00:08:33.180 again that is canada nanosilver.ca here is the petition authored by our guest tonight melissa
00:08:40.920 It's E-5024 Democratic Process, sponsored by MP of Peterborough Kawartha, Michelle Ferreri.
00:08:48.640 And I've read this several times already, but I'm going to read it to you guys again,
00:08:52.200 especially for those of you who haven't even heard of this yet,
00:08:55.820 because the last petition that Melissa authored back the very end of last year,
00:09:01.140 I think it only had 30 days worth of signature time.
00:09:04.000 It got 387,000 signatures.
00:09:07.780 So this one, because I think it's the time of year,
00:09:10.260 a lot of people are distracted by the weather
00:09:12.300 and planning vacations or whatever.
00:09:15.240 They may not know about this, at least not yet.
00:09:17.600 So this means it's a good thing
00:09:20.060 we've got more time to sign this petition.
00:09:21.960 It doesn't close until October the 2nd.
00:09:23.940 But here is how it reads.
00:09:26.360 Whereas Canadians are suffering
00:09:28.140 and Canada is in turmoil
00:09:29.440 due to this out-of-touch liberal NDP government,
00:09:32.700 the out-of-control inflationary deficit spending
00:09:34.940 is forcing Canadians to food banks
00:09:36.600 in record high numbers and forcing Canadians to uproot and move to other countries to find
00:09:41.100 safety and financial stability. These are all facts. We know this. We have seen the reports.
00:09:47.020 Justin Trudeau and his environment minister ignored 70% of Canadians and 7 of 10 Canadian
00:09:52.980 premiers when they increased the carbon tax by 23% April 1st on their path to quadrupling it
00:09:59.380 eventually by 2030, which is the magic year, as I keep referring to. The policies of the Trudeau
00:10:05.580 government have added fuel to the fire when it comes to housing affordability taxes violent
00:10:09.580 crime civil liberties immigration policy and preserving peace and order government good
00:10:14.900 government canada has fallen behind on the world stage oh you're about to see a doozy in just a
00:10:20.040 second if you want to talk about more embarrassing trudeau moments excluded from security alliances
00:10:25.960 and canada's reputation being at the top of debate around the world justin trudeau and his liberal
00:10:30.700 party continue to be brought forward on several ongoing ethics investigations and concerns and
00:10:36.460 canadians have lost confidence if they ever had it in the first place and trust in justin trudeau
00:10:42.340 and his liberal ndp government's ability to govern canada responsibly and show equality not equity
00:10:49.080 but equality to all canadians so we the undersigned when you go ahead and sign this you become one of
00:10:54.900 the signatories the citizens and residents of canada call upon the house of commons to call
00:10:59.520 for a vote of no confidence and an election to follow immediately should this request be denied
00:11:04.960 we ask the 45th general election remain on its original date or be moved one week earlier instead
00:11:12.300 of one week later per bill c65 which is obviously to preserve some of the liberal ndp and yes even
00:11:20.080 some conservative mp pensions and there it is michelle ferrari who sponsored this is the member
00:11:25.220 of Parliament written by Melissa Outwater. 7,386 signatures so far. Melissa is going to join in
00:11:34.260 just a second. From left-wing corporate CTV, Trudeau shouting Slava Ukraini during world
00:11:43.260 leader photo op viewed hundreds of thousands of times online. Slava Ukraini, Trudeau says,
00:11:50.680 in the middle of a photo op with all of these other world leaders.
00:11:54.920 And we got this from Justin Trudeau's Ego on X.
00:12:00.820 If you're watching on X right now and you don't follow this account,
00:12:07.900 please go ahead and do so. It's funny.
00:12:10.880 Today at the summit for Ukraine,
00:12:15.200 I'm going to stop doing that because I know it probably annoys some of you,
00:12:19.140 the trudeau impersonation we posed for a picture but i didn't get to stand next to president
00:12:24.900 zelinski that's why i shouted slava ukraine out of nowhere so turn your volume up and listen to
00:12:31.260 me humiliate myself and my country on the world stage and here it is my friend
00:12:37.000 out of nowhere justin trudeau slava ukraine hey melissa where'd you go
00:12:57.460 can't see you
00:13:00.900 well she was there and now she's not hopefully she hits the link again and rejoins the show
00:13:09.980 the meantime perhaps i'll juggle
00:13:13.380 i don't have anything to juggle uh jokes don't know any um ah there she is let's bring her on
00:13:23.340 melissa outwater or as she's known on the petitions melissa ann outwater it's almost like
00:13:31.500 john wayne gacy like they always add that middle name to the serial killers or the famous people
00:13:37.880 do you go by melissa ann or is it just melissa melissa it's just melissa but you're known as
00:13:44.000 melissa ann because you're the author of the you've got to put your middle name down on these
00:13:47.900 petitions i assume in order to be a sponsor or author of them yeah well i have to put down my
00:13:52.300 legal name so melissa ann outwater but you're melissa okay so thank you for coming on tonight
00:13:58.940 we really appreciate this melissa uh we talked about so much in such a short period of time
00:14:04.360 this afternoon and i want to get into that as we go further in the show but first when you authored
00:14:10.280 the very first petition uh the one that came out i think it was last november november 20th or
00:14:16.060 something it only had 30 days to be signed people were going you gotta sign this petition man
00:14:20.400 You wound up with 387,000 signatures on that petition, still the most signed petition and probably will remain that way unless this new one beats it.
00:14:31.720 387,000 signatures, the record so far.
00:14:35.080 How did that make you feel?
00:14:36.600 Did you think that it was going to go that far?
00:14:39.080 No, I thought that I was going to have a hard time getting 500.
00:14:42.740 So you need about 500 for them to read it on the floor.
00:14:46.880 A lot of MPs won't read them unless there's about 500 signatures.
00:14:51.040 And I honestly thought I was going to have a struggle getting the 500.
00:14:55.500 So when it took off as quickly as it did, you know, I got a little riddled with anxiety because I thought, oh, no, this thing's gone viral.
00:15:07.300 This is crazy.
00:15:09.200 And it was still going really strong.
00:15:11.060 The numbers were climbing still pretty high when it ended on Christmas Eve.
00:15:15.240 um you know and we got a lot of messages you know i didn't get a chance to sign it i didn't get to
00:15:21.540 do this can we go back can you extend it and unfortunately you can't um edit it after it's
00:15:27.820 been published so we couldn't why did you decide to end it on christmas eve was there a certain
00:15:33.940 time limit that you had to consider or was it just something that was more so you get to pick
00:15:40.980 so you can 30 days 60 days 90 days and 120 days um and the 30 days because we were kind of running
00:15:50.580 close to christmas and i did do it strategically to end the eve of justin trudeau's birthday
00:15:57.620 i was about to say trudeau's birthday is on christmas day so that that was interesting
00:16:03.200 what gave you the idea in the first place um you know and you get a lot of i was getting a lot of
00:16:08.640 messages of people in despair and they didn't know what to do where do we go from here what
00:16:12.820 happens next and i was a little unwell for a few days and so i was laid up in bed and food poisoning
00:16:20.100 you said right food poisoning what did you eat what was what was it gave you food poisoning i
00:16:24.540 had lemon pepper fish well it must have been what kind of fish was it you know what i don't even
00:16:32.060 know it was just it was like from the grocery store i've like not touched fish since i i can't
00:16:37.280 even bring myself i can't even imagine yeah so anyway you're sick and you're going all right
00:16:42.480 i'm going to do something here yeah you know i'm just kind of replying to people like hang in there
00:16:47.080 we're going to be okay just when the moment's right something will happen you know canadians
00:16:53.480 will rise when the time when the time is right you know we're we're a fun little bunch of creatures
00:17:00.920 up here in the north you know and we take a lot of crap so it takes a lot to get us to all kind
00:17:06.100 of rise up so and I thought you know what instead of just waiting and I started jotting down things
00:17:13.120 people were saying to me and things that were popping in my head and I was watching the news
00:17:17.400 and and then it just kind of came to flourish and I um emailed Michelle's office and said hey
00:17:24.340 like I'm looking for a sponsor for a petition like is Michelle interested um they came back
00:17:29.480 and asked me what it was about so I sent them my draft and uh Michelle immediately responded and
00:17:34.860 said i would be honored and off we went from there really so that was that like you actually
00:17:42.380 spoke to michelle face to face and not to say okay so let's back up michelle is your mp for
00:17:49.400 peterborough yes right but she was also before she was elected as an mp she was kind of a tv
00:17:55.620 celebrity in peterborough right yeah for global news which it was checks news back then when she
00:18:01.640 right so but she's a local celebrity so was it difficult to reach her is she very accessible
00:18:07.260 uh does she get back to you quickly yeah she's pretty good i mean even before i started this
00:18:14.300 i had contacted her office about some housing issues um with my brother and stuff and her
00:18:20.060 office got back right away and then she phoned me on her way home from ottawa one night um because
00:18:25.320 we were trying to find crisis beds and they were amazing and she's never just not returned phone
00:18:33.340 call or an email her office has always been very prompt to get back to me regarding anything and
00:18:39.460 i haven't come across anybody that's had an issue trying to get a hold of her or getting a response
00:18:44.620 so so when you came to her with the idea of this petition what was her initial reaction was she
00:18:50.920 yeah, sure, let's go for it, or was she a little cautious?
00:18:54.020 No, she jumped in both feet.
00:18:57.060 Interesting.
00:18:57.540 You mentioned that people come to you to talk to you
00:19:03.340 and just kind of maybe unload some of their stuff on you.
00:19:08.180 You told me about this off show this afternoon
00:19:11.000 that you have a group on social media that has been gaining steam,
00:19:15.360 and this has been going on since a couple of months after the Freedom Convoy.
00:19:19.000 But exactly what is this group and what do you guys do?
00:19:22.640 So the group is called Freedom for Unity, Peterborough, Kawartha.
00:19:27.400 And when we originally organized this group and put it together, we were doing a lot of events.
00:19:32.740 We were traveling all across Ontario and we were bringing convoys across the province every weekend.
00:19:39.640 So we were convoying somewhere and our convoys were quite large.
00:19:42.320 um you know some of them you know a few hundred vehicles um you know some bigger than that
00:19:48.820 depending on the event we were going to in the distance we were going um then as time progressed
00:19:55.020 you know people kind of got sad in a way you know they were kind of giving up and we were starting
00:20:03.520 to notice like posts that were being made and what reasons melissa were people getting sad was
00:20:08.980 because the convoy got defeated by i think yeah i think you know just at every corner when we think
00:20:16.000 that we've found a way to be heard or we find a way to get our voices heard at every corner
00:20:23.940 somebody shuts the door yeah and doesn't hear them and that gets utterly discouraging and
00:20:31.640 disheartening really you know you're you're screaming at the top of your lungs for help
00:20:36.500 These people are starving in the streets. They're homeless. You know, even our middle class is now going to food banks like these people are hurting and nobody's hearing them. Nobody.
00:20:49.420 Were you at the were you at the Freedom Convoy?
00:20:52.300 I went up for, you know, on the weekends.
00:20:54.640 I wasn't up there for the week because I did stay working through the week,
00:20:57.760 but I went up on the weekends.
00:20:59.960 And it was an incredible experience.
00:21:01.940 It was an incredible movement,
00:21:03.540 and it was incredible to see the people come together.
00:21:08.060 Yeah.
00:21:08.620 And I really wish to find another.
00:21:11.660 Yeah, I'm thinking that one may be coming at some point soon.
00:21:15.620 And that's not anything I know behind the scenes.
00:21:18.600 it's just that i'm getting that feeling that people i mean did you see the video of trudeau
00:21:23.860 in belleville last week yes i mean there he this guy can't go anywhere in this country and this is
00:21:31.160 something else that you and i talked about uh earlier what kinds of things aside from the
00:21:36.780 convoy what kinds of things because you say that the group the freedom group that you that you host
00:21:41.960 is it's kind of like a support group for people, emotional support.
00:21:47.640 What kinds of things are you hearing from people
00:21:50.580 outside of the Freedom Convoy coming to the abrupt end it came to?
00:21:55.600 Is it people still being isolated from friends and family?
00:21:59.360 Is it mostly about money?
00:22:00.620 Is it just general lethargy?
00:22:03.120 What is it about?
00:22:03.820 Yeah, I mean, there are some that are still feeling very much isolated.
00:22:07.640 There are some that still have not regained or rekindled those friendships.
00:22:11.960 relationships and the relationships with their families since COVID. And then we have some that,
00:22:17.780 you know, businesses have went under. They've struggled, they pushed through COVID, and they
00:22:22.600 thought they were going to be okay. But now the taxes have all been raised, and they just can't
00:22:27.740 do it. They just can't do it. So they've had to close their doors. You've got, you know, people
00:22:33.720 that came across the country to the convoy that are still struggling to find their way back to
00:22:40.460 their homes. You know, when we fired up Freedom Through Unity, it was originally for our convoys
00:22:47.200 and our events, and it quickly turned into more of a group for people to kind of congregate,
00:22:53.360 to share ideas, to keep in touch, to know that they weren't alone, to share information, to learn,
00:23:02.000 to educate others, and just to be there. And over the last past year and a half, I guess,
00:23:08.400 it's been um there's a handful of us that are doing wellness checks now so we see comments um
00:23:16.800 excuse me and um if they're alarming or somebody sends me a message or somebody else a message that
00:23:22.320 says hey i'm worried about this person we'll reach out with a wellness call and say hey
00:23:27.200 you doing okay do you need does that happen often melissa do you hear that happening often are people
00:23:32.080 like getting close we get about two or three a week that we're doing really yeah and then we do
00:23:40.240 follow-ups to make sure and we just make sure that you know we're always that they know that
00:23:46.320 we're always here somebody's listening somebody is listening to you you've got somebody monitoring
00:23:51.920 like all the time we just have they just we just put out our phone numbers like i'm not hard to find
00:23:57.040 right it's not none wow that so you do these personal wellness calls yourself right yeah
00:24:07.340 how do you manage i mean when you get through because i this is something that i've done in
00:24:13.960 the past if somebody reaches out to me and they sound man like suicidal right and you can tell
00:24:22.120 when somebody is kidding around versus when somebody is is quite serious you don't even
00:24:27.100 need to know them that well i don't think and so i've i've made a couple of phone calls like that
00:24:32.760 and whenever i do that personally it takes me a couple of days to recover from that because it's
00:24:38.420 almost like you are infusing the life energy that you have into that person to keep them going but
00:24:45.280 it drains you right for the next couple of days and it takes a while to get it back do you find
00:24:50.600 that also? Is it difficult? Sometimes it depends on the call. There's been times where I've hung
00:24:56.580 up the phone and I've cried myself to sleep, you know, but I have a really great team of people
00:25:04.160 behind me, friends and now that I call family and they are really amazing. So when I need to take
00:25:12.180 that step or that moment away because I've been up all night with somebody or, you know, I've just
00:25:18.660 been hit with a little bit of negativity that I need to deal with they're so quick to jump in
00:25:24.820 they're so quick to take that pressure away um and watch the group and respond to messages and
00:25:31.100 make sure the information is getting out there for me um and then they get me up to date when
00:25:35.980 I come back um I just lost my father a month ago and I took two and a half weeks off and the team
00:25:41.000 was so amazing you know and I already hear about your dad by the way uh thank you and I came back
00:25:47.240 you know with so much love and grace from everybody in the group and in the organization
00:25:54.140 and and it's really like you can't do it alone like I wouldn't advise anybody if you think that
00:26:00.740 you want to do something like this please don't do it alone make sure that you also have a support
00:26:05.760 team because some of the things you're going to hear aren't very nice they're hard to hear it's
00:26:11.960 hard to take it's hard to hear a fellow freedom fighter or canadian friend family member going
00:26:17.800 through these hard times and the things that they've contemplated doing is really tough so
00:26:22.960 don't do it alone make sure you've got your own support what do you say to some of these folks
00:26:28.140 keeping in mind that you're just regular people you're not psychologists or psychiatrists or
00:26:33.600 therapists or anything right you're just talking to people on their own level um if it's something
00:26:38.680 that i feel is over my head if it's something that um is very much um they need professional
00:26:45.160 assistance i will direct them to somebody that's more educated and more um experienced in that kind
00:26:51.360 of stuff um and you and sometimes just talking them down a little bit and then giving them a
00:27:00.380 follow-up call in the morning saying hey how are you feeling today since our conversation
00:27:04.500 Did you get a good night's sleep?
00:27:06.260 And then we'll kind of go through their routine and what their plan is for the day.
00:27:10.580 I always like to ask them, so what's your plan?
00:27:13.220 Let's make a plan tonight.
00:27:14.800 Right.
00:27:15.200 You know, let's just make a plan, and that's going to be our focus.
00:27:18.620 Let's not worry about tomorrow.
00:27:20.080 Let's worry about the plan that we're making right now.
00:27:22.800 And then in the morning when they've calmed down or they're kind of in a different head space,
00:27:27.840 and we'll talk about maybe a call to a doctor or a family member or a friend or somebody that's
00:27:35.100 close to them that they can reach out to. There's been a couple of times where I've sat in on the
00:27:40.420 phone call to a family member and said, you know, like, I'm just here. I'm just here to be an ear
00:27:46.580 for the two of you to have a conversation. So sometimes I just do that and just kind of be
00:27:52.520 the mediator you get in the middle sometimes that's that's got to be a fun place to be like
00:28:00.060 what's your personal story melissa i mean like before the freedom convoy i i generally ask
00:28:06.480 first-time guests on my show this question and it is what was your light bulb moment when did
00:28:12.460 you realize that there was something wrong and then further to that when did you decide that
00:28:18.320 you needed to do something about it? Well, I worked in healthcare and in the administration
00:28:25.180 department in healthcare pre-COVID. So I was starting to see a lot of
00:28:31.760 deception within our healthcare. I was starting to see like clients and patients falling through
00:28:41.840 the cracks that shouldn't be falling through the cracks. I started seeing, you know, funding and
00:28:47.620 money not going where it should go and I started to kind of in my own head like it's kind of odd
00:28:53.220 like we just got all this funding but nothing's been updated we haven't gotten any new equipment
00:29:00.140 what's going on here you know we've got these people in the retirement homes and in facilities
00:29:06.460 that are just there and there's there's just nothing like the nurses are dropping like flies
00:29:13.120 People are quitting or they're moving out of country to practice somewhere else.
00:29:18.820 And it really drew some red flags.
00:29:21.140 So I knew that there was a big problem in the health care sector.
00:29:25.780 And then when I started kind of peeking in on politics, because I didn't follow politics.
00:29:30.600 And I'll admit it, I was one of those Canadians that was just very, I guess, ignorant to what was going on in our country because I didn't follow politics.
00:29:38.880 Sure, I went and I voted, but I didn't really.
00:29:43.120 know what was going on did you ever vote for trudeau absolutely not okay that's great
00:29:49.680 so you were say yes you were educated at least to a point where you knew you hated trudeau when
00:29:56.900 other people were going oh my god he's here he's here he sucks i love him you know something it
00:30:02.160 was that it was that exactly um so when he first ran like the first time and everybody was like oh
00:30:08.900 this guy's got such great hair i'm like you guys are gonna pick our prime minister the man's gonna
00:30:14.440 run our country because of his hair right this is problematic people this is problematic yeah
00:30:20.440 maybe stop and think about it he's a trudeau and then when he hit first his first thing like his
00:30:26.340 headlines for his platform was i'm gonna legalize pot and i was like well i'm not a pot smoker so
00:30:31.000 bye so when covid hit did you instantly feel hoax or or were you genuinely concerned no i was
00:30:43.400 genuinely concerned i i will i will say that and i'm also um i'm also vaccinated um because i did
00:30:49.200 work in health care um no i was genuinely concerned i was i was watching some seniors get very very
00:30:55.940 ill and i was watching them die um you know and then when we started going into lockdowns
00:31:03.380 that was a bit excessive to me i was like um okay like they didn't even lock them down like
00:31:09.060 this during tuberculosis outbreak and scarlet fever like what's happening right now um that
00:31:15.940 kind of started kind of bobbling around in my head a bit and then when we refused patients to
00:31:24.100 see their loved ones the loved ones couldn't come in and they were dying and watching loved ones die
00:31:31.780 without their daughters or their sons or their spouses at their side um i thought this isn't
00:31:38.660 right this something's not right who who stops a loved one from being there these people are dying
00:31:47.140 anyway like what you're afraid they're going to catch a cold they're terminal yeah you kind of
00:31:55.020 then things started kind of going around but by then i had already been vaccinated and um were
00:32:00.920 you scared to take that shot i was nervous yeah i was nervous um the first one i i was i was nervous
00:32:08.500 but i was like you know okay okay you know like because we always have we had to take the flu
00:32:14.220 shot and all that and i'm not a big flu shot lover either um when you work in health care you have to
00:32:18.860 have all these immunizations um and you know that going into it right um so yes the first one i was
00:32:27.020 kind of nervous the second one um i didn't want to get the second one um but i needed my job right
00:32:37.980 and then you know and i put it off and put it off and put it off and then the pressure kept coming
00:32:42.460 the pressure kept coming and then i was told that i had till the end of the day
00:32:47.980 to get my vaccine and that it was just i could just go down the hall and the nurse would give it
00:32:51.740 to me and then i was watching psws and nurses leaving the facility they were taking their
00:32:58.540 leave of absence and going home to be with their families and um collecting serb you know they're
00:33:04.220 they couldn't get daycare for their kids and they couldn't um and all of a sudden it just kind of
00:33:10.060 hit me if every nurse in psw walks out this door who's looking after these people
00:33:19.820 right nobody there's nobody left that's crazy so i got up and i went and got my second vaccine
00:33:28.940 and i thought well i'm not trained but at least i'm here yeah
00:33:33.420 uh now mind you not all of them left but it's just the real fear right when you're hearing in
00:33:40.040 the news and you're and again mainstream media um you're hearing the news all these nurses that
00:33:45.860 are leaving and all these psws and all these doctors that are leaving and and it really does
00:33:52.220 instill a fear in you when you work in that industry like oh my goodness i'm not trained
00:33:56.740 what if all these people leave and i'm sitting here with all these sick people
00:34:00.660 at some point melissa and by the way guys for you joining late uh this is melissa outwater
00:34:07.620 she is the author of house of commons petition e-5024 a petition to get rid of the trudeau
00:34:15.520 government basically uh please go ahead and sign that when you get the opportunity so when did you
00:34:21.600 have your moment i mean there must have been you were at the freedom convoy you were going down
00:34:25.360 their weekends but you did get vaccinated so you had a moment there's a moment somewhere there's a
00:34:29.560 moment um so it was really when we went into our second lockdown um I was like okay enough this is
00:34:37.060 this is this is it I can't I'm not going to tell one more daughter that they're going to look at
00:34:42.980 their mother from a window and wave goodbye to her I'm not this is ridiculous something's going
00:34:48.660 on this isn't right I can't do this anymore and I got up from my desk and I walked out the door
00:34:52.980 and by the grace of god the freedom convoy came in um you know and then i started doing a little
00:35:01.360 bit more homework and a little bit more digging and then i started asking more questions i can't
00:35:06.360 went online and i found some people that were looking into the vaccines and um the lockdowns
00:35:13.880 and the covid policies and the rules and and what covid actually was um you know and i talked to um
00:35:20.860 a family member of mine that's also a nurse and she's like this is ridiculous absolutely ridiculous
00:35:27.660 and then i said we're in big trouble what kind of trouble how far down the rabbit hole did you fall
00:35:36.380 initially i went pretty far i'm not gonna lie i went pretty far and i mean i went to the part
00:35:44.300 where we were all gonna die and then i had to bring myself back up a little bit i was like
00:35:49.900 okay you're in way too deep now well there's a few different rabbit holes though right like i i
00:35:54.640 remember my first one my first rabbit hole i should write a kid's book um it was a friend of
00:36:02.120 mine called me up and said you know this is not what it seems and i had just spent two hours on
00:36:09.140 the phone talking somebody off the ledge who thought i'm gonna be stuck in spain for the next
00:36:14.060 two years they're like people are dying in the streets and i said don't worry it's not that bad
00:36:18.080 It's not, this is not going to happen.
00:36:20.180 Another friend of mine, just after that call,
00:36:22.500 another friend of mine says,
00:36:23.900 you know, this is just a scam, right?
00:36:25.700 And here's why.
00:36:27.280 And then she starts laying it out.
00:36:29.580 And I went, oh my God, that makes way too much sense.
00:36:32.260 And this is before the censorship started,
00:36:34.840 so you were able to access certain things.
00:36:37.800 And then over time, over the next three or four months,
00:36:40.840 things started to disappear off the internet
00:36:42.640 that you knew were there two months ago,
00:36:45.020 two weeks ago, even yesterday.
00:36:46.860 Wait a minute, where did this go?
00:36:48.080 i was just looking at it and you start to piece things together and then you have to dig deeper
00:36:53.520 for information deeper and deeper and deeper and i finally just said all right that's enough of this
00:36:58.420 and that's where this this show came from and ever since then every few months you'll get a new thing
00:37:04.220 and you go even further down another rabbit hole and you feel like you've been kicked in the schnuts
00:37:09.560 for me personally it's like did you think you were going crazy because i thought i was going crazy
00:37:14.320 yeah i thought okay i know i'm aging like i've but like come on like my mind's not gone yet
00:37:22.940 come on no no like i yeah yeah so yeah i did for a while i thought i was going crazy
00:37:29.240 so let me ask you then and this is without trying to make anybody sound uninformed or dumb because
00:37:36.840 we know that people you know there's a big difference between uninformed not knowing not
00:37:43.200 understanding dumb all of those things i have spoken and and even some of the smartest people
00:37:49.320 in the world fell for this nonsense and they're still falling for it so i have known spoken to
00:37:55.540 many different politicians federally municipally provincially in different provinces and some of
00:38:02.500 them most of them are completely and totally unaware of something called the great reset even
00:38:09.880 though there's a guy called klaus schwab who wrote the book which came out two months after they
00:38:14.360 declared a global pandemic right it's all there in his book it's all there in the literature on
00:38:23.400 the world economic forum website on the website of the united nations with their 17 sdgs it's all on
00:38:30.360 the the united nations website the world health organization's website there's even a website
00:38:35.880 called horizons.ca where they talk about bio uh biotechnical convergence or sorry bio digital
00:38:44.060 convergence that's the government of canada's website they're talking about fusing machine
00:38:51.460 and human right and and it's there and so you get called conspiracy theorists so
00:38:58.500 you tell these politicians these things melissa and they they think you're crazy they look at
00:39:06.300 you like you've got three heads yeah so when you speak to michelle we're talking about michelle
00:39:12.740 ferrari now the one the mp who sponsored uh melissa's petition does she have any inkling
00:39:19.940 about what might be going on or is she more concerned about working hard for her community
00:39:25.780 I honestly don't think that she is aware of the deeper, deeper rooted issues, you know.
00:39:40.740 And yeah, I do believe that there's quite a few of them that are in that same position.
00:39:47.900 And it is odd that it's in front of them and they don't see it.
00:39:51.640 but I think that they're also being very much distracted away from that
00:39:55.720 kind of stuff.
00:39:58.020 And she is very much...
00:39:58.540 Now, wait, wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
00:40:00.120 When you say distracted away from that stuff,
00:40:02.300 like what kinds of distractions?
00:40:03.800 Just normal everyday life distractions?
00:40:06.960 Yeah, I mean, look at the circus in the House of Commons.
00:40:08.640 Come on.
00:40:09.540 And, you know, like, what other government behaves like that?
00:40:14.460 Come on.
00:40:15.500 You know, and all the bills that keep coming out and the new legislation
00:40:18.600 and that they have to peel through.
00:40:20.880 like it's like it's like they're like onions right and they have to peel through all these
00:40:24.020 layers to get to the root of the actual piece of legislation that justin and uh jagmeet are trying
00:40:29.320 to put through so they're just constantly distracted by all this other stuff that i don't
00:40:36.520 think that they they have a moment to even delve into the real issues and the root of it all look
00:40:44.380 at this there's a guy called greg who's watching the show right now and he says come on can't tell
00:40:48.200 me they don't know shadow greg i am telling you yeah i don't think they do some of them don't
00:40:54.320 know now there's leslund lewis who has put out a petition or sponsored a petition to get
00:40:59.880 canada out of the united nations and that sounded kind of extreme to many people but to people like
00:41:06.080 us who are in the know we know what's going on with the united nations we know what they're
00:41:10.820 trying to do um it makes perfect sense right so and it's just like i mean when that petition was
00:41:20.660 out i got a lot of messages about that petition um do i sign this what does this mean um if we
00:41:28.680 leave the un what does that mean for canada what did you tell people when they were asking you this
00:41:33.720 I said freedom. I said, I don't want to tell anybody to sign anything that they don't fully understand. When you're signing these petitions, it's very important that you fully understand the gravity of what the petition is asking.
00:41:56.280 your name is going on these things um so you know i just say you know like well what does the un mean
00:42:03.700 to you like have you done your homework do you know what the un is like what why it was formed
00:42:08.540 what its job is what they do how much money they get from member nations each and every year like
00:42:15.280 billions of dollars this is an overblown bloated organization that yeah sure there's some good
00:42:22.040 things it does but it also controls the world health organization that tried to pass a global
00:42:27.960 pandemic health treaty so that they would have complete control over every single nation on the
00:42:33.180 planet when it comes to a pandemic which they can call at any time they want oh you know what there's
00:42:38.740 a blow we're gonna call a pandemic alert and then we all have to do what they tell us to do
00:42:43.360 we can't travel we can't do this a lot of people you know messaging me and call me saying hey like
00:42:48.560 you know, I'm against this whole thing. Like, you know, the UN is great. I'm like, okay,
00:42:56.840 but why? I mean, I want to hear you out. And I, I'm not going to disagree that the idea
00:43:02.940 of the UN is great. Um, what it was originally designed to do was a good idea,
00:43:11.700 but what it's turned into and how it's now manipulating every other country and how it's
00:43:20.860 kind of taking over really um it's manipulating our prime ministers and our presidents around the
00:43:26.440 world um no i don't agree with that and neither should you hey melissa do you know uh colleen
00:43:34.640 branzy okay colleen uh is vaccine injured she's also a nurse and she's written here in the comments
00:43:42.140 uh she means to say melissa here it says alissa she corrects herself uh in the very next comment
00:43:47.320 but she says i'll help you enlighten michelle you can do have you ever thought to because i i know
00:43:55.800 that you guys aren't best friends you and michelle um yeah yeah she's your mp but have you've sat with
00:44:03.240 her you've had conversations with her have you ever thought to maybe try and go a little deeper
00:44:08.480 with her on this has the opportunity ever arisen where you might go hmm she's ready to hear this
00:44:15.020 we've had a couple conversations where um she's asked a couple questions i've been like oh is
00:44:22.300 this my moment um do i do i start sliding in all all the stuff um but i i firmly believe that you
00:44:33.560 know people need to know when the time is right for them um if i start throwing and hammering all
00:44:42.980 this information at her um that's when people start to kind of back away and we start to sound
00:44:48.300 like conspiracy theorists um and then they start to like not trust us right and so i just don't
00:44:55.580 i don't like to push stuff on like even my neighbors i have my one neighbor she's very
00:45:00.780 very much liberal um she loves justin very much and and her dental care um that she's got um you
00:45:12.220 know and every once in a while she'll ask me a question and i i'll honestly answer her but then
00:45:18.060 I can see her eyes and it's almost like fear. There's almost a fear that comes for some
00:45:27.540 people. They don't want to know because if they learn it, they can't unlearn it. And
00:45:34.720 then that means that they've been lied to and the person that they trusted so, so much
00:45:41.380 has betrayed them um and that's a hard pill to swallow for a lot of the liberal supporters
00:45:48.660 especially our seniors um you know they've been voting that way since the beginning of time
00:45:54.000 so you can you can see it in their in their face and i um i mean if they come and ask questions
00:46:01.220 i'm more than happy to share as much information with them as i can until their eyes floss over
00:46:05.540 and then they're not listening anymore but have you ever seen anybody have that dr strange moment
00:46:10.760 where it's like yeah yeah we had there was a girl that came up to one of the events and i want to
00:46:19.500 say it was in toronto that we went up to and she just happened to be walking through queen's park
00:46:24.640 and um she started asking everybody a bunch of questions about why were we here and what's with
00:46:29.800 all how come nobody here liked trudeau what was going on and what's with all the rude flags and
00:46:35.500 um you know a couple of people who were standing there i'm sorry i'm sorry hold on just when you
00:46:42.420 say rude flags i mean to people like us when we see those f trudeau flags it's like just looking
00:46:47.440 at a couch or a pair of shoes it's just normal right and they walk up and they see this and
00:46:51.980 they go oh my god that's so offensive yeah yeah so i i kind of was like off to the side a little
00:46:59.260 and i'm listening to her and she's and and the freedom fighters that were she was asking they
00:47:05.080 were almost like deers caught in the headlights they were like i'm sorry what like what are you
00:47:10.280 asking me yeah um so they started kind of you know like hey like did you hear about the convoy and
00:47:16.360 she was like what convoy what's a convoy and then there's the truckers that went to ottawa
00:47:21.880 and she's like i heard something about that but didn't they all get arrested
00:47:25.400 oh my god you know some people just still don't know it's so bizarre that the biggest protest
00:47:37.480 and rising in canadian history really and some people are just absolutely unaware that it even
00:47:45.160 happened therefore us out there running around with these rude flags right right they don't
00:47:52.860 understand they don't know so there is still a lot of work to do on getting the word out um i just
00:47:59.520 urge to err with caution when you're doing it because you don't want again to push somebody
00:48:04.880 over the edge either right what do you think the signs are that somebody's ready like is it when
00:48:10.280 they come and ask you okay what's really going on or do you have to like notice like you spend a
00:48:17.060 couple of days with the person you know and go huh they might be ready now or after a drink or
00:48:22.580 something you know like no it's never gonna work that maybe after a joint alcohol is never a good
00:48:30.020 mixture um i think really it's when you start so when you start going to events that i'm sure
00:48:36.180 you've been to a few and you've had people on i'm sure all the the viewers that are watching tonight
00:48:40.720 can contest this as well you get to see all the faces um you might not meet them all um and you
00:48:48.240 might not know them on a personal level but when i go to events i recognize the people they're all
00:48:54.320 the same people so when there's a new person they stand out like a sore thumb like we notice
00:49:00.580 like hey that person's new and then you'll see a new member pop up and then you go and check
00:49:07.800 their profile and it's hey it's that person that was at that event um so now things are clicking
00:49:13.380 Now they're curious, and they're asking questions, and they want to know, and that's your moment.
00:49:19.360 But hunting them down and stuff is not a good approach, I don't think.
00:49:24.220 Hunting them down.
00:49:25.920 Well, that's what I call it.
00:49:27.980 When we first started doing it, we were out there on the streets pounding the pavement, and we were like, hey, you need to hear what we're saying, and you need to.
00:49:36.360 And we were handing out flyers and papers everywhere.
00:49:40.640 Hunting them down.
00:49:43.380 I'll hunt you down, man.
00:49:45.000 I'm going to get you.
00:49:48.320 So your last petition, Melissa, it got 387,000 signatures,
00:49:53.300 and that is by far the largest House of Commons petition ever.
00:49:57.000 That was wild.
00:49:57.980 Yeah, I can't even imagine, you know, viral in 30 days yet.
00:50:02.960 And so it gets presented in the next sitting of Parliament,
00:50:08.040 and then like the liberals did nothing with this petition 387 000 signatures what was your reaction
00:50:19.640 when it was presented and went over like a lead balloon like did you think that they were gonna
00:50:24.860 maybe address it and maybe look into it a bit more you think that 387 000 signatures would
00:50:31.740 scared trudeau and his minions i thought it would no um so in the rules of petitions they don't have
00:50:39.820 to um they don't have to give you what you asked for um and so going into it we knew like i mean
00:50:48.780 we knew that trudeau um and jagmeet were never going to call that voter no confidence
00:50:53.500 um for the people um and we knew that even if well pierre did pierre called one um and we knew
00:51:00.700 that we weren't going to win it um but in the rules if it's presented in red then they have to
00:51:07.740 respond um and they have 45 days to do so so the clock was ticking and i was fingers crossed as the
00:51:17.020 weeks went by that they didn't respond because if they hadn't have responded we could have then
00:51:22.700 filed a motion against them and michelle would have been able to form a committee of her choice
00:51:27.420 and we would have been able to come at them with the hard questions um and continue and follow
00:51:34.240 with the democratic process but they waited until the 45th day at 6 p.m and jennifer o'connell sent
00:51:41.820 the response she's the worst she's the worst i'm sorry go ahead yeah no she she totally is and her
00:51:50.680 response was um so like slap in your face it just you know she she pretty much told us that
00:52:02.080 canadians exercised their democratic rights in the 44th general election when 17 million in change
00:52:09.500 canadians went out to the polls um and that they would have to wait until the 45th general election
00:52:17.020 was pretty much a response to us.
00:52:21.080 And me and Michelle sat on that for a bit.
00:52:23.160 It was a hard pill to swallow.
00:52:24.360 I was pretty ticked.
00:52:27.440 And we sent an email.
00:52:29.560 We responded.
00:52:31.680 And we waited.
00:52:32.840 Nothing, of course.
00:52:34.140 And then the little buzzes of election interference
00:52:39.240 started flying around.
00:52:41.060 And more censorship was coming.
00:52:44.680 all these things started happening and i started getting bombarded and so did michelle with emails
00:52:51.820 and phone calls and messages like can we not you know we want to sign that petition is it too late
00:52:58.460 can we open it back up what can we do um we didn't get to sign it so many canadians didn't know about
00:53:03.900 it it wasn't open long enough um we and then a couple of them had said like you know they felt
00:53:10.900 like they had been kind of shafted, that it was only open for 30 days. And that made me feel really
00:53:18.500 bad. I felt really bad. I didn't want any Canadian to feel shafted in any way, but it was to prove a
00:53:24.400 point. That petition was solely to put pressure into the House of Commons and to let them know
00:53:35.340 that we're awake, we're watching, and we're listening. And it worked. I was there the day
00:53:43.320 it was read. I was actually sitting right above Justin, and he fidgeted all day, all day, kept
00:53:51.020 playing with something while he was sitting in his chair. And then he, of course, he darted out
00:53:56.040 of there so fast after question period. But then when I met with Michelle, after she read it,
00:54:02.620 she had said, you know, it was tense in there. And then afterwards, she said, it hasn't been
00:54:09.380 the same since that petition was read. They're feeling the pressure, Canada. They're feeling it.
00:54:16.120 You know, your 387,487 Canadians rose to the challenge. They rose their voices in the House
00:54:25.340 of Commons. And those voices will forever ring an echo in the halls of the House of Commons
00:54:31.620 for eternity your names will forever be archived in the house of commons
00:54:38.540 and for that you should all be extremely proud of yourselves
00:54:42.540 so the new one is going to be open for signatures until october the second and it's been available
00:54:51.000 i think since the beginning of this month and so far we've got i'm going to say 7 500 signatures
00:54:56.000 on it I guess the urgency is not quite there yet because we know that we've got a few months to
00:55:02.500 sign this so people realize ah I can go on summer vacation I go to the cottage I come back and I can
00:55:07.060 sign this thing but all they're really doing negativity about it right what do you what do
00:55:11.480 you mean well they're you know the first one didn't do anything the first one didn't work
00:55:15.760 we didn't get what we wanted it wasn't successful um and I was speaking to a friend of mine and I
00:55:22.500 said to her you know it's so frustrating you know everybody keeps telling me that the first one
00:55:27.100 wasn't successful and it was her that reminded me to define success like what is success because
00:55:33.160 success doesn't mean you get everything you wanted so I think that 4701 was very successful
00:55:40.360 in its own right it brought the nation together it woke up almost 400,000 Canadians your voices
00:55:47.480 were heard in the house of commons they're still using those numbers and your voices in debate
00:55:52.400 and argument and conversation in the House of Commons.
00:55:55.540 It's talked about everywhere.
00:55:59.140 You know, it was successful.
00:56:00.880 No, we didn't get our vote of no confidence.
00:56:04.020 Well, we did, but we got a vote of no confidence,
00:56:06.920 but we knew that we weren't going to win that vote.
00:56:09.160 I mean, the NDP, you know, like, are they protecting pensions
00:56:12.880 or is it something more nefarious, do you think?
00:56:15.920 They're 100% protecting their pensions.
00:56:18.020 I mean, let's be real.
00:56:18.980 If you could move the election a week later, you can definitely move it a week ahead.
00:56:27.960 And to use, you know, this religious holiday, and I mean, it's not really a holiday.
00:56:34.520 It's a day of recognition.
00:56:37.560 We've never moved our election for this day of recognition before.
00:56:42.680 Why this year?
00:56:44.840 Like, come on, you know.
00:56:47.460 so no it's not for any other reason than to save the pensions of 80 plus mps what is the goal
00:56:57.300 number of the new petition so the goal number is two million seven hundred and forty five thousand
00:57:08.580 why that exact number there was 7 million and change that came to the polls and a lot in the
00:57:18.640 44th general election justin won that election on i believe it's 32 percent
00:57:25.740 well 32 percent of the 7 million and change is just under 6 million people so under 6 million
00:57:37.440 canadians voted so the two the two um million is half it's half of what voted for him right
00:57:48.580 so if that's the minimum that we come in with then we've now said that half of
00:57:56.500 the people that voted for him have said no goodbye
00:57:59.860 now we used to have recall legislation um back in the day 1999 was the last piece of
00:58:08.340 recall legislation that was brought forward it was not it was um turned down um and in that
00:58:15.220 legislation it's actually a really good piece of legislation and i wish that we could bring it
00:58:20.640 forward again but you can't but um it had stated that you only they only needed 25 percent
00:58:28.560 to do a recall on an mp right right that's right you know what i'm going to do people are asking
00:58:36.620 in comments right now please go ahead please go ahead melissa you know and it was justin's dad
00:58:41.100 that removed the we did have recall legislation it was justin's dad that removed that recall
00:58:47.020 legislation when he was of course it was of course it was people hated him almost as much as his son
00:58:53.200 you know like they call the original they they call they they call uh the original trudeau the
00:59:02.240 original virus and then uh his son the variant oh that's a good one i like that yeah i like that i
00:59:08.480 people are asking what's this new petition so even now after it's been out for a couple of weeks
00:59:13.500 they're still asking they don't know so i'm going to throw this up in comments again
00:59:18.300 again in on twitter and on facebook yeah so the reason that we did it a second time too like a
00:59:26.720 lot of people are asking to you know like we already did this like why are we doing it again
00:59:30.980 well the time is now we'll never be we don't have this opportunity again this is it this is your
00:59:38.800 last shot by the time this petition ends and by the time the house comes back into sitting by the
00:59:44.640 time it's red they get their 45 days to respond we don't have time to put another petition in
00:59:51.280 before the scheduled election um because you can't you can't call for an early election within so
01:00:00.000 many days before um uh a regulated election so yeah this is it this is your final this is your
01:00:10.460 final chance and is it is it melissa is it incredibly important that we get these these
01:00:15.880 buffoons out of office before the scheduled election it will cost us billions of dollars
01:00:23.580 to pay out those pensions not just the pensions i mean all of the other legislation that's
01:00:29.060 absolutely idiotic you know the longer this legislation stays in play the harder it is to
01:00:35.720 get rid of um we do have um this status quo um you know that we have in canada so the longer
01:00:45.000 something stays in play the harder it is to get rid of it because then they they play the status
01:00:49.860 quo card right um so we it's just super important that canadians get on this and they share it so
01:00:56.980 for every person that signs this petition share it to 10 people and ask each one of them to then
01:01:03.480 share it to 10 of their friends and family yeah guys you know what it's not just something you're
01:01:08.660 like you're not doing us any favors this is your duty as a patriotic canadian to sign this petition
01:01:15.700 and then share it to 10 other people i want to ask you melissa one more question before we wrap
01:01:21.680 it up tonight and by the way you're welcome back anytime you've been a fantastic guest and you're
01:01:26.200 doing a great thing not just one great thing you've done a lot of work to help people over
01:01:31.120 the last few years what is canada to you
01:01:41.760 it it's my pride my home it's my place of refuge right like it's i've traveled and you know i'm
01:01:51.040 very proud when i when i go and people say where are you from and you know i say canada with the
01:01:56.640 utmost you know proudness and it's tougher to say now isn't it with trudeau and all the getting
01:02:04.800 really hard you know um i was down in florida when actually just when the petition the last one was
01:02:11.280 just about wrapping up and i was at a restaurant and my friends were introducing me to some people
01:02:16.560 and they said oh you're from canada and i said yeah yeah i am yeah
01:02:24.800 like instead of yes i am right yeah and they like you have that you have that trudeau guy
01:02:31.520 i'm like yeah you got that biden guy yeah we can we can fight fire with fire on that one
01:02:38.960 let me ask you this let me another one it's a quickie and it's more of a fun one would you
01:02:43.600 rather have and i know this is neither the answer the correct answer is neither but if you had to
01:02:48.960 choose one of them trudeau or biden which one would it be oh it's tough it's a tough one
01:03:03.760 i think biden why
01:03:08.560 because he doesn't remember anything he did so you can just convince him that he didn't do that
01:03:13.600 just tell him through that door is is the most money in the world you'll ever see
01:03:19.740 and he'll just go he'll wander off that sir you didn't do that what are you talking about you
01:03:23.840 didn't do that melissa thank you for coming on tonight how can we find you on on social media
01:03:29.300 where can we get a hold of you i'm sure there's all kinds of people that are going to want to
01:03:32.400 talk to you now especially now you can uh you can just search uh melissa ann and you'll find
01:03:37.460 me on facebook uh freedom through unity peterborough kawartha um we're also on twitter
01:03:42.960 i guess it's called x now um and insta and tiktok all right melissa thank you for coming on thank
01:03:50.920 you for everything you've done absolutely you're a blast and uh if ever you want to get a message
01:03:56.160 out to the people let me know and we'll definitely do it for sure 100 thank you thank you melissa
01:04:02.320 have a great night yes you too take care all right yeah there is melissa outwater guys she is
01:04:07.280 the author of uh house of comments petition e-5024 this is a petition to
01:04:17.280 have a vote of no confidence in the house and to get rid of the liberal ndp coalition
01:04:24.200 even if it doesn't happen even if it doesn't happen at least we can have that vote and maybe
01:04:31.520 the bloc, who knows, maybe the bloc supports the conservatives in that motion. Maybe the NDP with
01:04:37.540 all of this Chinese interference supports the conservatives in that motion. But Jagmeet Singh,
01:04:42.820 I do have to give him credit. He has played this fairly well by saying that, yeah, I'm very
01:04:48.900 concerned about that NSACOP report in who's still sitting in the House of Commons that probably
01:04:54.620 shouldn't be. Then he points a finger at Trudeau over here and he points a finger at Paliyev over
01:05:00.020 there, insinuating that there are some conservative problems as well when it comes to giving top
01:05:08.020 secret information to foreign hostile governments.
01:05:14.000 And Polyeb has yet to read the report, so he doesn't know.
01:05:18.100 But the reason he's not reading that report is because if he does, he'd be sworn through
01:05:22.640 a nondisclosure agreement that he could never tell anybody, anybody, not even his wife,
01:05:27.560 what he read in that report the names and whatnot so it right now it's just it's a shit show sorry
01:05:33.740 for my language but that's what it is and hopefully they'll find a way and i think there's going to be
01:05:40.120 a leak it's not going to be generated by the government or any political party but there's
01:05:46.900 going to be a leak there's going to be some inside whistleblower that spills the beans
01:05:50.880 on which MPs and possible senators and bureaucrats were involved
01:05:55.360 in giving China, India, Iran, and other hostile countries
01:05:59.880 this vital information.
01:06:01.660 And once we get that leak, the NDP will have no choice
01:06:05.980 in a vote of non-confidence to bring down
01:06:08.800 this minority liberal government finally.
01:06:12.120 Finally, completely, let's get rid of them.
01:06:16.560 Okay, guys, one last thing before we move to the extension
01:06:19.980 on shadow davis.com if you're not an all access member go there s-h-a-d-o-e-d-a-v-i-s.com and
01:06:26.200 sign up for your monthly or yearly membership so you can catch the extension all the extra content
01:06:31.600 we put out there and there's going to be more and more and more coming there's a couple on youtube
01:06:36.240 cypher and fox and their show is called northern perspective and i only became aware of this show
01:06:44.700 i'm going to say three or four months ago and at first i hated it and the reason that i hated it
01:06:49.520 was because they never came on camera these two they were just cartoons but they talked about
01:06:57.460 some very interesting things and they cover canadian politics extremely well and they give
01:07:03.200 their opinions and their conservative opinions sometimes they're right most of the time they're
01:07:08.080 right i'm not talking about their opinions i'm talking now about the actual information they
01:07:12.240 provide and a few times they're wrong which is fine to be expected they are not journalists
01:07:17.800 they're just regular canadians like you and i well what's happened to them
01:07:24.680 in the last couple of days is cypher the dude on the show because their husband and wife
01:07:30.060 well let's let them tell you and if you guys know who these two are i would love to bring them on
01:07:41.320 the show for an interview because i think they do fantastic work and i think they deserve as
01:07:48.120 much exposure as we can possibly give them having said that they do have over 70 000 followers on
01:07:54.620 youtube keeping in mind that i just got another strike on youtube last week so my show is not
01:08:00.260 allowed on there until this coming friday night that's why i don't muck around too much with
01:08:07.080 youtube because i guess i say the wrong things and these two don't talk about some of the things that
01:08:12.600 we discuss on this show they're mostly politics but again they are exposing canadians to what
01:08:19.580 really goes on in the house of commons and the more aware and the more filled with knowledge we
01:08:25.620 you know we are about how government actually works the better we can hold these clowns to
01:08:30.600 account. So this is the most recent video that Cypher and Fox of Northern Perspective put out.
01:08:37.260 Let's watch. For 18 months, we have worked to expose corruption, inform Canadians, and search
01:08:44.020 for the truth that we all deserve. And we have done this anonymously. We promised to hide who we
01:08:52.900 were for only as long as necessary and now that
01:08:57.860 for over a year you've known us as cypher and fox the voices behind northern perspective
01:09:06.980 our real names
01:09:08.540 are ryan and tanya and we're just a regular canadian family living in the riding of flamborough
01:09:18.120 lambrook okay i'm going to today we stand before you not just as voices behind this
01:09:25.220 this is clearly not working out too well screen
01:09:29.800 but as ordinary canadians sorry about this you guys and justice until recently
01:09:41.240 I worked as a public servant for the federal government.
01:09:46.640 In March of 2024, the Treasury Board Secretariat issued a directive.
01:09:57.020 And that directive was ordering all government employees to disclose any side income that they may have to their employer.
01:10:04.760 We believe that our extensive work on the ArriveCAN scandal was a direct consequence to this directive being issued.
01:10:16.960 So, as a result of that, I disclosed Northern Perspective to my employer.
01:10:24.380 Shortly after that, I was given a choice.
01:10:29.800 Some would say an ultimatum.
01:10:31.580 Now, this was despite the fact that what we were doing was not illegal, and despite the fact that all activity related to Northern Perspective was on my private time, on my own equipment, and done anonymously.
01:10:58.360 This was despite the fact that I had a distinguished performance record.
01:11:06.120 This was an impossible choice for me and our family.
01:11:10.980 As many of you know, I am the sole income earner in our household.
01:11:16.160 We also have a young autistic son whose therapies are expensive and were being funded by the additional income we earned through Northern Perspective.
01:11:25.600 we have always stood for the right to speak freely to criticize when necessary and to hold our
01:11:32.220 leaders accountable we believe it is the right and the duty of every canadian to speak out against
01:11:39.140 corruption and fox and i believe that we fulfill this duty through our work with northern perspective
01:11:45.000 so on one hand i have my job with the government that is paying for our bills paying for our
01:11:53.360 mortgage, paying for all of the other things that Canadians have to pay for, except twice as much
01:11:59.380 under Trudeau. And then we have all of the expenses related to my son's therapy that Northern
01:12:06.020 Perspective pays for. So really, what was the choice? It was Cease Northern Perspective, which
01:12:16.240 Yes, it helps contribute to the therapy funding for my son, but it also helps to expose the corruption of this liberal NDP government.
01:12:28.140 It serves to educate Canadians on Parliament.
01:12:31.460 It serves to call out a multitude of scandals and ensure that our fellow Canadians get to understand how their government works.
01:12:43.800 because informed citizens
01:12:46.860 is something that the government doesn't like
01:12:50.760 too much
01:12:51.320 because informed citizens can hold their government to account
01:12:56.320 so that was the ultimatum before me
01:13:00.740 and we have a commitment
01:13:05.320 to stand up for free speech
01:13:07.340 and we have a commitment to stand up for our principles
01:13:10.020 so what was it going to be?
01:13:13.800 Well, needless to say, since I'm talking before you now, that Northern Perspective is still operating, and I am no longer an employee of the federal government.
01:13:28.860 Canadians should not be afraid of losing their jobs just for speaking out against our government.
01:13:33.800 It is the right and it is the duty of every Canadian citizen to speak out against corruption wherever they see it, even in the most top levels of government.
01:13:43.800 You know, one thing that we've learned in our journey in Northern Perspective is that we never thought we would end up building a community ourselves.
01:13:58.620 And it's a community of people who thought they were alone.
01:14:03.380 They thought they were alone in, you know, seeing what was going on with this country.
01:14:08.620 and it's it's it's citizens canada's citizens that is our biggest strength
01:14:19.300 not not the borders not not the land that we live on it's the people
01:14:26.320 and there are millions of people across this country that believe in free speech that believe
01:14:36.980 in freedom from government and we couldn't sit idly by and worry about this happening to another
01:14:45.720 canadian family another canadian family who has to choose between providing their son with therapy
01:14:52.460 or the job that is providing for that family that is not a fair choice
01:14:59.060 and nobody nobody should be forced to make that choice
01:15:03.920 not in this country
01:15:06.680 other countries sure you would expect that
01:15:11.440 not Canada
01:15:13.340 that's not the Canada that we were born in
01:15:17.780 and that's not the Canada that I'm going to choose to live in
01:15:22.240 and I'm going to make that a better place
01:15:24.040 and it's not the Canada we want to raise our son in
01:15:27.620 now we don't believe
01:15:32.640 in running away we don't believe in being silenced and we won't be
01:15:39.960 we won't be silenced we won't be bought because our free speech is not for sale
01:15:48.140 what we will do is take a stand and we invite all of you to join us in taking that stand
01:15:58.680 against this government because enough is enough this government thinks it can act with impunity
01:16:06.000 and do whatever it wants it's going to be ordinary citizens like all of us who are going to stand up
01:16:13.440 and say no more it's time for ordinary people to do extraordinary things
01:16:20.920 so the gloves are off canada and it's time to get to work
01:16:27.780 wow i uh i feel for them i really enjoy their content you know like i said at the beginning
01:16:39.920 when i first heard of them i kind of went i don't know about this they're cartoons they don't show
01:16:44.540 their faces and uh uh i i got they grew on me and i started listening to them probably once a day
01:16:53.240 and now seeing them like this telling their story and and seeing their faces for the very first time
01:17:00.400 you realize yeah they're just a couple of people like us like everybody else and they've built
01:17:04.560 their community and they are informing canadians they've built quite a following on youtube i'm
01:17:11.580 not sure if they're on any other platforms right now but they they talk about it you know they talk
01:17:20.100 about it and i think that is so important i'm not telling everybody watching this show right now hey
01:17:29.060 you got to go out and start your own podcast or live stream you don't have to you some of you
01:17:33.420 would be terrified to do that i totally understand i totally get that i think these two uh fox and
01:17:40.600 cypher were probably scared to appear on camera for the first time as well they didn't look
01:17:49.160 comfortable especially because they were telling this story about what happened they'll get used
01:17:56.280 to it and they'll grow more and more comfortable being on camera and speaking to you the community
01:18:02.960 and revealing things that we may otherwise never have found out based upon the fact that the left
01:18:10.100 wing corporate media never covers some of the stuff that we talk about and they go through guys
01:18:14.560 they go through now this is something i i don't do i'm going to be completely honest with you here
01:18:20.580 i just haven't got enough hours in the day they go through committee and they will go ahead and
01:18:24.840 release a couple of videos a day that may be 15 or 20 minutes long kind of like the celtic canuck
01:18:30.000 same but different um where they go through the minutiae of what happens in a committee meeting
01:18:38.080 whatever justice committee heritage committee it doesn't matter where they bring in
01:18:42.820 witnesses and they watch these witnesses get grilled mostly by conservative mps never by
01:18:49.800 liberal mps and sometimes by ndp mps but these are the things that you know the the marxist
01:18:57.380 corporate media never covers that we get to see and then we get their commentary from a couple
01:19:03.080 of average canadians you know like an average canadian family and they do it fairly well and
01:19:08.540 we should support them so if anybody knows them i would love to have them on the show at some point
01:19:15.240 and i will be reaching out as well to try and get them on the show in the next week or so ken
01:19:21.060 drysdale of manitoba stronger together and the nci the national citizens inquiry joins the show
01:19:27.900 tomorrow night we're going to talk about the big event coming up the stronger together conference
01:19:32.180 coming up this weekend at bose's your friday saturday and sunday i'll be a panel moderator
01:19:36.240 We understand that our friend, oh, Jason Levine is going to be there as well.
01:19:45.160 Dr. Mark Trotsy is going to be there.
01:19:48.040 There's going to be a lot of great people for you to meet, for all of us to listen to.
01:19:55.760 And here's some fantastic discussions about what steps that we, as a society, need to take next
01:20:03.000 so that we can get our country back.
01:20:06.240 it's important. As for something Melissa said earlier tonight, I want to elaborate on it.
01:20:12.760 She said that there are so many people out there that still don't know what is really going on.
01:20:18.700 They haven't been pilled at all. Not red, not blue, not black. They don't know. They are living
01:20:25.000 in a dome, a cone of silence, a cave. They haven't got a clue. So when I talk about things that I
01:20:34.920 have talked about before on this show when i post things on social media that i have posted before
01:20:39.520 and i get comments from people like well i already knew that i've known that like why are you putting
01:20:44.500 this up it's old news look at this is something i learned in radio years ago and i always tried
01:20:51.180 to practice as much as it drove me crazy when you hear a song get played over and over and over and
01:20:58.880 over and over and over again you hear it as an insider especially when i was on the radio playing
01:21:07.420 rock music i would hear like when when money talks let's call acdc money talks when that was
01:21:12.440 first released as a single we had to play that every three and a half hours which worked out to
01:21:17.760 about seven times per day sometimes i would play that song twice in my show and i'd be so sick of
01:21:25.220 it like after a month it's like oh we gotta stop playing this man it's driving me crazy i would go
01:21:31.600 down to the program director's office and i'd say enough with this song and he'd say dude there's
01:21:36.180 some people that have never even heard this before what are you even talking about it's just brand
01:21:40.240 new it's going to be in that high rotation for another two months maybe longer well that's how
01:21:48.240 we have to look at the information that we know already. There's people out there that have never
01:21:55.520 heard it before. And I'm not even talking about the people who are awake like us. I'm talking
01:22:00.040 about the people out there who have never heard any of this before. And if they hear just one
01:22:06.120 thing and it makes them go, what? What? Then they might take that one piece of information and go
01:22:14.080 looking and do a search and fall down their own rabbit hole and then guess what then they become
01:22:21.380 awake like us and we can rely on them to tell 10 of their friends and that's how this is going to
01:22:28.860 work so let's not try to criticize if if people are repeating things that you already know
01:22:35.220 because there's still probably the vast majority of canadians out there that don't
