The StoneZONE with Roger Stone - Justin Goodman ｜ 05-02-25

00:00:00.000 and we're back in the stone zone look anybody who knows me or my wife knows that we are

00:00:05.760 animal lovers in the course of our marriage we have nine yorkshire terriers uh and one

00:00:12.660 three-legged wheaton terrier who we got on the side of the road he'd been mangled by a car we

00:00:21.160 tried to save his leg but it had to be amputated it's amazing how he got along incredibly well on

00:00:28.140 three legs and he lived a long and full life as an adoptee in our household some of the work that

00:00:35.660 i'm proudest of during president donald trump's first term is when i worked as a volunteer with

00:00:42.460 the white coat coat waste project to end the inhumane uh and horrific uh so-called scientific

00:00:52.580 taxpayer-funded experiments on dogs cats and other primates we made great strides during the

00:01:01.260 first trump presidency and the president zeroed out funding for these horrific uh unscientific

00:01:08.960 but chilling experiments but now it appears that some of it is back joining me now justin goodman

00:01:17.200 senior vice president for advocacy and public policy at the white coast waste project for more

00:01:23.760 than 15 years justin has led winning grassroots and lobbying campaigns to expose and end the wasteful

00:01:32.060 and cruel taxpayer-funded experiments on dogs cats primates and other animals justin welcome back in to

00:01:39.880 the stone zone roger it's a pleasure to be here and thank you for all your great advocacy for animals

00:01:45.040 suffering and government labs we couldn't do this stuff without you well i i really much appreciate

00:01:50.120 your work and i was happy to volunteer and i want to bring public attention to the issue again yet today

00:01:56.500 while we did make great strides in the first trump administration uh and even in this administration

00:02:04.160 so for example the environmental protection agency now run by former new york congressman lee zeldin

00:02:10.020 announced uh that it would get the agency back on track uh and consistent with the 2019 trump plan

00:02:17.000 to eliminate animal testing uh other places in the government it seems that this is not happening

00:02:24.620 first let's talk about epa this to me is very good news yeah absolutely roger you know as you know

00:02:31.120 you were one of the people who helped get this historic policy in place back in 2019 uh andrew wheeler

00:02:37.440 then the head of the epa under trump uh 45 announced a historic plan first in the history of the

00:02:43.500 government that they were going to completely eliminate all animal testing by 2035 and they

00:02:48.940 were going to make a 30 reduction by 2025 which is this year uh andrew wheeler and president trump put

00:02:55.440 the agency on track in 2019 to accomplish that unfortunately right after andrew wheeler and

00:03:03.420 president trump left uh the white house in 2021 the biden administration due to pressure from

00:03:11.680 uh scientists inside the agency as well as environmental groups got the biden administration

00:03:18.220 to kill the trump plan to end animal testing at the epa the environmental groups that were pressuring

00:03:24.340 the biden administration got them to do that to remove the deadlines to end animal testing

00:03:29.560 and said they need to do it in the name of environmental justice that we needed to do not

00:03:34.580 only did they want to completely eliminate trump's plan but they wanted the epa to do more animal

00:03:40.100 testing again in the name of environmental justice and other woke priorities like there's there's one

00:03:45.640 example during the biden administration where the epa was shooting off handguns and rifles and forcing

00:03:50.920 animals to breathe the firearms emissions for gun control experiments and other testing they were

00:03:57.040 putting uh rats in cages feeding them unhealthy diets and then heating up the cages to mimic

00:04:03.780 climate change allegedly and then pump smoke wildfire smoke into the cages to mimic wildfires in

00:04:11.600 and climate change interacting on people who eat crappy food so the the mind reels but the trump

00:04:19.040 administration uh one of the first things they did and you and i have been advocating this since

00:04:23.080 beginning of the year lee zeldon's epa committed to getting the agency back on track to eliminating

00:04:28.580 animal testing so that's great news the epa kills thousands and thousands of animals a year in these

00:04:34.040 experiments rabbits dogs other animals and this is going to save a lot of tax money and a lot of

00:04:39.400 animals so that's good news for everyone but like you said it hasn't been all uh sunshine and rainbows

00:04:44.200 unfortunately over the first hundred days of the administration yeah i am still haunted by these

00:04:49.440 images i'm sure people have seen them uh where under dr fauci they would take beagles they would encase

00:04:56.500 the beagles heads in this enclosure and then they would pump in sand fleas that would literally eat the

00:05:04.680 flesh uh on the faces and heads of these beagles can you explain to me what the scientific uh value of

00:05:12.100 that might be yeah of course roger so yeah you're referring to our landmark investigation in 2021

00:05:18.620 after we uncovered fauci's funding for the wuhan lab and we just celebrated the five-year anniversary

00:05:24.440 of that investigation and president trump famously going on tv during the coronavirus briefing in late

00:05:30.340 april and saying this is tremendous waste i'm going to cut that grant and right there on the spot on tv

00:05:35.320 he cut the funding for the wuhan lab after our investigation thrilled about that the next big

00:05:40.120 fauci scandal that we uncovered was in 2021 where we uncovered these photographs of beagle puppies

00:05:46.480 who had been drugged and their head placed in these nest cages and allowed uh they allowed uh biting

00:05:52.640 flies to eat them alive and that was a project going on in a foreign country in tunisia with u.s

00:05:58.700 taxpayer dollars and they were looking to they were doing vaccine experiments uh on those dogs over

00:06:04.200 there and unfortunately you know fauci even though he's gone from government and i know you've talked

00:06:10.080 about this on the show we've talked about on the show you've written about it on your website

00:06:13.140 unfortunately even though he's gone from government a lot of the animal testing that he signed off on

00:06:20.520 put into emotion to put into motion and was personally involved in in some cases um has continued

00:06:26.860 under the new administration under trump despite obviously the president and secretary kennedy's

00:06:33.400 commitment to wipe anthony fauci's fingerprints from the federal government and fix the broken nih that he

00:06:40.680 left um so again there's good news at the epa but we are troubled by some of the things we're seeing

00:06:45.860 at the nih under its current director jay badacharya yeah i saw these new records uh publicized by my

00:06:52.300 friend laura loomer uh but released by white coast waste that reveals that the national institute of

00:06:58.820 health has extended funding for septic shock experiments where beagles are pumped with bacteria

00:07:04.480 and then slowly killed without pain relief this is actually happening inside the nih headquarters where

00:07:10.860 the new director works uh and they've renewed a 322 000 grant to moderna billionaire robert langer's

00:07:21.460 company to abuse dogs in weight loss drug tests uh elon musk himself uh said online that this

00:07:30.380 needs to be investigated and stopped uh i could not agree more now you add to the fact that

00:07:36.440 uh the nih and the pentagon are continuing to pay a lab in china which tortures i'm told 300 beagles per

00:07:46.180 week uh i really don't believe the president knows about any of this that's my own belief uh because he

00:07:52.820 too is an animal lover uh and i see where you have appealed to uh the secretary of defense as well as to

00:08:00.200 the president to end this horrific cruel weird experiments on dogs cats and other animals

00:08:08.280 yeah absolutely you know we've been advocating since the end of last year i mean since you know

00:08:13.900 since the president was re-elected in november we've been putting these issues at the top of

00:08:17.900 our priority list for the new administration to cut funding for dog and cat testing across these

00:08:22.600 agencies like you said we're still finding evidence not only of contracts biden era contracts

00:08:29.040 fauci contracts and grants that these guys literally signed off on and supported getting

00:08:34.140 renewed now under the new nih leadership um but a lot of the projects have just continued but like

00:08:40.160 you know fauci established and has been funding an island off the south carolina where there's 3 000

00:08:45.520 monkeys being held captive and then a few hundred or shift off the island every year for virus

00:08:49.860 experiments and nih labs the nih just renewed the funding for that obviously you mentioned the other 0.92

00:08:55.260 funding they've renewed they've cut some grants but renewed some funding for these crazy transgender 1.00

00:09:00.340 animal experiments that we uncovered uh and i think you're right i think that uh pete secretary

00:09:06.640 head just obviously doesn't know about this stuff uh i think now that elon musk weighed in today both

00:09:12.500 about the nih and and dod animal testing saying that doge needs to investigate i think that i you know the

00:09:19.340 secretary will take swift and decisive action to make sure dogs aren't being tortured in china with

00:09:25.600 our tax dollars i mean that's just that's sick and and dangerous and presents national security risks

00:09:32.360 obviously um but i don't think he wants it happening here either and i think the president uh you know now

00:09:38.660 that folks like you and laura loomer and elon are getting involved in really making noise and speaking up

00:09:44.040 about the fact that these biden era fauci holdovers who are now in the nih are actually signing off on

00:09:51.320 continually some of these wasteful and cruel and ridiculous projects that are costing taxpayers

00:09:57.520 billions of dollars a year so you know roger you know better than i do about how to clean out the

00:10:02.600 government and i think we really do need to clean house at nih there are people who have been there

00:10:08.460 for obama years biden years who are still running the show signing off on these grants and keeping a lot of

00:10:13.760 this waste going and keeping it alive uh and we really need folks in there who are willing to make

00:10:19.520 what i consider most people consider easy decisions we shouldn't be funding experiments in china on

00:10:25.100 animals we shouldn't be torturing cats and dogs with taxpayer dollars these are things that people

00:10:29.180 across the political spectrum can agree on but there's deep state losers inside the nih who want

00:10:35.020 to keep this stuff going and keep their jobs and we need to get them out of there this shrimp and 1.00

00:10:39.420 coconut sauce is divine what's your secret goya coconut milk how does it taste so good it's all in

00:10:45.040 that real coconut flavor and that rich creamy texture what about thickeners and added sugars

00:10:50.660 none just smooth coconutty goodness what can i make with it from curries to sweet treats like

00:10:56.840 coconut flan the possibilities are endless goya coconut milk take your cooking to the next level

00:11:03.120 no question about it find it in the goya section of your local grocery store if it's goya it has to be good

00:11:36.120 so uh justin if people want to help in what i think is a really noble crusade where can they go

00:11:45.680 online and and support your important work uh thank you for that opportunity roger i would love if folks

00:11:52.160 visited whitecoatwaste.org that's our website and to follow us on social and see all the activity

00:11:57.760 today with you and laura loomer and elon musk on on x on all social media platforms at whitecoat waste

00:12:04.940 i was interested to see that this uh congressman from michigan sheree athenadar who sponsored a

00:12:14.700 resolution to impeach president donald trump not only does he have an eight hundred thousand dollar

00:12:20.800 campaign debt so i think his impeachment resolution is really more about raising money for his re-election

00:12:27.720 but in his prior career he actually ran a laboratory where they experimented on animals and

00:12:36.100 essentially he abandoned 118 uh beagles as i understand it just i mean leaving them abandoned

00:12:44.960 without food or water this boggles the mind yeah this is yeah roger this is uh this is back in 2010

00:12:52.800 i actually was involved in this case um i was working at peta back then i haven't been there

00:12:58.160 for a long time i've been at white coat nearly a decade but i was back there and the veterinarian

00:13:02.620 from that laboratory called me and he was frantic and he said that they're we just got word that

00:13:08.260 they're shutting the lab down and the owner who we now know is currently at the time he was just the

00:13:14.460 owner of the lab and now we know he's a congressman now sheree thanadar from michigan had left the

00:13:20.380 animals there to die and washed his hands of the whole situation after the bank took over so this

00:13:25.360 veterinarian wanted to save those animals he called me and said what can you do and unfortunately peta

00:13:31.360 at the time told me that they didn't want to do anything they were not going to get involved

00:13:34.820 uh but i have lots of friends in the animal rescue space and was able to reach out to folks who do

00:13:40.340 dog and cat rescue and who rescue primates and bring them to sanctuaries and they were able to save

00:13:45.460 over 170 beagles and monkeys who were locked in thanadar's lab at the time and were being left

00:13:51.580 for dead um and these you know this type of laboratory it's obviously has a shutdown these

00:13:57.920 laboratories exist because animal testing is big business the government spends 20 billion dollars

00:14:02.620 a year on animal testing of taxpayers money and not only do we spend taxpayers money on animal testing

00:14:08.380 the fda and other agencies have forced companies to conduct animal testing against their will for new

00:14:14.180 products even though it's incredibly wasteful and unnecessary and very expensive and that's how

00:14:19.300 labs like thanadar's exist because of government funding and also government mandates on private

00:14:26.140 industry so we've seen some good movement obviously like we said at the epa with getting rid of some of

00:14:31.220 these animal testing uh requirements uh for dog testing pesticides on dogs for example something the epa is

00:14:37.760 currently doing but hopefully will end soon and the fda marty mccari at the fda the uh commissioner

00:14:43.760 announced a big plan a couple weeks ago a 10 page uh i think it was like a 10 page plan they released

00:14:50.500 outlining their priorities for reducing animal testing um so that's all steps in the right

00:14:56.020 direction nih has cut some testing doge has cut some testing at the nih but the nih has not yet

00:15:02.580 made any sweeping announcement about cutting animal testing and in fact the only thing they have released

00:15:07.320 is a plan for more spending and more bureaucracy that's not going to save animals

00:15:11.440 um so we're really trying to put some pressure on the nih to do the right thing and end these programs

00:15:18.280 that fauci kept alive for 40 years and finally put them in the grave where they belong so other than

00:15:23.980 going to your website uh let's give our folks the website one more time it is whitecoatwaste.org

00:15:31.180 and then on social media at whitecoatwaste on all the platforms all right and uh if someone else if

00:15:37.360 you want to take additional action what would you recommend should they write the president should

00:15:40.760 they write the who should they write to i think go on social media and tag the president tag the head

00:15:47.580 of the nih jay about acharya at nih uh at potus and just let these people know you want to see taxpayer

00:15:54.840 funding cut for government animal experiments all right i want to thank our guest justin goodman he is

00:16:01.360 the senior vice president of advocacy and public policy for the white coast waste project uh please

00:16:08.920 folks give us a hand here help us save the animals
