Summary

The U.S. President Trump has threatened to impose 25% tariffs on Canada starting as early as tomorrow. Canada has been warned that they will be hit with these tariffs starting as soon as tomorrow morning. This is the dumbest thing Canada could possibly do, unless you're thinking about your political prospects.

00:00:00.000 As a reasonable person, this U.S.-Canada tariff issue has become maddening to talk about
00:00:05.920 because it's so clear that the left-wing political establishment in Canada
00:00:10.520 is directly driving us into a trade war.
00:00:14.200 They are convinced that a trade war is going to help their polling numbers,
00:00:17.980 and so instead of actually dealing with the issues that Trump has pointed out
00:00:22.020 about the border and our defense spending,
00:00:24.880 instead we've only been talking about retaliatory tariffs.
00:00:28.620 Other than Premiers Danielle Smith in Alberta and Scott Moe in Saskatchewan,
00:00:33.440 all the other Premiers and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have been treating this
00:00:37.560 like it's just simply Trump's putting tariffs on us for no reason,
00:00:41.520 and the only move we have is to retaliate.
00:00:44.620 Has Trump been fully reasonable in all this? No, I would say not.
00:00:48.960 Is the border an issue? Definitely.
00:00:51.000 If I was him, I wouldn't immediately say 25% tariffs if you don't deal with this.
00:00:55.060 I would say, please deal with this, and if they're not willing to listen to you,
00:00:59.180 then I would slowly start ramping up threats about,
00:01:02.180 well, I'll have to tariff you if you don't secure the border
00:01:04.260 because fentanyl is flowing over the border.
00:01:06.380 There are literally 10 times as many people on the tariff watch list
00:01:09.520 entering the U.S. from Canada than the U.S. from Mexico.
00:01:13.500 So, you know, deal with it.
00:01:15.940 Yes, he's not been fully reasonable,
00:01:17.720 but for some reason, people in the Canadian media
00:01:20.940 and the Canadian liberal political establishment,
00:01:23.980 and that includes Doug Ford,
00:01:25.580 have been taking the fact that Trump's not fully reasonable
00:01:28.460 to be even more unreasonable in response.
00:01:32.640 Justin Trudeau belittling Trump and saying,
00:01:35.080 well, yeah, we'll think about putting together a plan to secure the border,
00:01:38.960 but did you know that only 1% of fentanyl that comes from the U.S.
00:01:43.660 into the U.S. is captured on the Canadian border
00:01:46.040 compared to the Mexican border?
00:01:47.540 And it's like, yeah, Justin,
00:01:49.640 and it's almost like we don't actually have X-ray machines for semi-trucks.
00:01:54.380 We don't check that many vehicles coming over the border.
00:01:57.160 We have massive undefended portions of the border
00:01:59.740 that someone could walk over and no one's even going to know about it.
00:02:03.240 Yes, there has only been 1% of fentanyl found coming over the Canadian border
00:02:07.700 because you don't check for it.
00:02:09.400 It's like if there was a county that prided itself
00:02:12.080 for having nobody arrested for drug crimes,
00:02:14.440 and it's because they don't have any cops.
00:02:16.740 Obviously, you're not going to catch anyone.
00:02:18.580 There's nobody looking for anyone.
00:02:20.600 It's so silly.
00:02:22.320 I'm going to take you through some of the takes
00:02:24.160 some of these Canadian politicians have been having
00:02:26.120 and just explain why this is the dumbest thing we could be possibly doing
00:02:30.460 unless you're thinking about your own political prospects.
00:02:33.860 But before I get into it, guys,
00:02:35.600 remember to like this video, subscribe to the channel.
00:02:38.280 I have a goal of trying to get to 100,000 subscribers by mid-December of this year
00:02:43.620 and leave a comment.
00:02:45.080 Let me know what you think on this tariff trade issue thing.
00:02:48.660 Let's get into it.
00:02:49.900 Here's Justin Trudeau talking about the tariffs.
00:02:52.920 As we're in a critical moment,
00:02:54.420 as President Trump stated yesterday,
00:02:56.540 he is still committed to placing tariffs on Canada
00:02:59.840 starting as early as tomorrow, possibly.
00:03:02.940 Now, we don't know precisely what that could look like,
00:03:05.100 but I do know two things.
00:03:06.920 First, if the president does choose to implement any tariffs against Canada,
00:03:11.680 we're ready with a response.
00:03:13.920 A purposeful, forceful, but reasonable, immediate response.
00:03:19.420 It's not what we want, but if he moves forward, we will also act.
00:03:24.200 He clearly wants this because, again,
00:03:26.960 he said, oh, I've invested a billion dollars into a border security plan,
00:03:31.380 but that's not actual border security.
00:03:33.760 Do you know who's actually been doing an excellent job on this issue?
00:03:38.280 It's Alberta Premier Daniel Smith.
00:03:40.460 And as you guys know from what I've said over time,
00:03:44.680 I'm not Daniel Smith's number one fan.
00:03:46.840 I wish we would be reducing taxes in Alberta like they promised in the 23 election.
00:03:51.920 I wish we would be reducing spending.
00:03:54.300 Spending's up 13% since she became Premier.
00:03:57.220 There's things that need to be fixed.
00:03:58.540 But on this issue, she's been doing an excellent job
00:04:02.460 because she's been quarterbacking Canada's entire relationship with the United States.
00:04:08.640 When all other premiers are wanting a fight,
00:04:11.560 a fight that they cannot win,
00:04:13.880 a fight they can't win because they're gormlessly stupid,
00:04:16.760 we could get into a trade war with the U.S. and win,
00:04:19.940 but we'd have to stop kicking our own taxpayers in the face.
00:04:23.660 We'd have to stop hurting our own businesses.
00:04:26.040 We would have to lower taxes, regulations.
00:04:29.200 We'd have to do a lot of things to make our country more business friendly.
00:04:32.960 So even if the U.S. puts a 25% tariff on it,
00:04:35.700 it doesn't really matter.
00:04:36.760 It's still easier to do things in Canada than the U.S.
00:04:38.720 It's more expensive to do things in Canada than the U.S.
00:04:41.520 for the most part, other than extracting raw resources.
00:04:44.220 And so now we're in a position where we don't have a lot of cards to play.
00:04:50.220 And in fact, it's stupid for us to put tariffs on to counter the U.S.
00:04:54.500 All we're doing is making things more expensive for Canadians,
00:04:57.260 and we're not doing nearly as much damage to the Americans
00:05:00.320 as they are by putting tariffs on us.
00:05:02.760 So in fact, what we should be doing is that they put a 25% tariff on us.
00:05:06.700 Not only should we put more money into the military and secure the border
00:05:09.380 to then give Trump a reason to remove the tariffs,
00:05:12.200 but we should also lower taxes and make ourselves more competitive.
00:05:16.720 There's a reason why Singapore, Hong Kong, other very small countries
00:05:21.520 are able to be very economically prosperous
00:05:23.500 because they make it easier to do stuff there
00:05:25.980 than it is on the other side of the border in places like China or Malaysia,
00:05:31.800 other places in Southeast Asia and whatnot.
00:05:35.360 It's so obvious what we should be doing here.
00:05:37.620 But this was what Daniel Smith said.
00:05:39.520 Great. Excellent.
00:05:41.080 This is why Trump's only putting a 10% tariff on oil and gas products.
00:05:45.160 One, because a lot of the oil and gas that the U.S. imports is from Canada,
00:05:48.960 around 80%.
00:05:49.760 Obviously, they have a lot of it in their own country as well.
00:05:52.660 But this is why it's probably had a lower tariff on oil and gas
00:05:56.840 because Daniel Smith has been doing the work.
00:05:59.460 And I give Scott Moe a lot of credit that before when he was on
00:06:03.440 Doug Ford's stupid Team Canada thing, he has switched sides
00:06:06.800 and he is tacking more towards what Daniel Smith is doing.
00:06:10.240 He is standing up for Saskatchewan with the U.S. trying to make things work
00:06:14.620 to potentially get cutouts for Saskatchewan, which he should be doing.
00:06:18.340 He is the leader of Saskatchewan.
00:06:19.940 Smith is the leader of Alberta.
00:06:21.240 And I have no time for people saying, oh, she should be standing up for Canada.
00:06:26.180 No.
00:06:27.060 Was she the leader of Canada?
00:06:28.380 No.
00:06:28.660 She's the leader of Alberta.
00:06:30.180 She said this here.
00:06:31.200 Alberta is serious when it comes to border security.
00:06:34.260 We're taking action to crack down on fentanyl trafficking and illegal migration
00:06:38.340 with real action.
00:06:40.400 Our new interdiction patrol team, IPD, is now on the ground along the Canadian-U.S. border
00:06:47.540 by adding 51 Alberta sheriffs, four patrol dogs ready to track down and take down threats,
00:06:52.980 10 cold-weather drones for 24-7 surveillance, four narcotic analyzers to detect
00:06:58.260 and stop deadly drugs in their tracks, and more tools to keep Alberta safe.
00:07:02.180 And I guarantee each one of those four, narcotics analyzers along any border entries we have
00:07:07.200 with the U.S., or probably two on one of them, because I think we only have about a couple.
00:07:11.980 And then she finishes by saying, my sincere thanks to the Minister of Public Safety, Mike
00:07:16.140 Ellis, and all the Alberta sheriffs for leading this charge and making sure criminals get the
00:07:21.080 message.
00:07:21.920 Perfect.
00:07:22.920 Good response.
00:07:24.320 And if anyone says, Trump doesn't actually care about the border.
00:07:27.380 He just wants an excuse to put tariffs on us.
00:07:30.000 Well, guess what?
00:07:31.380 Smith is able to call his bluff.
00:07:33.400 And in fact, it seems like Trump is at least somewhat reasonable on this, because Alberta,
00:07:37.960 our main source of income being oil and gas in terms of real created productivity.
00:07:42.960 I know people are like, it's only technically 80% of the Alberta economy in terms of jobs and
00:07:47.780 whatnot.
00:07:48.200 Like, yes, because obviously we need school teachers, police officers.
00:07:50.700 That's all default stuff.
00:07:51.700 But in terms of value add to the economy, oil and gas is a major part.
00:07:55.780 And she got a major concession from the U.S. already.
00:07:59.460 With only one out of 10 provinces being reasonable, we have already gotten some concessions.
00:08:05.960 Perfect.
00:08:06.840 On the other side of things, we have people like Doug Ford and David Eby.
00:08:11.440 By the way, early Ontario election for no reason right now.
00:08:16.560 If you live in Ontario, guys, please vote for the new blue party of Ontario.
00:08:20.900 They want to have a candidate in all 124 ridings.
00:08:25.320 So if you do not have a new blue party of Ontario candidate in, I think I may have said
00:08:30.880 Ontario party.
00:08:31.540 Don't vote for the Ontario party.
00:08:33.040 It's literally a fake PC front group.
00:08:34.920 But the new blue party of Ontario needs a candidate in every single riding.
00:08:38.840 So if you don't have a candidate, please consider vote being the candidate for the new blue party
00:08:43.280 in your riding.
00:08:44.420 Ford's out of control.
00:08:45.100 He's literally running on a tariff on a tariff relief plan where he's going to dump COVID
00:08:52.440 levels of money into the economy, just just burning money in the economy, pretending like
00:08:57.440 he's helping.
00:08:58.100 That's a socialistic response.
00:09:01.200 Doug Ford is basically a socialist on so many economic issues.
00:09:04.600 He thinks the way the economy is grown is the government injecting money into failing
00:09:09.620 industries.
00:09:10.160 Hi, everybody.
00:09:11.900 David Eby here.
00:09:13.020 I just wanted to give you a quick update on the tariff threat to British Columbia and
00:09:17.180 Canada and where we're at.
00:09:18.780 I just finished a meeting with the prime minister and with premiers from across Canada.
00:09:23.720 The main topic of the meeting was our expectation of the significant risk that on Saturday we'll
00:09:29.180 be seeing these tariffs imposed by the United States.
00:09:31.940 What does that mean in terms of supporting British Columbians and Canadians who might be affected?
00:09:36.480 The man, this man here, by the way, is still on vacation.
00:09:41.040 The legislature in BC went on a fall break.
00:09:45.040 The premier didn't even bring it back for a fall session.
00:09:47.740 The last provincial election ended on October 19th.
00:09:51.580 It took a few extra days to figure out who had actually won.
00:09:54.860 But for the most part, they're a majority or minority government, depending on what happens
00:09:58.360 to Surrey Guilford.
00:09:59.060 They're still not back in session.
00:10:01.820 Why?
00:10:02.640 I don't know.
00:10:03.840 Doesn't he take this crap seriously?
00:10:05.580 He obviously doesn't.
00:10:08.180 And David Eby is the man in Canada, the premier who has the smallest leg to stand on right
00:10:16.220 now because he's the one who has let drugs flow freely through his province.
00:10:22.260 He's the one who doesn't have port security.
00:10:25.180 He doesn't have port police in British Columbia trying to get rid of fentanyl being shipped in
00:10:30.440 off of Chinese ships because all of the resources to make fentanyl comes from China.
00:10:35.660 It comes into places like British Columbia.
00:10:37.640 It's manufactured into fentanyl in drug manufacturing plants that are not far away from the U.S.
00:10:43.680 border.
00:10:44.240 And then it's shipped everywhere.
00:10:46.120 And do you think that drug dealers are nice people who would never violate international
00:10:50.500 borders to make more money in Seattle?
00:10:52.760 No, no, no, no.
00:10:53.640 They are going to be they're going to not violate U.S.
00:10:56.760 border security, but they are willing to deal drugs in Canada.
00:10:59.920 He hasn't done anything.
00:11:01.080 And him being one of the front men for saying that we need retaliatory tariffs is ridiculous.
00:11:07.100 It's like we're all living in a house together and our landlord's threatening to kick us out
00:11:12.880 because we haven't been paying our rent.
00:11:15.260 In this case, it's us not paying for border security and not paying for the military because
00:11:20.220 the U.S. basically covers the vast majority of our defense spending.
00:11:23.860 They do it pretty much all for us at the moment because Justin Trudeau's military has become
00:11:28.620 basically a DEI project.
00:11:30.880 But imagine if we're in the scenario where we haven't been paying rent as a collective
00:11:34.740 household.
00:11:35.840 And David Eby is the one who has been spending all of his money on cigarettes and hasn't been
00:11:39.580 contributing.
00:11:40.440 And he wants to stand up and saying, well, maybe we should just not let him kick us out.
00:11:44.220 Maybe we should squat on this property.
00:11:46.800 I'm like, you're one to talk.
00:11:48.980 Alberta's been paying its rent.
00:11:50.560 Saskatchewan's been paying its rent.
00:11:52.140 Everyone else except maybe kind of Ontario has been paying their rent because they have also
00:11:55.460 free drugs flowing around Toronto.
00:11:57.000 So maybe you should shut up right now because we're actually trying to solve the problem.
00:12:02.100 But the rest of the premiers, except Premier Smith and Scott Moe, have not been calling
00:12:06.920 Eby out.
00:12:08.200 The federal government is proposing big tariffs on goods coming into Canada to respond to
00:12:14.600 the U.S. tariffs.
00:12:15.600 That'll bring in money to the federal government.
00:12:18.060 And we've been very clear that that money needs to go right back to affected workers and
00:12:22.760 businesses across the country, including right here in British Columbia, to make sure that
00:12:27.060 people are supported.
00:12:28.380 The federal government is committed to putting that money to work for people.
00:12:31.600 And we're going to make sure that that happens.
00:12:33.860 Has he fixed the fact that most people in British Columbia pay at least a third, if not more than
00:12:40.380 half of their income and taxes?
00:12:41.880 This is why Team Canada is such a stupid concept.
00:12:45.720 Is David Eby actually Team Canada?
00:12:49.040 Oh, I want to stand up for Canadian workers.
00:12:50.800 No, you don't.
00:12:51.960 No, you don't.
00:12:53.180 You have your own provincial carbon tax.
00:12:55.400 You have sky high income taxes.
00:12:57.520 You have sky high business taxes.
00:12:59.360 Property taxes in places like Vancouver is ridiculous right now.
00:13:03.040 Now, this is a video that the B.C. conservatives put out, and I commend them for putting something
00:13:08.580 like this out, because they're entirely correct.
00:13:11.620 So much of this problem has to do with David Eby, and it's not unpatriotic to say that
00:13:16.160 Trump's kind of right.
00:13:17.420 Trump's also been somewhat unreasonable, but he's also kind of right.
00:13:20.960 And just because he's kind of right and you're agreeing that he's kind of right about
00:13:23.900 the border does not mean you're non-patriotic.
00:13:26.420 I'm patriotic.
00:13:27.200 I want Canada to be better every single day in the best way possible to make us the best
00:13:33.460 we can be in the long run.
00:13:35.620 And so many of these other people are short-term thinkers.
00:13:38.720 All they think about is the short-term.
00:13:40.700 Short-term, and all they care about is government revenues.
00:13:43.440 That's why they don't lower taxes.
00:13:45.560 That's why they actually like the idea of tariffs.
00:13:47.780 I showed you a clip the other day on the show of a lobbyist who was actually celebrating
00:13:52.680 the idea of having tariffs because it would bring the government more money.
00:13:55.180 I'm thinking in terms of 25% on Mexico and Canada because they're allowing vast numbers
00:14:01.060 of people.
00:14:01.720 Canada's very bad abuse are also vast.
00:14:04.680 By the way, that article that the BC Conservatives just showed is from the Times columnist, May
00:14:11.360 31st, 2024.
00:14:13.080 Before Trump has even been elected president, it's well known the amount of human smuggling,
00:14:18.460 drugs, and whatnot going over the border.
00:14:20.300 Well, Canada's very bad abuse are also vast numbers of people to come in.
00:14:25.180 And fentanyl to come in.
00:14:26.920 When do you think you would enact it?
00:14:28.560 I think February 1st.
00:14:30.720 Donald Trump's 25% tariff has become an immediate threat to the country.
00:14:37.020 And with the ever-growing list of problems in British Columbia, our province will be hit
00:14:42.100 especially hard.
00:14:43.640 We simply cannot afford a trade war with our largest trading partner.
00:14:48.100 We have to quickly stop this threat.
00:14:51.060 And Trump has made his conditions perfectly clear.
00:14:53.960 Past numbers of people to come in and fentanyl to come in.
00:14:57.360 So has David Eby done anything to fix these problems?
00:15:01.720 No.
00:15:02.560 Because the BC NDP invites a trade war with Donald Trump.
00:15:07.200 They'll use it to score political points by pretending to be tough.
00:15:10.900 And they'll use the tariff as a scapegoat.
00:15:13.640 Again, I like that they actually threw in some Wojak photos in there.
00:15:17.300 Whoever is doing the videos for the BC Conservatives and the BC Conservative Caucus is incredible.
00:15:23.160 These last few videos have actually been great.
00:15:25.640 Four are already rapidly failing economy.
00:15:29.140 So instead of working to stop Trump's tariff, Eby is actively encouraging it.
00:15:35.380 By flooding British Columbia with cheap opioids.
00:15:38.900 These drugs, like hydromorphone, are deadly and addictive.
00:15:44.080 They're freely handed out by Eby's government and quickly sold for fentanyl.
00:15:48.980 This NDP policy funds drug trafficking and expands the illegal flow of fentanyl into the United States.
00:15:57.200 David Eby knows what he's doing.
00:15:59.840 He wants this trade war.
00:16:01.980 He wants to fight Trump.
00:16:03.780 And he wants to pass the blame for his bad NDP policies.
00:16:08.080 I don't need to play the rest of this.
00:16:09.920 But again, absolutely on the mark.
00:16:12.560 The BC Conservatives are right.
00:16:14.200 And they are going to take it on the chin for putting a video like that out.
00:16:18.080 The media, the NDP, a lot of people are going to attack them for saying,
00:16:22.320 well, why aren't you pro-BC?
00:16:23.980 Why are you siding with Trump in any way?
00:16:26.180 Trump's logic being correct is not the problem.
00:16:29.740 Agreeing that Trump has logical concerns is not an issue.
00:16:33.020 The issue is with our government being gormlessly stupid in response.
00:16:37.440 You know what?
00:16:38.320 If Trump actually just wants the tariffs for reasons of wanting the money, like wanting the tariff revenues, that's on him.
00:16:47.400 And the thing is, if we actually secured the border, we could call his bluff and show he's unreasonable.
00:16:51.960 And then what we would do is we would market to people in northern U.S. states, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, the Dakotas, pretty much all of the northern Midwest that relies on Canadian energy, Canadian agriculture products, softwood lumber, all that stuff.
00:17:09.720 Actually, the entire U.S. needs softwood lumber from Canada.
00:17:13.300 We could then actually go to those states and market and say that Trump's making your life more unaffordable by putting a tariff on Canadian products, even though we did everything he said.
00:17:23.180 And then Trump would lose Republican congresspeople in the 22 midterms or 2026.
00:17:30.340 I'm thinking back.
00:17:31.180 But the 2026 midterms, that would be a smart thing for us to do.
00:17:35.040 It'd be a very reasonable thing.
00:17:36.340 But we have basically taken all the cards out of our own hands and just set them on fire because instead we want to trade war and pretend that we're so patriotic because we're standing up to Trump.
00:17:46.100 Oh, we're not going to let him tariff us.
00:17:48.040 Well, what was his terms?
00:17:49.500 We actually need to look into what his terms were.
00:17:52.340 And again, we can't just sit around pretending like it's like, oh, well, he wants us to do something.
00:17:57.600 Well, then we're not going to do it.
00:17:59.080 What are we, five?
00:18:00.560 That's not how that works.
00:18:01.740 Oh, but Trump sucks.
00:18:03.040 What does it matter?
00:18:04.360 I don't think he particularly is unreasonable in any way here in terms of I wouldn't have done it the way he's done it.
00:18:10.640 But I don't think border security and the fact that we basically pay for none of our defense, we have legitimately benefited from hundreds of millions of U.S. defense spending that we didn't have to put money into.
00:18:21.060 And our defense is so bad that Trump has a reason to fear that the Chinese and the Russians are going to be able to use like the Northern Passage as a new shipping lane and be able to basically expand their control over international trade because Canada refuses to actually defend our own territory, our own sovereign waters.
00:18:40.640 Here's Scott Moe, Saskatchewan Premier, taking the right stance.
00:18:44.900 He says, Canada's largest trading partner has been clear in their priority.
00:18:49.040 Saskatchewan has been equally clear about stopping the flow of fentanyl and illegal migration.
00:18:54.020 We have enhanced our provincial border security measures.
00:18:56.560 We have asked the federal government to commit to, I have to actually bring this up.
00:19:00.560 Sometimes I don't have it off on screen properly.
00:19:04.500 We've asked the federal government to commit to accelerating funding to meet our 2% NATO commitment.
00:19:08.840 We further support Alberta's position to call on the federal government to immediately appoint a border czar to ensure our borders are secure for Canadians and Americans.
00:19:17.620 To protect the Canadian economy and avoid potential tariffs tomorrow, today is the day for the government of Canada to act swiftly and appropriately.
00:19:25.360 By the way, a border czar and working with the U.S. and border security has benefits for Canada.
00:19:30.640 Do you want less illegal handguns on the streets of Toronto or for rural gangs to not have illegal firearms smuggled from the U.S.?
00:19:39.720 Border security helps.
00:19:41.240 Having drones along the border that can spot cars pulling up to the border to hand off weapons or to hand off drugs is smart.
00:19:48.540 It helps us shut down problem areas.
00:19:50.560 Police and crime is such a big problem in Canada right now.
00:19:55.600 I've showed charts in previous videos.
00:19:58.200 You know that violent crime in Canada is up 49% since Justin Trudeau took office in 2015?
00:20:04.860 And that's slightly unfair to maybe Trudeau because Harper was in charge for a lot of 2015, so he made things artificially better that year.
00:20:13.720 But, like, Trudeau has been awful on security.
00:20:17.900 Our violent crime is way up.
00:20:19.760 Shoplifting is way up.
00:20:21.800 Technically, the crime rate is down, but it's just because certain crimes have become harder to do with the implementation of ring doorbells everywhere and certain other security systems.
00:20:30.740 But on things that aren't really affected by personal home security, like break-and-enders are down because it's harder to get away with these days, it has nothing to do with our criminal justice system.
00:20:39.980 They'll probably not even lock the guy up, but criminals know that they'll be caught and it's probably going to be a felony.
00:20:45.100 But on things that are not felonies, like shoplifting under $5,000, violent crime that often never gets someone hit with more than a misdemeanor, this stuff is skyrocketing.
00:20:55.860 So do you really trust Trudeau when he says border's not that bad?
00:21:00.140 He thinks crime's not that bad either.
00:21:02.680 Crime's horrible in this country.
00:21:04.980 I have to end off here going over what Doug Ford's been doing in Ontario.
00:21:10.440 Again, if you live in Ontario, there is a stupid early election, an early provincial election a year and a half before they were supposed to have one.
00:21:17.880 And he is going to be, he's basically, again, he's been driving into a trade war because he wants the fight with Trump for his own popularity.
00:21:30.500 So if you live in Ontario, please vote for the new blue party of Ontario.
00:21:33.720 Don't vote for the Ontario party.
00:21:35.540 It is quite literally a front group for the PCs to try and split up the third party whole world.
00:21:41.560 I'm probably going to make a mini documentary someday on what that's all about.
00:21:45.160 But here's Doug Ford's new campaign ad talking about how he's going to protect Ontario.
00:21:51.500 Protect Ontario how?
00:21:53.260 Well, injecting thousands of dollars into the economy, billions of dollars into the economy, into different regions and sectors.
00:22:00.980 Not cutting taxes, but just injecting money into industries that he happens to like.
00:22:05.140 We'll do whatever it takes to protect workers and their livelihoods.
00:22:10.860 Who's going to fight for?
00:22:12.580 I probably have to mute this, but it's so, the fact that this guy is still up in the polls is ridiculous.
00:22:18.940 He's no different than the Ontario Liberals.
00:22:21.400 I challenge people to name a difference between Ford and Bonnie Crombie.
00:22:25.460 I've done it multiple times on social media, on, you know, like on these videos.
00:22:30.740 And I still haven't gotten a clear answer on what makes the Ontario Liberals different than the Ontario Conservatives.
00:22:36.660 Oh, well, Ford's against safe injection sites.
00:22:40.040 Bonnie Crombie is too, but they're both not really against them because they won't shut any of the current ones down and they're still letting cities approve new ones.
00:22:46.840 And the cities were always the place where they were the big problem because cities were funding them.
00:22:51.420 And then he's like, oh, he's against the carbon tax.
00:22:53.840 Bonnie Crombie is too, but they're not really against the carbon tax because both of them support high-end industrial carbon taxes.
00:22:58.840 Well, Ford's pro-business.
00:23:01.100 No, he's not.
00:23:01.760 He's as pro-business as Justin Trudeau is in the sense that they like to inject money, subsidies into industries they like, like the EV manufacturing industry, battery plants.
00:23:12.520 Both Ford and Trudeau's governments put money into and celebrated the cricket factory, the factory that was farming crickets for human consumption.
00:23:22.600 His minister of business development celebrated that as a big success story.
00:23:28.160 These people are no different.
00:23:30.300 And again, they want your life to be worse through a trade war so that they can seem tough.
00:23:36.400 It's disgusting to me.
00:23:38.120 I'm happy that Polyev has mostly stayed out of this.
00:23:40.720 He has supported the idea generally of retaliatory tariffs.
00:23:44.220 I don't blame him in that regard because he's having to work on a national level and there are just places in Canada.
00:23:50.900 And if you're a Torontonian watching this, you know, a lot of fellow Torontonians are going to be very unreasonable and think that the retaliatory tariffs are great.
00:24:00.100 So Polyev has to kind of walk a thin line here.
00:24:02.800 You can't agree too much with Trump or he's going to get smeared as basically being Canadian Trump.
00:24:06.980 Even though, again, every time people criticize Trump from Canada, I'm like, name the policy that's bad.
00:24:12.580 Oh, it's cracked down on immigration.
00:24:15.060 You mean illegal migrants?
00:24:16.580 You mean criminals?
00:24:18.160 I can't blame him.
00:24:20.080 They have millions of legal criminals from South America and Central America.
00:24:24.400 What do you do?
00:24:25.640 Anyways.
00:24:26.020 So that's it for me today, guys.
00:24:29.320 Just another reminder, like this video, subscribe to the channel if you can, leave a comment, leave me your perspective on the trade war.
00:24:36.740 If you're in Ontario, check out the new blue party of Ontario.
00:24:40.080 If you don't have a candidate in your riding, potentially be that candidate.
00:24:44.160 Even if you don't have a lot of time to campaign, people just need the option to say that they want an actual principled conservative party.
00:24:51.380 This isn't the same as saying vote PPC because the conservative party isn't as good as the PPC.
00:24:56.540 Any party can have better stuff on its website than the conservatives.
00:24:59.700 I could make the Wyatt Claypool party tomorrow.
00:25:01.900 And wow, shockingly, I agree 100% with the Wyatt Claypool party.
00:25:05.860 But the federal conservative party is a way better party than the liberals.
00:25:10.420 They're way better on all the issues.
00:25:12.620 So it would really just be purity testing to say vote PPC because they're a little bit better than the conservatives.
00:25:17.400 They can't win.
00:25:18.340 And the difference is really not very great.
00:25:20.600 But in Ontario, the four PCs are truly barely better than the liberals.
00:25:24.760 In fact, I couldn't even say with a gun to my head certainty that they would be better than the liberals.
00:25:29.300 That's not an endorsement of the liberals.
00:25:30.920 That is an unendorsement of the liberals, the PCs, and the NDP.
00:25:35.880 So please vote for the new blue party.
00:25:37.920 The PCs need a smack in the head.
00:25:40.120 Anyways, so that's it.
00:25:42.200 See you guys later.
00:25:42.980 Thank you.
00:25:44.640 Thank you.
00:25:45.320 Thank you.
00:25:45.340 Thank you.
00:25:47.780 Thank you.
00:25:48.260 Thank you.
00:25:49.000 Thank you.
00:25:49.940 Thank you.
00:25:51.300 Thanks.
00:25:51.920 Thank you.
00:25:52.100 Thank you.
00:25:53.180 Thank you.
00:25:55.640 Thank you.
00:25:56.240 Thank you.
00:25:58.840 Bye-bye.
00:26:01.620 Thank you.
00:26:02.600 Bye-bye.
00:26:03.520 Bye-bye.
00:26:04.300 Bye-bye.
00:26:04.880 Bye-bye.
00:26:05.440 Bye-bye.
00:26:07.560 Bye-bye.
00:26:08.880 Bye-bye.
00:26:09.740 Bye-bye.
00:26:11.020 Bye-bye.
00:26:11.880 Bye-bye.
