00:02:18.400 instantly liberated from their physical slavery the moment that they believed in jesus so in our

00:02:24.240 text paul commands slaves to regard their own masters as worthy of all honor so that for the

00:02:32.240 very reason that the name of god and the teaching that is christian doctrine may not be reviled

00:02:40.360 These words remind us that there is something greater.

00:02:43.520 Even for us who truly are victims, who truly are being mistreated,

00:02:48.240 there is still something greater at stake than our own personal rights and happiness.

00:02:54.040 How we choose to behave in the midst of unjust treatment bears witness to the God we serve
