00:03:33.260 The New York Times claimed that Hegseth created a Signal chat in January entitled Defense Team Huddle,
00:03:41.880 which included his wife and other members of his professional inner circle,
00:03:46.320 including some of his top advisors and aides,
00:03:49.160 and used a private phone instead of his government-issued phone to access the Signal chat.
00:03:55.440 Two people familiar with the chat said that the separate Signal group
00:03:59.420 had been created as a way to discuss routine scheduling and administrative information,
00:04:05.320 and Hegseth did not use the chat to discuss any sensitive military operations.
00:04:11.960 One U.S. official told the outlet regarding the chat,
00:04:14.820 the truth is there was an informal group chat that started before confirmation of his close advisors.
00:04:21.540 Absolutely nothing classified was ever discussed in that chat.
00:04:25.960 White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly told Fox News in the wake of the New York Times report,
00:04:31.600 No matter how many times the legacy media tries to resurrect the same non-story,
00:04:38.360 they can't change the fact that no classified information was shared.
00:04:42.860 Recently fired leakers are continuing to misrepresent the truth to soothe their shattered egos

00:05:48.700 Attorney General Pam Bondi repeated on Monday
00:05:51.320 that the Alien Enemies Act,
00:05:53.680 which was invoked by the Trump administration
00:05:55.800 because of Tren de Aragua,
00:05:58.460 is a foreign arm of the Venezuelan government.

00:06:29.460 that Venezuela is not connected to this violent terrorist gang,
