00:01:15.700 But folks, this is a story that we need to pay attention to because I believe that Justin Fairfax and what happened to him this morning and his family, for those of you who didn't hear the story, murder-suicide, Justin Fairfax murdered his wife and then later used the same firearm to kill himself in their home in Annandale, Virginia.

00:01:40.000 That's Northern Virginia. Fairfax was the lieutenant governor when Ralph Northam, remember him, was the Democrat governor of Virginia.

00:01:50.100 Justin Fairfax was also a Democrat. Remember, they have separate elections for governor and lieutenant governor in Virginia.

00:01:55.840 They don't run as a ticket, so you can sometimes have a split ticket, although I don't split government there.

00:02:00.280 I don't think that's happened, though, for a very long time.

00:02:02.160 But anyway, this guy was the lieutenant governor. And if you may also recall, there was a moment there in 2019 when it looked like he might become governor any day now.

00:02:16.360 And that's what I want to talk about. And I want to talk about the way the Democrat Party has become a national entity. It's become like the Supreme Soviet. It's become a party that controls Democrats from dog catcher on up.

00:02:35.220 parliamentary system or a soviet system it wasn't created this way our founding fathers understood

00:02:41.240 a couple of things to say the least that's an understatement and one of the things they

00:02:45.180 understood is that personality was still important the human behind these decisions are you listening

00:02:52.000 ai people the human behind our governing position positions and decisions was important

00:02:57.900 and they wanted to have that human aspect that personal aspect of a monarch without the absolute

00:03:05.380 power of a monarch and i think they did pretty well in creating that for our country in the

00:03:11.400 constitution from the president down to some of the other positions and elected positions

00:03:16.020 and it created a nation where there was national accountability a lot of the time but also very

00:03:22.440 importantly, local accountability. And the great Tip O'Neill, the longtime Speaker of the House,

00:03:29.480 Democrat, put it best when he said all politics is local. And when he was alive,

00:03:36.620 and when he was Speaker of the House, and he was a power in the Democratic Party, that was true.

00:03:42.940 I don't believe it's true anymore in the Democratic Party. And that's much to everyone's

00:03:48.880 everyone's grief right now so how does this have anything to do with what happened with

00:03:55.100 justin fairfax well let me get into the details of this it's important to understand these details

00:04:09.340 accusations among people in the know that he had had maybe some issues with women with sexual

00:04:14.260 misconduct sound familiar nobody made an issue out of it though public that publicly hugely in the

00:04:20.220 public eye the news media didn't get into it it wasn't front and center for him politically

00:04:26.480 and on and on down the line enter 2019 and ralph northam the democrat governor of virginia who

00:04:35.520 also happened to be an md gets caught with pictures from his medical school yearbook

00:04:40.940 Eastern Virginia Medical Center, steps away from the house I lived in as a pre-teen adolescent.

00:04:50.040 Turns out he had some pictures in his yearbook in a Klan's outfit, blackface, the whole thing.

00:04:55.420 It's not looking good for Ralph Northam.

00:05:19.820 justin fairfax would be the governor of virginia i checked and rechecked the order of succession

00:05:28.920 came after him in virginia according to virginia law it's the statewide elected attorney general

00:05:33.200 who was also a Democrat at the time, by the way.

00:05:36.000 Anyway, and suddenly, as Ralph Northam is teetering on the edge,

00:05:41.120 these accusations come out against Justin Fairfax.

00:06:09.120 And it may have been because Ralph Northam, as an MD-turned-Democrat governor, had just recently, before that scandal broke with him, turned out he had come out all in favor of absolutely no restrictions on abortions at all, nine months plus.

00:06:30.400 issue and how to play politics in america that that was worth his weight his weight in gold he

00:06:35.360 was worth his weight in gold a former md i mean he didn't get stripped of his md's license a doctor

00:06:46.840 always republicans i know there's some exceptions ralph northern was one of them so he already was

00:06:52.340 valuable in that sense. And then for him to come out against no bans, nine months, but no bans on

00:06:56.440 abortions at all, I think that's what made him extremely valuable to the DNC. They wanted him

00:07:01.080 to stay as governor at all costs. And if that meant cutting loose an African-American young 1.00

00:07:06.520 up-and-coming guy like Justin Fairfax by pulling the trigger on the sexual misconduct stuff that 0.99

00:07:11.600 was out there for their use, if they ever wanted to, then so be it. And I'll say the same thing

00:07:40.360 what i do know is true just like with the eric swalwell situation the coordinated effort to get

00:07:46.460 those accusations out there against him was just that a very well-coordinated well-funded effort

00:07:52.880 it worked beautifully suddenly everything started to just become a waiting game the the folks who

00:08:00.520 wanted ralph northam and his people to stay in office just had to wait it out they waited it out

00:08:05.780 they got a big distraction sure enough there's always another distraction looming and i think

00:08:11.260 in this case the distraction was the impeachment stuff against president trump the first impeachment

00:09:59.540 and yes, there are some elected members of the Democratic Party who run the DNC,

00:10:05.320 but there's also people who are not elected and work behind the scenes,

00:10:09.280 like David Axelrod, the idea that we would have a party with a party marching orders

00:10:15.700 that you can't march away from, even if you know your people in your district aren't going

00:10:38.080 did it very, very loudly. Robert O'Rourke Sr., Beto O'Rourke's father, he was the city manager of

00:10:46.840 El Paso, which in El Paso government is really more important than mayor. And he made a big

00:10:51.820 stink in 1986 against the Reagan administration's amnesty for illegal aliens because the city of

00:10:56.880 El Paso was bleeding money in its hospitals and its schools, and he very famously sent an itemized

00:11:01.520 bill to the White House. He was a big celebrity among the left for doing that. They even put him

00:11:07.680 on 60 Minutes. He got on the front page of the New York Times back when being against illegal

00:11:12.160 immigration was something Democrats were okay with. But I'm not here to talk about the border.

00:11:16.880 I'm just here to talk about how here was someone who was dealing with his local issue for his people

00:11:22.400 and standing out for it. He wasn't going to call the National Democratic Party and say,

00:11:27.940 can I do this? Because even then, even though the Democrats had a lot of people who were against

00:11:31.400 illegal immigration, there still were a lot of people within the Democratic Party powers,

00:11:35.800 although they weren't as strong as they are now, who were in favor of more open borders,

00:11:40.560 most notably Jesse Jackson, who felt strong enough about it that when he ran for president

00:11:45.580 the second time in 1988, just two years later, made open borders a big part of his campaign,

00:11:50.940 and he got some traction with that among the left. He was ahead of his time on that for the left.

00:11:56.420 I don't like that policy at any time, but for the left, he was a little ahead of his time on that

00:12:00.140 one. Anyway, that's one example. In New York City, you had people like Mayor Koch, who stood up

00:12:06.520 against President Carter on a number of occasions during their overlap. Ed Koch was mayor from

00:12:11.580 1978 until 1991, early 92. Right, sorry, 1990. Sorry, 1978 until the January 1st, 1990.

00:12:25.440 And so he had a few years where Jimmy Carter was the president, where he had a Democrat president,

00:12:28.800 and he often feuded with him. Mario Cuomo was an outspoken Democrat, often bucking his party.

00:12:36.240 And then if you go back really further into the 70s, you had people like Scoop Jackson,

00:12:40.000 Henry Scoop Jackson as a senator, Frank Church. These were Democrats who thought independently

00:12:45.320 and were part of that all politics is local understanding. But we don't have that now.

00:12:53.380 You've got to be in step with what the party wants. And if the party feels that you're losing

00:12:56.780 an election like they felt with eric swalwell they're going to cut you loose they're not just

00:13:00.240 going to cut you loose though they're going to smear you and whatever you think of eric swalwell

00:13:06.120 you certainly don't hope he ends up like justin fairfax because there were innocent people

00:13:09.700 involved the children of this couple i mean god help those children this wife he killed

00:13:16.160 we don't want eric swalwell to spiral to that level because there's innocent people involved

00:15:15.060 I've heard that before. Every time a conservative person gets defeated, they put up someone who's really a far leftist, but they put the wolf in sheaf's clothing.

00:15:25.640 They say, oh, this is a moderate. Look what happened. Speaking of Virginia, we were talking about Virginia in the previous segment.

00:15:31.080 That's what they were telling us about Abby Spanberger. Turns out she's far to the left of Mao Zedong with all the things she's doing. 0.98

00:15:37.820 So they told me about this Peter Magyar. I said, well, he's really he's not so bad.

00:16:02.360 First, he went on state TV and pulled a justifiable Trump, your fake news type of moment, reminded the state TV interviewers that this channel, that that channel had smeared him, smeared his family, and that he's going to pull the state funding because all the, you know, all those channels in here, they're all state funded.

00:16:23.380 so that was a lovely moment and then more importantly he gave a speech today talking

00:16:29.360 about how not only is he going to keep the borders secure and hungry but he's going to

00:21:08.220 of Trump supporters. It's all bad, but it's when a business doesn't act like a business. It just

00:21:13.260 really bothers me. It gets me to the point where I wonder like, well, what's the point of this

00:21:17.220 entity if they're not really out to make money and expand their business? In this case, expand

00:21:21.700 their viewerships and readerships. And I've talked about this before. But the problem here, of course,

00:21:28.160 let's just get back to the scandal now so that's my pet peeve of course the biggest pet peeve i

00:21:31.760 have and it's much more than a pet peeve the thing that's really scary about this folks

00:21:35.220 is that whether it's letitia james coming up with charges against trump that no one has ever cared

00:21:39.920 about in the first place the appraisals of donald trump's property and that ridiculous what was it

00:21:45.080 a couple million dollars assessment for mar-a-lago it's a it's it's a it's a very massively valuable

00:21:50.840 property or if it's something like this where they're basically breaking the law to try to

00:21:57.460 use the law against somebody like they did with Donald Trump in this first impeachment case.

00:22:14.960 Schofield as Sir Thomas More. It was written by Robert Bolt. It was a great playwright and a great

00:22:19.820 screenwriter. He also wrote Lawrence of Arabia, which was a bear, by the way, to try to turn

00:22:24.140 those books into a screenplay. Anyway, in that movie, and I'm going to play this quote for you

00:22:29.200 because it's really a powerful quote. In that movie, Moore's own son-in-law and family want

00:22:34.120 him to arrest somebody who they think is plotting against Thomas Moore, even though they don't have

00:22:39.220 solid evidence, but they want him to be arrested. This is cut two. Here's how Thomas Moore,

00:22:44.260 played by Paul Schofield, responds.
