00:00:22.220 had ruled that President Donald Trump exceeded his authority

00:00:26.660 to impose tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977.

00:00:34.640 Prior to that, a U.S. District Court judge in Florida, Judge T.K. Weatherall,

00:00:40.620 had suggested that President Trump had the authority to impose tariffs under that law,

00:00:47.040 a ruling from the 1970s, but he did not issue a court order.

00:00:51.220 According to the judge, the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977

00:00:57.000 gave President Trump the authority to set tariffs for reasons other than just raising revenue.

00:01:03.960 Judge Weatherall wrote that President Trump's justification for the tariffs,

00:01:09.020 both stemming the flow of illicit drugs into our country

00:01:12.200 and resolving the atrocious trade imbalances,

00:01:16.480 was sufficient to satisfy the terms originally set by Congress.

00:01:20.940 But rather than issue an order, Judge Weatherall punted the case from a federal court in South Florida

00:01:27.640 to the relatively obscure Court of International Trade in New York.

00:01:34.280 And that three-judge panel ruled late yesterday that the president had exceeded his authority

00:01:42.400 to impose tariffs on other countries under the IEPA, as it's called.

00:01:49.600 That three-judge panel at the U.S. Court of International Trade,

00:01:53.620 which is an extraordinarily low-profile court, looking up online, you see almost nothing,

00:01:59.000 ruled Wednesday to set a temporary halt in President Trump's global tariff effort

00:02:05.040 that he imposed citing these emergency economic powers back on April 2nd.

00:02:10.300 You remember that? It was what he called Liberation Day.

00:02:14.380 Well, now, the president, before we were off the air yesterday,

00:02:19.400 the president had appealed that to the federal courts,

00:02:23.900 and only hours ago, a federal appeals court temporarily reinstated President Trump's tariffs

00:02:31.400 after the Court of International Trade in New York said the president had exceeded his authority

00:02:38.180 under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977.

00:02:44.980 The en banc court granted the Trump administration an immediate administrative leave less than 24 hours

00:02:53.260 after this ruling by an obscure court.

00:02:57.180 Strangely enough, one judge on the court did not participate.

00:03:02.540 The request for an immediate administrative stay is granted to the extent that the judgments

00:03:06.840 and the permanent injunctions entered by the Court of International Trade in this case

00:03:10.420 are temporarily stayed until further notice while the court considers the motion papers.

00:03:16.000 This is a smashing victory for President Donald Trump.

00:03:21.240 Once again, we see the same thing, where the courts are attempting to exceed their authority

00:03:27.300 and disrupt the executive authority granted to President Donald Trump under the U.S. Constitution

00:03:34.060 and affirmed in the last presidential election.

00:03:38.220 According to CNN, the federal court's ruling in Wednesday's injunction,

00:03:43.180 30% tariffs on China, 25% tariffs on some goods imported from Mexico and Canada,

00:03:49.300 and the 10% universal tariffs on most goods coming into the United States would have been halted.

00:03:57.160 According to CNN, the obscure ruling did not affect the 25% tariffs on autos, auto parts, steel, or aluminum,

00:04:06.220 which were subject to Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act, a different,

00:04:13.180 which is broader trade agreement.

00:04:16.700 This is going to be an ongoing issue, folks, in which liberal Democrat jurists,

00:04:22.600 who are anything but apolitical, on the federal courts seek to undo the results of the last election.

00:04:30.220 President Donald Trump has no choice but to quickly appeal these demented and baseless rulings,

00:04:38.020 with, of course, the final backstop being the U.S. Supreme Court.

00:04:43.740 We saw this previously, when the courts ruled that President Donald Trump did not have the constitutional authority

00:04:50.780 to deport illegal immigrant gang members with criminal records from the United States, as well as all illegals. 0.91

00:05:00.760 We went through this same rigmarole, but with the U.S. Supreme Court finally ruling that Trump did have that authority

00:05:09.740 so that deportations of dangerous criminals could then proceed.

00:05:14.720 In the meantime, Dan Bongino, deputy director of the FBI, revealed shockingly that the FBI, under James Comey,

00:05:24.080 had intentionally mishandled and hidden substantial evidence from the American public in a secret safe room,

00:05:31.740 and that the contents of this room had been discovered and would soon be known to the American public.

00:05:38.080 While discussing the remaining Comey loyalists in the FBI building,

00:05:44.180 Bongino announced that the FBI discovered an entire room of mishandled and hidden evidence from the Comey years.

00:05:52.020 He actually went on to say the FBI is working now to declassify these documents,

00:05:55.920 and once that occurs, the public will be shocked to learn what is there.

00:06:29.620 Now, I'm going to assume that yesterday's revelations that Nellie Orr, who was the wife of the FBI official Bruce Orr,

00:06:41.940 who was one of the perpetrators of the Russian collusion hoax,

00:06:46.020 and who clearly, based on documents released by Senator Chuck Grassley, chairman of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday,

00:06:54.900 lied under oath to help cover up the entire Russian collusion operation,

00:07:01.240 which was, as we've said on the show many times,

00:07:03.660 the largest single dirty trick in the history of American politics.

00:07:09.120 It was an abuse of power in which the full authority of the United States government

00:07:14.360 and the extraordinary capabilities of our intelligence agencies

00:07:18.840 were used utilizing what the FBI and the CIA and the Justice Department and the White House,

00:07:26.540 under Barack Obama knew, was completely fabricated evidence,

00:07:31.500 the so-called Steele dossier,

00:07:34.400 and the false claim that they still try to circulate

00:07:38.260 that the Democrat National Committee had been hacked by Russian intelligence.

00:07:45.260 They have never produced any evidence to sustain that.

00:07:49.060 They point to the report of a company called CrowdStrikes,

00:07:56.800 that the FBI admits they never inspected the computer servers of the DNC.

00:08:01.960 They relied on this company CrowdStrike.

00:08:04.580 That CrowdStrike report remained classified,

00:08:08.160 but the head of CrowdStrike, Sean Henry,

00:08:11.320 who just coincidentally happened to be a former deputy of Robert Mueller's at the FBI,

00:08:16.500 admitted under oath to the House committee investigating the Russian collusion hoax,

00:08:23.000 that he had found no evidence whatsoever of any Russian hack.

00:08:28.120 So Bongino says that this material will be released.

00:08:33.540 He also implies a great deal it had to do with the Russian collusion hoax.

00:08:38.740 He also spoke, again, about the attempted assassinations of President Donald Trump,

00:08:45.200 and he insisted yet again that everything that there is to know is known.

00:08:54.120 He was particularly critical of former FBI Director Jim Comey,

00:09:00.400 this man is a disgrace to the badge, the FBI, and the country,

00:09:03.580 taking personal shots while you're on the beach implying a threat towards the president,

00:09:10.480 which, if you followed this curcuffle, you know is exactly what Comey did.

00:09:16.880 Meanwhile, one of President Trump's chief executive officers predicted

00:09:23.400 that the legislative agenda passed by the U.S. House,

00:09:29.560 the big, beautiful bill would make America,

00:09:34.340 every American family, $10,000 richer.

00:09:39.040 This came, of course, from Kevin Hassett,

00:09:43.160 the Director of the National Economic Council,

00:09:45.740 and he went on to say that the Congress recently passed big, beautiful bill,

00:09:50.980 which includes the greatest single tax increase, tax decrease in American history,

00:09:58.620 not to mention the doing away with the tax on tips,

00:10:04.480 doing away with the tax on Social Security and retirement,

00:10:08.840 providing a new tax credit for those who buy their car or truck from a U.S. company,

00:10:15.960 a vehicle made here, is the greatest single tax cut in American history,

00:10:22.560 and therefore, if you voted against it,

00:10:25.600 well, then you would be getting a 65% tax increase in January.

00:10:30.920 If the Republicans in the Senate don't pass the big, beautiful bill,

00:10:34.320 as President Trump calls it,

00:10:35.820 it would therefore be the greatest tax hike in history.

00:10:39.980 Meantime, on Monday,

00:10:41.440 Federal Housing and Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte

00:10:45.480 called on the Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell

00:10:49.540 to lower interest rates.

00:10:52.040 Enough is enough.

00:10:53.660 President Trump has crushed Biden's inflation,

00:10:56.660 according to Pulte,

00:10:57.600 and there's no reason not to lower rates.

00:11:00.240 The housing markets would be in much better shape

00:11:06.040 This is just the latest effort to influence Powell

00:11:08.760 and comes after the Supreme Court ruled last week

00:11:11.620 that Trump can't fire the head of the Federal Reserve.

00:11:19.280 but sadly, he does not have that authority.

00:11:22.380 The only thing that Congress can do here, of course,

00:11:24.920 is to repeal the entire Federal Reserve Act,

00:11:28.460 which, frankly, Congressman Ron Paul advocated years ago,

00:11:34.240 and I think would be an excellent first step.

00:11:36.900 One other point here, and that is, you remember,

00:11:40.200 some months ago, Elon Musk,

00:11:43.400 who was then heading the Department of Government Efficiency,

00:11:46.680 said that he was going to examine our gold reserves

00:11:50.400 that were held in Fort Knox, Kentucky,

00:11:53.860 with a very large section of our gold reserves

00:11:57.280 held by the New York Federal Reserve in New York City.

00:12:02.160 The gold has not been seen since 1974.

00:12:08.620 You notice how you've heard nothing whatsoever about that

00:12:14.340 I mean, where is the gold?
