00:00:00.000 How do I know that Mark Carney and the federal liberals are completely lost right now?
00:00:06.240 Well, two things are simultaneously occurring that always happens whenever the liberal party needs some covering fire.
00:00:13.680 The legacy media is currently attacking Pierre Polyev and the conservatives despite being in the opposition,
00:00:20.860 and the liberals are announcing a bunch of nonsense to try and artificially give themselves some positive momentum
00:00:27.380 after many weeks of screwing everything up, including on the condo bailout and the Gordie
00:00:33.020 Howe Bridge. Here's my first example on the legacy media side of things. This is a political cartoon
00:00:39.860 put out by the Toronto Star. Yes, the Toronto Star is a very left-leaning paper, but my goodness,
00:00:46.860 they are also subsidized by the federal government, and this is how they are currently
00:00:52.280 trying to portray the trade issue right now. It's about Donald Trump playing Pierre Polyev.
00:00:59.340 What? He's not even the Prime Minister. And frankly, if you actually listen to his suggestions
00:01:04.560 on how to get a trade deal, it's not at all what is being depicted here. Yes, it's satirical,
00:01:10.600 but it's not actually satirizing something that's true. It's just making up a smear about
00:01:16.320 pure poly of to distract people from the fact that mark carney sucks at his job so here it says
00:01:22.740 poly of making a trade deal with trump and trump you're saying i'll trade you baltic avenue for
00:01:29.020 all your properties all your houses and hotels and all your money and then it has pure poly of
00:01:34.680 saying that's a good deal i'm sorry this is what mark carney is doing he is the one conceding to
00:01:43.040 Trump for nothing constantly. And I almost can't blame Trump and the Americans for putting the
00:01:49.960 tariffs on Canada, not because I like them, but because, well, from a strategic point of view,
00:01:55.180 if you're the Americans, you put a bunch of tariffs on Canada, you get a bunch of concessions from
00:01:59.780 them for nothing, and then you can remove the tariffs later when they start to really affect
00:02:03.900 your own economy. But this is genuinely what Mark Carney is doing, and yet this is what the Toronto
00:02:10.900 star is depicting. And they're depicting this because Mark Carney is in trouble. They're
00:02:16.280 depicting it because they know that this is true about Mark Carney, but they need to deflect all
00:02:22.620 of the negative energy towards Pierre Polyev and the Conservative Party. Now, there are times to
00:02:28.680 criticize an opposition. I criticize opposition parties around the country. I hammer on Nahid
00:02:34.460 Nenshi and the Alberta NDP because they're ridiculous. I also don't get federal subsidies,
00:02:39.720 and I also try and make my criticisms based on you know facts and evidence you know I actually
00:02:46.500 want to base my takes in the truth it's kind of one of those weird things about me that when I
00:02:52.260 criticize even the NDP you know I actually want to criticize them for things they're actually doing
00:02:57.760 wrong but I want to jump over to the take that Mario Zalaya had over this post I think he did a
00:03:03.280 good way, good job of summing up here. He says, the Toronto Star stars Drew Carney's surrender
00:03:11.380 and put Polyev's face on it. Polyev has never negotiated with Trump. Polyev is not the prime
00:03:18.040 minister. Polyev has never sat across a table from the president of the United States. Mark
00:03:24.120 Carney has. And here is the deals Carney has made with the U.S. Dropping Canada's retaliatory
00:03:29.640 tariffs, dropping the digital services tax on the U.S., handing the U.S. 50 percent of Gordie
00:03:35.520 Howe Bridge's net revenues for 15 years on a billed Canada paid $6.4 billion. They got hit with a 50
00:03:44.040 percent tariff, then got hit by a 50 percent tariff anyways. The Toronto Star exists to run cover for
00:03:49.440 Carney, liberal propaganda at its finest. And I would almost want to know if people who read the
00:03:55.740 toronto star who are liberals see a political cartoon like that and at least have a moment
00:04:00.720 in their minds where they're like well that doesn't quite make any sense maybe they don't
00:04:04.740 quite connect the dots dots the fact that mark carney is the one surrendering but i would hope
00:04:09.900 they would at least look at that and say like well this seems a bit arbitrary it's like you know i
00:04:14.780 just drew the face of a politician i don't like and i'm like hey you suck you're bad enemies of
00:04:22.320 our country like you it's like okay whatever guys now i want to move on to a panel on the cbc recently
00:04:29.200 where where they are talking about what else but pure poly of and the conservatives right now
00:04:35.500 or at least they're making excuses for mark carney i want to jump over to
00:04:39.880 uh i want to jump over to the cbc platforming fred delori a supposed conservative who seems
00:04:47.920 to only ever hack on conservatives and make excuses for liberals.
00:04:52.980 It's funny that it's like the opposite problem for Pierre Paglia.
00:04:57.000 Avi Lewis is having a hard time getting in the media.
00:05:00.060 Pierre's in it for all the wrong reasons.
00:05:02.220 Is the by-election, especially the Shikudomi one,
00:05:05.360 is this an opportunity to sort of re-stamp or potentially, you know,
00:05:10.500 put his leadership at further risk?
00:05:12.480 Now, I'm going to jump ahead to this 20-second mark
00:05:15.060 when Fred DeLore starts answering in a second here.
00:05:17.100 But first, I want to go back and hear how he set that up.
00:05:20.840 It's so hypocritical when you think about it for five seconds.
00:05:24.520 Opposite problem for Pierre Polyev.
00:05:26.660 Avi Lewis is having a hard time getting in the media.
00:05:29.680 Pierre's in it for all the wrong reasons.
00:05:32.320 Pierre's in it for all the wrong reasons.
00:05:34.840 I wonder why.
00:05:36.400 What a concept.
00:05:37.880 Why would Polyev be being covered negatively in the media constantly for no reason?
00:05:42.940 Oh, it's because of your network.
00:05:45.180 It's because of you.
00:05:46.880 It's because of your friends at the Toronto Star and the Globe and Mail and CTV News and Global News.
00:05:53.060 Yes, you guys are artificially covering Polyev in order to take attention away from the things that Mark Carney is doing very poorly.
00:06:01.840 Now, they don't want to give attention to Avi Lewis because, well, he's not really a relevant figure.
00:06:07.420 And if Avi becomes relevant, well, he'll start taking more votes away from the Liberals.
00:06:12.180 But the media knows that Polyev's already a known quantity.
00:06:15.760 It's not like people don't know he exists.
00:06:17.900 So at the very least, they're going to try and kick him constantly
00:06:20.560 and blame him for the things that, in fact, Mark Carney is doing wrong.
00:06:26.220 But we're going to jump ahead so we can hear Fred DeLore's answer to all that.
00:06:30.180 Actually, before I get into that, I just quickly want to mention the normal plugs.

00:06:58.440 southwest calgary i am running for the ucp party nomination for the riding of calgary curry so if
00:07:05.340 you live in that riding click on the link pinned at the top of the comments wyattclaypool.com
00:07:10.180 And if you live in the riding boundaries, I'll make sure to give you a call and let you know what I'm doing and ask you questions about what you think the big issues are in your corner of the riding.
00:07:19.040 I actually just had another person sign up yesterday, and there's about three or four households I got to get back to.
00:07:24.980 If I haven't gotten back to you, it's because right now I'm somewhere where I'm like in a valley and the Internet and cellular absolutely sucks.
00:07:32.600 So forgive me.
00:07:34.320 Anyways, getting back to Fred Delory here.
00:07:37.640 If Conservatives can hold the seat, it certainly sends a message that we're not going backwards, that we're not losing ground.
00:07:44.500 But if we lose it, it may send that message.
00:07:47.000 But, like, is there winning and losing?
00:07:49.560 Like, if they lose the seat but are really competitive and do a good job with a not-as-well-known candidate in a riding where they're not traditionally, like you say, it's a Richard Martel riding.
00:07:59.960 It's not a Conservative riding.
00:08:02.260 Is there a threshold that they can say, well, that, we did well, or it's a loss?
00:08:06.260 been the message for the last year look how great he did losing last year imagine that fred delori
00:08:12.500 is the conservative on the panel and he won't even agree to the cbc hosts premise that is there a way
00:08:18.820 for polyev to come out of this and say you know what we actually did well we're battling the
00:08:23.700 liberals back we're gaining momentum again he he is the conservative on the panel yes he is no tool
00:08:29.700 conservative but he's the conservative on the panel and he just laughs off the idea that there's
00:08:34.260 any way for Paliyev to take a win out of winning back Shakutami Le Fjord if they actually do win
00:08:40.580 it back there's no way for him to take a win out of any of these by-elections there absolutely is
00:08:45.280 if the conservatives do better in North Vancouver Capilano than they did in the 2025 election
00:08:50.580 even if they don't win it they can absolutely take pride in that and call it a victory if they
00:08:55.840 gain ground in Beaches East York they can call it a victory they should just learn to call to be
00:09:01.580 able to claim victory pretty much no matter what as long as they don't go backwards that is what
00:09:07.660 it takes to beat the liberals it's an attritional war against the liberal party but fred delori
00:09:12.800 doesn't want polioff to be able to take a win because he's anti-polioff he is aligned with
00:09:17.800 people like cory tanaik and nick cuvales and others who want to get rid of pierre polioff
00:09:22.300 and replace him with like jason kenny doug ford mark malroney and i've also heard leo housaka
00:09:28.860 around and that's no shot at leo hussakis this is just the sort of names i hear are favored by
00:09:35.180 these sorts of individuals not that leo hussakis is specifically scheming himself for the last year
00:09:40.640 look how great he did losing last year wasn't that amazing yeah we lost the election last year and
00:09:45.480 we're you know we still celebrate that for some reason um i don't think we can do that for this
00:09:49.880 by-election it is look the saguenay region we traditionally do have a seat there the conservative
00:09:53.840 party for since the new party was created uh in the early 2000s we've always been competitive in
00:09:58.540 region and always almost always held the seat in that region so losing this will be no question
00:10:04.060 uh bad for the party and it will be bad for poliev it'll be something we'll have to communicate
00:10:08.360 somehow and why did we lose this notice it's already a retreat message from fred delori
00:10:13.900 we don't even focus on if this is even good he can even declare victory if he wins it even by
00:10:19.200 a larger margin we laugh that off and we just talk about how how bad it would be if he ended
00:10:24.980 up losing the riding and nobody celebrates the loss in 2025 what people sometimes do is when
00:10:31.700 people are hammering on polyev and the conservatives saying they're incredibly unpopular people don't
00:10:37.700 like them they highlight well we didn't exactly lose an election like 45 to 32. it was lost 41
00:10:46.100 and a half to like 43 and a half it was a pretty close election and in fact the conservatives had
00:10:53.620 a fairly efficient vote and they were only 8 000 votes away in the closest ridings from having a
00:11:00.260 minority government the number of votes in the closest ridings that make up the margin for the
00:11:06.660 liberals minority government is only 8 000 votes in my riding of calgary signal hill our conservative
00:11:13.700 candidate gets 36 000 votes to get elected and we literally have only 8 000 maybe it's a little
00:11:19.700 more after some recounts and and mail-in votes were counted but it was very tight in the competitive
00:11:25.700 battleground ridings that existed yes there were other conservative ridings that we won and was by
00:11:30.960 squeaker margin but still it just represents there's a big area of swing in canadian elections
00:11:36.960 and it's not that the liberals won decisively some areas they did other areas they were barely
00:11:42.520 holding on and in some ridings they lost them to the conservatives that the conservatives hadn't
00:11:47.040 held uh like they had like lost regions to the conservatives the conservatives didn't have any
00:11:52.440 seats in for the longest time like the windsor area but now let's jump over to another clip
00:11:58.860 from the cbc this is robert fife again making more excuses for the liberals not getting a trade deal
00:12:05.020 with donald trump this is forever always going to be the thing that the media goes to ah trump's
00:12:10.440 under predictable ah do you even really want to deal with these people like i don't know they
00:12:15.320 promised it though so why are we letting them off the hook if nothing gets resolved and because
00:12:21.840 at all at the end of the day it comes down to donald trump right there is a growing call from
00:12:27.260 very respected people in this country that canada will have to retaliate in the new york times last
00:12:33.480 week christopher freeland did a very really good article on the necessity to be prepared to
00:12:39.520 retaliate against the americans scotty greenwald who was the former uh head of the canada american
00:12:46.320 business council wrote an article saying i love america but from canada's from canada's perspective
00:12:53.020 you've got to be prepared to now hit back at the americans dub ford has been saying this for quite
00:12:59.600 some time uh and he's delusional i'm sorry i'm not anti-counter tariff it could be used as a tool
00:13:08.260 to try and get towards a deal but the problem is we obviously could get to a deal because we've
00:13:13.480 been making concessions to the americans in in exchange for nothing but willingness to make
00:13:18.900 concessions should be signaling a willingness to make a deal but we're acting as if like we have
00:13:25.520 some sort of united front and not wanting to capitulate we're already capitulating so why
00:13:30.560 don't we capitulate a little bit in order to get a deal and it wouldn't even be capitulation
00:13:34.940 capitulation it's just horse trading at that point you want us to get rid of supply management
00:13:39.980 well we want softwood lumber tariffs off you want us to rip up our deal with china well we want you
00:13:45.180 to do this or that we you don't want american companies to have to uh contribute to legacy
00:13:50.920 media you know canadian uh productions cultural like media productions okay well we'll get rid
00:13:57.580 of that but you have to get rid of steel tariffs this can be worked out but for some reason we
00:14:02.660 have like the worst possible strategy where we talk tough on the surface and we like you know
00:14:09.100 rhetorically jab back and forth with the americans and then we give them things for nothing and when
00:14:15.160 he said at the start well you know at the end of the day it all comes down to donald trump
00:14:18.300 no it doesn't no it doesn't i'm sorry we live in a world where we have agency this is a world that
00:14:25.080 has like you know physical reality exists we're not living in donald trump's universe where we're
00:14:30.220 all a bunch of vapors and he's the only like real thing that exists we can do things we can
00:14:36.720 engage in hardball negotiate negotiations and i think it's rather telling that we don't show up
00:14:43.320 to the meetings the mexicans do and the mexicans are far more along uh are far more along in getting
00:14:50.580 a good deal for their economy than we are because carney is too scared of donald trump to actually
00:14:57.420 even approach the table seeing that from david eby in british columbia so you're starting to see
00:15:02.980 a consensus of putting pressure on uh carney if nothing gets resolved by that deadline that it
00:15:11.040 may be that canada is going to start or at least they're trying to give the prime minister the
00:15:15.560 backbone to be able to uh retaliate and i think that's i think that's probably something that's
00:15:20.640 to be seriously on the table with what with what because we've already admitted that we can't just
00:15:28.080 cut off mineral and oil and gas exports to the united states we would be broke very quickly and
00:15:33.760 that's not feasible when it comes to the oil and gas industry where you can't just like you're like
00:15:38.480 you're leaving town for a while and shutting off your water and you'll come back and turn it on
00:15:42.320 whenever you can't do that with oil and gas production so that's off the table we would
00:15:47.600 destroy our mineral extraction industries if we just stopped exporting those to the Americans,
00:15:53.120 so what else? Okay, I guess we're going to match their tariffs. Okay, well, we are a mostly raw
00:15:59.040 resource exporting economy relative to the United States, so us putting tariffs on their steel,
00:16:05.760 aluminum, and other sorts of raw resources like softwood doesn't do anything to them, really.
00:16:12.240 oh my goodness like this it's just delusional and the people watching this stuff if they take it
00:16:19.960 seriously have a completely backwards are being fed not just a backwards idea of how trade
00:16:26.980 negotiations should work but a completely contradictory perspective on how they work
00:16:32.020 that we you know we both carney somehow doing a good job by talking tough and conceding constantly
00:16:38.140 but they're never told that Carney's making all these concessions yet sometimes gets brought up
00:16:42.340 with like the Gordie Howe bridge thing coming to a head but outside of that where is the person on
00:16:47.480 the panel criticizing Carney for constantly like seemingly giving Trump what he wants for nothing
00:16:53.280 in return but whatever now I'm just kind of getting wound up I have to move on to this new this other
00:16:58.460 take from somebody who I actually kind of used to follow and like a lot of what he said he seems to
00:17:04.260 have just become a contrarian liberal. He used to be a conservative. He actually at one point was a
00:17:09.380 Manitoba liberal type, and then he became a conservative, and now he seems to have gone
00:17:14.880 back towards being a liberal again. And that's Spencer Fernando. And I think in a certain
00:17:20.220 positive sense, he has very nicely summed up the sort of contradictory liberal position on trade.
00:17:28.260 This is what I was kind of getting at a little bit before with Robert Fyfe.
00:17:31.300 he says the trump administration has exploited our over-dependence on the united states
00:17:37.660 deepening that over-dependence through the pursuit of a fortress north america strategy
00:17:41.820 would be a significant mistake now do you see how this is one of the dumbest things you've
00:17:48.500 ever read this entire week and i'll sum it up for you with my own post i made in response to this
00:17:55.180 because it's quite simple i said here boo the u.s made it more difficult to trade and then i followed
00:18:03.100 up with boo don't make it easier to trade with the usa many such takes on canadian social media
00:18:09.100 this is like the laura babcock charlie angus ideology summed up screw the u.s for having
00:18:17.420 tariffed us and also screw them for wanting to trade with us because we don't want your dirty
00:18:22.140 anti-american products and they can claim that well no i only don't want to be to be trading with
00:18:28.340 the u.s since they broke our trust with the tariffs it's like okay well they're irreplaceable
00:18:33.660 so that's just emotional and irrational and also these people were anti-american well before this
00:18:41.220 the tariffs gave them an excuse to be more loud about the fact that they don't want to trade with
00:18:46.000 the united states they don't want to travel to the united states and they think that donald trump is
00:18:50.580 the root of all evil on this planet, to the point that they were supporting the Venezuelan
00:18:55.800 dictatorship when Donald Trump begged Nicolas Maduro. They support Iran. They support every
00:19:02.800 basically dictatorship around the planet, maybe except for Russia, simply to spite Donald Trump.
00:19:08.780 And the Russia thing doesn't even make any sense since Trump is extremely hard on Russia.
00:19:13.840 But I'm not going to try and explain the mental gymnastics these people engage in
00:19:19.540 to somehow think that trump is on putin's side but whatever anyways now we got to get move on to
00:19:26.900 the other thing that is currently going on in uh in canadian politics right now and that is the
00:19:33.500 liberals announcing a bunch of stuff it's very exciting everyone there's tons of things being
00:19:38.040 announced here we have just a bunch of posts like this coming out where carney is back to his old
00:19:45.300 pattern of saying we have a bunch of investments they're all catalyzing in canada right now i can't
00:19:50.980 show you them but they're definitely happening carney here says we're moving with speed and
00:19:56.660 ambition to build a stronger more resilient more independent canadian economy that's why we're
00:20:01.620 working to modernize and expand the port of vancouver unleashing over 100 billion dollars
00:20:06.660 in new annual trade capacity and creating more than 17 000 good jobs now one could say hey wyatt
00:20:14.100 what's so wrong with him announcing this it's good for them to invest in expanding
00:20:18.580 the port of vancouver's export import capacity fair enough i have no problem with that but
00:20:23.780 he's already announced this like a billion times at this point and he and i love how he just gets
00:20:29.620 to name a number of how much how many dollars we're going to bring into the economy when all
00:20:34.740 those things are just like so far away from actually happening it's just parody at this
00:20:40.900 point let's go to another post by Mark Carney here is a oh here's this one where he's walking
00:20:46.980 through a building with some people wearing hard hats and safety vests and he's saying here
00:20:52.540 we're investing in our communities that means community centers where your kids can play
00:20:58.280 safely on the weekend it means more hospitals so you don't have to drive two hours when your child
00:21:02.620 is sick and it means new transit that reduces traffic and cuts your commute home because
00:21:07.440 building Canada strong starts with building stronger communities. And this is just because
00:21:11.540 they basically sent out a bunch of grants for the provinces. Again, on its surface, okay, fine,
00:21:17.640 fair enough, you can announce this. But he's announced this a billion times. For every dollar
00:21:24.020 he claims that these things are going to generate, he's basically announced it that many times.
00:21:29.020 A hundred billion dollars, he will keep re-announcing that same investment a hundred
00:21:33.920 billion times even though he'll admit many of these things are sometimes decades away from
00:21:40.480 actually happening uh here is him uh here's him uh uh in this other post also again trying to
00:21:48.560 trumpet some investments that haven't actually happened yet mark carney says we're transforming
00:21:52.800 our economy and some of the biggest payoffs will take time that's why we're focusing on giving
00:21:57.760 canadians a boost today and a bridge to a better tomorrow wow what a what poetry in motion guys
00:22:03.920 We have the right plan across those major projects across affordable housing to build Canada strong.
00:22:10.940 We're on track.
00:22:12.520 But the scale of the transformation is so large that it means some of the biggest payoffs are going to take some time.
00:22:19.460 And that's where we're also focused on giving Canadians a boost today and a bridge to a better tomorrow.
00:22:25.320 Boost today means the grocery rebate, by the way.
00:22:28.480 The grocery rebate and the current half a percent cut in your income taxes, only under $50,000.
00:22:36.240 And also, he's already added other new taxes that basically eliminate, nullify those benefits that you're getting.
00:22:44.300 That's why we've cut taxes on incomes, on housing, on gas, and on investment.
00:22:49.280 That's why we've introduced the groceries as an essential benefit.
00:22:52.740 I didn't even preview this video.
00:22:54.400 I just knew that those were the things he was going to grasp for.
00:22:57.360 half a percent tax cut in a few years it might go up to a full percent tax cut under 50 000
00:23:02.800 and you get a grocery rebate woo you get a grocery rebate guys yet we can't just cut the gst and
00:23:10.580 corporate taxes and all brackets of income tax to make everything cheaper right now and start
00:23:16.460 growing the economy massively because that would be a smart idea carney likes going to ribbon
00:23:22.800 cuttings and he likes being able to subsidize his friends companies so instead we're going to
00:23:27.180 keep taxes high so he can package up money and send it to people that he likes for projects that
00:23:32.740 he admits are not going to be done for a long time. Up to $1,890 per family. And that's why
00:23:39.500 we will continue with a relentless focus on affordability, whether it's competition in
00:23:44.440 broadband or building affordable electricity. What a maverick, guys. What a maverick. He's
00:23:52.160 just so cool mark carney's so cool i i made this parody post a little bit before i made this video
00:23:58.640 because i just find this all so funny uh because actually this is another thing that liberals just
00:24:03.180 posted uh this is from the liberal party's account and it says power and growth and bringing down
00:24:08.820 costs for canadians and it's a graphic that says our new national electric strategy doubling can
00:24:14.260 does electricity grid by 2050 and lowering total energy costs for seven out of seven out of ten
00:24:19.960 households is that implying that three out of ten households might actually have their costs go up
00:24:24.960 i don't know but it's 2050 so what does it even matter and so that's why i posted this i said
00:24:33.480 the carny liberals special wwe move seems to have just become announcing quote we've got big stuff
00:24:41.120 going on unquote but the date for them to actually get anything done is at least one term away from
00:24:47.040 even starting and multiple terms away from getting finished wow politics is easy i declare i will
00:24:53.640 catalyze 200 trillion dollars into canada's economy through investment in underwater farming
00:24:59.540 ventures this will be done by the year 2080 you are not allowed to criticize me until that date
00:25:05.240 and until then i will be taking an extended victory lap for all the theoretical wealth i've
00:25:09.720 created. That is like borderline outside of just the satirical hyperbole. That is borderline what
00:25:17.240 the liberals are doing. Yes, we keep giving away massive concessions to the United States for
00:25:22.840 absolutely nothing. And if we actually made a deal, you'd benefit massively right now from
00:25:27.680 freer trade. Yes, we could lower taxes. Yes, we could do all these things. But we're going to give
00:25:34.960 brazil 125 million dollars because it will help somehow in the next like 50 000 years at some
00:25:45.120 point in the next 50 000 years we will be benefited by a bunch of money going to brazil right now
00:25:51.820 to what expand a port in somewhere in south america so that we can trade more to them
00:25:57.760 no that would be practical that is not what we are doing i'm trying to find to see if i can find
00:26:03.060 the post here uh doesn't even matter oh can i find it i'll be able to find it a second but
00:26:07.960 we are sending brazil a country with an economy within a rounding error of being the same size
00:26:17.300 as canada yes per capita they're smaller but overall their gdp is basically the same as canada
00:26:22.660 and we are giving them 125 million dollars to fight climate change that is something that we
00:26:32.500 really did how does it help us shut up it helps us somehow stop being skeptical be amazed start
00:26:42.780 loving carney more uh i need to find the post now because you guys need to see it to believe it
00:26:48.240 okay guys i found it now feast your eyes on this you filthy man animals look from six buzz canada
00:26:56.920 announced more than $125 million in funding for Brazil to support climate initiatives and
00:27:03.640 strengthen cooperation between the two countries. How about they just cooperate with us without us
00:27:09.840 having to pay off those socialist terror supporters? Brazil is an absolutely awful
00:27:16.200 country to be partnering with right now. It's run by a socialist loon bag, and their economy
00:27:22.900 is just not great right now how about we partner with chile how about we partner with peru they
00:27:29.600 just elected a more conservative free market government under keiko fujimori how do we work
00:27:34.960 with argentina with javier mele he wouldn't require a government bribe to work with him
00:27:39.800 that would be great and as i parodied this up here i said no doubt this will help catalyze 200
00:27:46.560 billion in Canada's economy by the year 2175. But that's everything they're doing. It's a bunch of
00:27:54.300 money. The Alto train, it's the pipeline, it's a lot of these things. And again, I don't blame
00:27:58.860 Danielle Smith for wanting to at least get the federal government to start speaking positively
00:28:04.020 on pipelines. And maybe she thinks the sacrifice she's making right now are going to get us to the
00:28:08.720 point where pipelines are so normalized in federal politics, any government would be willing to build
00:28:13.180 them with no strings attached I don't like the strings attached right now I just don't and I'm
00:28:18.300 running for a UCP nomination but I'll always be honest about the fact I don't like a lot of things
00:28:22.780 about the MOU and I think at some point and maybe this is her strategy so I don't want to step on
00:28:27.420 anyone's toes maybe her strategy at some point will be pulling back on Carney and saying I've
00:28:31.880 been doing many of the things that you want now I need pipe in the ground and I'm going to pause
00:28:36.560 all of the things you want me to do until that starts getting done if she at least did that
00:28:40.940 that would be so much better but right now i think that the whole strategy is still a bit foggy here
00:28:46.100 but overall when it comes to liberals everything is always oh we have a pipeline oh we have an
00:28:51.060 auto train oh we have like a this or that big major project announcement oh we have this new
00:28:57.480 trade initiative with qatar or indonesia and it is expected to generate number by year and that
00:29:05.780 year is never in like our lifetimes at this point and and rather suspiciously every time
00:29:11.580 Carney promises something big it's like when he's not even prime minister anymore that it's actually
00:29:16.820 going to get complete oh yeah it's just going to take 15 years you know a normal amount of time
00:29:23.100 for me to see something through like that anyways that should be it for today's video guys thank you
00:29:31.720 for watching make sure to like share subscribe let me know what you think about all this in the
00:29:37.260 comments below and if you want to become a member of the channel hit the join button below the video
00:29:43.000 it really helps make the channel more sustainable for me and again if you live in southwest calgary
00:29:48.920 in the provincial riding of calgary curry make sure to sign up at my website pinned at the top
00:29:55.140 the comments wyattclaypool.com and i'll make sure to give you a call and give you the lay of the
00:29:59.380 land for me running for that UCP nomination. I've been doing a lot of studying of the riding and I
00:30:05.700 actually have what I consider to be a fairly intricate plan to try and soften up the parts
00:30:09.980 of the riding that usually don't like UCP and how to strengthen the UCP in the areas that we're
00:30:14.280 already doing quite well in. It's an eminently winnable riding but I think so many people in
00:30:19.460 kind of conservative world in Alberta see it as dead on arrival. There's no really point in trying
00:30:25.080 too hard for it. It's absolutely winnable. And the candidate who is currently the NDP's incumbent
00:30:31.260 has a massive Achilles heel. And it's the fact that she is a crazy drug advocate at a time when
00:30:37.800 the UCP's pro rehab approach to drugs is working out amazingly, like literally drug deaths down
00:30:45.120 60% since they last won office. And this lady thinks we should bring back drug consumption
00:30:52.480 sites expand them and also bring in safe supply drugs and flood the streets with free government
00:30:58.460 crack that's what I'm running against and I think that even in the more urban areas that lean NDP
00:31:04.740 that's not going to fly with them because they've now been able to live with a far better safer
00:31:10.220 environment under the UCP that the NDP can't compete with but anyways so with that being said
00:31:16.260 thank you guys for watching and I'll see you all later
