.960 between all of these people. The university should do something to remedy it, but whatever
00:07:27.360 happened, it wasn't rape. So the university says, well, you know what we need to do? We need to add
00:07:32.480 more administrators to deal with rape. A rape didn't happen. And furthermore, if a rape did 1.00
00:07:38.980 happen, why would you hire new deputy assistant deputy deans to deal with rape? If the whole
00:07:46.220 argument coming from these liberal academic administrators now is that we don't take rape
00:07:51.500 seriously enough, why would you deal with cases of rape through non-legal, non-justice system
00:07:59.960 means? If the whole argument from the left is you conservatives, it's us, it's the conservatives
00:08:06.840 throwing the ketamine-fueled orgies, regardless. This is an intra-liberal issue. But they say,
00:08:13.240 hey, you people, you non-woke leftists, you don't take rape seriously enough.
00:08:17.940 As a conservative, I would say, I think we're the only people taking rape seriously.
00:08:22.920 Because rape is a very serious crime that should be handled by the criminal justice system.
00:08:28.140 And if people commit it, they should go to prison for a long time.
00:08:32.820 What these liberal administrators are saying is, no, no, no, rape isn't a big deal.
00:08:37.220 We shouldn't deal with it through the justice system. 0.99
00:08:39.440 We should just get a bunch of random professors and ex-professors to sit on a tribunal to trounce the rights of the accused.
00:08:46.460 and not to bring any real sort of justice at all.
00:08:50.760 Totally wrong. 0.99
00:08:51.480 I mean, this is pathetic. 1.00
00:08:52.480 This is ridiculous. 1.00
00:08:53.580 And then the third thing, 0.93
00:08:54.900 changing the social culture at Cornell.
00:08:57.160 Research has shown that campus sexual assault
00:08:59.460 is not limited to the fraternity system.
00:09:01.100 At its core is the specific context of social behavior
00:09:03.920 and a deeply disturbing prevalence
00:09:05.580 of alcohol and drug abuse.
00:09:06.880 While this is not a problem unique to Cornell,
00:09:08.300 we are committed to setting a higher standard
00:09:09.580 for education, oversight, and enforcement
00:09:10.980 of safe social behavior and citizenship.
00:09:12.840 Okay, that's the nearest thing
00:09:14.120 to a good point the president's making.
00:09:15.480 because at these schools, and especially at the Ivy League schools, actually,
00:09:18.900 booze and drugs are all over the place, and no students are ever punished for that stuff.
00:09:23.380 The hookup culture is actively encouraged, and that's way beyond the frat system. Totally right
00:09:30.600 about that. But what are you going to do to change that? Are you going to say that women need to be
00:09:35.020 more modest? Are you going to say that men need to be more chivalrous and treat women differently
00:09:39.340 than they would treat men? No. Are you going to say that men and women should live in different
00:09:44.420 dorms at least, if not go to different schools? No, you're not going to do that. Are you going
00:09:49.440 to say that men and women relate to sex differently and therefore there should be
00:09:53.260 different standards in how they behave regarding sex? No. All of that would contradict feminism
00:10:00.880 and liberalism. So Cornell recognizes there's a problem with the sexual culture on campus, 0.95
00:10:05.500 but they're not going to do a damn thing to change it because they can't. Because liberalism
00:10:10.140 and feminism will not allow them to. And so part of me says, you're going to ban frat parties for 0.62
00:10:14.300 the rest of the year. That's kind of based. If the frat parties are just involved,
00:10:18.280 if they just entail a bunch of drugs and weird, mostly gay orgies, then yeah, we should probably 1.00
00:10:26.820 shut down the frat parties for a little bit. But ultimately, this is bad. The reason that they're 1.00
00:10:33.860 going to try to deal with this issue by shutting down the frat parties is because the universities
00:10:37.720 already hate the frat parties, because they already hate fraternities, because they hate
00:10:41.400 single-sex institutions because that contradicts feminism, that contradicts liberalism, and even
00:10:46.180 if women are occasionally allowed to have their own spaces, men certainly are not. That's why the
00:10:50.860 universities go in and they open up all the male secret societies, all the male private membership
00:10:55.820 clubs, even beyond the university, just throughout society. They say you have to open them up to
00:10:59.620 women, and so men are not allowed to have spaces for themselves, but it's important. Fraternities
00:11:03.100 are a good thing. Fraternities are a good thing. They're actually an essential social institution 0.94
00:11:08.380 because men need to have places to hang out with just men. 1.00
00:11:11.360 No knock on women. 1.00
00:11:12.400 I love women. 1.00
00:11:13.100 I love spending time with women and talking to women. 1.00
00:11:15.040 But sometimes I want to hang out with the fellas.
00:11:17.260 Now, if the all-male institutions are so decayed 0.99
00:11:22.680 that what the men do there is a bunch of weird ketamine orgy gay stuff, 0.99
00:11:27.020 then you know what? 0.99
00:11:28.040 Whatever.
00:11:28.360 I guess the institution's lost and nothing's really surrendered
00:11:32.500 by giving up the frat parties.
00:11:33.940 But we as a society need fraternities. 0.93
00:11:36.900 We need male-only spaces. 0.90
00:11:37.860 You want to know why cigar lounges have spiked in popularity in recent years, beginning in the
00:11:43.420 1990s? Part of it is because cigars are delicious. Mayflower cigars are especially delicious. You
00:11:48.540 can get them at mayflowercigars.com. You have to be 21 years old or older to order some exclusion
00:11:51.880 supply. Part of it is because it's a wonderful hobby. But I think an even bigger driver than
00:11:58.180 that is because cigar lounges are one of the last basically mail-only spaces. Legally,
00:12:05.340 you're not allowed to have them. The private membership clubs, country clubs, they have to
00:12:08.740 be open to everybody now. But cigar, smoke is kind of a woman repellent. And some women love 1.00
00:12:14.060 to smoke cigars, but they often don't go to the lounges. And so that is why. Because men want 1.00
00:12:19.060 some spaces to go hang out and just talk to men and talk about man stuff and do the things that 0.89
00:12:23.980 they do when women aren't around. And women have their own spaces too. Women used to have the hair 1.00
00:12:29.520 salon and they'd have those big, stupid things over their head and they'd sit there for three 1.00
00:12:33.140 hours. And they don't really do that anymore either because we live in this androgynous, 1.00
00:12:36.620 weird trans society. But guess what happens when you start jumbling up all the sex stuff? 0.99
00:12:43.880 The Cornell seven party happens. Things get really weird, really quick. And if you want
00:12:47.680 to try to fix that without dealing with the underlying problem that men and women are
00:12:51.180 different, it's not a, it shouldn't be a problem. It doesn't have to be a problem, but you just have
00:12:55.340 to treat men and women a little bit differently in order to acknowledge that. If you're not going
00:12:59.820 to deal with that underlying issue, you're not going to do anything. So, okay, we're going to
00:13:03.640 ban the frat parties because the left has already hated frats for a very, very long time because the
00:13:09.500 left hates it when men just hang out with other men and exclude women. And so, okay, that's the
00:13:14.560 one thing they can do to try to fix the sexual culture on campus, and it will not help. It won't
00:13:21.260 help. They'll just have parties somewhere else. They'll just have their ketamine-fueled orgies
00:13:24.580 somewhere else. And all you'll have done is lost one of the last even semi-conservative
00:13:29.860 institutions on campus. Okay, speaking of weird sex stuff, the vice president is implying that
00:13:33.920 Democrat Senate candidate James Tallarico is a little light in the loafers. We'll get to that 0.56
00:13:37.700 in a second. First, I want to tell you about Good Ranchers. Go to goodranchers.com slash
00:13:42.220 Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S. I have a new rule for buying American. Don't tell me, show me. A company can
00:13:48.600 print American beef in letters the size of a billboard, then the fine print gets considerably
00:13:52.060 more complicated. I should not need a law degree to buy a pot roast. And apparently product of USA
00:13:58.460 just means someone in America once looked at the cow. Good Ranchers takes a refreshingly simple
00:14:02.860 approach. Look at the label. Every single cut says born, raised, and harvested in the USA. It's
00:14:06.620 the best, man. It's so great. I am now, what, six, seven days since we had our little daughter,
00:14:12.200 our fourth kid. And so we had to pre-make some food. We, I mean my wife. And I took in this
00:14:18.580 shipment of Good Ranchers. I got my meat good to go for the entirety of postpartum. It's so
00:14:24.220 freaking good. The chicken is magnificent, which I'm more of a red meat guy. The filet mignon,
00:14:30.460 the wagyu burgers, they now have beef sticks, which are the best beef stick you're ever going
00:14:34.740 to have. It's the best. The company is the best meat you're going to get at the best prices run
00:14:40.000 by the best people. By the way, it happens to support American farms and ranches. October is
00:14:45.260 a great month to start. Go to GoodRanchers.com slash Knowles. Get 50 bucks off plus free meat
00:14:49.500 with every order when you start a plan. Get the Michael Knowles box, by the way. That's the one
00:14:53.820 that I get. You can build your own box. Starts as low as $129, but get my box because it's the
00:14:58.000 best one. GoodRanchers.com slash Knowles. 50 bucks off plus free meat with every order.
00:15:01.880 GoodRanchers.com American meat delivered. Vice President J.D. Vance, he's in big, big trouble.
00:15:08.340 He was on a campaign stop yesterday. He's hammering the trail for the midterms,
00:15:12.480 and where he's focused on that big Senate race, Ken Paxton versus James Tallarico.
00:15:17.340 And he made, can you believe he would do this? He made a joke insinuating that James Tallarico
00:15:24.680 is a homosexual. Now, before we get started, I love you too, sir. In a totally platonic way,
00:15:33.000 to be clear, I'm the vice president, not James Tallarico, but I gotta
00:15:42.480 Oh, can you believe how could he say that? Oh my goodness. In the year 2026. So there was
00:15:50.180 all sorts of feigned and sincere outrage from effeminate leftists. One of whom is this guy,
00:15:58.100 Adam Cochran, who I guess is some left-wing pundit of some sort or other. And he tweets out,
00:16:04.760 dot, dot, dot, the vice president of the United States, dot, dot, dot, in 2026, 0.97
00:16:11.060 trying to insult a Senate candidate by implying he is gay. How terribly far we've fallen as a 0.66
00:16:21.800 nation. I couldn't tell. I thought he was joking at first. He wasn't joking. He was sincerely
00:16:28.040 outraged, shocked that J.D. Vance would make this joke. Can you believe how far we've fallen?
00:16:34.200 We used to be a proper country, a civilized country, and now we have statesmen insinuating 0.99
00:16:40.880 that their rivals are gay? Just a little history lesson. Can I get, can we, I don't need to give 0.97
00:16:45.760 you a history lesson, but I got to give Adam Cochran one. James Thomas Callender, who was
00:16:52.000 one of Thomas Jefferson's hatchet men during the 1800 presidential election. He was a journalist
00:16:56.900 in a time of hyper-partisan journalism. I guess we're in that time again. I guess we've probably
00:17:01.480 always been in that time. In any case, one of Jefferson's hatchet men described President John
00:17:06.500 Adams as, quote, that hideous hermaphroditical character, which has neither the force and
00:17:11.120 firmness of a man nor the gentleness and sensibility of a woman. Let's fast forward a 0.93
00:17:15.760 little bit into the 19th century. President James Buchanan and his buddy, the one-time
00:17:22.360 Vice President William Rufus King, they were referred to as Miss Nancy and Aunt Fancy because
00:17:28.620 people kept insinuating that they were, you know, friends of Dorothy. Davy Crockett, when he was
00:17:34.580 contemplating running for the presidency. He referred to President Martin Van Buren as a dandy
00:17:39.200 who, quote, struts and swaggers like a crow in the gutter, quote, laced up in corsets such as
00:17:46.460 women in a town wear and, if possible, tighter than the best of them. Calling your opponent a 1.00
00:17:52.040 fanuk is one of the oldest traditions in American history, and it has been practiced by some of the
00:17:57.620 very finest statesmen we've ever had, some of the most civilized men and their associates.
00:18:01.800 Vice President Vance, for his part, doubled down.
00:18:31.800 unusual search histories. Maybe he doesn't, just guessing, but I wouldn't want to see it.
00:18:38.460 I love he's getting a little spark there at the end. Yeah, but anyway, I'm just,
00:18:42.020 no, here, let me explain to you my joke. You want me to explain my joke to you because you
00:18:47.120 have such a problem with it? Okay. He says that the thing he most loves, James Tallarico,
00:18:52.440 is trans kids. Remember that one? He was asked in an interview, what do you most love?
00:18:57.940 and he said trans kids. That's weird. I would say, beyond my family, God, I would say I love
00:19:06.420 ukuleles. I love sitting on the beach with a cocktail. I love cigars. I love, I don't know,
00:19:14.020 I like wristwatches. They're kind of nice. I don't know. A real comfy pair of pajamas.
00:19:22.600 What does James Tallarico say? Oh, the thing I most love is trans kids. I just love them.
00:19:28.560 Remember, James Tallarico was asked on the trail,
00:19:30.460 hey, who's your favorite drag queen? 0.98
00:19:31.920 Doesn't miss a beat. 1.00
00:19:32.680 He's like, Sheila Jones.
00:19:34.280 I don't know, whatever the name.
00:19:35.120 I don't remember the name he said.
00:19:36.040 But he knew. 1.00
00:19:36.920 He had a favorite drag queen.
00:19:39.940 And so, and so, Mr. Journalist,
00:19:42.880 you're asking me what I meant by my comment.
00:19:45.280 I mean, he probably has a weird search history
00:19:48.320 because he's a freak. 1.00
00:19:50.120 He's clearly a sexual deviant. 1.00
00:19:52.420 Any other questions? 0.99
00:19:53.680 Okay, that wraps it up.
00:19:55.280 I'm going to go get back on Air Force Two.
00:19:56.740 Great answer from Vance.
00:19:57.940 great answer. And it's just totally absurd to suggest that what he is doing is somehow
00:20:03.120 degrading American political rhetoric. The very finest statesmen we have ever had,
00:20:08.460 going all the way back to the earliest elections we've ever had with statesmen who were far 0.64
00:20:13.100 better than most of what we deal with today, were calling each other homosexuals. That's
00:20:19.620 totally. And in this case, Vance makes a good point in his explanation. He actually has a reason
00:20:25.700 to. There's no reason to call John Adams, you know, a eunuch. It's because he was kind of short
00:20:30.860 and kind of weird looking. But he wasn't, you know, he wasn't talking about how much he loves
00:20:34.720 trans kids. With Tallarico, there's a lot of smoke there. And I know Tallarico says he has
00:20:39.020 a girlfriend. She just, you know, she lives in Canada. She goes to a different school. She lives
00:20:42.860 in a different town. Okay. Speaking of sexual liberation, viral post on social media driving 0.77
00:20:48.220 me crazy. It's another one of these let's celebrate divorce posts. And it has rightly
00:20:56.660 gone viral. People are furious over this. The guy who posted it is some account, Dom Loves
00:21:02.980 Investing. I don't really follow him, but I don't know. He's some finance account. He says,
00:21:08.720 my wife and I decided to get a divorce. There were no fights, just two adults who realized
00:21:11.820 they drifted apart from each other. This is probably the hardest thing that I had to go
00:21:15.260 through. First of all, telling our girls, seeing them so sad was heartbreaking. But we're still a
00:21:19.460 team as parents, and we'll do everything for them. We're still a team. No, you're not.
00:21:27.160 The thing you are doing, at its most basic level, the thing you are doing is ceasing to be a team.
00:21:35.240 And you say, we'll do everything for our girls, except the thing they most want and need.
00:21:40.120 No, we'll do everything for our girls.
00:21:43.140 We'll, I don't know, we'll take them out for ice cream sometimes. 0.99
00:21:47.160 We'll compete for their affection.
00:21:49.160 We'll, I don't, we'll, but we won't do the one thing they most want and need.
00:21:54.340 That we won't do.
00:21:55.400 But we'll do everything else.
00:21:56.780 Also, we have to sell our house, the house I wanted to live in forever and raise my kids in.
00:22:00.520 Going back to a smaller apartment will be rough.
00:22:02.500 Okay, so you'll do everything for your kids other than the thing they most want and need.
00:22:06.920 Also, you're going to take their home away from them.
00:22:09.400 But you'll do it, because you guys are a team,
00:22:11.120 so you'll do everything for them.
00:22:12.640 I still have a lot to handle.
00:22:15.040 I'm really concerned about you.
00:22:17.100 You haven't thought enough about yourself.
00:22:19.140 I still have a lot to handle.
00:22:20.420 That's why I wasn't active here on X.
00:22:22.040 I'm really grateful for all the people who reached out
00:22:23.760 and asked where I was.
00:22:25.320 This woman, I think it means woman,
00:22:27.780 will always be part of my life.
00:22:29.120 She gifted me with two perfect daughters.
00:22:31.300 I wish her all the best.
00:22:32.040 Great memories were made in those years.
00:22:33.220 I'll be back soon.
00:22:33.760 Thank you, everyone.
00:22:34.280 Okay, I actually don't mean to be too hard on this guy.
00:22:36.700 I don't know anything about this guy.
00:22:38.420 I don't really care that much to know anything about this guy.
00:22:40.800 It's not totally my business.
00:22:42.180 It's a little bit my business because marriage is a public institution
00:22:45.380 and wedding vows are a public act.
00:22:48.240 So it actually is my business.
00:22:49.840 Society is my business.
00:22:51.660 But the particulars, I don't know, maybe this guy's wife left him.
00:22:55.720 Maybe she left him for another man. 0.99
00:22:57.360 Maybe she is a psycho. 1.00
00:22:59.060 Maybe she's Lindsay Clancy. 0.99
00:23:00.060 I don't know.
00:23:00.560 I don't know what the issue is.
00:23:03.280 The problem that people have chiefly with these kinds of posts,
00:23:06.580 the reason they go viral, is not that people get divorced. That's a problem. People have a problem
00:23:14.360 with that. I certainly have a problem with that. But that's actually not chiefly the problem.
00:23:20.260 The problem is putting on a happy face. The problem is celebrating it. The problem is
00:23:25.160 justifying it. You want to get divorced? Okay. In a civil society, we can't really stop you.
00:23:31.960 You can ban divorce. You can make it more difficult. We probably should make it much 0.52
00:23:35.720 more difficult. But people have been getting divorced since man walked out of the cave. 0.99
00:23:39.940 That is going to happen. It's a fallen world. It happens sometimes.
00:23:44.520 But it is entirely evil. It is a bad thing. It happens. Sometimes it happens. We should have
00:23:53.000 pity for the people to whom it happens. We should encourage them to try to make it not happen.
00:23:58.220 And when it does happen, you should say, it's a bad thing. What people are reacting against
00:24:03.580 is the liberal mindset that tells you that you have to celebrate this kind of thing.
00:24:10.900 One, because it's an exercise of individual autonomy, and that's all that matters.
00:24:15.260 But two, because we recognize that our society has made us kind of miserable,
00:24:23.220 and people are getting less happy over time.
00:24:25.580 And in as much as you can measure happiness, people are getting much less happy.
00:24:28.920 But we can't acknowledge that because we're becoming more liberated.
00:24:31.740 We're exercising our individual autonomy more.
00:24:34.940 We're told that that is the most important thing in life.
00:24:36.900 So we have to believe that we can change the world
00:24:39.380 through the power of positive thinking.
00:24:40.860 That's the dominant ethos,
00:24:45.260 quasi-religious ethos in the world.
00:24:47.060 What do they call it?
00:24:48.960 Moral therapeutic deism, that kind of thing.
00:24:53.000 So that's what people find offensive because it's a lie.
00:24:56.940 Just tell me your wife left you.
00:24:58.540 My wife left me. 0.98
00:24:59.660 She's awful.
00:25:00.240 I'm really upset about it. 1.00
00:25:01.740 it's really messing up my girl's life, and it totally sucks. Okay, I can have a lot of sympathy
00:25:08.320 for that guy. Or, you know what? I screwed up. I cheated on my wife, and she can't forgive me,
00:25:13.720 and it's totally my fault, and it sucks, and I feel horrible, and I ruined everything.
00:25:20.780 I can feel pity for that guy, too. I can talk to that guy. But this guy? I'm not talking to this
00:25:27.300 guy. Yeah, we decided to get no, no, no fights, nothing wrong. There's no fault. There was no
00:25:32.040 fault in this divorce. By definition, if there is a divorce, there is fault. Someone is at fault
00:25:36.320 because you made a vow to stay together forever. And now you're breaking that vow.
00:25:39.840 Somebody is at fault. No, nothing happened. It's just like, you know, I used to like chocolate.
00:25:45.820 Now I like vanilla, you know? So anyway, we're going to destroy our children's lives and,
00:25:50.580 and actually really immiserate our own lives. And it's going to totally suck. But you know, 0.96
00:25:55.840 isn't that just life? Love wins. It reminds me of this line from Alan Bloom in The Closing
00:26:04.100 of the American Mind. Great book. He's writing about students. He's writing about the university.
00:26:07.440 He says, students these days are in general nice. I choose the word carefully. They're not
00:26:10.960 particularly moral or noble. Such niceness is a facet of democratic character when times are good.
00:26:16.160 Neither war nor tyranny nor want has hardened them or made demands on them. The wounds and
00:26:20.980 rivalries caused by class distinctions have disappeared along with any strong sense of
00:26:24.920 class, as it once existed in America and still does poisonously in England. Students are free
00:26:30.360 of most constraints, and their families make sacrifices for them without asking for much in
00:26:34.100 the way of obedience or respect. Religion and national origin have almost no noticeable effect
00:26:37.980 on their social life or their career prospects. Although few really believe in the system,
00:26:42.320 they do not have any burning sentiment that injustice is being done to them. The drugs and
00:26:47.020 the sex once thought to be forbidden are available in quantities required for sensible use.
00:26:50.780 students these days are pleasant friendly and if not great sold at least not particularly
00:26:55.280 mean-spirited their primary preoccupation is themselves understood in the narrowest sense
00:27:01.360 that's it that's the whole story i bet this guy dom whatever all these people who they celebrate
00:27:06.760 divorce they try to be nice nice about i bet they're really nice guys but they're really nice
00:27:11.600 they're not particularly
00:27:14.260 moral
00:27:16.360 they're not particularly thoughtful
00:27:18.600 they're not great
00:27:20.360 sold
00:27:20.960 it's not totally their fault
00:27:23.800 this is a feature of democratic societies
00:27:26.320 especially when we are in times
00:27:28.400 of abundance
00:27:29.540 people are just kind of nice
00:27:32.420 and niceness 0.99
00:27:34.080 sucks 0.99
00:27:34.920 being polite, being kind, being civilized 0.99
00:27:37.680 that's all very good
00:27:38.360 being nice 0.96
00:27:39.300 that's that's the kind of society you get with niceness a society of a bunch of selfish 0.97
00:27:46.680 miserable people okay speaking of family ilhan omar might get deported we'll get to that in a
00:27:52.400 second first i want to tell you about hallow download hallow every october our culture turns
00:27:56.500 death into decoration skeletons go in the yard ghosts hang from the porch suddenly every store
00:28:01.780 is filled with images of the afterlife we rarely stop to consider what any of it actually means
00:28:06.320 this October, Hallow is inviting you to do exactly that with its first ever Memento Mori challenge.
00:28:12.120 Beginning October 26th, Memento Mori literally means remember that you will die. That may sound
00:28:17.200 dark, but the point is not to obsess over death. It's to ask a far more important question. If this
00:28:21.260 life is temporary, how should that change the way you live it? Throughout the challenge, Hallow will
00:28:26.140 guide you through C.S. Lewis's great divorce, his classic exploration of heaven and the choices we
00:28:30.620 make here on earth. Lewis takes enormous theological questions, makes them deeply personal, confronting
00:28:35.080 us with the habits, attachments, and excuses that can keep us from becoming the people God
00:28:39.360 created us to be. What are you holding on to? What actually matters? Are you living as though
00:28:43.820 eternity is real? Memento Mori is not really a challenge about dying. It's a challenge about
00:28:48.660 how you're going to live. Join HALO beginning October 26th for the Memento Mori Challenge.
00:28:53.600 Download HALO and start praying today.

00:29:27.320 Ilhan Omar.
00:29:28.420 Home rated before dawn, what was that, two, three nights ago?
00:29:32.300 Then we all think it's because of the fact that she married her brother,
00:29:36.960 so she helped him to commit immigration fraud.
00:29:39.020 Turns out it's probably not, according to the sources and a lot of widespread reporting.
00:29:42.460 It's because she herself may have lied to immigration authorities as a minor.
00:29:48.420 It was really her father who did this, that they changed her birth date.
00:29:53.260 So she got her citizenship when she was 17 through a program for the minor age children
00:29:58.520 of naturalized immigrants. And so when she was 17, she gets it. But if she was actually born a year
00:30:05.340 earlier, that means she was 18 at the time. She was ineligible for the program. Her naturalization
00:30:10.520 was fraudulent. Now there's a 10-year statute of limitations on that. So it wouldn't matter either
00:30:15.220 way, except if she has used the fake birth date on official documents since then, passports,
00:30:22.680 birth certificates, driver's licenses, then the statute of limitations resets. Ilhan could be
00:30:29.140 deported. The reporting that we're getting now out of the New York Post is pretty significant.
00:30:36.080 The latest update to it is that Representative Omar's staff got her birth date changed officially
00:30:42.280 after being elected to Congress. So here we have not just Ilhan Omar or her father changing a date
00:30:51.380 a while ago. No one really knew about it. Here, it seems like this was intentional. Ilhan Omar
00:30:56.240 knew about it. Her staff knew about it. They went in. They changed the birth date, used the fraudulent
00:31:02.620 birth date. That would reset the statute of limitations. Looks like there's a real case
00:31:06.960 here. I am beginning to get bullish that we could denaturalize Ilhan Omar. We'll see if it really
00:31:13.240 happens. It's a long road ahead. But don't forget, this is not just Trump settling scores with
00:31:17.820 enemies. The warrant for the raid was signed off on by a federal judge. This investigation has
00:31:22.300 been going on for a very, very long time. And there have already been other investigations
00:31:27.140 into Ilhan Omar's family's migration history. This is pretty good stuff. Keep it up. Keep up 0.99
00:31:33.560 the fire. There's a world, if we got rid of Ilhan Omar, that would be, she's kind of my favorite
00:31:39.380 person in the squad. There's AOC in the squad. She's kind of Paul McCartney. She's the most
00:31:45.520 mainstream one. Then you've got Ilhan Omar. She's kind of the John Lennon. You know, she's the edgy
00:31:49.940 one. She's, you know, she's like kind of a terrorist or kind of supports terrorists, but, you know, 0.86
00:31:54.440 she's a little edgy, a little cooler. Then you have Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley. Yeah,
00:32:02.040 one of them is George, one of them is Ringo. I don't know which. Anyway, though, if we got rid
00:32:05.300 of her, that would be a big, big win for the right. Now, speaking of federal officials and scandals,
00:32:11.660 Kimberly Guilfoyle, the Fox News star, the once fiance of Don Jr., very, very prominent
00:32:18.560 Trump surrogate, now ambassador to Greece.
00:32:21.600 She has officially resigned as ambassador to Greece amid a financial scandal.
00:32:25.720 Here is the president on what happened.
00:32:29.060 She wasn't a member of my family.
00:32:30.860 She, I guess, dated my son a long time ago, but she wasn't.
00:32:34.840 No, she went to Greece.
00:32:38.040 She was doing a good job, but we didn't like what we were reading.
00:32:41.480 So what did you think of the allegations?
00:32:43.800 Mr. President, excuse me, Mr. President.
00:32:46.620 Did you speak with Kimberly Guilfoyle personally?
00:32:49.020 And what did she say to you?
00:32:50.260 I didn't speak to her, no, but she will not be there.
00:32:55.280 I didn't like what I read.
00:32:57.520 OK, so Trump, very, very dismissive here.
00:33:01.560 He's saying Kimberly Guilfoyle was a big surrogate for MAGA and for Trump.
00:33:05.500 obviously you know she she dated and was engaged to don jr uh though that was a while ago and don
00:33:11.300 has since remarried but you know she was a big figure she was a star of the five on fox news
00:33:17.200 and what does trump say he says oh yeah yeah whatever she dated my son a while ago but i
00:33:20.860 didn't like what i was reading so she's out what did you say to her personally i didn't say anything
00:33:25.160 to her personally i just fired her she's out i've always gotten along very well with kimberly
00:33:30.440 Guilfoyle. I found her to be very nice, but it was a tough scandal. The reports that were coming
00:33:37.680 out were that she was requesting money from different donors to pay off debts and bills
00:33:44.400 and trying to hide it on financial disclosures. And it looked bad. We don't know all the details.
00:33:48.940 Maybe there will be an investigation. Maybe it's all a big misunderstanding, but
00:33:51.640 it looked pretty bad. And the left is going to point to this and say, well, this is evidence
00:33:58.520 that the Trump administration is thoroughly corrupt.
00:34:02.720 But wouldn't you have to look at it
00:34:04.480 and draw the exact opposite conclusion?
00:34:07.620 The fact that Guilfoyle was such a big figure,
00:34:10.700 she was very close to the Trump family,
00:34:12.440 nobody denies that.
00:34:13.860 She got this ambassadorship
00:34:16.800 because of her closeness to the Trump family.
00:34:19.900 She had a lot of fans on the right
00:34:22.560 because of her Fox News days. 0.95
00:34:24.020 And the fact that when this scandal came out, 1.00
00:34:26.780 Trump just immediately fired her from the job. To me, that says that actually the Trump
00:34:33.020 administration does take corruption seriously. And actually, they're not going to deal with that.
00:34:36.800 They don't want the appearance of impropriety. And so everyone says, okay, well, if you think
00:34:42.820 what Kimberly Guilfoyle did is bad, just wait until you see what the Trump family's been doing.
00:34:45.980 Well, what? What's the accusation? I hear all of these insinuations of corruption,
00:34:51.520 pay to play. But notice you don't hear many firm accusations. There is some firm accusation about
00:35:00.100 the ambassador to Greece. What happens? Trump fires her in two seconds. What's the accusation
00:35:04.200 about the Trump family? My takeaway from this is, look, the guns have been trained on Trump
00:35:08.540 figuratively and literally for over 10 years. They've been picking apart everything to try
00:35:13.240 to prove that he is corrupt in some way. And they've come up with nothing. Trump lost a ton
00:35:20.300 of money, certainly during the first administration. Then he had that little interregnum
00:35:24.240 when he could make some money again. But he lost a lot of money on the endeavor. He doesn't take
00:35:28.840 a salary as president. One of the reasons that historically in America, at least in the early
00:35:32.860 days, we had rich people as president, senator, and statesmen is because it's harder to corrupt
00:35:40.680 rich people. It is easier to corrupt poor people in politics because the poor people need the money.
00:35:46.020 The rich people, it's harder to buy them off.
00:35:49.620 Don't forget, Trump is our richest president.
00:35:51.180 You know who our second richest president was ever?
00:35:53.120 George Washington, the father of our country
00:35:55.200 and the universally admired man.
00:35:57.240 So anyway, I think, you know, in a way,
00:35:58.960 it's too bad what happened with Kim Guilfoyle.
00:36:00.820 I hope, you know, we'll see what happens
00:36:02.420 when the whole story comes to light.
00:36:03.720 But for the Trump administration,
00:36:05.380 I think this actually makes them look pretty good.
00:36:07.340 Okay, speaking of foreign affairs,
00:36:10.720 that war in Iran is becoming a little bit more global.
00:36:15.440 We're always worried about the outbreak of World War III.
00:36:18.620 Well, you see, the war in Ukraine is really a kind of a global war
00:36:23.940 because it's a proxy war between the United States and Russia.
00:36:27.220 The war in Iran increasingly is looking like a proxy war
00:36:30.520 between the United States and China
00:36:32.560 because China is arming some of the Iranian-backed militants, the Houthis.
00:36:36.140 We'll get to that in a second.
00:36:37.080 First, I want to tell you about GOP votes.
00:36:39.220 Go to gopvotes.org.
00:36:40.720 The Democratic Socialists of America won primaries across the country.
00:36:43.740 Next, they're coming for Congress, and they're coming for you. 0.80
00:36:47.680 If they win the midterms, they will defund the police, reopen our border, and force men into women's sports.
00:36:51.980 You are the last line of defense, and GOPvotes.org is your partner in the fight.
00:36:56.560 Go to GOPvotes.org right now.
00:36:58.500 Make a plan to vote early.
00:36:59.820 If you live in the critical Senate battleground states of Maine, Ohio, or Iowa, early voting is already underway this week.
00:37:06.360 Democrats are energized.
00:37:07.720 The stakes have never been higher.
00:37:09.100 We cannot afford to have people like AOC and her communist cronies running the show.
00:37:13.740 That is why I need you to make a plan to vote early right now.
00:37:17.080 Go to GOPvotes.org to find your polling location.
00:37:20.600 Vote early.
00:37:21.300 Stop the socialist takeover of America.

00:37:58.540 My favorite comment yesterday is from Caleb Bazile, 2219, who, in response to the Tobey Maguire story of, you know,
00:38:07.780 Tobey Maguire officiated the wedding of his wife to this billionaire heir.
00:38:15.960 He says, that's one way to respond to an email from a Nigerian prince.
00:38:20.220 That's true.
00:38:20.740 He's not, the new husband is not a Nigerian prince.
00:38:24.360 I don't think they're royalty.
00:38:25.760 He's just the son of a Nigerian billionaire.
00:38:28.280 But yeah, that's true.
00:38:29.620 You know, you think, you get those emails from,
00:38:31.640 I am a Nigerian prince, send me your bank account.
00:38:33.960 You say, bank account? 1.00
00:38:35.040 Here's my, take my wife. 1.00
00:38:36.940 Hey, you go, please. 1.00
00:38:37.780 take my wife, please. Okay. Poor guy. Poor guy. I don't mean to make jokes about Tobey Maguire, 0.99
00:38:43.420 but that was weird. That was a weird, that was a weird incident.
00:38:47.820 China is getting involved in the Iran war. There's a report out from the Wall Street Journal. Where
00:38:52.980 is it? I have so many reports out there. So much news breaking. New report shows how Yemeni militant
00:38:58.460 group is developing medium range weapons independently of Iran. So we're in this,
00:39:03.540 what now, six-month standoff in the Iran war. The issue is that Iran has closed the Strait of
00:39:08.480 Hormuz, which has 20% of the world's energy go through it, along with other things like petrochemicals
00:39:14.060 and fertilizer and all the rest. So they've really locked it down. It's very difficult to deal with
00:39:18.560 the Iranian system because the Iranian government and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps are
00:39:22.520 actually two separate entities. And so it's hard to even know who to negotiate with. And in any case,
00:39:26.620 the Iranians feel that they have leverage, especially going to the midterms. So the war 0.99
00:39:30.500 goes on and on and on. Now, the United States has a lot of allies in the region, so they've been
00:39:35.540 trying to get oil out in different ways. And Saudi Arabia has been trying to get oil out
00:39:40.580 in places beyond the Strait of Hormuz. The problem is that Saudi Arabia is fighting a war
00:39:46.440 with Yemen, specifically with the Houthis in Yemen, the Houthis who are a proxy group of Iran.
00:39:53.160 So Iran has all these different proxies, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and the Houthis are causing a
00:39:57.820 lot of problems. Because if the Houthis can defeat Saudi Arabia, which they look like they're doing 0.79
00:40:03.200 a pretty good job of doing, then the Houthis can stop the pressure release of the oil getting out
00:40:09.700 the other way outside of the Strait of Hormuz. And it gives Iran more leverage again. So you say, 0.71
00:40:14.840 okay, well, we've got to beat the Houthis. We've been fighting the Houthis for many, many years.
00:40:18.260 Problem is, the Houthis now are not just on their own. They're not just receiving support from Iran.
00:40:22.000 they're apparently being armed by China. They're receiving machinery that will allow them to
00:40:28.480 develop medium-range weapons that can work independently of Iran. And so why do I mention 0.96
00:40:33.940 all of this? There's so much more to say about the conflict. It's endlessly complex,
00:40:37.700 just as the Ukraine war is endlessly complex. It's just a reminder for people who are miffed
00:40:42.920 about the Iran war. I don't like the Iran war. I don't think President Trump likes the Iran war.
00:40:47.140 Had I been on the National Security Council, I probably would have urged restraint,
00:40:50.160 as I've said before, during, and after the war began. However, there are people who want to
00:40:56.160 reduce the Iran war to some kind of psychobabble nonsense, you know, just some whim of Trump's one
00:41:02.700 day, or they want to reduce it to one geopolitical issue. Usually people point to Israel. They say,
00:41:08.940 Israel just dragged us into this war. And Israel certainly tried to drag us into this war. Israel 0.93
00:41:12.500 certainly tried to persuade President Trump to go to war with Iran. There's no denying that. 0.51
00:41:16.660 but so did saudi arabia so did perhaps some of our other uh allies in in the gulf
00:41:23.740 so did many of president trump's advisors and president trump himself has been very
00:41:28.140 aggressive toward iran not just during his presidencies but going all the way back to the
00:41:33.660 1980s the reason i i mentioned the story about china getting involved is it one it means that
00:41:40.440 Iran war could really, really heat up. Ukraine is really about fighting Russia. Iran, in many
00:41:48.420 ways, is really about fighting China. But what it also means is you cannot reduce, as so much
00:41:53.780 stupid pundit commentary does, you cannot reduce these kinds of wars, especially when we're talking 0.99
00:42:01.200 about grand strategy, foreign policy, geopolitics. You cannot reduce it to some monocausal kind of 1.00
00:42:07.300 thing. There is so much more going on. Okay, these are imperial wars. The United States is an empire.
00:42:16.200 I know that we say that we're not an empire because we say we just have allies, but guess
00:42:20.320 what? That's what empires say. And so, we have this imperial league, and that includes Western
00:42:25.440 Europe, and that includes Eastern Europe too, I guess. That includes the Gulf states. That includes
00:42:31.600 the state of Israel that includes the Western Hemisphere. That is the American empire. 0.70
00:42:37.960 Russia has its own empire, and it's trying to reconstitute the empire that it lost with the
00:42:42.620 fall of the Soviet Union, which Vladimir Putin says was the greatest geopolitical tragedy,
00:42:47.420 catastrophe of the 20th century. So he wants to reconstitute the Soviet Union with the Baltic
00:42:52.280 states, with Eastern Europe. He wants to do that. That was their empire. China has its own empire. 0.96
00:43:00.580 It wants to reconstitute territory like Taiwan. 0.69
00:43:05.720 It wants to push its influence into the Middle East 0.87
00:43:07.900 and into Africa, and it's doing so very effectively. 0.94
00:43:10.280 And elsewhere, and Europe, and Latin America,
00:43:12.980 for that matter.
00:43:14.280 And so the war in Venezuela is an imperial war.
00:43:16.560 The war in Ukraine is an imperial war.
00:43:18.100 The war in Iran is an imperial war, too.
00:43:20.400 And the reason I'm mentioning it
00:43:21.960 is not because anyone needs to care about this all that much.
00:43:25.860 It's just to point out,
00:43:26.620 if your consternation with the republicans right now is because we went to war in iran and we're 0.98
00:43:33.600 going to have another stupid forever war for some ideological reason or because israel dragged us in 0.97
00:43:37.840 or whatever just know that's not really what it's about oh yes ideology plays some role yes our 0.99
00:43:46.460 alliances play some role yes israel plays some role yeah sure sure that it's about a lot more
00:43:51.660 than that. And the proof is China's arming the Houthis. Okay. If you needed any additional 0.72
00:43:58.420 proof, that is it. Right now, our pals over at Kalshi have the question up, will Trump visit
00:44:04.840 China before December 1st, 2026? 83% before January 1st, 2027? 88%.
00:44:11.500 Though that, where's that blue line there? Yeah, it's dropping in the last week. We're getting a
00:44:16.900 little frosty here with China, no doubt about it. Now, speaking of foreign imports, there's a story 1.00
00:44:21.860 I have to get to. It's really, really important. It's really important. The libs are trying to
00:44:28.720 ban foie gras, fatty liver, fatty goose and duck liver. They're trying to ban it again.
00:44:33.940 They've tried this before, and then they've often reversed course. But now, where's the story? I'll
00:44:40.860 have to read it. Here we go. Here we go. Not the Justice Department, no. Here, Vox.com,
00:44:46.500 Two U.S. cities could soon ban
00:44:47.760 one of the world's most controversial foods.
00:44:50.300 There's an obscure but high-stakes animal rights issue
00:44:53.040 in the coming election.
00:44:54.480 Voters in D.C. and Denver will cast their ballots
00:44:56.600 to decide whether their city's restaurants and grocery stores
00:44:58.720 can continue to sell one of the world's most controversial foods,
00:45:02.140 foie gras.
00:45:02.900 Foie gras is delicious.
00:45:05.040 I first had a pate of foie gras when I was two years old.
00:45:10.280 Not that, you know, I didn't grow up with money,
00:45:11.600 but, you know, we had relatives like the finer things.
00:45:13.640 I remember I just loved it.
00:45:14.680 It's so delicious.
00:45:16.040 foie gras and pate, it's just fatty liver. So it's the liver of a bird that has been
00:45:22.160 stuffed to the gullet through a tube in the last 15 days of its life. So the liver swells up to
00:45:27.940 like six to 10 times the normal size, and it's just so freaking delicious. And the tree huggers
00:45:34.480 and the animal rights people have whined about this for years. And they say, it's terrible.
00:45:37.620 You're force feeding the goose or the duck, and you shouldn't do that. So we need to ban foie gras.
00:45:43.420 And I'm here to tell you, this is just socialism.
00:45:47.740 This is about socialism, even if you're an animal rights person.
00:45:51.340 So one, people say, how could you stand for the force feeding of animals?
00:45:58.240 It's so cruel.
00:45:59.360 It's so inhumane. 0.95
00:46:01.300 I say, you know, we kill the animals before we eat them too, right?
00:46:06.960 Do you know what it is to eat animals?
00:46:09.980 Yeah, I'm okay with force feeding an animal. 0.99
00:46:12.000 I'm okay with killing it. 0.99
00:46:13.540 I'm certainly okay with force-feeding it. 0.98
00:46:15.540 And by the way, in the case of the ducks,
00:46:17.840 the ducks' gullets are built to swallow like whole fish, okay?
00:46:22.040 So it's not necessarily even animal cruelty to force-feed these ducks.
00:46:27.040 Yeah, it makes them a little fatter.
00:46:28.300 They waddle around in the last few days of their life.
00:46:30.420 But it's not – shoving a bunch of food down a duck's gullet
00:46:34.680 is different than if we shoved a bunch of food down our gullets
00:46:38.100 because ducks are not human beings.
00:46:39.760 And that's the real issue here.
00:46:40.900 Because I promise you, all these people who want to ban foie gras, basically all of them support 0.81
00:46:45.160 abortion. I shouldn't laugh about it, but basically all of them support euthanasia,
00:46:50.200 killing granny, murdering little babies in the womb for any reason whatsoever.
00:46:54.280 But they're really concerned that you're feeding the duck too much. You know, we say one of the 1.00
00:46:59.800 signs of a really affluent society is when one of our biggest complaints is that the poor are too 0.89
00:47:04.200 fat. And usually in societies, the poor are starving. In our society, the poor are too fat.
00:47:10.160 that's their big problem. Well, same thing here. Hold on. You're telling me the big animal rights,
00:47:15.960 the big animal rights problem is we're feeding the animals too much. Give me a break. And also,
00:47:21.640 it's far from clear that the animals are receiving any additional pain or blah, blah, blah. But the
00:47:26.020 other reason this is just socialism is because foie gras is a rich people food. It's kind of
00:47:31.180 expensive. I have foie gras like once a year, once or twice a year, but it's delicious. I love it.
00:47:35.340 I love having it.
00:47:36.460 You go over to your wealthy uncle's house or aunt's house,
00:47:39.740 and maybe they have a little foie gras patty.
00:47:41.600 It's great.
00:47:41.980 It's delicious.
00:47:43.560 I should eat it more, although it does kind of kill you.
00:47:46.600 It's kind of fatty and it's not good.
00:47:47.940 We don't need to get into it.
00:47:48.800 It's delicious.
00:47:50.180 It's a rich people food.
00:47:52.060 So you're concerned about animal rights.
00:47:54.080 If you wanted to do something for improving the conditions for animals
00:47:59.700 and reducing the suffering of animals,
00:48:01.340 if you're one of these utilitarians like Peter Singer over at Princeton, one of these big animal
00:48:07.620 rights activists, you would stop eating eggs. You would stop eating chicken nuggets. All these
00:48:15.220 animals are caged up. They can't move. They're living in squalor, filthy conditions. They're
00:48:19.380 pecking each other to death. It's horrible. You would stop it. But those foods are for everybody.
00:48:25.580 The only reason that they're taking issue with foie gras is because it's an expensive food.
00:48:30.700 it's a it's a imported food it's not a big part of american culture so it's but it truly it's
00:48:36.720 just socialism it's just it's a way to make themselves feel better and feel humane while
00:48:43.320 ignoring the big issue and forget about animal rights generally because these are the kind of
00:48:47.000 people who would kill little human babies okay so much more to get to so much more to get to
00:48:52.740 but we don't have time so we'll get to the democrat running for fayetteville county council
00:48:57.340 in indiana who is a new democrat star maybe the most articulate democrat in the country 1.00
00:49:02.020 i will get to that we'll get to so much more tomorrow right now it is time for the stupid 0.85
00:49:06.360 segment that ben davies created called lock in or log off we will uh we'll get to that and i'll 0.91
00:49:12.880 take your votes you got to give me your votes on whether or not you want to kill this segment
