00:00:00.340 The Liberal government said, they're not going to do it, and we said, oh, they're 100% going to do it.
00:00:06.740 They said, no, we're not going to do it, and then they brought in the journalists who love free speech to say,
00:00:11.340 we're all crazy, the government's not going to do it, you're fear-mongering,
00:00:15.080 and now the Canadian government wants to regulate the podcasts you listen to.
00:00:20.180 Now, they said they wouldn't, the experts said we were crazy, and now they're just outright saying they're going to do it.
00:00:25.260 So this is part of the Online Streaming Act, Bill C-11, one of the things we screamed about to the heavens,
00:00:30.420 that I think the Canadian public vastly agreed with the content creators.
00:00:34.600 It's just the government and the major corporations, Rogers and Bell, wanted this law,
00:00:39.560 because, of course, it helps them and destroys us.
00:00:42.820 So here we are. We're going to regulate this particular podcast video.
00:00:47.180 Everything in Canada is going to be regulated. Yay!
00:00:51.460 Essentially, what they want to do is any podcast or anything on YouTube that is monetized,
00:00:55.260 makes any type of money, the government wants to regulate it.
00:00:58.720 In Canada, we have something called the CRTC, which is like the regulatory body.
00:01:03.020 And what you need to know about the CRTC is everyone who works at the CRTC is a fat loser whose kids hate them,
00:01:10.060 for good reason.
00:01:11.180 And these losers will now be in charge of picking and choosing what can make it onto air,
00:01:15.740 what gets depressed, what doesn't get depressed.
00:01:17.980 So we've thrown the entire internet into a cluster F of a bureaucracy.
00:01:22.420 Now, we've known for a while, as content creators, that Justin Trudeau is going to do this.
00:01:28.580 Why? Because it fits in a direct pattern of behavior of censorious actions.
00:01:34.320 Since he has become prime minister, he has been on the pathway to monopolize the flow of information.
00:01:40.180 It started, before the pandemic, with the $600 million bailout of media.
00:01:47.440 And remember, Justin Trudeau gave the media $600 million to preserve its independence.
00:01:52.040 Actual Trudeau line.
00:01:53.280 Yes, the government buying the media makes the media more independent.
00:01:56.540 Welcome to Trudeau land.
00:01:58.160 So that was the carrot.
00:01:58.880 So a lot of mainstream outlets, they now are kind of invested in the whole Trudeau thing
00:02:06.660 because that's where they get tons of money.
00:02:08.600 And this is why you see sometimes on bigger issues, the Canadian media, even the supposedly
00:02:12.600 right-wing son, will circle the wagons, like the Freedom Convoy, right?
00:02:16.100 All the mainstream media had to circle the wagons and do direct propaganda for the liberal
00:02:19.380 government and completely mislead the public as to what was going on.
00:02:22.300 And that was good for us and alternative media because we could live stream and show you
00:02:25.040 what actually was happening and people like that.
00:02:26.760 That's why people like free internet.
00:02:28.980 They like alternative media sources.
00:02:30.580 They like the ability to choose where they can get information from and make their own
00:02:34.740 choices because they're functioning adults.
00:02:37.280 Oh, who would have thought Canada had functioning adults that don't need the government to tell
00:02:40.380 them what to do?
00:02:41.500 So that was the first thing, right?
00:02:43.440 Then they started attacking alternative media.
00:02:45.280 They were suing Rebel News and Trudeau media and taking them to court for frivolous nonsense
00:02:49.080 over lawfare BS, right?
00:02:51.120 That was, if you're not going to be a friendly outlet, we're just going to attack you, make
00:02:54.360 you spend tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees to attend our events, right?
00:02:59.360 And then what's the big problem the liberals have?
00:03:03.300 Well, it's actually you.
00:03:04.440 You're the problem.
00:03:05.460 Me too.
00:03:06.260 All, both of us.
00:03:06.940 Because anyone who has a cell phone is technically a media company or can do this, right?
00:03:11.200 You can write an article.
00:03:12.160 You can publish it.
00:03:12.760 You can get a website.
00:03:13.720 You can make videos.
00:03:14.840 You can do whatever you want.
00:03:15.720 You can get your voice out there.
00:03:18.540 I think that's beautiful.
00:03:20.440 I don't see it as like, oh, competition.
00:03:22.020 No, it just should be me on the internet.
00:03:23.400 No, I love that part about the new world.
00:03:26.040 The liberals do not like that part.
00:03:29.920 So the next thing is social media.
00:03:32.500 Shut it down.
00:03:33.420 You can say anti-government things.
00:03:34.400 We had Bill C-18 where they tried to help us.
00:03:38.160 Oh, the liberal government's so kind.
00:03:39.520 They wanted to give us all this money.
00:03:41.100 They wanted to give us money from Google and Facebook.
00:03:44.060 But they created an insane system where Google and Facebook would go broke if they allowed news on their site.
00:03:49.100 So they used to rip news off Google and Facebook.
00:03:50.940 And now the National Telegraph can't make money on Google and Facebook.
00:03:53.920 The two biggest revenues we had before this.
00:03:57.140 It's insane, right?
00:03:58.680 And now they want the CRTC to regulate the one remaining revenue source we've been managing to scrape out,
00:04:03.000 which is like podcasts, online stuff.
00:04:05.500 Like, it's so frustrating to do this in Canada.
00:04:08.820 Like, listen, I hate the whole give us money, media is under attack thing.
00:04:14.480 I hate doing this.
00:04:15.340 I would rather just, like, be successful and monetize what I do so you can like, share, and subscribe.
00:04:20.380 And that helps me out.
00:04:22.240 That would be nice.
00:04:23.780 But now they're coming off to that revenue stream too.
00:04:26.880 So we have to do an independent fundraiser just for alternative media.
00:04:30.100 Like, we have to start GoFundMe.
00:04:31.160 You can click the link down below.
00:04:32.420 But, like, we just need money because the liberal government keeps every time we get a revenue source as a media company,
00:04:38.760 they just take it away.
00:04:39.960 So if you're like, don't you make money in Canada doing this like every other country?
00:04:43.320 Can't you just be successful?
00:04:44.800 And people, no!
00:04:45.940 That's illegal in Canada now.
00:04:50.620 Okay.
00:04:51.520 I'm going to give you something.
00:04:53.380 I'm going to give you the next year and a half of this.
00:04:55.980 The way they're going to do it and censor the internet is not through the government.
00:05:00.040 It's going to be through the bureaucracy, just making things an absolute nightmare,
00:05:03.300 and then through the technocracy, right?
00:05:04.940 This is how the current laundering of the destruction of civil rights works.
00:05:11.040 Think of it like in COVID, right?
00:05:14.160 And free speech is kind of like this, where the common defense from the people who hate free speech,
00:05:18.740 they're called journalists.
00:05:20.380 So a CBC journalist will tell you, actually, the government can't tell you what to say,
00:05:27.300 but other people can.
00:05:29.040 And it's called facing the consequences of your actions.
00:05:32.620 So it's not going to be the liberal government saying, oh, National Telegraph can't do the news.
00:05:36.580 It'll be experts.
00:05:38.920 Remember experts?
00:05:40.380 See, government funds think tanks and experts, and certain experts get propped up.
00:05:45.000 And when those experts decide that something is hateful or bad, that gets into the bureaucracy.
00:05:51.840 And then they make decisions at a lower level of bureaucracy thing.
00:05:55.940 So it's not the liberal government that said I'm bad.
00:05:59.460 It was the experts who just happened to receive tens of millions of dollars of funding from the liberal government.
00:06:04.760 See, I wasn't censored by the government.
00:06:07.080 It was actually my fault.
00:06:08.920 And I'm the crazy one.
00:06:10.440 And this is the next few years of Canadian mainstream media talking points on this.
00:06:16.360 And sorry if I just ruined the game for you all, but I'm frustrated.
00:06:19.580 And this is ridiculous.
00:06:20.980 I love doing this.
00:06:22.160 I love ranting.
00:06:23.240 And I like writing.
00:06:24.800 And they took, like, we can't make money writing articles in Canada anymore.
00:06:27.640 So we have to talk more and make more videos and do more content.
00:06:30.660 And now we won't be able to make money doing that.
00:06:32.160 It's so frustrating that I just have to do the, click the link in below, please support alternative media thing.
00:06:37.400 But, like, if you can, like, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to end this liberal government before 2025.
00:06:49.680 Not in a violent way.
00:06:50.660 I'm going to make fun of Justin Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh so much.
00:06:53.340 I'm going to hurt their feelings and cause an election in 2024.
00:06:56.520 Like, that's the goal.
00:06:57.840 To save the media, I'm going to hurt Justin and Jagmeet's feelings.
00:07:02.100 Who's with me?
