00:00:19.680It is an issue that just started with Elon and yet Elon seems to be the only person
00:00:23.980that has been able to make mainstream politicians actually pay attention.
00:00:27.400Five years old when my abuse started, the experience of myself and the experience of countless other girls was that we were at fault for the abuse that we suffered.
00:00:35.920Every number that is being thrown around was to minimise the scale of abuse.
00:00:40.080Because again, the people that are releasing the data are the same people who failed to protect those little girls.
00:00:45.660It has been allowed to happen for so long because those in power were too scared of being called racist.
00:00:50.480Keir Starmer himself branded every person who is speaking out about this essentially a far-right bandwagon jumper.
00:00:56.960There's no conspiracy because it's the truth. It's out there in the open.
00:01:05.200Samantha Smith, welcome to my podcast.
00:06:39.600I also thought it would be helpful for people to know how these gangs go about grooming girls so that maybe parents, because if it isn't eliminate, it should be eliminated now.
00:06:54.100But if it's not, people should at least be aware of how this starts and how to potentially prevent it or how to know that you're being targeted to be groomed.
00:07:02.640So can we get into that? Like, what's the pattern? What do these people do to kind of entice these girls or pressure them or whatever's happening? Is there a pattern that these people use?
00:07:13.560Absolutely. And let me let me be clear. I don't know, like you said, what YouTube will flag. So please do let me know if I need to change up my language or anything like that.
00:07:22.620But it is still going on in Britain. It is still happening. I see it on council states in my hometown. Other victims and survivors and those investigating this and who aren't turning a blind eye see it every day. We know that it's going on.
00:07:41.460girls are coming forward that are as young as 13 14 today not in the 1980s not in the early 2000s
00:07:47.860today children today are coming forward and saying i am being sexually exploited by pakistani muslim
00:07:54.180men and that is a fact that's an unavoidable fact there is a pattern there is a process and a very
00:08:02.480clear methodology by which these gangs target young girls many victims of pakistani grooming gangs
00:08:09.540will be between the ages of 11 and 15 although it can be older or younger i there are girls who
00:08:16.560were first targeted when they were 16 17 um and it is across age age ranges it's across
00:08:25.380um social classes although again the majority are white working class girls there are cases where
00:08:31.800um asian girls or african origin british girls have also been targeted but the the the most
00:08:39.560common victim is a white working class girl and that's what we saw in telford oldham brother and
00:08:44.800rochdale these men will target most of the time vulnerable girls girls who are already known to
00:08:51.020social service who may be under local authority care who have been abused before whether that's
00:08:55.120by a family member or a trusted adult who already have blurred boundaries and and a weaker
00:09:02.380understanding of what is okay for adults to do to them myself for example I was abused from the age
00:09:08.340of six and that set up my grooming later on in life as a teenager because I didn't understand
00:09:15.020that the abuse that I had suffered wasn't normal and wasn't okay I had been taught that these
00:09:22.180men had a right to my body in a way that that no adult man ever should over a child and so
00:09:28.320they target the most vulnerable girls in society and they
00:09:32.440whether it's offering them money or drugs or alcohol or food or just love and attention the
00:09:40.980boyfriend model was a very popular one uh in in pakistani muslim grooming gangs for example where
00:09:47.520the girls would refer to their abusers as their boyfriend they would say well i've got these
00:09:52.000boyfriends they take care of me they do these incidents okay because they're my boyfriend
00:09:55.660but that isn't the only way that that that this happens it can be men who as I said take advantage
00:10:02.080of vulnerability who feed them clothe them take them places and groom them which is why they're
00:10:08.500called grooming gangs and why I'm so firm on referring to them as grooming gangs because they
00:10:13.280groom young girls they draw them in they make them feel safe and wanted and loved and as though they
00:10:20.060they can trust these men and then that's when they introduce them to the sexual abuse it often
00:10:25.480starts with just just the main abuser the the ringleader or or one member of the cell and they
00:10:32.900will sexually abuse them rape them and then introduce them to their friends or their family
00:10:37.580members their uncles their their dads and say well you have to do this for my dad and my uncle as well
00:10:44.080because you did it to you did it for me or you know he's going to pay you for this or you know
00:10:51.040i i expect you to do this otherwise i'm going to i'm going to break up with you i'm going to0.78
00:10:55.780harm your family or whatever it is that they can leverage at that point once the girls are once
00:11:02.240victims are under their control and scared of them and and fear losing them or fear what they
00:11:08.420might do to them if they do try and leave that's when the wider group-based abuse starts and that's
00:11:15.960how again girls for long periods of time are able to be abused by multiple by multiple offenders
00:11:23.540because it it balloons it expands it comes from from one person in a small circle into
00:11:31.12010 20 30 men are endless endless perpetrators who all have the same
00:11:39.280approach to the victim and who all can leverage that same control and abuse that vulnerability
00:11:46.080so how come this has gone on for so long like if this happens to one person say say a working
00:11:52.880class girl in one of these smaller towns and they go to the police what has been happening
00:11:58.160when they go to the police well the experience in my case and this is echoed across the board
00:12:05.620when it comes to to victims and survivors is that those in power turned a blind eye i for example
00:12:13.340when i first spoke out about my abuse i told one of my key workers at the kid's home that i was
00:12:18.040living in and she had a mandatory reporting duty and passed it on to the police i had a detective
00:12:23.680come round to to where I was and and uh questioned me from the CSE team the child sexual exploitation
00:12:30.920team and one of her first questions that she asked me was whether I consented to sex at any time
00:12:35.940and bear in mind I was five years old when my abuse started a child cannot consent under any terms
00:12:42.080to sexual activity and yet the the experience of myself and the experience of countless other girls
00:12:49.240was that somehow in some way those in power and in authority believed that we were at fault for
00:12:57.040the abuse that we suffered that in some way we were active participants or that we brought it
00:13:01.700on ourselves that it was a lifestyle choice this is what was uh echoed in in the Telford report
00:13:07.880in particular and in Rotherham and Rochdale the other two towns who had independent inquiries
00:13:12.300into child sexual exploitation it was seen that to quote the Telford report directly that police
00:13:19.280had failed in their most basic duty to prevent girls being abused and that this was due to a
00:13:25.040mixture of incompetence ignorance and attitude towards the victims that that they were somehow
00:13:31.380responsible for their abuse so girls were often labeled as child prostitutes and in fact arrested
00:13:36.840and and and charged at times for prostitution when in reality they were being abused and raped on a
00:13:43.560nightly basis by adult pakistani muslim men against their will they were called uh i don't
00:13:49.880you can bleep this out obviously if it's not if it will get flagged by youtube but they were called
00:13:54.300white slags and pakishagas and told that essentially there was no case to answer because
00:14:01.060they must have consented that it was their fault that they were troublemakers and that it was a
00:14:05.080lifestyle choice and so continually when girls were speaking out and this is this is another
00:14:10.300key point it isn't as if victims weren't coming forward because victims were victims and their
00:14:15.460parents would bang down the doors of police stations go to sexual health clinics track down
00:14:19.800the perpetrators hand in lists of abusers and police and local authorities and and key workers
00:14:26.600would take no action they were aware of the abusers they were aware of what was going on
00:14:30.860but they simply did not care nor believe that the girls were deserving of the support and
00:14:35.540protection that they owed them just insane it just insane and are okay and then so there are
00:14:45.620numbers being thrown around about how many people this has happened to and i know it's gone like
00:14:51.700depending on who you ask it's like in the thousands and then 250 000 has been tossed around
00:14:58.940what do you think like what numbers do you think are reasonable for how many people this has happened
00:15:02.980to there's no reasonable number in my in my opinion and absolutely not yeah i think that
00:15:10.820every number that is being thrown around has it previously was to minimize and and try and reduce
00:15:17.760the scale of abuse and and downplay it by local authorities because again the people that are
00:15:22.120releasing the data are the same people who fail to protect those little girls child sexual
00:15:27.560exploitation and grooming gangs statistics aren't separately recorded in national databases and by
00:15:32.760the police or by the office for national statistics and that's by design it's it's entirely intentional
00:15:38.840because if they can't hide from the numbers they'll suppress them instead and so everything
00:15:43.420is amalgamated under the umbrella of child sexual abuse which includes every kind of abuse whether
00:15:48.720it's abuse from a family member uh priests abusing uh children anything any kind of sexual abuse in
00:15:55.920the UK is all bandied under the same general figure we don't have a statistical breakdown
00:16:00.800of the different kinds of abuse we have it by age range we have it by ethnicity for child sexual
00:16:06.900abuse but nothing when it comes to child sexual exploitation in particular and and grooming gangs
00:16:12.140based sexual abuse so whether it's a thousand or a hundred thousand girls we have no way of knowing
00:16:19.640the only thing that I can speak from is my own experience and I will say that in Telford I don't
00:16:24.640know a single person that has lived in Telford for the majority of their lives that doesn't know a
00:16:29.640girl who was abused by Pakistani Muslim grooming gangs who was victimized by child sexual
00:16:36.340exploitation who was raped and exploited and threatened and manipulated and even killed
00:16:42.980by these men it is a cautionary tale and something that was used as a don't be like them
00:16:51.140you know you know what happened to them be better don't don't fall into the same
00:16:55.740trap as them and yet again it was never the girl's fault we all we all know someone that
00:17:03.440experienced it or experienced it ourselves and no no figure could ever truly capture the level
00:17:11.780of and scale of of abuse and and the impact of this on on communities like mine well it's
00:17:19.260absolutely ridiculous for full adults to be suggesting that somebody who's even 14 even the
00:17:26.400numbers like 16 and 17 those are still young people like I think anybody reasonable who thinks
00:17:32.960about themselves at 16 or 17 is like yeah I was naive and I was a kid you know for a while but
00:17:39.340then when you see these numbers that are like 10 11 12 well I can't believe that anybody who went
00:17:47.980through that who went to an adult i don't understand what frame of mind the adult could
00:17:53.620be in to say well did you consent it's like your brain isn't even fully developed yet for a while
00:18:00.160like how can you even bring up the idea of consenting it's so infuriating it's unbelievable
00:18:06.700absolutely and it's also worth saying that in the uk a child is any person under the age of 18 even
00:18:14.320though the age of consent is 16 in the uk under the children's act 1996 and per the sexual
00:18:22.060offenses act it is it is under 18 that still counts as a child so whether you're 16 or 17
00:18:27.740getting raped by an adult you are still a child you might there might be a legal age of consent
00:18:33.000but you are still classified as a child and vulnerable and and and it determines that you
00:18:38.040require prioritized protection and enhanced protection because there is an understanding
00:18:42.560under the law in england that you are still not adult enough not mature enough not developed
00:18:49.460enough to be able to be making adult decisions or to be subjected to adult acts and so yeah even a
00:18:56.82016 17 year old there is no excuse for police local authorities social workers sexual health
00:19:02.800clinic workers to be saying that you you consented this you deserved this you brought this on
00:19:08.520yourself under no circumstances is a child ever responsible for the abuse that they suffered and
00:19:13.000yet that's what we were made to feel yeah i mean bringing age into it is worse like this happening
00:19:19.480to young people is worse but even people who are over the age of 18 if this happened to it's still
00:19:23.940unacceptable like it's not like it would be okay as soon as you hit 18 the entire nothing about any
00:19:29.300of it is even remotely okay um we should talk about so since elon kind of blew it up um what
00:19:37.560has the uk's response been like i know that there was just a vote for a national inquiry so we can
00:19:43.720talk about how that went um so i guess let's start with from what like what are you seeing
00:19:51.560is anything happening in the uk on the ground or are people talking about it more saying like thank
00:19:57.000goodness people are talking about it like what's the average person's response to this
00:20:02.600the average person's outraged and the average politician is trying to cover it up that's what
00:20:07.080it comes down to I think. In the UK there has always been an outcry of public outrage
00:20:14.900when it comes to child sexual exploitation and the people that have seen it with their
00:20:19.540own eyes or experienced it have been speaking out for years. It isn't an issue that just
00:20:23.080started with Elon and yet Elon seems to be the only person that has been able to make
00:20:28.260mainstream politicians actually pay attention and and pull their fingers out on this issue
00:20:33.520Because, like you said, on the ground, everybody believes that this is abhorrent.
00:20:40.180Everybody believes that this should have had more decisive action taken decades ago and that it shouldn't still be going on.
00:20:47.600But those in power, those in positions of power, even after the ground swelling of international scrutiny and media coverage that followed Elon's picking up of the cases and of the scandal, they've done nothing but try and cover it up.
00:21:04.520The vote in the Commons the other day, the parliamentary vote, failed. It was defeated by the Labour Party, who, may I add, are the party who rule in most of the local authorities where child sexual exploitation was rife and is rife.
00:21:20.640Telford is a Labour-led council, Rotherham and Rochdale, both Labour-run, Oldham, Labour-run, every major city or town that has been affected by child sexual exploitation has Labour politicians in charge, and Keir Starmer himself branded every person who is speaking out about this essentially a far-right bandwagon jumper.
00:21:47.080So. Yes, the public believes in this. Yes, the public wants action, but I've seen nothing of note from politicians and the Labour Party, in fact, have gone even further in closing ranks around those who could potentially be held responsible for the failings and are continuing to blame the victims, blame the whistleblowers, try and deny silence, avoid and shift the blame onto
00:22:17.080everyone but themselves we've seen a couple of outliers come out and and say that we should have
00:22:22.300a national inquiry but for example the Rotherham and Rochdale MPs have both said that they would
00:22:26.860now support a limited inquiry into child sex exploitation which by the way I I personally
00:22:32.640believe they're only saying to cover their own necks in their constituencies because imagine
00:22:36.400being the MP for that area and voting against a national inquiry into the biggest scandal
00:22:42.140and the biggest injustice that young girls in their area faced.
00:22:46.260And yet those same MPs voted against the National Inquiry in Parliament the other day.
00:22:50.540So the action, I think, has been very performative, that which has been taken.
00:22:54.300And the majority of politicians have taken no action at all,
00:22:58.860or in fact have tried to block the cause even more.
00:23:06.520I think for people listening who aren't aware, the Labour Party would be,
00:23:09.740they had more liberal values if you wanted to compare it to the u.s they had more liberal values
00:23:14.460than conservative parties it's like kind of the equivalent in the uk um and they just had a vote
00:23:20.480and what was what were the numbers i couldn't believe the numbers it was like something like
00:23:25.600you might know them it was 364 mps that voted against national inquiry into child sexual
00:23:32.480exploitation and grooming gangs and 111 mps that voted in favor of it not a single labor mp broke
00:23:39.560ranks to vote for a national inquiry and the entire so crazy democrats voted for
00:23:47.880to blow to say to block it yeah that that's so crazy has anyone come out with any excuses like
00:23:55.080we were voting against it because is it just that it's a right-wing conspiracy like what's the
00:24:01.160excuse for voting against an inquiry into child sexual abuse like what could what's their there's
00:24:08.760There's been a whole host of excuses. The major one that MPs have said is that because it was an amendment on an existing bill, so the vote was tallied on by the Conservative Party leader as an amendment to the schools bill, I believe it was, saying that an inquiry, a national inquiry into grooming gangs should be held.
00:24:31.460And they were saying that if the amendment passed and it would kill the bill and reduce protection for vulnerable children, which is absolutely ridiculous, in my opinion, saying that they want to protect vulnerable children and that's why they want to vote against this while actively turning their backs on victims and survivors of child sexual exploitation is beyond the pale.
00:24:56.260it's it's laughable that they're trying to to take the moral high ground that is the the major
00:25:01.580one is that if they voted in favor of this amendment then the bill would be killed and that
00:25:05.540it would slow down uh the process of of of essentially shutting down academies and bringing
00:25:11.640them back under the state the state school system that was the main one that most labor
00:25:15.940MPs quoted others said that a national inquiry wasn't uh necessary that local inquiries are
00:25:21.900sufficient for such as in Telford, Rotherham and Rochdale. And yet Telford, Rotherham and Rochdale
00:25:26.640all also requested national inquiries prior to being told, no, you have to do it yourselves
00:25:33.400and being shut down by the previous Conservative government. Other MPs said that it was a
00:25:42.060politicised attack on the Labour Party and that it was the far right that had hijacked the cause.
00:25:48.260that was what Keir Starmer himself said by the way the leader of the Labour Party the Prime
00:25:52.840Minister of the United Kingdom did a public press conference and called those speaking out about
00:25:57.700child sexual exploitation members of the far right there was a complete and total disregard
00:26:06.620for the victims and survivors and an attempt to essentially brand all those who who talk out about
00:26:15.040it right-wing islamophobes yeah did you hear did you hear about this mp i just saw this floating
00:26:25.480around on x iver kaplan who was a former mp who was kicked out if if anyone listening this is so
00:26:32.820disturbing so he's a former mp he was kicked out not just a former mp a former minister he was he
00:26:38.380was a member of the government yeah yeah okay uh he was kicked out last year or or something like
00:26:44.660that. If you go to his ex, he has full on porn on his ex. About 90% of it is gay porn. 10% of it
00:26:53.860is him backing up Kit Starmer. Yes. It's some of the most disturbing footage I've seen.
00:26:58.780And it's full on there. And there are other members of the Labour Party that are following
00:27:04.080him. It gets me pretty conspiratorial. Like why would people vote against looking into
00:27:09.720child sexual exploitation and then you see this guy and it's like is that what the labor party
00:27:15.320kind of looks like like the dark side of it it's worth mentioning Ivor Kaplan the the MP the former
00:27:20.560MP and former minister that you're talking about he was on national TV just last week
00:27:25.820attacking those who were speaking out about child sexual exploitation and saying that he didn't
00:27:31.420support a national inquiry and that it was far-right agitators who were attempting to
00:27:36.760thwart the labor government by bringing this issue up and a week later just a couple of days ago he
00:27:42.160was arrested during a pedophile sting for allegedly trying to meet up with a 15 year old for sex and
00:27:48.480sending indecent images to to said child he's sitting in jail right now on child sex abuse
00:27:55.560charges which is why his ex posts are still available it's insane you can't make it up like
00:28:02.160i don't know this is like trigger warning for anyone who's going to go look at that because
00:28:05.380there's actual porn on his ex but it's like so that's the guy who was saying don't look into
00:28:10.340pedophilia okay that's the guy that was followed by high-ranking labor ministers and officials
00:28:15.960that's the man who is representative of the labor party and and was supported by them and and
00:28:23.640kept within their ranks until i believe it was june 2024 he was a member of the labor party and
00:28:30.080was a high-ranking official and continues and continue to have involvement with labor politicians
00:28:36.720past his suspension that's so it's so disturbing it's like it sounds you know if you didn't want
00:28:45.780to think people had the capacity to commit evil you'd think it was a conspiracy and then
00:28:50.460it's so blatant it's such a blatant example of what's going on right there it's really horrifying
00:28:57.280I don't believe that it's a conspiracy. I believe it's true. You can't hide. Oh, me too. There's no conspiracy because it is a documented cover up. The attitude of labor authorities, local councils, politicians, the police, service workers, social workers, sexual health clinic workers, teachers. It was a cover up, an orchestrated cover up for decades. And it's continuing to this day.
00:29:23.980so there's no conspiracy because it's the truth it's it's out there in the open are these people
00:29:29.600do you think involved in the cover-up so i know that there was the argument like we can't talk
00:29:34.340about who's committing these crimes because that would be islamophobic that was a huge cover-up
00:29:39.120and now there seems to be a like pedophilia element to it so are these people
00:29:45.180i'm just wondering who these people are i don't understand how there can be so many people
00:29:52.600involved in a cover-up to this scale like like you said police members of parliament the the
00:29:58.660prime minister isn't even looking into it is like how deep does this go well in in greater manchester
00:30:05.240for example there were police officers serving police officers that were charged with being
00:30:11.800associated with the pakistanian muslim grooming gangs who were charged with child sexual abuse
00:30:17.760crimes and were active serving police officers at the time there are members of local government
00:30:24.500and current mps who played a part in the cover-up of this scandal the telford mp sean davis for
00:30:31.260example was a previous council leader he was the leader of telford and reeking council from
00:30:35.9402015 until 2024 and was a member of the labor cabinet and from 2011 this was during as i said
00:30:43.180the I suppose the the height of the investigations into CSE in Telford and he and his council
00:30:50.620continued to deny responsibility for the failings he himself was silent on on the day that the
00:30:56.180Telford report was was published and he said at one point that he was three years old at the time
00:31:00.640that CSE was going on well that's not true because I'm in my early 20s and CSE was going on and still
00:31:07.800is going on in telford he is a member of parliament right now he's a labor mp a sitting
00:31:14.200labor mp despite his failings and despite his role in the child sexual abuse and and exploitation
00:31:21.000scandal in telford his members of his cabinet for example said the children and uh young people
00:31:27.620cabinet member in telford at the time said that the journalist who broke the story on telford was
00:31:34.440making it up to be able to sell a survivor's book and that the another senior Labour
00:31:41.240politician at the time in Telford said that the numbers were made on the up on the back of a fag
00:31:47.140packet these are politicians who are still in post in Telford or in in other areas some of them have
00:31:54.560moved to to other local authorities we have the former leader of the council who's now a sitting
00:31:59.280MP, and by the way, was absent for the vote, didn't vote at all. He was missing in action
00:32:04.260in Parliament that day. The Telford MP didn't vote at all on whether there should be a national
00:32:09.900inquiry when Telford is thought to be the highest, is thought to have the highest victim count of any
00:32:18.180local area. So yes, there was involvement at all levels, and there continues to be. It pervades
00:32:23.980all the way up into parliament yeah crazy i guess it would make sense that evil people would get
00:32:30.340into the government to try and protect themselves so they have power so the people don't look into
00:32:36.120what they're doing so i guess on that level it makes sense oh my gosh okay so what should people
00:32:42.220now that they've just if if the labor party is a problem and they're not going to look into this
00:32:48.620when is the next election in the uk is this i guess for lack of a better word evil so entrenched
00:32:56.640that there's going to be able to be a switch in government so people look into it like where do
00:33:02.460people go from here unfortunately the labor party commands the largest parliamentary majority i
00:33:09.440believe in in history it's one of the largest parliamentary majorities ever and the next
00:33:15.260general election won't happen until at least 2029 so we've got oh my gosh okay when did they get
00:33:21.940so did they just get put in power just get got put in power it's been i believe less than 150 days
00:33:30.240since they were in power since they since they uh were elected into office it was the conservatives
00:33:34.880that were in power previously and they have an entire parliamentary term to serve which is i
00:33:41.140think says a lot considering how heated the Labour government is already. Six months into their term,
00:33:46.320they've managed to crash the economy, vote against an inquiry into child sexual exploitation. They
00:33:52.680also took away heating payments for vulnerable pensioners this winter, by the way. That was
00:33:57.720another scandal. They locked up 73-year-old pensioners for tweeting about the Southport
00:34:05.100riots. This is six months of a Labour government. We've got four and a half years left of it. And
00:34:10.500The only way that a vote would be able to be called a new general election was if MPs voted for it.
00:34:16.240And when there are 300 odd Labour MPs in Parliament and only about 140 or 170 non-Labour MPs, the chances of that happening are slim to none.
00:37:20.340Are you trying to think of another word for rain?
00:37:22.840yes yeah he is ruling like a dictator and I'm trying to I'm trying to keep my my language
00:37:28.000professional but he he deserves very little respect in my opinion um right at the start of
00:37:33.880his term three little girls in in a town called Southport were murdered by a domestic terrorist
00:37:40.680a a man called Axel Rooker Bander I can't pronounce his his surname but he was he opened
00:37:49.800fire on a little girl's dance class on a child's dance class in Southport and three little girls
00:37:56.060were murdered and the ensuing um uproar as a result of that led to nationwide protests because
00:38:05.120it was seen that there was a cover-up and that uh the influx of illegal migration had had a hand in
00:38:12.620the the increasing radicalization because this this was this is suspected to be an Islamic
00:38:17.440terrorist attack so a lone perpetrator committing an act of terror on british soil and murdering
00:38:23.240three little girls opening fire in a kids dance class um to wage a holy war and he his actions
00:38:33.620the and then in the ensuing media coverage where they for example only published photos of him from
00:38:38.580as an 11 year old boy and talked about how he was a an aspiring west end star and a shy school boy
00:38:45.240trying to paint him as a sympathetic victim when he again was arrested on charges of murdering three
00:38:51.440little girls led to nationwide riots and as a result of that there were hundreds of arrests
00:38:57.780people were arrested for posting things on social media on x people were arrested for for taking to
00:39:03.880the streets and protesting against illegal migration in britain there are people who have
00:39:08.100already they set up 24-hour courts to deal with this bear in mind at a time when kia starmer is
00:39:13.760currently releasing sexual offenders and violent offenders with sentences of less than two years
00:39:20.500onto our streets because of prison overcrowding. He's sending pensioners to prison for two years
00:39:25.300for social media posts. That was the Southport riots. That was the last instance of public
00:39:31.760demonstrations. And that's what happened to those protesters. And so the fear right now, I absolutely
00:39:38.820believe is retribution from the government and from police and from local authorities that again,
00:39:43.540And the very same people who failed little girls in towns like mine will punish those who try to speak out.
00:39:49.560I myself had the police show up at my door when I went on national TV to speak about grooming gangs.
00:39:55.080And when I said that it was still going on in Telford and towns across the UK, and when I said that police were still turning a blind eye,
00:40:03.100the very next day, West Mercia police showed up at my doorstep and tried to demand that I go down to the police station with them for an interview.
00:40:09.700because quote-unquote when you go on tv to talk about grooming gangs you should expect to hear
00:40:15.180from us they try to threaten me and intimidate me into silence and try to to penalize me for
00:40:24.120exposing their failings another survivor sammy woodhouse just the other day about i think four
00:40:31.000or five days ago had a call from south yorkshire police saying that she had to remove twitter
00:40:35.620posts speaking about her story her life experience as a victim of of Pakistani Muslim child sexual
00:40:43.140exploitation because it was going to it was going to jeopardize a case and she could potentially be
00:40:49.020held in contempt of court and that she was at fault for tweeting about it publicly and sharing
00:40:54.560publicly available information that had been reported on the BBC and national news they target
00:41:00.000survivors they target whistleblowers they target anyone who dares to go against the established
00:41:05.240narrative and so that's why people aren't taking to the streets i believe because the rule of the
00:41:11.480law that's supposed to protect vulnerable uh children is instead going to punish them and
00:41:16.920penalize them and throw them in prison for two years for speaking about it on x that's so crazy
00:41:22.360that that's where like that's the state of yeah that's the state of things right now it's so crazy
00:41:29.480so i get that so what would happen do you think in the uk if there was something like the trucker
00:41:33.960convoy which was largely a peaceful like show up with trucks there are people there everyone was
00:41:39.340pretty chill like there wasn't a lot going on they were just like hey we're here you have to
00:41:44.260change things you know is this what the rallies uh looked like on your side of the pond many of
00:41:51.200them were some of them weren't so there were a lot of arrests and i i absolutely don't condone
00:41:55.700the violent protests that occurred after the south port um attacks but again it was painted
00:42:02.660by Kirstama and by the Labour regime as far-right agitators
00:42:26.540about the state of illegal migration in Britain.
00:42:31.020That was the case in the Southport riots. And even now, free speech, I don't believe exists in Britain. You can't speak freely about anything that goes against the mainstream quota, because you will be targeted.
00:42:46.960I went on national TV, spoke about it in an entirely peaceful way. I think we can agree that that is a perfectly acceptable forum to speak about this, especially in my role as a journalist. And I was targeted. I was contacted by police and they tried to intimidate me into silence.
00:43:04.560so no matter what you do no matter how legitimate your concerns are no matter how
00:43:08.940properly you follow the processes those in power don't care about the processes they all they care
00:43:14.360about is covering up their own failings and continuing to silence those who could expose
00:43:19.460them so then what do you do in a situation like that do people ask for like elon was like we need
00:43:25.440international pressure basically at this point because you can't get help if you're on the inside
00:43:30.280which I understand like I said before when do people take to the streets but if you're getting
00:43:36.360arrested for social media posts it's just such a crazy position to be in and I think part of the
00:43:42.580reason other than the fact that it's so evil that it needs to be exposed so that's why I wanted to
00:43:47.960talk about it and because it's really upsetting that that can that can happen you know just in
00:43:52.960general but canada and the uk are you know kind of close right it is like definitely half combined
00:44:00.720with america and the uk or something is where canada is there's a lot of crossover and a lot
00:44:05.120of the canadian laws are based off english common law as well so it's a very similar
00:44:10.320governmental structure and and and way of operating especially under trudeau i think trudeau's
00:44:15.760yeah um leadership if you can call it that and kissed armor uh there's many many parallels in
00:44:22.660in a very bad way yeah so part part of the reason to talk about it other than the uk needs help
00:44:27.840terribly terribly needs help is how do we make sure this stops like i know bill c63 which is
00:44:34.620on pause right now because of this whole trudeau's going to resign thing that's happening in canada
00:44:40.160that was similar to what happened in the uk which it was going to allow people to be arrested for
00:44:46.280social media posts which sounds so crazy to the average americans like how could that even happen
00:44:51.820but there's no there really isn't like freedom of speech built in the country like there is in
00:44:57.520the u.s i was like this could spread like this isn't something unfortunately the uk is an example
00:45:03.080right now but it's not special you know it could spread so people need to know what to look for
00:45:09.820and make sure it doesn't happen and to not be naive and to say absolutely not absolutely this
00:45:15.600is a a left-wing agenda for sure and it you know it might sound like i have my tinfoil hat on but
00:45:23.260i've seen this in action in britain for years one of the big one of the big issues on free speech
00:45:29.280at the moment that's being debated is whether there should be a an updated version of islamophobia
00:45:35.140in the equality act and whether islamophobia should be uh specifically defined in law as
00:45:45.100anyone essentially who speaks out or criticizes islam in any way that they can be subject to hate
00:45:53.260speech crimes and and that they could be prosecuted under english law that is being
00:45:58.040debated at the moment and kirstama is has stated previously that he would be in favor of updating
00:46:03.340the the definition to essentially introduce blasphemy laws on islam no other religion
00:46:10.060just Islam so it is it is accelerated in Britain it is happening quicker than it's happening in
00:46:17.140Canada or in the US or in Australia and New Zealand but it's happening across the globe
00:46:23.440it's just that that Britain is is I suppose the cautionary tale for other governments and other
00:46:29.600countries of what can happen when this sort of legislation is allowed to to pass uncontested and
00:46:38.480when those in power don't have the courage or conviction to stand up for the rights of their
00:46:46.160people i think it's extremely naive as well for a number of reasons but if you look at places like
00:46:53.160the uae for example they've identified a lot of extremist groups and all right and and don't stand
00:47:01.560for it right they're like absolutely not not here you know and that's a muslim area too and their
00:47:08.020picky with who's allowed like don't allow the extremist horrible evil people to be around our
00:47:15.160citizens and so instead they all come to britain and europe they exactly they leave they're like
00:47:20.640you can't be here kick them out and then they all go to western places where they're just like
00:47:25.320you're all welcome you can acclimate into society when they've literally been kicked out
00:47:30.720There was a case in that was in the news recently in Britain of an asylum seeker from the Middle East who came who came across to Greece first and successfully applied for asylum in Greece as his first port of call.
00:47:48.460He was granted asylum in Greece and obviously indefinite leave to remain.
00:47:52.060And then he decided to leave Greece and cross the channel illegally and come to Britain because he knew that he would get a better deal.
00:47:59.020he knew and i quote that the taxes that the benefits would be better and that the quality
00:48:04.540of life was better in england and that the government would give him more if he came to
00:48:09.140britain illegally and so he left a safe country where he had claimed asylum and being granted it
00:48:15.420to come to britain because he knew that it was easier and that he would he would get more he
00:48:20.520would be able to leech off of the state more and that is a case that's repeated in the tens of
00:48:24.720thousands i i believe it was over it was hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants that came into
00:48:31.880britain last year alone um and it it's happening year on year the numbers are growing its population
00:48:39.140displacement at its at its core bradford for example there's a postcode in bradford i can't
00:48:44.280remember the exact the exact area but there is an area in bradford where 72 i think is the exact
00:48:51.460figure of citizens living there arrived in britain after 2011 that is not british born they are they
00:49:02.760are not um british citizens by birth these are people who have come into the country and are
00:49:08.020creating uh microcosms of their own of their own home countries in our nation and are being allowed
00:49:14.740to establish these epicenters where there is very little english communication the level of of
00:49:20.540integration with the rest of society is minimal they don't like to associate with with british
00:49:27.420people and with with white people they resent them in fact um and and are establishing their own
00:49:33.840microcosms of of of the muslim ideal and again i will probably be branded a right-wing extremist
00:49:42.980and a bigot for saying this but the numbers don't lie the figures don't lie the figures that we do
00:49:47.760have are very clear on this issue and there are many places in the uk where this just is is is
00:49:54.840rife and it's continuing to grow so one thing i've been thinking about i guess in the last couple
00:50:00.840weeks after learning about all this is how much of this is legal immigration how much of this is
00:50:07.260because we've never really had societies where we've incorporated really different parts of the
00:50:13.860world together and just been like oh everything's going to be hunky-dory what can we do to make sure
00:50:19.340we're not repeating this in canada and america and australia um obviously illegal immigration
00:50:25.440is a problem but i was thinking this is my perspective so i want to know what yours is
00:50:30.560is these areas that are more prone to extremism which seems to be occurring especially in specific
00:50:37.440areas in the middle east where certain aspects of islam uh can be just go really awry right for
00:50:47.200lack of a better explanation is wouldn't it be simple for the government just to say hey
00:50:52.320people who are coming from this area let's do a little bit more research like when i know when
00:50:57.640people are immigrating to uae they look at your social media they kind of like look and see who
00:51:02.580you are and i don't think people who are and maybe i'm being naive but i don't think people
00:51:08.040who are extremists are not really outward with that perspective like you can go on people's x
00:51:14.940accounts and they tell you what they think they're not hiding it and pretending to be like you because
00:51:19.960they full-on disagree with how you live what your society looks like and they'll tell you it's wrong
00:51:24.960and that they want it to change and maybe don't let those people in yeah and this is why so many
00:51:31.940of them come illegally and cross the channel in britain because if you're coming if you're coming
00:51:35.820via plane and you're crossing the border legally they you you have to give them your name you have
00:51:42.260to give them your passport you have to tell them who you are whereas if you come over on a dinghy
00:51:46.520and cross the channel you don't have to give any of that you can give any name any age there have
00:51:52.000been countless cases where adult men have have um claimed that they were teenagers with a completely
00:51:58.580different date of birth and country of origin to hide the fact that they had criminal records in
00:52:04.120their home countries and that they under no circumstances would be allowed in the country
00:52:08.600otherwise and we do have terrorism prevention organizations and schemes we have the prevent
00:52:14.960scheme in Britain where those who are seen as being at risk of radicalization and extremism
00:52:21.960in britain are reported and monitored by national authorities but again it doesn't work
00:52:30.400it doesn't operate because they are hiding in plain sight the southport killer who's currently
00:52:35.800on trial he was known to prevent before he committed his crimes he was already on national
00:52:42.200radars for radicalization and extremism and yet he was he was able to carry out his crimes
00:52:47.680without any efforts to prevent them it is completely naive to assume that the government
00:52:57.580in any country whether it's canada or the uk or even the us has any real understanding of who is
00:53:03.780crossing their borders in britain we have no idea who the hundreds of thousands of
00:53:08.340predominantly adult men are crossing into our country every day it was found that
00:53:13.20010 percent of the male adult population of albania currently lives in the uk and albania had to
00:53:21.460declare itself a safe albania had to be declared a safe country by the uk government because so
00:53:27.320many albanian men of working age of fighting age were coming into britain illegally and then
00:53:32.720claiming asylum because they were saying that albania was an unsafe country and so the previous
00:53:36.660conservative government with much opposition from labor declared albania a safe country so that they
00:53:43.100were no longer able to do that but 10 of the current adult male population of albania is
00:53:48.260residing in britain that's insane okay so then what's the solution here is the solution just
00:53:55.820i mean stronger borders obviously is that the main solution and stronger borders and deporting
00:54:01.640all foreign criminals again yeah the labor government dismantled the previous conservative
00:54:07.440government's plan and and tried to block it at every time when the conservatives were in government
00:54:12.480to deport foreign criminals to Rwanda it's a scheme it's not something that is unique to Britain
00:54:18.040other other foreign nations had deported criminals to different countries before or had
00:54:24.160stored them on floating container ships there was a a barge that was used by the British government
00:54:30.680that had previously been used by Germany by I believe a couple of Scandinavian countries
00:54:35.460to house illegal migrants while they were being processed through the system and and while it was
00:54:40.420figured out exactly who they were and what to do with them and the labor regime said that it was
00:54:45.300racist and inhumane and and tried to block it they blocked all of the flights to rwanda that the
00:54:49.400previous uh home secretaries tried to to to set off um and then eventually when they got into
00:54:56.360government dismantled the scheme altogether and said that they would instead process uh asylum
00:55:02.060claims quicker so that they could sort out the backlog but in reality all that means is letting
00:55:07.740more people that stay in this country for longer and in fact the illegal migration figures have
00:55:12.600risen since labor came into power because now there's no there's absolutely no disincentive
00:55:18.640to not come illegal illegally to britain um yeah it's it's unconscionable that that members of
00:55:28.240pakistani muslim grooming gangs in britain who are foreign nationals pakistani citizens are still
00:55:33.920living in britain after being convicted of sex crimes i don't i believe from my knowledge there's
00:55:39.220not a single criminal who has been convicted of being a pakistani muslim grooming gang member
00:55:43.900convicted of raping exploiting murdering little girls in britain on british soil not a single
00:55:49.640one of them has been deported and in fact many of them have been released and are currently living
00:55:53.940in the same communities that they abused little girls in just a few short years ago so do you know
00:55:58.000what the labor party's argument for like what's their argument against deporting people who've
00:56:04.060been convicted of crimes like illegal immigrants that have been convicted of crimes like what's
00:56:09.500the downside of deporting those people they have to have some excuse right like we can't violates
00:56:14.100their human rights oh my gosh can you imagine saying that it would violate the rights of a
00:56:22.100person who violated little girls for years who exploited murdered trafficked sodomized raped
00:56:30.820little girls on british soil who took away their human rights to say that they are more deserving
00:56:38.400of protection and support than those little girls were that they abused that's what that's what the
00:56:43.100labor party says that's what the home office says that's what politicians say that it's that it's
00:56:48.100illegal because it breaches their human rights there was a case again a couple of months ago
00:56:52.700where a foreign national who was convicted of raping i believe it was a 13 year old girl
00:56:58.800was told that he would be allowed to stay in britain because it would violate his
00:57:02.680his uh right to a family his family rights there was another case of a foreign national who raped
00:57:08.500his own stepdaughter and was told that it would violate his right to a family life his human right
00:57:14.040to a family life to be deported to his home country bear in mind he had raped the stepdaughter
00:57:20.260to whom he supposedly had an inalienable human right to a life with the very same the very same
00:57:28.420child that he abused was the reason that he was able to stay in this country i just can't like
00:57:34.680i can't even wrap my head it it i can't understand it at all it's so like it's so evil but it's also
00:57:42.800so naive and so stupid it's like can people actually be that that naive that level like i
00:57:50.140can understand being i can understand from a liberal perspective being like multiculturalism
00:57:54.880is only a benefit like everybody wants the good of the world you know everyone's innately good
00:58:01.140and they'll all group together and it'll be this beautiful thing like i can understand that that
00:58:05.760was the vision but once you hear about things can't you be like okay maybe not everyone thinks
00:58:12.920like me i just it's so shocking that isn't the case and it is an insult to suggest that the
00:58:19.620issue of pakistani muslim growing gangs and in general legal migration and the level the level
00:58:24.240of illegal migrant crime in the uk as a result of anything other than failed multiculturalism
00:58:29.080failed integration i'm the daughter of first generation immigrant myself i'm biracial my
00:58:33.960mother came here in the early 2000s legally as an economic migrant and has paid taxes in the
00:58:40.180country for 20 odd years, has contributed to society as a British citizen, is proud to be
00:58:45.320British and wants the good of society. It is an insult to equate her and her right to be in the
00:58:51.420country to illegal migrants and malicious foreign actors who come to our country, establish their
00:59:02.460own way of life refuse to integrate refuse to learn english refuse to be a part of our society
00:59:07.780and seek nothing but to dismantle it at its very core who resent it and criticize it and and label
00:59:14.780british society and british people evil and racist and and uh bigoted while reaping the benefits
00:59:21.940of the country that they hate and despise so much a hundred percent a hundred percent so how on a
00:59:29.160government level do places avoid that do you think it's almost all illegal immigrants or is this also
00:59:36.460a legal immigration problem it is also i'm not opposed like i know there are a lot of conservatives
00:59:42.540that are especially with all the illegal immigration problems that we're having there are a lot of
00:59:47.120conservatives that are like no more immigration period and that's always been an aspect of
00:59:53.120conservatism and i would that i was never on board with that because i can see the benefits of
00:59:57.600immigration as long as people are want to come to your country and migration yeah become part of
01:00:03.640the country they don't want to bring their country here like you want to go to britain because britain
01:00:07.820is beautiful the people are wonderful and you want to be british right so it's just controlled
01:00:12.860you think just a lower rate of legal immigration what do you mean by controlled absolutely and
01:00:17.780this is the thing british conservatism i would say has always been more center of right than
01:00:24.940for example american republicanism it is the british political system is far more left-leaning
01:00:30.220as a whole than for sure most other most other western nations i think that britain traditionally
01:00:37.440has been has always been a very moderate country even british conservatives i mean british
01:00:41.720conservatives the conservative party was the party that legalized gay marriage in 2013
01:00:47.200they uh you know are broadly aligned in a lot of social issues for example but it is it is
01:00:55.900definitely a migration problem in general legal and illegal migration and britain was always a
01:01:00.740case study of the ideal migration model up until about 2008 because up until about 2008 we had a
01:01:07.000net migration figure of between 60 to 80 000 per year last year i'm pretty sure it was around 450
01:01:13.840thousand net migration into the country much of this being illegal but a lot of it also being
01:01:19.840legal the previous conservative government tried to tighten a lot of the the rules on low skilled
01:01:24.620workers and temporary workers as i i know is happening in canada right now with the um tightening
01:01:30.500up of the student visa and permanent residency requirements because of the the influx of indian
01:01:36.300migrants into canada in the last decade but in britain we always had a very very tightly controlled
01:01:43.000and very functional migration system up until about 2008 and since then migration figures have
01:01:48.880just built and built and built and are now at an untenable level and it's due to the ignorance and
01:01:56.380i think the willful uh optimism of left-wing parties and even the conservatives fell victim
01:02:04.940to this in not wanting to come across as racist as we see in the pakistani muslim grooming gang
01:02:09.740scandal not wanting to be seen as racist not wanting to be divisive not wanting to go against
01:02:15.360the the idea of well migration is good in in general as a whole because i do believe that
01:02:21.220migration is good when it's controlled controlled migration is good and economic migration in general
01:02:26.960is not a bad thing it's when it's uncontrolled and when it's out of out of control that it that
01:02:33.920it becomes an issue as we're seeing in britain and so now we're at this point where the figures
01:02:38.380are so high and the system is so broken that governments have no idea how to roll it back
01:02:43.980and how and how to call back control and when you have a government like laboring in part in power
01:02:49.180who are inclined to say that anyone who opposes migration is racist how how exactly are you
01:02:55.820supposed to challenge that narrative okay that makes sense to me i guess to to play the devil's
01:03:03.260advocate so if this grooming gang situation has been going on since the 70s that was when
01:03:08.660immigration was still more controlled right so there's still some sort of problem even with
01:03:14.920well what do you think i think the social issues have been compounding for decades
01:03:18.560it isn't it didn't happen overnight it feels as though it happened a little bit overnight because
01:03:23.680we're only just seeing the issue come into mainstream global consciousness but the issue
01:03:29.560in britain has been building for decades and particularly when it comes to the british
01:03:32.520Pakistani community these aren't illegal migrants for the most part these are legal migrants into
01:03:38.460the country there is a very large Pakistani community in Britain many of them are perfectly
01:03:43.840respectable perfectly um legal and contributing members of society who are also proud to be
01:03:50.760British but there is a very significant population who are not and who do not follow the rule of
01:03:59.520british law who believe that they are exempt who believe that their way of life is fundamentally
01:04:06.780opposed to british society and that their way of life is correct and so they've established as i
01:04:11.140said micro communities in areas in britain and operate under their their own rules and regulations
01:04:17.220and those in power are too scared to call it out because they don't want to be called racist
01:04:20.640and so in in britain the issue with the british pakistani community in particular is one of
01:04:52.800in YouGov after the most recent census
01:04:54.920ran a nationwide poll of about 200,000 respondents
01:05:01.180asking about their opinions on various social issues,
01:05:04.720one of them being of race and ethnicity.
01:05:06.620And it was actually found that Britain was one of the least racist countries
01:05:11.200when compared to global statistics on migration and on multiculturalism
01:05:19.080and on all of these social issues that we are being told daily
01:05:22.620we are wrong and extremist and bigoted regarding and so the social issues in britain have been
01:05:29.000compounded due to a a false narrative that that any opposition to multiculturalism is racist and so
01:05:38.900i think that the british pakistani community in in particular has always established a double
01:05:47.880standard when it comes to their their treatment in british society you know we don't hear about
01:05:52.320christianophobia or sikhophobia or hinduophobia it's always islamophobia in britain it's always
01:06:01.120that people are bigoted or or discriminating against muslims when that isn't the case it's
01:06:10.300just that that community in particular expects to be treated differently and expects a an enhanced
01:06:15.760level of immunity to the issues that would otherwise in britain land you in prison or
01:06:22.500or would be called out by the great and the good and because of fears of being racist as again was
01:06:28.480seen in in the telford report the rother report the rochdale report was reported as
01:06:34.440absolutely the cause of child sexual exploitation not being called out by those in power
01:06:41.980quote in telford it was said that it was due to nervousness about race it has been allowed to
01:06:47.860happen for so long and compound and build because those in power were too scared of being called
01:06:52.280racist to call out those communities who were failing to to uphold their british values and
01:06:58.540duties wild okay well samantha if people want to keep up with you where should they go online
01:07:06.560is there anywhere you recommend to read more about this or at least we should know your social media
01:07:11.320handles i'll also link them in the description for anybody listening yes i am on twitter on x

01:07:29.540and commentary on various national news channels so if you search samantha smith on youtube i'll
01:07:34.980come up i might be the third or fourth result but you'll find my interviews and my stuff pretty
01:07:39.920pretty easily um on there okay well thank you very much for coming on and talking about this
01:07:46.860um sorry that you went through everything you went through that's terrible i'm really glad
01:07:52.900you're still talking about it and trying to i don't know warn people and implement change
01:07:57.700it's really important so hopefully something good comes of it uh yeah so thanks again for coming on
01:08:04.480Thank you so much for having me and thank you for bringing this to attention when you had no duty to. It's funny how it seems like North Americans are the ones who are fighting for us more than our government and our politicians ever did. So thank you very much.
01:08:22.680yeah well i mean it should make anybody sane unbelievably angry i feel like if that's not
01:08:30.420your response then there's something wrong you can't you can't look at the i might actually
01:08:34.900link some of the some of the x posts um so people can see what i mean by transcripts so people know
01:08:40.620how so people get a better idea of how awful this is so i'll put those in the description
01:08:45.180because anyone who reads those and isn't like appalled morally to a soul level there's something
01:08:51.820wrong absolutely and you know obviously only you can only say certain things on youtube without
01:08:57.240getting demonetized and flagged but if you read the transcripts if you thought of the age of the
01:09:03.820the victims and the girls who were abused again think of your daughter your granddaughter your
01:09:08.000sister at that at that age and if you think of the level of of torture and the atrocities that
01:09:16.200were committed against little girls in britain and this the stories that those in power were
01:09:21.860turning a blind eye to it would churn any sane person's stomach agreed well hopefully this was
01:09:27.960useful to people thank you samantha again for coming on that was very informative
