00:00:24.980 but a few weeks ago, I started working for then independent MLA Tara Armstrong. She is now one of
00:00:33.100 two MLAs alongside Dallas Brody who have formed the one BC party that is meant to actually have
00:00:40.620 a conservative voice inside the legislature. The BC Conservative Party has a lot of good
00:00:45.780 conservatives in it, but that party is being ruled by a small coterie of very woke former BC liberal
00:00:52.940 MLAs who don't want anyone saying anything conservative at all, even if it was things
00:00:59.240 that the conservatives in fact ran on in the 2024 BC provincial election. To give you an example of
00:01:06.260 just how weird the party has gotten under John Rustad since the election happened, in the election
00:01:12.660 they ran on scrapping DRIPA, the Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous People that basically allows for
00:01:19.000 ban councils to hold up any resource project they want based on an extremely expansive definition
00:01:25.020 of what land title is and what their rights and the regulations they can implement on that land are.
00:01:31.660 And then also there is SOGI, the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity, you know, one, two, three,
00:01:38.340 basically curriculum. It's not really curriculum, I guess it's more a program attached to the curriculum.

00:01:50.480 they're against DRIPA, but in the same breath like John Rustad has done, he will then say,

00:01:58.840 more insane version of DRIPA that was what the NDP basically implemented to try and fall in line with
00:02:05.640 UNDRIP. And then on SOGI, while again they will complain about SOGI in the legislature,
00:02:11.480 they have put forward a bill that I actually read a couple of weeks ago, or maybe it was just last
00:02:17.160 week, but the conservatives just want to modify SOGI 1, 2, 3 now. SOGI is fully bad. It needs to
00:02:24.400 be repealed, and that is in part why 1BC exists. Have a party that's actually saying, scrap it all,
00:02:30.440 replace it with nothing. We don't need this in schools at all. But the conservatives just want
00:02:35.520 to take age-inappropriate materials out of libraries and not even mandate it happen, form some
00:02:41.240 sort of body or committee that will observe or oversee the materials that are being put into
00:02:47.260 schools and deem if things are age-appropriate or not. By the way, none of it's age-appropriate at
00:02:52.740 all. Just because you're not putting pornography into libraries doesn't mean the book's contents are
00:02:57.160 appropriate, but that's basically what the conservatives care about. Just take the pornography 0.96
00:03:00.800 out of the libraries that elementary school students and middle school students can see,
00:03:04.860 and then SOGI's fine. That was just a particularly bad symptom of SOGI. The entire thing is bad and
00:03:10.960 needs to be cut out, but now because Eleanor Sturko is the person who oversees all social policy 1.00
00:03:17.140 in the party and will scold people if they say anything socially conservative, the party has now
00:03:22.020 retreated and is saying that there's just inappropriate books in schools that we need to get rid of,

00:04:00.360 is that the leadership of the party, the small coterie of woke MLAs who run the party and the
00:04:06.420 executive, have turned it into effectively a semi-dictatorship. The annual general meeting
00:04:13.440 of the party that took place on March 1st of this year was a clown show. They started taking away
00:04:21.180 credentials, delegate credentials from people who tried to apply. They revoked people's memberships.
00:04:27.680 They told people they weren't allowed to come. And then on the day of the AGM, after telling a bunch
00:04:32.900 of grassroots people who worked hard for the party and has been loyalists for the party from well
00:04:37.100 before John Rustad ever showed up, they told them not to show up. But on the day of the AGM,
00:04:42.420 they had 100 plus South Asian guys show up who clearly were not big party supporters. They were not
00:04:49.300 there to interact with anyone. They showed up late in the morning and they left pretty much after the
00:04:54.320 voting for the board election and the constitution, didn't interact with anyone but each other. They
00:04:59.000 showed up, voted for who John wanted them to vote for, and then left. That's something that has
00:05:04.520 happened. And that's all another reason why 1BC exists. And the people on the 1BC team, including
00:05:10.380 the MLAs and independent MLA, Jordan Keeley, have been pushing to expose what happened at the AGM
00:05:16.880 because grassroots membership, the grassroots of the BC conservatives, should be made aware of the fact
00:05:22.160 that they were cheated and their party leader doesn't care about their opinions. And if they
00:05:26.800 don't want to do exactly what he wants to do, he'll kick a bunch of them out, bus in a bunch of fake 0.85
00:05:31.200 delegates and pass whatever board he wants and make whatever changes to his constitution that he wants.
00:05:37.280 This has culminated in Mr. Rustad accusing us of blackmail. Yes, we are blackmailing them by asking
00:05:46.680 them to stop raking internal party elections. It says, John Rustad accuses former BC conservative
00:05:51.960 MLAs of blackmail. In a letter, Rustad tells conservative caucus their former colleagues and
00:05:57.240 staff are threatening to release blackmail material, including secret phone recordings and text messages.
00:06:04.280 To say this is a lie would put it mildly. John Rustad is writing a very fine line between crazy
00:06:13.000 accusations that make him seem like old Uncle Joe Biden not knowing what he's talking about and also
00:06:19.000 saying something criminal because you cannot accuse somebody of committing a crime that they did not
00:06:24.600 commit. And I can guarantee you, we over at 1BC have not blackmailed anyone. We have not bribed anyone,
00:06:32.040 which is also in his letter. This letter is five pages, by the way. And in five pages,
00:06:37.160 he accuses us of blackmail 12 separate times, like the word blackmail comes up 12 separate times,
00:06:42.760 and then also accuses us of bribing people, to which Jordan Keely, the independent MLA from
00:06:48.520 Peace River North pointed out that doesn't make any sense. How many times in history has someone ever
00:06:53.400 been blackmailed and bribed at the same time? It's almost like they're throwing out accusations.
00:06:58.520 And the day after this letter leaked, which the letter was only circulated through caucus
00:07:03.080 originally because they knew a report was coming out by Drea Humphrey at Rebel News that was going
00:07:08.440 to expose the AGM fraud, including people's admissions that it went on, MLA's agreeing that
00:07:14.600 it happened, people who were organizing the AGM saying, yeah, we waived the fees for the brown
00:07:19.800 guys, or they waived the fees for the brown guys, the other organizers. This is all coming up, 0.82
00:07:24.040 but this is blackmail, apparently, that it's coming out. They're basically only accusing us of this
00:07:29.320 because evidence was going to come out of impropriety, of corruption, and it's somehow

00:11:38.600 campaign, like two thirds of the money was just burned, in my opinion, that they just did not spend
00:11:43.560 money properly, that there was way too many staffs with way too many high, with way too many salaries
00:11:49.960 being given out and the salaries were bloated.
