00:00:00.000 Leave us a five-star review on your favorite podcast platform.
00:00:03.940 I get it.
00:00:04.620 It's annoying.
00:00:05.380 Everybody asks, but I'm going to tell you why.
00:00:07.660 When you give us a positive review, what that does is it triggers the algorithm so that
00:00:12.440 our podcast shows up on more people's news feeds.
00:00:16.280 You and I both know that this ministry is willing to talk about things that most ministries
00:00:20.820 aren't.
00:00:21.860 We need this content for the glory of God to reach more people's ears.
00:00:26.980 You're doing a great job.
00:00:28.160 We've got several hundred reviews so far, but we'd like to reach a thousand reviews by the end of this year, the year of our Lord, 2024.
00:00:36.900 If you haven't left a review yet, take a moment and help us achieve our goal.
00:00:42.100 Awesome. Well, thank you, Joel.
00:00:44.320 And I appreciate that there is at least someone here who makes me seem a little bit more like a moderate.
00:00:52.080 All I heard Joel say, by the way, I heard two hours.
00:00:56.260 So we go for two hours.
00:00:59.080 That's right.
00:01:01.000 Yeah, so today we're going to be talking about the longhouse and how to destroy it.
00:01:07.120 Kind of before we do that, one of the things that has come up across this conference is all you wonderful people.
00:01:14.720 I met Anons. You don't have to say who you are, but just cheer a little bit.
00:01:20.140 Thank you. Thank you.
00:01:22.400 I didn't, none of them got their mom's permission to be here.
00:01:25.680 Surprisingly, not dwelling in the basement.
00:01:30.620 We are going to talk about the longhouse.
00:01:35.080 And we'll answer a couple questions today, including what is the longhouse.
00:01:38.460 Some of you are probably wondering that.
00:01:40.680 Well, we'll start with an article from The Atlantic.
00:01:45.120 And this is from Hannah Rosen.
00:01:46.120 She was a senior editor at The Atlantic.
00:01:48.360 In 2010, she wrote an article titled, The End of Men and the Rise of Women.
00:01:55.200 Now, it's interesting, in her article, she describes how female dominance has reached every level of society.
00:02:02.260 You probably can feel this in your daily life, and we'll get into that more.
00:02:07.360 But there are startling implications of this for the workforce and politics and marriage and sex and children.
00:02:16.360 You see, Rosen noticed that women started competing in the workforce after the sexual revolution in the 1960s,
00:02:26.180 but now they exert more influence than most men in social institutions.
00:02:32.340 You might ask yourself, well, is that because they're all CEOs?
00:02:35.940 Well, quite the opposite.
00:02:37.680 In fact, just under 3% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women. 1.00
00:02:42.820 So how do they exert control? 1.00
00:02:44.360 control? Well, it's that beloved institution known as the HR department.
00:02:50.480 That's right, School Marm Central. Right, roughly 75% of HR staff in America are women. And as we'll 0.98
00:03:00.700 see, they are hysterical women, not good women. These are the ladies who control most of the 1.00
00:03:08.480 behavior norms in the workforce. So as a result, what we'll see today is that women have become 1.00
00:03:14.380 the enforcement army behind DEI and wokeness and political correctness and cancel culture 1.00
00:03:21.280 and quota-based hiring. Now, it's interesting to Rosen, a lesbian and an Israeli-born Jewish woman
00:03:29.120 who immigrated to New York with her family. For her, this is an exciting turn of events.
00:03:34.720 For the first time in world history, she says, women are playing a dominant role in most cultural institutions.
00:03:42.820 And other ladies have recognized this as well, including Hillary Clinton.
00:03:47.300 You will remember her 2016 campaign slogan, the future is female. 1.00
00:03:53.440 They are wrong, of course, to celebrate this subversion of the natural order, 1.00
00:03:57.760 but they are correct in identifying the rise of what we will call today the longhouse.
00:04:04.720 Now, instead of celebrating it, we're going to be talking about why it's so destructive
00:04:08.700 and, in turn, how we can also destroy it.
00:04:13.180 Now, before we get there, another question arises.
00:04:16.660 Why must the longhouse be destroyed?
00:04:19.720 Well, because, biblically speaking, the longhouse is what you get
00:04:22.960 when passive and weak men abdicate their natural and God-given responsibility to rule. 0.99
00:04:30.340 And they allow, in turn, the worst kind of reviling women to control them. 1.00
00:04:34.720 Welcome to U.S. society. Now the reason that we're living in a woke hellscape is because men have 0.99
00:04:42.160 failed to lead in the home church and society, as biblically called, and they have allowed the worst 1.00
00:04:47.100 kind of women to take over. So three questions that we'll answer in this talk. What is the long 1.00
00:04:53.700 house, first of all? What are its characteristics? How was the long house built in the first place?
00:04:59.860 And finally, how can we destroy the longhouse?
00:05:04.340 So first, what is the longhouse?
00:05:07.800 Well, especially if you're on the dissident right, this term has been used somewhat frequently,
00:05:12.260 and it has been used to describe a rising societal dominance of really Marxist and feminist ideals across society.
00:05:23.380 And an adjoining term, if you will, would be gynocracy, which usually refers to specifically female political rule.
00:05:32.440 Now, for those of you who are like Pastor Dan, who likes to say he's blue collar, he's a bubba, 0.54
00:05:38.080 the TLDR version is a female-ruled and a female-normed society.
00:05:44.460 The concept of the Longhouse actually originates from many Native American and other indigenous people groups 0.87
00:05:51.020 where they would literally build longhouses or huts over which matriarchal forces ruled. 1.00
00:05:59.320 Now, in the longhouse, men are forced to live under the oppressive feminist gaze, 0.97
00:06:04.480 which often feels so much like the eye of Sauron. 1.00
00:06:12.320 The longhouse is a space over which women rule. 0.97
00:06:16.460 Men are subservient and passive. 0.99
00:06:19.160 Masculine energy is stifled.
00:06:22.080 And oppressive safetyism is what replaces risk and ambition.
00:06:27.120 There are no longer hierarchies of competence, but instead, we base our hierarchies off of sex or race-related quotas. 0.99
00:06:35.560 In turn, we get the worst of feminine behavioral norms, which become codified in the system, known as the HR bureaucracy. 0.99
00:06:44.440 We also find that in the Longhouse, speech is heavily policed. 0.52
00:06:50.080 And if you're in the UK, you might even go to jail for some of it.
00:06:53.900 But think in America, what is considered hate speech?
00:06:57.380 It's actually a criminal activity.
00:06:59.900 You cannot say the wrong things.
00:07:03.020 And so for good reason, the Longhouse has come to symbolize the oppressive regime of the all-controlling den mother. 0.59
00:07:11.700 As a 2023 article in First Things describes it this way,
00:07:17.000 the Longhouse refers at once to our increasingly degraded mode of technocratic governance,
00:07:22.360 but also to wokeness, to the progressive and to the liberal,
00:07:27.000 to secular values that pervade all major institutions.
00:07:31.600 It refers to the remarkable overcorrection of the last two generations towards social norms 0.98
00:07:37.420 centering feminine needs and feminine methods for controlling and directing and modeling 0.83
00:07:44.320 behavior. So we might ask a question, where do you see this longhouse at play today? Well, 1.00
00:07:52.240 I think you could see it when the screechy congresswomen berate Pete Hegseth or Kash Patel,
00:07:58.560 and you've seen the mashup videos, they're really great, or RFK Jr. at their confirmation hearings,
00:08:04.260 while men silently and in agony pop nicotine pouches in obvious pain.
00:08:11.920 The women have hysterical outbursts, and the men have to sit and take it. 0.57
00:08:17.500 You also saw it when Colorado female school administrators 0.90
00:08:21.300 tried to punish a 7th grade male student, Jaden Rodriguez,
00:08:25.900 for attaching hate speech to his backpack.
00:08:28.060 And by that, I mean a Gadsden flag.
00:08:30.100 right? His speech, they said, was harming other students. You see, this is the Longhouse. It is
00:08:38.800 the female reporter aggressively interrogating J.D. Vance with bleeding-heart questions about 0.79
00:08:44.220 immigration, to which he responded with the now-famous line, I don't really care, Margaret.
00:08:50.920 By the way, we'll talk about how to defeat the Longhouse. This is the quintessential 0.98
00:08:54.680 answer. This is how you have to respond to this type of woman. What are the rules of the long 1.00
00:09:03.180 house? I call them the Dolores Umbridge rules. Thank you. Number one, first in the long house,
00:09:13.380 conflict is dealt with indirectly rather than directly. So Jonathan Haidt has written at length
00:09:20.120 about this, and he says that when women rule, it's not as though there's an absence of conflict,
00:09:26.140 but rather there is, he says, quote, a different kind of conflict. There is a greater emphasis
00:09:32.040 on what someone said, which hurts someone else, even if unintentionally. There is a greater
00:09:37.860 tendency to respond to an offense by mobilizing social resources to ostracize the alleged
00:09:45.920 offender. This is cancel culture. Rather than engaging in open debate or direct confrontation,
00:09:53.600 anyone who breaks the norms of the longhouse is punished by female-coded tactics, and these 0.94
00:10:00.160 include attacking someone's reputation, social ostracism, as we said, cancel culture, or forcing 0.52
00:10:07.500 them to endure public humiliation rituals. As one author has said, to be canceled is to feel the whip
00:10:15.480 of the longhouse masters. Many of us have experienced something similar, especially
00:10:22.040 in the workplace. So number two, another feature of the longhouse, public discourse is ordered
00:10:30.060 around not giving offense or doing harm, rather than truth or free speech. So in this longhouse,
00:10:37.600 speech norms must provide affirmation at all costs, no matter how bizarre the behavior in
00:10:45.480 question. It is seen, for example, as doing violence to affirm that a man cannot become
00:10:52.020 a woman or that a young boy's genitalia should not be mutilated. In other instances, you can
00:10:58.900 think of like Charles Murray, people are forbidden from speaking at colleges because administrators
00:11:05.560 said their message is too harmful. Now we might ask a question about this. Why are these the rules
00:11:12.200 about speech? Why is it the case that we have to live this way in the longhouse? Well, research
00:11:20.140 clearly indicates that women are far less supportive as a whole of free speech, especially 1.00
00:11:26.840 if you're talking about the single woke females on college campuses. They are often far more 1.00
00:11:32.860 favorable to censorship than are men. They have a greater aversion to direct conflict, and so
00:11:40.600 prefer speech that today we would call tolerant. Now, Corey Clark, who is a psychologist, pointed
00:11:48.280 this out. He says, women are far more likely to believe that hate speech is violence, that it's
00:11:56.260 acceptable to shout down a speaker, that controversial scientific findings should be
00:12:01.460 censored, that people need to learn to be more careful about the language they use, and the last
00:12:07.400 one is the kicker. Women are far more likely to believe that it should be illegal, keyword, 0.90
00:12:13.260 illegal to say offensive things about minorities or people groups, right? This is the longhouse. 1.00
00:12:23.040 Now, third feature of the longhouse, the longhouse makes safety the highest moral good
00:12:29.280 over against risk or adventure or achievement. And here I'm stealing another term from Jonathan
00:12:36.500 Haidt, and his term is safetyism. So he wrote about this in The Coddling of the American Mind.
00:12:42.980 He said safetyism in America has become a belief system that makes safety a sacred value. We saw
00:12:52.320 this most preeminently during the great COVID shamdemic. So think about this. Think about the 0.77
00:12:59.400 litany of violations of basic rights to personal freedom, not to mention the number of deaths and
00:13:05.220 injuries that were justified on the basis of what? Reducing harm. We're going to kill people
00:13:12.000 to reduce harm. Indeed, if the Longhouse was a person, it would be COVID Karen. We've all 0.99
00:13:21.580 seen the the reels about this. Coven Karen is triple masked. She's quad boosted. She's self
00:13:29.920 confined for months on end. She's hyperventilating in panic as she ventures to the grocery store for
00:13:36.860 the first time in nearly a year. Then she will scold the rest of us for wanting to send our kids 1.00
00:13:42.440 back to school or demanding instead that we all abide by her hypochondria on pain of punishment 0.96
00:13:48.800 by the bureaucratic state. This person who could be either male or female by the way is the avatar
00:13:56.660 of the longhouse. So as a result of this the longhouse distrusts outward displays of ambition.
00:14:07.180 It is the longhouse which hates little boys who run around and make trouble. It censures the drive
00:14:14.100 to assert oneself on the world or to strike out for conquest and expansion. Male competition and 0.99
00:14:21.720 hierarchies are most unwelcome and hence participation trophies. Masculinity in this 0.98
00:14:28.660 context is described as toxic unless like evangelicals you can rebrand it in a way that 0.97
00:14:34.600 is female subservient like the servant leader model. Now closely connected to this we might 0.59
00:14:40.860 also add the nanny security state, which seeks to monitor every activity, to sift through our data,
00:14:48.040 to shut down our bank accounts for saying the wrong things on X, and to restrict or fact check
00:14:53.860 which content we can access in the first place. And why do they do all of this? Well, it's in the
00:14:59.400 name of safety. Consider this. The longhouse controls workplace conduct as well. This is
00:15:07.500 another feature. As of 2022, women held 52% of professional managerial roles in the U.S. 1.00
00:15:16.020 Women earned 57% of bachelor degrees. They also earned 61% of master's degrees.
00:15:25.620 This is a shocking stat. Human resource managers are nearly 75% female, while compliance officers 0.90
00:15:34.380 are also about 60 percent. Again, this is significant since these same women control 1.00
00:15:40.280 workplace behavior and speech norms. Many of them, you'll be shocked to find out, are left liberal 1.00
00:15:47.920 politically. For example, over 80 percent of gender or grievance studies graduates, and yes, that's a
00:15:55.440 real thing, over 80 percent of those are women. So Richard Henn and I have pointed this out in one of
00:16:02.280 his articles, which you can find on Substack, but he talks about how the civil rights regime
00:16:07.200 really transformed HR bureaucracies into the enforcement wing of virtually every institution,
00:16:13.920 private or public. And these institutions would reshape American culture according to feminist 1.00
00:16:20.040 norms. So you think about this, without the legions of predominantly left-leaning, 1.00
00:16:25.840 college-educated women to run these departments, there simply could not have been a massive 1.00
00:16:30.900 cultural shift toward woke left ideals. Again, Noah Carl points the same thing out, and it's
00:16:38.660 rather fascinating, if not troubling. Women in the academy were the instrumental cause of wokeness 0.99
00:16:45.920 in America. You couldn't have wokeness take off without college-educated women. Now, fifth, 1.00
00:16:54.300 will say this about the longhouse, women are almost never at fault. Never. When I say never,
00:17:02.480 I mean ever. Never, ever. Right? In the church, we see this not only, obviously you can see it here
00:17:09.860 with the purple-haired lesbaterians and the Lady Pastrixes, but here's the kicker. You also find it
00:17:17.680 in conservative and reformed churches, which have male leaders and male elders, and yet
00:17:24.220 those elders are functionally ruled by the emotional state of their reviling wives.
00:17:30.260 The evangelical longhouse can also be seen in Christianity Today, or the Gospel Coalition. 0.75
00:17:37.240 You see it in the SBC's ERLC, with staffs which are made mostly of women, and Russell 0.65
00:17:43.880 Moore, but I repeat myself.
00:17:47.680 Thank you. I worked hard on that one. I mean, come on.
00:17:53.880 There is a prohibition in the church against confronting female sins. 0.98
00:17:58.780 Most of you have seen this in action, unless there's one exception here,
00:18:04.100 unless the sin is not loving yourself enough.
00:18:08.560 Now, in non-Christian circles, we've actually seen the same thing with the rise of feminism
00:18:14.180 and the infiltration into all of our institutions.
00:18:16.840 so you think of the Me Too movement. For example, we were told to believe all women.
00:18:23.620 And think about this one. It's evil and wrong in both cases, but think about this. 1.00
00:18:28.220 When Bill Cosby drugs and rapes women, this is seen as a heinous evil.
00:18:33.660 When Cardi B does it, she gets a free pass, and not only that, she is celebrated for it.
00:18:39.740 now I want to move into this section now talking about where the longhouse come from and you might
00:18:47.400 think well maybe this is a most recent phenomenon but actually C.S. Lewis talks about this even
00:18:54.000 dating back to the 1950s and this sort of theme finds its way into the Narnia series I mean it's
00:19:01.880 pretty super based to C.S. Lewis by the way to use a you know child's book to talk about the longhouse
00:19:08.120 but he does. And you say, where? Well, at the end of The Silver Chair, which was published in 1953,
00:19:16.120 Lewis tells the story of Jill Pol and Eustace Scrub as they return from Narnia, and they go
00:19:21.700 back to their school, which was, we're told, a place of meanness and conceit and cruelty and
00:19:27.800 sneakishness. And you might ask yourself, how did the school get this way? Why was this school
00:19:34.620 dominated by the worst kind of bullies. Well, Lewis tells us in no uncertain terms that the
00:19:41.120 school was run by a hysterical woman. This is the word that he chooses, and I think Lewis, who had a 0.54
00:19:47.400 keen intellect, likely chose the word hysterical for a reason. You see, the Greek root word here
00:19:54.520 is hystera, which means womb or uterus, and the Greeks associated hysteria with an uncontrollable
00:20:03.420 outbursts of emotion or fear, often characterized by irrationality. And they attributed this, of
00:20:10.380 course, to the female hormonal state. Now, when left unchecked, this kind of hysterical woman, 1.00
00:20:17.560 or what the Bible calls a reviling woman, will create a suffocating longhouse. And so, 1.00
00:20:25.380 when the headmistress sees the children with Aslan, she frantically calls the police to report
00:20:31.560 that a lion has escaped from the zoo.
00:20:35.500 This is most interesting from Lewis.
00:20:37.420 The school bullies cry out, and I'm quoting,
00:20:40.280 murder, fascists, lions, it isn't fair.
00:20:45.500 Isn't that interesting? 0.89
00:20:46.460 Why did he include fascists?
00:20:48.780 Well, it seems today is not the only day
00:20:50.800 in which people are called Nazis for speaking the truth.
00:20:55.640 Do you notice also the word fair?
00:20:58.300 It isn't fair. 1.00
00:20:59.560 Well, this is fundamentally where a hysterical and feminist society will take us to a place of equality that is utterly oppressive. 0.98
00:21:10.160 And so Lewis writes the following, which I think is a rather savage takedown of female rule.
00:21:18.860 He says this, and then the head, and he's talking about the headmistress, but he capitalizes head, so you don't miss this.
00:21:27.640 And then the head, who was, by the way, a woman, came running out to see what was happening. 0.92
00:21:33.300 And Lewis writes, she had hysterics, and the head was behaving like a lunatic.
00:21:39.840 After that, the head's friends saw that the head was no use as a head.
00:21:44.600 So they made her an inspector to interfere with other heads.
00:21:48.580 They created an HR department.
00:21:51.700 And when they found that, this is really good.
00:21:54.080 And when they found that she wasn't much good, even at that, they got her into Parliament, where she lived happily ever after.
00:22:03.560 Thank you.
00:22:05.800 C.S. Lewis, based.
00:22:08.840 Right? And we'll get to this in a minute, but women in politics, it's a controversial issue, but it leads inevitably to the Longhouse. 1.00
00:22:16.880 The point is simple here, yet wildly offensive to modern sensibilities. 1.00
00:22:22.100 Anywhere women replace men in places of rule, and that includes the family and the church and society, you will get the longhouse. 0.63
00:22:31.920 You will get a society consumed by hysterics and gross injustice. 0.96
00:22:37.940 Yes, they will claim they are all about equality and fairness and tolerance, but it will produce moral chaos.
00:22:45.040 You don't think the moral chaos in America is disconnected to the 1960s and feminism, do you?
00:22:53.220 By refusing God's natural order of male rule, American society has embraced the curse that Isaiah foretold when he said this, 0.72
00:23:03.720 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. 0.98
00:23:09.680 This is an indictment on our culture. 1.00
00:23:13.300 so now the next question how did we get here and how was the longhouse built well first the church 0.96
00:23:22.320 caved to feminism instead of upholding god's natural order a male rule in the home church
00:23:28.140 and in society i won't belabor this point because joel just made the pitch for a new christendom
00:23:34.760 book honor thy fathers by zach garris but if you're wondering more about this see works cited
00:23:41.220 with Zach Garris on Honor Thy Fathers. It's a great book, and he goes through the Reformed
00:23:46.400 tradition on these teachings. They are not novel, so they're not new, and they have stood the test
00:23:52.820 of time. We have to go back and find and rediscover and establish the ancient landmarks.
00:24:00.720 So that was number one, the church caved to feminism. And number two, as a culture, we also
00:24:07.020 embrace the lie of feminism. Have you ever heard someone say, well, first wave and second wave, 0.99
00:24:12.120 they weren't so bad, right? They weren't so bad. But let's look for a moment at the roots of
00:24:18.480 feminism. You see, where statist Soviet Marxism failed, the Gramsian form of cultural Marxism
00:24:25.780 succeeded. Largely, it did so through social institutions, right? First, the academy,
00:24:32.720 then in corporations, bureaucracies, media, and finally, in the home. 1.00
00:24:38.100 In the 20th century, the first and primary advocate of feminism, of course, was Betty Friedan. 0.99
00:24:44.320 She was born Betty Naomi Goldstein to Jewish immigrants from Russia.
00:24:49.040 I'm just reading the facts here, people.
00:24:52.760 These are just the facts. Look it up on Wikipedia, I promise.
00:24:56.440 Every time.
00:25:00.380 That's right.
00:25:02.100 You see, Betty Friedan was a Marxist agitator who studied under Erich Erickson,
00:25:11.260 who was born in no other place than Frankfurt, Germany.
00:25:15.320 He himself studied under Sigmund Freud's daughter, Anna, who worked in child psychology.
00:25:21.360 He was the inventor of the term identity crisis.
00:25:25.800 And yes, by the way, this is the same Frankfurt, Germany,
00:25:29.060 where critical race theory blossomed and spread.
00:25:32.100 You see, Ferdinand would write the feminine mystique, which spawned the most recent waves of feminism in America.
00:25:38.820 The whole point was to undermine father rule in the home and society, and it's been quite effective, hasn't it?
00:25:45.820 Rather than oppose this radical Marxist teaching, the church and American society instead, sadly, embraced it.
00:25:53.400 The third thing that happened was that this infested our education system.
00:25:58.040 So other critical theorists from Frankfurt, Germany, include Herbert Marcuse, who coined the term repressive tolerance, which is what the left loves so much.
00:26:09.180 And they made their long march through the education system.
00:26:13.160 Now, originally we had the new left, but this has since become the radical left, which now controls all education, K through 12.
00:26:21.900 And you could ask another question about this.
00:26:24.780 Well, how effective have the Marxists been in shaping the education system and society?
00:26:32.760 Consider one stat. 1.00
00:26:35.040 In the 2024 election, non-college educated white women, no college, white women, they cast 63% of their vote for Republican candidates. 1.00
00:26:47.180 While roughly 60% of white women with a college education all voted for Democrats. 0.99
00:26:54.780 College has been quite effective in shaping the political landscape of our nation.
00:27:01.460 There has been a simple formula.
00:27:04.080 You control education, you control the children, and you control the future.
00:27:09.540 And again, if you want more on this, see Abigail Schreier's book, Bad Therapy, particularly with child psychology. 0.99
00:27:16.920 It's really how the transgender movement infiltrated as well. 1.00
00:27:21.340 And fourth and finally, I'll say this, that feminism infested our workforce. 1.00
00:27:27.960 So education, now the workforce. 1.00
00:27:30.680 Where do all those college-educated leftist women go? 1.00
00:27:34.880 By the way, I didn't make up that term. 1.00
00:27:36.580 Joel Kotkin refers to this, the single woke female is on the rise, 0.76
00:27:41.660 one of the most important voting blocs in America and most powerful at present. 0.56
00:27:47.600 all right all these women went out of the home and into the workforce again major push of the 1.00
00:27:54.800 feminist movement from the 60s as we've already shown many of them will go on to run hr departments 0.97
00:28:01.720 and to control behavior norms across society now the fun part how can we destroy the longhouse 0.93
00:28:11.920 How do we actually take an axe to this idol tree and tear it down?
00:28:18.620 Well, I think today we have fundamentally a crisis of conviction.
00:28:23.540 In the longhouse, truth becomes weak and insignificant.
00:28:28.240 But Western civilization was built on the basis of firm Christian conviction and principle.
00:28:35.880 I go back to Isaac in the Old Testament, wandering in the desert.
00:28:40.360 and his people are potentially dying of thirst.
00:28:44.620 And what did Isaac do?
00:28:46.960 Well, he went back and he found his father Abraham's ancient wells
00:28:50.840 and he re-dug them.
00:28:53.000 You see, the Philistines had stopped them up,
00:28:54.960 but he took the time not to invent something new, 0.55
00:28:58.560 not to look for something fashionable,
00:29:01.100 but to go to the old wells of wisdom and learning. 0.82
00:29:05.240 And so in our time, our society is a bit like the Ninevites. 0.97
00:29:09.580 they didn't know their left hand from their right and neither do we we don't know which bathroom we 1.00
00:29:16.120 should actually be using right so we have to go back to the old wells and to the ancient paths
00:29:23.360 of our church fathers and read what they actually wrote and said about things like
00:29:28.080 sex piety and roles for men and women in that society we have to arrive fundamentally at
00:29:35.880 principled conviction from scripture that God made men and women for certain things down in their very
00:29:43.460 bones, and this includes the fact that men alone are made to rule in all spheres of life. And as
00:29:50.500 they say on Haunted Cosmos, see our published work. Lots of content. Number two, how do we tear down
00:29:58.120 the longhouse? Well, we keep revising the history. You remember the quote from George Orwell,
00:30:05.880 who said that if you erase a people's past, you control their future.
00:30:12.000 The histories we tell ourselves matter greatly.
00:30:16.720 Here's the thing, the Longhouse knows this, and so should you.
00:30:21.460 For example, did you see how bad the Longhouse melted down
00:30:26.180 when Daryl Cooper from Martyrmaid went on Tucker to talk about World War II?
00:30:31.820 Why did they lose their mind?
00:30:33.660 because they no longer in that moment had control of the historical narrative.
00:30:40.360 Did you see how mad the reformed gatekeepers got
00:30:43.120 when we revisited the Crusades on the King's Hall?
00:30:47.760 Why? Again, because the histories matter.
00:30:51.600 You see, one of the left's greatest weapons is bad revisionist history.
00:30:56.840 And so this can be turned against them as well.
00:30:59.980 We need to keep talking, for example, about Rhodesia.
00:31:04.600 We need to keep talking about Franco and the Spanish Civil War.
00:31:09.540 And we also need to keep talking about the real damage that globalist and statist liberal democracy has brought upon the world.
00:31:18.920 You have to keep revising the history.
00:31:23.440 Number three, don't let your own house be a long house.
00:31:28.500 Don't let your own home be that very same longhouse.
00:31:32.740 And if you hear nothing else in tonight's talk, I would encourage you to hear this point
00:31:38.360 because I think it is the quintessential problem with so much of the modern church. 0.88
00:31:44.820 Many are familiar with the tragic death of Tsar Nicholas and his family at the hands of Jewish Bolsheviks.
00:31:52.840 With his death, Russia was swallowed up by Marxist revolution. 0.59
00:31:57.800 But the real tragedy and the real reason for the collapse of his rule happened much before that. 0.96
00:32:05.580 You see, Nicholas would not confront his wife about Rasputin, who was a drunkard and a sexual degenerate, 0.85
00:32:12.000 and who also had a huge influence on political affairs. 0.97
00:32:16.680 When asked why he was too cowardly by his counsel to remove Rasputin,
00:32:22.420 Nicholas told one official better 10 Rasputins than one of the empresses hysterical fits
00:32:29.940 right how many men are in that exact same position you know I would correct this issue
00:32:38.180 in the church but I'm going to hear about it from my wife or I'm going to hear about it from the
00:32:43.100 elders wives you see too many men in America are living in fear of their wives or their daughters
00:32:51.140 they are controlled by their hysteria and so for example we find this is often the case
00:32:59.020 people will read a book like zack's or they will listen to one of our podcasts
00:33:04.320 or they'll hear something that joel said about women reading books
00:33:08.100 and they will say yeah i agree with you i think that is what the bible teaches but then it stops
00:33:17.060 there. And here's the point. Conviction alone is not enough. The real problem, if you were to ask
00:33:24.900 me, and you don't get to, I'm just here, so I'm going to tell you, is that these men go home and 0.93
00:33:30.740 their own household is run by a hysterical woman. She is what scripture calls the reviling wife. 1.00
00:33:37.180 She controls her home like a thermostat with her emotional state. She will demand that her husband 1.00
00:33:44.360 lead. This is one of the great ironies. She'll say, you have to step up and you have to lead.
00:33:50.020 But then she will freak out if he ever tries to exercise any real authority. One of my favorite
00:33:57.220 scenes from The Office, which typifies this, is Ryan. And many of you will have seen The Real,
00:34:04.500 but he says this, I want guidance. I want leadership. But don't just like boss me around,
00:34:12.720 you know like lead me lead me when I'm in the mood to be led right many of us have
00:34:22.180 mistakenly thought that that was genuine headship and submission and it's not
00:34:27.740 now the same man probably goes to church where the pastors or elders are in the exact same
00:34:35.100 predicament they too are ruled by their wives and so he's in a real pickle because if he goes
00:34:41.260 to them for help, they will typically blame her sins on him. Well, if you just led better,
00:34:47.060 she wouldn't be like this. And thus he is stuck under her tyranny. And so let me recommend another
00:34:55.280 book to you. It's like a long pitch for New Christian Press tonight. We have a new book
00:35:01.240 coming out from David Edgington. I think this will be one of our more important books in the coming
00:35:06.860 year, and it is titled White Nights and Reviling Wives, How Feminism Destroys Families. And so for
00:35:15.500 the many men that we've talked to who are stuck in this kind of relationship, this is a practical
00:35:21.180 and pastoral guide to actually confronting the sins of a wife like this. It will show you how
00:35:28.600 to actually get help and to destroy the longhouse in your own midst, and you must, right? You can't
00:35:35.720 be concerned about society if the longhouse is inside your own walls. Number four, you need a
00:35:43.400 tribe of courageous men. You need a tribe of courageous men. In other words, for the Anons,
00:35:50.940 keep vibing with the boys. And boys is, it has an I in it, okay, not a Y. And this is really actually 0.91
00:35:59.660 very important. I think about all the turmoil and the tumult that we, many of us, went through as
00:36:05.360 leaders in the last year. It's good to have friends like Joel Webbin. It's good to have
00:36:12.180 friends who stand by you in the thick of the onslaught. Well, think about this. What do the
00:36:18.440 longhouse gynocrats hate the most? What was so offensive to them in the last couple of years? 0.69
00:36:25.620 Well, the most powerful thing, it seems, was the ethos of something like White Boy Summer.
00:36:31.900 Yeah.
00:36:33.540 I saw a pimp by person here.
00:36:35.380 I know you're here.
00:36:38.200 Right?
00:36:38.960 Joyful with a touch of rambunctious fun.
00:36:42.700 Tie it to a post-mill swagger.
00:36:45.380 Even if you're Stephen Wolfe, you have to tie it to that.
00:36:49.180 Mandate it.
00:36:50.720 You have to have kind of this gregarious attitude.
00:36:54.240 We are going to win.
00:36:55.860 We are so back.
00:36:57.580 Right?
00:36:57.780 You have to embrace the J.D. Vance.
00:37:00.580 I don't really care, Margaret. We're going to keep vibing with the boys, right? Now think of
00:37:06.880 the Native American contest. How do you escape the longhouse? We actually form bands of men who hunt 1.00
00:37:14.260 and track and make war. You literally sometimes have to get up and leave the longhouse and find
00:37:20.740 a tribe of men. And so one of the things that we say in Ogden is that you need a tribe that believes
00:37:27.680 in theological maximalism. This is a core value for us. It simply means that we apply all of
00:37:36.180 scripture to all of life. There are no problem passages at Refuge Church. The more you are
00:37:44.420 around courageous men who are also willing to confront the longhouse and to address female 0.97
00:37:51.220 sins, the more you will be courageous yourself, and so find your tribe. Number five, you have to 0.75
00:38:00.560 embrace a policy of safety third. Yes, the school moms want you to stop smoking and doing anything
00:38:07.540 dangerous, and then you say, Margaret, I don't care. We're going to do it anyway, right? This is
00:38:13.520 related to vibes and tribes. You need to find one that embraces not the policy of safetyism and
00:38:20.800 fear, but of what we call safety third, right? Safety third. It was Mike Rowe who pointed this
00:38:28.640 out in his great show, Dirty Jobs. If safety really is first, you will never do anything
00:38:35.000 meaningful. You will never take risk. You will never build that business. You will never go
00:38:40.240 on great adventures. You simply won't do it. You'll remain stuck where you are. Safety cannot
00:38:47.620 be first. And as we've seen with some of the speakers, Calvin Robinson spoke of this as well.
00:38:54.820 It may mean that you have to say things that get you in trouble because they are true things.
00:39:00.740 And we need to do that. Number six, you have to get stronger and then post physique.
00:39:09.100 You have to do it. How's your deadlift? Okay. Whereas the longhouse runs on seed oils
00:39:17.260 and soy and sclerotic weakness, we must be about sun and steel, healthy, strong, dangerous,
00:39:26.640 competent, well-controlled men. Watch what happens, by the way, in many of the pietist camps. 0.87
00:39:34.080 Anytime one of our guys posts a video of the boys working out, right, the pietists come in, 0.98
00:39:41.280 Well, you know, real spirituality is about knowing Christ, right? 1.00
00:39:45.360 Yes, I know that.
00:39:47.620 But the body matters.
00:39:49.400 Your body belongs to the Lord.
00:39:51.320 So make it as strong as you possibly can.
00:39:55.720 Take care of your body.
00:39:57.340 Think about which food goes into your body.
00:40:00.320 This is all very important. 1.00
00:40:02.720 The gyneocracy wants you weak, and so be strong. 1.00
00:40:07.940 This will drive the longhouse matriarchs crazy, 1.00
00:40:11.120 but it is part of the way in which we win. 1.00
00:40:15.240 Number seven, personal favorite,
00:40:17.720 meme them harder.
00:40:22.040 This is actually kind of funny to me.
00:40:24.320 Why were people so upset about the memes?
00:40:28.020 Well, it has an 80s synthwave vibe to it.
00:40:30.360 This is just childish.
00:40:35.280 Yeah, that's the point.
00:40:36.560 it's great we're having fun they're campy memes with the boys right but there is something here
00:40:42.880 actually about a sense of humor and about cultivating again an ethos and a vibe right
00:40:49.300 they will melt down in oblivion when you share them and so I'm giving you permission and you
00:40:53.680 don't need it but just keep doing it make your rational logical arguments and then laugh and 1.00
00:41:00.660 ridicule and playfully scorn their stupid positions, right? There's a vibe to this thing, 1.00
00:41:06.960 and it's important. And that's why it's so effective, and it's why the Longhouse hates it.
00:41:13.340 Number eight, we need to develop education that has a distinctly masculine presence. This is so 0.57
00:41:21.020 important. I remember years ago, Rush Limbaugh talked about this major theme where conservative
00:41:28.040 dads would send their daughters off to college, and they would say, she came back a liberal,
00:41:32.740 and I don't know what happened. Right now, she hates everything that I love, everything that I 0.62
00:41:38.260 believe. I sent my kids to the public school, and they came back, and they have smartphones,
00:41:43.880 and they know how to find pornography. Where did they learn all these things? Well, in my estimation,
00:41:51.360 I think too many conservatives are simply being dumb or passive when it comes to education. 0.96
00:41:58.040 There is literally no secret that public education from K to 12 to college 0.98
00:42:03.180 is vehemently opposed in every way to the Christian faith.
00:42:07.160 That is not a secret. 1.00
00:42:09.180 And yet people will say, well, go there.
00:42:10.880 Let's hope it turns out okay.
00:42:13.520 Yes, some people survive plane crashes,
00:42:16.160 but I don't think we should be crashing the plane on purpose
00:42:18.780 just to see if it works out.
00:42:21.480 This education system in America is the catechumen class
00:42:25.920 for the demon cult of the left. 0.82
00:42:28.040 There is no better factory for atheists and apostates than the modern school system. 0.90
00:42:34.180 And so as Christians, we must reject this option. 1.00
00:42:38.380 Now, part of the reason the school system is so bad, and this will be like right-wing watch offensive, 1.00
00:42:45.600 why is it so bad is because it's ruled by hysterical women. 1.00
00:42:50.080 Now, an all-female school, especially for boys and their teens, I would argue, is not ideal. 1.00
00:42:56.460 but it is especially not ideal if they are all the worst kind of God-hating leftists.
00:43:04.200 What we need in schools for our boys is male presence and male rule expressed in those same
00:43:11.780 institutions. And you might ask yourself, yeah, well, what do you do about this sort of thing?
00:43:17.460 I'll whet your appetite just briefly and talk about some of the things that we've done in Ogden.
00:43:23.100 Many of you have gone back to the new Christendom booth, and you've met Mr. Ethan Sen,
00:43:28.040 and he's like a king and a giant of a man, and we love him. He's a pastor at the church,
00:43:32.820 but he's also leading the third and fourth form, which is like our older high school boys.
00:43:40.300 Ethan was an A-10 pilot, and Ethan is a man's man. He's the kind of guy you look to and you say,
00:43:46.580 I want my sons to be like him. And it's good for teenage boys, for example, to have PT tests
00:43:54.340 from Pastor Sen. That's good for them. They need to be around men, particularly in the teenage
00:44:02.060 years. The other thing we've done to heed C.S. Lewis's teaching and warning is we've hired a male
00:44:10.040 headmaster. And yes, you can just do things. Make your teachers, especially in older ages, men.
00:44:19.280 Number nine, men need places to work that are not controlled by the HR longhouse, right? As I've
00:44:26.520 already shown, the workplace is a longhouse because it is run by hysterical women and again with HR 1.00
00:44:33.840 departments. But the problem in America runs deeper than this. In all the jobs that men are 0.94
00:44:39.840 so well suited to doing, working with their hands, like the trades and like manufacturing,
00:44:45.880 well, these jobs have largely been displaced. Manufacturing has been shipped overseas. We do
00:44:53.020 not love our neighbors when we do this just so we can have cheap junk from Amazon, right?
00:44:58.980 Manufacturing jobs are important for middle class men, especially. 0.97
00:45:04.820 Right now, our economy is dominated by nurturing professions that women tend to feel. 0.87
00:45:12.880 So health care, teaching, child care, food services, things that are like a housewife. 1.00
00:45:21.120 We send them into the workforce to do them. 0.96
00:45:25.380 So another question related to this, what's the way out for men?
00:45:30.820 Well, number one, we need to revive the trades.
00:45:33.920 I think this is what Mike Rowe was seeing so many years ago.
00:45:37.920 We need to celebrate and revive a centuries-old tradition of valuing craftsman-level work in the trades.
00:45:44.620 We need to show men that it is dignified work to work with your hands.
00:45:49.920 and second and related to this we need men to start and buy and own and operate small to medium
00:45:58.080 sized businesses that refuse to play by the longhouse rules you actually don't need an hr
00:46:04.820 department again if you're interested in this i would direct you to mr david reese pastor david
00:46:10.400 reese reese fund back in the corner he is literally doing this work so if you want to talk to a wise
00:46:16.080 man, about how to get out of the corporate longhouse, talk to David. That would be a good
00:46:21.500 starting point. Number 10, and we're getting close to the end, I promise, in a Joel kind of way.
00:46:31.420 Number 10, we need to confront the ways in which the conservative movement 0.95
00:46:35.020 is the longhouse in a skin suit. This is where it kind of hits home, right? Because 1.00
00:46:41.420 We have all the favorite people that we listen to on the conservative spectrum, but they're the same people that are celebrating when Dave Rubin and his husband are adopting children.
00:46:54.000 This is the Longhouse.
00:46:56.400 Part of our task is that we have a prophetic role.
00:47:01.240 Obviously, most of you have probably seen that there's a shifting vibe on the political spectrum.
00:47:07.600 There is now a resurgent right.
00:47:10.640 The left is doing what the left does, talking about mutilating children, being Tim Walz.
00:47:16.900 I don't know what he's doing.
00:47:18.580 Self-imploding every minute.
00:47:20.060 And we do have an opportunity, but we have to speak prophetically to our friends on the right and call them to repentance,
00:47:29.260 even if they temporarily hate us for it, and they probably will.
00:47:34.780 So important question to ask within the conservative movement.
00:47:39.460 What aren't you allowed to talk about?
00:47:42.400 You're finding the longhouse in many ways when you find this.
00:47:46.920 What subjects are considered taboo?
00:47:50.560 The conservative movement also has hate speech norms, don't they?
00:47:56.020 We have to see the ways in which the conservative movement operates as a longhouse, 0.84
00:48:02.480 sometimes with a skin suit, sometimes not. 0.99
00:48:05.720 So a few examples.
00:48:06.660 the conservative dad's real women of America swimsuit calendar with Riley Gaines. 0.85
00:48:13.940 I mean, it's great that she was going against the trans stuff, 0.88
00:48:17.640 but come on, it's like now you're going to sell young women in swimsuits to dads 1.00
00:48:23.060 as though that was a good thing.
00:48:25.380 And the question for us as conservatives and Christians,
00:48:28.400 do you have the courage to confront that?
00:48:32.540 What about Dennis Prager's support of AI child porn
00:48:35.940 and his endorsement of sex outside of marriage. 0.84
00:48:40.420 What about that?
00:48:42.120 What about Nancy Mace and her support of women in the military 1.00
00:48:45.160 and then the celebration of fornication as well? 1.00
00:48:49.960 She's opposing the trans thing, 1.00
00:48:52.320 but she's also in favor of bringing women into the military.
00:48:55.960 What about Ben Shapiro's hostility toward anyone
00:48:58.520 who dare criticize Israel in any way?
00:49:02.200 Why are we not allowed to talk about those things?
00:49:05.940 And if you want to defeat the longhouse, you have to clean up in the camp as well.
00:49:12.600 Number 11, papas.
00:49:15.100 This is like a country song gone wrong. 1.00
00:49:17.280 Papas, don't let your daughters grow up to be boss babes. 0.99
00:49:23.420 This one hits close to home. 0.95
00:49:25.700 Because many in our camp are going through this process. 0.51
00:49:28.580 We're thinking about sex piety.
00:49:30.900 But then there's all these spaces where we're like, yeah, I don't know.
00:49:33.840 but my wife really likes that podcast.
00:49:36.900 I'm not sure what I should think about it.
00:49:40.780 Do you tell your daughters that the primary or the only way
00:49:45.560 that she can fulfill her calling is by being loud and agonistic
00:49:50.880 in the public space about political issues? 1.00
00:49:56.040 If you do, you might be helping build the longhouse. 0.97
00:49:59.560 Do you tell her that her highest calling will be away from the home and the political realm?
00:50:06.500 You are, in fact, building the longhouse when you do this.
00:50:10.460 When we celebrate sending our daughters to work in politics in Washington, D.C.,
00:50:16.580 which many call Sodom on the Potomac, you are building the longhouse. 0.98
00:50:22.260 And so what we need to do is fully recover Titus II womanhood.
00:50:26.260 the woman who is glorious because she builds up her husband's household she cares for her children
00:50:32.960 and she establishes a thriving home so I plead with you please stop setting before your girls
00:50:40.760 boss babes as heroes and yes I mean the conservative ones
00:50:47.300 number 12 and coming to an end say true things no matter how unpopular we have to speak to the taboo
00:50:56.680 You cannot live by the rules set for speech by the longhouse.
00:51:02.000 You have to absolutely refuse on this point. 0.99
00:51:06.660 In the Christian nation we're seeking to build, we will call gay things gay. 1.00
00:51:11.480 That will happen. 1.00
00:51:12.840 We will refuse to use their stupid pronouns. 1.00
00:51:16.460 And yes, hold the Judeo, I'll take the Christian. 1.00
00:51:19.420 Thank you very much. 0.97
00:51:25.980 We will not eat your bugs, and we will enjoy our own owned space.
00:51:37.380 We will not be participating in your struggle sessions or your performative denouncements.
00:51:43.280 We will not be canceling our friends for holding regime-unapproved opinions,
00:51:47.060 and we will not be signing your declarations.
00:51:50.640 Instead,
00:51:50.980 Instead, I asked Ben, I said, do you think they'll get that one?
00:52:05.020 I think they got it.
00:52:07.800 We're not canceling our friends simply because we disagree with them on any number of issues.
00:52:15.220 Instead, we must embrace the honest and reasonable conversations about taboo subjects and inconvenient truths.
00:52:24.620 Again, you have to ask yourself the question, what am I not allowed to say?
00:52:29.420 And then you do this really crazy thing.
00:52:31.060 You say it.
00:52:32.720 Yes, I agree with the panel.
00:52:34.120 We have to be prudent.
00:52:36.420 But what we need, above all, is also courage.
00:52:40.460 You have to say things that will get you in trouble.
00:52:43.800 And when you do, have a friend like Joel who says crazier things, and then you seem kind of moderate.
00:52:52.980 Right?
00:52:53.580 The other thing that we have to face, I think, in the reform camp, it's not about saying things that were brave 10 years ago.
00:53:00.300 You see whole movements of people who make either their ministry or their whole message about saying what was brave in Calvin's day.
00:53:09.480 But what we need to do is say the brave things that are brave today.
00:53:12.860 Know the times, by all means. Be prudent. Know your principles, but then speak bravely on the
00:53:20.760 most pressing issues that are afflicting your people today. This is the work of a shepherd.
00:53:28.420 Think about how Paul drove off the wolves. Well, the feminists are wolves, and they are preying 1.00
00:53:34.880 upon our people. So I plead, especially with pastors, do not remain silent. We made a decades 1.00
00:53:43.240 long mistake as churches by not addressing this problem. So we must begin now. I encourage you,
00:53:52.840 friends, to find the front lines of the cultural battle, find the Longhouse's favorite idols,
00:53:59.580 and start swinging your axe.
00:54:03.240 This is how you destroy the longhouse.
00:54:06.880 Thank you.
