Trump's endorsement of the Tories is good for the Tories, bad for the Liberals, and a gift to Jagmeet Singh. I also talk about why I don't trust Mark Carney anymore and why I think he's a weakling.

00:05:43.960Like, their stances on foreign policy make no sense, and I find that a lot of what they are attempting to do when it comes to the economy is like, yeah, nice and libertarian, but they never really have a great way of marketing it to where they would actually survive long enough to make those cuts because it seems like they would just say, like, we would storm in there and cut half the budget.

00:06:07.960How are you going to make this palatable to people so that they understand why you're making the cuts?
00:06:13.200You know, they could take a page out of Donald Trump's playbook in the U.S. and use Doge in a strategic way to go after extremely silly spending at first so people understand just how insane the waste in government is.
00:06:27.060But the PPC doesn't do that because they've never really thought about how to market any of their positions to Canadians, so they mostly just sit back and just, you know, chirp the conservatives for not being conservative enough.
00:06:36.760But, yeah, this video is going to haunt the liberals, and I do not know how they're going to get out of this because they have a leader who has no rhetorical talents at all.

00:06:55.380But, anyways, there's a lot of people now online who are saying this is bad for the conservatives because, oh, the Polyev didn't get the Trump endorsement, and this means a bunch of conservatives are going to abandon him because he's not MAGA.

00:07:26.680But I, as somebody who's generally pretty favorable to Trump on a lot of issues, I'm not going to be like, oh, so Trump's not endorsing the conservatives.
00:07:35.400I think every single person who generally likes Trump who votes conservative understands that in Canada Trump's not a marketable figure because of how anti-American Canadian politics is.
00:07:46.220And so they're willing to still vote conservative because they understand, again, the subtext of Trump's talk, that Polyev is a tough guy and he'd rather deal with Gumby himself, who is Mark Carney.
