00:07:03.360But I mean, it again, but there are also some knocks on the Muslims in the movie, too.0.97
00:07:10.940Like, yes, it does portray some of their best attributes, but it also shows the bad stuff, I think.0.99
00:07:16.300Right. Wow. Wow. Wow. But but yes, I mean, the basic idea, again, is that, again, Slate was very angry at us for showing ISIS doing ISIS things.
00:07:26.560They're very upset at it, at us for that. And I believe that it was Slate that actually went
00:07:31.360and quoted a top member of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, which is a group that was
00:07:35.700founded by legitimate Muslim Brotherhood offshoots to talk about why it's so Islamophobic.
00:07:41.100And the whole conversation about Islam versus Islamophobic, Islamist, Islamism,0.50
00:07:45.580which modifier we're supposed to use. Can we just put it out there that Islam as a global force,
00:07:50.640as Samuel Huntington once said, has bloody borders and bloody innards, and that were there1.00
00:07:54.340to be mass Muslim migration to the West, it would be a bad thing. And we know this because it already1.00
00:07:58.260happened and it hasn't been awesome. Yeah. You know, one of my favorite writers,
00:08:03.520the Catholic conservative types, every time they quote anybody, it's either Chesterton or Hilaire
00:08:09.860Belloc. You know, those are the great 20th century polemicist writers. And Belloc totally called this.
00:08:14.440He had this book on the Crusades where he says, we lost the Crusades. The Muslims won because we
00:08:20.160lost at Damascus. And so as a result, Islam is solid and it's the West that's weaker. And he's1.00
00:08:26.680writing this in the 1930s when it looked like Islam was kind of dead as a major world force.0.98
00:08:31.980And he said, you guys are crazy. I mean, nobody is more to the right of Hilaire Belloc basically
00:08:36.500that's ever lived. And he said, you guys are crazy. Islam is going to reassert itself and it's going0.99
00:08:40.980to happen sooner than later. And it did. It started to happen again in the 1970s, obviously 2001,1.00
00:08:45.740and it's, it's continued since then. So I, you know, I'm, I'm delighted that we're, uh, really
00:08:52.460doubling and tripling down on, uh, uh, the hardcore, you know, message here. Uh, the other thing I
00:08:59.460really like, look, I love a lot of the DW movies, but we now have a male lead. I don't know. We've
00:09:06.700had a lot of chicks in the movies. We have a male lead. This is to your point, Ben, it is,1.00
00:09:10.560it's like Red Dawn with a bunch of Muslims added to, turned up to 11, get, get a real kick out of1.00
00:09:16.440it. So if you haven't subscribed, if I haven't showed this enough for you yet, dailywire.com
00:09:19.980slash subscribe, you get the message. Goes great with a Mayflower cigar. It goes well though,
00:09:24.100even, even without a Mayflower cigar. Is it this line that we, I mean, I made the joke about careers
00:09:28.620for Palestine, but a lot of people are scratching their heads. How is it the case that the, you know,
00:09:34.260purple haired tranny would, would team up with the Islamists or whatever? It does kind of make1.00
00:09:39.140some sense to me though. I don't know, Drew, is it just, they're all just dumb and they don't1.00
00:09:42.580realize that the Muslims don't like them or something? No. You know, the funny thing about1.00
00:09:47.420that variety review, just like it's excoriated us. They start out the first sentences. This is
00:09:53.060more of a, uh, an epic troll than a creative endeavor. Now in a world where people like
00:09:59.120variety own, have a stranglehold on the culture, an epic troll is the best creative endeavor you
00:10:06.380can do. I mean, we've been doing epic trolls at this place for, since the Daily Wire began and
00:10:11.240they've had tremendous effects. The movie is hilarious throughout. I don't understand why
00:10:16.480it's wrong to show what is, you know, radical Muslims would do to the people who are queers0.95
00:10:22.520for Palestine and women for Palestine. I don't see why that is anything but a very, a perfectly1.00
00:10:28.140good piece of satire. I have to reveal, I don't want to give anything away from the movie. I, I,
00:11:20.580And as Ben says, Blazing Saddles, you know, and Red Dawn, why not?
00:11:25.520You know, why would you not do that?0.98
00:11:26.580So I don't understand why the people who gave an Oscar to a movie in which conservatives are portrayed as sexual perverts and white supremacists can't take a joke.0.98
00:11:38.400I'm shocked that they can't take a joke.0.99
00:11:39.820Right. No, you know, our pal Dallas Saunier, who produced the film and who has made a lot of Daily Wire content and a lot of many films before he was at the Daily Wire.
00:11:49.800Dallas Saunier is a maestro of violence.
00:11:53.280He is maybe the leading connoisseur of on-screen violence working today.
00:12:00.960I mean, there are some really phenomenal acting sequences in it.
00:12:04.380Or, sorry, action sequences in it.0.98
00:12:05.960But I do want to get to the point because a lot of people seem to think that the kind of purple-haired queers for Palestine, they're just dummies.0.94
00:12:15.300If they ever opened up the Koran, if they ever read a history book, they would know that Islam is really violent.0.93
00:12:20.260And I want to give them more credit than that.1.00
00:12:22.340I think they kind of know that. I think they just, the radical left is very disordered and they're in the thrall to bad ideologies and possibly Satan. I'm not even really being hyperbolic.
00:12:35.940And so I think they just realize that they have a common enemy, that they and the radical Muslims, though they disagree in a lot of particulars, they have a common enemy, which is Christian civilization and America and, I don't know, white people and men and whatever.0.52
00:12:48.840And so they're willing to team up with them, and anything that we oppose, they want to support. Is that too reductive a reading?
00:12:59.600I don't think it is at all. I mean, it really is that simple, and I think that the movie does a pretty good job of showing this.
00:13:05.920Now, in the movie, because a lot of it's to comedic effect, so a lot of the leftists in the film are portrayed as the more oblivious types, like they don't really understand what they're getting themselves into.
00:13:16.640And there is an element of truth to that. I think there's some, I think that maybe at the kind of low level among the kind of the grunts on the left, maybe they don't quite understand it. But at a higher level, they certainly do. It's a strategic alliance. I think you're right, Michael.0.62
00:13:31.460It's actually it's actually pretty simple in that they the left that is hates Western civilization.0.98
00:13:38.960They hate, you know, they hate white people in particular.0.99
00:13:42.660They hate Christians. And they see and they see Islam and they see we have a we have a shared enemy.0.99
00:13:48.700They see Islam as a destructive force, something that seeks to destroy Western civilization.0.82
00:13:54.040And it's really it's really that simple.0.98
00:13:55.740I mean, we know on the left, we talk about it all the time, that it's not as though they necessarily have the best plan for rebuilding on the other side.
00:14:08.300They're not quite as worried about that.
00:14:46.400And there is that commonality of just being a destructive force.1.00
00:14:49.920I say this, and so, like, I guess I'm Islamophobic in the sense that I think Islam is just contrary to our civilization, and they've been trying to conquer us for roughly 1,400 years, and it's ultimately just an incompatible world system, and one of us is going to prevail, and one of us is going to lose, at least in the fight over the West.1.00
00:15:09.960So I think that, but I agree with Dante, who hasn't yet come up on this show for some reason, who has a kind of grudging respect, you know, for like Saladin, the great Muslim in the Crusades, who, you know, he puts him with the virtuous pagans.1.00
00:15:25.360And so you see this in a lot of crusade literature, like the Song of Roland and those kinds of poems.0.98
00:15:31.680There is this kind of grudging respect for Islam while recognizing that they are intent on our destruction.
00:15:37.260There's a lot of liberal propaganda about the Muslim conquest of Spain, of Iberia, in which they say, well, it was this thriving multicultural civilization and, you know, it was just very diverse.
00:15:48.960They came over, they enslaved, they conquered, they killed tens of millions of Christians and enslaved them.0.99
00:15:53.500And really, they just, the great triumphs of that civilization was just the Muslims kind of using the Spanish and Western goods that had already existed.1.00
00:16:05.240So I think there is a commonality, too, in that Islam has brought a lot of destruction.1.00
00:16:12.620It hasn't syncretized with the West.0.95
00:16:15.200It hasn't grown anything out of the West.
00:16:17.240And the same can be said, to your point, Matt, of the left.
00:16:19.780You know, the left is very, very good at destroying things.
00:16:23.380The left is not so good or really in any way concerned with building things.
00:16:28.320But I do fear people are going to take from our commentary that the movie is like a little too nuanced, a little too subtle, a little too kind of hard to get.0.97
00:16:38.880So just in case you want to more accurately understand what the movie is about, here is a Muslim kicking a homosexual off a roof.0.96
00:16:51.900You both did your part in our conquest and for this I am saying.0.99
00:16:58.320your government kills people all over the world they celebrate it you only cared when they look
00:17:19.680like you America destroyed our original glorious caliphate and they tortured and0.77
00:17:28.040imprisoned our Caliph. But they could not kill our spirit. Our purpose transcends the
00:17:36.540things of this world. We just didn't expect so much death. We have killed the right amount
00:17:48.120to instill fear. Many we let run so they could tell others of our strength and the remaining
00:17:53.500I expected more resistance, but I should not be surprised.
00:17:58.500So many in your country cannot even be bothered to produce children,
00:18:01.500but this is a day that you will tell yours about.
00:18:18.500one. And Bruce, I'm gay. I want to address this. I want to address this. Wait a minute. As someone
00:18:31.520who has kicked many homosexuals, although we were in chorus lines at the time, I just want to say0.98
00:18:37.800that along with what Walsh is saying about common enemies and things like this, there's this wild,0.72
00:18:44.120wild atmosphere of imaginary life on the left that I can't, I've never quite been able to get
00:18:51.340over. In one of the reviews, I think it may have also been the Variety review, they shake their
00:18:56.340finger at us because we don't have the empathy to sympathize with land acknowledgments, you know,
00:19:01.620with saying, no, this land belonged to the Chippewa or whatever. And I've always felt like
00:19:05.260I will sympathize with those acknowledgments the minute at the end of it, they give the land back
00:19:10.360to the to the Comanches you know whatever they when they say this campus was once owned by you0.89
00:19:15.880know the the Chippewas and from now on we're giving classes out on the sidewalk because we're1.00
00:19:20.800letting them come back and hunt buffalo through the campus you know then I'll agree with it but0.99
00:19:25.020it's all fantasy and we saw it was all fantasy in Martha's Vineyard when the the illegals came in
00:19:31.540and it was like oh you know we didn't quite mean that much we didn't quite quite want you here
00:19:36.440You know, it's all, it's all this imaginary life that, that they live and they can't stand that you make fun of it because it exposes it for what it is, which is vapor.0.91
00:19:46.480Can I just say, I do, I just, on that scene, I feel like the gay guy didn't have to tell him.0.96
00:19:56.160He should have just kept that to himself.0.88
00:19:58.120When I was watching that scene, I got, you know, I find myself rooting for the left a little bit.
00:24:11.000Or, you know, all of a sudden the list is pretty long to campaign with a guy who says America deserved 9-11, who says he wipes himself with the American flag, who called for the murder of two Republican senators, and who fantasized about personally murdering Charlie Kirk before one of his fellow travelers actually did it.
00:24:26.760But the violence is a major, major problem here.
00:40:10.760It turns out that, as Michael said right at the top of the show, for some 1,400 years, Islam has been a religion of conquest.0.64
00:40:16.560It is not as though people don't have independent motivations without us doing things.0.92
00:40:20.840And when you are so kind of self-centered and navel-gazing that you think that every bad thing a radical Muslim does around the world or Muslim regimes do around the world, that must be the result of what we do.
00:40:30.680that is so self-centered, arrogant, and again, reflective of this bizarrely self-involved0.91
00:40:39.000worldview that you end up destroying everything around you, not because you're empathetic for
00:40:43.200them, but because you're so concerned with yourself. And I think that there's a lot of
00:40:46.200that going on. Yeah, there's this error. And you say they truly, you say they truly hate America,
00:40:50.460but do they really hate America? This is, this is my point. You know, I believe you. I think
00:40:54.660you're right. They truly hate America, but if they really hated America, there's a plane leaving
00:40:58.460every 10 minutes, you know, they could just leave, but they don't. And they, and even the ones,
00:41:02.220even those dumb celebrities who run away because, oh my God, Trump is coming. Godzilla,1.00
00:41:07.400Trump is coming. They come back after like a couple of months. As I well know, as a former
00:41:12.000expatriate, there's no place better to be than this. And I, and after a while they find that
00:41:16.440out. So this hate, even the hatred is narcissistic fantasy. Even the hatred is just like, if I hate
00:41:22.040America, I'm doing something good because I'm not being, I don't know, jingoistic or whatever it is.
00:41:27.080uh, they feel that that's why I really, I really hate the term. That's why I hate the term suicidal
00:41:33.540empathy. I mean, it's because as you guys have covered, and I agree, it's, it's actually not
00:41:37.560empathy at all. I mean, we do them a huge favor when we say that they're suicidally, you know,0.85
00:41:42.460empathetic because if somebody was actually had like a suicidal level of empathy, well,
00:41:48.640that would be someone who's crazy and should not be in power and is irrational, but it's actually0.60
00:41:54.040a really good person. I mean, that's someone who, like, you care so much about other people that
00:41:58.360you're driven to do things that are self-destructive. That makes you irrational, but like
00:42:04.040very morally decent, if confused. And that's just not the case here at all. I think that what we
00:42:10.240call suicidal empathy is actually the exact opposite. It's a total lack of empathy. I mean,
00:42:14.880it's the same thing with, you know, you find on the left that they sympathize with the criminals.0.98
00:42:20.080And so that's why we have to keep releasing the, you know, the murderous black guys back out into the public because they're so empathetic, supposedly, for these criminals.0.96
00:42:31.180That's not empathy. That's a total lack of empathy and sympathy for the victims of that guy.0.99
00:46:25.000because you know that book, Dominion by Tom Holland?
00:46:28.020wonderful kind of an epoch-making book almost where he traces the just universal effect that
00:46:33.780Christianity has had on the West and how it's seeped into our pores. And one of the reasons0.78
00:46:37.820really that I became convinced of Christianity was noticing that it was so true that it vanished0.88
00:46:45.400once you accepted it. Like once you accept the ethos of Christianity, it disappears because it's
00:46:50.300so obviously the case. So you're just living in reality. You don't have to label it Christian.
00:46:54.200And I think that that's one of the problems the West has in this moment when Christianity has fallen away and when belief has fallen away is that we forget that this is who we are and this is why we believe what we believe.0.55
00:47:05.480And I am somebody who loves to anger the anti-Semites by pointing out that it is Judeo-Christianity.
00:47:10.580It's the same ethos of, you know, caring about other human beings as you care for yourself.
00:47:16.060And I think that that's the Bush problem. You know, there's that wonderful line that I think was William F. Buckley had about the Bushes was that they are conservative. They are he is a conservative, but he's not conservative with a big C and the big C makes all the difference.
00:47:30.960And I think that's the thing about George W. Bush was that he didn't really understand that his own religion, which he was sincere about, was why he thought the things he thought, why he stood against the people he stood against and why he fought the wars he fought.
00:47:45.260And so he kind of muddied the waters, as Ben says, he's muddied them very, very quickly so that the Babylon Bee had that great headline.
00:47:53.160I think it was the Babylon Bee, if not the Onion, where they said we predict victory against whoever it is we're fighting.
00:48:00.500I think that that was a real problem with the wars on terror is not focusing on what exactly we were doing.0.87
00:48:06.320Yeah, so we need to focus on this movie by playing a video of the Muslim leader saying a bunch of crazy stuff.0.81
00:49:42.660it's a documentary main criticism yes yes i mean well that's kind of the point right i mean
00:49:51.360you know that's kind of that's kind of the point michael is that actually when you watch the film
00:49:55.540One of the things that's weird about it, and I think that the reason why, you know, I call this sort of a mashup between Red Dawn and Blazing Saddles,
00:50:03.600is there are these very funny moments that obviously are like half-joking.
00:50:06.940But then the villain actually is just saying things that people actually say, right?
00:50:11.400I mean, like, that is stuff that ISIS says.
00:50:14.080And so when it gets called deranged by Slate, yeah, I mean, that belief system is totally deranged.
00:50:19.460It also happens to be the governing belief system for literally hundreds of millions of people in a wide variety of countries around the world.
00:50:24.880And what he's saying about Islamic caliphate and Sharia law being a way to govern your life and the only way that you can truly be fulfilled as a human being is to be Muslim and to be Muslim in a Sharia law society.0.78
00:50:35.380That is the case made by, like, Pakistan, okay?0.87
00:50:37.720That's a case that is made by Indonesia, right?
00:50:39.680These are cases that are made all over planet Earth.
00:50:42.440And to pretend that away is, I think, a sin.
00:50:45.540Because when you pretend away the truth, you end up making yourself vulnerable.
00:50:48.520I mean, Drew, you threw out the term war on terror because that was the term, obviously, that Bush used.
00:50:52.820You can't fight a war against a tactic.
00:50:54.440And everyone was pointing this out with half a brain.
00:50:56.360The minute that George W. Bush started talking about this back in 2001, 2002, war on terror
00:52:47.360And so it's no surprise that Christianity, the religion that animates and defines our civilization, spreads in this very spiritual way where the violence is really just committed against us and yet somehow the religion spreads because of the Holy Spirit.0.89
00:53:02.240Whereas for Islam, being carnal, it has to spread through physical means, not through the spiritual warfare of holding my rosary and praying, but the physical warfare of actual bullets.0.85
00:53:15.080You know, those two things don't jive.1.00
00:53:18.080And so I think that's why you're having a lot of problems of assimilation here.
00:53:21.320Did you see some of these reports that, after we've been reading for years and years about no-go zones in Paris and throughout continental Europe and parts of the UK,
00:53:30.700now we're getting something kind of like that in the United States?
00:53:34.700I think a cop said he's not going into some of these neighborhoods.
00:54:38.440problem is they're, they're doing it for Muslims. Like if it were around churches, I think that's1.00
00:54:43.260way better. But also, but there's also clearly this two-tiered system. The, the guy, the Christian
00:54:48.540guy, the Jewish guy, the atheist guy who's driving, he gets the ticket, but the Muslim guy has a0.85
00:54:53.500separate set of laws. I mean, I'm not saying we're gonna have Sharia law at the federal level tomorrow,0.84
00:54:57.900but that is clearly incrementally moving in that direction, isn't it? And it shows you, it shows0.98
00:55:04.100you the total fiction of the separation of church and state myth, which we know was always
00:55:11.860kind of mythology because that's not actually in the First Amendment, the separation of church and
00:55:15.700state. But you had judges in the middle of the 20th century that kind of latched on to this
00:55:21.280phrase that, as we know, came from a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote. It wasn't actually a legal
00:55:25.360document. And they totally misinterpreted it. And the way that they interpreted it for the last,
00:55:32.380what, 60 or 70 years, is that separation of church and state, it means that religion and
00:55:38.740government cannot commingle at all. It means that you can't pray in school. It means that you can't
00:55:43.060have the Ten Commandments up in a classroom. You can't have the nativity scene up on public
00:55:47.680property, even though none of that stuff constitutes the legislature establishing a
00:55:54.400state religion, which is the only thing that, which is all that the separation of church and
00:55:58.920state so-called was even supposed to do. But that's what they told us. And, you know, total
00:56:03.720separation. And now you have this, and now you have in New York, if you're a Muslim, you can0.80
00:56:08.340double park, you get a different set of laws. And you would think that all of the, you know,0.99
00:56:13.040all the non-profits, all the kind of atheist, secularist non-profits that exist, they exist
00:56:19.280for exactly this, supposedly. They exist for when that happens, they're going to rappel down like
00:56:25.020the SWAT team and just start filing lawsuits. And they're not doing that here because what we
00:56:29.560discover is that the separation of church and state thing was always about, it was never about
00:56:34.180freedom from religion. It was always specifically about Christianity. They wanted to push
00:56:39.820Christianity in particular out of the public sphere as much as they could. And then what0.52
00:56:45.860happens? You end up with a giant vacuum. I mean, Drew, you mentioned earlier the land
00:56:51.460acknowledgments. And it's just another form of kind of religious worship. It's another form of
00:56:57.500religious observation. And so we push Christianity out of the public sphere, and then you start0.96
00:57:02.780filling it in with this kind of secularist religion with the land acknowledgments, or you0.62
00:57:07.620end up with radical Muslims who show up and they take their religion very seriously. And they're
00:57:14.100very happy to fill in the gap. And of course, the left isn't there to stop them because they
00:57:17.940have no interest and and not to not to hammer the same point over and over again but you just notice
00:57:22.080that just this guy is asking questions he's not trying to humiliate the officer or anything like
00:57:27.640that he's just trying to get the facts out of him he stops i'm not talking to you it reminded me of
00:57:31.840matt's film what is a woman where he would say say the most innocent thing like what is a woman and
00:57:36.760it would be like get out you know get out of the room why are you asking about these things yeah
00:57:41.860why are you asking that what's what is what is wrong with you it's just they it cannot stand
00:57:46.880the light of day, which is what makes the Daily Wire and places like it, if there are other places
00:57:51.160like it, it's what makes it so important. It's just shining a light on the absurdity of it,
00:57:55.740that it is just an imaginary world. It's an imaginary world they're living in that is
00:58:00.120threatening to this world, which I happen to like. It's threatening to the real world,
00:58:05.300because if you live by those imaginary values, the real world can't stand.
00:58:09.200It's just amazing. It happens again and again. It's incredible to see where the left sees
00:58:15.220oppression and where they where they see freedom it's kind of incredible there there was uh an
00:58:20.180interviewer i think that it's the piece probably going to come out tomorrow from the new york times
00:58:23.180the new york times interviewed dallas and they interviewed me about the film and one of the
00:58:26.720things that the interviewer asked he said well you know aren't you afraid that this is going to
00:58:30.060cause islamophobic sentiment i said well i mean it is simply just portraying isis as isis and it
00:58:35.220is saying things that are perfectly true about islam as a global religious force not talking
00:58:39.220about individual muslims or anything like that and he said well you know people in dearborn are
00:58:42.760deeply you know jake lang was in dearborn and people in dearborn are deeply afraid i said well1.00
00:58:46.340it seems to me that jake lang should have been more deeply afraid considering they beat the living
00:58:49.460hell out of him and the reporter kind of stopped for a second because it had literally never occurred0.98
00:58:54.300to him that jake lang having the shit kicked out of him was actually worse than jake lang standing0.99
00:59:00.200there with a sign that was offensive to muslims and you don't have to be a jake lang bang to0.99
00:59:03.840acknowledge that like the the reality of physical assault is a worse thing than carrying a sign in
00:59:10.000a place where people don't want you to carry the sign.
00:59:12.200But this had literally never occurred to the New York Times report.
00:59:16.080He actually like you heard him stop on the phone as though this was the first time anybody
00:59:19.100had ever articulated something like this.
00:59:21.060And again, I think that it's that level of just blindness to what actual misuse of law
00:59:27.680looks like that is making us so vulnerable as a country.
00:59:30.640It's like, OK, if people come here and they legitimately use the rules of the society
00:59:34.400against us and then they violate those rules in the same way in order to harm us and they
00:59:39.200do both those things simultaneously, then it must be some failing of ours. We haven't fully
00:59:43.760understood what we've done to make that happen. And I mean, that truly is suicidal.
00:59:47.960You know, it reminds me of this discourse on the right that you hear a lot about whether the right
00:59:52.220should be more muscular in its use of government power. And they're all debates that have gone on
00:59:56.560for decades on the American right. But one of the memes that's come out of that, which I think is
01:00:01.200manifestly true, is that if you have two parties fighting against each other and one of them wants
01:00:06.500to wield power and one of them doesn't want to wield power, guess which party is going to win?
01:00:12.180It's always going to be the party that's actually doing something that has activity, that has a
01:00:17.220vision, that has a coalition and has momentum. And so when you look at this scene out of New York
01:00:24.400where the Islamic community is saying, look, we're going to reshape the standards and the norms.0.99
01:00:29.720We're going to violate the law and we'll effectively change the law to accommodate us.0.98
01:00:34.920What are you guys going to do about it?0.94
01:00:36.840Well, you know, I don't see a lot of Christians banding together saying,
01:00:40.660actually, we're going to double park during lunchtime daily mass.
01:00:44.760Or, you know, I don't see a broader coalition of Christians and Jews in New York,
01:00:50.500which is basically what New York has been for a very, very long time,
01:00:53.780saying, actually, we're going to have X, Y, and Z series of standards,
01:00:57.640and that's going to be enshrined in our law.
01:00:59.780Because, to Matt, to your point, there's no such thing as a separation of church and state.
01:01:04.040Never a perfect one anyway, because the legislators have to have recourse to morality,
01:01:08.720which means they have to have recourse to religion,
01:01:10.340and they're governing particular people who have certain rituals that go along with their religion,
01:01:14.720like being closed on Sundays for, you know, having blue laws or something like that.
01:01:18.660So there's never any way to do that, and we bury our heads in the sand and say,
01:01:22.320no, we're going to have a totally neutral, secular kind of law,1.00
01:01:26.800and the Muslims come in and they say, yeah, we're not interested in that.1.00
01:01:29.880What are you going to do about it? Nothing? Okay, cool, we're going to double park.1.00
01:01:33.300And this is why I think the Declaration is so important. The Declaration of Independence is so important because it actually establishes a God that we believe in, a God who installs in us the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, which is different.
01:01:45.540You know, that's that's different. Not every religion actually gives you those rights and dows you with those rights.
01:01:50.320And I don't think that we have any business taking that out of out of schools.
01:01:55.380I don't think we have any business taking the Bible out of schools because that's where that thought comes from.
01:01:59.300I don't think we have any business taking the history of Christianity and its formative value in the society out of schools.0.61
01:02:06.220And I think those are fights we should definitely be fighting.
01:02:08.520We should be fighting them in the courts.
