The StoneZONE with Roger Stone - Joe Pags ｜ 05-05-25

00:00:00.000 this is the stone zone with roger stone they went after a guy named roger stone who's sitting in the

00:00:16.040 office and i'll say this in front of roger he's no baby and right now he's cleaner than anybody

00:00:20.920 in this place now as i treated him very unfairly now get in the zone it's the stone zone here's

00:00:29.540 roger stone welcome back we're in the stone zone and joining us now is my friend joe peglia rulo

00:00:39.300 widely known as joe pegs he's a nationally syndicated radio and television talk show host

00:00:45.520 known for his pungent and dynamic blend of news commentary and humor joe i'm going to be honest

00:00:53.320 with you virtually everything i know about radio i have learned by listening to you it's a great

00:00:59.240 honor to have you in the stone zone today well i'm listen roger you gotta be kidding me i mean

00:01:05.780 that is an absolute honor thank you for saying that by the way thank you for being my second

00:01:10.200 guest ever on my new podcast coming up we can get into details of that coming up but thank you for

00:01:14.920 everything that you're doing i love listening to you i love having you on the show and i love learning

00:01:18.580 from you my man you can listen to joe's show by going to joe pegs.com joe pegs.com i am not

00:01:26.320 understating what i say he's one of the most influential uh voices in the country today when

00:01:32.440 it comes to calling out the fake news and telling you what's really going on in fact uh joe has been

00:01:38.740 recognized by talkers magazine which is kind of the industry standard as one of the most influential

00:01:45.320 talk show hosts in the country so joe let me just uh start with a softball a hundred days plus now

00:01:52.340 how's donald trump doing well it's an a for me roger it's not an a plus not an a minus it's an

00:01:58.360 a for me the only one thing that i thought was kind of a misstep was and you and i talked about

00:02:03.260 this before was how they rolled out the tariff information i'm for tariffs i think they're going

00:02:08.140 to work it's a great leverage play but the way the president rolled it out now i'm not blaming him

00:02:12.880 it took too long by april 2nd when he came out with the chart that said this is how they're screwing us

00:02:17.980 on trade that made perfect sense to every american but for about two and a half months

00:02:22.700 most americans were like i don't like it it's just an extra tax it's going to make the

00:02:26.100 the prices go up everything else he promised it he ended up doing it and if he did nothing else

00:02:32.260 roger the fact that he closed the southern border what that was all i needed i mean to be honest

00:02:37.120 with you he could do the rest of it over the next four years and and i trust him to do it he

00:02:40.980 crammed so much into the first hundred days i just thought the tariffs were a little bit clunky

00:02:45.300 but other than that i give him a solid a yeah i think actually in his heart of hearts he doesn't

00:02:50.480 really like tariffs he'd love to go to zero tariffs with all of our trading partners and have a mutually

00:02:56.080 beneficial relationship but that hasn't been the truth we haven't had a free trade and we haven't

00:03:01.780 had fair trade and therefore he will use tariffs as a cudgel to make our trading partners give us a

00:03:08.260 fair deal and he rejects these one size fits all trade agreements like gat for example uh and nafta

00:03:17.000 uh because they they did not serve our country well uh what's amazing to me is the way the liberal media

00:03:25.380 uh when they deal with the immigration issue you just referred to continue to misrepresent who this

00:03:32.620 guy kilmar abrigo garcia is i keep calling him a quote unquote maryland man as if he is a u.s citizen

00:03:40.500 with the rights of a u.s citizen when in fact there is no question that he is a violent ms 13 illegal 0.83

00:03:48.520 gangbanger he's a violent gang member but the liberal media wants to rewrite the narrative

00:03:55.140 well let's be absolutely clear about who the guy is what you just said is absolutely correct

00:04:00.520 he is an el salvador citizen and he's back home in el salvador he's a guy who twice was adjudicated by

00:04:06.720 two different judges as being a member of ms 13 they believed an undercover informant they did not

00:04:11.500 believe a regular cia he is a guy who got due process by asking for asylum and was denied and had a final

00:04:17.420 deportation order the only thing that was keeping him in the country was there was a withholding of

00:04:22.800 removal only to el salvador they could have sent him anywhere else they wanted to but many make the

00:04:27.860 argument that that's gone because president trump made ms 13 and trendy aragua violent terrorist

00:04:34.740 organizations if you're a terrorist in this country you don't get the same exact due process as somebody

00:04:39.700 else he got due process he was here illegally he was allegedly human trafficking twice his wife

00:04:45.340 reported him for allegedly domestic violence and beating the hell out of her this is not a good guy

00:04:50.300 the fact that one of our senators out of the hundred that we have went down there

00:04:53.620 and had margaritas or something you know over lunch with him is disgusting he even has the tattoos on 0.62

00:04:59.200 his on his uh fingers that represent they symbolize ms 13 roger you're spot on this guy is a bad guy

00:05:05.780 and i look i'm gonna be honest with you i want the media to keep on reporting it the way they are because

00:05:10.180 every time they do their ratings and their approval go go way down i think they're at 20 percent now

00:05:15.260 maybe 22 percent approval the media they're not believable anymore that's why people like you have such a

00:05:20.080 great show it's i was shocked when i saw this uh guy at abc who frankly i'd never seen before

00:05:26.500 actually challenged the president and claimed that those tattoos that the president displayed a picture

00:05:31.820 of on the guy's knuckles gang tattoos were photoshopped and i checked they're not photoshopped

00:05:36.900 they're real it's beyond belief yeah beyond belief well what happened was somebody added the mds the one

00:05:43.880 and the three just to show what the symbols represented and terry moran was acting like a moran

00:05:48.720 and uh and was getting it wrong that interview that president trump gave him you know roger you

00:05:53.800 know trump much better than i do i know him but i don't know him as well as you do i would like to

00:05:58.020 say to him please stop doing the interviews until i see the interviews and i see how he dominates them

00:06:02.700 and maybe he should keep on doing them that guy looks so foolish when going with that he said some

00:06:08.360 would say they represent ms 13 no they're literally the symbols of ms 13 i saw him last friday night right

00:06:16.040 after he finished taping the meet the press interview uh and i knew that the interview was

00:06:21.800 going to be uh was going to be dynamite i could see by the grin on his face that he had triumphed

00:06:27.340 once again in the meantime kamala harris uh recently resurfaced gave her first public speech

00:06:33.340 since losing the election i guess she finally sobered up uh all the polls show that if she runs for

00:06:41.300 governor of california she's a clear front runner shows you how deranged the people out there have 0.84

00:06:46.720 become and she is easily the first choice of democrats to be their nominee again in 2028 joe could we be

00:06:54.660 that lucky well listen that would be lucky maybe getting aoc that would be lucky maybe get i mean fill

00:07:00.180 in the blank jasmine crockett the left is in such disarray i mean as intelligent as you are and as great

00:07:06.900 an advisor as you are would you even want to take the job of advising a party that is so completely

00:07:13.160 disconnected and destroyed it you've got the left fighting the left fighting the left fighting the

00:07:17.580 far left fighting the far left progressive left and you know people like you and me and the president

00:07:21.940 we sit back and go okay you guys have at it i hope they offer up kamala harris on a plate again

00:07:26.720 on a platter again in 2028 it will be easy pickings because my roger can you imagine 100 days in

00:07:33.680 under a harris administration then the country would be over yeah it is it does boggle the mind

00:07:39.680 that she's even the front runner but i think this is one of those cases where the polls are accurate

00:07:44.940 i'll tell you where they're not accurate the new york times and abc came out with polls last week

00:07:50.940 which said showed that the president's approval was dropping now to the untrained eye you might believe

00:07:57.740 that but then i looked at the internals on those polls something i've been doing for 50 years in the

00:08:03.400 vineyards of american politics and i found in both cases that they undersampled trump supporters in

00:08:10.740 fact in the new york times poll only 37 of the people in the overall sample said they voted for

00:08:18.660 donald trump in the last election so what i'm seeing joe is the same kind of psyop the same kind of false

00:08:26.500 narrative uh that they tried in the run-up to the last election uh where they try to tell us

00:08:34.120 uh that the american people feel something or say something or believe something they don't believe

00:08:40.640 i have yet to meet a single person who tells me they voted for donald trump but they now regret it

00:08:47.800 have you met any such person not one there's not one and in fact some that didn't vote for him are

00:08:54.140 saying maybe i should have what's interesting about what you just brought up is you're right

00:08:58.000 they're undersampling republicans they're oversampling democrats and they're putting these

00:09:02.180 polls up as if that's going to sway somebody's opinion i also don't know that many people who say

00:09:06.380 well the poll says this therefore i should probably forget what i see and what i hear what i know

00:09:10.980 that trump is doing roger here's the the quandary i i have and i mean this it's a real conundrum

00:09:17.200 do we tell the left stop lying about the polls do we tell the complicit media stop being complicit

00:09:21.660 or do we sit back and let them do it and just keep on showing the the american public the truth

00:09:26.500 versus what they're doling out as false narrative again i was a tv news anchor for a long time i was

00:09:32.240 a journalist for a long time i've won dozens of awards for excellence in journalism so i know how

00:09:36.180 to do it so i love calling them out but i wonder if we call them out at our own peril because if they

00:09:40.800 start doing the job right they might be formidable right now they're a laughingstock uh if you're just

00:09:46.180 tuning in we're talking to joe paglia rulo no he's not irish joe pags nationally syndicated radio

00:09:53.300 and television talk show host you can you can see and hear his show at joepags.com joe always tells

00:10:00.860 you exactly what he thinks uh but also he's known for his personal resilience uh he is a cancer survivor

00:10:07.460 who became an advocate for health awareness uh what i love about joe is he always gives it to you

00:10:12.460 straight from the shoulder sometimes he'll tell you things you don't want to hear because they're

00:10:16.860 true uh no before before you came on joe we're talking about robert f kennedy and this entire

00:10:23.100 effort to get to the bottom of what's commonly known as chemtrails and those of us who saw these

00:10:29.820 things in the sky and comment on we were called conspiracy theorists kooks nuts people said oh you need

00:10:37.020 to be wearing a tinfoil hat now we learn that they're real and that rfk intends to get to the

00:10:44.660 bottom of whoever is spraying these toxic chemicals into the air and to stop them in the meantime he

00:10:52.460 just announced uh that we are going to be phasing out six synthetic dyes in our food green number three

00:11:01.200 red 40 yellow number five and number six blue number one number two both of all of which are

00:11:08.500 already illegal uh in europe but we still have it in our food i told my wife at dinner last night after

00:11:15.380 listening to rfk i'm afraid to eat anything i think he's doing a great job what's your feeling

00:11:21.320 well i agree with you i i was lucky enough to interview him the day before the uh before the

00:11:26.320 election in november i interviewed him a couple years earlier for about 35 40 minutes the

00:11:31.020 guy just wants us to be healthy you know he doesn't align with donald trump on a lot of political

00:11:35.720 things doesn't align with you and me and a lot of political things that doesn't matter if if my kids

00:11:39.880 are eating fruit loops because they have special dyes to make them look more attractive but yet we

00:11:43.940 don't really know what the dyes might do to somebody's health they need to be gone and why is it that

00:11:48.540 canada or as you said europe are getting such healthier food from the same exact mills and the same exact

00:11:53.740 factories that are making it for us it's about time somebody in government said you know we've got these

00:11:58.180 organizations in government that aren't doing anything the fda the the hhs i mean fill in the

00:12:03.940 blank all these medical and all these health organizations we're just like raising money

00:12:07.800 bureaucratically and not doing anything to make sure that we are healthy and safe we're one of

00:12:11.780 the fattest countries on the planet right now for no reason other than we don't know what's in our

00:12:15.740 food so i'm with you oh i want this guy to go and do the job he said he would do he's what 70 years

00:12:20.820 old and and healthy as an ox and he looks like a bodybuilder i want that guy to be in charge of making

00:12:25.820 sure that my kids when they eat when my family and i sit down and you and your wife sit down and eat

00:12:30.020 we're eating healthy food that we can rely is healthy all that stuff that was in there roger

00:12:34.760 they kept on making the ingredients smaller and smaller on the label we couldn't even track down

00:12:38.380 what they were you can't pronounce most of them so i love the job he's doing so far yeah i'm in total

00:12:43.220 agreement i think what we experienced this last election was more than just a personal triumph for

00:12:48.900 donald trump or the republican party what i saw was a complete realignment of our politics in which

00:12:55.460 all people who believe in peace who believe in free speech who believe in common sense uh were under

00:13:02.760 one banner and those who favor war favor censorship think that corporate profit is fine do we have to

00:13:09.680 examine uh the drugs that they're giving our families or the food that they're selling us that's the

00:13:15.660 fault line it's not republican and democrat it's not even liberal and conservative anymore uh it is

00:13:20.840 the globalists uh and those who believe in common sense the democrat party uh of of my mother's family

00:13:27.840 the party of john f kennedy the party of harry truman even the party of franklin roosevelt that party

00:13:33.440 which believed in capitalism which believed in free enterprise which believed in god uh which believed in a

00:13:40.300 strong national defense that democrat party literally no longer exists well they're all

00:13:47.920 conservatives now roger they they are they've all come to this side i mean think about a party

00:13:51.600 think about a movement in maga that includes elon musk a liberal that includes tulsi gabbard a a liberal

00:13:57.800 before now uh rfk jr these people that are coming up you've got the the former sheriff of la county i think

00:14:03.900 his name is bill little wave who just now announced he's going from democrat to republican because he cannot

00:14:08.760 any longer sit by and watch the ridiculous progressive policies that are killing his great

00:14:14.000 county or city or his great state in california you know you mentioned something earlier that the 0.98

00:14:18.340 people in california might be dumb enough to vote for kamala harris this shrimp and coconut sauce is 1.00

00:15:37.760 television talk show host you're tuned into the stone zone on the red apple audio networks we're

00:15:44.280 going to be back with some more pungent commentary from my friend joe paggs or whatever you do please

00:15:49.800 don't touch that dial we'll be right back in the stone zone on the other side don't go away

00:15:55.040 this is the stone zone with roger stone

00:15:59.640 this is the stone zone with roger stone they went after a guy named roger stone who's sitting in the

00:16:25.280 office and i'll say this in front of roger he's no baby and right now he's cleaner than anybody in

00:16:30.400 this place now as i treated him very unfairly now get him a zone it's the stone zone here's roger stone

00:16:39.960 and we're back in the stone zone we're talking to joe paggs joe pagliarulo a friend of mine but also

00:16:48.760 one of the most important uh independent voices in the country uh and a shrewd and keen observer on

00:16:56.340 the national political scene joe i'm gonna throw you a tough question uh the president announced last

00:17:03.200 week that he was moving his national security advisor mike walsh who had been a north florida

00:17:08.960 congressman over to the united nations uh and uh all of washington and the chattering class is 0.85

00:17:15.020 speculating about who the next national security advisor will be let me ask you who do you think

00:17:22.600 it should be i think that it would be the proper thing to give uh general flynn the job again i don't

00:17:29.480 think he was allowed to do the job the first time i think they targeted him i think obama wanted him

00:17:33.460 out you might have actually educated me on that um the fact is he didn't get a chance to do what i

00:17:38.320 think he would do a great job at i would love to see general michael flynn the guy that's tapped for

00:17:42.860 that position as far as michael waltz i like him i like him a lot i've interviewed him before i think

00:17:47.360 he's a great american the rumblings were and i'm sure you've heard this that the the nsc wasn't

00:17:52.380 working as as cohesively as it could have under him and he might be a better fit for the united

00:17:56.880 nations but i would love to see general flynn in that job here's uh i i love general flynn i think

00:18:02.440 he'd be great but the other fellow i'd consider ironically is his brother retired four-star general

00:18:09.080 charles flynn who uh recently retired as the head of the pacific fleet a position uh of great

00:18:15.580 responsibility that he held under biden under trump and under obama he is uh still a young man he would

00:18:22.140 be great or colonel douglas mcgregor another uh soldier who i think is a brilliant geo political

00:18:29.940 tactician uh either one of them would be great with me here's the key thing though and this is the

00:18:35.540 difference between this trump administration and the first one the president has put together a

00:18:41.460 cohesive team of people who understand that their job is not to delay or or derail or dilute trump's

00:18:51.460 agenda their job is to follow his instructions and his agenda and get the job done i uh have in the

00:19:00.100 past sometimes uh critical of senator marco rubio uh he's emerging as one of the stars of this cabinet

00:19:07.340 he's doing an amazing job this turned out to be in my opinion one of the president's very best

00:19:13.020 appointments you don't have the kind of internal bickering you don't have the kind of backbiting but

00:19:18.540 you also don't have people who think their job is to save donald trump from himself their job is to

00:19:24.940 get his agenda implemented that's the big difference that i see between the first term and this term

00:19:31.060 roger i gotta throw this out at you i i was a fan of of uh marco rubio i thought i thought he was a

00:19:37.160 very good senator he you know he went from little marco you know in 2016 2015 2016 on the campaign trail

00:19:43.560 to probably the most staunch supporter and advisor for president trump that i've ever seen and here's what

00:19:50.740 i mean when when trump has asked these questions he now feels so confident and you know it takes him

00:19:56.800 a long time to really trust somebody he feels so confident say marco why don't you take that

00:20:00.840 and when marco takes that he gives you exactly what the administration line is he doesn't waver at all

00:20:06.120 he doesn't say i'm going to try to advise the president to maybe consider this that he says 0.99

00:20:09.700 this is the way it is you come in here on a visa we will ship your ass out if you lied to us 0.98

00:20:13.980 you get a green card we find out that you lied you're gone we're not going to have you come here 1.00

00:20:17.860 and do anti-american and terroristic things and just stay because you feel like it it's a privilege

00:20:23.100 to be in my house and i truly believe president trump trust this guy more than he ever thought

00:20:27.940 he could i mean to me like you said i'm going to echo what you said i have been more impressed with

00:20:32.920 marco rubio than almost anybody else in that on that in that administration and i've been impressed

00:20:37.320 by a lot of them yeah it is an all-star team whether it is tulsi gabbard as the director of national

00:20:43.400 intelligence or whether it is scott besage who i think is a real outside the box thinking

00:20:48.700 brainiac uh when when he and donald trump talk about ending the federal income tax they're not

00:20:53.740 kidding they really would like to try to do this and i think they would put forward a plan to do so

00:20:58.080 but across the board including rfk who we spoke about this is an all-star team and it already shows

00:21:06.300 in this first hundred days all right well unfortunately we are out of time i want to

00:21:10.480 thank my guest joe paggs again you can catch his red hot show at joepags.com joepags.com
