00:01:13.140 this is the stone zone with roger stone people love him and respect him roger stone
00:01:32.240 now get in the zone it's the stone zone here's roger stone breaking news
00:01:41.260 And it's Jake Novak and Michael Cohen in for Roger Stone this evening.
00:01:45.020 We're going to start you out with some breaking news,
00:01:46.940 especially as we approach the 25th anniversary of 9-11.
00:01:51.360 I found this decision today to be very interesting.
00:01:53.560 We want to talk about it.
00:01:55.500 A military judge has decided that the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed,
00:01:59.780 remember that guy?
00:02:00.460 That was the guy with all the back hair,
00:02:02.000 and we woke him up in the middle of the night. 0.83
00:02:04.060 He was the one who actually planned the intricate planning of 9-11.
00:02:09.540 And he's been in our custody for a very, very long time, since just a couple of years after 9-11.
00:02:15.060 He's been in our custody.
00:02:16.740 He's been at Gitmo Bay.
00:02:18.220 And now we have a date for his trial.
00:02:19.960 Still pretty far off.
00:02:21.220 It's not going to be until June 5th, 2028.
00:02:23.500 But, Michael Cohen, it will still be a military tribunal.
00:02:27.740 He's not going to get that civil trial that the liberals wanted, that Eric Holder, when he was attorney general, wanted.
00:02:32.740 So I guess that's a good thing.
00:02:34.020 But can you imagine what that trial is going to be like?
00:02:36.120 Under Barack Obama.
00:02:36.940 It was under Barack Obama that they wanted it to be a civil trial.
00:02:41.200 Why?
00:02:42.060 Why?
00:02:42.520 They have him exactly where he belongs.
00:02:45.660 What bothers me the most, you're talking about 27 years.
00:02:50.300 As we now are out to celebrate, and one of the things that we have going on here at 7.7 WABC,
00:02:56.540 they're doing a gala in and for the benefit of first responders and their families and so on,
00:03:05.060 which i think is beautiful but 20 27 years before this piece of garbage ends up seeing um a court
00:03:14.420 or i should say a tribunal decision you know you're an attorney and i know you're a registered 0.70
00:03:19.280 democrat and it's it's refreshing to hear you uh be also on the side i think common sense of not
00:03:25.540 wanting to have a civil trial for this guy we can go into the reasons why i think a civil trial
00:03:29.640 would have been a just an atrocity an atrocity if we could have a civil trial for this guy so i'm
00:03:34.440 glad we're not doing that. There was so much pressure on Holder and Obama, and they ended
00:03:38.300 up changing their mind two years later on this. But, you know, World War II was kind of a big
00:03:42.960 thing, wasn't it? Well, one would think so. Well, we had the Nuremberg trials within a year of the
00:03:47.260 end of that war, and there were some really bad dudes in those trials. This is an outrage that
00:03:52.180 it has been this long. And if you think that somebody like KSM, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, is
00:03:56.760 really, you know, suffering away every day at Gitmo, probably not. I think he's in his element.
00:04:01.820 He probably has a lot of buddies.
00:04:03.520 I don't think that he has been punished properly.
00:04:05.540 So out of the two of us, one of us actually spent some time in the pokey.
00:04:12.800 And it ain't you there, Jake.
00:04:14.360 So let me say this. 0.99
00:04:16.260 It sucks. 0.98
00:04:17.320 All right? 0.99
00:04:17.640 And I can tell you, I was in the low of lows.
00:04:20.840 I was in a place called Otisville, which was a satellite camp. 0.99
00:04:25.020 And it was horrible. 1.00
00:04:26.760 And when I mean horrible, it is horrible.
00:04:29.560 Say whatever you want.
00:04:30.720 Guantanamo Bay is definitively worse and I hope I hope that KSM is being treated poorly I really 0.99
00:04:38.480 do I hope that they're I hope that they're doing at least worse than what they did to me that's 0.99
00:04:45.400 what I hope for this animal who caused the death of so many so many Americans and so many individuals
00:04:51.620 you know um it's it's amazing to me that it because during that period when it was being
00:04:58.460 debated whether or not there would be a civil trial for this guy it was shocking to me how many
00:05:04.420 people didn't understand why a civil trial would be an atrocity can you imagine being a family
00:05:09.060 member of one of the people murdered and you got to hear in open court a lawyer basically saying
00:05:14.040 that your loved one had a common uh also the network right you know because there's the old
00:05:19.620 adage right that every everyone's entitled to the best defense that money can buy and here's the
00:05:25.680 thing that would bother me about that type of a trial you know that there's outside money that
00:05:30.960 would be coming in to the united states nobody talked about that guaranteed 100 money would be
00:05:38.100 coming in from these outside sources and they would end up funding an entire group of of attorneys
00:05:45.360 a real true legal team in order to try to defend this animal well you hit the nail on the head
00:05:51.080 that's exactly what i wanted to talk about the this would have created a financial network and
00:05:55.360 listen they're doing it already in fact there's breaking news tonight also about how antifa in
00:06:00.260 portland was funded by hamas was funded by the irgc not a surprise to me but now that there's
00:06:05.940 evidence of it i think that's big news so it wouldn't have only been all that money coming
00:06:10.500 in but michael cohen the relationships that would have been made the terrorist groups would have
00:06:15.060 made relationships with big time new york law firms and they would have had they would have
00:06:20.280 been able to use them for anything else they might want to use them for it would have been
00:06:23.760 an absolute disaster in addition to being i think incredibly hurtful for the victims families who
00:06:28.680 don't deserve to hear some wisecracking lawyer talking about how somebody at bear stearns or
00:06:33.860 canterford sterile canterford sterile to be more exact you know had a comment you know could you
00:06:38.580 also imagine if no decent law firm ended up taking ksm's case now the taxpayer has to actually foot
00:06:49.360 the bill because you cannot have a trial specifically one such as this without having
00:06:54.740 court appointed counsel meaning we on top of everything have to fund the defense for this
00:07:00.640 monster i i urge everyone to go watch judgment at nuremberg you know that movie holds up the
00:07:06.540 movie was made not you know i think as was early 60s i think it came out um understand how these
00:07:12.780 military trials go it's not like you're not allowed to have a defense it's not like you don't have
00:07:18.000 certain rights but KSM Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was a military combatant against the United States
00:07:24.200 just because it was a an attack on a civilian target doesn't mean it wasn't a military attack
00:07:30.560 and it was Al-Qaeda it was a parallel is it is still is a paramilitary military terrorist army
00:07:37.100 and it makes it made it to me it was one of those things where somebody out there just thought too
00:07:43.180 much of themselves in the legal profession and thought like this was it was just so obvious of
00:07:47.060 course you should deserve a civil trial it only took two years for them to reverse that but here
00:07:51.440 we are it's going to be 17 years after that reversal and 27 years almost after 9-11 before
00:07:57.800 this guy actually sees some kind of a trial i i don't know it's it it seems to be that's an
00:08:03.580 atrocity too that people have to wait that long it's a total miscarriage you know they always say
00:08:07.740 that justice delayed right it's justice denied right i truly feel for the families and by the
00:08:14.520 way I know a bunch of families that lost members I know my next-door neighbor growing up passed
00:08:21.280 away during the 9-11 attacks and I got to tell you something they wouldn't be happy they're not happy
00:08:30.140 that this that this monster is still breathing he doesn't deserve to breathe the air that's my
00:08:37.000 again my opinion and I would have liked to have seen this thing move a whole lot more expeditiously
00:08:43.340 I mean, we have an entire generation of Americans who were born after 9-11 now, don't really know about it, are susceptible to all kinds of lies and other mischaracterizations of the attack.
00:08:56.780 But all you need to do is just listen to what al-Qaeda itself said, what Osama bin Laden said. 0.55
00:09:01.740 And what I would have liked to have seen even more than swift justice in a court of any kind, tribunal or not, would have been for him to have been dealt with like Ayman al-Zahiri.
00:09:10.300 Now, Osama bin Laden, everybody knows, he was like the chairman of the board of al-Qaeda. 0.83
00:09:14.580 He didn't really personally plan stuff.
00:09:17.300 Ayman al-Zahiri was the CEO.
00:09:19.220 Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was the one who was his number one operative for the 9-11 attacks.
00:09:23.560 But Ayman al-Zahiri, four years ago now, almost exactly four years ago, we took out with the CIA operation with the drone.
00:09:30.980 He was living in a fancy building in Kabul.
00:09:33.120 I can't believe there are fancy buildings in Kabul, but I guess there are.
00:09:35.520 When you have their sort of money, you can build something fancy anywhere.
00:09:39.300 Yeah. And it was a precise strike. I mean, I think he was in an apartment building. They went right to the window and got him. That was a good. And he was a terrorist even before we knew what Al Qaeda was. He was also the one behind the assassination of Anwar al-Sadat in Egypt. They let him out. I mean, the whole thing. So to me, that was much. Listen, they want to fight a war, then die like you then die on a battlefield. Get them on a battlefield. But if we got to have a military tribunal, at least let's do that instead of can imagine what the security would have been like in lower Manhattan people coming.
00:10:07.960 I mean, if they're coming there for Luigi Mangione, there probably would have been a bunch of Islamist protesters.
00:10:13.060 You should have seen when I was on trial the amount of people that were flooding the streets. 0.98
00:10:17.720 This would be like nothing that we've ever seen here in New York.
00:10:21.500 And, of course, our mayor would probably be, I don't know, talking nonsense, more nonsense about this trial and how unjust it is. 0.81
00:10:34.460 I mean, think about, for example, like what he's talking about now with this Hindu nationalist. 0.88
00:10:41.240 Yeah.
00:10:42.340 Yeah, there's this.
00:10:43.500 So there's a guy that the there's the party that actually rules India.
00:10:48.160 They actually have a democracy there.
00:10:49.620 They actually have elections there.
00:10:51.660 They've had him for a long time.
00:10:53.200 It's the world.
00:10:53.780 I think they call the world's oldest functioning democracy, the world's largest democracy as far as population is concerned.
00:10:58.580 so the party that is the ruling party the majority party in india it's known as the bjp i'm not going
00:11:05.360 to mispronounce the hindi words so don't worry about that their leader mohan bhagwat is coming
00:11:10.060 to madison square garden on saturday now of course are you going jake well you know i'm going to try
00:11:16.500 i gotta be honest with you i have i have shabbat so you know i'm gonna end up taking a pass yeah i
00:11:22.360 you know i listen it depends on what they're serving i indian food is like my second favorite
00:11:26.260 food and i'm a sucker for it every single time and i'm always looking for new stuff so i can only
00:11:31.060 imagine what the vendors are going to be like there but uh and it's a part of my dreams and
00:11:35.520 i'm not kidding but um it's amazing you know he so mamdani sounds a lot like he sounded
00:11:43.200 when it came to uh netanyahu coming to the to the to new york remember he wanted to try to
00:11:48.400 arrest him but i'm sorry i can't here's what he has to say about this guy from a hind from a hindu
00:11:53.400 party in india he doesn't like him either you know i also stand here as the first indian american
00:11:59.520 mayor in our city's history big deal you're you're you don't they don't like anything about
00:12:04.280 india i don't know yeah big deal continuing and my mother's family is all still in india
00:12:11.040 and the vision of india that i was taught by my my family and the one that i i grew up being
00:12:19.200 very familiar with was of a pluralistic society of a baloney pluralistic society he was brought up
00:12:26.260 by communists communist sympathizers this party the bjp is not just a hint they call it a hindu
00:12:32.520 nationalist party no it's an anti-communist party let's continue secular republic that believed in
00:12:38.320 the belonging of each and every person who was from india and it has been incredibly troubling
00:12:45.580 to see the rise of a movement that is predicated on an exclusionary vision of any country,
00:12:52.360 frankly. And so it is one that I find myself in deep opposition to, not only as an Indian
00:12:57.640 American, but also as the mayor of a city that believes deeply in the belonging of each and
00:13:02.100 every person, no matter their color, their creed, their religion, their faith, wherever they're from.
00:13:07.020 Should the rally be canceled, though, at MSG this weekend?
00:13:10.220 I don't support the rally, but I don't know if the city has any jurisdiction on canceling a
00:13:14.700 private event yeah he's he's he's constantly unable to do this he talks a good game um the
00:13:20.660 bjp party yes it is hoping for a basically a hindu national estate that's what they're going for 0.76
00:13:27.820 they don't want islamists blowing up people in india and so suddenly they're the bad guys uh
00:13:34.440 this is the party of nahendra modi who was a tremendous friend of president trump i don't
00:13:38.780 know if you ever had any dealings with him uh over the years but he's a tremendous ally of
00:13:43.660 this country we got to get them to buy less russian oil but that's another you know listen
00:13:47.080 we don't agree on everything i know that's your mantra you can't agree on everything with somebody 0.82
00:13:50.660 otherwise you should be locked well i certainly don't agree with uh mayor moron mandani uh in
00:13:55.420 light of yeah he's okay with this individual from the bjp coming to madison square garden
00:14:04.140 but he couldn't find the time to participate in the israeli day parade i mean again the but yet
00:14:12.840 he'll turn around and he'll talk about my Jewish brothers and sisters right he'll talk about things
00:14:18.460 like that he'll talk about how this is New York City that this is the the home where everybody
00:14:25.300 race religion creed color it doesn't make a difference unless of course you're Jewish and
00:14:32.680 you want to participate in the Israeli day parade then he's going to put his foot down also Michael
00:14:38.040 cohen he showed up at pakistani events pakistan is an islamist country they're not a pluralistic 0.60
00:14:43.220 society either what a joke india is much more pluralist than pakistan ever will be 0.80
00:14:48.620 uh what a what an absolute joke this guy is and me personally i don't care if he's the first indian 0.82
00:14:55.340 i i don't care whether you're male or female i don't care black white brown it doesn't matter 0.96
00:15:01.440 to me do the job that the new yorkers that all new yorkers need you to do that to me is the most
00:15:09.220 important thing once they start hitting that whole that whole race religion creed color card
00:15:14.320 then you know that they're full of it yeah and the last thing i'll say about this uh mom donnie and
00:15:19.620 all the other people who don't who are upset that there is a more hindu nationalist party that's
00:15:24.120 been ruling india for quite some time now you know what if you didn't want that party to take control
00:15:29.100 then you should have told your so-called pluralist people
00:15:31.280 who were the children and grandchildren of Gandhi, by the way,
00:15:33.960 to stop being communists
00:15:35.180 because that's why the people voted them out.
00:15:37.500 And that's how you got a Hindu nationalist party
00:15:39.720 running your country.
00:15:40.840 But it's still a democracy,
00:15:41.740 and we can't say that about almost any other country
00:15:44.600 in their region.
00:15:45.720 All right, let's take a break right now.
00:15:46.760 It's Jake Novak and Michael Cohen in for Roger Stone
00:15:49.160 here on The Stone Zone.
00:15:50.560 We're going to talk about Kathy Hochul
00:15:52.060 and how she's trying to blame Trump 0.99
00:15:53.860 for your high energy bills.
00:15:55.100 Are you buying that?
00:15:56.160 We'll be right back.
00:15:57.580 The Stone Zone. Entertaining and informative.
00:16:01.620 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:16:13.440 This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:16:17.240 Roger Stone, who's a very, very, one of the smartest political minds.
00:16:21.160 Roger Stone was persecuted. People forget he's actually a brilliant, brilliant political analyst.
00:16:25.260 Now, get in the zone. It's the Stone Zone. Here's Roger Stone.
00:16:31.240 And actually, it's Jake Novak and Michael Cohen in this week for Roger Stone.
00:16:34.400 Thanks for the opportunity. 826 p.m. Eastern Time.
00:16:38.700 Kathy Hochul has been the governor of New York for almost exactly five years, a little more than that. 0.94
00:16:42.560 Five years she's been governor. And people are starting to notice that, boy, you know, my electric bills have been going up and up and up and up.
00:16:49.380 So today she decided to blame it on something that happened just this week.
00:16:52.720 Will she get away with it? Here she is blaming your higher electric bills on new tariffs that 0.90
00:16:57.520 President Trump just just now slapped on Canada. You don't believe me. Here she is now a threat of
00:17:02.600 50 percent tariffs on Canadian cars and trucks and auto parts and steel. This is doing nothing
00:17:10.400 more than wreaking havoc on the American economy, all from his social media account. So it's
00:17:16.180 basically taking money out of our pockets, your pockets and raising costs for everyday New Yorkers
00:17:20.620 just so the president can settle some personal scores okay but kathy i looked at my electric bill
00:17:27.220 and i can see that there's all these extra charges for like solar farm stuff chinese
00:17:32.080 by the way all right hold on one second kathy it's time that it's time that you stopped lying
00:17:37.500 to the new yorkers it's time you stopped lying to the american people my electric bills here
00:17:44.080 in New York City have slowly risen year over year over year for at least the last five years.
00:17:51.540 By the way, Kathy, are you aware who the president of the United States was five years ago?
00:17:57.520 I think his initials are JB.
00:18:00.280 And I'm not talking about Pritzker either.
00:18:01.840 I'm talking about Joe Biden.
00:18:03.900 It has consistently gone up.
00:18:06.000 So the question becomes why?
00:18:07.980 And that's where, that's where, Jake, your point is well taken.
00:18:12.140 You know, I mean, look, we have shut down the lower cost forms of energy that we have nuclear power, which is for those of you who still think we're in the China syndrome.
00:18:22.080 If you're still living in 1979, I got news for you.
00:18:25.760 Nuclear power is imminently safer.
00:18:27.940 And by the way, nuclear waste is much less voluminous, for one thing.
00:18:31.560 And it's much, much, much, much safer to basically get rid of.
00:18:35.280 It is absolutely the best way. 0.83
00:18:38.720 She shut them down.
00:18:39.560 We don't have fracking in this in this state. 1.00
00:18:42.140 And that's because of her and her predecessors, her Democrat predecessors.
00:18:46.200 This is the reason.
00:18:47.260 You don't like the tariffs, and I know that, Michael Cohen, you're not a fan of these tariffs.
00:18:50.580 Listen, no, I'm not.
00:18:51.500 As a dual citizen, no, I'm not.
00:18:54.220 But you know, you can be against the tariffs in Canada, but you don't have to swallow the lies of Kathy Hope.
00:18:59.740 We'll be right back.
00:19:05.720 The Stone Zone.
00:19:07.680 Entertaining and informative.
00:19:09.200 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:19:12.140 this is the stone zone now get in the zone it's the stone zone a man who's gone through hell
00:19:30.600 but he's kept going and he's smart and he's strong and people love him not everybody but
00:19:36.920 People love him and respect him.
00:19:38.440 Roger Stone.
00:19:39.460 Where's Roger Stone?
00:19:40.740 Here's Roger Stone.
00:19:42.680 And it's Jake Novak and Michael Cohen in for Roger Stone on the Stone Zone this weekend.
00:19:46.520 We went to the break talking about Kathy Hochul and the electric bills.
00:19:50.400 But let's broaden this out here.
00:19:51.560 Oh, because we are not.
00:19:52.940 We're not letting her go.
00:19:53.620 The people here at 77WABC will not, under any circumstance, give her a pass.
00:20:00.500 Hell no.
00:20:01.720 No.
00:20:01.920 You know, there's a lot of different angles I have when I talk about Kathy Hochul.
00:20:07.320 One being, I actually think she had the easiest path towards real popularity, not just anti-Trump popularity, not just a bunch of crazy Democrats voting for popularity.
00:20:17.100 Remember, she took over from Andrew Cuomo, who was dealing already, even as early as 2021, with the negative impact of the no-cash bail thing that he supported.
00:20:26.480 It would have been the easiest thing in the world for her to say, all right, that wasn't my policy, we're going to rescind that.
00:20:31.320 her popularity would have gone up 20 points in the polls she's had a lot of other opportunities
00:20:35.420 like this and at the time i was asking michael cohen who was working for this woman why don't 0.98
00:20:39.880 they actually do something to help her popularity and then we found out she had a chinese spy 1.00
00:20:43.340 working for her that's who's working for her no wonder they were undermining her but all kid and 0.71
00:20:47.700 that that's not a joke i mean it's not it's not a joke it really happened she really did she is
00:20:52.660 legitimately maybe even worse than andrew cuomo as far as i think she being our governor i think
00:21:00.340 by leaps and bounds
00:21:02.160 and I think it's enough
00:21:03.780 it's enough for New York to keep
00:21:06.300 settling with one governor
00:21:08.460 one mayor after another
00:21:10.440 that just
00:21:11.540 they don't think about New York
00:21:14.680 they don't think about
00:21:16.160 the citizens
00:21:17.860 they're thinking about themselves
00:21:19.820 they're thinking about their next political campaign
00:21:22.820 and filling up their coffers
00:21:24.500 and that is why
00:21:25.780 and I'm asking every single one of you listening
00:21:28.460 right now
00:21:29.460 make sure that you get out and you vote make sure you get out and you vote for bruce blakeman now
00:21:35.980 look i'm not gonna ever talk about it by the way again i am a registered democrat though the
00:21:40.900 identify as an independent i cannot be a part of this group of nonsense uh i they they do not
00:21:48.280 represent my beliefs or my values but i'm saying not to vote for somebody whose common sense
00:21:55.340 like Bruce Blakeman is such a shonda I mean it is such a travesty Bruce is a great guy he's done
00:22:03.660 a great job in Nassau County I am a Nassau County resident Michael Cohen's a former Nassau County 1.00
00:22:07.980 resident so we know that and we know it well look um a couple of things about Bruce Blakeman and
00:22:14.940 this election against Kathy Hochul I went as soon as Mom Donnie was elected I made the point that
00:22:20.240 Blakeman needs to make the case to the rest of the New York state that Mom Donnie isn't just a
00:22:25.100 threat to new york city he's a threat to all of you with the taxes he's gonna want and all the
00:22:28.720 money the bailout money that he's getting from albany so you know and he has made that case
00:22:32.940 you know he needs to go to rochester go to anianta go to plattsburgh and tell them hey
00:22:38.000 you think this is just a new york city problem you this state needs to be protected and the
00:22:43.000 city needs to be protected from zora momdani and bruce blakeman as governor has a lot of power in
00:22:47.400 our state constitution to rein in momdani he can even have him basically removed but that's another
00:22:51.680 the story but Kathy Hochul is trying to run this election against Donald Trump and I have to ask
00:22:58.180 the people of New York are you going to let her get away with that are you really going to let
00:23:01.060 her get away with all the problems in New York that were that she has caused or caused during
00:23:06.120 the Biden administration and really are you going to vote against Donald Trump by voting for this 0.53
00:23:10.380 woman look it's really fair to turn around and to say I don't agree with every single one of Trump's
00:23:16.500 policies I think it's okay for people to say that we all come from different places we have
00:23:22.820 different beliefs different views it is okay to say you know what I don't like that policy but
00:23:29.980 but to turn around and to do the things that Kathy Hochul is doing and not to even be able to accept
00:23:37.360 the responsibility for her own mistake instead let's just pile on and say this is all Donald
00:23:43.660 trump's fault really how is this trump's fault when my electric bills here in new york and i can
00:23:50.040 show you my electric bills have consistently gone up year after year i've never had a reduction
00:23:56.760 in my electric bills right and i'm living in new york since 1991 i have never had a year where
00:24:03.440 there was a rebate no every year so you want to go back five years kathy hochel who was the
00:24:09.360 president again joe biden right and it's not it's not donald trump who got rid of cash bail which
00:24:16.320 has made law and order a real problem in the city now and in the whole state now here's another
00:24:21.380 thing she constantly tries to pivot to issues that she thinks will help her and help focus on
00:24:27.940 donald trump so her latest thing the last couple of weeks has been trying to get basically all new
00:24:32.380 york state troopers not to ever cooperate with ice because she thinks ice is that's that her
00:24:37.740 consultants are telling her, like, everybody hates ICE, and everyone thinks that ICE is all about
00:24:42.120 Trump. So say that the New York City police and the New York State troop police are not going to
00:24:46.940 ever cooperate with ICE, which, by the way, no court is going to allow that to continue, and the
00:24:50.900 police officers themselves are not happy with. Here's the thing about ICE, Michael Cohen. Last
00:24:56.160 month, ICE had its biggest number of arrests ever, 50,000 arrests. I did the math. It's about 1,600
00:25:02.260 under duress a day it's an amazing amazing record of how few you think that there's been a lot of
00:25:09.060 incidents of violence this is the law enforcement agency in this country that is having the most
00:25:13.680 engagements with people every single day almost 2 000 a day and on some days and the fact that
00:25:19.680 i know you've heard about some of these big cases that happen in minneapolis or happen
00:25:23.260 what the fact that i think it's an incredibly low number of violence considering the amount
00:25:28.460 of engagements. I think this is probably the most moral and ethical and restrained law enforcement
00:25:34.320 force I've ever heard of. The NYPD would love to have the low percentage of actual violent
00:25:39.180 incidents if they arrested that many people. And by the way, today I was successful in securing
00:25:44.780 for my podcast, for my show, shouldn't even call it podcast for my radio show. When you know,
00:25:49.760 you know, which is on Sundays at 5 p.m. I was lucky and I'm able to secure Tom Homan is going
00:25:56.480 to be on my show. Maybe not this Sunday. It'll be the Sunday after. I'm not 100% sure, but he is
00:26:02.060 going to be calling in, setting it up. It will be set up tomorrow because these are the questions
00:26:06.860 that I want to ask him. I want people to understand, again, you could be for immigration
00:26:13.840 change and not be necessarily okay with every single ICE agent. You know, there's the old
00:26:21.100 expression right a bad apple should not spoil the whole barrel fine if there is an ICE agent that
00:26:27.920 steps out of line that does something wrong that does something which is illegal or immoral so you
00:26:34.500 deal with it it's the same thing in a classroom when you were a kid there was always the wise
00:26:39.140 ass inside the classroom that didn't mean you shut the classroom down it just meant that you
00:26:44.060 excise that one individual put him in the corner or reprimand him or even maybe suspend him
00:26:50.200 there are there are things that could be done i personally believe that every country should have
00:26:57.900 its borders every country does trump used to always say a country without borders quite frankly
00:27:03.280 isn't a country and i think everyone whether you're republican democrat or independent needs
00:27:08.860 to ascribe to that belief now does that mean that our immigration policy is good no it's not it needs
00:27:15.880 reform it needs to be updated the system is difficult so make a system that everyone can
00:27:21.460 follow and ICE DHS absolutely doing their job now again does that mean that every ICE agent is good
00:27:30.020 no no and it's fair two truths can take place at the same time Jake yes but I think that overall
00:27:37.300 considering the amount of engagements ICE is is dealing with every single day the it is an
00:27:42.940 incredibly low amount of problems, incredibly low amount of bad apples showing their faces.
00:27:48.560 I'm just doing the math here. The NYPD doesn't arrest 1,800 people a day or 2,000 people a day.
00:27:54.840 If it did, believe me, we would have a lot more incidents. And not that the NYPD is worse,
00:27:58.960 the NYPD is worse. I think it's just an incredibly good job that ICE is doing. Now,
00:28:03.320 ICE has actually had, indirectly or directly, two big court victories today. The first one came
00:28:08.700 with this LaMonica McIver.
00:28:10.500 She's a Democrat congresswoman from New Jersey, 1.00
00:28:12.800 caught on tape, putting her hands on ICE officials 1.00
00:28:16.120 at that Delaney Hall ICE detention center last year.
00:28:19.920 If you remember that video,
00:28:22.120 she would try to get the case against her 0.99
00:28:23.840 for putting her hands on an assault.
00:28:25.320 I mean, this is, you know, you can't do that
00:28:26.660 against law enforcement,
00:28:28.080 no matter whether you like the agency or not.
00:28:30.140 She tried to get her case thrown out
00:28:31.480 and in a two to one appeals court decision
00:28:33.360 written by a Biden appointed judge said,
00:28:36.420 no, her case is going to go forward.
00:28:38.060 So that's a victory for ICE. You don't want members of Congress getting away with punching you or pushing and things like that.
00:28:43.560 The other victory on the ICE board here is that there was one ICE agent who is accused of being a bad apple shooting into a home in Minneapolis.
00:28:53.480 And we'll get all the details of the case. And the bullet ended up apparently allegedly in the leg of a Venezuelan illegal immigrant.
00:29:01.180 He had been detained in Texas because Minneapolis, Minnesota wanted to indict him. Minnesota wanted to put him on trial and jail him.
00:29:08.060 And Governor Abbott of Texas did not want to keep him in detention.
00:29:11.640 And the courts allowed Governor Abbott to.
00:29:13.860 And that's a case of just jurisdiction.
00:29:15.320 You can't force another governor without any federal law to extradite someone to your state unless the federal law requires that.
00:29:23.880 So two big victories for ICE today in the courts.
00:29:26.980 I think that's good.
00:29:28.000 And yet I go back to the same belief that two things could be true at the same time.
00:29:33.440 ICE is doing a great job at the same time.
00:29:36.740 there are agents. Let's not fool ourselves. You see, that's the difference between what I try to
00:29:44.180 do and what others try to do. I want to believe that facts matter, that these hypotheticals,
00:29:51.440 these innuendos, the lies that are coming out of this far left, these woke, nonsensical fools, 0.98
00:29:58.600 that facts actually matter. And what's a fact? Yeah, there are bad apples inside of ICE. There 0.98
00:30:05.720 are some bad ice agents but as you said jake they're few and far between the problem the problem
00:30:12.300 is that every single time that there is an incident and there are every single program
00:30:18.020 that is on the left they play it 24 7 so you think that that one individual is both the numerator and
00:30:28.180 the denominator it is not it is not throw out some of the numbers that you were just talking
00:30:33.560 so that people get a chance to understand that when you have, for example,
00:30:38.560 50,000 arrests in a series of a month, just do the math yourself.
00:30:43.240 Numbers don't lie.
00:30:44.480 People do.
00:30:45.160 So take the math, look at the numbers, and then say to yourself,
00:30:48.880 out of all of the arrests, of all of the deportations it's on,
00:30:52.500 how many people have actually been harmed?
00:30:55.500 By the way, it should be zero, but as we know, things happen.
00:30:59.780 that's it's 1666 people on average per day getting arrested by us and by the way we know
00:31:06.700 with the you know more than 10 maybe 20 million illegal immigrants who came in under the biden
00:31:11.440 administration that's just a drop in the bucket i get it but you know what and we know that ice
00:31:16.540 is is at least they're telling us this and it seems like they are prioritizing real criminals 0.81
00:31:21.500 whether they're violent or not but serious criminals on top of being an illegal immigrant
00:31:24.920 they're not they're just going after i mean they're they're making that a priority no one
00:31:28.820 has been able to prove that isn't true they've been going after some some bad people and look
00:31:34.200 it to me i'm just from human nature from the cluster f blank you know the cluster f that is
00:31:40.880 arresting people and i just i would expect a lot more incidents i would i would have expected even
00:31:47.340 from a good force to have a lot more shootings and a lot more fights and a lot more accidental
00:31:52.000 deaths i don't want it but i would expect it just based on the map too in fact to those of you that
00:31:56.260 are listening I'm certain that you've already heard that I had President Trump on my show and
00:32:02.600 we've played it it's available on 77 WABC app and so on but the point that Trump wanted to make
00:32:10.000 is that under the Biden administration how many illegals were pouring through our southern border
00:32:16.080 as of today according to President Trump himself on my show he turned around and he said there are
00:32:23.180 no people coming across illegally our borders so that actually should be considered a success
00:32:31.540 but unfortunately the left can't even give him the success or the accomplishments to anything
00:32:38.420 that's done and that is going to be the biggest demise come these november elections michael
00:32:44.900 cohen you talked about the math we're going to go to a break but i want to say something about that
00:32:48.540 It's 1,600 arrests every day or detainments every day, but it's more than that, right?
00:32:55.060 Because for every person who's detained, that's another person who isn't going to try to cross the border tomorrow.
00:33:01.180 So it may be millions, really, in a net gain or a net loss of illegal immigration, and that is very important.
00:33:08.180 We had what I like to call an attractive nuisance in this country, like a swimming pool that isn't properly locked up.
00:33:13.940 We're telling people, well, you know, you're not going to get arrested,
00:33:16.340 so come across the border with the coyotes and whatever it is,
00:33:19.860 and maybe you'll make it, maybe you won't.
00:33:21.360 We close that attractive nuisance.
00:33:23.060 And now, every time there's a headline about an ICE arrest,
00:33:26.240 that's one more person who isn't going to come across the border tomorrow.
00:33:29.180 All right, we're going to wrap things up here on The Stone Zone.
00:33:31.440 It's Jake Novak and Michael Cohen here.
00:33:33.360 You'll be with us tomorrow night and Friday night as well, I'm sure.
00:33:36.560 Stay with us. We've got more to come.
00:33:38.600 The Stone Zone.
00:33:40.540 Entertaining and informative.
00:33:42.080 on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:33:54.500 This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
00:33:58.300 Roger Stone, who's a very, very, one of the smartest political minds.
00:34:02.220 Roger Stone was persecuted.
00:34:03.440 People forget he's actually a brilliant, brilliant political analyst.
00:34:06.500 Now, get him a zone.
00:34:08.320 It's the Stone Zone.
00:34:09.860 Here's Roger Stone.
00:34:12.080 And actually, it's Jake Novak and Michael Cohen live in for Roger Stone this week. 0.99
00:34:16.720 And believe it or not, everyone, we almost left we almost let Mayor Zoran, the moron, the mayor, off the hook. 0.99
00:34:24.000 We almost left him off the let him off the hook. 0.99
00:34:26.380 We were talking about how he's against this Hindu party leader who's going to be speaking on Saturday and he's against this party.
00:34:33.240 He thinks it's racist and terrible, but he can't do anything about it, just like he can't arrest Netanyahu.
00:34:37.400 But he did something even worse in the last 24 hours, which is he put out a tweet, a social media comment expressing condolences for somebody.
00:34:45.440 I'm going to let Michael Cohen tell the rest.
00:34:46.600 On my birthday yesterday, my 60th birthday, Mayor Moron Mondani went ahead and he issued a statement in regard to the Riker Island custody death of the meat cleaver murder suspect.
00:35:03.260 41 year old clarence woodward who suffered oh poor baby a medical emergency and died while in
00:35:12.120 the doc custody at rikers mind you yeah mind you 27 prior arrest by the way right that's the point
00:35:19.700 i wanted to make 27 and yet this is who he is making statements on behalf of that's right it's
00:35:28.580 not the fact that listen if someone dies in custody i'm not expecting the mayor to be happy
00:35:33.880 about it i'm not expecting him not to want to look into it that's fine but this is who he chooses to
00:35:39.360 make a public statement about it's the public statement remember at the end of the day and
00:35:44.080 this is one of the things that's bad about politics not just american politics unfortunately
00:35:48.300 at the end of the day in politics very often and it shouldn't be this way words end up speaking
00:35:53.560 louder than actions and that's not the kind of person you want to deal with in life and all that 0.99
00:35:56.820 kind of stuff but that said words are important yeah talking about words jake yeah this moron 0.99
00:36:02.360 this moron turns around releases the statement and says and i quote here deeply saddened he's 0.99
00:36:11.040 deeply saddened for what has been referred to as the laundromat meat cleaver murderer then he goes 1.00
00:36:17.300 on he because the schmuck just can't stop himself and i quote again we do not yet know the cause of 0.89
00:36:24.440 death but we do know that too many new yorkers have died on rikers island so there's the there's 0.98
00:36:31.120 the agenda right there again it's the fact that he's making a statement about it don't don't call
00:36:35.740 into the station or post on facebook and say michael cohen and jake novak said the mayor should
00:36:39.700 be happy about a guy dying in rikers island that's not what we're saying we're saying the fact that
00:36:44.180 he made a statement about this publicly get by all means get on the phone to the warden find out
00:36:49.780 what happened but a public statement about a person like this and why is he doing it because
00:36:54.380 he's trying to create a public mythology about rikers island because he wants to close it he
00:36:59.780 wants to close all jails this is what these communists want they want jails closed so that
00:37:04.000 you know they'll they'll send you to a re-education so don't worry the communists will create something
00:37:07.920 other than jail for their enemies don't worry about that but this is the so it doesn't matter
00:37:12.840 who the person is he doesn't really care uh about this guy's family and he certainly doesn't care
00:37:18.300 about the victims of this guy that this guy the victim the guy killed and also injured and another
00:37:21.940 person that he injured he's just against Rikers so anything anything time anything goes wrong
00:37:26.540 wrong at Rikers if someone slips and falls if somehow they don't get to watch the world series
00:37:31.200 nurse ratchet if somehow the food isn't great he's gonna put that on he's gonna he's gonna he's
00:37:36.540 gonna tweet about it because he wants you to think that Rikers is well first of all it should be a
00:37:41.140 hellhole and I'll say that the old Richard Pryor joke which is not a joke because it's true when
00:37:45.100 you go to a state prison the first thing you say is thank god for this place you know let me say
00:37:50.940 one thing too it's more than just wanting to get rid of um rikers island it's a whole lot more than
00:37:58.520 that it also has to do with his desire to get rid of ice told now again he is the mayor of new york
00:38:07.800 do your job. Do the job that a bunch of dummies elected you to do here in New York. He's already 0.96
00:38:15.540 taking a totally different position. In fact, at the beginning of August of 2026, he put out a
00:38:22.920 statement, and this had to do with an incident that involved an El Salvadorian immigrant,
00:38:27.940 Edward Lopez Cornejo, who died after experiencing a medical emergency while he was in ICE custody at
00:38:34.940 that delaney hall here's what our mayor had to say he turns around and i quote has foregrounded
00:38:42.480 cruelty and humanity and renewed his executive position that ice should be abolished what
00:38:49.760 executive position does this dope actually think he holds you know i grew up in a world
00:38:55.600 where local politicians used to pray for the feds to come and take the expense of jailing
00:39:02.280 arresting and getting criminals out of the city ice should be from a common sense point of view
00:39:07.860 the greatest thing that ever happened to any mayor of any city wait you're gonna come into my jail
00:39:12.320 and take my taxpayers uh money off of this situation and take them away you're gonna get
00:39:17.380 them off the street thank you very much can you also do something about i mean it's amazing how
00:39:21.920 against by the way when you're at it can you film some of those potholes yeah i mean ice is actually
00:39:26.780 the greatest thing that ever happened to mayors the fact that they're not loving ice this goes
00:39:31.100 to show how mixed up and messed up
00:39:33.060 they are.
