00:00:08.220 I'm George Sifakis.
00:00:09.740 In a world overflowing with noise, there is one forum where the world's smartest voices
00:00:15.760 connect, where visionaries sit at the same table as innovators, and great minds don't
00:00:21.680 just talk, they act.

00:00:37.760 You are now entering the Stone Zone.
00:00:41.120 Well, with House Republicans holding a very narrow six-seat margin in the lower house,
00:00:48.060 219 Republicans to 213 Democrats, all eyes were on the special election in Tennessee's
00:00:56.220 7th Congressional District yesterday, and we can now report that Republican candidate
00:01:01.420 Matt Van Epps has won that special election, defeating Democrat State Representative Afton
00:01:07.840 Ben in what was a closer-than-expected race.
00:01:11.860 Media outlets projected the race fairly early after totals from Nashville were offset by results
00:01:18.280 from Republican-leaning counties across the district.
00:01:20.940 Van Epps had been emphatically endorsed by President Donald Trump in the final days of
00:01:26.840 that campaign, calling Van Epps one of the best candidates we've ever had, and his opponent,
00:01:32.860 a progressive Democrat, Ben, a woman who hates Christianity, will take away your guns, wants
00:01:39.340 open borders, transgender for everybody, men and women's sports, and openly disdains country
00:01:46.720 music, which, let's face it, outside of Nashville, is very dangerous for any candidate.
00:01:52.440 The contest drew national attention as Democrats hoped to steal a seat in a district that overwhelmingly
00:01:58.880 voted for President Trump in 2024.
00:02:02.960 Van Epps previously served as commissioner of the Tennessee Department of General Services
00:02:07.980 and ran on a strongly pro-Trump platform focused on economic development, manufacturing,
00:02:14.020 and what he described as a pro-business growth platform, including support for cryptocurrency
00:02:20.320 and development of artificial intelligence.
00:02:23.940 Ben, a self-described peed-off social worker, campaigned on health care access, opposition to
00:02:31.560 immigration enforcement policies, and community advocacy, setting herself up to be the AOC of the South.
00:02:39.720 Some commentators are perturbed by the narrow margin, but they should remember Stone's rule.
00:02:46.080 A win is a win.
00:02:47.860 We should be happy we won the seat and use this momentum to build strong results in the midterm elections.
00:02:53.980 There is no time here for blackpilling, as the young people call it.
00:02:57.920 We have to redouble our efforts to make sure as many America first, pro-Trump candidates on the ballot
00:03:03.320 next time in the midterm elections.
00:03:05.240 And then the way we assure victory is by targeting RINOs for elimination in the primaries
00:03:11.380 and putting candidates on the ballot next year who strongly support the Trump agenda.
00:03:17.200 That's actually what brings voters out.
00:03:20.300 Meanwhile, the House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan has sent a subpoena
00:03:24.980 to former Special Counsel Jack Smith for a closed-door deposition scheduled for December 17th.
00:03:32.200 This move shows that Congress may finally be getting serious about investigating the mishandling
00:03:38.340 of the criminal probes that targeted President Donald Trump, the tsunami of lawfare against him,
00:03:45.340 as he attempted to return to the White House.
00:03:48.960 Congressman Jordan demands that Smith release the key information he has about the illicit
00:03:54.080 and extra-constitutional probes as the committee finds out all the ways that federal law enforcement
00:04:00.000 was used improperly and illegally and unconstitutionally against President Trump and top Republicans.
00:04:07.460 The Arctic Frost target list included senators, congressmen, Trump family members, and, well, yours truly.
00:04:15.540 Smith was the mastermind of the dubious prosecution of Trump over the efforts of Trump and his supporters
00:04:22.740 to combat voter fraud after the 2020 election.
00:04:26.440 The classified documents case brought against President Trump after leaving office
00:04:30.460 that resulted in the shameful raid at his home in Palm Beach, Mar-a-Lago,
00:04:36.080 and the secretive Arctic Frost operation, which resulted in Republican lawmakers,
00:04:41.480 conservative organizations and individuals, Trump allies and friends,
00:04:45.580 and even some conservative media outlets being subject to illicit surveillance
00:04:50.160 in direct violation of the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
00:04:55.340 In addition to testimony, Jordan's subpoena demands that Jack Smith's internal records,
00:05:00.480 including communications and documents from his time as special counsel, be produced.
00:05:05.480 The Justice Department has authorized Smith to testify without restrictions tied to executive privilege,
00:05:10.180 setting the stage for what will be, hopefully, a major reckoning against the lawfare campaign
00:05:15.860 meant to destroy Donald Trump and his supporters.
00:05:19.380 The news is tightening, figuratively, perhaps literally, around the neck of Smith.
00:05:23.980 All of his fellow deep-state co-conspirators should be losing sleep over what is to come
00:05:29.360 as their overreaching and arrogance is coming back to bite them big time
00:05:33.980 with Donald Trump back in the White House.
00:05:36.540 Meanwhile, the Trump administration unveiled a proposal Wednesday
00:05:40.560 to roll back Biden-area fuel economy standards,
00:05:44.960 a move that will lower vehicle prices and, I believe, expand consumer choice.
00:05:50.380 The plan, announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration,
00:05:54.860 will reset requirements for models years 2022 through 2031,
00:06:01.220 targeting an average of 34.5 miles per gallon by 2031,
00:06:07.080 instead of the 50.4 miles per gallon level finalized under the Biden administration.
00:06:13.800 These revised standards better reflect current market realities
00:06:17.540 and prevent regulatory targets from forcing cars out of reach for the average person.
00:06:23.580 Under the proposal, fuel economy increases would slow to between a quarter and half percent per year,
00:06:29.600 sharply replacing the rises that were put in place during Joe Biden's time in office.
00:06:35.620 Officials estimate the change could cut up-front vehicle prices by about $900 per car.
00:06:43.700 The plan also eliminates credit trading among automakers, which begins in 2028,
00:06:51.180 a system that disproportionately benefits electric-only manufacturers
00:06:55.240 and their credit-selling schemes to hide their lack of viability in the U.S. marketplace.
00:07:01.780 President Donald Trump is promoting this plan alongside leaders from the major U.S. automakers
00:07:06.860 who say rigid mandates were pushing the industry towards plant closures and layoffs across the country.
00:07:13.660 Executives from Ford, General Motors, and Stellantis have praised the shift
00:07:19.080 as a balance between efficiency and affordability.
00:07:22.560 Ford's Jim Farley said it allows progress on emissions without sacrificing consumer choice,
00:07:29.560 while General Motors' Mary Barra warned that prior rules would have made it
00:07:33.940 virtually impossible to keep factories running.
00:07:37.620 The Trump administration is laser-focused on keeping cars affordable,
00:07:42.220 protecting jobs, and letting innovation, instead of government mandates,
00:07:46.420 drive the market forward.
00:07:47.680 To me, this is the sort of meat-and-potatoes American populism
00:07:52.520 that put the Republican Party on a winning trajectory in the last election,
00:07:56.520 and now we need to see more of it.
00:07:59.560 Meanwhile, crooked Hillary Clinton is weighing in on the future of Democrat politics,
00:08:04.140 and her prognosis is, well, not very good.
00:08:07.280 The two-time failed presidential candidate is evidently dismayed by the rise of AOC,
00:08:12.600 Zoran Mamdami, and other radicals who are now clearly dominating the party,
00:08:18.120 particularly among younger people.
00:08:19.720 And they're spreading an unabashedly anti-Israel message while they do it.
00:08:24.320 Hillary Clinton lashed out at the misinformation that's being spread on social media platforms
00:08:28.980 like TikTok, which was used for years as a tool of the Chinese Communist Party,
00:08:34.200 and has been radicalizing young people against the Jewish state.
00:08:37.960 Hillary Clinton said,
00:08:40.020 Smart, well-educated young people from our own country, from around the world,
00:08:43.620 where are they getting their information?
00:08:45.600 They were getting their information from social media, particularly TikTok.
00:08:49.220 That is where they're learning about what happened on October 7th,
00:08:52.400 what happened in the days, weeks, and months to follow.
00:08:55.540 And that's a serious problem.
00:08:57.740 It's a serious problem for democracy, said Hillary,
00:09:00.460 whether it's Israel or the United States,
00:09:02.520 and it's a serious problem for our young people.
00:09:05.540 It's not just the usual suspects.
00:09:07.040 It's a lot of young Jewish Americans who don't know the history and don't understand.
00:09:12.100 A lot of the challenge is with the younger people.
00:09:14.260 More than 50% of young people in America, according to Hillary,
00:09:17.160 get their news from social media.
00:09:19.560 So just pause for just a second.
00:09:21.960 They're seeing short-form videos, some of which are totally made up,
00:09:25.900 some of them not at all representing what they claim to be showing,
00:09:28.780 and that's where they get their information.
00:09:30.960 It's very rare that I agree with Hillary Clinton on anything.
00:09:33.840 After all, I wrote the book, The Clintons' War on Women,
00:09:37.460 which is the definitive rundown on the epic crimes of Bill and Hillary Clinton,
00:09:42.640 the penicillin-resistant syphilis of the American politics, is what I called them.
00:09:49.160 In this case, though, Hillary Clinton may actually have a point.
00:09:52.360 The problem is that establishment politicians like Hillary Clinton created this monster
00:09:56.540 by spreading this woke nonsense for years.
00:09:59.100 They fed the alt-left thinking that these radicals could serve as their shock troops against Republicans,
00:10:05.800 and it worked for a while until President Trump came down that golden escalator
00:10:10.440 and proved himself to be impervious to the leftist attacks.
00:10:16.000 Now, after a major electoral victory, the monster is turning against mainstream Democrats like Hillary.
00:10:21.600 That's why I continue to say that the old Democrat Party,
00:10:25.200 the Democrat Party of John F. Kennedy and Harry Truman,
00:10:28.880 a party that believed in capitalism, free enterprise,
00:10:32.560 a strong national defense, and, well, God, exists no longer.
00:10:38.140 Really, Hillary Clinton has nobody to blame but herself.
00:10:40.640 Now the battle between the future of the country
00:10:42.900 is between the America First forces and the hardcore anti-Israel left.
00:10:49.720 I believe that the Republicans and Donald Trump and those who stand for America First must win,
00:10:55.800 or our country and our civilization will meet the same fate as Russia in the 20th century
00:11:01.220 after the Bolsheviks took control.
00:11:04.080 Meanwhile, the Trump administration announced Tuesday
00:11:06.460 that it has suspended processing of immigration applications from 19 countries,
00:11:11.720 citing national security and public safety concerns.
00:11:14.740 The order halts green cards, asylum claims, and U.S. citizenship applications for affected nationals.
00:11:21.280 The policy affects applicants from Afghanistan, Somalia, Miramar, Chad,
00:11:28.040 the Republican of Congo, Ecuadorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Sudan, Yemen, Burundi, Cuba,
00:11:38.420 Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and, of course, Venezuela.
00:11:43.060 This move follows last year's shooting near the White House
00:11:46.920 where an Afghan national was accused of killing one National Guard soldier
00:11:52.260 and critically wounding a second.
00:11:55.040 Administration officials say the pause allows for a comprehensive re-review of cases
00:12:00.200 to strengthen vetting and prevent these kind of security threats.
00:12:04.640 I say it's about time.
00:12:06.800 Officials say the step follows a partial ban that was enacted back in June
00:12:10.920 and reflects concerns about screening failures.
00:12:14.620 Border Policy Chief Tom Homan, a good friend of mine,
00:12:17.720 called the Afghan screening process the biggest national security failure in our history.
00:12:22.860 Tom Homan, as usually, calls it straight.
00:12:25.320 There is no more room in America for the refuse of the third world countries,
00:12:29.740 not to mention many of these countries harbor grudges against us
00:12:32.820 because of foreign policies pushed by the CIA
00:12:35.620 that most Americans don't even know about.
00:12:38.540 So we're opening the door for supposedly humanitarian purposes
00:12:42.820 to different people who hate us and want to wage war against us.
00:12:47.560 This comes to an abrupt end with the Trump administration.
00:12:51.020 Our country is full and we're putting Americans first for a change.
00:12:54.500 It is time, in my view, to close our borders for people from these various countries.
00:12:59.840 Meanwhile, the Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry criticized President Donald Trump on Tuesday
00:13:05.000 following Trump's candid comments accusing members of Minnesota's Somali community
00:13:10.300 of involvement in large-scale fraud.
00:13:13.060 It was revealed last week that under the nose and with the full knowledge of Governor Tim Walz,
00:13:19.320 $250 million was stolen from American taxpayers
00:13:23.340 and was actually routed to terrorists in Somalia.
00:13:27.680 Yet the mayor of Minneapolis, Fry, says that Trump is wrong to criticize Somalis
00:13:32.240 and we want them here. Somali people have been an extraordinary benefit.
00:13:36.640 I'll say it again. Somali people have been a benefit to our city
00:13:39.660 for longer than I've been in our city, said the mayor.
00:13:42.880 They've started businesses and created jobs.
00:13:45.800 They've added to the cultural fabric of what Minneapolis is.
00:13:49.260 They welcomed me when I first came to Minneapolis.
00:13:51.560 The bottom line of this is very, very simple, folks.
00:13:54.620 They need those votes.
00:13:56.200 There are, even as we speak, thousands of Somalians who are not U.S. citizens
00:14:00.980 but who are voting in the Minnesota elections, and therein lies the problem.
00:14:06.660 If you criticize this, of course, you're called all kinds of names,
00:14:10.240 xenophobic, racist, and so on.
00:14:12.820 But I believe that it's a time for only those who are actually legally eligible
00:14:18.180 to vote in the United States, meaning U.S. citizens,
00:14:21.940 could be allowed to do so.
00:14:23.480 I'm Roger Stone. You're listening to The Stone Zone.
00:14:26.300 Please keep listening, because we'll be right back.
00:14:30.360 The Stone Zone.
00:14:31.840 Entertaining and informative.
00:14:34.000 On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:14:36.880 Welcome back into The Stone Zone.
00:14:39.560 The White House released a video Tuesday featuring military veterans
00:14:43.380 criticizing the so-called seditious six.
00:14:47.020 Those were elected Democrats who are military veterans
00:14:50.340 who made a video calling for members of our current military
00:14:54.280 to refuse to comply with, quote,
00:14:56.480 illegal orders from President Donald Trump.
00:14:59.340 In response to the seditious six, veterans appeared in the White House video
00:15:03.140 arguing that their message has to do with military discipline
00:15:07.520 and the chain of command.
00:15:09.220 The administration said their remarks threaten the principle
00:15:11.260 of civilian control of our armed services.
00:15:14.060 Now, I find it quite curious that Senator Slotkin from Michigan,
00:15:19.400 who seems to be leading this particular charge,
00:15:22.720 predicted only two weeks ago that it was only a matter of weeks
00:15:25.780 before some National Guardsman was shot and killed.
00:15:29.360 And, of course, two weeks later, exactly that happened.
00:15:32.540 The other thing that's disturbing to me is that among these congresswomen
00:15:36.180 is the congresswoman from New Hampshire,
00:15:38.580 Congresswoman Goodlander.
00:15:39.680 She just happens to be the wife of Jake Sullivan.
00:15:43.040 Jake Sullivan was Joe Biden's National Security Advisor.
00:15:46.360 Before that, he was Hillary Clinton's National Security Advisor.
00:15:49.460 And he was one of the architects of the Russian collusion hoax.
00:15:53.220 Very specifically, it was Jake Sullivan who approved the false claim
00:15:58.000 that Alpha Bank, a Russia bank, had a computer terminal
00:16:02.300 inside the Trump Organization headquarters on Fifth Avenue in New York.
00:16:07.420 That, of course, turned out to be completely false.
00:16:10.820 So I agree with Alex Jones, but even Jesse Waters now sees
00:16:15.700 that there's something much larger and darker afoot here.
00:16:19.820 I believe that those who refuse to accept the results
00:16:23.400 of the last presidential election are planning some mass-based
00:16:27.160 false flag or insurgency because they know they can't win an election.
00:16:32.400 I agree with one of those veterans who was at the White House,
00:16:35.060 the director of Moms for America, who said,
00:16:37.600 the White House has made it very clear that orders that come
00:16:40.520 from the commander-in-chief in the secretary of war
00:16:42.480 have been upheld as lawful, suggesting otherwise is designed
00:16:46.300 to create confusion and weaken our national security.
00:16:50.020 For those senators and members of Congress to come forward,
00:16:52.780 use their status as veterans to claim in some way
00:16:55.460 that they're allowed to stand in the way of the normal chain of command,
00:16:59.720 well, that's treason.
00:17:00.760 Jesse Jane Duff, who served as the deputy assistant secretary for policy
00:17:05.760 at the U.S. Department of Labor's Veterans Employment and Training Service,
00:17:09.440 said,
00:17:09.760 it's not ironic, though, that these are all Democrats
00:17:12.880 that defy and despise the president of the United States,
00:17:16.220 and they would love to see some form of uprising in this country
00:17:19.580 to go against the president.
00:17:21.300 So this blatant act of insubordination from the so-called
00:17:25.040 Sadistic Six with the armed forces is clearly, in my view,
00:17:28.660 a criminal act, and Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona
00:17:31.460 is now facing the potential of a court-martial as a result.
00:17:35.740 The White House is correct to keep pushing this
00:17:37.940 and not just letting it slide.
00:17:40.540 This is a battle for the soul of our nation's military
00:17:42.960 and for our country.
00:17:44.800 We're going to need a strong military
00:17:47.340 to bring terrorists, foreign and domestic, to justice.
00:17:50.200 The Democrats want the military to stand down.
00:17:52.340 It comes time to put the deep-straight king-prince
00:17:54.660 and their allies, the Antifa thugs, into shackles,
00:17:58.100 and that cannot happen if we want to make America great again.
00:18:02.320 Thanks for tuning in.
00:18:03.300 I'm Roger Stone.
00:18:04.260 You're listening to The Stone Zone here
00:18:05.800 on the Red Apple Audio Networks.
00:18:08.720 We'll be right back with more hot politics.
00:18:10.960 So whatever you do, please keep listening.
00:18:13.400 We'll be right back.
00:18:15.040 Welcome back to The Stone Zone.
00:18:25.100 Last week, President Donald Trump made an announcement
00:18:28.120 that rocked the foundations of both American
00:18:30.540 and Honduran politics
00:18:32.660 when he said he was going to issue a pardon
00:18:35.180 for the country's former president,
00:18:37.680 Juan Orlando Hernandez.
00:18:40.120 True to his word, Hernandez was released
00:18:42.620 from custody yesterday, and he's now a free man
00:18:46.000 after serving a little over one year in prison.
00:18:49.300 To be very clear, last Friday morning,
00:18:51.940 I forwarded a four-page letter
00:18:54.020 from the former president of Honduras, Hernandez,
00:18:58.360 to President Donald Trump.
00:19:00.180 But contrary to some in the mainstream media,
00:19:03.220 such as Esquire and others,
00:19:06.020 as well as various internet trolls,
00:19:08.200 I was compensated nothing whatsoever
00:19:11.300 for my advocacy for a pardon
00:19:13.400 for the former Honduran president,
00:19:16.100 and I simply forwarded a compelling letter
00:19:18.180 from Hernandez to the president
00:19:19.960 because a review of the facts in the case
00:19:23.380 led me to the clear conclusion
00:19:25.420 that the charges against Hernandez
00:19:27.560 were both politically motivated and false.
00:19:31.360 Hernandez was charged and prosecuted
00:19:33.460 utilizing the same tactics of lawfare
00:19:35.920 in which President Trump himself was charged
00:19:38.440 by Special Counsel Jack Smith.
00:19:40.420 In other words, in short,
00:19:42.020 Juan Orlando Hernandez was framed.
00:19:45.140 President Trump's clemency
00:19:46.340 for the former Honduran president
00:19:48.040 is therefore an act of both justice and mercy.
00:19:52.260 In fact, President Hernandez's letter
00:19:54.340 was sent to me by an investigative journalist,
00:19:56.860 Shane Trejo,
00:19:58.080 as I disclosed on my radio show on Sunday,
00:20:01.260 where I hosted the former Honduran first lady,
00:20:04.640 Ana Garcia de Hernandez,
00:20:06.900 and their two daughters,
00:20:08.780 Ana Daniel and Isabela Hernandez,
00:20:11.520 after the pardon was announced.
00:20:13.520 The pardon came days before the national election,
00:20:16.440 where the ruling left-wing Libra party
00:20:19.760 hoped to remain in control.
00:20:22.660 Libra is, of course,
00:20:23.860 in league with the regimes
00:20:25.760 in both Cuba and Venezuela.
00:20:27.780 Immediately after Hernandez was termed out of office
00:20:31.300 in 2022,
00:20:32.800 the Labor Party president,
00:20:34.880 Xiomar Castro,
00:20:36.400 wife of former President Mel Zelaya,
00:20:39.700 worked with the Biden-Harris Department of Justice
00:20:42.200 to extradite Hernandez
00:20:43.780 over completely fabricated charges
00:20:46.600 of drug trafficking.
00:20:48.340 But examining the facts of the case
00:20:50.480 show that there was nothing more
00:20:51.940 than a politically motivated hit
00:20:54.140 by the Biden-Harris administration,
00:20:56.180 in which their witch hunt
00:20:57.700 against Donald Trump and his allies,
00:20:59.360 both foreign and domestic,
00:21:01.080 continued.
00:21:02.180 Actually,
00:21:03.120 throughout Hernandez's tenure
00:21:04.760 as Honduran president,
00:21:06.620 he worked very closely
00:21:08.100 with the United States
00:21:08.980 on drug interdictions
00:21:10.220 and received President Trump's praise
00:21:12.680 for his work in doing so.
00:21:14.600 Hernandez even signed
00:21:16.180 the extradition treaty
00:21:17.500 that allowed for criminals
00:21:18.800 who were involved in drug trafficking
00:21:20.600 to be sent to the United States
00:21:22.000 and prosecuted,
00:21:23.280 a landmark agreement
00:21:24.500 and cracking down
00:21:25.480 against the scourge
00:21:26.560 of illegal drugs.
00:21:28.240 In fact,
00:21:28.640 President Trump said at the time,
00:21:30.400 President Hernandez
00:21:30.900 is working with the United States
00:21:32.200 very closely.
00:21:33.900 You know what's going on
00:21:34.780 on our southern border
00:21:35.680 and we're winning
00:21:36.340 after years and years of losing.
00:21:38.460 We're stopping drugs
00:21:39.280 at a level that has never happened.
00:21:40.980 President Trump said that
00:21:41.820 back on December of 2019.
00:21:44.940 But unbeknownst to Trump,
00:21:46.840 agents of the deep state
00:21:48.160 were plotting a case
00:21:49.280 against his ally
00:21:50.500 in stopping the drug trade
00:21:52.480 using testimony
00:21:53.480 from convicted criminals
00:21:55.400 who Hernandez had extradited
00:21:57.400 to the United States
00:21:58.420 and fabricating a case
00:22:00.200 against Hernandez,
00:22:01.440 casting he himself
00:22:02.600 as a drug trafficker.
00:22:04.580 During Hernandez's trial,
00:22:06.260 a law enforcement official
00:22:07.500 gave completely false testimony
00:22:09.540 claiming that cocaine trafficking
00:22:11.540 to the United States
00:22:12.680 from Honduras
00:22:14.200 had increased
00:22:14.940 during Hernandez's administration,
00:22:17.500 when in fact,
00:22:18.180 cocaine trafficking
00:22:18.960 to the United States
00:22:19.640 had sharply decreased.
00:22:21.340 But the judge,
00:22:22.660 of course,
00:22:23.300 rejected Hernandez's request
00:22:24.860 for a retrial on that basis.
00:22:27.160 Hernandez's case
00:22:27.980 was largely based
00:22:29.000 on conjecture
00:22:29.920 and the testimony
00:22:30.840 of murderous,
00:22:32.280 convicted cartel leaders
00:22:33.660 who had an axe
00:22:34.840 to grind against Hernandez
00:22:36.180 and who were highly incentivized
00:22:38.500 to produce testimony,
00:22:40.100 damning the man
00:22:40.820 who sent them to prison
00:22:41.840 to begin with
00:22:42.580 because of the deals
00:22:43.860 that they were working
00:22:44.700 with the DEA.
00:22:46.520 Two of these cartel kingpins
00:22:48.540 were Carlos Negro Lobo
00:22:51.060 and Divas Leonel Rivera
00:22:53.660 Meridiaga.
00:22:55.300 Now, Lobos was extradited
00:22:57.120 to the United States
00:22:57.860 in 2014
00:22:58.700 as part of Hernandez's
00:23:00.700 widespread crackdown
00:23:01.840 against the narco trafficking
00:23:03.740 in Honduras.
00:23:05.080 U.S. attorneys
00:23:05.720 and DEA officials
00:23:07.040 both called Lobo
00:23:08.220 one of the biggest
00:23:09.280 cocaine transporters
00:23:10.580 in the international
00:23:11.580 drug trade
00:23:12.560 at the time of his arrest
00:23:14.040 with evidence showing
00:23:14.980 that Lobos
00:23:16.000 had actually smuggled
00:23:17.060 more than 450 kilograms
00:23:19.280 of cocaine
00:23:20.400 into the United States.
00:23:22.760 The U.S. attorneys
00:23:23.560 commended the effort
00:23:24.840 of Hernandez
00:23:25.900 at the time
00:23:26.640 to put Lobo
00:23:27.280 behind bars
00:23:28.060 but that all changed
00:23:29.500 when the anti-Trump
00:23:30.720 political agenda
00:23:31.560 of the Biden-Harris
00:23:33.200 administration
00:23:33.740 took hold.
00:23:35.000 Lobo,
00:23:35.480 who had been sentenced
00:23:36.480 to 20 years in prison,
00:23:38.340 actually only served
00:23:39.120 10 years
00:23:39.660 after he engaged
00:23:40.560 in secret negotiations
00:23:41.820 with the U.S. attorney's office
00:23:43.660 at the same time
00:23:44.680 that Hernandez
00:23:45.620 was under indictment.
00:23:47.640 It was an obvious
00:23:48.460 conflict of interest
00:23:49.480 existing
00:23:50.020 with Lobo
00:23:50.660 highly motivated
00:23:51.640 and therefore incentivized
00:23:52.900 to provide
00:23:53.420 any testimony
00:23:54.760 the prosecutors wanted
00:23:56.680 to harm the very man
00:23:58.440 who put him
00:23:59.000 behind bars
00:23:59.820 as well as
00:24:00.980 the sharp reduction
00:24:02.020 in his sentence.
00:24:03.460 And,
00:24:03.940 following his release,
00:24:05.200 Lobo,
00:24:06.040 who had been pictured
00:24:06.740 living it up
00:24:07.400 in Miami Beach
00:24:08.220 drinking a cold cerveza
00:24:09.900 and carousing
00:24:10.800 with a lady front
00:24:11.800 after essentially
00:24:12.500 gotten away
00:24:13.080 with murder
00:24:13.640 from help
00:24:14.820 from the Biden
00:24:15.900 Justice Department.
00:24:17.180 Then,
00:24:17.500 another cartel leader
00:24:18.660 who testified
00:24:19.200 against President Hernandez,
00:24:21.240 Mara Diaga,
00:24:22.540 who was convicted
00:24:23.400 a drug lord
00:24:24.620 who pled guilty
00:24:25.440 to sanctioning
00:24:26.180 78 murders
00:24:27.360 while leading
00:24:28.380 a billion-dollar
00:24:29.320 drug trafficking syndicate.
00:24:31.220 Among the most powerful
00:24:32.280 Central American
00:24:33.300 drug dealers,
00:24:34.480 the so-called
00:24:35.020 Cachinos gang,
00:24:37.000 Mara Diaga
00:24:37.620 artfully played
00:24:38.620 over-eager
00:24:39.520 DEA agents
00:24:40.600 like a fiddle
00:24:41.320 to ensure
00:24:42.260 preferential treatment
00:24:43.380 following his indictment
00:24:44.680 despite his
00:24:45.540 undelienable
00:24:46.600 kingpin status.
00:24:48.480 So,
00:24:48.880 Juan Orlando Hernandez's
00:24:50.940 increased enforcement
00:24:52.060 measures against
00:24:52.720 drug cartels,
00:24:54.120 Mara Diaga
00:24:54.880 saw the handwriting
00:24:55.920 on the wall
00:24:56.540 as his assets
00:24:57.360 were being seized
00:24:58.220 and as his
00:24:59.480 Caracirino gang
00:25:01.120 was under public
00:25:01.940 investigation
00:25:02.620 by the United States.
00:25:04.840 Mara Diaga
00:25:05.540 got ahead of the issue,
00:25:06.680 turning himself in,
00:25:07.460 and then worked
00:25:08.000 with the feds
00:25:08.700 to throw the leader
00:25:10.120 who had cornered him
00:25:11.920 cracking down
00:25:12.880 on the cartels
00:25:13.560 under the bus
00:25:14.420 only to protect himself.
00:25:16.720 Mara Diaga
00:25:17.500 recorded an interview
00:25:18.700 with drug traffickers
00:25:19.700 who alleged to have
00:25:20.540 paid $250,000
00:25:22.460 in drug money
00:25:23.460 to Hernandez,
00:25:25.400 but the money
00:25:25.940 could never be tracked
00:25:27.380 and the allegations
00:25:28.380 were never substantiated
00:25:29.760 with serious evidence
00:25:30.720 during the court proceedings.
00:25:32.260 It was merely testimony
00:25:33.700 from a convicted
00:25:34.880 drug dealer.
00:25:35.720 It is recognized
00:25:37.240 that the murder rate
00:25:38.240 dropped and corrupt
00:25:39.200 police officers removed
00:25:40.400 from the force
00:25:41.200 during the time
00:25:42.000 Hernandez was in office,
00:25:43.640 not indicators
00:25:44.320 that he was
00:25:45.020 some kind of
00:25:45.980 hidden drug lord.
00:25:47.340 But those factors,
00:25:48.400 of course,
00:25:48.720 were not taken
00:25:49.440 into consideration
00:25:50.200 during his trial.
00:25:51.660 None of this,
00:25:52.340 of course,
00:25:52.600 has been reported
00:25:53.380 in the New York Times
00:25:54.440 or the Washington Post
00:25:55.460 or the Wall Street Journal.
00:25:57.060 They try to say
00:25:57.940 that there's some hypocrisy
00:25:59.360 between the fact
00:26:00.120 that President Donald Trump
00:26:01.620 is trying to remove
00:26:02.820 Maduro,
00:26:03.500 a known Marxist
00:26:05.380 anarcho-drug trafficker
00:26:06.660 in Venezuela
00:26:07.480 at the same time
00:26:08.520 who was granting
00:26:09.120 clemency to Hernandez.
00:26:10.940 But the difference
00:26:11.440 is obviously clear.
00:26:13.160 Hernandez was framed.
00:26:14.620 He's innocent.
00:26:15.740 Juan Orlando Hernandez
00:26:17.200 did nothing wrong.
00:26:19.140 Of all the Honduran
00:26:20.160 drug criminals
00:26:20.840 involved in engineering
00:26:22.020 the imprisonment
00:26:23.020 of Hernandez,
00:26:23.980 it's particularly difficult
00:26:24.720 to find any public
00:26:26.280 information whatsoever
00:26:27.640 about Mara Diaga's
00:26:29.120 sentencing.
00:26:30.000 That's because
00:26:30.680 his indictment
00:26:31.480 was sealed
00:26:32.060 on April 14, 2016,
00:26:34.440 noting that Mara Diaga
00:26:35.780 pled guilty
00:26:36.480 of multiple felonies
00:26:37.560 that called for
00:26:38.240 life sentences
00:26:39.600 in prison.
00:26:40.780 Still,
00:26:41.380 the plea agreement
00:26:42.340 approved by the infamous
00:26:43.640 Southern District
00:26:44.680 of New York
00:26:45.360 noted that the feds
00:26:46.780 will take steps
00:26:47.500 to ensure his safety
00:26:48.580 and that of his family
00:26:49.600 and loved ones,
00:26:50.560 which may include
00:26:51.440 application to the
00:26:52.540 witness security program,
00:26:54.420 whereby the defendant,
00:26:55.680 his family,
00:26:56.320 and the loved ones,
00:26:57.020 if approved,
00:26:57.860 could be relocated
00:26:59.580 under a new identity.
00:27:01.520 We have to assume
00:27:02.320 that that is precisely
00:27:03.200 what has happened.
00:27:04.620 Mara Diaga's plea agreement
00:27:05.900 was approved by
00:27:06.680 Obama's appointed
00:27:07.740 Southern District
00:27:08.660 of New York
00:27:09.420 attorney,
00:27:10.420 U.S. attorney,
00:27:11.360 Preet Bharara,
00:27:12.700 a rabid partisan
00:27:14.260 who was fired
00:27:15.000 by President Trump
00:27:15.900 in 2017.
00:27:18.080 I have revealed
00:27:19.120 right here
00:27:19.540 in the Stone Zone
00:27:20.380 that the attempts
00:27:21.480 to procure additional
00:27:22.460 details on Mara Diaga's
00:27:24.020 case and his whereabouts
00:27:25.580 filing a Freedom of Information
00:27:27.020 Act request
00:27:27.640 with the Department of Justice
00:27:29.260 will only result
00:27:30.540 in more questions
00:27:31.660 than answers.
00:27:33.320 To the extent
00:27:34.040 that non-public
00:27:35.160 responsive records
00:27:36.220 exist without consent,
00:27:38.180 proof of death,
00:27:38.900 or other overriding
00:27:40.000 public interest,
00:27:41.260 disclosure of law
00:27:42.240 enforcement records
00:27:43.120 concerning an individual
00:27:44.340 could reasonably
00:27:44.980 be expected
00:27:45.520 to constitute
00:27:46.200 an unwarranted
00:27:47.440 invasion of personal
00:27:48.800 privacy.
00:27:49.840 That's what the
00:27:50.280 Department of Justice
00:27:52.240 wrote to me
00:27:53.040 when I provided
00:27:54.180 or inquired
00:27:55.660 to obtain
00:27:56.440 these records.
00:27:57.740 Following an appeal
00:27:58.680 that cited
00:27:59.460 the newsworthiness
00:28:00.800 of the case,
00:28:01.660 details regarding
00:28:02.520 this drug lord,
00:28:03.840 the Department of Justice
00:28:04.780 has continued
00:28:05.580 to stonewall me
00:28:06.620 once more,
00:28:07.300 this time under
00:28:07.840 the pretense
00:28:08.460 of not being sure
00:28:09.660 which federal agency
00:28:10.740 could possess
00:28:11.580 the information.
00:28:12.840 It's basically
00:28:13.580 the bureaucratic
00:28:14.680 runaround.
00:28:15.460 Based on the information
00:28:16.760 you have provided,
00:28:17.740 I cannot determine
00:28:18.660 the nature of the records
00:28:19.740 you're seeking
00:28:20.260 and therefore cannot
00:28:21.120 recommend a federal entity
00:28:22.860 to which you should
00:28:23.720 submit your request,
00:28:25.300 the Department of Justice
00:28:26.480 wrote to one
00:28:27.520 of my researchers.
00:28:29.020 It's Mr. Hernandez
00:28:29.860 who signed into law
00:28:30.940 all of those rules
00:28:32.460 and laws
00:28:33.080 that put these
00:28:34.140 drug dealers
00:28:34.760 out of business.
00:28:35.500 Putting murderers
00:28:36.220 and drug dealers
00:28:37.220 on the witness stand
00:28:38.080 who have cut deals
00:28:38.980 and have them
00:28:39.880 point the finger
00:28:40.620 at former President
00:28:42.080 Hernandez
00:28:42.480 is not proof of anything
00:28:43.920 beyond a reasonable doubt.
00:28:45.900 That was an actual quote
00:28:47.080 from Hernandez's
00:28:48.080 defense attorney,
00:28:49.060 Renato Stabil.
00:28:49.960 During the Biden-Harris
00:28:52.500 administration campaign
00:28:53.660 of retribution
00:28:54.380 against President Trump
00:28:55.860 and his allies,
00:28:56.760 including, well,
00:28:57.640 yours truly,
00:28:58.720 they zeroed in
00:28:59.500 on Hernandez
00:29:00.180 and curried favor
00:29:01.280 with his opposition,
00:29:02.840 the far-left Libra Party.
00:29:05.200 Now, the Libra Party
00:29:06.360 was led by Xiomar Castro,
00:29:08.580 part of the infamous
00:29:09.540 Zelaya family
00:29:10.900 with deep ties
00:29:11.860 to the Venezuelan
00:29:13.400 Marxist narco-drug trafficker,
00:29:16.120 Nicolas Maduro.
00:29:17.600 These ties did not seem
00:29:19.180 to phase
00:29:19.960 the Biden administration
00:29:21.100 as they saw
00:29:21.980 the opportunity
00:29:23.100 to neutralize
00:29:24.620 a prominent
00:29:25.600 conservative Trump ally
00:29:27.320 in the Central American Honduras.
00:29:30.260 The Department of Justice
00:29:31.320 filed their indictment
00:29:32.340 on January 27th,
00:29:33.900 just one day
00:29:34.860 after Hernandez left office
00:29:36.380 and as Vice President
00:29:37.800 Kamala Harris
00:29:38.500 traveled to Honduras
00:29:40.280 to visit
00:29:41.220 and attend
00:29:42.480 Xiomar Castro's inauguration
00:29:44.520 to demonstrate
00:29:45.880 that the Biden-Harris
00:29:47.060 administration's
00:29:47.820 personal stamp of approval
00:29:49.000 was on the communists
00:29:50.560 who had seized power
00:29:51.940 over Honduras.
00:29:53.460 Harris was
00:29:54.120 Xiomar Castro's
00:29:55.820 first meeting
00:29:56.360 as a world leader
00:29:57.180 shortly after
00:29:58.300 her swearing-in ceremony.
00:30:00.580 Vice President Harris
00:30:01.560 called Xiomar Castro's
00:30:03.060 victory historic
00:30:04.120 as Honduras'
00:30:05.520 first female president
00:30:06.680 and stated that
00:30:07.620 she would work
00:30:08.240 with the communists
00:30:09.020 to increase
00:30:09.640 economic opportunities,
00:30:11.420 combat corruption,
00:30:12.800 and deepen
00:30:13.340 the partnership
00:30:14.060 between the U.S.
00:30:15.040 and Honduras.
00:30:16.320 When the potential
00:30:17.120 conflict of interest
00:30:18.400 came up
00:30:18.960 as the Biden-Harris
00:30:20.140 administration
00:30:20.640 was embracing
00:30:21.360 the new leftist
00:30:23.140 Honduran president
00:30:24.340 while attempting
00:30:24.900 to imprison
00:30:25.520 her predecessor,
00:30:27.080 former Attorney General
00:30:28.280 Merrick Garland
00:30:28.940 defended the decision.
00:30:30.700 The new administration
00:30:31.500 of Honduras
00:30:32.100 wants our help,
00:30:33.000 Garland said.
00:30:33.640 There's no conflict
00:30:34.320 between our doing
00:30:35.020 this kind of work
00:30:36.120 and having good relations
00:30:37.500 in Latin America.
00:30:39.320 Despite the immense
00:30:40.780 ineptitude,
00:30:41.660 corruption,
00:30:42.060 and belligerence
00:30:43.120 of the Xiomar Castro
00:30:44.820 regime in Honduras,
00:30:46.440 soon the Biden-Harris
00:30:47.400 administration
00:30:47.920 created distance
00:30:48.900 from the colossal disaster
00:30:50.760 that they themselves
00:30:52.040 had helped unfold
00:30:53.280 in Honduras.
00:30:54.940 A hidden camera video
00:30:57.560 showed two of the witnesses
00:30:59.200 against Hernandez,
00:31:01.520 Lobo and Mara Diaga,
00:31:03.480 the same two drug kingpins
00:31:04.960 who received leniency
00:31:06.480 after testifying falsely
00:31:08.260 against Hernandez,
00:31:09.940 actually negotiating
00:31:11.160 a drug bribe
00:31:12.300 to fund
00:31:13.160 the left-wing
00:31:14.340 Libra Party operations.
00:31:15.920 This was a video
00:31:17.500 with Carlos Zelaya,
00:31:19.500 the former Secretary
00:31:20.340 of Congress,
00:31:21.380 who just happens
00:31:22.000 to be the brother
00:31:22.800 of former Honduras
00:31:23.840 President Mel Zelaya.
00:31:26.220 That would be
00:31:26.960 Xiomar Castro,
00:31:28.360 the former president.
00:31:29.760 In one video,
00:31:30.760 Carlos Zelaya
00:31:31.960 was caught speaking
00:31:32.780 about drug money
00:31:33.600 had been received
00:31:34.240 by his brother Mel.
00:31:35.680 They referenced
00:31:36.320 an alleged $500,000
00:31:38.040 that Mel Zelaya
00:31:39.680 received in bribe
00:31:41.100 money from the cartels.
00:31:42.800 The traffickers
00:31:43.360 agreed to put together
00:31:44.440 $650,000 for Zelaya
00:31:46.640 to ensure his compliance.
00:31:49.000 Carlos Zelaya
00:31:50.240 said half must go
00:31:51.320 to the commander,
00:31:52.580 meaning that we assume
00:31:53.560 his brother Mel,
00:31:55.020 with the rest
00:31:55.600 of the drug money
00:31:56.280 going into the coffers
00:31:57.320 of the far-left
00:31:58.420 Libra Party
00:31:59.500 that would seize
00:32:00.140 control of Honduras.
00:32:01.820 They also discussed
00:32:02.880 drug cartels
00:32:03.920 providing vehicular transport
00:32:05.560 for Libra Party functions.
00:32:08.280 Once again,
00:32:09.040 Carlos Zelaya
00:32:10.100 was forced to resign
00:32:11.120 in disgrace
00:32:11.660 as the secretary
00:32:13.040 of Congress
00:32:13.740 as a result
00:32:14.220 of this scandal,
00:32:15.540 and his son,
00:32:16.360 Jose Manuel Zelaya,
00:32:18.120 was forced to resign
00:32:18.980 as minister of defense
00:32:20.600 of Honduras.
00:32:21.800 At the same time,
00:32:22.600 President Castro
00:32:23.260 announced that she
00:32:23.920 would be canceling
00:32:25.360 the very extradition treaty
00:32:27.280 with the United States
00:32:28.320 that Hernandez
00:32:29.520 had signed into law
00:32:31.000 that allowed them
00:32:31.800 to extradite
00:32:32.960 drug traffickers
00:32:34.440 to the United States.
00:32:35.760 If you look closely
00:32:37.060 at the conviction
00:32:38.260 of Juan Orlando Hernandez,
00:32:40.920 the former president
00:32:41.860 of Honduras,
00:32:43.780 the whole thing stinks.
00:32:45.820 What's amazing, however,
00:32:46.980 is that the Washington Post,
00:32:48.420 the New York Times,
00:32:49.700 the Wall Street Journal,
00:32:51.120 Reuters,
00:32:51.640 none of these so-called
00:32:52.980 media outlets
00:32:53.980 are interested
00:32:54.680 in this real story.
00:32:56.780 Castro's officials
00:32:57.740 were seen fraternizing
00:32:59.420 with leaders
00:33:00.180 of the narco trade,
00:33:01.240 but all of that
00:33:02.560 is ignored.
00:33:03.160 This is the real story
00:33:04.860 of why President Trump
00:33:06.380 reviewed the facts
00:33:07.440 of this case
00:33:08.040 and decided to pardon
00:33:09.440 former Honduran President
00:33:11.500 Juan Orlando Hernandez.
00:33:14.260 I'm Roger Stone.
00:33:15.380 This is the Stone Cold Truth,
00:33:17.140 and I'll be right back.
00:33:19.880 The Stone Zone,
00:33:21.300 entertaining and informative
00:33:23.120 on the Red Apple Podcast Network.
00:33:26.520 Welcome back
00:33:27.320 to the Stone Zone.
00:33:28.360 Hypocrites in the mainstream media
00:33:30.120 want to say
00:33:31.000 that President Donald Trump
00:33:32.280 is somehow acting hypocritically
00:33:34.540 because at the very same time
00:33:36.360 he's trying to remove
00:33:37.420 the Marxist narco-drug trafficker
00:33:40.060 Nicolas Maduro
00:33:41.280 in Venezuela,
00:33:42.700 he decided to give clemency
00:33:44.160 to former Honduran President
00:33:46.080 Juan Hernandez.
00:33:48.260 This, of course,
00:33:49.020 is outrageous,
00:33:50.080 the difference being quite clear.
00:33:52.040 Juan Orlando Hernandez
00:33:53.440 was framed.
00:33:55.280 We know that officials
00:33:56.620 from the previous government
00:33:58.280 government of Xiomar Castro
00:34:00.520 had been seen publicly
00:34:01.580 fraternizing with leaders
00:34:02.820 of the narco-trade
00:34:04.120 in Latin America
00:34:04.880 and flouting it
00:34:05.700 in the face of U.S. officials.
00:34:07.900 Only last year,
00:34:08.840 Defense Minister
00:34:09.480 Jose Manuel Zelaya
00:34:11.000 held a meeting
00:34:11.600 with Maduro himself
00:34:12.660 and indicted
00:34:14.260 Venezuelan drug dealer
00:34:16.060 Vladimir Padrino,
00:34:17.640 drawing the ire
00:34:18.440 of the former U.S. ambassador
00:34:20.160 to the Honduras,
00:34:21.340 Laura Dugo,
00:34:22.400 who said she was surprised
00:34:23.600 that the Honduran Castro regime
00:34:26.040 was meeting openly
00:34:27.140 with drug traffickers.
00:34:28.740 The Biden administration
00:34:29.620 has been hoodwinked.
00:34:31.380 Honduran Foreign Minister
00:34:32.600 Enrique Reina
00:34:33.820 derided the interference
00:34:35.280 and interventionism
00:34:36.400 of the United States
00:34:37.760 in response
00:34:38.480 to this publicly
00:34:40.120 outrageous display.
00:34:42.280 I took particular interest
00:34:44.300 in the case
00:34:45.060 of former President
00:34:46.640 Juan Orlando Hernandez
00:34:48.160 because of how the situation
00:34:50.220 mirrored my own
00:34:51.540 when I was framed
00:34:52.560 in a D.C. courtroom
00:34:54.040 women subjected
00:34:54.700 to a Soviet-style show trial
00:34:57.080 despite the fact
00:34:58.380 that the final report
00:35:00.920 of Robert Mueller,
00:35:01.900 the special counsel,
00:35:03.060 once we fought in court
00:35:04.400 to get it unsealed,
00:35:06.000 proved that they'd found
00:35:06.920 no effort,
00:35:08.020 no Russian collusion,
00:35:09.860 WikiLeaks collaboration,
00:35:12.200 or any other crime
00:35:13.520 on my part.
00:35:14.600 So I understand
00:35:15.640 what the witch hunt
00:35:17.120 is like.
00:35:18.480 Hundreds of DEA thugs
00:35:20.060 working in concert
00:35:21.020 with Xiomar Castro's police
00:35:22.520 swarmed the home
00:35:24.000 of former President Hernandez
00:35:25.280 and ushered him out
00:35:26.360 in humiliating public display,
00:35:28.500 ripping him from his family.
00:35:29.640 Does this sound familiar?
00:35:31.700 They raided my home
00:35:33.060 at six o'clock
00:35:34.000 in the morning,
00:35:34.640 a show of force
00:35:35.660 in which 29
00:35:36.640 heavily armed FBI agents
00:35:38.640 in full SWAT gear
00:35:39.740 and brandishing
00:35:40.760 fully automatic
00:35:41.840 M4 assault weapons
00:35:43.200 stormed my home
00:35:44.540 when they simply
00:35:45.520 could have called
00:35:46.440 my lawyer
00:35:47.220 and told me
00:35:47.940 to turn myself in.
00:35:49.700 But if they had done that,
00:35:51.220 of course they wouldn't
00:35:52.020 have had the show
00:35:52.840 for CNN.
00:35:54.120 You see,
00:35:54.740 CNN just happened
00:35:55.980 to have a camera crew
00:35:57.400 25 feet from my front door.
00:35:59.980 They actually got an award
00:36:01.140 from the White House
00:36:02.120 Correspondents Association
00:36:03.480 for their incisive
00:36:05.060 investigative reporting
00:36:06.420 that led them
00:36:07.200 to my doorstep.
00:36:08.600 In fact,
00:36:09.440 at 6.11 in the morning
00:36:12.680 I was arrested,
00:36:13.980 but at 6.22
00:36:14.900 a producer at CNN
00:36:16.800 sent a copy
00:36:17.960 by text
00:36:18.920 of my sealed indictment
00:36:21.120 to one of my lawyers.
00:36:23.020 And although
00:36:23.380 that indictment
00:36:24.440 had no time stamps
00:36:25.940 or court markings on it,
00:36:27.480 if you looked
00:36:28.040 at the meta data tags,
00:36:29.860 you saw the initials
00:36:31.520 of the Mueller prosecutor
00:36:32.760 who wrote it
00:36:33.880 and therefore
00:36:34.720 the Mueller prosecutor
00:36:35.700 who leaked it
00:36:36.440 in violation of the law.
00:36:38.820 That man,
00:36:40.040 the most corrupt prosecutor
00:36:41.260 in U.S. history,
00:36:42.480 Andrew Weissman.
00:36:43.520 So you can see
00:36:44.840 why I was sympathetic
00:36:46.080 regarding the framing
00:36:48.000 of President Juan Orlando Hernandez
00:36:50.220 and why I was happy
00:36:52.020 to hand over
00:36:52.780 his eloquent letter
00:36:54.060 to President Trump.
00:36:55.620 It's amazing to me
00:36:56.800 that I've written
00:36:57.560 and said all of this extensively,
00:36:59.540 but no one
00:37:00.000 in the mainstream media
00:37:01.080 wants to cover the facts
00:37:03.120 regarding this illicit trial
00:37:05.060 that took place
00:37:05.780 in the Southern District
00:37:07.320 of New York.
00:37:08.620 Now you have it.
00:37:09.640 It's all here,
00:37:10.460 right here on the Stone Zone.
00:37:11.760 And I've laid it out
00:37:13.540 a chapter and verse.
00:37:15.960 The most outrageous thing
00:37:17.400 are the claims
00:37:18.240 by internet trones
00:37:19.620 and some even in the media
00:37:20.780 who say that Stone
00:37:21.680 must have been paid
00:37:22.500 millions of dollars
00:37:23.620 for his advocacy
00:37:25.020 for a pardon
00:37:26.220 for Juan Orlando Hernandez.
00:37:28.840 The truth is
00:37:29.340 I was paid not a penny.
00:37:31.840 He did nothing wrong
00:37:32.840 and therefore I was happy
00:37:34.720 to step up
00:37:35.660 in the interests
00:37:36.260 of both justice and mercy.
00:37:38.500 Now you have
00:37:39.220 the inside story,
00:37:40.540 but here's the silver lining.
00:37:41.760 In last Sunday's election,
00:37:44.500 the Nationalist Party candidate,
00:37:46.100 pro-U.S.
00:37:46.860 and anti-drug trafficking
00:37:48.460 Tito Asfura
00:37:49.640 clearly came in first
00:37:51.720 getting the most votes.
00:37:53.560 It remains to be seen
00:37:54.660 whether that will be certified
00:37:56.360 by the current government
00:37:57.520 as there is an ongoing effort,
00:37:59.820 we've seen this before,
00:38:01.220 to recount.
00:38:02.520 But I believe
00:38:03.180 that the forces of good
00:38:04.180 will triumph
00:38:04.740 and therefore
00:38:05.380 I sleep well at night
00:38:06.800 knowing that I recommended
00:38:07.980 a pardon
00:38:08.500 for a man
00:38:09.140 who was completely innocent
00:38:10.840 and I may have helped
00:38:12.720 to elect a pro-U.S.
00:38:14.660 anti-drug trafficking regime
00:38:16.740 in neighboring Honduras.

00:39:13.220 the problem right now

00:39:14.780 that are close to retirement,
00:39:15.920 they're taking so much risks
00:39:17.660 and if we do get
00:39:18.720 a big sell-off,
00:39:19.600 it could derail
00:39:20.320 their retirement.
