The StoneZONE with Roger Stone - The Stone Zone ｜ 03-04-25

00:00:00.000 this is the stone zone with roger stone people love him and respect him roger stone now get

00:00:17.400 in the zone it's the stone zone here's roger stone you are entering the stone zone and we're

00:00:26.700 here to talk politics so let's jump right into it attorney general pam bondy the former attorney 0.96

00:00:32.960 general of florida has been roundly criticized for pledging to release all of the jeffrey epstein

00:00:39.040 records uh in producing significant information but not producing all of the information we now

00:00:46.880 know that attorney general pam bondy who i think is being greatly underestimated by some was misled

00:00:53.860 and essentially lied to by uh the new york office of the fbi the gateway pundit reporting now uh that

00:01:02.880 there's been a significant shakeup within the fbi as one of his top officials was forced out nbc news

00:01:09.620 reported monday that james dennehy the head of the fbi's new york office threw in the towel just days

00:01:16.500 after his office was revealed to have been hiding thousands of epstein documents so uh it is clear

00:01:23.760 that bondy was lied to both by the fbi's new york office but i think we're going to learn the southern

00:01:30.460 district of new york prosecutors who are continuing to cover up for epstein probably because of his deep

00:01:36.240 relationship with the clintons i am actually the first author in the country to write extensively

00:01:43.520 extensively about jeffrey epstein in my 2015 book the clintons war on women chapter 7 orgy island i

00:01:53.040 think it was sean hannity came up with that title uh since that time of course there has been an attempt

00:01:59.280 to link donald trump to epstein this is misdirection folk donald trump never went to uh epstein's island

00:02:07.580 uh never uh partied with him the one and only time that donald trump was on epstein's plane the lolita

00:02:15.620 express was a flight from new york to palm beach on a friday uh returning from palm beach to new york on

00:02:23.480 a sunday night and marla maples and then his wife marla maples trump and their daughter tiffany were on

00:02:31.260 the flight as well this was a weekend in which donald trump's plane was in the shop uh this whole saga

00:02:39.660 began uh when i should also say that trump bars epstein from marlago after epstein makes an improper

00:02:48.720 advance to one of the women working in the spa this is prior to his being charged of a sex crime in

00:02:55.160 florida he breaks entirely with epstein the clintons will continue to associate take camp

00:03:01.200 contributions and take the seed funding for the clinton foundation and the clinton global initiative

00:03:08.540 from epstein after he has been charged and convicted and served time in the uh in the florida case this

00:03:18.520 entire saga began when a school girl in palm beach came home with five hundred dollars in her lunchbox and

00:03:25.860 when her parents asked her where she got it she said she got it from the man who lives in the big

00:03:31.080 house uh and that led to a police investigation a six-month undercover investigation by the palm beach

00:03:38.480 city police under the leadership of chief michael rider rider would turn over to the state's attorney

00:03:46.880 a man named barry kushner uh a uh an overwhelming case for statutory rape child sex trafficking child

00:03:57.000 abuse uh and other crimes that should have landed epstein in prison for life uh chief rider was

00:04:06.200 shocked when the state's attorney after receiving all of this information uh charged epstein with one

00:04:13.620 count of solicitation that's like walking into a bar and trying to pick up pick up a hooker 0.96

00:04:19.640 uh when the chief objected to the slap on the risk charges uh the prosecutor mr kushner

00:04:28.340 upgraded the charges to solicitation of a minor still a serious charge but not compared to child sex

00:04:35.660 trafficking uh epstein would get an incredibly light sentence he gets a i think 18 month sentence of

00:04:43.740 which he spends 15 months uh in jail he is however the only uh person convicted of a sex crime in the

00:04:52.540 history of florida not to serve his sentence in a state prison but gets to serve his sentence in the

00:04:58.560 private wing of the palm beach county stockade which is air conditioned uh he also has extensive

00:05:04.520 work release privileges which allow him to leave the jail for up to 12 hours a day six days a week

00:05:10.380 he ultimately would only serve 13 months of the sentence before being released the police chief

00:05:17.580 mr writer then went to the u.s attorney uh for uh south florida alexander acosta complaining that in

00:05:27.100 his opinion kushner the prosecutor had either been threatened or bribed the sweetheart deal negotiated

00:05:34.680 uh with uh mr kushner on behalf of palm beach county uh included the legal dream team retained by

00:05:43.380 jeffrey epstein that was leon black alan dershowitz and gerald lefcourt they successfully got mr epstein a

00:05:53.260 slap on the wrist now it is important to note that the clintons continued to uh socialize with jeffrey

00:06:03.380 epstein take campaign contributions for jeffrey epstein uh and to uh also as i said take the seed

00:06:12.100 funding for their two foundations prosecutor acosta the federal prosecutor after the complaints of the

00:06:20.320 police chief conducted his own investigation then rubber stamped the slap on the wrist by state

00:06:27.380 prosecutors and he sealed the case and the case remained sealed for at least 10 years but the palm beach

00:06:36.260 times the local newspaper fought in federal court to ultimately unseal those records they became unsealed

00:06:46.340 which caused a flurry of mainstream media coverage acosta strangely enough would go on to be appointed

00:06:53.940 secretary of labor by president donald trump in his first term uh it is very clear based on my own

00:07:04.020 research that president trump was unaware of mr acosta's role in the epstein case but knew him as a

00:07:10.500 generally well-regarded u.s attorney for south florida which is miami broward and palm beach county it is

00:07:18.340 interesting that when acosta was preparing for his confirmation hearings as labor secretary he was

00:07:24.740 asked what he would do if he was asked by a senator about his disposition of the epstein case he said well

00:07:31.780 i'm going to tell the truth which is i was contacted by the cia who told me that he worked for them and i was

00:07:38.820 to seal the case and talk about it no further uh it's uh interesting also that bill clinton who has uh

00:07:47.220 who has uh i think the real person who's being covered up here the real person who's being protected

00:07:53.140 visited epstein's island 23 times uh was on epstein's uh airplane the lolita express at least 17 times

00:08:03.140 that's according to the faa manifests uh interesting that i read the testimony of virginia roberts uh now

00:08:15.780 that's her name today her name was at that time virginia juffray you see epstein settled with a large 0.99

00:08:22.740 number of the women uh who uh he had uh molested uh or that he had had inappropriate conduct with but

00:08:31.780 virginia roberts uh virginia juffray now virginia roberts declined uh the settlement offer and she

00:08:39.220 sued i went through every one of those uh legal documents they are very extensive they detail bill

00:08:47.140 clinton's time on the island now it's important to note that virginia juffray today roberts never 1.00

00:08:55.620 claimed that she herself uh had sex with bill clinton uh but she said that uh that she knew other

00:09:02.900 women in the island who claimed to her that they had and that she had on one occasion seen

00:09:10.100 bill clinton talking to two underage girls uh in a party uh cozying up to them when she herself was

00:09:17.300 removed from the room to have sex with epstein and another woman it's also interesting that juffray's

00:09:25.540 lawyer testified uh that the only epstein uh associate or the only person who knew epstein

00:09:33.460 who was helpful to him in that lawsuit was donald trump that trump met with him and gave him extensive

00:09:39.540 time telling him what he knew about epstein so uh this this entire story is laid out and the two most

00:09:48.340 compelling pieces of evidence which were produced by pam bondi last week now i believe they were new to

00:09:55.140 bondi they were new to many people because this story never originally got the kind of coverage during

00:10:01.860 the state phase that it deserved it was only because of the dogged efforts of julie brown of the miami

00:10:11.060 herald that this story continued after epstein's release from federal prison and after he went back

00:10:18.580 immediately to his old tricks as they say the real question of course remains what happened to the dvds

00:10:28.740 and the hard drives that were in uh the safe and taken by the fbi they were recovered from his

00:10:36.580 safes in new york city uh in palm beach uh on the island the saint james island which is near the virgin

00:10:43.780 islands uh and his arizona ranch the other two key pieces of information uh that i cite in my book

00:10:55.780 the clinton's war on women was epstein's little black book now epstein's little black book uh are all of

00:11:02.900 his personal contacts uh he had 27 phone numbers for bill clinton and he had numbers for hillary clinton but

00:11:09.380 he also in fairness had phone numbers for donald trump uh and many many other a-list celebrities

00:11:16.100 senators congressmen uh athletes uh movie stars and so on uh he cultivated a very wide circle

00:11:25.540 uh but that still it's kind of shocking to see some of the names in his little black book uh and then

00:11:31.620 the other thing of course which is far for meaning far far meaningful uh the manifests from the faa of

00:11:38.900 who actually flew uh on epstein's plane the lolita express uh again i think i attribute that great

00:11:47.540 moniker to my friend sean hannity those two pieces of information uh were among the things released by

00:11:55.700 bondi last week but we now know that there's far more and of course the single most important question is

00:12:01.620 who's on the dvds and the hard drives now you cannot expect the government to release those

00:12:07.540 because they would be quite graphic perhaps even pornographic they would also expose the identities

00:12:14.260 of the victims i've seen some people complaining uh to and about bondi about the fact that the document

00:12:20.340 she did release included redactions but i looked and those redactions are the names of epstein's victims

00:12:27.140 as best as they can be ascertained so this star story is far from over uh pam bondi is not to be

00:12:36.500 underestimated in my opinion joining us on today's show is the investigative reporter who really

00:12:46.580 was the first person in the united states to cover this story nick bryan is a journalist and an author

00:12:53.140 nick bryan's writing career has wended its way through various incarnations over the last three

00:12:57.940 decades but he is mostly focused on the plight of lower socioeconomic children in the united states

00:13:04.340 in their sexual exploitation and abuse nick bryan spent seven years investigating a child

00:13:10.500 sex trafficking network that was covered up by the state and federal officials culminating in his incredible

00:13:17.300 book the franklin scandal a story of power brokers child abuse and betrayal the trafficking network

00:13:24.420 bryan wrote about in the franklin scandals has been the focal point of a lot of misinformation and

00:13:29.700 disinformation on the internet the franklin scandal and the epstein scandal are quite similar in the sense

00:13:36.740 that both child sex trafficking networks were covered up by state and federal authorities and continue to this

00:13:43.460 day to be covered up for and the mainstream media was complicit because it never demanded justice for the

00:13:50.260 child victims whose lives had been disfigured uh and harmed bryant started investigating the epstein

00:13:57.380 network as early as 2012 when he acquired his little black book uh i i have that material in my book but i give a

00:14:06.260 full attribution to nick bryant for the information uh it may incredibly nick bryant took this bombshell

00:14:14.660 story around to all of the mainstream media outlets and none of them would publish it that was until gawker

00:14:22.660 agreed to publish a series of stories uh they had the fortitude to publish the story and that is the

00:14:29.380 beginning of the public knowledge of jeffrey epstein interesting enough nick bryant has also written a new

00:14:34.980 book the truth about watergate a tale of extraordinary lies and liars to me this is the single best

00:14:42.340 narrative that quickly but in painstaking detail tells you what really happened in the watergate

00:14:49.620 affair and that is a deep state coup in which richard nixon was removed from office because he was

00:14:57.460 threatening to change the structure of the national security apparatus and reign in the cia 0.99

00:15:03.060 documents declassified in the last six months proved that so we're about to get the inside story on

00:15:10.100 jeffrey epstein and watergate when we come back with my guest investigative journalist nick bryant so

00:15:16.580 whatever you do don't touch that dial this is the stone zone with roger stone not just stepping stone the stone

00:16:45.300 and we're back and as promised joining me now is nick bryant journalist and author uh also i would

00:16:56.980 have to say activist because nick bryant has been working very hard to help the victims of jeffrey epstein

00:17:03.220 they almost never get mentioned in this media maelstrom uh nick bryant has also written a

00:17:10.340 phenomenal book the truth about watergate uh and he's been looking into the question of p diddy

00:17:18.020 given his incredible work on the franklin scandal uh that is a massive sex trafficking scandal covered

00:17:25.140 up by the state and federal officials back in the 80s there's really nobody who knows this beat better

00:17:33.140 than nick bryant so uh nick uh welcome to the stone zone i am glad to be back on the stone zone roger

00:17:41.700 uh so nick uh we're gonna take a quick break here in a moment then we're gonna come back and get into

00:17:46.020 some heavy conversation because i know you have a lot to say uh appreciate your being on our show sunday

00:17:52.980 but there's never enough time with you uh i would think that your phone would be ringing off the hook

00:17:58.660 with reporters wanting to ask you about the epstein scandal because you are the first reporter uh in

00:18:05.700 the country uh to break this story you had the so-called little black book the the book of epstein's

00:18:13.140 contacts you had the faa airplane lolita express manifest you know who was on the island and how many

00:18:20.980 times you interviewed uh virginia giuffre now virginia roberts i would think that mainstream media

00:18:29.060 reporters from cnn and the washington post the new york times the wall street journal the associated

00:18:35.540 press they'd be beating your doors down to find out the truth about jeffrey epstein uh but i bet that is

00:18:42.900 not happening so uh it's why i wanted to get you on today and also give us a little more time than we

00:18:48.180 had in our past interviews because you know more about this than anyone we'll be right back

00:19:04.820 i'm not just stepping stone this is the stone zone now get in the zone it's the stone zone here's roger

00:19:16.260 stone all right as promised investigative journalist and author nick bryant joins us now nick welcome to

00:19:24.420 the zone as i say uh what do you make of all this public uh tempest about pam bondi and the release of

00:19:32.340 the epstein list as they say i was disappointed i thought we were going to get something substantial

00:19:40.580 and she said on fox news on national television that we were going to get something substantial

00:19:46.580 and then we ended up with uh nothing sandwich none of the information that she revealed or

00:19:52.260 none of the information that was revealed in those documents really enlightened us about anything

00:19:58.020 jeffrey epstein related and unfortunately we're still in the dark as far as the documentation that

00:20:04.820 the federal government has but here's what's troubling about well there's a number of things

00:20:09.060 that are troubling but and either she was dishonest on national television which i don't think she was

00:20:15.380 but she obviously didn't read the documents when they were released or before they were released which

00:20:22.420 is also agreed she should have known what was on those documents before she went on national television

00:20:28.260 i just uh if i may i just have a slightly different take which is if you're unfamiliar with any of the

00:20:33.620 material if you've never read the stories you have written or the book that i have written uh there's

00:20:40.180 many people don't know for example that senator george mitchell the senate majority leader or governor

00:20:47.940 bill richardson or the scientist stephen hawking uh and a list celebrities like bill and hillary clinton who

00:20:56.500 visited the island you and i know it but most people don't know it uh el hood barack of israel most

00:21:03.380 people don't know these things so it's possible but she read she did find shocking she didn't realize

00:21:09.620 how much more uh the new york-based authorities have the question i asked earlier and i ask you now is

00:21:16.900 what about the the dvds and the hard drives that the fbi took from epstein's safes in new york city palm

00:21:27.620 beach his arizona ranch and on his island i mean first of all do you believe that those exist well they

00:21:33.540 were certainly taken out of his uh safe in new york city and there were a number of cds and various hard

00:21:42.260 drives and the feds also found a lot of child rape material and they seem to have vanished into a black 0.94

00:21:51.780 hole hopefully federal law enforcement still has that information the the media seems to be transfixed

00:22:00.180 on just kicking out salacious dirt on these perpetrators and as you said in the introduction

00:22:06.340 the victims have completely gotten sidetracked in the the the feds investigation and also with the

00:22:14.740 media according to federal sources there were hundreds if not thousands of pictures of child rape

00:22:24.180 material and i'm not aware of the feds going to any of those victims those victims are going to be

00:22:33.300 damaged and scarred for life there are monsters like jeffrey abstein and they really love to collect

00:22:40.820 child rape material and those poor children and now they're young adults are going to be scarred for 0.64

00:22:47.060 life and the federal government doesn't seem to want to help them the mainstream media doesn't seem to

00:22:53.700 want to help them it's really up to activism at this point to make sure that the government does the

00:23:01.140 right thing and that's why i formed ebstein justice because we want a congressional commission and we

00:23:08.180 want the government to look into this matter we need some perpetrators we need perpetrators to be

00:23:14.500 indicted and we also need victims to be helped out tremendously and this your organization is of course a

00:23:21.380 non-profit uh and if people want to contribute and people want to contribute where can they go

00:23:26.420 ebsteinjustice.com that's about as simple as we could make it and our objective is very simple too

00:23:33.940 we want a congressional commission that's what we're vying for and that's what we want a congressional

00:23:39.620 commission incorporates citizens and independent investigators and we can uncover truth though there

00:23:48.420 have been some very corrupt commissions in the past like the warren commission but that was a

00:23:52.420 presidential commission that wasn't a congressional commission so what we need now is our congress

00:23:58.500 people to step up form a commission and incorporate people with integrity and really good investigators

00:24:08.900 and i think that we can at that point get to the bottom of all of this i mean the truth of the matter

00:24:15.700 is epstein had essentially slipped the punch he had been caught the extensive of his activities was

00:24:22.980 known to state and federal prosecutors that he's been federally protected we already know because

00:24:30.100 when michael reiner the police chief objected to local palm beach county prosecutor barry kushner's

00:24:37.380 decision to simply charge epstein with solicitation then bumped up to solicitation of a minor he went to

00:24:44.500 the u.s attorney alexander acosta uh with the hopes that acosta uh would actually seek justice in the

00:24:51.380 case acosta launched his own investigation took some time and then he rubber stamped the state's

00:24:57.700 slap on the wrist for epstein uh and epstein was as you know convicted after his lawyers negotiated a

00:25:05.060 sweetheart deal uh and then uh he was having gourmet meals brought into the south the air-conditioned

00:25:11.700 palm beach county jail uh and the palm beach county sheriff's office was essentially providing a

00:25:17.540 security detail for jeffrey's daily business meetings and rounds uh he only had to be in jail

00:25:24.740 12 hours a day he was free to be elsewhere uh and go about his business so we assume he went right back

00:25:32.740 to his dirty deeds i have accredited julie brown with the miami herald continuing to pound on this story

00:25:40.180 which is why uh after being sentenced in florida in 2008 it is not until 2019 that epstein was arrested

00:25:49.220 again arrested at teterboro airport in new jersey uh upon returning from paris by the way they did not

00:25:56.900 use uh 29 heavily armed fbi agents to take him down and uh the fbi thoughtfully allowed him to throw a

00:26:05.300 coat over his handcuffs so people couldn't see he was being arrested because they didn't want to

00:26:10.900 embarrass him uh he was charged by federal prosecutors in new york with sex trafficking of minors in both

00:26:16.660 florida and new york and he was subsequently uh held at the metropolitan correctional center

00:26:22.180 in manhattan uh the fbi was much nicer to epstein than they were to you that's for sure

00:26:28.980 uh that's precisely the point that i was making so uh when acosta is asked after he gets appointed

00:26:36.020 secretary of labor uh how he will handle this issue if it comes up by the way donald trump has was never

00:26:43.300 told that acosta was the federal prosecutor who who uh rubber stamped the florida conviction of epstein

00:26:50.020 uh he says well if it comes up i'll tell the truth which is the cia uh told me that he worked for

00:26:56.020 them my theory uh all along here has been epstein was a an equal opportunity blackmailer he was a

00:27:03.300 soldier for hire uh i suspect that he worked not only for u.s intelligence but conceivably also

00:27:10.340 israeli intelligence saudi intelligence i think he would work for anyone who was looking for dirt on very

00:27:16.820 powerful people uh which is explains these tapes i find the question of how he got his instantaneous

00:27:25.060 wealth very interesting he went from being a teacher in a private boys school teaching math

00:27:30.660 to uh to being a multi-millionaire he got fired he was fired from that and then he was fired from bear

00:27:37.700 stearns too uh but that wasn't even a speed bump for for his upward mobility uh the thing with emstein

00:27:46.420 go ahead right uh we got about two and a half minutes here and then we'll go to break and come back

00:27:51.060 with it but as you know uh his real financial breakthrough seems to come through when he uh

00:27:56.820 when he acquires this the power of signature over the uh the wealth uh of the uh less wexner 0.82

00:28:06.580 less wexner precisely the owner of victoria the ceo of albrand yes uh wexner i've got a theory about

00:28:14.260 that well so wexner gives epstein total power of attorney over his entire financial empire wexner

00:28:21.860 cuts off all of his old friends uh resigns from his country club cuts doesn't go to his high school

00:28:27.860 reunion uh becomes a bit of a recluse uh and he gifts to epstein the single largest private residence

00:28:37.460 in the borough of manhattan in new york city uh i i do want to hear uh your your theory on uh on

00:28:45.540 less wexner it was known by the way in republican circles that wexner's was a bit strange and there

00:28:50.740 were rumors uh that he was a pedophile but they were nothing other than that rumors but epstein

00:28:57.780 acquires uh his enormous wealth uh and he starts to live an extraordinarily opulent lifestyle when we

00:29:05.860 come back i want to ask nick bryant if there really is an epstein quote unquote list he gave a

00:29:11.700 great interview last week in which he explained why he does not believe that is the case uh we'll

00:29:17.700 talk a bit more about the bombshell epstein case and where it might lead but i also want to talk to

00:29:23.300 him about the single best book written about watergate uh the truth about watergate a tale of

00:29:28.500 extraordinary lies and liars uh by nick bryant nick is by the way not a nixon fan not a republican he's

00:29:35.540 i also i don't think he's a democrat i don't know his politics he's a straight-up investigative

00:29:40.260 reporter who writes and reports and writes books where his research takes him so we'll be right

00:29:46.660 back with nick bryant to get the inside city skinny on epstein also p diddy and what's going on there

00:29:53.220 and the truth about watergate whatever you do don't touch that dial because you'll be right back

00:29:58.660 in the stone zone

00:30:08.100 stone zone with roger stone not just stepping stone the stone zone

00:30:28.660 this is the stone zone now get in the zone it's the stone zone here's roger stone

00:30:45.220 all right as promised investigative journalist and author nick bryant joins us now nick welcome to the

00:30:51.140 the zone as i say uh what do you make of all this public uh uh tempest uh about pam bondi and the

00:30:58.260 release of the epstein list as they say i was disappointed i thought we were going to get something

00:31:06.180 substantial and she said on fox news on national television that we were going to get something

00:31:12.260 substantial and then we ended up with uh nothing sandwich none of the information that she revealed

00:31:18.500 there none of the information that was revealed in those documents really enlightened us about

00:31:23.620 anything jeffrey epstein related and unfortunately we're still in the dark as far as the documentation

00:31:31.220 that the federal government has but here's what's troubling about well there's a number of things that

00:31:35.700 are troubling but and either she was dishonest on national television which i don't think she was

00:31:41.140 but she obviously didn't read the documents when they were released or before they were released which

00:31:48.100 is also agreed she should have known what was on those documents before she went on national television

00:31:54.820 i just uh if i may i just have a slightly different take which is if you're unfamiliar with any of the

00:32:00.180 material if you've never read the stories you have written or the book that i have written uh there's

00:32:06.740 many people don't know for example that senator george mitchell the senate majority leader or governor bill

00:32:14.900 richardson or the scientist stephen hawking uh and a list celebrities like bill and hillary clinton who

00:32:23.060 visited the island you and i know it but most people don't know it uh el hood barack of israel most

00:32:29.940 people don't know these things so it's possible but she read she did find shocking she didn't realize

00:32:36.180 how much more uh the new york based authorities have the question i asked earlier and i ask you now is

00:32:44.500 what about the the dvds and the hard drives that the fbi took from epstein's safes in new york city palm

00:32:54.180 beach his arizona ranch and on his island i mean first of all do you believe that those exist well they were

00:33:00.260 certainly taken out of his uh safe in new york city and there were a number of cds and various hard

00:33:08.820 drives and the feds also found a lot of child rape material and they seem to have vanished into a black 0.94

00:33:18.340 hole hopefully federal law enforcement still has that information the the media seems to be transfixed on just

00:33:27.140 kicking out salacious dirt on these perpetrators and as you said in the introduction the victims

00:33:34.740 have completely gotten sidetracked in the the the feds investigation and also with the media according

00:33:42.660 to federal sources there were hundreds if not thousands of pictures of child rape material and

00:33:51.940 i'm not aware of the feds going to any of those victims those victims are going to be damaged and

00:34:00.820 scarred for life there are monsters like jeffrey abstein and they really love to collect child rape

00:34:07.940 material and those poor children and now they're young adults are going to be scarred for life and

00:34:15.220 the federal government doesn't seem to want to help them mainstream media doesn't seem to want to help

00:34:20.820 them it's really up to activism at this point to make sure that the government does the right thing and

00:34:28.820 that's why i formed epstein justice because we want a congressional commission and we want the government

00:34:36.340 to look into this matter we need some perpetrator we need perpetrators to be indicted and we also need

00:34:43.220 victims to be helped out tremendously and this your organization is of course a non-profit uh and if

00:34:49.700 people want to contribute and people want to contribute where can they go epsteinjustice.com that's about as

00:34:55.780 simple as we could make it and our objective is very simple too we want a congressional commission that's

00:35:02.340 what we're vying for and that's what we want a congressional commission incorporates citizens

00:35:09.300 and independent investigators and we can uncover truth the there have been some very corrupt

00:35:16.180 commissions in the past like the warren commission but that was a presidential commission that wasn't

00:35:20.820 a congressional commission so what we need now is our congress people to step up form a commission and

00:35:28.340 and incorporate people with integrity and really good investigators and i think that we can at that

00:35:37.220 point get to the bottom of all of this i mean the truth of the matter is epstein had essentially slipped

00:35:44.820 the punch he had been caught the extensive of his activities was known to state and federal prosecutors

00:35:52.180 that he's been federally protected we already know because uh when michael reiner the police chief objected

00:35:59.620 to local palm beach county prosecutor barry kushner's decision to simply charge epstein with solicitation

00:36:08.100 then bumped up to solicitation of a minor he went to the u.s attorney alexander acosta uh with the hopes

00:36:14.420 that acosta uh would actually seek justice in the case acosta launched his own investigation took some time

00:36:21.860 and then he rubber stamped the state's slap on the wrist for epstein uh and epstein was as you know

00:36:29.220 convicted after his lawyers negotiated a sweetheart deal uh and then uh he was having gourmet meals

00:36:35.620 brought into the south the air-conditioned palm beach county jail uh and the palm beach county

00:36:41.860 sheriff's office was essentially providing a security detail for jeffrey's daily business meetings and

00:36:48.500 rounds uh he only had to be in jail 12 hours a day he was free to be elsewhere uh and go about his

00:36:57.060 business so we assume he went right back to his dirty deeds i have accredited julie brown with the

00:37:03.060 miami herald continuing to pound on this story which is why uh after being sentenced in florida in 2008

00:37:12.180 it is not until 2019 that epstein was arrested again arrested at teterboro airport in new jersey uh

00:37:20.100 upon returning from paris by the way they did not use uh 29 heavily armed fbi agents to take him down

00:37:27.860 and uh the fbi thoughtfully allowed him to throw a coat over his handcuffs so people couldn't see he was

00:37:35.140 being arrested because they didn't want to embarrass him uh he was charged by federal prosecutors in new

00:37:41.220 york with sex trafficking of minors in both florida and new york and he was subsequently uh held at

00:37:46.420 the metropolitan correctional center in manhattan uh the fbi was much nicer to epstein than they were

00:37:54.420 to you that's for sure that's precisely the point that i was making so uh when acosta is asked after

00:38:01.780 he gets appointed secretary of labor uh how he will handle this issue if it comes up by the way

00:38:08.420 donald trump has was never told that acosta was the federal prosecutor who who uh rubber stamped

00:38:14.340 the florida conviction of epstein uh he says well if it comes up i'll tell the truth which is the cia

00:38:21.380 told me that he worked for them my theory uh all along here has been that epstein was a

00:38:26.740 an equal opportunity blackmailer he was a soldier for hire uh i suspect that he worked not only for us

00:38:34.340 intelligence but conceivably also israeli intelligence saudi intelligence i think he would work for

00:38:40.420 anyone who was looking for dirt on very powerful people uh which is explains these tapes i find the

00:38:48.900 question of how he got his instantaneous wealth very interesting he went from being a teacher at a

00:38:54.900 private boy school teaching math to uh to being a multi-millionaire he got fired he was fired from

00:39:02.580 that and then he was fired from bear stearns too uh but that wasn't even a speed bump for for his upward

00:39:09.460 mobility uh the same with emstein go ahead right uh we got about two and a half minutes here and then we'll

00:39:16.660 go to break and come back with it but as you know uh his real financial breakthrough seems to come through

00:39:22.100 when he uh when he acquires this the power of signature over the uh the wealth uh of the uh

00:39:32.260 less wexner that's wexner precisely the owner of victoria the ceo of albrand yes uh wexner

00:39:39.540 i've got a theory about that well so wexner gives epstein total power of attorney over his entire

00:39:46.180 financial empire wexner cuts off all of his old friends uh resigns from his country club cuts doesn't

00:39:53.540 go to his high school reunion uh becomes a bit of a recluse uh and he gifts to epstein the single

00:40:01.780 largest private residence in the borough of manhattan in new york city uh i i do want to hear uh your

00:40:10.340 your theory on uh on less wexner it was known by the way in republican circles that wexner's was a

00:40:16.260 bit strange there were rumors uh that he was a pedophile but they were nothing other than that

00:40:22.580 rumors but epstein acquires uh his enormous wealth uh and he starts to live an extraordinarily opulent

00:40:30.580 lifestyle when we come back i want to ask nick bryant if there really is an epstein quote unquote

00:40:37.380 list he gave a great interview last week in which he explained why he does not believe that is the

00:40:42.660 case uh we'll talk a bit more about the bombshell epstein case and where it might lead but i also

00:40:49.300 want to talk to him about the single best book written about watergate uh the truth about watergate

00:40:54.660 a tale of extraordinary lies and liars uh by nick bryant nick is by the way not a nixon fan not a

00:41:01.060 republican he's i also i don't think he's a democrat i don't know his politics he's a straight up

00:41:06.100 investigative reporter who writes and reports and writes books where his research takes him so

00:41:12.580 we'll be right back with nick bryant to get the inside skinny on epstein also p diddy and what's

00:41:18.660 going on there and the truth about watergate whatever you do don't touch that dial because

00:41:24.020 you'll be right back in the stone zone

00:41:34.500 the stone zone with roger stone not just stepping stone the stone zone

00:41:39.620 this is the stone zone with roger stone they went after a guy named roger stone who's sitting in

00:42:03.300 the office and i'll say this in front of roger he's no baby and right now he's cleaner than anybody

00:42:08.420 in this place now as they treated him very unfairly now get him his own it's the stone zone here's roger

00:42:17.540 stone and we're back we're talking to investigative journalist nick bryant he is the man who broke the

00:42:26.020 jeffrey epstein story in the united states with a series of blockbuster stories for gawker uh nick uh

00:42:34.580 we were talking about less wexner and the fact that epstein suddenly accumulates wealth appearing

00:42:41.460 apparently wexner's wealth uh he rebrands himself as the man managing a billion dollar hedge fund

00:42:50.020 but as my friends who are who do run hedge funds say it's a hedge fund that doesn't do any deals people

00:42:55.940 in the hedge fund business knew he wasn't running a hedge fund you said you had a theory about wexner

00:43:01.060 so this is what i've been thinking about in 1987 wexner gave emstein the keys to his kingdom and over

00:43:08.580 his billions he could do whatever he wanted with that money and this is kind of funny you know the

00:43:13.780 mainstream media has been so disingenuous when covering this story vanity fair said and and

00:43:21.220 this is kind of mind-boggling but vanity fair said the reason why less wexner gave jeffrey epstein

00:43:30.020 power of attorney over his vast fortune was because he was lonely that's what vanity fair said and it

00:43:40.340 even gets more absurd when you get into leon black leon black of apollo gave epstein 150 million

00:43:48.340 and the mainstream media reported that jeffrey epstein was helping leon save money from taxes from

00:43:56.260 the irs that leon black i'm sure he's got a floor and a high rise dedicated to saving him money on his

00:44:06.260 taxes so the the excuses that the mainstream media has kicked out about this is really disingenuous

00:44:14.500 but i will say this i've been giving this a lot of thought and i think so we have less wexner

00:44:22.020 giving jeffrey i mean potentially a couple billion dollars and then we have leon black giving him 150

00:44:28.660 million dollars i think it's entirely possible that jeffrey epstein and we talked about that

00:44:35.540 earlier he was an intelligence agent or or certainly an intelligence asset he might have been laundering

00:44:41.940 money under the auspices of him having power of attorney over less wexner and also of leon black

00:44:50.420 giving him 150 million dollars because he was going to save leon black from paying certain taxes i think

00:44:56.660 that that is one of the things that's been percolating in my mind over the last couple of

00:45:02.260 months is that jeffrey epstein was wandering money for intelligence i'm i'm not 100 sold on that but i

00:45:10.740 think it's a pretty good barometer of what we what we've seen we certainly can't count on the mainstream

00:45:18.420 media the mainstream media is telling us that les wexner gave jeffrey epstein 100 uh power of attorney over

00:45:25.940 his fortune 1987 because he was lonely i mean we really can't take that too seriously during after

00:45:31.940 you wrote your gawker articles before i wrote my book we both uh came across a character named steve

00:45:38.100 hoffenberg hoffenberg uh who is no longer with us uh had gone to jail himself in an epic financial fraud but

00:45:47.060 epstein had gone to work for hoffenberg hoffenberg predicted to both of us uh that epstein's

00:45:54.660 arrests by the fbi was imminent uh that he would be charged with sex trafficking of minors in both

00:46:01.060 florida and new york we both uh sought to completely disregard what he said uh but he turned out to be

00:46:08.180 right now we turn to the question of whether jeffrey epstein actually committed suicide the government

00:46:13.540 tells us that he died in his jail cell on august 10th 2019 at the metropolitan correctional center in new

00:46:19.380 york city while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges david shown a lawyer he had

00:46:25.460 just retained to defend him at trial had been retained the day before had had an extensive

00:46:32.660 uh uh conference call with him uh had lined up a four-point defense uh he points out that the coroner

00:46:40.340 michael uh badden uh and uh did an examination and said that the marks on epstein's body were not

00:46:48.500 consistent with suicide what do you think happened there it's very obvious that there were many

00:46:54.820 anomalies that night and they took his uh his cellmate was taken out there were guards that were sleeping

00:47:02.100 the video was down it's entirely conceivable that jeffrey epstein was murdered or maybe someone helped

00:47:09.700 him commit suicide but i try not to focus on that too much i think it's a red herring to a certain degree

00:47:16.260 because what we need is justice for jeffrey epstein's victims we can go around and around and around

00:47:24.100 and the mainstream media has about whether he killed himself whether he didn't indications are that if

00:47:30.580 he didn't kill himself someone certainly helped him but my focus has been on justice for epstein's

00:47:36.180 victims and and that's long overdue and the u.s attorney for the southern district of manhattan uh damian

00:47:45.780 williams he was the one that oversaw maxwell's trial when maxwell was on she was on trial she was on

00:47:55.940 trial for a couple of different conspiracies uh one was trafficking and one was the intent to traffic

00:48:03.220 and only four victims were called and the four victims that were called had only been molested by

00:48:10.660 either maxwell and or epstein so they couldn't name a number of the other perpetrators that was a very

00:48:18.260 carefully choreographed uh trial that ultimately found maxwell and found her guilty and gave her 20 years

00:48:25.940 and she was given i mean her she's been in a cush federal prison for the last couple of years she's

00:48:34.100 living in a dormitory which is definitely way beyond where she should be at at this point

00:48:41.860 generally only prisoners that have had exemplary behavior that are close to getting out are living

00:48:47.300 in dormitories that's how it generally goes but damian williams is also the u.s attorney that indicted

00:48:53.940 p diddy and that grand jury was very very crooked it indicted p diddy on one kind of racketeering

00:49:02.340 conspiracy but like maxwell it didn't invite anybody else it's really hard to have a conspiracy when

00:49:09.540 there's only one person that's responsible for the crime so i believe that damon williams was brought

00:49:16.900 in to make sure that the maxwell trial was carefully choreographed and then he was brought in to make

00:49:23.140 sure that the p diddy trial or the p diddy grand jury he was brought in for damage control for the p diddy

00:49:31.220 grand jury and now that p diddy is waiting in jail keeping his mouth shut like maxwell i think that

00:49:40.100 he saw what happened to emstein and he saw what happened to maxwell and i think that p diddy said well

00:49:44.980 you know i think i'm gonna play this like maxwell and after that now damon williams has resigned from

00:49:53.220 being the u.s attorney for the southern district which is considered the most powerful federal law

00:49:58.100 enforcement agent but i found something very interesting when i was digging into him he was he came out of

00:50:05.700 the clinton machine and terry mccullough and you could tell that he was reared by some very dirty

00:50:14.260 politicians but he was given a hundred thousand dollar grant to go through law school at yale by the paul

00:50:23.540 and daisy soros foundation which gives grants to the children of immigrants his parents are from jamaica

00:50:32.100 but what's really interesting is that peter soros is on the board nick i'm afraid we have to leave it

00:50:40.900 there i want to thank you for joining us again again tell folks where they can go to help the epstein

00:50:45.300 victims epsteinjustice.com and we can use all your help all right nick bryant investigative journalist

00:50:54.100 today breaking news right here in the stone zone until the next time god bless you and godspeed

00:51:02.100 so
