00:00:00.000 Hey guys, Wyatt Claypool here.
00:00:03.040 So Mark Carney has stuck his foot in his mouth once again,
00:00:06.340 and I think there is a real path here for the Conservative Party and Pierre Polyev
00:00:10.920 to not just win a majority government,
00:00:13.860 but win the size of a majority that they were previously on path to win
00:00:18.060 back when Justin Trudeau was still the Liberal Party leader.
00:00:22.360 You see, Mark Carney sucks at talking.
00:00:25.920 So I think the grand strategy that the Conservatives need to employ
00:00:29.460 to destroy Mark Carney is let the guy talk.
00:00:33.560 I'm going to cut to video in just a second of Mark Carney at a press conference in a Calhoun
00:00:38.980 where he fell absolutely all over himself being asked a simple question about Donald Trump.
00:00:44.620 Because Carney, unless he has 100% rehearsed every word he is going to say,
00:00:50.120 he stumbles all over himself.
00:00:52.580 This is what the Conservatives need to exploit in attack ads.
00:00:55.720 This is what Pierre Polyev needs to exploit on the debate stage.
00:00:58.720 The debate is going to be an absolute bloodbath if Pierre Polyev lays his cards right.
00:01:04.760 So just a second, I'm about to play this video, but guys, just a reminder,
00:01:08.700 remember to like this video, subscribe to the channel if you're not yet a subscriber,
00:01:13.040 you know, subscribe if you like all these political updates, especially my polling videos,
00:01:16.660 and then also leave a comment on what you think about my thesis
00:01:20.200 about how the Conservatives should be playing it if they want to win a majority.
00:01:24.120 But here is Mark Carney in a Calhoun with, you know, honestly, I'm jealous of his sweater,
00:01:29.640 but just being asked a simple question about Donald Trump and absolutely sputtering all over himself for an entire minute.
00:01:36.820 You will have a call with President Trump in the coming days.
00:01:40.300 What are your expectations for the president in that call?
00:01:43.800 Well, I think, let me say a few things.
00:01:51.060 The first is that the president of the United States, the prime minister of Canada,
00:01:55.680 but certainly the president of the United States has many responsibilities and there are many issues.
00:01:59.580 I can think of many geo-strategic issues that the president is helping to lead on.
00:02:08.460 And you can think of events most recently with respect to the Houthis and all the way through to trade and other aspects.
00:02:17.820 So there's a wide range of issues to be discussed when we do connect.
00:02:21.800 With respect to trade, I look forward to, at the appropriate time,
00:02:32.040 the appropriate time having a discussion as two sovereign nations that is comprehensive, not targeted at one issue.
00:02:41.320 Is this guy actually running to be the prime minister?
00:02:46.160 Like, I know he's technically the prime minister now,
00:02:48.480 but is this guy actually running to be the prime minister in this next federal election?
00:02:52.700 Or is he a beauty contest participant?
00:02:56.600 What? That was nothing.
00:02:59.220 That was the most vapid thing I've ever heard a prime minister say,
00:03:03.800 and we've just had Justin Trudeau as the prime minister for nine and a half years.
00:03:09.200 Maybe the drink box water bottle thing might be dumber,
00:03:13.140 but considering that this was him talking about, like, the key issue of the election,
00:03:19.620 trade with the United States and Donald Trump, and he whiffed it that bad,
00:03:23.740 the conservatives need to make 50 ads out of this.
00:03:28.700 Do you know what the ad should be, guys?
00:03:30.440 It should be playing that clip of him and saying,
00:03:33.800 can this guy negotiate with Donald Trump?
00:03:36.780 Playing clips of him sputtering about on other issues,
00:03:39.500 saying, is this guy going to stand up to Xi Jinping in China?
00:03:44.100 Having him, like, dodging about his, like, conflicts of interest with his investments
00:03:50.280 and saying, do you trust this man to manage Canada's finances when he won't show us his own?
00:03:56.820 That's all the Conservative Party needs to do.
00:03:59.800 Constantly ask questions and then punctuate those questions
00:04:03.500 with his rambling non-answers and vapid, empty rhetoric.
00:04:08.840 Mark Carney is considered a very intellectual guy.
00:04:12.280 He's not.
00:04:13.500 He talks to vapid people in high-minded, academic-sounding ways,
00:04:18.700 but he doesn't actually know what he's talking about.
00:04:22.160 This was horrible.
00:04:23.500 Let's go back to the start when that question ends.
00:04:26.020 He literally has to basically just say the president, the prime minister, the president multiple times.
00:04:30.920 Well, I think, let me say a few things.
00:04:37.880 That should be the conservative ad.
00:04:39.800 Just that.
00:04:40.940 Is this guy equipped to negotiate with Donald Trump?
00:04:44.420 And then just playing him saying, um, um, I think, um, uh, he seems like somebody who would be the nervous prime minister candidate,
00:04:53.760 like, uh, the nervous prime minister in a terrible TV movie that they didn't work too hard on,
00:04:59.220 that they have to make him nerdy.
00:05:01.060 So he kind of looks like a small, like, thin accountant, and he's constantly, you know, stammering, and he doesn't quite know what to say.
00:05:08.980 It's like bad TV movie acting, except this is real life, and this guy's the actual prime minister.
00:05:14.240 So I have been pitching this to the conservative party, and if you know a conservative MP, pitch this to them too.
00:05:20.940 Have them say, please play clips of Mark Carney fumbling all over the place as TV ads, and say,
00:05:26.740 is this guy really going to be the prime minister?
00:05:29.060 Is this guy going to stand up against Putin?
00:05:31.520 Is this guy going to stand up against Trump?
00:05:33.840 Is this guy going to stand up against Xi?
00:05:36.300 He'll fall apart when any of those questions are being asked.
00:05:39.300 So many people, on more of the left side, are looking for the person who's tough against Trump.
00:05:45.220 I think it's kind of a silly issue, because the trade thing, I believe, is going to dissipate over time.
00:05:49.560 At the same time, if that's going to be one of the top three election issues,
00:05:53.220 that means that this is going to be a positive Polyev issue.
00:05:56.400 On the debate stage, just like actually when Donald Trump was debating Joe Biden,
00:06:01.420 or Donald Trump was debating Kamala Harris,
00:06:04.020 not that Polyev and Trump are the same person, there's nobody like Trump on this planet,
00:06:08.240 but Polyev has to make sure to not cut off Mark Carney ever.
00:06:13.580 Ask him open-ended questions, and let Mark Carney respond like that.
00:06:18.100 Enough of an open-ended question that you don't think he has a pre-rehearsed canned answer for it.
00:06:23.660 Ask him something with enough of a complex twist
00:06:26.420 that he is going to not be able to even find his bearings in the 30 seconds he is given to respond.
00:06:31.900 This guy is not made for TV, and the conservatives need to exploit that.
00:06:37.700 I have been the one saying that the conservatives are really not doing as bad in the polls as people think.
00:06:42.940 If you find the right pollsters who have the right sample sizes and methodologies,
00:06:48.220 you will get numbers that are accurate.
00:06:50.920 When a pollster shows the liberals are at 16, then they're at 29, then they're at 43,
00:06:55.500 that's a pollster whose sample is too infected by people who are very emotional about politics
00:07:01.720 and prone to swinging their votes.
00:07:03.680 That's not how the typical person decides who they're going to vote for.
00:07:06.780 If a news cycle changes like 35% of people's voting habits in a week, that means it's a bad poll.
00:07:14.960 That means that it is not actually polling average people.
00:07:17.920 But right now, I do think the conservatives have vulnerabilities.
00:07:21.820 I've never shied away from that.
00:07:23.900 There are areas where the conservatives could fumble everything they have.
00:07:27.340 In fact, by the way, conservatives, please stop inserting terrible candidates into nominations around the country
00:07:34.520 who are bad at campaigning and objectively could not get elected if they ran their nominations straight.
00:07:40.280 We have this Sukman Gill guy in Abbotsford South Langley who was literally a liberal back last year
00:07:46.340 and only got his membership to become a conservative candidate like five or four months ago.
00:07:51.120 It's ridiculous.
00:07:51.780 And now the entire riding might rebel against him because he's so obviously a fake candidate
00:07:57.160 when there were so many better people in the race against him.
00:08:00.620 And he got artificially propped up by some arrogant MPs who think this is their party now
00:08:05.040 and they're going around trying to select people.
00:08:08.000 And so if they stop doing that crap and then they focus on this crap of what Carney's like.
00:08:15.060 The first is that the president of the United States, the prime minister of Canada,
00:08:19.800 but certainly the president of the United States has.
00:08:21.520 This guy can't win if you focus on this.
00:08:23.920 It's just the worst thing you've ever seen in your life.
00:08:27.700 Just focus on this.
00:08:29.680 The carbon tax is still an issue.
00:08:31.560 You can talk about the industrial carbon tax.
00:08:33.800 I've even said that's a good angle.
00:08:35.500 Go after Carney for not getting rid of the industrial carbon tax when in fact by not getting rid of it,
00:08:40.640 he's basically saying, yeah, the Americans can have more of our industry
00:08:43.800 because we're too busy punishing our industry to keep them.
00:08:46.620 Do that, but mostly focus on how Mark Carney is this giant question mark of a candidate.
00:08:52.480 We don't know if he's competent.
00:08:54.040 We don't know if he's corrupt.
00:08:55.520 We don't really even know how much of an effect he actually had on the economy
00:08:58.900 over the last five years when he was the economic advisor.
00:09:02.360 Just keep putting that big question mark on Mark Carney and make him the big issue of the election.
00:09:09.000 Because what the liberals are trying to do now is they're trying to say,
00:09:11.780 because Paul Yev is more of a red meat conservative, that means he's like Donald Trump
00:09:16.080 and he's going to sell out the country.
00:09:17.940 Utterly nonsense.
00:09:19.380 But what you do is you don't start defending yourself.
00:09:21.900 You start proving that this guy is such a weakling.
00:09:24.380 Carney is such a weakling, he'd let anyone walk into this country and have their way.
00:09:29.120 Take over all of our industries.
00:09:30.960 Buy up all of our farmland.
00:09:32.840 They're not even willing to stand up to China trying to levy 100% tariffs on our canola oil
00:09:37.680 and seafood products.
00:09:39.300 That's crazy that he's not standing up to them.
00:09:41.980 So just keep putting that big question mark over Mark Carney that he's a weakling
00:09:45.420 who can't stand up to people.
00:09:47.540 And we don't even know if he is up to something nefarious behind the scenes
00:09:51.980 with the assets that he won't disclose to Canadians.
00:09:55.600 So anyways, that should be it for me today, guys.
00:09:58.700 Those are just my ideas on what the Conservative Party needs to be doing.
00:10:02.560 I thought this was, you know, I like to talk about strategy, not just the news.
00:10:05.660 But the news just coincided with a good strategy I think I have for the Conservatives.
00:10:10.500 Even then, guys, you can employ this as an individual.
00:10:13.440 You have liberal friends.
00:10:14.880 Just say, have you seen the videos of him stuttering?
00:10:16.940 I don't want that guy negotiating with Donald Trump.
00:10:19.200 He's going to give away the entire farm because he doesn't seem like he could negotiate
00:10:23.040 like a price at a flea market.
00:10:25.220 He seems like he'd get taken advantage of by anyone.
00:10:28.300 So that's that with, for me, guys, like the video, subscribe to the channel,
00:10:32.740 leave a comment, do all that great stuff, and I'll see you guys tomorrow.
00:10:35.660 Thank you.
00:10:38.020 I hope you've enjoyed returning me to the channel.
00:10:41.340 I hope you've enjoyed returning me to the YouTube channel.
00:10:43.800 So here's what I'm doing.
