00:00:00.000 Hey guys, Wyatt Claypool here. We are just 11 months away from the next Canadian federal election.
00:00:07.360 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is at historical lows in his approval rating.
00:00:12.060 The Liberal Party of Canada is hovering around 24-25% in the national polls.
00:00:17.980 There is no way that these people can actually win government again in probably the next two election cycles.
00:00:24.960 Truly the only thing that is keeping Justin Trudeau on as the Liberal Party leader is the fact that back in 2013,
00:00:32.760 when they made Justin Trudeau the leader of the party, they also gave him dictatorial powers over the party
00:00:38.760 that limited grassroots democracy to very few decision-making roles.
00:00:44.080 And Trudeau could literally have every single member of the party and every single MP vote against him as leader,
00:00:49.980 and he could just stay on.
00:00:51.200 He chooses when he steps down, and Justin Trudeau does not seem like a big enough adult to realize that people in this country do not like him.
00:00:59.780 Like, I'm a conservative. I find all this hilarious, and it's just guaranteeing that the Conservative Party is going to win in 2025.
00:01:06.800 But it's also frustrating as somebody who wants politics to make some sense,
00:01:11.760 and for people who, you know, suck at their jobs and are very unpopular to get the point that maybe they should step down.
00:01:18.600 But I am never going to count on anything penetrating Justin Trudeau's skull.
00:01:23.240 But here, I'm just going to take you through just how insane things have gotten for Trudeau.
00:01:28.060 He is now tied for second place in a hypothetical Liberal leadership race.
00:01:34.500 Nanos has been polling who people would vote for if there was a Liberal leadership race going on.
00:01:39.540 Some pollsters will say, let's assume Justin Trudeau steps down and he's not running in it.
00:01:43.320 Nanos is assuming if Justin Trudeau was running in it, how many people would actually vote for him.
00:01:48.680 And he is tied for second place.
00:01:50.200 Actually, he's technically tied for third place because the leading candidate in the Liberal leadership race going on right now,
00:01:57.420 the hypothetical one, the leading candidate is none of these people because nobody likes the Liberal Party.
00:02:03.540 Trudeau has trashed the brand so much, anyone who associates with it immediately becomes unpopular.
00:02:08.400 Plus, he's brain-drained his entire caucus to the point where none of these people have a personality past the fact that they agree with Justin Trudeau and everything.
00:02:18.580 I'm going to get into this a little bit further.
00:02:21.040 But first, quickly, I just want to encourage you, if you haven't subscribed to this channel yet, make sure you hit the subscribe button.
00:02:27.160 About 75% of people watching all my videos are not yet subscribers.
00:02:31.240 So hit subscribe and also like this video.
00:02:34.180 And I also have pinned at the top of the comments, as well as in the description of this video below,
00:02:39.920 this tweet I have about the situation going on with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
00:02:46.620 This is how radical the CBC is and a great case for why the CBC needs to be defunded.
00:02:51.640 In the aftermath of President Donald Trump winning his re-election to a second non-consecutive term,
00:02:58.580 they had on Hassan Piker to talk about online media in the U.S. and why Donald Trump won.
00:03:05.220 Hassan Piker is far left.
00:03:07.460 Hassan Piker believes that America deserved 9-11.
00:03:10.720 He mocked Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw for losing his eye in Afghanistan to a roadside bomb.
00:03:17.500 And yet they fired people in the past for using slightly vulgar language to disagree with those who support Hamas.
00:03:24.680 This is insane.
00:03:25.820 So go down to the comments and click on the link to my tweet.
00:03:29.340 Go and retweet it.
00:03:30.200 Go and like it.
00:03:30.780 Go make your own post about this.
00:03:32.440 Because we need more people to be aware of just how far left the CBC has become.
00:03:38.620 Not everything they do is far left, but they often will basically slant things towards the extreme left
00:03:44.520 in who they choose to platform.
00:03:46.100 I'm fine with Hassan speaking freely.
00:03:49.040 But when it's my tax dollars and we never have conservative counterbalances on the CBC,
00:03:54.220 100% these people should lose their funding.
00:03:56.800 They are nutcases.
00:03:58.140 We're trying to normalize radicals like Hassan Piker.
00:04:02.440 Anyways, so before we get into the polling in detail for the Liberal Party hypothetical leadership,
00:04:09.960 this is Abacus Data's polling on Justin Trudeau's approval rating.
00:04:13.820 It goes all the way back to July 2022.
00:04:17.320 Obviously, if you went back further, Trudeau used to have a positive approval rating.
00:04:22.460 Right now, in Abacus Data's approval rating polls, he's only at 23%, which, woo, is a slight
00:04:29.180 improvement over 22% he had back in September.
00:04:32.540 However, this is pathetic, 23% approval rating, 61% disapproval rating.
00:04:39.200 These are near historical lows for Justin Trudeau.
00:04:42.360 And if you really consider it more in the two-month or three-month or quarter time span,
00:04:47.500 he is currently in his lowest ratings ever.
00:04:51.440 How does anyone survive with this?
00:04:53.200 Justin Trudeau burnt down the house, and he doesn't have the wit, he doesn't have the wisdom
00:05:00.480 to just dance back slowly.
00:05:03.220 Dude, you burnt down the house.
00:05:04.940 Just walk out quietly.
00:05:07.020 Don't walk up to people while they're watching the house burn down
00:05:09.800 and tell them about how this is actually conservative's fault.
00:05:13.720 You know, I know the whole term, you broke it, you bought it.
00:05:17.580 In this case, I just want him to break it and walk away, please.
00:05:22.580 It is crazy how anyone is able to stay on with ratings this low.
00:05:26.520 And then I just quickly want to show you what the current polling is nationally,
00:05:30.100 because this is an absolute trouncing for the Liberals right now.
00:05:34.860 I'm trying to find the overall numbers here.
00:05:41.300 Yeah, here we go.
00:05:43.040 The Conservative Party of Canada in this poll, diving down a little bit,
00:05:46.580 but you can never be on top forever.
00:05:48.980 They're at 41%.
00:05:50.440 The Liberals are at 22%.
00:05:52.320 They are 19% behind the Conservatives.
00:05:54.720 The NDP are, in fact, within the margin of error,
00:05:57.700 because this poll is a 3% margin of error.
00:05:59.680 They're within the margin of error of the Liberal Party.
00:06:02.880 The Liberals would probably come in third when it comes to the seat count
00:06:06.340 with bad ratings like this,
00:06:08.840 because the NDP support, as I've mentioned in the past,
00:06:11.440 is very concentrated around certain parts of the country.
00:06:13.880 The Liberals like the Conservatives because it is a party that actually tries to go for government.
00:06:19.740 Their support is spread across the entire country
00:06:22.960 with small concentrations of support in places like Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.
00:06:28.380 And even Vancouver and Toronto are not reliably Conservative voting,
00:06:32.380 or Liberal voting places anymore.
00:06:34.240 Montreal kind of, but now the Bloc Québécois and the NDP
00:06:37.560 are starting to dig into certain suburbs of Montreal.
00:06:40.600 Well, the Liberals have no base anymore.
00:06:43.100 Now I just quickly want to bring up their polling when it comes to regions
00:06:46.580 and then demographic groups,
00:06:48.840 because this is disgustingly bad for the Liberals.
00:06:51.440 Again, I'm a Conservative.
00:06:52.540 I want them to fail.
00:06:54.000 But I'm still gobsmacked by how nobody has just told Justin Trudeau to pack sand,
00:07:00.180 how nobody senior in the party has even tried to make the power play to become the next leader.
00:07:04.780 Like, have your own interests in mind.
00:07:07.480 I don't want any of these people to be Prime Minister.
00:07:09.720 But be selfish.
00:07:11.560 Be selfish, guys.
00:07:12.960 Try and take out Trudeau and become the next, you know, grand poobah here.
00:07:16.500 Because he is actually sinking you.
00:07:18.500 Like, I guess keep going, because it's funny that you guys are going to lose this bad.
00:07:22.440 But wow.
00:07:23.780 Here, the Liberals are in third place in British Columbia.
00:07:26.480 They are only at 25%, trailing the Conservatives by 20% in Ontario.
00:07:32.640 They are only barely in second place in Quebec.
00:07:36.600 Atlantic Canada, they're getting blown out.
00:07:39.260 And this is also my evidence as to why that Frank Graves poll from ECO
00:07:44.160 showing the Liberals only trailing by 9% was full of it.
00:07:48.020 Do you really think that the Liberals are leading in Atlantic Canada by 18 points?
00:07:52.700 That they're somehow slightly ahead in BC?
00:07:55.560 They're not.
00:07:56.480 What has happened in the past year that would lead Frank Graves to believe his numbers
00:08:01.740 that the Liberals are suddenly surging?
00:08:04.580 What have they done that's made Canadians like them?
00:08:07.260 Nothing.
00:08:08.000 Do you know that Frank Graves, the first question in his poll, is asking vaccine status?
00:08:12.920 Do you think that's going to affect your polling accuracy?
00:08:15.700 There's going to be a lot of people, vaccinated or unvaccinated,
00:08:19.240 especially in the Conservative right side of the aisle,
00:08:21.520 who are going to pick up the phone, hear they're being asked about their vaccine status,
00:08:24.540 and be like, click, I'm not answering you.
00:08:26.700 That's not any of your business.
00:08:28.700 And this doesn't seem like a legit poll.
00:08:30.540 When in 2024, you're asking someone about their vaccine status.
00:08:34.860 Here are the demographics.
00:08:38.140 And this should really scare the Liberals, because they are trailing so hard with younger Canadians.
00:08:43.780 They're in third place with Canadians 18 to 29.
00:08:47.620 How are you ever going to survive as a party like this?
00:08:49.920 Because the NDP are beating them.
00:08:53.840 And they're not that far away from the Greens and the PPC being combined together.
00:08:57.980 Those parties that aren't going to win pretty much any seats at all are combined really close to the Liberals at this point.
00:09:06.980 It's madness that people haven't thrown this guy over the side of the ship yet.
00:09:11.500 But now, let's get into the polling about the leader.
00:09:15.280 So I'm going to break this down a little bit, then I'll try and bring up the Nanos more detailed polling I have here that kind of tracks over time.
00:09:22.540 But this is just the October 2024 numbers from Nanos that CTV ended up commissioning.
00:09:29.100 So we have none of the above currently polling at 26%.
00:09:32.720 And granted, this poll is of 1,000 people that I don't believe are party-affiliated.
00:09:38.340 Maybe they're Liberal supporters, but still, it really shouldn't matter.
00:09:41.520 Because, in fact, you shouldn't just be polling Liberal supporters, you should be polling all Canadians.
00:09:47.100 Because all Canadians are those that they're trying to appeal to, not just their remaining 23%, 24% of supporters.
00:09:54.420 So none of the above is currently leading the pack with a good margin over Mark Carney coming in second at 18%.
00:10:01.120 Dude, Trudeau is tied in third place with Chrystia Freeland at 11%.
00:10:06.900 If you're tied with Chrystia Freeland in anything, quit.
00:10:12.860 Do something else.
00:10:13.840 Find a better pursuit in life if Chrystia Freeland is considered an equal match for you.
00:10:20.060 She is not charismatic at all.
00:10:22.120 People don't like her.
00:10:23.600 And it's not because they're nasty to her and they're being unfair.
00:10:26.680 She's just condescending.
00:10:29.060 She talks to people like they're five.
00:10:30.520 I might make a video later about her talking about immigration, just tut-tutting Canadians, patting them on the head of saying, yes, we understand that you don't like sky-high immigration rates and we're responding to you.
00:10:41.480 That's why nobody likes Chrystia Freeland.
00:10:43.740 And then there's a steep drop-off.
00:10:46.000 Chrystia Clark is at 4% who's sort of angling to become the next Liberal leader.
00:10:51.460 Goodness.
00:10:51.940 We're bringing heavy hitters like Christy Clark to try and take over the leadership of the party, a lady who left office with very, very low approval ratings and even got beat for her own riding by David Eby back in 2013.
00:11:04.880 And then following her, Francois-Philippe Champagne, Melanie Jolie at 4% and 3% respectively, Anita Anand at 3%, I would be shocked if more than 3% of people even know who she is, Dominic LeBlanc, 2%, Sean Frazier, 3%, and other 13%, unsure 13%, which I will remind you is in fact higher than Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland's numbers.
00:11:29.640 How are these people even – no doubt this is why you guys don't have any donations anymore.
00:11:37.700 It's not because the pure poly of the conservatives are having closed-door big donor lunches.
00:11:45.660 It's like you can only donate up to $1,750, guys.
00:11:49.200 You could – they have been out-fundraised by the Alberta UCP in certain quarters who only gets to fundraise among up to 3.5, 4 million people.
00:12:01.120 This is a you problem, guys, at this point.
00:12:03.840 Let's bring up the Nanos numbers from over time.
00:12:06.680 This is truly sad of just how unrobust Trudeau's numbers are going to be because Trudeau actually, in fact, has increased his numbers in these hypothetical polls from previous polls.
00:12:19.380 He used to be only at 9%.
00:12:20.780 Now, woo, he's at 11%.
00:12:23.400 Freeland, before people really got to know her, was at 18% back in December of 2023.
00:12:32.580 Carney has kind of gone up and then he's gone down a little bit.
00:12:36.220 The none of the above has stayed fairly robust.
00:12:40.020 And, yeah, there's nothing really – there's nothing remarkable.
00:12:44.820 Justin Trudeau has brain-drained his party.
00:12:47.460 There's nobody with any character.
00:12:49.820 The thing is you actually want characters in your party.
00:12:52.240 You want controversial people.
00:12:53.900 And when I say controversial, controversy isn't a bad thing.
00:12:56.400 You want somebody who people have strong opinions about.
00:12:59.240 And in the Liberal Party, either you look at them and you're purely apathetic.
00:13:03.120 Who cares about Christy Freeland?
00:13:05.140 Or you really don't like them because they're condescending.
00:13:07.740 You either find them deeply condescending and annoying or you just feel a sucking void of nothing when you look at these people.
00:13:14.420 Because they all might as well go to work wearing Justin Trudeau Halloween masks.
00:13:18.780 Because they only represent votes for Trudeau in caucus or in the government.
00:13:24.720 And then they just carry out his orders.
00:13:26.560 Do you really think that Sean Fraser has independence in how he is running the housing ministry?
00:13:31.400 Do you think that Anita Anand is doing anything – I don't even know what she's the minister of.
00:13:37.160 It was not foreign affairs.
00:13:38.580 Melanie Jolie is in charge of that.
00:13:40.140 And again, a good example.
00:13:41.140 Do you think Melanie Jolie has independence?
00:13:43.460 None of these people do.
00:13:44.840 Even Mark Carney, as soon as he came on as a financial advisor to the party, just started parroting the same old things about how the carbon tax is great and how Canadians just need to be educated on how good of a job we're doing.
00:13:55.460 It's a truism, but it is absolutely true that when you're having to explain to people that actually you're wrong about us, you're so losing.
00:14:06.160 Nobody is going to swing around just because you're like, actually, the conservatives have been lying to you about the carbon tax.
00:14:12.020 One, they're not lying.
00:14:13.320 And two, you're not going to convince people that actually the carbon tax is quite good.
00:14:17.520 Once people have turned on something like that this hard, nobody's going to be like, you know what, the carbon tax rebate is good.
00:14:25.080 Actually, I was wrong that it's putting me into poverty even though I am now poor because the liberals hired a hack to run the numbers and tell me that I'm actually better off when the government taxes money away from me and then hands me a portion of it back.
00:14:38.640 It's just not going to work that way.
00:14:40.640 You're never going to tell people that – like you can never come to people and just say the marketing just needs to be better.
00:14:45.980 However, I'm seeing this all over the place.
00:14:48.040 Maybe I should bring up my tweet here from yesterday.
00:14:50.120 There are people out there who are just claiming that the media is letting down the liberals.
00:14:55.560 If you think that the Canadian media is somehow going out to undermine – they're trying to undermine the – the media is out to undermine the liberals, you do not watch television.
00:15:08.840 Or you are so expecting complete and total – I guess like whatever you would say, you're expecting such complete and total loyalty from the media.
00:15:19.900 Them even reporting that Trudeau has become unpopular or Canadians don't like this or that policy, if that is considered stacking the deck against him, you're losing.
00:15:28.980 Here's a tweet that somebody posted.
00:15:30.520 I had a response to it, but you don't really need to see my response.
00:15:32.880 This is a post that someone legitimately made about the media who is a liberal cheerleader.
00:15:39.440 Claude here says,
00:15:40.780 The media has stacked the deck against our prime minister and liberals that pushes on to install a Harper's IDU agenda, a Christo-fascist authoritarian government to Canada to fall in line with its U.S. neighbor.
00:15:54.340 Canada, as we know it today, is one election away from being unrecognizable.
00:15:58.580 If you think – Vassie Capello says, okay, but if you think Andrew Coyne and Rosemary Barton are stacking a deck against the liberals, you suck at politics.
00:16:11.240 You are bad at politics if you think these people are out to get the liberals.
00:16:15.020 They'd like nothing more than to just give Justin Trudeau back massages every single day.
00:16:19.540 I guess I just leave it at that.
00:16:23.660 Trudeau is just done.
00:16:25.400 The man cannot even beat his own counterparts in a hypothetical liberal leadership race.
00:16:31.000 The guy is just not going to make it.
00:16:33.280 And pure poly of it and the conservatives, as long as they don't intentionally mess stuff up, they're probably going to win the next election and have a majority of like 30 to 50 seats.
00:16:42.060 It's going to be a walkover.
00:16:44.280 Anyways, that's it for me today, guys.
00:16:46.640 If you want to support the show, click the Give, Send, Go link in the description below that's also pinned at the top of the comments.
00:16:53.720 Again, like that Twitter post I made about Hassan Piker going on the CBC, the CBC needs to be pressured to stop platforming these far-left activists on their news channels.
00:17:04.340 It's our taxpayer money that's going into platforming these people, and they never have a real conservative voice to counterbalance these sorts of nutcases that they have on.
00:17:13.400 This is a poster child type moment for why the CBC needs to be defunded.
00:17:20.180 Anyways, so that's it for me today, guys.
00:17:22.920 Like the video, share, do all that great stuff.
00:17:25.620 See you guys later.
