00:01:24.940 as the American ambassador tells him to shut up before we overthrow the communist regime.
00:01:30.360 And Hugh Hefner's widow breaks the shocking news that her late playboy mogul husband 0.98
00:01:37.160 was a pervert. More important, she proves that the sexual revolution was completely 0.98
00:01:41.940 wrong about everything. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.
00:01:54.940 Welcome back to the show. Speaking of the Iran war, a young man, young right winger on the
00:02:06.940 campaign trail just asked Senator Cruz a great question about Israel. I think Senator Cruz gave
00:02:12.500 a great answer. Another important point about Israel, the Israeli elections were last night.
00:02:17.540 As of this moment, as of the airing of this show, it's not clear who won. There's no clear majority
00:02:23.880 that the Israeli elections are different from the American elections in that they have to form
00:02:28.220 coalition governments. And right now, it's totally unclear what the future for the government of
00:02:32.160 Israel looks like. But that's really good news for us. And it's good news because the pollsters 0.98
00:02:36.040 were wrong in Israel. And forget about Netanyahu. Forget about who the prime minister is going to
00:02:41.600 be. I just need the pollsters to be wrong. Because if the pollsters were wrong in Israel,
00:02:45.700 it means they could be wrong in America, which means we might not get completely destroyed by
00:02:49.620 the Democrats seven days from now. However, in the meantime, Iran is doing every single thing it can 0.86
00:02:56.960 to hand the government over to Democrats. Very distressing report out of the National Security
00:03:03.420 Journal. Iran is attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz at record levels. October was the worst
00:03:09.700 month for attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz since the war began. And this is important because 1.00
00:03:16.860 when the U.S. went in now for the second time over the last year and a half to Iran 0.89
00:03:23.440 to degrade their nuclear capacities, Iran played their trump card. Iran shut down shipping
00:03:30.140 in the Strait of Hormuz. So when Iran did that, the U.S. didn't totally expect that they would
00:03:35.920 do that. Iran's never done that before. When Iran did that, they said, okay, we're going to hold 20%
00:03:40.400 of the world's energy supply hostage for the foreseeable future. Okay, very fine. 0.98
00:03:45.260 Then President Trump says, okay, well, you think you're going to hold the energy hostage? I know
00:03:50.680 what we're going to do. We're just going to get the energy out ourselves. So the United States
00:03:54.280 starts protecting oil coming through the straightforward moves and brings back capacity,
00:04:00.000 not to where it was pre-war, but pretty close. So then Iran says, all right, well, our last big
00:04:04.700 moment of leverage is right before these midterm elections. I know what we're going to do. We're
00:04:08.320 going to redouble our efforts right now. The numbers are not great. The Washington Institute
00:04:14.520 for Near East Policy has the new data, which show that October saw more attacks on commercial
00:04:19.420 ships than any previous month since the organization began tracking maritime security
00:04:23.800 incidents all the way back in 2017. Dozens of oil tankers and cargo ships have been struck by
00:04:30.440 those missiles and drones in recent weeks, even as the Navy continues to move them through the
00:04:35.880 waterway. Of course, this was ever thus. I predicted it two months ago. I said, it's only
00:04:42.040 going to get worse. Gas prices are only going to go higher. Diesel prices are only going to go higher
00:04:45.400 because this is Iran's last moment of leverage. So the question becomes, is that enough to convince 1.00
00:04:53.300 Republicans to stay home, to convince people in the middle to vote for the Democrats? I'll give
00:04:57.020 you one related story before we have today's final take on the midterm elections. Here's a
00:05:03.220 story down in Texas, another oil-rich area. Texas has just opened the nation's first
00:05:07.800 detransition clinic. This is great news for America. This is great news for the poor kids 1.00
00:05:14.820 who were subject to the evil transgender ideology. It's great news for Ken Paxton. 1.00
00:05:19.000 Ken Paxton, the Republican running against Democrat James Tallarico, who I don't think
00:05:23.100 is trans, but he might be able to fool some people. Ken Paxton is the attorney general of
00:05:27.620 Texas. So Ken Paxton really gets to claim credit for this. After years of this Texas Children's
00:05:34.660 Hospital transing kids, doing experimental procedures on little confused kids with their 0.99
00:05:42.020 parents' permission, most of the time, I guess, to make little boys look like little girls, to put 0.97
00:05:47.600 them on puberty blockers, to put them on cross-sex hormones so that they can have their genitals 0.92
00:05:51.240 mutilated so that they can pretend to look a little bit more like the opposite sex. After years of 1.00
00:05:55.860 some of the worst child abuse you can possibly imagine. Ken Paxton, the AG down there, and the
00:06:01.600 Republicans were able to bring justice to bear and force a settlement from the Texas Children's
00:06:08.260 Hospital, force them to open a detransition clinic so that all the poor kids who were abused on the
00:06:14.720 Texas Children's Hospital's watch can have some of their medical procedures reversed and made right. 0.99
00:06:22.120 Really, really important use.
00:06:23.460 It's got to be free of charge.
00:06:24.700 For five years, that includes endocrinology, surgery, primary care, fertility counseling,
00:06:29.300 mental health services, social work, speech pathology, all the things that got screwed
00:06:33.640 up by the Democrats.
00:06:36.080 They now have to pay to make right down in Texas.
00:06:39.000 So great news.
00:06:40.660 Really big win for Ken Paxton.
00:06:42.200 I hope this convinces right-minded voters to pick him over the guy who says that God
00:06:48.020 is non-binary and the Blessed Virgin Mary is evidence of why we need abortion.
00:06:51.420 uh i i don't totally know but that that's that's the stakes of the election okay you got ken 0.96
00:06:58.540 paxton saying all right we're we are stopping the abuse of children in texas we are going to
00:07:03.460 right those wrongs and we're going to extract a pound of flesh from the evil child abusers who
00:07:08.320 did this on the one hand and then you have ken paxton's opponent james tallarico who was asked
00:07:13.740 what he loves most in the world here's his answer something that you love that's not family or
00:07:20.420 friends um i love i'm just saying this because it's on my mind the trans children
00:07:29.320 what do you love most in the world other than your family and friends what's your favorite thing
00:07:36.880 for me it would be cigars or philly cheesesteaks or i don't know a good a good scotch for james
00:07:45.680 Tallarico, it's trans kids. And you know why he said that? Because they're on his mind. 0.99
00:07:52.160 The trans kids are just on my mind all the time. Before I go to bed at night, when I wake up in 0.71
00:07:59.460 the morning, I would just have to say, as the Democrat nominee for Senate, that trans kids
00:08:06.680 are on my mind all the time, and I love them. They're my very favorite thing.
00:08:10.620 we are not even talking about a party that is just confused about sex and trying to do the
00:08:18.680 right thing but sometimes you know gets it wrong because they don't know too much about the subject 0.98
00:08:23.020 we're talking about a party that obsessively sexually abuses children
00:08:28.320 as a part of their platform for the better part of a decade now
00:08:33.780 the senate race in texas which is one of the really hot races if the democrats win in texas
00:08:40.420 it's kind of over. And that Senate race is now coming down to this issue.
00:08:47.060 This issue that is a defining issue in politics, not because there are so many kids who get abused.
00:08:53.400 There are a lot, way too many. Any is too many. But it's a defining issue because if a politician
00:09:00.000 says that a little boy is actually a little girl and we should castrate him, you can't trust that
00:09:05.880 politician on anything. You can't trust that politician to get you a bowl of cereal in the
00:09:09.200 warning or handle taxes or immigration or anything else. And the race is coming down to that. In the
00:09:14.880 final days of this campaign, Ken Paxton gets the Texas Children's Hospital to stop abusing kids
00:09:21.720 and to start to try to do the right thing. James Tallarico says, I love trans kids. They're on my
00:09:27.300 mind all the time. That's what it comes down to. So put that story in line with the Iran story.
00:09:35.420 The midterm elections will then broadly come down to,
00:09:39.360 do voters care more about protecting kids from perverts
00:09:42.940 than they do about paying an extra buck 25 for gas?
00:09:47.480 And a buck 25 for gas, I don't want to downplay it.
00:09:49.720 An extra buck 25 for gas is gas being up by 40% or more.
00:09:53.780 So I don't mean to downplay it.
00:09:55.080 Gas is expensive.
00:09:56.120 Diesel, especially, is very expensive.
00:09:58.160 But that's what it comes down to.
00:09:59.860 Do voters care more about stopping perverts in government
00:10:04.540 from mutilating and abusing little children than they do about paying an extra buck 25 per gallon
00:10:11.940 for gas. Do voters care more about stopping the intentional invasion of millions and millions of
00:10:20.400 foreign nationals per year than they do about paying an extra buck 25 for gas? You want to 0.95
00:10:25.920 blame Trump for going into Iran? You can blame him for that. Some people will say it was a smart
00:10:31.320 move or it was a worthwhile bet or geopolitically it may pay off over the long run over decades
00:10:36.920 because of the Cold War with China, which is really what the Iran war is about.
00:10:40.480 Some people will make that argument.
00:10:42.080 Some people will say, tactically, it was a mistake and maybe we should have waited on
00:10:46.200 Iran and some will say we couldn't have waited on Iran and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:10:50.160 Just put it aside.
00:10:52.380 So let's say you don't like the Iran war.
00:10:54.780 Let's say you're irritated by high gas prices.
00:10:56.900 We're all irritated by that. 0.84
00:10:58.760 The question of the midterms is, is that enough to get you to vote for the party that openly abuses little kids, at least the ones that they don't murder in the womb, that floods the country with foreign nationals, that supports burning the American flag, that wants to spy on Christians in their churches, that wants to imprison pro-life grannies for praying at abortion clinics, on and on and on and on and on. 0.86
00:11:27.400 And the answer is, maybe they care more about the gas. 0.76
00:11:30.780 I don't know. 0.85
00:11:31.740 Unfortunately, democracy is pretty fickle.
00:11:33.900 That's why our founding fathers and framers were so distrustful of it.
00:11:36.780 But those are the stakes of the election.
00:11:38.300 Okay, speaking of perversion, shocking story.
00:11:41.240 Pull over your car if you're driving, sit down if you're standing up. 0.84
00:11:44.320 Hugh Hefner was a pervert, according to his wife, his widow, his last wife.
00:11:50.800 We will get into her claim. 0.98
00:11:52.600 Her claim is that her five-year marriage to Hugh Hefner was really kind of like a rape.
00:11:59.680 That's it.
00:12:00.500 This on the heels of the Cornell 7 story, forget about five to seven hours of a menage
00:12:06.680 a week of strange activities between a girl and multiple boys. 0.97
00:12:12.100 Here, we have the widow of the founder of Playboy saying that not only one night at
00:12:18.400 the mansion, but a five-year marriage was actually tantamount to rape.
00:12:21.700 We'll get into what she means because there is a kernel of truth there.
00:12:24.260 First, though, I want to tell you about Good Ranchers.
00:12:26.080 Go to goodranchers.com slash Knowles, K-N-O-W-L-E-S. 0.51
00:12:29.400 There is a problem with making a really good dinner at home.
00:12:32.820 You start resenting restaurants.
00:12:34.420 You look at the menu, you think, I have better beef in my freezer at home.
00:12:37.520 Nobody charges me $12 for the potatoes.
00:12:40.040 That's where I'm at with Good Ranchers.
00:12:41.440 So we've had some amazing meals, some amazing meals that friends have brought us.
00:12:46.540 Meal train is really nice since the new baby has come.
00:12:49.940 But Sweet La Lisa made some stuff early, a little stuff since.
00:12:54.020 The one, the new one, and I'd never tried this before.
00:12:59.680 The Good Rancher's Wagyu Burgers as a Bolognese sauce,
00:13:03.600 because I never want to give up the burgers.
00:13:04.960 The burgers as burgers are the best burgers I've ever had.
00:13:07.340 But if you take the Wagyu burger meat and you mix it up
00:13:11.080 and you make a meat sauce out of it, a Bolognese sauce,
00:13:14.020 it is going to knock your socks off, man.
00:13:16.800 It is so unbelievably good, and the fat is so good, and it's just all of their stuff.
00:13:22.500 The filet mignon, the New York strip, sweet little Lisa prefers the ribeye to the, I prefer
00:13:26.940 the strip.
00:13:28.100 The chicken, it's some of the best chicken you're going to get.
00:13:30.240 The pork is great.
00:13:31.040 October is a great month to start.
00:13:32.100 Go to goodranchis.com slash Knolls, get 50 bucks off, plus free meat with every order
00:13:35.680 when you start a plan.
00:13:36.660 You can even build your own box starting as low as 129 bucks, or if you want to just save
00:13:40.240 time on the selection, get the Knolls box, because it's got everything you need for a
00:13:43.940 magnificent series of meals.
00:13:46.020 Go to GoodRanchers.com slash Knowles, $50 off plus free meat with every order.
00:13:49.500 GoodRanchers.com, American meat delivered.
00:13:51.960 Hugh Hefner's widow, her latest widow, Crystal Hefner.
00:13:56.100 She was married to Hugh for nearly five years.
00:14:00.620 And now she is going on podcasts to discuss her immense regret over the marriage. 0.83
00:14:08.320 Do you believe that you were raped by Hugh Hefner? 0.51
00:14:16.020 I do believe that I did whatever he wanted me to do. 0.97
00:14:20.020 And if that involves sex, then I just did what he wanted me to do.
00:14:24.820 Hef was his own Epstein.
00:14:25.980 He was like an open Epstein.
00:14:28.160 It's very strange.
00:14:29.440 Someone commented on my page, like, Hef was the Epstein everyone was okay with. 0.98
00:14:34.060 And I do think that's true. 0.53
00:14:35.960 And I also think Playboy paved the way for all this heinous behavior from other men.
00:14:39.220 I really do.
00:14:39.900 Like, it made it okay to see women as objects and not humans. 0.96
00:14:45.020 and, yeah, I think have really, really hurt society. 0.99
00:14:49.720 Okay.
00:14:51.160 I agree with this lady on her ultimate conclusion,
00:14:55.440 but what are we doing here? 0.98
00:14:58.280 The question is, were you raped by Hugh Hefner? 0.95
00:15:00.420 And she says in these very somber tones, 0.99
00:15:02.280 I mean, I did whatever he wanted sexually.
00:15:06.420 I mean, she was his wife, first of all, 0.99
00:15:09.020 but even then, she was a prostitute, right? 0.99
00:15:13.200 not to, I don't mean this to be insulting to her, but she was a prostitute. She took money from him 1.00
00:15:20.520 and houses from him and property from him. And she, I mean, she's like the most successful
00:15:24.220 prostitute ever in the sense that she became the wife, but I don't think she married Hugh Hefner 0.89
00:15:29.600 for love, right? Now, obviously there's probably a screw or two loose with this woman because no 0.98
00:15:36.480 woman in her right mind who was raised properly, who was seriously educated would ever marry Hugh 0.98
00:15:41.960 Hefner. I don't care how rich he is. It's weird. He's old and gross and clearly a pervert,
00:15:46.540 and she would just be part of a harem even if she were legally married. And so I'm sure there's 0.99
00:15:52.480 something wrong in her history and her life and her biography and her family. Obviously,
00:15:57.980 there's something wrong, but she goes on. She talks about how he was not gentle in the boudoir,
00:16:03.620 and then he's snoring, and she's trying to sleep, and she feels gross, and she's in pain,
00:16:08.280 and she says that he had other girls do weird stuff.
00:16:12.180 And okay, okay.
00:16:15.820 None of this arises to the level of rape
00:16:19.360 by the modern definition.
00:16:20.860 And yet, by the classical definition of rape, 0.71
00:16:25.140 she kind of has a point.
00:16:26.460 When I was listening to her interview,
00:16:28.460 it reminded me of an old interview
00:16:30.160 that Hugh Hefner himself did way back.
00:16:31.820 I think it was in the 60s
00:16:32.660 with William F. Buckley Jr., Mr. Conservative.
00:16:35.620 Mr. Sexual Revolution debating Mr. Conservative.
00:16:38.280 on Bill Buckley's show. Just take a listen, take a look at how Hugh Hefner sounds.
00:16:44.560 Sexual deviation as such is perpetuated by the kind of suppressive attitude on sex that we've
00:16:54.560 traditionally had in society. One of the things that we're strongly opposed to. Dr. Gebhardt
00:16:59.840 recently at the Sex Institute at Indiana University was asked whether he felt that there would ever
00:17:07.620 be a significant decline in homosexuality in America and he said not until we're willing
00:17:13.280 to put far more emphasis on the heterosexual than we are today.
00:17:19.820 Society itself and the kind of conditions that it places around sex very much determines
00:17:25.240 the direction that the normal or that the innate sex drive is going to take in people.
00:17:31.120 You can either have a society that emphasizes, that has a more permissive emphasis on the heterosexual and the healthy, or you can have one that is essentially restrictive, essentially suppressive, and leads to repression and results in a maximum amount of perversion, a maximum amount of frigidity and impotence and all the other problems that go with it.
00:17:55.740 Okay, so the first takeaway, looking at young Hugh Hefner here, is he looks like he's being
00:18:03.220 devoured by a demon, even way back in the 1960s. You compare him, Mr. Conservative Bill Buckley,
00:18:09.080 who's kind of reclining in his weird way, but he looks kind of blase. Yes, he looks a little bit
00:18:14.660 revolted at what Hugh Hefner is saying, but he looks in command of himself. He doesn't look
00:18:19.940 nervous. He doesn't look anxious. He doesn't look neurotic. Then you look at Hugh Hefner,
00:18:24.720 who's supposed to be Mr. Playboy in the smoking jacket with the pipe, Mr. Relaxed Intellectual.
00:18:30.240 And he looks like a scared teenage criminal. I don't know. He looks, his eyes are darting back
00:18:38.000 and forth. He's kind of fidgeting. He's kind of twitching. He looks like something's really
00:18:42.600 bothering him. He doesn't look comfortable. And if you've ever spent any time with a pervert,
00:18:46.780 you'll know that. You'll notice that. People who have not just sexual vices, but any kind of vice, 0.98
00:18:52.380 they don't feel comfortable. You know, they're kind of fidgety. They're kind of like they're
00:18:56.000 looking all around. They don't ever seem comfortable. Right off the bat, he looks like
00:19:02.360 a maniac and his ideas are fairly maniacal. A very funny thing, given that he's one of the 0.82
00:19:08.100 leaders of the sexual revolution, is his argument is that we need to have a sexual revolution. We
00:19:15.040 need to liberate sex. We need to have premarital sex and fornication and orgies and all that kind 1.00
00:19:19.260 of stuff. Because if we don't do that, everyone's going to turn gay. So now the sexual revolutionaries, 1.00
00:19:26.080 they're very pro-gay and trans and pans and whatever. But in the earlier days of the sexual 0.86
00:19:31.780 revolution, one of the arguments for it was that we have too many gays running around. 1.00
00:19:36.940 And so if you want people to stop having deviant sex and all sorts of weird LGBT stuff, you need to 0.99
00:19:43.380 make heterosexual sex more permissive. That's his prediction. If we have a sexual revolution, 1.00
00:19:49.700 we're going to have fewer gays. And what happened? Totally the opposite. Such that we had the 0.99
00:19:54.760 sexual revolution, it flourished for 50, 60 years, and by the end of it, 30% of Gen Z, 0.65
00:20:00.700 30% of the younger generation was identifying as LGBTQ+. So forget about the personal foibles 0.73
00:20:07.220 of Hugh Hefner, whether he was a neurotic, whether he was a rapist, as his widow seems to be 0.95
00:20:11.900 alleging, whatever. He was just wrong. The father of the sexual revolution, or at least the creepy, 0.82
00:20:19.940 funny uncle of the sexual revolution, was simply wrong about what it would lead to.
00:20:25.800 But it wasn't just the playboy men who were pushing for the sexual revolution. 1.00
00:20:30.460 It was the feminists. And the feminists predicted that the sexual revolution would liberate women, 1.00
00:20:35.960 it would empower them, it would bring them equality with men. Did that happen? No. The 1.00
00:20:41.620 proof of that is 50, 60 years on, yet all these women walking around Harvard's campus, around 0.99
00:20:46.640 Harvard Yard, saying that that campus was more dangerous for them than the back alleys of 1.00
00:20:51.520 Botswana. It was all these women saying that they were being abused and exploited, even in 1.00
00:20:56.700 explicitly consensual sexual activities. 60 years after the women said, we want to be treated
00:21:03.260 with regard to sex exactly as men are treated, 60 years later, they said, if you treat us like
00:21:08.600 men, it's rape. So it brings us back to the first point from Hugh Hefner's widow, who was a
00:21:14.220 prostitute, who knew what she was signing up for, and who came to regret it, and who now is 0.96
00:21:19.440 insinuating that he somehow raped her over their five years of their marriage or something 0.99
00:21:26.280 approximating a marriage. That is not rape by any serious definition. However, by a more classical
00:21:33.600 definition, it kind of is in the sense that the modern definition of freedom, which we talk about
00:21:38.120 a lot is neutrality and choosing. The older definition of freedom is willing predicated
00:21:45.060 on knowledge. So if you're deficient in your discipline or you're deficient in your knowledge,
00:21:51.480 if you're ignorant, you can't be truly free. And so the argument that she would make is, 0.79
00:21:56.020 well, obviously my relationship with Hef wasn't consensual. Only an insane person would get into
00:22:03.060 a sexual relationship with half. If you're a pretty young woman, you'd have to be totally 0.99
00:22:08.500 insane. You'd have to have mental illness to marry Hugh Hefner. And she's right about that. 1.00
00:22:15.320 So I guess according to a more classical definition, it wasn't all that consensual.
00:22:20.960 He was kind of exploiting her. But then wouldn't you say that any man who visits a prostitute is
00:22:26.040 exploiting the prostitute? All of a sudden, the moral criteria that we're considering
00:22:32.160 go a lot deeper than merely consent. So the problem for the modern sexual revolutionaries
00:22:38.540 and the feminists is they want to have their cake and eat it too. They want all of the 1.00
00:22:43.980 licentiousness of the new definition of freedom, but they want all of the rights of the old
00:22:51.940 definition of freedom. So they want to go out and have the menage a weed at Cornell or get the free
00:22:57.660 house from Hugh Hefner and have your life paid for, for five or six years. But then when they
00:23:02.260 feel shame and regret, they want to go back to the old definition of freedom and say, well,
00:23:07.100 he exploited me. He violated me. Perhaps he even raped me. And the thing is, according to the old
00:23:11.160 definition of freedom and the old rules of society, basically all of these people would
00:23:16.040 be arrested and imprisoned and possibly executed. According to the old definition, a guy like Hugh
00:23:21.560 Hefner wouldn't have gotten away with his behavior for more than two weeks before he was put in the
00:23:25.860 stocks in the town square at least. So you can't have both. And I guess my humble suggestion
00:23:33.500 to people who are recognizing that the sexual revolution has problems, my humble suggestion
00:23:42.620 to these people who say, you know what, this is bad and this is exploitative and things have gone
00:23:47.740 wrong and the kids are not okay. And my humble suggestion is, guys, everything you were taught
00:23:53.440 is wrong. The sexual revolution, it was wrong. We have enough data points now. Hugh Hefner was
00:23:59.860 wrong. The feminists were wrong, and the liberals were wrong. So if you want to have a flourishing 1.00
00:24:03.900 life, you've got to throw all that out. But if you're going to throw all that out, you really
00:24:07.200 have to throw all that out. You can't just throw out the Playboy Mansion. You've got to throw out
00:24:12.020 feminism. You can't just throw out the pornography. You've got to throw out the weakened sexual 1.00
00:24:21.960 mores generally. You got to throw it all out. Now, once you've cleaned house enough,
00:24:27.540 one new product you should purchase is Original Grain. Go to originalgrain.com
00:24:33.560 slash Michael, code Michael. I'm a big fan of watches. I've been a big fan of watches since
00:24:38.960 I was a kid. I was eight years old and my mother got me my first watch. And I got cool watches
00:24:44.260 from my grandpa and my mother. And they're not always super expensive. Actually, most of them
00:24:47.840 are very inexpensive. But I love them, and I love a nice mechanical timepiece, and you need to get
00:24:52.620 original grain. I just got this. Pull it up. I have to remove a few links. I'm a little, my wrists
00:24:57.340 aren't that beefy. I've got to remove a few links. The original grain watch, beautiful. This is steel
00:25:02.080 with a malachite green dial. A little avant-garde, but it's still got nice kind of classy proportions.
00:25:07.340 Nice, classic, beautiful. You can see the heart of the watch beating there. Anyway, it's great.
00:25:11.800 They're awesome. That's not even mostly the kind of watch that they make. This is a company that
00:25:16.400 was founded by great service members, two veterans, one of whom is a Marine Corps veteran,
00:25:22.460 with the idea that a watch should not just tell time, it should tell a story. So the main way
00:25:27.260 they make watches is not with stones like malachite, it's with wood, reclaimed whiskey
00:25:31.700 barrel wood, military materials, other unusual elements. Their military collection supports a
00:25:36.060 nonprofit helping children and fallen service members. You're getting something distinctive
00:25:39.600 with real craftsmanship and a mission that is worth supporting. With the holidays coming up,
00:25:44.520 that these watches are phenomenal.
00:25:46.180 I really, really like them.

00:27:10.440 We now move, speaking of revolutions, from the sexual revolution to the revolution in Cuba.
00:27:18.880 Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, is recruiting people for the CIA in Cuba to overthrow their regime.
00:27:28.340 He says, to those who seek to create positive change in Cuba, now is the time.
00:27:31.700 The disappointment of failed promises, corruption, and the privileged lives of only a few.
00:27:36.100 seize this opportunity to create the change you desire through a discreet partnership with the
00:27:41.800 CIA. What a great recruitment. Would you like to engage in a discreet partnership with the CIA?
00:27:49.740 Would you like to? What a seduction. Hey, don't worry. We're very discreet over here at the CIA.
00:27:55.900 Would you like to overthrow your government? Well, reply to this tweet. Send me a DM.
00:28:01.280 Probably you don't want to send a DM. Probably you want to reach out in some other way.
00:28:04.060 uh it's on man trump has been talking about this for a long time but it does kind of look like
00:28:11.000 we're going to overthrow cuba our friends over at calci have a poll up which countries will mark
00:28:16.120 rubia visit this year switzerland 32 percent qatar 20 cuba right now is at 17 and i think the verb
00:28:23.260 visit is doing a lot of heavy lifting here i don't think rubia is going to go visit for a state
00:28:28.020 dinner from the old communist regime i think if he visits he's going to be throwing on the double
00:28:32.840 Rolex, you know, the military fatigues, El Comandante, El Jefe Marco. And I think there's 0.79
00:28:40.980 a very good chance that this will happen. Why? Well, in part, we knocked over Venezuela. We've
00:28:47.340 been trying to knock over Iran, and now we're on our way back. We're coming back home anyway. You 1.00
00:28:51.320 got to bring the ships back to dock. I guess we'll knock over Cuba on the way. It has been 1.00
00:28:54.880 an element of the grand strategy of the United States for 60 years to overthrow the Cuban
00:28:59.940 communist regime more than 60 years at this point. But the other reason why, it gets down to
00:29:07.200 the geopolitical vision of Trump, which a lot of people have gotten wrong. For over a dozen years
00:29:13.280 now, President Trump has been called the N-word. A lot of people on the left and the right,
00:29:18.500 they want to call President Trump the N-word, a nationalist. But Trump is not actually a
00:29:25.760 nationalist. Trump is an imperialist. I called it from the beginning, and I was totally right,
00:29:31.820 and you know I hate to say I told you so. Nationalists, ideological nationalists,
00:29:37.820 don't demand that other countries give us their colonies. They don't demand that Denmark
00:29:43.680 give us Greenland. Nationalists, pure, true ideological nationalists, do not brag about
00:29:53.160 taking out the top general in one of our geopolitical adversaries and dropping the
00:29:58.460 Moab on some other country and knocking over another country, but keeping the regime
00:30:03.280 substantially in place, albeit reporting to us so that we get the oil. That's not how nationalists
00:30:07.980 operate. That is how an imperialist operates, which is good. Imperialism is good. And I think
00:30:13.020 it's a sounder understanding of the world. There are different forms of world order.
00:30:17.820 there is the polis the very local political community which has certain advantages and
00:30:25.740 it makes certain forms of political organization easier but it's got disadvantages too then there's
00:30:30.040 the nation and then there's the empire the nation is this kind of intermediate ground
00:30:34.700 but empire has traditionally been the favored form of government for christendom for our
00:30:43.940 civilization, in part because heaven is not divided up into lots of tiny little nations,
00:30:48.900 and neither should the world down here below. Let it be done on earth as it is in heaven,
00:30:52.700 we pray in the Lord's Prayer. And so we recognize that there's a kind of political unity
00:30:56.040 that is conducive to freedom. The argument for empire is that, and Dante makes this argument
00:31:02.380 in his book about this subject called monarchia, empire provides peace. That is basically the
00:31:10.840 offer of empire. And peace is essential for freedom and flourishing. You cannot really
00:31:18.540 have freedom and flourishing if you can't guarantee security. Because you're always
00:31:23.100 looking out for roving bands of baboons to come and steal your stuff. So you can't deal with that. 1.00
00:31:31.780 If you cannot protect yourself, again, if you cannot protect your citizens against the elements,
00:31:37.200 against literal beasts, 0.54
00:31:39.380 against other men who are more beastly than the beasts,
00:31:42.360 then you can't have a freedom or a flourishing society.
00:31:46.040 That's what Trump is after.
00:31:47.600 And he's saying, look, we have this hostile regime
00:31:50.400 90 miles off the coast of Florida.
00:31:52.540 We can't tolerate that anymore.
00:31:54.340 We have geopolitical adversaries like Russia and China
00:31:57.120 coming in and trying to mess around
00:32:00.120 in our elections, in our hemisphere,
00:32:02.140 and we're not going to tolerate that.
00:32:04.020 We have interests around the world.
00:32:05.140 We're going to pursue them.
00:32:06.040 That's what President Trump means.
00:32:07.200 when he says he's going to make America great again.
00:32:10.020 Here is the U.S. ambassador to the U.N.
00:32:12.160 having a little showdown with the Cuban ambassador
00:32:13.960 who clearly thinks the jig is almost up.
00:32:18.520 Ambassador, back away.
00:32:20.380 This isn't Havana.
00:32:21.480 I'm suspending the meeting.
00:32:23.020 You're not going to intimidate me.
00:32:23.820 I'm suspending this meeting.
00:32:25.140 Do you understand who you're dealing with?
00:32:26.980 This is America.
00:32:28.640 Back up.
00:32:29.680 Okay, so the Cuban ambassador,
00:32:32.120 you can see him there.
00:32:32.780 He's holding up some sheet of paper
00:32:34.220 and he's yelling.
00:32:35.020 He's like,
00:32:35.160 you know, he's singing, whatever. And then Mike Waltz is there and he says, hey, sit down.
00:32:43.980 You're not going to come up here and intimidate the United States in the United States. Don't
00:32:47.900 forget the UN is in New York. You're not going to do that. This is America. You sit down.
00:32:55.240 This is the language of a guy who knows that we're going to go in there and actually invade
00:33:01.720 and take Cuba, or at the very least, follow the Trump order, which is go in there, mess around
00:33:07.640 with the regime, make it a little more conducive to our interests rather than Russian interests
00:33:13.060 and Chinese interests. Speaking of the Cold War with China, President Trump, a lot of people
00:33:18.080 didn't understand this post, but I got it immediately. Trump is really upset that people
00:33:24.220 are calling AI AI. He really hates that people are calling artificial intelligence, artificial
00:33:30.040 intelligence. And so he's going off on the Wall Street Journal. He says, when will the Wall Street
00:33:34.500 Journal start calling artificial intelligence AI, a very bad and inaccurate name, SI, super
00:33:39.720 intelligence, the name which virtually everyone else is using or soon will be? In short order,
00:33:43.880 we will be officially banning the term AI, artificial intelligence, in all relevant
00:33:48.440 documents and everything else due to its inaccuracy. Thank you for your attention to
00:33:51.880 this matter, President Donald J. Trump. What is this about? Trump hates the term AI, artificial
00:33:59.320 intelligence because he thinks it's bad branding. I'm confident. I've not spoken to the president
00:34:04.360 about this. I've not spoken to senior advisors about this, but I'm pretty sure that's what this
00:34:08.500 is about. He hates the term artificial intelligence because he thinks it's bad branding because people
00:34:12.960 don't like artificial things. What do you prefer, sugar or artificial sweetener? What do you prefer,
00:34:19.140 grass or artificial turf? Artificial just has a negative connotation. What do you prefer,
00:34:24.860 leather or artificial leather. Everybody prefers the real thing. So Trump says, I know we're going
00:34:30.040 to get rid of artificial, which always has a negative connotation. And we're going to make
00:34:33.720 it super, which always has a good connotation, super intelligence. Now there's an ontological
00:34:38.840 problem here, which, you know, someone who's only focused on the branding is probably not going to
00:34:44.720 appreciate, which is that artificial intelligence is not intelligence. And the reason it's not,
00:34:50.460 it's not because it's not impressive. It's not because we shouldn't use it. It's not because
00:34:53.560 it isn't really cool. It's not because it isn't important to national security. Artificial
00:34:57.560 intelligence is not intelligence because intelligence, the intellect, is an immaterial
00:35:01.540 substance. The mind is not the brain. And the way that we know intelligence is an immaterial
00:35:08.980 substance is because intelligence deals with forms, immaterial forms. Like your eyes are
00:35:18.040 dealing with color. Your fingers and your touch, it's dealing with texture. Your nose is dealing
00:35:23.260 with smells, but your intellect is dealing with immaterial forms like justice, like freedom,
00:35:33.660 like mathematics, right? So something that's purely matter simply cannot receive immaterial
00:35:41.840 forms. That's why. That's like the philosophical jargon as to why AI is not and cannot ever be
00:35:48.020 the same thing as intelligence. So there are going to be a lot of people who they want to
00:35:52.800 get on the team, you know, they want to help with the branding, but they just can't go ahead and
00:35:56.380 call AISI because of this ontological issue. Because by the way, if you grant that ontological
00:36:02.300 issue, you're going to end up falling into all sorts of errors about human nature and about
00:36:07.520 religion and about God and about like the very texture of the cosmos. And so they're not willing
00:36:13.080 to go that far. But President Trump does have a good point here, which is we need to convince
00:36:18.340 people that AI is good rather than bad. And the reason we need to convince people that AI is good
00:36:22.880 is because we're currently in an arms race with China. We're in an arms race with China because 0.92
00:36:27.100 we're in a cold war with China and we need to win. A lot of the anti-AI stuff is coming from China.
00:36:33.860 China wants to displace America as the global hegemon or at the very least rise up to become
00:36:38.140 a rival superpower so that we have a bipolar world. And Trump doesn't want that to happen
00:36:44.060 because Trump is an imperialist. So Trump wants to run the world. And he doesn't want to be just
00:36:49.320 one nation set within limits, only minding our own business. That's the issue. So I don't have
00:36:54.460 any suggestion as of yet as to how we can deal with that AI problem. But that is why there is
00:37:01.840 pushback is because we want to beat China. We want to be the leaders in AI. We want to keep our
00:37:08.640 economy. Don't forget, AI is propping up our entire economy. Those seven tech stocks are
00:37:12.760 propping up the whole stock market. So we need to do well on AI, but we also can't totally forsake
00:37:19.980 our understanding of the cosmos in order to do it. So I don't know. We should workshop. What's
00:37:25.100 the new euphemism we should use for artificial intelligence? Is there another one? Let me know.
00:37:29.220 Let me know if you figure it out. Speaking of these sensitive political issues, these imperial
00:37:32.600 political issues, a young man, a young right-winger just asked Senator Cruz on the campaign trail
00:37:38.620 An important question that's on the minds
00:37:40.380 of a lot of young right-wing men.
00:37:42.780 I thought Senator Cruz gave an excellent answer.
00:37:44.640 We'll get to that in a second.
00:37:45.380 First, though, I want to tell you about GOP Votes.
00:37:47.540 Go to GOPVotes.org.
00:37:49.340 The Democratic Socialists of America
00:37:50.780 won primaries across the country.

00:37:54.140 and they're coming for you.
00:37:54.920 If they win the midterms, they will defund the police, 0.65

00:38:14.380 Democrats are energized.
00:38:15.580 The stakes have never been higher.
00:38:16.960 We cannot afford to have people like AOC and her communist cronies running the show.
00:38:21.300 That is why I need you to make a plan to vote early right now.
00:38:24.080 Go to gopvotes.org to find your polling location, vote early, and stop the socialist takeover of America, paid for by SLF PAC, not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.

00:39:30.020 That's 1-800-246-8751.
00:39:34.420 I didn't pick the comment today.
00:39:36.020 I don't even have my phone on me right now.
00:39:37.340 So this was all the producers.
00:39:40.220 We'll see if they did a good job.
00:39:41.460 It's from DJ Coldcut.
00:39:42.660 It says, all the walls were dirty
00:39:43.820 and the smoke detectors were chirping.
00:39:46.340 President Trump on the state of the White House
00:39:47.640 after eight years of Obama.
00:39:48.580 That is racist, sir. 0.99
00:39:50.520 That is racist. 0.99
00:39:52.200 What he is suggesting is that black people 0.98
00:39:54.040 don't change the 9-volt battery in their smoke detector. That is racist because 0.99
00:40:01.060 certain classes of white people do that too. But it's true. A lot of black people do that. 0.98
00:40:06.380 They won't change the battery in the smoke detector. But there are certain classes of 0.98
00:40:10.680 white people that do that too. I remember that. I'd go into friends' apartments when I was a kid.
00:40:16.140 And just beyond all the time. All the time. I actually didn't even know it was only a black
00:40:21.700 people think, or mostly of black people think. Okay. Senator Cruz, on the campaign trail,
00:40:27.760 stumping for Ken Paxton. He gets a question from a young guy that a lot of young right-wing guys
00:40:33.180 are thinking about, about Israel and America's relationship to Israel and why Israel is so
00:40:38.920 important to foreign policy and why we got to deal with Israel all the time and why anyone cares and
00:40:42.700 why we give them all this money. What's the deal with Israel? Senator Cruz?
00:40:45.900 I would say as a policy of my main problem other than the liberal stuff is the Israel influence 0.96
00:41:06.600 in America. So I kind of just wanted your thoughts on that because I know you're talking 0.69
00:41:09.500 to Tucker about that as well. So I think it's a really important issue to talk about.
00:41:12.920 And so I guess what I would encourage you is spend some time really studying and learning
00:41:17.880 because there's a lot of disinformation being pushed online.
00:41:23.440 So both China and Iran are spending millions of dollars trying to convince young people
00:41:28.580 that Israel is a bad guy.
00:41:30.420 And it's having a real effect. 1.00
00:41:31.460 A lot of people are watching things online and listening to them.
00:41:35.960 Listen, I strongly support Israel because doing so is in America's best interest.
00:41:40.060 Is that a biblical perspective or more of a just...
00:41:42.600 It is national security for America.
00:41:45.620 The enemies of Israel are the enemies of America.
00:41:48.260 I really like this answer from Senator Cruz.
00:41:51.440 By the way, I can't help but notice,
00:41:53.420 you know, there have been some reports
00:41:54.760 that Senator Cruz might run for president.
00:41:56.860 I can't help but notice that blue jacket's
00:41:58.640 fitting a little bit better, getting a little trimmer,
00:42:00.960 obviously hitting the campaign trail, which he does a lot.
00:42:03.340 But this answer I really, really like
00:42:05.960 because when pro-Israel politicians
00:42:11.000 are asked about supporting Israel, especially by young conservatives. And they give the answer
00:42:16.900 that we have to support Israel because God promised them the land 3,000 years ago.
00:42:21.240 It doesn't play. It just doesn't play. It lands so flat. It's a joke, man.
00:42:28.400 And it lands flat for a number of reasons, some of them theological, because the perspective
00:42:35.980 that we must support the modern nation state of Israel
00:42:38.920 because of some theological promise or prophecy.
00:42:43.500 That is a very novel and narrow theological view
00:42:47.500 that has not been shared by most Christians
00:42:50.740 throughout history.
00:42:51.480 It's actually been shared by very, very few Christians
00:42:53.240 throughout history.
00:42:53.820 It really comes out of the 19th century.
00:42:56.600 Many people listening right now might hold that view.
00:42:58.800 I'm just saying, it don't play.
00:43:01.180 It don't play on the campaign trail.
00:43:02.680 uh the next point that a politician might raise which i think could be more persuasive is hey
00:43:10.060 the jews have been seriously persecuted over the centuries and they were very seriously
00:43:15.720 persecuted and nearly exterminated in the 20th century and so it is a good thing to do for them
00:43:21.020 to have a nation state to call their own so they won't be persecuted in hostile nations that i
00:43:26.100 think is a more persuasive argument once again i travel to a lot of campuses i talk to a lot of
00:43:31.620 young conservatives, it just doesn't play that much. It doesn't play that much, in part because
00:43:36.680 the Holocaust was a long time ago. World War II was a long time ago. The historical memory has
00:43:41.180 receded a bit. It just does not have the same emotional pull that it would have one generation,
00:43:46.280 two, three generations prior. So I think the strongest argument that the pro-Israel politicians
00:43:51.860 can make is the argument that Senator Cruz made here. Because he's talking about the perspective
00:43:55.800 of national security. They say, well, Iran wants to blow us up. And that's somewhat persuasive.
00:44:00.280 you know, they do chant death to America. They do want us to be destroyed and weakened.
00:44:04.780 But I don't think a lot of people are afraid that Iran is going to immediately launch a direct 0.92
00:44:09.920 attack on the United States. I think that would be unlikely. I think it's much more likely that
00:44:14.660 they're going to launch a direct attack on the state of Israel. And so plenty of Americans are
00:44:18.200 going to say, well, you know, man, I like the Israelis, but what do I, I don't really care. 1.00
00:44:21.420 That's another country they can deal with it themselves. So there's the national security 1.00
00:44:24.300 perspective, which is somewhat persuasive. To me, the strongest argument is the first part of what
00:44:30.280 Senator Cruz said, which is the imperial argument. Just one little data point here
00:44:36.540 that should help us think about this issue. Let's say you don't care about the state of Israel.
00:44:41.360 You don't care about the Bible. You don't care about the Jews. You don't care about 0.98
00:44:44.700 foreign policy generally. You're sick of it, okay? You're sick of all the Israel talk.
00:44:49.300 Let's say all of that's true. I can't help but notice that China and Russia 1.00
00:44:56.000 really want to weaken the U.S.-Israel alliance.
00:45:00.580 Have you noticed that?
00:45:03.260 They do it sometimes in overt ways,
00:45:05.840 sometimes in more surreptitious ways,
00:45:07.760 but they are constantly trying to undermine
00:45:11.180 the U.S.-Israel alliance.
00:45:14.200 Why is that?
00:45:15.860 Why is it the case that our main geopolitical adversaries
00:45:20.320 want to weaken the U.S. alliance with the state of Israel?
00:45:24.500 It must be because the U.S. alliance with the state of Israel
00:45:27.920 undermines the growth and the increase in influence of our geopolitical adversaries
00:45:34.460 because this is imperial politics.
00:45:37.320 And so the kind of propaganda that our adversaries will push in is,
00:45:41.080 why does America care about any country in the world?
00:45:42.740 Why are they giving money to any country?
00:45:44.300 Can't help but notice China invests a lot of money in countries around the world, don't they?
00:45:48.860 Doesn't China invest a lot of money in Africa, in the Middle East?
00:45:52.900 forget that, in Europe, in Latin America. So if sending money to other countries and investing
00:46:00.380 and sending arms and technology to other countries, if that's so bad for the countries
00:46:05.160 that are giving those things away, why is China doing it so much? Russia does that too.
00:46:12.280 No, the way I think about the US-Israel issue is that America is a global empire and Israel is a
00:46:20.340 kind of colony, one of the colonies of the American empire. Europe is another colony of
00:46:24.800 the American empire. And it's just how it works. We've grown to become the global hegemon.
00:46:29.360 And sometimes that province over there in the Middle East has been troublesome going all the
00:46:33.260 way back to antiquity. And sometimes the tail does wag the dog a little bit, but that's just
00:46:37.060 what happens in imperial politics. And I think when you view the issue that way, it makes a lot
00:46:41.560 more sense of it. You might still want to undermine the American empire. You might still
00:46:45.280 want to reset the Israel relationship or any other international relationship.
00:46:49.820 But at least it will cut through a lot of the propaganda, a lot of these slogans that
00:46:53.880 I just think are kind of silly and part of the disinformation that Senator Cruz is talking
00:46:58.660 about.
00:46:58.940 Okay, speaking of people overseas, a story I really want to get to, Meghan Markle, one 0.91
00:47:06.060 of the villains of popular culture around the West.
00:47:10.440 Meghan Markle is getting a little bit more sympathy here because it turns out that Meghan 0.96
00:47:13.980 Markle's dad might be a pedophile, might be like a child abusing pedophile. And all of a sudden, 0.97
00:47:20.560 Meghan Markle is looking kind of sympathetic. We don't have time to get into the whole story right
00:47:24.520 now. But the reason that I care about the story is not because I care about Meghan Markle. I do
00:47:28.340 care about the royal family. I do actually, I do love the British monarchy. But the reason I care
00:47:33.880 about it is public opinion can change on a dime. You know, Meghan Markle was universally reviled, 0.97
00:47:39.920 and she's still kind of reviled. But if it turns out that she broke away from her dad because he's
00:47:44.440 a pedophile, and maybe she was abused, or maybe he was abusing others, and she was on the side
00:47:49.160 of justice and trying to protect children. And all of a sudden, she kind of looks like the good 0.86
00:47:53.340 guy in all of this. All of a sudden, public opinion changes pretty rapidly. And I'm really
00:47:57.700 concerned about public opinion changing rapidly because the polls are really bad for Republicans
00:48:01.460 right now, and I really, really need them to be wrong. We were talking about Israel a little bit
00:48:05.600 at the end of the show. It gets us back to Israel at the top of the show. The pollsters are wrong
00:48:09.020 in Israel. Let's hope, let's hope that it is true here. One thing you can do beyond just hoping and 1.00
00:48:13.780 praying is getting out to vote straight Republican down the ticket. Okay. Today is news or noise.

00:49:30.020 Have you ever seen a child starve to death, Professor? 1.00
