The Michael Knowles Show - Friendly Fire： The Next Decade Begins

00:00:00.000 You will get to sound off on whether or not black people are disabled as the Supreme Court reliable. 0.95

00:00:05.400 Oh, God. 0.50

00:00:08.020 That say something that'll get us canceled.

00:00:09.620 If you really want me to, I mean...

00:00:11.500 I'll tell you, waiting in the wings the last few minutes was quite entertaining.

00:00:15.400 Far too much friendly small talk so far in this friendly fire.

00:00:18.120 We got a lot of the friendly, but not the fire.

00:00:19.880 Not a lot of fire.

00:00:20.800 Friends like these coonies, enemies. 0.98

00:00:23.860 Friends like these coonies, enemies. 0.98

00:00:27.680 So, what, we're just going to kibitz for the first part of it?

00:00:30.200 Is that the idea or we're going to actually just jump into the show?

00:00:32.920 My favorite part is when Knowles reads the stage directions.

00:00:35.920 Yeah, hold on.

00:00:36.720 I got it.

00:00:37.260 What does it say?

00:00:38.580 Look hot.

00:00:39.600 Okay.

00:00:40.000 All right.

00:00:40.340 That's fine.

00:00:41.680 We're there.

00:00:42.840 Ben, you're positively glowing.

00:00:44.740 You're out of the country.

00:00:45.900 I am out of the country.

00:00:47.080 I am.

00:00:47.520 I'm still here.

00:00:48.640 And I will say that Donald Trump in Jerusalem is a thing, man.

00:00:52.140 We'll probably talk about it a little bit later.

00:00:53.320 But that dude can light up a country.

00:00:57.380 I mean, really, really strong stuff.

00:00:59.460 Where are you guys?

00:01:00.220 Yeah, obviously, you're back in the States.

00:01:01.460 My understanding is that you and Klavan are headed to, like, yodel in the Alps or something,

00:01:06.060 correct?

00:01:06.520 Next week?

00:01:07.480 Yes.

00:01:07.760 We're going for strudel in Austria.

00:01:09.760 I'm very excited.

00:01:11.460 We are.

00:01:12.360 Probably more exciting for Knowles than for Klavan, given the history there.

00:01:18.200 The fatherland front.

00:01:19.360 It was a very short period of time.

00:01:20.280 It doesn't quite get me to Liechtenstein and my Bonnie Prince Charlie over there, but it's

00:01:24.440 one step closer.

00:01:25.540 I can't believe that we're, like, a minute in and you already did the Bonnie Prince Charlie.

00:01:28.680 Like, it should take you at least an hour to get there, but no, we're starting off

00:01:31.760 hot right now.

00:01:32.060 That's actually our whole show.

00:01:33.040 Thanks so much for tuning in, folks.

00:01:34.320 Now, do you know what today is?

00:01:35.880 Today is actually two momentous events, because we're celebrating a decade of the Daily Wire,

00:01:41.500 not just by looking backward, but by looking forward.

00:01:44.000 Also, I don't know if you guys know this, this is the eight-year anniversary of Mr.

00:01:49.080 Walsh at this company.

00:01:51.000 Is it?

00:01:51.280 Really?

00:01:51.900 Yes.

00:01:52.200 Do we celebrate that exactly?

00:01:53.860 Is that the celebrate?

00:01:54.600 Is that the word?

00:01:55.220 Morn, I think.

00:01:56.340 Yeah.

00:01:56.780 Wow.

00:01:57.600 Do I get anything?

00:01:59.220 Do I get, like, a cupcake?

00:02:01.520 Anything?

00:02:02.160 I mean, to be fair, I mean, I think that you get a very large check.

00:02:07.180 I mean, like, on a regular basis, so there's that.

00:02:11.440 I mean, you can put it in a cupcake.

00:02:13.000 You know what we'll give you, Matt?

00:02:13.940 You do get something.

00:02:15.240 You will get to sound off on whether or not black people are disabled, as the Supreme 0.97

00:02:20.700 Court reliable is going to be. 0.64

00:02:21.820 Oh, God.

00:02:22.100 You will get to sound off on whether or not young Republicans can talk about that in group

00:02:26.380 chats.

00:02:27.200 And you will get to sound off on whether or not Gen Z is de-gayifying itself. 0.70

00:02:32.800 All of that you'll get to hear from Isabel Brown.

00:02:35.600 You'll get to hear from Jeremy and the Pendragon.

00:02:38.380 Finally, we're going to get this great Pendragon release, you know, the first look at it.

00:02:43.280 We're going to get so much.

00:02:45.240 But first, we're going to look back.

00:02:46.660 Because, Matt, eight years ago, you were in a car, and now you're not in a car.

00:02:52.660 Are we thrown into something, or are you just saying that to me?

00:02:54.620 No, I'm just saying that to you.

00:02:55.840 Oh, I thought we were throwing in a car.

00:02:58.800 There's a picture of you in the car.

00:03:00.380 Yeah, I was.

00:03:01.400 Oh, there's the picture.

00:03:02.180 I don't know if that's, yeah, that was me in the car.

00:03:03.720 I, you know, when I look back at these videos now, I am, I'm mostly perplexed by the hair.

00:03:12.840 Like, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't learn to comb my hair until I was about 32 years old.

00:03:17.900 Like, that's actually true.

00:03:19.060 I didn't, and I don't, I don't have great hair now, but at least I comb it.

00:03:23.060 And so at some point between the eight, like around 32 or 33 years old, I said, I should

00:03:26.620 probably start combing my hair at this point.

00:03:28.120 And I, and I did, but this was before that.

00:03:30.600 So you can see, it just looks like a dead animal on sitting on my head.

00:03:33.720 It looks like a toupee.

00:03:34.720 It looks like, uh, I don't know how my wife let me walk out of the house like that, but

00:03:38.680 she let me walk out of the house like that many times for years.

00:03:42.700 I mean, I feel like she didn't let you walk out of the house because you were literally

00:03:45.460 broadcasting in a car.

00:03:46.800 So you basically just stayed in your car all day, right?

00:03:48.760 You, you might've lived back there.

00:03:50.360 I mean, that was, I do like that our idea for your show originally was that you were just

00:03:54.040 going to sit in your car.

00:03:54.980 And what kind of car is that?

00:03:56.500 That doesn't look like a super nice car, actually.

00:03:58.620 That looks like.

00:03:59.460 I don't want to, I don't want to admit what kind of car that was.

00:04:01.700 That was, that was, this was my, we had one car.

00:04:03.840 It was my wife's car.

00:04:04.580 She brought it into the marriage.

00:04:05.380 It was a Passat.

00:04:06.080 It was a Volkswagen Passat.

00:04:08.320 And, uh, she, she brought it into the marriage.

00:04:10.700 My car broke down.

00:04:11.720 We only had one car.

00:04:12.740 And so I had to go to, I would go to a Walmart shopping center and do my, my show with confused.

00:04:19.840 There was no tinted windows.

00:04:20.760 As you can clearly tell, shoppers are walking by, just looking in at this guy, ranting at his

00:04:26.740 windshield, uh, confused.

00:04:29.400 You look like an accountant who's like three sheets to the wind and drove out to complain

00:04:33.380 about his wife on, on TikTok, you know?

00:04:35.600 Ah, she doesn't understand me.

00:04:37.160 I'm not.

00:04:37.820 There were already signs then though.

00:04:39.880 Uh, and I can see the Daily Beast headline of Matt Walsh broadcasting from Hitler's car.

00:04:45.760 Coincidence?

00:04:46.380 I think not.

00:04:47.340 I don't think so.

00:04:47.420 Drew, when we started, uh, all out here together, like 10 years ago, I think you had more hair

00:04:52.380 than Matt did there.

00:04:53.200 Is that right?

00:04:53.460 I, I actually did, although I didn't wear it on my head, uh, it was a secret when we

00:04:58.620 started this, you weren't even there.

00:05:00.220 No, I was here on day two before you came on to be my Twitter voice, which I have to say

00:05:05.300 was the last thing you ever did that actually was good.

00:05:08.220 Uh, you sounded so much like me.

00:05:09.980 I started imitating you just so I could sound like me.

00:05:12.220 But I remember I had just been the first day we did this.

00:05:15.600 I had just been to England to visit my son who was at Oxford.

00:05:18.540 And for some reason we had to absolutely had to do it the next morning.

00:05:23.700 So I flew in, I must've gotten an hour of sleep.

00:05:26.400 I walked in and it was me and Ben in this, uh, pool house that Jeremy had.

00:05:31.200 And I did this like 15 minute show or something like that.

00:05:34.680 Looked at, got up, looked down and I was wearing bedroom slippers.

00:05:37.700 I was wearing like, you know, I was, and back then, you know, I was, I was younger.

00:05:40.980 I was like 105 and like, I was looking, I thought I forgot to put my shoes on.

00:05:45.380 I literally came in for, and, and Jeremy said, I noticed that.

00:05:49.200 I know that was, you know, one of my favorite things about this company and looking back

00:05:52.480 on all of this is the, is to see the change that occurred in Walsh and did not occur in

00:05:56.120 Andrew Klavan.

00:05:57.020 I just, it's one of my favorite things.

00:05:58.980 Like, like Walsh still had that, like not full beard.

00:06:02.400 Like it was kind of my style of beard.

00:06:03.780 Actually it was like this kind of shortcut Zorin Momdani thing that was happening right there.

00:06:07.660 So he kind of looked half hipster.

00:06:09.020 And now of course he looks like a mountain man, right now, of course, Walsh looks like

00:06:12.000 he belongs out in the forest of New Hampshire, chopping wood or something.

00:06:15.160 But here he looks like he, you know, belongs fixing your computer at one of those, those

00:06:20.060 repair shops at the mall.

00:06:20.960 When he sobers up, yeah.

00:06:21.900 And then, and then meanwhile, you got, you got Drew and Drew looks exactly the same.

00:06:26.060 Drew's like the principal from Back to the Future.

00:06:28.160 Didn't that guy ever have hair?

00:06:29.420 I mean, just identical.

00:06:30.420 Like you could just travel him back in time and supplant one Drew for the other Drew.

00:06:34.280 And there is a picture in my room that is going to be 400 years old, however,

00:06:38.180 it's like, just, just slowly decaying.

00:06:40.420 All my sins are written in the faces.

00:06:42.780 And then, and then Knowles is like, Knowles, Knowles' story is, is a good one because he,

00:06:46.220 he was kind of like the aggressive, uh, the aggressive climber at the Daily Wire.

00:06:50.740 Like he started out as a guy who was supposed to, you know, answer the phones.

00:06:55.300 I think it was the pizza boy.

00:06:56.100 Yeah.

00:06:56.320 Your original job was like social media marketing and you were never good at it.

00:07:00.180 So we're like, give him a show.

00:07:02.120 When I say pizza boy, I meant I used to eat a lot of pizzas in the Daily Wire.

00:07:05.440 Oh dude, I mean, that's how he used to eat.

00:07:07.400 One of my favorite Knowles memories from the first 10 years of Daily Wire, like very early

00:07:10.580 on was he thought he was going to get cast in a movie.

00:07:14.020 And so he thought that this meant that he had to somehow get a six pack.

00:07:17.960 And so the way he was going to get a six pack was that he was going to walk around the office

00:07:22.780 just eating bags of meat, literally just like Ziploc bags of ground beef.

00:07:27.620 And just walk around for like weeks on end doing this.

00:07:29.600 And he just got fat at no point.

00:07:31.500 I gave 20 pounds of muscle.

00:07:34.120 I didn't cut.

00:07:35.140 I never cut.

00:07:36.240 I just, I got, you know, my favorite memory, Ben, of all those years ago, this was pre-fat,

00:07:42.460 I think, was I was preparing, and this was like, I don't know, this was like year one.

00:07:47.280 And I was preparing to propose to my beloved wife, sweet little Alisa.

00:07:51.400 And I bought the ring and I was all excited.

00:07:53.780 And then I told my friend, Ben Shapiro, and he promptly almost ruined my marriage proposal.

00:08:02.000 I remember that.

00:08:02.400 My marriage, maybe, almost.

00:08:03.780 Yeah.

00:08:04.020 Now, this is the thing.

00:08:04.880 Well, see, I thought like, Knowles must have thought of me as a closer friend than I was.

00:08:09.940 Because, you know, really, like he thought, okay, you know, I'm confiding in Ben.

00:08:13.340 And like confiding in Ben, like unless you're like a really close friend, you should not confide

00:08:16.700 in Ben.

00:08:17.140 You know, I've got like a show.

00:08:18.760 I've got things to say.

00:08:20.100 And Knowles basically says, I figured, okay, he's telling me because it's after the fact.

00:08:23.280 He already proposed.

00:08:24.080 Like, why would he tell me if he had not already proposed?

00:08:27.120 It's not like, you know, we spend hours dear diarying each other in the evenings or something.

00:08:32.300 And so he tells me.

00:08:32.980 And so I go on the air.

00:08:33.780 And in the middle of the show, I'm like, and congratulations to Michael Knowles, who's

00:08:36.820 proposing to sweet little Alisa.

00:08:39.120 And then, unfortunately for Michael, Alisa listens to the show.

00:08:43.860 And how did you get out of that one?

00:08:46.100 It was like she listens late that day or something.

00:08:46.820 It was some real jujitsu.

00:08:47.960 We, because luckily she was listening to it, you know, all the time, but she listened

00:08:52.840 after the fact.

00:08:53.500 We went in there, edited that out of your show.

00:08:56.280 And we're able to, before it came out, I was very lucky.

00:08:59.140 The marriage went off just fine.

00:09:01.540 And that just, that prompts me to take a little trip down memory lane on our video screens.

00:09:07.720 This year, the Daily Wire turns 10.

00:09:10.780 That's right.

00:09:11.380 10 years of leftist tears.

00:09:13.460 Bottled, unfiltered, and sold for a profit.

00:09:15.680 Let's rewind.

00:09:16.880 2015, Caleb Robinson thinks the world needs smarter conservatives.

00:09:19.960 So he decided to do something about it.

00:09:22.040 Caleb calls Jeremy boring.

00:09:23.520 Jeremy calls Ben Shapiro.

00:09:24.820 What is going on?

00:09:25.760 They load up the truck and move to California.

00:09:28.060 Yes, California.

00:09:29.760 Mission.

00:09:30.240 Give quiet conservatives a voice.

00:09:32.300 Loudly.

00:09:33.000 Then, Ben goes full viral.

00:09:34.560 First, he wrecks Piers Morgan on CNN.

00:09:36.520 You tend to demonize people who differ from you politically.

00:09:39.300 And get threatened by a dude cosplaying a woman on Dr. Drew.

00:09:42.180 You cut that out now, or you'll go home in an ambulance.

00:09:45.060 Yeah, that seems mildly inappropriate for a political discussion.

00:09:47.840 Boom! 0.99

00:09:48.480 The Ben Shapiro Show is born.

00:09:50.640 It's shocking to me.

00:09:51.400 Next up, Andrew Klavan.

00:09:52.800 Old guy, big brain, surprisingly funny.

00:09:55.040 This is the Andrew.

00:09:56.180 Then we give the intern his own show.

00:09:58.580 Michael Knowles.

00:09:59.280 Oh, man.

00:10:00.160 Then we find Matt Walsh.

00:10:01.260 Yes!

00:10:01.720 Recording in his car, like he's on the run.

00:10:03.720 We give him a desk.

00:10:04.880 The beard thrives.

00:10:06.520 Cut to 2020.

00:10:07.660 Joe Biden, COVID, inflation, high taxes, rampant illegal immigration, and of course, the BLM riots.

00:10:13.020 California was literally a dumpster fire.

00:10:14.780 So, we moved the company to Nashville.

00:10:16.160 I love partying, I love dancing, and I'm famously social.

00:10:18.840 Then we add a sports show.

00:10:20.100 Crane & Company.

00:10:20.800 Very spot on.

00:10:21.720 The Morning Wire.

00:10:22.360 Thanks for waking up with us.

00:10:23.480 Candace joins.

00:10:24.220 I am so excited to share the news with you.

00:10:26.180 Changed the game, and eventually left the group chat.

00:10:28.440 Then we started the comment section.

00:10:30.180 Podcasts, news, books, live shows.

00:10:32.200 And while we were busy changing culture, Joe Biden mandates a vaccine.

00:10:36.140 We sue all the way to the Supreme Court.

00:10:38.520 There's a lot of winning that is happening right now.

00:10:40.440 Still not satisfied.

00:10:42.120 Hey, what if we start making movies?

00:10:44.340 Run, hide, fight, shut in, and terror on the prairie.

00:10:47.260 2022, Matt Walsh drops what is a woman.

00:10:49.300 Why do you ask that question?

00:10:50.300 I just wanted to know, what is a woman? 1.00

00:10:51.440 Then, the greatest lie ever sold.

00:10:52.980 We take down BLM.

00:10:54.240 Where is that money?

00:10:55.320 I don't know.

00:10:56.240 Matt Walsh testifies to stop child mutilation.

00:10:58.720 It goes to the Supreme Court.

00:11:00.220 We win, I can.

00:11:02.960 Anyone noticing a theme?

00:11:04.780 Then we launch Daily Wire Plus.

00:11:06.740 Enter Dr. Jordan B. Peterson.

00:11:08.220 His podcast, biblical series, and the Mastering Life collection of wisdom.

00:11:11.900 Why is that not a good thing?

00:11:13.440 We started our own razor company, our own chocolate company, and cigar company.

00:11:17.160 And when Bud Light went woke, we almost started a beer company.

00:11:20.120 Thanks a lot, lawyers.

00:11:21.860 2024, Am I Racist?

00:11:23.860 hits theaters.

00:11:24.660 Your movie is really funny.

00:11:26.440 It's really funny.

00:11:27.460 Crush is the box office.

00:11:29.020 Crush is DEI.

00:11:29.960 And crushes Joy Reid's will to live. 0.97

00:11:31.780 Raise a glass if you're racist. 0.99

00:11:33.700 It's a racist. 0.96

00:11:35.000 We're not done yet.

00:11:36.280 So far this year, we opened a D.C. office.

00:11:38.660 Joined the White House press pool.

00:11:39.920 And we welcomed Isabel Brown.

00:11:41.440 Now, the Daily Wire is a media empire.

00:11:44.620 Billions of views.

00:11:45.580 Cultural wins. 0.90

00:11:46.680 Stacked like Biden gaffes.

00:11:48.900 Yeah.

00:11:50.060 And all because of you.

00:11:51.720 Get ready for what we have in store for the next decade.

00:11:54.400 Well, believe it or not, that was actually, I think, kind of fun to look back at the last 10 years.

00:12:00.080 But here's the thing.

00:12:00.580 We're not going to just do a bunch of looking back because it's time to look forward to the future, to a lifetime of joy with us.

00:12:10.840 Because here's the thing.

00:12:11.960 We do have a brand new thing.

00:12:13.360 It is called the Daily Wire Lifetime Membership.

00:12:15.940 It's one membership.

00:12:16.800 It gives you all access for the rest of your natural life and perhaps beyond because I can't actually speak to what happens after that with any real sense of assurance.

00:12:25.560 No renewals.

00:12:26.420 No expiration.

00:12:27.440 Every new benefit we add to all access in the years ahead, those become yours automatically.

00:12:32.120 With all access, you get ad-free episodes before they're available anywhere else.

00:12:35.140 Live Q&As where you're talking to us, you know, like a human.

00:12:38.260 Early access to offers and announcements, unlimited access to all of our films, our docu-series, our investigative reporting for the rest of your natural life.

00:12:47.220 Lifetime Members also carry that forward flag pin.

00:12:49.340 You see this?

00:12:49.680 You see this beautiful pin?

00:12:50.800 This magnificent pin that producer Jake had to literally go across the country to get for me today because for some odd reason, I guess, it just somehow, in any case, he had to spend half the day going and getting this.

00:13:01.540 But you can have this pin without having to drive all the way from Jerusalem to Lode in order to pick it up.

00:13:08.220 It is accented in 14-karat gold, reserves only for our DW Lifers, along with a signed copy of my fabulous, incredible, Everyone Loves It, brand new book, Lions and Scavengers.

00:13:19.280 They're all saying so to them.

00:13:20.460 Here's the catch.

00:13:21.360 There are only 10,000 Lifetime Memberships that will ever exist, ever, like forever.

00:13:26.740 When they're gone, they are gone.

00:13:29.160 Become the cornerstone of building the next decade of Daily Wire.

00:13:31.960 We appreciate it.

00:13:32.700 Head on over to dailywire.com slash lifetime and secure your place in Daily Wire history. 0.96

00:13:38.600 Gentlemen, can we please dive in on whether or not black people are disabled? 0.96

00:13:43.460 What? 0.98

00:13:44.000 What are you?

00:13:45.240 That's your opener? 0.99

00:13:46.300 It's not black people are disabled. 0.99

00:13:48.280 It's black people. 1.00

00:13:49.760 It's a disability itself. 1.00

00:13:51.560 The blackness is the disability. 1.00

00:13:53.600 This is what contends. 0.83

00:13:54.920 This woman is a chucklehead, first of all. 1.00

00:13:57.560 Katanji Brown-Jackson is a chucklehead. 0.96

00:13:59.900 And she just said, she said this, that they should be able to have special, you know, voting districts because it's, they can't get to the polls because they're disabled by blackness. 1.00

00:14:10.060 That's basically, that's what she said.

00:14:11.240 I didn't go to law school.

00:14:12.160 Ben, is that, is that true?

00:14:13.540 I mean, that doesn't sound right.

00:14:15.560 I mean, like if I, if I, if I, if I just like off the top of my head, it doesn't sound like a thing that's, that's true.

00:14:20.900 And also it is, it is just another amusing episode in that Ryan Long comedy special where like it's white supremacists and woke left and they're the same because all the white supremacists will also say that thing.

00:14:32.380 But Katanji Brown-Jackson apparently did say that thing.

00:14:34.800 Do we have audio of this?

00:14:35.460 Katanji Brown-Jackson, I don't actually believe your summary of this.

00:14:37.020 Do we have like audio of her saying this thing?

00:14:38.880 Because I would like to hear it.

00:14:40.280 I guess I'm thinking of it, of the fact that remedial action, absent discriminatory intent, is really not a new idea in the civil rights laws.

00:14:52.420 And, and my kind of paradigmatic example of this is something like the ADA.

00:14:59.480 Congress passed the Americans with Disabilities Act against the backdrop of a world that was generally not accessible to people with disabilities.

00:15:09.080 And so it was discriminatory in effect because these folks were not able to access these buildings.

00:15:16.480 The idea in Section 2 is that we are responding to current day manifestations of past and present decisions that disadvantage minorities and make it so that they don't have equal access to the voting system.

00:15:35.720 Right?

00:15:35.980 They're, they're disabled. 1.00

00:15:36.920 In fact, we use the word disabled in Milligan.

00:15:39.800 We say that's a way in which you see that these processes are not equally open.

00:15:45.320 Oh, no, that is not good.

00:15:48.520 That is not good lawyering or human being.

00:15:50.940 That is, that is, that is bad.

00:15:52.860 I mean, just, just for, for those who, you know, care about the law, the, the ADA was, which I think actually is a bad piece of law, but the, but the ADA originally was passed on the basis that, you know, like people in wheelchairs can't go upstairs and therefore they might need a ramp to go up into a building.

00:16:09.820 And she's making the case that that's somehow like black people not having their own voting districts because they are, they're somehow historically disadvantaged.

00:16:17.020 Well, I think the thing with the ADA is that disabled people are in fact disadvantaged by physical reality.

00:16:24.780 That's, that's a bit of a differentiate.

00:16:26.900 Okay.

00:16:27.260 I'm sorry. 1.00

00:16:27.600 She's dumb. 1.00

00:16:28.200 There's, there's no other way to put it. 1.00

00:16:29.160 She's just dumb. 1.00

00:16:30.700 Yeah. 1.00

00:16:31.300 Matt, Matt, say something that'll get us canceled.

00:16:33.380 Just do it.

00:16:34.100 You want to, I can see it in your eyes.

00:16:35.780 Go.

00:16:35.960 If you really want me to, I mean, I was, I was actually, I was going to do the episode.

00:16:40.760 I was going to speak in her defense a little bit.

00:16:42.200 And the only thing I'd say in her defense is that, uh, there's no good argument that the other side can make on this case.

00:16:49.280 They're going to lose the case.

00:16:51.060 And, uh, we should, I, it should be getting a lot more attention than it is because this might destroy the Democrats party's ability to get, uh, get a majority in the house of representatives like ever again.

00:17:03.000 Um, and, and there's, there's nothing that can really be said because what they, what they're trying to defend is the proposition that in order to avoid racial discrimination, uh, in the way that we, that, that, that district works, you have to deliberately racially discriminate by creating districts that explicitly exclude as many white people as possible.

00:17:26.120 Like that, that's the argument they're trying to make and there's nothing intelligent to be said in defense of it.

00:17:31.180 And so that might be the best available argument is what I'm trying to say that she came up with.

00:17:36.280 I don't know.

00:17:36.680 Fair.

00:17:37.140 Drew, I know you were around when Plessy v. Ferguson was decided.

00:17:40.380 What do you make of this oral argument?

00:17:42.600 Well, I, what I like about it is the, this, the Voting Rights Act was passed, I think in 65.

00:17:47.600 So that's 60 years ago, right?

00:17:49.200 So essentially what they're arguing is that the country hasn't changed at all.

00:17:53.180 So we have had all the civil rights law.

00:17:55.120 They've sued over the, so they've turned the Civil Rights Act into something that was never meant to be.

00:17:59.280 They've destroyed our right to free association.

00:18:03.280 They say that, you know, they're counting the heads, how many black heads are in a room so they can, none of that has helped. 1.00

00:18:10.080 None of that has helped.

00:18:11.220 All they have to do is take this wall down that was put up 60 years ago and suddenly, you know, Rod Steiger in a sheriff's hat is going to show up again.

00:18:20.960 He's just been waiting.

00:18:21.940 He's been waiting behind that wall to come back.

00:18:24.000 Nobody cares anymore. 0.96

00:18:25.120 Nobody's stopping black people from voting.

00:18:26.800 I mean, they say, these people think that it's a disability that if you say, oh, you need ID, like every country on earth, you need ID to vote. 0.97

00:18:35.980 Black people can't get ID. 1.00

00:18:37.380 How would, how would they, how would they know how to, how would they understand how to get ID? 0.97

00:18:41.320 I don't, I do not understand.

00:18:42.740 I have asked this on college campuses. 0.99

00:18:44.320 I do not understand why any black man, specifically a black man would let a party, would vote for a party that treats him like a cripple. 0.99

00:18:54.600 I don't understand it. 0.99

00:18:55.740 I mean, I can understand women. 1.00

00:18:56.900 They want to be taken care of, something like that.

00:18:58.820 I, I, who, who would vote for somebody who talks about you like that?

00:19:02.500 It's, it's absolutely despicable, though it is hilarious, which for me is redeeming.

00:19:06.740 You know, I'm always willing to laugh at it.

00:19:08.620 And I just think I would have been really, really funny if at the end of this, John Roberts had just turned to her and say, madam, you're a chucklehead.

00:19:15.060 I mean, that was just, it just made my day.

00:19:17.280 Well, black men are actually starting to make that move a little bit. 1.00

00:19:20.060 And I know, listen, we will get to whether or not young Republicans are allowed to Ketanji post in their group chats, you know, if they're allowed to make these sorts of racist and offensive comments.

00:19:29.980 First, though, Ben, could you tell us about ExpressVPN?

00:19:32.780 Would I?

00:19:33.560 I would love to tell you about ExpressVPN.

00:19:35.500 There's nothing more I would love to talk about than ExpressVPN, like literally in the whole wide world.

00:19:40.780 Because here's the thing, Michael Moles has not been using his ExpressVPN.

00:19:44.540 So the way that I know this is that ExpressVPN is supposed to protect you against hacking.

00:19:49.320 It's supposed to protect you against, you know, people getting a hold of your data.

00:19:52.480 And I'm not going to say that I hacked Michael Moles' email.

00:19:55.580 I will say some material has come into my possession about Michael Moles' search history, such as, and I have to say, it is deeply embarrassing, like truly embarrassing, like more embarrassing than that Politico chat.

00:20:08.520 Apparently, he searched his own name 36 times in the last two days.

00:20:12.340 Certainly.

00:20:12.820 Apparently.

00:20:13.500 That's it?

00:20:14.100 He has, believe it or not, Thomas Aquinas fan fiction, which I didn't think was an actual category of fan fiction.

00:20:20.640 I don't know who he's shipping there, but it's definitely weird.

00:20:23.120 He's been searching nonstop about whether Starbucks is going to start serving pumpkin spice latte yet. 0.99

00:20:28.820 Like, he will not stop with this crap. 0.99

00:20:30.860 And worst of all, K-pop Demon Hunter's ukulele covers. 0.99

00:20:35.160 That is a thing that we can all expect sometime in the near future.

00:20:38.040 So don't let, here's the thing, folks, don't let people like me get a hold of your data the way that I got a hold of Michael Moles' data and then publicly embarrassed him.

00:20:45.300 Because ExpressVPN can protect you.

00:20:47.160 It can, in fact, protect you.

00:20:48.100 It's an app that encrypts 100% of your online activity and reroutes it through those secure servers.

00:20:53.700 Third parties can't keep tabs on you.

00:20:55.480 When I'm traveling, I've got ExpressVPN on all the time because I'm on airports or hotel Wi-Fi or whatever. 0.97

00:21:00.220 Don't wait until it's too late and don't be a dummy like Michael.

00:21:02.740 The time to protect your data from the future is right now.

00:21:05.780 Use my special link to get four extra months of ExpressVPN's privacy protection.

00:21:08.940 Head on over to ExpressVPN.com slash Friendly Fire, that's E-X-P-R-E-S-S-V-P-N.com slash Friendly Fire to get four extra months of coverage.

00:21:18.540 I feel exposed.

00:21:19.240 Why'd you miss Noles' tentacle porn? 0.98

00:21:21.060 I don't, uh... 0.98

00:21:21.940 Oh, man.

00:21:24.560 You know what else I was searching for that Ben didn't mention?

00:21:28.120 I was searching for his new book.

00:21:30.400 Uh-oh.

00:21:30.640 According to this ad copy that was handed to me, I was searching for his new book, Lions and Scavengers.

00:21:36.540 And do you know where you can get it?

00:22:51.820 We had an opportunity to disrupt what became 9-11.

00:23:00.040 It's coming at your kids whether you like it or not.

00:23:02.560 It wasn't if it was going to happen, it was when the United States was going to be attacked.

00:23:10.620 These people are trying to talk to my daughter.

00:23:12.680 Edward?

00:23:13.500 So we're off camera. 0.51

00:23:14.480 I'm a demon.

00:23:15.360 The whole purpose behind this is to overturn Western civilization.

00:23:19.760 Bin Laden was getting very antsy.

00:23:21.920 Happy 10th anniversary, guys.

00:23:47.820 Big fans.

00:23:48.580 Love what you guys have been up to, and congratulations on all your success.

00:23:53.040 Look forward to seeing more from all of your top talent, all the amazing content you've produced, and wish you the best of luck for the next 10 years.

00:24:01.780 10 years?

00:24:02.720 It's your 10-year anniversary?

00:24:04.260 Where did the time go?

00:24:05.740 I looked up online what you get somebody for their 10-year anniversary, and the modern gift is diamonds, so that's out.

00:24:12.520 The more traditional gift is either tin or aluminum.

00:24:16.080 So I'm between sending you a pack of Altoids or a Dr. Fauci vaccine, which is laden with aluminum, just ask RFKJ.

00:24:25.700 I think given the options, you're getting yourself a pack of Altoids, and what I mean by sending it is, I love you.

00:24:33.260 Here's to 10 more.

00:24:34.040 Here's to 10 years of standing firm, to 10 years of pushing boundaries, to 10 years of restoring integrity in media.

00:24:42.880 And I will say to all my buddies at Daily Wire, I can't count how many liver cells and brain cells I've killed with you guys.

00:24:51.760 I will say the particular joy of joining you guys in Lady Ballers, that that was something else.

00:24:58.020 Ben, as a foul-mouthed ref, that is an image I never thought I'd see, and I'll never see again.

00:25:03.740 And everyone else, I just want to congratulate you for surviving with Michael Knowles on the payroll.

00:25:09.640 I don't know how y'all exist. I'm astonished Michael hasn't bankrupted you, but somehow you've made it.

00:25:16.840 Congratulations. I can't wait to see what you do in the next decade.

00:25:21.320 Oh, that was nice. Okay.

00:25:22.880 That was nice. Does anybody even wanted to sneak up in back of Tim and just take that hat off and see if his brain is just naked under there? 0.95

00:25:29.640 One of my favorite memories, honestly, like first 10 years of Daily Wire, was Jeremy Boring's 40th birthday party, where I got Ted Cruz to come to Jeremy's 40th birthday party.

00:25:39.480 And then Ted proceeded to give like an actual honest-to-God stump speech at Jeremy's birthday party.

00:25:43.920 You remember this? Like at a small pizza shop in the Valley. It was pretty spectacular. Good times, good times.

00:25:48.640 Well, from that, I feel like, let's say, should we talk about something serious? Matt, talk about something serious.

00:25:53.200 This has been far too much friendly small talk so far in this friendly fire. We got a lot of the friendly, but not the fire.

00:25:59.580 Not a lot of fire.

00:26:00.600 Yeah. So, okay. So let's get into it. I've been strictly instructed that the intros to these topics are supposed to be two minutes.

00:26:07.280 But my primary and most reliable strategy in any debate is just to talk and not let anyone else.

00:26:13.660 Filibuster is my only move.

00:26:17.360 So, Politico. Let's talk about Politico. This is one of the big stories happening right now.

00:26:23.200 And for anyone who's not familiar, Politico published a couple days ago this big hit piece revealing the private group chat conversation of some young Republicans.

00:26:33.780 And the young Republicans are not elected officials. They're not anyone that anyone's even heard of for the most part.

00:26:41.440 There's one person in the group chat, apparently, who works in the Trump administration, who is not recorded having said anything.

00:26:47.900 So he was in it. But as far as we know, he didn't say anything, quote unquote, offensive.

00:26:54.320 But there were other comments made in the group chat as Politico reveals that were a lot of edgy jokes and a lot of a lot of a lot of offensive language that's being used in the in this group chat.

00:27:11.400 And most of it, as Politico finally admits in the article, if you read all 57 paragraphs of it, they'll finally admit that, yeah, most of this is supposed to be a joke, although they don't, of course, put that in the in the headline.

00:27:24.820 And, you know, that the title of the article has the quote, I love Hitler. 0.93

00:27:30.520 And when you look at the context of that comment in the group in the group chat, it's very obvious that it is a joke.

00:27:38.820 It's sarcasm, very much in line with the kind of sarcasm Republicans use all the time about, yeah, I'm real far right.

00:27:44.980 I guess I love Hitler, you know, along the lines of me having theocratic fascist in my Twitter bio, which isn't entirely a joke, but it's mostly a joke. 0.88

00:27:53.960 Right. So this is kind of this this kind of breaks down a few different ways.

00:28:00.460 And for me, the story here is not the group chat, because these are private messages between people that no one knows.

00:28:10.240 These are not relevant people. And the only reason why the media is showing us is the only reason why they're doing this is obviously it's a political hit.

00:28:19.940 And in particular, they're trying to distract from the fact that the left has spent the last month.

00:28:26.280 I mean, really much longer than that, but especially the last month, openly celebrating political violence.

00:28:30.940 And now we have a attorney general candidates, probably the next attorney general of Virginia, who was was was in his own messages saying not as a joke that he wants his political opponents to die and even their children to die.

00:28:43.900 And he was very specific that he was not joking about it. And so the left is looking to distract from that.

00:28:48.920 And their way of doing it is by somehow obtaining these these messages and putting them out to distract us.

00:28:56.220 And, you know, some Republicans have been very quick to offer their denunciations to say how offended they are, how horrible these messages are, that everybody involved should be fired, that they should never be allowed in politics again. 0.96

00:29:12.120 I think that that response is foolish. 0.69

00:29:16.840 I think it gives the left exactly what they want. 0.95

00:29:20.240 I've I have really appreciated J.D. Vance's response.

00:29:24.300 Now, I think I think the vice president has struck exactly the right chord on this because he's not going to play the game.

00:29:31.020 And instead, what he's done is he's he has redirected the conversation back to the thing that the left is trying to distract us from.

00:29:38.740 There's only there's one reason and one reason only that this story exists.

00:29:43.660 And it's to get us to stop talking about Jay Jones and the leftists who've been celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk for the last month.

00:29:49.720 That's the only reason that the story exists.

00:29:52.160 And so J.D. Vance's point is, no, I'm not going to play that game with you.

00:29:55.260 I'm not going to give you what you want.

00:29:57.020 Instead, I'm going to redirect the conversation back to the thing that you're trying to distract us from.

00:30:00.380 And I think that that's exactly exactly the right move.

00:30:03.980 I think there's some disagreement about that, though.

00:30:06.040 There's more to be said about it.

00:30:07.220 But I'm going to go first to the guy who I think is most likely to agree with me.

00:30:12.740 And that is Michael.

00:30:14.040 Michael.

00:30:16.140 Well, you're right, Matt.

00:30:17.120 I totally agree.

00:30:17.800 Was it the swastik on his forehead?

00:30:19.660 Yes.

00:30:20.140 Hey, listen, we're Italian.

00:30:21.520 Mussolini was a complex figure.

00:30:24.780 My only take on this that probably has not been said elsewhere is even the fact that we're talking about the ideology of the far right and comparing the far right to the far left.

00:30:36.200 And, you know, whether or not people like Hitler or whatever is actually kind of missing the point.

00:30:40.200 I strongly suspect these messages were leaked by another young Republican that has been reported.

00:30:45.980 And having spent a lot of time with New York young Republicans, I promise you this whole thing is about some like petty personal grudge.

00:30:52.720 And it's some power play within New York politics.

00:30:55.220 And it actually has very little to do with the ideology or putative ideology of these texts.

00:31:00.180 But I totally agree.

00:31:02.140 There is no comparison whatsoever between some 19-year-old kid who's making edgy jokes trying to outbaste his friend in a group chat and a former state legislator would-be top law enforcement official in Virginia saying, as you note, Matt, that he is not joking when he calls for the death of his opponents and even the death of their children.

00:31:21.720 So, yes, not at all.

00:31:22.960 Now, the question then becomes, should we ever police our own?

00:31:27.080 Should we ever have guardrails or do we say anyone, you know, to the right of Hillary is on our side?

00:31:31.040 And I think the answer is obviously, yes, there have to be guardrails.

00:31:34.860 Just like a nation is circumscribed by its border, so too a political coalition is circumscribed.

00:31:39.440 That's what delineates it as a specific coalition.

00:31:42.140 But the question is, how are we going to arrive at those guardrails?

00:31:45.960 Are we going to say that anyone who ever, you know, gets caught telling an off-color joke by Politico, they're completely cast into the outer darkness?

00:31:54.160 No, I don't think that's right.

00:31:55.400 I think we should have guardrails.

00:31:56.880 We should police a coalition.

00:31:58.280 And the way we should do it is very carefully.

00:32:01.260 This was Scalia's answer when, as a student, we asked him, hey, you know, where do you draw the limits on the Second Amendment?

00:32:07.520 Where do you draw the limits on stare decisis?

00:32:09.260 And everyone wanted a really ideological answer, and his answer was, very carefully.

00:32:14.700 We kind of know.

00:32:15.320 We're prudent.

00:32:15.800 It's a people business.

00:32:16.900 And should these kids have their lives ruined because they were mouthing off and telling jokes in a group chat?

00:32:21.220 No, I don't think so.

00:32:22.980 But we're not prudent.

00:32:25.180 So, I mean, here's the thing.

00:32:26.660 We're just not.

00:32:27.380 I mean, so I would agree with you that, quote-unquote, policing, you need to be prudent about how you police.

00:32:33.720 I also think that everyone agrees.

00:32:36.660 That's, I would assume, Matt included, and Matt, you told me if I'm wrong here, that, you know, there are certain things that can be said that social consequences should actually attend to.

00:32:48.380 Certainly, that's true on the left, right?

00:32:49.560 If you say that you want to murder the Speaker of the House and then calls the kids fascist, there should be social consequences that actually attend to that. 0.98

00:32:56.900 I agree with everything you say about the difference between a private group chat between a bunch of young Republican idiots who are outbasing each other and the attorney general candidate in Virginia actually saying the thing running for office. 0.99

00:33:10.160 Now, I will say I don't think these people are kids. 0.99

00:33:12.460 I don't think 31-year-old is a kid.

00:33:13.820 I don't like using the sort of language of kids to describe people who really should be married and have children of their own by this point in their life.

00:33:20.480 And I think the kind of loose playing with that term, as though if you're a 31-year-old, which is what one of these people was, that somehow this is the equivalent of being 17, I don't think that's true either.

00:33:29.660 But the YRs go down to 22.

00:33:31.280 I agree.

00:33:31.920 But some of the people who are being quoted here in their 30s, some are up all the way up to 40.

00:33:35.200 I get it.

00:33:36.340 Again, I'm not even disagreeing with the motivations of the Politico story.

00:33:39.400 In fact, even on my show today, I talked about the motivations of the Politico story, which, Matt, I agree, are completely scurrilous and designed to distract from the sort of violent rhetoric we've seen from the left.

00:33:49.120 But it has led to, I think, a reactionary response on some parts of the right to say there should be no policing ever at all.

00:33:55.920 No social consequences should ever attend to things that are said on the right, that it's basically just pure my side versus your side.

00:34:03.300 The problem I have is, number one, I think that's immoral.

00:34:05.500 And number two, I don't think that's pragmatic.

00:34:06.640 I don't think that's moral because I think that there are things that get said on the right that are really, really, really ugly.

00:34:12.100 And pretending those away doesn't make them go away.

00:34:14.240 I think that they're rising.

00:34:15.500 I think that they're getting more common.

00:34:17.140 I know that my death threats from that side are getting more common.

00:34:19.480 I know I have more security because of that.

00:34:21.080 And it's not just from the left.

00:34:22.100 I have lots of security from the left.

00:34:23.620 And I also get lots of security from the right.

00:34:25.880 Matt, I think a little bit earlier today you tweeted that kind of your litmus test is the people who are trying to kill you.

00:34:30.860 And I totally get that.

00:34:32.140 I also have that litmus test.

00:34:33.360 The difference is that I think that if somebody tries to kill Matt, there's a good shot that it's going to be a leftist. 0.97

00:34:38.660 If somebody tries to kill me, it's a frickin' Agatha Christie novel. 0.86

00:34:42.480 I just don't know which direction the bullet is coming from at this point given the sort of various and sundry radical extremes that exist. 0.88

00:34:49.900 I'm not going to say that the right is equivalent to the left in this respect because I don't think it's been mainstreamed to nearly the same effect on the right that it has been on the left.

00:34:56.320 But to pretend that it has not infiltrated a lot of very important spaces I think is sort of whistling past the graveyard.

00:35:01.320 Now, again, that's not about the Politico story.

00:35:02.840 That's more of a broad commentary about where we are in the movement.

00:35:05.860 And as a matter of sort of morality, we all have things where, again, I'm not saying cast into the outer darkness.

00:35:13.340 I'm not calling for any of these people who I think everyone knows who I'm referring to.

00:35:17.420 But I don't think I'm calling for any of these people to be deplatformed or removed from YouTube or removed from Twitter.

00:35:21.240 In fact, I've called for many of these people, Nick Fuentes, for example, to actually be returned to Twitter, despite the fact that we have some pretty significant disagreements, including the fact that he thinks that that I and people like me are scurrilous, you know, sons of Satan or whatever, however he would put it.

00:35:36.680 You know, but, you know, that is a different thing from is this person part of, quote unquote, the movement that I belong to?

00:35:43.180 And the answer there is he doesn't think I'm part of the movement that he belongs to, which he's made very clear.

00:35:47.200 And so that gets into the question of there's the morality of when someone says something bad, should you condemn it?

00:35:54.000 And I think that as a general matter, you can do a Winsome Sears did, right?

00:35:57.260 Winsome Sears is running against the attorney general candidate in Virginia.

00:36:00.360 She was asked about the Politico chat.

00:36:01.760 She says, yeah, that's bad.

00:36:02.760 Now you do Jay Jones, which seems to me like a pretty good answer and a good way of policing.

00:36:07.560 And then when it comes to the pragmatic, can I just find you were in the group chat.

00:36:11.800 Yeah, I mean, one more point on the I just want to make one more point here and then you can say whatever you want on the pragmatic side.

00:36:17.200 I fundamentally disagree with this idea that the reason that the right, quote unquote, loses is because we fragment while the left is unified.

00:36:23.820 The left is losing because it unified around its crazies. 0.97

00:36:27.280 Do not unify around your crazies. 1.00

00:36:29.700 Sure, the crazies can vote for you. 0.98

00:36:31.040 They can vote for your party.

00:36:32.060 You can't stop them from doing that.

00:36:33.260 It's a free country.

00:36:34.020 But that doesn't mean they should have like a decisive voice in the future of the movement.

00:36:38.460 Because if you do that, you end up with the trans movement running the Democratic Party and you lose from here to forever. 0.99

00:36:42.840 It's the Democratic solidarity that's destroying them, not the Democrats as a sort of fragmentary party.

00:36:48.080 Hang on, let me go to Drew in just a second.

00:36:50.120 I just want to respond to two things there.

00:36:52.180 And the first is, and I've heard this argument that, well, the left is losing because they failed to drive out the radical elements of their party.

00:37:01.760 I think there's a false premise there, though.

00:37:05.000 I don't think that's actually happening.

00:37:06.620 I think, you know, Mondani, one of the most radical political figures we've ever seen in this country, is about to be the mayor of our largest city.

00:37:13.420 Because there are no Republicans or moderates in New York, Matt.

00:37:15.500 I mean, Trump's been president twice.

00:37:17.100 And it was the trans issue that killed Kamala Harris in the last election because they won't stop doing the trans issue, which is the most extreme element of the party, including, obviously, you know, what happened to Charlie.

00:37:25.980 Yeah.

00:37:27.140 Yeah, and the trans issue was a big problem for her.

00:37:29.980 But that's also, that's another thing, too, is that when we talk about the sort of the, quote, unquote, radical elements of the right versus the radical elements of the left, these are not exactly the same thing.

00:37:41.320 The radical element of the left denies basic biological reality.

00:37:45.960 I mean, you're militating against, you know, these basic realities that we all understand.

00:37:52.720 And that's not happening on the right.

00:37:55.000 There is no equivalent of that, of someone saying that men can have babies.

00:37:59.400 Like, there's just no, there's no exact equivalent of that.

00:38:02.320 But the second point on the Politico article itself, okay, obviously, if somebody says something publicly and they've decided to announce it to the world, well, then that's fair game for anyone to disagree and anyone to say anything they want about it.

00:38:15.640 But with that in particular, I think that in almost every case, if you are speaking in private, you're having a private conversation and then somebody with obviously sinister intentions comes along and takes that private conversation and makes it public.

00:38:32.720 In almost every case, my position is, and this has always been my position, I don't care.

00:38:37.200 I'm not even paying attention to it.

00:38:38.800 Okay, I am not going to dignify that.

00:38:42.240 I'm not going to go along with it.

00:38:42.980 I'm not going to give you what you want.

00:38:44.420 I'm not going to reward that strategy.

00:38:47.680 And by the way, part of that's a principled stand on my part.

00:38:50.460 It's also, it's like a self-preservation thing.

00:38:53.200 I don't want people doing that to me.

00:38:54.940 I don't want people going through and revealing my private conversations.

00:38:57.940 Not because I'm saying those kinds of things, but because these are private conversations.

00:39:01.360 Now, there are exceptions to that.

00:39:02.980 One exception is if you're running for political office and you want to be the top law enforcement official in a state and you've said privately that you think that, you know, half of your state should die.

00:39:13.720 Well, that's one of those exceptions.

00:39:15.620 And I think probably in general, if you're running for political office, that's an exception.

00:39:19.320 There are things that become fair game that otherwise wouldn't be.

00:39:22.220 But outside of those exceptions, I just fundamentally disagree with the idea that we should give these people anything that they want or that we need to start now condemning things that were said in private, in conversations that had nothing to do with us.

00:39:40.340 We weren't involved.

00:39:41.300 We don't have the context.

00:39:43.020 They were not intended for any of us to even see in the first place.

00:39:47.400 And should we police that?

00:39:49.580 So I want to say no.

00:39:51.740 I want to say this.

00:39:53.400 First, I agree with everything that Matt is saying in its context, in the context that we're talking about.

00:39:58.380 I don't see why I should care about these people on a private chat.

00:40:01.580 I don't think private chats should be revealed.

00:40:03.500 And when the New York Times is spewing out perversion and racism at a level that is far, far beyond anything these people are saying and incitements to violence, 0.91

00:40:14.080 I don't see why a private chat compares to the New York Times and the crap that they turn out every day. 0.94

00:40:19.220 I also agree with Ben that nobody should be censored. 0.58

00:40:21.940 I don't want to censor absolutely anybody.

00:40:23.860 However, let me say this.

00:40:25.280 When J.D. Vance comes out and he condemns these people, and J.D. Vance is one of my favorite people in the administration.

00:40:30.980 He was my choice for vice president before Trump picked him.

00:40:33.780 I think he's doing a spectacular job.

00:40:36.180 He would have a lot more authority if he would stop hanging out with Tucker Carlson.

00:40:39.340 I guess it depends on what you mean by that exactly.

00:40:41.980 Because if you disagree with things that Tucker Carlson says, then no one is saying that you can't disagree with them.

00:40:49.720 You can't make your disagreement known.

00:40:51.880 You can't debate them.

00:40:53.280 Of course.

00:40:54.740 Of course you can do that.

00:40:55.560 But I don't agree with everything that Tucker says.

00:40:58.380 I don't agree with everything that anyone on the right says.

00:41:01.940 It's a different category, though.

00:41:03.640 It's a different category.

00:41:04.880 I mean, you and I disagree.

00:41:06.740 Ben and I disagree.

00:41:07.400 We're all talking about the same world that's actually happening.

00:41:11.140 You know, to say that Hamas—

00:41:12.760 Well, I think Tucker is talking about the same world.

00:41:16.740 Really?

00:41:17.700 Yeah.

00:41:18.000 I think he's got different views on the world than you do.

00:41:21.140 But if we're talking about standing up and saying, I disagree with that strenuously.

00:41:26.840 Here's why.

00:41:27.820 Well, then, yeah, absolutely.

00:41:29.360 If we're talking about—

00:41:30.900 I know you said you're not supporting censorship.

00:41:34.520 But if we're talking about sort of driving somebody out of the movement, alienating them, saying, you know, disowning them, that sort of thing, I absolutely, totally, very much disagree with that.

00:41:47.300 Well, Matt, you might disagree on that on Tucker.

00:41:49.380 I'm just asking—

00:41:49.760 The same as saying a man can become a woman.

00:41:52.220 It's just as crazy.

00:41:53.020 Well, hold on.

00:41:54.040 That's not as crazy.

00:41:55.520 Let's take Tucker off the table there for a second because, obviously, Tucker is a very fraught topic for a lot of people, myself included.

00:42:01.060 But I think that, you know, I guess the question for Matt is there are certain people who you would basically say don't belong in the movement.

00:42:07.580 And so the question, I think, for everybody, and I think this is one that we should openly discuss, I mean, if we're going to have these discussions, is who doesn't?

00:42:14.160 Like, who doesn't?

00:42:14.940 Well, I'll give you a takeaway on this that is obviously timely.

00:42:19.820 When Charlie was killed, you know, the guy did like 10 jobs.

00:42:23.780 I mean, it takes innumerable people to fill all the things he did.

00:42:27.060 The most valuable thing he did from a political coalition standpoint is he kept the coalition together, and his events were the events to go to, and his platform was really setting the agenda for the Republican Party.

00:42:40.100 And Charlie made a really important point to have a coalition in which he would not be pressured to get rid of Tucker, but he also wouldn't be pressured to get rid of people who hated Tucker or who Tucker hated or whoever, you know, where the various constituencies hated them.

00:42:53.800 But Charlie, furthermore, to your point, Ben, also drew a line.

00:42:57.620 There were plenty of people that were not permitted into TPUSA events.

00:43:01.040 And so he did this in, I think, an obviously very effective way, a way that did not fall into the perils of, you know, a movement becoming too extreme.

00:43:10.160 And I just wonder if there's not a lesson that we could take from that.

00:43:13.140 I mean, I think a good, here's a good rule of thumb about Charlie, by the way.

00:43:16.740 How about this? How about you probably don't belong in a leadership position, shall we say, in the conservative movement if you won't just buy into the basic factual idea that Charlie Kirk was murdered by a gay man who was a trans furry lover? 0.76

00:43:32.100 How about that?

00:43:32.780 If you spend your days fulminating about all the other things with regard to Charlie and speculate that he was murdered by other forces, that seems to me not connected with reality.

00:43:42.620 I mean, that's something that Erica has said, that's something TPUSA has said.

00:43:46.480 Like, that seems like a pretty good, easy rule of thumb, that if you're spending all your days doing that, if you even tangentially are doing that, it seems, if you're trying to divide them.

00:43:55.480 Matt, I thought that what you said when Charlie died was right.

00:43:58.300 You know, that one of Charlie's goals was to keep the movement together.

00:44:00.780 It's obviously something JD is trying to do.

00:44:02.320 He's trying to keep people in the room together.

00:44:03.620 I totally get it.

00:44:04.380 I've talked publicly about the fact that Tucker called me that day, two days after Charlie was shot and said, like, let's stop, let's stop fighting.

00:44:10.840 And I said, you know what, that sounds great to me.

00:44:12.360 That's fine.

00:44:12.820 I really don't want to be fighting with you because, obviously, we have other priorities.

00:44:16.340 In fact, I even offered Tucker that we should get on stage together and talk about the things that we agreed with.

00:44:20.440 He's yet to take me up on that offer.

00:44:21.980 But the bottom line here is that, you know, when it comes to where you set limits, limits at some point are going to have to be set.

00:44:29.040 And it seems to me that the move on the right is that because we don't like the left at all, because the left is bad, there must be no limit set.

00:44:35.480 And any attempt to set a limit is somehow firing inside the tent.

00:44:38.560 And what this actually leads to is many of the same people who are firing inside the tent, then turning around and claiming that you're violating the truce.

00:44:44.980 Because I'll tell you what, it's Nick Fuentes who's attacking Donald Trump on a regular basis.

00:44:49.720 It is Alex Jones who's attacking Donald Trump on a regular basis.

00:44:52.780 I mean, it is Tucker Carlson who's attacking Donald Trump on a fairly regular basis, actually.

00:44:56.880 And I think that the friendly fire should stop across the board.

00:45:02.140 And I've been very clear about that.

00:45:04.140 You mean the show.

00:45:04.780 There are just that you know, the show should stop.

00:45:08.020 But let me, because I'm, the two things.

00:45:11.420 Number one, yeah, just on your point, Ben, about who killed Charlie Kirk, I've been very clear about it.

00:45:17.840 This was clearly a leftist, this was leftist violence.

00:45:20.940 And we should stay focused on that.

00:45:22.720 I think we're letting them off the hook when we try to blame anybody else other than the left.

00:45:27.640 This was leftist violence for sure.

00:45:29.060 Does that mean that anyone who feels differently should be drummed out of the movement?

00:45:34.660 No, I don't think so.

00:45:35.560 And I also think that, you know, it's like we're not even in a position to decide, well, who should be a leader, who should have a platform, who should be, you know, who should be getting attention in this movement.

00:45:44.060 It's like, that's not up to us to decide anyway.

00:45:46.860 Well, let me just say, after Charlie died, a couple of days after Charlie died, I put out a tweet where I said that I want to call a truce.

00:46:01.220 I can only do it on my end.

00:46:02.180 I want to call a truce.

00:46:03.660 I want to extend an olive branch to everybody on my side, everybody on the right.

00:46:07.060 Okay, everybody to the right of Bill Maher, including him.

00:46:10.840 Not that I ever had really a beef with him, but I want to extend a truce because we are dealing with a threat.

00:46:18.980 We are dealing, Drew, you said it yourself.

00:46:20.580 These are people, like the political violence is on one side.

00:46:24.240 This is on one side.

00:46:25.240 There is one side that engages in political violence.

00:46:27.380 There is one side that, like, rejects the basic realities of life.

00:46:32.140 There's one side that's responsible for murdering 60 million babies in this country.

00:46:36.400 Okay, it's one side.

00:46:37.820 And so I think that for right now, maybe we'll get back to the arguments.

00:46:41.640 Maybe we'll get back to the infighting.

00:46:43.080 We'll get back to that in the future, I'm sure.

00:46:44.940 But for right now, I think we need to be unified against this threat, especially now, especially with the midterms coming up and the presidential election right after that.

00:46:52.720 The left, if they get back into control, they're going to be out for blood even more than they ever have been.

00:46:57.020 And so we need to be united against that together.

00:46:59.880 And that's what I said.

00:47:00.500 When I said that a couple days after Charlie's death, you know the response I got?

00:47:04.320 Almost every single comment I got was, yes, amen, absolutely, I'm with you.

00:47:09.580 Almost every single comment.

00:47:10.720 I said the exact same thing, the exact same thing, like two days ago.

00:47:14.000 And it's completely flipped.

00:47:15.880 Now, almost every single comment is, how could you say this?

00:47:18.180 I can't unite with them.

00:47:19.180 There's no way.

00:47:19.960 I can't do that.

00:47:20.760 And it's just, I haven't changed.

00:47:24.160 I'm still, what I'm saying is no different than what I said a month ago.

00:47:29.540 I haven't changed.

00:47:30.880 I don't think the situation has changed at all.

00:47:33.300 And I don't know why everything else has flipped.

00:47:36.180 Because I think if you take that to its full extent, it's crazy.

00:47:41.300 It works within a context.

00:47:43.300 But surely there is some kind of human decency level that you can cross where, no, you're not on my side.

00:47:49.880 I mean, I don't understand why if you support the, you know, the cat's paw of Iran where they sit around and chant death to America, what makes you a conservative? 1.00

00:47:58.880 What makes you a conservative that you say tough sounding things?

00:48:02.920 I mean, that you're talking to, you know, in a loud voice about, you know, the problems of the country.

00:48:07.040 You know, I don't know.

00:48:07.760 What makes you a conservative if you are in favor of a regime that, you know, used to have until Trump took it away, the capacity to actually hurt us?

00:48:16.320 You know, I don't understand the anti-Americanism.

00:48:19.460 I would say you're not on our side.

00:48:21.420 You're not a conservative if you are not interested in conserving and preserving and defending Western civilization.

00:48:28.380 And I guess the one point I'll give in, you know, in your favor, Drew and Ben, is that I do think that there are some people who claim to be conservatives who actually are not interested in conserving Western civilization at all.

00:48:42.140 And so if you don't want to conserve that, then, like, we're just not, we actually are fundamentally, because that's the thing I'm saying we need to unite to defend is Western civilization.

00:48:50.560 But when you say Western civilization, that has to mean something, right?

00:48:53.340 Yeah, so, right.

00:48:54.040 So, for example, in, you know, recently I've been talking about the Islamic takeover of Dearborn, and I've had people who I guess claim to be conservatives who are trying to tell me that actually this is a very good thing, that our country becomes Islamic. 1.00

00:49:07.360 And it's like, okay, we're clearly not on the same side.

00:49:11.640 You're trying to conserve Islamism, and that is not what I'm trying to conserve. 1.00

00:49:15.860 So, obviously, you get to a point where those, where it's like, yeah, like, lines are drawn.

00:49:21.980 And I think the line is that conserving and defending Western civilization, and anyone who's on board with that and wants to do that, I think we should work together.

00:49:32.840 But if someone says, I'm not interested, I don't want your olive branch, screw you, which I have gotten that response from a lot of people, well, then that's your choice, and we've got to go somewhere.

00:49:43.500 I just don't want us to make the decision, I don't want to make the decision on who's defending Western civilization according to popularity.

00:49:49.840 I don't think that's the right way to do this.

00:49:51.480 This has all been very fun.

00:49:53.160 I mean, truly, truly enjoyable.

00:49:55.160 But, Matt, I need you to talk to us about how you sleep at night.

00:49:58.880 Hold on, I got a better transition.

00:50:00.460 How do you sleep at night?

00:50:00.480 Let me do the transition.

00:50:01.320 I got a better one.

00:50:01.800 How the hell do you sleep at night?

00:50:02.580 I got a better one.

00:50:03.440 So, hey, you know, we've been talking about who it would be prudential for us to get in bed with politically.

00:50:09.180 Now, Matt, would you tell us about how you get into bed?

00:50:13.500 Well, that was a much better transition.

00:50:15.440 I don't know.

00:50:15.720 I thought Ben's was better, to be honest.

00:50:16.840 What?

00:50:17.260 I worked on that.

00:50:19.400 That whole segment.

00:50:20.880 Yeah.

00:50:21.500 Let me tell you about this.

00:50:24.400 I'm going to do it very organically.

00:50:27.000 This isn't even an ad read.

00:50:28.260 This is, there's no text here.

00:50:30.360 It's just prompts.

00:50:31.820 You guys are throwing this at me.

00:50:33.120 I don't usually get, I'm like remedial when it comes to, I'm remedial when it comes to ad reads.

00:50:37.800 So they always just give me exactly what they want me to say.

00:50:40.260 And now I'm looking at this.

00:50:41.240 It says, tell your audience about your experience with Helix mattresses.

00:50:45.380 Okay.

00:50:45.920 Well, okay, fine.

00:50:46.900 This doesn't, this doesn't, why do you even give me this paper?

00:50:48.860 It doesn't mean no good.

00:50:50.320 Look, the truth is I can, I can actually speak from the heart about Helix mattress because we got a Helix mattress about, I don't know, about three, when they first came on the show, like three years ago.

00:50:59.500 And I can honestly say, this is genuinely true, that prior to the Helix mattress, I, insomnia, like insomnia was something that I struggled with.

00:51:10.320 I had trouble sleeping.

00:51:11.380 And now ever since we got it, I sleep like a baby every single night until, until our kids wake us up at five o'clock in the morning.

00:51:18.360 But until that moment happens, I sleep very well.

00:51:21.500 I legitimately recommend this mattress to, to everybody.

00:51:25.100 And we believe in the Helix mattress so much that we have now gotten it for all of our kids.

00:51:30.920 All of our kids sleep on Helix mattresses as well.

00:51:33.760 It doesn't get any better.

00:51:34.800 And the thing is, you go in, you go to the Helix website, you take a quiz, and you can match the, you know, whatever your sleep preference is with the perfect mattress for you.

00:51:43.940 And I found that it works really well.

00:51:46.180 So you can visit helixsleep.com slash friendly fire to get 20% off site wide.

00:51:51.140 That's helixsleep.com slash friendly fire for 20% off site wide.

00:51:54.840 Make sure to enter our show name after checkout so they know we sent you helixsleep.com slash friendly fire.

00:52:00.660 Now, also, I do have to note that we did drop the merch of the decade to celebrate a decade of Daily Wire only at that Daily Wire shop.

00:52:08.660 We have Daily Wire shirts.

00:52:09.700 We have hats.

00:52:10.480 We have the only camo hoodie made specifically to stand out.

00:52:13.940 It's 10 years of truth printed, stitched, and ready to wear.

00:52:16.580 So head on over to dailywire.com slash shop right this instant.

00:52:20.580 Hey, that hat that Drew is wearing that covers up his bald spot, which is to say his hair head is in fact available over at that Daily Wire shop.

00:52:28.440 I'm usually kind of you to call it a bald spot.

00:52:31.580 I usually call it my head.

00:52:33.440 You know, the other thing that I really want to talk about is how the Gen Z is de-gayifying itself. 0.98

00:52:40.100 And for that, since we're all very old, we're going to bring on a bright, young, hot, zoomer, fresh and fit kind of talent.

00:52:46.920 But first, Ben, I want to go back to men of a certain age. 0.52

00:52:51.460 Do we have an update on Jordan?

00:52:53.540 We do.

00:52:54.320 So we have been talking with Michaela over at the Peterson household.

00:52:59.780 She's wonderful, obviously.

00:53:01.300 And Jordan is on the mend.

00:53:03.500 She did tell us, and we obviously agree, that it is worthwhile.

00:53:08.180 She wants him to be public, obviously.

00:53:10.760 She wants all of his messages to continue to be heard.

00:53:13.540 And so it's actually, I think, quite important what we are doing here at Daily Wire by ensuring that pretty much all your Jordan Peterson needs continue to be fulfilled,

00:53:22.020 that we actually get as much of his material out there as possible.

00:53:24.860 He is on the mend.

00:53:25.400 We're looking forward to seeing him back.

00:53:27.140 And all of us are praying for him and praying for his family right now.

00:53:30.860 So that's sort of the update at the moment.

00:53:33.760 What you already know is not sufficient to guide you into the future.

00:53:42.400 To negotiate properly, you have to know what you want.

00:53:45.420 So then you might ask, well, how do I know what I want?

00:53:48.160 If you take your problems seriously, the probability that you can carve out a path in life that will constitute a success will certainly increases.

00:53:58.760 You're going to encounter obstacles, some of which might be the size of dragons along the way.

00:54:06.380 You see what it would be like to care for someone.

00:54:10.360 You see what it would be like to have someone care for you and value you.

00:54:14.060 You have little kids for a very short period of time.

00:54:17.240 It is a major mistake not to notice that and not to appreciate it.

00:54:21.700 We're dealing with a pattern of misbehavior.

00:54:24.040 Our son, who's three years old.

00:54:25.300 When a disciplinary issue arises, you need to make space to master it.

00:54:31.640 You can make a bad situation good faster than you think and turn it into something better than you might imagine.

00:54:44.060 Ten years ago, my friends, the Daily Wire gave you a voice in the fight that no one else would take.

00:54:51.660 Fights that we could not have won without your support.

00:54:54.000 We sued the Biden administration, took it to the Supreme Court.

00:54:56.580 We won to stop the private mandate on the Fauci ouchie.

00:55:00.360 We exposed the Loudoun County school cover-up that the media tried to bury, which also advanced the movement to expose transgenderism that Mr. Matt Walsh had a little hand in, I think.

00:55:11.300 Two major hit movies, What is a Woman?

00:55:13.500 Am I Racist?

00:55:14.280 We gave Jordan V. Peterson a platform to make him uncancellable when the left tried to cancel him.

00:55:19.280 We took aim at DEI.

00:55:20.920 We're just getting started, folks, to celebrate ten years of the Daily Wire.

00:55:25.060 You can become a member during the deal of the decade, starting at $7 a month, which was the price when we started, long before Bidenflation, long before all of the wonkiness in the economy.

00:55:37.820 Seven bucks a month.

00:55:39.060 You can't get a half an egg for $7 right now, but you can get a Daily Wire membership.

00:55:45.140 Go to dailywire.com slash subscribe to join right now.

00:55:50.500 Speaking of psychiatric improvement, great news about Gen Z coming out of the UK. 1.00

00:55:55.440 There's a study that shows that queer identity is in freefall.

00:55:59.860 And it's a little bit unclear.

00:56:01.320 People are talking about it on Twitter, but they're saying that it means that the whole LGBT identity is collapsing.

00:56:07.180 That's not really clear from this study out of University of Buckingham.

00:56:11.480 What is very clear is that non-binary identity, genderqueer identity, has collapsed. 0.96

00:56:17.820 It peaked in the woke year of 2023, and it's just collapsed since then.

00:56:22.620 There is some indication, at least from the abstract of the study, that trans identity is also following that.

00:56:29.100 The L and the G seem to be actually pretty solid, but the rest of it is collapsing.

00:56:34.480 This does not really surprise me at all.

00:56:36.900 The reason is that the gods of the copybook headings just reassert themselves.

00:56:40.260 This is the central conservative consolation, is that reality will win on a long enough timescale.

00:56:45.240 I'm not even surprised that the non-binary part is leading the charge here, because the non-binary part is the most abstract version of the LGBT identity.

00:56:54.160 It's just this complete androgynous illusion, whereas the L and the G and the B and the T and all that is a little more visceral, 0.55

00:57:02.440 and it pertains more to sexual desire and all the rest.

00:57:04.760 So that's kind of harder to extirpate.

00:57:06.080 But in terms of the extreme version of these ideologies, it would seem as though they are on the precipice of being eradicated from public life entirely.

00:57:16.420 To help us understand this, we bring on our Gen Z correspondent and a new member of the Daily Wire family, Isabel Brown.

00:57:22.980 Hello, Isabel.

00:57:24.200 Hey, gang. How's it going?

00:57:25.620 I'll tell you, waiting in the wings the last few minutes was quite entertaining.

00:57:29.180 Isabel, I need to know, is your generation not gay anymore? 0.99

00:57:36.400 It's like a video, like, I'm not gay anymore.

00:57:38.300 Is that happening?

00:57:39.420 And if so, where are we going to get our interior designer?

00:57:41.620 I'll tell you people, I have been trying to warn the world that Gen Z, the kids were all right for a very long time. 1.00

00:57:48.060 Literally a year ago, a little over a year and a half ago, I should say, was laughed off set at every TV network, every radio station, every podcast,

00:57:56.060 when I presented my book that it was Gen Z that was going to save America, that no one wanted to be a lame gay chick like Disney wanted us to be in South Park so beautifully predicted. 0.94

00:58:07.820 The numbers, of course, needed some time to catch up, but I think the kids are going to be all right.

00:58:12.520 And none of this information out of this new study shocks me.

00:58:15.180 The idea of the cultural fad of the transgender cult, which is really what we've been seeing for a long time, has already been disillusioned thanks to people boldly speaking the truth. 1.00

00:58:25.740 I know you guys were mentioning Charlie just a few minutes ago when I spoke on campus at the first prayer vigil at the campus that he was scheduled to speak at next, my alma mater at Colorado State.

00:58:35.220 There was a young woman who came up to me, and I just think this is so indicative of the Gen Z story right now.

00:58:40.840 She said, I have to tell you something. And when she started speaking to me, I was a little wondering where she was falling on the political spectrum.

00:58:47.020 She gave extreme leftist vibes, but she pulled me aside and she said, I have to tell you something.

00:58:52.100 Charlie Kirk saved my life from gender ideology. I thought that I was non-binary.

00:58:56.580 I thought that I needed to castrate myself and take all of these puberty blockers and hormone affirming drugs.

00:59:01.920 I thought I was going to end my life at one point because of all of these lies, and only one person ever had the courage to tell me the truth that I am a woman and I was created on purpose to be a woman, and that was Charlie Kirk.

00:59:12.920 He wasn't mean about it. He was kind about it, but he let me have self-respect and ability to look in the mirror and love what I was seeing for the first time in my entire life.

00:59:21.800 And I think of all of the work that you guys have done for the past 10 years with The Daily Wire, the efforts of people like Charlie Kirk, because people were good enough to tell the truth to the next generation when everyone else was lying to them.

00:59:33.040 We are not gay anymore. That's the good news. 1.00

00:59:36.880 That sounds almost too hopeful. I want to turn to Matt because, Matt, you must be torn on this.

00:59:41.740 On the one hand, you've helped lead the charge against the Lavender Mafia, so I think you'll be inclined to claim a victory here. 1.00

00:59:49.000 On the other hand, you're profoundly doer and pessimistic and won't want to admit that things are getting better, and maybe they're not getting better.

00:59:56.140 So what is it? Are we not gay no more? 0.96

00:59:59.240 So my ego is battling my pessimism is what you're saying.

01:00:02.780 Yes, exactly.

01:00:03.440 What's going to win out?

01:00:05.780 I think that you're right that the study that you're talking about, it's a little bit, it's not quite as clear-cut, I think, as people want it to be,

01:00:16.040 because it is focused on this non-binary thing.

01:00:19.400 And I don't know that we can say that Gen Z isn't gay anymore. 0.99

01:00:23.780 I don't know that we have the evidence that it's becoming less gay. 0.68

01:00:26.480 I think all the evidence in fact is the other way, that Gen Z is a lot more gay than any other generation.

01:00:30.420 But I do think, based on this study and other studies and other data and just anecdotal observations from a lot of us, that the trans and non-binary thing, I think, is declining.

01:00:43.900 It's losing steam.

01:00:45.740 And that was inevitable.

01:00:47.740 And the reason why is because nobody ever really believed it to begin with.

01:00:53.720 The only way, I mean, transgenderism as a concept, as we all know, has been around for a long time, has been around for many decades.

01:00:59.860 It didn't explode onto the scene in this kind of mainstream way until about 10 years ago, 2015, 2016.

01:01:06.620 And the way that it was able to proliferate from there and seemingly take over an entire generation is by all the people who knew better not saying anything,

01:01:17.080 either because they wanted to be polite or because they were afraid of the backlash or because they thought ideologically that they had to be OK with this or some combination of the three.

01:01:26.800 And so that it wasn't that people had all these people had fallen into this trance.

01:01:31.020 It's that most people knew it was crazy and went along with it for those reasons.

01:01:36.280 A little bit like the masking.

01:01:37.700 It's like it's like masking.

01:01:39.460 You know, everyone went along with it.

01:01:40.680 Everybody was masking.

01:01:42.040 And we walked around for a couple of years thinking that it'll be like this forever.

01:01:45.080 And then am I ever going to be able to see another person's face in public ever again?

01:01:48.660 And then what do you know, within about like six months, no one's doing the mask anymore.

01:01:52.880 And the reason why is because most people wearing the mask, it's not because they actually thought they had to.

01:01:57.400 It's because they were just going along with it for those same reasons.

01:02:00.400 Political ideology, fear.

01:02:02.140 And I think it's the same thing with trans.

01:02:03.740 So now that that's done, like people aren't afraid anymore.

01:02:06.840 People are not afraid to say what they know is true on this issue.

01:02:11.040 And it was that that was the silence that was needed in order for this virus to take hold.

01:02:17.480 And so the environment isn't there anymore.

01:02:19.180 And so I'm not surprised that we're seeing this trend.

01:02:23.100 And I don't know if it's going to extend over to like homosexuality.

01:02:25.940 But I do think with trans and non-binary that it's on its way out. 1.00

01:02:29.580 Well, Drew, you were friends with Cole Porter.

01:02:31.540 Do you think that this is a longer scope trend or is it going to be just confined to the non-binary?

01:02:36.600 No, it's the longest scope.

01:02:37.520 First of all, I want to agree with Isabel that I think her generation will actually save the world.

01:02:42.760 Every single one of them I met, they are not the way the two generations between the boomers and them are. 0.94

01:02:50.900 They aren't hostile.

01:02:52.420 The women dress like women. 1.00

01:02:54.360 The men look perfectly comfortable being men.

01:02:56.760 They don't radiate the kind of hostility that I get from the people who are around like 50.

01:03:01.660 You know, it's just that somehow feminism, I think, seems to have lost its grip on them. 0.91

01:03:07.140 And they seem just much more comfortable in their skins.

01:03:09.440 And so I'm very hopeful.

01:03:10.460 What I read in this study, because I agree, it's a little amorphous.

01:03:15.220 But first of all, a lot of it is coeval with the pandemic.

01:03:18.840 So people are locked away.

01:03:20.340 They're told that they stink if they tell the truth.

01:03:22.700 They're told they're mean if they, you know, don't lie about where the virus comes from, how the virus is cured, what is working, what's not working. 0.97

01:03:29.620 They go nuts.

01:03:30.220 People went nuts. 1.00

01:03:31.260 And the thing about transgenderism is it is a mental illness. 1.00

01:03:35.100 Being homosexual is not necessarily a mental illness. 0.99

01:03:37.620 If you define a mental illness as believing things that simply are not the case, then believing that you're a woman when you're a man is a mental illness by definition. 0.86

01:03:47.200 But if you're a man attracted to men, then that's who you actually are.

01:03:51.140 So it may be a problem, but it's not a mental illness.

01:03:53.680 And so I think that the mental illness wave that was caused by the pandemic is receding.

01:04:00.560 I think the way the mental illness wave expressed itself was because of what Matt was talking about, this induced mental illness of believing what the left is saying and their incredible domination, which we finally broke, of the means of communication.

01:04:13.900 So if you own the academies, if you own the news media, if you own Hollywood, then it feels like everybody is telling you that you must be the wrong sex.

01:04:23.140 And that had an effect.

01:04:24.840 It had a real effect.

01:04:25.720 And I think that grip has been broken as well.

01:04:28.600 So, yeah, I'm pretty hopeful.

01:04:30.260 I think the thing about being gay is that it's not a choice.

01:04:33.100 I think people are born gay, but I think it can be a choice.

01:04:36.380 I think people can, you know, experiment with it and dabble in it.

01:04:40.320 And I think there's been a lot of that.

01:04:41.620 And I think that will recede to what I want to see is more babies.

01:04:45.080 That's the thing I want to see.

01:04:46.160 And there's only, you know, right now there's only one way to make them.

01:04:48.360 And when there is another way, it's going to be bad.

01:04:50.280 So I think I would like to see more people just making and taking care of babies.

01:04:53.940 I can't take all this optimism.

01:04:55.240 It's making me a little nauseous.

01:04:57.260 I'm surprised you didn't shrivel away.

01:04:58.960 I just, I can't.

01:04:59.880 I can't, guys.

01:05:00.540 Like, I can't.

01:05:01.180 It's late at night where I am, and I've had it.

01:05:03.820 We're way too deep into the show for this much optimism.

01:05:06.140 So let me explain for the pessimists in the crowd why all this is happening.

01:05:10.880 The reason that this is happening is actually a good reason, but that is that trans was the ultimate victimhood status. 1.00

01:05:16.060 And people are constantly seeking the ultimate victimhood status because it allows you to get away with literally anything, including forcing 99.99% of the rest of humanity to redefine reality in coordination with your ideas of yourself, which is like the greatest thing in the world from a particular perspective.

01:05:32.500 It's actually quite bad for you, but from the perspective of getting one up on literally all of the rest of humanity, if you earn that incredible victimhood status that applied to trans people for like three or four years or 10 years in the United States, that's like a great place to be. 0.97

01:05:45.840 And then the victimhood status went away because of things like what Matt did and what we did, obviously, here at Daily Wire over the course of the last 10 years.

01:05:52.280 Insanity reasserted itself, and you're no longer considered an inherent victim because you're a man who claims to be a woman or the opposite. 0.53

01:05:58.580 In fact, in some cases, you may, in fact, be an aggressor, as we have seen repeatedly from time to time.

01:06:04.560 I think that non-binary is sort of the same thing.

01:06:07.100 Like people just saw through it.

01:06:07.940 That's not a victimhood status.

01:06:09.000 Like non-binary is just you being weird. 1.00

01:06:10.960 Like you're just saying that you don't have a sex. 0.99

01:06:13.000 That's just silly. 0.99

01:06:14.060 And I think the next one to go is bisexuality. 1.00

01:06:15.840 It's going to go in reverse order.

01:06:17.340 Bisexuality is usually just either straight people pretending to be gay or gay people pretending to be straight.

01:06:22.860 The sort of bisexuality thing is likely to go. 0.94

01:06:25.420 In fact, that's what the stats show is a huge number of people who identify as bisexual actually are just heterosexual.

01:06:30.760 Like they've only had partners who are heterosexual paired in the last year or two years or five years but call themselves bisexual because it's based on your level of self-identification.

01:06:41.980 The reason I'm pessimistic about Gen Z, aside from the statistics, is the fact that Gen Z, if they lose the victimhood status in terms of sexual relations, which is really what's happened, is that we were in a period where the next victimhood class was not race. 0.97

01:06:55.780 The next victimhood class was sex.

01:06:57.220 And that has gone away because, frankly, it got boring and no one cared and there's nothing more to transgress.

01:07:02.960 Everything had been transgressed up to and including whether men and women exist.

01:07:06.240 And so what's the next victimhood status?

01:07:07.820 I think the next place that the young people will go for their victimhood status is economic victimhood.

01:07:12.360 So I'm optimistic that young people are going to move away from some of the crazier I'm sexually identifying as a cat routine.

01:07:21.640 But I think they are going to increasingly identify as somehow economically dispossessed and then call for massive government interventionism, which is mostly what the Mamdani moment is about. 0.87

01:07:30.540 So and that, by the way, is what you're seeing in the polls for young people.

01:07:33.920 Young people are increasingly hot on socialism and communism. 0.78

01:07:36.640 They're increasingly hot on massive government interventionism.

01:07:39.440 They don't really like capitalism very much.

01:07:41.320 And so I think that the next sort of victimhood status is going to go back to classic Marxist victimhood status, which is if you are poor or if you just can't get an affordable apartment in New York, it must be because the victim, the system is somehow screwing you.

01:07:52.720 Ben, you know what you can also get?

01:07:54.320 So first of all, Isabel, wonderful to have you with us.

01:07:57.360 Congratulations on the show launch, the Isabel Brown Show.

01:08:00.960 How many weeks in is it?

01:08:02.660 I think we're on our sixth week, but honestly, we launched two days before Charlie was killed.

01:08:06.920 So everything just feels like a fever dream in the last several weeks.

01:08:11.060 It's felt like it's been on for one day.

01:08:14.000 Yes, everybody should go watch it.

01:08:16.020 Isabel, always wonderful to see you. 0.95

01:08:18.300 Without question, beautify the room with these disgusting masks. 1.00

01:08:22.020 That's damning you with faint praise. 0.93

01:08:23.780 Also, by the way, and then some, and then a lot of some, actually.

01:08:27.800 Also, by the way, Ben, you were saying people are all going to be broke under communism, whatever, you know, and they're going to have this economic class warfare.

01:08:34.240 Well, even if you're completely destitute, I've got such a great deal for you to also keep up your health, and that is balance of nature.

01:08:42.120 Drew, I know you're looking bad, and so I decided I brought these here, and I wanted to give these to you.

01:08:50.300 I wanted to give you some balance of nature.

01:08:53.540 Give me some balance of nature.

01:08:54.840 Oh, my goodness.

01:08:56.040 That's amazing.

01:08:57.140 That's a knolls.

01:08:58.260 You actually accomplished something.

01:08:59.840 You're supposed to fall.

01:09:01.200 I take these.

01:09:02.340 You know, it used to be.

01:09:03.720 I grew up eating mostly mammoths, and so I need a lot of energy and a lot of nutrition, and this is the easy way to get it.

01:09:12.140 You don't have to have a spear.

01:09:13.380 You don't have to make those, you know, arrowheads out of rocks and stuff like that.

01:09:16.960 You just actually take these capsules, and you get all the fruits and veggies that you need packed in to these little capsules, and you get a red and green, so it looks a little Christmassy.

01:09:26.160 If I had known, if I had prepared for the show for even five seconds, I would have taken off this easy-to-pull-off strip, which I can pull off, and I would be able to open this up and show them to you, but I can.

01:09:37.840 I can only show you the pictures of fruits and veggies on them, and they're absolutely terrific, and they make you feel terrific.

01:09:42.680 Well, once your body's feeling all good, and you're living in this terrestrial world of flesh and blood, then you can go right back into the digital realm, because the Daily Wire app is better than ever.

01:10:52.740 Available everywhere you watch.

01:10:54.560 Well, after all of that pessimism about Gen Z, I'm going to give you a place where optimism blooms, the Middle East.

01:11:03.000 But actually, I actually am quite optimistic about the Middle East, believe it or not, right now.

01:11:07.120 And that's because we have a president named Donald J. Trump.

01:11:10.340 And I've said since term one that the most successful element of Donald Trump's presidency has been his handling of the Middle East.

01:11:16.500 If you can actually make deals happen in the Middle East, that's an extraordinary thing.

01:11:19.460 And Donald Trump has been the only person in my lifetime who truly has made deals happen in the Middle East.

01:11:25.220 So I was actually in the Israeli parliament, in the Knesset, at the invitation of the Embassy of the United States, Mike Huckabee, for the speech that President Trump gave.

01:11:34.520 And it was just fabulous.

01:11:36.120 It was just so wildly enjoyable.

01:11:38.040 So first of all, I think you have to understand that the situation on the ground in Israel, the number of just the overwhelming population, their desire, their need for these 20 live hostages were held in terror tunnels for two years to come home was extraordinary.

01:11:52.980 I mean, just it bled out on the streets.

01:11:54.680 If you walk around the streets of any city in Israel and much of the country, you will see pictures of the hostages.

01:11:59.780 And they've been up for two years.

01:12:00.560 And so the fact that they actually came home on a split screen, President Trump is talking in the Knesset while these people are coming home to their families at the same exact time.

01:12:08.200 And the president was able to somehow get the entire world on board with a demand that Hamas give up these live hostages and that Israel not have to give up its security position in the Gaza Strip.

01:12:18.740 Israel retains control over some 53 percent of the Gaza Strip and still has some security oversight of enormous amount of the rest of the Gaza Strip.

01:12:26.060 By the way, all the same people who are very, very upset about, quote unquote, genocide in the Gaza Strip seem to care not one whit that since Israel has pulled back a little bit, Hamas is legitimately just pulling people out of their homes and shooting them dead in the middle of the street by the hundreds, apparently, in the Gaza Strip.

01:12:38.840 But Trump's speech was just spectacular.

01:12:41.700 And the amount of enjoyment in the room, I mean, Trump was going long.

01:12:44.780 He was riffing.

01:12:45.820 He was he was making jokes and people were people were keeling over.

01:12:49.260 I mean, it was so funny.

01:12:50.780 It was so good and so funny.

01:12:52.200 And, you know, we're all used to hearing President Trump do this routine because he's done it for years and years in the United States.

01:12:57.660 But but the fact that he was able to, you know, come to the Middle East, bring people together who legitimately, you know, all these countries don't believe in Israel's existence.

01:13:05.860 Technically, that he was able to actually bring all those people together and get live hostages out is an extraordinary accomplishment.

01:13:12.440 It can only happen because Donald Trump's real estate skills from New York somehow map exactly and directly onto the Middle East in a very bizarre way.

01:13:21.040 He just got rid of all the State Department conventional wisdom. 0.99

01:13:23.280 That's a bunch of horseshit. 0.94

01:13:24.260 And he just did the thing that he did in rooms in New York for legitimately decades. 0.99

01:13:28.640 And it worked.

01:13:29.480 I have two just two things I want to say.

01:13:31.720 When I was I was watching the whole thing on TV and, you know, obviously great joy over the release of the hostages.

01:13:37.700 But when I saw Donald Trump in Egypt and the leaders of the Middle East are arrayed behind him, the leaders of Europe arrayed behind him, all I could think was, holy crap, the guy has actually made America great again.

01:13:50.080 It has been since Reagan that we have seen America take that kind of aggressive leadership, which also is a statement of manly governance, which I love.

01:13:59.520 And finally, his statement is the open talk about God.

01:14:03.920 I remember when we started The Daily Wire, you and I used to argue about whether we could use God as a as a reason when we put forward our ideas.

01:14:12.240 And I kept saying we have that is the reason we believe the things we believe in.

01:14:16.340 And without God, everything the left says makes sense.

01:14:19.260 And I am so thrilled to see God back in the public square because I think he is he is the reason we say the things we say.

01:14:25.640 And the only other thing I want to say about this is how how tough is Bibi Netanyahu that Donald Trump is the good cop?

01:14:34.540 That's an amazing thing.

01:14:36.320 Donald Trump comes into the interrogation room and says to Hamas, you know, you want to talk to me?

01:14:40.880 I can help you, but you don't want him.

01:14:42.900 Yeah, Netanyahu's outside going, let me out. 0.57

01:14:44.940 I'll tear those people.

01:14:46.040 OK, we'll talk to Trump.

01:14:47.500 You got to be a fairly tough guy to make Donald Trump the good cop.

01:14:50.300 And I think all all credit to Netanyahu for doing that. 0.66

01:14:54.480 Knowles, have you thoughts on this?

01:14:56.040 I do.

01:14:56.520 I have a political thought on it, which is one.

01:14:58.760 Obviously, it's great.

01:14:59.520 We want peace in the region for the purposes of justice.

01:15:01.640 But it is an American concerned about American politics.

01:15:05.020 I don't want Israel to be an issue that creates problems for us.

01:15:09.600 And there have been plenty of people on the left, I guess, and also on the right who have tried to make Israel this issue that threatens the right wing coalition.

01:15:16.900 And so the thing I really love about Trump getting this piece is, one, he was negotiating past the sale the whole time.

01:15:24.300 He was saying, you know, hey, guys, I really hope we get a piece because otherwise I'm going to ship all the Palestinians out and I'm going to build a casino in Gaza or something. 1.00

01:15:30.940 So he was able.

01:15:31.960 And at the time, you had all these ninnies who were screaming and whining. 1.00

01:15:34.880 I said, he's doing what he always does.

01:15:36.360 He's negotiating.

01:15:37.200 And I think he has such a good track record at this point.

01:15:39.880 I trust him to do it.

01:15:40.820 I'm going to let the guy cook.

01:15:41.740 But even more than that, I just think there are people who have all sorts of views on Israel, Palestine, whether or not America should be involved in the Middle East or to what degree we should be involved.

01:15:50.420 And to me, the big win for conservatives and Republicans here is not for exactly one niche view over another to win out, but for this issue to reduce in importance.

01:16:01.460 And that was obviously always going to happen after the war ended, after some kind of peace was achieved, if peace could be achieved, so that we could focus on the issues that are of greater importance to Americans and that are bigger winners for the Republican Party.

01:16:15.580 You know, if the Democrats were able to do this on trans, for instance, you know, where some of the Democrats realize that trans is nuts, but some of the Democrats are just totally bought in on it.

01:16:24.620 There's really no way for them to win that with their base and the general public.

01:16:27.640 So the only way they win is for that issue to just kind of drop down a little bit in importance.

01:16:32.140 And I think that's what's probably going to happen here.

01:16:34.580 And now we can focus on the things that people really, really care about.

01:16:38.460 You know, the economy, immigration, all the rest.

01:16:40.440 And even in terms of foreign policy, I don't know, I guess we're zapping boats in Venezuela now.

01:16:44.420 To me, it's a big win, not only for global justice, but just domestically, politically.

01:16:49.260 Trump just keeps throwing W's on board.

01:16:51.200 Can I actually jump in?

01:16:53.400 I just want to say I agree with that.

01:16:57.380 I totally disagree with it.

01:16:59.420 I have to say that people, Israel is very popular.

01:17:03.120 We need them as an ally in the Middle East.

01:17:05.120 They're a good ally.

01:17:06.060 They're the only army that can extend its power outside of its country, except for Turkey.

01:17:11.780 And they're much better friends.

01:17:13.300 And that means we can turn our defensive attention to the East, which is what we have to do. 0.79

01:17:17.520 Well, I mean, actually, I agree with Knowles that actually this issue going away as a top issue is definitely good

01:17:22.540 for the country because the media had retailed such an enormous pack of lies about this and TikTok and all the rest of it.

01:17:30.000 It was extraordinarily polarizing.

01:17:31.760 But I think that it only is a good thing if it ends with an Israeli victory. 0.97

01:17:35.520 If it ends with Hamas somehow winning a victory, that's a horrible thing for the United States because it's a terrorist group.

01:17:40.600 It's a bad thing for the West because it's a terrorist group.

01:17:42.640 If Iran extends its sphere of influence, that's a very bad thing. 1.00

01:17:46.080 Now you have a bunch of countries that, again, have very little in common except opposition to Iranian terrorist groups

01:17:52.080 and hopefully a willingness to grow economically now attempting to work together.

01:17:56.940 That's a massive victory.

01:17:57.880 So it's not just that it's off the front pages.

01:17:59.580 Obviously, that's a good thing.

01:18:00.680 But also that it's off the front pages in precisely the right way, which is the really – that's the thing.

01:18:05.400 Anybody could have gotten a bad deal perhaps, but it actually took President Trump to get a very, very shockingly good deal.

01:18:12.300 And that's a truly amazing thing.

01:18:13.960 Now speaking of something kind of amazing.

01:18:16.740 So we are going to actually be bringing out in the near future, in the near future, Pendragon.

01:18:23.700 So you've heard a lot about this over the course of the last couple of years.

01:18:26.920 It is the most ambitious TV project ever done by an independent studio.

01:18:30.200 I don't think there's any question about this.

01:18:32.560 It looks beautiful.

01:18:33.560 It really looks – you're going to see some of it in a moment.

01:18:36.000 We're going to show you the trailer for Pendragon in a moment.

01:18:37.980 You should just understand that we are a company that tries to do ambitious, ambitious, big things,

01:18:43.700 that tries to make a difference in the culture, and I think you're going to love it.

01:18:46.980 Here is Jeremy Boring presenting the trailer to you.

01:18:50.960 Thanks, fellas, and congratulations on 10 incredible years.

01:18:54.640 You know, it's humbling to see the little company that started in your garage grow into the dominant conservative new media organization in the country

01:19:01.880 and to deploy more than a billion dollars in the fight for our nation and our culture.

01:19:06.060 It's a lot for 10 years.

01:19:07.700 From the biggest and most important political podcast of the last decade, The Ben Shapiro Show,

01:19:11.880 to the biggest and most important documentaries of the last decade, Am I Racist and What is a Woman?

01:19:16.000 From the depth and beauty of Jordan Peterson's Exodus series to the wit and wisdom of Andrew Klavan to whatever it is that Michael Knowles does.

01:19:23.920 It's been the honor of a lifetime to be in this fight with you guys and with the hundreds of employees who have given their best to our cause.

01:19:29.460 It wasn't always easy.

01:19:30.360 From partnering with Dallas Sonnier on movies like Run, Hide, Fight, to launching a chocolate company in a single day,

01:19:36.200 to creating our own children's entertainment platform, we've never been afraid to take big risks.

01:19:40.860 We've punched way above our weight.

01:19:43.020 Hearts have been changed.

01:19:44.080 Laws have been changed.

01:19:45.580 Children's lives and bodies have been saved.

01:19:47.920 Elections have been won.

01:19:49.400 We've even gotten to help people on their journey to find God and restore their marriages, improve their lives.

01:19:54.460 It's been quite a privilege.

01:19:56.380 But I always come back to the audience.

01:19:58.020 You guys listen to the shows.

01:20:00.060 You watch the videos.

01:20:01.360 You share the memes.

01:20:02.340 You buy the razors and the cigars.

01:20:04.520 You support our advertisers.

01:20:05.940 You subscribe.

01:20:07.500 You've been the real changemakers these last 10 years.

01:20:10.680 Thank you.

01:20:12.460 There's more to say, of course, and more people to thank, but a company can't run on nostalgia alone.

01:20:17.540 The Daily Wire has always been about fighting the left and building the future.

01:20:21.200 So tonight I want to give you a glimpse of what's next.

01:20:23.220 It's the culmination of years of effort to build culture, not just to criticize it.

01:20:28.020 It's the biggest, most ambitious project in the company's history, and it's finally coming to Daily Wire Plus this January.

01:20:35.280 Please enjoy the world premiere of the first trailer for the Pendragon cycle, Rise of the Merlin.

01:20:41.240 This land is in a welter of confusion.

01:20:49.080 There are more kings than sheep, more princes than crones on a battlefield.

01:21:01.880 All seeking to snatch what they can, when they can, without a care for who suffers.

01:21:08.880 Until this island is ruled by one who wields both justice and mercy, there will be no peace.

01:21:21.940 Yes!

01:21:22.860 Yes!

01:21:25.360 A

01:21:34.020 Yes!

01:21:35.320 Oh! 0.60

01:21:40.320 Oh! 0.60

01:21:42.100 Oh! 0.60

01:21:43.320 Oh! 0.60

01:21:44.460 Oh! 0.60

01:21:44.620 Oh! 0.60

01:21:45.540 Oh! 0.60

01:21:45.760 Oh! 0.60

01:21:46.720 Oh! 0.60

01:21:47.180 Oh! 0.60

01:21:47.220 Oh! 0.60

01:21:47.540 Oh! 0.60

01:21:47.660 Oh! 0.60

01:21:48.060 Oh! 0.60

01:21:48.220 Oh! 0.60

01:21:48.480 Oh! 0.60

01:21:48.600 Oh! 0.60

01:21:49.100 Oh! 0.60

01:21:49.160 Oh! 0.60

01:21:50.140 Oh! 0.60

01:21:50.680 Oh! 0.60

01:21:52.060 Look at them.

01:21:53.060 Boys playing the game of kings.

01:21:56.060 They say they have the Merlin with them.

01:22:06.060 The Merlin died long before you and I were born.

01:22:12.060 I've seen what you can do.

01:22:21.060 No!

01:22:36.060 This is where it begins.

01:22:51.060 Well, I mean, if that doesn't look like a blockbuster to you, I don't know what does.

01:23:04.060 I don't want to take too much credit because it looks great.

01:23:06.060 I don't want to take too much credit, but I do want to say that I did most of the stunts.

01:23:10.060 That's true.

01:23:11.060 You know, the other thing watching it is it kind of reminds you, this is the thing that sets us apart.

01:23:17.060 You know, this is like kind of what the whole thing has been about, is making culture.

01:23:21.060 And it's just so, it's so preposterously ambitious and big and beautiful.

01:23:28.060 I'm very excited.

01:23:30.060 Again, then this company started in Jeremy's pool house.

01:23:33.060 And so, you know, we can't thank you enough.

01:23:36.060 The people who have made this possible, our subscribers, our All Access members, all the people who watch our shows and all the rest.

01:23:42.060 Because honestly, without you, we don't get to make things like that and try and change the culture and try and change the world by changing the culture,

01:23:48.060 which is something we've done over and over with Matt's movies and with the other movies we've made.

01:23:52.060 And then with this brand new, massive, I think, incredible series from Jeremy, the Pendragon Cycle.

01:23:58.060 Now, as you know, earlier tonight, we officially announced our new Daily Wire lifetime memberships.

01:24:03.060 A limited tier of 10,000 lifetime All Access members.

01:24:06.060 That's it.

01:24:07.060 10,000, 10,000 only who will have every All Access benefit for the rest of your life.

01:24:13.060 Well, actually, 5,000 of them have already been claimed.

01:24:16.060 And so, you know, I'm just saying like you probably should do it now because otherwise they just won't be available to you.

01:24:22.060 Stand with us for the next decade.

01:24:24.060 Because if you think what we've done over the past decade is amazing, wait until you see what we have planned for the next decade.

01:24:30.060 Become the backbone of a movement to build the future and ensure that the best is yet to come.

01:24:33.060 Not just for this company, obviously, but for the country.

01:24:36.060 Claim one of those 10,000 lifetime memberships.

01:24:38.060 Well, now it's like 5,000 lifetime memberships, actually.

01:24:41.060 As well as your gold Daily Wire forward flag.

01:24:43.060 Remember this thing?

01:24:44.060 Yes.

01:24:45.060 This beautiful pin.

01:24:46.060 This can be yours.

01:24:47.060 You can flaunt it.

01:24:48.060 You can flaunt it to all of your friends and compatriots.

01:24:52.060 It's exclusively available as a gift to lifetime members at dailywire.com slash lifetime.

01:24:57.060 We can't wait to see you there.

01:24:58.060 Guys, that was a blast.

01:25:00.060 Should we ever do this again?

01:25:02.060 No.

01:25:03.060 Absolutely not.

01:25:04.060 All right.

01:25:05.060 Well, see you in two weeks.

01:25:06.060 This is Friendly Fire.

01:25:08.060 Catch you next time.

01:25:09.060 There's a reason you're seeing this message.

01:25:11.060 It's intentional.

01:25:12.060 Because this moment is different.

01:25:13.060 It's both a thank you and also an invitation.

01:25:15.060 Thank you for choosing courage over fear.

01:25:17.060 Thank you for standing when silence would have definitely been easier.

01:25:20.060 And thank you for believing in a brighter future.

01:25:22.060 For the past decade, you've stood with us.

01:25:24.060 You helped us fight government overreach, defend the silent majority, and expose the lies of the establishment media.

01:25:30.060 You joined us as we challenged the left's lunacy through culture-shaping documentaries, the challenge, the new status quo, fearless journalism, and yes, podcast that became too loud to silence because of your support.

01:25:40.060 Let's be clear.

01:25:41.060 None of it happens without you.

01:25:43.060 We became the fight.

01:25:44.060 The left never expected to show up, and they certainly didn't expect us to win.

01:25:47.060 And now, as we launch the next decade of The Daily Wire, we're offering something we've never offered before, a lifetime all-access membership.

01:25:54.060 It's more than exclusive access. It's a belief in the power of this movement to direct the course of our nation and to light the way during dark times.

01:26:03.060 This movement isn't temporary, neither is your membership, because what we're building isn't just media, it's a legacy, a voice that cannot be canceled, erased, or ignored.

01:26:12.060 It's your chance to lock arms with us, not just for today, but for decades to come.

01:26:17.060 Lifetime members enjoy every feature and benefit of Daily Wire All Access with no renewal fees ever.

01:26:22.060 As all access expands, every new benefit is yours automatically for life.

01:26:26.060 You'll be first to know what's coming next.

01:26:27.060 With early access to announcements and releases, you'll skip the line with priority customer support.

01:26:32.060 And, of course, you'll be invited to help shape the future of Daily Wire itself.

01:26:36.060 And you'll carry the DW Ford flag pin, accented in 14-karat gold, a symbol reserved only for lifetime members.

01:26:43.060 Plus, a signed first edition of my brand new book, Lions and Scavengers.

01:26:46.060 This isn't for the casually curious, it's for the people who are committed.

01:26:50.060 The 10,000 who will mark this moment and carry it forward.

01:26:53.060 For 10 years, you stood with us, you shaped this first decade.

01:26:56.060 Now let's build the next one together.

01:26:58.060 Definitely life.

01:26:59.060 Bye!

01:27:01.060 See you next time.

01:27:04.060 Bye!

01:27:07.060 Bye!

01:27:09.060 Bye!

01:27:14.060 Bye!
