In this episode, I talk about the corruption in the Trudeau government, and how it is a symptom of a larger corruption problem, which is the influence of "Wokeism" within the federal government. Wokeism is an ideology that has been introduced into Canada by the Liberal Party of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and it's a problem that needs to be addressed.
00:00:00.640Undoubtedly, Justin Trudeau's government has been one of the most corrupt in Canadian history.
00:00:04.740You'd probably have to go to New York City in the 1880s to find a system as routinely corrupt as Justin Trudeau's government happens to be.
00:00:12.440And obviously, everyone knows all the corruption stories, the Aducon Island, SNC-Lavalin, we have the We Charity scandal,
00:00:18.800we have all the friends and family and business partners of the Liberals getting all these green energy contracts,
00:00:24.380these boondoggles where they don't know what they're doing.
00:00:26.380It's not in the interest of the Canadian people, but the Liberals are effectively handing out money like it's candy to their friends.
00:00:31.900We have the CCP interference scandal, we have Justin Trudeau hanging out with Kalisani extremists,
00:00:36.340we have all this kind of different corruption going on in the Canadian government.
00:00:40.640But while financial and political corruption is bad, I think that the bigger issue in Canada right now is the infiltration of wokeism into the government.
00:00:49.300Ideological corruption, I believe, will always be worse, because when a new government takes over,
00:00:53.800the financial and political corruption tends to go away.
00:00:56.380That as soon as the individuals who are engaging in the corruption and giving out the money and sort of, you know,
00:01:01.080dealing with extremist type people, as soon as they're gone, usually the government that's replacing them has promised not to do those things.
00:01:08.380And they would be pretty roundly rejected by the public if they immediately went back to doing those things.
00:01:13.720This is why ideological corruption is worse, because the legacy of it sticks around.
00:01:18.400Wokeism being injected into the federal government, into the bureaucracy, could end up damaging Canada in the long run,
00:01:26.740because of just sort of the people that it's putting in positions of power into these unelected positions that most people are not paying attention to.
00:01:34.540You cannot operate a country with a bureaucracy, and not that this is the vast majority of federal employees.
00:01:41.320I believe it's the minority of people who are this way.
00:01:44.640But when you have people who have this woke ideology, they believe that Western values, that Canada as a country is a force for evil in the world.
00:01:52.900We have a dark history, everything's bad that Canada does, and we need to be less on the world stage.
00:01:59.020We need to be less about entrepreneurialism and capitalism.
00:02:02.300We need to be more about the government managing things for people.
00:02:05.060We need to get rid of our oil and gas.
00:02:06.940We need to be replacing this with green energy.
00:02:09.400That's what's going to damage us in the future, because even if you elect conservative governments,
00:02:13.080what we could be crippled by is this growth in the sort of HR bureaucracy of the government,
00:02:19.300people who head up different departments and ministries, who are unelected, who will be basically pushing for any challenges to progressive agendas to fail.
00:02:32.340That they are progressives ideologically first, and they are patriotic Canadians second, and probably more like third, fourth, or fifth.
00:02:40.140So we're going to be needing to deal with this in the future, that because we have this ideological corruption,
00:02:47.660we need to focus on reform inside of the federal government, or we're never going to be able to actually get anything good done ever again,
00:02:57.660or we're never going to be able to reverse the Trudeau agenda fully without having people in positions of power,
00:03:03.800in these sort of unelected appointed positions, who actually carry out the sort of the wishes of conservative politicians.
00:03:10.520To steal and modify a quote from Chiang Kai-shek, the anti-communist former leader of China,
00:03:15.800corruption is a disease of the skin, but wokeism is a disease of the heart.
00:03:21.240It's going to be hard to operate a country with a lot of people in the bureaucracy,
00:03:24.780who fundamentally dislike the country, and think it needs to radically change in a left-wing, very anti-values kind of a direction.
00:03:33.700So I think that if Pierre Polly becomes the Prime Minister of Canada, not that he has to campaign on this,
00:03:38.380but there should be the underlying goal to shake up the HR in Canada, to get rid of all this kind of woke infrastructure that's been injected into the bureaucracy,
00:03:49.220defund those areas of the government, and refund the areas that have been neglected.
00:03:54.920Just like look at the passport offices.
00:03:56.460People can barely get their passports processed because of the minimal staffing and budgets for these areas of government.
00:04:03.760While the DEI type areas, the sort of like, you know, people teaching anti-racism in the government as if the Canadian government's racist,
00:04:11.880these people are super well funded, but we don't have the essential services properly funded.
00:04:15.940So I think that the conservative, a conservative government definitely needs to do that,
00:04:19.540because we cannot survive as a country with wokeism weighing us down,
00:04:23.520with people who believe that Western values and traditions are evil,
00:04:27.560and that we need to basically have Canada sort of take a step back on the world stage,
00:04:32.900because we're somehow morally corrupt compared to the rest of the world.
