00:00:59.220 This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone.

00:01:13.280 People love him and respect him. Roger Stone.

00:01:16.040 Now, get him his own. It's the Stone Zone. Here's Roger Stone.

00:01:23.200 And welcome, everyone, to the Stone Zone. I am filling in for Roger Stone this evening.

00:01:27.160 I'm Jake Novak, and I'm really, really grateful for all of you who are going to stand by with us

00:01:32.440 and stand by with me as I fill in for Roger.

00:01:35.580 Especially grateful to Krolis and Phil on the other side of the glass,

00:01:38.980 who have been so helpful to me coming in here tonight on very short notice.

00:01:43.900 But, boy, what a great opportunity this is to talk to all of you, speak to all of you across the country.

00:01:49.060 And for those of you, I think, some of you probably listening from outside the country.

00:01:53.360 It's a great opportunity. It feels great.

00:01:56.440 But what doesn't feel great is the big picture in America right now.

00:02:00.120 And I wish this weren't true.

00:02:01.740 I'm not saying this to get clicks or to get more people to listen to me.

00:02:05.880 I only tell you the truth.

00:02:07.120 If it does get more clicks and more listeners, that's great.

00:02:10.100 But we, ladies and gentlemen, are absolutely in the midst of the Second American Civil War.

00:02:16.200 There's no other way to say it.

00:02:18.060 Now, when I say that, I'm not talking about a civil war like million-man armies on either side

00:02:24.320 fighting battles with cannons and bayonets and tanks and missiles and things like that.

00:02:28.660 We're not there.

00:02:30.120 I really hope we don't get there.

00:02:32.240 We did that once in this country.

00:02:34.060 And when you count all the military deaths and the civilian deaths,

00:02:36.860 by the way, there's some new estimates.

00:02:38.920 It used to be 500,000 when I was a kid.

00:02:40.740 Then the historians upped it to 600,000.

00:02:42.520 Now they're saying that in the American Civil War of 1861 to 1865,

00:02:46.500 there were 700,000 Americans who died, civilians and military combined.

00:02:53.340 So I really, really hope we don't get there.

00:02:55.520 But for those of you who are Civil War buffs or remember your high school American history,

00:02:59.600 here's where we are right now.

00:03:01.180 We are in the Bleeding Kansas period of the Second American Civil War.

00:03:07.320 You know what Bleeding Kansas was?

00:03:08.560 This was a territory before it was declared a state.

00:03:12.180 And there were pro-slavers in Kansas and there were anti-slavers in Kansas.

00:03:16.580 And they used to kill each other.

00:03:18.520 Literally.

00:03:19.000 They went out and they killed each other with pitchforks, with guns, the whole nine yards.

00:03:24.040 Now, we're in the Bleeding Kansas portion of this Second American Civil War.

00:03:29.040 That said, only one side is really doing the killing.

00:03:32.580 In Bleeding Kansas, it was the pro-slavers and the anti-slavers who got pretty good body count on both sides.

00:03:38.160 It's still the left.

00:03:39.720 It's still the American Communist movement.

00:03:42.280 It's still the anti-Trump movement.

00:03:43.900 It's still the anti-constitutional movement.

00:03:46.060 It's still the tyrannical movement that's doing just about all of the killing right now.

00:03:50.100 And yes, I understand that ICE has had to neutralize some of these people,

00:03:53.640 but those were responses to attacks on them first.

00:03:56.900 The attacking and the physical violence, whether we're talking about the assassination of Charlie Kirk,

00:04:01.720 the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, the continued attacks on ICE agents,

00:04:07.240 and even the hotels or cars that may be associated with them.

00:04:10.340 These are very violent people.

00:04:12.600 And they remind me of the pro-slavers.

00:04:16.140 And I'll tell you why I make that comparison in a second.

00:04:18.740 Another reason why.

00:04:19.420 They remind me of the pro-slavers I learned about in junior high and high school and then later in college.

00:04:25.160 I took an amazing course in college, the history of the American South with Barbara Fields.

00:04:30.800 And I don't know what her politics were.

00:04:32.080 That was a nice thing about college back then.

00:04:33.680 You didn't know your politics of your professors.

00:04:35.960 But we learned a lot about those years leading up to the Civil War and how violent it was in this country.

00:04:40.360 And granted, we didn't have militias.

00:04:41.820 We didn't have full-on armies going up against each other.

00:04:43.980 And we're not there now.

00:04:46.300 And I sure hope we don't get there.

00:04:48.940 But you'd have to be blind not to see that we are in the midst of a second American Civil War right now.

00:04:55.140 And I don't like it.

00:04:56.980 Yes, I'm very angry at the left.

00:04:58.980 Yes, I'm very angry at the people who are attacking ICE.

00:05:01.700 I'm very angry at the people who are perpetuating illegal immigration, who have attacked President Trump.

00:05:06.580 I'm very angry at them. 0.93

00:05:07.580 But I don't want to kill them. 0.94

00:05:09.320 I really don't.

00:05:10.180 I'd like to see them arrested.

00:05:11.300 I'd like to see them punished.

00:05:12.440 But I'm not picking up a pitchfork. 0.99

00:05:14.920 I'm not picking up my shotgun in Nassau County and going and shooting a bunch of lefties. 0.88

00:05:19.180 I'm not doing that.

00:05:20.280 I hope we don't lead to that.

00:05:21.560 We get there.

00:05:22.980 And I'm sure that almost all of you listening right now, as angry as we are at some of these people, we don't want to go there.

00:05:28.620 Well, you know, again, it just feels like, however, that is getting a little close to that.

00:05:33.180 And that's not what I want to see.

00:05:35.400 Now, for those of you who think, oh, this is a little hyperbole.

00:05:37.660 We got a guest host, Jake Novak, in for Roger Stone tonight.

00:05:40.500 He's trying to grab some attention.

00:05:42.040 He's saying that we're in the middle of a second American Civil War.

00:05:44.180 He's trying to be hyperbolic.

00:05:45.880 Well, you know, I'm sorry, but I'm not the one who started the hyperbole.

00:05:50.460 I'm not the one who started the violent talk and the warlike talk.

00:05:56.080 Lots of people, especially from the left, started it.

00:05:59.060 And here's one of the people who did it just recently.

00:06:02.080 This is Larry Kramer, the DA of Philadelphia.

00:06:05.020 This is cut one.

00:06:05.800 And listen to his terminology, the way he talks about ICE.

00:06:08.680 Listen to this.

00:06:10.140 This is a small bunch of wannabe Nazis. 0.78

00:06:13.840 That's what they are.

00:06:15.520 In a country of 350 million, we outnumber them.

00:06:20.160 If we have to hunt you down the way they hunted down Nazis for decades, 0.59

00:06:27.480 we will find your identities.

00:06:30.640 We will find you.

00:06:32.180 We will achieve justice.

00:06:34.760 Larry, Larry, Larry, Larry Kramer.

00:06:37.180 First of all, Larry, members of my family were murdered by the real Nazis. 0.63

00:06:42.900 They were lined up and shot in a town called Mariam Pol, Lithuania.

00:06:46.420 So you make those comparisons with me and you're going down the wrong path.

00:06:50.480 You're not going to appreciate what I'm going to say about you if you do that again.

00:06:54.140 So don't you dare do that again.

00:06:55.380 But second of all, hunt you down?

00:06:58.840 Federal agents?

00:07:00.180 You don't like what ICE is doing?

00:07:01.520 Go vote for a different president.

00:07:04.080 Go vote for different federal officials who can change the rules and maybe open your borders again.

00:07:08.900 I don't approve of that.

00:07:10.000 I don't want you to do that.

00:07:11.260 But you're going to hunt these people down?

00:07:13.060 What the heck are you talking about?

00:07:14.760 This is what I mean when I say we're in the bleeding Kansas stage of the second American Civil War.

00:07:21.780 This is really, really, really bad.

00:07:25.580 Now, just in the last couple of hours, we've seen more of the nature of these combatants from the left.

00:07:32.140 And they're not protesters.

00:07:33.800 They're not even agitators. 0.98

00:07:35.740 They're terrorists. 0.99

00:07:37.200 They're urban terrorists. 1.00

00:07:38.360 They're domestic terrorists, whatever you want to call them. 0.86

00:07:40.380 And you know that over the weekend, we had one of them killed, Alex Preddy. 0.82

00:07:45.980 And the left tried to make this guy into an absolute martyr.

00:07:49.060 In fact, MSNBC didn't just make him into a martyr by changing his or balancing out or tilting his resume.

00:07:56.020 They literally photoshopped up his picture to make him more attractive looking.

00:08:00.740 It's like the opposite of what Time Magazine did with OJ.

00:08:03.160 Those of you a little bit older remember when OJ got arrested and they put him on the cover of Time Magazine.

00:08:07.860 And they literally darkened his skin and darkened the background.

00:08:11.760 It was a huge scandal, and rightfully so.

00:08:14.240 You know, I think OJ was guilty.

00:08:15.560 But, I mean, you got to darken his picture on the cover of Time Magazine.

00:08:18.120 Well, this is the opposite of that.

00:08:19.100 They were trying to make this guy look saintly and more friendly.

00:08:22.400 Well, just in the last couple of hours, new video of Alex Preddy spitting at federal officers while his gun is visible.

00:08:29.620 And this was on January 13th, so this was a couple of weeks, I guess, before he was killed.

00:08:33.900 And kicking out the taillight of one of the ICE vehicles, I mean, you can see this guy is totally unhinged.

00:08:40.320 You can see that he is a combatant in this second American Civil War.

00:08:44.080 He's the guy with the pitchfork coming after, coming after folks.

00:08:48.980 And there's a lot of people who should be embarrassed by these new revelations about Alex Preddy.

00:08:53.220 Not people like you and me.

00:08:54.160 I think most of you listening knew this guy was bad news and didn't fall for the sugarcoating of this guy.

00:09:00.360 But one of the people who not only fell for the sugarcoating of this guy, but promoted it quite aggressively, was one of the great geniuses of the American illiterate, not really, Anna Navarro. 0.79

00:09:11.400 Cut six.

00:09:11.980 Here's her take on Alex Preddy.

00:09:14.180 They chose to, they killed the wrong guy, right?

00:09:17.480 Because this is like the perfect guy.

00:09:20.740 Alex Preddy is the guy you would want to date your daughter.

00:09:23.220 The guy you would want your son to grow up to be, a decent human being who was serving humanity, serving sick veterans, who is, you know, there is nothing that has been said about that man that isn't wonderful.

00:09:37.700 And so they can't malign him.

00:09:41.640 They can't malign him because we have the videos.

00:09:43.840 You know, I have a lot of Latino friends, and obviously I have a lot of friends who are women. 1.00

00:09:50.040 Aren't you embarrassed by Anna Navarro? 0.99

00:09:51.800 I mean, there are so many very, very smart, even left-wing smart Latinas and women who they could be putting on TV instead of this moron. 0.99

00:10:01.500 I mean, really, this is incredible. 0.99

00:10:03.220 Why would you do that?

00:10:04.100 You don't know this guy from Adam, and you're talking about him in this way?

00:10:06.960 Are you kidding me?

00:10:08.620 And now we see this video.

00:10:09.860 Listen, I have two daughters.

00:10:11.360 I don't want my daughters dating a guy like that.

00:10:13.260 You kick out my taillight, there's going to be some bad things happening to you, whether you're dating my daughter or not, all right?

00:10:20.380 I mean, it's just outrageous.

00:10:22.620 And it's amazing how there's a balance here for all the praise that they give these people, whether it's Renee Good or Alex Preddy.

00:10:30.020 They balance it out with overly, just as false, just as false lies about our ICE agents.

00:10:37.260 And by the way, God bless these guys.

00:10:38.960 You know how many tens of thousands of encounters our ICE agents are having every single day?

00:10:43.780 And so far this year, we've got, what, four or five shootings, all of them completely justified?

00:10:49.100 Every police department in America would love to have that kind of ratio, have that percentage of encounters with violent people to actual shootings.

00:10:57.260 And these were absolutely justified shootings, every single one of them.

00:11:00.600 But nevertheless, they are demonized.

00:11:03.820 Now, you ever heard Larry Kramer earlier in the segment talk about, you know, call them Nazis, which is bad enough.

00:11:09.800 But here you have an even, I think, a more subtle, but also, but I think even more dangerous characterization of what these guys are doing, of ICE, from none other than New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani.

00:11:21.740 This is cut two.

00:11:22.420 Listen to him describe ICE's mission.

00:11:24.440 I want to know where you come down on abolishing ICE and if you believe that ICE has any legitimate law enforcement role.

00:11:30.960 You know, I am in support of abolishing ICE, and I'll tell you why.

00:11:34.120 Because what we've, what we see is an entity that has no interest in fulfilling its stated reason to exist.

00:11:46.020 We're seeing a government agency that is supposed to be enforcing some kind of immigration law, but instead what it's doing is terrorizing people, no matter their immigration status, no matter the facts of the law, no matter the facts of the case.

00:11:58.120 And I'm tired of waking up every day and seeing a new image of someone being dragged out of a car, dragged out of their home, dragged out of their life.

00:12:08.560 America is not terrorized by ICE.

00:12:10.360 The people who are terrorized by ICE are the illegal aliens who have also committed additional crimes, and they should be terrorized.

00:12:16.740 And you can say that, by the way, about every police officer in America.

00:12:19.460 They make you scared.

00:12:20.540 I remember as a kid, they spent a lot of time in kindergarten trying to tell us, don't be afraid of the police.

00:12:25.000 You know, as long as you're a good boy, you'll be okay.

00:12:26.960 I mean, this, to me, is even worse than calling them Nazis, because when you call them Nazis, we can all hear the hyperbole.

00:12:33.840 Here's this guy saying they're not doing anything.

00:12:36.540 They're not stopping illegal immigration.

00:12:38.880 They're not going after illegal aliens.

00:12:40.600 They're just scaring people. 0.66

00:12:42.220 I mean, which is even more ludicrous than calling them Nazis, really, in a lot of ways. 0.88

00:12:46.640 And very, very, very dangerous. 0.63

00:12:49.600 That's not the way it works.

00:12:51.540 And again, God bless these people in ICE.

00:12:53.140 You know, by the way, I think that they did a little bit of a random study, and either the plurality of ICE agents or the majority of them are Latinos.

00:13:02.040 So they know darn well.

00:13:03.480 And by the way, that helps.

00:13:04.300 That's helpful.

00:13:04.840 They speak Spanish, most of them, and that's very helpful.

00:13:07.680 So that's what they're dealing with.

00:13:09.560 And it's very, very important to push back on this kind of stuff.

00:13:13.280 I can't believe that elected leaders, I understand they lie and they grandstand and they do stuff like that, and, yeah, they call people Nazis, and that's not acceptable.

00:13:22.140 But what's really not acceptable is what Mayor Mamdani did, saying that they're not really doing it.

00:13:25.940 They're just there to scare people.

00:13:27.920 Really?

00:13:28.740 I mean, he doesn't even believe that.

00:13:30.060 It's such a – and then, of course, he said that on The View.

00:13:32.200 That was a soundbite from The View.

00:13:33.300 And, of course, they're all clapping like trained SEALs like they do on that program.

00:13:38.020 It's really scary right now, but this is similar.

00:13:41.060 This is why I call it the Second American Civil War because one of the major characteristics of war is propaganda, especially organized propaganda.

00:13:49.440 That started in World War I.

00:13:50.980 World War I was the first real propaganda war fought in the press, a little bit of the Spanish-American War, too, but you know what I'm talking about.

00:13:57.360 And the propaganda aspect of this war is in full swing.

00:14:00.040 All right, what I want to talk about, though, and one of the things – I've been in TV news and radio news and regular news for 32 years,

00:14:07.240 and one of the things I never like to do is ignore the elephant in the room, the really big story.

00:14:12.920 And if you live in about any one of 35 or so states in America right now, I know what your personal number one story was today,

00:14:20.060 and I'm going to talk about it when we come back.

00:14:22.300 Thanks for joining me.

00:14:22.960 I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone on The Stone Zone.

00:14:25.860 Really appreciate you joining me.

00:14:47.500 Every week, the Payne family cuts straight to the real financial story.

00:14:52.040 The one question, Bob, everyone's asking is, are we in an artificial intelligence bubble?

00:14:57.880 You've been through boom and busts.

00:14:59.860 What do you think?

00:15:00.640 No hype, no myths.

00:15:02.840 Just what actually matters to your money.

00:15:05.240 It does feel very similar to what we experienced in the 90s.

00:15:08.740 Where are we, though?

00:15:09.400 Are we in 1995, 1997, 1999?

00:15:12.520 Listen to The Payne Points of Wealth on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:15:17.120 This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.

00:15:36.040 Roger Stone was persecuted.

00:15:37.260 People forget he's actually a brilliant, brilliant political analyst.

00:15:40.140 Now, get in the zone. 0.94

00:15:42.160 It's The Stone Zone.

00:15:44.200 Here's Roger Stone.

00:15:47.580 And welcome, everybody.

00:16:04.960 Really important to get on these social media platforms,

00:16:08.160 not only for the latest news, but for a chance for us to hear what you think.

00:16:12.580 I've been in news for a long time,

00:16:14.180 and every time there's a new technology that allows people in news to actually hear from the audience,

00:16:19.940 whether it's viewers, listeners, readers,

00:16:22.620 the old-school bosses hated it because they don't want to hear from you.

00:16:27.020 And I always loved it.

00:16:28.080 So when email started, I was like, this is great.

00:16:29.800 We can actually hear from our viewers when I was doing local news.

00:16:32.720 And they were like, oh, no, we don't want to do that.

00:16:34.540 And same thing with social media.

00:16:35.840 So I do want to hear from you.

00:16:37.300 It doesn't mean I'm going to agree with everything you say, but that's important.

00:16:40.360 Hey, everybody.

00:16:41.320 Pop quiz.

00:16:42.240 And don't try to be smart with this.

00:16:44.020 This is not a trick question.

00:16:45.660 What is the number one story in America for most Americans,

00:16:49.180 not only right now tonight as I speak to you just before 8.30 Eastern time on the East Coast,

00:16:54.840 but really the last several days?

00:16:57.400 Come on.

00:16:58.660 What's the first thing you said to members of your family in the morning this morning

00:17:02.100 or people that you saw on the street?

00:17:04.440 Did you get the answer yet?

00:17:06.020 Okay, here's the answer.

00:17:07.060 It's freaking cold.

00:17:08.700 We have record-breaking temperatures in so many states in the United States.

00:17:12.640 This is not just a New York story.

00:17:14.240 It's not just a Texas story.

00:17:16.100 It's several states, as many as 35 at first, and now still many, many states.

00:17:22.180 And, you know, this is not my opportunity to tell the joke about,

00:17:25.400 well, everyone talks about the weather, but they don't do anything about it.

00:17:27.660 No, that's not what I'm doing here.

00:17:28.900 I'm trying to tell you this is a very important story.

00:17:31.240 This has political ramifications.

00:17:32.920 And here's a soundbite, again, from Mayor Mamdana here in New York that actually is about the weather, believe it or not.

00:17:39.580 Check it out.

00:17:39.940 This is cut three.

00:17:41.400 We are speaking about a fiscal crisis at the scale greater than the Great Recession.

00:17:45.960 And so there will not be one single thing that can answer that crisis.

00:17:49.680 It will require us to pursue every single avenue.

00:17:52.020 That means looking inward into savings and efficiencies.

00:17:55.980 That also means raising taxes on the wealthiest New Yorkers and the most profitable corporations.

00:18:00.960 Yeah, well, look, folks, no surprise, the communist mayor, Mamdana, didn't waste any time.

00:18:06.100 Day 28 in office, and he's talking about raising taxes.

00:18:09.020 Now, the reason why this is related to the weather, folks, is because whatever number they're throwing out right now,

00:18:14.360 $10 million to $12 billion of a deficit for New York City, it's going to be a lot more in just a few days.

00:18:20.240 The cost of heating these schools in the city, heating the buses, heating the government buildings alone,

00:18:26.980 let alone all the other costs that are going to come to the hospitals, for example, the city hospitals, is going to be massive.

00:18:32.460 And this is exactly why you don't spend money on stuff that doesn't help your citizenry and isn't important.

00:18:40.220 Instead of inviting millions of illegal aliens into your town and giving them money and housing them, 1.00

00:18:46.660 make sure that you've got enough money in the bank for when you get sub-32 degrees temperatures for 15, 16 days in a row.

00:18:53.720 I spent most of my life here in New York City, in the New York City area.

00:18:56.740 I'm 55 years old.

00:18:57.420 I grew up mostly in the South, but didn't come here until high school time.

00:19:01.440 So most of the last 55 years I've been here in New York City, I can tell you something right now.

00:19:05.200 I've never seen cold temperatures like this for so many consecutive days, and we're looking at like 10 more coming up.

00:19:11.400 So this is a big story, and it's a reason why the deficit's only going to get bigger

00:19:15.580 and why we should cut our spending and not raise the taxes.

00:19:18.960 All right, when we come back, another story, a big story you haven't heard.

00:19:22.020 This isn't like the cold that you knew, and you should have heard it.

00:19:24.640 We'll talk about that.

00:19:27.420 This is the Stone Zone.

00:19:45.480 Now, get in the zone. 0.94

00:19:47.400 It's the Stone Zone.

00:19:49.380 A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going, and he's smart, and he's strong, and people love him.

00:19:56.340 Not everybody, but people love him and respect him.

00:19:58.960 Roger Stone.

00:20:00.000 Where's Roger Stone?

00:20:01.400 Here's Roger Stone.

00:20:05.020 And I'm Jake Novak, in for Roger Stone this evening.

00:20:07.660 I've gone through hell, too, but that's because I'm a Jets fan.

00:20:10.500 We'll talk about that a little bit later.

00:20:12.320 So I really appreciate you guys taking me in this evening.

00:20:17.860 I'm able to fill in for Roger.

00:20:19.600 Thanks to the help of Phil and Krolis, who are on the other side of the glass.

00:20:23.020 Really, really kind of everyone to bring me in here on short notice and do the program for you tonight.

00:20:28.820 You know, something funny about me.

00:20:30.360 I grew up in a community where almost everyone's a liberal.

00:20:34.040 I went to a university and a grad school where almost everyone's a liberal.

00:20:37.880 And I've been working in an industry, the mainstream media, and then some of the niche media.

00:20:42.460 But I've been working in the media for many decades where almost everyone's a liberal, and I'm not.

00:20:46.700 So either I don't listen, or maybe I'm just like just an iconoclast or something like that.

00:20:53.660 That said, one of the things that really bothers me about the mainstream media is not just the liberalism,

00:21:00.700 but the fact that they don't seem to know how to do their job well from a business standpoint.

00:21:06.220 If you're listening to this tonight and you think, well, the biggest bias in the mainstream news media is liberalism.

00:21:10.980 Actually, it's not.

00:21:12.500 It's in the top three.

00:21:14.480 The number one bias is negativity.

00:21:15.960 I mean, I think that's been true since the first media, which I would say is the caveman drawings.

00:21:20.320 If it's scary, if it's dramatic, if it's divisive, that is the bias that the news media is going to go with all the time.

00:21:27.120 I mean, even when Barack Obama was president, they love Barack Obama.

00:21:30.120 If you turned on MSNBC every night when Barack Obama was president, you weren't happy.

00:21:34.320 They weren't presenting a Shangri-La vision of America by any stretch.

00:21:37.740 It was pretty scary every night.

00:21:39.340 So that's the number one bias.

00:21:40.520 The other one is geographical bias.

00:21:42.000 You know, I've lived in New York for most of my life, but I am able – I'm detached enough to see that if stories affect this city,

00:21:50.200 somehow it becomes a national story much more than if it's another city.

00:21:53.600 So if you have, God forbid, 200 people die in a fire in Idaho and 10 people die in a fire here in New York City,

00:21:59.740 it's likely to be a national story of the New York City fire.

00:22:02.280 It's just the way it is.

00:22:03.060 Those of you in the business know what I'm talking about.

00:22:04.620 I've been paying attention.

00:22:05.160 So that's another bias.

00:22:06.940 And those two are actually bigger and more common.

00:22:09.100 I don't say they're worse, but they're more common and more noticeable than that bias for politics.

00:22:14.900 So this next story that I really think is a huge story, and not because I think that you guys should care about internal Chinese politics,

00:22:22.720 but just because how can this not be a major story on the mainstream media as I describe it to you,

00:22:28.480 and everything I'm about to tell you is an established fact.

00:22:30.520 The number two man in China behind President Xi Jinping, he's a general.

00:22:37.600 His name is General Zhang Yishou, has been purged.

00:22:42.360 And more than just purged, he's not only out of a job,

00:22:44.740 they are accusing him of leaking nuclear secrets to the United States.

00:22:48.200 Are you kidding me?

00:22:49.900 Is that not a big story or what?

00:22:51.360 I don't care how much, I don't care if you can't find China on a map.

00:22:53.960 And by the way, a lot of the people in the mainstream news media newsrooms I've worked in over the years

00:22:57.480 cannot find China on a map.

00:22:59.040 But I don't care about that.

00:23:00.900 It doesn't matter.

00:23:02.020 That is a huge story.

00:23:03.160 This is the number two economy in the world, the number two military power in the world,

00:23:07.280 a very scary nation which I believe is really the most evil nation in the world by far.

00:23:12.020 And it has its hands in every evil pot there is.

00:23:14.940 And there's some kind of purge going on there.

00:23:16.680 Now, all that is absolutely confirmed, what I just said before that, not any doubt about what I just said.

00:23:25.080 The second part is in doubt, whether or not there's some kind of pushback over this purge.

00:23:29.580 Are there members of the rank-and-file Chinese military who are in some form of revolt over this?

00:23:34.720 That is not confirmed.

00:23:35.920 I'm not seeing a huge amount of evidence of that, but there does seem to be something funny going on.

00:23:39.880 All of that is stuff that we hopefully will find out in the coming days.

00:23:42.940 But this is a huge story, and it's yet again indicative of how the mainstream media forget about their political bias, which is horrible and annoying.

00:23:51.220 But what about the fact that they don't seem to want to make money?

00:23:54.060 Don't you want to have the people who would click on a story like that?

00:23:56.340 Who isn't going to click on a story, top general in China, number two guy in the whole country, accused of leaking nuclear secrets to the U.S.?

00:24:04.480 That's a sexy headline.

00:24:06.360 A fifth grader who's doing a journalism project could write that up in a way that you would want to hear about it, let alone someone who's supposed to be a professional.

00:24:13.080 And it's not being covered.

00:24:14.160 I haven't seen it anywhere in the mainstream news media.

00:24:16.320 I haven't seen it so much in the conservative news media either, by the way.

00:24:20.480 Hello, you guys out there who think you're so much better.

00:24:24.260 You're not.

00:24:25.480 It's a huge story.

00:24:26.700 And again, not because we care so much who's in and who's out in the Chinese government.

00:24:31.380 I don't expect people to care about that.

00:24:33.020 I mean, I think that we should, but I don't expect that.

00:24:35.420 I understand my audience.

00:24:36.540 I understand the audience in this country.

00:24:38.400 But it doesn't matter.

00:24:40.200 It's a huge, huge story.

00:24:41.200 And it's just another example of something that I talk about a lot that hopefully will help all of you understand one of the key natures of the mainstream media.

00:24:49.320 And that is they aren't really after making money that much.

00:24:52.900 If they make money, great.

00:24:54.320 But they have another agenda.

00:24:56.100 And when you take a look at the corporate-owned mainstream media, whether we're talking about a CNN or any of the three-letter broadcast networks, ABC, NBC, CBS, or MSNOW, even though they've spun it off to another company, and even ESPN.

00:25:09.120 I believe all, and I believe this for a long time.

00:25:12.420 And remember, I worked at some of these places.

00:25:14.100 I believe that all these places are basically lost leaders.

00:25:17.220 They're lobbyist arms.

00:25:18.720 Because if you're talking about CNN, CNN isn't owned by CNN.

00:25:21.520 They're owned by Warner Brothers.

00:25:22.660 And they have a lot of properties that actually do make money for the corporate owners that are very, very susceptible to regulatory scrutiny.

00:25:30.020 So you create a CNN.

00:25:31.440 You nod and you wink to the Democrats or the swamp in D.C. and say, hey, we'll parrot your messaging.

00:25:36.560 We'll put your guys on the air.

00:25:38.040 We'll put Nancy Pelosi on the air anytime you want.

00:25:40.600 And then maybe the next time you take a look at our property rights at some of our theme parks or our streaming rights, you won't bother us.

00:25:47.280 Comcast, which owns all the NBC properties, you know what they make their money on?

00:25:51.100 They don't make it on MSNOW, and they don't make it on NBC Nightly News.

00:25:54.220 They make their money on broadband cable, broadband internet.

00:25:58.280 And you better believe broadband internet is something where people in Washington could snap their fingers in a second and put that out of business.

00:26:03.660 And I really believe that this is all about lobbying.

00:26:06.400 And it has to do with China as well.

00:26:09.740 You will be very hard pressed to find in mainstream media any story that depicts China in any kind of a negative light.

00:26:16.780 And this isn't even such a negative story about China necessarily.

00:26:19.860 It's just an intriguing story, but it doesn't make it look like a stable country.

00:26:22.460 So they're not going to cover it.

00:26:23.440 And, boy, have we come a long way, just in the last 25 years or so.

00:26:27.720 I remember the day that China was awarded the 2008 Olympics.

00:26:31.240 I was at CNN.

00:26:32.380 I was working with a guy named Jack Cafferty.

00:26:34.020 Those of you from New York know this guy's name very well.

00:26:36.320 And even if you're not, you remember he was on the national CNN broadcast for years as well.

00:26:41.140 And we got the message.

00:26:42.380 We got the wire that said that China's been awarded the 2008 Summer Games.

00:26:46.120 And Jack went off.

00:26:47.440 He's like, oh, my God, China, this is a repressive country.

00:26:49.680 They do horrible things to their own people.

00:26:51.260 How can the International Olympic Committee give them the Olympics and on and on and on?

00:26:56.480 And we did get a little bit of pushback.

00:26:58.660 We got a call from the Chinese consulate in New York, and they were complained about it.

00:27:01.960 Well, let me tell you something.

00:27:02.760 If somebody did that today on the air, they would be getting a lot more than a call from the Chinese consulate.

00:27:07.780 They'd be off the air for a long time.

00:27:10.220 The bowing down to China because of their investments in these companies and the fact that these major owners,

00:27:16.540 the corporate owners, the big-time corporate owners, are so reliant,

00:27:19.660 but they think they are, they're actually going to end up losing money in China in the end like they always do.

00:27:23.460 Gordon Chang, who's a regular guest on this channel, talks about it a lot.

00:27:27.080 So don't just take my word.

00:27:28.360 Don't just take Jake Novak's word for it.

00:27:30.400 But nevertheless, they have a lot of money invested in there,

00:27:32.740 and they're just not going to do anything negative about China.

00:27:35.840 And to me, this is just maddening to me.

00:27:37.680 You know, I really would like to see these corporate entities realize that the days of using these channels as lobbyist arms

00:27:44.100 to protect their money-making entities are over.

00:27:47.840 Trump's in charge now.

00:27:49.220 Better to put out a product that people actually want to watch.

00:27:52.380 And if you're putting on TV just the same story all the time, and obviously the Minneapolis,

00:27:55.540 I mean, I led with the Minneapolis story tonight.

00:27:57.520 Basically, I know it's a big story.

00:27:59.600 But take a look at the story counts at some of these places.

00:28:02.360 When I got out of journalism school and grad school and started doing local news, let alone national news,

00:28:06.660 they used to pound it into our heads.

00:28:08.080 22, 25 stories per half hour.

00:28:10.080 Go, go, go.

00:28:11.100 They do like two or three stories per hour now on these channels,

00:28:14.160 and that includes the Foxes and the other.

00:28:16.260 They all do it.

00:28:17.940 They're not really trying to get your attention as much as they should be.

00:28:21.100 They're acting as some kind of lobbyist arm.

00:28:23.420 It's outrageous.

00:28:24.740 This is a hot story that people should pay attention to,

00:28:26.740 even if you can't find China on the map.

00:28:28.980 Now, another hot story that should be getting more attention,

00:28:32.900 and maybe it's because people are a little bit tired of it

00:28:35.060 because we heard so much about it at the beginning of the month,

00:28:37.380 but what's going on in Iran right now looks like it's percolating again.

00:28:40.600 We're starting to see videos of large-scale protests again

00:28:43.960 that look like they're pretty current.

00:28:45.160 So the people haven't given up despite all these confirmed reports

00:28:48.200 of at least 20,000, 30,000, maybe 40,000 people dead.

00:28:52.400 And President Trump isn't happy about this,

00:28:54.960 and here's what he is now threatening Iran with.

00:28:57.320 Listen to this.

00:28:58.260 This is cut four.

00:29:01.520 And just, and by the way, there's another beautiful armada

00:29:05.140 floating beautifully toward Iran right now.

00:29:09.040 So we'll see.

00:29:11.700 I hope they make a deal.

00:29:13.640 Yeah, he's saying they better make a deal now

00:29:16.900 or they will suffer consequences much worse

00:29:20.220 than the taking out of their nuclear facilities

00:29:22.460 that we saw last summer in June.

00:29:24.760 And simply from a mathematical standpoint

00:29:27.240 and a military standpoint,

00:29:28.620 he's got a lot to back him up on that statement

00:29:31.100 because as I speak to you right now, folks,

00:29:34.280 we have a lot more military assets

00:29:36.600 within striking distance of Iran

00:29:38.060 than we did in June of 2025,

00:29:40.440 just six and a half months ago, seven months ago.

00:29:42.560 That's just a fact.

00:29:45.240 And he, again, this is a big story,

00:29:49.120 incredible courage of the people in Iran,

00:29:51.440 but, you know, maybe they've reached the point

00:29:52.800 where they realize they had all these protests

00:29:55.760 where there were hundreds of thousands of people

00:29:57.080 in the streets, as terrible as maybe 40 or 50,

00:29:59.300 whatever the number is, of people dead,

00:30:01.240 40,000 or something like that dead.

00:30:03.860 Thankfully, that's still a small fraction

00:30:05.700 of the people who were out in the streets before,

00:30:07.180 and maybe they've decided

00:30:08.060 we can outnumber all of these people,

00:30:10.840 and somehow maybe they've come up

00:30:12.540 with some new tactics.

00:30:13.800 These people are very, very courageous.

00:30:15.460 Now, I'm not saying we should go

00:30:17.940 and invade these people.

00:30:18.940 I'm not even saying that we should attack them,

00:30:20.420 even though, you know,

00:30:21.040 President Trump's talking about that armada

00:30:22.480 and all those assets.

00:30:23.420 That's not what I'm saying here.

00:30:24.460 What I'm saying here is this is something

00:30:26.480 the American people should know about.

00:30:27.940 One of my pet peeves is, you know,

00:30:29.620 there's a lot of people in the United States

00:30:31.240 who have family in the armed services,

00:30:34.620 and in the major media centers in this country,

00:30:37.960 in the big newsrooms, you'd never know it.

00:30:41.060 I remember there was a day during the Gulf War.

00:30:42.980 It was probably 2004, 2005,

00:30:44.720 and it was a very nice day,

00:30:46.620 and I happened to have been walking

00:30:47.540 all around Manhattan,

00:30:49.120 just doing errands and things like that.

00:30:50.880 And it occurred to me,

00:30:52.180 I'd been walking on the streets of Manhattan

00:30:53.560 for about three hours,

00:30:54.920 and you'd never know we were in a full-on war

00:30:57.520 in the Persian Gulf at that moment,

00:30:59.080 until I walked into the post office,

00:31:02.100 and there was a little box,

00:31:03.300 donate your used cell phone for our troops.

00:31:04.980 Now, again, it doesn't mean

00:31:06.980 you have to support military action.

00:31:08.780 It doesn't mean you have to wave the flag

00:31:10.180 every time for the troops,

00:31:11.080 but at least be aware

00:31:12.220 that armada that President Trump

00:31:14.720 just talked about,

00:31:16.240 that's not just machinery and jets

00:31:18.580 and missiles and lifeless.

00:31:19.660 Those are human beings, folks.

00:31:21.900 Those are our sons and daughters.

00:31:23.640 Those are our sisters. 0.88

00:31:24.500 Those are our aunts and uncles

00:31:26.180 who are in harm's way right now.

00:31:29.100 And the mainstream news media

00:31:30.520 won't put that front and center.

00:31:31.980 What are they doing?

00:31:32.880 It's a clickable story.

00:31:35.900 It's an eyeball-gathering, 0.92

00:31:37.140 attracting story.

00:31:38.340 Why won't you cover it?

00:31:40.060 Now, I think you should cover it

00:31:41.020 for other reasons,

00:31:41.660 just like I think you should cover

00:31:42.440 the China story.

00:31:43.040 I think it's interesting.

00:31:43.800 I think it's a great way

00:31:44.580 to get people interested in geopolitics,

00:31:46.500 but I'm not naive.

00:31:47.720 I know that people don't want

00:31:48.520 to have a college class

00:31:49.420 when they turn on their radio and TV,

00:31:50.960 even if it's news.

00:31:52.100 If that were the case,

00:31:53.160 then when public television in Maryland

00:31:54.840 started in the 1950s

00:31:55.960 and they just filmed

00:31:56.880 University of Maryland classes,

00:31:58.300 that would still be

00:31:58.900 the number one TV show in America.

00:32:00.580 Nobody wanted to watch that.

00:32:01.700 And it was good stuff.

00:32:02.960 It's like free college.

00:32:04.220 Okay?

00:32:04.500 So I get it.

00:32:05.460 I get it.

00:32:06.620 But if you can't,

00:32:08.100 honestly,

00:32:08.680 no, honestly,

00:32:09.020 I don't think you should lie,

00:32:09.820 but if you can't sex that up

00:32:10.960 and let the people understand

00:32:11.900 why that's important,

00:32:12.940 then you shouldn't be

00:32:13.600 in this business.

00:32:14.900 But apparently you are,

00:32:16.860 which just drives me nuts.

00:32:19.360 It just drives me nuts.

00:32:20.680 On the other hand,

00:32:22.040 we do have incidents that happen

00:32:23.400 that everyone does cover

00:32:24.580 because they gather attention.

00:32:25.960 And our friend,

00:32:27.920 Congresswoman Ilhan Omar,

00:32:29.600 provided that for us last night

00:32:31.440 in what seemed like a staged event.

00:32:33.620 This was this audio

00:32:34.440 when she was supposedly attacked

00:32:36.180 during a town hall.

00:32:37.160 Listen to this.

00:32:37.760 You must resign

00:32:39.080 or face impeachment.

00:32:40.700 So that was just the audio.

00:32:49.240 You've probably seen the video

00:32:50.360 where somebody stands up,

00:32:51.560 sprays her with something.

00:32:53.320 Boy, did it look staged.

00:32:54.680 I'm sure a lot of the hosts here

00:32:56.120 on not only this channel,

00:32:58.540 but many others that me

00:32:59.380 may have checked out

00:33:00.040 have all told you

00:33:01.860 why this seemed very staged.

00:33:03.160 Not the least of which

00:33:03.740 that the guy had a bottle of water

00:33:05.160 they was drinking

00:33:05.720 sitting in the front row.

00:33:06.700 And everyone else

00:33:07.300 who came into that room

00:33:08.220 had to basically

00:33:09.920 let their water bottles

00:33:11.060 be confiscated

00:33:11.780 and throw them out for security.

00:33:13.320 It seemed very staged.

00:33:14.660 She didn't duck.

00:33:15.460 She seemed to be

00:33:15.960 really prepared for it

00:33:17.020 on and on down the line.

00:33:18.420 And for the people who say

00:33:19.120 like it doesn't matter

00:33:19.840 whether it's staged or not,

00:33:20.880 the whole thing is just so annoying.

00:33:22.080 I agree with you 100%.

00:33:23.380 But this is where we are

00:33:25.960 in America right now

00:33:27.240 with our news coverage

00:33:28.140 and with our political discourse.

00:33:29.520 We are in the midst

00:33:30.940 of the second American Civil War

00:33:32.480 and all we're seeing

00:33:33.460 is video of

00:33:35.100 and the fixing up

00:33:37.100 of someone's picture

00:33:38.040 to try to make a martyr

00:33:39.600 out of someone 0.52

00:33:40.180 who's a professional terrorist

00:33:41.540 like this Alex Freddie.

00:33:44.100 And we have so many

00:33:45.940 of our sons and daughters

00:33:46.880 in harm's way

00:33:47.680 in the Middle East right now

00:33:49.720 and we're more interested

00:33:50.780 in dissecting

00:33:52.740 every little thing

00:33:53.220 about Ilhan Omar.

00:33:54.220 Absolutely cover that.

00:33:55.360 I just did.

00:33:56.480 So I'm not trying 0.84

00:33:56.940 to be a hypocrite here. 0.66

00:33:58.020 Absolutely cover that story. 0.98

00:33:59.360 It's a story.

00:34:00.840 But it's not my lead story

00:34:02.180 and it's not going to be my big

00:34:03.860 hey let's take the pulse

00:34:04.920 of America right now.

00:34:05.820 Stop giving these kinds

00:34:06.680 of people oxygen

00:34:07.440 and don't forget

00:34:08.220 the big stories out there.

00:34:10.200 You know these aren't like

00:34:11.680 stories about kitties

00:34:12.820 getting saved from a tree.

00:34:14.060 You know you hear this

00:34:14.960 all the time.

00:34:15.860 Well the news media

00:34:16.840 can't cover good news

00:34:17.900 doesn't cover good news anymore

00:34:19.280 and a lot of people say

00:34:19.920 what are we supposed to do?

00:34:21.200 Cover every plane

00:34:22.060 that lands safely

00:34:22.860 at Dulles International Airport

00:34:24.260 and JFK?

00:34:24.920 That would be a little bit boring.

00:34:27.000 Granted I have some ideas

00:34:28.960 about how to cover

00:34:29.540 good news stories

00:34:30.240 and one of the ways

00:34:30.760 to do that is to remind people

00:34:31.980 how bad it was

00:34:32.960 before this good thing happened.

00:34:34.080 So instead of leading with

00:34:35.560 hey they figured out

00:34:36.720 how to desalinate the water

00:34:37.960 throughout the whole world

00:34:38.720 and we're not going to die

00:34:39.540 you start with the

00:34:40.780 you know they said

00:34:41.840 we were going to die

00:34:42.480 and you do that for 10 minutes

00:34:43.780 you get everyone really scared

00:34:44.900 and then you deliver

00:34:46.580 the good news.

00:34:47.840 But in this case

00:34:48.940 this isn't about

00:34:49.940 a good news story

00:34:51.000 it's just

00:34:51.420 it's something that affects

00:34:52.620 so many of us

00:34:53.300 in ways that are so

00:34:54.420 so emotional

00:34:55.580 and they won't cover it.

00:34:57.940 Elon Omar getting sprayed

00:34:59.180 whether it was staged

00:35:00.300 you're not

00:35:00.680 affects no one.

00:35:03.180 Not even her

00:35:03.900 because the thing

00:35:04.460 I think the thing was staged

00:35:05.560 it affects no one.

00:35:07.000 So absolutely cover it

00:35:07.920 I understand it's dramatic video

00:35:08.920 I'm not saying you don't do it

00:35:09.980 but give it

00:35:11.040 the few seconds it deserves

00:35:12.500 and move on.

00:35:14.320 And they just won't do it.

00:35:16.340 They just won't do it

00:35:17.340 and it's driving me crazy

00:35:18.520 I hope

00:35:18.840 I think it drives 0.97

00:35:19.440 a lot of you crazy as well

00:35:20.640 it's really not where 0.76

00:35:22.400 we want to be

00:35:23.020 right now in America

00:35:23.920 we really want to give

00:35:25.060 our sons and daughters

00:35:27.020 who are in harm's way

00:35:27.980 who are in the military

00:35:29.340 much more of attention.

00:35:30.980 We want to focus on

00:35:31.920 yeah what's going on in China

00:35:33.100 China is our enemy 1.00

00:35:34.400 and the guy who's running

00:35:35.900 the military there

00:35:36.720 may or may not have

00:35:37.820 leaked nuclear secrets

00:35:38.840 to the United States

00:35:39.360 if he has

00:35:40.140 I think that's a good news story

00:35:42.060 maybe there's one

00:35:42.760 righteous man in Sodom 0.91

00:35:43.780 I don't know

00:35:44.440 but that's worth discussing

00:35:47.040 put the guys on the air

00:35:48.220 who talk about it

00:35:48.960 Gordon Chang should be

00:35:49.860 getting booked

00:35:50.340 on CBS

00:35:51.300 and all those channels

00:35:52.400 but they won't put them on

00:35:53.580 because they literally

00:35:55.880 won't do anything

00:35:56.980 that makes China look 0.89

00:35:57.940 shaky

00:35:59.100 so they won't cover it

00:36:01.220 what a strange world we are

00:36:03.580 again

00:36:04.120 you've heard that term

00:36:06.140 you don't hate the news media enough

00:36:07.500 I get it

00:36:08.060 but it's not just because

00:36:09.420 of the partisanship

00:36:10.060 it's because they don't

00:36:11.160 do their business well

00:36:12.360 I hate seeing poor businesses

00:36:14.220 whether it's the sandwich shop

00:36:15.380 or the bagel shop

00:36:16.000 behind my house

00:36:16.680 or whether it's the

00:36:17.620 mainstream news media

00:36:18.300 I like to see businesses excel

00:36:19.820 alright when I come back

00:36:21.340 I'll talk to you about

00:36:21.880 another reason why

00:36:22.700 you don't hate the news media enough

00:36:24.100 and it's coming from

00:36:24.940 the sports world

00:36:25.700 but believe it or not

00:36:26.480 it has political undertones as well

00:36:28.320 I'm Jake Novak

00:36:29.220 filling in for Roger Stone

00:36:30.220 thank you so much

00:36:31.400 we will be right back

00:36:32.380 this is the Stone Zone

00:36:34.700 with Roger Stone

00:36:36.280 and he's a great great person

00:36:38.040 Roger Stone

00:36:39.440 the Stone Zone

00:36:42.020 this is the Stone Zone

00:37:06.360 with Roger Stone

00:37:07.960 Roger Stone

00:37:08.860 who's a very very

00:37:09.880 one of the smartest

00:37:10.520 political minds

00:37:11.420 Roger Stone was persecuted

00:37:13.060 people forget he's actually

00:37:14.240 a brilliant brilliant

00:37:15.260 political analyst

00:37:16.200 now get him a zone

00:37:17.880 it's the Stone Zone

00:37:19.760 here's Roger Stone

00:37:21.760 and I'm Jake Novak

00:37:24.060 in for Roger Stone

00:37:25.060 this evening here on

00:37:25.840 77 WABC radio

00:37:27.480 serendipity everybody

00:37:29.340 serendipity

00:37:30.000 I am about to talk about

00:37:31.560 the arrogance of people

00:37:32.700 in the news media

00:37:33.460 and so I'm going to do

00:37:34.900 something very not arrogant

00:37:35.960 admit I made a mistake

00:37:37.180 I called the Philadelphia

00:37:38.660 district attorney Larry Kramer

00:37:40.120 it's Larry Krasner

00:37:41.160 sorry about that

00:37:42.680 and by the way

00:37:43.700 it was an astute listener

00:37:44.660 who tweeted that at me

00:37:46.460 and he's absolutely right

00:37:47.420 I don't know why I said Kramer

00:37:48.300 I know it's Krasner

00:37:49.000 but I got it wrong

00:37:49.840 so there you go

00:37:51.520 you don't hate the news media enough

00:37:54.340 and not because they're so liberal

00:37:55.680 and by that I mean

00:37:56.880 the mainstream news media

00:37:57.740 they're not because they're so liberal

00:37:59.280 and so negative all the time 1.00

00:38:01.140 but because they're so freaking arrogant 0.97

00:38:03.520 and if you think it's just about 0.98

00:38:05.040 their political reporting

00:38:06.180 that they have an arrogance in Washington

00:38:07.820 they have an arrogance about MAGA people

00:38:09.720 they have an

00:38:10.020 it's not

00:38:11.080 it's about everything

00:38:12.060 and we found out that

00:38:14.280 in really cold

00:38:15.200 in a cold hard way

00:38:16.360 just in the last 24 hours

00:38:17.920 when the sports writers in America

00:38:20.200 who choose

00:38:20.820 who go into the

00:38:21.620 who goes into the NFL Hall of Fame

00:38:23.260 ridiculously

00:38:24.440 outrageously

00:38:25.980 did not vote Bill Belichick

00:38:28.040 into the Hall of Fame

00:38:29.760 on the first ballot

00:38:30.640 which is just an outrageous 1.00

00:38:31.800 and stupid 1.00

00:38:32.960 and yes arrogant thing 1.00

00:38:34.760 now for those of you

00:38:35.920 who think they didn't vote him in

00:38:37.020 because of the spy gate controversy

00:38:38.720 remember

00:38:39.060 they caught some hidden cameras

00:38:41.000 at other teams practices

00:38:41.980 or the deflate gate controversy

00:38:44.220 where they were deflating

00:38:45.140 some of the footballs

00:38:45.880 so Brady could grab them

00:38:47.520 Tom Brady could grab them better

00:38:48.860 baloney

00:38:49.600 that's not what it is

00:38:50.780 it's because of the way

00:38:53.180 Bill Belichick treated the news media

00:38:54.660 he was arrogant with them

00:38:55.880 he was short with them 0.97

00:38:57.220 he was kind of rude

00:38:58.740 here's what I say to that

00:39:00.340 so what

00:39:01.280 he won

00:39:02.840 six Super Bowls

00:39:04.560 as a head coach

00:39:05.620 he went to

00:39:06.140 many others

00:39:07.280 he won another two

00:39:08.520 as a defensive coordinator

00:39:09.540 for the Giants

00:39:10.200 and I'm not a Patriots fan

00:39:11.560 and I'm not even a Giants fan

00:39:13.500 but there's absolutely

00:39:15.440 no reason

00:39:16.120 other than committing

00:39:16.860 a massive number of felonies

00:39:18.400 that you wouldn't vote

00:39:19.320 for this guy

00:39:20.020 to be in the Hall of Fame

00:39:21.980 and why didn't they do it

00:39:23.040 because these sports writers

00:39:24.040 didn't like the way

00:39:25.020 he treated them

00:39:26.020 because they're so important

00:39:27.980 and that's the sports writers

00:39:29.260 who actually do know

00:39:30.640 their topic a lot better

00:39:31.600 than I think the political writers

00:39:32.800 in the news media

00:39:33.580 but still

00:39:34.280 that kind of arrogance

00:39:35.700 is present in America's

00:39:37.640 mainstream newsrooms

00:39:38.520 and that is something

00:39:39.660 you need to understand

00:39:40.740 if you're going to understand

00:39:42.080 their other biases

00:39:42.940 it's outrageous

00:39:44.420 this is all about

00:39:45.500 personal self-importance

00:39:47.640 and you know

00:39:48.940 I gotta tell you something

00:39:49.960 I don't really like

00:39:50.720 Bill Belichick either

00:39:51.400 but it would be

00:39:51.860 no doubter in my mind

00:39:53.220 if I were voting

00:39:53.800 of course he deserves

00:39:54.880 to be in the Hall of Fame

00:39:55.840 and it's because of

00:39:57.740 mainstream news media

00:39:59.500 reporter

00:40:00.080 and on air people

00:40:01.320 and writer arrogance

00:40:02.560 and they are really

00:40:03.780 really robbing

00:40:04.440 the American people

00:40:05.200 of important news

00:40:06.200 and perspective

00:40:06.880 because of it

00:40:07.460 I'm Jake Novak

00:40:08.440 I was happy to fill in

00:40:09.540 for you today

00:40:09.960 thank you so much

00:40:10.980 have a great evening

00:40:11.720 and stay warm

00:40:12.280 every week

00:40:17.100 the Payne family

00:40:18.120 cuts straight

00:40:18.800 to the real financial story

00:40:20.580 the one question Bob

00:40:21.760 everyone's asking

00:40:22.840 is are we in

00:40:24.380 an artificial intelligence bubble

00:40:26.040 you've been through

00:40:27.140 boom and bust

00:40:27.940 what do you think

00:40:28.960 no hype

00:40:29.800 no myths

00:40:30.880 just what actually

00:40:32.260 matters to your money

00:40:33.580 does feel

00:40:34.480 very similar

00:40:35.340 to what we experienced

00:40:36.580 in the 90s

00:40:37.220 where are we though

00:40:37.920 are we in 1995

00:40:38.940 1997

00:40:40.100 1999

00:40:41.060 listen to the

00:40:42.260 Payne Points of Wealth
