My friend, Steven Crowder, oh, he's been a very naughty boy.
00:00:43.700
He's in trouble now and not just a little trouble,
00:00:47.220
not just like YouTube going to censor a couple things he says.
00:00:50.960
He's in like permanently get banned from YouTube and lose his entire career and platform and voice
00:01:01.100
And I hate to say it, it's actually sort of our fault here at The Daily Wire.
00:01:09.400
Thank you for putting me in a fight for my life.
00:01:14.460
So this, just to give a little context here, The Daily Wire, we have prided ourselves on making a business
00:01:20.780
mostly out of silly clickbait headlines and, you know, just like 10 ways that we destroy the libs and stuff like that.
00:01:27.940
But recently we have, because the site has been very successful and we're very grateful to all of the members,
00:01:34.220
we have invested in actual investigative journalism, which the right rarely does.
00:01:38.080
We usually use the investigative journalism from The New York Times or The Washington Post.
00:01:41.980
And then we try to take out all the bias and take out all the craziness.
00:01:45.400
But we actually broke a story ourselves, which is that in Loudoun County,
00:01:48.860
a girl was raped allegedly in a bathroom by a guy who sometimes wears a skirt.
00:01:56.100
And the story here is obviously that these transgender bathroom policies are probably not the best idea.
00:02:01.680
And further, the story is that the school covered it up and they denied it.
00:02:05.980
But now even The Washington Post has to acknowledge it.
00:02:08.440
You talked about this news story that actually happened in reality.
00:02:15.160
And now you don't get to be on YouTube because of it.
00:02:18.780
And by the way, I really do appreciate the work that you guys did.
00:02:21.360
I did reach out to your senior, I guess, editors there.
00:02:23.840
And I said, look, I need to have some kind of confirmation.
00:02:26.620
I know you can't reveal all of this publicly because they are minors.
00:02:29.900
But that the rape kit was conducted and that the police confirmed it.
00:02:33.960
And so what I saw certainly seemed as though you guys had done your due diligence.
00:02:37.260
So I don't know when you say allegedly when there's a rape kit.
00:02:39.740
We did a full hour, just to be clear, for people who are wondering.
00:02:42.220
We have a heart strike on the channel right now.
00:02:45.440
For people who are wondering where we are, of course, Mug Club.
00:02:48.500
We have merch at Fight Like Hell, CrowderShop.com.
00:02:55.780
But what happened is we did an hour show on the Loudoun County story.
00:02:58.560
Because it does get a little complicated when you understand the timeline and you're going,
00:03:04.340
Wait a second, the father was in trouble for complaining about the rape?
00:03:12.020
And sometimes people say, hey, don't get bothered with the culture wars.
00:03:15.000
This is actually the most important subject of our time.
00:03:34.300
So the strike came from, I believe, a show last Thursday.
00:03:36.780
But it came immediately after the Loudoun County show, which was poised to hit a million
00:03:43.600
And what they struck us for was a story we covered last week where there were transgender
00:03:50.820
individuals have been declaring in record numbers that they are females going into female
00:03:55.960
And now in California, they have pregnancy protocols and a woman got impregnated in a
00:04:03.140
And so the joke was on YouTube where we said, so on transgender inmates, female brave and beautiful
00:04:08.880
inmates, a woman got pregnant, immaculate conception.
00:04:13.680
And we did a sketch where the angel came to Mary and said, be not afraid for she'll be assigned
00:04:20.040
And he said, it was actually Alex Jones who was the angel.
00:04:23.140
He said, no, you'll be sexually assaulted by your transgender cellmate repeatedly.
00:04:28.820
Now there's a carve out on YouTube for comedy, to be clear.
00:04:33.960
The joke was we never insinuated that they were anything other than a beautiful and brave
00:04:39.760
Um, the language that came from the lawyer though, it was immediately after the Loudon
00:04:43.960
story, but they said, we're going to hit you retroactively for this.
00:04:47.860
The language said you are not allowed to express, you know, violence against individuals and
00:04:52.420
said, or indicate or indicate that transgender individuals may pose a rape threat to women.
00:05:04.020
It's not, they're physically incapable of ever.
00:05:06.140
When, when Husky Hank walks into the women's bathroom, he is not physically capable of
00:05:12.860
He's not, you can't talk about specific instances.
00:05:14.840
And some people are saying, well, you should be able to speak about specific instances,
00:05:17.780
but you shouldn't be able to voice the broad concern.
00:05:21.200
Let me explain to you why there were over a hundred parents, as you guys reported in
00:05:30.580
And they wanted to protest this policy saying, we believe that this poses a sexual assault
00:05:45.280
If you say that on YouTube, if you say that on Facebook, you're banned, you're gone.
00:05:49.360
And here's the issue of speaking with Ben Shapiro about this.
00:05:52.460
You could say male, of course, males pose a threat to, uh, to, to, to female, uh, inmates
00:06:00.760
The problem is the language game where now it's, you can't even say biological male is
00:06:07.520
You can't say that they could pose a threat to women because they're women.
00:06:11.540
This literally makes it so nobody can oppose any policies.
00:06:16.780
It is terrifying the amount of small channels that have covered your story or that have
00:06:26.960
You have Daily Wire, but what about the people who never get a chance to grow?
00:06:32.720
And this is their new policy from, by the way, the one solace I find is very, very expensive
00:06:37.060
legal counsel who had to watch that entire episode and watch the sketch and do a writeup.
00:06:46.780
This, to me, seems like an acceleration of something that happened to me.
00:06:52.480
I played a clip from the CDC director, Rochelle Walensky.
00:06:56.260
And the CDC director in this clip says that the coronavirus can be spread by people who
00:07:03.280
have the vaccine, which is something that we all know.
00:07:06.160
That's the argument for why the vaccinated people should wear the masks, is that they
00:07:14.160
I just, I had the scientific authority, one of the top three in the world, according to
00:07:23.280
I was told that this was a violation of the YouTube policy because YouTube says you are
00:07:29.120
not allowed to say that the vaccine does not prevent transmission of the virus, even
00:07:37.020
This, an even greater acceleration of that, you are reporting on a very important news story
00:07:42.660
that the left was suppressing, that the school was suppressing, that threatens young women
00:07:50.180
And because of that, you could, yes, hopefully you'll be back next week, but you could permanently
00:08:01.820
They picked something that was a comedy sketch that was milder from the previous week.
00:08:08.540
I mean, YouTube has been gunning for us for years because, you know, okay, we are the most
00:08:14.580
We're the most, look, we're the most watched conservative show in the demo of all time.
00:08:24.200
The reason I talk about this right now is because this is an attack on people who watch the
00:08:28.360
This is an attack from YouTube saying, no, no, no, no, no.
00:08:35.700
They really don't want what we do to get out there.
00:08:38.920
And the issue here is they have framed in language so much that it doesn't allow one
00:08:45.260
A genuine thought exercise for people out there.
00:08:49.300
You are a parent and you want to express concern over a new transgender bathroom policy because
00:08:56.620
How do you express your concern over that policy online?
00:09:01.180
With the rules they just set out, you cannot imply there is a rape threat.
00:09:06.420
And so when people say, oh, it's a culture war thing, way more important than taxes.
00:09:12.700
I mean, if you're not going to fight this fight, then who cares?
00:09:16.000
Who cares if you're going to like slightly reform the administrative state?
00:09:19.800
But, but it's, it's not even as though we're just talking about online, you know?
00:09:25.220
Well, look, look, you can't voice your opinion on this public matter online, but you can do
00:09:30.880
I'm going to go get a bell and start swinging it in the village square.
00:09:33.700
No, the, the public square in our society today is online.
00:09:37.540
And specifically it's on Google and YouTube, which is owned by Google and it's on Facebook
00:09:42.420
and to a lesser degree, it's on Twitter and that's it.
00:09:50.340
Jack Dorsey is always, he's always like, Hey guys, what are you doing?
00:09:53.300
Do you want to go get some, uh, some, uh, shrimp fajitas?
00:09:56.600
And they're like, Jack, come on, go, go back to, go back to Castaway.
00:10:02.040
If people look at the stock, it's not even close.
00:10:04.740
And so if you, if you control speech in self-government, in a Republic, you control the whole thing.
00:10:15.340
I can, I can yell about this until I am blue in the face, but we, we need to make these content
00:10:20.120
decisions and we have a little more breadth here because our platforms are bigger.
00:10:23.660
As you say, the smaller channels that are, they're just being snuffed out in the crib.
00:10:29.500
If, if YouTube comes out and says, you're not allowed to say X, Y, and Z, do you, do
00:10:39.660
Do you take a brave, courageous stand and then get your channel shut down?
00:10:45.700
I've never implied that all transgenders are rapists.
00:10:47.820
I've never implied that all transgenders are a rape threat because I don't believe it.
00:10:53.960
A lot of times people are confused by how loving and kind I am to them and gracious as a host.
00:10:58.460
And they go, oh, so you must not believe what you talk about with transgenders.
00:11:02.220
I also love you as a person, as we're supposed to show love through Christ.
00:11:12.580
We are continuing to stream on, I was about to say YouTube, on Rumble and on Mug Club,
00:11:19.440
You know, a lot of the times people say, go and create your own platform.
00:11:21.840
Well, it's not possible when they lock you out.
00:11:24.180
Here's an experiment I want everyone to do, okay?
00:11:26.920
Search for anything specific right now on YouTube.
00:11:30.740
It used to be, the reason for the protection, let's say for YouTube, it was a search engine,
00:11:38.280
I have this like townhome that we're using for employees who come in and Airbnb.
00:11:45.300
So I was like, wait, the person can't use this whole pour over.
00:11:47.340
Well, I'm not going to get a Keurig because I don't want to be one of those guys.
00:11:58.000
But you're, so you're like Olive Garden Italian, I guess.
00:12:01.020
You should have a machine with dials and copper like Willy Wonka.
00:12:04.540
But if you're doing Nespresso, all right, it's a never ending bread bowl.
00:12:08.380
That was Jesus's last miracle at the last supper was the never ending salad bowl.
00:12:17.140
So anyway, she gives me this Nespresso machine.
00:12:20.820
I go and search on YouTube Nespresso Pixie machine.
00:12:24.340
And I knew there was a danger because I was putting Pixie in the name, right?
00:12:26.700
But I searched Nespresso Pixie machine and two results come up and then a bunch of results
00:12:33.020
of late night comedy, political stuff, other coffee, but nothing to do with Nespresso.
00:12:38.560
Today on YouTube, it cannot be used as a search engine.
00:12:45.200
It is entirely now a curation and they will hide behind the algorithms, but their algorithms
00:12:50.700
are determined by policies that say you can never even indicate that transgenders may pose
00:13:00.580
But what if someone types in Loudoun County rape, they might get two results of the truth.
00:13:06.240
So when people say, go and build your own YouTube, go and build your own Twitter or Facebook,
00:13:10.060
it's not possible because these entities are one and the same with government right now.
00:13:18.160
And we do, you have daily wire and you're also on YouTube because
00:13:21.580
And we have mug club and listen, we will fight like hell on this.
00:13:26.660
We will fight it in the public square and people who think that they aren't coming for
00:13:30.520
Look, this is you, anyone who is watching right now.
00:13:35.580
If you think that you have the right to say, I'm concerned for my daughter going into a changing
00:13:41.860
room with a biological male, which by the way, you're also not allowed to say now they're
00:13:46.500
They want a new term instead of biological male.
00:13:48.040
If you are at home and you're saying, I want to voice my concern, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter
00:13:57.760
What I don't understand here is how they can say with a straight face that transgender individuals
00:14:04.500
or biological men, as opposed to what, psychological men or spiritual men, or I don't know, whatever
00:14:09.040
jargon they want to use, how they can say that they don't pose any threat to women when
00:14:15.160
they're in places where women are changing or, you know, otherwise sort of vulnerable.
00:14:21.340
You're telling me, you're telling me Google that whether it's a man or you want to call
00:14:26.660
him not a man or you want to call him whatever jargon you have, it's impossible for him to
00:14:31.980
pose any kind of, what are you talking, I mean, that's just so indefensible.
00:14:37.740
Well, your first mistake, your premise is flawed.
00:14:40.160
You said, how do they say it with a straight face?
00:14:43.800
Those are the people who are saying this in Silicon Valley and angry gay faces.
00:14:47.720
Vastly overrepresented here where, look, they're going to have a transgender walkout at Netflix
00:14:51.940
on October 20th, if we're talking about the demographics of the population, right?
00:14:57.660
Because now they want, if black people make up 12% of the American population, they should
00:15:03.080
They make up exponentially more compared to the population in Silicon Valley.
00:15:10.420
First off, Eddie Murphy is going to be circling that walkout in a limo.
00:15:14.640
I mean, that is just absolutely a perfect scenario for him.
00:15:17.440
Probably Hugh Grant, a little bit going back to the nineties here, but yeah, I don't, they
00:15:22.580
They're not trying to actually avoid people's feelings being hurt.
00:15:26.280
There is absolutely a deliberate attempt to control language.
00:15:31.020
And too many conservatives have conceded ground and say, oh, it's about the deficit.
00:15:36.820
But if the idea of man and woman, I believe it says, I believe that's described in the Bible
00:15:49.760
People know I've always been sort of what they say, a happy warrior, silver lining.
00:15:53.200
If we cease to have man and woman, there will be no country left.
00:15:59.700
And look, absolutely there should be no hate speech.
00:16:04.700
You shouldn't walk up to a transgender individual and chastise them or treat them any more poorly
00:16:12.540
I believe that a lot of these people, especially when you look at a 42% attempted suicide rate and
00:16:19.960
We just talked about the Ministry of Justice in the UK.
00:16:24.000
59% of male to female transgender inmates have committed sexual assault.
00:16:37.420
If you look at this, I do think that there's a group of people in need of love and help.
00:16:41.920
But how do you love and help someone if there's a 60% sexual assault rate, Ministry of Justice
00:16:46.260
UK, we have our references available on the website, in prison.
00:16:49.820
How do you help them if you don't say, look, look, there's something here that maybe isn't
00:16:58.220
Well, just, you know, we talk about these sort of statistics and a lot of these I actually
00:17:03.260
So it's, you know, this is Ministry of Justice in the UK.
00:17:06.660
It's a specific prison study and it shocked me.
00:17:13.180
There's also this ontological issue, which is men are not women.
00:17:18.180
Men who think that they're women are delusional and they should be corrected and they should,
00:17:22.260
it's not compassionate to allow them to live in lies and it's not compassionate to force
00:17:30.800
And this is common sense and everyone agreed with it until about five minutes ago.
00:17:36.460
And, and YouTube is enforcing it to varying degrees on different people.
00:17:41.440
So then the question to me is, let's say that they just, they just finally had enough
00:17:47.420
of you, Mr. Crowder, and you've pissed them off one too many times.
00:17:52.040
What, what happens is, is that the end of Louder with Crowder?
00:17:57.060
Or is, I mean, is there, does it mean you're not going to have a show anymore?
00:18:02.900
We're still, no, we're still streaming to give you an idea.
00:18:06.960
And of course there are larger numbers on YouTube where there used to be way larger numbers
00:18:10.340
because people would find us through the algorithms.
00:18:13.140
But yesterday we were streaming the show off of YouTube and we still had over 60, 64,000
00:18:17.960
live viewers at any given second, which, you know, turns to a rolling average, which will,
00:18:21.760
which will be in the high six figures or in the million range without YouTube.
00:18:25.980
So no, although it's really important to me to reach the unreached, you know, our average
00:18:30.640
viewer is a 28 year old male or woman, and that doesn't happen.
00:18:34.140
YouTube right now is saying over a million, over a million, 20 something year olds are tuning
00:18:45.020
It's okay when they're off on Fox news and they're selling a gold and, and, and Tom Selleck's
00:18:49.580
telling you, this isn't my first rodeo to try and steal your home, right?
00:18:53.520
They're not okay with these messages getting out right now.
00:18:56.200
People like you, people like Ben, people like myself reaching a new audience.
00:18:59.940
And by the way, doing it in a way that is not only accurate, but fun.
00:19:05.640
I'm probably going to start touring again with Dave Landau once I'm no longer exhausted with
00:19:09.060
lawsuits, but, um, we are so meticulous because we know we're in the hot seat with
00:19:15.120
I don't know that there's any other program out there who provides every single reference
00:19:19.840
from on air in a, in a very, uh, uh, formatted way on a website so that everyone can peruse
00:19:26.980
And 90% of them are completely neutral sources like PubMed, or they're coming from polls like
00:19:32.440
And if we use a bias source, we use a liberal source.
00:19:36.440
As a matter of fact, we've seen a huge website increase just from people going and clicking
00:19:41.100
through the references, which is what I want them to do.
00:19:47.540
I want our show to be an hour and I want them to spend two, three, four hours researching
00:19:57.140
Jimmy Kimmel unironically used media matters and slate as a source.
00:20:06.000
I mean, I, you know, come on, that's that do I, I don't need to specify.
00:20:11.180
Redundant, not make me Jimmy Kimmel, not making a joke redundant.
00:20:14.200
It's like a jumbo shrimp, but he didn't make a joke.
00:20:19.340
Look, people out there, this is a bit, if you watch Michael Knowles, you watch Ben Shapiro,
00:20:22.860
you watch, they are coming for you, even if your children are being raped.
00:20:28.640
And I don't mean me too, someone, or even Chris Cuomo grabbing someone's ass in front
00:20:34.400
of her husband, which by the way, I don't know why that husband didn't beat the tar out
00:20:38.380
I am talking about forcible rape verified by a kit and then done again.
00:20:45.040
And if you are a parent, you are the one who will be vilified for expressing concern.
00:20:55.660
It's like that, that meme from the Trump 2020 campaign is the best meme of the whole campaign
00:21:07.120
And it's not just for the smaller creators on YouTube.
00:21:09.120
It's for any parent who wants to speak out against these preposterous policies.
00:21:13.920
It's for any ordinary American who doesn't like the way the ruling class is governing.
00:21:18.740
And it's to this point you made, Stephen, it's about the discovery.
00:21:23.860
If YouTube brings the hammer down, you'll be fine.
00:21:26.680
And you're going to keep 100% of your audience.
00:21:29.580
And you might even grow the audience a little bit because it would be a news story.
00:21:32.100
But you are not going to have access to the growth of the audience that everyone else
00:21:37.120
is going to have access to with new people discovering this stuff.
00:21:42.260
It will be ostracized from society, which is, I think, the long game here for the left,
00:21:47.520
which is why I'm glad you're making a little bit of a ruckus on this.
00:21:54.380
You know, it's the Nazis saying, and I'm not saying that YouTube are Nazis,
00:22:00.700
They would go out and pump it through all of these small channels out there,
00:22:03.760
all of these smaller creators who are influenced.
00:22:05.900
Look, there's a term in comedy, like, oh, that guy's a Dave Attell baby.
00:22:09.380
That guy's a Mitch Hedberg baby, meaning a comedian who came up in that generation,
00:22:15.400
There's certainly a Crowder baby because I've been here since 2009 when there were no conservatives.
00:22:20.960
And if the leaders get taken, if the leaders get picked off or just influences,
00:22:25.260
I don't consider myself a leader, that demoralizes them.
00:22:28.520
What chance does the kid with 10,000 subscribers have?
00:22:35.200
And they're coming not just for content creators.
00:22:43.580
you're going to have to shut up and take it on the chin.
00:22:49.480
It's blunt, and it's offensive, and it's outrageous, and it's obviously true.
00:22:56.720
We're going to stop doing journalism now at The Daily Wire so we don't keep getting you in trouble.
00:23:00.360
We're going to stop reporting on any actual facts and relevant news stories, at least for a while.
00:23:07.460
We have to at least stop it for a week so they don't ax you completely.
00:23:10.960
But everyone, if you have not done it already, this should be the wake-up call.
00:23:16.480
Go head on over to any channel, any alternative channel that is going to allow you to continue to see Mr. Crowder's content
00:23:23.980
because we can't rely on the big entities here.
00:23:28.460
They are turning their attention on the voices that they think are the most dangerous to the liberal narrative.
00:23:33.680
And at the moment, that happens to be Mr. Steven Crowder.
