00:22:38.440Countries like Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan are finding common cause around trade, security, democratic institutions, international law, and global stability.
00:22:52.540And what Scaramucci appears to be saying is that Mark Carney has emerged as one of the most important voices bringing those countries together.
00:22:59.440Not because Canada is the most powerful country, but because Canada is increasingly acting as a bridge.
00:23:05.520a bridge between europe and north america a bridge between economic interests and democratic values
00:23:11.440a bridge between countries looking for stability in an increasingly uncertain world that's why
00:23:17.400those words matter he didn't say carney won he didn't say carney beat trump he said carney now
00:23:23.420leads the west carney now leads the west interesting garrettson thinks it's about
00:23:31.680leadership. It's about leadership. It's about Mark Carney being this great man who can pull
00:23:37.140countries together and get them moving in the right direction. He's been the prime minister
00:23:41.880of Canada for what, 18, 19 months? Hasn't got one project started yet. Nothing.
00:23:48.780Like, again, there's this disconnect, right? But the liberals who try to paint this picture
00:23:53.060of Mark Carney being this incredible genius leader, this charismatic figure who will take
00:24:00.320us from the ashes and rise us up again. Come on. Let's be honest here. Mark Carney is a clown
00:24:08.780who hasn't been able to do anything as long as he's been the prime minister, at least not as0.98
00:24:16.000far as a national leader goes. We know what he's been doing behind the scenes, maneuvering. And
00:24:20.560this takes us back to the very beginning of the show. I want to know exactly what's going on.
00:24:26.880We've got two unique perspectives we can play for you tonight.
00:26:02.100mark carney yesterday because mark carney was not at the press conference today where they were
00:26:09.900announcing these dollar for dollar tariffs like carney said we're gonna match the tariffs dollar
00:26:15.120for dollar. He said that, I think, on Saturday in that big speech to Canadians. And then he walked
00:26:20.840it back yesterday with this in French. American economy is much, much bigger, at least for the
00:26:29.420time being, than the Canadian economy. We're catching up, of course. Secondly, excuse me,
00:26:37.500what? What did he say? We're catching up, of course. Okay, so the U.S. economy is 13,
00:26:51.700maybe 14 times, depending on the day, because it fluctuates, anywhere between 13 and 14 times the
00:26:57.580size of the Canadian economy. We're catching up. That's very interesting. We'll get more into that
00:27:06.160in just a second. But here is Carney again talking about, well, we're not going to be
00:27:09.980able to do dollar for dollar. Because of this, it will be difficult to have dollar for dollar,
00:27:17.960always difficult to carry out dollar for dollar retaliation. So we might go the more targeted way
00:27:27.080that you are suggesting. For the time being, we have a lot to do in this area. So this is what
00:27:33.440we do for the time being. And as Madam Premier just said, we're not setting aside any solution.
00:27:39.900Madam Premier there, Frechette from Quebec. So that's Carney yesterday. Yesterday in Quebec.
00:27:49.960And then today on the CBC, federal ministers announced support for Canadians counter tariffs
00:27:55.920against U.S. Moves include extending some EI programs while hitting comparable U.S. products
00:28:02.540with tariffs so are these in fact dollar for dollar days after the collapse of trade talks
00:28:10.260with the trump administration by the way this is six minute read they say i'll try and do it for
00:28:14.540you in five i don't think we're going to do the whole thing either uh with the trump administration
00:28:20.140the liberal government is rolling out seven points so this is our tax dollars now not to
00:28:24.260mention the borrowing that carney is going to have to do to make this happen as the dollar will
00:28:29.160plummet. The more and more the effect of these tariffs take hold in Canada, the more our loony
00:28:37.760will plummet until it gets down to around 60 cents U.S., maybe even in the 50s somewhere,
00:28:42.540because this will be unsustainable. They're banking on something happening in November,
00:28:49.440the midterms. But even then, it's not going to matter because the president still holds
00:28:55.400incredibly significant power in the area of tariffs on his own he doesn't need congress
00:29:02.040especially with these tariffs he slapped on canada the other day anyway rolling out 7.5 billion to
00:29:11.120help workers and businesses weather the new 50 percent tariffs being imposed on 27.6 billion
00:29:16.440of canadian goods by the u.s president finance minister francois philippe champagne and other
00:29:22.120ministers announced today that alongside the supports for businesses starting
00:29:25.960september the 8th so these don't even take effect for a couple of weeks
00:29:29.240like make them immediate the government will match the u.s levies dollar for dollar by tariffing 27.6
00:29:39.500billion of comparable u.s goods so i guess they're doing the dollar for dollar thing
00:29:43.500this is an unprecedented challenge imposed on canada but canada will meet the moment by the
00:29:48.200way, Trump has also threatened another tariff on Canadian auto parts starting on January 1st,
00:29:54.540but I think he's probably going to move that up, especially if Doug Ford continues his rhetoric.
00:30:00.560An unprecedented challenge imposed on Canada, but Canada will meet the moment.
00:30:04.760Canadians will meet the moment. We will meet the moment together,
00:30:08.420Champagne said at the announcement held at a roofing company in Ottawa.
00:30:12.960We will support our workers, our businesses, and our industries with whatever it takes for as long
00:30:17.180as it takes, will you? Man, there's going to be people lighting up at food banks. This is going
00:30:26.380to get very, very, very ugly. Now, I'm not going to lie. The Americans are going to feel a little
00:30:31.420bit of this, too, but not nearly as much as Canada. This is like if this goes on any longer
00:30:36.820than I think Carney is banking on 10 weeks until the midterms. It's going to get bad.
00:30:44.120But if it goes on longer than that, because I was looking at some polls today, the Republicans are going to hang on to the Senate, it looks like, and they might lose the House by one seat.
00:30:55.520There's 435 seats in the House of Representatives.
00:30:58.540It looks like it's going to be 218 for the Democrats and 217 for the Republicans.
00:31:03.520And right now there's a difference of two seats anyway.
00:31:08.400And the House can't do anything on its own anyhow.
00:31:11.220Yeah, they can vote to impeach Trump, but so what?
00:31:14.120I mean, they'll never get it past the Senate. It's not going to happen.
00:31:18.860The measures have been designed to focus support on workers and businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises across the country.
00:31:26.960As part of the support package, the Liberal government is directing $3.5 billion of the $7.5 billion support funding into a rapid response initiative for workers and employers.
00:31:37.400they know it's going to be bad but 3.5 billion that's not even that's not even close to scratching
00:31:46.720the surface you guys better hunker down seriously this might get really bad part of the money will
00:31:54.240go toward expanding three changes to ei first announced in september 2025 that were set to
00:31:59.300expire october 10th including waiving the one week waiting period to collect ei for another year0.97
00:32:05.880See, they're expecting some bad shit, man.
00:32:09.920Extending permission for workers to receive EI payments0.98
00:32:12.580without first having to use up their separation payments
00:48:18.680Fact, Canada's failed trade policies are driving its own manufacturers
00:48:22.940south. A recent survey found 42% of Canadian manufacturers have already moved or are planning
00:48:28.960to move production to the United States. Fact, Canada is doubling down on tariffs targeting
00:48:35.480American workers. Canada just announced an additional $27.6 billion in tariffs on American
00:48:41.260businesses, including a 50% tariff on American steel and aluminum, a 25% tariff on American
00:48:48.160fish and a 25% tariff on American tools. Fact, the U.S. economy is approximately 13 times larger
00:48:56.280than the Canadian economy, at home to over eight times as many people. The United States has the
00:49:02.580clear leverage. President Trump said it best. Canada is easily the most difficult and unreasonable.
00:49:09.380They feel entitled, but they're not a state and will be entitled no longer. Canadian leadership
00:49:17.060chose retaliation over partnership and america is no longer willing to carry them
00:49:23.480jameson greer is the u.s trade representative he goes by the title of ambassador and he was on
00:49:30.500who was this he was on the other day fox or cnbc or ms anyway yeah he was talking about this trade
00:49:38.260negotiation breakdown with us the canadians the other day and he seemed surprised and this is
00:49:44.100something else i want you guys to really look for when these people are being interviewed look for
00:49:49.580their facial expressions and their body language that's very key so dude is going to ask jameson
00:49:55.940greer here so uh what's this about french who's i did right like he looks genuinely surprised by
00:50:02.160this whole thing watch this declined or we had a difference of you you speak french french i do
00:50:08.140So you don't care whether they change some of the language up there, whether they make it?
00:50:14.660No, I mean, that was a funny fake story.
00:50:17.360And I don't think that I mean that I speak French to my kids speak French when my kids was born in Paris.
00:50:22.740So I like the Québécois and I like that they speak French.
00:50:26.260What we don't like is a situation where Canada, the federal government, forces American tech companies to to take their earnings and give a percentage to their competitors in Canada.
00:50:36.700But I understand why the Québécois want to have, you know, French language content and all of that.
00:50:42.520And we think that's a really valuable thing.
00:50:44.280And we encourage countries to really, you know, put their own country first and put their national identity first.
00:50:51.220So what is that? So what is that about then, Ambassador?
00:50:54.340There was some reference to the idea that we wanted some of it to be either in English or that English had to be first or something like that.
00:51:02.700True, not true. That's not that is not true.
00:51:05.160I can tell you that's not true. I think that's just I don't know what that is about.
00:51:09.720I mean, it's what I said. There are countries like like Australia and like Canada where they go to somebody like Netflix or other streamers and they say, OK, you make X money.
00:51:19.180You're going to take five percent of that and you have to give it to Canadian content producers or Quebec content producers or Australian content producers.
00:51:27.880And that's what you have to do. And we think that's a tax, a discriminatory tax on American companies.
00:51:33.620But we have no problem with French language.
00:51:44.020There's a clip of Melanie Jolie today at the tariff announcement that she was president.
00:51:50.080Mark Carney was nowhere to be found today, by the way, because I guess they say that he was busy briefing the opposition leaders as to what's going on.
00:52:00.060Let me see if I can find this clip real quick here.
01:17:58.600That is the globalists all over the world wanting to make sure that you don't have freedom anymore, that you are a slave to the globalist corporation's slave state, okay?
01:18:16.320Stakeholder strategy, wow, that's not trade, that's not commerce, that's stakeholder, that is the Great Reset.
01:18:27.560She's a Democratic operative with campaign work behind her for Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and for Kamala Harris.
01:18:38.800So wait, he's hiring somebody who worked on the campaign of all the people that Donald Trump has run against?
01:18:48.460In July, he promoted her to chief operating officer of the prime minister's office.
01:18:53.560That position has never even existed in Canadian history, and it's now being run by an American?
01:19:02.540The person now running the daily machinery of the Canadian government advising the prime minister on how to handle Donald Trump spent her career trying to beat Donald Trump.0.88
01:19:13.920That's not somebody you hire to negotiate with the president.0.99
01:19:16.560You hire that person to destroy the president and find a way to get around him.
01:19:23.560Now, he's already told us what he's going to do.
01:19:28.040I know Jason is going to be doing a lot on this with the insiders today
01:19:36.600and he's got all the stats and all the fact and figures.
01:19:39.700I'm not going to have time to get into it all a bit,
01:19:41.580but behind the scenes today, if you're a Torch insider,
01:19:44.400you're going to get all of that information.
01:19:46.100Okay. In in January at Davos, Carney gave a speech arguing what has happened with the world and the world order is not a transition, but a rupture. And I have to tell you, it is Donald Trump is resetting the entire world. And the globalist powers do not like that.
01:20:09.080The great powers, he said, are using trade as a weapon and finance as a leash.
01:20:14.880And that the middle-sized nations of the world have to combine against it.
01:20:19.860His line was, if we're not at the table, we're on the menu.
01:20:26.120And in Davos, that doesn't happen, okay?
01:20:29.040So the terror fight is not about lumber or gasoline or oil or aluminum or anything else.
01:20:36.360It is the opening engagement in a much older project to hold the global economic system together the way they have made it since 1945 and the way that it benefits all the elites in the world until the Americans elect somebody who wants that back.
01:20:57.200Now, let me tell you, this has been tried before on us and it has a name and the name is almost as old as our country.
01:21:06.360and you'll never guess who's done it to us before.
01:21:10.760But Canada this time, last time, France.
01:21:15.940You know, people don't even realize that they're getting half the story online.
01:21:19.480If you only read one version of events, even from people you generally agree with,
01:22:06.360So Ghanai does something no ambassador had ever done before.
01:22:10.760He didn't go to Philadelphia and make his case to the president.
01:22:14.460He landed in Charleston and he started working the crowd and he started recruiting American sailors and arming a captured British ship right there in an American harbor.
01:22:25.720He's giving speeches, letting himself be cheered.
01:22:29.220Well, Pennsylvania sends a man down to the docks and orders the ship held until Washington got back from Mount Vernon.
01:22:36.160Well, Ghanai loses his temper, and out comes the sentence.
01:22:40.120He said, if you try to stop me, I will appeal not to the president, but to the people.
01:22:46.800And he starts to talk a little revolutionary about Washington.
01:22:51.140Well, Washington hears that, and it's one of the very few times I have ever seen in history where you can almost feel Washington's blood pressure go up.
01:27:54.740We have to give them more to buy those bonds.
01:27:57.540When they dump bonds, prices fall, yields rise,
01:28:01.840and every dollar our government borrows costs us more.
01:28:04.740So our interest rates go through the roof on $40 trillion.
01:28:10.840So the currency problem becomes our interest problem.
01:28:16.320So at the end of July, our Treasury bought yen for the first time since 2011.
01:28:22.120And thank God for Scott Besant, because he started pushing something called the FEMA repo facility.
01:28:28.420That is an obscure Fed window thing that I'm not going to bore you with.
01:28:33.260But it allows foreign central banks to take its treasuries and sell them instead of selling them, pawn the treasuries for dollars from our U.S. treasury and and our Fed.
01:28:46.360OK, Japan gets the cash, but the bonds never hit the markets.
01:28:50.740Our rates stay put. Besant said he wants the ceiling raised, yada, yada.
01:28:55.380That's the tourniquet on this whole thing.
01:28:56.980This thing is so fragile, and I think it makes sense now why Besant was hired, because Besant spent years at the Soros Fund Management, and when he was hired, and I love Besant, but I didn't when I first heard him, I'm like, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
01:40:30.460So what will the retaliatory tariffs mean for grocery bills, gas prices, and the cost of everyday goods?
01:40:37.320How much more will families have to pay?
01:40:39.800And where will the tariff revenues go?
01:40:42.760Canadians are already spending more on taxes than on food, clothing, and shelter combined.
01:40:47.980They cannot afford to pay more for groceries, gas, and housing.
01:40:51.980And so we want the Prime Minister to lay out very clearly what are the costs and how will Canadian families be made whole.
01:40:58.620we need this to be we need to focus on the affordability of the bills that canadians pay
01:41:05.320and that takes information in parliament and action by all parties in that chamber
01:41:10.960i wonder if they're like i mean there he is standing there with a couple of his that's in
01:41:17.280windsor like right across the river from detroit earlier today and there's some
01:41:20.760mps standing behind him i wonder how many reporters were actually there like two
01:41:26.460like he's not he's not drawing a lot of spectators these days it just doesn't have the
01:41:34.740i'm sorry man but he's got to and again i mean he's got to do something
01:41:42.460to get the national attention back it rested away from mark carney he's got to
01:41:49.440but he's just not in the position to do that it's amazing how this is folded out just like the last
01:41:59.400time he became a little squeaking gerbil in the background polyf did through no fault of his own
01:42:04.800it just happens like that right and then he went to the states and he went on joe rogan and all
01:42:11.420those big podcasts in europe and he started to get back and man summer is bad for the opposition
01:42:17.600One last thing here. We, or sorry, will come back to bite you. Top official asked Fauci for vaccine side effect study. We're going to do an email. This is from the Western Journal, you guys. This is kind of a big deal because more and more is coming out about what Fauci did and the effects he had on other health officials, not just in the United States, but worldwide.
01:42:41.220A newly released email suggests that the nation's top vaccine regulator encouraged Anthony Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins to leverage billions in scientific research dollars to study COVID vaccine side effects, but they never followed through on that request.
01:42:59.240In the spring of 2021, Janet Woodcock, the head of the Food and Drug Administration,
01:43:05.440wrote to the leaders of the National Institutes of Health, the country's leading funder of medical
01:43:09.660science, to encourage a study in the report she had received of adverse events after COVID
01:43:15.860vaccination. Woodcock had received many of these reports from health care professionals. He wrote
01:43:21.120in the email released by Republican Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson and obtained from Fauci's
01:43:26.820government email. The symptoms do not fit together into a distinctive syndrome and most are not
01:43:32.780easily quantifiable or evaluated with standard laboratory testing, she wrote in the May 27th,
01:43:39.5002021 correspondence. Clearly during mass vaccination, you'll get a lot of psychological
01:43:44.200reactions and it's hard to sort these things out. But the people's main complaint is that no one
01:43:50.060takes them seriously. No one knows how to treat them and there is no effort to study this.
01:43:57.820Woodcock said these studies should be undertaken even if the vaccine makers wouldn't support them.
01:44:04.520I doubt the industry would support for obvious reasons, she wrote in the email.
01:44:08.500But my experience is that if you let a problem fester, then it will come back to bite you later and you're not prepared.
01:44:17.500Woodcock was the FDA official and FDA official for 37 years and cultivated a reputation for being friendly to the pharmaceutical industry
01:44:25.780and industry-backed patient groups. Yet she apparently recognized the importance of studying
01:44:31.600vaccine side effects outside of the context of the pharmaceutical company's clinical trials.
01:44:38.000Woodcock warned the existing safety surveillance systems at both the FDA and the CDC were not
01:44:44.960sophisticated enough to adequately detect and describe some side effects. These problems are
01:44:51.100not the sort that a system like VAERS would be able to detect, or even a more sophisticated
01:44:55.700population-based active follow-up like CDC has, or a medical record-based systems like BEST,
01:45:02.660which is an FDA surveillance system. Despite the roughly 5.5 billion in research dollars
01:45:10.020that Fauci steered as the director of NIAID, it's not clear the sort of study Woodcock suggested
01:45:17.440was ever conducted. An April investigation by Ron Johnson first revealed another top
01:45:23.900FDI official. Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research Director Peter Marks brushed
01:45:30.380off warnings from a safety data expert that FDA systems could be inadequately sensitive
01:45:35.080and missing statistically significant side effects. Marks said the analysis could create
01:45:40.800erroneous conflicts that feed into the anti-vaccination rhetoric.
01:45:46.760Fauci and Collins did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
01:45:50.820An email requesting comment from Marks sent through Eli Lilly, where he now serves as
01:45:55.960his senior VP of Molecule Discovery, did not receive an immediate response.
01:46:00.920An email requesting comment from Woodcock sent through Every Cure, a patient advocacy
01:46:05.260group with Woodcock on the board, did not receive an immediate response.
01:46:09.460Woodcock's email. Fauci noted to Collins that we cannot ignore her and suggested alerting then CDC
01:46:17.020director Rochelle Walensky. Janet asks what we think of this. We cannot ignore her. We should
01:46:23.620probably be bringing in the CDC and see what Rochelle thinks, he wrote. Johnson's office noted
01:46:29.440in a press release that it's not clear whether she ever was. When Republicans retook control of
01:46:35.100the Senate 2025 Republican Kentucky Senator Rand Paul gained the chairmanship of the key
01:46:41.280Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee and began the process of compelling testimony
01:46:47.080and subpoenaing records. Johnson simultaneously also became chair of the HSGAC's chief investigative
01:46:54.240subcommittee. So there's one more little piece to the puzzle that hopefully finally gets solved
01:47:02.800in the not too distant future and that's all i've got for you guys tonight i love you and i
01:47:09.260appreciate you and i hope you have a great sleep tonight and a great day tomorrow and i will talk
01:47:13.860to you tomorrow night at the regular time eight o'clock central i will leave you with reo speed
01:47:20.400wagon and i'll talk to you tomorrow night bye
