00:00:31.120 The Stone Zone.

00:00:33.080 Entertaining and informative.

00:00:35.100 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:00:38.020 And I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone again this evening.

00:00:41.940 And I want you to remember this date.

00:00:43.720 Write it down.

00:00:44.620 Circle it if you have a calendar.

00:00:46.700 Whatever electronic device you have, there's something you can use to highlight.

00:00:49.840 April 17th, 2026 may be, in all seriousness, one of the greatest days in American history.

00:00:58.240 world history because we are seeing now i believe to be a very peaceful moment being used

00:01:06.280 to undermine what's left of the iranian regime and maybe maybe completely unravel

00:01:12.580 many many decades of bad stuff going on in that region now i want to give you a little bit of a

00:01:19.620 taste of what reportedly is going on a lot of this coming from credible sources that have never let

00:01:24.660 me down at least not since this war started several weeks ago but I want to let you know

00:01:29.440 what's going on right now with Iran with President Trump and with the news media because all three

00:01:34.760 of those entities are playing an important role in what again I believe is a red letter in a good

00:01:39.860 way red letter day for American history now over the course of the last 12 hours or so really less

00:01:47.220 President Trump's been making a lot of statements about Iran and what this whatever's left of this

00:01:53.600 regime has agreed to do they include handing over what's left of their uranium very well

00:02:00.200 enriched uranium known as nuclear dust president trump claiming no money is changing hands over

00:02:06.160 this but the left-wing news media reporting that the united states has agreed to hand over 20

00:02:12.380 billion dollars for that uranium there's no proof of that but that has been uh emerging in a number

00:02:19.240 of reports and a lot of left-wing news media outlets doing a little neutron dance getting

00:02:23.080 all excited about how, well, Obama

00:02:24.980 didn't give them that much money, and Trump's been so angry

00:02:27.120 about the money that Obama and Biden gave them.

00:02:29.240 Ha ha ha ha ha.

00:02:31.020 But you have to understand, those news

00:02:32.960 reports are playing a very, very important

00:02:35.100 role in what's going on in Iran right now.

00:02:38.540 Because

00:02:38.980 President Trump has done two things now,

00:02:41.740 and his helpers have done

00:02:42.940 two things right now that are causing absolute

00:02:45.140 chaos in

00:02:47.060 Iran. Again, according to many

00:02:48.900 sources, among what's left of the regime.

00:02:50.540 now as for these reports that

00:02:53.660 Iran has agreed to hand over the uranium

00:02:55.420 President Trump's also claimed

00:02:57.740 that Iran has promised never to close the

00:02:59.560 Straits of Hormuz again

00:03:00.700 he said that Iran has promised to stop funding

00:03:03.680 Hamas and Hezbollah

00:03:04.940 it's starting to get 1.00

00:03:07.180 to turn to what looks like a

00:03:09.260 wish list of things that we've always wanted

00:03:11.660 decent people have always wanted

00:03:13.160 well before this war started forget that

00:03:15.280 these are things that people like me have been calling for

00:03:17.780 and hoping for for 30 years 1.00

00:03:19.480 and it's very likely that no one has actually agreed to this and what's left in the Iranian

00:03:25.760 regime so why is President Trump saying it is it just his usual boasting

00:03:28.900 again according to many sources that I have found to be credible over a long time not just since

00:03:35.140 this war started this was all deliberate what's left of the Iranian regime is now at each other's

00:03:40.620 throats trying to find out who made these deals with President Trump and the money part of it

00:03:46.260 Also, some of them are saying, wait a minute, who agreed to take the money?

00:03:50.960 Now, I don't care what your title is as a journalist. 1.00

00:03:54.140 If you were stupid enough to write a story that President Trump is handing over $20 billion and you figure like, well, he's just being a hypocrite. 1.00

00:04:01.380 All right, maybe you think President Trump's a hypocrite, but I have a question for you, Mr. Journalist and Ms. Journalist. 1.00

00:04:06.600 Who the hell is he giving that money to exactly and how the money is going to get there?

00:04:11.020 I mean, can't you just think for a second?

00:04:12.460 there's no money going to iran and it ain't 20 billion dollars and if there's money that's going

00:04:19.260 to go somewhere into that country it's going to be well after that regime is gone maybe to help

00:04:24.480 rebuild an international effort who knows but that's not happening right now what's happening

00:04:29.320 right now is a major confusion operation and we are hearing reports that there's even murderous

00:04:34.640 activity among what's left of the leadership right now as they are accusing each other of

00:04:38.740 making deals with President Trump,

00:04:40.800 with holding off, holding back,

00:04:43.080 holding out on the rest of them

00:04:44.360 on money that they supposedly got,

00:04:46.280 and it's absolute chaos.

00:04:48.660 Oh, I just love it.

00:04:51.220 Talk about a PSYOP.

00:04:53.640 And I want to thank the left-wing news media,

00:04:55.900 the Trump-hating news media,

00:04:57.020 for playing this important role

00:04:58.660 in this deception campaign. 0.64

00:05:02.400 The Iranian regime, again, what's left of it, 0.89

00:05:04.640 and the sort of head honcho

00:05:06.860 is this Mohammed Galibov,

00:05:08.240 the Speaker of the Parliament, who was the guy who represented Iran at the peace talks last weekend in Pakistan.

00:05:14.920 He's all over the place today, apparently, trying to figure out.

00:05:17.680 He's denying all the things that Trump said, but he's not denying it to bash Trump.

00:05:21.800 He's denying it to save his own hide.

00:05:25.360 Oh, this is a lovely situation, isn't it?

00:05:27.920 I'm really kind of enjoying it.

00:05:30.520 But just in case you're fixated, you think that it's true that the Trump administration is going to hand over $20 billion,

00:05:37.020 dollars to where were they handing it over to who's taking the money are they going to put it

00:05:44.360 in a bank somewhere i mean it's it's such a ludicrous claim i feel sorry for people who

00:05:48.500 believe it i understand why you want to believe it because you want to believe that trump just 0.96

00:05:52.660 does everything wrong which is a stupid assumption to make i mean look i i don't understand how we're 0.96

00:06:00.160 still at this point 11 years after he started running for president almost and you're still 0.96

00:06:04.600 believing every crazy story about him on its face every single time but i had a little fantasy of

00:06:12.820 my own speaking of the things going on in the iranian heads let's say the united states had

00:06:17.940 at least agreed in basically maybe on paper or just in a verbal agreement to hand over 20 billion

00:06:26.480 dollars i'd like to play this scene from the wonderfully historically accurate star trek 2

00:06:33.060 when William Shatner, Captain Kirk, quote-unquote,

00:06:37.280 hands over something to the enemy.

00:06:39.260 Listen to this.

00:06:40.780 Con, how do we know you'll keep your word?

00:06:43.740 Well, I've given you no word to keep my word.

00:06:46.740 In my judgment, you simply have no alternative.

00:06:53.080 I see your point.

00:06:56.040 Stand by to receive our transmission. 1.00

00:06:58.720 Yeah, stand by, Iran. Here it comes. 1.00

00:07:00.500 Lock the phasers on target and I'll wait my command.

00:07:03.060 Phasers, look.

00:07:05.920 Time's up.

00:07:07.820 Here it comes.

00:07:11.780 Now it's time.

00:07:19.020 Sir, our shields are dropping.

00:07:23.300 Raise them.

00:07:25.820 I can't.

00:07:29.480 Where's the override?

00:07:30.820 There's no override, Mr. Speaker.

00:07:33.060 yeah that's the transmission there's no 20 billion dollars coming if there's any incoming

00:07:47.620 from the united states it's going to be more ordinance but maybe it won't be necessary

00:07:51.460 the chaos on the bridge of khan ship is very similar to the chaos going on in iran right now

00:07:57.700 you can bet on that my friends again this is not a uh cheerlead trump he's always right kind of

00:08:04.220 segment i'm just making it clear stop believing every single crazy conspiracy theory it's not

00:08:09.280 really a conspiracy theory that's really too high high a categorization for what these reports are

00:08:14.220 about the u.s handing them 20 billion dollars it justifies logic it's like saying president trump

00:08:20.020 stole a million trillion dollars there's no such thing there's no there's no one to hand the money

00:08:25.080 over two who would the agreement have been made with we're not we're not in direct talks with

00:08:31.600 them right now the the blockade is still in place the iranians have ordered the straits open

00:08:38.180 no more attacking the ships i mean really try to just be a little bit logical for a second and 0.99

00:08:46.080 remove your hate hate makes you stupid by the way people who are consumed with hate start to lose 0.97

00:08:52.140 their ability to be logical and to reason normally that's why as much as i can't stand 0.99

00:09:00.360 so many people in politics and so many people some of them my former colleagues in the news

00:09:06.180 media i don't fixate on them i was very disappointed in just about every policy

00:09:10.860 that barack obama implemented as president i can think of a couple that i liked the surge in

00:09:16.680 afghanistan but i didn't go to sleep every night obsessing about the man i didn't think about him

00:09:22.440 all that much i really didn't now that just wasn't just for my mental health that was for my

00:09:28.100 professional ability to continue to analyze events in both politics and economics and in our culture

00:09:36.160 i didn't go to bed worrying that he was going to ruin my life we have millions and millions

00:09:42.820 Americans who do that every night

00:09:44.940 with Donald Trump and have been doing it

00:09:46.940 for going on 11 years. These people

00:09:48.940 are sick and I don't know what the 0.99

00:09:50.840 solution is for them. I don't know what the cure is for

00:09:52.840 them because in my

00:09:54.920 experience since then

00:09:56.760 with the mental health care

00:09:58.740 profession in this

00:10:00.820 country, most of the mental health care

00:10:02.760 professionals in this country are similarly

00:10:04.760 afflicted with Trump derangement syndrome.

00:10:06.920 Almost all of them.

00:10:08.980 Almost all of them. So a lot of

00:10:10.820 good they'll do.

00:10:13.340 This is a potentially wonderful day for America and the world. 0.93

00:10:17.680 The Iranian regime is turning on itself, according to many reports, 0.90

00:10:20.500 based on all these boasts from President Trump, and it's all deliberate.

00:10:25.600 It's all deliberate.

00:10:27.980 And we could see a very interesting result over the next couple of days 0.82

00:10:31.600 without us having to fire another shot, without Israel having to fire another shot,

00:10:36.780 and wouldn't that be lovely?

00:10:38.280 All right, I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone this evening.

00:10:40.660 We've got a lot more to talk about.

00:10:41.860 And by the way, I want to take your calls in the last half hour.

00:10:44.300 The number is 800-848-9222 on this Friday night.

00:10:49.300 Again, April 17th, 2026 could be one of the great days in American history.

00:10:54.920 And maybe you missed it if we didn't talk about it tonight.

00:10:57.360 We'll be right back.

00:11:01.760 The Stone Zone, entertaining and informative on the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:11:08.660 And I'm Jake Novak filling in again for Roger Stone.

00:11:11.100 As I said at the top of the program, this day, April 17th, 2026, it'll probably bleed over until tomorrow, April 18th.

00:11:18.520 But today is tonight is April 17th.

00:11:20.240 This could be really one of the great days in American history, a day where an enemy already deeply wounded by American and Israeli strikes turned on itself based on just a few comments from President Trump.

00:11:31.540 And for those of you who think that can't happen, just take a look at how much President Trump turns and twists the left in this country into knots on things he just says and how crazy they go over things he says.

00:11:45.240 And it isn't just, unfortunately, turning on themselves when President Trump says things, they turn on the rest of us sometimes.

00:11:51.620 A lot of us are really convinced that they opened the borders when President Trump left office in 2021, that they opened the borders simply because they knew this would hurt and anger President Trump and his supporters, even though it also took the country down, almost.

00:12:08.040 It certainly hurt us a lot.

00:12:10.160 But let's talk about the positive.

00:12:12.800 President Trump made a number of statements today

00:12:14.980 that have confused and angered and caused homicidal activities,

00:12:19.920 apparently, among what's left of the Iranian regime.

00:12:24.940 Some of them believe that there was a $20 billion agreement

00:12:28.160 between the United States and Iran to hand over the Iranian.

00:12:30.380 No such agreement was made, by the way,

00:12:32.280 despite what you read in the Daily Beast or some other crazy left-wing publication.

00:12:36.300 There's a couple of Iranian leaders in the regime who want some of that money

00:12:39.160 that they think is real.

00:12:41.340 President Trump said that Iran has agreed to stop funding Hamas and Hezbollah,

00:12:45.840 leading some of their leading advocates within the regime wondering what the heck happened

00:12:49.420 and threatening to kill anyone who made that deal.

00:12:52.620 President Trump said that Iran has promised never to close the Strait of Hormuz again,

00:12:57.340 leading to, oh, more confusion, finger-pointing, anger, 0.95

00:13:01.560 and just an absolute scurrying of the rats in the Iranian regime, 0.92

00:13:07.500 who spent apparently all their time today jitting up a phony demonstration. 1.00

00:13:11.660 They got a bunch of Iranian women to come out and pretend like they support the regime. 1.00

00:13:15.760 They probably have all their husbands and loved ones in a prison somewhere 1.00

00:13:18.380 where they paid them off or just threatened to kill them.

00:13:23.040 It was also a really great day, April 17th to this day,

00:13:26.020 because of what happened on Wall Street.

00:13:27.900 Really nice day on Wall Street.

00:13:29.180 Again, more all-time highs for the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ.

00:13:33.580 And the S&P 500 is really the index that you need to pay attention to.

00:13:37.120 That's the broader index.

00:13:38.480 It's 500 because it's 500 stocks that are in that index.

00:13:43.080 When it goes up, that means really stocks in general are going up.

00:13:46.980 Some of the other indices, even the Dow and even the NASDAQ, which have a lot of stocks,

00:13:51.440 and then the Dow has 30.

00:13:52.800 NASDAQ, you know, it's basically 100 stocks.

00:13:54.820 It doesn't matter.

00:13:55.460 It's not as broad-based as the S&P 500.

00:13:57.640 But, of course, those indices are up, too.

00:13:59.420 The Dow was up 869 points today.

00:14:03.320 The NASDAQ was up 366 points today.

00:14:06.820 major rallies for all three,

00:14:09.580 the NASDAQ and the S&P at all-time highs,

00:14:11.540 the Dow Jones now,

00:14:13.660 just about 1,000 points off its all-time high.

00:14:17.400 But really, on a percentage basis, not much here.

00:14:20.240 We're talking about just over 2% away from its all-time high.

00:14:24.400 And all-time highs, again, on the more important S&P 500.

00:14:28.300 So the losses from the Iran War have been erased in the stock market. 0.72

00:14:32.720 Now, again, that doesn't mean the Iran War is good. 0.99

00:14:34.600 That doesn't mean everything is great and on and on down the line, although I do believe that the decision to go to war with Iran was correct and a good decision.

00:14:42.460 A lot of people don't believe that.

00:14:43.660 I'm not going to win an argument over with them, even if they're being intellectually honest, simply by pointing to the stock market.

00:14:49.800 But my friends, please, a huge part of the left wing and Democrat Party pushback on the Iran war has been this economic complaint.

00:14:58.840 They all made videos this week.

00:15:00.360 They waited too long.

00:15:01.160 They should have done it two weeks ago.

00:15:03.220 You got a Kamala Harris video this week. 0.99

00:15:05.040 She's standing in front of a gas station where gas prices are still significantly less than they were when she was vice president. 1.00

00:15:09.940 She has the chutzpah, the gall, to stand in front of a gas station where it's still cheaper than it was when she was vice president to say, look how bad it is with gas prices.

00:15:18.160 I mean, it's just incredible what people will swallow from these folks. 0.58

00:15:22.720 And you got all kinds of Democrats talking about, oh, this is ruining the cost of living.

00:15:26.820 Mom Donnie, the mayor of New York, going on Thursday morning's program, CBS Morning.

00:15:31.500 I don't know what it's called. 0.85

00:15:32.360 It's always been the third place pathetic morning news program. 0.91

00:15:34.820 So what does it matter? 0.86

00:15:35.840 They've had Gayle King on there because she's friends with Oprah.

00:15:38.040 I mean, I don't know what they were expecting out of that program.

00:15:40.600 But Mom Donnie goes on that program and says, this war is costing us billions of dollars and we're killing thousands of civilians.

00:15:46.200 No, we're not.

00:15:46.720 Where's the thousands of civilians?

00:15:49.580 I mean, this has been the most incredibly low number of civilians killed considering the massive amount of bombing Iran has taken of all time. 0.75

00:15:56.240 They haven't even been able to parade out the phony civilian deaths that they always do, like in Gaza and stuff like that. 0.86

00:16:02.640 That's almost all phony also. 0.60

00:16:05.220 Well over 80% of the people who died in Gaza in the Israel-Gaza war, Hamas war, were Hamas combatants of all ages and sizes.

00:16:13.920 And even Hamas now admits that in their own statistics.

00:16:17.820 But they haven't even bothered to parade out a lot of dead civilians in Iran because there aren't any.

00:16:22.480 there are some but a ridiculously low number thank and a happily low number

00:16:28.240 but nobody questions zoran mamdani on the cbs morning ridiculous pantomime show they have there

00:16:35.160 with hostesses and hosts who don't know anything no one said hey wait a minute uh wait a minute

00:16:38.860 where the civilians who've been killed what are you talking about where the thousands what are

00:16:42.320 you talking about mayor he goes on there and says that the narrative's already been broken

00:16:49.060 gas prices have been falling for more falling for more than a week the national average gas

00:16:53.980 price for a regular gallon of gas according to triple a today four dollars and seven cents

00:16:59.020 that's down nine cents from the high just to eight or nine days ago no it's not falling like a stone

00:17:04.400 but it's falling you lost your narrative you waited too long to make your videos camilla

00:17:09.960 all right i'm jake novick in for roger stone we're going to take some of your calls in the

00:17:14.340 next half hour 800-848-9222 we'll be right back

00:17:19.060 the stone zone entertaining and informative on the red apple podcast network when the united

00:17:29.320 states of america took out osama bin laden i didn't have one minute of thought thinking oh no

00:17:35.000 this is going to help barack obama who cares we got a really bad guy

00:17:40.160 when president biden was turning out failing in his dealings with the taliban and just handing

00:17:48.060 over them billions and billions of dollars worth of weapons i wasn't thinking like well great

00:17:53.300 fantastic it's going to be bad for him i i mean i just can you please grow up thomas friedman and

00:18:01.080 all these other people who have admitted that they hate trump so much and they hate netanyahu

00:18:04.800 so much mostly due to their own delusions neither trump nor netanyahu are saints but i'm sorry

00:18:10.540 they're not felons can you please stop with the felon stuff and even worse that they've been

00:18:14.440 accused of i mean really you called benjamin netanyahu a felon because he got a box of cigars

00:18:19.540 from somebody i mean get over yourself you know it's so interesting the people who continue to

00:18:26.900 hate on trump and hate on netanyahu they have a similar mo almost all of them whether it's

00:18:33.160 george conway or thomas friedman some other people i don't want to name but

00:18:38.500 let me just give you a little bit of a point or something that i've learned in my life

00:18:44.440 The one thing that an arrogant man hates more than anything else,

00:18:47.780 even more than someone who, God forbid, would murder his family, 0.71

00:18:50.700 the one thing that an arrogant man hates more than anything else 0.99

00:18:54.020 is another arrogant man. 0.97

00:18:56.260 They hate the fact that someone else has the gall to be arrogant 0.98

00:18:59.200 when I'm the one who has the right to be arrogant. 0.96

00:19:01.160 They hate, and so Netanyahu and Trump trigger a lot of arrogant guys. 0.98

00:19:06.460 And Thomas Friedman, George Conway, people like that are arrogant SOBs. 0.97

00:19:12.500 And some of them have the right to be. 0.95

00:19:14.080 They've made a lot of money.

00:19:15.260 They've,

00:19:15.520 they've created great businesses.

00:19:16.940 They've done.

00:19:17.480 Okay.

00:19:19.480 I mean,

00:19:20.220 all right.

00:19:22.260 But you know,

00:19:22.980 humility means if you don't have humility,

00:19:24.560 you're never going to really succeed that much again.

00:19:26.940 And,

00:19:27.140 um,

00:19:28.160 president Trump may not have a lot of ingrained humility right now that you

00:19:31.260 know of,

00:19:32.120 but people who know him,

00:19:33.480 especially people who are in policy meetings with him say he asks a lot of

00:19:36.120 questions that an arrogant person who's always arrogant would never ask.

00:19:39.900 He just go ahead with what he wants to do.

00:19:42.460 And of course he's president.

00:19:43.780 of the United States. And being arrogant all the time 0.93

00:19:45.960 and being president, actually, it

00:19:47.820 works for you on a campaign trail, getting you the

00:19:49.940 oomph to go out there and campaign.

00:19:52.160 But you're going to be humbled several times

00:19:53.980 a day as president of the United States. I'm just telling you that right now.

00:19:57.000 Or you'll be frustrated.

00:19:58.460 You're not going to get what you want like you were running

00:19:59.940 your company. And I'm sure President Trump has learned

00:20:01.880 that now, after almost six years of

00:20:03.920 being president, between his first and

00:20:05.920 second term. At least five and a half, I guess.

00:20:09.080 Anyway, this is 0.83

00:20:09.960 a red-letter day in a good way for the United 1.00

00:20:11.980 states it's been a fantastic day it looks like we are absolutely turning the iranian regime into

00:20:18.340 knots and i want to personally thank the trump deranged left-wing news media for helping in this

00:20:24.020 deception campaign with all those reports that they were doing today dancing in the streets

00:20:29.040 about how i think it was so great that president trump handed over 20 billion dollars to iran

00:20:33.360 according to them because this proves that obama wasn't so bad for handing over a lot less and what 1.00

00:20:37.780 hypocrite Trump is. It didn't happen. And you know it didn't happen. 0.99

00:20:41.940 Can you just think for a second? Where exactly would the money have gone?

00:20:45.560 In a hollow tree in some park in Tehran? There's no one to give

00:20:49.800 the money to. Please just think for one second. But I guess

00:20:53.900 that's too much to ask. I guess it's also too much to ask

00:20:57.520 for some of these outrageous conspiracy theorists to think for a

00:21:01.860 second also. Another interesting development, and I think this is also good for the health of the

00:21:05.780 country if people report it please report it if you see this and tell your friends about it

00:21:10.700 if you've been following all the conspiracy theories and the horrible smears coming out

00:21:16.380 of the murder of charlie kirk everything from blaming his own family for killing him which i've

00:21:22.360 seen blaming israel for it all these crazy things because that's what people do who are bad bad

00:21:28.140 people use these kinds of horrible events to try to make them worse and to capitalize on them via

00:21:33.460 more division and stuff like that well good news for the decency in the world today because here's

00:21:41.380 what prosecutors told us about what happened in the charlie kirk shooting it turns out it's all

00:21:47.400 caught on camera no i know you've already seen the charlie kirk the vantage point that just showed

00:21:51.720 him and that horrific his horrific death i'm talking about we have cameras of the shooter

00:21:56.740 Tyler Robinson, listen to this.

00:21:58.980 He then leaves the campus.

00:22:01.500 UVU surveillance then captures him return later.

00:22:04.100 He returns on foot right before the Charlie Kirk event.

00:22:07.560 He's wearing a disguise of sorts.

00:22:09.640 He's wearing a baseball cap, different baseball cap, pulled low.

00:22:12.280 He's got sunglasses on, a different shirt, different pants, but the same Converse shoes.

00:22:17.680 That's all seen in the surveillance.

00:22:19.940 He's limping because there's a rifle down his pants.

00:22:22.560 the surveillance captures this individual again i should i don't want to overstate the evidence

00:22:28.360 because the pictures of his face at this time are not as definitive as they were earlier

00:22:33.220 because of the sunglasses and the hat but it captures his face captures his appearance his

00:22:38.660 height his build all consistent with how he looks earlier in the day and how he looks today in court

00:22:42.880 you hear that candace and all you other divisive liars people who are literally accusing charlie

00:22:51.480 kirk's wife and family of killing him there was video of tyler robinson all along and like smart

00:22:59.980 prosecutors they held that close to the vest now obviously there are some aspects of conspiracy

00:23:06.900 theories out there that are true the reason why i hate them is because the people who promote them

00:23:12.520 as conspiracy theories as opposed to here's a historic event here's something we here's nothing

00:23:17.160 you can do about it you ever notice that about conspiracy theories it's some unnamed bad guys

00:23:21.360 out there who we can never stop who can't really be there's nothing we can do about it we can just 0.87

00:23:26.540 be angry and sit and stew it's it's poor it's it's porn it's like it's like pessimist porn

00:23:33.240 and i hate that it's a big reason why conspiracy theories shouldn't be listened to because there's 0.61

00:23:40.440 never anything really to do and if they try to do something about it it turns out to be phony

00:23:44.860 but there you go all along tyler robinson was caught on camera throughout a long period of that

00:23:54.140 day good night irene your case is over okay we got you on camera stop with the conspiracy theories

00:24:04.200 i guess you can still say well someone gave him the gun i mean that you're gonna tell me that

00:24:08.820 some major power in the world trusted some strange disturbed kid with no real experience

00:24:14.440 to go shoot Charlie Kirk?

00:24:16.200 And really, Charlie Kirk was worth it as a target for you?

00:24:18.380 Really?

00:24:20.020 I mean, he was an amazing person making major impacts

00:24:22.500 at universities, but I really don't think that a foreign

00:24:24.580 country was really challenged by Charlie

00:24:26.620 Kirk.

00:24:29.300 That was your target?

00:24:31.660 Again, just

00:24:32.240 use your brain for a second. Just like I asked you to use

00:24:34.480 your brain with this ridiculous report 0.99

00:24:36.140 that Trump's handing over $20 billion to Iran. 1.00

00:24:38.780 Can you just use your brain for a second? That makes no

00:24:40.440 sense. It doesn't make sense.

00:24:42.960 Who's the money going to?

00:24:44.440 It doesn't make sense that Israel or China or even Russia or Iran would want to kill

00:24:48.080 Charlie Kirk or really, I mean, they don't like him, but I don't really think they know

00:24:51.720 who he is.

00:24:53.200 He had a huge impact on young people in this country.

00:24:57.080 I really don't, he was a really, I think, again, a person who continues to be smeared.

00:25:01.460 I got all kinds of people telling me he was a terrible racist because they listened to 0.59

00:25:05.180 left-wing liars about him, and that's sad. 0.92

00:25:07.460 Even in death, they're still smearing him.

00:25:10.460 Good person, compassionate person, understanding person.

00:25:14.440 but no foreign power was trying to kill him was a disturbed once again a disturbed person with a

00:25:22.540 gun and we've got it on camera so good night that's it if i were tyler robinson and his lawyers i would

00:25:29.300 consider a plea right now and stop wasting our money on all your nonsense please please

00:25:38.440 i also want to say another reason why i think this was a good day in america because

00:25:44.280 We're getting closer to the moment when we have a very organized and coordinated pushback on this absolute insanity of having biological males playing in girls' sports and biological males going in girls' locker rooms.

00:26:04.420 I have yet to find one person in America, and I meet a lot of people every day, I've lived in a lot of places in this country, and I know a lot of leftists. 0.79

00:26:14.280 Real, radical leftists.

00:26:15.640 And yet none of them have told me that they support that idea.

00:26:20.080 None of them. 0.97

00:26:21.780 And a lot of them are gays and lesbians. 0.80

00:26:24.140 And even there are even trans people like Caitlyn Jenner, the former Bruce Jenner, who don't approve of this either.

00:26:35.040 Well, today we started to hear one of the states that's been making a big deal out of this.

00:26:39.540 a state I used to live in, Maine

00:26:42.320 their Governor Janet Mills

00:26:44.040 who's decided to go to war with the Trump administration 1.00

00:26:46.220 over precisely this issue

00:26:47.860 I mean

00:26:50.200 you're going to tell me, and I used to live in Maine

00:26:51.820 so remember who you're talking to, you're going to tell me

00:26:54.240 that the people of Maine really want 0.93

00:26:56.100 boys in girls locker rooms

00:26:58.180 and really want boys competing in girls sports

00:27:00.120 and that there's a critical mass of voters who really 0.72

00:27:02.200 want this, of course there aren't

00:27:04.340 and you're going to tell me that this is the quote right thing

00:27:06.280 to do, why is it the right thing to do

00:27:09.540 It makes no sense. Well, here's Linda McMahon, our education secretary, explaining how the Trump administration is going to go after Maine for this. Listen to this.

00:27:20.420 We want to make sure that if you open women's sports or intimate facilities to males, you expose yourself to federal rights, federal civil rights investigations. 1.00

00:27:32.840 Governor Mills will definitely get her wish. We want to make sure.

00:27:36.380 Well, there you go.

00:27:39.140 Again, I used to live in Maine.

00:27:40.540 It was a long time ago, about 30 years ago.

00:27:42.640 But let me tell you something.

00:27:43.500 I kept up with it, and I can tell you a couple of things about the state of Maine that really are important to understand.

00:27:49.260 Maine is a poor state.

00:27:51.200 It's got a lot of land, not a lot of people.

00:27:54.520 Financially, that state has been in arrears for a long time.

00:27:59.440 It's also a really aging state.

00:28:01.320 So when Olympia Snow, who used to be a senator from Maine, a Republican, was one of the people who caved and allowed Obamacare to happen, it was pretty obvious to me why.

00:28:14.140 Because what Obamacare really was, for the most part, and is for the most part, is an expansion of Medicaid.

00:28:19.040 That's all it is.

00:28:20.440 It isn't an expansion of insurance, really.

00:28:23.280 It sure as heck isn't an expansion of health care.

00:28:25.300 And I wasn't at some liberal news organization when Obamacare was being debated.

00:28:31.320 I was at Fox News. I was at the Fox Business Network. I was a founding producer at the Fox Business Network and a founding contributor to the economic reporting on Fox News. And I pounded the table in our editorial meetings with the big bosses and I said, can we please stop calling Obamacare health care reform? It's got nothing to do with health care. It's health insurance reform. And they wouldn't do it.

00:28:53.760 because for all the arguments and all the people who pull their hair out and i'm mostly bald

00:28:59.720 who go all upset about oh fox news is so conservative all these conservative ideologues

00:29:04.600 well to have to be an ideologue you have to have ideas most of the people i work with either in

00:29:09.260 left-wing news organizations like when i worked at cnn and there were a lot of left-wingers when

00:29:13.240 i was at cnbc i was executive producer at all these places also in editorial columnists

00:29:17.200 just about everywhere i've worked whether they were so-called right-wing network like fox or

00:29:21.840 so-called left-wing network like cnn i could count on one hand the people who had any ideology at all

00:29:26.800 they had no beliefs in anything none there's probably one or two true believer conservatives

00:29:34.140 at fox and if it weren't for people like me they'd have no ideology to discuss at all and i'm not an

00:29:41.040 ideologue i'm i i i'm a thinker i'm at least aspiring to be a thinker i think of my i try to

00:29:48.400 aspire to be one my father who's a great philosopher told me that to be a scholar is

00:29:54.260 amazing that means you've been real well read you've been educated but to come up with the

00:29:57.820 original ideas based on that education that means you're a thinker and that's the highest level

00:30:01.940 of intellectualism according to philosophers so i aspire to be one i don't know if i am one i know

00:30:06.520 my dad is one i mean a lot of thinkers in newsrooms fox cnn cnbc there just aren't and i don't really

00:30:13.800 mean that as an insult because a lot of them are much better at the production qualities

00:30:18.700 making graphics running down live news events than i'll ever be so i don't really mean that

00:30:26.340 as an insult but i'm just telling you if you think that they're ideological in these places

00:30:29.540 don't please don't and then you have the added problem of many of them not really

00:30:35.120 knowing what the heck they're talking about so to put this into the context of a state like maine

00:30:43.800 that has an aging population, has a shrinking population, is poor as sin.

00:30:51.240 Somehow, going along with Obamacare, which was, people thought,

00:30:54.440 well, wait a minute, Obamacare is kind of a big expense for states.

00:30:56.280 Well, no, not for a state like Maine, where they were given federal money to expand Medicaid,

00:31:01.460 and that was something that Olympia Snow, even as a Republican, was willing to go along with, as much as she did.

00:31:07.500 At first, I was shocked, because she was a congresswoman when I was working in Maine in television news there,

00:31:12.600 And she was a tremendous defender of Maine against what the big issue at the time for states like Maine was was unfunded federal mandates when the federal government made a law about something usually environmental in nature and just expected the states to implement it and didn't give them any money to do it or not enough money.

00:31:27.560 Maine was getting crushed economically by the Clean Water Act

00:31:32.000 and almost all the water in Maine was absolutely pristine

00:31:34.820 but the inspections and the upkeep

00:31:38.180 to prove that they were in compliance with the Clean Water Act

00:31:41.920 was busting the state financially

00:31:43.600 and anything that was an unfunded federal mandate drove them crazy

00:31:47.260 and at first we really thought Obamacare was that

00:31:49.400 it turned out to be this expansion of Medicaid

00:31:51.920 and even that wouldn't have been so bad

00:31:54.420 if Obamacare had included

00:31:57.220 an increase in health care

00:31:59.060 but it was not health care reform

00:32:00.820 it was health insurance reform or health coverage reform

00:32:03.480 we gave

00:32:05.020 millions more Americans the belief

00:32:07.160 in their minds that they had access to health care

00:32:09.040 that they didn't have before

00:32:10.100 but we added no net new hospitals

00:32:12.580 no net new doctors

00:32:13.920 and we expected young people to foot the bill for it

00:32:17.260 by paying for major medical programs

00:32:19.280 when they were in their 20s

00:32:20.420 other than that

00:32:22.960 mrs lincoln it was a great program it was a terrible idea it made no sense from the very

00:32:29.720 beginning from a financial standpoint they call themselves the party of science the democrats

00:32:34.300 well mathematics is a science

00:32:36.260 and uh you know sorry that's not the way it worked

00:32:41.080 folks this is this is exactly our problem in this country right now we have people who

00:32:48.280 support policies that make no sense

00:32:52.960 And we're trying to push back against illogical, totally unpopular policies.

00:32:58.780 There is no critical mass anywhere in any state that wants boys playing in girls sports

00:33:03.820 and biological males in girls' or women's locker rooms.

00:33:07.020 None.

00:33:09.200 And you have governors and people running for Congress and people running for president

00:33:13.360 who are willing to die on that hill.

00:33:16.340 Why? 1.00

00:33:18.020 Are they just stupid? 1.00

00:33:20.520 I wish that were the case. 1.00

00:33:22.960 I think they're being supported by people who want to see this country fail and fall into these kinds of traps.

00:33:28.740 All right, I'm Jake Novak in for Roger Stone.

00:33:30.300 We've got one more segment left on The Stone Zone.

00:33:32.740 Stay with us.

00:33:37.000 The Stone Zone.

00:33:38.960 Entertaining and informative.

00:33:40.880 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.

00:33:43.820 And I'm Jake Novak filling in for Roger Stone on this Friday night.

00:33:46.740 I've been telling you April 17th, this date, April 17th, 2026, could be a great day in American history

00:33:52.240 because it is chaos on ice in Iran right now as all what's left of the regime leaders are at each other's throats

00:34:00.220 over all these claims that President Trump has made about deals made, money, all kinds of stuff going on,

00:34:05.340 and they're all turning on each other, and it's glorious to see.

00:34:08.080 I also think it's a great day in America because we're seeing a concerted effort now, one by one,

00:34:13.140 the Department of Education going after these incredibly horrific, immoral, harmful policies 0.99

00:34:20.320 that some states are pushing, allowing males to play girls' sports 0.71

00:34:26.160 and be in girls' locker rooms.

00:34:28.820 Sandra in New Jersey, you wanted to talk about this.

00:34:30.740 Sandra, welcome.

00:34:32.260 Yes, I wanted to share something with you.

00:34:34.500 When I was younger and I was on the swimming team,

00:34:37.540 I remember the very first meet.

00:34:39.820 I went to Pennsylvania. 0.89

00:34:41.580 The girls came out, my competition. 0.97

00:34:44.100 They were huge. 0.99

00:34:45.360 They were big.

00:34:46.660 I jump into the pool.

00:34:48.320 I do my thing.

00:34:49.780 And I think I'm doing okay.

00:34:51.660 The next thing I know, they're all done.

00:34:53.760 They're done.

00:34:54.680 And that's when I realized that when you're bigger, you're more powerful and you do better.

00:35:01.320 So could you imagine if I was swimming with men? 0.90

00:35:05.400 It would have even been worse. 1.00

00:35:06.740 So that's my point.

00:35:08.100 I learned when I was younger that size has a lot to do with the outcome of a competition. 0.99

00:35:15.500 And I saw it with women. 1.00

00:35:16.900 They were twice my size, and I lost the race. 0.99

00:35:20.140 Yeah, you know, it's not only about, and so that's the first aspect of it. 0.97

00:35:23.680 It's not fair.

00:35:24.620 I mean, we have divisions for boys and girls sports in our high schools

00:35:28.900 and men and women sports in college and pro

00:35:31.300 because there is a different level of competition,

00:35:33.900 and the sports are played slightly differently, in some ways very differently

00:35:37.060 because of the biological realities and the differences.

00:35:41.320 And to have someone from one biological background

00:35:43.700 coming into a different league to do this is not fair.

00:35:48.600 That's bad enough.

00:35:50.120 But of course, it leads to other things.

00:35:51.560 There have been injuries in these one-on-one sports,

00:35:53.820 especially in sports like volleyball and in basketball.

00:35:57.160 And we have the locker room problem.

00:35:59.760 And the idea that a biological male should be next to a biological female in a locker room. 0.96

00:36:07.220 You know, we don't have to have like Sharia law where men never see women uncovered. 0.50

00:36:12.020 I'm not talking about that.

00:36:12.980 We're just talking about safety and smart, just being smart.

00:36:17.960 And our children have been put in danger.

00:36:21.420 And it's another form of what I believe is child sacrifice.

00:36:24.660 We're not necessarily throwing the children into the volcano or into fire like we did in pagan times.

00:36:30.360 But we are sacrificing children for political gain, just like we did in pagan times.

00:36:35.360 When I say we, I mean humans. 0.91

00:36:36.780 it's a lot of that's many thousands of years of evolution that we should have learned not to do

00:36:42.660 this but we haven't but good news linda mcmahon's department of education doing the right thing not

00:36:48.480 just going for a national policy but specifically targeting someone who's doing the wrong thing i'm
