00:03:30.000 Hello everybody, welcome to Shadow at Night. This is Tuesday, March the 25th, 2025. A special show tonight featuring a retired undercover police detective from Toronto, Donald Best.
00:03:43.120 We are going to break down the guilty verdict of Helen Gruse, former Ottawa police detective Helen Gruse. Today she was found guilty of one charge of disreputable conduct after what seems like two years on trial.
00:03:57.440 And she wasn't even on trial. This was just a police kangaroo court, if you will, with the adjudicator, Chris Renwick, finding her guilty as of this morning.
00:04:11.820 So will she appeal? What's her penalty going to be? We're going to find all of that out in the coming days.
00:04:17.140 Donald Best is going to join us and break this all down.
00:04:19.520 And in case you guys don't know this story, we're going to go right back to the beginning as to what Helen did.
00:04:27.380 And then we're going to carry it through all the way until today.
00:04:29.920 Donald has been following this thing ever since it began a couple of years ago.
00:04:34.440 He is the expert on this, and I'm happy, very happy to have him on the show tonight.
00:04:38.820 As always, the Shadow at Night livestream is brought to you by CanadaNanoSilver.com.
00:04:44.480 And Crest toothpaste to Silver Cytocles toothpaste.
00:04:46.740 First, we're starting out with Crest.
00:04:47.960 It's a classic.
00:04:48.420 It's an original.
00:04:49.080 It's what i've used most of my life, but that being said it does have its problems
00:04:52.680 First off the consistency is so weird and thick and I get it's a paste
00:04:56.020 But it really doesn't spread that well
00:04:57.380 And I must also say that i'm not in love with the taste
00:04:59.920 I get toothpaste isn't supposed to taste good, but why shouldn't it?
00:05:03.020 But that being said it does get the job done next we have silver suiticles
00:05:05.780 They have three flavors, but today we're going with bubble berry and already it smells so good
00:05:09.220 So i'm excited to see what this tastes like the consistency is also a lot smoother
00:05:13.120 And I must say it spreads way nicer in your mouth. This literally tastes like
00:05:16.640 fruit bubblegum
00:05:19.020 Yeah, this toothpaste was pretty good.
00:05:20.600 I actually went in for seconds, and it's infused with nano-silver,
00:05:23.660 so it helps remineralize your teeth and keep them fresh throughout the day.
00:05:27.220 100% go with silver suit, cool.
00:05:28.860 And here's the results.
00:05:29.940 What's your favorite toothpaste?

00:06:49.100 It's an important show tonight.
00:06:51.080 Our guest Donald Best joins the show right after this 30-second break.
00:07:13.800 and here i am so yeah let's uh you know what i forgot the word it was a police tribunal
00:07:34.540 donald that was being held this was not a uh a court actually this was a tribunal that the
00:07:42.060 police could do anything they pretty much wanted to do and did do to helen and her attorney beth
00:07:47.200 sheba vandenberg over the past couple of years welcome to the show thank you for coming on i
00:07:51.960 know you've got a busy day so we'll try and get you out of here as quickly as we possibly can but
00:07:56.860 first can we go back to the beginning of all this what did helen do wrong and i know that's going to
00:08:04.360 seem like a trick question to people who know this inside and out well first of all you got it right
00:08:10.960 kangaroo court kangaroo court is what it was yeah and this verdict was no surprise to anyone who's
00:08:18.820 been following in this case uh i i called it a year and a half ago kangaroo court the fix is in
00:08:25.780 um by the way i have on my website donaldbest.ca donaldbest.ca i have an entire tab with all the
00:08:36.240 stories my stories and other people's stories about this case because this case is probably
00:08:41.820 the most important case in policing history in 150 years yeah you'll you'll see why that is
00:08:51.840 we have fundamentally changed the way we police now in canada he used to be on the british model
00:09:00.180 150 years old, Sir Robert Peel, that's all gone now. And Detective Gruse's judgment really goes
00:09:12.680 into that. It takes away the discretion from police officers across this country. So what
00:09:19.800 happened? Detective Helen Gruse, award-winning police officer, Ottawa police, and she had about
00:09:27.520 20 years on when in 2019, 2020, the reported pandemic and the lockdowns hit and the vaccines
00:09:41.320 came along. And by November, December, 2021, people started realizing that things were happening.
00:09:56.760 Now, Detective Groose worked in what was called the SACI unit,
00:10:01.480 Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit.
00:10:04.640 And it was their duty to investigate sudden infant deaths
00:10:10.060 or unexpected infant deaths that happened outside of hospitals.
00:10:16.660 And Detective Groose's squad started discussing
00:10:21.920 that there were double or triple the number of unexpected baby deaths in a recent period,
00:10:30.520 and this was in fall and winter of 2021, and it was a discussion in the squad
00:10:38.660 that they had tripled the unexplained baby deaths.
00:10:45.180 How many baby deaths, I'm sorry to interrupt you, Donald, usually in a city like Ottawa,
00:10:50.800 I'm not sure if you'd have a number like this, but how many babies die?
00:10:55.940 I mean, this is not something people think about very often, right?
00:10:59.180 Right, and die under such circumstances that it's unexplained, unexpected.
00:11:05.400 And the answer is, for this cluster of infant deaths,
00:11:11.560 when the SACA unit identified, it was about nine,
00:11:15.880 and in a period where they usually have about two or three okay thank you and even worse than that
00:11:25.420 in the winter or the early winter of 2021 there were two baby deaths where the infants
00:11:35.640 died in their mother's arms now shadow this is so rare that we heard during the trial during
00:11:45.040 the tribunal from a prosecution witness who is an expert in investigating baby deaths and
00:11:52.700 supervising the investigations. This detective has supervised over 500 investigations into
00:12:01.780 unexplained infant deaths. That's really something. And he testified under oath that in all his time
00:12:11.360 and his decades on the police service and looking at these deaths
00:12:15.020 for the Ontario committee that looks at them,
00:12:18.880 he couldn't remember maybe one death
00:12:23.080 where the child died in its mother's arms.
00:12:27.600 Usually it's a crib death.
00:12:29.100 Usually it's the child was sleeping, something like that. 0.66
00:12:32.600 But to have a child die in its mother's arms,
00:12:35.700 it's a one in 500 occurrence.
00:12:37.740 and in ottawa we had two in a matter of weeks so this is what what detective bruce is looking at
00:12:47.260 and she now look i'm sorry to interrupt you were the police called by anybody about these deaths
00:12:55.320 or did this just happen to come across their screen one day or did they see it in a newspaper
00:13:00.760 how did the police find out about this the police get involved whenever there's an unexplained infant
00:13:06.280 deaths outside of a hospital. So the police are called. And whether it's called by the ambulance
00:13:12.860 attendants or the initial 911 call, the police go there and it's usually a uniformed patrol officer
00:13:22.320 who will arrive first, but then they contact, as per the procedures, they contact the SACA unit
00:13:29.820 and the SACA unit does an investigation.
00:13:33.560 So all those investigations go into a central record storage system
00:13:39.640 and everything's in there.
00:13:42.440 The radio call, the reports that were written,
00:13:48.000 maybe statements from the witnesses, from the parents,
00:13:50.620 the questioning of the parents, maybe a coroner's report, maybe not.
00:13:55.540 It just depends.
00:13:57.060 So it's just normal.
00:13:58.280 This is what happens.
00:13:59.820 So Detective Groose was not assigned to investigate any of these nine deaths.
00:14:06.540 It's a large squad.
00:14:07.640 Somebody else was assigned to investigate these deaths.
00:14:11.160 But everybody's talking about them.
00:14:13.720 And everybody's talking about the fact that two children died in their mother's arms.
00:14:18.080 One in 500 occurrence.
00:14:19.340 We had two in Ottawa in a few weeks.
00:14:23.140 So Detective Groose wondered.
00:14:26.700 You know, was there any, I'm sorry to.
00:14:28.800 I just, when these babies died in their mother's arms,
00:14:32.780 was there any sign of distress at all that the baby was ill?
00:14:36.080 Or was it just a sudden baby stops breathing,
00:14:39.180 mother freaks out, tries to wake the baby back up,
00:14:43.340 and it doesn't happen?
00:14:44.940 Like, how did that go down?
00:14:46.700 Okay.
00:14:47.460 The two that died in their mother's arms were lively, alive,
00:14:54.620 and then they were dead.
00:14:55.840 That's my understanding.
00:14:57.640 Okay.
00:14:58.160 Okay. And, you know, some of the others, a couple were under circumstances that turned out to be, couldn't have had anything to do with the vaccine. Detective Goose wondered, is there anything to do with the vaccine, the COVID vaccine?
00:15:16.100 So, in any event, that's where it was in the fall of 2021.
00:15:23.900 And Detective Goose started an investigation or a preliminary investigation.
00:15:30.640 G.I. Wonder.
00:15:31.960 And then there was a leak of some Pfizer documents, which were eventually, a court ordered them all released the following summer in 2022.
00:15:43.100 And you probably know what we saw there.
00:15:46.360 We saw evidence that during the original tests of the vaccine, the Pfizer vaccine, 30 out of 32 babies died in the womb.
00:16:01.600 Two were born and one died afterwards.
00:16:04.460 So out of 32 pregnancies, which were unintended, they didn't test it on pregnant women, but the women got pregnant.
00:16:10.940 And out of those 32 pregnancies that they follow up on, 31 were death.
00:16:19.940 They knew that.
00:16:21.720 They knew a lot about that vaccine.
00:16:24.680 And as we've seen in the Pfizer paper, they continued to push it.
00:16:28.200 They didn't tell people.
00:16:30.900 Truly, at this stage, with what we know, I'll call criminal negligence causing death and bodily harm.
00:16:39.000 So will a lot of people.
00:16:40.940 But back in December of 2021, it was questioned.
00:16:47.780 Detective Bruce was also questioning the fact that the police service, the Ottawa Police Service, was going to mandate the vaccine for all their personnel.
00:16:58.300 You want to keep your job?
00:17:00.680 You want to keep your mortgage?
00:17:02.160 You want to keep paying your mortgage?
00:17:03.460 Put food on the table?
00:17:05.300 You must be injected with this wonderful vaccine.
00:17:08.740 vaccine. So Detective Bruce asked questions, and she sent out an email to the chief and a lot of
00:17:15.680 other people. It was widely distributed. This is in, I think, November, October 2021. And she
00:17:23.600 asked questions like, are there any side effects? Is there any liability? If we get hurt taking
00:17:30.980 this, are we covered for the rest of our lives by the police force? Normal things that one might
00:17:37.000 ask what's in it what's in these injections and for that she was ostracized she was shut down
00:17:47.000 she was sent to another office far away from the main office she's a bad girl asking those
00:17:53.960 questions don't forget she was an award-winning detective but now that you're asking the wrong
00:17:59.400 questions they didn't even invite her to the christmas party so after 20 years and i'm sure
00:18:07.720 a lot of respect from many of the entire service right right but you know how canadians turned
00:18:14.220 against each other no different on the police service yeah so they made her work on christmas
00:18:19.440 eve get that a 20-year veteran has to work on christmas eve now i don't care if you're in a
00:18:26.380 factory in hamilton or you're in the school board or or or what you do for a living you're a radio
00:18:31.980 broadcaster seniority is home on christmas eve with their children and all the new the new young
00:18:40.700 guys and girls yeah you got to pay your dues and that means working christmas but no they made her
00:18:46.860 work christmas you see so was this a constructive dismissal type situation forming already do you
00:18:55.100 think? Well, she hadn't been dismissed yet. And I'll get to where she is now. But absolutely,
00:19:03.080 absolutely, they wanted her done. Because she was asking questions about their narrative.
00:19:11.220 And that theme runs through this whole case. They needed to do two things with Detective Bruce.
00:19:18.060 number one stop her investigation which they did and number two make an example of her so no other
00:19:25.980 police officer in canada would dare launch an investigation into what we all know could be
00:19:32.140 investigated so in january she uh she met with the chief a couple of times in december in january
00:19:40.900 and she informed the sergeant major of the police service
00:19:47.400 that she was doing this investigation.
00:19:49.960 And he gave testimony that it looked fine.
00:19:54.240 Everything was fine.
00:19:54.960 She was doing everything right.
00:19:56.600 He was a defense witness.
00:19:59.300 But on February 3rd, I think February 3rd or February 1st,
00:20:06.720 detective bruce was suspended for not taking the injections and for not saying whether she had
00:20:16.340 taken the injections or not she said that's my my bodily my medical records my bodily autonomy
00:20:23.320 i'm not telling you they suspended her without pay for that on the day before she oh i should
00:20:31.700 mentioned that during the month of January, he looked into the files in the system for the
00:20:42.140 suspicious infant deaths. Now, that's nothing. Everybody who's a police officer can look at any
00:20:51.300 file, any investigation, unless there's a hold on it or something. But you can do that. And we do
00:20:57.100 that so that police officers have the benefit of of knowing what's happening in their community
00:21:04.320 of being able to connect cases and just a few years prior detective goose had looked into the
00:21:11.040 records on her own initiative and she found an historic child rape case sexual assault
00:21:20.920 And she pursued that, and she arrested the perpetrator, saw it through, convicted him, and put him in jail.
00:21:31.100 That was on her own initiative, looking into the police files.
00:21:36.640 So this is normal.
00:21:39.900 Unless you're looking into the police files for evidence that contradicts the narrative that we're safe and effective.
00:21:48.100 And that's what happened.
00:21:50.920 So she started looking into the files, and she discovered that most of the cases of the sudden infant death were not investigated correctly.
00:21:58.920 Her own colleagues had not investigated, either through incompetence or laziness or whatever.
00:22:06.800 There are certain questions that have to be asked.
00:22:11.540 Look, I investigated infant deaths back in the 1980s when I was a detective back then.
00:22:17.580 And one of the questions, a series of questions you would naturally ask the parents is, was the child vaccinated?
00:22:26.840 What vaccines did they have?
00:22:28.920 When did they have it?
00:22:30.640 Have you been vaccinated?
00:22:32.380 What medicines are in the home?
00:22:35.180 You can just imagine.
00:22:36.760 It's like a homicide investigation.
00:22:38.740 You're dealing with grief-stricken parents.
00:22:41.660 And this is just the way it is.
00:22:43.520 And people understand that this must be done.
00:22:47.580 But in this case, many of the parents had not been asked by the investigating officer about vaccines.
00:22:57.980 And one of the prosecution witnesses testified that she didn't ask that question
00:23:04.780 because it might have upset the parents.
00:23:08.180 So in other words, there's been a homicide or an unexplained death,
00:23:14.340 And we're not going to ask the parents about the vaccine status of the baby and them.
00:23:22.300 Wow.
00:23:23.220 We also learned from the Pfizer documents that the vaccine and the spikes go through mother's milk into the baby.
00:23:34.660 I was about to ask that.
00:23:36.460 Was it was the case that these babies were I know they were recommending that babies get vaccinated,
00:23:42.200 but I'm not quite clear on my timelines.
00:23:45.040 And I'm wondering if these spikes got through to the babies from their mothers
00:23:49.920 or if they were vaccinated at birth.
00:23:53.000 The evidence that I heard, and I didn't hear all of it,
00:23:59.200 indicated that this was a breastfeeding situation.
00:24:02.320 Now babies are vaccinated when they're born.
00:24:05.480 There's all sorts of vaccines.
00:24:07.000 Did any of them get the COVID vaccine?
00:24:12.000 The answer is, I don't know.
00:24:13.740 I didn't hear evidence about that.
00:24:16.440 All medical evidence was disallowed by the adjudicator.
00:24:25.220 But that's the basis of the case.
00:24:28.140 Sorry, it's not relevant according to the judge.
00:24:32.620 It's not a judge.
00:24:33.460 His name is Chris Wemmerich.
00:24:36.560 he's a retired police superintendent from ottawa ottawa pays his bills i can tell you right now
00:24:43.820 he didn't write this judgment he did not write this judgment this verdict no way he's had no
00:24:51.480 legal training at all which bears the question who wrote the judgment i want to i want to i want to
00:24:57.920 get to that at the end of the tale all right all right so let's let's just you know what i could
00:25:04.180 go forever and we still wouldn't be we'd be here a week from now so i better speed it up okay sure
00:25:09.960 all right hey we're here on time your your timeline donald not mine i mean i could go
00:25:14.240 all night but i know you got a busy day so all right all right so um so detective gruce on january
00:25:22.860 30th phoned one of the parents one of the fathers who it wasn't asked it wasn't answered on the
00:25:32.260 form. The investigation was sloppy. It was not done. So she phoned the father up. She said,
00:25:37.480 look, can you tell me, has the mother been vaccinated? And by all accounts and the evidence,
00:25:43.680 the father was most happy to have a police officer call and ask him that question.
00:25:52.120 It came out later in evidence during the trial that no other police officer called,
00:25:58.320 not for months and asked that question so uh you know it was it was either with these other
00:26:06.020 officers i mean at this stage of the game helen has been ostracized not invited to the christmas
00:26:12.420 party uh had she been demoted yet no but her other fellow officers complained about her
00:26:21.340 they complained to professional standards and this is what started the investigation
00:26:26.640 so what i'm thinking about here is the reason these parents weren't contacted by other officers
00:26:32.720 could simply be that these officers did not want to pick up this investigation based on the fact
00:26:38.980 that i don't want to get helen grust right i don't want to be treated like that i've got a
00:26:44.860 i don't know the the the evidence didn't come out like that the the the the evidence very much came
00:26:54.540 out that uh they they thought they had done a good job and uh they were they were um i think
00:27:03.500 they were embarrassed and insulted that detective groups would look at their work and discover that
00:27:08.880 it wasn't very good so they complained to the boss this is jealousy this is this is jealousy
00:27:16.620 and this is also she's already ostracized and we've had enough so they complained an investigation 0.97
00:27:23.780 was started meanwhile she's suspended for not having uh the shot or refusing to say if she
00:27:29.360 has the shot the day after she's suspended for that she's suspended now with pay because she's
00:27:38.400 under investigation for disobeying an order and discreditable conduct okay disobeying an order
00:27:45.880 and discreditable conduct she's under investigation for that because somebody complained
00:27:50.900 so that's what happened and then there was an investigation started
00:27:58.080 but on february 18th 2022
00:28:04.140 the police service secretly and illegally wiretapped detective bruce and her family
00:28:14.200 and her family
00:28:16.060 okay
00:28:18.220 and that was done under the emergency
00:28:20.520 anti-terrorist
00:28:22.560 provisions
00:28:24.360 of the criminal code
00:28:26.040 what
00:28:28.220 you heard
00:28:29.680 they tried to classify
00:28:32.460 her as a terrorist 0.99
00:28:33.900 they did 1.00
00:28:35.680 when they got that wiretap against her
00:28:38.480 how about that
00:28:41.480 I'm blown away by that
00:28:43.480 They also did it knowing that they would have to notify her that between this date and that date, you were wiretapped.
00:28:52.920 And wiretapping doesn't just mean listening in on your phone, okay?
00:28:57.160 It means all your emails.
00:28:58.720 It means your texts.
00:29:01.260 They can turn on your phone while it's beside your bed.
00:29:04.900 They can do everything they want.
00:29:07.680 I worked wiretaps for years.
00:29:10.440 And that was with the old technology.
00:29:13.480 Now, oh, my goodness.
00:29:16.080 So she knows that her son's conversations with her girlfriends were overheard,
00:29:23.340 that her husband's business, that maybe her mother said something
00:29:29.140 and disclosed something to some friend.
00:29:31.420 Who knows?
00:29:33.440 Who knows? 0.99
00:29:35.100 But they did that to her.
00:29:36.240 And they did that to her because they knew they would have to notify her.
00:29:40.180 So it became a punishment.
00:29:42.320 it became an abusive factor so here here you go and when she got that you can imagine how she felt
00:29:52.820 knowing that her comrades had wiretapped her and worse wiretapped her family it was just terrorism
00:30:02.800 against her punishment what i'm trying to wrap my head around here is the fact that
00:30:09.520 helen was investigating properly as a police officer she did nothing wrong yeah no this is
00:30:19.460 what she's supposed to be doing the police in order to i don't know protect themselves somehow 0.96
00:30:26.460 or their corruption illegally wiretapped her and helen and her family and classified her as a 0.99
00:30:35.540 terrorist to make that happen that's what they did it was under the provision who knows what
00:30:41.100 they told the judge and we're i think other people are trying to find out the lawyers are trying to
00:30:46.640 find out but that's what happened and then came march now you understand every investigation has
00:30:55.900 a plan, especially an investigation that's internal, that's against another police officer.
00:31:02.220 You don't just walk out the door and start doing things. There's a plan. And at the end of the plan,
00:31:08.440 you would go to your last witnesses, the ones that you don't want to pollute.
00:31:15.700 And that would have been the parents. So the plan, the investigative plan,
00:31:20.060 for whoever was the professional standards, and we know who it was,
00:31:26.160 there would be a plan.
00:31:27.300 First, they seized Detective Groose's computers, her phone.
00:31:31.100 They searched her desk.
00:31:32.380 They searched her locker.
00:31:34.260 They even came to her home and delivered her a notice.
00:31:37.580 So these are things that are done when you investigate police officers,
00:31:41.360 and I have investigated police officers.
00:31:43.180 I've executed search warrants against their home,
00:31:45.740 and I've arrested them, unfortunately, even at their home.
00:31:50.060 in front of their family so i know how this is done so in any event let me let me stop you there
00:31:58.780 for a second as a veteran uh police officer when you're going to investigate another officer
00:32:04.400 it's got to be difficult i understand but you're going there based upon evidence correct
00:32:10.740 and the evidence that you see in order to bring you to that situation has got to be very convincing
00:32:19.340 i'm assuming before you can ever get to that stage but maybe maybe maybe maybe not i mean
00:32:25.960 every investigation starts with a question hey it's 3 a.m on a sunday morning
00:32:32.760 why is that barbershop open in the alley people are going in and out the back back alley i mean
00:32:40.620 that's just a question i've got no evidence there all i see is people going in and out of a
00:32:45.940 barbershop at 3 a.m. What are they doing? Yeah, but when we're talking about an investigation
00:32:51.620 where you're going and seizing property and arresting an officer at his home, the investigation
00:32:56.140 is advanced to that stage of the game, right? So you've obviously picked up some pieces of
00:33:01.240 evidence along the way that are pretty damning. Well, first of all, what you do is you seize all
00:33:06.740 the records. Everything that needs to be preserved, you would do that. And they did that,
00:33:12.480 okay and that's that's pretty standard there's an allegation so they just did that they have the
00:33:18.380 right now they didn't arrest her but they did suspend her they took her badge her gun
00:33:23.720 you know all the rest of that okay yeah but it was because of what this is all about
00:33:30.440 i mean you can be under investigation for for something and they won't suspend you they won't
00:33:36.280 take your badge they won't take your gun but for this they did okay because she's she's a
00:33:41.800 troublemaker asking questions wrong dishonorable conduct and disobeying an order leading to having
00:33:49.520 all of her computers phones gun badge all of that taken away seems a little bit excessive
00:33:55.640 and you would think the officers executing these orders would understand that hey they're the same
00:34:03.080 guys who put the wiretap on okay so don't talk about excessive no no just see this seems so
00:34:08.980 corrupt me i'm i'm sorry it is corrupt yeah and the punishment is the process yeah but what they
00:34:15.540 did by suspending her was they shut down her investigation they shut down a police officer's
00:34:23.840 investigation she gave testimony later she was looking into criminal negligence causing death
00:34:29.640 and bodily harm. That's what she was doing because of the vaccines. So the investigation 1.00
00:34:38.800 would have progressed. It would have taken several months, except for this. Some of her
00:34:44.900 fellow officers who didn't like her decided that they'd phone up the CBC. They spoke to
00:34:53.620 a reporter, Shamini Yulgaretnam, and they illegally, criminally, gave her inside secret
00:35:04.700 information about the families, about the investigation of Detective Goose, and about
00:35:09.880 what she was supposed to have done, or alleged to have done. Disobeyed an order. Well, it turned
00:35:17.700 out that there was no order prohibiting her from doing that, so that was dropped eventually,
00:35:22.380 that charge there was no order but in any event the cbc shimini yogaratnam and the cbc
00:35:31.820 came to the ottawa police after these two police officers criminally and we don't know their names
00:35:39.020 i'll tell you about that later we don't know who they were but they came and they criminally gave
00:35:44.940 this information to the cbc this this ongoing investigation families all that information
00:35:54.460 cbc came to the uh ottawa police and said we know all about it we're giving you 24 hours
00:36:05.420 to contact the parents do they know about it we'll give you 24 hours so the cbc
00:36:12.220 took operational control of the investigation you understand there was a plan way things were
00:36:19.540 going down cbc came in and said no no no have you told the parents yet well you've got 24 hours
00:36:27.020 have you told the parents that helen's under investigation yeah yeah yeah have you told the
00:36:33.080 parents that uh their privacy was violated it wasn't no because as you pointed out earlier
00:36:40.440 and it was i think brought out in the tribunal that these parents were happy to talk to a police
00:36:46.680 officer regarding what could possibly have happened to their child two of the families
00:36:51.960 testified in detective gruce's defense yeah okay so here we are the cbc is running the operational
00:37:05.080 investigation so it hit the papers in the typical cbc style it was all one-sided they called
00:37:14.640 detective bruce rogue said she was doing a went rogue did a rogue investigation and it was all
00:37:21.960 disinformation was sourced from these nattering comrades of hers who who disliked her
00:37:35.080 Criminals, Donald.
00:37:37.000 Criminals.
00:37:37.360 Oh, yes.
00:37:38.320 Well, let me tell you, Detective Groose demanded of professional standards and the chief that professional standards launch an investigation to determine who those officers were that broke the law.
00:37:54.100 That spread it all over the news so that the parents now did know.
00:37:58.340 And if they were upset, they would have been upset.
00:38:01.080 And one of them was.
00:38:01.760 and and detective groups demanded an investigation and professional standards they could have seized
00:38:11.520 phones they could have looked at phone records they could have done all the rest of that
00:38:15.240 but they said no and they did not do an investigation when you request an investigation
00:38:23.940 from professional standards and they tell you no do they have to provide a reason or
00:38:30.280 can they just say no that's i'm sorry that's what we're doing we're talking about rogue officers
00:38:36.520 we're talking about officers who failed in their duty to investigate infant deaths
00:38:45.420 so they just did what they want we're painting a pretty awful picture of
00:38:52.840 the ottawa police service here donald it is pretty awful it is pretty awful absolutely
00:38:59.220 And so, you know, people want to have faith in their police officers.
00:39:05.320 They want to be able to trust these folks to do the right thing.
00:39:10.040 We understand, of course, they're human beings and everybody makes mistakes.
00:39:13.660 But ultimately, we must hold police to a higher standard and they must act on that higher standard.
00:39:21.640 And when we hear stories like this, it really deflates.
00:39:25.680 I mean, this is going to the entire notion
00:39:28.960 that Canadians are feeling right now
00:39:31.140 that our institutions are broken
00:39:33.080 from municipal to provincial to federal.
00:39:38.840 And it continues.
00:39:40.620 They just keep doing it, which saddens me.
00:39:46.280 So my investigation showed
00:39:48.260 that the public personnel
00:39:51.900 from the Public Health Agency of Canada
00:39:54.180 interfered with and influenced the police investigation
00:39:59.460 into Detective Hellegruce from March 2022.
00:40:06.700 Now, I know that Brett Sears has requested
00:40:11.120 and finally gotten a lot of Teresa Tam's emails
00:40:14.860 from the Public Health Agency of Canada,
00:40:17.020 and I know that you found something in the first week
00:40:19.880 that they were released regarding Inuit babies
00:40:22.780 being vaccinated against their parents will or not even informed by any of this with some
00:40:28.160 experimental vaccine so congratulations on that that was great work that you did
00:40:32.220 have you found anything regarding uh helen gruce in any of these communications so far
00:40:39.880 not yet but we're only 2019 and in this year's documents uh so so and there's so many pages
00:40:48.740 we'll see what's coming yeah i'm it was 450 000 pages is what they've promised him we've only
00:40:55.000 he only has uh 18 18 so far that have been released that's insane so you you are are you
00:41:04.680 sure that there was influence from p hack over the ottawa police or is this just speculation
00:41:10.480 at this stage of the game as you continue to look for more evidence
00:41:13.320 i spoke with both of them i recorded the conversations it's all on the web on on my
00:41:24.720 website it's very very sad here's the situation during one of helen's that gruce's uh court
00:41:34.640 appearances tribunal appearances it was televised over the net and um i saw that a doctor from the
00:41:44.700 public health agency of canada was monitoring the detective bruce trial i thought that's very funny
00:41:50.460 so i phoned her up she said she was doing it for a personal reason even though it was on duty
00:41:57.660 and it said Public Health Agency of Canada
00:42:00.520 so she did it on her account
00:42:02.140 and so I hung up, thanked her
00:42:07.680 told her what I was doing, thanked her
00:42:09.560 and then immediately I got a call from a lawyer
00:42:12.980 and it turns out
00:42:15.860 that the lawyer who called me
00:42:18.760 is a mother to one of the dead babies
00:42:22.720 and it turns out
00:42:25.620 that she was fully vaccinated and breastfed her baby.
00:42:33.240 And her mother, the grandmother that I spoke to,
00:42:36.780 the Public Health Agency of Canada employee,
00:42:41.020 is one of those who are on the team of mandating the vaccines.
00:42:47.700 What a tragedy.
00:42:49.100 So we have a situation where the grandmother
00:42:51.980 was one of those working to mandate the vaccine and approve it.
00:42:58.280 And the daughter took it and breastfed her baby, and the baby died.
00:43:05.860 And to this day, there's no explanation.
00:43:11.320 So they started interfering with the investigation in March
00:43:17.780 when the CBC article started appearing.
00:43:21.980 so i mean it's just just a tragic story all the way around
00:43:26.800 how long did this tribunal last two and a half years off and on for two and a half years 0.89
00:43:35.580 right but a total of i think 35 38 days unbelievable which i've seen homo i've seen 0.51
00:43:42.760 homicide files you know go seven days i mean this thing went over a month of appearances 0.72
00:43:49.600 so as you say the penalty is or the punishment is the uh process detective gruce has paid i
00:43:57.760 understand over four hundred thousand dollars in legal fees her union refused to pay her legal
00:44:03.060 fees even though they have paid the legal fees for cops who have been charged on duty with rape
00:44:08.280 and taking bribes but the union also was for the mandating of the injections and there might be
00:44:15.500 some liability there public now is helen am i correct in assuming that helen is suing the cbc
00:44:22.260 right now and ottawa police for uh what those two police officers did in terms of releasing
00:44:28.520 the information the way they did i'm not sure about the ottawa police i believe there is a
00:44:34.020 lawsuit going right now uh for cbc um there's so much more to tell about this story so much more
00:44:41.400 um the the whole trial was a sham it was just an absolute sham a kangaroo court the
00:44:51.400 the superintendent chris renwick who who was the adjudicator the hearing officer whatever you want
00:44:58.320 to call him of the tribunal has no legal training right and the courts have held that whatever
00:45:07.080 tribunals do they can pretty well do it they can make up their own rules so he excluded
00:45:13.500 refused to allow detective groups five expert defense witnesses three of whom were doctors
00:45:20.800 were who were whose testimony was what thank god she did what she did and that she was that it was
00:45:29.300 necessary and uh another expert witness was a lawyer sean buckley you might know him
00:45:37.700 about the law in regards to all this and then another expert witness was the staff sergeant
00:45:43.880 the uh ottawa police sergeant major who was in charge of ethics and his testimony was that
00:45:52.560 as an expert would have been she did everything ethically correctly and broke no laws
00:45:58.220 they disallowed all that they wouldn't allow her to see her january 30th 2022 memo book
00:46:07.360 that she wrote they wouldn't allow her to see it yeah i mean are you do they still have her
00:46:16.840 computers and and her phones and all of that is it still they suspended her uh in in february of
00:46:25.360 2022. And I have some pretty good sources. And in August, I heard that they were going to
00:46:31.980 reinstate her in active duty, transfer her to another squad. And so, yes, I think in October
00:46:39.340 and November of 2022, still facing the charge, but she's just a darn good detective. So she's
00:46:47.240 now at robbery. And she's been working there since the fall of 2022 at robbery. And
00:46:54.800 and that's a top-notch squad only the best get in there and and there she is because she's just a
00:47:00.880 great detective so anyway is she still being ostracized and treated poorly or is that all
00:47:12.320 water under the bridge now well she's not allowed to have anything to do under the terms of some
00:47:19.440 agreement with her lawyer, not allowed to have anything to do with any sexual assault
00:47:25.180 cases or anything to do with her old squad, SACA.
00:47:31.340 So she's now working and doing fine, but the trial continued and it was just full of bias.
00:47:44.080 the prosecutor
00:47:47.040 at the time
00:47:49.020 there have been three prosecutors 0.99
00:47:51.440 Vanessa Stewart was 1.00
00:47:53.300 the middle 0.99
00:47:55.580 prosecutor we'll call her 1.00
00:47:56.860 she was taken off the case last
00:47:58.620 December I understand that she was
00:48:01.180 dismissed from the
00:48:02.180 or asked to leave or however you want to put it
00:48:05.500 from the Ottawa Police Legal Department
00:48:07.600 anyway
00:48:09.160 she was the prosecutor
00:48:11.340 on the case
00:48:12.340 but her sister-in-law was one of the prosecution witnesses now if you know anything about court
00:48:21.380 this just is not allowed but the tribunal allowed it the tribunal officer allowed it
00:48:30.340 then we had a situation where in january of 2024 during the hearing
00:48:38.020 the head of professional standards inspector o'toole 1.00
00:48:44.980 criminally threatened detective bruce sent an email what an idiot that's an email to her 0.99
00:48:55.760 saying that she testified she was going to be in big trouble if she brought in these exhibits 1.00
00:49:03.520 Exhibit one, exhibit two, whatever.
00:49:05.940 Well, you know, there's a section in the criminal code
00:49:08.320 called intimidation of a witness, threatening a witness.
00:49:14.360 The sense of entitlement, the lawlessness,
00:49:21.480 the spitting on the rule of law of this man.
00:49:27.780 So what happened?
00:49:29.420 Well, there was a big kerfuffle in court.
00:49:31.780 detective goose's legal team walked out to make a criminal complaint at the front desk of the
00:49:37.880 police station where the tribunal was being held it was there was yelling and screaming by the
00:49:44.340 prosecutor it was absolute insanity and kangaroo court you you're in yeah inspector o'toole
00:49:54.340 resigned my inside information is he was given a choice resign or resign
00:50:01.340 and he's now a lawyer practicing near canada ontario how how you know i mean can't make this
00:50:11.800 stuff up you know when it comes to uh laying a charge i mean have the police laid a charge
00:50:19.800 against him oh gosh no they just they just dismissed him come on he he did a criminal
00:50:29.040 offense in writing he threatened a witness in writing and no no he was just allowed to resign
00:50:38.160 my god so she's found guilty this morning i'm sorry was there more because i know that your
00:50:47.120 time is is growing short oh all right we better get look i i could go on all day about the kangaroo
00:50:53.740 court and the nature of of this about witnesses getting caught lying on the stand lying about uh
00:51:01.340 no disc no disclosure uh that detective gruce has been in your legal team have been fighting
00:51:08.420 this with one hand tied behind their back because of no disclosure
00:51:11.660 over four hundred thousand dollars in legal fees the punishment is the process
00:51:20.660 right they're going to bankrupt her they're going to destroy her and uh this is what they want they
00:51:27.200 want they want it as a lesson to her and they want it as a lesson to all the police officers
00:51:32.300 in canada big pharma is gonna get you yeah and that's what this is all about so we have the
00:51:39.640 the uh the so-called decision and uh it's available on the ottawa police website you
00:51:47.680 can get to it through my x account and several others uh you know it's right at the top right
00:51:53.120 now and you can download it yourself it's uh 34 pages and once again i can tell you
00:51:58.740 that uh the hearing officer chris renwick there's no way he wrote this
00:52:04.900 no way i know who wrote it the ottawa police prosecuting prosecuting team
00:52:11.040 the ones who were the ones who were prosecuting detective bruce in the first place they sure
00:52:16.940 now that that's a guess on my part yeah but i don't think i'm too far wrong and you know
00:52:23.000 i wonder does mr remwick have a budget to hire independent legal counsel
00:52:28.960 because if he doesn't and he can't show who who he had to advise him on this thing there is
00:52:38.180 absolutely no way he wrote this and that's true of of a lot of the decisions that came out during
00:52:44.700 the trial that he reportedly wrote um there's no way he wrote these things so what's no way at all
00:52:52.260 what's the remedy i mean if he didn't write this decision and let's say the ottawa police
00:52:58.440 prosecution team did as you suggest then what can helen do aside from an appeal and i imagine the
00:53:05.000 next step is for helen to go to actual court or is there another kangaroo court yet to come well
00:53:12.320 here we go right in the middle of all this they changed the ontario police services act
00:53:17.040 and they they changed it to uh uh they call it uh something else now uh the ontario community
00:53:24.880 Safety and Policing Act. And that came into force on April 1st, 2024. Now there's a transition
00:53:32.620 period and there's some transition legislation in there, some rules and some regulations. And
00:53:41.260 I read it this morning and I have no idea where Detective Goose has to appeal. If it's under the
00:53:49.940 old way she has to appeal to the ontario civilian police commission and only that after that can she
00:53:57.520 get to a real court what's the ontario civilian police commission what's that okay well it's
00:54:06.540 like isn't that kind of an oxymoron but the civilian police it's what it's it's a tribunal
00:54:12.380 put in place to handle the police tribunals as an appeal mechanism okay let's i mean
00:54:20.060 you know if you're charged and you want to appeal this is going to cost you
00:54:24.020 so if it's the old way then she'll have to during this transition period because her charge was
00:54:32.200 laid before the new police act was was put in place then she'll have to go there before she
00:54:38.040 can go to divisional court now i'm look i'm no lawyer um as a matter of fact i'm really lousy
00:54:44.360 legal counsel okay so don't believe anything i say uh don't act on it but it looks to me
00:54:51.540 like if it's under the new system she would go directly to uh divisional court but either way
00:54:58.900 she's got 30 days to file an appeal and that clock is running right now there's lots to appeal
00:55:07.020 lots to appeal I mean Bathsheba look if I needed a lawyer to defend me for anything
00:55:13.480 Bathsheba Vandenberg I'd be honored to have her defend me she she's so knowledgeable
00:55:21.940 she doesn't back down and I mean it got to the point where you just said
00:55:27.240 all right let's just move on with this that's appealable sir you know Mr. Mr. and and the
00:55:36.920 list i don't know it must be 20 30 40 items right now uh this whole thing to appeal them all this
00:55:43.860 could go on for the rest of our lives for goodness sakes but the real reason and let me get to the
00:55:52.940 heart of the thing yes the heart of the thing is that um in this decision we have the tribunal
00:56:03.720 officer, repeating something that was said by the prosecutor during the closing arguments.
00:56:11.980 And it was this, that police officers should get permission to investigate public officials
00:56:26.120 and politicians before initiating an investigation.
00:56:33.720 so again we go permission from who their immediate supervisor or do they have to go right up the
00:56:41.440 chain is it something that could take weeks to get permission to investigate in which case the
00:56:46.340 evidence that you were looking at might be long gone i mean what is yeah yeah yeah and this is
00:56:55.680 what they said because it was i forget the exact words but it was like politically sensitive
00:57:00.100 really but it should have nothing to do with politics that's oh you want rule of law sir
00:57:08.120 where everybody's treated equally rule of law is long dead in this country and you know that shadow
00:57:14.500 rule of law is long dead in this country it's now um one thing that i mean this
00:57:25.380 destroys 150 years of policing law, independence. We made police officers not unaccountable,
00:57:38.980 by no means. There's all sorts of accountability structures in place. But we gave our police
00:57:45.560 officers great autonomy to act as they see fit according to their oath, according to the laws
00:57:53.900 they understand it and their rules and regulations and we do that because everybody wants to control
00:58:01.060 the police when i was a copper we had politicians coming to the chief saying leave that bar alone
00:58:08.940 don't raid that ship you know uh can you do a favor i know the guy's been arrested three times
00:58:17.300 for drunk driving but he's a good guy and he contributes to the widows and orphans funds
00:58:22.360 and you have to stand up when you're a police officer and you have to have integrity and you
00:58:28.440 have to have courage to stand there as uh my squad leader did uh and i told about this when i
00:58:35.420 testified at the at the national citizens inquiry uh staff sergeant harry darcy he stood up to the
00:58:41.480 chief who wanted him to leave an investigation uh to not uh investigate a certain cruise ship
00:58:51.100 in the harbor that was owned by an NDP member of provincial parliament in LA. And Harry told
00:58:58.180 the chief of police, look, sir, you can transfer me. You can fire me. But the one thing you can't
00:59:07.040 do is order me to not continue my criminal investigation. But now that's all changed.
00:59:15.580 yeah this is corruption versus integrity and let me tell you that it's now been codified
00:59:22.160 what happened in the detective goose case where where she stepped on political toes and we now
00:59:30.340 have in a judgment i mean there's not a more damning corrupt document that i've seen in a
00:59:37.060 long time than this judgment i want everybody to go in and read it themselves download it and read
00:59:43.040 it themselves. It basically says that unauthorized criminal negligence inquiries on public officials
00:59:53.220 were being undertaken by a criminal investigator, Detective Bruce. Unauthorized. She should have
01:00:01.020 asked for permission. What public officials was she investigating? She was investigating the death
01:00:07.800 the babies where did the public officials come into it well how about the ones that approved the
01:00:13.480 vaccine how about the ones that knew that knew that uh babies had died and had been injured
01:00:23.600 breastfeeding during the during the trials how about those public officials they knew
01:00:30.800 how about the doctors
01:00:32.660 who knew all that
01:00:34.520 but were getting $50 a
01:00:37.060 shot for everything they
01:00:38.500 pumped into and they held
01:00:40.420 clinics, mass clinics on the
01:00:43.080 street in Ottawa and
01:00:44.840 vaccinated a thousand people
01:00:46.880 in a weekend, $50 a shot
01:00:49.140 how about that?
01:00:50.780 $250 if you held it in a parking lot
01:00:52.760 if you went off site it was more
01:00:54.660 wow, and there you go
01:00:56.480 they knew from the top down, Donald
01:00:58.800 you know what, I know it's an hour dude
01:01:00.440 let me tell you okay let me give you the last bit here because this is the most shocking of all
01:01:08.000 what was done to detective groups was done in a a legal environment where there was absolutely
01:01:15.980 no law and no requirement and no order requiring any police officer to get permission for any
01:01:23.100 investigation. And that's the way we set it up. But on April 1st, 2024, Ontario published Ontario
01:01:35.220 Regulation 395-23, made under the Ontario Community Safety and Policing Act. And it now
01:01:45.080 requires police, listen to this, to obtain permission before launching any criminal
01:01:53.060 investigation. Now, if they come across something, they can, of course, arrest, do whatever. But at
01:02:01.700 the first available opportunity, you have to notify a supervisor. You must get permission
01:02:05.840 to keep it going. That's codified now. And what it means is we have operational control of
01:02:14.480 individual police officers, their discretion taken away from them, and it means that we've put a
01:02:21.480 political layer on policing. No longer can a police officer drive down the street and say,
01:02:28.580 hey, 3 a.m., that barbershop's open. Park his car, get out a pair of binoculars, and see people
01:02:37.460 going in and out with drugs or stolen goods or whatever.
01:02:43.080 Now they have to get permission.
01:02:45.780 And maybe that barbershop is owned by the inspector's brother.
01:02:49.100 Who knows?
01:02:50.260 You see the problems here?
01:02:51.620 When you take the initiative away and you don't allow police officers
01:02:58.760 to fulfill their duty.
01:03:00.080 This is a huge change in Canadian policing in 150 years,
01:03:05.260 and it's layer after layer of corruption
01:03:08.860 and political interference with the police.
01:03:11.780 What do you think will be the results of this new directive?
01:03:18.920 Corruption.
01:03:20.240 More corruption.
01:03:21.180 It always is. 0.75
01:03:23.260 It's the way it is in India and throughout much of Asia.
01:03:26.680 And Mexico, oh my goodness, I've worked in Mexico.
01:03:30.120 I've worked in Central America and throughout the States 1.00
01:03:32.920 and uh in asia and such corruption uh you just wouldn't you just wouldn't believe it 1.00
01:03:43.480 that a police officer before he could arrest an important person in town must seek permission
01:03:51.660 to do that before he can even investigate he might be told no or she might be told no
01:03:58.080 what's your x handle donald say again what's your x handle donald best ca that's the website what
01:04:07.280 about x x is donald best ca the website is donald best dot ca there you go thank you for coming on
01:04:16.400 the show tonight my friend really appreciate it have a great day well thanks it's an honor and
01:04:21.460 this should be
01:04:24.020 an issue during this federal election
01:04:26.240 this is such a massive
01:04:28.320 change in the way
01:04:30.380 we do policing and such
01:04:32.140 incredible corruption in the detective
01:04:34.400 Helen Gruth story
01:04:35.480 that truly I wish people
01:04:38.220 would ask the candidates
01:04:40.000 about this story become familiar
01:04:42.500 with it and ask them
01:04:44.040 maybe
01:04:45.460 we should do a part two at some point
01:04:48.260 in the next week or so if you have some free time
01:04:50.140 I'd love to have you back on to fill up the holes
01:04:52.020 because we did have to rush a little bit today.
01:04:54.920 Well, that'd be great.
01:04:56.320 And thank you so much for telling the Detective Bruce story
01:05:00.560 and the fact that it is the most important story
01:05:04.660 in Canadian policing in 150 years.
01:05:08.560 Thank you, sir.
01:05:09.660 Have a great day.
01:05:10.460 We'll talk to you again.
01:05:20.140 welcome back we have some news we have to cover there is an election campaign going on and one
01:05:49.500 more time i would like to thank donald best anti-corruption advocate former uh toronto
01:05:55.120 undercover police officer for coming on the show tonight and hopefully we can get him back at some
01:05:59.220 point in the next week to to fill in the gaps uh and and talk more about this particular situation
01:06:04.920 and other situations that he's been involved in and uh is possibly working on so this story let
01:06:12.040 me just throw this up on the screen here uh was was hilarious and the reason for the hilarity of
01:06:17.780 this story is mark carney trying to smear pierre paliev mark carney not being a politician
01:06:26.440 doesn't do it right he does it wrong he was being asked questions this morning about uh paliev not
01:06:35.560 having his security clearance somehow that's making a comeback and then uh carney made remarks
01:06:41.120 regarding the Globe and Mail smear campaign regarding Indian interference
01:06:46.300 into the Conservative Party of Canada's leadership contest a couple of years ago.
01:06:51.680 Now, let's remember that this story they've had for two years, for two years,
01:07:00.440 and only today did the Globe and Mail decide to put it out.
01:07:04.600 Now, I'm going to throw this up, you guys, and then I'm going to explain why.
01:07:08.180 And some of you may or may not trust the Globe and Mail, but you shouldn't, because I'm going to explain it in just a second.
01:07:16.120 From the National Post, from Carson Jarima, the Globe's India story smears Paliyev with Carney talking points.
01:07:25.220 So, it's not based in any fact.
01:07:29.080 It's based upon what Mark Carney said.
01:07:32.620 Well, there goes the Globe and Mail.
01:07:34.200 one of the few outlets in the country that hadn't been entirely captured by the liberals
01:07:38.720 gifted them with a smear of conservative leader pierre paliev this morning the story headlined
01:07:45.980 ceases alleges india organized support for paliev's 2022 conservative leadership bid contains almost
01:07:51.960 no new information at best 100 new words out of 1100 delivered on the third day of the election
01:07:59.720 campaign and laced with liberal talking points about polyev's security clearance nothing about
01:08:06.360 it smells right the globe sourced its story not to someone within cesis but merely to a source
01:08:13.420 with top secret clearance that means it could have been someone from cesis but it could have
01:08:18.440 also been a member of the cross-party national security and intelligence committee of parliamentarians
01:08:23.620 or it could have been a member of the prime minister's office or it could have been a cabinet
01:08:28.040 minister with the requisite clearance or even the prime minister it reads like a planted story
01:08:34.700 released for maximum political benefit for mark carney's liberals now this is very interesting
01:08:41.660 because pierre poly have held a press conference this morning where he was talking about further
01:08:45.800 tax cuts and more removal of the gst on homes now up to 1.3 million dollars but this was the first
01:08:53.440 question that polyev was asked this morning after making his new campaign
01:08:58.960 promises and he was ready for it watch this on that well first of all let's
01:09:06.200 look let's quote from that Globe and Mail article in a quote here CESIS also
01:09:09.760 did not have have evidence that mr. Polyev or members of his inner circle
01:09:13.840 were aware of these alleged at these alleged actions then I'm going to quote
01:09:18.760 the Hogue Commission and I quote the Commission heard testimony about
01:09:22.060 allegations of the government India interference in the Conservative Party leadership race.
01:09:28.800 CSIS witnesses noted that they had no reason to believe the impacted candidates would have
01:09:34.920 been aware of the alleged support. Let's be honest. I won the leadership fair and square.
01:09:39.740 Even my political competitors like Mr. Patrick Brown have publicly testified under oath that
01:09:45.300 that was the case but i'm glad that the liberals put this attack out today really glad because
01:09:53.940 there's something that's really been worrying me after justin trudeau named mark carney his
01:10:01.100 economic advisor giving him massive power over public policy in canada mr carney went over for
01:10:08.080 meetings in Beijing where he just had secret talks with the deputy governor of the Chinese
01:10:16.340 Central Bank. Two weeks later, Brookfield got a quarter billion dollar loan.
01:10:25.280 What did they talk about? What did Mr. Carney in his role as Trudeau's economic advisor offer
01:10:32.040 of China? Why would he be having secret meetings with top government-controlled bankers
01:10:39.100 about getting a quarter-billion dollar loan while he was supposed to be acting in Canada's
01:10:44.220 interest as the Prime Minister's economic advisor? Why would he be collaborating with
01:10:50.720 a hostile foreign regime that we have since learned executed for Canadians and took numerous
01:10:56.700 canadians hostage for a lengthy period of time and given that mr kearney knows that he still owns
01:11:07.420 massive financial interests in brookfield which owes a quarter billion dollars to a chinese state
01:11:15.660 controlled bank how do we know he's not going to act against our interests in favor of his financial
01:11:22.460 interests why didn't he stand in front of this microphone and confess to canadians that he owes
01:11:29.500 the chinese government that kind of money is this why he's covering up his financial interests 0.87
01:11:36.140 and given that china has has murdered our people taken our people hostage 0.90
01:11:42.780 how is he ever going to stand up to foreign interference when he is so financial financially 0.60
01:11:47.980 compromised we have never in our history had a weak out of touch leader so terribly compromised
01:11:58.220 and conflicted whose interests go against our national interests and i call on mr carney
01:12:05.820 right now to come before a microphone today and explain if this loan is still in place
01:12:11.580 and if he still has those brookfield assets that he had up until a few weeks ago because we cannot
01:12:17.740 to trust someone some could you imagine while you're supposed to be advising canada's prime
01:12:23.420 minister on the well-being of our economy going to a foreign regime that had executed canadian
01:12:30.940 citizens taking canadians hostage that we had it had already been public that they had interfered
01:12:37.580 in multiple elections they've done incursions into our northern waters mark carney will never
01:12:45.420 be able to protect our national interests because he has massive financial conflicts of interest
01:12:51.940 overseas. What we need now is not to give the Liberals a fourth term with a weak and compromised
01:12:57.720 leader. What we need is a prime minister who will put Canada first for a change.
01:13:04.700 All right. All right. All right. So let me show you something here. I think I showed you guys
01:13:08.200 this before, but I'm going to show you again. We go to the bureau, the bureau.news. That's Sam
01:13:13.400 cooper's thing and he does such incredible reporting on all of this foreign interference
01:13:17.680 that's been happening in canada it goes back years the headline on this particular story which
01:13:22.440 uh from a couple of weeks ago brookfield's deep ties to chinese lands loans and green deals and
01:13:29.920 a real estate tycoon with ccp links raise questions as carney takes over from trudeau
01:13:35.740 this photo right here is from may of last year before mark carney was essentially
01:13:43.000 anything well no that's not true he was the ceo of brookfield at the time he was also the u.n
01:13:49.660 special climate envoy and what else was he oh yeah he was the financial advisor for justin
01:13:58.360 Trudeau and the liberals and here is Mark Carney standing with all of these people here in China
01:14:06.300 just last May including Xi Jinping right here he wasn't the prime minister Carney he was nothing
01:14:16.260 like I say he had no standing really to be meeting with these people unless of course
01:14:22.680 Paulieff is right, and Brookfield does owe China $250 million, or maybe it's more.
01:14:29.200 Why won't Mark Carney disclose his financials?
01:14:31.800 Well, they're in a blind trust now.
01:14:33.400 I can't get my hands on them.
01:14:34.940 That doesn't matter.
01:14:36.420 You knew what they were before they went into the blind trust.
01:14:39.760 Why don't you tell us what they are?
01:14:41.740 How much are you worth?
01:14:43.120 Where does your wealth come from, Mr. Carney?
01:14:46.540 Well, I'm following the rules set out by the commissioner,
01:14:49.620 and I will continue to follow the rules
01:14:51.540 as set out by the commissioner.
01:14:53.080 All right, so maybe you're following the rules
01:14:54.740 technically speaking, 0.98
01:14:56.140 but visually, this really sucks. 0.97
01:15:00.780 This guy could be caught, 0.97
01:15:02.300 is, in my opinion, compromised by China, 0.97
01:15:05.360 the World Economic Forum,
01:15:07.600 and he is a step away
01:15:11.860 from being the prime minister of this country.
01:15:13.960 How on earth could this happen?
01:15:19.620 And why won't this close?
01:15:21.260 Oh, because it's over here.
01:15:25.560 In the meantime, I just closed out a couple of stories that I wanted.
01:15:28.700 Hey, listen, if you're in the Winnipeg area and you want to go to a Canada First Rally with Pierre Polyev Saturday, this coming Saturday at 1821 Wellington Avenue.
01:15:37.760 What is that?
01:15:38.300 Is that a hotel by the airport?
01:15:40.240 Doors open at 3 o'clock.
01:15:41.520 So this coming Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, 1821 Wellington Avenue.
01:15:48.100 you yeah it's a hotel by the airport hang on you guys let me see if i can find the stories oof
01:15:52.740 let me see if i can find the stories that i wanted to bring to your attention they come from andy lee
01:15:57.220 and andy points out
01:16:01.240 the ties between the century initiative and the globe and mail so remember that national post
01:16:09.820 story that said the globe and mail was one of the only corporate medias that wasn't captured
01:16:17.240 by the liberal party
01:16:19.140 and now they are?
01:16:20.760 Well, the cent...
01:16:21.500 Hang on, where is this?
01:16:27.700 There it is.
01:16:35.060 The problem is
01:16:36.420 that this guy sends me
01:16:37.760 so much stuff
01:16:40.560 that I'll never,
01:16:43.940 never be able to find it.
01:16:47.240 oh my god this goes back
01:16:59.760 all right so anyway the bottom line is the century initiative and this mark
01:17:08.920 weisman character who mark carney has just hired just hired to be one of his special advisors
01:17:16.760 he's also one of the board members of the century initiative and the century initiative
01:17:23.460 is a corporate sponsor of the globe and mail newspaper so put those two things together
01:17:31.420 all of a sudden now globe and mail is doing hit pieces on the conservative party of canada
01:17:38.040 wow what a shocker here's michelle ferrari this is a great video of michelle
01:17:45.360 coming up with a question for people who are not really interested in voting or thinking about
01:17:51.460 voting for the liberals the question is well i'll let her tell you what it is just come down to uh
01:17:57.240 161 uh king street to grab a sign thank you and your question is a very good one so he says you
01:18:03.680 know i have uh friends that i'm trying to have conversations with about uh liberals and they
01:18:08.240 don't support the conservatives and they have questions about what conservatives stand for
01:18:11.700 that they voted against things like pharma care or dental care or child care and this is the
01:18:15.940 propaganda that they're moving online the first question i would say to you wayne to ask your
01:18:20.820 liberal friends is this tell me what in the last 10 years has gotten better exactly just tell me
01:18:26.020 one thing i can't think of it okay the second thing i would say to you is what happens when
01:18:30.100 you change the singer of the band does the band change nope absolutely not so you're not getting
01:18:34.100 anything new folks as for this propaganda that's circling around you are absolutely right so what
01:18:38.740 we voted against are non-confidence votes or budget or estimates votes. Today Pierre Polyev did an
01:18:43.860 announcement that he will be cutting the GST on new homes valued 1.3 million dollars. In that press
01:18:50.020 conference he went on to say that a question came from one of the media saying but what are you going
01:18:54.740 to do with pharma care dental care and child care? We will ensure that these programs stay with the
01:18:59.380 people who are offering them but we will fix them because they are a disaster. They are not fair,
01:19:04.820 they are not equitable so every time somebody says we voted against these things what we voted
01:19:09.460 against were exactly what you thought was confidence votes yeah budget votes that are
01:19:14.900 embedded within that but what we voted against every single time and we will stand for this
01:19:19.380 is overspending and driving our economy into the ground and taxing people into poverty
01:19:23.780 one trillion dollars worth of debt that's what's been accumulated in this country
01:19:27.700 we are spending more on servicing the debt in this country because of liberal
01:19:31.300 NDP spending than we are in health care transfers. How's your health care, Wayne?
01:19:36.260 No, it isn't because you've got to wait too long to get to see a doctor. That's right.
01:19:41.620 Like three weeks to see just the doctor. That's right. And not even getting to the specialist.
01:19:47.380 That's right. That's right. So why would you keep doing the same thing and expecting different
01:19:51.220 results, Wayne? I have no idea. Boggles my mind. Time to put Canada first for a change. Absolutely.
01:19:56.980 and why are you voting conservative because i believe in mr polyev and i believe in michelle
01:20:02.900 she's done nothing but work hard for this community and the country and that's important
01:20:09.700 i love your support you want a lawn sign come on down here we're also having a campaign opening
01:20:13.780 and we'd love to see you we need all the support we can get this election is important
01:20:19.060 thanks wayne i appreciate you well thank you michelle i well it's great meeting you again
01:20:23.860 in thanks my friend okay yeah she's gonna show you where my sources oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa
01:20:31.460 whoa whoa there's a ghost in the machine tonight you guys i'm sorry but there just is so it's all
01:20:39.380 over the place i found this guy on x today now this is the source that mario for the north and
01:20:49.140 all of these TikTokers have been using to talk about Mark Carney and some of the stories that
01:20:56.460 have been coming out about Mark Carney and Ghislaine Maxwell and his association with,
01:21:01.340 you know, Epstein, all of that. And this, this Twitter account, you see, there's all kinds,
01:21:09.400 sorry, X account. There's all kinds of things that are now coming up from these mysterious
01:21:13.920 accounts that never existed before, but somehow mysteriously in the course of three or four days
01:21:18.800 have got a hundred thousand followers i find it very odd it's happening on all sides it's not
01:21:25.560 just conservatives it's liberals and ndp and and whatnot but there are certain things i believe
01:21:36.140 even ezra levant might be behind one of these it's third party in the united states they call
01:21:43.360 them super PACs but in Canada it's third party meaning you're not necessarily associated with
01:21:52.920 the party you're advocating for technically it's weird there's all kinds of loopholes in the laws
01:22:00.060 through elections Canada and whatnot but you may notice these and of course the liberals are going
01:22:05.940 to call it Russian disinformation but you may notice more and more of these things on both
01:22:11.160 sides popping up on all of your social media feeds in the next week or so. Vote Canada. Let's
01:22:17.120 take a deep dive into Mark Carney's connections to the Epstein Network and uncover every troubling 0.52
01:22:22.000 detail. To begin, there's the damning photo from August 10th of 2013 at the Wildness Festival in
01:22:30.880 Oxfordshire, England. At the time, Carney was the new governor of the Bank of England. He was
01:22:36.320 photographed with Ghislaine Maxwell, who would later be convicted for trafficking minors to
01:22:40.820 Jeffrey Epstein and his associates. This wasn't a random encounter. It was an intimate social
01:22:47.940 moment at Cornbury Park, a sprawling estate owned by Carney's sister-in-law, Lady Tanya
01:22:53.060 Rotherwick. Maxwell wasn't just a guest. She was a regular at this elite event. She'd even had a
01:23:00.060 guest house on the property. Carney's wife, Diana Fox, Carney was there too. And the images show 0.95
01:23:06.360 them socializing with Maxwell, looking comfortable and at ease. At the time, Maxwell's criminal
01:23:11.960 activities were still unknown, but Epstein had already served a brief sentence in 2008 for
01:23:16.900 soliciting prostitution from a minor. Carney's close proximity to Maxwell raises serious questions
01:23:23.820 about his judgment and the company he kept. All right, let's take that off the screen.
01:23:27.340 And now let's go to this raw and unfiltered guy.
01:23:30.120 Now, guys, I'm going to tell you right now that there is a source that this guy uses that I'm not necessarily convinced about.
01:23:38.300 You've heard me talk about this before.
01:23:39.940 It's called the Wayback Machine.
01:23:42.340 So I did some research on the Wayback Machine today through various search engines
01:23:46.660 and could find nothing particularly odd about its creation or anything that's happened to it in the last 20 years.
01:23:56.300 We know, obviously, things like Wikipedia have been compromised by one of the alphabet agencies, probably the CIA, but could be another one.
01:24:05.020 We don't know.
01:24:06.060 And many of the other social media networks who have been touched by some secret spy agency from somewhere.
01:24:17.760 So is the Waymack back machine legitimate?
01:24:22.520 I don't know.
01:24:23.460 oh and by the way this is the extension tonight we are staying live on all socials until the end of
01:24:30.220 the show tonight i did have a whole other thing planned but we're going long here tonight so this
01:24:36.620 is the extension for the shadow at night live stream tonight so let's check out what raw and
01:24:43.480 unfiltered guy has to say and again you can follow him on x here we go apparently um all the slides
01:24:51.120 that I showed and all the connections and the name in the black book was just not good enough.
01:24:56.920 So this is a website. It's called the Internet Archive. Y'all may know it as the Wayback Machine,
01:25:02.640 but it does so much more than just look at websites. In this case, I used it to look up
01:25:08.080 the little contact book of Epstein, and this is the unredacted version, as you can see here.
01:25:15.260 Now, like I said, this isn't just for searching old websites, and I think a lot of people have
01:25:19.820 been to this website um to use the wayback machine but never knew the amount of other things it can
01:25:25.720 do all you have to do is push on the little logo at the top there you see the little white house
01:25:30.700 looking thing and it says internet archive click that and it brings you to this main menu with a
01:25:35.720 search bar so now you know how i got these documents that are unredacted now let's go to
01:25:41.140 where we got the redacted one now the difference between the two of them is one you can't see
01:25:45.540 personal information, the other one you can, like phone numbers, addresses, work. So this is the
01:25:50.860 United States of America government website. This is where they're releasing the documents. Scroll
01:25:57.460 down and you'll see the contact book. Click on it, download it, and you'll get this. The exact same
01:26:05.180 thing is this, only redacted. So focusing on Rotherick and Diane, right here in the bottom
01:26:13.500 right. This is one version. This is the one on the state's government website. The reason why
01:26:18.540 they're thick black squares is because they just covered all the information and left just the
01:26:23.280 names. But see, Diane was beside phone numbers. She wasn't a title name at the top, like Rotherwick,
01:26:31.640 which is her sister. So they blocked it like they did for the addresses and phone numbers
01:26:36.000 because it was at the bottom. It wasn't a main name. Now the images, everybody says, is fake.
01:26:41.400 this is shutterstock okay they take real photos and then they sell them under that photographer
01:26:48.760 is a bunch of mark carney and diane's photos it was just so happened they caught maxwell in a few
01:26:55.420 of the pictures now you can purchase these photos you can get all 25 for 2400 or you can buy
01:27:02.240 individual pictures for 200 a piece so yes the photos the name it's all real nothing is fake
01:27:10.840 Tanya and Robin well Tanya is Diane's sister Mark Carney's sister-in-law now why are these
01:27:19.700 names in the book nobody knows but that is Jeffrey Epstein's contact book and if you're in that book
01:27:27.700 you have met the individual so when Mark Carney is playing it off like he has no relationship
01:27:34.760 never met her never met Jeffrey Epstein that is an outright lie and this confirms it because his
01:27:44.300 wife's number is in the book his sister-in-law's number is in the book his ex-brother-in-law's
01:27:52.140 number is in the book the wilderness party where he went to Cornberry Park is in the book so it's
01:28:00.980 not just a photo and a far reach to try and link them together. This is a direct link. So although
01:28:09.540 I've been sitting on this information for quite a time, like I'm saying years, I never thought to
01:28:15.800 look for this name because I didn't care about Mark Carney then. He wasn't running for prime
01:28:20.660 minister of my country. But now that he is, and people ask me to do some research, I dug deep.
01:28:27.220 and then somebody reached out to me and said guess whose name is in the book i said no way
01:28:32.760 so this is why i made the update video because this 100 connects the carnies to maxwell and
01:28:42.940 epstein now i get it a lot of people are going to be angry you're going to say fake news you're
01:28:48.420 going to do whatever the government has weaponized you with these fancy little words of yours to
01:28:54.000 attack people. But listen, when we laid out receipt for receipt for receipt, showing you
01:29:01.960 step by step, showing you the sources, the credible sources, where to go and see yourself,
01:29:09.760 that is not fake news. That is real facts. Now, just because it doesn't suit your fairy tale
01:29:17.600 of loving someone voting for someone supporting someone and then finding out that they hang out
01:29:25.040 with people like this that would be heartbreaking but you shouldn't be mad at me you should be mad
01:29:31.440 at the person who was not transparent to you and lying to the media lying to the public
01:29:37.540 just to get into office and as i said in the last video i couldn't make out this card
01:29:43.480 i put it through a few programs and it cleared it right up and it does say wilderness
01:29:48.360 bottom there it says triple a escort and then as you can see they got a green and orange band
01:29:56.560 and mark carney and his wife only has the green band so that means maxwell was working the concert
01:30:04.160 the pot stock the event for her friend tanya and the escort probably means that she was escorting
01:30:13.220 the singers or the the artists from stage to wherever whatever it is she was involved in that
01:30:20.300 therefore she was a little bit more than just someone who was visiting the concert so hopefully
01:30:26.000 that cleared it up i've done enough videos on this if you guys don't want to believe it carry
01:30:30.400 on go somewhere else but i know what i know i'm gonna stick to it at additives underscore ca if
01:30:39.300 you want to follow him on exit he's dropped a whole bunch of crazy stuff the only thing is
01:30:43.940 there's a lot of way back machine in it and i'm still investigating that because i'm just not
01:30:50.060 convinced about that particular tool it just seems too convenient okay so i put out a post today
01:30:59.940 and it you guys may have seen this i was maxime bernier's team reached out to me in the last
01:31:07.860 couple of days saying hey max would be interested in being on your show and i'm just trying to
01:31:12.340 figure out why i would do that he's been on the show two or three times in the past and he has
01:31:20.000 never come up with anything new it's always the same old same old same old i've been hearing a
01:31:27.840 lot of stuff about max in the last couple of weeks that make me believe that he doesn't want the ppc
01:31:36.920 to win any seats. He doesn't want the PPC to be successful. He doesn't want the PPC
01:31:42.880 to be a real political party. To what end? I don't know. Is it money making? Maybe. Is
01:31:49.620 it a vendetta against the CPC that he just runs the PPC to try and get back somehow at
01:31:55.460 the Conservative Party of Canada because of what they did to him a few years ago? I don't
01:32:00.920 know does he really believe in the things he says maybe there's a guy called frank vaughn who was
01:32:12.060 actually at the uh involved at the very beginnings of the people's party of canada who's since left
01:32:19.980 that party and he has all kinds of great information on maxime bernier so um a lot of
01:32:26.380 people have been asking me to reach out to Frank, get him on the show, and have that conversation.
01:32:32.420 And I would love to do that. So I went back and I watched a couple of Frank's videos, and he's
01:32:37.360 remarkably good. He delivers information in a very powerful, concise way, and I like his style.
01:32:43.260 And I would love to have Frank Vaughn on. So if any of you guys know Frank, please reach out to him
01:32:48.960 or find a number for me or an email address or some sort of social media messaging thing that
01:32:54.900 i can get a hold of him i'd love to set up a night for frank vaughn to come on this show
01:32:59.860 there's a guy called david shane
01:33:03.620 with an organization called awake canada
01:33:08.480 now i didn't really have a lot of time for david shane because of his involvement with that
01:33:15.860 idiot a couple of years ago marcus ray i think he was a big big big fan of marcus ray and what 0.90
01:33:23.240 Marcus Ray was going to do. And I thought, oh man, how can you be taken in by such a 0.99
01:33:27.760 snake oil salesman like this? But to his credit, David is big enough. And I hope we all are
01:33:39.260 to admit when we make mistakes. So David dropped a video today regarding Maxime Bernier.
01:33:47.120 And I want you to listen to this because it makes a hell of a lot of sense.
01:33:53.240 This is a personal message to Maxime Bernier of the PPC party.
01:33:59.460 Do you remember back in the last election,
01:34:02.940 when you came out to Maple Ridge to meet members of the Awake Canada team,
01:34:07.560 and we went back to, you know, a friend's house,
01:34:11.500 and we sat, we had coffee, we chatted, I interviewed you.
01:34:16.440 Do you remember that?
01:34:18.040 Because I remember you asking me for my phone number,
01:34:21.480 and I gave you my phone number,
01:34:23.240 and then I never heard from you again.
01:34:26.060 I seen you come down,
01:34:28.680 poach support from Awake Canada people,
01:34:31.900 go and fail miserably in an election,
01:34:35.080 not winning a seat,
01:34:36.640 and then coming back after the election
01:34:38.460 and saying, hey, we did pretty good.
01:34:39.880 You know, we start from nowhere
01:34:40.740 and now we're, you know, we're here.
01:34:42.560 So the people that I got behind you at that time,
01:34:46.300 I got behind you because I didn't trust the polls.
01:34:49.100 I didn't trust what I was seeing
01:34:50.300 and thought that maybe there was some chance
01:34:52.880 you could get some some kind of power in and some seats in there so here's my question to you max
01:34:59.160 you've been at this now for two elections you haven't won a seat canada's future is at massive
01:35:07.540 stake here i hear you talk more badly about pierre than i do about carney even though pierre has
01:35:15.180 adopted 80 of your principles i've heard you flat out lie about some of these policies i don't know 0.92
01:35:22.840 if that's deliberate or if you're just uh ignorant but i have to ask you this max if you truly are
01:35:31.100 the patriot that you say you are you truly want to save this country like you say you do wouldn't 0.93
01:35:37.580 the right thing to do be the same as what rfk did when he threw in his hat and he threw his support
01:35:43.580 behind trump and gave trump that win if if he indeed did play a factor to that we certainly
01:35:50.060 know it didn't hurt we do know that he was polling at similar kind of numbers you were
01:35:54.240 uh he actually even had some strong demographics 30 percent in some demographics certain age
01:36:00.120 groups and stuff like that you have never polled better than five percent you're currently polling
01:36:06.720 at two and a half percent every single vote that goes your way could have been a vote that might
01:36:13.440 have given the conservative government a majority government because you know you're a politician
01:36:19.040 you know that if the conservatives don't get a majority you do know that the liberals the ndp
01:36:26.400 the green and the bloc are all going to make an alignment against the conservatives so they can't
01:36:32.940 pass any any bills whatsoever so the last i heard that you've got around 800 000 followers
01:36:42.420 if you were a patriot max would you not at this time say hey listen i know i can't win this
01:36:50.420 election i know i can't win a seat or maybe i can win a seat i don't know maybe you don't know that
01:36:56.560 i don't think you can but wouldn't this be the time to tell your voters you know in the in the
01:37:03.440 best interest of this country since pierre has adopted 80 of my policies he wants to open up
01:37:09.500 the pipelines remember that discussion we had you said we didn't need to do anything we didn't need
01:37:14.740 to change any laws we didn't need to reform anything we just needed to follow the law you
01:37:18.740 told me about uh i can't remember what it will c69 something like that about the anti-pipelines bill
01:37:25.040 act and that you would just implement that as a prime minister you would just go boom and you
01:37:29.580 would change that in a heartbeat well pierre that's all his platform that's one of his major
01:37:34.640 platforms he's already talked to all the premiers everybody wants to open their energy up
01:37:38.260 but if the liberals win for any reason none of that happens okay Pierre has also said he would
01:37:47.940 ban vaccine mandates and mask mandates he wants to kill woke ideology
01:37:53.320 basically Max he's adapted just about everything that you've been fighting for
01:37:58.660 and you're sitting here trying to squeeze people for what a seat a seat the people on this page
01:38:07.100 max that are following you are looking for you as a leader because you're a true voice for the
01:38:11.420 conservative vote but yet you cannot give them a single thing that you're promising to give them
01:38:16.980 because you can't win a seat wouldn't it be better to give them like 80 percent of what you've
01:38:22.700 promised that is now part of the conservative platform wouldn't it be better to make sure the
01:38:28.680 liberals like 100 don't get into power again because i got to believe this max if you don't
01:38:34.620 do this before the next election here's what i predict for you you're finished in politics
01:38:39.240 you're finished because you sold your country out you have a chance to save this country
01:38:44.120 you have a chance to do it this election you have a chance to give the conservatives a majority
01:38:49.000 government if you choose not to do that we will all see your true colors the balls in your court 1.00
01:38:55.140 max you either fuck canada or you help us save it 1.00
01:38:59.460 i tell you man he with that he is absolutely bang on if it comes down to 1.00
01:39:10.820 two percent here two percent there and you know how it how it is on election night when you're
01:39:16.520 watching the television coverage and you see the votes coming in from all the different writings
01:39:20.500 across the country and you see if you see a conservative that's behind a liberal by like
01:39:27.620 300 votes or less, 200 votes, and then you look at the very bottom of that particular
01:39:32.080 ridings, vote totals, and you see a PPC that's got 500 votes, the PPC took that seat away
01:39:42.640 from the conservatives.
01:39:43.720 And what could have been a conservative majority government winds up being a minority government
01:39:48.460 that gets taken down with a confidence vote in the first month, or maybe they lose the
01:39:53.060 election altogether.
01:39:54.000 because who knows what the hell's going on right now what i can tell you is that my gut
01:40:00.820 does not go with all of the polls that we've been seeing i'm trying to use my discernment and i
01:40:07.860 always always always trust my gut the only time i don't trust my gut that's when i'm wrong
01:40:14.640 no man don't trust your god go right not left wrong should have gone left that's what my gut 0.95
01:40:24.560 was telling me my gut tells me that these polls are controlled by chinese entities
01:40:30.840 and that nothing has changed since last december or even early january before trudeau quit
01:40:39.140 there is no way that mark carney is getting 45 support from canadians there just is no way
01:40:50.040 it's impossible this guy never mind what we know he is and we're digging out more stuff every single
01:40:59.900 day but he's wallpaper he's he's furniture he's he can't put a sentence together he makes no sense
01:41:08.980 when he speaks now he might be smart he might be hard-working he might have been the governor of
01:41:16.620 the bank of the uk england sorry or the governor of the bank of canada but that doesn't make him
01:41:22.060 a businessman that doesn't make him smart that makes him well placed that makes him ideologically
01:41:29.020 driven that makes him possibly a chosen one why who knows who knows maybe it has something to do
01:41:38.320 with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
01:41:40.180 I don't know.
01:41:41.560 But there's no way that Canada 0.99
01:41:43.340 will vote these clowns in 0.99
01:41:46.300 for another majority government 1.00
01:41:49.000 or even a minority.
01:41:50.060 Sean Fraser,
01:41:51.680 the failed housing minister
01:41:53.260 who quit politics
01:41:54.840 about a month and a half ago,
01:41:56.840 announced today that he's running again.
01:41:58.800 Whoa!
01:41:59.540 All of the same liberals coming back.
01:42:01.800 The only one missing?
01:42:04.780 Justin Trudeau.
01:42:08.320 getting back to maxime bernier maxime bernier knows he can't even win one seat
01:42:16.620 he knows that his best chance to have won a seat would have been during the pandemic when he was
01:42:23.460 standing up and he was doing all the right things at least we thought well he was doing the right
01:42:27.420 things maybe for the wrong reasons i don't know now if i do decide that i'm going to have him on
01:42:34.820 the show i'll ask him all of these hard questions but i'm not sure that i want to do that why
01:42:39.340 on earth would i want to rip a guy apart
01:42:42.120 publicly
01:42:45.400 that doesn't seem
01:42:49.280 like a a nice thing to do does it but what i can tell you is that max and the ppc are a non-factor
01:43:01.360 moving forward and david shane's right if the ppc if max is it's a one-man show let's be honest i
01:43:09.240 don't want to say the ppc who else is in the ppc do you know anybody else in the ppc can you name
01:43:14.220 one other ppc no it's maxim bernier cult and if he doesn't throw his support in behind polyev
01:43:22.860 then he wants the liberals to win that's all there is to it and all the ppc bros you guys
01:43:32.140 out there watching this right now you can say everything you want but the bottom line is there
01:43:35.760 is no chance you have none zero and then the globalization monsters get to move a little bit
01:43:43.180 quicker a little bit further so um this is something i've been meaning to bring up
01:43:49.820 for a while now and haven't.
01:43:55.080 I'll have to get Katie back on the show at some point.
01:43:57.880 Katie Pasidney of Universal Ostrich Farms
01:44:01.200 in Edgewood, British Columbia.
01:44:04.720 This is tragic.
01:44:08.800 Universal Ostrich Farms seeks justice
01:44:11.340 following tragic loss of their elder,
01:44:13.180 of elder ostrich.
01:44:15.820 Universal Ostrich Farms is deeply saddened
01:44:18.180 to announce the tragic and senseless loss of Sarah,
01:44:21.440 one of our beloved elder ostriches,
01:44:23.420 on Friday, March 21st.
01:44:25.340 Sarah, a healthy and cherished member of our herd,
01:44:27.800 was shot and killed on our property.
01:44:34.240 So somebody came in the middle of the night
01:44:37.100 and shot this ostrich right in the head.
01:44:43.800 There were some pictures that were released online.
01:44:46.540 I've chosen not to show them.
01:44:48.180 The RCMP were immediately notified, and we are now awaiting their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this violent act.
01:44:56.460 At this time, we do not know who is responsible for Sarah's death, but we are fully committed to working with law enforcement to uncover the truth and ensure those responsible are held accountable.
01:45:06.480 katie pisidney daughter of co-owner karen esperson said the loss of sarah is not just a tragedy for
01:45:14.380 our farm but for everyone who values the safety of animals we're focused on finding justice and
01:45:20.600 preventing something like this from happening again in addition to the emotional toll we
01:45:27.560 continue to incur significant legal costs as we work to prevent an unnecessary culling order
01:45:32.400 issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
01:45:35.540 We are incredibly grateful for their support,
01:45:38.180 for the support we've received from our supporters,
01:45:40.440 and we will continue to provide updates
01:45:42.200 as new information becomes available. 0.69
01:45:44.680 So that's Katie Pasitni.
01:45:46.760 You can find her there on Facebook
01:45:47.980 if you want to go and send out a friend request.
01:45:50.940 This will be the last thing tonight, you guys.
01:45:53.680 I did have a whole other thing planned
01:45:57.420 for the extension tonight,
01:45:58.640 but too much information.
01:46:01.560 and i didn't even get to like 40 of it you guys know dr jonathan turley
01:46:09.520 comes out with some great information from time to time but oh my god so annoying
01:46:15.800 squeaky voice but you know i'm gonna read something he wrote here because i found this to be
01:46:26.560 interesting remembering that there was a poll out a couple of weeks ago showing that 46
01:46:31.340 percent of Canadians would jump at the chance to join the European Union remember that 10 percent
01:46:37.380 want to join the United States but 46 percent for some reason want to join the European Union over
01:46:42.660 there where they're arresting people for posting memes seriously they're coming to your house
01:46:48.000 they're saying you posted something on Facebook that caused this person emotional distress
01:46:52.420 and you've got to come with us to the station and they handcuff them and they drag them away from
01:46:59.920 their families seriously oh yeah and they're boning up for another war as well
01:47:06.780 matter of fact i think i had something about that the german people are now starting to rebel against
01:47:13.940 their chancellor who wants to accelerate all of this military spending because they want to keep
01:47:21.220 that war with ukraine going don't forget right a new world order with european values the unholy
01:47:27.940 union of globalism and anti-free speech measures. Oh yeah, that's another thing over there too. They
01:47:32.920 do not like free speech, not one bit. Below is my column in the hill on the recent world forum
01:47:40.640 where leaders gathered to declare a new world order with European values. So here's the column
01:47:45.520 here. Emblazoned across banners and signs, the words a new world order with European values
01:47:53.100 met the participants at this week's meeting of the World Forum in Berlin.
01:47:58.860 Each year, leaders, executives, journalists, and academics
01:48:02.180 gather to address the greatest threats facing humanity.
01:48:05.960 This year, there was little doubt about what they view as the current threat,
01:48:10.780 the resurgence of populism, and free speech.
01:48:14.620 In fairness to the forum, a new world order likely sounds more ominous
01:48:18.720 for some civil libertarians than intended.
01:48:21.160 While the European Union is a transnational government stretching across 27 nations,
01:48:27.000 the organizers were referring to a shift of values away from the United States to Europe.
01:48:33.260 As one of the few speakers at the forum who was calling for greater protections for free speech,
01:48:39.360 I found it an unnerving message.
01:48:42.920 Even putting aside the implications of the New World Order,
01:48:45.560 the idea of building a world on today's European values is alarming for free speech.
01:48:50.300 free speech is in free fall in europe with ever-expanding speech regulations and criminal
01:48:56.720 prosecutions including for having toxic ideologies matter of fact in talking to dr yim last week
01:49:04.300 she told me that there is a commission it's called the conspiracy commission
01:49:10.420 that you can report friends and family members to if they've been talking conspiracy nonsense
01:49:17.940 It's true.
01:49:19.400 That's in Luxembourg.
01:49:22.780 The World Forum has a powerful sense of fraternity,
01:49:25.460 even an intimacy among leaders who see each other as a global elite.
01:49:29.640 Ah, Mark Carney, right?
01:49:30.980 This is what I was talking about last night.
01:49:33.540 A cadre of enlightened minds protecting citizens
01:49:37.100 from their own poor choices and habits.
01:49:39.960 There's been a long push for transnational governing systems
01:49:43.920 and European figures see an opportunity created by the conflict with President Trump.
01:49:49.680 The European Union is the model for such a Pax Europea or European peace.
01:49:54.900 The problem is that this vision for a new Holy Roman Empire lacks a Charlemagne.
01:50:00.460 More importantly, it lacks public support.
01:50:03.040 The very notion of a new world order is chilling to many who oppose the rise of a globalist class
01:50:08.920 with the rise of transnational governance in the European Union and beyond.
01:50:13.580 This year, hang on, let me see if I can find a little thing here.
01:50:17.000 This year, there is a sense of, where am I, panic among Europe's elite over the victory of Trump
01:50:23.780 and the Republicans in the United States, as well as nationalist and populist European movements.
01:50:29.160 For globalists, the late Tip O'Neill's rule that all politics is local is anathema.
01:50:35.520 The European Union is intended to transcend national identities and priorities
01:50:39.580 in favor of an inspired transnational government managed by an expert elite.
01:50:44.600 Ah, now we're talking about technocracy, which is something we've discussed as well on this show.
01:50:50.200 The message was clear.
01:50:52.520 The New World Order would be based on European, not American values.
01:50:57.400 To rally the faithful to the cause, the organizers called upon two of the patron saints of the global elite,
01:51:02.460 Bill and Hillary Clinton.
01:51:04.640 President Clinton was even given an award as leader of the century.
01:51:08.720 The Clintons were clearly in their element,
01:51:10.600 speaker after speaker denounced Trump
01:51:12.600 and the rise of what they called autocrats and oligarchs.
01:51:16.240 The irony was crushing.
01:51:18.180 The European Union is based on the oligarchy
01:51:20.920 of a ruling elite, kings and queens, for God's sakes.
01:51:25.200 The World Forum even took time to celebrate billionaires
01:51:27.780 from Bill Gates to George Soros
01:51:29.600 for funding open societies and greater transnational powers.
01:51:33.960 These people...
01:51:36.000 probably one of the heads of the Hydra.
01:51:41.800 It's amazing that this is allowed to continue.
01:51:47.360 The discussions focused on blunting the rise of far-right parties
01:51:51.240 and stemming the flow of disinformation, quote-unquote,
01:51:55.380 that fosters such dissent.
01:51:57.780 Outside of this rarefied environment,
01:51:59.940 the Orwellian language would border on the humorous,
01:52:02.300 protecting democracy from itself
01:52:04.120 and limiting free speech to foster free speech.
01:52:11.160 We take free speech from you so that we can save it.
01:52:17.060 Yet one aspect of the forum was striking and refreshingly open.
01:52:21.140 This year it became clear why transnational governance
01:52:23.780 gravitates toward greater limits on free speech.
01:52:27.040 Of course, all of this must be done in the name of democracy and free speech.
01:52:32.320 There's a coded language.
01:52:34.120 That's now in vogue with the anti-free speech community.
01:52:38.600 They never say the word censorship.
01:52:40.240 They prefer content moderation.
01:52:43.020 They don't call for limiting speech.
01:52:44.860 Instead, they call for limiting false, hateful, or insightful speech.
01:52:50.440 As for the rise of...
01:52:51.500 And you can bet that Carney is right in on this.
01:52:56.240 As for opposing, the rise of opposing parties and figures,
01:52:59.500 they're referred to as movements by low-information voters,
01:53:04.300 misled by disinformation.
01:53:05.900 Of course, it's the government that will decide
01:53:08.280 what are acceptable and unacceptable viewpoints.
01:53:12.160 Very Orwellian indeed.
01:53:16.120 That code was broken recently by Vice President J.D. Vance
01:53:20.480 of the United States, who confronted the European allies in Munich
01:53:24.280 to restore free speech.
01:53:25.600 He stripped away the pretense and called out the censorship.
01:53:28.600 and they actually cried about that too
01:53:32.200 like really cried
01:53:34.080 after what Vance said to them
01:53:36.220 with the rise of populist groups
01:53:39.440 anti-immigration movements
01:53:40.820 and critics of European governance
01:53:42.400 there is a palpable challenge
01:53:44.360 to EU authority
01:53:45.840 in that environment
01:53:47.360 free speech can be viewed as destabilizing
01:53:49.700 because it spreads dissent and falsehoods
01:53:52.000 where did I go here
01:53:53.340 about these figures in their agenda
01:53:57.160 thus far
01:53:58.000 European peace has come at the price of silencing many of those voices, achieving the pretense of
01:54:03.780 consensus, the pretense of consensus through coerced silence. Transnational governance
01:54:11.020 requires consent over a wide swath of territory. That means the control or cooperation of media
01:54:16.420 and social media is essential to maintaining the consent of the governed. That's why free
01:54:22.060 speech is in a tailspin in Europe with ever-expanding speech regulations and criminal prosecutions.
01:54:28.000 yet it's difficult to get a free people to give up freedom
01:54:32.600 they have to be very afraid or very angry
01:54:36.500 one of the speakers was Maria A. Ressa
01:54:39.900 a journalist and Nobel laureate
01:54:41.780 I admire Ressa's courage as a journalist
01:54:43.760 but previously criticized her for anti-free speech positions
01:54:48.100 Ressa has struck out against critics who have denounced her
01:54:51.300 for allegedly anti-Semitic views
01:54:53.240 she has warned that the right is using free speech
01:54:56.600 declaring, I will say it now, the fascists are coming. At the forum, Ressa again called
01:55:02.780 for the audience of powerful leaders to prevent lies and dangerous disinformation from spreading
01:55:08.620 worldwide. But the free speech movement has shown a surprising resilience these past few years.
01:55:16.040 First, Elon Musk bought Twitter and dismantled its censorship apparatus, restoring free speech
01:55:20.680 to the social media platform. More recently, Mark Zuckerberg announced that Meta would also
01:55:25.700 restore free speech protections on Facebook and other platforms. And I don't know if you guys have
01:55:30.200 noticed, but on Facebook, things seem to be a lot looser these past few weeks. At least that's my
01:55:37.920 impression. In a shock to many, young Irish voters have been credited with killing a move to further
01:55:45.320 expand the criminalization of speech to include xenophobia and the public dissemination or
01:55:51.220 distribution of tracts, pictures, or other material from viewpoints barred under the law.
01:55:57.860 Anti-free speech forces are gathering to push back on such trends. Indeed, Hillary Clinton
01:56:03.420 has hardly been subtle about the dangers of free speech to the new world order. After
01:56:09.960 Musk bought Twitter with the intention of restoring free speech protections, Clinton
01:56:13.720 called upon the European Union to use its infamous Digital Services Act to make Musk 0.97
01:56:19.340 censor her fellow Americans. She's also suggested arresting those spreading disinformation.
01:56:25.860 The European Union did precisely that by threatening Musk with confiscatory fines
01:56:33.280 and even arrest unless he censored users. When Musk decided to interview Trump in this election,
01:56:39.480 EU censors warned him that they would be watching for any disinformation. For many citizens,
01:56:45.100 European governments does not exactly look like a triumph over oligarchs and autocrats.
01:56:50.240 Indeed, the EU looks pretty oligarchic with its massive bureaucracy guided by a global elite
01:56:55.900 and good billionaires like Soros and Gates.
01:57:01.380 Citizens would be wise to look beyond the catchy themes
01:57:05.000 and consider what Pax Europea would truly mean to them.
01:57:09.000 We have many shared values with our European allies.
01:57:12.640 However, given the current laws limiting political speech, a new world order based on European values is hardly an inviting prospect for those who believe in robust democratic and free speech values.
01:57:26.360 Jonathan Turley.
01:57:30.140 And that's the show for tonight, my friends.
01:57:34.700 Oops.
01:57:36.640 Ghost in the machine.
