00:01:37.420 is Sam Antar.
00:01:39.060 Sam Antar has kind of an interesting history of his own.
00:01:43.600 He was charged in one of the greatest
00:01:47.760 major security fraud schemes in history.
00:01:51.400 He did his time and he has reinvented himself
00:01:54.560 as a whistleblower, an expert of forensic accounting.
00:01:59.000 By the way, he's a Democrat.
00:02:00.880 He's not a Trump supporter.
00:02:02.820 He runs a great website called whitecollarfraud.com,
00:02:07.320 and he's documented the many, many examples of mortgage fraud by Letitia James,
00:02:14.320 and he joins us now.
00:02:16.320 Sam, welcome in to the Stone Zone.
00:02:18.820 Thank you for having me on, Roger.
00:02:21.220 So, Sam, I'm going to sit back here a little bit
00:02:23.540 let you tell people what happened.
00:02:26.100 This is quite a blockbuster story
00:02:28.940 because it proves that Bill Pulte was right,
00:02:31.920 proves that you were right.
00:02:34.420 This idea that you're some kind of Republican
00:02:36.540 and that you were somehow directed
00:02:38.540 to these public disclosures by Republicans.
00:02:42.260 I know you.
00:02:43.380 You're a liberal Democrat.
00:02:45.360 You call them as you see them,
00:02:46.940 but this incredible email just suddenly pops up
00:02:51.100 and then it disappears.
00:02:52.960 How coincidental.
00:02:55.320 Well, there are two stories here.
00:02:57.380 The first story is whether it was politically motivated.
00:03:01.220 And I can tell you it wasn't because I discovered the mortgage fraud, initially discovered the mortgage fraud.
00:03:07.520 Other people did additional work like Joel Gilbert.
00:03:10.760 But I initially discovered the mortgage fraud with Patricia James, as I was writing about her campaign finance expense excesses.
00:03:20.220 In other words, one thing led to the other.
00:03:23.820 That's all on my blog.
00:03:24.880 You can see I was blogging about her earlier, and then I morphosized or I evolved into her personal finances.
00:03:33.140 Now, when this thing hit the press, all of a sudden Tish James is saying that it's politically motivated.
00:03:43.100 I'm a Democrat.
00:03:44.080 I really don't like Donald Trump.
00:03:45.740 Actually, I can't stand him.
00:03:47.160 So I agree with some of his policies, but then again, I agree with some of everybody's policies.
00:03:51.700 Nobody's 100% right or 100% wrong on any issue.
00:03:55.740 And what they did was they started investigating Bill Pulte, the DOJ,
00:04:00.860 and Congressman Robert Garcia sends a letter using congressional lead ads
00:04:06.720 saying that Saul sends from Sam Anta a fringe right-wing blogger,
00:04:12.660 and we demand all the communications between Anta and Pulte,
00:04:16.440 In which I respond, OK, bring me to Congress. I'll tell you everything you want to know. Just let the cameras roll when I'm talking and let's exchange it next to me.
00:04:25.360 So this is what was going on. They were trying to obscure the argument.
00:04:29.980 They were trying to distract from the argument and say that this is politically motivated without actually answering the charges.
00:04:37.620 Now, here's the thing. Even if I am a Republican, even if I am currently a criminal, that does not absolve Letitia James from what she did.
00:04:48.780 Even if it was politically motivated, which it wasn't, it does not absolve Letitia James from what she did.
00:04:56.680 Her signature is on 13 mortgages that contain false misrepresentations, false information.
00:05:05.640 Now, when we get to the second story is the email itself.
00:05:09.860 The government cannot just delete emails.
00:05:12.660 There are retention policies.
00:05:14.460 There are laws that guard information from being, I'll call it, deep six, making it disappear.
00:05:21.360 That email appeared on the screen of 2,000 employees within her agency.
00:05:31.540 Therefore, okay, it was sent out.
00:05:34.420 Now, according to my sources, there's an actual screenshot of the email before it disappeared.
00:05:41.800 Now, the question is, if the email was taken down, was it scrubbed from the server or is it stolen the server?
00:05:49.340 And if it was scrubbed from the server, who ordered that to be scrubbed from the server?
00:05:56.360 So there are questions that have to be answered.
00:05:58.480 Number one is, why was the email taken down?
00:06:00.900 was the email scrubbed from the server and who ordered the email to be scrubbed from the server
00:06:06.420 or to be taken down this is a violation of new york state law you just can't just you know
00:06:13.500 throw something into the trash can and say forget about it you make an excellent point here uh she
00:06:22.240 ran for the office of attorney general vowing to get donald trump uh her colleague alan alvin
00:06:29.380 Bragg actually said something very similar, demonstrating that the prosecution of Trump
00:06:35.020 in three outrageous New York trials were the height of lawfare, that along with the efforts
00:06:40.620 to keep him off the ballot, an effort to, in the valuations case, absurd to say that
00:06:47.260 the palatial Mar-a-Lago estate and club is only worth $18 million.
00:06:51.700 Please give me a break.
00:06:53.180 The E. Jean Carroll case, which is even more absurd, pretty clear that Carroll perjured herself when she said she was receiving no financial assistance during that trial when the facts now prove that that was not the case.
00:07:11.100 and then, of course, the bragged, the hush money case
00:07:14.620 where Michael Cohen has actually come on these very same airwaves
00:07:18.180 and now says that his testimony in that matter was false,
00:07:22.820 that he was pressured into saying the things that he said.
00:07:26.520 So the entire lawfare tsunami against Donald Trump
00:07:31.780 has systematically fallen apart in New York
00:07:34.500 and now Letitia James is, I think, completely exposed.
00:07:38.700 No, it's not about retaliation and revenge. It's about justice and accountability.
00:07:44.640 Here's the other great irony, and you know this, Sam.
00:07:47.740 Letitia James has herself prosecuted people for the exact same crime that she was charged in the Eastern District of Virginia with.
00:08:00.440 She herself has prosecuted people for this crime.
00:08:04.120 So to say that it is not a crime or a manufactured crime or politically motivated, all that is completely false.
00:08:12.540 In this case, all you have to do is follow the documents.
00:08:17.300 The mortgage, one mortgage says that the property had four units when it actually had five units.
00:08:24.500 Okay.
00:08:24.880 That appears about 10 times over 20 years.
00:08:28.580 four units versus five units why the difference because if it was five units okay she represented 0.90
00:08:36.160 that it was five units instead of four she would have paid a higher interest rate higher insurance 0.91
00:08:42.080 and also had to make a larger down payment then there was one where she represented to the bank 1.00
00:08:48.500 that um she lived that she was going to make virginia her primary residence she never did it 1.00
00:08:55.600 She never made it.
00:08:56.620 This was during the Donald Trump trial.
00:08:59.340 Not during, right before the Donald Trump trial where she made that representation.
00:09:04.360 On and on and on.
00:09:06.360 All you got to do is look at the signature, look at the representation, and then look at the documents that are supposed to back up the representation.
00:09:15.420 And you will see the documents, the documents conflict with what she had represented in her mortgages.
00:09:23.680 It's a simple, open, and shut case.
00:09:26.620 It doesn't matter if Donald Trump targeted her, which he did not in this case.
00:09:32.000 And I take that as an info.
00:09:33.260 I, as a citizen of the United States of America, a whistleblower, that's what I do for a living.
00:09:38.820 I was the one that exposed it.
00:09:40.760 Not Donald Trump.
00:09:41.740 I have no idea how people would think that I have anything to do with him.
00:09:45.920 I have nothing to do with him.
00:09:48.420 Well, you told me you didn't vote for him, so I certainly believe you.
00:09:52.620 This is a strange...
00:09:54.620 I'm an old school Democrat.
00:09:56.360 I follow you.
00:09:58.200 This is an extraordinary turn of events for Letitia James, who may have thought that she was in the clear.
00:10:04.920 I think the statute of limitations on these crimes has not run.
00:10:08.940 I still believe that she could and should be charged because we can't have a two-tiered justice system,
00:10:16.560 which some people can engage in mortgage fraud and other people cannot.
00:10:22.280 What's really amazing to me is the Albany Times Union, which, folks, I'm going to be honest with you, perhaps the worst newspaper in America, certainly one of the most left-leaning, broke this story.
00:10:32.100 But then the great Miranda Devine, one of the best investigative reporters in the country, has a terrific column up on it now, which I commend you to read.
00:10:42.520 It is an amazing turn of events.
00:10:46.640 Perhaps Letitia James thought she was in the clear does not appear that way to me.
00:10:51.820 Now, whether the Justice Department will choose to re-indict her, which they certainly could do,
00:10:58.020 look, many people thought that Lindsey Halligan, who was appointed the acting U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia
00:11:05.380 when President Donald Trump learned that the sitting U.S. attorney had an egregious conflict of interest in the James Comey case,
00:11:13.520 never disclosed that his father-in-law was the godfather to Comey's daughters,
00:11:21.880 never disclosed his father-in-law had been a personal attorney for James Comey.
00:11:26.800 He was removed from that position, technically resigned, but he resigned ahead of being fired.
00:11:32.840 And Lindsey Halligan, who was a Trump loyalist and a very fine attorney,
00:11:37.460 because she was once a beauty pageant queen, people had the idea that she wasn't bright. 0.98
00:11:42.080 that was idiotic she was a brilliant lawyer took the case to a grand jury the grand jury 0.99
00:11:48.280 issued an indictment so much for the idea that this is all bogus as you point out this is a 1.00
00:11:55.280 documents case this is not a testimony case this is a documents case and the documents prove
00:12:01.400 that Letitia James should have been prosecuted and this was only short-circuited by three federal
00:12:08.340 judges who I think went out of their way violating both the canon of ethics and in the law to knock
00:12:13.920 out the prosecutor rather than have this case go to trial. If you're just tuning in, we're talking
00:12:20.100 to Sam Antar. He is the editor and publisher of whitecollarfraud.com, where you can find
00:12:26.300 documentation of everything we're talking about today. But the breaking news here is that an email
00:12:32.680 from a top prosecutor in Letitia James' own office
00:12:37.440 points out that he was told very specifically
00:12:40.160 to target Donald Trump for a crime,
00:12:45.180 any crime, without evidence of the crime to go along with it.
00:12:49.520 Right now we're talking to Sam Antar
00:12:51.540 because Letitia James, New York Attorney General, 0.99
00:12:55.160 and her defenders who scream constantly about weaponizing justice 0.99
00:12:59.160 every time the Trump Justice Department looks their way
00:13:01.780 have now been busted because an email has leaked from one of her top prosecutors,
00:13:07.400 one Daniel Wiesenfeld, in which it is very clear that he was directed by his superiors
00:13:13.860 to find something, anything, against Donald Trump. 0.90
00:13:19.240 The hypocrisy here is staggering. 0.94
00:13:21.200 We both know. We all know.
00:13:23.380 If a Republican attorney general would order staff to manufacture cases against Democrats,
00:13:28.100 the fake news media would be screaming fascism around the clock.
00:13:32.980 Instead, what we have today is silence.
00:13:36.160 Ironic, as I said earlier, that the story was broken by the Albany Times Union,
00:13:41.620 conceivably one of the worst newspapers in America,
00:13:44.420 but a great column by Miranda Devine,
00:13:48.680 the great investigative reporter at the New York Post,
00:13:51.500 who really broke the Hunter Biden laptop story,
00:13:54.540 that column, Miranda Devine's
00:13:57.540 Attorney General Letitia James 1.00
00:13:58.920 turns an evil eye on Trump 1.00
00:14:00.420 and a blind eye to New York crime
00:14:02.840 I highly commend that piece to you
00:14:04.800 if you haven't read it already
00:14:06.820 we've got about three minutes
00:14:08.320 I want to wrap up here with Sam Antar
00:14:10.780 Sam Antar is the editor and publisher
00:14:13.160 of whitecollarfraud.com
00:14:15.780 he is
00:14:17.020 not a Republican, not a conservative
00:14:19.180 not a Trump supporter
00:14:20.600 he is an investigative journalist
00:14:22.840 at this point, a forensic accountant, and a brilliant guy who did the underlying research
00:14:28.500 that proved that Letitia James was without any question guilty of the very same type of mortgage
00:14:33.960 fraud that she prosecuted average New Yorkers for. Bill Pote, the head of the Federal Housing
00:14:40.700 Finance Agency, correctly and rightly referred that to the Department of Justice for prosecution 0.99
00:14:45.960 because, well, Letitia James should be held to the same standard as everyone else. The case was 0.99
00:14:52.520 dismissed essentially because of a technicality never went to trial so she has not been vindicated
00:14:58.640 but this shocking development proves uh that she has turned her office into a partisan political
00:15:07.240 hit squad reason false email here is one of the rare cracks in the wall uh new yorkers should 1.00
00:15:13.860 demand the full truth not another cover-up forget paid leave letitia james has spent years abusing
00:15:20.240 of power now i think the bill is coming due we've got about a minute to finish here sam
00:15:25.340 your final thoughts when i used to teach law enforcement about fraud whether it's the fbi
00:15:32.280 the irs and any other three-lettered agency i used to teach him that the distraction
00:15:37.580 was more important than the lie because if you can distract you never have to explain the law
00:15:45.520 This is a documents case. All you need to do is look at the four corners of the documents. Like you said earlier, there's no testimony needed. The documents speak for herself and the fingerprints are all over it.
00:15:59.400 Everything else you hear about whether it's politically motivated and everything else is noise designed to distract you from getting to the truth.
00:16:10.520 That's all it is.
00:16:11.940 That's what criminals do.
00:16:13.680 The distraction is always more important than the lie.
00:16:18.600 Very, very well put.
00:16:20.840 Yet another example of two-tier justice. 0.99
00:16:23.800 It remains to be seen whether the Justice Department will reindict Tisha James.
00:16:28.220 I'm praying that they do so.
00:16:29.580 We have a new Attorney General.
00:16:31.000 I have high hopes that he will do that.
00:16:33.780 He certainly still has the authority to do it.
00:16:36.300 This does fall within the statute of limitations.
00:16:39.680 Sonnet Insurance wants to know,
00:16:41.480 what would you do with an extra hour in your day
00:16:43.400 and more money in your pocket?
