The National Telegraph - Wyatt Claypool - Carney in TROUBLE - 14 Liberal MPs Sign Letter Against Him!

00:00:00.000 This is absolutely hilarious, and it feels like a parody of a liberal political story.

00:00:05.940 So apparently, there is now infighting inside the Liberal Party of Canada

00:00:11.520 over Prime Minister Mark Carney's fake pipeline agreement with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith.

00:00:18.640 I keep emphasizing fake pipeline agreement because Mark Carney himself doesn't actually want to build a pipeline.

00:00:25.680 As I keep saying, he wants to be Mr. Pipeline, keep saying yes to a pipeline, at the same time that all the caveats he puts in the pipeline agreement ends up basically making sure it's never going to get built.

00:00:38.100 He has outsourced saying no to other groups, the government of BC, First Nation bans, including fake First Nation bans like the coastal First Nations, environmental groups.

00:00:48.300 And if that's not enough to stop the pipeline, he's also requiring the Pathways Project to be a prerequisite to building a pipeline.

00:00:55.680 he's increasing the industrial carbon tax in Alberta. It's not getting built. But this is

00:01:01.680 still causing apparently 14 liberal MPs, according to CBC, to pen a letter to Carney raising

00:01:10.380 concerns over an environmental backslide. Now, this has Gregor Robertson and Stephen Gilbeau

00:01:17.800 written all over it. The details don't really matter, although they actually kind of do matter

00:01:22.360 because another funny aspect of the story is that the CBC won't actually say who the 14 MPs are,

00:01:27.740 which is not something they would ever do for conservative MPs signing a letter against their

00:01:31.900 leader. But we'll be getting into that in just a second. I just want to take you guys through

00:01:36.360 just the hilarity of all of this, including the CBC acting on behalf of liberal partisans.

00:01:42.860 But before we get into it, I just want to remind you guys, if you like the show, make sure to leave

00:01:47.100 a like on the video. Subscribe if you are not yet a subscriber. Consider hitting the join button

00:01:52.280 below the video if you want to help contribute to the channel each month. It allows me to be

00:01:56.280 less reliant on the YouTube algorithm and makes the whole channel more sustainable for me.

00:02:00.600 And of course leave a comment with what you think about this situation. But I just want to go through

00:02:06.280 this article for a bit here and then I just want to talk about just kind of how we got here, the

00:02:12.120 kind of culture that has been fostered inside the Liberal Party that would cause them to freak out

00:02:18.040 over a pipeline that won't even get built so right here it says liberal mp stephen gilbeau

00:02:24.840 may be the most outspoken but he's not the only member of his party unhappy with prime minister

00:02:30.520 mark carney's environmental rollbacks carney signed a new agreement with alberta premier

00:02:35.080 daniel smith last week that could see construction of an oil pipeline to the west coast start to

00:02:40.840 start as early as september 2027. it also includes a plan to increase alberta's industrial carbon

00:02:46.360 price, though at a slower pace than previously projected. So that is already something that is

00:02:52.700 apparently a sin in the eyes of Stephen Gilboa, Gregor Robertson, who it's been leaked that he's

00:02:58.540 not happy with the agreement, and then the other 12 liberal MPs. You're increasing the industrial

00:03:04.820 carbon tax, but not fast enough. It's time for us to rend our garments, put on sackcloth and

00:03:11.160 pour ashes on her head because this is truly a tragedy worth grieving over. Mark Carney, if

00:03:17.980 anything, if you're a climate activist, you're happy that he got Danielle Smith to agree to end

00:03:22.640 her freeze of the industrial carbon price and increase it for the very slim chance a pipeline

00:03:28.480 is already actually going to get built. Now, I know there are people in Alberta who have criticisms

00:03:33.060 of Danielle Smith from the political right. I don't share many of the criticisms that people

00:03:39.100 have of her, but this is one criticism I have. I don't think it was a responsible deal to sign.

00:03:43.900 Now maybe there's an end game here that I'm not seeing yet, but this is mostly a good agreement

00:03:48.700 for Mark Carney and the climate activists, but it's still not good enough. It goes on to say,

00:03:56.380 14 liberal MPs sent a letter to the prime minister at the end of April before the agreement with the

00:04:01.980 Alberta government was even signed to offer some recommendations, but also to express their unease

00:04:07.580 with the situation. Despite signing their names at the bottom of the letter, the MPs do not want

00:04:12.220 to be publicly identified, stating that their approach is intended to be constructive and

00:04:16.820 respectful. Quote, we remain deeply concerned the government's credibility will be seriously

00:04:21.420 compromised, said the signatories of the letter, which was obtained by Radio Canada. The 14 MPs

00:04:27.020 come from across the country, including Quebec and British Columbia, specifically in response

00:04:31.880 to the consensus being granted, concessions being granted to Alberta, the elected officials

00:04:36.700 We reiterate the importance of supporting the clean electricity regulations and more generally emphasize that climate change remains the greatest threat of our time.

00:04:47.600 Yes, it's not China. It's not Islamic terrorism. Not any of that stuff. Not disease. It's not instability in Western society. It's the climate.

00:04:59.140 These people do not live on planet Earth, but this is what people like former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mark Carney, who remember was Justin Trudeau's economic advisor for five years, have been playing into for a long time.

00:05:13.660 Mark Carney himself was involved in climate hysteria, and now he's shocked that he's surrounded by such rampant climate activists that they can't even handle him signing a pretty empty pipeline agreement with Danielle Smith.

00:05:28.620 We went over this the other day. He still keeps repeating all the stipulations that he's requiring for the deal to go through. You need to have First Nation consultation. The government of BC needs to agree. You need to increase your industrial carbon taxes. You need to invest 18 to 30 billion dollars in the Pathways project, as well as like there's a bunch of other things that basically end up making this completely like unworkable.

00:05:54.100 And that was not good enough for the climate activists inside of the Liberal Party of Canada.

00:06:00.740 Now, this to me confirms that Stephen Gilbeau is very likely to be resigning in June.

00:06:06.380 The rumor was that he hadn't made up his mind yet, but if he's penning letters behind the scenes telling Carney not to sign this agreement, and then Carney signs the agreement, that feels like the line in Stephen Gilbeau's head has been crossed.

00:06:20.820 Now, it's a very delusional line, but it has been crossed.

00:06:25.740 And now you have, you know, you have D.C. Premier David Eby talking about how we can't reward a separatist premier like Daniel Smith by signing these agreements.

00:06:35.700 It's very clear the entire political hard left is lining up to kill this pipeline.

00:06:42.960 And I really doubt that Mark Carney has the fortitude to stand up to them because he agrees with them.

00:06:49.640 And he has a very slim majority. In fact, I could see a world where Stephen Gilbeau doesn't resign from office. He just goes and crosses over and joins the NDP or the Bloc Québécois or the Green Party. You know, Elizabeth May is going to be retiring at some point. Maybe Stephen Gilbeau can be the new Green King of the country.

00:07:08.880 this could actually work out very badly for Mark Carney even though he didn't even budge an inch

00:07:15.420 on a pipeline he's basically just set a hoop so impossible to jump through saying well technically

00:07:22.240 one day man might grow to 10 feet tall and be able to jump through that hoop but for now we don't

00:07:28.420 know it's like well yeah it's not going to happen because you've made it an impossible task just

00:07:33.040 because hypothetically it could be done doesn't mean it's going to be done and what's been pointed

00:07:37.660 out is that right now, with all the regulations in place, Canadian pipelines are less profitable

00:07:42.860 than American, Qatar, Brazil, UAE. All those pipelines are more profitable in those countries.

00:07:49.740 Saudi Arabia, you name it, they're better. So why would you bother investing in Canada

00:07:55.340 when you have to waste so much time, and by the end, you make 6% profit a year compared to 12%

00:08:00.460 you could make in the UAE or Texas? Come on, people. Anyways, now I just want to jump over to

00:08:06.620 what is kind of like the story within the story about this agreement or about this letter which

00:08:12.780 is the fact that Liberal MPs were allowed to anonymously be not allowed to stay anonymous

00:08:20.060 within the media their names are on the letter the media knows who they are it's not just a

00:08:26.620 source saying they're 14 but they're not naming them the media knows who the 14 are and they

00:08:32.140 won't name them which feels like bad practice from our state broadcaster conservative mp melissa

00:08:38.460 lansman here says liberal mps finally put their name on something and the media instinct is to

00:08:44.540 protect them from accountability from their own letter totally normal stuff guys another response

00:08:50.860 here from chris workington who i believe is the deputy whip for the party says so let me get this

00:08:56.220 straight cbc has a copy of the letter but they've decided to protect the mps who signed it is the

00:09:01.820 the CBC even pretending to be balanced media outlet anymore? Last week, CBC got caught lying

00:09:07.160 to a Conservative MP so he would unwittingly be part of their gross spoof. This week, they are

00:09:12.580 proactively protecting Liberal MPs who actually wrote this letter. This is indefensible and I

00:09:18.920 will never listen to anyone who says the CBC isn't biased. Canadians deserve better. When he was

00:09:24.180 talking about them caught lying to a Conservative MP, of course, they are referring to Aaron Gunn,

00:09:31.140 who was, you know, this counting coup documentary being run by CBC and APTN to try and like

00:09:38.840 embarrass residential school deniers and people who like John A. McDonald or whatever,

00:09:44.440 they tried to get him involved in it. He didn't actually go through with it, but he has all the

00:09:49.060 evidence to prove that they were absolutely blatantly lying to him about what the production

00:09:53.300 was. They also tried to do this to my party leader in British Columbia, one BC leader,

00:09:58.660 Dallas Brody. And then they actually did go after people like Lindsay Shepard and Francis

00:10:03.960 Whittowson and hoaxed them and trapped them into this ridiculous setup where it wasn't even funny.

00:10:10.140 They just dumped children's shoes in front of them or had a John A. McDonald lookalike or actor just

00:10:15.120 say racist things in front of them. And then that was supposed to be a big gotcha. And they did the

00:10:19.700 same thing to retired RCMP officers, which also included a fairly prominent YouTuber, Clinton

00:10:25.920 Jaws, who was brought into a fake live studio audience setup where basically they brought out

00:10:32.700 again a fake King Charles and a fake Prince William to say that they're going to get rid of 0.97

00:10:37.680 the RCMP because they're so racist and horrible. And they had indigenous people come up and say 0.96

00:10:42.320 terrible things about the RCMP and, you know, shake the Prince William actor's hand to prove 1.00

00:10:47.240 that you're on board with this. Humiliating people who have put their lives on the line

00:10:51.680 for decades to protect, to serve and protect Canadians, and you are going to try and humiliate

00:10:57.740 them at the CBC studio in Vancouver. But no, no, no, let's make sure that nobody knows who the 14

00:11:04.100 Liberal MPs are, because that could cause a bigger scandal for Mark Carney and those Liberal MPs,

00:11:09.000 and we don't want to do that. This is just water carrying for the Liberals. This is just

00:11:13.760 basically acting as a communications advisor for the Liberal Party. Oh, you don't want to be named?

00:11:20.980 Oh, don't worry. You don't have to be named. What is that? I would say we're not publishing the letter if we don't get to name people. That's ridiculous. But anyways, so yeah, Mark Carney's in an awkward position because every single day that goes by, it becomes more and more obvious that no pipeline's going to get built.

00:11:41.280 He always knew no pipeline was going to get built, and he is still controlled by the crazy climate activists, because Mark Carney, in fact, is one of them.

00:11:51.140 He was one of the people saying that Canada should keep half of its oil in the ground, that we should be supporting pipelines in Brazil and the UAE, but not in Canada.

00:12:01.180 The guy's a political hack.

00:12:03.020 And the good thing for us is at least he's not very good at being a political hack.

00:12:07.140 Anyways, with all that being said, thank you guys for watching this video.

00:12:10.780 Make sure to like, share, and subscribe, and I'll see you guys all later.
