00:00:30.000 Welcome back.

00:00:31.160 You are entering the Stone Zone.

00:00:33.140 Yet again, joining me now is Joel Gilbert.

00:00:35.820 Joel Gilbert is an investigative journalist, a documentary filmmaker, and a musician.

00:00:43.520 He is best known for his documentaries, including Dreams from My Real Father, Trump, The Art of the Insult.

00:00:52.160 Hysterically funny, by the way.

00:00:53.640 But more recently, Joel Gilbert has written a series of articles for the Gateway Pundit regarding New York Attorney General Letitia James.

00:01:03.160 You remember her.

00:01:04.300 She's the one who said that no one is above the law.

00:01:08.180 She's the one who charged President Donald Trump, claiming that he had overvalued his assets in order to obtain commercial loans, all of which got paid back on time, in which the lenders made $40 million in interest.

00:01:26.300 In fact, every one of the lenders said they would do those transactions yet again.

00:01:30.800 Letitia James used a law that has never been used in New York state history to prosecute anybody. 1.00

00:01:37.000 But it turns out that the Attorney General is a bit of a hypocrite. 0.98

00:01:42.180 Joel Gilbert, welcome to the Stone Zone. 0.99

00:01:45.080 Great to be back.

00:01:45.980 Thank you, Roger.

00:01:47.080 So, Joel, I'm going to throw this to you.

00:01:49.860 Summarize for us what you have learned and what you have reported on, and most importantly, what you have documented regarding New York's Attorney General.

00:02:00.040 Well, you had a great introduction there because Letitia James charged Trump with civil mortgage fraud on garbage charges.

00:02:09.340 What I have detailed is actual criminal mortgage fraud by, I think, Letitia James herself.

00:02:15.620 And I wrote a series of articles for the Gateway Pundit.

00:02:18.880 In the first one, I looked at her history, entire history of taking mortgages out. 0.92

00:02:24.440 The first one we find out, which is only 24 years old, she's out of college, she's got no job or probably a low-paying job, and she decides to buy an 800-square-foot townhome, and she's obviously not qualified.

00:02:38.200 So what does she do? 0.93

00:02:39.460 We look at the mortgage document.

00:02:41.420 It's online on ACRIS, and it shows that she pretended that she was married to her father who had a real job, and she used his income balance sheet to try to qualify for this loan.

00:02:53.560 It says it right on the mortgage document in three places, so it could not have been a typo.

00:02:59.820 And, in fact, years later when they sold the property, they also sold it as husband and wife.

00:03:04.840 So this, I think, is a clear case of mortgage fraud.

00:03:07.640 It's illegal to misrepresent a relationship in order to qualify for a loan.

00:03:13.100 And Ilhan Omar, of course, is known for marrying her brother to get an immigration advantage.

00:03:17.560 I think Letitia James actually pretended to marry her father for a mortgage loan advantage, which was illegal. 0.99

00:03:25.180 That was her first – go ahead.

00:03:27.500 I think you have addressed those who say that this was just a typographical error.

00:03:33.480 It's not – if it's three different places in the documents, and if the mortgage document says husband and wife, but the title to the property says correctly father and daughter, there's very little chance that this was a typographical error.

00:03:52.580 Not possible.

00:03:53.820 Her father was quite old at that time.

00:03:55.520 He actually died only three years later.

00:03:57.240 So for the deed, they actually wrote father and daughter, but on the mortgage, to qualify for it, they said husband and wife.

00:04:06.240 And, indeed, 15 years later when Letitia sold the property, she sold it as husband and wife, even though her father was deceased.

00:04:14.180 Now, her second big mortgage snafu has to do with 296 Brooklyn – Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn, where it's a four-story apartment building with five apartments in it.

00:04:25.920 And that's pretty much become a crime scene, according to what I've discovered, because what she did is she took mortgages and refinances over 20 years, and she always falsely claimed that it only had four apartments in a five-apartment building. 0.89

00:04:40.480 Now, the certificate of occupancy for this building is the official designation by the city of New York that says how many apartments you have.

00:04:50.480 2001, Letitia buys the property as a five-unit building.

00:04:54.380 It says so on the certificate of occupancy.

00:04:57.500 So when she each time applies for a refinance saying that it's only four units, that's mortgage fraud.

00:05:04.280 The biggest fraud was a HAMP loan she took out from the U.S. government under the TARP program.

00:05:10.040 She was paying about 10% for her adjustable-rate mortgage, and she decided, hey, I'd like to refinance on the back of the American taxpayer and get this government loan at only 2.7%.

00:05:22.280 Now, to do that, the HAMP loan is not even available for anybody with five units or more.

00:05:30.220 So she once again lies and says it's only four-unit building, even though it's clearly five.

00:05:35.520 She also lies saying that she has a financial hardship.

00:05:38.640 You had to have a financial hardship to get this government loan.

00:05:41.700 But she's making $14,000 a month from her city council salary and from her rentals. 0.94

00:05:47.720 So that's a second criminal lie in a mortgage.

00:05:53.240 And Letitia made it very clear that no one is above the law, and therefore her HAMP loan by itself,

00:06:00.240 which has now been referred to the Department of Justice by Bill Pulte,

00:06:04.800 because of the fact that she lied on this loan to get a 2.7% loan.

00:06:09.980 So there's many mortgage crimes that are coming out about this property.

00:06:16.560 Now, in addition, I've got another article coming out on the Gateway Pundit tomorrow,

00:06:21.900 and the title is, Is Letitia James a Slumlord?

00:06:26.320 Because when you look on the New York Department of Buildings website,

00:06:31.060 she's got four of the units are infested with bed bugs.

00:06:34.260 That means every one of her tenants, because she lives in the building.

00:06:37.160 So she lives in one unit, and all four of her tenants have bed bugs. 0.96

00:06:41.500 Obviously, Letitia wasn't going to make a report about her own unit. 0.94

00:06:45.920 She's got two units with peeling paint all over the place. 1.00

00:06:49.600 She's got 17 complaints in the last 20 months.

00:06:52.620 So it's also the hypocrisy, again, is stunning,

00:06:57.880 because she has built her political brand on this commitment to tenant advocacy and housing justice.

00:07:04.920 But Letitia herself really is operating her building as a slumlord. 1.00

00:07:09.820 So I think Letitia has to resign. 1.00

00:07:12.380 I don't see how she can survive this scandal that she's again and again guilty of mortgage fraud 1.00

00:07:18.460 and now being a slumlord.

00:07:19.620 This shrimp and coconut sauce is divine.

00:07:22.500 What's your secret?

00:07:23.500 Goya coconut milk.

00:07:24.620 How does it taste so good?

00:07:25.980 It's all in that real coconut flavor and that rich, creamy texture.

00:07:30.060 What about thickeners and added sugars?

00:07:32.300 None.

00:07:32.940 Just smooth, coconutty goodness.

00:07:35.360 What can I make with it?

00:07:36.480 From curries to sweet treats like coconut flan,

00:07:39.440 the possibilities are endless.

00:07:41.820 Goya coconut milk.

00:07:43.060 Take your cooking to the next level.

00:07:44.660 No question about it.

00:07:45.740 Find it in the Goya section of your local grocery store.

00:07:47.920 If it's Goya, it has to be good.

00:07:50.540 I noticed that Sam Antar, who's also appeared here in the Stone Zone, 0.86

00:07:56.300 has published at his website, whitecollarfraud.com,

00:08:02.480 a series of additional exposés on the misdeeds of Letitia James.

00:08:09.440 He reported that only in 2023, literally weeks before she put Donald Trump on trial

00:08:18.480 in the so-called valuations case, a case in which Mr. Trump, then a candidate for president,

00:08:27.000 was not allowed a jury, was not allowed to put up a defense,

00:08:31.200 and the judge essentially declared him guilty without a real trial.

00:08:37.980 Letitia James signed a power of attorney, which said that she and her niece would inhabit a property

00:08:50.100 that they purchased in Virginia within 60 days of closing the mortgage.

00:08:55.380 And the mortgage clearly reflects that it had to be owner-occupied in order to qualify for the mortgage.

00:09:05.840 Now, the New York Daily News editorial board published a piece dismissing all of this,

00:09:11.220 saying that these were flimsy claims of fraud and petty payback by the administration

00:09:19.660 for the civil case she brought against Donald Trump.

00:09:23.280 You know Sam Mantar. You know his work. It is extremely documented.

00:09:29.640 By the way, Sam Mantar is not a Republican, not a Trump supporter.

00:09:34.860 He has a very interesting background.

00:09:37.460 He himself was convicted of one of the greatest security frauds in American history.

00:09:43.380 He went to prison. He did his time. He paid his debt to society.

00:09:47.660 But when he came out, he decided to use his unique forensic talents

00:09:52.680 to help governments, law firms, and other institutions detect white-collar fraud.

00:09:59.800 Turned his life around and now using it for good.

00:10:03.340 Joel, what do you think of these revelations by Sam Mantar?

00:10:08.980 Sam has just done a fantastic job on his website.

00:10:12.040 Everyone should look at it every day because he's got great updates, whitecollarfraud.com.

00:10:16.640 He discovered that Letitia claimed, as you mentioned,

00:10:19.800 that this home in Virginia would be her primary residence.

00:10:23.440 Now the reason she did that is because you do get lower rates 0.97

00:10:26.600 when the mortgage companies give you a lower rate.

00:10:30.700 And I had an article also on Gateway Pundit

00:10:34.120 showing you that insurance companies also give lower rates

00:10:37.900 when someone says they're going to inhabit their house.

00:10:41.460 If they say they're going to rent it out or have someone else living there,

00:10:44.540 the insurance rates are higher.

00:10:46.380 So I believe Letitia James is also guilty of insurance fraud. 0.93

00:10:50.500 And Sam Mantar has shown how the Northbrook property is just the primary evidence

00:10:55.740 done at exactly the same time she was prosecuting Trump for mortgage fraud.

00:11:00.840 She herself was engaged in mortgage fraud.

00:11:02.700 I also had an article about a foreclosure property that Letitia purchased in 2008

00:11:08.920 in Martinsville, Virginia, where she purchased a property with a couple who had been foreclosed on.

00:11:15.560 And then the deed for the property that was created, the new deed, Letitia wasn't on it.

00:11:21.560 So she should have been because she was a purchaser.

00:11:24.720 So that was another indication of possible mortgage fraud

00:11:28.000 because the purchasers have to appear on the deed.

00:11:31.040 She may to this day have an interest in that property that she bought this foreclosure 0.91

00:11:36.240 but never disclosed it on her campaign forms.

00:11:39.480 So Sam Mantar has a lot more information about campaign fraud,

00:11:43.900 misuse of airplane expenses, you name it.

00:11:48.280 Letitia, I think, has to resign at this point. 1.00

00:11:50.880 The New York Daily News is not going to save her by pretending and repeating things that aren't true.

00:11:56.400 The Albany Times Union, in a tight contest, perhaps be the worst newspaper in the country

00:12:03.840 in terms of absolute bias in their reporting, never mind their editorial page,

00:12:09.960 has also come to her defense to try to pretend that these are not legitimate issues.

00:12:17.000 It's interesting, Attorney General James told the New York Times that despite this power of attorney

00:12:25.660 she signed in which she claimed that she would move to Virginia,

00:12:29.180 which would have made her instantaneously, constitutionally ineligible to be the New York Attorney General, 0.70

00:12:35.860 or if she did move, if she didn't move, she would be guilty of a false statement on this sworn document.

00:12:46.380 She claimed that there was a prior application for that mortgage

00:12:51.900 in which there was no pledge to move in and occupy the property.

00:12:58.840 She also claimed that the mortgage did not require her to do so.

00:13:03.440 Anyone can go to whitecollarfraud.com or can go look up the documents themselves.

00:13:11.780 Both of those claims are completely and totally false.

00:13:16.240 If there's a prior application in which she doesn't pledge to move into the property,

00:13:24.060 then the New York Times should make it public because they seem to be the only ones who have a copy of it,

00:13:28.140 and they wrote about it as if it is a fact.

00:13:31.780 This is a part and parcel of the establishment cover-up that I think she is currently benefiting from. 0.97

00:13:42.480 Look, I'll agree with that.

00:13:44.120 New York State is an open record state.

00:13:46.940 That's how I, in California, could simply jump on the website and download all these mortgages.

00:13:53.100 Anybody just type in Letitia James.

00:13:54.980 You can download every mortgage myself or Sam Antar I've written about, and you can read them yourself.

00:14:00.520 You will find nothing to support these flimsy leftist rags claims that Letitia did something that was legal

00:14:08.520 because everything was illegal from the HAMP loan to the claim of a primary residence in Northbrook,

00:14:16.020 illegal what she did with the foreclosure in Martinsville, Virginia, 0.99

00:14:19.040 illegal to defraud insurance companies by claiming she only had four units,

00:14:24.120 illegal to claim that with a HAMP loan that she had a financial hardship while making $14,000 a month.

00:14:33.800 It's overwhelming evidence.

00:14:35.540 I invite everyone to go onto the ACRIS website, and you can verify everything myself and Sam Antar have reported.

00:14:41.680 And, by the way, I have invited the Attorney General to appear on this program anytime she wishes to appear

00:14:49.180 to defend herself against any of these charges.

00:14:52.720 I think that's only fair.

00:14:54.660 Somehow I won't hold my breath.

00:14:57.880 Where do you think this goes?

00:14:59.900 I mean, now this is a political question.

00:15:02.120 I read the letter that the head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency sent to the Justice Department a referral for prosecution.

00:15:14.080 Do you think that the Attorney General will be held accountable?

00:15:20.100 Well, this is a good test to see if Pam Bondi's DOJ will follow through on the promise of Donald Trump 1.00

00:15:27.160 and his campaign to restore law and order because Letitia James has violated, even as a public official, the law, I think, repeatedly.

00:15:35.660 I have some concerns about Pam Bondi, as do other MAGA Republicans.

00:15:39.940 I think I detailed in my film The Trayvon Hoax, where I looked at the George Zimmerman case in Florida.

00:15:46.100 Not everybody knows that Pam Bondi was the Attorney General of Florida

00:15:49.780 when the local police in Sanford, Florida, exonerated George Zimmerman, said he shot Trayvon Martin in self-defense.

00:15:57.440 But because of the street protests by Ben Crump and Al Sharpton, Pam Bondi caved in. 1.00

00:16:03.800 Instead of looking at the evidence and saying, hey, I've looked at the police report,

00:16:08.020 Zimmerman was acting in self-defense, see you later.

00:16:11.140 Instead, she appointed a special counsel to investigate and arrest Zimmerman

00:16:14.700 and defended the attorneys like Crump and others.

00:16:18.300 And so she's kind of partially responsible for Black Lives Matter, 0.77

00:16:22.460 which was founded on Zimmerman being acquitted.

00:16:25.320 So this is a great test to see if Pam Bondi will follow through 0.96

00:16:28.760 and if she really is a MAGA Republican or not.

00:16:31.440 All right.

00:16:32.180 If you're just tuning in, folks, talking to Joel Gilbert, documentary filmmaker and author,

00:16:37.060 you're tuned in to The Stone Zone.

00:16:39.200 We'll be back with more of Joel Gilbert and our great coverage here in The Stone Zone.

00:16:44.340 So whatever you do, don't go away because we'll be right back.

00:16:48.300 And we're back in The Stone Zone.

00:16:50.820 We've only got a few minutes left.

00:16:52.760 We're talking to documentary filmmaker and investigative journalist and author, Joel Gilbert.

00:16:58.740 Joel, I want to go back to an old topic.

00:17:00.420 You did a great book and a documentary on Michelle Obama.

00:17:05.220 You and I both believed that there was a high probability that she, rather than Kamala Harris,

00:17:11.240 would emerge as the Democrat nominee after they dumped Joe Biden.

00:17:16.960 I still believe, based on the 10 days between Biden dropping out and declaring his support for Kamala

00:17:25.960 and the Obamas finally endorsing Kamala Harris, that there was a backstage effort to try to get Michelle Obama, 0.95

00:17:34.960 who, in my opinion, would have been a much stronger candidate, to run.

00:17:38.000 And the only reason we both turned out to be wrong is because it fell on deaf ears,

00:17:43.240 that they could not persuade her to do so.

00:17:46.220 What do you think?

00:17:47.220 I think that clearly Michelle Obama was and still is the most beloved Democrat.

00:17:54.400 She's got 100 million social media followers.

00:17:56.840 People just love her.

00:17:58.020 And I think we were right when we said the Democrats would dump Biden.

00:18:03.580 And there was going to be a convention four weeks later in Michelle's hometown of Chicago.

00:18:10.240 But I think a very bitter Joe Biden, 30 minutes after he was pushed aside,

00:18:15.280 sent out a tweet endorsing Kamala Harris.

00:18:18.080 Hillary and others jumped on board.

00:18:19.640 And the Obamas tried to hold out for about 10 days and said, no, no, no, no.

00:18:23.020 We want an open convention in Chicago because I think the intent was to get Michelle in there. 1.00

00:18:27.960 She loves politics.

00:18:29.040 She's a better politician than Barack.

00:18:30.940 She's a better speaker than Barack.

00:18:32.500 Her father was a politician.

00:18:34.420 And I think we need to keep our eye on her for 2028 because she is definitely the most popular, beloved Democrat. 0.67

00:18:42.180 She anything she does, she gets tons of attention. 1.00

00:18:44.760 She just started a new podcast, even though it's incredibly boring with her brother.

00:18:50.040 She still commands a tremendous amount of attention.

00:18:52.260 So I think we were right when we predicted Biden would be knocked out.

00:18:56.880 And I think there was a little bit of an outmaneuvering that went on that prevented Michelle from getting the nomination.

00:19:04.040 But I definitely would keep my eye on her for 2028.

00:19:06.820 Yeah, it's also true that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was maneuvering furiously for an open convention.

00:19:17.980 I'd point out that most people don't realize that 70 percent of the delegates to that convention were people of color, either African-Americans or Hispanics,

00:19:26.460 and that three major union leaders controlled two-thirds of the delegates to the convention.

00:19:33.260 So the convention was not an accurate reflection of the makeup of America.

00:19:38.420 All that had to happen is any one delegate could have stood up and said, I nominate Michelle Obama for president.

00:19:45.380 Once it was seconded, I think that motion would have carried and we would not have been subjected to the disastrous candidacy of Kamala Harris.

00:19:54.300 All right.

00:19:54.540 Unfortunately, we have to leave it right there.

00:19:56.980 I want to thank my guest, Joel Gilbert.

00:19:59.400 Joel, tell people where they can find you on social media.

00:20:02.200 Yeah, please go to Joel S. S as in Sam, Joel S. Gilbert on Twitter.

00:20:08.540 I post a lot.

00:20:09.660 I link up to everybody.

00:20:10.780 You'll see my article tomorrow on Gateway Pundit on Letitia James, the slumlord.

00:20:16.820 And let's keep this story going because there's a lot more information that's still going to come out about Letitia James.

00:20:22.900 We're calling it the Letitia Files. 0.92

00:20:24.880 And she's a very corrupt politician. 1.00

00:20:27.120 And I don't see how she survives this.

00:20:29.600 Yeah, some of my followers are beginning calling her Letitia James.

00:20:33.960 All right.

00:20:34.400 Thank you for joining us, Joel.

00:20:36.060 And thank you to our many listeners for tuning in today to the Stone Zone.

00:20:41.340 Until we meet again, God bless you and Godspeed.
