00:00:00.000 The crusade to inject every single person in the country with the COVID vax, regardless of their
00:00:05.940 age, health, or risk of dying from the Wu flu, has suffered a setback as two young children in
00:00:12.440 Indiana suffer from heart problems after a pharmacist accidentally injected them with
00:00:18.260 the Pfizer COVID vaccine instead of their flu shot. Family with children four and five years
00:00:24.580 old say they were accidentally given full adult doses of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine instead
00:00:30.880 of flu shots. They say it happened on October 4th at the Walgreens on St. Joseph Avenue.
00:00:36.380 The family of four includes two adults and two young children, both too young for the
00:00:40.940 Pfizer or any other COVID vaccine. Well, the family's attorney, Daniel Tooley, shared with
00:00:45.780 us what he says are vaccination cards given to the family by Walgreens. They show children
00:00:51.160 born in 2016 and 2017 were given a Pfizer coronavirus vaccine. The family says they left the pharmacy
00:00:58.020 thinking they had gotten their flu shots, but a Walgreens employee later called them and
00:01:02.380 said they had made a mistake. Tooley says the children have been taken to a pediatric cardiologist
00:01:07.340 and the family was told both are showing signs of heart issues. We've reached out to Walgreens
00:01:12.000 several times but have not yet heard back. Meanwhile, several Nordic countries are pausing
00:01:18.200 one of the vaccines for young people as more and more reports of heart problems crop up.
00:01:23.160 But the ruling class doesn't want us talking about any of those scientific realities. A lot
00:01:28.380 to cover if the powers that be do not censor this show. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael
00:01:33.820 Knowles Show.
00:01:34.260 Welcome back to the show. My favorite comment from Friday is from AM, who says a school shooter is
00:01:48.220 out on bail after shooting four people, but there were people languishing in jail for months for
00:01:53.500 trespassing and disorderly conduct at most at the Capitol. Yes, this is true. School shooters, if they
00:02:00.580 don't fit the Democrats' racial and ideological narrative, they didn't do anything wrong. They're
00:02:07.080 fine. It's actually a matter of justice that they get out on bail. But the insurrectionists,
00:02:13.100 the worst coup d'etat, those people are going to rot. It's not hypocrisy. It's just the hierarchy
00:02:21.260 today. It's just the way that our society operates. And the more we deny that, the worse off we're going to
00:02:28.980 be. We need to take care of ourselves. We've got to take care of our bodies. We've got to take care
00:02:34.720 of our fellow Americans. We've got to take care of the American rancher. We can do it all at the
00:02:37.940 same time with good ranchers. When was the last time you think you had American meat? Well, you
00:02:43.980 probably think you just had it. You go to the grocery store. You just assume you're getting
00:02:47.740 American meat. Sometimes it says local meat. Yeah, it's local to Latin America. It's local from far
00:02:53.920 away. Did you know that over 80% of the grass-fed beef sold in the United States is imported from
00:02:59.580 other countries, from overseas very often? Well, GoodRanchers.com has made it safe, convenient,
00:03:06.220 easy, and delicious to get your favorite meat, top quality meat, to help out the American farmer
00:03:13.120 and rancher. GoodRanchers.com delivers American craft beef and better than organic chicken.
00:03:18.200 They've got T-bones, fillets, strips, gourmet burgers. I love all this stuff, but the burgers,
00:03:23.380 oh my gosh, they are so juicy and delicious. You get steakhouse quality at a price that every
00:03:28.200 family can afford. Go to GoodRanchers.com slash Knolls right now. Save 20 bucks, or better yet,

00:03:49.520 slash Knolls. So much to get to on this Columbus Day. Happy Columbus Day, everybody. We'll get to
00:03:56.220 Christopher Columbus a little bit later, one of my favorite holidays of the year. Before that,
00:04:01.860 though, before we speak of the Italian people sailing with the Spaniards, we need to talk of
00:04:06.360 the Nordic people who are right now pausing their vaccines. So right now, Sweden, the Sweden Health
00:04:12.380 Ministry announced last Wednesday that it's going to pause injections of Moderna for people age 30 and
00:04:18.860 younger. So it's actually pretty high. We talk about young people, but we're going all the way up to 30
00:04:22.560 because of risk of heart problems. Denmark has a similar pause for people aged 18 and younger. That
00:04:29.120 according to Bloomberg. Finland, the following day, issued the same kind of pause. The Finnish health
00:04:35.800 official Mika Salminen says that the government's going to pause the injections of the Moderna vaccine
00:04:42.240 in people also age 30 and younger. The reason is myocarditis, which even the CDC and the FDA
00:04:49.040 acknowledge is a risk with these vaccines, and specifically in young people. A Nordic study
00:04:55.740 involving Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark found that men under the age of 30 who received the
00:05:00.360 Moderna spike vax had a slightly higher risk than others of developing myocarditis. How slight that risk
00:05:07.620 is, is apparently up for debate. Now, the left does not want us to have that debate. The left wants us
00:05:15.460 to pretend that the vaccines are 100% absolutely effective, 100% absolutely safe for every single
00:05:21.100 person. Don't raise any questions. But of course, we know that no matter how safe a vaccine is, there's
00:05:25.740 always going to be some risk. And the people who are denying that risk are destroying their own
00:05:31.540 credibility. One friend of mine who did permit this debate is my friend Alex Michelson. He hosts the
00:05:39.160 show The Issue Is on Fox LA. And he invited me on with a left winger named Brian Tyler Cohen. And we
00:05:46.040 debated the vaccine mandate issue last Friday. I really enjoyed it. I really liked speaking to both
00:05:51.920 of those gentlemen. I thought it was a productive, respectful debate. So you can watch that debate.
00:05:56.460 Maybe we'll post a link of it somewhere. But it's me and Brian Tyler Cohen on The Issue Is.
00:06:02.400 And I think we both lay out the case about as well as we can for our respective sides. And I think
00:06:08.020 that the side against the mandates is the winning side, because obviously there are legitimate reasons
00:06:13.740 not to get this vaccine. Okay. There was a study came out of UC Davis not that long ago. The study
00:06:19.920 showed that young men, some young men face greater risk from the vaccine than they do of dying from the
00:06:25.160 coronavirus. Okay. And it's, that's just the science and that's just the study and that's just the
00:06:30.000 experts. And I know the left doesn't want us to talk about those scientists and experts, but there
00:06:34.620 it is. It's a real, it's a real study that came out. Furthermore, we know that the vaccines in, in rare
00:06:40.720 cases perhaps, but nevertheless have caused blood clotting and women even killed a woman. And that's
00:06:45.260 why they paused the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. We know it can cause nerve damage as can other
00:06:49.940 vaccines. Uh, we know this, the CDC and the FDA have acknowledged this. And then furthermore,
00:06:55.260 there's the religious objection because all of the vaccines were at the very least developed,
00:07:00.400 if not also produced by using fetal stem cells. So there, there are obviously reasons that people
00:07:07.700 might not want to get the vaccine to say nothing of the fact that the infection fatality rate is half a
00:07:13.080 percent for people 65 and under. And for kids, for young people, the, the survival rate is 99.997%.
00:07:22.700 And for teenagers, for most teenagers, it's 99.999%. So it just seems to me there are legit reasons to,
00:07:29.480 to avoid getting this vaccine. And the left doesn't want us talking about it. And then when these rare
00:07:34.640 events come up like heart inflammation in a bunch of people, then they've got to pause the vaccine and it
00:07:39.360 further, further squanders their credibility. And by the way, even as recently as last December,
00:07:47.160 Joe Biden himself said he did not support mask mandates. Do you forget that?
00:07:52.500 No, I don't think it should be mandatory. I wouldn't demand to be mandatory, but I would
00:07:56.240 do everything in my power. Just like, I don't think masks have to be made mandatory nationwide.
00:08:01.600 I'll do everything in my power as president of the United States to encourage people to do the right
00:08:07.200 thing. And when they do it, demonstrate that it matters. So I, I misspoke and I said, he didn't
00:08:11.780 oppose, he didn't support mask mandates. He also didn't support mask mandates, but in addition,
00:08:16.740 what he's speaking there at the top about is vaccine mandates. And he opposed both of those things.
00:08:21.060 And now he supports both of those things and it further tarnishes these people's credibility,
00:08:25.740 but beyond the COVID stuff for a second, I've got to talk about a far worse proclamation that Joe
00:08:32.240 Biden made far worse than anything involving the virus and the woo flu and the masks and the shots.
00:08:37.780 I'm talking about Joe Biden's historic first ever white house proclamation on indigenous people's day.
00:08:48.720 Indigenous people's day is the lib alternative to Columbus day because in the lib telling Christopher
00:08:54.760 Columbus, one of the greatest men in history, the man who discovered the new world without whom we
00:08:59.460 would not be here right now. He was an evil, terrible monster and genocidal. And they make
00:09:05.800 a bunch of claims that simply aren't true. They base them on the dubious historical documents of a
00:09:12.300 man named Francisco de Bobadilla, who was Columbus's chief political rival. It would be like basing a
00:09:17.360 history of Donald Trump on Hillary Clinton's writings or vice versa, history of Hillary Clinton on
00:09:23.040 Donald Trump. It's just preposterous. Actually, the far more credible accounts are that,
00:09:27.140 that Columbus, while a broken man as we all are, was actually relatively quite a lot kinder to the
00:09:33.280 natives than, than the other Spaniards were. And furthermore, that he was an intrepid explorer,
00:09:39.600 a man of, of devout Catholic faith and one of the greatest men of his age and of any age for that
00:09:45.400 matter. So now we're not allowed to celebrate Columbus. We have to celebrate indigenous people's
00:09:49.640 day. My only question is which indigenous peoples are we celebrating? Are we celebrating,
00:09:57.000 the Taino Indians? That was the first amiable tribe that, that Columbus encountered when he
00:10:02.760 arrived at San Salvador. Or are we talking about the Carib Islanders? The Carib Islanders are, are the
00:10:08.820 people who attacked the Taino Indians. Columbus noticed that the Tainos had scars on their bodies
00:10:14.900 and they got them from the Caribs, from whom we get the word cannibal. They were a savage group of,
00:10:22.240 of native Indians in the Caribbean. They ate people and they bred babies, which they considered in the
00:10:29.140 words of Samuel Elliot Morris and a Pulitzer Prize winning Harvard historian, they considered babies
00:10:33.700 to be a particularly toothsome morsel. So are we celebrating the baby eating carob cannibals? What
00:10:39.060 about the Aztecs perhaps? The, oh, those much fetid Aztecs, you know, that wonderful civilization that we
00:10:44.940 read about, destroyed by the awful Spanish conquistadors. The Aztecs who, at the consecration of their
00:10:52.240 murdered, um, oh yes, 80,000 people over the course of four days by ripping their still beating hearts
00:10:59.240 out of their chest and then kicking their bodies down the pyramid. Does that, does that sound like
00:11:04.240 the kind of indigenous people we're supposed to celebrate? What about the Iroquois? Perhaps the
00:11:08.380 Iroquois would be a good example of this. The Iroquois who, who, uh, also ripped out the still beating
00:11:14.580 heart of their victims. One of whom was a Catholic saint, by the way, and, uh, ate them alive. They
00:11:19.300 engaged in ritual cannibalism. Are we, which, which indigenous peoples are we celebrating today?
00:11:25.300 Now you might say, Michael, Michael, it's not fair to judge the indigenous peoples or any people for
00:11:31.580 that matter by the worst things that they did and exclusively by the worst things that they did.
00:11:37.000 Oh, is that so? Oh, is that so? I guess that's a fair point. So perhaps we ought to apply that
00:11:42.840 standard to Columbus because if you apply the standard of only judging people by the very worst
00:11:47.560 things that they did, first of all, most of the things that people accuse Columbus of doing,
00:11:50.920 he didn't even do as Carol Delaney, preeminent, uh, Columbus historian points out. They accuse
00:11:56.240 him of doing things that actually other people did that very often he himself opposed. But,
00:12:00.680 but even beyond that, let's, let's say that he actually did the things they accuse him of,
00:12:03.540 which he didn't. When you compare him to the Aztecs and the Iroquois and the Caribs,
00:12:09.640 he looks like a saint, far from a sinner. He looks, he looks like one of the greatest men
00:12:13.680 in history. And so if we're going to celebrate the indigenous peoples, certainly much, much more
00:12:18.480 so we ought to celebrate Columbus day. And I encourage you to do just that. We got to stay
00:12:23.760 safe here, folks. We got to protect our civilization and our homes and ourselves, which is why I would
00:12:29.020 recommend you check out Ring. Help me help you. Help me give you peace of mind with Ring Alarm.

00:13:31.680 slash Knowles, K-N-W-L-E-S. That's ring.com slash Knowles. Speaking of the Hispanic people,
00:13:38.020 you know, without Christopher Columbus, there would be no such thing as Hispanics.
00:13:43.100 There would, what is an Hispanic person or a Latino person? It's someone who descends from the
00:13:48.720 native indigenous Americans and the Spaniards. And that mixture of peoples came together because
00:13:55.780 of Christopher Columbus. So if you like a Latino, if you are a Latino, if you appreciate the Hispanic
00:14:01.580 people, you, you ought to thank Christopher Columbus because without him, they would not exist.
00:14:05.600 Well, speaking of the Hispanic people, President Joe Biden is now canceling all remaining contracts,
00:14:15.680 border wall contracts that would try to secure our Southern border. And the left typically tries to
00:14:24.420 present the illegal immigration crisis as a, just a question of racism against Hispanics. Mind you,
00:14:31.560 Hispanic people who came to this country legally are not exactly the biggest supporters of illegal
00:14:37.260 immigration far from, and the polls reflect that. But Joe Biden is, he is now even knocking down
00:14:44.000 the pretense that he cares at all about the immigration crisis, that the last stop against this sort of
00:14:52.300 thing, the last physical representation of a way to prevent this crisis, the border wall,
00:14:57.240 Joe Biden is ending. He's can't quote, canceling the remaining border wall carrier contracts located
00:15:02.320 within us border patrols, Laredo sector, and all border barrier contracts located in the Rio Grande
00:15:09.220 Valley sector. So I just, what I don't want to hear anymore is from the squish Republicans who say
00:15:15.100 Joe Biden's incompetence has led to a crisis at the border. It's not he, Biden is somewhat incompetent
00:15:22.880 on a number of issues. But what's happening at the border is not because of Democrat incompetence. It is
00:15:29.080 by Democrat design. They want the border open. They want millions of illegal aliens, foreign nationals to
00:15:35.760 pour into this country. They think it will give them a permanent electoral majority. And so they're going
00:15:40.780 to do it. And they don't particularly care for the American nation. So they hate the symbol of the American
00:15:45.580 nation and the demarcator of the American nation, which is the border. They don't want there to be a border
00:15:50.080 because they don't really want there to be an America. And if you can come up with some other
00:15:54.480 explanation to me as to why at a time of unprecedented illegal immigration, Joe Biden would cancel the
00:16:00.080 remaining border wall contracts, please, I'm all ears, give me the alternative explanation. But to me,
00:16:04.960 it seems pretty clear, just as it has for a long time, but this is, I think, indisputable, that the
00:16:10.640 Democrats do not want there to be any sort of border to the South. They want to flood the country with
00:16:18.140 foreign nationals. And they're going to entice foreign nationals to enter this country illegally.
00:16:23.100 You're seeing this in the $3.5 trillion budget bill. And I hesitate even to call it a $3.5 trillion
00:16:29.700 bill. It's not. It's actually more likely a $5.5 trillion bill. Even the New York Times, by the way,
00:16:36.460 is admitting that it's going to cost more than $3.5 trillion. So this bill includes a whole lot of
00:16:41.140 terrible stuff. But one of the more offensive aspects of it is that the bill promises free
00:16:49.360 community college for illegal aliens, which is offensive on two fronts. One, because Americans,
00:17:01.660 ordinary Americans who follow the law, who just pay their taxes,
00:17:05.380 is they have to pay for their kid to go to college in most cases, right? They work hard.
00:17:12.040 They pay for their kid to go to college. They're paying taxes. Even if they already get some tuition
00:17:15.880 assistance at a community college, they're still paying taxes for that. And illegal aliens who flout
00:17:21.660 our laws, who break our laws, they get to go on the American taxpayer's dime. That seems wrong. That
00:17:27.600 seems unjust. But even beyond that, you now have a system where we are creating even more incentives
00:17:37.080 for people to come across that border. Which is not particularly nice for even the illegal aliens
00:17:42.740 themselves. They're just sort of pawns here. And they've got to pay vicious coyotes. And there's a
00:17:46.580 lot of rape and sexual assault along the journey. And a lot of crime. And a lot of very bad stuff goes
00:17:52.040 on. But people are so desperate to get into America, they're willing to do it.
00:17:55.480 And it creates this incentive furthermore to erode the rule of law here. And the cherry on top of that
00:18:02.880 is that the left gets more people into their indoctrination centers, which is why they want
00:18:06.400 to expand school. Used to be you'd go first grade to 12th grade. Then it was now everyone goes to
00:18:12.040 kindergarten. Now it's everyone goes to pre-K. Now it's everyone goes to college. And they just want
00:18:15.620 to keep students in that state indoctrination system for as long as possible, even if it's illegal
00:18:20.820 aliens. Because that will help them craft the future country. What is a country? What is a
00:18:26.880 country? If foreign nationals are entitled to all the same goodies as citizens, then there is no such
00:18:39.380 thing as a citizen. Then there is no such thing as a country. Then it's just a big space. And it's a
00:18:45.700 free for all and anyone can do what they want. If you, if you want to have a country, then you need
00:18:51.420 to have something that distinguishes your place from other people's place and your people from
00:18:57.520 other people's people. Okay. And if you don't, if nothing, if borders, if rights, if the ability to
00:19:04.720 go to certain schools, if the ability to vote, even in some cases illegal aliens can vote. If that
00:19:09.560 doesn't distinguish the citizen from the non-citizen, then there is nothing that distinguishes
00:19:13.760 them. And this is what the left has pushed for for a long time. And the New York Times is even
00:19:17.380 admitting this now. So I pointed out years ago now at this point that the protests of the American flag
00:19:25.220 are not just some eccentric activity by the left to protest police brutality or whatever. I said,
00:19:33.800 the flag is a symbol of the country. So if you are protesting the flag, if you're kneeling for the
00:19:38.920 Star-Spangled Banner, for instance, or if you are desecrating the flag, then you are protesting
00:19:43.740 the entire country, which is an incoherent action, by the way. If you're going to rely on your First
00:19:48.700 Amendment rights to attack the country without which the First Amendment rights wouldn't exist,
00:19:53.920 that is an incoherent action. It doesn't, doesn't make a lot of sense. And it's a really serious
00:19:57.920 problem. And a lot of the squishes said, oh, who cares? Oh, Michael, stop being such a culture
00:20:03.480 warrior. Oh, stop being so worried. It doesn't matter. They protest the flag. It's no big deal.
00:20:08.320 Well, if you protest the flag long enough, then it's going to be quite clear you're protesting the
00:20:11.740 country. And the New York Times is admitting this. The New York Times says a 4th of July symbol of
00:20:17.340 unity that may no longer unite. So the New York Times writes today, flying the American flag from
00:20:23.980 the back of a pickup truck or over a lawn is increasingly seen as a clue, albeit an imperfect
00:20:28.000 one to a person's political affiliation in a deeply divided nation. Right. That's true.
00:20:31.700 When we used to say, when we used to say that the, the right is patriotic and the libs hate the
00:20:38.000 country. We were told that's not true. Dissent is patriotic. We're the most patriotic people in
00:20:43.220 the world. Now they're kind of admitting this. They say, no, if you fly an American flag, you're
00:20:46.300 probably a Republican. And by the way, if you fly a rainbow flag or a Black Lives Matter flag,
00:20:52.500 that means you're probably a dem because, because the, the libs don't like the American nation.
00:20:59.260 So increasingly conservatives and Republicans are defenders of the American nation.
00:21:02.860 And the libs are defenders of, call it liberal empire. You know, the rainbow flag is a symbol
00:21:08.940 of empire and a specifically liberal empire that makes universal claims about sex and identity and
00:21:14.700 that are just as true in Timbuktu as they are in the United States. It transcends national boundaries,
00:21:19.440 which is what the left wants to do. They're now suggesting at the New York Times that we have
00:21:25.920 a new flag. They want a new flag because they want a new country. And if you want to keep your country,
00:21:30.040 then you got to fight back against this stuff at the level of symbolism and at the level of raw
00:21:34.760 political power. And speaking of the New York Times, I, I can't let this go. The, you know,
00:21:41.500 begging for a new American flag is far from the least, most ridiculous thing that was in their paper
00:21:46.620 over the past few days. The most ridiculous thing you might've seen in the New York Times
00:21:51.280 was their epic correction. I'm just going to give you without any context on the, the article that's
00:21:58.640 being corrected. Here is the New York Times is correction. Usually corrections, whatever. Sorry,
00:22:03.820 we said the number was 15 instead of 14. Sorry, we misspelled the name of the person we were writing
00:22:10.080 about. You're not as one little line of a correction. Here's this New York Times correction.
00:22:13.700 An earlier version of this article incorrectly described actions taken by regulators in Sweden
00:22:18.040 and Denmark. They've halted use of the Moderna vaccine in children. They have not begun offering
00:22:22.300 single doses. The article also misstated the number of COVID hospitalizations in US children.
00:22:26.960 It is more than 63,000 from August, 2020 to October, 21, not 900,000 since the beginning of
00:22:34.480 the pandemic. In addition, the article misstated the timing of an FDA meeting on authorization of
00:22:38.960 the Pfizer biotech vaccine for children. It is later this month, not next week.
00:22:44.240 But other than that, the article was totally right. Did, did the article get anything right?
00:22:49.680 Because the correction was about the length of an article. So typical attention to detail
00:22:58.120 and fact and reality from the New York Times. And the sad thing is we'll make fun of this correction
00:23:04.460 on the show. A lot of conservatives will notice this correction and no one else will. They run the
00:23:09.840 article on page A1. I don't know exactly where this particular article ran, but they run the wild,
00:23:16.900 sensational left-wing claims toward the front of the paper. And they issue the correction days and
00:23:22.540 days and days later, sometimes in print, sometimes just online, and you barely see it. So they get
00:23:29.020 away with the story. No credibility whatsoever. And when we catch it, you got to, you got to remember
00:23:36.780 to apply that to other stories. If they were dead wrong about that, what else are they dead wrong
00:23:41.760 about? You know, Christopher Columbus, I don't know if I've mentioned this to you yet. Christopher
00:23:46.860 Columbus was a great man, one of the greatest men in history. And the left is peddling a lot of
00:23:52.740 anti-history to smear his name. So we're going to celebrate him. Columbus unlocked the greatest
00:23:57.880 continent, our wonderful continent. And we're letting you unlock the greatest content. See what we did

00:24:33.780 that what we do best? This will be an event and a live stream unlike any other we've ever done.
00:24:38.660 We're thrilled to be able to share it with all of you. We've got a lot of exciting announcements,
00:24:42.840 some of which you are certainly not going to want to miss. So be sure to tune in. Join me,

00:24:51.280 backstage like never before. Tomorrow's live stream will begin at 8.30 Eastern, 7.30 Central.
00:24:57.020 Head on over to dailywire.com or the Daily Wire YouTube channel to catch the show. We'll be right back
00:25:01.100 with a lot more. We got some good news, which is a rarity these days in our news cycle, but some good
00:25:17.880 news on this Columbus Day. Texas's pro-life law, the six-week abortion ban, is back in effect. Now,
00:25:26.000 you might say, Michael, I didn't know it ever went out of effect. Yes, it did go out of effect because
00:25:29.540 the law passes in Texas, and the law is a sort of unique pro-life law. That's why it didn't just
00:25:36.740 get smacked down right away. The law does not just outright ban abortion. They're not able to do that
00:25:43.200 because of the ridiculous Roe versus Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey decisions,
00:25:47.440 because those decisions created a fictitious constitutional right to abortion. The laws
00:25:52.220 in Texas or in other states can't just outright ban abortion. So what they did was they permitted
00:25:56.380 citizens of the state, maybe citizens of other states too, to sue people who participate in an
00:26:03.300 abortion. Not the mother, but people who drive you there, people who perform the abortions,
00:26:07.240 anyone who's associated with the abortion. And so that, for all intents and purposes,
00:26:11.340 shuts down abortion. So some degenerate judge who wanted to legislate from the bench said,
00:26:17.280 no, absolutely not. We're going to stop this law from taking effect. Well, now another federal judge
00:26:21.380 has come in and lifted the injunction against the enforcement of the near total abortion ban. That
00:26:28.460 was from the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Judge Robert Pittman had issued the injunction
00:26:34.020 blocking the law, and now that has been lifted. So babies are going to be saved, at least for now,
00:26:41.560 in Texas. The reason I even bring up this story, I'm sure this is going to be reversed 10 million
00:26:45.480 more times before they settle the question. The reason I bring it up is to remind you,
00:26:50.120 it's not enough just to pass the law. If we really lived under the schoolhouse rock kind of
00:26:57.020 government, I'm a bill up on Capitol Hill, that sort of thing, then it might be enough. You pass
00:27:01.060 the law, and then it's good. Then you're all good, and you can, okay, go home. We're all happy.
00:27:05.380 But that's not how our government really works. Yes, you got to pass the pro-life law. Then you have
00:27:10.460 to enforce it. Then you got to fight it in the courts, and then you got to keep on fighting tooth and nail.
00:27:14.160 They're going to be fighting this thing for years, for years to try to defend pro-life.
00:27:20.160 The passage of a law like this is not the end. It's only the beginning, and you've got to gear up
00:27:24.660 for a years and years and years long battle. That's what the left has done. It's why they
00:27:27.780 gained a lot of ground on abortion. If we want to get that ground back, we're going to have to fight
00:27:33.320 for a long time as well, because these are very sick people. These are very, very sick people who are
00:27:38.680 defending abortion. I read an interview from the Lilly. I think this is put out by, what is it,
00:27:45.240 from the Washington Post, I think. It was an interview of a Texas abortionist. Here's the
00:27:51.420 headline. Abortion care is a calling for this Texas doctor. Now he faces a dilemma. Risk lawsuits or quit.
00:28:00.080 I looked into this guy. He said that killing babies is his, quote, life's calling. He says,
00:28:09.640 if I can keep doing this for the rest of my career, I will be very happy. He has kids. He's a deadbeat,
00:28:17.580 so he doesn't, it's not like he sees his kids all that much. He left his family, or his family left
00:28:22.720 him, and he didn't try to get them back. He's got these three kids, but his ex-wife says that even
00:28:29.860 when he lived near the kids, he didn't see them very much. Quote, he was so involved in his career,
00:28:34.500 then residency, then he found his love of abortion care. So even when he lived right down the road,
00:28:39.140 he didn't see his kids very much because he was too obsessed with killing other people's babies.
00:28:44.560 Now he's married to a second wife who is a big lib. She was voted most likely to start a protest by her
00:28:51.060 grad school peers. They refer to each other as partners, like they're either homosexuals or
00:28:56.500 members of an accounting firm, but they don't refer to one another as their husband and wife, right?
00:29:00.360 My husband, my wife, no, that's far too traditional. And actually, speaking of unusual sexual desires,
00:29:06.040 he refers to himself as queer, even though he's got a wife, but he refers to himself as queer,
00:29:11.580 and quote, a little femmy. So he's confused. He's confused. There's a lot of confusion going on here.
00:29:18.380 And he spends his life killing other people's babies. And he makes a lot of money doing it.
00:29:23.640 You know, he's got student debt. He's got to pay child support. And so he makes money. Every time
00:29:28.220 he kills a baby, he makes money for it. So obviously he wants to keep the business going,
00:29:32.020 keep the racket going. And the reason I mentioned this guy is one, just I'm actually sort of shocked
00:29:37.280 that a left-wing outlet would give you a peek into these kinds of people. Because you just look at
00:29:43.160 this guy and he looks like a creep and he is a creep and he's a ghoul. But the other reason I
00:29:50.060 bring it up is that guy, this doctor is the logical conclusion of safe, legal, and rare, right?
00:30:00.320 Safe, legal, and rare was the old democratic line on abortion, which is they wanted, they defended
00:30:05.280 killing babies en masse, million a year, but they didn't, they understood that that was an evil thing.
00:30:10.880 So they didn't want to take total ownership of it. So they say, look, for whatever reason it has to
00:30:15.140 be legal, but it should be rare. It's not like I support abortion. I just support the right to
00:30:19.420 choose. Well, that never made sense because if abortion is morally similar to murder, then it
00:30:24.160 shouldn't be legal. And if it's not, if it's just like getting your appendix out, then there's no
00:30:27.760 reason for it to be rare. And the moment you start defending the right, quote unquote, the right to
00:30:32.660 an abortion, eventually you have to defend its substantive goodness as well. And that's what the left
00:30:37.560 is doing now. He's saying it's his life's calling. He just, he loves it. His bloodlust
00:30:43.400 knows no end. And so this guy might be a particular psychopath, but anyone who is going to defend
00:30:49.580 abortion ultimately has to partake of this kind of argument. And to see it unvarnished, to just look
00:30:57.160 at the disorder of this thing right in the eyes, I think tells you what side you ought to be on.
00:31:02.440 Do you want to be on the side of this psycho or do you want to be on the side of the babies,
00:31:07.720 of protecting little innocent babies? Speaking of the sexual revolution,
00:31:12.980 got to defend my buddy Charlie Kirk for a moment. Charlie Kirk, as he often does, was trending on
00:31:17.320 Twitter. He got in trouble. Charlie is always getting himself in trouble. And Media Matters and
00:31:23.000 Jason Campbell, who I refer to as my personal publicist, he is one of the people who were at
00:31:28.700 Media Matters. They work, they just watch all of our shows all day and they try to get us fired.
00:31:32.640 And they haven't, they've gotten close sometimes, but they have not succeeded in doing that. So he
00:31:36.560 was going after Charlie and he pulled this clip from Charlie. He said, this is shocking. This is
00:31:40.520 insane. He says, quote, Charlie Kirk warns that Democrats want you living in sexual anarchy.
00:31:48.400 Here's what Charlie said. You think we're still living in the 1980s where the Democrats actually want
00:31:53.620 what's best for America? The Democrats want to destroy the country. We know this.
00:31:58.640 This is not new stuff. It's not profound thinking. They want to see America completely obliterated,
00:32:07.040 the Constitution shredded, and remade in their own San Francisco, Brooklyn, Malibu, Manhattan
00:32:15.160 image. Where there is no cultural identity, where you live in sexual anarchy, where private property is a
00:32:23.340 thing of the past, and the ruling class controls everything. We know this.
00:32:28.720 It's crazy that Charlie, can you believe Charlie said that? It's insane. I totally disagree. But
00:32:34.480 what, but what did he get wrong exactly? What, what part of what he just said was wrong?
00:32:42.020 I think a conservative will listen to that and say, no, that's obviously just common sense.
00:32:45.100 But what's weird here is that I think even a liberal, even some left winger like the people
00:32:51.360 at Media Matters, if they're being honest, which they usually are not, but if they're being honest,
00:32:56.080 at least with themselves, I think they would agree with what Charlie said too.
00:33:01.220 What, what is sexual anarchy? Seems to me that the, the dominant view of sexual morality since the
00:33:07.940 1960s, at least, is if it feels good, do it. If you want to do something sexually, if you want to
00:33:15.060 have premarital sex, if you want to hook up, if you want to do whatever you want to do, if, if you
00:33:20.400 want to do it, you should do it. And there's only one little caveat here, which is that everything's
00:33:25.440 got to be consensual. So if things are not consensual, then eventually you get some Me Too
00:33:29.020 problems and things. They're not going to go that far as to defend rape. But anything short of
00:33:34.120 non-consensual sex, it seems to me the left defends, right? That, well, what is sexual anarchy?
00:33:42.600 Sexual anarchy, anarchy, right? Anarchy is the system where there's no formal government. You
00:33:47.160 don't really have to follow any, any rules beyond the defense of one's own radical individual autonomy
00:33:53.680 and consent. And then you apply this in the realm of sex. It seems like Charlie is using a very precise
00:33:58.540 term to describe exactly what the left wants. But the left knows that that's insane at a,
00:34:04.120 some deep, deep down level. I think the left knows that that is insane to say that sexually or in
00:34:10.120 any other aspect of life, you can do absolutely whatever you want and there are no rules and no
00:34:14.080 moral order whatsoever. So they don't want to admit that, but that is what they're saying. And that is
00:34:18.420 what they're defending. And Charlie Kirk was absolutely 100% correct. Speaking of consent,
00:34:26.600 you might have some trouble getting back from a vacation, getting to a business trip, even getting
00:34:32.900 here to Nashville for our backstage show tomorrow. I got a very sad message I got on Instagram from
00:34:38.520 someone who was unpacking her bag because she had booked a flight to come to Nashville for the
00:34:44.340 backstage show. She bought her ticket, but she couldn't come because a lot of airlines, notably
00:34:50.120 Southwest Airlines, is canceling a ton of flights. Just yesterday, Southwest canceled more than a thousand
00:34:57.320 flights. A thousand flights. 25%, more than 25% of all the flights they had that day. Now, the airline
00:35:05.580 hasn't explained why they canceled the flights. They tried to kind of blame it on weather, but I don't
00:35:10.920 think it was weather. I'm skeptical that it was weather. I suspect they're trying, quote, to recover our
00:35:19.760 operation because of a reported and rumored employee sick out that employees, not just of Southwest,
00:35:28.220 but of a lot of other airlines are protesting the vaccine mandate. Because while one might make the
00:35:37.180 prudential judgment to get the vaccine, right? They might say, oh, my risk from the vaccine is not so
00:35:42.220 great and my risk from the virus might be a little high. So, okay, I'm going to take the risk. I'm going
00:35:45.480 to get the vaccine. And plenty of people have done that. And ostensibly, they seem like they're
00:35:49.360 completely fine. But other employees might say, you know, I'm healthy. I'm young. There is some risk of
00:35:55.440 the vaccine. I'm not so afraid of my risk from the virus, so I'm not going to get it. And you, Southwest, and
00:36:00.980 you, OSHA, and you, Joe Biden, are not going to make me get it. And so they're protesting it. And now the
00:36:06.420 flights are canceled. And that's too bad. And I'm very sorry for people whose flights are canceled. And I travel
00:36:12.040 all the time by airplane, and I bet some of my flights are going to be canceled too. And that's
00:36:15.400 going to be very inconvenient. But this is actually great news. And the great news is this. The people
00:36:20.000 still have a lot of power. The people still have, the ruling class has taken a ton of political power,
00:36:25.680 a disproportionate amount of political power. That's true in big tech. It's true in the
00:36:29.840 government. It's true in corporations. It's true in the schools. They are punching above their weight
00:36:33.400 in terms of their political power. But the people still have some power too. And if you just don't go
00:36:38.620 along with this stuff, you do so in a respectful, dignified, moral way, but you just don't really go
00:36:44.300 along with the overreaches of these predator ruling class oligarchs, you're still going to have some
00:36:52.320 power. And they're really going to get upset when their flights do not show up on time.
00:36:57.300 You know, speaking of the people versus the ruling class, I have to mention this at least briefly.
00:37:02.020 The Economist, just sort of just like the neoliberal establishment magazine,
00:37:07.480 The Economist is trying to get us to eat bugs again. These guys really want us to eat bugs.
00:37:15.000 I don't want to eat bugs, but the neolibs, the ruling class, they really want, you see an article
00:37:20.620 about this every week it seems. Someone's trying to say, you know, bugs are really good. Oh, bugs are
00:37:25.880 a good source of protein. We, you know, humans have historically shunned bugs, but we need to,
00:37:30.200 because bugs are sustainable and it'll stop global warming in the sun monster. And so you got to eat
00:37:33.540 bugs. And you know, there's a meme that has arisen in response to this where people say,
00:37:37.180 I will not live in the pod. I will not eat the bugs. I will not consume your product or comply
00:37:44.320 or go along with this. Why not? Why not is the question that The Economist and the ruling class
00:37:51.300 asks. Why won't you just eat the bugs? Why won't you eat the bugs? What, what rational argument are
00:37:55.780 you got? I get you're freaked out and creeped out by them, but what's the rational argument for not
00:37:59.980 eating the bugs? My argument is this. It's yucky. It's yucky and it's uncivilized and it's what
00:38:06.680 savages do, but it's not what civilized people do. And I don't want to. And we all have this kind
00:38:11.900 of wisdom of repugnance that we just don't want to eat the bugs. We don't want to eat the bugs and
00:38:16.740 we don't have to eat the bugs. There is more to life than just matter. Okay. Life is not just measured
00:38:21.260 in the grams of protein in, in any particular thing. All right. There is culture, there is civilization,
00:38:26.940 there is refinement. There is a kind of wisdom that, that, that defies the rationalist utilitarian
00:38:34.420 calculations of our idiotic ruling class. And I think we ought to trust that a lot more. And we
00:38:41.160 still have the political right to defend it. Speaking of the gap between the ruling class
00:38:49.260 and the people, Terry McAuliffe, governor of Virginia, running for reelection. He's running
00:38:54.480 against the Republican Glenn Youngkin. He just got called out. He just got smacked down on a local
00:39:01.280 news channel. He was asked about this nationwide phenomenon of, of parents showing up to the school
00:39:07.920 boards, parents of every color, of every shape, of every stripe saying, we do not want you instructing
00:39:13.680 our kids in critical race theory and these kooky, insane, vicious racial ideologies and gender ideologies
00:39:18.840 for that matter. And we, we don't want that in our schools. So Terry McAuliffe, the governor of
00:39:25.260 Virginia, backed himself into a corner here because he's got to defend critical race theory and pretend
00:39:32.140 that it doesn't exist. And the, the anchor on this show is not having it. So how do you define it?
00:39:38.180 Anita, it is not taught here in Virginia.
00:39:40.880 So I'm not going to spend my time on what it is. I'm not even spending my time because the school
00:39:48.840 board and everyone else has come out and said, it's not taught. It's racist. It's a dog whistle.
00:39:53.620 But if we don't have a definition, how can we say it's racist? I just want a definition from you.
00:39:58.540 It's not taught here in Virginia. We can ask about any topic. Here's what I've said all along. And it
00:40:03.720 really bothers me. You know, I re it really bothers me. This whole idea of stirring parents up to create
00:40:09.880 divisions. Our children are going through such challenges today because of COVID. And we're
00:40:15.100 talking about something here today, wasting precious viewers time.
00:40:19.920 Keep spinning, buddy. Do you see the, the two arguments he's making simultaneously are critical
00:40:25.080 race theory does not exist here. And if you oppose it, you're a racist. So hold on. Wait,
00:40:31.200 I thought it doesn't exist. Yeah. But if you oppose it, the thing that doesn't exist, you're a big
00:40:34.980 racist. Hmm. Huh. And, and the woman, good honor. I mean, she really holds his feet to the fire. She
00:40:40.540 says, I'm not asking you whether or not it exists here. I'm just asking you so we can have a
00:40:44.940 conversation and so we can ascertain whether or not it exists. What is it? He goes, it doesn't,
00:40:50.200 it's not here. Yeah. Right. But whether it's here or not, what is, what is critical race theory?
00:40:54.920 And he won't, he won't give a definition. And it's not because he's a stupid man. It's because he
00:41:00.200 knows that the moment he does define critical race theory, it will become quite clear that it is
00:41:06.420 taught in these Virginia schools. Critical race theory, a derivation of critical theory,
00:41:12.220 a line of Marxist thinking that examines the culture. I've got, here it is. I've got the,
00:41:18.320 I've got the definitive collection of critical race theory essays here. And it is less a unified
00:41:24.140 theory than it is a gadfly on other systems. But the short version of it is that America is a white
00:41:29.260 supremacist place. Whiteness is evil. Whiteness needs to be abolished. Even the American system of
00:41:33.560 capitalism is infused and imbued with this whiteness. And so it's evil and wrong. And we've
00:41:38.640 got to abolish it and completely upend the culture. That's basically what it is. I mean,
00:41:41.700 it makes other claims too, but that's what it is. And that is being taught in schools and in
00:41:45.880 boardrooms and all throughout the culture. And parents have every right to oppose it. And we ought to
00:41:52.800 oppose it. That's where a lot of this anti-Columbus stuff comes from too, by the way. It's just
00:41:55.740 anti-Western culture, right? Columbus is in many ways an embodiment of Western civilization. He's
00:42:02.540 a self-made man and intrepid explorer. You know, the admiral of the ocean sea, deeply,
00:42:07.320 devoutly Catholic, spread the gospel, really great guy. And so people hate Columbus for that. There
00:42:12.280 was a TikTok that just, just went viral. I'm not on TikTok yet myself, but I see them posted all
00:42:19.320 around. And so here is a young individual of sort of androgynous presentation going out and saying
00:42:28.200 that if you defend Columbus, you're evil, you're racist, you're stupid, and you're uneducated. So
00:42:31.640 he's going to educate us. No matter what I say, there's still going to be that person that celebrates
00:42:36.240 Columbus today. You Trump supporters are all for Donald Trump building this wall, right? You want
00:42:41.580 the immigrants banned so badly, but let me educate you. Illegal immigration started with Columbus
00:42:47.100 and here are the facts. Okay. How's that? Columbus came to their land and he was not
00:42:51.780 welcomed there. When he arrived, the indigenous... This is, this is one frustrating, uh, uh, slogan
00:42:59.000 from the left. They say, you know, America, America has had immigrants from the very beginning
00:43:03.640 because all the, the, the settlers who came here were immigrants. No, they weren't. They were
00:43:07.120 settlers. They were conquerors is what they were. That's different. That's different than
00:43:11.180 immigration. I understand there's some similarity here, but it's not that Columbus applied to the
00:43:16.140 Taino or Carib, uh, you know, uh, uh, border agency, right? He came and he interacted somewhat
00:43:23.900 peaceably with some of them and then conquered others of them. And that, that's what happened.
00:43:26.760 That's what the Spaniards did. Very different sort of thing. And by the way, indigenous people
00:43:30.420 conquer other indigenous people. The, we talk about the Lakota who, who had Mount Rushmore. They had,
00:43:35.100 uh, the Black Hills and they always whine and complain about how the Americans took the land from
00:43:39.620 them, their sacred, wonderful land. Well, the Lakota only had the Black Hills starting in 1776 and
00:43:43.780 they took it from other native American tribes, including the Cheyenne. So do we give it back
00:43:47.700 to the Lakota or do we give it back to the Cheyenne? The, the, the native Americans are people,
00:43:52.500 right? They are human beings. And I think we, we diminish them when we pretend that there are just
00:43:58.160 some like pets or animals or something living in this peaceable harmony. No, they were men conquering
00:44:03.120 other men, just like happens in the West and the East and everywhere else. And in the case of
00:44:07.700 Columbus and the Spaniards, the Western civilization conquered their native tribes. And in many cases,
00:44:14.260 that was a very good thing because those tribes were up to a lot of bad stuff, including widespread
00:44:18.120 human sacrifice and cannibalism and, and all other manner of evil. You know, when Arawak people of
00:44:23.780 Native America, they didn't kick him out. They didn't ban him. They didn't build a wall. They
00:44:28.320 didn't say he didn't belong there. They welcomed him with open arms. They shared their resources and
00:44:34.080 culture with him. That's not quite true. Some of them were amiable, but others were bad guys.
00:44:37.720 To murder them, to steal from them. You want to talk about looting during Black Lives Matter
00:44:42.500 protests? He was one of the first looters. Not only did he steal their land, he stole their culture
00:44:47.920 and he forced his cultural practices on them. He didn't steal their culture. He abolished it.
00:44:52.280 He was never a hero. He was always a villain. Stop believing the lies.
00:44:55.940 He was always a villain. So you say, I guess the claim here is that it's bad. It's bad to go in
00:45:03.200 and cancel other people's cultures, right? But the left that makes this argument wants to cancel the
00:45:10.560 Western culture and take down our statues and take down our heroes and take down the things that we
00:45:14.260 believe, including the statues of Christopher Columbus, but other people as well. So then it
00:45:20.020 doesn't just become this cultural relativistic argument. It becomes this idea that the indigenous
00:45:24.180 culture was really good and there were some nice aspects of it. They invented cigars, for instance,
00:45:28.980 and there were some bad aspects of it, like ritual cannibalism and, you know, widespread human
00:45:33.500 slaughter and sacrifice. So good parts and bad parts. But the argument from the left is the
00:45:38.260 indigenous culture, good, Western civilization, greatest civilization, greatest culture ever in
00:45:42.160 the history of the world, bad. And that argument is absolutely preposterous. It reminds me of a line
00:45:48.260 from Tony Soprano when his son was reading Howard Zinn's left-wing crazy history and his son started
00:45:56.560 speaking ill of Columbus. I will bid you all a happy Columbus Day and I will let Tony Soprano play us
00:46:02.880 out. I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show. His history teacher, Mr. Cushman,
00:46:07.520 is teaching your son that if Columbus was alive today, he would go on trial for crimes against
00:46:11.740 humanity like Milosevic and, you know, Europe. Your teacher said that. It's not just my teacher,
00:46:18.440 it's the truth. It's in my history book. So you finally read a book and it's bulls**t. Tony.
00:46:29.220 Look, you had to work in Columbus's shoes to see what he went through. People thought the world was
00:46:33.120 flat for crying out loud. Then he lands on an island with a bunch of naked savages on it. I mean,
00:46:37.620 that took a lot of guts. You remember when we went to Florida, the heat and those bugs? Well,
00:46:42.520 like it took guts to murder people and put them in chains. He was a victim of his time. Who cares?
00:46:47.440 It's what he did. He discovered America is what he did. He was a brave Italian explorer. And in this
00:46:52.280 house, Christopher Columbus is a hero. End of story. If you enjoyed this episode, don't forget to

00:47:46.900 Columbus Day has been increasingly replaced by Indigenous People's Day, but I still say we
00:47:50.440 should celebrate him. And I'll explain why. Also, Southwest canceled thousands of flights right
00:47:54.100 as its employees went on strike over its vaccine mandates. But the media insists that the two issues
00:47:58.060 are somehow not connected at all. Plus, the family of the Texas school shooter continues to defend him,
00:48:02.600 even though he brought a gun to school and shot people. And we'll talk about one of the most
00:48:05.820 nauseating ESPN segments ever aired on the network. All of that and more today on The Matt Walsh Show.
