The Podcast of the Lotus Eaters - The Podcast of the Lotus Eaters #995

00:00:00.580 Hello and welcome to the podcast of The Lotus Eaters, episode 995, on today, Friday the

00:00:05.220 6th of September, 2024. I am your host, Connor, joined by Harry and Luca Johnson, who last

00:00:10.460 time was on the show, was on our election night. Have you recovered yet?

00:00:14.040 It was kind of worse than the jet lag back from Japan, not going to lie.

00:00:17.980 Well, I hope all the biscuits are flushed out of your system. Time for us to discuss

00:00:20.960 today how men have struck again over in Germany, the Tenet media Russian disinformation story,

00:00:26.580 obviously we've got friends involved, so we wanted to get into that, and the colonisation

00:00:29.980 of the proms. But, one thing that is British culture, that has not been corrupted, we will

00:00:35.420 be discussing today, at three o'clock, finally we are doing the Hot Fuzz Roundtable that,

00:00:40.160 internally, we have promised, since establishing this large studio. Harry, you want to say something?

00:00:45.500 I've only just seen this thumbnail. One, this was my idea, so why is Josh in the middle?

00:00:51.080 Two, why that picture of me? Why that one specifically? Samson, you've got a lot of

00:01:00.000 answering to do, my friend.

00:01:01.540 This is actually the laughing boomer face, but like young Harry.

00:01:05.780 That was me, that was me trying to pass a mouse to Josh. It was turned into a, you know,

00:01:10.900 Adam and God moment.

00:01:12.380 This is revenge for the time you've been hitting the desk, basically. Far too animated for your

00:01:17.440 own good, my friend. Anyway, if you're a premium subscriber, you'll be able to watch that

00:01:20.080 live. If you're not yet a premium subscriber, till still time to sign up. Remember, we get

00:01:24.120 no ad revenue on YouTube, so you're the only one supporting us. Without further ado, turns

00:01:29.340 out men have struck again. If you remember a few weeks ago, we discussed how men from

00:01:33.520 the nation of no fixed abode, very violent country, that one, have been committing lots 1.00

00:01:37.400 of crimes across Europe, and they're all men of a particular demographic that we cannot 1.00

00:01:42.080 notice. Well, today we're going to be going through three new and updated case studies

00:01:45.760 about how these indiscriminate men seem to have, for no apparent reason, committed Islamic

00:01:51.580 terror attacks. Shock. But, before we do that, Islander merch is on the website. I believe

00:01:56.060 today is the last day that you can get the Islander merch from the first issue. Maybe

00:02:00.900 because there's another issue on the horizon. Who knows? Ooh. But Rory designed all this

00:02:04.760 merch, and this t-shirt in particular is a very good looking one. He's put a lot of effort

00:02:08.600 into it. We all love this t-shirt. It's an amazing t-shirt. I love classic 8-bit Orcs

00:02:14.100 and Elves games. I don't wear graphic tees, but if you are inclined to wear graphic tees,

00:02:18.260 remember, this is the only way to support us other than donating on the website or subscribing

00:02:22.040 to the website, which you should also do. So, please consider it, and this will be limited

00:02:25.300 edition, so you can post to all your friends if you have those. Don't know why you'd want

00:02:29.440 them. Anyway, on to an update. What's happening in Germany? Why was everyone voting AFD? Could

00:02:34.620 it have been that the 15% migrant population are committing 41% of the crimes? What crimes 1.00

00:02:39.020 you ask? How about a terror attack? So, yesterday was the anniversary of the 1972 Munich Olympics

00:02:47.120 massacre. If you don't know what that is, basically a Palestinian terror group called Black September

00:02:51.060 went and killed 12 people. I think it was about 5 or 6 members of the Israeli Olympic team

00:02:56.220 and a bunch of other hostages, and then there were 7 of those that died as well. There was

00:03:02.860 a shootout. None of the hostages got rescued. One of the police officers died. This caused

00:03:07.880 the establishment of the GSG-9 German police service. It was a massive event. I think it

00:03:12.720 was commemorated at the 2020 Olympics with a minute of silence. On this anniversary, a

00:03:17.700 bloke turned up outside the Israel Foreign Ministry in the Munich Consulate and decided

00:03:23.020 to discharge a World War II rifle 30 or 40 times. Problem is, there was basically no one

00:03:27.160 inside the building, so he wasn't the brightest terrorist of the bunch. 0.98

00:03:31.520 A bit useless. When Josh told me that this had happened, I asked him, oh, was this one 0.76

00:03:35.840 of those new Germans? And he said, well, it was either them or one of the old Germans. 0.91

00:03:40.240 He used old German weaponry, but he's not even German. As DW tell us, right, this is an Austrian 0.98

00:03:47.900 man. An Austrian man. He's back. Why would Austrian men do this? Police say, a few hours after

00:03:56.100 the incident, they shot him, by the way, an 18-year-old Austrian, an 18-year-old with

00:04:00.820 Austrian citizenship, but they didn't comment on potential motives. Currently, and this is

00:04:05.280 according to DW, and this is a quote from the Munich Police and Public Prosecutions Office

00:04:10.280 in a joint statement, currently we're working on the assumption that it's an attempted terrorist

00:04:14.380 attack, also in connection with the Consulate General of Israel, although the focal point

00:04:18.120 of the running investigations is the motivation of the suspect. Now, what wasn't mentioned in

00:04:21.400 here, about the Austrian man, as revealed by Build. Lord Almighty, I don't know what

00:04:27.340 button to press with that, but anyway, you can see that end of the description. The attacker's

00:04:30.940 name is M-R-A-I, so they've condensed that down, and he does...

00:04:37.120 M-R-A-I. M-R-A-I. M-R-A-I. Typical German name, right? According to Build, and Build, bear 0.64

00:04:46.500 in mind, was the outlet that first published the photos and information that the

00:04:51.240 stabber at the Solingen Diversity Festival was a Syrian national, and they got that 1.00

00:04:54.440 right, so they're pretty authoritative out there. According to Build, the man was born

00:04:58.920 in Austria, he has an Austrian passport, so we know that makes him Austrian. Ignore 1.00

00:05:03.360 the fact he has Bosnian roots, ignore the fact that he's a second-generation immigrant.

00:05:07.020 This is all just exactly the same as the Welsh man from Southport.

00:05:10.920 Yep, quite. Well, there's a slight difference, because obviously we don't know the motivation

00:05:14.120 of the Welsh man from Southport, but I think we can guess here, because the thing that

00:05:17.000 was left out, in 2023, he was reported on suspicion of membership of a terrorist

00:05:21.000 organisation, because the Austrian authorities found ISIS propaganda on his phone. Conveniently

00:05:26.180 left out of the prior articles. I looked at a bunch of other articles, by the way, to

00:05:29.480 present to you, that were in English, because this one's in German. You can translate it,

00:05:33.560 but I thought it'd be easier. Wasn't mentioned in Reuters, wasn't mentioned by the BBC, wasn't

00:05:37.320 mentioned by the DW. I wonder why they conspicuously left that motivation out. I'm sure it's just

00:05:43.800 men.

00:05:44.200 I wonder why the AFD are rising.

00:05:45.680 Hmm, yeah, I wonder why the promise of mass deportations is appealing to so many young 1.00

00:05:50.860 Germans. I mean, the point being, totally avoidable accident. Incident, not accident. Don't let

00:05:56.720 foreign criminals into your country. Would be a fantastic idea. Same thing's happening 1.00

00:06:00.660 in the UK. Really glad this is not an isolated incident. We had this come out yesterday.

00:06:07.600 So the Home Office were meant to be having an inquest about this aspirational Marine being 0.99

00:06:14.020 stabbed to death by an Afghan. And they now don't have to do the inquest, because the 1.00

00:06:18.580 coroner, and this is Rachel Griffin, senior coroner for Dorset, ruled yesterday, Wednesday,

00:06:24.640 on the 5th of September, there was no need for a full inquest into this murder, because

00:06:29.200 she said there was a system of checks in place when this chap, Lawangin Abdullrahim, Abdullrahim,

00:06:37.220 I can't pronounce this name, Abdullrahimzai. Abdullrahimzai, that's it, thank you. There was

00:06:43.340 apparently a whole system of checks in place when he entered the country to check his identity and

00:06:47.120 undertake an age assessment, so it's not a systemic failure that he slipped through the net.

00:06:51.500 We're going to go through the details of this case, because I happen to think this hasn't been

00:06:55.660 labelled a systemic failure, and hasn't been investigated, because it looks so bad for the

00:07:00.160 authorities that led him through the net, that the entire immigration and asylum system would fall

00:07:04.100 apart if they admitted fault here. But she said, although there was an emerging pattern of violent

00:07:09.680 behaviour, and a risk to others of harm at the time of the incident, that the illegal immigrant 1.00

00:07:14.480 had used a knife in an act of violence, apparently he hadn't made any threats to kill anyone since

00:07:20.660 arriving in the UK in December 2019. She said, it's too speculative and remote to state that there

00:07:25.660 was a causal link between these missed opportunities to detect him, and Tommy's death, the chap who was

00:07:31.620 killed. Let me see what you think. So the details of the case are, Tom Roberts, 21, stabbed to death

00:07:36.800 by this chap, the Afghan guy, who had previously shot two migrants with a Kalashnikov in Serbia while

00:07:42.480 travelling to the UK. Might have been able to detect that.

00:07:46.640 So while he was escaping persecution, I assume?

00:07:50.860 Persecution, sure. Not one of the interpreters. Why would he be fleeing from the Taliban?

00:07:55.780 Why would he know how to use a Kalashnikov? Is it possible he was a militant?

00:08:01.460 We can never know. We can never know these things.

00:08:03.900 It's not that they admitted that they were using the asylum thing to, you know, literally infiltrate us.

00:08:09.220 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, so this chap, Abdul Rahim Arzi, arrived in the UK on December 26th, 2019,

00:08:17.260 hidden in a vehicle, back of a lorry, on a ferry from Cherbourg, and told the Border Force officials

00:08:22.520 he was 14. At the time, no assessment was carried out.

00:08:25.820 Oh, thank God, you're illegally entering the country, but you're 14. Come right in. 1.00

00:08:29.700 And we're not going to check it at all. No documents, we're just going to take your word for it, right?

00:08:33.520 His fingerprints were taken a few weeks later, and revealed he had links with Norway and Italy,

00:08:37.460 so he'd passed through other safe countries, noted war zones Norway and Italy.

00:08:41.600 The fingerprints were then sent to both countries, but with no request for further information,

00:08:45.340 for some reason. So they just sent the documents and didn't request follow-up.

00:08:48.620 If this had been done, it would have revealed that his age was in question, because he's actually 19.

00:08:55.120 Yeah. So, full-grown adult posing as a child.

00:08:58.600 On January 29th, 2020, his foster carer reported that a dentist said, Abdul Rahim Arzi,

00:09:04.980 was older than he had indicated, and while it felt an age assessment was needed,

00:09:08.800 it wasn't done because the authorities felt a mental health assessment was needed first.

00:09:14.220 They needed to check if he would be upset by being asked his age.

00:09:18.620 We are not a serious country. He was placed in a secondary school in Bournemouth, Dorset,

00:09:24.780 so just stuck in a school, without the need for an age check, even though lots of people were

00:09:27.940 questioning his age, including his own foster family.

00:09:29.920 This is literally a George Alexopoulos cartoon.

00:09:33.000 Yes.

00:09:33.400 Yeah.

00:09:33.960 Yeah.

00:09:34.500 Yeah.

00:09:34.860 For context, there's one where, you know, there's a school, and they're in the class,

00:09:39.440 and one of the girls gets stabbed, and then it's a full-grown Afghan man with a big beard,

00:09:45.380 and the teacher says, don't worry, it's just his culture.

00:09:49.260 Well, funny you say that. He was expelled for carrying a knife, and then immediately enrolled

00:09:52.680 in another school nearby.

00:09:55.860 Why is he in the country?

00:09:58.320 You could have just sent him home. You could have checked his age and deported him, but no.

00:10:01.620 Then, from December 21st, 2020, and throughout 2021, there were several incidents and concerns

00:10:06.460 raised around Abdul Rahim Arzi, carrying knives, including allegedly chasing another pupil at his

00:10:13.060 school with a knife, which he denied.

00:10:14.920 In May 2021, he hurt another student at the school, causing an injury, and July that year,

00:10:19.660 he tried to headbutt his foster carer, who managed to move out the way.

00:10:22.760 Oh, that's alright then, is it?

00:10:23.960 In September, when he had been placed somewhere else, he was accused of assaulting another child.

00:10:27.780 So, just a repeat criminal offender who lies about his age.

00:10:30.420 Also, let's stop for a moment and consider what we're hearing here, is a 19-year-old, presumably

00:10:37.620 as time goes on, you know, he's getting to 20, 21 years old.

00:10:41.680 Here he is.

00:10:42.540 He's gone.

00:10:43.360 Yes.

00:10:43.640 He comes to this country, lies about his age, and then they put him in a school immediately,

00:10:51.840 and he, as a full-grown adult, who should at least, at the very least, be interested in

00:10:57.820 doing other things than hanging around a school that he's too old for, decides to hang around

00:11:03.100 a school, bring knives, and chase other kids around.

00:11:06.020 How is it not humiliating for him to consider that that's what he's having to go through

00:11:11.740 to try to stay in this country?

00:11:14.220 So, there's no dignity, there's no shame in this person, not that I would expect it of

00:11:18.780 someone like him, and then he goes around terrorising schoolchildren, and this is just normal.

00:11:26.680 It's part and parcel.

00:11:27.700 This is something that he presumably is fine with.

00:11:32.120 Obviously, I'm not surprised that he was going around terrorising children, but the entire 0.97

00:11:36.020 situation is ridiculous. 0.99

00:11:38.480 It's ridiculous. 0.99

00:11:38.980 If I had to break into a country and do something like this, I don't know if I could look myself 0.93

00:11:45.180 in the mirror. 0.88

00:11:45.980 It's only ridiculous because he knows that he's going to be allowed to get away with

00:11:48.720 it, because the system somehow operates on the presumption that everyone is just telling

00:11:52.800 the truth, and that everyone is going to be free, equal, and peaceful as soon as they

00:11:57.560 make contact with British soil, so he couldn't, one, possibly be lying, and two, he therefore

00:12:01.720 knows that he can do anything, such as acting like the exact barbarian he was back in his 0.71

00:12:05.560 homeland and in various countries along the way, and not get kicked out of the country.

00:12:09.020 Yeah.

00:12:09.340 Because if we had, I don't know, gone to Japan and claimed to be asylum seekers from our

00:12:15.360 government, and then claimed to be 12, and then entered a Japanese school and started

00:12:20.540 chasing people around with a machetes, as is a British pastime these days, we'd expect

00:12:24.240 to be sent home.

00:12:25.660 But no.

00:12:26.680 I'd expect a bit more of a brutal beating than being sent home for doing something like

00:12:31.700 there.

00:12:32.040 It really is, though, the trail of events that led there that I just find so inconceivable

00:12:37.560 as well, that, you know, obviously it's all come to tragedy for, you know, this victim

00:12:42.080 involved, you know, here in Britain, but the risk put on all these citizens in all these

00:12:47.880 other European countries as well.

00:12:49.860 Like, you know, it could have been some random Swede, it could have been a Norwegian, right?

00:12:53.700 Their governments are just as complicit in this as ours, because all of them, on a European

00:12:59.900 scale, are working with such duplicity, such, you know, as, you know, to all these people

00:13:11.560 that they're putting at risk in their own countries.

00:13:13.380 It's monstrous.

00:13:13.560 Yeah, well, they fundamentally believe that it's just a product of education and economics 1.00

00:13:17.440 that savages like this are insane, murderous liars. 0.96

00:13:21.180 And it's like, no, some people are fundamentally morally bankrupt. 0.99

00:13:23.540 And the whole way through, he must be thinking to himself, I can't believe I've got away

00:13:27.580 with all of this.

00:13:28.720 Obviously, you know, it was good for him that he was able to get away with it all for so

00:13:32.520 long, but he was laughing at us, and rightfully bloody so the whole time.

00:13:37.140 I mean, why?

00:13:37.720 I wouldn't say rightfully so, but...

00:13:39.820 Rightfully so at the systems that allowed it to happen, because they are a bloody joke.

00:13:44.040 Yes.

00:13:44.580 So there's more details here that they might have been able to catch him on before he decided

00:13:48.220 to murder this poor young chap, who's actually a massive credit to our country, and this

00:13:52.140 guy is a net drain on culture, resources, and morality.

00:13:56.020 In January 2022, the authorities held a meeting confirming an age assessment would be carried

00:14:00.780 out, because Abdul Rahimazi had been, quote, bringing females back to his placement and

00:14:07.300 was refusing to attend school or engage in education.

00:14:10.580 Oh, okay.

00:14:11.060 So, you might think an age assessment might be needed there.

00:14:14.620 You might think a few eyebrows would be raised, but no, nothing happened still.

00:14:18.120 I'm sure the teachers didn't want to be racist.

00:14:19.820 And just a normal structure, right, in that school, like, if you'd not turn...

00:14:23.020 Take away who he is, right?

00:14:24.360 Just a normal child.

00:14:25.620 If you're in that situation, like, you'd be kicked from the school, or you'd be, you

00:14:30.020 know, excluded or something, because you've not been turning up.

00:14:33.640 That's...

00:14:34.200 And that didn't happen to him either.

00:14:36.000 But the problem you have, and I've spoken to people who work in schools like this, problem schools

00:14:40.440 will shift students around, especially if they are non-white or immigrants, because

00:14:44.980 they don't want to be seen as being racist, despite the criminal behaviour of the school

00:14:49.860 pupils themselves.

00:14:50.560 And what'll end up happening is they'll send them from one failing school to a slightly

00:14:53.040 more successful school, on the premise that the more successful environment will recondition

00:14:57.960 the student, because fundamentally, we're all equal.

00:15:00.300 But instead, it just makes life harder for all of the better students at the more successful

00:15:04.040 school, because the only thing that makes the school better is the character of the students

00:15:07.180 and the staff.

00:15:08.340 So then, two months pass by, right?

00:15:11.100 From when an age assessment is needed, because he's bringing young girls back to his flat, 1.00

00:15:14.860 to March.

00:15:16.500 March the 10th, in the evening, 30 hours before Tom Roberts was stabbed, the police received

00:15:21.400 a call about a youth carrying a machete-style knife in public.

00:15:24.700 The coroner's report, the same woman that says we don't need to look into this any further,

00:15:27.880 right?

00:15:28.560 States that when the police attended his address to speak to the chap, the gates were locked

00:15:32.600 and they could see a member of staff asleep at his desk and couldn't gain access.

00:15:36.080 So they just gave up.

00:15:38.060 Great.

00:15:38.420 Abdul Rahimazi was then went on to kill Tom Roberts, and he was jailed for 29 years for

00:15:46.500 Roberts' murder in March 2022, following a trial at Salisbury Crown Court.

00:15:50.880 It later emerged he was flagged as, quote, susceptible to terrorism by the Home Office's

00:15:54.820 Prevent Task Group in 2021.

00:15:57.300 So he was known to the authorities for over a year.

00:16:01.080 Say the line, Bart.

00:16:02.460 I wish that had booze in it.

00:16:04.260 Yeah, I know.

00:16:05.040 I wish I was still drinking.

00:16:06.380 Abdul Rahimazi's fingerprints were not shared with Interpol until after Roberts' death,

00:16:11.200 which revealed in September 2022 he had been convicted, convicted of double homicide in

00:16:16.440 Serbia.

00:16:17.660 So he'd killed two people in Serbia.

00:16:19.680 Right.

00:16:20.180 On the night of the 31st of July 2018, Abdul Rahimazi walked into a shed in the farmland

00:16:24.920 on the edge of Don Brinke, where a group of refugees, refugees, were staying, and gunned

00:16:30.340 down two Afghan men with an AK-47.

00:16:33.840 So if they would have just gone through the process of actually checking his age with his

00:16:36.960 fingerprints, they would have found out he was already a murderer.

00:16:39.260 If they would have done any of the age checks after he chased students around with a knife

00:16:44.020 or, presumably, sexually assaulted women, they would have found out he was a murderer.

00:16:49.080 But no, Tom Roberts had to die because the government voluntarily chose not to do their 0.98

00:16:53.660 job.

00:16:54.240 And yet, yet, Miss Griffin, the coroner, says that the inquest did not meet the criteria

00:17:00.200 for Article 2 of the European Convention of Human Rights.

00:17:03.100 Article 2 states, if the state knew or ought to have known of an immediate risk to an individual's

00:17:10.200 life, it must take responsible steps to deal with that risk.

00:17:13.840 Of course she didn't rule it.

00:17:15.560 Because if this implies that the state knew ahead of time this guy could have been a murderer

00:17:18.900 and they could have done things to stop it, then the entire immigration and asylum system

00:17:22.680 is culpable.

00:17:23.860 It is remarkable, isn't it, that the European Convention on Human Rights seems to protect

00:17:28.120 the rights exclusively of everyone but Europeans. 0.93

00:17:31.360 Curious, that, isn't it?

00:17:33.320 It's almost like the purpose of a system is what it does.

00:17:35.920 So, they call everything systemic failure, but the entire point of this was to say it

00:17:41.460 wasn't a systemic failure.

00:17:42.820 So they spoke to his mum, the Telegraphs.

00:17:44.700 This is Dolores Wallace Roberts, poor grieving woman. 0.99

00:17:47.560 She said,

00:17:48.220 Home office don't want to engage with us.

00:17:50.100 They are accountable and there is negligence here, but they just block any attempts to find

00:17:54.920 out more.

00:17:55.520 They're basically saying it's okay for someone to walk around with a machete in public.

00:17:58.660 They're supposed to be helping the public and protecting their safety.

00:18:01.360 But instead, the coroner is protecting the home office, Dorpset police and the BCP council.

00:18:05.540 Everything is wrong in this country and it will continue to happen again.

00:18:09.300 She's absolutely right.

00:18:10.120 I mean, a couple of weeks ago, I covered the Raikou unit that oversees preventing the

00:18:13.780 home office and they spend billions of pounds, man hour, even pay actors to gaslight people

00:18:20.020 after terror attacks.

00:18:21.420 So, your children will be killed and you'll be told don't look back in anger.

00:18:24.480 But then, when these criminals are allowed into the country, preventable measures can

00:18:28.360 be taken to detect whether they're criminals ahead of time and they can be sent back.

00:18:31.820 They won't.

00:18:32.660 They'll overlook it.

00:18:33.340 They won't admit fault and it will happen again.

00:18:34.980 And it has happened again.

00:18:36.360 This time, a woman.

00:18:37.360 So, this woman didn't have a driving license. 0.99

00:18:41.500 Ran a man down.

00:18:44.700 Oghenewari Shitu.

00:18:46.780 I'm not making that up.

00:18:48.640 Was driving a green BMW on Nantwich Road with Stanson, near Nantwich, Cheshire.

00:18:53.560 So, close to home, Harry.

00:18:54.620 When her car hit Stephen Ray on the 9th of February.

00:18:57.940 You can't notice whether or not the names of the perpetrators and whether or not the names

00:19:01.220 of the victims are any different because we're all equal after all.

00:19:03.600 It's not like foreigners are killing the indigenous population.

00:19:06.060 Shitu, 39, of Ruskin Road, Crewe.

00:19:09.580 Ah, Crewe Woman. 0.99

00:19:11.220 Clearly, Crewe Woman. 1.00

00:19:12.760 Not from anywhere else.

00:19:13.700 I'm from Crewe.

00:19:15.560 Yeah.

00:19:16.260 All of these names and all of these place names are very, very familiar to me.

00:19:21.740 Now, whenever I return home, I've noticed that all of a sudden, I've mentioned this

00:19:25.640 before, all of the old folks around the local town and the town surrounding as well are no

00:19:31.580 longer being escorted around by the usual care workers from, say, 2019 and beforehand.

00:19:37.540 All of a sudden, it's all being replaced by men and women like Shitu. 0.99

00:19:43.040 Same in my rear.

00:19:43.860 Providing Shitu service to these people.

00:19:47.800 And then doing this to locals.

00:19:50.320 Poor Stephen Ray.

00:19:51.220 And we wonder why the abuse rates are through the roof.

00:19:53.420 Reminder, the World Health Organization found recently that two in three care workers have

00:19:57.080 admitted to abusing their patients.

00:19:59.520 And a UK provisional license with driving without insurance.

00:20:03.720 Fantastic.

00:20:04.480 Driving like a typical third worlder, actually. 1.00

00:20:06.440 Yeah.

00:20:06.740 She's only been jailed for four years and two months for killing this man.

00:20:10.040 Why is she here?

00:20:10.700 Why has she not been deported?

00:20:11.420 So only a little bit more time than if she'd sent a nasty tweet.

00:20:15.220 Don't worry, she's been banned from driving as well.

00:20:17.020 I'm sure she'll...

00:20:17.580 I'm sure she'll...

00:20:18.220 I'm sure there already was.

00:20:19.400 Yeah, I'm sure she'll abide by that rule.

00:20:22.620 Why is she in the country?

00:20:24.840 Why have we got to pay for her jail sentence when we were already subsidizing her career? 1.00

00:20:28.840 Because remember, if she was here on a care worker visa or something like that, or generally,

00:20:33.040 we can make generalizations here because immigrants of this type are never net tax contributors. 1.00

00:20:37.120 We've been paying since she's been here, and now we're paying to keep her here.

00:20:40.540 And presumably when she's let out, probably an early release, she'll stay here and be a net drain. 1.00

00:20:44.760 And also, this poor man paid with his life for her to be here.

00:20:48.940 Yeah, quite.

00:20:49.740 So at this point, immigration is obviously a threat to the indigenous populations of Europe, 1.00

00:20:53.540 but they won't admit it because the government can stop all of these tragedies happening.

00:20:58.320 Their policies are complicit in them happening, and so whenever you try and get transparency

00:21:01.960 from it, they'll never admit fault, and this will sadly just keep continuing.

00:21:06.780 Anyway, we've got a rumble rant.

00:21:08.200 You had to bloody find one that's literally where I'm from, didn't you?

00:21:11.020 Yeah, sorry, genuinely, mate. I did scour for any other news.

00:21:14.300 No, no, no, no.

00:21:15.260 Everything's depressing.

00:21:16.260 It's always awful when it hits close to home, and thank you for confirming that I am in the right

00:21:21.620 to give a bit of side-eye to some of the new care workers in the local town.

00:21:26.740 Yes.

00:21:27.240 The Last Russian, with $2 on rumble, says something pertinent to our next topic, actually.

00:21:30.660 Yeah, this is to the next subject.

00:21:32.240 He says, how many right-wing channels rely on donations and superchats?

00:21:35.300 Pretty much all of them because we get demonetized for telling the truth.

00:21:37.860 If you cover news and receive any foreign money, you're now guilty of the same crime

00:21:41.440 as Tenet Media.

00:21:42.260 I vote for full transparency there.

00:21:44.000 No, no, it only matters if the money is from one country. 1.00

00:21:46.660 Yeah, Russian garbage human. 1.00

00:21:47.920 We're going to have to cancel that subscription. 1.00

00:21:49.660 Sorry, mate.

00:21:50.840 Anyway, take it away, Harry.

00:21:52.000 Anyway, yeah.

00:21:52.860 I thought I needed to burp, and I didn't.

00:21:56.920 It might just take me by surprise, so we'll see.

00:22:00.660 Always exciting when you've got a little bit of unexpectedness in the podcast.

00:22:03.780 Anyway, so foreign money is a big problem in America, being donated to political causes

00:22:10.860 and being used to influence political causes and swing elections one way or another, but

00:22:15.780 only if it's from one country.

00:22:17.540 Only if it's from one country.

00:22:19.460 And that's what we'll talk about right now, which is that Lauren Chen, friend of the show,

00:22:23.860 friend of the show, who appeared on here a couple of weeks ago, might be in big trouble

00:22:28.820 with the US government, as has been revealed by an indictment that has been released, I

00:22:34.320 think it was on Wednesday it got released, that suggests that her company Tenet, disclaimer

00:22:41.320 that all of this is speculation and allegations at the moment, both because it's being looked

00:22:45.880 into and because the indictment itself doesn't explicitly name anybody, but this does give

00:22:51.500 all of the information needed to identify the people that it is speaking about.

00:22:56.160 She might have been accepting money from Russian donors involved with Russia Today News.

00:23:02.820 So this is very interesting, let's take a look, but before we do, we don't accept any foreign 1.00

00:23:08.760 money from anybody, nobody has approached us that I'm aware of.

00:23:12.620 If they had, we probably, I would not be, I would be living in a much nicer house.

00:23:17.540 So if you'd like me to live in a much nicer house, then you can go onto our merch website

00:23:22.840 and buy a t-shirt. We've got the limited run of Islander merchandise still available right

00:23:28.020 now. Again, that is limited. So if you want a lovely television show, t-shirt like this

00:23:34.480 one.

00:23:34.840 Television show, take money from the Russian government, otherwise buy this t-shirt.

00:23:37.840 Yeah, if you want to look like a Teletubby, buy this t-shirt.

00:23:40.760 Yeah, buy our merch. There's this one, the wonderful Islander shirt. There's some of the

00:23:48.160 other ones that are available. We've got lots of merch, so please get a hold of that while

00:23:52.140 you still can. It'll be well worth it, and all of your friends will think that you are

00:23:56.000 very cool and interesting.

00:23:58.580 I've just realized I need the box. Thank you.

00:24:01.520 Yeah, so let's get into it. So the NBC News have a quite thorough breaking down of all of

00:24:07.400 this information, so I'll read through some of this, and we'll add our comments as we

00:24:11.000 go through. So, employees of the Russia-backed media network RT funded and directed a scheme

00:24:16.680 that sent millions of dollars to prominent right-wing commentators through a media company

00:24:20.400 that appears to match the description of Tenet Media, a leading platform for pro-Trump voices,

00:24:25.660 according to a review of the charging documents, business records, and social media profiles that

00:24:31.040 are available.

00:24:31.440 It is worth saying that all of the people, the big names that are employed by Tenet, have since

00:24:35.560 come out with statements saying they didn't know anything happened, so it is worth saying

00:24:38.800 that it's Tenet.

00:24:40.560 Yeah, we will make this very clear as we go through, but you are right to point that out.

00:24:46.200 And again, it is all allegations, it's being looked into right now, so no need to make any

00:24:52.120 conclusions from this. Although I will say, having looked through the indictment documents,

00:24:57.760 whatever you want to say about the morality of accepting money from Russia, I would say the

00:25:02.280 intelligence of accepting money from Russia when you're in a basically proxy war situation

00:25:09.280 with them at the moment, and when you know that Russia is always the scapegoat for any

00:25:14.200 political situations in America that don't go the regime's way. I wouldn't say it's a very

00:25:18.720 intelligent move, but there seems to be no indication whatsoever in the indictment documents

00:25:24.440 that accepting Russian money influenced the views or opinions that were being expressed

00:25:29.860 by Lauren Chen or anybody else associated with it in any way. It seems that whether or not

00:25:37.300 you think this is a good thing, they were giving money to Lauren because she was already saying

00:25:41.480 things that they were agreeing with, potentially.

00:25:44.140 Yeah, I mean, let's put it this way. If a congressman believes in gun rights, the NRA will

00:25:50.000 donate to them. And that doesn't necessarily mean that then their pro-gun positions are influenced

00:25:54.920 by the NRA. It means they've already got pro-gun positions, and someone like the NRA is like,

00:25:58.440 we like that you're saying pro-gun positions, we're happy for you to stay there. Now, on

00:26:02.540 the morality point, I wouldn't see it as any different, morally, from taking money from

00:26:08.620 an outside source if you're just saying the things that you already believe. But it is

00:26:13.760 dumb, and I say this with Lauren as a friend, and we hope she's doing okay, it is dumb to 0.99

00:26:19.220 have accepted Russian money when they are in a de facto proxy war with Russia. 1.00

00:26:22.900 Yes. I will say the only morally bad part of this whole thing is, I can understand why

00:26:29.040 they would do it, is that it doesn't seem to have been, well, it wasn't made clear to

00:26:32.820 any of the people who were partnering or associating with Tenet, and I do think that that is immoral,

00:26:37.440 because especially when it can get them dobbed in like this, get them in a lot of trouble,

00:26:41.960 then you're playing with their careers and reputations.

00:26:44.920 So I would say you're playing with their reputations. We don't know whether or not this

00:26:48.840 was intentional to obfuscate the names. As far as I understand, and I'm sure we're going

00:26:53.000 through the details in a moment, the Russian individuals in question gave pseudonyms that

00:26:58.180 sounded less Russian, and these were probably included on the documents. So all of the people

00:27:02.880 under Tenet's employ, the contractors, didn't know, and they had no direct interface with

00:27:07.500 them, and they were just contractors. It's like Tim's show. Tim licensed his show,

00:27:11.300 Culture War, that Carl and I were on, to Tenet. He's still going to run the show now,

00:27:15.000 it's just not going to be broadcast on Tenet anymore.

00:27:16.660 Well, I've got the clip of him saying that, so we'll be able to hear it straight from the

00:27:20.080 horse's mouth, but I'll go through this. So it goes through the details. The indictment

00:27:23.720 of two RT employees, Konstantin Kalashnikov, one of the most Russian names I've ever heard in my

00:27:31.240 life. That's not a parody. Yep. And Elena Afanasyeva, I sounded like a Twin Peaks character talking

00:27:38.920 backwards then, includes allegations that the duo implemented a nearly $10 million plan to fund

00:27:44.600 an unnamed Tennessee-based company as one of their covert projects to influence American politics

00:27:50.460 by posting videos to TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube. The company's description matches that

00:27:55.720 of Tenet media, according to the NBC review that they had done. Prosecutors said that the website

00:28:00.460 of Company One describes itself as a network of heterodox commentators that focus on Western

00:28:06.580 political and cultural issues, and that is the exact wording taken off of the Tenet website. So

00:28:11.320 I think that says it all right there. That gives away the game. The indictment also states that

00:28:16.060 Company One is registered in Tennessee and has changed its name on or about May 22, 22, 2023.

00:28:23.700 Tennessee's Secretary of State Records found by NBC News so that Tenet media entered its new assumed

00:28:29.000 name on that same date. Tenet has partnered with six commentators, Lauren Southern, Tim Poole,

00:28:34.020 Taylor Hanson, Matt Christensen, Dave Rubin, and Benny Johnson. The indictment refers to six

00:28:39.100 commentators who are also not named. So again, you can see how the evidence is all piling up. It's

00:28:43.980 pretty clear that this is who they're speaking about, and there were other details included that

00:28:48.700 match those of two Tenet personalities. They're the ones spoken about quite a lot in the report,

00:28:53.920 which is Commentator One and Commentator Two. Commentator One, probably Dave Rubin. They mention in

00:28:59.440 the indictment, oh, it's got 2.4 million YouTube subscribers, and a person with 1.3 million YouTube

00:29:05.380 subscribers is referred to as Commentator Two. Poole's got 1.37 million subscribers. Rubin's

00:29:10.660 got 2.44 million subscribers at the time that this report came out. So it's all adding up. The

00:29:17.320 indictment also refers to three other commentators, including one with female pronouns, but lacked any

00:29:21.420 information that could directly identify their channels. It's unclear from the indictment the extent to

00:29:26.580 which each of the commentators realized where the money was coming from, though it stated that

00:29:30.880 Commentator One and Two were unaware they were being paid by Russian efforts and had been

00:29:35.340 deceived about the source of funding. It found that $8.7 million was eventually sent to the

00:29:41.280 production companies of Commentator One, Commentator Two, and Three alone. Payments allegedly made up

00:29:47.340 90% of the deposits made to the company's account between October 2023 and August 2024.

00:29:52.620 So, yeah, about $10 million to be able to put all of this information out, but again, it doesn't seem

00:30:00.300 that there's any indication that the money was used to influence these people's opinions at all.

00:30:06.220 It's just money to help people get opinions that they already believed in out. So, we've mentioned

00:30:11.420 this before the show came on. It seems that this was a very, very purposeful release of this information

00:30:16.720 at this very specific time when you're two months before the election is coming up to try to discredit

00:30:23.740 a lot of very... you could see how many of those people had huge subscriber counts on YouTube to try

00:30:29.580 to discredit these commentators because even though they were potentially deceived, even though they

00:30:35.640 weren't influenced to change their opinions in any way, best case scenario is the media is trying to 0.99

00:30:41.400 make them look like idiotic fall guys who fell for a scam. Two things on that. So, first of all, 0.99

00:30:46.560 I can say as having been a guest on a Tenet Media show, which was the culture war when Carl and I

00:30:51.560 were flown out to discuss liberalism with Tim, we never had any of our opinions directed at any

00:30:56.680 point whatsoever. We just spoke our minds exactly off the cuff without any script. And the other thing

00:31:01.180 that's important to notice is that Tim Poole, about two days before this came out, announced that he

00:31:06.180 would be suing the Kamala Harris campaign for defamation because she had accused him of promoting

00:31:10.260 genocide. Very coincidental timing. Very interesting. There is one little bit I wanted

00:31:16.760 to mention at the end here, which it says, Tenet Media did not immediately respond to a request

00:31:21.280 for comment from NBC News. Now, Lauren Chen herself has not made any comments. She's not posted since

00:31:26.740 this report came out, which is probably that you mentioned they might have taken her phones. Also,

00:31:32.040 just from a pure political standpoint and legal standpoint, yeah, it's good not to make comments

00:31:36.840 immediately after something like this has gone down. A representative from RT did respond,

00:31:41.760 though, with a series of text messages including, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, and we gotta earn our

00:31:47.860 Kremlin paycheck somehow. So NBC got trolled on by an RT correspondent. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

00:31:57.380 That's kind of funny, come on.

00:31:59.380 Legal reasons I can say nothing that is pro-Russia today.

00:32:02.940 Yes, this is true, and while announcing the indictment, Attorney General Merrick Garland,

00:32:08.780 that trustworthy figure who we all know in our heart of hearts, has only the best intentions

00:32:13.860 for America's sovereignty and for its citizens.

00:32:16.860 Spiteful little gnome.

00:32:17.980 Yes, said the Justice Department will not tolerate attempts

00:32:22.400 by an authoritarian regime to exploit our country's free exchange of ideas

00:32:27.900 in order to covertly further its own propaganda efforts

00:32:31.840 and our investigation into this matter remains ongoing.

00:32:34.760 So Merrick Garland has finally found it in himself

00:32:37.840 to defend the free exchange of ideas within America.

00:32:41.360 Even though Kamala Harris just the other day came out 0.88

00:32:44.080 and said she'd basically do what they're doing in Brazil

00:32:46.280 and that, yeah, Elon Musk is off the chain

00:32:48.560 and we need to severely crack down on X.

00:32:51.460 Of the free exchange of ideas.

00:32:53.600 They put parents who are protesting school board meetings

00:32:57.260 over sexually explicit materials in the library on terror watch lists.

00:33:00.320 For the protection of the free exchange of ideas in school libraries.

00:33:07.060 What about listing the rosary as a hate symbol under an FBI director?

00:33:11.900 The exchange of free ideas in the...

00:33:14.520 Listen, mate, I don't think you're getting this.

00:33:17.800 I don't think...

00:33:18.900 Right, there's a dichotomy here.

00:33:21.020 If the government does it good,

00:33:23.340 if citizens or the Russian government does it bad.

00:33:27.800 So if the American government does the exact same thing

00:33:30.620 that they accuse the Russian government of, it's good. 0.95

00:33:33.340 What about the Ukrainian government when they ban other political parties

00:33:36.160 and close down...

00:33:36.720 It's for democracy.

00:33:37.900 It's for democracy, clearly.

00:33:39.540 There is a bit of a...

00:33:41.140 You can feel, though, as well that...

00:33:42.900 I mean, it's just obvious in my opinion,

00:33:44.700 but I think that these mad dashes to clamp down as well,

00:33:49.740 they can feel the pincer movement sort of coming for them,

00:33:52.840 the scythe, just because obviously on the one hand

00:33:55.220 you've got sort of Magra and the populist right

00:33:57.340 who is now combined with RFK

00:33:59.880 and that more populist left-wing faction.

00:34:01.920 But they both kind of understand fundamentally

00:34:06.620 that America has betrayed its core principles.

00:34:09.420 And it's not just clear to America,

00:34:11.460 but obvious internationally to the entire world now

00:34:15.660 that this is not the America of old

00:34:17.480 and it's not the America that obviously

00:34:20.300 even pretends to care about these values.

00:34:23.560 They're just lip service.

00:34:24.940 It's not even the 60s America where it faked liking free speech.

00:34:28.520 It's not like the 1960s left where they're like,

00:34:31.960 we're totally about free speech, man,

00:34:33.840 as long as it's about my free speech,

00:34:35.180 about how I need an abortion right now.

00:34:36.900 Right.

00:34:37.700 But they, you know, so I just,

00:34:39.280 I do feel that there is some panic in this.

00:34:43.680 Potentially.

00:34:44.260 Well, yeah, as you mentioned as well,

00:34:46.980 people were starting to try and line up lawsuits

00:34:49.040 against Kamala Harris

00:34:50.120 and then all of a sudden this all gets released.

00:34:52.800 Obviously, this was an investigation

00:34:53.980 that they were already looking into,

00:34:55.760 but releasing the documents at this particular time

00:34:58.440 seems coordinated.

00:34:59.920 Very interesting as well.

00:35:01.240 The Biden-Harris campaign

00:35:02.540 have been paying social media influencers

00:35:04.220 to put their message out.

00:35:05.420 So that's not an issue.

00:35:06.960 Again, Connor.

00:35:08.500 Free exchange of ideas.

00:35:09.460 What did I have to say?

00:35:10.540 If the American government does it, it's fine.

00:35:13.080 If AIPAC do something, you know,

00:35:15.800 who knows where that money is coming from,

00:35:17.620 that's perfectly fine.

00:35:19.500 If Hollywood panders to Chinese investors, 0.89

00:35:23.000 that's perfectly fine.

00:35:25.040 But if you accept money from Russia

00:35:26.940 just to help with your company, no.

00:35:31.000 No way is that acceptable.

00:35:32.760 So let's look at the statements

00:35:33.740 that have been made by the various,

00:35:35.700 by the six commentators

00:35:36.700 who are involved in all of this. 0.63

00:35:38.720 My box has stopped working every damn time.

00:35:42.040 Right again. 0.84

00:35:43.420 There we go.

00:35:44.560 Thank you very much.

00:35:45.760 Tim Pool's statement says,

00:35:47.060 should these allegations prove true?

00:35:48.540 Sorry, the flag's in his name now.

00:35:53.060 Tim is a man of principle and honor.

00:35:56.160 Should these allegations...

00:35:57.060 Well, it's obviously a joke.

00:35:58.980 Yes, it's obviously a joke.

00:36:00.300 Or, being the true fence-sitter he is, 0.76

00:36:02.680 he's playing every side at the same time.

00:36:04.860 That way, he always comes out on top.

00:36:07.280 The guy in the mummy

00:36:08.000 with all the different religious symbols.

00:36:09.640 Oh, yes, yeah.

00:36:11.120 Yeah, that guy as well.

00:36:13.420 So he says,

00:36:14.500 should these allegations prove true?

00:36:16.340 Because again, these are allegations.

00:36:18.540 I, as well as the other personalities

00:36:20.020 and commentators,

00:36:21.280 were deceived and are victims.

00:36:24.160 I cannot speak for anyone else at the company

00:36:25.680 as to what they do

00:36:26.640 or to what they are instructed.

00:36:28.680 The Culture War podcast was licensed

00:36:30.320 by Tenet Media.

00:36:31.800 It existed well before any license agreement

00:36:34.460 with Tenet,

00:36:35.320 and it will continue to exist

00:36:36.860 after any such agreement expires.

00:36:39.920 The only change with the agreement

00:36:41.220 was that the location of the live broadcast

00:36:43.180 moved to Tenet's YouTube channel.

00:36:45.220 I and the Culture War 0.87

00:36:46.200 never produced any content

00:36:48.260 for Tenet Media.

00:36:50.480 Never at any point did anyone

00:36:51.680 other than I

00:36:52.520 have full editorial control of the show,

00:36:54.660 and the contents of the show

00:36:55.720 are often apolitical.

00:36:57.780 Examples include discussing spirituality,

00:36:59.940 dating,

00:37:00.720 and video games.

00:37:01.680 Good man.

00:37:02.100 The show is produced in its entirety

00:37:03.900 by a local team

00:37:04.740 without input from anyone external

00:37:06.280 to the company.

00:37:07.280 Culture War is shared,

00:37:08.200 yada, yada, yada.

00:37:09.240 And then he goes, 1.00

00:37:10.120 Putin's a scumbag, 1.00

00:37:11.020 Russia sucks donkey balls. 1.00

00:37:12.460 To the journalists who wish to jump the gun 1.00

00:37:13.760 create their own narrative, 1.00

00:37:14.980 you can eat my Irish ass. 1.00

00:37:17.440 So, 1.00

00:37:18.780 conducted with class.

00:37:21.160 Tim is a good laugh.

00:37:22.160 Yeah, Tim is a good lad.

00:37:23.700 And may I have the mouse, please?

00:37:26.280 So,

00:37:26.800 if we go to the next link as well,

00:37:28.860 you can see that he actually spoke about this

00:37:30.500 and put it out as a quick short

00:37:31.840 on his YouTube channel. 0.96

00:37:32.980 Let's hear it from the donkey,

00:37:33.960 from the horse's mouth. 0.75

00:37:35.620 I didn't say from the donkey's mouth.

00:37:37.180 Said that there's this, 0.94

00:37:38.480 RT employees were covertly funding

00:37:41.640 a U.S. company

00:37:42.720 publishing thousands of videos

00:37:44.060 in furtherance of Russian interests,

00:37:46.280 and it is presumed

00:37:48.020 that company is Tenet Media.

00:37:50.800 For those that aren't familiar,

00:37:51.640 this is a new media company,

00:37:52.660 and we licensed one of our shows,

00:37:55.660 Culture War,

00:37:56.240 to them.

00:37:57.940 And now I'm getting hit up

00:37:59.340 by like everybody in the media.

00:38:01.060 They're emailing me

00:38:02.360 and they're tweeting at me

00:38:03.220 and sending me DMs

00:38:04.040 being like,

00:38:04.540 what's going on with this?

00:38:05.920 Well, I'll make clear immediately

00:38:07.520 in the start of the show,

00:38:08.540 did you read the indictment?

00:38:10.340 It clearly says that I,

00:38:11.680 as well as the other personalities,

00:38:12.860 were victims.

00:38:14.000 We were deceived by people

00:38:15.800 intentionally to trick us

00:38:16.900 into licensing our content to them.

00:38:19.040 I will add,

00:38:19.880 I have a statement about this,

00:38:20.900 which, you know,

00:38:21.420 we'll launch the full segment,

00:38:23.140 but we never produced

00:38:24.600 anything for them.

00:38:26.040 We had an existing show

00:38:27.240 that was already in production

00:38:28.500 that they licensed distribution for,

00:38:30.680 which meant that the show

00:38:31.440 that we already produced

00:38:32.520 appeared on their network.

00:38:34.000 Now news broke,

00:38:34.880 the DOJ.

00:38:35.960 There you go.

00:38:37.060 Pretty simple.

00:38:38.440 And if you look at

00:38:39.060 the other statements

00:38:39.960 that have been made

00:38:40.560 by the other people

00:38:41.200 who've been caught up

00:38:41.860 in all of this,

00:38:42.740 it's very, very similar.

00:38:43.980 People saying,

00:38:44.960 these are allegations.

00:38:45.720 We had a contract

00:38:47.600 associated with them,

00:38:51.380 negotiated, I should say,

00:38:52.860 that meant that,

00:38:53.820 as he says,

00:38:54.580 Benny Johnson,

00:38:55.400 got an arm-length deal.

00:38:57.080 It wasn't influencing

00:38:57.980 any of my opinions.

00:38:59.360 It was just getting money

00:39:00.260 for the opinions

00:39:00.840 I already hold.

00:39:01.940 Taylor Hansen

00:39:02.700 said very much the same,

00:39:04.280 had complete freedom

00:39:05.200 to cover what I choose

00:39:06.080 at Tenet,

00:39:06.480 unlike any other media company

00:39:07.580 I've ever worked for,

00:39:08.700 certainly more so than

00:39:09.440 left-wing and mainstream media outlets

00:39:10.940 that are directed to cover

00:39:11.940 certain stories

00:39:12.840 and get punished

00:39:13.420 that if they don't,

00:39:14.840 I have not had the opportunity

00:39:15.760 to speak with Tenet founders

00:39:16.800 or anyone at the DOJ

00:39:17.980 and, like you,

00:39:18.940 are awaiting additional information.

00:39:21.300 Same thing with Dave Rubin.

00:39:23.780 He points out

00:39:24.460 that if you actually

00:39:25.020 read the document

00:39:25.940 and includes the screenshot here,

00:39:27.780 it'll show that he was

00:39:28.740 deceived in all of this.

00:39:30.220 On that as well,

00:39:31.860 when I spoke to Lauren

00:39:33.780 when we went to dinner

00:39:34.960 a few weeks ago,

00:39:36.420 there was the impression

00:39:37.840 that I got

00:39:38.620 that not even all

00:39:39.720 of the commentators themselves

00:39:40.660 agreed on everything,

00:39:41.500 especially concerning

00:39:42.960 Dave Rubin's use of surrogacy

00:39:45.260 to have a family.

00:39:46.480 I mean,

00:39:47.180 not all of his other co-hosts

00:39:49.040 on Tenet

00:39:49.520 that didn't even cross over

00:39:50.440 on each other's shows

00:39:51.320 liked that lifestyle choice.

00:39:53.020 So it doesn't mean that

00:39:53.540 everyone was on the same page either.

00:39:54.860 So clearly they weren't

00:39:55.720 being given a script

00:39:56.520 if there was internal discord

00:39:58.040 between the shows.

00:39:59.700 Of course,

00:39:59.940 as you would hope and expect

00:40:01.400 given that the outlet

00:40:02.300 is supposed to be supporting

00:40:03.560 a wide variety of views.

00:40:05.540 We do the same here.

00:40:06.340 Yeah.

00:40:06.700 We don't all agree

00:40:07.480 with each other here

00:40:08.540 and we don't need

00:40:09.560 foreign money

00:40:10.740 to be paying us

00:40:11.560 to vehemently disagree

00:40:12.700 with one another,

00:40:13.820 fight constantly,

00:40:15.300 throw slurs at one another. 0.99

00:40:16.760 It's ridiculous. 0.97

00:40:19.240 Honestly, 0.95

00:40:20.020 this,

00:40:20.380 terrible,

00:40:21.480 terrible.

00:40:22.000 Not me. 0.92

00:40:22.660 Northern monkey.

00:40:24.480 We don't use the M word.

00:40:26.400 The M word, 0.99

00:40:27.360 not in this office.

00:40:28.140 Thank you very much.

00:40:29.420 Matt Christensen

00:40:29.980 says the exact same thing.

00:40:32.000 So again,

00:40:32.880 whatever the case is,

00:40:34.160 the point is,

00:40:34.960 even if they weren't

00:40:36.480 influenced to change

00:40:37.560 their opinions,

00:40:38.540 this information is being

00:40:39.480 released as a way

00:40:40.480 to try and discredit

00:40:41.260 these people

00:40:41.920 by making them seem like

00:40:43.500 lackeys who didn't even

00:40:45.260 realize what was going on.

00:40:46.880 Now,

00:40:47.240 I say that you don't need 1.00

00:40:48.240 to be an idiot 1.00

00:40:48.840 to be deceived by people, 1.00

00:40:50.360 especially when they say,

00:40:51.380 hey,

00:40:51.500 we'll pay you

00:40:52.100 however many hundreds

00:40:52.960 of thousands

00:40:53.420 or millions of dollars

00:40:54.500 for something.

00:40:55.380 If you're already doing

00:40:56.360 the thing that they're

00:40:57.220 paying you money for,

00:40:59.100 I'd take the money.

00:41:01.180 I mean,

00:41:01.420 I don't know who wouldn't.

00:41:02.680 If you,

00:41:03.360 if you at home

00:41:04.340 watching right now

00:41:05.380 were on Twitter

00:41:06.500 and somebody said,

00:41:07.880 I don't want you

00:41:08.640 to change anything

00:41:09.800 about what you're

00:41:10.400 already doing,

00:41:11.280 but here's $10 million

00:41:12.220 to keep doing it.

00:41:14.300 It might not be wise

00:41:15.340 to accept it from the Russians.

00:41:16.600 No,

00:41:16.780 of course.

00:41:17.480 But,

00:41:18.080 I'm not shocked

00:41:18.960 that anyone would

00:41:19.620 take that money

00:41:20.060 if there were no

00:41:20.840 strings attached

00:41:21.480 to the actual

00:41:22.700 content

00:41:23.800 of the commentary.

00:41:25.520 Exactly.

00:41:26.320 And again,

00:41:27.000 it's the taking it

00:41:28.040 from the Russians part, 1.00

00:41:29.060 which is the really stupid, 1.00

00:41:30.380 and then the immoral part 1.00

00:41:31.600 is at least

00:41:32.700 not making these people aware

00:41:34.420 that at the very least

00:41:35.600 there is some

00:41:36.600 difficulty

00:41:38.820 attached to this money.

00:41:40.180 But if it's the Qataris, 0.97

00:41:41.260 all A-OK.

00:41:42.100 Or the Chinese, 0.99

00:41:43.000 or the Chinese,

00:41:44.080 or anybody else

00:41:44.820 for that matter.

00:41:45.840 So what has been

00:41:46.500 the mainstream reaction?

00:41:47.560 Obviously,

00:41:47.880 we saw the article

00:41:48.560 to begin with.

00:41:49.580 Well,

00:41:50.140 YouTube has just deleted

00:41:51.800 all of the channels

00:41:53.000 of Lauren Chen

00:41:53.880 and of Tenet Media.

00:41:55.780 Despite the fact

00:41:56.340 that this is still

00:41:57.000 allegations,

00:41:57.900 still all being

00:41:58.600 looked into,

00:41:59.340 despite the fact

00:41:59.760 they weren't even

00:42:00.400 actually named

00:42:01.560 in the indictment,

00:42:03.240 YouTube has taken

00:42:04.120 the forward step

00:42:05.440 of get rid of all of them.

00:42:07.720 You can still get

00:42:08.220 mine and Carl's

00:42:08.760 Culture War and Rumble. 0.98

00:42:10.060 Yeah.

00:42:10.700 So,

00:42:11.740 there you go,

00:42:12.480 and the YouTube

00:42:13.040 reporting on this,

00:42:13.960 I took a look

00:42:14.600 to see what most

00:42:15.440 of the reporting is,

00:42:16.580 and most of it is

00:42:17.580 a lot of left-wing

00:42:19.600 media outlets going,

00:42:20.860 can you believe it?

00:42:22.600 Confirmed that

00:42:23.160 they're Russian spies!

00:42:25.840 To a surprise of no one,

00:42:27.120 that's a slant.

00:42:28.140 Yeah.

00:42:28.560 Can you believe that?

00:42:29.600 Can you believe that?

00:42:30.120 Obviously,

00:42:30.460 that it's also mixed in

00:42:31.280 with Tim Pool

00:42:31.880 and other people

00:42:32.640 himself,

00:42:33.540 but the left-wing

00:42:34.880 or mainstream coverage

00:42:36.620 of this is more

00:42:37.780 like the Young Turks 0.98

00:42:39.400 where they're saying,

00:42:39.960 see,

00:42:40.180 they were Russian

00:42:40.980 propagandists this

00:42:42.140 whole time,

00:42:43.400 despite the fact

00:42:43.980 that most of them

00:42:44.720 were also very critical

00:42:46.480 of Donald Trump's

00:42:47.320 most recent campaign,

00:42:48.480 which I thought

00:42:49.700 the Russians were 0.91

00:42:50.460 in favour of Trump.

00:42:52.580 No, no,

00:42:53.360 Kamala endorsed Harris

00:42:55.100 the other day.

00:42:55.900 Putin endorsed Biden.

00:42:57.160 Sorry,

00:42:57.400 Putin back in 2020.

00:42:58.660 Also,

00:42:59.340 just a thing,

00:43:00.360 the Young Turks,

00:43:00.860 what are they named

00:43:01.260 after again?

00:43:02.520 I don't know

00:43:03.100 what you're on about.

00:43:03.840 The Armenian Genocide.

00:43:04.800 Oh, that's interesting.

00:43:05.460 Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:43:05.880 Fantastic.

00:43:06.380 Not under the influence

00:43:07.240 of any foreign powers

00:43:07.920 whatsoever.

00:43:08.520 You sent me something

00:43:09.440 very funny as well,

00:43:11.640 Connor.

00:43:12.080 Tim Pool's become

00:43:12.660 the new Sam Hyde.

00:43:13.420 Something very funny.

00:43:14.420 Yeah, which is

00:43:15.160 the Guardian.

00:43:17.060 I don't think

00:43:18.300 they know what

00:43:19.180 Tim Pool looks like.

00:43:22.100 Now, this has changed.

00:43:23.660 Right, okay.

00:43:24.320 This has changed,

00:43:25.680 so I looked at the

00:43:26.560 Guardian webpage

00:43:27.400 for this

00:43:28.480 and they have taken

00:43:29.440 that out

00:43:29.880 but just to confirm

00:43:31.020 there's a desktop

00:43:33.020 so you know

00:43:34.520 this isn't just

00:43:35.200 some Photoshop.

00:43:36.460 They've just,

00:43:36.900 they've not actually

00:43:37.560 put the actual picture

00:43:39.020 of Tim Pool in it.

00:43:40.340 They've just removed

00:43:41.100 the picture of

00:43:41.900 whoever this guy is.

00:43:44.560 Do you remember

00:43:45.000 when the BBC

00:43:45.600 ran an article on,

00:43:46.660 I think it was

00:43:46.920 a Texas shooter

00:43:47.720 and Bellingcat

00:43:50.040 had found some

00:43:50.860 obscure Russian 1.00

00:43:52.060 social media site

00:43:53.040 that had taken

00:43:53.720 a couple of clips

00:43:54.560 from a debate

00:43:55.320 that Tim had had

00:43:56.500 with Elijah Schaefer

00:43:57.620 about the Ukraine war

00:43:58.720 and so the BBC

00:43:59.780 article on the

00:44:00.580 Texas shooter

00:44:01.020 just used Tim's face.

00:44:03.540 You can't keep

00:44:04.400 getting away with this.

00:44:05.280 For God's sake.

00:44:06.460 What's going on with Tim?

00:44:07.460 Like literally,

00:44:08.060 I know Tim's,

00:44:08.920 isn't Tim a bit

00:44:09.640 mixed Asian?

00:44:10.800 He's a quarter

00:44:12.440 or half Korean,

00:44:13.020 I think.

00:44:13.320 Quarter or half Korean,

00:44:14.360 yeah.

00:44:15.640 He doesn't look

00:44:16.420 that Asian. 0.96

00:44:17.720 They just found

00:44:18.620 an Asian guy

00:44:20.160 in a beanie.

00:44:22.200 It's not even

00:44:22.520 the right beanie.

00:44:23.100 Tim doesn't even

00:44:23.600 wear glasses.

00:44:25.020 Yeah, he doesn't,

00:44:25.660 you're right.

00:44:26.800 So that's the kind

00:44:28.380 of reporting

00:44:28.940 that you can expect

00:44:30.080 from The Guardian

00:44:30.840 and other mainstream

00:44:31.680 outlets.

00:44:32.620 This poor guy,

00:44:34.120 whoever he is.

00:44:35.620 Bear in mind,

00:44:35.960 The Guardian gets

00:44:36.460 tons of money

00:44:36.960 for the Bill and

00:44:37.400 the Gates Foundation,

00:44:38.420 so that's fine.

00:44:39.400 Taking all that money

00:44:40.280 is fine.

00:44:41.100 That money's fine.

00:44:42.140 The Guardian's

00:44:42.680 a British newspaper,

00:44:44.120 so does that count

00:44:44.720 as foreign money?

00:44:46.820 Not sure.

00:44:47.560 I mean,

00:44:47.700 they do get a lot

00:44:48.220 of money from

00:44:48.540 the British taxpayer

00:44:49.180 because the BBC

00:44:49.780 basically propped them

00:44:50.640 up by buying

00:44:51.220 physical copies

00:44:52.040 of their newspaper

00:44:52.560 every year.

00:44:52.840 Oh yeah.

00:44:53.480 This is true,

00:44:54.820 but still,

00:44:55.540 let's not look

00:44:56.100 into the morality

00:44:56.760 of that or any

00:44:57.820 of the other

00:44:58.320 foreign countries.

00:44:59.560 Russia bad, 0.92

00:45:00.100 got it.

00:45:00.620 Yeah,

00:45:00.860 Russia bad, 0.92

00:45:01.960 and that's about

00:45:02.540 everything.

00:45:03.180 If you want to

00:45:03.680 look at the indictment,

00:45:04.700 it's in the links

00:45:05.380 below on the podcast,

00:45:06.820 so you can check it out.

00:45:07.820 It's 32 pages long.

00:45:09.220 It lays everything out,

00:45:11.040 but again,

00:45:11.880 in this,

00:45:12.260 you're not going to find

00:45:13.140 any sort of allegations

00:45:14.340 that they were

00:45:15.300 actively influencing

00:45:16.860 the opinions

00:45:17.660 being presented

00:45:18.460 by the people

00:45:19.260 who were associated

00:45:20.080 with Tenet Media.

00:45:21.820 So,

00:45:22.220 there you go.

00:45:22.840 We'll see how

00:45:23.320 all of this goes.

00:45:24.520 Right,

00:45:24.780 so we've got a couple

00:45:25.260 of rumble rants.

00:45:25.940 We've got quite a few

00:45:26.340 actually,

00:45:26.660 that's quite nice.

00:45:27.940 Scott CY Guy

00:45:29.380 for $5 says,

00:45:30.360 although I'm originally

00:45:30.940 from Scotland,

00:45:31.640 I now live in Cyprus

00:45:32.440 contributing some

00:45:33.180 foreign money.

00:45:34.180 Limassol is a very

00:45:35.000 Russian conspiracy

00:45:35.720 theory confirmed.

00:45:36.680 I don't know

00:45:36.900 what Limassol is.

00:45:37.680 It's the capital

00:45:38.260 of Cyprus.

00:45:38.980 Ah,

00:45:39.240 wonderful.

00:45:39.660 There you go.

00:45:40.100 Learn something new

00:45:40.580 every day.

00:45:40.960 Thank you, sir.

00:45:41.280 There you go.

00:45:42.300 Buka,

00:45:42.760 $5.

00:45:43.340 How did Tenet Media

00:45:44.160 being sponsored,

00:45:45.580 how did Tenet Media

00:45:46.720 being sponsored

00:45:47.220 by Russian money

00:45:47.860 if Russian

00:45:49.320 and her oligarchs 1.00

00:45:51.400 are successfully

00:45:51.900 sanctioned?

00:45:52.560 And this donation

00:45:53.080 is from Serbia,

00:45:54.100 so you guys are 0.86

00:45:54.800 certified war criminals 0.92

00:45:55.680 now.

00:45:56.120 I'll thank you very much.

00:45:57.180 I knew.

00:45:58.740 My mum said

00:45:59.320 getting involved

00:45:59.880 in this job

00:46:00.480 would lead me

00:46:00.920 down dark path.

00:46:02.540 Hey,

00:46:02.800 it can't be for an influence

00:46:03.580 if it's not even

00:46:04.020 a real country.

00:46:04.860 Anyway,

00:46:05.400 Mason Royce,

00:46:06.200 $5.

00:46:07.840 Do you still believe

00:46:08.900 in the glorious

00:46:09.420 state of Yugoslavia?

00:46:11.360 I want those

00:46:12.000 big Belgian donors.

00:46:13.880 I think Tenet

00:46:14.460 appeared on my

00:46:14.960 subscriptions.

00:46:15.520 It must have been

00:46:16.060 a rebranded dead channel,

00:46:17.420 explains the 300k subs.

00:46:19.060 My theory,

00:46:19.540 they paid existing

00:46:20.200 content creators

00:46:20.760 to boost the channel

00:46:21.460 before leading on it.

00:46:22.520 That's an allegation

00:46:23.460 that could either

00:46:25.120 be supported

00:46:25.680 or whatever.

00:46:26.580 I don't see much

00:46:27.960 evidence for that.

00:46:28.600 It was sad

00:46:29.460 that it was deleted

00:46:30.140 because,

00:46:30.800 I mean,

00:46:31.380 despite any allegations

00:46:32.440 of interference,

00:46:33.020 they did have some

00:46:33.340 good content on there.

00:46:34.600 If you do say yourself.

00:46:35.900 Yeah,

00:46:36.100 we had a really good episode.

00:46:36.740 We were the most

00:46:37.260 popular episode.

00:46:38.280 Hey,

00:46:38.780 there you go.

00:46:39.760 And it was also

00:46:40.140 very fun to see

00:46:41.020 Lauren Chen chew out 0.95

00:46:41.780 Pearl Davis.

00:46:43.040 So that was good fun.

00:46:44.320 Bald Eagle,

00:46:44.980 1787.

00:46:45.980 Funny how all this

00:46:47.160 suddenly comes to light

00:46:48.180 after Tim Pool

00:46:48.800 and other commentators

00:46:49.660 were going to sue

00:46:50.260 the Harris campaign

00:46:51.000 for slander,

00:46:51.660 libel defamation,

00:46:52.440 and endangering their lives.

00:46:53.520 Also after Tim did a

00:46:54.560 lengthy segment on Ukraine.

00:46:55.600 So they're going to try

00:46:57.680 and co-op that

00:46:58.340 when it's just

00:46:58.860 patently true 0.53

00:47:00.160 that Ukraine's corrupt.

00:47:01.060 Well,

00:47:01.500 yeah,

00:47:01.820 a lot of the reporting

00:47:03.600 that I saw

00:47:04.000 was pointing to

00:47:04.700 Tim Pool

00:47:05.160 saying a lot of

00:47:05.840 negative things

00:47:06.460 about Ukraine,

00:47:07.260 but you don't have

00:47:08.240 to be accepting

00:47:08.980 foreign money

00:47:10.300 to look at Ukraine

00:47:11.620 and say,

00:47:12.160 we do it for free.

00:47:13.940 Yeah,

00:47:14.320 basically,

00:47:15.400 yeah.

00:47:15.720 The shadow ban

00:47:16.260 for $2.

00:47:16.880 This shows the DOJ

00:47:17.780 can get channels

00:47:18.380 that they don't like

00:47:19.360 deleted over allegations.

00:47:20.580 Quite.

00:47:20.980 That is a dangerous

00:47:21.580 precedent this sets.

00:47:22.800 Threadnall.

00:47:23.200 Everyone's very generous

00:47:23.820 today.

00:47:24.120 Thank you very much.

00:47:25.160 $2.

00:47:25.700 I remember Tim

00:47:26.340 bringing up being

00:47:27.260 half Korean,

00:47:27.840 half Puerto Rican

00:47:28.660 almost endlessly.

00:47:29.520 I don't remember him

00:47:30.080 saying he was

00:47:30.400 half Puerto Rican.

00:47:31.780 I listen to his show

00:47:32.360 quite frequently.

00:47:33.000 I know he's mentioned this. 1.00

00:47:33.560 He said he had an Irish ass, 1.00

00:47:35.340 so unless his ass 1.00

00:47:36.240 is the only Irish bit of him, 1.00

00:47:37.900 I would assume

00:47:38.340 it's more half and half.

00:47:39.340 Well,

00:47:39.440 he said he took a DNA test.

00:47:40.040 Unless it's like

00:47:40.540 one half cheek

00:47:41.280 and the other one's Korean.

00:47:43.700 He said he took

00:47:44.420 a DNA test

00:47:45.300 and found he's part Japanese,

00:47:47.700 but then he realized

00:47:49.120 the reason why.

00:47:50.820 Oh,

00:47:51.080 yeah.

00:47:52.540 Oh,

00:47:52.920 okay,

00:47:53.360 yeah.

00:47:53.720 And $5.

00:47:56.020 Bobo Bad.

00:47:57.180 Both Chen and Fuentes

00:47:58.420 often featured

00:47:58.980 are both critical of Trump,

00:48:00.220 so it's baffling to say

00:48:01.060 that Trump propaganda

00:48:01.820 of Fuentes praising

00:48:02.720 Kamala Harris'

00:48:03.460 mommy energy

00:48:04.300 truly a catboy lover moment.

00:48:06.220 Well,

00:48:06.360 yes, 0.69

00:48:06.680 average homosexual opinion.

00:48:07.980 Yeah.

00:48:09.860 I don't see

00:48:10.980 how Fuentes

00:48:11.860 has any sort of

00:48:13.360 context

00:48:14.060 that can make that okay

00:48:15.300 when he's on camera

00:48:16.240 going,

00:48:17.040 OMG, 0.70

00:48:17.620 she's so brat 0.94

00:48:18.620 with his incredibly 0.98

00:48:19.640 effeminate

00:48:20.400 mannerisms.

00:48:21.540 Look,

00:48:22.400 I'm not a Nick fan.

00:48:23.940 I don't necessarily want

00:48:24.800 to start a flame war

00:48:25.960 on Twitter,

00:48:26.580 but I did find

00:48:27.500 Milo's tweet

00:48:28.220 very funny

00:48:28.840 where he said

00:48:29.780 that Nick Fuentes

00:48:31.020 is not a 0.75

00:48:31.960 glamorous homosexual, 0.98

00:48:33.880 a jubilant homosexual. 0.99

00:48:34.920 He's the kind of 1.00

00:48:35.720 closet homosexual 0.99

00:48:36.860 who you'll find 0.99

00:48:37.680 in five years

00:48:38.460 going to prison

00:48:39.340 having shot 1.00

00:48:39.980 a tranny hooker 1.00

00:48:40.620 in a motel seat. 1.00

00:48:41.280 Five years.

00:48:46.160 Okay.

00:48:47.660 Keep a countdown

00:48:48.660 on that one.

00:48:49.800 Anyway,

00:48:50.080 Luca,

00:48:50.280 do you fancy

00:48:50.680 digging us out

00:48:51.320 of this hole?

00:48:52.420 No.

00:48:53.880 He's going to let

00:48:54.660 us simmer down here

00:48:55.740 for a bit.

00:48:56.200 Okay,

00:48:56.660 I'll do my duty.

00:48:58.160 So,

00:48:58.540 yeah,

00:48:59.560 I wanted to take

00:49:00.400 the opportunity

00:49:01.060 to talk about

00:49:02.900 the proms

00:49:03.820 because actually

00:49:04.660 as of

00:49:05.740 a week tomorrow

00:49:07.180 it's the last

00:49:08.080 night at the proms

00:49:09.060 which is one

00:49:09.960 of those great

00:49:10.840 British traditions.

00:49:13.060 The proms

00:49:13.480 has been going

00:49:14.020 since 1895

00:49:15.520 and it was

00:49:16.540 founded by one

00:49:17.880 of the great

00:49:18.560 English composers

00:49:19.580 Sir Henry Wood

00:49:21.200 and it was just

00:49:22.620 such a fantastic

00:49:23.420 way of bringing

00:49:24.560 together

00:49:25.240 every single

00:49:27.220 night

00:49:27.540 a different piece

00:49:28.800 from one of

00:49:29.600 the great

00:49:30.000 European composers

00:49:31.200 from whether

00:49:33.080 it's Mendelssohn

00:49:34.000 or Brahms

00:49:34.660 or Bach

00:49:35.240 or Beethoven

00:49:36.000 or some of

00:49:36.720 our great

00:49:37.240 English composers

00:49:38.120 such as Elgar

00:49:39.020 and Rayphorn

00:49:40.660 Williams

00:49:41.080 and so

00:49:42.060 I'm going to

00:49:43.140 talk a little

00:49:43.700 bit about that

00:49:44.460 and how

00:49:44.920 to the surprise

00:49:46.140 of absolutely

00:49:46.940 no one

00:49:47.460 the BBC

00:49:48.360 just couldn't

00:49:49.300 let well

00:49:49.960 enough alone

00:49:50.660 but before I

00:49:52.060 Did they

00:49:52.420 Russell T. Davis

00:49:53.420 it?

00:49:55.080 Yeah,

00:49:56.680 yeah,

00:49:56.960 they did.

00:49:57.260 They literally

00:49:58.720 had a Doctor

00:49:59.340 Who night

00:49:59.800 at the proms

00:50:00.540 so yeah,

00:50:01.220 they did.

00:50:01.740 He was literally

00:50:02.620 involved in one

00:50:04.280 of them

00:50:04.620 so you just

00:50:05.540 but no,

00:50:06.340 literally.

00:50:07.280 I mean it

00:50:07.900 suggests

00:50:08.300 but at the

00:50:08.740 same time

00:50:09.280 obviously

00:50:09.980 that's what

00:50:10.500 the BBC

00:50:10.940 is going to

00:50:11.380 be doing.

00:50:11.880 Right,

00:50:12.280 right.

00:50:13.180 Make it fake, 0.98

00:50:13.880 make it gay, 1.00

00:50:14.620 put a woman 1.00

00:50:15.000 in it.

00:50:17.340 But before

00:50:18.000 we go to

00:50:18.500 that,

00:50:18.920 I'm informed

00:50:19.820 that you

00:50:20.280 should really

00:50:20.780 buy a shirt

00:50:21.500 not because

00:50:22.220 you don't

00:50:22.600 have one

00:50:23.020 but because

00:50:23.520 the Islander

00:50:24.180 shirts

00:50:24.480 are just

00:50:25.060 so good.

00:50:26.140 Although if

00:50:26.480 you don't

00:50:26.860 have any

00:50:27.260 shirts

00:50:27.620 you should

00:50:28.060 probably

00:50:28.360 buy some.

00:50:29.300 And if you

00:50:29.640 guys watching

00:50:30.200 from the

00:50:30.580 Amazon rainforest

00:50:31.560 hello tribe,

00:50:32.580 here are

00:50:32.900 shirts.

00:50:35.320 Buy a shirt

00:50:36.140 because it's

00:50:37.460 the last

00:50:37.920 final day

00:50:38.820 and the last

00:50:39.380 final for the

00:50:40.540 Islander merchandise

00:50:42.120 from the first

00:50:42.940 issue of

00:50:43.420 Islander which

00:50:44.220 went really,

00:50:44.740 really successfully

00:50:45.540 and had loads

00:50:46.480 of great

00:50:46.900 contributors to

00:50:47.840 it.

00:50:48.420 And yeah,

00:50:48.780 Rory designed

00:50:49.420 a lot of

00:50:49.900 the images

00:50:51.460 didn't he

00:50:52.040 for the

00:50:52.600 merch and

00:50:53.580 it's really

00:50:53.880 good.

00:50:54.160 And as

00:50:54.420 these guys

00:50:55.040 have commented

00:50:55.540 many times

00:50:56.200 before,

00:50:56.660 this is how

00:50:57.320 they make

00:50:57.780 their money.

00:50:58.280 This is how

00:50:58.860 Harry is going

00:51:00.460 to eventually

00:51:01.300 live when the

00:51:02.240 Russians don't 1.00

00:51:02.940 come to give

00:51:03.900 him the money.

00:51:04.540 So he needs

00:51:05.240 the shirt

00:51:06.620 money.

00:51:07.600 So look,

00:51:08.340 please buy a

00:51:08.960 shirt and if

00:51:09.440 not just move

00:51:10.260 on with

00:51:10.820 tremendous guilt.

00:51:12.280 But now

00:51:12.560 we'll get you

00:51:15.280 to do all

00:51:15.660 our ad

00:51:15.920 ratings.

00:51:16.940 I thought I

00:51:17.900 shamed people

00:51:18.700 into buying

00:51:19.320 stuff from us.

00:51:20.920 You can tell

00:51:21.580 I've never done

00:51:22.220 this before.

00:51:23.560 Seamless.

00:51:24.880 Or shame

00:51:25.520 them in every

00:51:27.240 way possible.

00:51:28.140 Right.

00:51:28.480 You really want

00:51:28.900 to hide that

00:51:29.320 torso.

00:51:29.780 Buy our shirts.

00:51:31.660 They come in

00:51:32.280 three extra

00:51:33.640 large for all

00:51:34.940 you fatties 0.85

00:51:35.700 out there.

00:51:36.220 They actually

00:51:36.360 do.

00:51:37.180 Wow.

00:51:41.280 If you ever

00:51:41.940 find yourself

00:51:42.340 falling out of a

00:51:42.940 plane, buy one

00:51:43.500 of our shirts.

00:51:44.340 So if you

00:51:45.260 guys don't mind

00:51:46.040 digging me out

00:51:46.800 of this one.

00:51:47.260 Okay.

00:51:47.700 Anyway.

00:51:48.220 We'll keep the 0.99

00:51:49.360 focus on you,

00:51:50.020 Harry.

00:51:50.320 Because if you're

00:51:50.780 going to the next

00:51:51.440 one, Sam.

00:51:52.040 Must we?

00:51:52.840 Yes.

00:51:53.620 The next.

00:51:54.780 Oh, yeah.

00:51:55.680 Oh, it's

00:51:57.520 dead button.

00:51:58.500 Dead internet.

00:51:59.020 There we go.

00:52:00.780 No.

00:52:01.440 The one.

00:52:02.260 It's fine.

00:52:02.600 I'll do it with the

00:52:03.040 mouse.

00:52:03.820 Oh, thank you.

00:52:04.300 It's okay.

00:52:04.940 There's nothing.

00:52:06.360 The mouse is dead

00:52:07.360 as well.

00:52:07.800 Oh, there we go.

00:52:09.500 So this

00:52:10.500 absolute pearl.

00:52:11.600 I know you posted

00:52:12.360 this a while, but

00:52:13.160 it stuck with me.

00:52:14.100 Decolonize your 0.91

00:52:15.500 mind.

00:52:16.620 And obviously, it's

00:52:17.720 good to have you

00:52:18.320 here to elaborate on

00:52:20.120 all of this.

00:52:21.040 But I think in

00:52:21.800 particular, the one

00:52:22.860 where you say, resist

00:52:24.040 against hip hop and

00:52:25.120 jazz and embrace

00:52:26.740 classical and metal.

00:52:28.380 And obviously, it's

00:52:29.560 the classical that I

00:52:31.300 really...

00:52:31.440 Some people took

00:52:32.300 against the metal

00:52:35.240 part of it, but I do

00:52:36.440 genuinely believe that

00:52:37.640 metal speaks to the

00:52:39.160 spirit of ancient

00:52:40.520 European man.

00:52:41.560 Right.

00:52:42.500 And I think that

00:52:43.460 classical music speaks

00:52:44.800 to the Renaissance

00:52:45.900 European man.

00:52:47.420 And you've got all

00:52:48.300 sorts of wonderful

00:52:49.740 periods of Western

00:52:52.160 music from the

00:52:52.960 Baroque era to the

00:52:53.940 classical to the

00:52:54.780 romantic and even

00:52:55.940 into the 20th

00:52:56.840 century, believe it

00:52:57.800 or not.

00:52:58.080 And again, to connect

00:52:58.800 the two, I don't

00:52:59.760 want to be that

00:53:00.300 fringe guy because

00:53:01.360 there are some who

00:53:02.080 say, if you think

00:53:03.060 about it, metal's just

00:53:04.100 like the new

00:53:04.720 classical, bro.

00:53:06.100 No, it's not.

00:53:07.340 But there is a lot of

00:53:08.680 heavy metal music which

00:53:10.000 is explicitly influenced

00:53:11.760 and cribs from

00:53:12.880 classical music,

00:53:14.880 including bands

00:53:15.660 like Children of

00:53:17.120 Bodom, whose early

00:53:17.920 material has a lot of

00:53:18.900 neoclassical where they

00:53:19.840 literally play Mozart

00:53:21.060 with, you know, a

00:53:22.620 four-band, four-piece

00:53:23.700 lineup with it.

00:53:25.100 But it really

00:53:26.000 translates quite well.

00:53:27.320 It's really good.

00:53:28.540 So if you could...

00:53:30.080 Oh, yeah, you've got

00:53:30.740 it.

00:53:30.860 It's okay.

00:53:31.400 I can...

00:53:31.880 Unlimited power if

00:53:32.800 the mouse wants to

00:53:33.500 work.

00:53:33.820 For some reason, the

00:53:34.300 mouse isn't working,

00:53:36.080 Samson.

00:53:37.060 I got nothing here.

00:53:38.580 No, it's dead.

00:53:39.480 Swifties have no 1.00

00:53:40.660 power.

00:53:41.540 Hey, look, we don't

00:53:42.740 need to insult my

00:53:44.080 music taste.

00:53:44.760 Dead in the water.

00:53:45.340 There we go.

00:53:45.720 There we go.

00:53:46.160 So this is a piece

00:53:48.380 that I actually wrote

00:53:49.420 last year.

00:53:50.340 I've been hovering

00:53:51.000 over this proms issue

00:53:52.180 for a while now.

00:53:53.460 Let me just speak

00:53:55.640 another moment about

00:53:56.860 that tweet.

00:53:57.700 What I was saying

00:53:59.600 there is not that

00:54:01.180 you can't like those

00:54:03.640 styles of music that

00:54:04.600 I was talking about.

00:54:05.280 I actually have

00:54:06.400 enjoyed a lot of

00:54:08.420 hip-hop and jazz

00:54:09.640 music.

00:54:10.160 You like jazz?

00:54:10.920 I do.

00:54:11.840 I do quite like it.

00:54:13.260 The problem is that

00:54:15.560 it is a foreign 1.00

00:54:17.100 export that came to

00:54:19.180 this country from

00:54:20.400 America and that if 0.56

00:54:22.300 we want to really

00:54:23.560 reconnect with our

00:54:25.480 heritage and our

00:54:26.520 roots and disconnect

00:54:28.240 ourselves from the

00:54:29.360 globalist world order

00:54:30.840 that we exist in, we

00:54:31.940 have to recognize

00:54:32.780 something for when it

00:54:33.840 is foreign and for 0.96

00:54:34.960 when sadly hip-hop

00:54:37.420 and jazz have

00:54:38.640 negative influences

00:54:39.760 as pieces of

00:54:41.180 culture.

00:54:42.120 Jazz is explicitly

00:54:42.960 meant to be a

00:54:44.000 deconstruction of

00:54:45.200 typical styles of

00:54:46.320 harmony which is one

00:54:47.760 of the reasons so

00:54:48.440 many people find it

00:54:49.320 difficult to listen to

00:54:50.400 because of the fact

00:54:51.240 that it is kind of

00:54:51.880 anti-harmony, anti-

00:54:53.300 melody in many ways

00:54:54.780 and hip-hop, I

00:54:56.600 wouldn't go quite as

00:54:57.280 far as Ben Shapiro

00:54:58.660 who says it isn't

00:54:59.880 music at all but it's

00:55:01.180 pure focus on

00:55:02.500 rhythmic elements and

00:55:04.460 it's combination with

00:55:05.520 jazz in the first

00:55:06.420 place do mean that

00:55:08.900 it appeals far more

00:55:10.400 to basically a

00:55:13.000 black American

00:55:13.880 style of music than

00:55:17.360 it would to myself

00:55:18.860 or anybody else and

00:55:19.960 I really hate seeing

00:55:21.160 younger people,

00:55:22.720 English people,

00:55:23.460 European peoples who

00:55:25.000 become really obsessed

00:55:26.260 with hip-hop who

00:55:27.780 then start to try and

00:55:29.040 act like ghetto 0.99

00:55:30.200 blacks in America. 0.99

00:55:31.440 I agree, yes. 0.91

00:55:32.620 And start adopting

00:55:33.660 that language,

00:55:34.740 adopting the slang,

00:55:36.360 adopting the mannerisms

00:55:37.520 because one, it looks

00:55:39.420 terrible on you, you 0.98

00:55:40.580 look like a weirdo and 1.00

00:55:41.900 an idiot and people 1.00

00:55:43.100 laugh at you for doing 1.00

00:55:44.260 that and two, you are

00:55:46.620 further disconnecting

00:55:48.140 yourself and becoming

00:55:49.440 from your local

00:55:50.760 traditions, your local

00:55:52.340 culture and becoming

00:55:53.420 more of a global

00:55:54.320 citizen which I hate to 1.00

00:55:55.600 see.

00:55:55.840 Same in every

00:55:56.480 commercial gym, the

00:55:57.480 sort of gutter pop that

00:55:58.560 has now fallen back to

00:55:59.880 being Jafacon grime, 0.96

00:56:03.640 American rap and

00:56:05.560 Jamaican, there's 1.00

00:56:07.360 actual Jamaican dance

00:56:08.620 hall music which is

00:56:09.780 constant, like you'd

00:56:10.940 hear it at Notting Hill

00:56:11.660 Carnival and I'm trying

00:56:12.720 to get a few reps of

00:56:13.540 bench out and I'm just

00:56:14.460 hearing about grinding

00:56:15.600 and my earphones are not

00:56:17.500 loud enough.

00:56:18.120 I just drown it out

00:56:20.380 with ridiculously heavy

00:56:21.820 metal.

00:56:22.780 Which honestly really

00:56:24.400 helps to get those

00:56:25.480 extra reps out.

00:56:26.380 It really does, honestly.

00:56:28.940 So what I was talking

00:56:31.380 about though was

00:56:31.860 actually funnily enough.

00:56:32.720 So I moved, I don't

00:56:34.340 live there anymore,

00:56:35.180 thank God, but I

00:56:36.140 moved to London about

00:56:37.000 four years ago and

00:56:37.960 lived there, tolerated

00:56:39.880 it for about four years

00:56:41.020 and whilst I was

00:56:42.020 there, one of the

00:56:43.380 things that I thought

00:56:44.240 well I'm here, I

00:56:46.100 should go to the

00:56:46.800 proms, right?

00:56:47.520 I should go to the

00:56:48.420 Royal Albert Hall,

00:56:49.820 which is a gorgeous,

00:56:51.240 eloquent building from

00:56:52.280 the Victorian era.

00:56:53.520 I've been there.

00:56:54.600 I saw Stephen Wilson

00:56:56.420 play there in 2015,

00:56:57.860 a wonderful gig,

00:56:59.420 amazing venue.

00:57:00.620 And the acoustics are

00:57:01.520 phenomenal as well.

00:57:02.460 It's just so perfectly

00:57:03.380 tailored to, yeah.

00:57:05.180 But the, but I'd

00:57:06.880 never, I'd always

00:57:08.140 heard the odd

00:57:08.940 classical piece and

00:57:09.860 I thought, oh, that's

00:57:10.420 really nice.

00:57:11.060 Oh, I know that one,

00:57:12.100 you know, those sorts

00:57:12.820 of things that you say.

00:57:13.660 But then actually there

00:57:14.920 was a genuine part of

00:57:16.780 principle that no, I'm

00:57:17.740 actually going to go,

00:57:19.080 yeah, I don't know

00:57:19.800 this piece, but I'm

00:57:20.480 going to go, I'm going

00:57:21.200 to listen, I'm going to

00:57:21.880 step into that unknown.

00:57:22.760 And I just, because

00:57:24.500 also on, if you book

00:57:26.100 on the morning, you

00:57:26.880 can get, it's more

00:57:28.140 accessible than theater

00:57:29.780 or even cinema these

00:57:31.580 days.

00:57:31.800 You can get a prom

00:57:32.620 ticket for £7.50.

00:57:34.660 Yeah.

00:57:35.120 So if you book on the

00:57:36.640 day, so they, it's

00:57:38.640 really accessible to,

00:57:40.160 to anyone.

00:57:41.400 And so, yeah, this

00:57:43.740 piece, I won't go

00:57:44.740 through it really because

00:57:46.380 it's there for people

00:57:47.380 to view and I don't

00:57:48.200 want to just regurgitate

00:57:49.160 all the talking points

00:57:50.620 I've already written.

00:57:51.320 But one of the, I

00:57:52.580 just have some musings

00:57:54.660 about it in terms of

00:57:56.120 the etiquette, the

00:57:57.020 social, sort of social

00:58:00.560 customs of it, because

00:58:01.820 it's actually, it's one

00:58:02.660 of those things that

00:58:03.460 people take it really

00:58:05.100 seriously.

00:58:06.200 And in a society where

00:58:07.680 everything is just

00:58:08.620 constantly made

00:58:09.700 flippant and it's, it

00:58:11.700 was actually a really

00:58:12.640 refreshing experience to

00:58:14.140 go there and people,

00:58:15.600 no, we're not just, you

00:58:17.380 know, you know, you're

00:58:18.020 not having your phone

00:58:18.780 out or no, how, shush,

00:58:20.660 you know, or any of

00:58:21.680 that, right?

00:58:22.160 Everybody gets it.

00:58:23.740 Everybody gets it.

00:58:24.740 You pay respect to

00:58:25.960 music as an experience

00:58:27.800 in itself that has a

00:58:29.480 value as the experience.

00:58:31.160 Yes.

00:58:31.640 And it's a perfect

00:58:32.440 cauldron of social

00:58:34.120 shame if you, if you,

00:58:36.200 you diverge from it.

00:58:37.880 So I got this because

00:58:39.960 it's a banger, but also

00:58:41.700 because I just, I

00:58:43.820 actually want to

00:58:44.600 specifically go back to

00:58:45.780 this because this is a

00:58:46.920 2009, right?

00:58:48.680 So we're coming to the

00:58:49.440 end of the Blair era

00:58:50.280 and everything.

00:58:51.440 So yeah, if we could

00:58:52.360 just play two minutes

00:58:53.640 of that, because more

00:58:54.880 for the visuals and the

00:58:55.940 song, which everyone

00:58:56.660 knows, but I really want

00:58:57.800 to get this across.

00:59:18.680 in Britain heard that

00:59:35.700 hand's command

00:59:38.080 A rose from out the

00:59:43.320 earth you made

00:59:45.520 A rose from out the

00:59:48.320 earth you made

00:59:50.080 This was the charter

00:59:55.400 The charter of the land

00:59:58.180 And guardian angels

01:00:01.320 sang this brain

01:00:03.720 We can leave it there

01:00:18.700 I happen, I happen to

01:00:21.180 notice something about

01:00:22.120 the crowd

01:00:22.680 Oh, do tell

01:00:23.680 They're all English 1.00

01:00:24.560 Ah

01:00:25.120 They're curious that

01:00:26.480 It puts you in good

01:00:27.320 spirits though, doesn't

01:00:28.260 it?

01:00:28.520 Yeah, it did back in

01:00:29.560 2009 and when we had,

01:00:31.720 you know, actual

01:00:32.480 displays of Englishness

01:00:33.900 It's curious how the

01:00:35.980 crowd isn't very

01:00:36.860 diverse.

01:00:37.440 I will note though,

01:00:38.360 you're absolutely right

01:00:39.000 It gets me in the mood

01:00:39.780 to blast this on all

01:00:41.500 of the boats

01:00:41.980 Right, right

01:00:43.040 As they're turned back

01:00:43.900 I will actually counter

01:00:45.120 you on one point though

01:00:46.100 which is that you say

01:00:47.120 how English it is

01:00:48.540 and it's a tragedy

01:00:49.300 obviously, but actually

01:00:51.000 you'll find that if you

01:00:51.960 go to the proms today

01:00:52.980 that's not changed

01:00:54.420 No matter how

01:00:55.600 Oh no, I know that

01:00:56.460 Oh right, yeah

01:00:57.160 Do you want to know

01:00:57.780 something funny?

01:00:58.620 It's the same with

01:00:59.420 metal gigs as well

01:01:00.680 Right

01:01:01.060 Which is that

01:01:02.140 and a lot of

01:01:03.700 rock and punk gigs

01:01:04.980 I went to see

01:01:06.160 John Lydon

01:01:07.740 otherwise known as

01:01:08.460 Johnny Rotten

01:01:09.060 play with Public Image

01:01:10.480 on their last ever tour

01:01:11.580 last year

01:01:12.280 Oh cool

01:01:12.720 And there is

01:01:14.360 no whiter environment 0.99

01:01:16.780 you can be in

01:01:17.660 in modern English

01:01:18.960 than a punk

01:01:20.340 or a metal gig

01:01:21.320 because

01:01:21.800 as much as people

01:01:23.500 would like to deny it

01:01:24.320 specific types of music

01:01:25.860 and feel to specific

01:01:26.920 types of people

01:01:27.780 Right

01:01:28.100 That's just the way it is

01:01:29.240 There's nothing

01:01:30.120 value judgement

01:01:31.420 in that

01:01:32.100 that's how it is

01:01:33.240 But this is my point

01:01:34.040 we should own this

01:01:34.940 we should really own this

01:01:36.400 and defend it

01:01:37.220 because

01:01:37.620 and honestly

01:01:39.160 it's an open field

01:01:40.060 because

01:01:40.320 no one else is interested in it

01:01:42.480 Same with the stately home

01:01:43.440 I occasionally go around

01:01:45.040 the sort of free parks

01:01:46.420 I went to an owl

01:01:48.000 and a butterfly enclosure

01:01:49.480 at a local heritage site

01:01:52.420 recently

01:01:52.760 and me and my missus

01:01:53.820 were walking around

01:01:54.180 and we were going

01:01:54.360 curious lack of diversity here

01:01:57.280 Well

01:01:57.700 there was something interesting

01:01:58.780 that I've just been reminded of

01:02:00.680 through this conversation

01:02:01.540 as I saw a report

01:02:02.700 that had been

01:02:03.260 going from

01:02:04.400 an American

01:02:05.380 American news report

01:02:06.760 where there had been

01:02:07.600 it wasn't a Walmart

01:02:09.420 but it was a similar

01:02:10.360 chain store

01:02:11.420 in America

01:02:12.380 where they

01:02:13.940 had been

01:02:14.620 being victimised

01:02:16.260 by the local diversity

01:02:17.620 shall we say

01:02:18.920 and it had been happening

01:02:19.720 again and again

01:02:20.700 and again

01:02:21.100 and you know what

01:02:21.940 they found

01:02:22.640 had been the number

01:02:24.160 one deterrent

01:02:25.300 for the diversity

01:02:26.400 coming and breaking

01:02:27.420 into the shop

01:02:28.000 and nicking things

01:02:28.780 Beethoven

01:02:29.700 Father's Day cards

01:02:30.760 maybe

01:02:32.360 but yes

01:02:33.800 you are right

01:02:34.380 they started to play

01:02:35.520 classical music

01:02:36.840 for speakers

01:02:37.520 they did this

01:02:38.480 in the McDonald's

01:02:39.360 in Wales

01:02:39.800 they played Beethoven

01:02:41.080 in the McDonald's

01:02:42.060 and it kept all the

01:02:43.100 people away

01:02:44.580 that they didn't want

01:02:45.600 around there

01:02:46.340 well yeah

01:02:46.760 it's music

01:02:47.420 that fundamentally

01:02:48.520 generally only really

01:02:50.720 applies

01:02:51.140 appeals to

01:02:52.260 Europeans

01:02:52.860 and East Asians

01:02:54.300 right

01:02:54.900 yeah no

01:02:55.660 actually that's something

01:02:56.580 the East Asians

01:02:57.500 really

01:02:57.740 I mean you could see

01:02:58.320 in the audio

01:02:58.800 in the

01:02:59.480 in the orchestra

01:03:01.180 there

01:03:01.960 there were a few

01:03:02.580 Chinese people

01:03:03.840 playing the violin

01:03:04.960 as well

01:03:05.580 they like that kind of music

01:03:06.540 same thing with

01:03:07.500 anytime there's a

01:03:08.600 royal pageantry event

01:03:09.500 it's usually

01:03:10.180 the British

01:03:10.820 that will turn out

01:03:11.560 en masse

01:03:12.080 and Asian tourists

01:03:13.320 who really admire

01:03:14.100 the royal family

01:03:14.680 and a few Americans

01:03:15.400 they're basically English

01:03:16.100 but I had my own

01:03:17.480 classical experience

01:03:19.060 when I was in

01:03:19.520 secondary school

01:03:20.340 for year 10

01:03:21.220 in our music class

01:03:22.360 there was a school trip

01:03:24.120 so that we could go

01:03:25.060 to look at the

01:03:26.280 go see the

01:03:26.980 Manchester Philharmonic

01:03:28.080 and this would have been

01:03:28.940 in maybe 2010

01:03:29.980 and I decided

01:03:31.260 you know I don't really

01:03:32.280 listen to

01:03:32.940 classical music

01:03:34.280 it's not heavy enough

01:03:35.320 for me

01:03:35.740 because I was still

01:03:36.340 wearing spiked wristbands

01:03:37.520 because I was really

01:03:38.180 cool at that time

01:03:39.200 but I decided to go

01:03:41.040 because why not

01:03:41.860 it was an experience

01:03:42.720 and it really was

01:03:44.320 one of those moments

01:03:45.300 I get there

01:03:45.960 sceptical

01:03:46.520 and I come out

01:03:47.140 true believer

01:03:47.720 because it was

01:03:48.340 a magical experience

01:03:50.140 don't carry

01:03:50.940 like Danny DeVito

01:03:51.680 I get it now

01:03:52.420 yeah

01:03:52.580 taking the music

01:03:54.220 seriously

01:03:54.880 it was something

01:03:55.820 that was

01:03:56.720 serious business

01:03:57.720 that spoke

01:03:58.620 to a part of me

01:03:59.560 that I hadn't

01:04:00.300 really encountered yet

01:04:01.380 right

01:04:01.600 it can open

01:04:02.340 and expand your mind

01:04:03.480 yeah

01:04:03.780 and that was my

01:04:04.500 discovery as well

01:04:05.220 but you're absolutely

01:04:05.860 right Connor

01:04:06.460 that the

01:04:07.040 demographics of the

01:04:08.960 proms have not

01:04:09.660 changed

01:04:10.060 but as you will see

01:04:10.980 with this clip

01:04:12.100 from last year's

01:04:13.200 night of the proms

01:04:14.360 if you would

01:04:15.060 if I dare you

01:04:15.900 to hit play

01:04:16.580 on it

01:04:17.520 just for

01:04:18.100 five seconds

01:04:19.080 am I going to be

01:04:19.660 upset by that

01:04:20.460 go on Samson 0.87

01:04:21.160 yes

01:04:23.540 yeah okay

01:04:41.440 that'll do

01:04:41.940 thanks

01:04:44.320 so

01:04:45.160 a lot of EU

01:04:46.200 flags in there

01:04:47.040 yeah

01:04:47.440 yeah

01:04:47.480 yeah

01:04:47.540 yeah

01:04:48.040 I thought

01:04:48.500 that's what

01:04:48.940 I was

01:04:49.240 seeing

01:04:49.580 never mind

01:04:49.960 the just

01:04:50.640 sheer dissonance

01:04:51.880 right

01:04:52.200 so I'm

01:04:53.340 hearing

01:04:54.420 Rule Britannia

01:04:55.500 which is a song

01:04:56.880 founded by Thomas Arne

01:04:58.620 in 1740

01:05:00.020 and came out

01:05:01.680 of

01:05:02.080 the reaction

01:05:03.960 to the Barbary

01:05:04.780 pirates

01:05:05.380 going over to

01:05:06.240 Cornwall

01:05:06.720 and Devon

01:05:07.260 and taking

01:05:08.040 English people

01:05:08.800 as slaves

01:05:09.340 and so that's

01:05:10.040 what it's referring

01:05:10.720 to

01:05:11.060 so before

01:05:12.000 even the sort

01:05:13.240 of imperialist

01:05:14.540 slant comes in

01:05:15.240 it's actually

01:05:15.860 about

01:05:16.280 defiance

01:05:17.440 against an

01:05:18.000 external threat

01:05:19.020 and yet

01:05:20.020 these people

01:05:20.660 are saying

01:05:21.200 waving their

01:05:22.920 EU flags

01:05:23.780 and saying

01:05:24.820 yeah

01:05:25.220 rule Britannia

01:05:26.680 Britannia rule 0.82

01:05:27.300 the waves

01:05:27.780 and by the way

01:05:28.400 we want to tie

01:05:29.100 you to a foreign 0.62

01:05:29.780 power

01:05:30.140 and dissolubly

01:05:31.040 and

01:05:31.400 it is really

01:05:32.000 funny though

01:05:32.580 that this is

01:05:33.140 kind of the

01:05:34.040 middle class

01:05:34.880 bubble

01:05:35.420 yeah

01:05:35.860 put into picture

01:05:37.280 though

01:05:37.560 isn't it

01:05:38.220 all of these

01:05:39.040 people who

01:05:39.980 go out of

01:05:40.980 their way

01:05:41.480 to enjoy

01:05:42.280 striving

01:05:43.320 higher class

01:05:44.640 forms of

01:05:45.740 music

01:05:46.120 and

01:05:46.620 environments

01:05:47.660 like the

01:05:48.140 Royal Albert

01:05:48.700 Hall

01:05:49.080 also support

01:05:50.820 all of the

01:05:51.540 policies

01:05:52.020 that would

01:05:52.560 destroy that

01:05:53.360 and take it 0.98

01:05:53.880 from them

01:05:54.280 forever

01:05:54.640 because they

01:05:55.360 are too 1.00

01:05:55.700 stupid 1.00

01:05:56.220 and insulated 1.00

01:05:56.980 to realise

01:05:57.660 that there

01:05:57.900 are consequences

01:05:58.620 to their

01:05:59.040 beliefs and

01:05:59.500 actions

01:05:59.800 they're also

01:06:00.420 the let's

01:06:01.220 think of the

01:06:01.700 food people

01:06:02.260 when it comes

01:06:02.520 to immigration

01:06:02.900 but exclusively

01:06:03.520 shop at

01:06:03.980 Waitrose

01:06:04.300 yes

01:06:05.480 but the other

01:06:06.820 thing to mention

01:06:07.520 with this as

01:06:08.280 well is the

01:06:08.920 fact that

01:06:09.560 the

01:06:10.520 people in

01:06:12.240 there of

01:06:12.660 course

01:06:13.040 it is in

01:06:14.160 London

01:06:14.500 and London

01:06:15.760 is as I

01:06:16.400 call in one

01:06:16.940 of the later

01:06:17.320 articles

01:06:18.000 London is

01:06:18.700 the capital

01:06:19.640 citadel

01:06:20.220 of the

01:06:20.760 anglophobes

01:06:21.560 right

01:06:22.040 that really

01:06:22.700 is just

01:06:23.160 where they

01:06:23.480 all hang

01:06:23.880 out

01:06:24.120 and because

01:06:24.780 yes it

01:06:25.160 is a very

01:06:25.580 middle class

01:06:26.080 fangship

01:06:26.440 that's

01:06:26.880 what they

01:06:27.780 do

01:06:27.960 but yeah

01:06:28.300 I'll move

01:06:28.720 on to

01:06:29.020 this

01:06:29.280 so the

01:06:30.540 BBC

01:06:30.900 must improve

01:06:31.940 diversity

01:06:32.500 as near

01:06:33.600 Snow White

01:06:34.420 proms

01:06:35.680 according to

01:06:36.780 campaigners

01:06:37.540 yes according

01:06:38.200 to those

01:06:38.820 people that

01:06:39.780 don't go

01:06:40.300 campaigners

01:06:40.960 with no

01:06:42.420 vested

01:06:42.940 interests

01:06:43.600 in diversifying

01:06:45.060 the proms

01:06:46.000 whatsoever

01:06:46.720 if they actually

01:06:48.040 tried this

01:06:48.700 this would turn

01:06:49.480 into a

01:06:50.400 modern audiences

01:06:51.800 video game

01:06:52.820 situation

01:06:53.440 where we

01:06:54.600 diversified it

01:06:55.680 and no one

01:06:56.380 bought it

01:06:56.960 why is this

01:06:58.180 I thought you

01:06:58.580 meant they were

01:06:58.920 all like in

01:06:59.380 FIFA or they're

01:06:59.860 all 2D

01:07:00.340 going

01:07:00.740 what they

01:07:02.420 put cardboard

01:07:03.360 cuts out 1.00

01:07:04.040 black people 1.00

01:07:04.820 in the 0.96

01:07:05.140 yeah because

01:07:05.540 after 2 years

01:07:06.380 when the music

01:07:06.880 goes to 0.54

01:07:07.440 rubbish

01:07:08.220 no one 0.99

01:07:08.620 will show

01:07:08.920 up

01:07:09.180 well I mean

01:07:10.780 if you're

01:07:11.440 trying to

01:07:12.000 attract the

01:07:13.060 audiences

01:07:13.780 then you

01:07:15.400 will have to

01:07:15.920 change the

01:07:16.380 music to do

01:07:17.160 that

01:07:17.520 and again

01:07:19.400 this isn't

01:07:19.840 the sort of

01:07:20.200 music that

01:07:20.680 appeals to

01:07:21.980 an audience

01:07:22.680 beyond Europe

01:07:24.040 and Asia

01:07:24.660 because they

01:07:25.000 don't apply

01:07:25.380 colour swatches

01:07:26.060 to who can

01:07:26.400 buy the

01:07:26.680 ticket

01:07:26.940 so if

01:07:27.440 they're not

01:07:27.680 organically

01:07:28.540 showing up

01:07:29.160 not yet

01:07:29.660 but I have

01:07:30.740 to admit

01:07:31.200 right I do

01:07:31.820 admit the

01:07:32.540 guy's got a

01:07:33.040 point I can

01:07:33.780 appreciate the

01:07:34.540 logical consistency

01:07:35.820 of a random

01:07:37.480 fentanyl addicted

01:07:38.500 drug dealer

01:07:39.280 dying in

01:07:40.200 Minnesota and

01:07:41.160 that logically

01:07:42.020 concluding that

01:07:43.100 we have to

01:07:43.640 diversify British

01:07:45.160 concert halls I

01:07:46.160 get that that

01:07:46.940 that just

01:07:47.320 obviously makes

01:07:48.400 sense however

01:07:49.740 it still comes

01:07:50.980 to

01:07:51.200 I'm loving the

01:07:55.340 delivery

01:07:55.700 this is great

01:07:56.240 however

01:07:58.100 great deadpan

01:07:59.020 however the

01:08:02.460 fact of the

01:08:02.920 matter is

01:08:03.520 that it

01:08:03.960 still comes

01:08:04.380 they're not

01:08:05.020 buying the

01:08:05.460 tickets

01:08:05.860 right they

01:08:06.560 can diversify

01:08:07.600 and diversify

01:08:08.320 it but the

01:08:08.720 fact of the

01:08:09.060 matter is as

01:08:09.520 you're saying

01:08:09.800 because they

01:08:10.280 don't see their

01:08:11.600 roots in it

01:08:12.340 right it

01:08:12.800 doesn't matter

01:08:13.340 how many

01:08:13.920 diverse people

01:08:15.940 they put in

01:08:16.680 the orchestras

01:08:17.620 they just don't

01:08:18.700 feel it's their

01:08:19.720 music

01:08:20.380 again another

01:08:21.760 analogy it

01:08:22.500 doesn't matter

01:08:23.040 how fat 0.99

01:08:24.240 black and 1.00

01:08:24.760 gay you make 1.00

01:08:25.720 the comic book 1.00

01:08:26.480 characters fat 0.99

01:08:27.900 black gay people 1.00

01:08:28.860 don't buy the 0.99

01:08:29.700 comic books

01:08:30.460 and neither

01:08:31.900 will I if you

01:08:32.680 keep

01:08:32.800 yeah neither

01:08:33.240 will I

01:08:33.680 yeah we can

01:08:36.700 go to the

01:08:37.120 next one

01:08:37.700 yeah oh

01:08:39.060 it's

01:08:39.460 it's fine

01:08:41.160 I won't scroll

01:08:42.240 down on it but

01:08:42.940 there's a there's a

01:08:43.680 point in that where

01:08:44.440 it just sort of says

01:08:45.320 that they're also

01:08:46.040 striving for

01:08:47.340 equity in a

01:08:48.660 50-50 split of

01:08:50.220 male to female

01:08:51.420 composers as

01:08:52.840 well which is of

01:08:53.840 course absurd

01:08:54.540 because it's

01:08:55.300 mostly men who

01:08:56.260 want to become

01:08:57.220 musical composers

01:08:58.880 well the same

01:08:59.420 with so

01:09:00.380 this is something

01:09:01.720 that's happened in

01:09:02.420 metal as well

01:09:03.500 where are all of

01:09:04.440 the women playing 0.85

01:09:05.400 metal listen there

01:09:06.640 is about maybe

01:09:07.340 10% of metal

01:09:08.500 bands with

01:09:09.200 female vocalists

01:09:10.380 and other musicians

01:09:10.980 that's all you're

01:09:11.920 gonna get and

01:09:12.860 those ones that do

01:09:13.700 it are generally

01:09:14.240 very good at it so

01:09:15.180 just leave it

01:09:16.100 alone the same

01:09:16.820 thing happens I

01:09:17.420 was having a

01:09:17.720 chat to my dad

01:09:18.580 because he just

01:09:19.000 said I'm not

01:09:19.400 going to donate to

01:09:19.920 charities anymore

01:09:20.580 because they've

01:09:20.940 all got some

01:09:21.420 sort of charter and

01:09:22.080 so we went through

01:09:22.580 the most innocuous

01:09:23.440 charities you'd

01:09:23.940 expect and I

01:09:24.980 usually do because

01:09:26.680 I'm a nerd in this

01:09:27.360 way the annual

01:09:28.320 RSPB bird watch

01:09:29.320 because I like

01:09:29.780 birds I went on

01:09:30.800 their web page

01:09:31.800 that's very wholesome

01:09:32.980 yeah that's very

01:09:33.840 sweet I have I

01:09:34.600 have I have a I

01:09:35.440 have a soft side

01:09:36.420 when I went on

01:09:38.220 their website they

01:09:39.100 have a diversity

01:09:39.920 equity and inclusion

01:09:40.900 coordinator page

01:09:42.080 like they go we

01:09:43.460 are striving for

01:09:44.440 equity and bird

01:09:45.300 watching just okay

01:09:47.200 one it's only done

01:09:47.960 by autistic men

01:09:48.700 two you're a bird

01:09:50.180 charity why are you 0.99

01:09:51.360 talking about black

01:09:51.960 people but it's

01:09:53.240 everywhere it's just

01:09:54.100 constantly everywhere

01:09:54.560 everywhere the English

01:09:55.560 are trying to be

01:09:56.780 English maybe they're 0.99

01:09:57.320 like hey you've heard

01:09:58.620 one chirp now try out

01:10:02.440 a few others

01:10:03.120 ceiling bird watching

01:10:03.980 the problem is Harry

01:10:05.340 they won't be able to

01:10:05.740 do it because they

01:10:06.280 just don't hear it

01:10:07.360 anyway we'll move on

01:10:12.200 yeah go on then

01:10:14.240 right so this was

01:10:15.640 actually something so

01:10:16.860 after this is going

01:10:19.140 back actually to 2020

01:10:20.660 2020 because you'll

01:10:21.540 remember when COVID

01:10:23.160 started that the BBC

01:10:26.140 decided that they'd

01:10:27.540 use that as an

01:10:28.440 excuse to sort of try

01:10:29.680 and slide rule

01:10:30.640 Britannia out the 0.96

01:10:31.700 back door and this is

01:10:32.960 something that's been

01:10:33.620 happening for a long

01:10:34.560 time and it actually

01:10:35.580 comes back to Carl's

01:10:38.920 point about you know

01:10:40.580 his speech at the

01:10:41.320 Witton about anti

01:10:42.140 metaphor right it's

01:10:45.360 like oh why can't we

01:10:46.500 get rid of it it's just

01:10:47.520 a song you know why we

01:10:49.880 can't get rid of it

01:10:50.700 and you know why we

01:10:51.620 love it and the fact

01:10:52.740 of the matter is that

01:10:53.660 generations upon

01:10:54.920 generations of Brits

01:10:56.620 have sung this song

01:10:57.860 boisterously in the

01:10:59.320 face of the Barbary

01:11:00.140 pirates in the face of

01:11:01.660 Napoleon in the face

01:11:02.960 of you know like there's

01:11:04.040 two world wars and now

01:11:05.720 in the face of

01:11:06.740 Wing Jing EU you know 0.83

01:11:09.360 middle class midwits

01:11:11.200 yeah exactly and so

01:11:12.920 yeah the the Remainers

01:11:14.840 are actually making it

01:11:16.160 more relevant than it's

01:11:17.240 been in quite a few

01:11:17.980 decades to be honest so

01:11:19.340 uh god bless them but

01:11:20.900 um I have a yeah next

01:11:23.000 one please

01:11:23.460 okay cheers uh I have

01:11:27.260 a particular animus

01:11:28.720 towards this guy so this

01:11:32.000 guy uh patriotic song

01:11:33.800 makes me makes people

01:11:35.360 feel uncomfortable

01:11:36.560 oh you were right the

01:11:37.300 first time yeah yeah

01:11:38.240 yeah makes you feel

01:11:39.880 uncomfortable and good

01:11:41.260 on you for being a

01:11:42.260 cellist as long as you're

01:11:43.800 good um who cares the

01:11:46.860 music isn't only meant

01:11:48.220 to appeal to you

01:11:48.940 right and but the thing

01:11:50.340 is as well right I'm

01:11:51.560 not narcissism I'm not

01:11:52.800 just picking the random

01:11:54.360 opinion of some you know

01:11:56.640 as you say this cellist

01:11:58.120 at Prince Harry's

01:11:58.960 wedding right which is

01:11:59.920 all right which is worse

01:12:01.120 than the opinion to be

01:12:02.320 honest with you but

01:12:03.760 nonetheless feels like a

01:12:05.040 Megan decision yeah

01:12:06.980 yeah you could have

01:12:07.900 Prince Philip was just

01:12:08.860 there cringing in the

01:12:09.800 background god bless him

01:12:11.660 but the um the thing is

01:12:13.320 as well with this that

01:12:14.280 he is the absolute

01:12:15.540 darling of the classical

01:12:17.920 music scene that has

01:12:19.040 been taken over by the

01:12:20.340 progressives right and

01:12:21.220 who want to use

01:12:22.460 classical music as a

01:12:23.980 vehicle to as always

01:12:25.800 promote their own

01:12:26.980 agendas right so he's

01:12:28.500 always in interviews he

01:12:29.820 always gets put

01:12:30.520 everywhere he's always

01:12:31.800 on stage he's always

01:12:32.800 got something going 0.76

01:12:33.920 like that bloody 0.86

01:12:34.520 George the poet that 0.92

01:12:35.400 they always wheel out

01:12:36.240 every new year's

01:12:37.160 celebration exactly

01:12:38.200 which is the art of

01:12:39.080 poetry yes exactly that

01:12:40.660 exactly that uh so

01:12:42.240 we'll go along another

01:12:43.780 one uh this is my uh

01:12:46.940 second article that I

01:12:48.520 actually wrote in

01:12:49.940 reaction to uh what

01:12:52.920 happened uh in the

01:12:53.960 prior video from

01:12:54.920 Isabel Oakesholt's uh

01:12:56.880 twitter account where I

01:12:58.340 just sort of went

01:12:59.040 through it and I was

01:12:59.780 saying that look at the

01:13:00.800 end of the day they're

01:13:02.040 doing this to

01:13:02.620 demoralize us obviously

01:13:04.300 that's all it's about

01:13:06.140 it's about demoralization

01:13:07.540 and um towards the end

01:13:09.660 of the article uh at

01:13:11.220 the time uh Peter

01:13:12.400 Whittle from the new

01:13:13.440 culture forum good

01:13:14.500 lad yeah yeah he is a

01:13:15.620 good lad and I say as

01:13:16.540 much in the article but

01:13:17.720 um he was sort of

01:13:18.940 saying that the proms

01:13:20.360 is best avoided right

01:13:22.440 it's like no actually I

01:13:23.860 don't think we should

01:13:24.520 give up the territory I

01:13:25.560 agree I don't think we

01:13:26.680 should give up the

01:13:27.200 territory we're just

01:13:27.880 going to let them have

01:13:28.520 it that easy right it's

01:13:29.880 like no it's literally

01:13:31.720 our turf we're the ones

01:13:33.620 with the genuine passion

01:13:34.720 for it we're the ones

01:13:35.760 who are just trying to

01:13:37.380 wave the union flag as

01:13:39.540 has traditionally been

01:13:40.760 done for over a

01:13:42.220 century now we're not

01:13:43.900 just going to give that

01:13:44.780 up and so but I I

01:13:48.060 regret to announce

01:13:49.000 that far from my sort

01:13:50.780 of calls to reinvigorate

01:13:52.320 the cause if we go to

01:13:53.640 the final one uh the

01:13:55.360 BBC have beat me to it

01:13:56.860 unfortunately because

01:13:58.720 last night the proms

01:13:59.740 ticket holders are told

01:14:00.620 protest flags will be

01:14:03.060 removed so the union

01:14:04.680 jack and st george's

01:14:05.740 cross of course of

01:14:07.020 course but obviously

01:14:08.220 what Scottish flag

01:14:09.360 question mark um

01:14:10.580 probably not thing is

01:14:11.880 as well right you have

01:14:12.620 to talk the last last

01:14:14.800 night at the proms back

01:14:15.840 in 2023 happened a

01:14:17.980 month before the uh

01:14:20.320 Israel uh palestine

01:14:22.120 so I was gonna say it's

01:14:23.280 all gonna be palestine 0.84

01:14:24.180 right so I I don't I'm

01:14:26.760 still pretty sure that

01:14:28.000 we're gonna see a sea of

01:14:29.280 um uh blue eu flags but

01:14:32.760 it's very I just think

01:14:34.980 it's a great tragedy

01:14:35.780 that it's come to this

01:14:36.980 point where it should be

01:14:38.520 a place it's just great

01:14:39.760 coliseum of national uh

01:14:41.940 patriotism but obviously

01:14:43.460 to them more than

01:14:44.520 covid patriotism is the

01:14:46.460 real virus that they wish

01:14:47.760 to eradicate and frankly

01:14:50.080 we can't allow it and so

01:14:51.780 I would just sort of say

01:14:53.040 to those listening that no

01:14:54.940 matter whether you attend

01:14:56.080 the proms or don't attend

01:14:57.580 the proms because I can

01:14:58.600 totally respect um even if

01:15:00.940 it is seven pounds fifty

01:15:01.900 that you just wouldn't

01:15:02.700 want to give the BBC a

01:15:04.020 quid uh which I totally

01:15:06.160 respect as a valid

01:15:07.540 opinion I would just uh

01:15:09.420 say to you that on your

01:15:11.420 own terms then it's

01:15:13.140 something worth looking

01:15:14.040 into buy some vinyls buy

01:15:15.960 some you know go to

01:15:17.280 another one there are so

01:15:18.420 many wonderful sort of

01:15:19.860 town um orchestras right

01:15:22.580 all up and down the

01:15:23.480 country you can support

01:15:24.560 your local orchestras

01:15:26.480 furthermore uh on the

01:15:28.220 sort of point that I was

01:15:30.000 trying to make with my

01:15:30.680 tweet that we referred to

01:15:31.540 at the beginning of this

01:15:32.340 uh take in take um

01:15:34.160 involvement in all of

01:15:35.480 your local culture as

01:15:36.880 well um in in parts of

01:15:39.340 the country they've got

01:15:40.260 really quaint funny things

01:15:42.040 like pie rolling contests

01:15:44.240 where you go to a hill

01:15:45.280 and people of the local

01:15:46.260 community of baked pies

01:15:47.440 and whoever gets theirs

01:15:48.360 down the hill first wins

01:15:49.740 uh there's lots of local

01:15:51.560 battle reenactments

01:15:52.760 because of course Britain is

01:15:54.080 a is a country filled with

01:15:55.940 battleground sites where

01:15:57.460 every single inch of this

01:15:58.920 country has so much

01:15:59.720 history in it go and

01:16:00.880 attend those maybe even

01:16:02.040 take part in them

01:16:02.880 yourself there's so much

01:16:04.040 that you can still do to

01:16:05.900 really get hold of and um

01:16:08.040 and and keep a hold of

01:16:09.360 your local culture yeah

01:16:10.660 for sure so yeah that's

01:16:12.140 my my sort of overall

01:16:13.580 thoughts on it excellent

01:16:15.200 right we got any video

01:16:16.140 comments today samson

01:16:16.940 none due to technical

01:16:19.820 difficulties rumble

01:16:21.040 rants there's gremlins in

01:16:23.400 the wires sorry everyone so

01:16:24.720 rumble rants uh

01:16:25.800 scott comes back for two

01:16:27.000 dollars with a geography

01:16:27.900 announcement come on

01:16:29.380 lads limisol isn't the

01:16:30.640 capital of cyprus

01:16:31.500 nicosia is but you got an

01:16:33.800 extra two dollars so maybe

01:16:34.780 you're the one out

01:16:35.200 smarting me aha yeah it

01:16:37.280 was totally on purpose

01:16:39.060 yes 10d underwater chess

01:16:41.880 anyway keith kaiser five

01:16:43.220 dollars opinion on

01:16:44.440 thonk that's p-h-o-n-k 1.00

01:16:47.520 growing type of music for

01:16:49.280 teens and young adults

01:16:50.160 usually of more bass

01:16:51.620 listeners i have never

01:16:53.040 heard of funk it sounds

01:16:55.580 like clown music

01:16:56.700 honestly honestly yeah

01:16:58.740 clown music sounds like

01:17:00.480 it should be clown music

01:17:01.940 well i i might check it

01:17:03.300 out is it it's not going

01:17:04.580 to be some weird eastern

01:17:05.940 european techno is it like

01:17:08.080 little dark dance music no

01:17:10.020 no no no i'm i'm more

01:17:11.300 talking about the kind of

01:17:12.400 stuff that is a constant

01:17:15.100 migraine bass drop for three

01:17:17.660 minutes at the loudest

01:17:18.740 possible volume it's nothing

01:17:19.700 like that is it because if

01:17:20.980 so rory's probably already

01:17:22.640 shown it to that's

01:17:23.460 probably true uh the last

01:17:24.880 russian i'm a huge lover

01:17:26.380 of classical music okay

01:17:27.760 classical music being

01:17:28.620 funded by the russians

01:17:29.380 first they stopped playing

01:17:30.620 the 1812 overture at the

01:17:32.040 royal albert hall because

01:17:33.100 mer russia war and now

01:17:34.620 this it truly breaks my

01:17:35.700 heart look it up it's

01:17:36.880 truly great oh wait yeah

01:17:38.220 it's funk some kind of um

01:17:41.080 neon synth wave style music

01:17:43.640 because it's all of these

01:17:45.180 bands that i'm looking at

01:17:46.240 right now they've got big

01:17:47.360 80s style neon aesthetics

01:17:50.640 and there's bands called

01:17:51.720 things like what was it

01:17:53.040 aggressive drift funk neon

01:17:56.360 blade murder in my mind by

01:17:59.020 chord hell oh wait wait no

01:18:01.560 wikipedia subgenre of hip-hop

01:18:04.120 and trap music not

01:18:05.020 interested okay yeah sorry

01:18:06.020 no definitely not

01:18:06.920 interested no i'm good like

01:18:09.040 my music tastes notoriously

01:18:10.340 terrible and even i think

01:18:11.380 that's dreadful i i would

01:18:12.600 actually just say on that

01:18:13.560 what he's uh talking about

01:18:14.900 there with the loss of the

01:18:16.120 russian overture yeah that

01:18:17.860 is one thing that i neglected

01:18:19.280 to mention as well just keep

01:18:20.540 up the bloody pressure on

01:18:21.980 keeping royal britannia in

01:18:23.620 because it's that thing we

01:18:25.200 can save it year after year

01:18:26.960 but we only have to lose it

01:18:28.040 once and they will never put

01:18:29.740 it back uh until we win uh

01:18:32.960 but not right uh so um

01:18:35.200 samson do you mind uh

01:18:36.560 scrolling down slightly on my

01:18:37.720 screen please thank you

01:18:39.120 comments rue the day someone

01:18:41.040 tell me his someone tell rory

01:18:42.640 his passion for graphic design

01:18:44.240 is very good oh yeah we need

01:18:45.320 to get him a mug with that

01:18:46.040 one graphic design is my

01:18:48.560 passion yeah uh rue waltz

01:18:50.460 says lucas cool and his

01:18:51.320 contributions are always

01:18:51.940 interesting do you come

01:18:52.660 again yes sir i like your

01:18:53.660 articles very much uh that

01:18:55.140 texas gal lucas should be a 0.97

01:18:56.340 weekly host um well he lives

01:18:58.020 far away from swindon because

01:18:59.240 he's intelligent that way so

01:19:00.540 it's only when he's in the

01:19:01.320 area uh from my segment uh

01:19:03.620 scott boyd those pesky men

01:19:04.880 yes obviously we can't give

01:19:06.520 any further details about those

01:19:07.580 men uh warlord wutai what

01:19:09.900 exactly would the coroner

01:19:10.920 consider a systemic failure if

01:19:12.800 the system not if the system

01:19:14.160 allowing violent afghans 1.00

01:19:15.700 refusing to investigate

01:19:16.960 despite repeated warning

01:19:18.060 signs and then veiling to

01:19:19.580 prevent him committing a

01:19:20.480 murder not a systemic failure

01:19:21.720 um the victim wasn't black 0.60

01:19:23.700 there you go captain charlie

01:19:27.060 the beagle yes there's been

01:19:28.120 another terror attack in 0.96

01:19:28.920 germany by a muslim but 0.98

01:19:30.040 haven't you heard this

01:19:30.740 schaff and das and people 0.77

01:19:31.720 wonder why the afd are doing

01:19:32.740 so well see my segment on

01:19:34.220 wednesday omar award imported 0.99

01:19:36.660 murderers and rapists are like 0.99

01:19:37.960 forever homeless giving them 0.95

01:19:39.560 resources won't help them off

01:19:40.600 the streets and turn them

01:19:41.280 into model citizens because

01:19:42.200 they like it likewise

01:19:43.680 invaders only accept freebies

01:19:45.000 because there's no

01:19:45.520 requirements change well

01:19:46.600 quite but that's a sensible

01:19:47.740 opinion held by someone who

01:19:48.780 doesn't believe in the false

01:19:50.100 anthropology of fundamental

01:19:51.280 human sameness because we're

01:19:52.740 all equal underneath i guess

01:19:54.540 calm rob final one for me

01:19:56.480 when i was in primary school

01:19:57.640 around 12 we had an afghan

01:19:58.780 who's about 30 years old

01:20:00.060 during my year during the

01:20:02.100 start of the middle eastern

01:20:02.760 wars the parents were in

01:20:03.880 uproar and yet the school

01:20:04.780 maintained he was 12 years

01:20:05.740 old absolute madness looking

01:20:07.100 back on it also when in high

01:20:08.500 school there were various

01:20:09.260 students in my year who

01:20:10.200 admitted they were over 18

01:20:11.260 from iraq and afghanistan if

01:20:12.820 you have any actual details

01:20:13.780 about that being published

01:20:14.760 yeah very interesting to hear

01:20:15.740 about as a teacher at school

01:20:17.580 like that you've got to know

01:20:19.060 the absurdity of what you're

01:20:20.800 trying to tell to the tell

01:20:22.080 the children at which point i

01:20:23.580 have to ask how do you sleep

01:20:25.120 at night because you are

01:20:26.740 putting those children in

01:20:28.320 danger lots of them are

01:20:29.840 crippling university educate 1.00

01:20:31.240 miseducated midwits and also 1.00

01:20:33.000 many of them are cowardly 0.99

01:20:34.240 because they've got the board 0.97

01:20:35.080 of governors who are

01:20:36.100 institutionally captured and

01:20:37.540 have the sort of gun barrel

01:20:38.900 of local council towards

01:20:40.040 their head telling them what 0.83

01:20:40.960 to do still disgusting and 0.99

01:20:43.360 immoral i'm not disagreeing

01:20:44.700 with it yep sven mills for

01:20:46.580 my segment says just bought

01:20:47.780 the forest path t-shirt from

01:20:49.440 behind a vpn so foreign money

01:20:51.360 scandal will be coming

01:20:52.540 your way 1.00

01:20:53.300 damn you 1.00

01:20:54.860 bonhom richard 1.00

01:20:58.680 temple has explicitly stated he

01:21:00.520 has no honor i'm gonna need a

01:21:02.140 fact check on that one his

01:21:03.800 unhinged take on ukraine may be

01:21:05.520 genuine quacker bs i don't

01:21:07.380 think he has an unhinged take

01:21:08.360 on ukraine i think he shouts

01:21:09.420 sometimes a little bit for

01:21:10.480 effect which i don't

01:21:11.420 necessarily do but tim's very

01:21:12.760 well researched in the ukraine

01:21:13.860 war and i i would consider

01:21:16.100 tim a friend so i don't think

01:21:17.220 that's necessary yeah um if i

01:21:18.980 will say if he swallowed that

01:21:21.420 recent story about the nord

01:21:23.760 stream pipeline being entirely

01:21:25.220 coordinated purely by a few

01:21:26.960 drunk ukrainians no he didn't 0.98

01:21:29.060 okay good because if he'd 0.97

01:21:30.420 swallowed that one immediately

01:21:31.780 then i'd be questioning he's

01:21:33.060 always said the us government's

01:21:33.860 been involved oh yeah

01:21:34.840 obviously um roman observer

01:21:37.420 subscriber from southern europe

01:21:38.880 bribing the le staff with eight

01:21:40.880 euros 67 cent each month vat and

01:21:44.620 fees included well thank you very

01:21:46.280 much we'll see you in the court

01:21:47.480 case omar awad this applies to

01:21:50.060 the first segment as well but it

01:21:51.280 feels like there's a language

01:21:52.140 barrier between native english and

01:21:53.900 tyrant english everything they say

01:21:56.160 is duplicitous and the definitions

01:21:57.560 rarely apply to the words that they

01:21:59.360 use in any meaningful way but if

01:22:01.120 you're fluent in establishment

01:22:02.200 media you can learn more from

01:22:03.920 what they don't say than what

01:22:05.440 they do yeah this is something i've

01:22:07.240 learned to do and i think we've

01:22:08.400 all learned to do which is read

01:22:09.960 past what is being said

01:22:11.700 explicitly and understanding the

01:22:13.860 implicit of what is being said

01:22:15.740 same with when you read say

01:22:17.440 mainstream history or textbooks or

01:22:20.120 philosophy um you can kind of read

01:22:23.200 past what is being said and figure

01:22:25.860 out what is actually going on it's a

01:22:28.400 skill that you need to develop but

01:22:29.860 it's not actually that hard once

01:22:31.120 you have i do the same thing of

01:22:32.360 where basically i look for the

01:22:33.840 blank slate in every single press

01:22:35.820 release a government puts out and

01:22:37.220 you just find it everywhere oh

01:22:38.500 every single time i'm gonna do an

01:22:39.960 episode basically on this of my

01:22:41.460 show breaking down the ideology of

01:22:42.780 the state shortly soon which should

01:22:43.920 hopefully be helpful yeah and

01:22:45.900 bleach demon says this tenant media

01:22:48.260 scandal is a reflection of the u.s

01:22:50.080 government's desire to form its own

01:22:51.320 ofcom information suppression system

01:22:53.060 but that pesky first amendment keeps 0.95

01:22:54.420 getting in the way always amuses me

01:22:56.220 that while evil rusky interference is

01:22:58.380 the absolute destruction of our

01:23:00.060 democracy meanwhile the u.s state

01:23:02.200 department ties to the color

01:23:03.920 revolutions of the arab string and

01:23:05.800 maiden is okie dokie well yeah of

01:23:07.800 course the state department the cia

01:23:09.380 they can get away with literally 0.95

01:23:10.660 anything the cia is basically a black

01:23:13.300 hole of accountability in the u.s and

01:23:15.460 as a result geopolitics so good luck

01:23:18.560 trying to hold them responsible or

01:23:19.960 accountable for anything i'll also

01:23:21.640 point out there is one rumble rant

01:23:23.600 come through from keith kaiser again

01:23:25.120 for another two dollars thank you very

01:23:26.320 much sir saying regardless of my bad

01:23:28.540 music tastes i also really love heavy

01:23:30.880 metal and rock thank you for

01:23:32.240 separating them out of the bad music

01:23:34.520 taste have you seen in flames i do like

01:23:37.780 in flames i have not seen them live i

01:23:40.240 want to because ever since sounds of a

01:23:43.400 playground fading that was their last

01:23:45.080 good album and then they released a

01:23:47.240 whole load of stinkers up until the

01:23:49.880 most recent one that they put out which

01:23:52.140 was actually okay chris broderick is

01:23:54.720 not being used as he should be in that

01:23:57.100 band this is complete gibberish to

01:23:59.540 these two but yeah samson gets me

01:24:03.720 samson understands you understand too

01:24:06.420 keith um but it's a step in the right

01:24:08.800 direction i would like to see them go

01:24:10.380 back in a more clayman direction again

01:24:12.200 but we always have those early albums

01:24:14.280 i will see them live eventually

01:24:16.440 through the fire and the flames is a

01:24:20.860 dragon force song it has nothing to do

01:24:23.100 with in flames although they were both

01:24:24.860 featured samson don't encourage him

01:24:26.640 what is going on have you not heard

01:24:30.040 through the fire and the flames oh i

01:24:31.240 haven't oh have you actually not have

01:24:33.100 you never did you never play guitar hero

01:24:34.440 three i didn't play guitar hero one or

01:24:38.280 two i i world tour or five it was a

01:24:40.960 difference not really okay different

01:24:43.620 songs on each of them but not really no

01:24:45.640 someone else had a wii and i think i

01:24:48.020 played it once that's it

01:24:49.260 fair play do you want to go see your

01:24:52.520 ones oh sure uh oh man i might want to

01:24:55.720 read it into the microphone oh yeah

01:24:56.860 uh uh so california refugee says oh man

01:25:03.040 i just woke up in time that's such a

01:25:04.980 californian thing to do uh for luca in

01:25:08.060 this segment his article on the site

01:25:09.840 about the hobbit is an excellent one a

01:25:11.960 favorite of mine oh yeah thank you i uh

01:25:13.980 i really enjoyed writing that one it was

01:25:15.620 one of my favorites to write too thank

01:25:17.160 you uh average ceiling bird watcher says

01:25:21.760 uh i swear in my road right now there is a

01:25:27.140 ceiling bird echoing down the road now i

01:25:30.780 don't know if it's because somebody like

01:25:33.240 because there's a few unoccupied houses if

01:25:35.220 some some builder or something has left

01:25:37.440 uncharged batteries in it or if this means

01:25:40.560 that my neighborhood is diversified and

01:25:42.840 this is the way i'm finding out did you

01:25:44.700 hear because i get home get out of the

01:25:46.840 car step outside and i just

01:25:48.340 where is i'm like that spongebob meme of

01:25:52.700 him as a grug just like i thought you were

01:25:54.660 the skyrim mpc it's like what's that

01:25:56.800 must have been the wind the one the one

01:25:59.700 that made me laugh um if anyone hasn't

01:26:01.240 listened to it there was a recent

01:26:02.540 x spaces debate between steve laws and

01:26:04.980 lawrence fox oh there was a chirp and and

01:26:07.280 call texted in to say who's got that

01:26:10.040 chirp in the background wasn't it

01:26:11.640 lawrence we don't know but i don't

01:26:14.260 think it was steve no i don't think it

01:26:15.780 was god bless lawrence um uh average

01:26:19.180 ceiling bird watcher says uh the problems

01:26:21.020 from a yank perspective is perhaps one of

01:26:23.020 the greatest expressions of british

01:26:24.640 identity it's a beautiful thing to see

01:26:26.540 never give an inch or centimeter if you

01:26:29.280 must use french units uh we must not

01:26:31.360 uh michael drabellus thank you belbis

01:26:36.560 belbis uh harry geeking out on metal

01:26:39.560 glorious metal does sing to the western

01:26:42.480 man's soul yeah as a recent uh blind 0.99

01:26:44.900 guardian convert i'm i'm getting there

01:26:47.160 i'm getting there good man uh furious

01:26:49.720 dan says i'm not even british but that

01:26:52.340 royal britannia gave me chills based uh

01:26:55.820 sophie lives says uh actually when it

01:26:58.180 comes to uh songwriting and composing in

01:27:00.920 current time men and women are split uh

01:27:03.280 pretty evenly i do speak from experience

01:27:05.720 though those who get uh really technical

01:27:08.180 and make the most uh the best uh most

01:27:11.020 advanced compositions yeah they are

01:27:13.480 mostly men i do i do like we love sophie

01:27:16.620 live i like how men made general

01:27:18.700 statement women go but from my personal

01:27:21.060 experience here's an exception this is

01:27:23.340 true i i i haven't seen what she's

01:27:26.400 talking about myself and i will agree

01:27:28.640 with the end of your statement and say

01:27:30.320 yeah uh frank zappers compositions could

01:27:34.220 not have been written by a woman

01:27:35.360 sorry and do you either of you know who

01:27:38.580 that is i know frank zappers oh okay good

01:27:40.800 that's all that's honestly shocking i know

01:27:49.800 anyway treat it like a 12a you can you get 1.00

01:27:54.840 one f word yeah make sure it counts i'm
