00:00:00.000 Today on American Glory, I'm going to be talking about how America and Europe's singleness epidemic
00:00:04.420 is a form of civilizational suicide. In my weekly audit, we're going to be taking a look at two 0.64
00:00:09.160 videos talking about why we need more white babies. All that and more coming up right now. 1.00
00:00:13.580 welcome to american glory this is season three on the american family i'm your host dale
00:00:32.520 partridge this is episode one of season three and it's titled how white singleness is killing
00:00:38.420 the west now to be clear i don't want mass singleness anywhere okay marriage is a positive
00:00:44.900 good for every race and for every nation but as we will see today white americans and american
00:00:50.820 christians more broadly are experiencing serious demographic decline and mass singleness plays a
00:00:57.940 critical role in that decline so this season i'm going to be covering the history of the american
00:01:03.460 family from multiple different directions, starting with singleness and marriage, talking
00:01:08.200 about children and birth control, talking about patriarchy and feminism, interracial marriage,
00:01:14.180 infant baptism, and multi-generational family mindsets. Now, if you don't know, American Glory
00:01:19.860 is both a podcast and a video show. And if you want to listen, you could listen on the NXR podcast
00:01:25.640 feed. You could also search for my personal podcast feed. Just search for American Glory or
00:01:30.780 Dale Partridge's podcast. Now, you can listen to those anywhere. You can also watch the video,
00:01:37.040 and I think the video is great because it has lots of slides and it has that documentary feel.
00:01:40.920 You can do so at my YouTube channel at Dale Partridge TV. Okay, on that note, let's begin.
00:01:49.260 The enemy knows one of the most effective ways to eliminate a people is to stop them
00:01:53.840 from marrying and having children. America's singleness epidemic is not some lifestyle trend.
00:02:00.120 it's the result of a very effective and demonic strategy for western genocide now why target the 0.77
00:02:07.080 west well the west is both white and christian and it built the greatest civilizations in history
00:02:13.320 including roughly 95 of the world's most meaningful inventions so hospitals and universities and
00:02:19.720 electricity and automobiles and the internet and nearly everything in between now this is precisely
00:02:25.320 why third world pagans hate us. They envy what they could not build. They want what they did 1.00
00:02:31.240 not create. So they learned to exploit Christian kindness as a way into our nations. And the attack 0.94
00:02:37.380 on American marriage and procreation now comes through foreign immigration, feminism, 0.99
00:02:44.320 interracial marriage, pornography, and a constant stream of liberal laws and Jewish media campaigns 0.52
00:02:50.080 aimed at anti-white and anti-Christian conclusions. Now, I covered some of this stuff in the Civil 0.75
00:02:56.780 Rights Act and the Heart Seller Act episodes in season one, if you want to go back and watch them.
00:03:01.920 But the question about those two acts of Congress is not whether the legislation passed. We know
00:03:08.680 that it did. The question is what the legislation has now produced. And so let me just show you two
00:03:15.360 pictures. Okay. The America they now sell because of the civil rights act and the America they are
00:03:21.860 replacing because of the heart seller immigration act and how those broader effects have influenced 0.78
00:03:29.020 both America's singleness epidemic and our plummeting birth rates. Now, um, since the
00:03:35.300 civil rights act, less than 1% of marriages in America are between blacks and whites yet more
00:03:41.280 than 30% of all media and advertising features black and white couples. The same is true of 0.93
00:03:47.600 Europe. Then while Western nations watch marriage and birth rates just totally collapse, we are told
00:03:54.960 that these foreign groups are the minorities and that we should celebrate diversity and that we
00:04:02.160 should welcome them all into our lands. But the numbers reveal something about how insane this is. 0.75
00:04:08.900 Africa, India, many Arab nations have seen no collapse in marriage and only a rise in births.
00:04:16.740 So in 2025, Nigeria alone had more births than all of Europe and Russia combined. America had
00:04:25.920 3.6 million births, and of those 3.6 million births, about 1.8 million were white. Africa
00:04:32.620 had 47.6 million births. These are staggering numbers. Now, 100 years ago, whites were about
00:04:42.260 35% of the world's population. Today, we are somewhere between 7% and 10%. Now, objectively,
00:04:49.380 we are about to become minorities in our own countries. And so the combination of Jewish-backed 1.00
00:04:55.980 feminism and pornography, the integration campaign of the Civil Rights Act, and the diversity 0.97
00:05:01.200 campaign of the heart seller act have done more to destroy america than any foreign army ever could 0.70
00:05:06.240 have done okay functionally they taught people of european descent to be numb toward sexual 0.76
00:05:13.280 immorality that's with the pornography and the feminism and that it was sinful to prefer your
00:05:18.240 own people and that was the civil rights act and that it was noble essentially to sterilize yourself 0.97
00:05:23.520 abort your kids and be replaced by pagan foreigners in your own land now this is
00:05:29.280 not a, I don't want to make this into some like victim speech, right? Yes. Foreign people sinned 0.97
00:05:35.080 against Western people. Okay. But we also sinned in response. Okay. They served up wicked laws 1.00
00:05:42.420 and we did not fight back. Okay. They brought us porn and we consumed it. Okay. They served
00:05:48.540 up birth control. We used it. They peddled lies. We believe them. Okay. They put filth in our
00:05:56.540 entertainment, but we watched it. So American men grew weak. Our fathers, they stopped guarding 1.00
00:06:03.740 the household. Our pastors stopped naming evil. And a people that will not protect its daughters
00:06:09.800 or its churches or its borders shouldn't be shocked when foreign and pagan threats walk in 0.98
00:06:15.560 and start catechizing the culture in ways that lead to their demise. And when I say there, I'm 0.99
00:06:21.000 meaning us, okay? American Christians must recognize that this is a problem and we have
00:06:27.840 to repent of it. We have to recover our Western Christian heritage. We have to protect our own
00:06:31.760 lands. It is our God-given right to do so. And that is why this conversation around American
00:06:36.760 singleness is deeper than just, oh, it's just shy young men and picky young women or vice versa,
00:06:43.060 right? Beneath today's singleness epidemic is a system that trained an entire generation to
00:06:49.380 relate to the opposite sex in a way that ends in the suicide of our people. Okay. From, from my 0.92
00:06:55.580 perspective, it works kind of like a cycle, right? So women are more impressionable. So they are 1.00
00:07:02.400 catechized first. They sinfully became what they were told to become feminists and whores and 1.00
00:07:09.520 singles and boss babes and, you know, everything in between. Every career path for a woman or for 1.00
00:07:16.220 a daughter for a child was something grand, right? A doctor, a lawyer, a CEO, a politician.
00:07:22.040 So what this did is that when a wife or mother or homemaker are presented as paths for a woman
00:07:32.020 to pursue, they're viewed as way substandard. Now, in reality, our women have grown up in a 0.89
00:07:40.500 framework that repels marriage and children. Okay. We went from barrenness as a curse in the Bible 1.00
00:07:48.180 to like voluntary barrenness as the American dream for nearly all women under the age of 45. 0.70
00:07:53.800 Now the same machine works on the men, but from the other side. Okay. So they are served up a 0.88
00:08:01.460 feminacy and cowardice, right? They are told manhood and masculinity are toxic. So they become 0.96
00:08:08.340 what no good woman wants, soft, delayed, addicted, hiding in video games and porn, 1.00
00:08:16.260 while the household of our nations go unbuilt. And our men have been pacified and essentially 0.99
00:08:24.100 castrated. If a man speaks with some sort of certainty, they're judgmental. Defend a historic
00:08:31.100 norm and you're hateful. Hold the positions of all of your forefathers on things like women or
00:08:36.660 immodesty or race or Israel or abortion, and you're a bigot. Okay, so now that the American
00:08:44.520 culture is dying, we are told that the villains that caused all of this problem and this pain
00:08:53.200 were not the foreigners. They're not Jewish supremacy. They're not pagans. All of this
00:09:02.880 happens and all of this pain occurred because, as we are told, of white Christian men. Now, 0.69
00:09:09.480 Hollywood finishes the job, right? So we know that entertainment is not merely entertainment.
00:09:15.360 It catechizes. It's a form of liturgy. It's shaping a particular mindset. It's forming
00:09:20.360 particular desires. And for the last 30 years, the white Christian man has often been portrayed
00:09:25.700 as what? Well, the fool, the tyrant, the weakling, while the black man or the foreigner 1.00
00:09:32.320 is presented as strong and courageous and desirable. Impressionable young women already 1.00
00:09:39.600 stripped of their father's authority through feminism and taught to distrust Christian men 0.67
00:09:45.260 in general are then drawn toward the image of masculinity they have been trained to admire in 0.71
00:09:51.340 Hollywood, which is not white men. And then when you understand that women operate with this
00:09:59.520 kind of fear-based mentality with a strong desire for peace and harmony, you can see that there's a 0.97
00:10:05.880 reason why they submit to what I would call the perceived cultural conqueror, which they have been
00:10:11.900 told, again, is not white Christian men. There's something sacred about bedtime. See, long after
00:10:17.800 childhood has passed on by, your children will probably forget all the toys that they had or
00:10:23.540 the clothes that they wore, but they'll never forget the nights that mom and dad tucked them
00:10:28.140 in and prayed with them, immersing them even from the most tender age in the word of God.
00:10:34.880 Our friends at Remnant House Home Goods have created beautiful scripture sheets designed
00:10:40.880 to surround your children with God's word from infancy all the way through childhood.
00:10:46.880 Their crib sheets feature 24 carefully selected scriptures for you to read to your children
00:10:52.840 as you lay them down each night.
00:10:55.380 And as they grow, Remnant House offers twin-size scripture sheets
00:10:59.100 featuring 24 powerful passages chosen to help children
00:11:03.220 begin committing God's Word to memory.
00:11:06.520 And if you're looking for an unforgettable baby shower
00:11:09.540 or baptism or dedication or new parent gift,
00:11:13.160 then Remnant House has created the perfect scripture bundle.
00:11:17.100 Scripture tells us, out of the mouth of babes,
00:11:19.920 you have established praise.

00:11:38.440 and so the cycle kind of closes up where women are malformed men are emasculated the vines of
00:11:45.480 the american people which are the women by the way are either taken by foreigners or they're left
00:11:50.840 barren altogether. So we have a culture that makes it nearly impossible to find and sustain 1.00
00:11:56.220 a healthy Christian marriage that produces godly children and sustain any degree of Western
00:12:02.240 Christian heritage. Now, I say all that because I want the singles to know that I understand
00:12:08.140 the complexities of their moment. I understand the war between young patriarchs and young feminists, 0.97
00:12:14.780 and I understand that it's hard for Christian men to find a submissive Christian woman. I also
00:12:20.340 understand that it's hard for Christian women to find mature, driven, and reliable Christian men.
00:12:26.120 So in this episode, I want to remind us why solving this problem is so important. And so
00:12:32.680 I'm going to begin with kind of a biblical and theological case for Christian marriage and why
00:12:36.720 God designed marriage to stand at the center of civilization. And then I'm going to offer a
00:12:42.920 practical and pastoral counsel to three groups, right? So to married people, to single men,
00:12:46.980 and to single women. Now, before I make the case for the necessity of marriage for national health,
00:12:56.020 I want to offer just an important caveat. Now, many Christians appeal to 1 Corinthians 7,
00:13:01.860 where Paul says, quote, to the unmarried and to the widows, I say that it is good for them to
00:13:07.440 remain single as I am, end quote. Now, that statement comes in the middle of a larger
00:13:11.640 discussion in which Paul also strongly affirms marriage. I think that, in fact, I would say
00:13:17.700 that's his primary case there. Now, his point is not that singleness is God's ordinary design for
00:13:23.880 humanity. It's not. But there are circumstances, unique circumstances, in which remaining unmarried
00:13:29.880 may serve a particular calling or season for a man. So singleness is not God's normative will
00:13:39.000 for mankind, and I'm going to defend that shortly. But there are unique, again, there are unique
00:13:43.860 moments in history when singleness may give a man, and I don't think a woman, but a man particularly, 0.51
00:13:49.380 a certain freedom for unusually risky work, right? So Paul himself is a clear example, okay? He
00:13:57.100 was an apostle, called to full-time ministry in a time of intense periods of persecution,
00:14:03.120 and later in the same chapter, he explains that a married man rightly has responsibilities toward
00:14:09.460 his wife that an unmarried man essentially does not. Now, I think that we can see a similar 0.93
00:14:15.960 principle at work today. In the middle of kind of a growing national instability, culture war,
00:14:23.000 widespread marriage crisis thing that we got going on, some prominent male voices may be
00:14:29.540 wise to remain unmarried. Now, for those men, it may allow them to be more intense, more mobile,
00:14:38.100 more outspoken, more willing to absorb personal risk than they otherwise could be if they had a
00:14:44.760 family. And as I well know, as a married man, I have to think not only about myself, but about
00:14:52.360 the safety and stability and the well-being of my own wife and children. And so there are times
00:14:57.320 that I kind of weigh what I say publicly because I know that my family might bear some of those
00:15:02.720 consequences. And I know that there are men with families like Matt Walsh or Tucker Carlson
00:15:08.180 who often have to exercise that kind of prudence. Now, there's also men like Nick Fuentes or
00:15:15.660 Calvin Robinson that may have greater ability for boldness because of their singleness.
00:15:20.540 And so there may be exceptional cases for certain people in which temporary or prolonged singleness serves as a particular benefit because, again, it allows them to be unusually free and untethered for a difficult work and a turbulent time.
00:15:39.820 And again, that is not the norm, but it is a real wartime principle.
00:15:44.700 The modern food industry looked at our food and thought, hey, you know what beef needs?
00:15:49.820 More corn syrup, soy, preservatives, and ingredients that no one can actually pronounce.
00:15:55.740 It's almost impressive.
00:15:57.640 If you'd rather eat something that your great-grandfather would actually recognize as food,
00:16:02.520 then check out Paleo Valley's 100% grass-fed beef sticks.
00:16:07.680 They're made from 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef, packed with protein,
00:16:13.080 and they're the kind of snack that you can keep in your truck, your office, or your backpack
00:16:17.940 without feeling like you're eating edible chemistry. So use code NXR at checkout for 15%
00:16:26.280 off, or you can just click the link in the description below to get started. That's
00:16:31.580 Paleo Valley because food should have ingredients, not a rap sheet. But let's just talk about the
00:16:38.700 norm because the norm is the true solution to national health and recovery. So if you saw my
00:16:45.340 little 12-minute trailer for season three, you may have heard me say that the Christian family 0.99
00:16:51.160 is the immune system of a nation. And when that immune system is unhealthy, the nation has strength
00:16:56.980 and, sorry, when that immune system is healthy, the nation has strength and resilience. But when
00:17:05.140 it breaks down, the nation begins to weaken from within. And that is why marriage is essential.
00:17:11.460 And singleness is not normative. In fact, the first thing scripture condemns is man being alone,
00:17:19.320 right? Genesis 2.18, God says, quote, it is not good that man should be alone, end quote.
00:17:25.620 So too many Christians respond to singles by saying, oh, God is enough. Okay, Jesus is enough
00:17:32.520 for you, right? Sure. Christ is sufficient for our salvation and our ultimate hope,
00:17:39.160 but Christ's sufficiency in salvation does not erase God's design for marriage. So God did not
00:17:45.760 look at Adam and say, I'm enough for you, Adam. I know you're alone, but I'm enough for you. No,
00:17:52.100 no. He made him a wife, not another man, not just a companion. He made him a wife.
00:18:00.180 And God's design goes even beyond marriage into procreation and family. And so he gave the man
00:18:07.500 and the woman what theologians often call the dominion mandate, quote, be fruitful and multiply
00:18:13.580 and fill the earth and subdue it, end quote. Okay, so marriage, fruitfulness, household formation,
00:18:21.780 and nationalism are actually all woven together. And that is that historically and biblically,
00:18:27.020 a nation is simply the largest extension of an ethnic family, which again makes my point that
00:18:32.720 you cannot disconnect the health of a nation from the health of its families because a nation is
00:18:37.680 simply a collection of particular families. Now, another reason we know the family stands at the
00:18:44.620 center of God's design for civilization, even for understanding the kingdom of God, is that
00:18:49.540 scripture constantly leverages the language of family to explain spiritual realities. So God is
00:18:56.400 our father. Christ is the son. Christ is our brother. Christians are brothers and sisters.
00:19:02.780 Christ is the husband. The church is the bride. Okay. The church is the household of God. And 0.90
00:19:09.940 together we are called a chosen race, a holy nation, right? Think about what that means.
00:19:16.640 God explains his kingdom to us through the relationships of the family. So without the
00:19:25.540 natural family, we began losing the reference points God himself chose to teach us those
00:19:30.720 spiritual truths. And if you didn't have a father, understanding God as a father is going to become
00:19:36.380 more difficult. If you never had brothers and sisters, the language of Christian brotherhood
00:19:41.780 has less of a natural meaning. If you're single, the imagery of Christ as the husband and the
00:19:47.520 church as the bride becomes experientially foreign. So sure, the church graciously becomes
00:19:55.380 a family for those who have lost these things. The fatherlessness or the fatherless, they're
00:20:01.480 welcomed in, right? The widow and the orphan are cared for. The lonely are brought into the
00:20:07.000 household of God, right? But notice what scripture is doing. It's restoring what has been lost,
00:20:13.120 not declaring the loss itself is normative. Okay. The Bible assumes the reality of family
00:20:20.000 because family is woven into God's design for human life. Father, mother, husband, wife, son,
00:20:26.020 daughter, brother, sister, household, inheritance, generations, all of these things. These are not
00:20:32.340 incidental categories. Okay. They aren't even religious constructions that might, I mean,
00:20:37.200 these categories arise naturally from the way God made human beings. Men and women,
00:20:44.660 they marry. Children are born. Households are formed. Generations succeed one after another, 0.98
00:20:49.040 right? Property is inherited. Nations grow out of these extended families. And that happens even
00:20:53.820 among pagans, okay? These are creational realities, not strictly Christian ones.
00:21:00.200 And that matters because what we are dealing with today is not merely a violation of God's
00:21:05.040 revealed design. It is that. It is a violation of the most basic requirements of our created nature.
00:21:11.180 Mass singleness and voluntary childlessness are demographic dead ends. They're unnatural.
00:21:18.500 No population can perpetuate itself that way. So again, while I'm focusing on white Americans, 0.99
00:21:23.980 I would affirm the same truths for blacks in Rwanda or Arabs in Egypt, right? If God 0.91
00:21:29.680 created a particular people, we should not work toward or celebrate their forthcoming
00:21:35.180 extinction. We should not, as Joe Biden once excitedly proclaimed, say, you know,
00:21:44.620 whites will be a minority in their own country soon. Okay, that's evil. Okay, that is actually
00:21:50.200 evil. Think about like the animal kingdom. Every species, right? Still walking, flying, swimming,
00:21:56.040 crawling across the earth is here because generation after generation, it reproduced.
00:22:01.760 If reproduction stops, extinction follows. And nobody celebrates the extinction of something
00:22:06.820 that God made, especially animals. But they do celebrate the extinction of one particular group, 0.90
00:22:12.420 which is white people. Now, it really is that insane. And that is exactly why white people 0.99
00:22:19.980 across the West need to have this discussion. And that is exactly what is happening to white 0.61
00:22:24.920 people across the West. And yet modern feminism has managed to take the biological prerequisite 1.00
00:22:31.520 of their own continuation and treat its abandonment as progress. And they celebrate 0.69
00:22:37.840 singleness and they postpone marriage and they sterilize themselves with birth control and they
00:22:42.460 separate sex from procreation and they treat children as obstacles to their personal fulfillment
00:22:48.560 and goals. I recently saw a meme that said, quote, your family on patriarchy. And it showed like one
00:22:56.620 couple that had five children, who each had five children, who each had five children. This is like
00:23:01.800 massive group of people. Then it showed, quote, your family on feminism. And it showed like a 0.99
00:23:07.340 husband and wife with one daughter in it, like the daughter's like in a business suit and she
00:23:12.000 never married. So like feminism literally is willful generational castration. Again, 1.00
00:23:18.260 even nature itself testifies against us in this pattern. So Christianity as a religion did not 0.93
00:23:25.820 invent these familial realities, right? Christianity explains them, sanctifies them,
00:23:32.560 orders them according to their creator, right? Which is obviously Christ, but marriage and
00:23:37.860 family are written into the architecture of the human existence. And that means this crisis cuts
00:23:43.820 in two directions at once. So on one side, it violates nature. A civilization can't survive
00:23:49.960 without men and women marrying and bearing children. On the other side, it violates theology 1.00
00:23:55.180 because God takes those natural realities and uses them to teach us about himself and the gospel.
00:24:01.460 And so when marriage and family collapse, we lose both natural order and theological clarity.
00:24:06.940 And we are not only destroying the structure necessary for people to continue, we are also
00:24:11.900 destroying the natural language God uses to teach people how to understand who he is.
00:24:18.460 And this is why Christian marriage and procreation matter so much. We're not simply
00:24:22.320 marrying and having children. We're importing order into a chaotic world. Every marriage is
00:24:27.860 a physical picture of a spiritual truth. It's a symbol of Christ and his bride walking together.
00:24:33.100 And consequently, every faithful marriage, every Christian household, every generation of children 0.73
00:24:39.660 raised into the faith is an act of civilizational reconstruction. It's wonderful. It's good. It's
00:24:47.420 beautiful. And so if we want Christian civilization, then Christians must marry and build Christian 1.00
00:24:54.800 families. And so I want to briefly speak to those three groups, right? So to the married,
00:24:59.160 to the single men, and then to the single women. So to those of you who are already married,
00:25:07.260 and I'll speak to this much more throughout this season here in season three, but it's essential
00:25:12.860 that you labor to keep your marriage healthy and ordered and fruitful, okay? The central
00:25:19.200 support for healthy Christian households is not simply a good job. It's actually a good church.
00:25:27.220 And yes, income matters. Those are very important things. Stability matters. I get that. But I have
00:25:36.620 noticed in my own personal pastoral ministry that many people who eventually reach out to me for
00:25:41.160 marriage counseling, they stopped attending Sunday worship like years before. And their marriage
00:25:48.420 essentially reached a crisis and they had no foundation. The local church is one of God's
00:25:54.780 primary means of grace for your family. So husbands, it's your responsibility to find a
00:26:00.940 faithful church. And I would strongly encourage, you know, a reformed church, as you probably saw
00:26:05.760 last season, I'm a reformed Catholic and you can look up what that means. And I think that you
00:26:10.060 should lead your family there every single week. Then I think you should lead your family at home.
00:26:17.640 Honestly, like just like five to 10 minutes a day to read scripture, pray with your family.
00:26:23.500 Just a few resources that can help.
00:26:25.860 I actually wrote a book called Simple Theology,
00:26:29.340 specifically to help families catechize themselves
00:26:31.520 and their children and the fundamentals of the gospel.
00:26:34.160 You can pick up a copy on Amazon.
00:26:36.560 There are also excellent audio books on family worship.
00:26:40.460 You can get some in the ReLearn app.
00:26:43.740 Another really great resource that I've used in the past
00:26:46.060 is the Family Worship Bible Guide
00:26:47.660 by Reformation Heritage Books.
00:26:49.940 it basically gives you family talking points for every chapter in the Bible. And so it's a really
00:26:56.180 great resource. So you got to lead. You have to lead. Now, wives, for the love of God, joyfully
00:27:02.640 submit to your husbands, even when you don't believe that they've earned that submission.
00:27:07.260 Okay. Submission to your husband is ultimately an act of obedience to Christ. And it helps
00:27:12.980 restore peace and order and proper authority within your household. Now you got to remember
00:27:18.500 Proverbs 14.1 says, quote, the wisest of women builds her house, but folly with her own hands
00:27:25.880 tears it down, end quote. So if you're employed, your marriage is healthy, you're rooted in a 0.92
00:27:32.900 faithful church, husband's leading, you know, your wife's walking in joyful submission, you're more
00:27:40.440 likely to have more children. And statistically, larger families often come out of healthier and
00:27:44.880 more stable households. And what I mean by that is that family size is often a good sign of household
00:27:50.100 health. Like a family with say four or more children is often telling you something about
00:27:55.080 the marriage, right? There is enough stability or sacrifice or cooperation and long-term vision
00:27:59.760 to keep welcoming children into the home. And on the other side, stopping at, you know, say one or
00:28:05.500 two children can often point to deeper problems, marital tension, fear, financial disorder,
00:28:10.960 individualism, feminism, or simply just like a lack of confidence in the home. Now, I know it's
00:28:15.380 not always the case, of course, but as a general pattern, healthier marriages and healthier church
00:28:21.000 communities tend to produce larger families. All right, I want to talk to the single men.
00:28:26.240 So I believe the highly customizable world that we live in has flowed directly into our dating
00:28:32.880 and courting life. And I've walked many men, many young men, in their 20s and 30s through
00:28:39.460 this nightmare. Okay. So far right men often have this like long list of theological and political
00:28:45.300 expectations that they pull out on the table very quickly. And to some degree, that's wise,
00:28:51.260 right? You don't want to not qualify a woman that you're going to start a relationship with.
00:28:57.720 But if you take that too far, it can turn away a woman who may have gladly been shepherded toward
00:29:04.960 many of those convictions over time. And I can tell you this, if I had sat my wife down 18 years
00:29:11.920 ago and immediately unloaded everything I now believe about patriarchy or reform theology or
00:29:17.780 the 19th Amendment or Christian nationalism or every other theological position that I hold,
00:29:22.580 she probably would have run away scared. Instead, you look first for the high level things, right?
00:29:29.520 Is she a Christian? Does she come from a healthy family and household? Is she teachable? Is she
00:29:36.140 feminine? Does she respect authority? Does she have a good relationship with her father? 1.00
00:29:41.420 And then what you do is you let love take root. There's something useful in the old idea that
00:29:49.960 love is blind. When a Christian woman loves you, feels secure in that love, 0.89
00:29:55.500 trust your leadership. She'll follow you generally wherever you go if you can patiently defend your
00:30:02.920 convictions from scripture or history, sound reason, some of those things, right? So yes,
00:30:09.020 qualify young women, but pace yourself, okay? This takes strategy and patience and self-control. 0.99
00:30:15.780 Think like a shepherd, not like an interrogator, okay? You're not trying to find a woman who
00:30:21.600 already arrived at every conviction that you now hold. You're looking for a faithful woman you can
00:30:27.000 love, you can lead, you can teach, you can build a life together, and you can shepherd her along
00:30:31.320 this journey with you over the decades. Okay, single ladies. The central qualities that you're 1.00
00:30:40.620 looking for in a man are his commitment to Christ, whether he comes from a good Christian family
00:30:45.880 with a similar background to you and whether he loves to work. There are basically two types of
00:30:52.400 men, right? There are giddy up men and there are whoa men. Okay. The first constantly needs to be
00:30:57.860 motivated. Those are the giddy up men, right? They need to be motivated to move and pursue and build
00:31:02.340 and take responsibility. The second group needs to be told to slow down. Now, if I had to choose
00:31:08.460 between the two for my own daughter, I would much rather have to tell a man to slow down
00:31:15.840 and not become a workaholic than constantly try to motivate him out of laziness. Okay. So he should
00:31:22.660 also be particular and decisive. I think that's actually a really good characteristic. Oh, he's
00:31:27.420 very particular. I think that's very good. You want a man that is particular and that is far
00:31:31.400 better than passivity. You do not want a man that is passive and checked out and has to be kind of
00:31:36.660 coddled and motivated. No, you want a man that is going somewhere and he wants to bring you along.
00:31:42.520 You're looking for a leader, not just a lover. So watch how he treats his mother 1.00
00:31:47.780 and his sisters. That'll tell you a great deal about his character. Talk about
00:31:52.480 things like pornography a few dates in, but don't automatically leave a man because he's struggled
00:31:58.180 with pornography in the past, right? Like you're rarely going to find a man these days
00:32:02.000 who has not been bitten by that snake. The real question is whether he has repented,
00:32:07.980 whether he's fighting against it, whether there's like real evidence of self-control in his life.
00:32:14.920 Also, look for a man who actually wants to get married, like six to 12 months of like serious
00:32:22.960 courtship or dating is like historically normal. And in many cases, like plenty of time to determine
00:32:28.760 whether you should marry. What you don't want is a man who keeps you in like this kind of like vague
00:32:33.760 dating relationship for three or four years because he's unwilling to make a decision. You
00:32:37.460 do not want that. Finally, and I believe this is like vital, if you have a Christian father
00:32:44.220 or a trusted pastor, involve him early and often when a man becomes like a serious potential
00:32:52.540 husband. Okay, so I think it's good for women to lean heavily on the wisdom of especially their 0.93
00:32:58.300 father, but older godly men who can see things that young women may not see when emotions are
00:33:05.940 involved. So lastly, I want to just talk briefly about dating apps. I'm not against dating apps
00:33:13.920 for Christian singles. I know they can be very discouraging, but I cannot tell you how many 0.96
00:33:20.320 people I have heard from that eventually found a great spouse through one of the dating apps.
00:33:27.240 And I always say, it only needs to work once, right?
00:33:30.040 It only needs to work once.
00:33:31.800 Now, you need to be careful there.
00:33:33.180 You need to be wise.
00:33:34.720 But I do think they've been helpful,
00:33:36.820 at least for the young people around me.
00:33:39.320 The ideal situation is still, yes,
00:33:41.020 to be raised in a healthy church
00:33:42.760 with young men and young women that you've known for years
00:33:45.400 where families know one another
00:33:47.500 and the character can be observed over long periods of time.
00:33:50.500 But if that's not your situation,
00:33:52.340 using tools available is fine.
00:33:54.620 Just do it wisely.
00:33:55.820 Be discerning.
00:33:56.420 again, involve your family, your church, your pastor, move toward serious relationships rather
00:34:01.960 than this kind of like endless casual dating. And remember that the goal is not to become
00:34:06.440 like this expert at dating, right? The goal is to find a faithful spouse and build a household.
00:34:13.660 And so there's a great, there's a great audio book in the ReLearn app called Reformed Dating.
00:34:19.020 And it's been helpful to many people that I know. There's a few other books in there about dating
00:34:22.540 as well. And you can pick that up at the App Store or also the Google Play Store. So that's
00:34:30.060 the point, right? The crisis of singleness is not a small cultural problem. It's a family problem,
00:34:36.360 a church problem, ultimately a civilizational problem. God built a world around marriage
00:34:41.340 and children. And when those things are healthy, nations become stronger. When they collapse,
00:34:47.140 as they are now. Nations essentially collapse with them. And so we do not recover Christian
00:34:54.040 civilization only through elections and laws and politics. We recover it marriage by marriage, 0.64
00:35:00.720 child by child, household by household, generation by generation. So the future of America belongs
00:35:06.860 to the people who marry and procreate the most. And if it's not Christians, it's going to be 1.00
00:35:13.440 Muslims or Hindus or secular or something else. So one way or another, the future will belong to 0.89
00:35:19.200 the people who marry and who have children. So hopefully that's helpful. Let's go ahead and dive
00:35:25.480 into the weekly audit. Okay. Now this first video is of a black pastor named Jesse Peterson
00:35:38.620 being interviewed actually by Dr. Phil, and he touches on exactly what I've been saying here.
00:35:44.060 Let's take a quick look. You're a pastor, right? Yes. And you're a radio host? Yes. Okay. And you
00:35:50.760 said you believe white people should have more children? We definitely need white babies. And I 1.00
00:35:56.820 tremble at the idea that white babies, that the white group is going down in numbers because if 0.99
00:36:05.160 you lose white folks, America, it's over for America. Because if you notice, white people 0.99
00:36:10.660 tend to be more innovative. They're more creative. They have ideas about things. All these other 0.97
00:36:16.640 races don't do nothing but destroy. They don't build. They destroy. I said you'd piss off 1.00
00:36:22.460 everybody. I was wrong. Now you piss off everybody. So yeah, this point he's making and everybody's
00:36:27.560 like, you know, dumbfounded. Oh my gosh, white babies. How terrible. Right. Okay. The point 1.00
00:36:32.940 he's making is this. Since white Christians have historically carried a disproportionate share of
00:36:38.620 the institutions, the habits, the cultural inheritance that built and sustained the 0.68
00:36:42.740 greatest civilizations that everybody wants to move to, then their demographic collapse is not
00:36:47.660 merely a racial question. It has civilizational consequences. And as I mentioned earlier,
00:36:53.600 people of European descent played an extraordinary role in the development of, you know, modern
00:36:57.520 science and technology and political institutions and universities and hospitals and industry and
00:37:02.820 whatever it is, right? All of those things are associated with the West. And so if those
00:37:08.800 populations cease to marry, cease to have children, cease to transmit their Christian 0.57
00:37:14.480 and civilizational inheritance, something will necessarily replace them. And that's the deeper 0.99
00:37:21.000 issue. Populations do not simply just disappear while their institutions and their beliefs and
00:37:27.660 their social order remain untouched forever. No, civilizations have to be carried on by actual
00:37:36.080 people. And if the people who built and maintained those wonderful civilizations stop reproducing
00:37:42.180 themselves and stop teaching their descendants what they inherited, then eventually the
00:37:49.300 civilization itself is going to change. And that is why his call for more white Christian babies 1.00
00:37:56.140 is not merely about skin color. His argument is that a civilization cannot indefinitely survive
00:38:01.800 the demographic disappearance of the population that historically created it. And so this is very
00:38:08.520 important. We can see this again all throughout Africa. We can see this with African European
00:38:13.060 colonization. And we're seeing that if you import third world people, you get third world nations. 0.97
00:38:18.920 And so it's a very important point that he's making there. Okay. The next video is of a Jewish
00:38:24.240 woman complaining about a family who is particularly focused on the mission of encouraging 0.88
00:38:29.840 Americans and Europeans to have more white babies. Let's take a look.
00:38:54.240 you are some of the more popular and more extreme moms in this community. First up is Sarah 1.00
00:38:59.580 Elizabeth, who alongside her husband posts on Instagram and TikTok with basically the same 0.68
00:39:04.120 few videos all about having more white babies. Almost all of her posts have some sort of caption 0.56
00:39:10.100 like, let's bring back large white Christian families or POV, you know, your race is a minority 0.98
00:39:16.020 race and we need to bring it back to its former glory. So you have half a dozen kids or imagine 0.99
00:39:21.520 if all young white couples started having at least six plus kids, we could save our race 0.98
00:39:26.540 and bring it back to its former glory. She has 65,000 TikTok followers and hundreds of videos 0.99
00:39:33.580 that are basically all just about having more white babies. Her husband, who goes by honorable 0.73
00:39:38.880 crusader on Instagram, has 100,000 followers and all of his posts are basically the same as his
00:39:45.280 wife's. Yeah. So think about if the races were reversed, right? If she were calling out a black
00:39:50.300 family for encouraging people in Nigeria or Ethiopia to have more black babies, it would be 0.99
00:39:55.620 crickets. It would be crickets. But that is what many Jewish voices do toward Europeans and 1.00
00:40:02.520 Americans. They hate Christ and they hate the people who built Christendom, who also happen 0.87
00:40:07.820 to be from European stock, and they work systematically to undermine those people morally 0.98
00:40:13.920 and socially and civilizationally. So the message of this episode is that all Christians 1.00
00:40:21.940 need to be having more babies. But since we're in America, and since we're particularly focusing on 1.00
00:40:29.560 white babies, we need heritage Americans to be having more of those babies as a way to save 1.00
00:40:36.300 our civilization from ruin, but everybody, find a wife, find a husband, create a family, 0.98
00:40:45.300 start a household, raise them in Christ. It's a wonderful and glorious thing. So that's a wrap
00:40:49.640 for this episode of American Glory. Now, if you don't already, you can follow me on X or Instagram
00:40:54.920 or YouTube. I'm posting new content almost every day. Would love to have you follow along there.
00:41:00.580 Now, my featured book for this episode is Simple Theology. I talked about it earlier.
00:41:04.400 Teach your kids the gospel in basically 100 questions and answers. We have answers for
00:41:09.180 littles, for middles, for olders, and it's available on Amazon or at relearn.org.
00:41:14.860 Next week, we'll still be discussing marriage through the lens of biblical patriarchy,
00:41:18.800 the men's and women's roles. What is patriarchy? Why is it essential for the recovery of America?
00:41:25.220 And why your marriage could benefit from it as well. So hopefully that'll be a great episode.
00:41:30.000 My name is Dale Partridge. Thank you for watching or listening to American Glory. I'll see you next week.
